Bill Odom:
I'm Bill Odom.
I've always been very active, I've had a friend of mine tell me one time, he says, "you're
nothing but a serial entrepreneur," and it's true.
There was always something in the works for me.
I just couldn't get my breath, was just gasping.
Kind of felt like a fish out of water, it's just they take those gulps, but they're not
getting anything for themselves.
I was having trouble walking up the stairs.
When I saw the x-rays of my lungs, my knees buckled.
I thought, "oh my god I"m going to die."
My doctor said it was an interstitial lung disease.
I didn't know what to do so I started researching it.
I kept seeing this one word, idiopathic
If I only have one leg, I can either sit in a chair or I can figure out how to walk with
one leg.
After I got over feeling sorry for myself, I told my pulmonologist, "I'm going to National
Jewish Health."
Dr. Evans Fernandez Perez:
Here at National Jewish, we have a vast experience in diagnosing and treating patients with interstitial
lung diseases and we have been doing this for many years and we're good at it.
We see thousands of those patients.
Bill Odom:
When Dr. Fernandez came in he looked at my hands.
I thought, "what do my hands have to do with my breathing?"
Dr. Evans Fernandez Perez:
Looking at the hands, he had what is called mechanic's hands so I knew right away that
this was not IPF.
Then we tested his blood and found his immune system was attacking his lungs and his hands.
Bill Odom:
He looked at me and said, "It's treatable," and that I can expect to live a long, active
life.
Thank goodness I was fortunate enough to know where to go and that was National Jewish Health.
And thank goodness National Jewish Health was smart enough to know to pair me with Dr.
Fernandez.
He saved my life.
So scared.
I cane to National Jewish two years ago and I thought it was another nail in the coffin.
Well you know what?
We ran that coffin through the wood chipper.
Coffin is gone.
It's history and we're on to the next chapter in our life.
When we go home from National Jewish Health to decided to start by building a new home.
It's going to be fantastic.

Devin Booker Wants To Join A SUPER TEAM!! Jimmer Fredette Coming Back To The NBA! - Duration: 4:37.
Hey, what's going on guys Gio here subbing in on sports crave
Now if you guys haven't heard my voice before this because I'm new to the NBA channel
My name is Gio and I will be subbing in and doing weekly sports videos like updates and the NBA news and stuff like that
Niko will also be uploading on the sports channel as well doing like highlights and lets videos and stuff like that for you guys to enjoy
Such as more videos all around. I'll be uploading everyday NBA news for you guys. Anyways, though first off we have Jimmer Fredette
He hasn't knew who Jimmer Fredette is I don't know where you guys have been but Jimmer Fredette was once in the NBA he was
Tearing it up in college basketball. I mean he averaged 20 points a game which obviously is really good for his college days
He gets in the NBA and he absolutely like sucked
I mean he wasn't terrible but he's only averaging 6 points in the NBA.
Which the only averaging six points is a pouring card shooting guard. You definitely get comfort new team
He ended up getting cut and went to China and after you got to China, obviously he started playing again
Like really well he had a game in China
We got 75 points off a 34 shots
He if you guys don't understand how good that is Kobe dropped 81 points off around like 61 shots is absolutely insane
Jimmer Fredette did half of that do further almost half of that and got 75 points
He's absolutely on his a game at the end
I said he's better than Kobe
But he definitely is tearing it up right now in China basketball
and he has he came out today in a news article and said that he has unfinished business in the NBA and this time he
will succeed
Saying that he wants to come back and he wants an opportunity to be in the NBA
And he will not take it for granted this time
They'll work as hard as to make an impact on the team and help them win
So come below any NBA teams
You guys can see them on next season maybe the Cavaliers they can definitely use a shooting guard on the team just because Ronny hoods
inconsistent
They're getting rid of JR Smith and obviously him
Context and usually have a lot of firing power if he does obviously do well in the NBA
Maybe he can be well on like the 76ers because they do need a lot of shooters around them
Maybe the Lakers as well cuz they definitely need shoot it as well
he definitely has a good fit in a lot of teams and I can definitely see him getting picked up because he's only
29 years old
so next Devin Booker actually came out today and said that he wants to be on a
Super team, whether it's the team comes to him or he has to go to them. So he says in the future
He said I like to be on a super team that comes to me obviously
Considering that he is next you're gonna get a supermax
contract from the sons and he'll be stupid enough to pass that I've considered to be like 21 or 23 years old and
obviously
He's be a little eligible for the Supermax which is like two hundred and twenty five million dollars somewhere on that's crazy amount of numbers
He's definitely a star he averaged about 25 points a game and seven assists
The sons will be crazy enough to let him go next summer
So they're definitely to try to push from some free agents this summer
Try to make the team a title contender here in the next year or next two years from now
These is definitely a team to look for not this year because obviously they're just going for a lottery pick this year
But they're definitely a great team to look for in the near future
So finally we have Mark Hill folks marquel folds the guy with the broken jumper whether it's actually his shoulder messing with him
Or maybe it's just some mentality messing with him as well
the Sixers had enough of his problems and said they want to dump marquel folds and
Obviously a lot of teams have said their good luck with that saying they're not willing to pick him up
All they want in exchange for marquel fold is a first-round draft pick whether it's the last like the 14th and 15th pick
They're not looking for anything crazy for him. But yet again, they're saying good luck with it
You're not going to get anything from us and obviously the Sixers in her tough spot right now
Considering Mark Hill wants to leave Marko is not shooting the ball
Well, and obviously it's just the whole bass equation considering that he's a first-round pick
he was supposed to be like the
Projected rookie of the year and had a terrible year last season having a terrible year this season
Supposedly his jumpers supposed to get fixed, but honestly, I think it's a mental issue for marquel
And yeah, so we'll just have to see what happens
Hopefully like a team maybe like the Cavaliers can pick them up and try to fix him
He is going to a shorter specialist
But the lot of teams could use him but I don't think the Cavaliers are willing to give up a first-round pick
Considering they want to get as ion this summer or like Raj or maybe even camreta. Sure
They're definitely not gonna be willing to give that up exchange for marquel Fulks. So yeah
Anyways, Kampala any teams you can see him on also makes you guys subscribe to the channel and stay up today
And obviously if you guys did enjoy this video drop a like on it and subscribe to the channel if you guys are new
Look forward to seeing me tomorrow in another video. But with that being said guys I'm out for watching the video

Why Not to Fart in a Smart Car - Duration: 5:36.
Rev up your engines, some guys says scotty how dangerous is it
to fart in a smart car, well it depends their so small usually there's only one person in
it so you don't care, they always say a man doesn't mind the smell of his own farts so,
you're not really going to care but if there's somebody else in the car with you their not
gonna like it because they are very tiny inside and you might want to watch my video, why
it's dumb to buy a smart car in the US it's kind of a dumb thing to do,
in Europe where they have tiny little parking spaces and they don't drive that much their
ok and they sold a few of them there but the last year they sold smart cars in the US I
think they sold like 1,600 of them, nobody wants to buy them here anymore, their just
too small, I drove around in one once when I was working on it, and I took it on the
highway because he was having a shaking problem at highway speeds, boy when those big 18 wheelers
went buy it scared the heck out of me, I wouldn't want to drive one of those things around on
the highway I'll tell you that, archer says is it safe to drive with a bent
frame, pretty good question, of course it depends on how bent is the frame,
I actually had a customer years ago, it was the funniest thing I've ever seen, he had
a big toyota 4runner, it was white it looked like an iceberg, and he had been t boned and
the entire vehicle was bent in and he got like 80 lbs of bondo, I'm not kidding, and
he covered up the big cracked parts but you could still tell the thing was almost bent
in half, but it wasn't bent enough to make the wheels
track wrong, so it still went straight down the road even though you were driving a 4runner
that looks like somebody bent it in half, the tire were still going straight so if you
find it still tracks good down the road and the frame doesn't have a thing where the frame
is actually cracked and it looks like it's going to split wide open, but most vehicles
these days have a unibody anyways so the whole vehicle is basically the frame,
if the tires still track good forwards, you can often drive them a long time, like I said
that guy was still driving that thing 5 years later, it was an embarrassment to look at
but it still worked, shawn says scotty what are your thoughts on
a 1991 mx5, are they good cars, thank you and god bless America,
those were fun little cars for driving around, you have to make sure if you're going to buy
one that it's a manual transmission, because the automatic transmissions were garbage,
they cost a fortune to fix and they had no power, but the manual transmissions were very
fun cars to drive around in, they didn't have hardly any problems at all,
if you find a good one, it's a 91, hey I've seen people buy those things for $1,500-$2,000
and drive them for years and years, their pretty solid built little cars, their not
real fast but their fun to drive around in, and for a little rag top, you have the convertible
top down and throw the top up when it's raining, their decent cars, especially if you got the
hard top option if somebody still has it where you can put the hard top on in the winter,
because the soft tops are kind of crappy when it's snow and ice and stuff,
claret says I got an 03 lexus es 300 when I use heating or cooling the flaps adjusting
the cold and hot get confused and make noise is this a faulty temperature sensor how can
I fix it, if they make a little bit of noise and it
stops, live with it, because that's a 16 year old lexus, their well built cars theirs no
arguing that, their really well made, the main problem is, as they age they can
be very complex to fix when stuff like that breaks, the only way anybody can even work
on that thing, they have to have a dealer level scan tool to look at the HVAC system
it stands for heating ventilation and air conditioning, it's all tied in together and
it's all run by computers, so if you get a little wacky noises but then they go away,
my advice is live with it, and I found that in my own customers cars with those, a lot
of time if you have it on a low speed, low blower speed, you'll hear noises but if you
put it on the higher speed you won't, so just run the fan faster and a lot of times
you won't hear the noise anymore, that's what I do in my wife's, we got a 2002 lexus es
300 and it works perfectly fine, but if you have it in that low fan speed a lot of time
you'll hear little noises so just turn it up higher so you won't hear them,
heir says I got a 2011 pathfinder, it won't start when the temperature gets cold, cranks
like crazy but it won't fire, hook up a jumper it starts right up any idea,
ok first just replace the battery, as nutty as it sounds, once in a while a weak battery
will do exactly that, it will crank the engine but it won't start it,
now that's not a common problem but I've seen that 6 or 7 times in my life of working on
cars for 51 years, I had customers that the engine would crank but it wouldn't start and
when I jumped it, it started right up, modern cars need a lot of power to run the ignition
system, the fuel system, the anti theft system, and to crank the engine,
and if you're just jumping it and it starts right up, first thing I'd say just replace
your battery, 99% of the time that will fix it, now if it's not that then you got a wiring
problem, something is wrong with your battery terminals
feeding power out and it's not getting right and you put clamps on the top of them the
power feeds then you'r need new battery terminals to fix it, but most of the time it's actually
a bad battery, so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair videos, remember
to ring that bell!

US Navy did not adopt the technology until the 1960s the principles of their
work are incorporated into Bluetooth technology and are similar to methods
used in legacy versions of CDMA and Wi-Fi this work led to their induction

Austrian military arms merchant and munitions manufacturer who was reputedly
the third richest man in Austria she fell for his charming and fascinating
personality partly due to his immense financial wealth her parents both of
Jewish descent did not approve due to mandals ties to Italian fascist leader
Benito Mussolini and later German Fuhrer Adolf Hitler but they could not stop the
headstrong Lamar on August 10th 1933 Lamar married Mandal she was eighteen
years old and he was 33 in her autobiography ecstasy and me she
described Mandel as an extremely controlling husband who strongly
objected to her simulated orgasm scene in ecstasy and prevented her from
pursuing her acting career she claimed she was kept a virtue
prisoner in their castle home sloth Schwartz are now citation needed mando
had closed social and business ties to the Italian government selling munitions
to the country 11 and although like Harry his own father was Jewish had ties
to the Nazi regime of Germany as well Lamar oh that the dictators of both
countries attended lavish parties of the Mandel home
Lamar accompanied Mandel to business meetings where he conferred with
scientists and other professionals involved in military technology these
conferences were her introduction to the field of Applied Science and nurtured
her latent talent in science Lamar's marriage to Mandel eventually
became unbearable and she decided to separate herself from both her husband
and country in her autobiography she wrote that she disguised herself as her
maid and fled to Paris but by other accounts she persuaded Mandel to let her
wear all of her jewelry for a dinner party then disappeared afterward
Louie B Meyer and MJ after arriving in London in 1937 she met Louie B Meyer
head of em's who was scouting for talent in Europe she initially turned down the
offer he made her of one hundred and twenty-five dollars a week but then
booked herself onto the same New York bound liner as him and managed to
impress him enough to secure a $500 a week contract Meyer persuaded her to
change her name to Hedy Lamarr to distance herself from her real identity
and the ecstasy lady reputation associated with it 23 choosing the
surname in homage to the beautiful silent film star barbara lama on the
suggestion of his wife who admired Lamar he brought her to Hollywood in 1938 and
began promoting her as the world's most beautiful woman my alone Lamar to
producer Walter Wanger who was making Algiers 1938 an American
version of the French film Pepe Le moko 1937 Lamar was cast in the lead opposite
Charles Boyer the film created a national sensation says Shira she was
billed as an unknown but well publicized Austrian actress which created
anticipation in audiences Maya hoped she would become another Greta Garbo or

screen everyone gasped Lamar's Beauty literally took one's breath away in
future Hollywood films she was invariably typecast as the
archetypal glamorous seductress of exotic origin her second american film

Pidgeon it was a huge hit white cargo contains arguably her most memorable
film quote delivered with provocative invitation
I am don delaio I make Tiffin for you this line typifies many of Lamar's roles
which emphasized her beauty and sensuality while giving her relatively
few lines the lack of acting challenges bored Lamar she reportedly took up
inventing to relieve her boredom she was reunited with Powell in a comedy the
heavenly body 1944 then was borrowed by Warner Brothers for the conspirators
1944 this was an attempt to repeat the success of Casablanca 1943 and RKO
Bharata for a melodrama experiment perilous 1944 black attempt malamar was
teamed with Robert Walker in the romantic comedy Her Highness and the
bellboy 1945 playing a princess who falls in love with a New Yorker it was
very popular but would be the last film she made under her engine contract her
off screen life and personality during those years was quite different
from her screen image she spent much of her time feeling lonely and homesick
she might swim at her agents pool but shunned the beaches and staring crowds
when asked for an autograph she wondered why anyone would want it
right - Howard sharp interviewed her and gave his impression Eddie has the most
incredible personal sophistication she knows the peculiarly European art of
being womanly she knows what men want in a beautiful woman what attracts them and
she forces herself to be these things she has magnetism with warmth something
that neither Dietrich nor Garbo has managed to achieve author Richard Rhodes
describes her assimilation into American culture of all the European Emma Gray's
who escaped Nazi Germany and Nazi Austria she was one of the very few who
succeeded in moving to another culture and becoming a full-fledged star herself
there were so very few who could make the transition linguistically or
culturally she really was a resourceful human being I think because of her
father's strong influence on her as a child
wartime fundraiser Lamarr wanted to join the National Inventors Council but was
reportedly told by Nick member Charles F Kettering and others that she could
better help the war effort by using her celebrity status to sell war bonds she
participated in a war bond selling campaign with a sailor named Eddie
Rhodes Rhodes was in the crowd at each Lamar appearance and she would call him
up on stage she would briefly flirt with him before asking the audience if she
should give him a kiss the crowd would say yes to which Hedy would reply that
she would if enough people bought war bonds after enough bonds were purchased
she would kiss Rhodes and he would head back into the audience then they would
head off to the next war bond rally later films Lamarr enjoyed her biggest
success playing Delilah against Victor Mature as the biblical strongmen in
Cecil B DeMille of Samson and Delilah the highest-grossing film of 1949 the
film also won two Oscars nineteen lamar returned to MGM for a film noir
with jang-ho diac a lady without passport 1950 which flocked more popular
were two pictures she made at Paramount a Western with Ray Milland Copper Canyon
1950 and a Bob Hope spy spoof my favorite spy 1951 with John ho D a keen
a lady without passport 1950 her career went into decline she went to Italy to
play multiple roles in lots of three Queens 1954 which she also produced
however she lacked the experience necessary to make a success of such an
epic production and lost millions of dollars when she was unable to secure
distribution of the picture she was Joan of Arc in irwin allen's critically
panned epic the story of mankind 1957 and did episodes of Zane Grey theater a
proud woman and shower of stars cloak and dagger her last film was a thrill of
the female animal 1958
although Lamar had no formal training and was primarily self-taught
she worked in her spare time on various hobbies and inventions which included an
improved traffic stoplight and a tablet that would dissolve in water to create a
carbonated drink the beverage was unsuccessful Lamarr herself said it
tasted like alka-seltzer among the few who knew of Lamar's inventiveness was
aviation tycoon Howard Hughes she suggested he changed the rather square
design of his aeroplanes which she thought looked too slow
to a more streamlined shape based on pictures of the fastest birds and fish
she could find Lamarr discussed her relationship with Hughes during an
interview saying that while they dated he actively supported her tinkering
hobbies he put his team of science engineers at her disposal saying they
would do all make anything she asked for during World War two Lamarr learned that
radio-controlled torpedos an emerging technology in naval war could easily be
jammed and set off course she thought of creating a frequency hopping signal that
could not be tracked or jammed she contacted her friend composer and
pianist George Ann tile to help her develop a device for doing that and he
succeeded by synchronizing a miniaturized player piano mechanism with
radio signals they drafted designs for the frequency hopping system which they
patented and Heil recalled we began talking about the war which in the late
summer of 1940 was looking most extremely black Perry said that she did
not feel very comfortable sitting there in Hollywood and making lots of money
when things were in such a state she said that she knew a good deal about
munitions and various secret weapons and that she was thinking seriously of
quitting and going to Washington DC to offer her services to the newly
established inventors council their invention was granted a patent under US
patent two million two hundred and ninety two thousand three hundred and
eighty-seven on August 11th 1942 filed using her married name Hedy Keyes Lamarr
key however it was technologically difficult to him
element and at that time the US Navy was not receptive to considering inventions
coming from outside the military got in 1962 at the time of the Cuban Missile
Crisis an updated version of their design at last appeared on Navy ships in
1997 Lamar and anti received the Electronic Frontier Foundation Pioneer
Award and the bowel begin a spirit of achievement bronze award given to
individuals whose creative lifetime achievements in the arts sciences
business or invention fields have significantly contributed to society
Lamar was featured on the Science Channel and the Discovery Channel in
2014 Lamar and anti were posthumously inducted into the National Inventors
Hall of Fame Lamarr became a naturalized citizen of the United States at age 38
on April 10 1953 her autobiography ecstasy and me was published in 1966
although she said on TV that it was not written by her and much of it was
fictional Lamar later suit the publisher saying that many details were fabricated
by its ghostwriter Leo Guild Lamar in turn was sued by Jean Ringgold who
asserted that the book plagiarized material from an article he had written
in 1965 for screen facts magazine in 1966 Lamar was arrested in Los Angeles
for shoplifting the charges were eventually dropped in 1991 she was
arrested on the same charge in Florida this time for stealing twenty one
dollars and forty eight cents worth of laxatives and eyedrops
she pleaded no contest to avoid a court appearance and the charges were dropped
in return for her promise to refrain from breaking any laws for a year the
shoplifting charges coincided with a failed attempt to return to the screen
the 1970s were a decade of increasing seclusion for Lamar she was offered
several scripts television commercials and staged projects but none piqued her
interest in 1974 she filed a ten million dollar lawsuit against Warren
others claiming that the running parody of her name Hedley Lamarr in the Mel
Brooks comedy Blazing Saddles infringed her right to privacy Brooks said he was
flattered the studio settled out of court for an undisclosed nominal
summoned an apology to Lamar for almost using her name Brooks said that Lamar
never got the joke with her eyesight failing Lamar retreated from public life
and settled in Miami Beach Florida in 1981 a large choral drawn image of Lamar
won coral draws yearly software suite cover design contest in 1996 for several
years beginning in 1997 it was featured on boxes of the software Suites Lamar
sued the company for using her image without her permission coral countered
that she did not own rights to the image the parties reached an undisclosed
settlement in 1998 for her contribution to the motion picture industry Lamar has
a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6247 Hollywood Boulevard adjacent to
vine streets where the walk is centered in her later years Lamarr turned to
plastic surgery to preserve the looks she was terrified of losing but the
results were disastrous she had her breasts enlarged her cheeks raised her
lips made bigger and much much more said her son Anthony she had plastic
surgery thinking it could revive her looks and her career but it backfired
and distorted her beauty Antony Lodha claimed that Lamarr was
addicted to pills Lamarr became estranged from her other son James Lamar
Lauder when he was 12 years old their
relationship ended abruptly and he moved in with another family they did not
speak again for almost 50 years Lamar left James loader out of her will
and he sued for control of the 3.3 million u.s. dollars estate left by
Lamar in 2000 . he eventually settled for fifty thousand US dollars in the
last decades of her life the telephone became Lamar's only means of
communication with the outside world even with her children and clothes
friends she often talked up to six or seven hours a day on the phone but she
spent hardly any time with anyone in person in her final years a documentary
calling Hedy Lamarr was released in 2004 and featured her children Antony Lowe
there and Deniz Lauder DeLuca Lamarr died in Casselberry Florida on January
19 2000 of heart disease aged 85 her son Anthony Lauder spread her ashes in
Austria's Vienna Woods in accordance with her last wishes Lamar was given an
honorary grave in Vienna's Central Cemetery in 2014 in 1939 Lamar was
selected the most promising new actress of 1938 in a poll of area voters
conducted by Philadelphia record film critic British moviegoers voted Hedy
Lamarr the year's 10th best actress for her performance in Samson and Delilah in
1951 in 1997 Lamarr and George ant eyewear jointly honored with the
Electronic Frontier Foundation's Pioneer Award and Lamar also was the first woman
to receive the invention conventions pal began oz spirit of achievement award
known as the Oscars of inventing in 2014 Lamarr was posthumously inducted into
the National Inventors Hall of Fame for frequency hopping spread spectrum

NEVER do these 3 Exercises if You're OVER 40 - Duration: 6:03.
Hey, hey, hey, everybody.
What is up?
Shaun Hadsall here, co-founder of online weight loss community
Get Lean in 12.
Stubborn fat expert for people in their 40s, 50s, or 60s.
I am down here on Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, Florida,
filming this video.
Hopefully, the wind doesn't bother you.
If you're in your 40s, 50s, or 60s,
you want to reactivate declining hormones
and quickly lose more stubborn fat in only 12 minutes a day,
five days a week, just one hour per week,
stop by, drop a comment below, say hello,
let us know where you're from, and pay close attention.
Because inside this video, I want
to talk about three risky exercises that people over 40
must avoid if they want to quickly lose stubborn fat.
And then I'm also going to talk about a 12-minute protocol
that I've coined metabolic zone training that's strategically
designed to help people over 35 years old, in their 40s, 50s,
and 60s, increase growth hormone production 400% to 700%,
and increase metabolic rate after one 12-minute session
for up to 38 to 48 hours afterwards.
Now I have substantiated research
backing up these claims.
But first, let's talk about the three risky exercises
that you must avoid if you're in your 40s, 50s, or 60s
and you want to quickly lose stubborn fat.
The first one is sit-ups or crunches.
I mean, I go to the gym five, six days of the week,
and I walk in and I see people in their 40s,
50s, or 60s crunching away on those little machines,
thinking that they're going to get rid of belly fat.
When reality is is that you're just
working a muscle underneath the fat that you need to burn off.
In other words, it's not going to help
you lose more belly fat.
Yes, it might strengthen your core a little bit,
but sit-ups and crunches can even be dangerous.
Because number one, when you do a sit-up,
you're mostly working your hip flexors anyway, not your abs.
And when you do crunches, you're putting your spine at damage.
Dr. Stuart McGill, as one of the world's
top renowned back experts.
And he talks about how repeated flexion
of the spine from crunches and sit-ups
is one of the leading causes of herniated disk.
So instead of doing crunches or sit-ups,
replace it with my 12-minute metabolic zone training
protocol that I'll share with you at the end of this video.
Number two exercise that people over 40
should avoid if they want to quickly lose stubborn fat is
too much cardio.
So somewhere on this video, you're
going to see a link to click or tap
where you're going to learn about four different studies
showing that excessive amounts of cardio
can do more harm than good when it
comes to losing fat if you're in your 40s, 50s, or 60s.
The first study shows that too much cardio
suppresses T4 to T3 conversion.
This is your thyroid.
It's considered the master gland that regulates the metabolism.
So T4 to T3 conversion is suppressed,
and this can quickly create weight loss plateaus
if you do too much cardio.
The second thing too much cardio does
is it releases free radicals.
Now free radicals are linked to aging the body faster
and can lead to many of today's modern health challenges.
The third study shows that it can increase your hunger
levels.
So research shows that people who do too much cardio actually
eat 100 more calories afterwards than they just burned off,
making it impossible to lose fat because you're not keeping
your body in a calorie deficit.
Now the third study shows--
or the fourth study shows that too much cardio--
and this is especially prevalent among marathon runners
and triathletes--
can scar your heart.
And the last thing you want to do
is increase your risk of heart attacks.
So instead of using too much cardio--
and moderate amounts of cardio, walking and doing
moderate amounts of cardio is not bad--
but cardio is not the answer.
What you need to do is you need to use specific movement
patterns, specific intensity levels, and specific rest
periods that are designed for your current hormonal
condition.
So somewhere on this video, you're
going to see a link to click or tap
where you're going to go learn about my system called
The Over 40 Ab Solution.
And the backbone is my 12-minute metabolic zone training
protocols.
Now I invented this several years ago
when my 58-year-old wife, Karen, was diagnosed
with colorectal cancer, and it forced her
into early menopause.
And she accumulated a ton of upper belly fat.
And no matter how hard she tried, she could not lose it.
We tried everything.
We tried excessive cardio.
We tried low carb diets.
We even tried hormones.
We were so desperate to try to get her to lose weight.
So I start digging into the science,
being a fitness expert for the last 20 years
and a bestselling author.
I was determined to find an answer for my wife.
So I went back to the 12-minute metabolic protocol
that I used way back in 1998 when
I placed first runner up grand champion
in the world's largest body transformation
contest, called Body for Life.
I used this 12-minute metabolic protocol
at the end of this 12 week contest
to get rid of my last 10 pounds of stubborn fat.
Now since that time, I've been using
it to maintain six-pack abs for over 10 years,
and you'll see picture proof of that over at our web site.
But I thought, what do I have to lose?
Let's try this on Karen.
So obviously, we had her nutrition in line.
But we gave her these 12-minute metabolic protocols.
She lost 22 pounds in 10 weeks.
And you can read about her inspiring story
over at our website, where you'll also
learn about our hormone optimization diet.
You'll get a manual that tells you how to get your exercise,
these 12-minute metabolic zone training protocols,
working in synergy with your diet to quickly lose
more stubborn fat.
So thanks for taking time out of your busy day
to check this out.
Hopefully you got something out of this video.
If you did, share the love down here in Naples, Florida.
Give me some likes, give me some hearts,
drop a comment below, if you have questions.
Thanks for taking five minutes out of your busy day
to check out this video.
I know time is our most precious commodity.
So I'm very grateful you took the time to watch this.
Keep going strong.

Why Might I Need a Lawyer if I'm already receiving workers compensation? - Duration: 1:45.
Let's say someone comes in and they're getting all their benefits and why do they need me?
Well, how do they know when there's a benefit they should get and they're not getting it
because they're certainly not going to be told by the insurance companies.
So I've seen people who were entitled to be paid a permanent disability rating when they
went back to work, and they never get it.
No one tells them and if time passes their right to it is lost because of, you know,
not having received any check for a period of time.
Well, then you're never entitled to any more checks ever even if you were entitled back
here.
So people don't know what they're entitled to.
Another thing they don't know about is that they're entitled to receive mileage to and
from wherever they have to drive to go for their medical care they're supposed to keep
up with their miles and submit them and the employer is supposed to pay the cost of that
mileage and (which you know) considers wear and tear on their vehicle which you know it's
only fair, but people don't know.
They don't pay it.
A lot of insurers don't pay it unless they're forced to.
People at times can get services at their homes such as someone to come and do home
repairs or someone to cut the grass or someone to come do housekeeping.
Let's say they live alone and they're badly hurt, they'll need lawyer.
They're not going to get it because they won't know to ask.
