148초를 기록하며 세계 신기록을 기록했다고 밝혔다. 기차 부문 신기록을 목표로 출전한 폴크스바겐의 I

D. R 파이크스 피크는 2013년 기록된 세계신기록 (8 13.878초, 세바스티앵 뢰브(Sébastien Loe )을 무려 16초나 단축하며 마의 8분벽을 돌파했다

19.99 km, 156개의 코너로 이뤄진 산악코스를 단한번의 시도로 주파해야 하는 파이크스 피크 인터내셔널 힐 클라임 대회를 정복하기 위해서는 특별한 스포츠카가 필요하다

차체의 중량은 최소화하면서 최대한의 다운포스와 강력한 성능을 구현해야 했는데, 폴크스바겐은 배터리 셀을 포함해 게가 1,100kg에 미치지 않는 680마력의 순수 전기 포츠카를 만들어냈다

특히 공기가 희박한 고지대에서 벌어지기 때문에 레이스 필수적인 충분한 다운포스를 얻을 수 없는 핸디캡을 극복하 위해 차체 및 리어윙 개발에 심혈을 기울였다

뿐만 아니라, 폴크스바겐은 I.D. R 파이크스 피크 개발 및 대회 참가 과정을 통해 효율적인 전기차 충전을 위 활용될 수 있는 기술 개발에도 새로운 방향을 제시했다

대회 규정 상 레이스가 중단됐을 경우 20분 내 충전 완료해야 하는데, 폴크스바겐은 식품과 화장품의 성분으로도 허용이 될 정도로 무해한 성분인 글리세롤을 활용해 이 난제 해결했다

I alreadly lived in the north of Brazil

I lived in Pará, Amapá and Maranhão. During this period, I learned to love the people, the language and culture.

This love is what I wanted to share with my family.

every day as I come to work. It's a big risk, but what adventure is not a risk?

These containers have been through a lot. They've come all the way from China.

They've made it here to Salvador. They made it through the port during the

trucker's strike. It's taken a lot to get these containers here but we are

super excited. This is the second container it's arrived.

using shorts this year, however, I would like to use a

little more skirts even in the day too when the heat is hot

but who has never suffered from the rubbing the inner thighs does not know

how much it can be limiting and painful when then the inner thighs get irritated and

so you are even struggling to walk, you almost have difficulty because

the cream is so bad it hurts you I looked for solutions, I am also a

little informed, I read some articles on the Internet

good or bad everyone reports the same solutions

a few years ago I had

tried these species of shorts and I had found them both shorter and longer

both with a low waist and with a high waist definitely help to keep you a bit '

I have this solution tried this morning and it works I mean

I have worn, the part of the rubber band I have pulled up up up up to the groin not

come down, I've come a long way to I walked there a lot and I walked

I'm good in the sense that I wear it it has always remained in its place it is not

When this has come down the edge has not curled also because it remains slightly soft

but still under the dress - I was wearing a pretty tight-fitting dress

legs could not be seen and therefore this however it is a good solution

they do not suffocate I did not feel like I was hot, I did not feel suffocated

as it happens with those shorts that I showed you before

the solution, however, that gave me more satisfaction and I will show you among

Two Koreas discuss restoring military communication lines - Duration: 1:55.

Our top story this afternoon..

South and North Korea are holding working-level military talks for restoring their communication

lines.

Hee-jun, what are we hearing so far?

Ji-yoon.

The inter-Korean military talks began at around 10AM, Korea time -- a couple of hours ago.

They're being held at the CIQ, or the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine Office located

in Paju, Gyeonggi-do Province,... just south of the inter-Korean border.

The South Korean delegation is led by Army Colonel Cho Yong-geun,... and the North Korean

delegation by Colonel Om Chang-nam.

They're a follow-up to the general-level negotiations held earlier this month.

The two sides are said to be discussing fully reconnecting their military communications

channels in the East Sea and West Sea districts.

The West Sea channel was severed in 2016 after the shutdown of the inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial

Complex.

It was restored in January for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics,... but it's only capable

of phone communication -- that is verbal messages only.

The optic cable lines need to be recovered for the two sides to exchange faxes.

As for the East Sea communication lines,... they were suspended in 2011 amid military

tensions.

On top of that,... they were later destroyed in a wildfire.

The two sides are also likely to talk about reactivating a naval communication line, that

hasn't been used for a decade.

These lines, once restored,... will help the two Koreas avoid possible military conflict,

caused by misunderstandings.

These talks are the first of their kind in several years,... since the deadly attack

on the South Korean warship Cheonan in 2010 and the shelling of Yeonpyeong-do Island later

in the same year.

The talks are part of ongoing efforts by the two Koreas to implement the Panmunjom Declaration

from the April 27th inter-Korean summit, which includes reducing military tension and building

trust.

The discussions have even more meaning as today marks the 68th anniversary of the start

of the Korean War.

Women in Saudi Arabia finally hit the road as driving ban lifted - Duration: 2:06.

Saudi Arabia, the only country in the world that didn't allow women to drive, lifted its

ban on female drivers on Sunday.

With that, Saudi Arabian women had their first opportunity to put their hands on the steering

wheel.

Hong Yoo reports.

Nervous and excited, Saudi Arabian women sat behind the steering wheel, ready to hit the

roads for the first time.

When the clock hit midnight on Sunday local time, the ban on female drivers was finally

lifted.

That night, the roads were filled with women who celebrated by taking selfies and photos

of them driving.

Saudi women who had obtained driving licenses drove around with the flags of Bahrain and

Saudi Arabia, shouting "Congratulations Saudi girls "

Soundbite (English) "Actually it was like a dream that came true.

It was really very, very happy moment to get my Saudi driving licence and that I will be

hitting the road by myself and the roads in my country."

Tahani Al Dosemani, driving to the supermarket for the first time, was one of the first 10

women to receive their licenses on June 4th.

The lifting of the driving ban will bring more freedom and independence to women who

had to rely on their husbands, fathers, or other men to go to school, get to work, and

carry out other daily tasks that required driving.

The decision to lift the ban is part of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's sweeping reforms.

His "Vision 2030" plan aims to create a new image of a moderate Islamic state, one different

from an "isolated oil kingdom" image of the past.

giving this beautiful opportunity, and thank the neighbouring countries who came to share

in our happiness, this is a great moment in history for Saudi women."

More than 120,000 Saudi Arabian women have applied to get their licenses and the Saudi

BREAKING! IG Horowitz Testifies That Key Intel Was Redacted From Report That Could Implicate Lynch - Duration: 5:49.

We are now starting to see reports that just prior to the 2016 presidential election the

Huma Abedin/Anthony Weiner laptop seized by NYPD investigators working the Weiner sexting

case, contained 650,000 Clinton emails.

Included among them were the infamous 33,000 emails Clinton had erased.

"It seems that the Deep State is working overtime to keep people out of prison.

We are certain that Loretta Lynch lied in her testimony to Congress.

She told investigators that she had spoken to no one in the Clinton campaign but one

of the emails that were found said that she told Amanda Renteria that she "would not

push too deeply" into the investigation of Clinton's private email server.

It has also been suggested that Lynch and Renteria had exchanged classified information."

This incriminating evidence that had been discovered was beyond explosive and even included

alleged proof of money laundering, pay-to-play, and pedophilia.

The damning emails involved Hillary, her immediate circle, Democrat operatives and a number of

Democratic members of Congress.

But now we can surmise from reading the Inspector General's report that led to the firing

of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Obama's Attorney General Loretta Lynch had already

taken steps to silence NYPD investigators a week earlier.

This would be considered obstruction of justice and could lead to criminal charges against

the former Attorney General.

Via the New York Post:

"Lynch also got squirrelly when asked about reports that her FBI security detail had banned

cameras, even phones, from her meeting with Clinton.

Since her lawyer is on record saying Lynch will "fully cooperate" in the Senate investigation,

she'll have a hard time pleading the Fifth in hearings.

But that doesn't mean she won't try to stonewall.

Dozens of times during the House hearing, Lynch claimed, "I do not recall," when

pressed for sensitive information about her role in the Hillary investigation.

And the committee determined that she either "refused to answer or give appropriate response"

no fewer than 74 times during the four-hour hearing."

FB News Cycle also reported:

"Our report was filed back on November 4, 2016 when the news first broke.

We can now surmise from reading the Inspector General's report that led to the firing

of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Obama's Attorney General Loretta Lynch had already

taken steps to silence NYPD investigators a week earlier.

The OIG report references an October 26th, 2016 call from Lynch to FBI Director James

Comey during which she left no doubt that she expected them to hide the evidence found

on the Abedin-Weiner laptop.

Lynch threatened to bring in a team of new prosecutors and back them with civil rights

attorneys in order to reopen the racially sensitive Eric Garner wrongful d***h case

that a grand jury had already dismissed, if they refused to be silent about the evidence

found on the laptop.

Trump supporter and former NYC mayor, Rudy Giuliani had maintained relations with many

of the same NYPD investigators assigned to the Weiner sexting case and he kept candidate

Trump informed of what they had discovered on the laptop.

A month after Trump was inaugurated he announced his intention to prosecute human trafficking

and s*x crimes against children in a much more aggressive manner than ever before.

Since Trump made that declaration the number of human trafficking arrests increased geometrically

over those of previous administrations.

Sealed indictments began increasing exponentially at the end of 2017 and have continued through

the first quarter of 2018.

Just four days before Christmas President Trump signed an Executive Order Blocking the

Property of Persons Involved in Serious Human Rights Abuse or Corruption aimed at tightening

the noose on this cabal of the rich and powerful … and perverse.

The first step in bringing prosecutions took place two weeks ago when Trump's Attorney

General Jeff Sessions ordered backpage.com to be shut down and their records seized.

Backpage.com CEO Carl Ferrer has agreed to cooperate with federal investigators in exchange

for a reduced sentence.

His website was immediately shuttered.

Backpage.com began operations in 2004 and grew to command 80% of the s*x-trafficking

market once Craig's list abandoned that market.

Robert Mueller was the FBI Director from backpage.com's launch and for the next 9 years.

He did nothing to protect the victims of backpage.com's advertisers.

After Comey took the reins at the FBI nothing changed.

Despite growing awareness of the massive number of individuals suffering from these s*x slavers,

Comey never attempted to address the problem.

Tell me again Mr. Comey who's morally unfit to serve the American people – especially

the American women and children who count on government to protect them?

So it appears there really was more to the meeting between Lynch and former President

Bill Clinton on that Arizona airport tarmac.

Although they both claimed the former president waited for her for over 30 minutes in order

to talk about their grandkids.

Nothing in Clinton world is by chance.

If Comey was indeed threatened it makes you wonder what Lynch has on him.

The FBI Director should be untouchable by our corrupt politicians but we can be sure

How To Lock Your Bike In The City - Duration: 10:19.

y everyone welcome back it's CivilGuy here I'm in Washington DC today seemed

like a pretty good day to ride a bike not that nice outside actually is pretty

cloudy it's about the rain soon but I figured I might as well go ahead get

some miles in basically after living in the city for a considerable amount of

weeks I've come to adopt certain habits

one thing is to lock your bike up I'm gonna show you guys how to do that

here's the problem example of what you don't want to see you happen to your

bike there right there you see it don't do it

sad so sick that's a terrible place to park a bike just saying and before I go

on I just want to mention that here in the city it's advise that you take

public transportation that is buses buses or even the Metro the tree

also bikes bikes are pretty prominent throughout the city like I said I put

duct tape with my bike so it looks unappealing but you know you don't have

to do that so guys I'm gonna park my bike here in

front of Texas de Brazil I don't know what this is I think it's a restaurant

or something I want to show you an example of what not to do on this bike

this is not my bike this is somebody else's bike you can see they put a

u-bolt around her you lock around their frame but they didn't put it around

their back tire or their front tire which means somebody with simple tools

can easily take off the back tire in the front on the back tire is the most

expensive part of the bike it could be probably more than what the

bike is worth trying to get there replaced but like I said be sure to wrap

it around both tires not just a front tire looks like this guy wrapped it

around his front tire but he didn't bother wrapping it around his back tires

it's not a good sight to see I'm gonna go ahead and look at some more examples

guys this is what you're not supposed to do that's a bike sharing bike so it

really doesn't matter how to skate this is I don't know how that person's

blocking their bike I didn't want to spend too much time looking at it

because I'm like the whole scope of where I'm at

pretty nice around here this is city life folks half and a raindrop just fell

into my eyeball here's a prime example of what you don't want happen to your

bite as you can tell the back tire is missing because this person apparently

didn't put their u-lock around the bike back tire or their front tire so that's

what happened here

I do not go to that school always obey the signals guys all right guys so here

is our candidate of choice we have you racks oh my goodness yeah so we're gonna

Parker alright guys so we're gonna park the bike right here this is a good one

alright so basically I'm gonna get off the bike you're just gonna loop it

around here that so what you want to do is you want to make sure at least the

back tire is right next to the post because I want to stick my you lock

between the frame this is the frame or this but I'm gonna stick it between the

frame and the tire and then I'm also gonna loop a little cable around the

front tire and this post just as a safety precaution that's not really

going to prevent anybody from you know stealing the bike they really wanna

steal it either either way I mean that they came around here with some wire

cutters or something that could easily snap the cable

you know it wouldn't be be in the world they'd probably still be able to take

the tires off even all I had duct tape all over the place but anyway I'm just

going to show you guys how to put this together alright so in my backpack I

actually have a bike lock alright so you don't want to this is the thing you

don't want to do you don't want to just leave your bike here just like this

unaccompanied with or without any type of locking mechanism preventing it from

being stolen so I went down to the local bike shop here and picked up this

kryptonite whatever it's called a bike lock it's supposed to be really nice

really good it's a very strong I assume but we're gonna try it out and this is

the cable that I was talking about that's gonna loop around the front tire

and the u-lock itself it's gonna go around the frame in the post so here we

go alright so here's the key that comes

with it you just stick it in the bottom and then you just turn it and then it

unlocks it okay just like this comes up you set that

down we just take this apart and we're gonna

loop this around like I said the frame in the body in the back type so as you

can tell I'm looping it between the frame and the tire of the bike and so

that's gonna make it you know just anybody snoozing we're gonna loop this

around the front tire

okay all right so you just want to do something like that

and then you want to take this and loop it right through here

there we go and then you want to take your kryptonite barfing and then you

just want to stick it on there just like so do this one hand yeah I gotta set

this one down

here we go all right the key was turned a little bit but as you can see it's

it's in there and I just turned it and there's a thing on the bottom that I can

just pick like that and then boom that thing's not going anywhere I think it's

going and that's how you properly like a bike in DC like I said it's not gonna

totally prevent anybody from stealing your bike if it's work you know thousand

dollars and they might you know take a chance and brings that little u-bolt

there and I might just snap that cable and you know your bike but if you put

like it you know let's say you put another you lock on the other side and

then you put several of our cables around your bike you know then it might

be a little more of a hassle to get off I would highly suggest you get a u-lock

instead of just a cable use the cable as a secondary locking device and then go

with this as your primary locking device it is gonna take a little bit more than
