Exam Students, Let's Make Concentration Easy Tip #1 - Duration: 7:37.

So you're studying for exams!

The question that I'm asked most is

How can I help myself to concentrate better?

I help thousands of people every year

to concentrate more effectively and efficiently,

to remember more of what they read,

what they hear and what they study.

We make sure that they can bring

that to mind when they need it in their exams!

So if you're interested in the

techniques that I use, I'm going to be

showing 1 simple activity that you can use

to eliminate visual distraction

so that you can focus all of your attention

into your FOCUS ZONE

Your FOCUS ZONE is the space between the top of your head

the of your shoulders and down to your waist.

When you are concentrating and

focusing most of your energy and your attention

attention needs to be focused into this

space because this is where you

hold your book to read this is where you write

this is where you type this is why you do the things

that you need to do in order to study

and to perform in your exams.

If you can bring your attention into this FOCUS ZONE

and keep it there for EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME

then you will have no difficulty and studying

So the first activity that I help people to do is

is to bring the visual attention in

from their whole visual environment into this space

into their FOCUS ZONE

and to do this all we do is we reassure

your body and your mind and your whole being, in fact,

that you are SAFE in your VISUAL ENVIRONMENT.

We inherited our bodies and the way we operate

and the way that we operate

from our ancestors who were hunter-gatherers!

If they missed a single sign of danger

in their environment it could be catastrophic,

they could lose their life, their family or their food,

but for us in the 21st century

that's not the issue (Thankfully!)

We need to make sure of is that you feel secure wherever you are,

that you feel relaxed,

that you feel comfortable....

When you can feel safe in your environment

then it becomes possible for you to

focus all of your visual attention in here

and to ignore the rest of the visual environment.

To do this we are first going to

check how your eye muscles are working

because, when you are reading

your eyes have to travel over and back

and as you look up and look down

to various different things as you are studying

and if you are called to look up to you need to be

able to look up and look back down again

as long as your vision remains within your FOCUS ZONE

then things are okay

Right now we need to check how well the muscles

of your eyes are working because when

the muscles of your eyes aren't working

well you will start to use your neck

muscles and you find people who are

reading and they're turning the head

rather than moving their eyes

This can be a major strain and stress on your body

it makes you tired very quickly and it

makes you want to switch off

concentrating and studying from the

topic that you're dealing with.

So what we're going to do now is

to check how your eyes are moving

I'm going to invite you to LOOK UP towards your eyebrows

and then LOOK DOWN towards your chin

and look towards one ear

and then look towards the other ear

and just decide yourself which one

of those (directions) felt most strained

Was it (looking )UP Down to this side or the other?

Just write that down for yourself,

notice or just remember it.......

So the first activity we're going to do

involves putting your thumb and two fingers like this.

The distance apart is approximately the same

as the width of your mouth.

So bring it down here onto your chest

under your collar bone

just at the wing tips of your shirt.....

What you want to do is

rub here (under your collarbones )

the other hand is going to rest on your belly-button. (naval)

While we are doing this I'm going to invite you

you to move your eyes slowly all the way

all over to one side....

at eye level if you can

.... and then slowly all the way back....

....go to the other side at eye-level

look towards one ear

and then slowly across

towards the other ear again.

So one loop all the way over and back is one complete cycle

and we will do this three times in total.

Slowly...... slowly send your eyes across all the way

and all the way back slowly, gently

and as you are doing this you may find that you

actually scanning the whole visual horizon.

You are reassuring your brain and your body that you feel safe

and that there is no imminent danger

in your environment.

Next we're going to swap hands

I'm going to invite you just begin at

one (ear either on) this side of the other side

and slowly allow your eyes to go all the

way up towards your eyebrows,

across your forehead, follow all the way towards your ear

down across your cheek, down towards your chin

towards the other cheek,

over towards your ear,

all the way up towards your eyebrow

all the way up along

and anywhere that you find that your eyes are jumping

don't worry about it because we're going

to go around three times in total.

As we are doing this we are scanning the

environment above you and below you,

and we are reassuring the hunter-gatherer within you

that you're not going to be attacked

from the overhanging trees

you're not going to be attacked from the ground

and as a result you can feel safe and secure.

Because you know feel safe and secure within yourself

you are going to find it so much easier to

bring attention into the very center of your FOCUS ZONE

and you are going to find easier to

read and to do other things that will be

involved in studying.

So I'm going to check with you now

Please look towards your eyebrows

and look towards your chin

look towards one ear and thentowards the other ear.

So, is there the same level of strain(as before)

or have your eyes relaxed?

and you are able to focus and calm down

the hearing and listening inside your head

so that the only thing that you're

There are a lots of ways to introduce a baby rat to your other rats.

But I have been using this sort of way to introduce your rats to each other.

And I hope this will be helpful for someone!

Okay so first step is to move your rats away from the cage. Let your new baby familiarize with it alone!

I like to leave the cage kinda unclean so that your rats piss and poop will like stick into the new rat and it will make easier for your rats to accept the new rat!

Choose a free-territory area for your rats.

For an example I'm letting my rats get to know each other on my bed because it's easier for rats to accept the new baby rat when they are in vacant area.

And remember to introduce you new rat to your other rats one by one. Don't put all your rats together at the same time!!

First it's time to let Piskuila meet the new rat Romeo and after that Nikolai will meet him. Remember to let your rats meet the new baby one at time!

And then it's Curro's turn to meet Romeo!

It's really important to keep an eye on your rats so that you can prevent possible fights!!

But it's really rare that they will fight if your new rat is a baby :)

After when all the rats have met the new rat and everything has gone well I will let all them hang around for awhile.

For safety's sake I will put the rats in duna cage to test if older boys are ready to welcome the new baby even tho he is in their territory!

Last step! If everything looks fine and the older rats have accepted the new rat, I will finally let them go to their home cage :)

Remember to keep an eye on your rats gesture and signs!

For an example now Nikolai is just laying down relaxed even though there is a new rat in the cage. So I think he is okay with the new rat because he is chilling :)

But remember that all rats are individual animals so sometimes all rats can't welcome new rats! It depends on your rats personality :)

But it's totally normal that your older rats are SUPER interested in your new rat :) Just make sure that they will not harm the new baby!!

Welcome back to 2nd Act TV. Happy to have

Sandy staying over for another segment

with some great information on having

the right attitude when you're online

dating. Sandy, tell us what you mean

by that. Well I think that people's

attitudes can definitely get in the way.

First of all, whatever you're feeling leaks

out of you whether you think you're

showing it or not, so if you're on a date

and you're feeling like oh my God he is

so much older than I thought he'd be, and

uh he's boring me to death, but I have a big

smile on my face, he can feel it, you know,

he's not going to call you back, because

he gets it, he gets it whether you said a

word or not. But beyond the date and

how you feel

people often create lists that are

ridiculous. And they're often very long

and they create, they contain items that

are absolutely keeping them from love

rather than drawing them to the right

partner.

So I'll give you an example, height is one

of them. Height is, you know, he has to be 6 feet

tall. Even five foot two women are saying

he has to be 6 feet tall, and okay I know you

might feel more protected by a tall guy

but that's something that I encourage

people to let go of. But beyond that

there are women who say a man must have

a PhD. I mean, he must have a higher level

of education. And I always push back on

that one. Some of our most incredibly

successful people have not gone to

college, so if you're only looking for a

PhD guy you're going to negate a whole

bunch of people who are really smart, and

and the same with jobs. So I had a client

this morning who was looking for

somebody who was very professional, had

to make a lot of money, and so I got

curious. And so I started to peel back

what's important to you about him being

a professional, what's important about

him making a lot of money?

So it really was based on her past

experiences. The man she'd been married

to, a man she been in a relationship with

who may have expected her to be sort of

a sugar mama, which is what she's not

interested in doing. And I had a client

who actually paid for most things

because she made a lot more money than

her boyfriend, but she never checked in

with him and said, she never even asked

him if he would pay for stuff, she just

assumed, and she was she was kind of a

caretaker personality and a people

pleaser.

So when I started working with her and

said, look let's take a look at this I

want you to have this money talk with

your boyfriend. And she sat down with him, it

was a very hard conversation to have, but

it turned out that he made less money,

but he saved much more money, he had over

a million dollars of savings and his

house was paid for, and he was in good

shape! She on the other hand was about

to have our house foreclosed because

she'd given away so much of her money

that she couldn't pay her mortgage. So

you know, if you look at the external it

can really throw you off, so always go to

the core values that are beneath them,

the character traits, kindness, compassion

all the things that I spoke about

before, so they're going to matter more.

How does the person show up in a crisis?

That is going to matter so much!

You know, people can show up and be

really charming in the beginning of a

relationship. But when the chips are

down ...

I once dated a guy who totally

disappeared in a crisis. And I sat him

down and I said, listen, I need a man who's going

to be there, thick or thin. I mean he has to

be there rain or shine, and if you're not

that guy that's okay but I'm leaving. And

he was like, no no no I am that guy, I am so

sorry, I'll be that guy. Well, he wasn't that

guy. So at the end you know, he said

to me, well can't we be friends? And I

said, but you're not my friend,

we can't be friends. So you know we we

have to be careful, and the friendship

is really important, you know, how you

connect with somebody and really have an

inspirational relationship. Not

one of depravation, but one of

inspiration. And that's something that

obviously, that develops, and that's

where the attitude comes in. Yeah, yeah.

Yeah, you're right! With online dating

especially, you you tend to, because of

the kind of questions they ask,

there's a funnel that's put in place

that, you know, I guess you need to be

aware that that you can overcome that,

or not let that block you, as you said, from finding

love.

I mean you can always expand your

preferences, and I have a great story of a

client who met a man who lived three and

a half hours away? So a lot of people are

reluctant to do the long-distance thing.

They say, well I'm not willing to travel.

Well maybe he's willing to travel? Maybe

he has more time. Maybe you can meet

halfway, and then, but you have to have an

endgame, you have to have an end plan. So she

had before him, she had dated a guy who's

about 45 minutes away, and he ended up

breaking up with her on the phone and

said, I'm with another woman she lives

around the corner,

you're too far. Okay he was a jerk! The

next guy was an amazing loving kind man

who, he ended up coming, he came to town, booked

a hotel room, a real gentleman.

They ended up getting married. And he

still, they still have a commuter

marriage until he can move his

psychiatry practice to her town, but he's

going to move, he's going to pick up and move.

And he's close to 80, there's a huge age

difference, huge difference, and that's

another thing. Like, look at the person,

don't look at the outside. You know, if

he's 15 years older than you but he's

vibrant and alive and amazing, you know

you get ten good years together, that's

10 more years than you would have had.

And so, go for it, you know, go for the

person, not the

shiny object. That's terrific Sandy.

Corey Goode Update I woke up a few minutes ago.

I am feeling super weak and exhausted...

Yesterday, David Wilcock reported that Corey Goode was in the hospital with chest pains.

This morning, Goode issued the following update stating he was ok, along with some other pertinent

updates.

David Wilcock just issued an update, which I have added to the bottom of this post.

I woke up a few minutes ago.

I am feeling super weak and exhausted and have a massive headache.

I am doing much better.

Thank you all for the prayers and healing energy.

I ended up leaving the Emergency Room against medical advice (AMA) because of the super

long wait.

After the EKG was done and it was obvious I wasn't going to "keel over" the Dr. had

me go to the waiting room.

After a long wait and a man and woman came into the lobby and projectile vomited we decided

it was time to leave.

I will be going to my family Doctor on Monday to get fully checked out.

Thanks to your immediate support, his condition is stabilizing.

Corey just told me the following via text:

"I started doing much better very soon after you posted the request for prayers.

Ka' Aree told me (telepathy) to be calm, She was observing the situation and I would be

okay."

That being said, this does NOT appear to be a 'normal' event.

We had a major aerospace conference that "just so happened" to be at our hotel at the same

time that we were taping.

Check out the video Corey shot of what he could see while walking around the common

lobby area of the hotel.

It was an SAS Aerospace Conference.

Some "very big names" were there.

We also have a photo of the two of us in front of the sign at the entrance, which I added

here as a "custom thumbnail".

Then add to this that my close friend had a dream where Corey was being attacked by

an 8-foot-tall agent-type being -- with a heart attack weapon.

He was warned in the strongest terms to stay away from what in the dream was a very dark

and foreboding area that Corey had willingly walked into, oblivious to the danger.

Corey heard this dream, which occurred the day before his ER visit, but did not know

what to make of it at the time.

Then add to it that I had announced major breakthroughs in our work, and that I was

going to a funeral, the day before this happened.

The episode occurred just two hours after the funeral.

We appear to have avoided disaster this time, but your prayers and loving thoughts are still

urgently needed.

I fly back home to Dallas from Boulder, Co. today.

I spent nearly a week in Mexico and after being home a few days, I flew out to Boulder

to shoot 12 more episodes of Cosmic Disclosure.

I had a number of strange synchronicities on both trips.

David WIlcock and I were stunned to see that the Human Space Flight Forum was taking place

in our hotel.

There were some very interesting people walking around the lobby.

None of these symptoms are "normal" for our trips to Colorado, which Corey has been doing

about once every 5-6 weeks for two years.

I can also confirm that he was eating normal, healthy food on this trip.

Thank you for stepping up and adding your healing energy to this cause.

I very rarely try to use that power publicly but this was of critical significance.

Based on all the surrounding evidence there may well have been some sort of attack here.

Thankfully with our support, whatever was used wasn't strong enough to take him down.

Furthermore, Universal Law states that once an attack like this is attempted, many positives

can be authorized to occur in the aftermath.

For this same reason we may have some even more impressive breakthroughs that emerge

in the aftermath of this near-miss.

I'm Back...Finally + Recent Purchases [CC] - Duration: 9:38.

Hey guys, long time no see. I know, I'm so

sorry that I haven't posted any videos

lately, right after getting this YouTube

channel started. I went home for about a

week in December for a little Christmas

trip and then once I got back here to

Florida work just started picking up

because of the holiday season and we

had our Christmas here in our apartment

for the first year which is really fun.

And then after that I just didn't have

time to go to the park to film anything

either

we just kind of been sitting at home doing a

lot of stuff, trying to save some money. I

actually just dropped my mom off to the

airport from here in Florida. She came

down to visit for my birthday which was a

couple days ago so that was super exciting,

but she's going home now so hopefully I

can start making some more videos. I should

have one posted pretty soon for Festival of the

arts. It's a little small just

because it got dark really fast and I didn't

have time to film a lot, but hopefully

you guys enjoy that. We do plan on going

to the rest of the festivals, the

weekend at least, because they're

Friday through Monday over the next couple

weeks to see all the performers so

hopefully I should get a video up for each one of

those. Since I posted my last video i've read a

couple books here and there, mostly just

Series of Unfortunate Events since the

show did come out on netflix. I

absolutely love it as well, so if you guys haven't

checked it out make sure you go and watch

it.

I was really hesitant about Neil Patrick

Harris but he actually does a really good

job. I haven't finished this series on

netflix yet. I think I'm on book six or seven

book wise. They're in my box that I haven't

gotten around to them, just trying to

read them all before I watch the entire

series that I know it ends on like book six

maybe, book 3 I don't know one of my friends

told me but right now i'm on the

episode that starts book 3 so so far it is very

good. So even though I've been reading here

and there one of my goals for this year

was trying to cut down on book buying

basically purchasing any other things that I

don't really need but the stuff that I

want. I actually took about twelve books off

my shelf and donated them to the library

about a week ago and they were books that

I knew I was ever going to read or

I had read once and I knew that I

wasn't going to read again. But I just

thought that they were okay.

Most of them were

the 100 series. I really loved the first

one, didn't like the second one. The hunger

games which I loved when I read them but

I'm just not going to read them again and

just a couple of other things that I knew

there was no point for them to be on my

shelf. I've really been looking into

minimalism, kind of, not necessarily the hardcore

kind, but just trying to cut back on

what I buy because our library here does

deliver to our door and so it's so

easy to get the books that I want and so

it's kind of if I read the words and get

what I want out of the books that I

don't have to own it. And I guess if I

really do want to copy I can buy it

later. You guys might also notice that the

background, kind of, behind me. I actually

bought a tapestry, I'll insert a little clip of it here

. I got this off of Society6

after christmas because I little extra

money and iI eally wanted a very nice

tapestry to put on this blank wall which helps

because now I have a nice background if

I don't want to use my bookshelves. It

just says you are a story and it's from

one of my favorite books which is the

little princess and yeah, it's absolutely

gorgeous so that's one of my favorite

things that I bought since I started

trying to cut back a little bit. But I

figured I will show you guys kind of what I'm reading

right now and few books that I did

pick up before I kind of started trying

to cut back just a little bit and

some thinng I bought with my Christmas

money so yeah. So for Christmas I ended up

getting a Barnes and Noble gift card

I bought a couple books and I bought a

record because I got a record player for

Christmas as well. The first one of those

books was Dan and Phil Go Outside and

this is basically just about their tour

which me and my friend did go to at

playlist live last March or April, I

think but I actually really like this

one much better than their original book

which was The Amazing Book is not on Fire. I

couldn't remember the title, but this just has a lot

more pictures in it and I don't know it was just super cute.

And since I actually did go

and see the tour it was really fun to see behind the

scenes but I just am a big Dan and

Phil fan. I was actually watching the

Sims before I came to film this.

So one of the other books that I got was Where

Am I Now by Mara Wilson. Matilda is one

of my favorite movies of all time

when I was a child and I just love Miss

Honey and I love Matilda and they were so

sweet and I don't really...I used to follow Mara on

twitter. I don't

really get on Twitter that much anymore

now but when I did she is a really great

speaker and feminist and writer and I just

really wanted to kind of know the

behind-the-scenes of the movie so I

picked this up. I've been wanting it for

a while it was really really good! I

think I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars so

definitely check out if you're a fan. The

next book I bought was also with my gift card

and that is going to be Stephen King's

IT. So I did read Misery a couple of

months ago, I think, and I liked it enough, but

I really wanted to read something a

little bit more scary. I'm about 400 pages

which is basically what I'm reading

right now. I'm not really reading much of

anything else.

It's huge it's 2,000 pages long. So far it's

pretty good it's definitely very very

slow so I can understand that it might

be better as a movie. I haven't really heard that

much like comparison wise but you know I

haven't seen the movie yet so it's creepy it's a lot creepier than misery

but I just really

love this cover and I just wanted

something spooky so I got this as well.

The last thing I ended up getting with my

barnes and noble gift card wasn't a book because

that's kind of when i decided that I

didn't really need to buy any more books

if I was going to order from the library

all the time and so I got a record

player for Christmas so I decided... one of

my friends got me a princess disney

album for Christmas so I wanted

to get something else for it and I ended

up getting Aurora All My Demons Greeting

Me as Friends. She's really popular right

now you guys watching this you probably have

heard of her she's absolutely amazing.

I think she's only 17 or 18 years old,

singer and this album is great, it's absolutely

gorgeous it's just black so I'm not going to

pull it out. It has 12 songs on it so

it's not her deluxe but I really love it

and I love having a record player in my room, it's just

so cute and makes it a

little bit cozier so I got this instead.

I can keep replaying it and it was

something that I had to have in order to

play.

It''s like super hot in here but I can't turn on

the fan on because it

makes noise so like...awkward. It got way too hot in here so I had to

take that jacket off

because I'm like...ugh it's not even that hot.

So the last books I bought before I stopped buying things

was from the library and that was

Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman.

I've read the one with Meaghan Spooner and

Amie Kaufman, the stars?

I don't remember what it's called now

right off the top of my head.

Great, I'll insert it below. I read it,

thought it was ok. I've not heard great

things,

this was only at the library for $3

dollars so I decided to pick it up. My

friend read it, she thought it was just

meh she couldn't really understand it because there

is so much, like, its graphic texts really

so it's a lot of things broken up which

for me is gonna be a quick read. So if I don't

like it, whatever, I'll just donated

back to the library for someone else and I

just thought the cover was really cool.

I couldn't really pass up anything that was three

dollars.

So finally one of my other last books is

going to be something I got for

Christmas which I knew I was getting and that was

Harry Potter and the Chamber of

Secrets Illustrated edition. I told my

mom back in October I wanted this for

Christmas because I'm going to get them

every year and I just hadn't picked up

this one yet. I read the first one is

absolutely gorgeous artr like you have

probably read this, I'm not gonna go

through it. I started it and I'm not that

far like a third of the way I think. I've

just kind of put it down while I was reading

Stephen King but I've read Harry Potter like

eight times so I'm not know missing out.

I feel like i'm going to get to this

like within thenext two weeks I feel

like I really want to. And then finally

I was gonna tell you guys today I actually

bought a Rode microphone and then I

bought a new lighting system so I bought a new

triple kit a while back on Amazon I'll link those

down below the ones that I bought. Last

December so in 2015 after I graduated I

bought some lights and I really

really liked them they do so much better

for videos right now I'm just using

natural light because I don't have anything in the

apartment but I wanted to finally get

these because I bought them and one of lights didn't

work so I used it like a few days, just

you know, taking photos and I was like you

know it's not gonna work

I'm not gonna pay full price and I sent

it back and then I was moving to Florida

so I didn't want to rebuy and have to

drag all the way down here so I have

never repurchased it but today I

had some extra money from my birthday.

So I decided that would be a good investment

along with the microphone so that these

videos are gonna be hopefully so so much

better so I'm really excited about that.

Especially when we go out to Disney I can

get better microphone quality and sound

quality and that's really exciting. So

sorry again for the lack of videos I

should have one coming up, I should be

making more a couple days because my

roommates are out and they're coming

back and

we're going out and we're gonna have fun it's going to

be so exciting so thank you guys for

Biel's Document Management Systems Case Study I Kodak Alaris - Duration: 3:08.

Biel's Document Management Systems is a true document management service provider since

1939.

We're actually the oldest service provider in the country.

So from Kodak Alaris we have four high speed standard format scanners and one we've had

about five years, it's a i1860.

We have two i5600's and then we have one that we just bought last year which is a i4850.

That's our newest but it already has over ten million images scanned on it.

They are continuously running with very little down time and also providing high quality

images all the time.

It really reduces the amount of QC that we have to do.

It's intelligent enough to grab one sheet of paper at a time, as long as it's properly

prepped and arranged it will just keep feeding and it knows okay thats a business card size,

that's a 11x17, that's a standard document and it just keeps running.

And as long as it keeps running, as a company we are making money... so that's what we're

after.

Because they just fly when you're giving it paper in the proper format and it's running

smoothly and you can get thousands upon thousands of images an hour.

The ease of use is very important because we're training people that a lot of them haven't

even touched a scanner.

I've had home scanners that don't work as easy as these!

One of the things we really like is the intelligent document protection because a lot of the times

the documents that we're getting in are one of a kind, there's no backup, we're here to

create the backup.

If you have a page that's starting to rip because maybe you forgot to remove a staple

and now multiple pages are being torn apart, not always where the staple is but it might

tear, it's really good at stopping and saying hey what is going on.

So it's very important to us that when we put paper through we're not going to lose

those documents or damage them and then have to go back to the customer and say, hey we're

sorry but that one page you have that no one has another copy of, well it's gone.

I'd highly recommend Kodak Alaris solutions to particularly other service bureaus.

Also as we deal with our customers not everyone wants to outsource, so that's something that

we would recommend Kodak Alaris solutions to as well.

I have to eat pierogi kresowe and I couldn't find it in Warsaw,

so we are going to drive 800 km round trip

to eat some pierogi kresowe.

Okay, that is retarded but I acknowledge the need

of just having to eat something.

About two weeks ago when I tried pierogi kresowe for the first time

I gained a complete obsession for the dish.

For me it sounds like the stupidest idea ever, but well, he asked me, so let's go.

Digimon World 2 Review - Learning To Love PlayStation - Duration: 9:04.

Digimon World 2 is a follow-up to the very first Digimon World game, which would be incredibly

tough to tell if it wasn't for the fact that its title bills it as a direct sequel.

The game was released in July 2000 for Japan, and nearly a year later in North America on

May 19th, 2001.

Europe just...straight up never got this game.

Which is weird since according to a GameSpot article, Digimon World 2 was announced alongside

the first game in 1997, so there should have been pretty longstanding plans.

Anyway, that's rambling.

Digimon World 2 ditches the virtual pet, city rallying focus of the first game in favor

of being something entirely different; a dungeon crawling RPG.

Digimon are no longer cared for, they simply gain experience in battles, and instead of

traveling through a quirky varied world, you are instead trawling through rather uninteresting,

basic environments.

The game opens with you, a so-called Digimon Tamer, about to complete their training.

Your instructor, Zudokorn, accompanies you into the game's first dungeon and teaches

you a few of the basics of how the game will play out, and after finishing the map, you

return to a city to pick from one of 3 established Guard Teams in the town.

This is basically a way of picking from which of 3 kinds of Digimon you can befriend early

in the game, Vaccine, Data, or Virus, since each of the 3 focuses on 1 kind and you can

only recruit from the kind your Guard Team aligned with.

Until you can buy items from the other teams later in the game, at least.

From here, the game basically just boils down to being assigned some dungeons, going to

them, defeating wild Digimon, overcoming possible traps and staus conditions, then beating the

dungeon boss so you can rinse and repeat this process.

There's also some incredibly light town navigation, where sometimes you'll need to find specific

NPCs to get certain items or to advance certain plotlines or mission progressions.

The plot is nothing to write home about, however.

At least the localization is mostly competent, if still awkward at times.

So let's get into it.

Instead of you as a human explroing these dungeons, you get into a tank called a Digi

Beetle.

Each movement or action costs you one Energy Point, or EP.

If you run out while in a dungeon, you get warped back to the city and have to pay a

fee.

Same if you run into enough traps like these colored floors, and wind up depleting all

of your vehicle's health points.

You can find treasure chests and open them, which are sometimes booby trapped, and also

enemy Digimon to fight.

Your main objective is to look for a warp square on every floor that will take you to

the next level of the dungeon.

Early on this all works fine enough, though it tends to be uninteresting due to the lack

of variety or interesting dungeon layouts.

This falls apart due to how suddenly the dungeon trap placement spikes a dozen or so hours

into the game, however.

Your Digi Beetle has limited inventory space, with a few upgrades available throughout the

game to add more storage in.

You'll need items to restore your vehicle's health, energy points, to remove "Bugs" from

it which are a kind of trap, items to restore your Digimon's hit points, items to restore

your Digimon's magic points, items to remove one kind of obstacle in the dungeon, and items

that remove another kind of obstacle.

The reality is, you won't get to carry an efficient number of these at once, so for

a long time in the game you can't go into a dungeon well prepared, you have to sacrifice

useful items to make way for items you'll need for sure, as some dungeons sprinkle traps

that block progression unless you can undo them and move past them.

However, you can only learn of these spots by just blindly going into the dungeon and

finding out for yourself, which can lead to a lot of backtracking and repeating progress

if you happen to get progression blocked in this way.

Digimon World 2 is already a game with a slow, plodding pace, and this has the potential

to actively bring things to a screeching halt at times.

This progression blocks really wouldn't be an issue if you could always keep an effective

arsenal of items at all times, but goodness help you if you don't bring a certain kind

of trap disposal into a dungeon, or god forbid you bring that kind, but bring one less than

you needed and wind up stuck.

Oh, and there are different colors of traps, which require different levels of disposal

items.

So there's a good chance your currency winds up pretty drained at times, too, requiring

even more grinding.

So let's get to the actual Digimon systems.

Instead of the first game's quirky stat management, Digimon World 2 keeps it fairly simple with

a more traditional JRPG setup.

You find enemies, you beat them, get experience, and when you have enough you level up.

Digimon can still Digivolve, at levels 11, 21, and 31, and anything before Rookie has

been gutted, which oddly robs Digimon a bit of its weird flavor.

But there's another mechanic here that on one hand, seems to encourage a bunch of experimenting

with the game's creatures, but on the other hand, seems like a pretty obvious ploy to

pad the game out.

Digimon have a stat "DP".

This stat increases by one point for every time you DNA Digivolve, which essentially

combines two monsters and leaves you with one.

At different tiers of DP, a Digimon can head down another branch of Digivolution, opening

up new team possibilities, which is kinda interesting.

Unfortunately, DP also determines a Digimon's max level.

Once a Digimon maxes out, it has to DNA Digivolve with another and start from the lowest level

of that Digimon's form.

A rookie starts at level 1, a champion at level 11, and so on.

This effectively means that you are constantly having to bring new Digimon into your party,

raise them, max out their level, then combine them with the Digimon you've had around for

a while, to try and build them back up and keep raising their level cap.

This can be incredulously grindy.

Digimon games have a bit of a reputation for being very grindy and that absolutely has

its origins here.

It's just another layer of tedium in a game that's trying so hard to be decent, but keeps

getting clawed back into a pit of poor design choices with no light in sight.

Coupling that with how long battles can take to load and play out, and how the frame rate

in battles slow down more and more for each Digimon in a fight (up to a maximum of 6),

and how slow movement speed is in cities and dungeons, and hopefully you can start to see

why I called Digimon World 2 a slow game.

I played for 20 hours and was fighting to keep interest.

Part of that might be that I played this game a ton as a kid and I was going through the

motions, but I think that's probaly a very small part of it since I had ambitions to

get certain Digimon, to see certain dungeons, those kinds of things.

But ultimately I threw in the towel.

I even used a GameShark just to see if that would spark my interest in the game again,

and that fell flat.

One nice thing I'll give the battle system is, it's nice to feel more in control of your

Digimon.

That's handy.

Overall, Digimon World 2 is a game that was much easier for me to slog through when I

was young with less responsibilities.

Nowadays, sinking 20 hours into it only to be consistently hitting arbitrary grinding

blocks is rather tiring, as much as I want to like the concept of a Digimon dungeon crawler

with a leveling system that encourages trying out new combat partners and strategies, it's

just hard to do so when the execution is like this.

Next time I want to give this game another go, I think I'll do it in an emulator where

I can speed up the gameplay to see if that alleviates any issues.

But for now, I am done with Digimon World 2.

This is where I would have loved to tell you Digimon World 3 is next, but my copy of the

game is apparently so scratched that it made my game freeze in a very early area, so I'm

going to have to postpone that review indefinitely.

So as for what's next?

I suppose we'll just have to see.

TROLLS RAINBOW DRIP CAKE RECIPE - Duration: 6:14.

Hi guys it is becky here welcome to my virgin kitchen we are not in the kitchen today barry

has brought me out to the beach and it is freezing it is really cold, today I am showing

you how to make the most amazing rainbow tie dye coloured drip cake it is so colourful

and I am really proud of myself that I managed to achieve this this was not just any cake

this was a cake for chloe�s fifth birthday so it had to be covered in trolls and really

bright colours, I really hope you give this a go.

the first thing I did was make 2 chocolate and 2 vanilla sponge cakes you have seen me

make these before on the easy chocolate cake and Victoria sandwich recipe we will put links

to those videos up here and down below and also in those recipe videos are how to make

the buttercream that we are going to use, first up we get a cake stand we have one with

a spinning top which makes icing cakes so easy, grab a cake board and place on top then

get a small amount of buttercream icing now you are going to begin layering your cakes,

put the first sponge on top of that, followed by some buttercream then just alternate the

sponges filled with buttercream until you are at the top with your cake.

So the first layer of buttercream around your cake is called a crumb layer now I have never

done a crumb layer before but I found out the reason you do a crumb layer is to latch

all the crumbs onto the side of the cake so they stay in place, so when you do your final

layer of icing those crumbs do not show through.

Do your best to get it as smooth as you can then leave the cake to chill for about 20

minutes in the fridge.

We would have put ours in the fridge but it was freezing that day so our conservatory

was just as cold as a fridge.

So we put ours out there, but anywhere that is cold is fine to keep the cake.

Once the cake is nice and chilled do another layer of buttercream but this time you want

it to be that little bit thicker so go around the sides then get it nice and smooth, as

you get it nice and smooth you will probably find a lot of buttercream will come off, then

do a nice thick layer over the top of the cake.

This is where you want to get your buttercream smooth around the cake take your time either

use a flat pallet knife or we used a cake scraper which was amazing I have never used

one before I did not even know we had one until barry got it out of the drawer.

We have had one for years but never used it.

It made it so easy to get it nice and smooth.

You are then going to leave that to chill again for another 20 minutes then you can

begin the fun coloured part of the cake, divide the icing into five bowls, hello, alright

it is cold, so we used blue, purple, yellow, pink and orange for our colouring, once your

coloured buttercream is ready this is where you can make the cake look amazing get a small

amount of any colour you want to begin with just gently put it on the side of the cake.

Do this with each colour just alternate it put the colours all over the cake you want

to get it completely covered in spots of yellow icing it did look like it had a spotty disease

or colourful mould going on, I think it should have stayed like that, it did look pretty

cool all the coloured icing around the cake.

Once the cake is covered in buttercream icing grab the spatula or cake scraper, just hold

it at the side and gently spin the cake around so all the buttercream icing merges into one

and you have a tie dye thing going on, once you have been around one way you go back around

the other way and that gives an even better effect they are all merged in together and

it looks really effective, really cool.

Do not worry if when scraping around a lot of buttercream comes off that is fine, just

scrape it to the side, but keep going around, when I did it I got my cake nice and smooth

but I did notice I had some gaps, and some holes where I had not put enough icing on

so I just got a small amount of any colour put it in the gaps and I put my flat spatula

in some warm water and just smoothed those holes the last bit you are going to make is

the chocolate ganache I broke up some pieces of white chocolate, put them in a bowl, then

poured over some cream, then blasted it in the microwave for a minute or so and then

gave it a good stir together.

You just want to get that chocolate all nice and melted.

I then changed it to pink so I added In a bit of food colouring, I did not have the

oil based food colouring and because we are putting it in chocolate we use that so I added

a drop of vegetable oil and gave it a good mix together, that will mean that the chocolate

will not seize.

You are then going to pour a small amount onto the top of the cake, you can put it quite

close to the edge, but just gently push it over the edge so it creates a drip effect

then do that all around the edge of the cake until you have drips coming down, then pour

the rest of the ganache very carefully so it covers the top of the cake.

So I wanted long drips down my cake to look like troppy floll hair?!

Troppy floll, fluffy troll hair but if you want shorter drips going down let the ganache

sit for 5 minutes so it is not as runny, so you should just get smaller drips going down.

Let that firm up for a few minutes then you can just add your decorations on top, we went

for trolls of course we had troll figures we did a little 5 with some smarties and added

some rainbow strip sweets.

There we go our cake was done and I was so pleased with it but this is my first time

making anything like this and was really pleased chloe loved it and it tasted amazing too so
