I'm Enye and through I know some of you already know me
I also know that some maybe not!
So, I'll introduce myself!
Since I was a little girl I studied how to sing
and one day I decided to join into my own idol band, called "Reverso"
That was many years ago, but I send a big kiss to my two mates in the band
After that, I was inactive a couple of years
to finally join the band "Pangea" as drummer and chorist
In "Pangea" we made occidental music as well as japanese covers
After some years of activity in this band, we had to disolve it
And at that moment a told myself:
'Enye, maybe you should start doing what you always wanted...
go on stage by your own!'
And that's how my idol career started.
I traveled all through the country for many years singing in concerts.
From Barcelona to Extremadura.
More than a year ago, I decided to move to London for a short period of time
and then I decided to re-activate my YouTube channel uploading covers
In summer I had the oportunnity to join a japanese music agency
Thanks to them I had the opportunity to release my first song in Japan

Now I'm back in Spain and I decided
that now it was the moment to improve my channel
and upload new contents I've never uploaded before, not only covers

Tim Ferriss: Asking Dumb Questions Is a Smart Move - Duration: 4:23.
I think as humans we all have a preoccupation with looking dumb.
We are social creatures, hierarchical creatures and we don't want to shame ourselves, humiliate
ourselves.
But recognizing that by zigging when everyone else is zagging with that particular context
you can actually develop a super power.
And that is asking dumb questions.
And this came up repeatedly when I was interviewing incredible performers, world class of performers,
meaning investors, entrepreneurs, writers, you name it for Tools of Titans the new book.
And asking dumb questions can take many forms.
I'll give you a few examples.
Malcolm Gladwell is very good at asking so called dumb questions.
And he learned that from his father who was a mathematician had no intellectual insecurities
whatsoever, just did not care about looking stupid.
And he would constantly ask or he would first say I don't understand.
Please explain that.
I don't understand.
Can you explain that?
I don't understand.
Can you explain that?
And he literally might ask that ten times in a row and Malcolm mentioned that he imagined
sometimes what the conversation would it look like between his dad and Bernie Madoff because
his dad never would have invested, he just would've said I don't understand that at all.
Explain that to me over and over again until Madoff left or his dad got so frustrated he
had to leave.
But if we look at another sphere, say investing, Chris Sacca, a close friend of mine, billionaire,
incredible tech investor, just immaculate track record, is very good at asking dumb
questions.
And this applies to in the very early days where he did something very clever, which
was at Google when he was just an entry level guy really compared certainly to say the Wonder
Twins, the founders and others, he would go to as many high level meetings as possible,
most of which he was not invited to.
And so he would show up at a meeting with say Surgie or whatever and he would walk in
and he'd sit down and they'd kind of look at each other and ask him what he was doing
there and he go, "Oh I'll just take notes."
And they're like oh okay.
So he got to sit in on all these high level meetings.
And eventually at some point let's say he got through five or ten of those and people
started to just expect him to be around, he would then ask these dumb questions.
Sort of the pink elephant in the room why is no one asking this what seems like a very
obvious question?
And he's created some incredible breakthroughs in investing as a result of that.
The asking of dumb questions can certainly apply to exploring any topic or interviewing.
So Alex Blumberg, who's cofounder of Gimlet Media which has a slew of gigantic podcast
hits, just a factory for podcast blockbusters, he was the co-creator of Planet Money, which
is a very successful radio and podcast show.
For instance, during the subprime economic crisis he asked the question that no one else
seemed to be asking but it was just sitting right in front of millions of people who couldn't
quite figure out what the hell happened.
And it was why would banks lend money to people who stand next to no chance of paying it back?
And so very often the dumb question that is sitting right there that no one seems to be
asking is the smartest question you could ask.
Not only is it the smartest most incisive, but if you want to ask it and you're reasonably
smart, I guarantee you there are other people who want to ask they're just embarrassed to
do so.
And in this case if you can override that embarrassment and be the one who asks dumb
questions you can end up having best-selling books, you could end up having a huge blockbuster
of a podcast or many, you could end up picking the next Uber.
It is a super power in a world that is governed by shame and perhaps political correctness
more and more so people are not saying what's on their mind, they're not asking what's on
their mind and the questions here are the most powerful.

LADY LECTURE: The Diva Cup - Duration: 7:15.
Hey nerds, what's up?
Today is the first lady lecture of this channel,
so if you haven't seen my New Year's Resolutions video
then you won't know that I have decided to kind of
broaden my horizons on my channel and be making videos
about more than just books, which I kind of did already
but particularly I wanted to start making videos about
things that have to do with a woman's body, and particularly my experiences
with those. So this first video is going to be all about the Diva Cup
because I just started using it, so let's get into this video so I can talk about it.

So the Diva Cup is this thing that basically replaces the option
of a tampon or a pad, its the same thing that you would use
for all of the period life. So yeah that's what a Diva Cup is.
There are two versions of a Diva Cup. They have the number one
and the number two type. They come in a box and they'll have the number on it.
I think number one is pink and number two is blue
but I might be wrong about the colors. They'll just have a flower
of the number on it. Number one is for women who are under 30
and have never given birth and number two is for women
who are either over 30 or women who have given birth or both.
I have number one. I'm going to show it to you. It comes in a box
of course, but it also comes with a bag so I have it in my little bag
because I've already used it. It looks like this.
It's this little plastic cup. I think its made of silicon.
There's no holes or weird ridges where there's blood that can get stuck in it.
It has the ounces on the inside so you can see how much blood
And then of course it has the brand name on it which is the Diva Cup.
When you insert the Diva Cup you fold it either like this
and then fold in a U.
And then you're going to stuff it up your vagina.
And then you put it in there, and then it'll open up because
it's meant to open like this and then at the end when you need to take it out,
which I'll talk about in a second, you're going to pinch the bottom
because it suctions so make sure to pinch it and then you pull it out.
The other way to put it in is the way I like to do it
which you take the top and you fold it in on itself
so that it looks like this. This is the way that I like to do it
I take it like this and hold it like this. This is a smaller insert
so it's a little more comfortable at least
and that's the way I insert it and then you still take it out the same way.
Number one thing that I noticed while using it is that
it is no hard to use than a tampon. Not at all.
Insert, taking it out, all of those things are no harder than a tampon.
So if you've used a tampon before, other than a few tricky getting used to
the size and the way you hold it to get it in since you do have to
fold it and stuff... Other than that and getting used to it one or two times.
Simplest thing on the planet. You just stuff it up there and then you take it out.
My second favorite thing about the Diva Cup is that
it lasts twelve plus hours. Its not going to be uncomfortable
if you're on your last day of your period.
The last day of my period I used it and I probably only had
a little bit of the spotting blood where its darker and not really blood at all at that point.
It's just a little bit of leftovers. And I still used it for twelve hours
because I didn't know what was going up there. Took it out and still
the smoothest taking out situation that was when I was really heavy
on the first day of my period so it didn't hurt like when you take out
a tampon and you made the mistake you were still on your period but you were not
and then you take it out and you're like "Ow..."
The other thing I loved about it is just how much money I'm going to save.
So a Diva Cup costs $39.99 at Target at least in American dollars.
And it lasts for ten years. So you don't have to buy a new one for ten years.
$40 for ten years. How many tampon boxes would I have to buy in ten years
if I just continued to buy them? I don't know because right now
I'm having a period every other day which we'll get into on another lady lecture.
It has to do with my birth control and stuff and hopefully that will be changing soon.
Now the one thing I do have to say that is a potential con...
For me, I don't really have an issue for it. And its the fact that you have to be OK
with your own blood and gore. You just got to be able to handle it
because you stuff this thing into your body and then you take it out
and you have to dump out the contents. And this is going to be nice and descriptive for you
so prepare yourself. The period blood is not just straight blood
that would wipe away the same way as if you got a cut, right? Its kind of goopy.
So sometimes its not coming out and just dropping into the toilet.
Its connected to places so you have to use toilet paper and get everything out and gone.
And then you have to rinse the Diva Cup itself so you have to be OK
with your own blood.
You have to rinse out the Diva Cup with warm water.
So the way they recommend to clean it is within the days of your period
rinse it out every twelve hours with warm water,
make sure there's nothing in there anymore, reinsert,
take it out every twelve hours, rinse with warm water, etc.
One of the ways I've heard people talk about and the most common way
people clean it after those seven days is to put it in the dishwasher.
But yeah, some simple hand soap and warm water
and such. So it's so easy. I'm just amazed-- why are all the sounds happening right now?
Can you hear that? It's a car alarm.
So that is the Diva Cup. So far I'm enjoying it. I've used it for one period so far.
I really enjoy it. I'll definitely bring this up again after I've used it a few more times
just to see how I like it. Do you guys use the Diva Cup or
do you guys use tampons, pads, what do you guys use?
I used to use tampons most of the time but tampons... I very easily get them
into the wrong position and then I can feel them and its really uncomfortable.
And I did notice that using the Diva Cup I definitely didn't have it in
all the way correctly. No leaks or anything but I could feel it.
But it didn't hurt like a tampon does. I could just feel it if that makes any sense.
It wasn't uncomfortable, it just was like "oh it's obviously not in because I can feel it."
I think it just wasn't in enough, high enough.
I will definitely be talking about my birth control next
I'm on the Nexplanon so I'll be talking about that and I want

DIY Velvet Bodysuit | Thrifted Revamp Ep. 8 - Duration: 7:34.
Hello, it's Momo here!
In this episode of Thrifted Revamp, I'm going to turn this velvet dress into a bodysuit.
I don't know about your experience with velvet, but mine has been slippery with lots of movement.
Velvet also seems to have a very strong relationship with lint, so be ready for lots of that.
Be sure to subscribe if you're new, and outfits will be at the end of the video.
At first, I only wanted to shorten the dress and add some sleeves.
But these two spots of discoloration were a no-go, so the bodysuit came into play.
To maximize the fabric, I undid the hemming at the armhole.
After unraveling the central threads, both of the straight stitches came right off.
I made the armhole more fitted by adding a dart on either side.
Instead of backstitching, I tied a double knot at the end of the dart.
This will prevent puckering at the bust.
I opened up the dress to trace out the armhole for the sleeve,
which will be created from the fabric I had removed at the beginning.
I lined up the shoulder seam to what was originally the side seam of the dress
and made sure the ends of both armholes were level horizontally.
I traced out both sleeves separately.
Here, I'm taking measurements of the distance from the underarm to the shoulder
to get a ratio between the front and back.
My ratio was 3:4, with 3 being the front and 4 being the back.
I'm going to apply this same ratio to the wrist so that the center seam runs straight down the arm.
There is already seam allowance at the armhole, so I eased the allowance on the sleeve into it.
At the wrist, I opened up just enough of the hem to sew the sleeve closed before folding the hem back in.
Moving onto the body, I marked where I wanted the side of the bodysuit to end
and traced out the bottom of an underwear.
On the back, I extended the crotch by two inches and added seam allowance.
It's finally time to put everything together.
The dart created this awkward angle, but folding it down creates a nicer curve.
I didn't want to alter the armhole any more in case it changes the fit, so when I attach the sleeves,
I'm going to capture just enough of this part to hide any raw edge.
Another issue I ran into was these overstitch marks from the original hem.
To hide them, I folded the seam towards the body and topstitched 1/8th of an inch from the seam.
I tried to sew as close to the original marks as possible, so everything blends in.
To close the sleeves and side, I started at the armpit and sewed down the side.
Then I went back to the armpit and sewed along the sleeve.
After everything was done, I replaced the straight stitching at the wrist.
The crotch ended up being too short, so I extended it with a 4-inch strip.
I hemmed the bottom with a zigzag stitch and folded it once.
The end of the crotch gets a 1/2 inch fold,and the rest gets 1/4 of an inch.
All that's left is to add the snap fasteners.
I added three, and that completes the revamp!
One of the easiest ways to wear a bodysuit is to throw it under a skirt.
To enhance the vampy feel of the burgundy color and velvet texture,
I kept everything black, from top to bottom.
This time, I went in the opposite direction and tried for a more elegant look.
The burnt orange brings out a warm undertone in the bodysuit.
Adding a necklace in the same color palette creates a cohesive look overall.

The Alley Where Our T.N.R. Project Was Set (Neutering Feral Cats) - Duration: 4:54.
hi everybody and welcome to my unruly
housewife channel today i jumped out of
bed
the Sun was shining it's not quite so
bright now and so I decided that even
though I look a bit of a scruff i would
grab my camera and go and film in the
alley because in the alley behind our house
David and I ran a TNR project which
means trap, neuter, return or trap neuter
release, with the feral cats there
we'd had cats coming into the garden
we'd had cats coming in with kittens we
knew there was a problem with feral cats
around here and so what we did was we
contacted Cats Protection and well it's a bit
of a longer story than that but let's
say that's the story here and they
helped us with traps and they neutered
the cats for us and they helped to rehome
the ones that could be rehomed and some
of the cats went back into the alley
which is part of what TNR is so
i'll show you the video of the alley now
can i just mentioned before you watch it
that every time I say "I" , I mean David
and I.
I have a terrible tendency when I
explain what went on with things of just
sounding as if it was only me that did it
but I could never have
done this on my own Dave was part of
it too and yeah on with the video
ok here we are in the alley where we
ran the TNR project
and where we got Maisie from and Mog
from just showing you a bit of the area
and now we're coming into the alley
I'm sorry the sun is probably in your
eyes so i'll do my best
can see there's some big puddles on the
ground and there's a garage there
where they fix cars, they don't sell
petrol and some of the cats were
breeding in their buildings i don't
think the people there knew what
to do really they just kind of I
don't know... got along with them. i don't
think they fed them. Then there's this
land here and in that building there
there's a kind of cellar - where
people can't get in for some reason but
cats can get in, through a little hole and cats
were breeding in that cellar as you can
see - not very nice area
really i will come down here and there
the alley goes out onto another
whoops onto another main road and people
dump things down there, um, sofas and
chairs and things have just been cleaned
out again from some of the alley but
that's got a lot of branches and stuff as
well this wall is falling down and we
rescued 35 cats from this alley. 9 of them
were pregnant... neuter please neuter your
cats and if you see a cat that you know
is feral please try and get a charity
or somebody to help you or do it
yourself get a trap borrow a trap get
that cat and neuter it for goodness sake
I mean look at this awful situation for
cats to be living in and I mean some of
the cats had to be returned not all
feral cats can be homed
sometimes you just gotta put them back
where they were born and where they live
but what I do with those cats is I feed
them with the help of Cats Protection
they have been fantastic - paid for
all the neutering
and with their help I manage to cope
with the 10 or so that have been returned
to the alley. I'm feeding them I've made them
a little shelter but this is a sort of
situation that cats can get into and
breed indiscriminately and I think
it's really important that citizens will
you know try and help to take
responsibility for any cats that you see
that are in trouble and support your
local cat charities and let's try and
get a situation where some of the cats
that... at least some of the cats that live
locally (what we'd like to term now
"community cats") you know the neutered cats
that now occupy the alley, that they're
looked after and supported. Support TNR
