Calligraphy for beginners - Duration: 6:29.

Calligraphy is a wonderful hobby.

You hardly need any tools, they'll cost you less than a dinner for two and will last you

for years with just a little bit of care.

You'll be able to write beautiful letters, wedding invitations or a special message for

that special someone.

Let's go over the basic tools first and then I'll show you how to get started.

The most obvious tool you'll need is the pen holder.

The letters will be at an angle, so I recommend buying a so called oblique pen holder.

The best ones are handmade from wood and can be quite expensive.

Here's my advice though - buy a plastic one from Spedball.

It's not the best and you should switch to a different one when you get better, but it

costs almost nothing and it's a good beginners choice.

If you're left handed, a straight pen holder will be easier to work with.

The pen holder is designed for special metal nibs.

They'll hold the ink, but they're also flexible so that they can open up with pressure.

As you can imagine, there are a lot of different nibs to choose from, but you actually don't

have to worry about that either; simply buy the Zebra Comic G and you'll never look back.

They're wonderful to work with and a pack of 10 costs less than a dollar apiece.

Most nibs come with a protective coating that you'll have to clean off first.

Toothpaste seems to work best, so grab a brush and gently clean the nib.

Here's an easy way to check if it's clean enough; dip it fully into the ink.

If the ink doesn't stick then there's still some coating left, so clean it a bit more.

... and here's how it should look like.

Speaking of ink, there's one that's perfect in my opinion; the Tom Norton's Walnut ink.

I've no idea who Tom Norton is, but the ink has a beatiful sepia color, it flows as it

should, you don't have to dillute it and it's not the most expensive one.

Obviously you'll need something to write on.

This is a hard one and you'll just have to experiment a little.

I don't want to recommend any speciality papers, because they're too expensive when you're

just starting out.

In fact, common office paper seems to work just fine.

Here's how you can do a quick test.

Draw a line and see what happens.

The nib should glide smoothly over the paper and the line should have a sharp edge.

Recycled paper is sadly not appropriate.

It will absorb too much ink, causing blurry lines like this.

The next item isn't required, but I'd highly recommend buying this book.

It's titled Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy by Eleanor Winters.

It's aimed at total beginners and you won't find a better book to start with.

Not only will you learn how to write different strokes, it'll also show you how not to do

them, which is just as important.

I've mentioned that you'll be writting at an angle, so you'll need some sort of a guide.

Because the office paper is transparent enough, you can print out the guide lines and place

them underneath.

Check the description for more info.

If you'll be working on a thicker paper, you'll need to draw the guide lines by hand.

Winter's book has an entire section on how to do just that.

Now that you hopefully have everything, let's go over how you can actually get started.

Just like there are various fonts on your computer, there are a lot of so called scripts

to chose from when it comes to calligraphy.

The copperplate script is probably what most people have in mind.

It looks beautiful and you can use it in just about any project.

It might look similar to cursive hand writing, but it's actually not written in one go.

In fact, most letters require at least two or three individual strokes.

Copperplate is therefore written slowly, so don't be surprised that it takes longer than you'd expect.

The hardest thing to master is control of the pen, even though it works simple enough.

Basically the harder you press it down, the wider the line it creates.

There's really only one rule when it comes to copperplate;

whenever the pen is moving upwards, known as an upstroke, it should barely touch the paper.

When moving downwards, a downstroke, you should press harder so that the nib opens up and

produces a thicker line.

This rhythmic opening and closing of the nib is what gives copperplate it's distinct and

beautiful look.

I know, your lines will look terrible at first; uneven and probably not straight at all.

But don't worry, it simply takes practice to develop the feel for it, so just keep going.

Because every letter is a combination of different strokes, you should spend most of your time

learning those basic strokes first.

I know it's hard to resist the temptation and jump straight to letters or even words,

but you'll only get frustrated when your writting won't look good enough.

The best advice I can give you is this; practice only a single basic stroke per day for the

first two weeks or so.

Write out a full sheet of paper each day, but do it slowly and really concentrate on

making it look right.

Now, I realise how boring that sounds, believe me, but the basic strokes are the foundation

of everything.

Then when you're ready to move on to individual letters, keep doing it the same way.

One sheet of paper per day is just the right balance before you lose your concentration.

I've kept all of my practice sheets and you can clearly see the difference.

After about two months, I was able to write my own wedding invitations and I'll make a

separate video on how to do those as well.

Again, it takes time so don't be discouraged and keep practicing, but force yourself

not to rush it.

Make every stroke count and better than the last.

Keep going and before long, you won't believe what you'll be able to create.

It really is one of the most satisfying hobbies and one that's available to everybody.

As always, let me know if you need help with anything and until next time, happy writing.

And that's when Vamprah returned for the 2nd time, or maybe it was the 3rd time, it kind of runs together at this point.

Wow! I can't believe all the stories are true.

How did you survive such treachery?

A lot of luck and a bit of smarts. Oh, and guns, lots of guns.

Speaking of guns, I was watching the combat training between you and Striker...

Wasn't that awesome?

Uhh......no I was not impressed

Oh.

You've got an entire armory filled with. Impressive weapons just sitting here collecting dust.

Life Car TV - VW Exec Says T-Roc Cabrio Doesn't Make Any Sense, But They'll Still Make It - Duration: 2:50.

Volkswagen took everyone by surprise earlier this year when they announced a convertible version of the T-Roc SUV

The open top model is due in 2020, with a few revisions over its fixed roof sibling, which will make it a bit heavier

VW was criticized for this decision, as convertible crossovers haven't been a hit with buyers

Heck, even execs within the car firm admit that the T-Roc Cabriolet doesn't make much sense

One of them is the brand's sales chief, Jurgen Stackmann, who spoke briefly to Autocar on the topic

"It's a car we all wanted to make. There isn't a huge market for it – that sort of car is only popular in a small number of countries – but we felt passionately we should do it", said Stackmann

Also Read: VW T-Roc R Looks Like A 305 HP Sleeper In Latest Spy Photos Volkswagen will start manufacturing the T-Roc Cabriolet in the second half of 2020

The vehicle will be put together at its Osnabruck plant in Germany, where the firm used to produce the Golf Cabriolet

The facility is currently in charge with assembling the Volkswagen Tiguan and Porsche Cayman, and to prepare for the new convertible crossover, it will receive an €80 million (~$93 million) investment

By the time the T-Roc Cabriolet hits production, the current fixed-roof model will be 3 years old

Thus, we wouldn't be surprised if Volkswagen decides to give it a mid-life cycle makeover

Until then, though, the German automaker will probably preview it with a concept at a future international auto show

Johnny Depp performs with the Hollywood Vampires in France - Duration: 3:07.

Johnny Depp performs with the Hollywood Vampires in France

He has been touring the UK with his Hollywood Vampire band mates. And Johnny Depp and the rest of his group took their raucous performance to Hellfest metal music festival on Friday.

Following a string of sold-out gigs, Johnny, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry took their show to Clisson, western France.

The supergroup, formed by Alice in 2015, is focused on honouring the music of the rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s.

They have been wowing crowds with their covers of the legends songs, and Friday night was no different as they flaunted their rocker credentials. Johnny appeared effortlessly cool as he donned a black suit which was embroidered with decorative white patterns.

The Hollywood actor teamed his performance attire with an open-neck white shirt and a pair of aviator shades, as he rocked out on his guitar.

The show come shortly after Johnny was asked about his health by a German journalist, prompting panic among the large Depp camp and a subsequent publicity crisis, The Times Magazine reported.

The status of Depps health made for a hot topic on social media after the Edward Scissorhands actor was snapped with fans at the Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace in St.

Johnny, who is the object of many fans affections, sported a noticeably thinner face in the shots.

The actor was enjoying good health and did not have any ailments, a source revealed to DailyMail. com earlier this month after the public buzz over his well-being.

Johnny, who remains in demand in Tinseltown, has five films currently in different states of production, including Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Richard Says Goodbye, City of Lies, London Fields and The Invisible Man.

It was not immediately clear if he was shedding pounds for one of the parts.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - which production ended on late last year - required a shaved head and bleached eyebrows for the role of Gellert Grindelwald.

HINO - Duration: 2:31.

Adored Land

Amongst thousand others,

art thou, Brazil, oh, beloved homeland!

Of the sons of this ground Thou art kind mother,

beloved homeland, Brazil!

Eternally lying on a splendid cradle,

to the sound of the sea and under the deep skylight

thou flashes, Brazil, crocket of America

illuminated by the sun of the New World!

Than the more garish land,

thy smiling, pretty prairies have more flowers

"Our groves have more life".

"Our life" in thy bosom "more loves"

Oh, beloved, idolized homeland!

Hail, hail!

Brazil, of eternal love be a symbol

The starred labarum which thou display

and say the laurel-green of this pennant,

"Peace in the future and glory in the past."

But if thou raises the strong mace of justice,

see that a son of thine flees not from battle,

nor do those who love thee fear their own death.

Adored Land,

amongst thousand others,

art thou, Brazil, oh, beloved homeland!

Of the sons of this ground thou art kind mother,

beloved homeland, Brazil!

We made it to the finals.

We don't have the title yet but I can smell the 6th championship!

-That's our goal. -Great.

One thing everyone remembers is the Brazilian National Anthem.

Could you sing the National for us,

so we can relive that moment?

Right, the Anthem is amazing.

The Brazilian National Anthem brings everyone to tears.

It's hard not to cry.

You can't help it really.

It's so emotional!

True. But can you sing it for us?

We all know all the lyrics for the Brazilian National Anthem.

Sometimes, it's hard to sing because we choke out of emotion.

Sing it for us. Give us a preview.

Come on! It's that same-old thing we all know.

It starts with "the shores" and then it goes on and on.

People at home know it, right??

Down to "Beloved homeland, Brazil!"

But I want to hear you singing the whole thing.

The whole thing?

The National Anthem... I don't think we have time.

It's time for the commercial break.

-The Anthem is long, you know? -We have time.

La futura mamma, Angela Robusti, ha 28 anni, capelli biondi, occhi azzurri, è una modella e corteggiatrice del programma Uomini e donne

VW Golf R 480HP & Golf R36 Supercharged 415HP Review by AutoTopNL (English Subtitles) - Duration: 10:36.

This one's for the VW fanboys!

And a nice combo

for when a VW fanboy gets married!

Something old

something new

something borrowed

something blue

And we start with something old

and something blue

The VW Golf 4 R32

or in this case..

R36

This car is from a client

of TVS Engineering

A company you may know

DSG Doctor

is how they are called

They are the masterminds

of DSG gearboxes

and

what is a nicer tribute

to that gearbox

than this Golf 4 R32?

The first car in the world

to have a DSG

The owner of this car is a massive fan!

He put some serious money in this machine

First of all

the R32 engine has been ditched

for a Passat R36 engine

WITH a supercharger

They not only do gearboxes..

But also build great engines!

And with this supercharger

this 300HP engine

now develops 415HP!

You can even get more out of it..

If you have a bigger supercharger

it's that simple..

If you have some mechanical know how

some experience

You can install it yourself!

They developed it as a PLUG & PLAY

You can have it send to you

and you install it..

Which I can recommend to every R32 owner

R32's are the most beautiful VW R products

ever made!

But fast?

No.. Would't call it that

That N/A engine has no torque

and the cars are too heavy.

YES

they do sound great!

but

If you come across a Golf GTI

you will have trouble beating it..

Is this a fancy DSG?

NO

They just changed the software

This is the original unit

and my god

what a difference!

It's the same unit as in the Golf 4 R32

Golf 5 R32

and the Golf 6 R

But this has TVS software

Which makes for such a difference

in response

shift times

when you use the peddals..

It's sharper and faster

Just nicer!

The best thing about this car

with those Porsche brakes!

As I said

the owner spent some serious money..

It's like this was a special VAG project car

Using all their parts to build the ultimate VW R

OK

so we had something old and blue

Lets get something new and borrowed

Obviously this is new

A golf 7 R

as standard it has 300HP

This is the phase 1

and the phase 2 has 310 HP

It's also something borrowed

Because

It no longer has the stock DSG

This has the DQ500 now

TVS offers a DQ500 conversion kit

"Is that a friend of R2D2?"

NO

It's the gearbox from the Audi RS3 and TT RS

Which is the ultimate DSG

The ultimate gearbox by the VW group

Which you find in the TT RS and RS3

What are the benefits?

well..

There are a lot!

This gearbox can handle 1000NM

bizar

and

Gone is that Playstation feel

When you put this in manual mode

Downshift..

You FEEL the gears

You feel the mechanical parts working

and

That lack of feel of the stock DSG

is completely gone..

Which I think is the Golf R's major downside

that Playstation feel..

They also did something to the engine

It now has 480HP

It has a 500HP Turbo

But they tuned it to 480HP and 600NM

Which is such a differrence

compared to the stock 300HP

A whole new ball game

unreal..

This thing is so fast!

Because of the 4Motion

you can really use the power

and we have a small computer here

Which measures 0-100 times

I didn't know this was possible

but Max just did a 2.95!

to 100 km/h

INSANE!

You feel that this is a Golf R PLUS ^2

It does everything the stock car can do

But better and more violent

more experience too

better performance..

But it still drives as if VW made it.

That's because it also has the Stage 3 software

for the gearbox

and the engine.

The gearbox now has PDK like speed!

And the response to the peddals is so sharp..

Absurd

You don't notice ANY delay

The best thing is

that they have ONE demand

Which we also have with tuning:

You have to be able to use it every day.

It has to work!

What also works

is a 2 stage Launch Control

With which you can get those insane numbers

Normally a Golf R launches at 3000RPM

This one; a little more..

It's a bit slower than Max's run

But he just had lunch!

3.59

in a Golf R!

What a great day

The dream of every VW fanboy

I really think the ultimate VW's are made

at TVS Engineering

They really are the masterminds

of DSG and TSI

They have a worldwide dealer network

So it's available everywhere!

I'm going to enjoy it a bit more

Really cool to experience the old VW R

with that Golf 4 R32

and the new

with this Golf 7 R

Both are awesome!

They are so different

that it makes me wonder

what a TVS car will be like in ten years?

Stay tuned for that episode..

There's really only one rule when it comes to copperplate;

whenever the pen is moving upwards, known as an upstroke, it should barely touch the paper.

Yeah, well we don't exactly know how to use them.

We kind of just take from Regalius just to take.

What You Don't Know About Jazzmyne - Duration: 11:18.

(soft music)

- A lot of times on social media

it might look like people have the perfect lives

or like nothing has ever gone wrong,

but realistically we know that's not true.

So I'm tracking down some of my friends

that you probably already follow

to have them tell you something

about themselves that you probably don't know.

Because by telling these stories

that we don't normally share on a public platform,

we can find out who's behind the handle

and all grow together.

So first up, here's my friend Jazzmyne.

(light music)

- My name is Jazzmyne and I am a video producer at Buzzfeed.

I feel like people see me online as many different things.

People consider me to be very confident.

I'm going to be walking in a runway show

as a plus-sized woman for the first time.

Very I hope to be empowering to people

and I hope to push people out of their comfort zones

and help them feel good about that.

Some people might think of me as a bitch though too.

So, (laughs) that's fine.

I would describe my social media

to be kind of like me which changes day by day.

I post often,

because I really like my outfits a lot.

(laughs) I also do it for visibility purposes.

I just want at least once a day

someone to see a story or a picture

of something of mine and to feel seen.

But there's something you might not know about me.

A lot of my close friends know about me,

a lot of my family know this about me,

I think the only times I've talked about this publicly

is when I'm feeling super vulnerable.

I'm also like nervous. (chuckles)

It's a lot to talk about, like we all have history.

Knowing this backstory will either make people

be like oh, that makes sense or oh,

that's doesn't make sense,

why does she look like this?

There's just so much room for judgment.

(sighs)

- Now we can just kind of like go back to the beginning

and just talk about what we've been

kind of beating around the bush about.

- Oh, okay.

So, setting up the full picture here.

I'm from a very small town with a lot of cornfields

and a lot of people who didn't look like me.

Everybody in my town was very small,

everyone was very blonde or had very long hair.

I was the only person of color for a long time

and that got to me.

I was like 10 looking like I was 15,

already went through all these changes

that my friends didn't understand.

And my dad's black, my mom's white,

I had like curly hair, I was darker than all my friends

who wanted to be as black as me or as tan as me.

It was a hard time.

So by the time I go to high school,

it was rough just trying to be myself.

And the one place that I was allowed

to be myself was in volleyball.

I played volleyball all my life and I loved it.

But it got to this point where

I was around 16 years old

and everything was just coming at me so fast.

I was the captain of the team,

I was the first team all-conference,

getting good grades, I was also working,

I was doing travel volleyball.

I always had so much pressure

and I always put myself to that pressure,

even if people weren't telling me about it,

I was putting it on myself regardless.

So a lot just got to me and then it came to a point

where I heard there was another girl

in my class who was like people knew

that she had an eating disorder or a problem with eating.

And for some reason that like sparked an interest in me.

There was so much just going around

and running crazy that the one thing

that I could focus on was the food

and how I eat it and if I don't eat it.

So when I was 15 normally what I would do

is I would not eat for a very long amount of time.

If I did eat like an actual meal,

the first thing I would do is make myself sick afterwards.

I obviously was not okay to think that

an eating disorder sounded like

that's the only way I could get control into my life.

It would go periods of like eating

maybe a meal per two days

or I would get sick after every time I ate.

It would get almost immediate to the effect

where I almost felt sick after I ate,

because I knew I was gonna make myself sick.

Tons of people would compliment

oh, you're looking so good,

oh, have you lost weight?

And I'm like oh, I'm starving myself for two days.

Thanks.

Of course people don't know this

and of course people are being nice,

but I dunno, people only know what they see I guess.

- [Female] Did anyone around you know

that this was going on?

- Nobody around me knew that this was going on,

nobody at all.

I told my best friend at the time

and she was the person that actually

drove me to telling my family.

She was just so worried about me

and was like your family needs to know this,

if you don't tell them, I'm going to tell them.

And you know when your friends pull that card,

like what are you supposed to do?

I think she maybe allowed me sit on it

for like two weeks and then I told my family.

It was about a year between me starting

my eating disorder and me telling my family.

When I told my family this I remember

we were sitting at our kitchen table

and I was like hysterically crying.

I told them all together, my mom, my dad, and my brother,

that I had been starving myself

and I've been getting sick every time after I ate.

And oh, they just broke down.

Yeah, it sucked to let people down that care about you.

- [Female] Yeah.

- My family, first of all they were distraught

that I would do something like that.

I also was like a very good child.

I remember my mom immediately the next day

printed out all these things you can do

if your child has an eating disorder

and got me a book.

And she really, really tried hard.

But eventually I found a therapist and went to therapy.

I was going through my mom's emails

and I found an email between her

and my aunt talking about it

and it like tore me apart of how sad she was for me.

So that sucked.

And then were was one time in therapy

where I was talking to her in this room

and I passed out because I hadn't eaten anything

and then I woke back up and everyone

was like freaking out around me telling me what happened.

And I was like okay, this is where I need

to reevaluate my life.

I'm really hurting the people around me,

I'm putting myself in danger.

That was kind of my breaking point

of like I need to stop doing this.

I went to my therapy appointment early

and my therapist was in the office

and the door was cracked

and she was talking to her boss.

He was like okay, if she's getting this bad

then we need to submit her to go to rehab.

And I heard him say those words and she agreed.

And I was like oh, I can't, I can't do that.

Like where in my life timeline

that I have mapped out for me for the next few years,

where is rehab going to fit?

I started freaking out and I went to that

one therapy appointment, we talked about stuff,

and then I like immediately stopped after that.

- [Female] Because then going to rehab

would have made you be out of control.

- Yes, yes, exactly.

Going to rehab would've meant that my control

would be in somebody else's hands.

I couldn't do that.

So I was like you know what,

I don't need to be doing this anymore.

- [Female] So then you just stopped kinda cold turkey.

- Yeah, I completely stopped, didn't look back. (chuckles)

(soft music)

Having an eating disorder is still

a really big part of my life.

I don't think about directly starving myself

or making myself sick,

but there are things that definitely trigger me

that I'm a lot more sensitive to.

I forgot to eat all day

or oh, I just lost track of time.

And I'm like, I never lose track of time, it's breakfast.

(laughs)

I feel like my body now,

it's so weird because a lot of people

think it's up for discussion and it's not.

I currently love what I look like and I have for awhile.

Like I think that I have a problem to be honest.

I could put on 20 pounds and I will walk around

like I just dropped 50.

I always look at myself and I'm like damn,

like someone's gonna want this.

And it's me. (laughs)

So that's all that matters, you know?

I get so many comments on YouTube

to the point where like I'm numb.

My favorite comment that I ever see over and over again

is I don't know why, but I hate Jazzmyne.

I know you hate me because you're not familiar

with a bigger woman with no hair wearing lipstick,

wearing whatever the hell she wants

and being confident at the same time.

You're not familiar with that

and that's how I know I'm doing my job correctly.

For me personally, it is always going to be a time

and a point in my life and to watch that growth is amazing.

And so I don't necessarily think

that's it's something you have to be

ashamed of or embarrassed of.

We're all people and we're all going through things

and all's we wanna do is just feel good and be loved.

And to be loved by ourselves.

At the end of the day,

I'm living with me 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I mean you gotta be happy with that.

So now you know this about me

and hopefully this helped you

and can help you empower yourself and everybody around you.

- [Female] It's perfect, cool.

Let's cut.

(bright music)

10 Things You Don't Learn In School - Duration: 8:33.

Brainy Dose Presents:

10 Things You Don't Learn In School

Though high school and college are excellent at teaching many valuable skills, they don't

teach many aspects necessary to succeed and thrive in life.

And some of these skills are essential to have!

In this video, we have compiled the most important things that every person needs to learn in

order to navigate relationships and careers, and to be a well-rounded, successful individual.

Number 1 - How To Think

You have many duties and responsibilities in life.

And the decisions you make have serious consequences.

Some immediate, and some delayed, affecting not only you, but others as well.

Making the right choices could literally mean the difference between happiness and remorse,

success and failure, and so on.

You need to be equipped with the ability to think through scenarios and situations which

inevitably come up in life.

Number 2 - Conversation Skills

Throughout your life, you will find yourself surrounded by other people.

Be it your family, spouse friends, co-workers or boss.

All of your interactions will require certain social norms, such as mutual respect and give-and-take.

Today's younger generation, are more accustomed to communicating mostly via text messages,

email, and social media.

With this relatively new type of communication, their personal communication skills tend to

lag behind.

This can sometimes result in social isolation and not learning from others' experiences

and mistakes.

Lacking proper communication skills could be stifling in various ways and even become

a barrier to rewarding careers and relationships.

Knowing when to speak, when to listen, and how to connect with others are all valuable

skills important in the workplace and in relationships.

Number 3 - How to Handle Money

Handling money responsibly is a very important thing to learn, and the sooner you learn,

the better.

If you study business, accounting or finance, you will learn about procedures, financing

arrangements and business structures, but you won't learn all that much about personal

finance, investing and saving.

Another valuable skill not taught in school is how to establish and maintain good credit.

And if you ever want to buy a house or car, you will need good credit.

Otherwise you'll need to have cash and buy outright.

That being said, many people don't know how interest is calculated, what a good interest

rate is, how your credit score is affected, and how minimums are calculated!

Number 4 - Relationships & Family

Being in a relationship, having a family, and raising children are all hard work.

Don't get me wrong.

I'm not saying they're bad things, they're actually all great things, but maintaining

a marriage over several decades is hard work.

It requires understanding, respect, a strong connection built over time, dedication, and

many other factors.

And, well, not everyone is cut out for it, but they don't teach you anything about

it in school.

Raising children is equally challenging.

It's unlikely that anyone raising a child will tell you that it's all smooth sailing.

Most will tell you that the entire experience is a learning process, and that there was

so much to learn that they didn't know prior to having kids.

Number 5 - Manners

It seems as though manners have been on a steady decline over time.

But having them is indispensable in a civilized society.

Using them properly makes good impressions with people around you, whether it's your

friends, family, teachers, bosses, acquaintances or strangers!

It also makes you more respectable.

In addition to manners, kindness and respect for all people you encounter is important.

If you travel, you should learn about the customs and manners of that society, otherwise

you might come off as ill-mannered and you may even offend others by your actions or

lack of.

Number 6 - Finding A Job

There are two goals of education:

The first is to educate, to make students more knowledgeable, and the second is to prepare

them for the workforce.

Finding a job will be crucial to support yourself and possibly a family.

But unfortunately, many people have no idea how to find a job.

They don't know how to write a decent resume, where to start job hunting, or what employers

are looking for.

Number 7 - Home & Car

For most people, the two most expensive purchases they will make will be a house and a car.

Of course, you will probably replace your car several times in your life, but buying

one is still a big expense.

Both of these purchases involve an extensive process that most people coming out of school

just don't have a clue about.

You need to learn about buying and leasing, and figure out what works best for you.

Then you need to deal with hard driving salesmen that usually don't care about what is best

for you.

They care only about their bottom line, to separate as much money from you as they can.

Then once you have the car, you also need good insurance, and there are certain things

you should know for proper maintenance.

It's pretty much the same when buying and selling a home…

timing, price negotiation, mortgage process and approvals, down payments, dealing with

real estate agents, etc.

And then, maintenance of the home.

Number 8 - Learning From Failure

There's a misconception that failure means you've lost the game in life.

This couldn't be further from the truth.

It's okay to fail!

Failure is a great life teacher.

It teaches humility and how to correct your course of action.

Failure makes you tougher and more capable of navigating life's inevitable ups and

downs.

It helps you keep a realistic viewpoint of the world.

Being afraid of risks is a surefire way to stunt personal development, and when people

realize that failure is actually a part of success, they have breakthroughs.

Number 9 - Time Management

Time management is critical, and most people drastically underestimate its importance.

However, by no means do I imply that every moment of your life should be spent working!

The time you spend on leisure activities, hobbies, self-development, and especially

family time are crucial for being a healthy and happy person.

There should also be certain hours of the day dedicated to your life goals.

Managing time effectively keeps you self-disciplined and focused on your tasks at hand.

Unfortunately, most people manage time ineffectively.

Number 10 - Survival Skills

Accidents can happen at just about any time, and being equipped with the knowledge of first

response is important, not only for your sake, but for those around you.

Everyone should learn essential skills like First Aid and CPR, making a fire, swimming,

reading a compass, navigating a map, and changing a car tire – and that's just to name a

few!

Learning self-defense can also be a valuable skill in protecting yourself, should you ever

fall victim to an attack.

While many schools do teach some of these skills to some degree, they're not a universal

part of the curriculum.

Learning all of these things from an early age would not only be beneficial, but should

also be imperative.

We wouldn't just be smarter, we'd be better people as well.

What else do you think we should learn in school that we don't?

President Trump's Awkward Moments With Ivanka - Duration: 4:26.

There are a lot of aspects of Donald Trump's personal life that have made headlines during

the course of his administration, but his ways of displaying affinity for eldest daughter

Ivanka Trump may be the most unusual.

Unlike his other children, Donald Trump has given Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared

Kushner official positions in the West Wing, which means the scrutiny surrounding their

personal history is even more heightened.

Not only are there several photos of them together in positions that are not typical

for a father and a daughter, but Donald Trump has also publicly spoken of her in terms that

many find to be totally inappropriate.

Here are just some of the times Donald Trump acted inappropriately when it came to how

he treated Ivanka.

Hands-on dad

In July 2016, Ivanka Trump introduced her father at the Republican National Convention,

but while she talked about policy, what a lot of people seem to remember from her appearance

is her father's reaction to her.

After she finished speaking, he joined her on the stage and thanked her with a loose

hug and double cheek kiss.

That might've been harmless enough, but then he reached down and patted her hips and behind

as an awkward send-off, which instantly set the social media world ablaze with criticism

and questions about why he might feel so free to reach for that particular area of his daughter's

body.

Like lover, like daughter

There have been a lot of women whose prior personal dealings with Donald Trump have spelled

out scandal since he took up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but none has received

quite as much media attention as the story of Stephanie Clifford, aka "Stormy Daniels."

Among her many explosive revelations about her relationship with Trump, she said:

"He said, 'Wow, you are special.

You are smart.

You remind me of my daughter.

You're smart, and beautiful and a woman to be reckoned with.

I like you."

Soon after, Karen McDougal, a former Playboy Bunny, told CNN she had a similar experience,

claiming:

"He said I was beautiful like her and, you know, 'You're a smart girl.'

There wasn't a lot of comparing, but there was some.

I heard a lot about her."

The fact that both women came forward about stories of being compared to his daughter

left a lot of people grossed out by his "bizarre" bedroom behavior.

Shared interest?

Before Donald Trump's political ambitions truly came to a head, he and Ivanka appeared

on The Wendy Williams Show in 2013.

One otherwise innocuous question became an excruciating case study in awkwardness.

When asked what she has in common with her father, Ivanka said:

"Either real estate or golf."

When the matter was then turned to him, Donald took it to an entirely different dimension.

"Well, I was going to say sex, but I can't relate that to her."

Ivanka seemed to share the audience's bemused sense of surprise at the comment, but it wasn't

the first time he went there in a TV interview with her.

Career hopes

In 2006, Donald Trump appeared on The View alongside Ivanka.

At the time, the two were sharing the small screen thanks to her joining The Apprentice

as a guest judge, so audiences might have expected the conversation to remain centered

on the subject of their reality work.

However, co-host Star Jones instead opened their segment by asking the very leading question:

"I'm afraid to ask this question, but what what would you do if Playboy put Ivanka on

the cover?"

"This is gonna be an interesting answer."

At first, Trump's response was somewhat ordinary.

"It would be really disappointing.

Not really."

But things started to go right off the rails, when he added:

"I don't think Ivanka would do inside the magazine, although she does have a very nice

figure.

I've said that if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."

Perhaps this is the moment Joy Behar's notoriously strained relationship with the POTUS began

because she retorted:

"Who are you, Woody Allen?"

Locker room talk

One of Donald Trump's most frequent interview haunts throughout the years was Howard Stern's

radio show.

"No matter what I asked him, he would answer."

In 2003, it was Trump himself who brought up the subject of his then-23-year-old daughter's

looks.

"You know who's one of the great beauties of the world according to everybody?

And I helped create her?"

"My daughter Ivanka.

She's six feet tall.

She's got the best body."

In a later appearance in 2004, Stern pressed his luck by saying:

"By the way, your daughter…"

"She's beautiful."

"Can I say this?

A piece of ass (bleep)!"

"Yeah."

"She looks more voluptuous than ever."

"She's actually always been very voluptuous."

For her part, Ivanka seems to take it all with a grain of salt.

"He's definitely not a typical father."

"He's a character."

Why moms are the best employees | Lauren Smith Brody - Duration: 2:57.

There is something called the "motherhood penalty" and essentially it shows that a

mother's earnings dramatically decrease after having one baby.

They continue to decrease after two and three and four.

When you look at fathers and you look at those same charts they're barely impacted in terms

of their pay.

Some of this is tied really directly with just generally the pay gap between men and

women in the United States.

The irony, of course, is that when you look at who actually performs well at work, women

come back to work more capable than they were before they left in many, many cases.

So they are, they have an end, a hard end stop to their day, right?

But this actually makes them more efficient.

If they have been home at leave, if they've been home with a baby on leave that baby has

been the toughest drill sergeant boss you will ever have in your life, and has taught

them to pivot between tasks without really any transition time between.

You know, baby needs one thing, baby needs the next thing, you go, you go, you go, you

do.

And that directly translates, it's been shown by women when they come back to work

they don't need transition time between tasks.

So you hear a lot of women say like "Oh, I'm more efficient because my day is shorter."

Well actually they're more efficient because they don't need that kind of transition

time between tasks.

They compress things and they do things really efficiently—like actually the real definition

of efficient.

Women also sometimes like to say – and I think sometimes we undersell ourselves—They

say "Oh, after parenthood I am much better at saying no to things."

And that is true and that is valid.

But I also ask the women who I speak to to turn that around as well: So yes, you're

better at saying no to things that don't matter, that aren't going to ultimately

benefit your company, benefit your life, help move you along in your career.

Fine.

However, when a new working mom says yes to something—whether it is going out with some

colleagues for a networking drink after work or it is going for a big promotion or taking

on a big new client—when a new working mom says yes to something she has done that compromise

already, that "compromise math" is what I call it in her head to figure out: "How

am I going to make this work?

What am I going to steal time away from so that I can say yes to this?" so that by

the time she gets to yes it's an incredibly strong, incredibly real dedicated yes.

And I think that so much of the way we present ourselves coming back to work requires an

internalization and an understanding of our strengths and of what we can contribute to

the workplace.

Roles Actors Weren't Prepared For - Duration: 5:23.

When it comes to films and television shows, there's a lot riding on an actors' preparedness

for a production.

Even if all of the crew members show up primed and ready to work, everything can fall apart

if the cast doesn't quite have it together.

These stars got creative and engaged in some last-minute scrambling to make up for the

fact that they weren't quite prepared for their roles when they signed on.

Big Momma's coma

In 1999, the world almost lost Martin Lawrence when the actor collapsed and fell into a coma

outside his L.A. home due to severe heat-related exhaustion.

Lawrence's condition was so serious that for several days he required a ventilator just

to breathe.

It all happened largely because he chose to work out while wearing a big plastic suit

in 100-degree weather to try and get in shape for Big Momma's House.

"Please, I recommend do not run in a plastic suit.

Do not do that."

Luckily, he went on to make a full recovery, but the media criticized Lawrence's decision

to get in shape since he wouldn't have many opportunities to show off his abs in costume

anyway.

But walking around in an 80-pound bodysuit still required some fitness preparation, even

if Lawrence took it too far.

Tuned out

Prior to physically appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Vision, Paul Bettany

never bothered to watch a single film in the Iron Man franchise, despite providing the

vocals for Jarvis, the hero's trusty AI sidekick.

"Miss Potts is approaching.

I recommend that you…"

"MUTE!"

Even when he was recording his lines as Jarvis, Bettany didn't even get a full version of

the script and had no context for the dialogue pieces he read.

"As Jarvis, I would turn up at the end of

the movie and speak into a microphone for two hours and they'd give me a big whopping,

great bag of cash."

Bettany's indifference to the franchise was such that he admitted to feeling like a "pirate"

when he took his money, and often had to tell fans he had no idea who the character was

when he was approached to speak about what is now one of his most famous roles.

Liquid courage

Undressing in front of one person is hard enough, so it's gotta be especially awkward

for an actor to strip on camera, with a whole crew watching from the wings.

For Margot Robbie, her breakout role in The Wolf of Wall Street called for her to be in

the buff quite a bit, and she knew the shots would be ruined if her nervousness came through

on-camera.

With little time to prepare herself for one scene of extreme exposure, decided to do what

a lot of people might do for a confidence boost, and pounded three shots of tequila

before stripping down and nailing the scene in one take.

Meanwhile, co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill weren't very familiar with the

effects of most of the drugs they were supposed to pretend to take on-screen, so both had

to be coached on how to act convincingly high.

"Steve."

"STEEEVE."

In fact, DiCaprio was so unsure about how to act, he'd later admit that he spent hours

watching this YouTube video of a guy drunkenly rolling around on the floor to better shape

his performance.

Learning the lingo

When Jackie Chan first arrived in the U.S. in the 1980s, he was reportedly unable to

speak even basic English and quickly set about teaching himself how to communicate by absorbing

Western media.

He came to America alone to "immerse himself in the English-speaking world" and learn the

language that way.

Although Chan did pick up on English pretty well over the years, he still had trouble

reading scripts as late as the Rush Hour series and had to learn the lines for many of his

Western films phonetically.

"Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?"

Sometimes, crews would take advantage of this and make Chan say swear words or things he

didn't mean, just for laughs.

"I'm into feet.

I like the one with the horses.

What's that mean?

What he teach me?"

Doing dialect

Most of the actors in Games of Thrones have accents based on where in the fictional world

of Westeros they hail from, relative to the geography of the U.K.

For example, characters hailing from the North have thick Northern accents, whereas those

from the south speak with accents commonly found in the more southerly parts of the U.K.

Production was reportedly insistent that the actors playing the sons of Ned Stark should

adopt Sean Bean's native Yorkshire accent, but Kit Harington had no idea that this would

be expected of him and auditioned for the role of Jon Snow in his native southern accent.

Although he was told he was a good match for the character, he still needed to speak more

like his on-screen dad before the cameras started rolling.

So Harington—along with the rest of the actors expected to portray Ned Stark's sons—had

to rush to ready their new dialects to match their daddy's off-screen affectation.

Getting ripped

Upon being cast to play infamous British criminal Charles Bronson, a man so dangerously violent

and superhumanly built he once punched clean through bulletproof glass in a fit of anger,

Tom Hardy met with the man himself to see if he'd sign off his portrayal.

Bronson was unimpressed with Hardy's physique, however, and initially said no.

Hoping to change Bronson's mind, Hardy started bulking up after their first meeting, consuming

nothing but pizza, ice cream, chicken and rice while exercising as hard as he could.

Two weeks later, he'd bulked up enough for Bronson to realize he was committed to physically

portraying him.

The fact that Hardy also brought Bronson a muffin and some milkshakes also likely didn't

hurt.

Along with giving the actor his blessing, Bronson also shaved off his mustache and mailed

it to Hardy, hoping the makeup department could figure out a way to glue it to his face.

Failing that, Bronson hoped Hardy could carry the clippings around in his pocket as a good

luck charm.

It's unclear which option Hardy chose.

Ghost Caught On Camera? : 5 SHADOW PEOPLE - Duration: 11:05.

In the world of the supernatural, shadow people are considered to be ghosts, creatures, or

entities that appear in the form of shadows, sometimes taking a human-like form.

By far the most bizarre and scary aspect of the phenomenon is that people have claimed

to witness these shadow people for 100s of years.

And the reports come from people in every country, with completely different cultures

and backgrounds, all across the world.

In this list, we count down the Top 5 Shadow People Caught on Camera.

Something's In the Basement For months, a man had been hearing strange noises

coming from his house's basement late at night.

He said it sounded like someone repeatedly going up and down his basement steps.

His wife dismissed his worries, saying that it was probably just their cats roaming around,

or the dog making noises from his cage in the kitchen.

So one night, the man hears noises from the basement again.

But the cats are upstairs.

And the family dog can be heard whimpering, as if disturbed by the strange sounds.

In this video, the man claimed that after getting footage of this bizarre shadow person

or ghost caught on camera, he was now looking for a new home, because he

believed the house was haunted.

Cut to 6 months later, and the man posted an update.

True to his word, he had now moved his family to a new house.

Unfortunately, he believes that the ghost or entity from his old house followed them

to their new home.

So

what do you think?

Is this evidence of shadow people?

Is this a ghost caught on camera?

Or just a hoax?

Let me know what you think in the comments.

Shadow Person in the Underground Late one night at the Knightsbridge station

of the London Underground railway system, a man is filming down the tracks.

He catches something scary that is definitely NOT a train.

The strange figure of what appears to be a shadow person seems to jump onto the tracks

and disappear into the darkness.

Is it a shadow person?

Is it a ghost caught on tape?

Or is it just a bit of clever editing.

Let me know what you think.

Hiding in The Shadows A couple are hanging around the house one

night, when the guy's girlfriend begins to hear strange noises.

She grabs her phone and begins to film.

As the couple flees the apartment, we see one final random pan around the living room.

Lurking in the corner of the room, there's SOMETHING hunched over in the darkness.

Is it a ghost caught on camera?

Is it real-life proof of the existence of shadow people?

Or just a fake?

You decide.

Moorpark Shadow Person This next video was filmed in Moorpark, California,

all the way back in September 1989.

Now, keep the age of this video in mind as you watch, because when this video was recorded

and shown to the public, home video editing and effects software like Adobe Premiere and

After Effects didn't even exist.

This is straight-up video of a shadow person caught on camera.

The shape appears in the corner of a bedroom that was believed to be haunted by the owners of the house.

The strange shadow being can even be seen reflected in the dresser mirror.

Many paranormal experts have dubbed this video "the most convincing paranormal video ever recorded",

and also the most convincing proof of the existence of shadow people.

So is this scary video of a ghost caught on camera?

Is it a shadow person?

Or did this man somehow find a way to pull off an amazing fake ghost video even without

the aid of computer editing software?

Let me know what you think down in the comments.

Kinect Shadow People This next clip that claims to show a shadow person

has become somewhat of a classic on the internet.

Twitch streamer FacelessKnights is testing out the Kinect camera on his recently purchased

Xbox One.

When he switches the camera over to infrared mode, he finds something truly strange.

After his ghost caught on camera video went viral, Faceless Knights got ALOT of angry

comments claiming that he had faked the whole thing.

Youtube commenters said that the video was obviously fake because the camera angle changes

between shots and his t-shirt also seems to change.

So Faceless Knights made another video, this time streaming LIVE on Twitch, demonstrating

that he had not edited the Kinect camera shots

at all.

So what do you think?

Did Faceless Knights produce evidence of shadow people on his Xbox kinect?

Is this a ghost caught on camera?

Or just an elaborate fake?

1000 Pillar Temple - Impossible Ancient Technology Found? - Duration: 6:47.

Hey guys, today we are going to look at one of the strangest ancient sites in India - this

is the Thousand Pillar Temple which is at least 750 years old.

On first sight, it looks like a regular temple, but there is something fundamentally different

about this temple, because there are no visible joints at all between the stone blocks in

the walls of this temple.

This is a large temple, but look carefully as I go from the ground to the top, do you

see any joints?

This makes people wonder if this entire temple is made of one solid rock, like the Kailasa

Temple, but archeologists confirm that it is in fact made of many many blocks of stone.

In 1300 A.D , an army of the Muslim King Allauddin Khalji tried to demolish this temple, and

they took out many of the stone blocks from the ground and the ceiling, because it was

easier to dismantle them, but they could not dismantle the blocks on the walls.

If you look at the floor, these are newer stone slabs placed by the Archeology department,

and you can see how these blocks are loosely connected.

If you compare the modern day stone masonry with the ancient technique, modern technology

appears quite primitive, because you can clearly see the joints.

The archeology department has been trying to restore the temple from the destruction

and graffiti by Allauddin Khalji's army.

Now, why is this temple called 'The thousand pillar temple'?

Most visitors wonder why this is known as the thousand pillar temple because it doesn't

have a thousand pillars.

It is called so because it is made of one thousand blocks of stone, this is the actual

reason why this name is used.

But even in most sophisticated temples like the Lepakshi temple, we can see clear evidence

of joints between the blocks, but in this temple, the joints are not visible.

What is fascinating is that there was no cement, mortar, or glue used to join these blocks.

How did ancient builders achieve such an extraordinary level of jointing, many centuries ago?

What kind of technology existed and how was such a temple built?

The underlying technology is this: Ancient builders created a complex interlocking system

with at least a dozen different cuts in each stone block.

These complex cuts maximize the amount of surface area shared by the connecting blocks,

and will create an extremely tight fit.

This is hard enough to do between 2 stone blocks, but imagine using several stone blocks

on all sides and how many cuts would have been needed to connect 4 or 5 blocks together.

I mean, this is just an extraordinary technology.

This can be done on wood, but how did they manage to make these cuts on large stone blocks

many centuries ago?

Making these cuts is one thing, but the level of precision, to make these joints invisible

can be achieved only with advanced machines.

We can clearly see that building a massive temple with no visible joints is impossible

with primitive tools.

Did ancient builders use cutting, drilling and polishing tools, just like today?

If so, do we have any evidence of these tools in the temple itself?

How about these carvings which resemble modern drilling and polishing tools?

In most temples, we usually see carvings of Gods, but in this temple, we can see these

tool like carvings, with a conical, striated top with a long shaft, which is remarkably

similar to modern day tool bits.

Just compare these carvings with today's tool bits side by side.

You have to admit there is an uncanny similarity.

Is this a coincidence, or did ancient builders use tool bits just like us, to make these

precise interlocking system?

The pillars in the temple confirm that drilling machines were in fact used.

There are very tiny holes drilled on these pillars.

My friend is struggling to send a thread through the small holes, but these holes are too small

even for a thread.

The priest is happy to help us, he picks up something thinner than a thread and inserts

it successfully through these holes.

If you think these carvings are not drill bits, how do you explain such tiny holes carved

on the pillars?

How do you explain the construction of an entire temple with no visible joints?

Were they created with advanced machines, or with simple tools like chisels and hammers?

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments section.

Republicans Reward Disgusting Companies For Hiding Profits Overseas - Duration: 7:34.

The new tax law the Republicans have been praising is actually rewarding companies for

hiding their money overseas.

I mean, I don't have ... That's exactly what it is.

We're gonna give you a break.

We want you to take the money.

All that money that you made because of the tax breaks that you said you were going to

share with employees.

You said you were going to spread the wealth.

Well, no, they didn't spread the wealth.

What they want to do is hide it overseas now.I can't make this up.

They're following this and here's what.

Here's what they're finding.

They're finding, first of all that the companies that are that were arguing, "Give us a tax

break and it's going to trickle down."

The first thing you're doing is they're buying back their own stock.

Okay?

That's number one.

Number two is they're giving their CEOs more money.

They're giving management more money.

This is exactly ... And number three, then they hide what they have left offshore, overseas.

Then this is how it goes.

They come back to the government and they say, they negotiate.

Look, you know, was it ... $40 billion dollars as we speak, about $40 billion window is overseas.

Worth of tax revenue.

Yeah, that's all we know of this point.

$40 billion.

Okay, so $40 billion's overseas being hidden in Ireland or the Bahamas.

Somewhere.

Somewhere out in Hide Your Money Land.

Okay, so in Hide your Money Land.

They then say to the government, "We'll bring it back in if you let us bring it in by paying

two percent taxes on it."

They basically ... It's just extortion.

First of all, they're breaking the law most of the time if you really followed it, there'd

be ways to show they're breaking the law.

But when it comes back in, they negotiated with the government, say, you know, give us

a break and we'll bring it back.

And just basically holding the US government hostage.

Right?

And we've seen it too many times in recent years during the Bush and Obama though, they'll

these tax holiday where you can bring it back right now, you're not going to pay any money

on it.

Just bring it back to the United States.

So one of the big selling points that they used to sell this tax break was we've got

companies hiding so much money off shore, which is true, but if we lower taxes, they're

going to bring it all back.

And no, because lower taxes is not what corporations want.

No taxes is what corporations want.

But these idiots who wrote this bill actually wrote this in there.

Right now, if you hide your money offshore and bring it back ... or excuse me, before

the bill, it was 22%, you paid on it.

They lowered it from 22% to nine percent.

So they have actually given more incentive for these companies like [Abvee 00:02:43],

that was just exposed in this Reuters report.

What they do is, their headquarters is here in the United States.

They're the ones, by the way, that make testosterone, that's killing men all over the country.

Right, so they're based out of Chicago.

They do all their work out of Chicago, but they actually claim their headquarter is down

in the Bahamas.

So that's where all the profits go, all the money goes to the Bahamas.

So none of it is technically US income, even though all the business is here.

So now when they bring it back, instead of paying 22%, they'll get to pay nine percent.

And because of the way the crazy business laws work, they can show we didn't make a

profit in the United States.

We made-

It actually shows as a loss and they get to take a tax break on top, on top of the hell,

only having to pay nine percent.

They get another tax break by gaming it to where it looks like a loss.

And that is exactly what they wrote into the law, under the tax law.

So let me clear something up.

Well, not clear it up, but let me add to that.

The same people who wrote these kinds of tax laws.

Remember the last time we're going to ... we're going to cut the taxes for people at the top

and we're going to cut it for corporations and they're then going to spend all that money

on employees and making their lives for employees better.

That's what they said.

Same people who said that, that's what they said.

And now we see everything is just the opposite of that.

Not a bit of truth to it.

The Supreme Court this week decided not to rule on two gerrymandering cases, which means

that this year's midterm elections could be decided before for the voting even begins.

Really, if you take a look at it, everything is set up in gerrymandering.

We almost know we can predict very closely what's going to happen just by understanding

what the gerrymandering setup was.

Everybody was hopeful that we would get a fix to this before 2020, right?

2020 I think is when we, when we start reevaluating gerrymandering.

But that's you know, that's after the election.

So this idea, first of all, the blue wave that we keep talking about, some of the blue

wave was built into the idea that we're going to change gerrymandering.

Right.

And so when you hear the blue wave is getting ready to take place, it's not all that everybody

hates Trump.

It is that they thought the gerrymandering was going to help the blue wave come back.

What is your take on this story?

It's disappointing.

First of all, and these were two unanimous decisions by the Supreme Court to remand these

back down to the lower courts, which means they're going to be caught up for months and

months.

So we're not going to get any answers in 2018, basically.

But the two cases that they heard about, were both very interesting.

One of them, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Democrats were able to really prove that Republicans gerrymandered the state districts.

Oh, there's no question.

Did you see pictures of it?

Yeah.

The picture is like this is, you know, it'll be one little thin stripe across part of the

state and then it makes an L.

Yeah, and Democrats won 50% of the vote in Wisconsin, but Republicans won 60 out of the

99 seats.

Of where they needed to be and votes were where they needed to be.

Yeah.

And so, but then in Maryland, the other case, it was the opposite.

The Democrats took control from Republicans.

Gerrymandered those districts to where Republicans couldn't win.

Same scenario.

Republicans get more votes, but Democrats get more seats.

So the argument here in the past, it had typically been gerrymandering was done based on race.

Race was always ... Race was always that car.

We can show it was raised and the Supreme Court comes back and says, "Ah, it's not race."

This is political bias.

Do you have a First Amendment grounds to file this case?

So that's where it's very interesting.

Let me explain that just a second.

Race is what we call a suspect classification where it comes to the Supreme Court, looking

at something, it rises to what we call to review.

The importance of review becomes more important.

So they said, look back when you were talking about race.

Yeah, we would agree with you that our scrutiny of this law had to be higher, but now they're

way out.

And that's all this is.

It's their way of saying, "We don't really think it's racial.

We think it's just political, you know, we think it's one side Republican, the other

side Democrat, that you're not happy with the politics of it, you're not giving us a

reason for a higher scrutiny, doesn't fall in race, doesn't fall into gender, doesn't

fall into civil rights or anything like that.

Therefore we're really not going to give it a higher review."

You know, blue wave?

This is gonna affect it.
