Youtube daily report w Nov 26 2018

We present a French engraving from around 1838, entitled Maison d 'Albrecht Durer a Nuremberg,

in other words, speaking the home of Albrecht Durer in Nuremberg.

It is a very charming steel engraving depicting this famous and existing building until today.

Durer, whose family was notoriously Hungarian, was born in 1471 in Nuremberg.

It remains the most outstanding epresentative of the turn of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance in the art of northern Europe.

He was the author of both

famous series of woodcuts: Apocalypse (1498), Great Passion (1497-1500) and Maria's Life (1500), portraits of Nuremberg patricians

(Young man (1524), Cardinal Albrecht Brandenburg (1519) or portrait of Erasmus from Rotterdam (1526),

and the Altars: Paumgartners with the Birth of Christ (1502-04), Heller (with the Assumption and Coronation of Mary (1508-09)

and Landauer (with Adoration of the Holy Trinity - 1511).

He studied the proportions and the perspective crowned with a copperplate engraving Adam and Eve (1504),

and later, according to ancient sculptures, "Adam" and "Eve" (1507).

In the years 1513-14, the three most famous copperplates of Dürer were created: Knight, Devil and Death (1513),

St. Hieronim in the studio (1514) and Melancholy (1514).

In his work, Dürer sought to combine the Italian Renaissance and the traditions of Dutch realism,

and raising painting and graphic crafts to the rank of liberated art,

for joining Kunst (or theory) and Brauch (or workshop practice), aided by creative inspiration, that is Gewalt.

And how he lived in Nuremberg - you already know.

Discovering the Island, Roxette, Drunk at Night... - Perleporten (Norway) - The Trips of Gerson - Duration: 13:21.

I don't understans a word and I'm freezing!

I drank wine. I'm drunk in the middle of the ocean!

I'm going to die! LOL!

I don't think you can see the night sky here!

It's so beautiful! No clouds!

A sky full of stars!

I can't believe I'll cross the ocean now! It's 23:30!

Prazer em te conhecer!

Meu Deus! Eu não posso sentar! Minha bunda vai congelar!

Estou me sentindo um viking de verdade! Com certeza!

É tão lindo aqui!

É mais lindo do que frio!

Wait! U need to understand what happened!

We were in Perleporten,

then we went to another island at night, to have a dinner,

in a friend of my friend's home,

and I dranked wine and beer at the same time! I never do it!

I barely drink and I get drunk!

When we returned we stopped the boat in the middle of the ocean

turn off all the lights we had. Just one or two.

Then they showed me all that sky, the constellations,

and told me some stories.

That there's that light algae, when the boat is moving

around it it's light, it's a huge experience!

It's a pity I cannot show it, 'cause impossible to record with no lights.

It's time to take a walk to Perleporten's island!

Everytime I hit my head on it!

I'm feeling in the movie The Neverending Story!

I'm going to the sea!

If we're in an island, we go to the sea.

I never saw someone enjoy silence so much as the norwegian people!

Silence and nature.

If you'll be here one day,

If you come to Norway, u must know this!

Your best friend can be a norwegian, receive u at his home and much more,

There will be a moment when you don't talk anymore.

There will be a moment when only the company is enough!

So, dont talk all the time without stop, they don't like it!

Be together don't mean talk all the time!

It means be together!

All this area is preserved.

Evern with houses without fences, you can walk here peacefully.

You're not trespassing a private place or something similar.

Obviously you won't sit down in a chair or something like that.

I want to swim.

How? Only if I wanna die frozen!

Its so different from us, walk closer to these houses.

I have the sensation that I'm trespassing, but where I'm now

is a public place.

We're so conditioner about live in or out of fences,

suddenly you're in a place without fences and you feel lost!

Where I am? Am i doing the right thing? The wrong thing?

Am I'm invading a place, will I have problems with it? What's going on?

But in the truth everything is more simple,

it's a question about common sense and respect.

For you that are enjoying the trips, Subscribe at my channel!!

Share the video!! Like the video!

Activate the notifications, at the little bell!

And have fun!

Yesterday I ate that norwegian food again!

Shrimp, bread, mayonnaise and butter

I think I'm becoming norwegian, this food is more and more delicious!

- Why didn't you filmed again your norwegian dinner?

It's because it woulnd't be polide.

People here don't do selfies all the time,

filming everything,

specially when I'm being invited to go to some houses for the first time!

So I won't do that because they don't like it!

But maybe I'll buy some shrimp and do it to show to you! <3

I baptized this island as The Magic Island of Love!

and it will be until the end of my trip!

Let me live! Let me be creative!

Uma libélula!

Olha essa água! Eu quero nadar! Tão transparente!

I don't know if you're recognizing this place, Roxers,

This is beyond about to feel cold!

It's another reality and a beauty that I can't describe in words!

Norway is that kind of place that

althought u can watch videos and see photos,

be here is completely different!

Live here is completely different. Even for some days!

And this amazing possibility of be with friends instead a hotel,

not doing an obviously path

like museum

and other places

that we go when we see in that lists What To Do in Norway!

it let me live another kind of experience with the country.

This is the one I'm really looking for!

U must think I have something against museums.

No no not! It's the opposite! Museums are amazing and very important!

But my biggest focus when I do a trip,

is meet people

and let them take me and show me what they really love to do.

If I didn't had friends here, in Norway,

I wouldn't be in this island now.

Maybe I wouldn't do half of the things I did.

If I was a triton, maybe I'd live here.

No one would bother me here.

Do you know when you wanna listen music and don't wanna listen at the same time?

It's now!

It's what I always talk! Each five steps in Norway u wanna stop, take photos,

enjoy, listen music, take a nap, think about life,

this place is so beautiful to stay just a few days.

but you need to have a adventurous person!

Open sea of Norway!

It slippery!

I'm so happy about do this trip!

We tried plastic straw alternatives so you don't have to - Duration: 5:05.

I'm Deema and as you know people are ditching plastic straws. So I'm here at

Busboys and poets to try out some alternatives with some friends.

Straw cheers

yes

okay so it made my straw really cold.

yeah

Did it make your really hot?

At first it wasn't really hot and then I got really hot. The straw itself got hot.

Got hot? okay.

Yeah, because of the temperature increase I probably do a

seven. I like it because it's convenient and it's reusable, but I don't really I

don't know about prolonged usage of the hot drinks.

seven. Yeah, seven.

Ready? I've been high-fiving straws. okay we're ready. Alright let's go.

I don't taste any difference from a different straw, you know. Yeah and we're

not killing any sea turtles, again. We're not killing any sea turtles, success!

7-8, because of the color.

Because of the color yeah.

yeah everything else is just the same to me.

I would give this an eight. I'm gonna give this an eight but

I'm also going to...can we come back to it and stick it in something hot? Because I want

to see if it unravels like the other ones do, because that would HIGHLY

determine my rating scale.

This is my problem with the paper it's just like

so soft being in the hot one like I mean that's--that's just like not--that's not

gonna last you. Yeah I don't think it's like the best one to go with.

Alright next up we have bamboo. Okay! I'm super excited. This is like what I've been really

wanting to try. okay I'm pretty sure that's not the straw. I think it's the big one

I think it's the big one. This maybe is a cleaner. Oh yeah oh I think that might be

like a little--oh my god. This is yeah this is already my favorite. First of all

this packing, like packaging is so cute because you can actually put this in

your purse. The small one works better with the hotter drink. Okay I'm gonna try

the medium

I cannot drink out of-- yeah I don't think the medium will work.

I'd give it a high ranking between somewhere between eight and ten. I like it for

actual function the smaller one for drinking just normal drinks stays up

there and five or six it worked and I can imagine that the large one for

smoothies would get a high score, but again just that idea and I'm gonna clean

it with this all the time by myself in the sink. Home use? Not so great.

Restaurant use? I'm like, "how are they cleaning this?" Yeah. I would give about a

9. I like it. The bamboo little like taste even though there was like a

taste to it, I feel for some reason it's cleaner than the metal. Yes. Like I feel

cleaner. But I do really like the kit. Yeah awesome in a stocking. It's cool.

mm-hmm. so this probably my best, my best one so far.

We are going to chemistry

class with the glass straw that definitely throws me back like it's a

test tube, which is already weirding me out a little bit. It's also very large so

it's kind of reminding me of the bamboo, like the large bamboo one, okay. And we're

gonna go coffee first.

I feel like I'm in like chemistry class and I like stole a test tube to go

like drink coffee out of. Its weird.

That's just weird. I don't know how I feel about--I don't know if I like it it.

It's like large in your mouth but it I just I can't get over the chemistry

thing. I'll give it like a seven, because I feel

like it's thick enough for probably wouldn't break and I mean it doesn't have

any type of flavor to it and doesn't alter the taste of anything

and it doesn't get hot or cold, so I think it beats--for me it beats the metal

to be quite honest.

Top winner would be *drumroll*

Bamboo

Thank you to everybody at Busboys

and Poets and all of our friends for allowing us to come try some alternative

straws, so find which one works for you and help save the environment.

Her advice: Don't undersell yourself | Isabelle Mateos y Lago - Duration: 0:28.

Don't undersell yourself.

It's still the case that women need to outperform and be seen to outperform to get to the same

place as men.

I think a great sign of success will be when there's plenty of mediocre women in leading

positions.

But until then, be self-confident and don't hesitate to apply for the jobs you fancy.

How 'creativity sprints' can get your creative brain going | Ryder Carroll - Duration: 3:10.

So I think that curiosity is a highly undervalued phenomenon if you will because you can't really

always explain it.

Sure there are some base things that we're curious about.

We're curious about eating.

We're curious around other people.

But sometimes we're curious about things that we just can't explain to ourselves.

And that's something that we shouldn't underestimate because that is a force that draws us into

the world unlike any other.

You can't fake curiosity.

If you're curious about something you're curious about it and that's it and it doesn't require

any more explanation.

But I do think that it requires significantly more investigation.

So if you're curious about a subject matter or a project or a problem in the world or

something like that I think it's our responsibility to figure out how we can cultivate that curiosity,

right.

In an all or nothing world I feel like a lot of times we immediately set this expectation

that we have to become an expert in everything, right.

And I think that that sets us up for failure.

We have to have a lot of knowledge or no knowledge at all.

But our curiosity is simply the needle in our inner compass pointing towards something.

And compasses aren't, don't point true north, right.

So essentially it's up to us to figure out what that curiosity actually is.

So how do we cultivate our curiosity practically?

The best way that I found is through sprints.

And sprints are essentially self-contained micro goals.

And they're structured to be less than 30 days long, so ideally a week or two.

They have no barrier to entry so you don't have to wait for anybody or anything.

You can get started today and they have to have a clearly defined set of tasks or actions

so you can get started.

These sprints will allow you to cultivate your curiosity because you'll focus on one

small aspect of something that could be significantly larger.

And then once you're done with that sprint you can take a step back and see what did

that spring teach you.

What exactly were you curious about.

Are you still curious about this or did all of a sudden your curiosity shift.

So essentially through sprints you're able to learn very specific goals.

A, which is great if you are curious about cooking, for example.

Maybe you learn knife skills and in that process you start learning more about cooking.

But you still have the knife skills even if you walk away from that project all together.

Sprints are really great because they allow us to try things on for size without wasting

a lot of time and energy.

And they allow us to build over time on these curiosities.

You can take one sprint and then follow it with another sprint and another sprint and

those sprints will change depending on what you learn along the way.

So that way you can take something very big and seemingly overwhelming and break it down

into very actionable steps.

Student Leadership Retreat: What If I Don't Know Anyone At Camp? - Duration: 10:02.

Treta: Hi everyone, my name is Treta.

Precious: Hi, I'm Precious!

Stokely: And I'm Stokely, and we're here to tell you about our experience at the Leadership Retreat.

Treta: When I went I only knew like, one person. When I came back, I knew almost everyone. That's all I can say!

Stokely: That's true, what about you, Precious?

Precious: Well, before I left, I have to say I knew a lot of people already.

Stokely: Miss popular!

Precious: No, not that! I'd previously been with FYE, I'd previously been on the orientation team.

So, it's like, the same sort of people that usually does the same activities, like getting involved,

which is why I knew most people, especially from North Campus.

I knew almost every single person from North Campus.

Stokely: But for me it was a little bit different, right, because I wasn't really that active apart from the vice-president role.

But I was introduced to so many wonderful people that I didn't even know came to Humber College.

Both from the North Campus or from Lakeshore.

Precious: The Guelph-Humber students, I did not know them.

Stokely: So those persons as well.

And then, the integration that we've had this time around... I can't speak about previous ones,

but I've heard from the staff that this was the first time that they've had such a warm group where everyone interacted.

So, it didn't matter what campus you were from, right.

You were put in groups, you did the activities with everyone.

Remember that time when we built-

Precious: Oh, yes I do!

Stokely: We were supposed to build a world, island, right, without speaking, without saying anything!

Precious: To anybody!

Stokely: Everybody did their part.

Treta: That was awesome, that was awesome.

Stokely: You definitely would have been making friends.

Precious: The teamwork was amazing!

Stokely: Yes, you will be learning team-building skills, right.

Treta: You just feel like you're welcome. You're there because they care for you as well.

But you can think about it this way as well:

The same boat you are in, is the same boat that they are in as well.

You might not know 10 people and they might not know anyone. So, you're both in the same boat.

You're going to get to know more people if you interact.

You're going to get to know more leaders on the campus if you interact.

And you get to know a lot about campus as well. I learned a lot of things about campus.

Stokely: And that's another leadership part. I mean, these are some intelligent people that you're around.

But they have so much fun!

You'd wonder how the two mix, right? But for real, they are the persons that will speak volume into your life.

That's for sure.

They will break you out of a shell if it is that you're in one.

They'll probably put you into a shell if you need to be consoled.

You tend to learn the different personalities that are there and you interact with them,

and they touch your life in one way or another.

Treta: Absolutely, yeah.

Treta: The icebreakers.

Just by looking around the room, you could see, like, 100 smiles - not 100 - 50 smiles around. It was amazing.

Honestly, everyone enjoyed them and yeah, we learned a lesson from them,

but I'm more of a person who would do hand-on-hand, like hand-on experience and then learn, rather than sitting in a classroom.

Well, we didn't have a classroom section, but you know what I mean!

So, I enjoyed more of hands-on stuff, and icebreakers and learning from it,

than just them telling us what it was, type of a thing. So, yeah that was my favourite part!

Precious: My favourite part was at the end where we could pick up paper bags, and you would open it on the bus.

It's funny because as much time as we actually spend with each other, you don't actually see people drop stuff in your paper bag.

And then you go at the end of the day, which is when we can actually pick it up, at the end of the retreat I mean,

when you go pick it up and then you see all of these notes in there, and you're reading it...

Stokely: Yeah, the goody bags are just the best things ever, right?

Precious: So many amazing words!

Yeah, it was very heartfelt.

Stokely: For me it was the activities though.

The activities were like real camp activities.

So we had rock climbing, where it was team rock climbing, right.

You had everybody trying, and then you had to stand on the pole and hold hands and shimmy off of it, so that was one.

The snowshoeing, I didn't get to do that one, I wanted to do that one.

Walking on the show and treading through... what else was there?

Treta: Skiing.

Stokely: Skiing was there...

Treta: Oh, it was amazing!

Precious: It was the best thing ever!

Stokely: The sad thing is that you can't get to do everything, right, so you had to choose, and I was like "arghhh!"

I love rock climbing so that was the only reason that I did that one.

Precious: Some people did some, um, there were indoors instead. You just did painting right?

Very nice paintings.

Stokely: You could do cards, so yeah, the activities were on point.

Treta: It was amazing.

Treta: I never did skiing before so it was great for me.

Precious: First time, right? I know, I was like, "wait, I'm going to fall!"

Treta: The amount of times we fell!

We went together, and oh my gosh, the amount of times we fell!

But, hey, we weren't injured, so...

Precious: Yeah, we enjoyed it! It was so wet afterwards!

Stokely: Yeah? Oh man, see? That's what I missed.

Treta: But yeah, it was great, we did things that we wouldn't be able to do, unless we go up north, you know?

It was amazing. Great experience.

Thanks retreat!

Interviewer: For somebody who doesn't know what these paper bags are, can someone explain what they are?

Stokely: Okay, so the paper bags that we were introduced to, we more or less got...

You know those brown paper bags? Regular brown paper bags.

But then we were supposed to make them individualized.

So, you had to put a design on it, put your name on it or something.

Precious: Your name was key so that people could find it!

Stokely: Exactly, right. So you could put your name on it.

And what it was instrumental for is to, more or less, leave a message or a note

for the person without them knowing that it was you that sent it, right.

So, you would have some, more or less, like... what do you call those things?

Compliments, right!

So you'd write compliments down like, "Wow, you know, you really spoke well today," you know,

and then you drop it in the person's bag.

So, they weren't able to look at the notes until the camp was done, right.

So we'd have like a graduation ceremony where we hand each other the goody bags.

And when you're on the bus, that's when you actually had a chance to go through,

or when you go home you actually get to look through all the notes.

So, it was really, really touching because you would see what your life brings to someone else that you didn't ever know.

So for me, the compliments that I got constantly was,

"Wow, your smile brightened my day," or, "I really appreciate your smile."

So for me it was like, woah, I probably can use this!

For something, other than, you know, smiling for food or something!

Precious: And we created the paper bags the day we actually got there.

Like, right after putting our stuff in the cabin.

Stokely: So, that was almost like the fist activity.

Precious: Yeah, so, they made us do that so that at the end, because we had different activities on different days,

and different people would shine on different days, you would get to see more different people on different days.

So, at the end of each day we would encourage, like, write something about someone.

Stokely: Yeah, so you just write something about the person and drop it in the bag.

Treta: Yeah.

Stokely: I think one of the greatest questions that was asked is like, "Who would you want to have coffee with?"

And so therefore you'd write that, you know, "I'd like to have coffee with you," and you'd drop it in the bag.

So it was really, really interesting to see how many persons would want to.

Treta: And, like, how you impact others as well.

You might not know what impact you create on others as a leader, as a person in general,

but when you hear, or, when you read this, it was amazing to figure out and get to know how impactful you are.

And you get to learn about yourself as well.

Like, oh, hey, I actually am nice as I'm comforting, like, I'm good at comforting someone.

Or, I... I actually got a note saying,

"I would actually have you as my cabin mate again if you were to go to the retreat."

And I'm like, "Aw!"

So yeah, no, you learn a lot of stuff about yourself,

and all the compliments really boosts you up.

And when I was opening it I was, like, I was about to cry,

like, "Oh my gosh, this is so nice!"

You know, when someone compliments you?

It was heart-touching, you know?

So, yeah!

Stokely: It became very emotional at one point, or a couple times, right?

Treta and Precious: Yeah!

Stokely: But there was one point in time when it really became almost...

Um...

Almost real, you know?

Like, surreal, you know?

It was almost like a surreal moment-

Precious: Woah! We forgot something!

Remember when Cory made us sit in the...

Stokely: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, right!

Precious: Yeah, that was so cool! Oh my Lord!

Stokely: Do you want to talk about it?

Precious: Oh! Yeah! Now it's like-

Treta: She's still crying!

Stokely: Maybe you guys need to come to experience this one for sure.

Precious: I cannot explain this one, this one is... no...

Treta: No, this one is not explainable.

Stokely: You have to experience it.

Precious: The highest of emotions!

Because, like, you're closing your eyes and people are supposed to touch you if they believe that you are...

Cory would read out a scenario, and then-

Stokely: Exactly.

Right, so he would, Cory would say...

Oh, and touch is like on the knee or on the shoulder, okay?

Precious: Or you would put your hand out if you don't want people touching you on the shoulder.

Stokely: Exactly. So he would say,

"Touch someone that really spoke into your life."

And then, you'd probably feel almost like 10, 15, 20 people just touching you right.

Like really? I've made that much impact in this short time, you know?

So it was really, really a wonderful experience.

Precious: Thank you for watching our YouTube video.

Made 1,000 Meals For Hurricane Victims – Gets No Attention In The Media - Duration: 3:19.

A year ago, in Aug, 2017, we witnessed the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey across

Southern Texas — a force of nature that swept away everything in its path.

The hurricane took over 50 lives.

It forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes and demolished communities.

And many people have been forced to start over from scratch.

It's said that it will take years to rebuild the towns and areas that have been affected.

But it's in the hardest times that people have the opportunity to show their best side.

Ordinary people, volunteers, companies and non-profit organizations, they all came together

in the aftermath of the hurricane to do everything in their power to help each other.

And Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge was no different.

Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge owners Phe Nguyen and Binh Nguyen in Port Arthur Texas, watched

the disaster unfold within their community.

They knew then that no matter what, they would contribute however they could to aid in helping

their community.

Their mission; to provide hurricane victims with a delicious meal no matter what it takes.

In just one day they provided thousands of food boxes to supply those in need.

Though the unsung heroes of Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge were unphased by not receiving

any media attention for their efforts, Phe Nguyen's son, Keith felt his father and

the hard-working staff at Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge deserved to be acknowledged.

Not only for their tireless efforts but for their noble give back to the community, Keith

went to Facebook sharing his message of recognition and praise for the restaurant and its staff:

‪My dad and uncle Binh own a restaurant in Southeast Texas and they were also effected

by Harvey but the media doesn't cover it.

Today them, their staff and volunteers helped create over 1000 meals for victims, first

responders, and other volunteers.

My dad and uncle are both very humble about it but I believe they atleast deserve recognition

and appreciation for everything that they do.

Their restaurant is Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge in Port Arthur, Tx.

If you're ever in the area you should stop by and support these hard working men, or

even share their good deed on facebook.

They deserve it.‬ Keith ended his post by saying, "If you're

ever in the area you should stop by and support these hard-working men, or even share their

good deed on Facebook.

They deserve it."

But Keith was not expecting the widespread result of what happened next.

The post about their inspiring story was not only recognized but went viral being shared

over 444,000 times and receiving over a million interactions worldwide!

"Words cannot describe our gratitude and thanks for your great deed.

We are all united!" one user wrote.

In a time where lives were lost, families left shocked, and neighbors huddled in shelters

awaiting relief, the efforts of those who stand strong to provide for those in need

should never go unnoticed, as their impact is felt to all those affected.

This story among countless other heroes during the relief strategies taken place from Hurricane

Harvey reminds us that it's true, not all heroes wear a cape.

I think we should help share this story even further to pay tribute to this restaurant's

wonderful initiative.

Talk about heroes!

BEAT LONELINESS | Diego Mesa - Duration: 28:30.

Oh

today one of the biggest world's epidemics has nothing to do with drugs

or alcohol or promiscuity or abductions the biggest epidemic today is loneliness

it's the feeling and emotion of being useless the lack of affection the loss

of purpose in someone's life something is missing something is absent from

their life the ache of the heart the empty feeling I just feel like I'm

falling behind like in a race I can't keep up or like in school I'm falling

behind well I'm falling behind in my goals and

my dreams and my ambitions and my happiness I just feel like I'm losing it

it's so prevalent today that in the United Kingdom this past year never

existing before in their Parliament there was a position in a title it's

called minister of loneliness job description research and resolve why

there's so much loneliness in our nation now that may be funny when you think

about loneliness from Charlie Brown or Carl Fredricksen or Joe Dirt or Greta

Garbo but it's not funny when you're talking about Kate Spade and you're

talking about Robin Williams and you're talking about verne troyer

and you're talking about Anthony Bourdain nor are you talking about four

students from the Rancho Cucamonga high school a ten-year-old boy a 15 year old

girl a 16 year old boy and a 16 year old girl or down the street and Chino

California where a pastor feels like his life is over I want you to recognize

amongst all generations past present and future the greatest generation today

that's been affected and targeted by loneliness is young Millennials and Gen

Z's where other generations seem to be able to cope and rebound and deal it

seems as though they don't have the mechanics to do something like that they

lack conversations and meaningful relationships and

connections and interactions with people probably bought brought about by social

media being such a dominant force or smartphones in their lives they've

surrounded themselves with artificial intelligence or something that controls

their emotions and feelings that's why I would tell every young parent today that

is still parenting children today one of the greatest antidotes to break the

spirit of loneliness in people's lives is one word or two words family time you

begin to develop family time vacations traditions meals interests

devotions fun make sure your children are sleeping enough and eating good and

exercise and you have diminished loneliness from their life take family

vacations build traditions around holidays have family devotions where you

pray together game night where you have fun together where you support each

other's interests that you go dirt different places together all these

things will deal with loneliness I want you to recognize three strong words

why is loneliness such an epidemic in our society I'll tell you three words

that is being broken down to cause loneliness to manifest there is the

absence of love or the lack of love in people's lives number two there's the

absence and lack of hope in people's lives and there is the absence and lack

of peace at people's lives that's why they feel so lonely they don't feel

loved they don't believe there's any hope for their life or their future or

their circumstance and they lack peace of mind their minds are restless yet

Jesus spoke about these three things in our lives in the scriptures it says who

shall separate us from the love of God and then he's gonna list things that

can't separate you from God's love tribulation distress persecution famine

nakedness peril or sword as it is written for

sake we are killed all day long where accounted as sheep for the slaughter

yet in all things we're more than conquerors through him who loved us for

I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor Angels nor principalities nor

powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor death nor any other

created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God every word every

emotion everything that you could ever face is found in those verses but if I

feel lonely today I'm allowing the enemy to separate me from the love of God the

second scripture says this why are you cast down all my soul

why are you disquieted within me hope in God my hope is not in a marriage my hope

is not in my kids my hope is not in giordano trump my hope is not in the

Democratic reporting my hope is not in my boss my hope is not in my look this

is what people are building their hope on that's why when there's the absence

of that they are lonely I love my wife but my wife is not my hope I love my

kids that my kids aren't my hope I may love the things of this world but

they're not my hope my hope is found in God and the Bible says about peace it

says this that will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me because

he trusts in you see my mind is on everything else except God so that's why

I can't find peace today I just want you to know today as we navigate through

this I'm gonna share very quickly some examples of people that face loneliness

in the scriptures and here's the thought that you need to understand we all feel

it nobody is absent from the feeling of loneliness I don't care how rich you are

I don't care how cute you are I don't care what's going on in your life we one

time or another we all fill it why because this is a fallen world and evil

is all around us in according to 2nd Corinthians 4:4 whether you believe it

or not the Bible says Satan is the god of this world

stun he can influence things he could he can influence things which can cause us

to feel lonely so I want you to know we all at one time or another feel lonely

the thought is this we all deal with it differently we all deal with loneliness

differently when you're not wired the same even two brothers and two sisters

in the same home deal with it differently some deal with in a good way

some deal with in a bad way some deal with it in a healthy way unhealthy

productive and unproductive some people deal with their own loneliness by they

they eat too much some people deal with loneliness they don't eat some people

deal with their loneliness by sleeping around some people deal with their

loneliness by looking at an internet sites where they shouldn't be looking at

some people deal with their loneliness by being a workaholic some people deal

with their loneliness by working out too much some people deal with their

loneliness by shopping and spending money some people deal with their

loneliness through alcohol and drugs but every person deals with their loneliness

differently we all have times and seasons where we are more vulnerable to

loneliness than before there are times and seasons and that's why you and I

need to be mindful of those times and seasons because they keep coming around

the corner a scripture that really means a lot to me is proverbs 19:21

and that is many are the plans in the mind of man but it is the purpose of the

Lord that will stand a lot of the times I feel like I want to control my life I

want to know what's gonna happen next but sometimes we just don't know and

it's up to God to just lead us into a way where we will eventually know so

all I have to say is that just trust in God trust in his plan trust in what we

don't know and just be comfortable in the unknown because God is in control my

name is Val and that is my word on the street we all have times and seasons

when we are more vulnerable to loneliness than before

there are times and seasons and that's why you and I need to be mindful of

those times and seasons because they keep coming around the corner and the

enemy attacks us so people are more vulnerable to loneliness during the

holidays because it's the absence of my mom and my cousin my child I remember it

so I feel really lonely during Thanksgiving and Christmas

I feel real lonely around the anniversary of my marriage or my child

cuz they're no longer here when I feel betrayed and I get denied I feel very

lonely it's an automatic response the moment a door shut in my face I get mad

I get upset the moment something's denied and it takes long and it's

delayed I feel lonely that's how you're wired some people shake it off you can't

you're vulnerable and you're susceptible when you feel lonely some people are

vulnerable susceptible when they're tired I've been I'm just tired

some people are vulnerable susceptible when pressure is put on them but we all

have different lengths and duration that it's sticks and it stays with us some

people could shake loneliness off in seconds and minutes but then some it

takes hours and days and I'm sad to say there are some that it takes months and

years they never can shake the loneliness off but here's the good news

when it comes to loneliness we all have a means and opportunity of escaping

loneliness life is not fair but God is just and God is the equalizer you don't

have to stay lonely that's the good news it comes it's real but you have a choice

you don't have to stay lonely because God gives us a way of escape and

God is the equalizer life is not fair

life is not fair so here's the scales I go to church I pray I never cheated on

my wife I pay my tithe I'm nice to people but now I got terminal disease I

lost my job my wife committed adultery on me life's not fair but here's the

good news God is just and God is the equalizer now

that overwhelms the ugliness of tape that takes place and he provides a way

of escape no temptation is overtaking you if such as common to man but God is

faithful who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able watch

this I love this but with the temptation will also make a way of escape no matter

how boxed in no matter how hemmed in no matter how closed in you are God always

has a backdoor God always has a way of escape one of my favorite scripture

Psalms 93 surely shall deliver thee from the snare of the Fowler Oh King James

says the noisome pestilence that God will deliver you from the noisome

pestilence I love that word it's we don't use it often noise some but it

means this misfortunes God knows how to save you and deliver you through

misfortunes I just gave you some examples of misfortunes now understand

this God delivers two ways and so it's very important through your theology

today and understanding God that's why people don't understand God they get mad

at God because they don't understand him so they say if God is a good God and God

is a loving God why didn't he stop this from happening where did that come from

when you need to say is that God is a good God God is a loving God he chose

not to stop it but he chose to provide a way of escape from it God can deliver

you from something and God can deliver you through some

think we don't like it when God doesn't deliver us from something because as

Christians or society or people we don't want to go through nothing I don't want

to get in one argument I don't want to get in one fight I don't want to get in

one cold I don't want to get in one disagreement I don't want to have one

flat tire I don't want all my any of my dogs to die I want them to live what

world are you living in so it's God's fault that your dog died

so you're gonna stop believing in God because he should have stopped your dog

from dying you going outside and you got a flat tire on a brand new tire that you

paid 75 dollars over so if God is God why didn't he stop that flat tire now as

silly as those would be none of you would blame your dog died nor a flat

tire but you'll blame other things on God but God says he will deliver us no

matter what past president future God is a deliverer Elijah understood what

loneliness was all about and Ahab taught just about all that

Elijah had done and how he had executed the prophets with the sword Elijah had

killed 430 450 of Jezebel's prophets then Jezebel sent a messenger Elijah

saying so let the gods do to me and more also if I do not make your life as one

of them by tomorrow about this time she put out a threat on him and put out a

contract on him and said I if not I will hire someone to take you out brother man

I for an eye tooth for a tooth the school man you kill 450 of my prophets

I'm taking you out so here's what it says and when he saw that in his mind he

arose and ran for his life and went to bare Sheba which belongs to Judah and he

left his servant there enlike felt loneliness like you and I how do want

you and I feel loneliness when we're going through problems and hardships and

difficulty and opposition and obstacles whether that is on

work or whether that relates to our calling whether that relates to what

people are doing or the fears of our lives if you read more a have the king

called and labeled him a troubler elijah never did anything purposefully he just

obeyed the calling I'm God how many of you know people will call you a trouble

or they don't like you and you never did anything to anyone but everywhere he

goes he's been labeled a trouble so he's feeling lonely about that then Jezebel

puts a threat out to say I'm gonna kill you and that fear begins to drive him

into a wilderness and you I'm hoping you know enough of the story if not he will

become suicidal he'll want to commit suicide he'll stop eating he all he

wants to do is sleep all the time he believes he's the only one ever to go

through this and he doesn't want to believe in God anymore he doesn't want

to do another thing for God he stops going to church and praying basically

all because he faced the loneliness of his life so here's the lesson that you

and I can learn from him don't leave those that you serve because the last

word here is he left his servant there see there's a tendency when you're

lonely to want to be alone and those that love you will say you know what let

me come with you let me be with you let me hold your hand let me help you know

get out of here I want to be alone I don't want anything to do with you so he

begins to leave the person that matters the most

he believes that he leaves the person that cares the most he leaves the person

that loves him the most and there's a tendency for loneliness to drive us to a

place where we desert and we leave the people that care for us the most

he leaves his servant there the thing that I would tell Elijah is he tells us

the lesson is this is nothing is worth ending your life over nothing nothing is

worth ending your life over Elijah is suicidal in

and there's nothing that you could face the loss the greatest pain the greatest

illness the greatest sickness and I say that with empathy and sympathy and I say

that by saying I'm sorry that it happened to you but nothing is worth

ending your life over

because he'll come to him and he'll say there's a king that needs to be an

anointed and there's a prophet that needs to be anointed and you want to

give up and you want to say it's over but I'm not giving up on you and there's

still more for you to do and I wish I could tell that person that feels like

ending their lives there's still more in your future it won't always be like this

there are children there are grandchildren there's a marriage there's

a honeymoon there's a new job there's a new something coming in your life look

back and just for a moment in faint cuz you're irrational right now loneliness

makes you feel harassed you know just think for a moment those that you say

you love when you take your life how devastated they will be and they will

blame themselves they'd have to live in the horror of what you do you think your

life is ended now and it's over you left them now for the rest of their life and

they will now have to contemplate and now deal with the devil that says it's

your fault something to think about I want to think about it Elijah nothing is

worth you ending your life over

hey I want to personally invite you to abundant living family church if you're

ever in the area come by and visit us if you're far away

millenniums baby boomers and all kinds of people we love making people feel

warmed and welcomed and we love the challenge of presenting and preaching

the gospel to people that have never ever been to church so don't be

intimidated come and visit us we won't hurt you

god bless so there's a tendency that you and I will get lonely when I make a

mistake bad decision bad choice I failed I'm living in sin you'll feel very very

lonely when you're in a place like that I want you to recognize that thought is

this there was an industrial man in the 1900s who needed a job and so he put out

a want ad in the newspaper and he said I'll listen to anybody for the next

threat for 30 minutes and only charge you five dollars he averaged 40

customers a day because there was tons of people that needed someone to talk to

see Moses teaches us this control your negative emotions Moses had an anger

problem whenever he got angry he did some bad stuff he killed someone he ate

me grinded up the Ten Commandments he you know he struck the rock so I want

you to recognize control your negative emotions listen to Jethro's advice

listen to people that are wiser than you more mature than you people that have

soundness in their life listen to Jethro's advice and get and go to the

well and get help he went to the well and he got help you need to go to the

well and get help get well you got to get well and last of

all is Paul and I'm gonna close with this in second Timothy for Paul is

toward the end of his life he's living in a cold dark prison cell not not not

like our five-star prisons you know get to play volleyball for one hour and

bring you three meals a day that's that's that's not what it you have a TV

and a cell phone stack of newspapers have you a little

but go buy some supplies you don't get that in a Roman prison in a Roman

president is down deep where the sewer system is of the city so crap is

floating right in front of you and rats are right there and your back is beatin

blue Rallis and you're all there you have no interaction with anybody else

you are literally in fetters and chains in your hands and your feet that's where

he is this once-great apostle where thousands would show up to hear him

where paparazzi would take his picture where all these young preachers went

amen brother amen can I hold your Bible can I Drive you around wanted to be

around him now he's in a prison the Bible says this verse six Ryan for I'm

already being poured out as a drink offering in my time of departure is at

hand you go to verse 9 be diligent to come to me quickly for demas has

forsaken me having loved this present world and departed for Thessalonica

Grecian for Galatia Titus and Marley Titus for Dalma to only Lucas with me

get mark and bring him with you for he is useful for me to her ministry and

tisha cos I have sent to Ephesus bring the cloak that I left at Karpis at Troas

and when you come the books especially the parchment Alexander the coppersmith

didn't mean much harm may the Lord repay him according to his works

you must also beware of this man for he has greatly resisted our words at my

first defense no one stood with me but all forsook me but may it not be charged

to them but the Lord stood with me and strengthened

me so that the message might be preached fully through me this is Paul fili

loneliness now he's feeling loneliness because people have rejected him and

deserted him betrayed him and and abandoned him that maybe he counted on

so the lessons I learned from Paul are this watch this it's found right there

so simple it's epic right now verse number thirteen bring the cloak that I

left at Karpis and the books especially the parchments when you feel lonely go

find your cloak and find your books I

don't know what your cloak is but you better know what your focus

you ever find yourself feeling alone like no one's there for you make sure to

tune in next week Diego mess will be sharing some tips on how to beat

loneliness we'll see you then you know the Bible says it's appointed unto men

once to die and after that is judgment it goes on to further say we will all

stand before the judgment seat of Christ see God is a judge I don't know if

you've ever pinned it for a judge or a courtroom it could be pretty

intimidating God is a judge and because he's a judge he has to judge our life

the Bible says that everything we've ever said thought or done he knows about

I don't know about you I want to be I want those things forgotten I want those

things removed I want a judge to be righteous toward me

and kind toward me and the way that you will get a great judgment is by

accepting God's sacrifice for your sin see Jesus came to this earth to take the

judgment that was due to you and I so you and I would never have to experience

the penalty of that judgment but you need to know today that God is a just

judge you can't lie to him you can't connive him you can't deceive

him he knows everything so it'd be better for us just to say I'm guilty I

did it but I accept Jesus who took the penalty the wrath of your judgment

against me so I never have to be judged for the wrong that I've done today

today God is here to love you by being a loving judge in a kind judge and a

forgiving judge not a judge of wrath damnation and punishment but that comes

because you accept Jesus Christ his son who came to take the penalty of your

judgment so if you're ready to be forgiven of the transgressions and the

sins and the disobedience of your life and never have to experience the

consequences and just say this Jesus come and live in my heart you are my

judge today and I accept Jesus who paid the price

for all the bad things that I've ever done and I will forever be changed thank

you for loving me today in Jesus name thanks for watching

hey I want to personally invite you to abundant living family church if you're

BEST KEYBINDS FOR FORTNITE & PC BEGINNERS - FORTNITE BEGINNER SETTINGS - Duration: 11:45.

hey guys in this video I'm gonna be showing you the best beginner fort like

key buns and settings for people that are new to PC as they struggle to get

used to key bindings we're making the switch or for people new to fortnight as

for tonight requires more bindings than most other games on the market just the

weapon slots and pickaxe alone requires six bindings this may not seem a lot but

it is as you only really use about 30% of your keyboard for PC gaming which

equates to around only 30 keys so using the six weapon slots binds is already

one fifth of your key binds

before we get into the video make sure you smash the hell out of that like

button subscribe to the channel and turn on my post notification so you don't

miss any of my future uploads it also helps me and the channel out a lot I

hope you guys enjoy the video so as you guys may already know I switched a PC

coming up about three months ago now I you should play ps4 before this and at

start I really really struggled there's a video on my youtube really console to

PT progressions so you can watch that to see what I thought I was at the start

and how much I've developed but yeah let's jump into the sense so I did put a

lot of time and effort into finding these key bindings because at the start

of fortnight I'll see when your report you just want to improve loads and I

sort of just try to work out was the fastest way for me to improve and it

will see just getting good key binds and getting used to them quickly so I'm

gonna show you them right now so of see window mode apparently playing full

screen can help you help your frames and stuff but I play stretch res if you want

to play stretched res you there's like different tutorials and YouTube has a

door and it's pretty easy so I play stretch res because it's you get higher

frames and it just feels a lot smoother in my opinion and people say about the

hitboxes but that's a bit controversial in place super stretch rest is my scream

don't rely kids yeah that's why I play windows

fullscreen I've only got a 144 Hertz monitor so this is why I cut the frame

rate limit otherwise it's literally just wasted frames for my reason so yeah you

just keep all that these settings here these are so I always basically get good

FPS the only game-changer here is the view distance I'll say because it does

actually offer a competitive advantage obviously if your screen is rendering in

quicker than your opponent's you might be able to see them before they see you

so here we go on the cents so I play 0.15 right now X&Y on controller I used

to use a higher X than Y but I don't do that anymore most PC players just use

the same x and y i use 0.15 which is kind of low considering I play only 400

dpi so this relates to about 60 EBP I because it's 400 times 0.15 I've got a

video on that already on my channel so if you want to find out more about um

dpi so there'll Co don't use controller so that's irrelevant mouse targeted

sensitivity I just have it just like middle grounds or C yeah I think it's

still like quite phishing and sniper I know people that literally use it like

0.2 0.3 but I like sniping a lot so I don't think I could really do that

but it's all it's like still accurate enough that you can hit short of their

midair shorts when gliding so recently I've got a few kills when people have

been colliding in the air and I've just tracked him with an AR and managed to

kill him midair so yeah I quite like syrup all right well see that has to

adjust your sensitivity as well or see if your friend insanely high DPI and

sensitivity you'd want to turn that down otherwise that be not really sensitive

all control is still I have streaming mode off because I permit my names and

stuff control options top of Sprint I have off sprint by default I have fun I

think this is really good because then it allows me to use spoiler alert are

you gypped for my crouch I think just holding down shift all the time to

sprint and be like couple annoying I just find it a lot easier when building

this stuff you don't have to hold on spring all the time I just release it

there pressure so tap to search I think everyone has a soft chuckle targeting

I've all free set building choice not really relevant on PC aim-assist

I have on but you didn't get that on PC edit mode aim assist you want to turn

this off because it basically like screws up credits you want to just do

all these manually so everybody build in I'll see how fun it would be quite hard

if it wasn't all tool also material change yeah you have on controller auto

run yeah I don't really matter also over the doors you want that a hot

shooter wannabe if there's their enemy the other side of the door you don't

just run up to an area but also pick up weapons off port a sort consumables -

right this is really good so this is when you like pick up a big shield and

instead of going into your second slot where you might be most comfortable with

like a shotgun or something this just puts it straight to the right

where most people hold the Gila Bulls so that's really useful yeah and then these

matter yeah so brightness such as output at 0.5 just a little more a voice chat I

haven't won because voice chats normally quite quiet and I normally prefer going

in distant good sound FX up on 0.5 I find this is quite good you want to just

like just adjust your headphones and stuff and just try and find cuz I could

have like max max sound FX but then like really quiet windows volume so it's just

finding the middle grounds I can't really recommend because I doesn't know

what you're using or C subtitles or Ahnold I think that this really matters

push-to-talk I have off I don't really see the purpose in this it's just

another button to press like if you're in a build fight and you're trying to

communicate with your partner like holding down enough of button while

she's trying to go full-speed I think it's bit like silly voice chat will see

on have all my settings where a lot of people I know do have colorblind on but

I don't really like it I just like the normal colors right so here we're

getting into the main key vines so I'll see after wsd for me

spacebar yeah the jump that standard so spring I have this not bound because

like I said I also sprint but I do have also run on so if I want us what arms

source out my inventory what's running I find this is very helpful all like

dropping stuff teammates I have that as T so that's quite first I can click this

with my index finger so Crouch like I said I haven't a shift or normally be

most people sprint see fire and target left-right reloads I have this are

finally this was the default I think that's what's good to use so this is

where it gets interesting as you have to logitech g502 proteus spectrum and it

has a little mouse button say that's the mouse button

obstinate tool not bound you don't need that weapons slot one I have as Mel

swore up so all I need to do is just scroll my scroll wheel up my weapons

slot to is not K it's on the Logitech mouse is you can go out this one need a

pack and you can click to the right so you click your scroll wheel to the right

and then that gets up my shotgun this normally is this is always shotgun and

slot one is always smg's slot free a ours and then slit for I have is like my

RPG or sniper and there's slot 5 as my he levels so yeah and then you go see V

and X these are all next to each other so that's quite easy to remember and

it's right under the w SD obviously so they're quite easy to click approach my

building I don't actually have on I probably should do right so then wall is

another Mouse bind and stairs is another Mouse bind so I know a lot of the pros

have their walls and stairs or on their mouse appears or see you're gonna be

using these and it's quite handy my floor as f this

is right next to day so I can click it with my finger really easily and then I

have E which is above D so if liturgy got my pyramid and floor right next to D

so I can click these proper easily so trap I have mouse wheel down I find this

quite comfortable I don't know why I used to have it as T but then I found

myself clicking the wrong button a lot cuz you're basically gonna be using

traps when people like break down into your box and stuff so at that instance

you're panicking so I think it's something you need to be able to click

quickly and correctly every time because if I accidentally clicked are like I'm

not going to get the trap off and they they're probably carelessly it's just to

try and cancel a lot scenario basically place building I've got my left mouse

button and repair an upgrade or some I've got as g8 building I've as our I

know some people don't like this because they accidentally click it sometimes but

that's fine right me I live Gino changed building materials of civilized

man right mouse button left mouse button flat so this I this is pay no I did not

click the furthest key for my edits this is also a mouse bind the typical hubsan

tool this is what you click to get your pickaxe out this is below my shift I'll

see the control really easy because if you think my I'm pinky's gonna be on the

shift the whole time so then I know she just move it down and click control for

like pickaxe having none of these vehicle works here too and free they're

right next to each other this doesn't matter really they just go like a girl

thing ammo just slot one Google map I have as cute

4X4 Namibia, Sandwich Harbor, Episode 166 - Duration: 3:16.

This adventure takes place in remote northwest Namibia

We continue from the town of Swakopmund.

We head south on the main and only highway.

The road ends at a salt plant.

On the south side of town.

Time to let some air out of the tires

and engage 4WD.

Our objective is Sandwich Harbor.

But there are no roads leading to Sandwich Harbor.

Just inshore tracks

beach sand and dune driving.

We opted for the inland option.

According to our trusty Tracks 4 Africa...

We are heading approximately back to the coast.

The problem with large sand dunes

is that Ben's little car struggles to get over the top.

In this case, even reach the top.

But Ben is determined.

Ben gets out and looks for alternatives.

If you can't get over it, then go around it.

We're still looking for a way around that big dune.

This lowland option is a maze

and this slippery black muck is easy to get stuck in.

Success

Back in the dunes we find a track.

At last we reach the coast again

and the border of the Namib-Naukluft Park.

We continue south along the beach.

Where we meet a girl sunbathing.

But she doesn't like Ben's paparazzi photo style.

Ok, maybe just one more photo.

Late in the day we ran out of beach.

We had reached a point where the dunes ended in the surf.

We decided to setup another free camp for the night.

These are the classic surreal images of Namibia.

Real man's Chuckalaka, beans and onions.

Wow.

Just north of Sandwich Harbor.

Good morning on day 4.

Ben has noticed that his wheels are not turning properly.

It's spinning? This one is spinning.

and the rear one? Was the right one spinning?

No.

It's just spinning on one side

so I've gotta get that fixed in Swakop.

But first we need to dig the car out.

Our goal? Return to Swakopmund.

In Walvis Bay, Ben finds a place

that can take a look at the diff-lock.

Tribe Won't Let Rescuers Retrieve Man's Body On North Sentinel Island - UPDATE - Duration: 4:39.

The Body of John Allen Chau, the American missionary who was killed when he went to

North Sentinel island, is still buried on the beach somewhere.

And now, the indian authorities are having a really hard time retrieving his body.

Like I get that this really sucks for Chau's family and friends, but is it even worth retrieving

his body from the island if it means putting authorities in danger?

Welcome back to inform overload, where we tell you about the most interesting news stories

on the internet.

I'm charlotte dobre and if this is your first time here, hit that thumbs up, subscribe

and notification bell.

The world is still shocked by the story of John Allen Chau, the American missionary who

was killed by the tribe on North Sentinel Island.

The Sentinelese are one of the last, if not the last pre Neolithic tribes on earth.

They live on North Sentinel Island, the most isolated island on earth, and they have done

so for tens of thousands of years.

We don't know a lot about them but its believed that they migrated to north sentinel from

Africa around 50 thousand years ago.

The island is not only isolated because it's illegal to go within 3 nautical miles of the

island, its also because the Sentinelese do not want anything to do with the modern world,

and they will kill anyone who sets foot on their island.

When John Allen Chau heard about the tribe, he made hit his mission to try to live among

them, and to convert the tribe to Christianity.

He was convinced that he would be able to win the tribe over, and he tried to go there.

It was the 3rd time John Allen Chau had visited the island.

The last time, an arrow narrowly missed him, and hit the bible he was holding in his hand.

He took this as a sign and returned to the island, once again.

Unfortunately, on November 17th, john allen chau was killed by a bow and arrow shot by

one of the tribespeople on North Sentinel Island.

According to local fisherman, they put a rope around his neck, dragged his body, and buried

him in the sand.

One thing we did not cover in our previous video, is that john allen chau did not act

alone.

He was sent by an organization called All Nations.

It's a Missouri based group that supported him in his quote, lifes calling, instead of

preventing him from going on this suicide mission.

Its still uncertain where the John Allen Chau's body is.

With the help of fisherman who witnessed what happened to john, they have mapped the area.

They have conducted an aeriel survey and two boat visits.

They have a general idea of where his body could be, but they need access to the beach,

and time, in order to get to it.

Police approached the island on Saturday, and their boat was around 400 meters off shore.

They used binoculars to look at the shoreline, but they ended up having to retreat because

they saw the Sentinelese lining up with bows and arrows.

Back in 2006, the sentinelese killed two indian crab fisherman who washed up on the shore

of the island.

A week later, they dug up the bodies and hung them on bamboo poles facing the ocean.

This is a clear message, it means, stay the hell away or you will end up like these guys.

The bodies of these fisherman were never retrieved, and their deaths were never investigated.

Not only has john allen chau's mission put him in danger, it now seems that the people

trying to retrieve his body are also in danger, and the tribe themselves.

According to Anthropologists, attempts to remove the body pose an existential threat

to the endangered tribe that killed him.

Many experts say that authorities shouldn't bother retrieving the body.

After all, he made illegal visits to the island.

In his diary, john allen chau specifically wrote 'please do not be angry at them or

at god If I get killed.

He also wrote, don't retrieve my body.

And going to the island to retrieve the body is also violating the tribes wish to be left

alone.

Authorities have no way of communicating with this tribe.

They cant tell them that all we want is to remove the body.

We don't know their language, their history or their culture.

They are also extremely vulnerable to outside disease.

What do you think guys, should john allen chau's body be recovered?

Let me know in those comments.

But on behalf of IO, our hearts go out to John Allen Chau's family and friends during

this difficult time.

For now I'm going to respond to some comments from our last video on this story.

Sweetkiwi - #introvert problems.

I mean, when I'm being an introvert I also feel like I want to shoot people with arrows

so I get it.

Jim Paul Adams – I'm not sure if this was the same island but the same thing happened

to other missionaries back in the 1960's or 70s.

I think it probably was the same island.

Missionaries have gone to north sentinel before and the tribe has resisted conversion.

Christian Silva – I'm going to go there and drop hundreds of pizzas from a plane because

I don't think the tribe has ever experienced happiness.

I mean pizza does not always equal happiness but I see your point.

Levar hollis – just found this channel…awesome…love your raspy voice too.

It is not always raspy but welcome to IO. Brett West – You are my favourite youtuber

I get all my news from you thanks.

You are WELCOME.

Welcome to the end screen, thanks so much for watching one of our videos, if you wanna

keep watching, check out this playlist, and don't forget to subscribe and turn on notifications

so I can see you in a future Io video.
