...sobre el liderazgo
¿Cómo se siente ser líder vicentino?
To be a leader in the Vincentian Family is a great responsibility
but it's a beautiful journey
where you encounter a sense of your life
you encuenter a "notion", a path
and you know why you are living and for whom you are living
I believe that the secret of being Vincentian is encountering Christ in the poor person
and we can relate to Christ by way of the poor
I believe it is a great responsibility
to attain, as is possible, an "ordered life"
to be able to inspire other young people
to have the motivation to follow Christ, the evangelizer and servant of the poor.
I beleive this is the great responsibility that a Vincentian leader has.
and the leadership that I've been able to attain, the only thing that I can say is "Thanks,"
because the very grateful feeling, that one doesn't seek but that God gives,
and when god gives it, you are filled with joy
but one can understand that this thing that God gives,
is not for yourself, but for the service of others,
and when you share it, the joy of the Gospel is multiplied.
¿Que puede hacer para invitar más leaders?
I believe that -- this isn't advice, more a suggestion -- what I can say is that
nothing functions in the Vincentian Family without prayer
in the first place.
You have to attain a rhythm of prayer, that for me in particular, is difficult, in Chiclaya
I have obligations.
When I leave for a trip, the rhythm of life changes, but you have to maintain a desire
for, a feeling for the Eucharist, that as a basis.
In the second place, we have to show ourselves as near, welcoming, not be distant,
close to the people;
and understand that every person in the Vincentian Family, like any person in the world, has a "process"
-- a distinct process.
And it's revealed that, some are more advanced in this faith process,
and others have recently started and you have to have patience.
I believe it's the prayer, to know how to listen to the people, and in the third place
try to respond, in a manner that's possible, to the people.
and something that's helped me a lot, is that nothing I've done in the Vincentian Family
I've done alone.
Always there has been someone beside me;
and this is vital, for whatever leader.
Many times, also, I've felt a little lost or a little confused.
I remember once in 2004, in the assembly hall of the high school
of the Congregation of the Mission, for youth group,
and I entered like any young person, with my notebook and my bible and ready to listen to what the priest said.
Little by little, I came to know the charism; I came to know God
and what I can say is there are many things that I didn't ask for, but God has given.
The road of a leader is, I believe, also this.
One as leader doesn't ask for things, but God gives them, and you have to know to value
the things that God gives
and learn to show the "followers," the companions on the road, this -- that God helps us and
we're not alone.
This is it: to pray, listen, and to work as a team, or Vincentian Collaboration.
You can't do anything in the Vincentian family in a solitary manner.
We always need of, in the first place, God, our brothers and sisters, the poor,
and many other things.
¿Cómo podemos hacer la Familia Vicentina más conocida?
Well, many times, when they talk about congregations or religious families, what comes out is Franciscans,
or Salesians, or Augustinians, and "the others."
And us, we are in the "others!"
I think that the best way, from the point of view of wanting place something in public,
is to give testimony.
I think the best way for people would know what a Vincentian
is that every Vincentian would live like they ought to live,
like the charism invites us to live.
You don't just have to "be" Vincentian, you have to look like a Vincentian!
I think that in life, if a leader hasn't yet taken this stance in his life, in whatever
service he or she is called to serve in the family,
and makes the intention to live as a Vincentian,
this the people are going to notice
The second, also to be a Vincentian is a road to God, a really beautiful road.
But, also, like everyone, in my case still young, and like any person
has difficulties, has lots of difficulties
including temptations; the experience of sin isn't far from the Vincentian road,
but I think, you have to know to ask help, to have spiritual accompaniment,
and at the same time,
remember that to be a Vincentian is a road where God shows his mercy.
One at times begins this journey thinking it's a perfect road,
but this doesn't exist.
In my experience, at least, there are moments when I have failed, I have sinned,
but I believe the difference is rooted in the fact that God loves me.
Not only to "feel" it, because many times there isn't this feeling of being close to God,
but while I can be confident that God loves me,
I think that this has been one of the constant thoughts by which I've been able to keep me
on this road.
Thank you, Remberth, Thank you Aidan. God bless. You, too.

500 Milhas de Kart | Com Renato Russo, Matheus Leist, Bia Figueiredo e mais | #SennaTV - 035 - Duration: 10:11.
Hi! I'm Rodrigo França, this is Senna TV,
and today we'll be talking about the Go Kart 500!
So, friends of Senna TV,
here we are with a special episode about the Go Kart 500,
the main endurance event in Brazilian Go Kart racing.
But more than that, it's a big get together for drivers of several teams,
in different categories.
And right next to me, I have Renato Russo.
-Thanks for talking to Senna TV. -Thank you.
And there's a reason why he's here. He's our team principal.
There's a team of journalists and Russo is our manager and our coach.
You are an eight-time Brazilian go kart champion,
but things are different here.
There are F1 drivers, IndyCar drivers...
And one more thing about you: you've raced with Ayrton Senna.
It's an honor, for me, to race with you. I can imagine you felt the same about Ayrton.
Because Ayrton already was the biggest name in Brazilian go kart racing, right?
Yeah, it happened at the Pan American championship, in Porto Alegre.
I already was a total Senna fanboy.
I remember like it was today. I was training at the go kart track
when I saw a very humble truck arriving.
It had "DAP team" written on it. I thought, "That's Senna".
-"Here comes trouble". -Yeah, "Here comes trouble".
He already was the top go kart driver in the world.
The first heat was the most interesting one. I started in the lead.
I was able to hold Senna back for six laps, but they were the best six laps I've ever raced.
He bumped on me over and over again, because he was much faster and I was in the way.
Until he finally overtook me and I fell to fifth or sixth place.
Later, I was in front of the pit garage, very happy.
And I saw my idol coming towards me, looking serious.
He looked at me and said, "Kid, you've got balls."
That made my day.
-Gialnluca Petecof. He was just... -What's up?
Fifth place in the World Go Kart Championship.
And who was there with you, pushing you along?
Giuliano Raucci, who was sixth in the championship and is also an F4 driver,
and right behind him, the Senna TV go kart, right?
-That's it. -There you go!
Ayrton Senna always mentioned Terry Fullerton, his greatest rival back in the go kart days.
Fullerton has a go kart tem in England, right?
He does! I've met him and shook his hand.
We've talked briefly and he said that Ayrton
was always magnificent. Everyone's mood changed whenever he arrived at the track.
They fought amazing duels, you can find the videos on the Internet.
They were great adversaries.
It was great being able to hear from him a part of the story that not many people know about.
It was great meeting him and hearing all about that.
It`s great covering events like the Go Kart 500
because when you least expect, you can bump into the British F3 Champion, Matheus Leist.
Matheus, thank you for talking with Senna TV.
Matheus has also talked to us during the Golden Helmet ceremony.
He has a title that only 13 Brazilian drivers have won - he was the 13th.
And out of the other 12, 10 of them made it to F1.
So, we`re all hoping Matheus will become one of the Brazilian representatives in F1.
And as a big Ayrton Senna fan, he's got an intriguing story.
We have asked him a few times to talk about his F3 journey,
and we've given him the bracelet from our On the Pulse of Brazil campaign.
He took it to the final race, he was in second in the championship,
and he became the F3 champion in the last race.
Which was at Donington Park, in the rain.
The bracelet probably did't hurt, right?
It was for sure an incentive. It was my first time wearing it.
I think it brought a little luck, and it matched the feeling of being at Donington, in the rain.
It was a positive feeling, and it helped a lot.
Everytime I went back to the track I thought about the bracelet and Senna.
I think it was great.
My team's headquarters was in Woking.
-And my team principal, Boyo... -Just to give a little context,
Woking is where McLaren is located. It's a small town, right?
Yeah. And he said, "Here, sometimes you go to small restaurants and you find pictures of Senna there".
You know, places where he's been and left his mark.
I'm not gonna shake her hand. Give me a little kiss, Bia. With all due respect.
Bia represents women in motor sports, and here's the thing,
it ain't easy, right, Bia? Unfortunately it's a male-dominated sport.
But there you are, representing women.
First Brazilian woman in IndyCar, a Stock Car driver,
You've won races in Formula Renault.
Tell us about your career as a woman in motor sports.
I'm very proud of having come this far,
as the first woman to brake several of those barriers.
I've won go kart races against several Brazilian champions.
Lucas Di Grassi, Nelsinho, Jimenez, Campinhos... It's a good list.
They're all here! And they race in Stock Car, Formula One, Formula E...
So, I've raced with my idols and now they're my friends.
And it's always a big party.
And now I have my team. I've raced with them for a long time and now I have my team.
I've also raced with Ipiranga's Thiago Camilo.
Several big names. And also celebrities. We have a special Celebrity Race, which is different.
See? Journalists aren't the only ones who race, celebrities do it too.
Tell us about the Celebrety Race.
Long story short, we are in out third year.
Marcos Breda, who's an actor who loves motor sports...
I race a lot, people say I'm addicted to it, but Breda is worse.
He called out of the blue and said, "Hey Bia, let's do a race for actors and professional drivers."
I thought, "The guy is crazy".
But I went along and said: "Let's try it".
I found sponsors, it took off and now he's practically my brother.
This is our third year. We only skipped last year because I was getting married.
-It was on the same weekend. -That's a good excuse, though.
We can put up a picture of the wedding.
-It was almost a year ago. -And your husband is okay with you being here?
Last year, I wanted to race and then get married, but he didn't like the idea.
-He thought it was too risky. -Racing in a wedding gown would be too much.
I'd be walking down the aisle with grease on my face.
So I decided to skip it.
In this special Senna TV episode at the Go Kart 500,
take a look at who I've found. Ruben Carrapatoso.
The go kart world champion - a title that Senna has never won.
So that's nothing to scoff at.
And he's also the race's current winner. He won it in 2015.
We're in 2016 and you're watching us in 2017.
So, by then, we'll know who won the race, but today is the day of the qualifying sessions.
Is your name going on the trophy again, Carrapa? It's hard, isn't it?
We'll try. We've had a few problems in the qualifying sessions.
We'll be starting a little behind, but the race lasts 12 hours.
We're used to starting from behind and finishing at the front.
I was the runner-up in 2004 after starting in 72nd place.
Wait up. I can't even do the math.
-72nd. -There were 70 go karts on the track?
-There were 78 go karts. -Can you imagine that?
So, we're used to starting from behind.
We'll try to use everything we have and see what happens in the end.
We're talking about 12 hours.
When you competed in the World Championship had you watched Senna's races?
Had you ever had any contact with Ayrton or were you just a fan?
And I believe he's still a source of inspiration.
We've met in '93, at his ranch.
I was invited by Zé Dirani, who was friends with him at the time.
And the Dirani family lives one block away from my place.
So, I met him. There was a big party at his ranch, at the end of '93.
Lots of barbecue and go kart racing, two things we don't really care about.
I could even do without the barbecue, Carrapa.
True fans of Senna TV remember:
Giuliano Raucci was in our first episode, our big debut in May 2016.
Our show is almost one year old.
-Giuli, welcome back. -It's a pleasure to be here.
-And it's still our most viewed post. -Really? That's cool.
-It's the most watched video in our channel. -The first one.
And Giuli was amazing, here at the Go Kart 500.
-We'll try to get the footage. -It took some effort.
-I'll check if the GoPro worked. -I think it did.
It was my best result ever. I'll be starting my heat in 13th place.
-But just because I was able to follow him. -I helped a little.
-That happens in go kart racing, right? -All the time.
I saw you were behind me when I started my lap.
I looked back and said, "That's França. I'm gonna help him."
That's why in life, you gotta have friends. Being friends with the king is better than being the king.
It's so cool to be able to talk with drivers from so many categories.
Formula One, IndyCar, Stock Car...
It was great. Since you've liked it, like the video, share with your friends,
and take a look at our other videos. They're also pretty cool.
And you can also suggest new subjects and people that you want us to interview.
We're always taking a look at what you have to say. Thank you, and see you next time!
-Attention, Rodrigo França, report to the pit garage. -Those guys...

Rainy Portraits in the Studio: Take and Make Great Photography with Gavin Hoey - Duration: 10:30.
In this video I create a rainy window
portrait in a small home studio
hello I'm Gavin Hoey and you're watching
AdoramaTV. Brought to you by Adorama - the
camera store that's got everything for us
photographers! And today you join me
inside my small home studio which is
lucky because outside it's cold wet and
rainy except we are actually going to make it rain in
the studio, and I'm going to create a
rainy window portrait, after this I need
a few bits of kit. It all starts with
flash and I've got my Streaklight 360 on
a glow softbox up there, but also need a
small speedlight as well! And that's just
the lights, that's all we're going to use. The window
well no actual windows involved in fact
it's this - this is a sheet of three millimeter
perspex and that is going to
become our window, once we set everything
up. So! Well let's get a model in, let's
get shooting. Today I've been joined in
the studio by Beth, who's gonna be the
model for this shoot. Now she's already
positioned behind our window, but for the
light, well I've got a large softbox and
a Streaklight 360, so just a single light
source. I want to try and create the look
and feel of an overcast cloudy day, so a
big soft box is the way to go, and also
an elevated light source, because of
course the lights going to come down from above.
Now we got Beth in front of a black
background. I want it to be dark in the
background because if she was inside it
would be darker inside than outside. That
kind of works. I've metered this out at f/11.
Let's just take a picture with the
single light and see how it looks.
Beth are you ready? And get here we go.
And that's great, we get a nice well exposed
shot behind a rather tacky looking piece
of plastic, but it works. So to create
the rain, I'm going to use a water spray
and just going to spray the glass in
front of Beth. You ready? Here we go. Now
how much of this you put on is entirely
up to you, because it's going to change
the look and the feel. I think I want
quite a wet day - we're in the UK her
we are used to a bit of rain, so let's get
quite a bit of water on there.
Now you can add as much water as you
like to this, it's going to affect the the
look and feel of the shot, so maybe add a
little to begin with, and then build it
up as you go through. Ok, let's take a
test shot see how this looks.
Here we go! And it's lovely, it doesn't
affect the exposure at all. Of course it
does affect the look and feel of the
picture and f/11 - that means I've
got enough deputy of field to get the
water drops and Beth's face in focus, at
the same time, if you want to do a
variation of this you could just change
the depth of field, reduce the flash
power, go for a shallower depth of field
and maybe just have the water drops in
focus or just the models face in focus.
Now I talked about depth of field in
another video but for now I want
everything in focus, but I also want a
bit of detail in the background! To light
the background, I'm going to use a second
light, so your little speed light, so this is
just a Flashpoint Zoom Lithium Li-on speed
light, just pop this around the back.
I want to be careful that it doesn't
actually hit the back of Beth I'm going
to aim this at the background like that.
Let's take a shot like that, see how that
goes
Here we go, now that looks really good, but
maybe it's not bright enough!
Well I can actually change the power of
the speed light remotely, using the remote
control and get a bit brighter here we go!
I think maybe that's just a little bit
too bright, so I think in the end I'm
going to go somewhere in the middle. That
just helps to separate that out from the
background and give this a bit more
depth to the image.
Ok so that's the basic step. Lets take some pictures.
Brilliant, ok there we go, so we got some
nice little shots there. We had some nice
little things set up, some props for Beth
to interact with that worked really well.
But I reckon there is another shot, if, we just
rotate everything 90 degrees. Now that's just
going to take a moment. Hang on their.. Beth if you
would step out for me.
For the second set up what I've done is
I've literally just taking the entire
set turned it 90 degrees, but you will
notice one thing has changed. It's the
background. I've swapped from the black
background to the gray background. Now
the only reason I've done that, is
because I'm working in a small home
studio, and space is at a premium, and I
don't have any room to get a second
flash in there and separate out the
light. So to make sure that the
background doesn't go pure heavy black I've
gone for a grey rather than black.
That's the only difference, however in
moving things around I've lost a bit of
water, so we'll just add a bit more water
onto the background. There we go
I'm going to shoot this in a different
direction. So where before I was shooting
this way I'm going to turn myself 90
degrees as well, so I'm going to shoot from
the side, and have a sort of glancing
shot down through the side here. Now in
order to get this to work, I want a
shallower depth of field, because shooting
at this angle is really going to lend
itself to a shallow depth of field. We'll
have some in focus and out-of-focus
areas, that means I need to re-meter
this light to f/2.8, which is as wide open
as this lens will go. Let's just check the
meter reading for that, here we go,
and that is f/2.2 so it almost there.
we just need to pop it up slightly f/2.8
Ok, so correct exposure. Beth are you ready? Let's
take a few shots like this. So Beth I'd like you to
look out the window, that's it.
Brilliant! Ok, so there we go, we've
got some great photos there, This was a
really simple but so effective technique.
Now to make this really work as a
window, we got a little bit of photoshop
work to do, and I'm going to do that
right now. There's really only one thing missing from
my fake window, and that's the outside
world, because when it didn't exist it
was a fake window in a small home studio!
That's what I'm going to add in
Photoshop - the outside world, and to do it
you can use the most any image.
Let me show you what I mean, so this is
the picture I want to add in my
reflection of the outside world, and this
is the outside world, I want to add it.
Now, it doesn't have to be this image but
this is a previous AdoramaTV, where I did
a 15 minute photo challenge.. in this
location. I kind of thought it'd be good to
use it again now! The first thing I'm
going to do - is just go to select, and all
and then go over to edit and copy, so
this gets copied into the computer
memory, go back to the main image and
choose edit again and this time paste.
Now when I paste it it's going to fit
perfectly, because they were taken with
the same camera. But it doesn't really
allow me to see through it because I
need to change the layer blending mode.
So over here on the right-hand side
where it says normal, I drop that down.
I'm going to find screen, and screen is
going to be the blending mode that's
going to make the magic happen. Now this
stage it still doesn't look quite right.
So let's come over to the opacity and
on the opacity going to drop it down
probably two roundabout 30 to
40%... something like that.
Now at this point, you could stop here
because in a way it does kind of look a
bit like a reflection, but for me just a
bit too sharp, a bit too defined and my
reflection needs to be a lot blurrier, and this
is why you can use almost any image
whatsoever.
Let's have a look.. so I'm going to come
back to my menu at the top and choose
filter and then I'm going to come down
to blur and Gaussian blur.
I'm going to blur this a lot, and I do
mean a lot, the more I blur it the less
distinct it becomes, I don't see that
line here for example, I could keep it in,
there is no reason why not, but i think I just
want to sort of a generic blurry mess, so
probably something at around about s
the 80's I think ... 70 to 80...
that looks fine. I'll click ok, and that
gives me that lovely misty blur that's a
reflection. But it's not a reflection, I
could even perhaps just drop the opacity
ever so slightly lower, just to bring
that down, so it doesn't affect but it's
not overly clear what it does. So that's
without, and that's with. Then you can
see how that just makes it feel a lot
more like a real window, because that's
how real glass windows work, and there you
go! There's my final rainy day picture
completed. I'm really pleased with how
that came out, and it was incredibly
simple to do. What we needed was a bit of
water and a sheet of perspex. Now if you want to see

New video series launching next week and I NEED YOUR HELP! - Duration: 2:31.
Ok! Let's chat, shall we?
So I've had this idea, I've had it for a
while actually, of trying to find a way
to combine my vlogs with my more sit-down
parenting-y kind of videos. To enable us
to have conversations about parenting
and motherhood and just raising kids
and life in general, that's more caj. So we
can have conversations about more of the
things that are important to you. So....
Drumroll please!
It's not that exciting. Maybe doesn't require a drumroll.... BUT
I am going to start a new Q&A series starting next week
that I'm going to call "Coffee with Kelly." Just a
super caj Q&A answering those
questions, giving my take of things that
are on your mind. So whether it be
bedtime battles or tantrums or dawdling or
whining... All the things! I just want to
talk about all the things. Soooo, keep an
eye. Next week I'm going to have my very
first "Coffee with Kelly" Q&A and I would
love to hear from you! I would love to
know what's on your mind and we can just
chat about it. So leave your questions
in the comments below or I'll leave the
link, you can email me if you don't want
to put it in the comments. Or you can
also use the hashtag #coffeewithkelly
across social media. You can tweet at me or
tag your Instagram posts if you're having
a particularly stressful day -- or not
stressful -- if you just want to celebrate

Remberth Alonso Falla Zuloeta sobre el Liderazgo - Duration: 8:02.
...sobre el liderazgo
In the second place, we have to show ourselves as near, welcoming, not be distant,
close to the people;
and understand that every person in the Vincentian Family, like any person in the world, has a "process"
Always there has been someone beside me;
and this is vital, for whatever leader.
God bless. You, too.

Less than half of backseat passengers in Korea don't wear seatbelts: report - Duration: 1:53.
You need to buckle up even if you're at the backseat of the car.
Failure to do so could have dire consequences, yet... not everyone's following that prescription.
Lee Ji-won brings us this life-saving reminder for the millions of Koreans part of the mass
seollal exodus.
One of Korea's biggest holidays, Lunar New Year, or Seol, is when Korea sees one of its
highest car accident rates.
But what's even more concerning is that not even half the people in the backseat wear
a seatbelt, which can greatly increase the chance that minor accidents could become fatal
ones.
According to the Samsung Traffic Safety Research Institute on Thursday, only 48-point-3-percent
of backseat passengers in Korea wear seatbelts.
This is a great improvement compared to last year's 25-point-7-percent,... but is still
significantly lower than the figures for other countries.
Many people simply aren't aware of the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt, nor are they used
to putting one on in the back seat.
"We have no choice but to wear a seatbelt in the front seat because an alarm goes off,...
but it's not like that for the back seat,... and it's really bothersome to be honest."
"Not many people are used to wearing a seatbelt in the back seat... and people somehow have
the idea that it's safe in the back seat."
In fact, a passenger's risk of dying in a car accident rises 3-point-7 times if they're
in the back seat and not wearing a seatbelt, while it's 2-point-8 times for passengers
without a seatbelt in the front seat.
"When the seatbelt is not worn, there is a chance the passenger could bounce around the
car or go through a window in an accident,... leading to severe injuries."
The expert said that it's crucial for children ages 6 and under to be seated in a car seat
with a seatbelt at all times.

6 Human Character Flaws (That Saved Humanity) - Duration: 10:07.
Your mom always told you to eat right.
Lay off the booze.
Take a bath.
Lovely advice, right?
But scientists say if our ancestors had followed it, we'd probably still be hanging out in
the forest munching chiggers off each other's backs.
It turns out that some of our bad habits came about for a reason, and to become nature's
biggest winners, we first had to act like a bunch of losers.
Here are Six Human Character Flaws That Saved the Species.
NUMBER SIX: BAD HYGIENE
Ever stop to wonder why humans don't have fur?
Scientists have; after all, humans are one of the few mostly hairless mammals on the
planet.
It's not a minor point; our hairlessness is a big reason human civilization even exists.
Without that natural insulation of fur covering us, we had to create clothing, and groups
living in different areas produced varying levels of pigmentation to protect their exposed
skin from the sun, leading to the development of our various races.
Oh, and the need to keep warm may have also contributed to our ancestors learning one
other mildly important skill: making fire.
So how did we wind up as the hairless monkeys we are today?
We were filthy.
Yes, one leading theory is that we did such a horrible job keeping our fur clean, parasites
became rampant.
Particularly body lice we picked up from gorillas (don't judge, the Pleistocene period was a
crazy, experimental time).
So eventually, not having fur for the little dudes to nest in became an evolutionary advantage,
and hairless offspring became the norm.
It was certainly better than, you know, washing.
So if you've ever worn an outfit purely made up of the only items of clean clothing you
had left, or gone to the laundromat in your pajamas because all of your clothes were so
dirty you didn't think they were medically safe to wear (Yeah, you know who you are),
it's time to stop feeling bad.
NUMBER FIVE: GLUTTONY Obesity is the plague of the Western world—here,
meaning any place where you can purchase fried chicken filled donuts.
Obviously we know why people want to eat.
In addition to filling emotional voids, it gives us the energy to go on living.
But why would humans have evolved to crave fat and grease even if our brain knows it
will kill us?
If evolution's so smart, why don't we hate deep-fried chocolate cake?
Well, speaking of that big brain of yours, you have it thanks to gluttony.
Specifically high fat and high calorie food.
There are plenty of animals that eat simple, healthy, plant-based diets, and for the most
part, they don't tend to be particularly bright.
Like vegans!
(Kid History) Most of the planet's sharper animals are,
like humans, essentially scavengers.
A certain amount of intelligence and long-term memory is required to remember which berries
are a tasty treat and which will make you upchuck your intestines.
But what vaulted humans above and beyond competing animals like rats, to the point that we build
the cities and they have to crawl through our sewers?
Fat.
What we did better than them was discover ways to cram our fat faces with the richest,
fattiest foods mother nature had to offer.
We used tools to crack open animal bones and skulls to get to the greasy bone marrow and
brains, and if we could have deep-fried the animals we caught, we would have.
Our large, juicy brains are really all that sets us apart, and they consume a huge amount
of energy.
The kind of energy that could only be provided by big fatty slabs of animal flesh.
Experts believe that only the relentless stuffing of our faces with the ancient equivalent of
fried cheese kept us going as a brainy species.
So laugh at the fat guy chowing down on buffalo wings all you want, but he's the reason your
brain is complex enough to realize how hilarious he is.
NUMBER FOUR: DRUNKENNESS While we're no prohibitionists, you have to
admit you get a lot less done on those days you come to work drunk.
It's a good thing our ancestors didn't have hooch around, or they'd have been too drunk
to run from those saber-toothed tigers, right?
After all, isn't alcohol a byproduct of our decadent modern civilization?
(whistle while I work it) Well believe it or not, without alcohol, there's
a good chance modern civilization would never have happened.
First of all, scientists suspect that humans have been boozehounds since our earliest days
when we looked like something you'd hire an exterminator to chase out of your attic.
Human beings have been getting tanked for ages.
But that just means somehow we survived despite our drunkenness, right?
Actually, some researchers think it goes way beyond that.
Human beings only truly started to thrive once we developed agriculture, as it allowed
us to settle down and start multiplying like catholic bunnies.
And while a guy out on his own could maybe grow enough grain to feed himself and his
family, to grow enough grain so that you have excess to brew beer with, well, that takes
a lot of people working together.
That takes a village.
This is why when you look back at Sumer, aka the very first actual civilization in human
history, you find they used half of their grain for beer.
Beer was something you just couldn't get as a roaming solitary nomad.
For ancient man, beer was nothing short of a wonderful promise of what civilized human
life could be, distilled into liquid form.
Sorry, I teared up there for a second.
NUMBER THREE: REFUSING TO GROW UP
There are few quicker ways to get under a person's skin than to call them childish.
And there aren't many things you can do to annoy strangers more than whining, or throwing
tantrums, but, once again, refusing to grow up turns out to be another cornerstone of
human evolution.
Take that, Dad! (youre so immature clip) Human childhoods are unique in that we're
born with a massive brain and wriggling vestigial bodies, that grow slowly and don't really
change significantly until puberty.
While most animals put all their energy towards quickly growing adult-like bodies, humans
instead spend our early years strengthening the pathways in our brains and absorbing information.
Our species' unique ability to pass information and knowledge from one generation to the next
is because humans essentially spend like 20 years in the nest before being asked to function
as an adult--an absurdly long time in the animal kingdom.
And even then, there is college tuition, weddings and their old room again after the divorce.
That reluctance to go out into the world you see in so many 20-somethings is left over
from an instinct that has served us very well.
YouTube: Validating man-children using science since 2005.
NUMBER TWO: GOSSIP If you could find the guy who invented gossipy
office politics, and get him in the same room with the guy who invented celebrity gossip
magazines, which one would you shoot first?
Of course, both of those inventions come from the same cause: our terrible desire to know
every awful detail of the people around us.
All of us say we hate gossip, but man…the moment somebody offers to tell us about the
the girl in the next cubicle used to be a go-go dancer, we are all ears.
And so were our ancestors.
It's a good thing, too.
What we now consider the nastiest use of language may be the very thing that caused it to evolve.
And here's where it gets weird: To survive, primates had to form groups (to
keep away predators, obviously).
Most primate societies today top out at around 50 members, and they have a strict social
structure that isn't found elsewhere in the animal kingdom.
Humans rose above and beyond those small groups to the point that we can keep track of up
to 150 other humans before our brains get overloaded (you may have heard this theory
referred to as Dunbar's Number).
It was the forming of these bigger groups that set us apart.
How did we manage it?
By inventing gossip.
The first uses of our more complex language (originally probably developed to coordinate
hunting) was to sit around the campfire and exchange information about the ones who weren't
there, behind their backs.
That use of language--that sharing of juicy secrets about who was sick, or dying, or who
was mating with who--let us gather information about other members of the group who don't
happen to be present.
This is what the other animals could not do, and it let us create the kind of complex societies
other species can barely understand.
Wait, it gets weirder.
Ever wonder why women seem to talk--and gossip--more than men?
Some think it's because while the males were out hunting, it was the females who did the
gossiping around the campfire.
The Flintstones had it right, AGAIN.
And of course, all of that gossiping leads to...
NUMBER ONE: SOCIAL ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
At the beginning of this article we said obesity was the plague of modern man.
But it seems to be neck and neck with depression.
But you know by now that it's going to turn out even the sulking goth cavemen served a
purpose.
The deal is, our brains are about six times too big for an animal our size.
It has to do with all of that "talking around the campfire" stuff we mentioned above.
The real purpose of our huge leap in intelligence was to help us figure out those increasingly
large, complex social groups.
In other words, trying to navigate the perils of the lunchroom at school probably stimulates
your mind more than any of your classes ever will.
Studying the skulls of our ancestors, scientists have found disproportionate growth in the
parts of our brains used to construct mental simulations.
Being able to play out different situations in your mind and predict possible outcomes
is not just essential to surviving the social jungle, it's also the basis of all problem
solving.
Basically, every scientific or creative breakthrough in human history can trace its roots to some
sweaty palmed caveman sitting alone in his hut fretting about whether the other cavemen
think he's cool.
So what does have to do with depression?
(brain neurology clip) Well, some speculate that depression evolved
as a way to cope, to make people separate themselves from the group in times of stress,
so they could try to simulate a solution to their problems in peace.
When all those connections to other members of the tribe overloaded the brain, the brain
would shut them off until we could get our act together, while sulking in the corner
of the hut.
So yeah, if your teenager's being an angsty little punk, don't worry, he's actually
contributing the betterment of the human race.
And if he's filthy, drunk and eating an entire bucket of fried chicken, wull dang.
He's about to evolve into a new species.

19 Qualities of a Great CEO - Duration: 27:45.
In America, for less than $200, you can go get any business registered at the City Hall
and call yourself a CEO.
You can even get a business card and call yourself a CEO and give your business card
away and say, "Man, I'm a CEO."
But you know when you're a real CEO?
When hundreds of other people call you a CEO.
Because you've earned the right for other people to see you as a CEO.
So today, today, before you become a CEO, one must act, behave, walk, talk, think like
a CEO before you become a CEO.
Way before I became a CEO, I worked on thinking like a CEO, walking like a CEO, asking myself
how I'd make a decision like a CEO, and then I became a CEO.
And then once I was called a CEO years later, other people started seeing me as a CEO.
Then the rest was history.
So, today, qualities of a great CEO.
And I'm telling this from a lot of my personal mistakes on what can help you out for one
day being a CEO and maybe one day you aspire to become a great CEO, but regardless of whether
you plan on becoming a great CEO or not, you're going to learn a lot of things you can do
to help yourself with your leadership abilities.
So I have 19 different points to give you, and I'll get right into it.
Point #1: Great CEOs know how to manage their ego.
Let me explain.
Nobody becomes a CEO who doesn't have an ego.
Nobody.
Not a single soul becomes a CEO who doesn't have an ego.
Nobody becomes the President of the United States without being a little bit mentally
off to believe you have the best processor to make decisions.
You've got somewhat of an ego.
Right?
So you've got to realize, people who don't have egos don't want to be presidents.
So there's nothing wrong with having a big ego.
But you've got to learn how to manage your own ego, because if you don't control your
ego, you're definitely in trouble.
Let me explain why.
When you become very successful, and you start making a lot of money, and everybody knows
you and you have fame and all this other stuff, there's something that happens.
And let me tell you what that one thing is.
It's called you are flooded with compliments.
You are flooded with compliments.
Let me give you the compliments.
Oh, you're so amazing.
You're so ridiculously good.
Oh, you're better than this.
Oh, you're better than that."
And so many people are going to feed you this stuff because you're surrounded by people
that are afraid of the decisions you could make to fire them, so everybody wants to tell
you how amazing you are, right?
Let me tell you, 90% of it is lies.
I just want you to know that.
Because most people are not going to tell you what you need to hear.
If you have a small circle of people around you that are telling you the truth, you need
that.
Because that's going to help you manage your ego.
If you no longer talk to the guys that tell you off, and are not afraid to tell you things
you need to hear - and I'm talking about a small board that you have, or mentors that
you have that are willing to sit with you and tell you otherwise, you're going to be
in trouble.
I've seen this happen in sales many times.
I've been dealing with sales people for a long time.
They start making money.
Everybody starts telling them how amazing they are.
They're no longer coachable, not willing to learn.
They don't listen to anything.
They know every single thing because they already know it.
They forgot how to manage their own ego.
Now that's step number one.
Let me tell you step number two of a great CEO.
They have a way of finally realizing that they need to get a touch of humility in them.
Here's why.
You know why humility helps?
Because other people want to work with you.
If you don't have humility, you can't bring people together.
If you don't have humility, people who disagree with you won't want to do business with you.
If you don't have humility, you can't have an environment with a lot of different personalities.
Because they have to be in a certain set of personalities to be able to work with you.
Humility is extremely needed.
Point number three.
CEOs are extremely driven.
What I did last week, can you give me that packet right there, the bag right there.
Just give me the whole bag.
So, I brought, all the, [Edgar, you can say hi to everybody.
This is Edgar, a new teammate of ours for about a month and a half.]
So, two weeks ago I invited some of the biggest insurance companies in the world, CEOs, all
these different people showed up.
We took them to a nice dinner, at Capital Grill, in Dallas, at Cresent, which is my
favorite building in the world is the Cresent.
The last five years I wrote a book.
It's a fiction book.
It's my first fiction book I've ever written.
The entire book was inspired by this building, The Cresent.
The setting is at a building that looks like The Cresent.
So we had dinner at the Capital Grill and I brought up to dinner, and normally in the
insurance industry, they pay for our dinner.
I paid for everybody.
That's not a cheap dinner, a few thousand dollars.
Then the following day, The Cresent has a 17th floor, it's a club, where President Bush
goes and other presidents - many different presidents, both on the left and right have
been to this club.
And there's a lot of strong billionaires, oil people that go over here.
I rented the entire room, and I took them over there.
We had lunch.
From 8:00 in the morning till noon, I presented to them with the 2017 vision.
When we had this meeting, and it's a room filled with a lot of egos, full of a lot of
egos, and everybody is products - we sell their products.
And they're all multi-billion dollar companies, ranging from a $10 billion company to a $300
billion company, they're all in the room, and we're presenting all this stuff that I'm
sharing with all these guys.
This is how the meeting got started, the first thing.
I said, "I got a gift for you."
Typically, these meetings start in a different way.
But I got a surprise for you.
I said, first, we need to realize that ego is the enemy, and we all need to set aside
our ego.
If we don't lead with humility, and we lead purely with ego, nothing's going to get done.
If you're willing to set aside your egos, we're willing to set aside our egos.
Hopefully we can do something big together.
This doesn't mean I'm going to stop negotiating.
Because I'm going to ask for a bigger contract, but this [ego] needs to be set aside.
It's as simple as that.
I gave it to everybody.
We laughed, we had fun.
They enjoyed it.
Then I gave them the next hat here.
And this hat, doesn't say "Make America Great Again."
Obviously, we're trying to have some humor with these guys.
It says "Make Insurance Cool Again."
Make Insurance Cool Again.
The reason why I gave them these hats is because there's nothing cool about life insurance.
If you've ever been to a life insurance traditional convention, with all these insurance companies
go to, it's pretty bad, when you go to it.
So we gave them this hat, everybody starts laughing, and we took a picture, everybody
took a picture again, together, and I said, "We've got to make insurance cool again."
What's the likelihood of doing that?
It's very difficult for a lot of other people, but we're doing it.
We made it cool.
Millennials love working for our firm.
We have multi-culture, the average agent in our company is a 34-year-old Hispanic female,
while America right now is struggling to get Hispanics, multiculturals, and millennials
and gen x-ers to become agents.
And we're very good at that.
So I gave them this hat.
And everyone starts laughing.
The next thing we gave them, was a phone charger.
The phone charger said, "Every single time you charge your phone, I want you to think
about that we're going to power up the entire industry.
That's what we're going to be doing.
So next time you charge your phone, think about us.
Because we're probably out there growing the industry."
And last but not least what I gave them was the following.
Here's what I gave them.
We gave them two cigars, Romeo and Julietta, okay, two cigars.
And the reason why we got them these two cigars for them, I said the following.
I said, Look, in business, sometimes, we end up spending more time, with people, we're
in business with, than our own family.
Because that's just kind of how business works.
You're traveling and doing all these other stuff.
I said, "It's even greater if you can enjoy doing business with people that you enjoy
being in business with."
And I said, "I hope we can take our business relationship from what it is today to a friendship
by sharing many different cigars together so you and I can get to know each other so
we make tens of millions of dollars together, but at the same time we establish a relationship
with you as well.
Are you open to that?"
Yes.
Then we kicked off the meeting.
That's how the meeting got started.
Now why am I telling you this?
Here's why I'm telling you this.
We're extremely driven.
Everybody in that room is driven.
Everybody's got ego.
But we have to figure out a way to set aside the ego and manage this [humility] and lead
with this for everybody else to open up and say, fair enough, let's do business together.
This is one of the things that a CEO typically has to start with a lot of this [ego], because
this is what survives, and you just want to kill everybody and compete and all this stuff,
and then you realize, sometimes you're killing your own allies.
These are your friends you're killing.
You know how sometimes you play those video games and you kill the wrong person and you
lose?
You're killing your own allies.
That's not smart.
Because your ego.
We need to lead with this [humility] and you need to know how to manage your ego, while
still being driven, while still knowing you're going to be dealing with a lot of other driven
people.
#4: Care for their people.
Great CEOs care for their people.
If you ask any of the CEOs, like I got a call the other day from a guy I worked with a long
time ago.
His name ______________.
Let me tell you what he called me and told me.
He called me and he and I were speaking about something on the private side.
I haven't talked to this guy for the longest time and I was mentoring him way, way, way
many years ago.
He was like family.
I protected this guy.
I looked over him.
I wanted to make sure he had a very good life and enjoyed himself.
I enjoyed the company of his mom, dad, sister, everybody with his family.
Now, certain things happened.
He called me.
He said, "Pat, every single time I make a decision, I say the following.
I say, what would Patrick so in this situation?
Some of the best times I had in business was working with you.
I haven't learned as much as I learned, except when I was working with you."
Let me tell you why it's so important to care for people.
I got another call from a guy named Danny.
I won't tell his last name, Danny.
He called me in tears.
He called me a year and a half ago, and he was in tears.
He said, you have no idea how reluctant I've been about calling you because it's been a
decade."
I said, "Danny, what's going on?" because it's been a decade.
I remember everything, the people that worked for me, I know their stories, because I care
for the people, I know their stories.
And he said to me, "Pat, I got to tell you something, man."
He's quiet and I'm like why is this guy crying?
I haven't talked to you for 10 years.
He said, "I'm now the president of the bank I work at.
I'm doing very well.
I am married.
I am so happy I can't even tell you.
I'm making a multi six-figure a year income.
And I'm here to tell you, everything I'm putting in this leadership position, is the stuff
I learned when I was working in the business with you."
You may be watching this and you're in Malaysia.
You're in Brazil.
You and I will never meet each other.
The possibility of us meeting each other may be never, right?
But you may realize that the only way you will be called a great CEO is if you realize
the most important product you will ever have as a CEO is the people around you.
If you forget that, you're in deep doo doo.
Let me tell you.
They make you look good.
Without them, you're not existent.
So if you think the world revolves around you as a CEO, you're in deep trouble.
Without them, nothing happens.
And by the way, there's fake care, and people can tell.
And there's real sincerity, and authenticity, about you truly caring about the people around
you.
By the way, most people know how to read through the BS.
You truly got to care about your people.
So ask yourself, how often do you care about your people?
Do you think about their dreams, their goals, what they want their purpose to become a reality.
Are you thinking from that standpoint?
If you are, you're going to end up becoming a pretty solid CEO one day.
Number 5.
Human nature.
You've got to study human nature.
Why human nature?
Great CEOs understand human nature because they realized a very, very long time ago their
number one product is not technology.
I was at a Dallas Cowboys game.
They lost to the Packers.
Tough game, man, let me tell you.
We were at the game, we had box seats.
We were with this technology guy and doing a bit of negotiation with them and the CEO
of this company they did about $100 million last year.
So, Tom, asked them a question about, hey, how long have you been coding?
He said, "I've never coded in my life."
Wait a minute, we cut a massive check to you, and you've never coded?"
He said, "I've never coded in my life.
Him, and the biz dev guy have never coded in their life.
But they were both good in one thing.
Human nature.
Human nature.
Because the number one product is not coding.
The number one product is not insurance, annuities, all this other stuff.
By the way, if you're a CEO and you know your products very well, you got an edge on everybody.
So don't take this for a moment for you to say, well, thank God, because I know nothing
about my product.
I'm not giving you an out.
So don't take the out there.
Hang on.
Come back here.
You've got to learn the product.
But the number one product of all, is human nature.
You got to know what happens when people are down, why this person's not all in, why this
person's being a little bit forgetful, what's in the personal life.
You've got to take them out to lunch and talk to them and say, "Is everything okay?
How's your wife doing?
Are the kids good?"
This is all the stuff you got to know about.
Because it's relationships.
Business is purely relationships.
#6, comfortable handling contradictions.
This is very difficult for a lot of people.
Let me explain.
So any time I try to develop somebody into becoming a CEO or an entrepreneur, somebody
that's running their own business, they're so like, I'm a black and white type of person.
And it's the only way I do business, black and white.
I'm like listen, I wish life was black and white.
But life is not black and white.
Life is blue sometimes, it's white sometimes, it's black sometimes.
Sometimes it's pink, green, purple, sometimes it's colorful.
Sometimes it's very weird.
So if you go into business expecting just black and white, you're going to miss out
on 80% of the opportunities.
There are some gray areas in business and it's about learning how to deal with contradictions.
What am I talking about with contradictions?
On one side, one can say, hard work!
You got to work hard to go out there and be successful.
100% true.
The key is working smart to become successful.
And these guys may be true.
Sometimes people say no, it's only about working hard.
No, it's only about working smart.
Of course you need to work smart and have tools.
But if I got a guy that knows how to work hard and manage his energy and his health,
and he knows how to work smart by having the right tools and people around him, he's going
to kick the other guy's but that only thinks about working hard or only thinking about
working smart.
So you got to learn that there's a lot of contradictions in life and in business.
"Success, happiness is about living a balanced life."
Okay, okay.
I mean, what is so balanced about being pregnant and having a kid, and 24/7 a woman all they
have to think about is pregnancy.
Nursing.
We have several, I'm okay with people that want to bring their kids here to work.
They're pumping milk all day long.
So what is the balanced life about it when you're nursing the kid seven, eight times
a day and they're pooping.
Your life is not balanced.
Let me explain to you, one of the biggest highs is having a kid.
"But life is about being balanced, right?"
You got a person that's chasing to win a championship, a Super Bowl, plays in a movie six months
they're shooting, it's not a balanced life.
So what is balance?
Is this like certain balance is supposed to be 9-5.
You got to know how to live with contradictions as a CEO and you got to dance with contradictions.
And don't be stiff when you're dancing with contradictions.
Just kind of dance with contradictions and be okay with it when you're dealing with contradictions
because if you don't, you're going to have a lot of anxiety attacks and you're going
to be having a lot of migraines if you try to control all these contradictions.
Number 7.
They think outside the box.
Solid CEOs, they think outside the box.
It's not always one way of doing anything.
They think outside the box.
They regularly think outside the box.
One of the videos I did on thinking outside the box is how to think big as an entrepreneur,
that's a video you ought to watch.
It has to do a little bit with how to think outside the box.
But they don't just look at one thing and say, "we have to do this, this, this, this."
They're very good at looking at this and saying, you know, connect the dot, I think it's.
. . Yeah, I never thought about that.
Yeah, it's this.
We need to focus on this.
We've never done this before.
And they're willing to think a little bit different than most people would think.
#8, they have a reputation.
Let me explain to you what I mean by a reputation.
They can't be pushed around by competitors.
Typically strong CEOs, I was watching this one president of a company and he went up
there and he was being pushed around by Elizabeth Warren.
And this was a financial firm company I was watching.
And she was just pushing him and pushing him.
And I'm sitting there saying, where is your spine?
Stand up already!
It wasn't Wells Fargo.
I said, stand up already!
Stand up for your industry!
You're making everybody look like they're doing something wrong.
Have some backbone.
Say something!
He's just sitting there like this, shaking.
Because he's worried about his $6 million bonus.
Say something already!
He's no longer the president.
I wouldn't have him as a president.
Voice your opinion a little bit.
You can't be a CEO representing the industry and you don't have a backbone to share your
thoughts and opinions because you're worried about regulators and the government.
You've got to say stuff a little bit.
I'm not talking about being disrespectful.
But you can't just sit there and take it all the time.
A CEO can't be pushed around.
You can't bully a CEO.
They stand up.
One of the most respectable CEOs I ever met was named Bob Benmosche.
We established a relationship together.
At a conference in 2015, I will never forget he died that night during our awards ceremony,
he had died that night.
The was the former CEO of MetLife.
He retires, very wealthy, goes to Croatia, which is my favorite place in the world, and
he buys a vineyard.
And all he does is make wine.
And one day his son is over there, and it's 2008.
AIG's about to go bankrupt.
I'm having dinner with the CEO of AIG, David Herzog and they call him.
They said, we need you to help us out.
He said, "I'm not coming."
They said, we need you to help us out.
He said, "Look, I'm good.
He has three years to live.
He's got cancer.
He's dying.
He's got three years to live.
AIG calls him.
Bob Benmosche gets up, out of retirement, is on his death bed, three years to live.
On steroids all the time because he's dying.
He gets out of retirement, comes to AIG, starts working, promotes David Herzog, believe from
American General from AIG CFO, they go to the government, they ask for $183 billion
check.
And when I'm having dinner, I'll never forget.
They said, every day we were getting hounded by regulators about our debt.
Finally, Bob Benmosche calls.
Hey, this money we took from you, we're not GM.
We're going to pay you back.
You're not going to bully us on a daily basis.
I'm going to tell you right now, not a single call.
I'm going to let you know exactly what we're doing, but not one more single call.
Whoa.
Bob Benmosche comes, sells off all the companies they didn't need.
Some of them he held a little bit longer to sell.
AIG's a very big company.
He pays back $183 billion plus another $23 billion in interest or so.
Then he pays that back.
GM still hasn't paid back.
So many other people haven't paid back.
AIG paid back.
AIG's credibility comes back in the marketplace.
Six months after that, he died.
It was a Friday night when this man died.
And all I remember about Bob Benmosche, every time he and I were together, all I remember
is a man with presence, with leadership, with backbone, that people wanted to follow.
He wasn't liked all the time.
But there's one thing everybody knew.
If that dude's at the helm, he's leading it as a CEO - you're going to be fine.
He's a general, the way he led the company.
And not everybody has his personality.
But generally strong CEOs, they can't be pushed around.
Next, number nine.
They're great at asking questions.
They're great at asking questions.
When they don't understand something, they're going to ask questions.
When they want to find the deeper issues, they know how to ask the right questions.
A lot of times people don't ask the right questions.
You can ask questions, but then it's asking the right questions, that gets the right answer,
that solves the bigger problem, not the smaller problem.
Great CEOs are very good at asking the right questions.
Study great CEOs on what questions they generally ask and you'll tell yourself, man, I was thinking
about the surface.
This guy's thinking here [deep].
These are the questions I want to be asking about.
That's what you want to be thinking about.
Number 10, they want feedback.
What do you think?
What are your thoughts?
What do you think about this?
What do you think about that?
And they know who to get the right feedback from, and they're constantly asking for feedback.
Number 11, they raise standards.
They're always raising standards.
It's uncomfortable being around strong CEOs, great CEOs.
They're always raising standards.
Most people believe it or not, don't even like working with great CEOs.
Because it's not comfortable.
It's always raising standards.
Almost a feeling of it's not enough.
It's not enough.
It's not enough.
We're not there yet.
We're not there yet.
It's always a standard.
"Every time I get somewhere, you move the marker."
That's the job of a leader.
"Every time I feel like I go, you move it a little bit more.
When are you going to be fully happy?"
That's what makes them so special.
That's why history books are going to favor Bob Benmosche and when he died, a bunch of
people go and buy his book because they wanted to know what made him so special to save AIG
from a major debacle or major issue that we're going to be facing.
Right?
Because they know how to raise everyone's standards.
I remember when in Napa Valley, and Bob Benmosche walks in, and there's a meeting going on,
everybody in that room that reported to him was uncomfortable.
It was so funny just watching everybody.
They were uncomfortable, because he was a leader.
He raised the standards.
He told everybody, here's how the meeting to started, and he had just become a CEO three
months ago.
He said "This Napa Valley thing," he told everybody, this is not going to happen for
six years.
We got money to pay back.
We got money to pay back.
That's how he started the meeting.
This stuff, not happening anymore.
We got money to pay back.
And he looked at all of us and he says, hey, we know we haven't been good, but we need
your business.
We need your business.
We need you to work with us.
We need your business.
Flat out.
I've got a lot of respect for a man that talks like that, and is very open about it.
Number 12, they build strong alliances.
Remember when I talked about humility?
They build very strong alliances, because look, you can only go somewhere, so far, by
yourself.
Amazon, if you read Amazon's case study from Harvard, if you type in Amazon case study,
and you type in Amazon, Toys R Us, if you study what Amazon did in '01, if Amazon doesn't
build an alliance with Toys R Us, forget about Amazon.
There is no Amazon.
He gets credit for what he did with Toys R Us.
So how did he do that?
Building strong alliances.
How did Steve Jobs, when he was about to go out of business, go to Microsoft, Bill Gates,
his biggest enemy and the meeting starts like this - we have been under this impression
that in order for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose.
He says this in his talk.
Just type in Steve Jobs, speech, Microsoft has to lose.
He says this.
He says that's not true.
He had to go to Bill Gates and say, "I need $300 million."
Bill Gates, his biggest enemy gives him $300 million but imagine if he doesn't build that
alliance.
They're out of business.
Everybody in Silicon Valley, Palo Alto's saying a guy from here went to Seattle to raise money
from the enemy.
That's called building an alliance.
Today you and I use our iPhone or all these other great devices because somebody was strong
at building alliances.
Number 13.
They speak different languages.
What do I mean by that?
I'm not talking English, Spanish, I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about they speak different languages.
Let me elaborate.
They know how to talk to employees different than the way they talk to executives, different
than the way they talk to salespeople, different than the way they talk to investors.
Different than the way they talk to media, different than the way they talk to their
family, different.
. . They know how to speak these dif - and let me tell you.
It ain't the same language.
It is not the same language.
You cannot go talk to the front desk clerk at a company that you're the CEO and then
talk to that person as if that person's a full on executive.
You can't.
Because it's a different language.
So you got to know how to speak these different languages.
You can't go to an investor and just kind of be lollygagging with them, while they're
expecting returns on their tens of millions of dollars that they give you.
And I walk into these rooms, it's different conversations, regularly.
I did a video that's called seven different audiences CEOs talk to, I think it's seven
different audiences CEOs talk to.
Let's put the tab up here, Edgar make sure we put it up there, and the link on the bottom.
You have to watch this video.
It's seven different audiences a CEO speaks to.
That will help you out on understanding how they speak to those different customers.
Next, number 14.
They know their strengths, very well.
But guess what?
They know their weaknesses even more.
Here's why.
They're very comfortable being weak.
They're so comfortable being weak.
At least the great ones.
At least the great ones are very comfortable being weak.
Because what they do with the weakness is they recruit the weakness.
So whatever they're weak at, they bring somebody who's strength is in their weakness.
Simple.
And the sooner you identify your weaknesses, the sooner you're going to be able to leverage
your abilities to focus on your strengths and not have to worry about your weaknesses.
You can always recruit your weaknesses.
By the way, everyone's got weaknesses.
Focus on your strengths.
Next point, number 15.
They know what they know, and they know what they don't know.
Let me say it again.
They know what they know, and they know what they don't know.
Similar to weaknesses, but it's not.
Meaning, whatever they don't know, they know the person who can get them to the answer
of what they don't know.
It's simple.
If it's a question that's technical, ask this one.
I know who to call to get me the answers to stuff I don't know about.
And they're fine with it.
So they know what they know and they know what they don't know.
#16: They're very decisive, they make the decision, boom.
I had Tom the other day told me, Pat, when you want to fire somebody, it's like [snap]
that quick.
I said, I'm good.
The moment I know somebody doesn't fit in a, and I've seen a trend of three times, I'll
typically give someone three chances.
But if I notice somebody just is not fitting, and it happens like this [up and down] over
and over again, gone.
They have to go to a different place.
It's like a relationship.
That doesn't mean that person's a bad person.
They're not going to fit in a place like this.
Because for whatever reason this culture doesn't fit with that person, that constantly keeps
coming back.
That person may go to a completely different place and be happy.
Just not on this team.
We have a certain set of culture here that we have to follow through.
#17, timing.
Timing in business, timing in statements, timing in comments, timing in marketing campaigns,
timing in breaks, timing in initiatives, timing on stuff for the associates and employees,
and sales.
Everything's about timing.
They're very good at timing.
#18: They're very strong drivers.
If there's an initiative, they will be driving it over and over and over and over again,
until you do it.
They will drive the initiative nonstop.
That's what makes these guys special.
They drive.
They're going to drive the initiative.
And the moment you thought they forgot about them, they're about to give you a speech on
driving that initiative, why everybody should be focused on that.
They're nonstop drivers.
And 19, last point here, they're very good at rallying the troops.
They're very good at rallying the troops.
They know how to get the troops going.
If it's sales, if it's team, if it's home office, if it's support, they know how to
rally the troops.
So that's 19 different qualities of a great CEO.
And by the way, if you're watching this and saying, "Oh my gosh, I got a lot of work to
do.
All this stuff's going to take years.
Don't expect to be good at this overnight.
It's just good to look at it, and say I can improve in the following areas to become a
better CEO myself.
One day, where other people start looking at you as a CEO instead of just going out
there and paying a couple hundred dollars and getting a Vista Print business card just
to call yourself a CEO.
With that being said, if you've got any questions and thoughts, comment on the bottom.
If you have not subscribed to the greatest channel on YouTube for entrepreneurs, we need
you to subscribe to the greatest channel on entrepreneurs.
And we challenge you.
I'll put it out there to you.
I put it there out to you.
Go tweet and message anybody else and see if they can stack against our channel on YouTube
for entrepreneurs.
We're that comfortable in what we're doing.
We're constantly improving.
A lot of great initiatives that we've got coming out with here.
But there are a lot of channels that are purely about motivation and regurgitating the same
thing.
We want to make sure we bring you fresh content and we're just getting started.
Wait until you hear what's coming out here soon about stuff that's going to be just purely
innovative, that no one's ever done before, because we believe the world's a better place
the more entrepreneurs we can give birth to, the world just keeps becoming a better and
better place.
The more innovators, the more disrupters, this place keeps getting better and better
and better.
And we need your help to becoming a better entrepreneur.
And we need your help to spread the message of Valuetainment to other people.
So if you haven't subscribed, click on the button here.
And then right next to it you see the notification, to be one of the first to be notified every
time a new video comes out.
Good catch.
With that being said, thanks for watching everybody.
Take care.
Bye, bye.

Lethal Ninja Weapons You'll NEVER Want to Encounter - Duration: 11:10.
Ninjas: highly trained martial arts practitioners known for their skills in espionage, infiltrations,
and assassination.
Here we look at some of the most lethal weapons used by feudal Japan's deadly assassins.
Number 11: Kusarigama As if a sharp sickle and a heavy iron weight
were both not dangerous enough as separate weapons, the Japanese decided to combine those
two with a metal chain, giving birth to the kusarigama.
The deadly chain-sickle weapon was developed during the Muromachi era, and has its own
unique art of handling known as kusarigama-jutsu.
Ninjas would later come to adopt the weapon as part of their deadly arsenal.
The hybrid weapon compliments a specific type of fighting usually for use against an opponent
bearing a long weapon such as a sword or spear.
A kusarigama user would swing the weighted chain in a circle above his head, and then
quickly whip it forward to entangle his opponent's weapon rendering it unusable.
It could also be used to immobilize the enemy by entangling one of his limbs.
The kusarigama user would then lunge forward and strike down his incapacitated opponent
with the sickle end.
Apart from using the sickle, the weighted chain could also be used to directly strike
an opponent from a distance, while still outside their attack range.
With enough force, the iron weight could easily fracture bones.
Number 10: The Kakute Ring Kakute are small metal rings with spikes protruding
from it, worn as a finger ring.
These weapons are very much favored by the kunoichi, or female ninjas.
The reason is that kakute rings are simple to use, and are concealable as they look like
any other normal ring, but with spikes hidden inside the hand.
The weapon is obviously only used up close, but still, is very capable of delivering considerable
damage, especially towards non-suspecting enemies.
Apart from cutting someone's throat, the spikes could be used to hold onto an opponent or
choke them, and sometimes for climbing as well.
An expert and careful user would go as far as to have the kakute spikes coated in poison
so even a slight scratch could kill their target.
This weapon is one reason why you would want to avoid shaking hands with a ninja.
Number 9: Tekko-kagi Imagine brass knuckles, but with forward facing
iron nails like bear claws.
That's the tekko-kagi, a ninja weapon that has a close resemblance to the X-man Wolverine's
protruding adamantium claws.
The origin of the weapon was a rather peaceful one, as a tool for farmers to reap weeds.
But in the hands of a skilled ninja, the tekko-kagi becomes a lethal weapon.
The tool is multifunctional, and could be used to directly slash an opponent, to catch
and take over their weapon, and also as a shield for self-defense.
Usually it is used during missions where carrying large weapons just wasn't possible.
Ninjas would often wear two Tekko-kagis on both hands while in combat, making them appear
no less frightening and dangerous than wild bears and tigers.
Number 8: Neko Te If you think the tekko-kagi was scary enough,
then you should take a look at the neko-te.
It is also a claw like weapon, but worn like a glove, and with the blades protruding directly
from the ends of the fingers much like a cat's claws.
And that's exactly what the neko-te means in Japanese, "cat claws".
There is nothing subtle about the appearance of this weapon, and it looks exactly like
Freddy Krueger's bladed glove.
The neko-te was favored by the kunoichi, with the eyes and throat as favorite slashing targets
for these female ninjas.
Like other bladed ninja weapons, the neko-te nails are sometimes imbued with poison to
make sure the target is successfully killed.
Number 7: Metsubushi Metsubushis are the pepper sprays of the ninja
world.
The name translates to "crush the eyes", and is one thing a ninja's opponent should avoid
at all costs when in a fight.
The weapon could come in many forms, but are typically delivered from a small pipe that
can be blown at an enemy, or from an egg shell that can be thrown.
This results in the delivery of a special concoction of ashes, ground-up pepper, mud,
flour, and dirt into an opponent's eyes.
For extra damage, metal scrapings or broken shards of glass are sometimes also added.
While not lethal in itself, a victim would end up completely vulnerable to a follow-up
deadly blow, as they would be blinded and disoriented from the pain.
Metsubushi is also a perfect tool for ninjas to escape unwanted situations, as their blinded
pursuers would most definitely give up.
Number 6: Ninjato Many people know of the katana, the traditional
Japanese sword used by samurai during ancient and feudal times.
But ninjas also have their own version of the katana, known as ninjato.
Compared to the swords carried by the samurai, ninjato were smaller in size and more compact
in form.
The overall length is usually less than 60 cm, and is relatively thick and straight with
no curves.
The swords were either forged by ninjas on their own from slabs of steel, or were regular
long katanas that were cut and sharpened so they would end up in the right form and shape.
This results in a sword that is easier to carry and conceal, while still capable of
delivering swift and deadly attacks.
The swords could also be used somewhat like a ladder, where ninjas would stab them into
cliffs or walls, step on them, and retrieve them with a strap attached to the hilt.
The maneuver would be difficult if a curved sword like a regular katana was used.
Number 5: Fukiya The fukiya is a type of blowgun used in Japan.
The practice still exists today in modern Japan as a national sport similar to archery.
However, fukiya was known in the past as a ninja's weapon, with numerous ninjutsu schools
specializing in its use.
Ninjas would often fire two inch long poison darts, or fukibari, from a concealed location.
The dart itself is usually not enough to kill a target, but the poison would finish the
job.
The weapon is extremely affective for stealth kills at a long distance, as well as a form
of distraction.
Although it has a much shorter range than a typical bow and arrow, it has its own advantages.
The 50 cm long fukiya is easily concealable, and is often disguised as an innocent flute,
enabling disguised ninjas to sneak the weapon past guards.
Apart from its use as a weapon, the fukiya could also serve as a breathing pipe for hidden
ninjas submerged underwater.
Modern fukiya sport players are proof of how deadly the weapon could be in the past, as
experts could deliver very accurate shots at long distances.
We could easily say that the fukiya were the sniper rifles and silencers of feudal Japan.
Number 4: Sai Sai, the weapon familiar to those in the West
as the weapon of choice for Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the female assassin
Elektra from Marvel.
Traditionally used on the islands of Okinawa, the sai is useful as both an offensive and
defensive weapon.
The weapon has a very distinctive look as a long pointed metal baton with two curved
prongs projecting from the sides.
Sai users practice a variety of fighting styles which involve strikes, blocks, parries, and
capturing an opponent's weapon between the weapon's shaft and curved side prongs.
Rather than slashes, the sai is more affective in delivering short jabs into vital areas.
The weapons are much lighter than swords, relatively easy to handle, and are typically
carried in pairs, one for each hand.
Due to its light weight, it could also be thrown towards an enemy when needed.
Number 3: Kunai The kunai is a dagger-like-weapon which serves
as one of ninja's most basic but multi-functional weapons.
Historically, it is believed to have been derived from hand trowels, as farmers and
masons of feudal Japan used to make weapons out of any spare tools they could get their
hands on.
Kunais are crafted from metal into sharp blades with balance and weight in mind, as they are
used both in close combat, and thrown from a distance.
Apart from combat, they are used for digging and gouging holes in the wall for spying.
They could also be used as tools for climbing, as a grappling hook or as a piton.
Both a tool and weapon, the versatility of these easily concealable weapons make them
really useful.
One of the most distinctive characteristics of a kunai is the ring at the end of its handle.
This serves to increase the blade's function.
A rope could be attached to make it into a makeshift swinging weapon, or it could be
strapped to a long stick as a spear.
To add its deadliness, poison could also be coated on its tip for extra effect.
Number 2: Poison We've talked about how poison could be used
to compliment some weapons, often coated on tips of blades.
But its deadliness and wide variety makes it deserve a special mention on this list.
As stealthy assassins, ninjas could not avoid using poison, as it enables them to kill their
targets without confronting them directly.
Poisons could be placed directly into the food and drinks of victims, or put in their
mouths while they slept at night.
And in case of direct combat, even a light graze on an opponent's skin would be enough
to eventually kill them if the weapon is coated with poison.
All of this proves how extremely convenient poison is, as even the strongest of opponents
could be killed with ease.
Poisons come from many sources in an exotic country like Japan, giving ninjas a wide variety
of the substance at their disposal.
They had a deep knowledge of vegetation, and lived deep in the mountains where various
types of plants grew.
Apart from plants, their poison also came from mushrooms, toads and puffer fish.
Number 1: Shuriken You definitely can't talk about ninjas without
mentioning shurikens.
Shuriken literally translates to "sword hidden in user's hand", and are sometimes referred
to as throwing stars in the West.
They are crafted into many different shapes and sizes, usually with a hole at the center.
Shurikens might be small, but are essential tools in a ninja's arsenal.
They often serve a secondary role, as a nuisance or distraction when facing an enemy.
A skilled user would target exposed areas of an opponent's body, at high speeds and
incredible accuracy.
When a person is hit by a shuriken in the dark, they might confuse it to be a slash
from a swordsman nearby.
Similar to a caltrop, shurikens can be embedded in the ground, injuring the feet of those
who step on the spikes.
There are many other ways of using it, such as in combination with other weapons.
It could be wrapped with a small explosive, or coated with poison.
They could also serve as a close combat weapon when needed.
In skillful hands, shurikens could be extremely deadly, as they could be targeted onto vital
areas.
There are even reports of these metal stars being buried in feces and soil to harbor bacteria
so that its victims could end up with a tetanus infection.

Title: Mass exodus for Lunar New Year holiday begins - Duration: 2:31.
Almost every Korean is on the move for the upcoming Seollal holiday, which officially
runs from Friday through Monday.
We start with some crucial traffic updates,... courtesy of our Kim Jung-soo at Seoul Station.
The Seollal holiday hasn't really even begun yet, but Korea's major railroads and highways
are already packed with people anxious to go home and see family.
A big reason why people decided decided to start their journey early was the weather
forecast for Thursday, which pointed at snowy conditions overnight and possibly... icy roads
on Friday morning.
As such, the Korea Expressway Corporation said that traffic on the country's major roads
started piling up beginning at 10 AM this morning... and reached its peak around 7 PM.
The expressway corporation said that a combined 450 thousand cars have left Seoul on Thursday
so far, while a combined 360 thousand cars entered the capital during the same period.
Unfortunately, travelers who were hoping to avoid the traffic and take public transportation
might be hard pressed to find tickets.
The Korea Railroad corporation, or KORAIL, said its Seollal premium train tickets were
sold out within minutes of going on sale back on January 10th.
But for those who went through the trouble, it meant a safe and quick way home.
"I remember going to a cyber cafe early in the morning so that I could get tickets online.
I am waiting for the train heading to Busan so I can see my parents."
"I am heading to Ulsan to see my parents.
Getting the tickets was not easy but it was worth it.
Coming to the station, it really feels like the holiday season has begun."
It's also worth noting that the people who chose to travel by train account for only
3-point-6 percent of the combined 31 million people expected to travel over the next four
days, according to Korea's transport ministry on Thursday.
Meanwhile, 85-percent of the population will be traveling by car, while 10-percent will
travel by bus.
As for those traveling via air, the nation's main gateway Incheon International Airport
said that more than 180-thousand people have gone through the facility today... and that
an estimated 870-thousand people are expected to do so during the holiday weekend.
That figure translates to an average of 170-thousand people per day, which is a 10-percent increase
from last year.
To ease the congestion, the airport said it's added 130 more flights to its holiday schedule.

【東方妖々夢】卍ZAKURA 「 SOUND HOLIC」【Vietsub/Engsub】 - Duration: 4:40.
The samurai code ablaze in my chest devotes this life to you
In the afterlife, I become the interconnecting dream
Immortal soul, burn away your dying life!
From a faraway ancient past, I have carved my way through without flinching
Just for you, I stood alone, stripped myself of desire, and ran for my life
I musn't forget the favour I received, therefore I go "forward", ever "forward"
I am a protector of truth, here we go!
I close my eyes to shake off the wordly desires from my spirit
and I feel the sound from flowing white sand
My unshakable thoughts cannot be torn apart
just like a cornerstone that had been constructed over many years
Two edges unknown to man are polished day after day
Just now, I waited for the right time, then brandished them up high
In troubled times, I become the flower split in two
Blossom your fragrant life, immortal soul!
Beside your beloved
stay true to the Manjizakura, samurai soul!
A Thunderbolt dazzles the field of view in that moment with a flash
The divine power that dwells in this body is the strongest
I must not forget the mission I live for, therefore "stronger", even "stronger"
I am a protector of shadow, it's the moment of truth
Attracted to the skilled technique of a toughened shinobi
I ponder the secrets of wabi-sabi
Too bad, I was attacked over and over at midnight
No more, this is the end, I have no more need for mercy
In the afterlife, I become the interconnecting dream
Immortal soul, burn away your dying life!
Be struck by the merciful lightning
and awaken the manjizakura, samurai soul!
The samurai code ablaze in my chest goes to fight for you
卍ZAKURA (Maji CherryBlossom) English translated by Kagiyama-Class
Stand up now, proceed now
Stand up now, go now
In troubled times, I become the flower split in two
Blossom your fragrant life, immortal soul!
Beside your beloved
stay true to the Manjizakura, samurai soul!
East, west, south, and north is "cut to bits", absolutely everything is "smashed to pieces"
All because I wanted to be at your side, wanted to show you the dancing flowers
I musn't forget the favour I received, therefore I go "forward", ever "forward"
I am a protector of truth, the never hidden truth

Communion with Earth, Tour of Consciousness with Dr Dain Heer - Duration: 9:40.
Hi everybody, this is Dr. Dain from
lovely South Africa where I have seen
more wild animals in the last three days
and I can't even begin to tell you.
What is the tool for today?
Well the last video was about being
extreme and the extreme that you can
actually be that basically nobody else
around you can and that's okay. What if
you allowed yourself to be it for you.
In this video I'd like to talk to you about
something that I believe I actually
spoke about a year ago when I was here
in Africa because it lends itself to
this concept so dynamically and that is
what if you were willing to be in
communion with earth and what if you are
willing to be in such communion with it
that you allowed it to contribute to you,
that you recognize that you being here
on this planet is a contribution to
the planet itself and everything else
that goes on for all of us and what if
you could allow that in your awareness
in your daily living? Now how does that
work? Well let's say you live in a city
and you're like well there's not much
earth around here.
Actually there is, everything is on
the earth
it's like it's everywhere. It's just we
have these judgments that concrete is
not conscious and it won't contribute
and this is not conscious and it won't
contribute and my computer's not conscious
and and have to sit in front of it all
day or whatever it is for you. But what
if you recognize that every one of these
things has come from the earth initially,
in its raw material state it came from
the earth.
When I traveled,
I traveled to
so many cities around the world
and I used to have a very similar
point of view was like oh my god I'm in
a city and you notice that energy and
cities a lot of times? Now some of you
love it you're like oh my god I'm so alive and
some of you just hate it but you live
there anyway but what I started
recognizing is the earth is still there.
It's actually our judgment of the idea
that concrete and people and all this
sort of stuff make it difficult for us
to have a sense of space that is what
creates that is our reality. It is your
point of view that creates your reality,
reality doesn't create your point of
view. So what if you were willing right
now wherever the heck you are to just
reach down into the earth,
through the building, through the floor,
through the apartment building, through
your house, wherever you happen to be,
through the bus you're riding on right
now where you are like hey the tour of consciousness
came, you know and actually reach down
into the earth and just connected with
it for a moment, hah, it's almost like
connecting with your best friend, like
there's this being there that's been
there the whole time and you've never
acknowledged it. Now if you were just to
do that a couple times a day even for
those few seconds that we just did
how much more piece would be brought
into your life? Now we have a process in
Access, it's actually a body process and
the way you run it is you put your hands
on somebodies feet and you ask for
restoration of communion with earth and
then you run the current statement you
know that clear expect you've heard so
many times and you like it but you don't
know what the heck does? Well what it does
it starts the process of movement of
energy and change of limitation into
possibility and so if you have somebody
put their hands on your feet or if
there's somebody you love, know and care
about and maybe their bodies having a
difficult time, I mean this works great
on people in hospitals and that sort of
thing or maybe they're sick or maybe
they're like depressed or maybe they're
feeling kind of crazy or whatever it is,
if you put your hands on their feet and
ask for restoration of communion with
earth and then go right and wrong good and
bad, pod and poc, all nines, shorts, boys and
beyonds. pod, poc, shorts, boys and beyonds,
pod, poc, shorts, boys and beyonds, pod, poc, shorts, boys and beyonds,
and just keep your hands
there as long as it feels nice,
comfortable like it feels like it's
doing something. It's an amazing thing to see
because I've done this personally and so
many people have have sent me messages
asking what can I do for this person and
give them this process and they sent me
a message back going this is just
changed everything,
it's amazing because they were so
unhappy, they were so depressed and
I ran this and they are actually at
peace now and see this is one of the
greatest gifts that Access Consciousness
offers from my point of view is the
ability to change the things that we all
experience into a totally different
experience and it's based on the based
on all kinds of things but you know it's
called Access Consciousness for a reason
because when you're functioning from the
consciousness of you, you have no
judgment of you or anyone else, you have
no sense of wrongness, you have no sense of
rightness, you have no need, you have no
expectation, you have no projection, you
have no judgment, you just get to be kind
of like the earth itself is just there
like hi I don't have a point of view
about what you choose but it's really
nice when you're willing to connect with
me and acknowledge me and it's an
amazing gift if you just do this of
tapping into the earth every now and
again and if you choose to to run this
process which is a really amazing
process. What it starts to open up is a
sense of peace and space that you have
when you go out in nature. What would it be
like if you had that all the time in
your home, in your apartment building, in
the city, on the subway, in your car, while
you're driving through traffic in India
which if you've never driven through
traffic in India who talked about an
experience
wow! You know what would it be like
if you could have that everywhere. See
this particular process and this
conversation is actually about bringing
peace to your life, space to your life,
ease to your life and so what we have an
Access Consciousness is a bunch of tools
that start allowing that to happen that
start allowing that to be your choice
and not only the choice
thing from my god I gotta keep working
on this i got to keep doing it but you
run this process and that's just there,
just the space that is there and
available to you. So
the tools, let me remind you with the
tools are, just happen to the earth for a
few seconds even just for a few moments
just like your energy run down into the
beautiful planet, underneath whatever
building you're in or whatever structure
you're in or whatever is on top of the
earth itself, allow yourself to have a
breath with the earth and allow yourself
to acknowledge the earth and then also
lallow the earth to acknowledge you and just
go hey earth I'm here, hi!
I just want you know I'm grateful for
you and your allowance for everything
we're doing up here that seems so crazy
and we're so grateful for your
contribution how can I contribute,
that's first and then second is this amazing
body process restoration of communion
with earth, which is it great, great gift
that if you choose to do it or have
somebody do it on you, if you know somebody
weird enough to be able to teach them
this and you know say
hey can you do this? You know get one of
your weird friends that you like to hang
out with and talk about weird stuff with,
our do it on somebody else
it brings a sense of space and peace to
you also
and the other thing that it does is it
brings a sense of space and a sense of
peace to your body which is so needed
here. Our bodies run around and it
seems like in the world we live in right
now it's like they're stressed all the
time.
This starts to dissipate the stress from
your body by tuning you into that
vibration, by turning you into that space,
by getting you into resonance with the
earth.
We as beings naturally have a
communion with earth that after a very
short time on this planet we forget
because most people don't even recognize
it and so you see little kids that have
an easy time being happy and easy time
shrugging off judgment and crap and then
by the time our teenagers we just
are so stuck into trying to get this
reality right that it feels like we've
gotten away from and lost that sense of
peace, that sense of possibility that
sense of space, that sense of ease, that
sense of joy, that sense where it's all
ok. So if you do this
connecting with the earth just a couple times
a day and at some point in the near
future run this process on somebody you love
and care about or have somebody run it
on you. I think it'll start to give you a
sense of peace and ease that maybe like
what you always knew was possible but
didn't know how to get to. Once again one
of my favorite things about Access is it
actually gives you the tools to get to
that sense of space and ease that you
always knew were possible but you
haven't known how to get to. So I hope
this has been a contribution to you from
lovely South Africa we're doing an
amazing seven day event here seeing
people change before my very eyes which
is one of the greatest gift in the world
for me personally. Tthank you for being
part of the Tour Of Consciousness and
what if you truly being you are the gift,
the change and the possibility this world
requires. Please like this video if you
