I hope you're doing well. After having defined what we want

for the year that's now starting, It's time for February

At this time of the year, plants start to show themselvesthrough those small green

signs that turn up.

At this time of the year also, we enter the tree element, according to

the cycle of the five transformations

This time of the year also, on 4 February, we have what Asians

call Lap Chun, that is, the beginning of Spring.

And this Spring, which as I said is characterised by the tree element,

is often times associated with the energy

of drive, the energy of creation, the energy of moving forwards, dynamism, new

projects... reaching what it is we want.

And so, it's also associated with exercise.

Although many times, when September ends people say

"I'll stay in shape", I'll keep working out,

the truth is that when the cold weather comes, as well as the rainy evenings, people

tend to stay home.

But at this time of the year, when the tree energy starts to show, people

start to feel this healthy unrest and try to work out.

Even more so because the days are now starting to get longer.

And exercise is what we'll be talking to you about, today.

For those of you who need a small boost, did you know Feng Shui can help?

That's right. We have three major allies here.

They are plants, setting free and our sports accessories.

First I'll talk about plants.

As they're plants, they represent the tree element.

But plants, according to their colour, shape and even their structure, may represent

the 5 elements within the tree element.

So, when we want to stimulate this tree energy inside our homes so

we can have the motivation and drive to work out, let's pick

the plants that best represent this element. They are narrow,

vertical, green plants.

A good example of such plants are bamboo stalks.

To create this energy of drive and to be aligned with the season,

these plants must be placed in an area of your home where the tree energy is in harmony.

However, we can only find this energy by doing a few calculations.

But, generally speaking, I can tell you that this energy can be stimulated

in the Eastern sector of your home.

Why is that?

Because this sector is somehow associated with this element.

Take caution! This doesn't necessarily mean that this area of your home needs

to be decorated using the tree element.

No!

These are two different things.

And so, to create the energy boost you need to work out,

I suggest you place this type of plant in the Eastern part of your home or room.

Let's move on to the second point that can help us. It's liberation, or setting free.

Many of us have a minimalist home or one without much stuff. But others have homes

that are absolutely filled with stuff.

So, what happens in such situations?

The energy stagnates.

To make it easier, you can associate energy with air flows.

Do you think the air will be able to flow if your house is filled with stuff?

No!

Now think, if you want to free your home, imagine the energy as an air flow.

And you will feel intuitively where it needs to be liberated.

Of course, the best sectors are once again the Eastern sector, because it is associated

with this dynamism and we are entering Spring.

Finally, the last ally that can help you are sports accessories.

Did you know that the place where you store them can have a huge impact on your motivation?

That's right!

In our home, vertically, we have three zones: We have the zone for the past,

more or less the first third, the zone for the present, which is the second third

and is more or less in the middle, and we have the third and last zone, which is up there,

the zone for the future.

So, if in your closet you store your gym clothes or sports accessories

down below, it's gone. You won't want to work out and once more

postpone it until the summer when you want to hit the beach

If, on the other hand, you store your sports gear above, it's future. The future

is always future, it never comes.

So your sports gear needs to be at the level of the present, that is,

at eye level.

I can also add that the colour that you select for your gear also

has a huge influence. According to your date of birth, namely

BaZi or Chinese astrology calculations, we can determine which elements

will benefit you most and their corresponding colours.

Since this information is a bit more personal, I cannot tell you "wear green,

wear blue, wear black".

It depends...

To conclude, I'd like to focus on another aspect. Our kitchens.

Many of us have the kitchen in front of the front door,

and when I say in front, I mean right in front!

We enter the house and the kitchen is right in front of us. What does this

trigger quite often?

An increase in appetite.

So if you want help in curbing your appetite, I recommend two things:

either close the kitchen door close the kitchen door, or place a decorative item in that area

that will block your line of vision.

The youngster, who also has epilepsy and narcolepsy, takes heavy doses of painkillers to deal with her condition as even passing urine can be excruciating

Her father, Rahman Chowdhury, said she has 'not had a childhood' due to the extent of her pain

He said: 'She has not had a childhood. People have no idea the extent of the pain

It is like having third degree burns or Stage Four cancer. 'When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday next week, she said she just wants to die

'She is so poorly, she has missed a lot of her school classes. We can't do much as a family because we have to be beside Imarni constantly

All she can do is sit and watch cartoons on TV to take her mind off it.'She suffers from epilepsy and narcolepsy

She used to love dancing and swimming and riding her scooter and it is hard for her to see her siblings jumping into a hot-tub or out riding on their bikes

' Mr Chowdhury said his family have been told there is a special gel available that could alleviate some of his daughter's pain

But while specialists in Sheffield and Nottingham both agree this is available, they say it needs to be licensed so Imarni can be treated at home

Mr Chowdhury said: 'We have been written to by the NHS who say it can only be provided by our primary carer, which in our case is Grimsby hospital

But they say they do not have the training to do so.'Imarni's mother Susan, who suffers a similar condition, is treated at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby

But the procedures she has access to aren't available to her daughter due to her age

Mr Chowdhury said this has been prone to infections over the past year - and he worries she could 'get sepsis and die'

Her mother also said her daughter has been 'passed from one department to another' due to miscommunication at the hospital

She said: 'It has been going on too long. It seems there is miscommunication and we get passed from one department to another

'It is so bad that she is terrified to go into hospital because she is in so much pain and knows all that has gone on in the past

It is difficult to explain to someone of such a young age. We want her to get the treatment she needs

'Nottingham said they sent a letter to Sheffield and to Grimsby. They said they had not received a letter

Then five weeks letter they say they have got a letter but they do not have licence for the treatment to give to a child

I have seen the treatment that my daughter needs.'The illness has no cure and most doctors don't have the knowledge about it and no one understands the pain the illness causes

I had the nerves around my bladder burnt off so that they do not spasm.' Professor Prasad Godbole, Consultant Paediatric Urologist at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust, said, 'At Sheffield Children's we work to provide the best treatment possible for our patients

We understand it can be frustrating to wait for specific treatment to be provided

'Sometimes this is because the specialist treatments we recommend are not always available elsewhere

We are doing all we can to coordinate with local, regional and national NHS organisations in order to support our patients as safely and quickly as possible
