The Fatal Flaw of Subaru Cars and More - Duration: 5:17.

rev up your engines, Camden, Scotty thoughts on newer Subarus

and CVT reliability if you heard their cars not of the 90s I'm looking to buy a

Forester okay, Subarus one main big flaw was their automatic transmissions were

garbage over time and they cost a fortune to rebuild, their CV

transmissions are no different, they still have problems and they cost a

fortune to rebuild, you want something that you're gonna drive forever do not

buy one, if you want a Subaru and you want it to last a really long time

get a standard transmission and they are well-built, there are actually

standard transmissions, but do not buy an automatic transmission Subaru and think

it's gonna last forever, if you have to buy an automatic transmission go Toyota

they make the best ones, there's no if ands or buts about it, but if you like

Subarus and you can drive a standard, go ahead and get one at standard but never

by any of the Subarus with automatics or CVT s, because they have lots of problems

I rented a Subaru with a CVT and it had like 8,000 miles and the transmission was

already shifting crappy, so there's no way that I'd ever buy one of those

things, I'll run them because if it breaks it's not my problem it's the rental cars

company, and I always do rent different cars when I go on a business trip or

vacation because I like trying out all the different cars to tell people what I think

about them, Kevin rank says, my parents bought

me a 2006 Nissan Altima in October with over with over 150 thousand miles they bought

it for $2,800 did they pay too much, yes they did that's a 13 year old Nissan

Altima with 150,000 miles on it, now $2,800 doesn't buy what it used to buy, but I

wouldn't have paid that much for it for sure because Nissan's are notorious for

having problems, now let's say it doesn't burn much oil and the transmission

shifts good, if it does, then at least it's still a decent car but those

engines are notorious for burning oil and blowing head gaskets for having bad

automatic transmissions, so baby that car now I know you can drive them fast but

don't take off Jackrabbits and don't do burnouts on that thing, because then

you're pushing your luck, it's like playing with fire, they have weak engines

and weak automatic transmissions, so baby it

change the oil every four or 5,000 miles and you never know, you know

$2,800 these days for car isn't that much money, but they did pay a little bit

too much for it with that mileage knowing those, if it had been a Toyota no

but for the Nissan yes that's a bit too much, Shatty says is high

mileage full synthetic beneficial or is continuing full synthetic fine if you

have no leaks or burning off, oh yeah you can just stick with full synthetic

if you've been using that, the high mileage stuff you know, they claim oh it's

gonna do this, it's gonna do that, there's no miracle additives, if an engine is worn

an engine is worn, and if you're not burning or leaking oil and you're

using full synthetic just stick to what you're using, the reason people go to

these, Oh for an older engine and it helps them out high mileage is because

maybe they got bad seals and it's leaking oil, it can maybe rejuvenate them

a little, and it might have additives that can try to lubricate the engine a

little bit better, but if you're not leaking or burning oil

my advice is stick with the oil that you've been using and it's working why

change something it works, Greg D says, I got a 2013 Honda with a

CVT transmission it went out at 125,000 miles, we want to replace it what do you

think is the most reliable car out there, you had a Honda you didn't say what kind of

Honda you had, let's say you had a Civic well then go get a Toyota Corolla

they're much more reliable or are you saying you've had an accord get a Camry

the Toyota Camrys costs more but they're very reliable cars and they're much more

luxurious, depends on what kind of money you want to spend you know, I mean

sometimes people ask me, should I buy this car or that car, sometimes they're

completely different cars, I say it depends what you want, do you want a

luxury ride a lot of acceleration or do you want a car that's gonna last forever

and get better gas mileage, you got to decide what kind of car you want and

then go from there, but regardless of what type of car you want look for it in

a Toyota, because their still the most dependable cars out there, and I'm not

being paid by Toyota, I wish I was you know, they probably got a lot of money

because they make really good cars but, fool proof

eske says, Scotty I bought a 1993 Honda Accord with a manual

transmission when I'm shifting gears it takes a while for the RPMs to drop and

the lag in RPMs can be noticed, car has two hundred sixty eight thousand

miles on it, okay if you shift and that takes too long for the RPMs to drop

odds are you need a new clutch and it's just slipping, any mechanic let them road

test it they'll tell you if the clutch is slipping, the clutch could just be

slipping and wearing out, it winches inside the disc and as it's worn, the pressure

isn't enough that the disc gets too thin and it'll start to slip and then the RPMs

won't go down, so odds are you just need a new clutch in it, it's you know two

hundred sixty eight thousand miles, the thing is just flat worn out, so if you

never want to miss another one of my new car repair videos, remember to ring

that Bell!

Cilantro Lime Rice ~ Chipotle Copycat Recipe ~ Noreen's Kitchen - Duration: 9:23.

Hi everyone, welcome back to the kitchen

We're gonna be making a cilantro and lime rice that's very similar to the restaurant chains that you might be familiar with

They stuff these in taco balls and they stuff it in burritos and in tacos and all sorts of things in between

This is super easy to make at home. And the flavor is out of this world. Let's go see how this all comes together

Today we're gonna be making some

cilantro and lime rice if you guys if you guys have ever eaten at

Chipotle or Mo's or any number of those Mexican kind of cafeteria style places

They always have a cilantro and lime rice available taco filling or burrito filling or bowl filling

You know this super delicious and it's really easy to make at home

We are gonna be having some chicken taco bowls for dinner tonight

So we're gonna be using this as the base for those and this is really simple

What you're gonna do is you're gonna cook up your rice like you would for a pilaf only we're not gonna be adding any pasta

Just the rice. We're gonna toast it up a little bit I have

Two cups of long grain rice here. This is just plain old-fashioned rice

I have a medium onion that I have diced. I have about five cloves of garlic here

But only three of them are gonna go in with the rice

I have two tablespoons of butter and I have two tablespoons of oil. The rest of this oil is going in the cilantro lime

Pesto that we're going to dress the rice with whole bunch of cilantro

A quarter of a cup of olive oil to go into that

Pesto along with the juice and zest of two limes now

I just went ahead and put the zest

right on in there with the juice because it's a lot easier to get out of the container that way and

Then we have four cups of vegetable stock

You can use chicken stock or water if you prefer

With our rice and then I have some salt this is gonna go in with the rice

It's gonna go in with the pesto part and then everything is gonna come together and it's gonna be really delicious

So I'm gonna go get the induction burner in the pan and we're gonna start by

Sauteing off the onions and getting the rice going

All right

And I got the butter and the oil in the pan

nice and melty and I tossed in the onion and the garlic and it took about

Three minutes to get to this stage right here

I have this over medium heat and now just like you would if you were gonna be making rice pilaf

we're gonna go ahead and get the rice in here and toast it off really well just

so it has every grain is

coated in that oil and butter and it starts to take on a little bit of a brown doneness not

like you don't want this to be like super brown and you don't want it to

Burn for sure. So just keep

stirring around in here until it has a

slightly nutty aroma and that's when you know

It'll be time to add the liquid and when that happens I'll be back and I'll show you what happens next

Okay, it is just about time to add our stock and you can see here and here the the rice is beginning to

Caramelize or brown if you will and

You don't want all of it to be completely Brown

The whole purpose here is just to prep the rice to receive the liquid kind of bring it up to temperature and it helps

This is gonna help the cooking process because it's gonna help you avoid sticky rice these these

Grains of rice are going to be fluffy and separate because they're coated with all that good oil

Okay, so we're gonna slowly and Rick you're want to look back up a little because you're gonna steam up

Add the liquid a little bit at a time just kind of prime your pan there and then you can add the remainder. So

There's four cups of vegetable stock. Like I said, you can use chicken stock. You can use water if that's what you have

No worries. I just found this great veggie stock and I wanted to use it

Now we're gonna do is bring this up to a boil and then when it's come to a boil

we're gonna put the lid on we're going to reduce this to

medium heat and then we're gonna let this cook for 20 minutes or until

the surface of the cooked rice is dimpled and the majority of the liquid has been absorbed now you can see this already is

already bubbling

I'm telling you what this induction burner is the bomb. Okay, I'm gonna put a lid on it. I'm gonna reduce my temperature

Medium and then we'll let it do its deal move back when it's ready and we'll go make the pesto

Our rice has cooked for 20 minutes and it is now gonna steam for about 15 minutes while that's happening

We're gonna make the cilantro lime pesto that we're gonna dress the rice with and that's when the magic happens

When we mix them all together and we create this delicious cilantro lime rice

So what you're gonna start off with is a small bunch of cilantro. You can even throw the stems in there

The stems are completely edible. We're gonna do use our lime juice and our lime. Zest some garlic

a little bit of water just

To get things going and because this is a high speed blender

I'm gonna put the oil in here at the same time as everything else because I can't pour it in from the top

if you have a standard high speed blender, you're gonna put these things first blend them and then

slowly drizzle in your olive oil

so that

Everything will emulsify but because I have using my smoothie blender or my drink blender

I can do I can just put everything in here all at once so I'm just gonna go ahead and put this on the base

and

We're gonna blend

When you feel like you have everything all

Blended up the way you want it go ahead and call it good and there you go

that's exactly what you want it to look like that's going to

Soak right on into all that rice. I'm gonna add about a teaspoon of salt

This is kosher salt

If you're going to use fine salt or table salt or canning salt, then you're gonna want to use half that amount

I'm gonna go ahead and give this a taste. Oh, that's good. Beautiful fresh crisp citrusy from the lime juice

That's gonna be wonderful on our rice

Okay, I'm gonna go get the rice and then we'll come back and we'll dress it all and we'll make our cilantro lime, right?

Okay. Our rice has steamed our cilantro lime. Pesto is ready to go

And now all that's left to do is marry the two together now. I'm going to be a little conservative

And I'm not gonna put all of it. I'd say there's about 3/4 of a cup of that pesto in there

So what I want to do is I want to mix this up together

And then I'm gonna taste it and if I feel like it can handle the rest of it

Then we're gonna go ahead and pop it in there. You can always save the rest for later

You can drizzle it over eggs, you can drizzle it over

a

Taco or a salad like a vinaigrette. It'll be great. I do want to taste it though

the rice tastes fabulous without the pesto on it if

I'm being honest

I think I'm gonna stop there. I can taste everything and the cilantro is not overpowering which is really important. Just perfect. Yeah

It's not too much

So you can see there's this much left

I'd say about a half a cup

Maybe maybe not there maybe like a quarter of a cup there

but you have to do this to your personal taste if you are not like

In the cheering section of cilantro

But you can you enjoy it with certain flavors?

Then you're gonna want to be the one who determines how much of that pesto you put on here. Like I said

Just toss that pesto in a little jar stick it in your fridge. It's gonna last you a couple of weeks and

It's gonna be great. You can use it as a vinaigrette drizzle it over dressing use it as a marinade for chicken

There are a lot of uses for that pesto

So, all right

They're not overpowering just right

And Ric would tell you if there was too much because he is not sitting in the cheering section of cilantro. That's for sure. So

That is how you make cilantro lime rice

This is our version of it. It's very similar to what you get

at

Chipotle mmm mine may be a little on the

Greener side than theirs, but that's okay

You got to do it the way you want it

Add as much or as little of that pesto as you like and go for it. I hope you enjoyed today's video

My 7 Favorite Yellow Hot Peppers Reviewed - Duration: 9:41.

Welcome to 7 Pot Club. I'm Rob.

We're growing over 70 varieties of hot peppers this year, and it's so hard to pick favorites.

Today I'm going to narrow the selection by color and choose my 7 favorite hot peppers

that are bright yellow when fully ripe.

These are the yellow peppers I most like to pick and eat fresh with meals in the summer.

We'll examine them visually, then I'll taste each one and describe the flavor.

I had to exclude some of my favorite varieties, because they're only yellow before they

ripen.

One pepper that falls into this category is Wenk's Yellow Hots, a delicious medium-hot

wax pepper that ripens to a rich orange.

Another is Little Elf, which cycles through yellow and orange on its way to red.

One note before we get started.

Professional wine tasters don't drink a entire bottle of each wine they sample.

If I ate all these peppers whole in one session, I'd be in a great deal of discomfort and

wouldn't be able to taste anything after the first few.

I'm a firm believer that hot peppers are something to enjoy.

I'm not a fan of contests and challenges where they're used to see how much pain

people can endure.

Eat superhot peppers because you like the flavor and rush of endorphins, not to prove

how macho you are.

Seriously, no one is impressed.

The contestants are assembled, so let the tasting begin.

🎵These are my 7 favorite yellow hot peppers 🎵

Selected the peppers, uncapped a Two Hearted Everything's ready, so now let's get started

This capsicum baccatum variety from Peru is a crunchy pepper with a distinctly fruity

taste that reminds some people of pineapple.

It's moderately hot, at about 20,000 Scoville units.

Very fruity, citrusy, I don't really taste pineapple.

You know, it's definitely got a little bit of a kick to it. Delicious.

🎵These are my 7 favorite yellow hot peppers 🎵

#6

Here is another Peruvian pepper of species baccatum.

Here in the U.S., it's also known as lemon drop.

Like the Aji Pineapple, this pepper has a fruity, citrusy taste.

Maybe it should be called the cliantro pepper, because to some it tastes like soap.

Let's see what it tastes like to me, today.

Wow.

It's a little spicier than the pineapple.

Not quite as citrusy.

I'll admit I didn't like these when I first grew them and ate them, but this is

definitely one of my favorites.

🎵These are my 7 favorite yellow hot peppers 🎵

#5

A lot of my favorite peppers are 7 Pots, which shouldn't be surprising since it's in

the name of our channel.

For those of you who are new here, 7 Pot peppers are from the Caribbean island of Trinidad,

just off the coast of Venezuela.

7 Pots are so named because 1 pepper is hot enough to flavor 7 pots of stew.

The 7 Pot Orange-Yellow is one of my favorites for eating fresh, because it has both heat

and flavor.

Sorry, I'm already producing a lot of saliva, so if I get mush-mouthed, just have to deal

with it.

Here we go.

It's really good.

We're definitely getting into superhot territory.

This has got a wonderful flavor.

Not too fruity, very peppery.

Wow.

I really like this one.

You might be thinking that Trinidad Scorpion Yellow CARDI was named after rapper Cardi

B and her mega hit "Bodak Yellow."

But you'd be incorrect.

CARDI is the acronym of the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute, and this

is a standardized variety developed by the institute.

Fun Fact.

Fun Fact.

Fun fact: A lot of commercial-cultivated superhots are not grown for food.

They also have medical uses and more recently have been added to marine paint because the

capsaicin helps repel barnacles and other parasites that attach to the hulls of ships.

Here we go.

If I was a barnacle, I would not attach myself to a ship that was coated with this.

It certainly is hot, and still tasty.

Let's move on.

🎵These are my 7 favorite yellow hot peppers 🎵

#3

Things are getting a little mucous-y here, but let's keep going.

7 Pot Brain Strain Yellow is called Brain Strain because its shape and bumpy surface

can make it look very brain like.

I've also heard it called mind eraser, so we'll see if I'm still coherent after

I have a bite.

Wonderful, fruity flavor.

Definitely the hottest I've eaten so far.

Delicious.

Not a pepper I would normally eat all by itself without food.

But I just did it.

Think I'll have a little bit of beer.

🎵These are my 7 favorite yellow hot peppers 🎵

#2

Here we are, #2.

The last of the superhots.

This variety was created by Troy Primo, and it's a cross between a 7 Pot and a Ghost

Pepper.

It's known as one of the sweetest and hottest of the yellow superhots, and let's see if

this example is true to type.

Wow.

That is sweet.

It has a real pepper taste, almost like a bell pepper taste to it, combined with a blinding

heat.

Sorry, my mind went somewhere else for a minute.

Definitely 2 thumbs up on this one.

🎵These are my 7 favorite yellow hot peppers 🎵

#1

OK, here we are.

#1.

There's no contest, this is definitely my #1 favorite yellow hot pepper.

The Charapita, or Little Turtle pepper is from Peru.

It's also known as Yellow Fire.

Prized by chefs for its distinctive flavor, this wild pepper is native to the Peruvian jungle

and it's been called the most expensive pepper in the world.

That's probably not true anymore, as seeds have now readily available and it's widely

cultivated.

Charapitas are very tiny and very hot.

Just toss a handful into any dish to add heat or flavor.

They freeze very well, so you can eat them year round.

I often take some with me in a tube when I dine out.

Have heat will travel!

Favorite yellow hot pepper #1.

Oooh.

So good, I'll eat two.

Fruity, distinctive flavor.

You know, just a little bit of heat in a burst, can eat it with everything, goes with any

kind of food.

You can't beat it.

That's my #1 favorite yellow hot pepper. Thanks!

My mouth is on fire, my stomach is queasy Too much of a good thing can make you uneasy

I like to enjoy them with more moderation But I wanted to give you a good demonstration

Jonathan Bowen | Realtor | Hub Edge Realty | Virtual Office Website (VOW) | Tutorial - Duration: 16:48.

Hey folks, it's Jonathan Bowen with Hub Edge Realty. How are ya? Ahm, we are gonna go

through my Virtual Office Website (VOW) today which is a website provided to me by

Pinergy, ah, actually by, ah, MLS Property Information Network which is the

purveyor of Pinergy. So this site I've had since, I don't know, 2003? 2004? I don't

even remember when, ahm, MLS PIN, ah, activated these but they haven't done any work on

them, ah, haven't updated them since, ahm, these sites were first introduced. So it's a

terrible lookin' site, there's no doubt about that, ahm, but the good news is..., is that

you literally cannot get closer to MLS data than by using this site, I don't care

who tells you what, it's wrong, this is number one, this is the best, ah, if you want

MLS data, it's not gonna be the prettiest but it's going to come directly from the

MLS. You can't get closer, okay? So let's go through this, ahm, as quickly as possible

and, ah, let's take a look. So this is, excuse me, this is my "Welcome" screen, you can

read that if you'd like, okay? Ahm... What we're gonna do here is, we're gonna pretend

that we are a client named Testy McTest and, ahm, we're gonna click on this

"Sign Up" page. Now this is what you would do if you were a buyer and you wanted to

search for some real estate and you wanted to get real estate listings sent

to you in your email, ahm, I think it's best to get them sent every day. So if you're

interested in working with me, I know you are, ahm, fill out this information and I'll

get your search squared away, okay? So, we are gonna go ahead to the "Sign In" tab

because we already have a, an account, okay? And I'm gonna sign in and, ahm, what I'm

gonna tell you here now is, when you sign up for an account, you and I will be

working together, ahm, or if you want to work with any other Hub Edge Realty agent, they

have their own personal VOW pages and, ahm, you can work with them, ah, their VOW page will

look different, that's no big deal, okay? But... Here's what's cool, we're gonna go

over to the Pinergy site and we're gonna see Testy McTest here, okay? And what

I've done here is, I've set up three different searches for Testy McTest.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to see this map search which is the coolest

search, ahm, this is a search that I did, ah, in a five-mile radius from my home, ahm, and let's

click on that, we're in the back end of Pinergy, un-unfortunately, you can't see this

but I can help you with this, okay? Ahm, we have all types of criteria here, ah, single

families, condominiums, I can do anything here, I, if you want to do open houses

only, I can do that. Ahm... So many different options, okay? If you

want me to create a custom map, maybe you're a builder or a developer, and you

only want to buy a piece of property in a certain subdistrict or a certain, ah,

zoning area, I can help you with that, ahm, you won't see the map, again, but I will

create it exactly to the dimensions of those, ahm, districts or subdistricts, okay?

Ahm, alright, so, we're gonna go back to, eh, well, let's go back to Testy McTest, and I've

got two other searches set up for Testy McTest, ah, a Brockton multi-family

search, all multi-families in Brockton or Stoughton single family search, all

single families in Stoughton, okay? Ahm, so all of those are all jumbled

together within the "Results" page on your personalized page, okay? So, what we're

gonna do here is..., we are going to, well, let's go to, ah, let's go to the last page

here and just check to see what we have, okay? We're gonna go to 43 Mears Lane in

Stoughton, okay? We're gonna click on that, and you can see all 29 photos, okay? If

you want to see larger photos, you click on this button, another tab pops up and,

ah, you'll be able to see the larger photos, okay? Ahm...

Again, this is not the best looking site in the world

but it does what you need better than any other site in the world and that is

to have access to all MLS listings, okay? Now, we're gonna stay with 43

Mears Lane in Stoughton, there are some really cool things you can do here, you

can "Request a Showing", okay? Boom! Ah, you gotta fill out a little security code

thing, you can send a message, ahm, I will get that email, ah, and we'll set up a showing to

get into that property, whatever property it id-, ah, it is, excuse me, you can "Rate"

the listing, what's great about this is... I can see those ratings on my side. So

we're gonna "Rate this Listing". "I love it!" Okay? Ah... "I think this is my dream home!" Okay? Ah...

We are going to add it to our favorites, "Your favorite has been updated." Okay? We

are going to "Submit" that feedback. "Your feedback has been submitted." I will get

an email with your feedback, the more information you give me, the better we

can work together, I can't read minds, I work very hard but reading minds is

not one of my gifts, alright? So, what you can do here as well is..., you can print

it up, okay? You can use this "Down Payment Resource" link. Say you have a property

and you have questions about your mortgage, ah, the ability for you, wh-, say you, say

you're worried about a mortgage. Say you don't make a lot of money, click on this

link, ah, "Down payment money is available for..." 43 Mears Lane in Stoughton. You need to

fill all this information out, okay? There are four matched programs for this

property in particular, ah, those programs will change, ahm, depending on the location of

the property, the price of the property and all that other stuff, okay? So "Down

Payment Resource" is one link, okay? Now you can do a MapQuest, you can do a

Google Maps, you can do a Bing map, and this listing has a virtual tour, Matterport,

which is pretty cool. So we can watch the virtual tour right from, ahm, right

from the, ahm, that was a little freaky but, ah, right from the, ahm,

the VOW page, okay? We'll look all around the house, alright?

Nice television. Alright... Going back to the page here, ahm, you can get all of the

information here, this has a homeowner's fee of $960 a

year, okay? That's good information, all of this information is filled out by the

listing agent directly, I have no control over this, some listing agents are very

good at about putting... (Unknown caller...) Ah... I cannot take that phone call, and I'm gonna put that on

silent. So, ahm, this agent is okay. I can't personally

stand when they say: "Directions: Use the GPS". I think that's very lazy, so, if you

ever see stuff like that on my VOW page, just remember that I'm not the person

controlling the data that's put into, ah, these individual listings, okay?

Alright... So what else can you do here? Ah, this is the most important stuff,

alright? Ahm... You can go back to your "Results" page, okay? Really important, you can check

off individual properties if you want to delete them, now I would only delete them

if you definitely, 100%, do not want to buy that property, okay? Do not delete

them, well, you can delete them, they will come back if there's a price change and

you can delete them again if you still don't like the property, okay? I think

that's how it works. Alright. So let's uncheck those boxes, ahm, you can see that

I've looked at 43 Mears Lane so it's no longer in bold, I can see that I have, ah,

favorited that property so, I, there's a little heart there now. You can

show up to a hundred properties per page, you can order the properties by "Price", by

"Town", by "Favorite", by "Status", by "Property Type". Now here's a cool thing I can do, I

can go in and recommend properties to you. So I'm gonna go into Pinergy here

and we're gonna look at the matches and I am going to, on my end, I'm gonna look

just at Stoughton, okay? Now, ohp, look at

that! You have favorited that, so I can see

that. Now what I'm gonna do, say you hadn't favorited that property and I

liked that property for you, I can go ahead and recommend that property for

you, okay? Now there's an, ah, a "thumbs up", okay? So we can work in concert

to... let me look at the "Agent Recommended" page there and let's see if it has

populated, well, I don't see that it's populated yet... Ahm, Page 1, let's go to Page 1 and

see if, yep, there it is, so it's on Page 1 of 5, ah,

"Agent Recommended" comes up first in this instance, ahm...

Okay. "Status." Alright? "Active (ACT)", you might be like: "Well, they're all Active (ACT)." No,

that's not true. Ah, let's go to Page 4 and, ah, well, they're

still all "Active (ACT)" there, you might have, there we go, so "New (NEW)", "Price Change (PCG)" so

you'll be able to see what's going on in the market, ahm... Alright. So let's go to "Search"

here. Say you don't want to create an account, okay? Here's something that's

awesome. If you just want to search my VOW page, you're free to do it and if you

want to see, let's type in "Stoughton", you're gonna add that, I'm just gonna

remove that little thing there, I am going to look only at "Sold" properties

and I want to look at all "Sold" properties within the last five years, ahm, with the

minimum sales price of $500,000 and we are going to look at single families

only, okay? So there are 139 listings that come up, that have sold for over

$500,000 in Stoughton in the past five years, now you have this

data, let's look at 119 Esten Road in Stoughton, ahm, you can see the photos, you can

see the sale date which was August 17th, ah, just recently sold, okay? You can see who

the listing agent was, the selling agent was, I mean, there's so much information

that you can get here just by using my VOW page, okay? Ahm...

Some brokerages, like Hub Edge Realty, do not allow third-party sites like Trulia

and Zillow to get my company's data, it's a long story, we're not going to go into

it on this video, ahm, but that's why you want to use individual agents' VOW pages,

okay? This one, you can see it has a floor plan, you can hit the "Large Photos" button

and it pops up a new tab, ahm, I have all these tabs open now. So that's awesome,

you can look at all the sold data that you want. Ah, "Featured Listings", if you want to

look at my listings, my company's listings, okay? Ahm, ma-, probably not that

important to you because you don't really care about my company's listings,

you care about a property that you want to buy, the "Your Home's Value" tab is for

people who want to reach out to me, ah, I can provide you with a valuation of your

home, a very detailed valuation of your home or, ah, commercial property, "Mortgage

Calculator" is great, you can type in all types of stuff here, then we have links

to 617hubedge.com, ah, Hub Edge Realty's Facebook page, Instagram page,

LinkedIn page, Pinterest page, Twitter, ah, I guess it's a

page, Yelp profile, you can email me, here's my contact information here, you

can "Unsubscribe" at any time, ahm, so that's really the entire, ahm, that's the entire VOW

page, my service that I can provide to you, this is one great reason why you

want to work with one agent exclusively, because that agent will give you, ahm, data,

and service, and get to know you, and what you like and what you don't like,

ahm, so that's why you should work, ah, with a guy named Jonathan Bowen, that's me. Ah, so I just

want to "thank you" for watching this video, you can go to the "Sign Up" tab at

any time, right now the link is Jonathan Bowen, it's a masked link cuz the other

VOW page link is a terrible, crazy website link.

So just remember "jonathanbowen.boston" or "jonathanbowen.realtor",

there it is, ah, ju-, right now "jonathanbowen.realtor"

points to "jonathanbowen.boston", okay? So a terrible looking site, granted,

but the best site for you to use, hands down, it's not visual, I know you like

visual, but I know you would like a house better than being happy looking at a

pretty website, okay? Thank you so much for watching.

Ah, this is Jonathan Bowen with Hub Edge Realty and I've been meaning to make

this video for a long, long time. I know it's a long video but I do appreciate

that you've watched the entire, ah, thing,

alright? Have a good day. Bye bye.

Yeast Infections 101 - Duration: 6:54.

I'm Dr. Lindsey Doe and this sex curious show is Sexplanations.

Today's episode about yeast infections is sponsored by NordVPN, a prevention solution

for internet infections.

Stick around to the end of the video to find out the special offer that will keep up to

six up to six of your devices - your phones, tablets, computers - safer, simultaneously.

[WHIP CRACKING, COUGH]

Yeast which go by the fancy name candida live helpfully in human beings.

They're part of our natural healthy intestinal flora.

A yeast infection is when this flora grows more than normal, out of control, in or on the body.

Three in four vaginas have had at least one yeast infection.

There are also yeast infections of the penis; the mouth, esophagus, and stomach called thrush;

yeast infections on the skin, under the nails, and more dangerous versions you can get in

the lungs and bloodstream.

Why we get yeast infections is not always certain, but there are things that can put

you at a higher risk of getting one.

One way people get yeast infections is by reducing the helpful bacteria that keep yeast in check.

In vaginas this is typically lactobacillus, and by using douches to rinse, sprays, harsh soaps and

the like, lactobacillus is flushed away and yeast can get an edge on multiplying more freely.

For similar reasons, taking antibiotics can lead to yeast infections too.

Antibiotics are designed to wipe out an infection but sometimes they also wipe out the good stuff.

Which doesn't mean don't take them, just know that it's possible.

Another way yeast grows past its welcome is a warm, moist environment.

Fungus like yeast loves growing where it's slightly damp and stuffy.

So by lounging around in sweaty or wet clothes, yeast are better able to flourish.

So if you don't want your body to be an open house for yeast, make sure you air things

out and wear breathable materials and loose clothing.

A third way people get yeast infections is from someone else with a yeast infection giving them one.

This could be vagina to mouth, mouth to vagina, vagina to vagina, vagina to penis, penis to vagina.

Then there's penis to penis, penis to mouth, mouth to penis.

Note: I've read that the prostate can house yeast and semen can transport it -- so that

a person who has a yeast infection may can unknowingly transmit it to someone else.

It's valuable to reduce risk of a yeast infection, but some causes are harder to avoid,

like a weakened immune system.

Things that compromise your body's natural defenses make it harder for your body to balance yeast.

Like mono, HIV, and diabetes, a nutrient deficiency, not enough rest, and or cancer treatments.

The immune system can only take on so much.

So when it's damaged from battling other invasions or lacks strength because of inadequate

sleep and nutrition, yeast are much more likely to get out of control.

Since steroids work by suppressing the immune system responses to problems (like lessening

inflammation, hives etc.) then taking steroids increases your potential for a yeast infection.

Weigh the pros and cons with a medical provider.

This goes for choices you make around your hormones too.

Hormonal contraceptives like the patch, pill, ring, implant, and shot add estrogen to the

body which can lead to yeast infections.

This goes for infertility treatments, hormone therapies, and being pregnant too.

All of these can contribute to yeast growth.

And finally, one more thing that increase your chances of a yeast infection is stress.

Stress tends to signal the production of cortisol, a hormone known to weaken the immune system,

AND it increases blood sugar -- an energy supply for yeast!

So basically washing out the good stuff, leaving everything clammy, rubbing up on someone with

lots of yeasts themselves, compromising your immune system, and altering your hormones

might explain the cottage cheese like colony in your crotch.

I mean, you might not have a buildup of white mucus.

Other symptoms include white spots, itchiness, rash, or redness, swelling, and increased

discomfort with activities like urinating and sex (depending on where you get the infection).

Does it hurt, maybe burn, and smell like bread?

Yes? It's probably yeast.

One way to know for sure is visit a medical provider who can do an exam and even look

at the situation under a microscope.

Depending on their investigation, they might be able to tell you how strong your yeast

is and how easy or difficult it will be to treat.

Treatment may include: Antifungal medications -

suppositories which you just whoop put up in your vagina to dissolve,

creams and ointments you can lather onto your genitals,

tablets that can be taken orally for yeast in the throat.

Depending on symptoms and the strain of yeast, you may be able to take a pill or pills called

fluconazole or diflucan.

One swallow and hopefully problem gone.

Another treatment that I just learned about is gentian violet, also known as crystal violet.

It's been used as antiseptic dye since 1861.

You simply buy it from a drug or health food store, and apply it to an infected area with

a cotton swab -- carefully not to stain everything else around you.

The dye is really messy but it treats candidiasis, also known as yeast infections!

Other options include boric acid suppositories, as well as yogurt, and or garlic cloves.

With the yogurt you want something plain, low or no fat, and with lactobacillus.

See how it reads Lactobacillus acidophilus or sometimes L acidophilus?

Push some in with a clean finger, use a tampon applicator to insert, or make yourself a phallic

shaped yogurt pop using a condom or glove to fill up and freeze.

The yogurt chilled or frozen should feel soothing, so if it hurts, stop.

Also, remember that whatever you put in will leak out.

So the more you place, the bigger the cleanup -- and it's important to practice good hygiene.

With garlic the trick is knowing how much to use.

If you notice your yeast infection early you might be able to get away with half a clove

inserted overnight.

If there's already creamy white discharge, indicating that the infection is further along,

go with a clove or two and notch them so even more of raw garlic is exposed.

Into the vagina it goes, as sanitarily as possible, then remove it in the same fashion,

clean hands, throw it away.

It's in your vagina, but your mouth is likely to taste like garlic.

Hopefully this is worth ending an infection.

Support healthy bacteria to manage yeast activity.

Get more lactobacillus or probiotics.

Avoid sprays, perfumes, toilet paper, soap, bath oils, bath bombs, certain lubes that

might complicate things.

Get enough rest and nutrients.

Learn ways to manage stress.

and talk to your partners (if you have them) about their hygiene and potential for having

a yeast infection.

You might go your whole life without one.

Most of you won't, and it's okay.

There are solutions and resources.

Your part is to stay curious.

Before you click away, important thing first.

The internet is mostly really great -- like yeast being just fine in the body, no problem.

Occasionally though, unethical companies and people will monitor your activity, share your

data, and throttle your internet access if you're not protected.

You get infected so to speak.

VPNs which stand for very private network let you click into internet someplace else.

NordVPN has a growing number of servers in over 60 countries, which is part of how they

encrypt data twice -- actual top security scrambling, so that you can browse, shop,

learn about sex, etc without anyone snooping on you.

NordVPN has been recommended to me by people I really respect who want my online life to

be secure.

They love that it's the best of the best at what it does.

I love that it's named Nord after the nordic ideals of confidence, trust, and innovation.

And that they're sex positive enough to support this channel.

If you'd like to lower your risk for getting the yeast infection of the internet or worse,

NordVPN is offering my viewers 77% off 3 year plans or you can do a free 30 day trial.

Just go to NordVPN.com/sexplanations or click the link in the description to sign up and

start protecting yourself.

Arsenal news: Ashley Cole makes Unai Emery prediction after Chelsea Premier League defeat - Duration: 2:58.

Arsenal boss Emery is already under pressure, with the club having lost their first two Premier League games under his tutelage

The Spaniard oversaw their 2-0 defeat to Manchester City and also watched on as his side were beaten 3-2 by Chelsea on Sunday

Cole has played for both Arsenal and Chelsea throughout his career, famously leaving for Stamford Bridge after Jose Mourinho turned his head

And he thinks Emery has the nous to turn things around despite his stuttering start to life in the Premier League

Cole told The Sun: "I used to watch the games with [Arsene Wenger] in the long jacket and you don't see that any more

"Times change, people move on, and I think it was his time to go. "And obviously, they've brought in a new manager with new ideas and a new philosophy

"With Arsenal, there's a new manager still, but I think the first two games they had were very, very difficult, so I think they'll start picking up points now

"I think it might take a little bit of time, he has to gel the players together, he's got a few new players

"To put his philosophy across and how he wants to play, I don't think it's going to happen straight away

" Cole's decision to leave Arsenal in 2006 has seen him bombarded with abuse throughout his career

And, speaking in 2017, the England international shed some light on his Gunners exit 12 years ago

He said: "No, I had a great time there and of course I miss the old players but I moved on and I won every trophy I could, so I wouldn't say I look back and regret it, no

"If I'm honest, yeah, I still laugh to myself to this day. "I had a lot of history there and of course the way I left was maybe dodgy, but I think they showed me a lack of respect, too

"I have to blame myself too. Perhaps I did things in the wrong way. "But when I look back on it now I could blame a lot of parties and it's now 10 years ago

Attention Deficit Disorder - Duration: 5:24.

Hello, Today's blog is going to be on blood Sugar's impact on development.

This is a really big issue that a lot of people with diabetes are facing.

There's research on it, but no one really likes to talk about it. Because, when we talk

about it. It means that there's another issue that we have to face and it's hard

to look at other things that are impacting us. When a person grows up with

diabetes, if they are diagnosed at an early age,

what's going to end up happening is that extreme high or prolonged highs as well

as extreme lows are going to cause problems with their ability to remember,

recall & focus. What happens is, is that these shifts in blood sugars or these

extreme shifts cause scarring on the frontal lobe as well as reduces gray

matter, which impairs our ability to function, remember and do what we need to

do to manage our diabetes. Because, when we're managing our diabetes we really

need that focus. Unfortunately, a lot of times when we're living with attention

deficit and diabetes we remember to give our shot but a split second later we

forget I call that a slippage of memory. That occurs a lot and a lot of my

clients have that issue and have talked about it, and one of the unfortunate

things is that this issue of attention deficit disorder is comorbid with

diabetes and there's not much you can do about it. Improving blood sugars while

growing up helps, if you've already gone through your childhood and you're now an

adult there's not much you can do about it but medications do help. Even though, it's

a physical reason why you are having problems with your memory, recall and

focusing on things, the medications for attention deficit work really well.

They may not resolve all of the issues, because a lot of issues with diabetes

do loss of things really need to be talked through

and that's where therapy helps. But, it's important to take a look see how your

memory is doing and yes sometimes high blood Sugar's sometimes all the time

high blood Sugar's will cause problems in this area. That's what makes it so

difficult to figure out is it the diabetes or does it have to do with this

other issue that's co-morbid with diabetes. Ah co-morbid, I hate that

word, but it accurately describes. When you have diabetes and as I said you get

it at an early age due to the shifting blood sugars you're going to

end up with attention deficit. And, most people don't really look at it because

we're not looking at the attention deficit hyper disorder we're not looking

at a hyper piece we're looking at inattentive piece and a lot of children

don't get the attention they need or notice that there's this problem going

on. Some children end up in special education while others just struggle

through it and some excel at school because they're hyper focusing. And that's the

other issue attention deficit isn't a lack of attention or no attention it's

that attention is either full forward full force all energy going to it and

you're hyper focused and the rest of the world disappears as let's say you're

reading a book you love and the next thing you know it's 12 hours later. You

finish the book but you didn't eat and you didn't drink and you just been

sitting there reading this book. Now that's an extreme example but that is

hyper focus and that could cause a lot of problems. You may miss appointments,

you may get to work late, it causes problems in multiple areas. But the

biggest problem is the area causes in managing diabetes it reduces our ability

to manage properly because when we have a slippage of thought basically you can

remember to give your insulin but then a split second later you've already

forgotten and it's not till like a half hour that you remember. You're

just about to finish eating but then it's gone again and so li ke

it takes an hour, takes an hour or even two hours to get that insulin into you and

by then you're already on this roller coaster and that's the big problem.

Now, the medications do help reduce this. I mean everybody is forgetful to one

degree or another, but it's important to get this checked out if you're living

with diabetes. If you're struggling and you're struggling in the area of recall

remembering the slippage of mind problems focusing or if you believe

you're living with it and diabetes please feel free to reach out and give

me a call. My name is Eliot LeBow. I am a diabetes focused psychotherapist and I

hope you enjoyed my blog today. If you did please subscribe. I have lots of

great information to come and you have a great day. Bye
