Parents of Utah student kiled by her ex speak out against the college - Duration: 4:59.The parents of a University of Utah student who was killed by her criminal ex-boyfriend after having her dozens of calls to police ignored have spoken out to slam the college's claims that her death was unpreventable
Lauren McCluskey, 21, was shot dead in October by her ex-boyfriend, Melvin Brown, in a parking lot
She had reported Brown to the police for extorting her with revenge porn after they broke up
Lauren was on the phone to her parents when he grabbed her and dragged her into a car to kill her
Brown, a registered sex offender who was on parole at the time, shot himself afterwards
The university conducted an investigation but its president initially said Lauren's death could not have been prevented
It has since admitted there were 'deficiencies' on its part which contributed to the student's killing
Now, Lauren's grieving parents Matt and Jill are speaking out in the hope that no other young woman's calls for help go ignored
In an interview with Good Morning America on Friday morning, they described the horror of listening as Rowland grabbed Lauren and calling 911 immediately
'I was on the phone with her.she was coming home from class. All of a sudden, she yells, "No, no, no!"' 'And then the line was still open
And then Matt called 9-1-1.I .I yelled to him and he called 9-1-1,' Jill said. She said that in the weeks beforehand, Lauren had told her she felt like she was 'bothering' the local and campus police with her complaints about Brown
He was attempting to extort her and blackmail her with revenge porn.Jill, who has records of all the times her daughter called the police about him, said she encouraged her to keep pursuing it
'She said, "It feels like I'm bothering them," because she called .she was calling so much
'I remember telling her, "It's their job to listen to you." 'They weren't taking her seriously
For one officer, there were 22 calls back and forth and none of them are recorded, because it's on the cell phone
' Lauren's father believes that if the university had performed a background check on Brown, who was also a student, his daughter's death would not have happened
'They seemed to show no curiosity about his person who had lied about his age, his name, his
he was a sex offender.'And then they found out that he's also a felon. They should've investigated
'They would've very quickly found his parole status in one call and it would .we wouldn't be sitting here today,' he said
The university said it had identified 'areas of deficiency in the university's systems and processes and made 30 recommendations for ways to improve them
'The university is acting immediately to correct the deficiencies identified in the report,' it added in a statement

i suggest not to drink at night
because it contains caffeine
if i drink it quite late at night i won't be able to sleep
because i'm very caffeine-sensitive
but
i drink it after my lunch and dinner
which is around 3-4 pm
so at night i'm still able to sleep
and i don't feel hungry at all
and my hair doesn't fall out
because if i do diets, in a few more days
my hair will usually fall off quite alot
especially after i wash my hair
but this time, my hair doesn't fall off that much
just a little bit
and my skin got more fair
because usually if my period is near
i usually have quite a lot of acne
because it's near PMS

TOXISK MASKULINITET: Vad Gillette säger om samtiden - Duration: 19:57.Hi, I'm Henrik Jönsson,
and I love commercials.
Advertising is a distillate of our zeitgeist,
a summary of the state of market forces
and an expression that combines growth, ingenuity
and what Nietzsche once called "the will to power":
progress, ambition, and self-realization.
Last week, razor blade manufacturer Gillette launched
a commercial with ideological roots in the #MeToo movement:
a viral campaign against sexual harassment of women.
The film has been polarizing, and has provoked strong reactions
both for and against its ideological message.
With that as a springboard, I'd like to discuss social engineering,
what this film really says about our times
and what the social consequences of its narrative are for society at large.

so you'll get a notification whenever I release a new video,
which I do as clockwork every Saturday morning at 0800.
Today we'll talk about toxicity, lies and videotapes.
Stay tuned!
TOXIC MASCULINITY
In 1901, the American businessman with the stately name
"King Camp Gillette"
got a patent on what was to be called "the disposable razor blade."
Gillette revolutionized the razor industry,
establishing a business model where the razor was sold cheaply,
and razor blades instead constituted a ceaselessly running revenue stream.
This was a genius move that in a couple of decades made Gillette
one of the world's foremost hygiene companies valued at over 40 billion dollars.
The Gillette trademark in itself was valued at $16 billion
when they in 2005 were purchased by consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble.
Procter & Gamble, or P&G, works with the New York company Grey to develop Gillette's ad campaigns,
and business has been bad.
Gillette's market share has fallen from 70% 2008 to approximately 50% 2018.
In connection with the 30th anniversary of the company's iconic slogan
"The Best a man can Get"
P&G wanted to get a firm hold on the brand by renewal,
and retained the London-based commercial director Kim Gehrig.
Gehrig was previously best known for her visually outspoken film "Viva La Vulva"
To re-brand Gillette, Gehrig created an ad that
that takes a stand against what some groups call
"Toxic masculinity."
To understand the position Gillette has assumed through its new commercial,
you're required to have a basic understanding of the conceptual world of modern gender studies.
"Patriarchy" is a term describing
the idea of the different genders relative power globally
whereby men unduly assumed a superior position to women
through social, economic, political and cultural oppression.
Within gender studies, this "toxic masculinity" is considered
to be learned destructive patterns of behaviour,
and is derived from the patriarchal power hegemony expressed by
violence, sexual aggression and emotional absence.
One could liken it to a gender-dependent variant
off the Biblical Concept of "Original sin,"
i.e. the notion that the man by virtue of his ancestors' actions
been inflicted with moral shortcomings that impose on him
guilt and requirements of repentance and forgiveness.
This is the key message of the ad:
to break what is considered patriarchal behaviour
by a new type of man entering as a moral representative
who prevents the expression of this "toxic masculinity."
They no longer stand for the materialistic ownership ambition of "The best a man can get"
but the moral responsibility of "The best men can be."
Duty trumps coveting.
The overture of the ad starts off by presenting the structure of the problem:
Bullying. The #MeToo movement. Toxic Masculinity!
Is this the best a man can get?
This leading question is answered with the illustration of its alleged consequence,
a horde of feral boys who with unchecked ferocity tear down
the walls of society itself and poison the atmosphere around
the fragile, weak and exposed with a tornado of cyber bullying.
The media has degenerated!
An Al Bundy stand-in is groping his racified housekeeper,
and a nudity celebrating Mardi gras partying corrupts
the tabula rasa of the innocent
who apathetically degenerate in the cushy couch of the middle classes.
and as unwitting victims get their delicate pages scribbled
with the pernicious heresies of toxic masculinity.
An executive douche in the boardroom belittles the lonely and isolated the woman
with inappropriate micro-aggressive touching
and arbitrarily denigrating mansplaining.
"Boys will be boys" drones an endless forest of barbequing imbeciles,
irresponsibly lined up as unthinking butchers of both
the climate marring meat that has turned themselves fat, foul, feeble and frail
and the young boys whose upbringing they neglect with an passive arrogance.
A video wall of abuse and hatred washes over us
as a patriarchal tsunami of evil.
There is no turning back.
For Gillette believe in the good of Man.
Men who forcibly stop
their psychotic bro-buddies without impulse control,
who otherwise roam freely harassing every woman they see wearing white hotpants.
And there are already some men who intervene.
But some is not enough.
Stop, stop, stop!
Here the narrative really derails completely.
So Gillette claims there are SOME men
that forcibly prevent their thousandfold douchey brethren
from realizing an unfettered inferno without end of sexual assaults?
Let me be the first to admit that
Mankind faces several significant challenges,
but what REALLY makes me concerned is
when capitalism suddenly exhibits behavior of pure self-harm
to their own target group.
Gillette sells razors. Mainly to men.
And think it reasonable to demean this whole target group
as brutalized boors without impulse control,
a breath from invoking a descent of our civilization into a burning
Eyes Wide Shut version of Lord of the Flies.
And with the purpose of recovering market shares.
From the men they've just collectively portrayed as disgusting cave men.
It's in no way an excuse, but the phenomenon is familiar
and expresses with rightly developed intuitive sensibility really a strength in market economics:
The capacity to capture emotional currents in the society and capitalize on them.
In 1971, Coca Cola captured the hippie ideal and made it their own.
A few years later, the yuppie era was upon us,
the same soda was sold with a completely different approach.
Gillette's commercial attempts to capitalize on feminist identity politics,
sometimes called "pink-washing."
In essence, they try to re-brand their name by superficial means
with identity-political ideals, in order to appear modern and morally attractive,
so-called "virtue signaling."
Gillette is far from alone in trying to monetize virtue signaling.
The Danish budget shoe franchise company Bianco:
And the German car manufacturer Audi tried in 2017 to pull the same stunt...
...with polarization as a result.
Swedish store chain Åhléns tries repeatedly to capitalize on identity-political virtue signaling,
in 2016 by encouraging a break-up with sexist clothing standards,
This is about the gender power hierarchy translating into a power hierarchy of clothes.
And 2018 by wishing to torpedo the myth of "The Swedish Christmas."
First, let's state that companies are totally free
to decide themselves how they want to communicate with their target groups,
regardless whether they want to offend parts of the razor consumption segment
or as when Guido Barilla, Chairman of the Board of
the global family-owned pasta company Barilla Group
openly took a stand against, and alienated the gay pasta consumers.
Few know that Barilla owns Swedish crispbread manufacturer Wasabröd
So now, at least you know that it certainly isn't some sissy gay crisps.
First of all, it is a sign of democratic poor health
when communication of politicized virtue signaling
that polarizes and alienates large parts of the market, is deemed important
to keep a brand name relevant.
But what's worse is that these communications with the visual strength of advertising
consolidates falsehoods with serious consequences
as the ads do not care about the actual facts:
for a brand, there is absolutely no difference between claiming
that chewing gum is a small part of America or...
...that all men are a heartbeat from committing rape.
Communication is instrumentally subject to the brand building that the
company board procure from their advertising agencies.
It is worth to analyze the patriarchal oppression
that these global consumer product manufacturers now present
established truth in order to strengthen their brands in a time of identity politics.
Let me start by highlighting the importance of continuously
evaluating societal structures that inhibit, hinder and hamper
success, development and innovative tendencies...
...but the assertion that the whole of human civilization
mainly is characterized by an ancient masculine tyranny
is preposterous.
They are, in the patriarchal debate
recklessly tossing around accusations of pay gaps,
where women are said to earn less than men because of their sex
without taking into account variables such as career choices, priorities and preferences
that are impacting the overall wage outcome.
Different groups are attributed collective identities...
...and do an analysis of power where differences in outcomes are confused with oppression
without recognizing that differences in the priorities of life,
personality dispositions and biological precedents influences the choices
that determine how people organize their existence socially, culturally and economically.
This tyrannical privileged patriarchy is also affected by
93% of all accidents at work.
Men account for 97% of all deaths in war,
represents 79% of all murder victims
and 80% of all suicides.
75% of all single homeless are men.
Men suffer more than women of depression
and lead shorter lives...
...if statistical outcomes in isolation are an indication of injustice.
This does not deny the existence of negative prejudices,
these do exist and should be combated,
but they are only a small part of a wide variety of variables
that together determines a person's life situation.
The claim that the overall CIS masculinity
is some kind of conspiring secret brotherhood
that behind closed doors rigs world domination
in order to oppress minorities on the basis of
gender, sexual orientation and ethnicity is not just an absurd fantasy
with roots in the cliché of matinee villains.
The idea of the patriarchy is destructive,
because young women get a victim identity established
whereby an enigmatic, abstract and malicious third party
is responsible for undesired situations in life
and necessitates political intervention with the law as a weapon
to enforce a more desirable human ideal
and compensate for perceived inequalities.
The idea of the patriarchy is destructive,
because it blames boys with an original gendered sin,
claiming that their ambition, energy and impetus for self-realization are
malicious urges always expressed at the expense of someone else.
The idea of the patriarchy is destructive,
because it deprives the individual of
agency and the responsibility of his or her own deeds
that is the only opportunity to learn to be better.
The only way to develop an understanding of cause and consequence.
The idea of the patriarchy reduces criticism of
the Center Party leader Annie Lööf to sexism,
instead of being a consequence of her being, for a long-term, communicating misleadingly
with resulting feelings of anger and betrayal.
They concurrently ignore that many other
strong women in parallel are displayed and praised.
The social engineering that based on an
analysis of patriarchy legitimatize far-reaching interventions
in our interpersonal, cultural and political systems
wish to correct and adjust Man as they find him
to raise a human being that they
with ideological arbitrariness set as a more desirable standard.
This is the method that's supposed to stop the emergence of more toxic masculinity.
According to Statistics Sweden, the number of boys
raised by single women, has tripled since 1960.
76% of all teachers are women.
85% of all social workers are women.
The majority of these boys reared by single mothers almost exclusively meet
female authorities when they grow up.
This is not to disparage women's efforts to raise children,
but it is in the light of our children's best also desirable to ask
how the increasing LACK of masculinity
during these children's upbringing is affecting the presumed escalation of
"toxic masculinity."
What the consequences really are of the absence of relevant adult male role models.
What happens when the absent men
are replaced with boys of the same age or elder, but in the same situation.
And yes, abuses exist.
Yes, injustices exist.
Yes destructive prejudices exist
that hinders and impairs performance and opportunities for many different groups
and that is wrong, bad and negative.
And it's certainly desirable to provide
support, help and opportunities so young boys
get the best possible conditions for growing up
to productive, empathetic and responsible men.
But not in this way, through guilt, punishment and coercion.
Not by government intervention and affirmative actions when manning boards,
or lectures about adult people's bedrooms
and corrections based on gendered power on the play grounds.
Not through social engineering where the state assumes the right
to educate our children and reshape our citizens.
Where the individual is deprived of his self-discovery autonomy.
Where the utopia of goals derived from criticism of norms justifies
the increasingly authoritarian and morally totalitarian means.
"The best a man can get"
is perhaps a father who cares?
Who shows how to handle ones testosterone-driven aggression,
and how to channel ones energy,
how to build meaningful relationships
and makes himself, his family and society as a whole stronger.
Do you agree that a society that embraces the individual's self-discovery
and respect peoples subjective choices
and their different outcomes are preferable to
a nurturing and governing society correcting outcomes?

But I strive, like the majority of all men I've ever met

Crystal Palace Circuit Track Walk 1953 - 1972 layout - Duration: 28:41.Hello Herman here, from Circuits of the past.
In this video I show you a track walk around the 1953 – 1972 layout of the lost Crystal Palace circuit in London.
This version was 1.39 Miles long. wich is 2.237 km.
We start on the site of the 1960 – 1972 Start/Finish straight.
Later we will pass the old Start/Finish straight.
Crystal Palace Racing Circuit was operational from 1927 to 1972.
It was located in the Crystal Palace Park in London, UK.
The circuit was mainly used for national events like BTCC, Formula 2 and Formula 3 races.
It also hosted two Formula One non championship races, in 1961 and 1962.
The circuit made usage of existing roads through the Crystal Palace Park, and was changed several times.
On Saturday July 21, 2018 I made this track walk, together with Nick Koleszar, a fan of my work.
So, that was some information. From here you will hear the original sound of the video.

Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Body Bar | Skincare Sarurday - Duration: 5:22.ready welcome back to my channel so this week's skincare Saturday is on the Paul
Mitchell tea tree oil soap so guys if you'd like to see what these look like
prices my little review then please keep on watching and also make sure that you
guys subscribe to my channel hit that notification valve bookmark my page I
blowed a video every single day that week plus a so do live streams every
weekend I want you to be able to come on back and watch it anytime you want so
guys I actually purchased three of these Paul Mitchel tea tree body bars around
Christmas time they were buy two get one free and they were three bucks apiece
okay so which is really really good guys this is a huge 5.3 ounce bar 450 grams
it is cruelty free and it's made with aquavit so it is leaping bunny certified
and it is gluten free which i think is really really nice okay guys so this is
what it looks like like so it's a pretty big bar okay so I have one I've been
using okay so guys I've been using this since Christmas okay so even though I
use this daily okay I mean it has gone down a little but I
mean these will last you a good long while they do have some like exfoliants
in them okay guys I personally don't use this as a body bar I like it for my face
if you do have sensitive skin I think this could cause an issue for you
because this does have not only tea tree oil but also as peppermint in it and I
personally like it my skin is combination I like tea tree oil soaps
cleansers on my face but guys this is actually meant for shaving for cleansing
it does say you can use it on your face just to avoid your eye area which I
always do but guys this stuff is awesome I was really really sad because when I
was in Philadelphia I purchased we want to treat her Joe's and they had a really
nice tea tree oil like bar Gaelic twin pack and then I found out from one of my
lovely viewers that they actually discontinued that that product from
Trader Joe's so I needed to find another tea tree oil face bar so when I
saw this on Ulta or you know buy two get one free and they were only three bucks
a pop I mean that was a really really good deal so guys this does have
lavender tea tree oil and peppermint in it supposed to leave your skin feeling
fresh invigorated I've noticed like I said I've been using it for almost a
month and it hasn't been breaking me out it hasn't burnt my skin I do have it's
not super sensitive but there are some products that will almost leave like a
chemical burn I haven't had any issue with this with this bar absolutely love
it if you like a really invigorating body bar that I think you really like
this it feels really refreshing it does give you a slight tingle I personally
love to my face but if you like tea tree oil for like body soap I mean obviously
it says body bar you can use it on your face I would do like a little test patch
first if you do have this or if your pic thinking about purchasing it but I
really really like this so you can use it for cleansing and shaving like I said
I personally like it for my face because it just makes my skin feel really really
clean and stuff but I absolutely love this stuff I've even used it for washing
my makeup brushes and it just completely takes out all the makeup residue so I
really really like it I think it was a great deal and it is
still available on Ulta but yeah I love this stuff smells really good smells
really refreshing and I just really really love this stuff but if you are a
fan of tea tree oil soap if you haven't tried the Paul Mitchell tea tree oil
body bar I would definitely recommend it it is an awesome product very affordable
and I absolutely love it it's great and I was surprised it was such a great deal
for being Paul Mitchell I mean it is expensive but yeah it's called tea tree
and it is created by John Paul Mitchell Systems there you go but yeah this is
what it looks like it's awesome and I really really enjoy it and if your tea
tree oil lover as well you probably will too but you guys I hope you enjoyed this

Werner would love it at Liverpool - even if he's on the bench - Duration: 5:27.He is the gifted young forward long linked with a move to Liverpool. But while the Reds have previously distanced themselves from such reports, and while it remains highly unlikely they would swoop in the final six days of the current transfer window, could Timo Werner end up at Anfield in the summer? After all, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will surely be looking for striking additions by then
Dominic Solanke has already gone, Divock Origi could join him, while Daniel Sturridge is set to be out of contract
And while there are high hopes for Rhian Brewster, it seems unrealistic to think the teenager would start the 2019-20 campaign as the sole back-up to Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane
But would Werner be happy to play a supporting role? After all, the 22-year-old has bounced back from an underwhelming first World Cup to score 14 goals in 21 appearances for Champions League-chasing RB Leipzig so far this season
However, the guest of our latest Blood Red podcast believes Werner would be tempted to join his compatriot Klopp, and his former Leipzig team-mate Naby Keita, at Liverpool, if the club do follow up their reported interest
Steve Dawson is a Singapore-based television presenter for Fox Sports Asia who anchors the station's Bundesliga coverage and is an expert on the German top flight
And he said on the podcast: "He's good – and he scores goals. He's played 23 times for Germany already, and he's only 22, and he's scored nine goals for the national team, and I actually said on television when we were previewing the World Cup that I thought he was a good bet for the Golden Boot, and while that didn't come to pass, I think that was more about the Germany squad and side rather than Timo Werner as an individual
"He's come back after the World Cup and in all competitions he's scored 14 goals in 21 games, which is a good return, and especially now that Naby Keita has gone, he doesn't get the service he would get in a Liverpool starting line-up
"He reminds me very much of Sadio Mane in the way he can pick up the ball and just run toward goal at pace and maybe encourage a foul in the box
But he's probably a better finisher than Sadio Mane. "And maybe because he is young, he may well be content to sit on the outskirts of the side if he signed
I think it's a bit of a leap to suggest he would replace one of Mane, Salah or Firmino, but he'd certainly be more of a Xherdan Shaqiri in terms of the amount of times he would play, and the occasions on which he'd find himself in and around the starting line-up, rather than say a Daniel Sturridge or a Divock Origi
"I think he'd be a super squad player and because of his age, hopefully he'd be there for the long term, and before long he could be an automatic name on the starting line-up
I'd be a big fan of him joining." Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now Werner has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Juventus and this week reports have emerged suggesting that Leipzig have offered to double his £5
2m-per-year salary. Werner, who has scored 58 Bundesliga goals for Leipzig and Stuttgart, has 18 months left on his contract
"He's playing every week for RB Leipzig, who are a good side, and who are challenging for Champions League football," said Dawson, who also talks Keita, Klopp and Liverpool's forthcoming clashes with Bayern Munich on the podcast
"He could have that, or he could come and be in and around an elite squad at Liverpool that these days is almost a shoe-in for Champions League football, if not lifting the trophy itself
"As a young footballer, who has a good habit of scoring goals, that's the kind of environment you want to be in, and a German player for a German manager, it seems like the perfect mix
"We haven't heard anything concrete linking him to Liverpool, but it seems like an automatic fit, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if come the summer the stories get stronger and stronger, and perhaps a move will be made
"It's only in the last 48 hours or so that the top brass at RB Leipzig have said he's not going anywhere for a few years, but we all know very well that doesn't have to mean very much
"

Extreme KonMari kitchen declutter and deep clean - Duration: 15:27.Hi guys, welcome to today's video!
Today I'm actually in New Zealand for the week. I'm staying at my parents' house.
I am standing in their kitchen, and I said to my mum
that I would help her declutter if she wanted me to. She said "yes".
Dad's a little bit more reluctant but I'm going to give it a go.
And of course I won't get rid of anything without vetting it with them first.
But I just think that their cupboards are a little bit crowded, and mum does want me to have
a go through them and clear them out. She thinks that they have too much stuff.
So I'm going to try and help - just to simplify the kitchen a bit better.
Dad does most of the cooking, so I want to try and make it easier for him and make the room
somewhere where he can enjoy being in this room a little bit more.
If you're new to my channel, my name's Mel. I do a lot of decluttering and organizing on my channel.
I post weekly videos to help you simplify your life and simplify your home, so if that is what you're interested in,
I'd love to have you click the red Subscribe button below and join me on this journey to declutter the world, one item at a time!
Alright, let's get into it!
So I'm going to start by giving everything a quick vacuum.
Just on the roof - I clean from the top down. So I'm getting rid of any dust and any cobwebs,
giving the tops of the cupboards a quick wipe, and then I'll start opening cupboards
and having a look in them. So I'm just really going to concentrate today on crockery and cutlery.
I'm not really worried about pantry and food and that kind of thing.
That is what my mum wants me to look at today.
And we'll see if Dad can bear to part with some of his stuff.
So, first we've got this wall by the stove.
And it's just got some ingredients in the right hand side here -
And, in this cupboard down here
And, so this cupboard here is what I want to have a look at.
It has a lot of mugs and things - but I don't think
they use a lot of what's on the top shelf .
And there's also a lot of old, chipped faded things which
I think we could probably clear out
and bring some of the newer stuff to the front.
They've got so many glasses that I don't think that they use all of them.
And, even if they want to keep them, I think what we could do is
put the less used stuff in another cupboard,
where it's less accessible, and
just have everyday stuff that they use more accessible, and not so crowded.
There's also this pots and pans cupboard, and it's on like a
a lazy Susan.
Sorry it's a little bit dark in there.
A lot of pots, a lot of bowls, a lot of pans.
So I'll have a look at that.
Cutlery drawers.
And utensils drawers are quite full.
So we'll have a look in there.
This is like, 60 years of stuff accumulating.
Maybe 50 years.
And this utensil drawer is quite crowded. I'm not sure how Dad can find anything in here.
I think he does use quite a lot of it though. So I just want to sort out any duplicates
or anything he doesn't use and just make it easier for him to find things.
Under the sink, dad has got his new Nutri Bullet. Which we bought him for Christmas - all of us kids
pooled in and bought it for Christmas.
And... cleaning stuff.
This is pretty much mostly pantry. But at the bottom of it,
"Thank you Bud"
There is a whole lot of crockery and stuff.
And I think this is more their everyday stuff that they use.
So, I don't expect them to get rid of too much of that.
We might just re-arrange some of that and then put some of the lesser used
used stuff in a different place that's not in the way.
Then I think under here, under the oven, we've got pans and things
We've got a huge steamer and a whole lot of microwave containers - which I don't think they
necessarily use anymore but I'll ask them.
And in here we've got
plastic storage containers and a LOT of teacups.
It's safe to say my parents will never run out of cups.
Cupboard's now empty, and it's really, really dusty inside. I don't know when the last time they cleaned it out.
But this is a lot of glasses. And look, I think these are from the 60's or 70's.
How gorgeous are these!
Lovely.
And, little wine glasses. I would totally take these home and use them.
Because they're the perfect size to fit in your dishwasher.
And heaps of mugs...
Look at the yellow and green ones.
I think they're from the 70's, 60's or 70's.
How cool are they.
And then I'm also really excited - look what I found!
These are from my childhood.
I think that is Baa Baa black sheep,
And of course, that's Humpty Dumpty.
And these are little nursery rhyme cups from when I was little.
I wonder if my mum - if my mum doesn't want them,
I wonder if I can take these home for Bud and Toots.
These are so cool. There's a couple more here too.
I think one is really faded from having been washed in the dishwasher.
That was - I think that was Little Miss Muffet.
You can see, that's her in her dress.
And there's another Baa Baa black sheep one.
How cool is that!
So I'm going to have to ask mum what she definitely uses,
and what she wants to go in the deeper storage, or is happy to get rid of.
I think some of these things she said - these are like old ice cream sundae things.
It's really greasy - it needs to have a bit of wash. But
they don't use these. When they have ice cream they just use bowls.
So, things like this she said we can get rid of.
I'm going to go and ask them, and we'll come back and sort it out.
So I'm super proud of mum and dad because they're getting rid of
all this stuff. And actually, a few more things which I've wrapped up.
All this is is going to go to the hospice shop - it's like a thrift store, like Goodwill.
I've started wrapping them up newspaper in this box that dad got for me, so we can take them away.
And then here - here's what the cupboard looks like now!
Although I might end up putting some stuff up the top from another cupboard which I'm going to declutter.
Just to space things out a bit. But this is mainly what they're keeping,
nice mugs and spare mugs up there. Stuff that my niece has given them.
And four wine glasses - and they had quite a few wine glasses. So keeping four is pretty good.
And we found some really nice blue and white teacups in another cupboard, and
they're just gorgeous and I don't know why they're not using them. So
We've put them out front along with their favourite cups.
I'm really pleased with how this cupboard turned out.
And hopefully dad is too, when he gets over the trauma
of decluttering stuff.
It's all cleaned out and I put some stuff back.
Some of the stuff is going in another cupboard,
but we're getting rid of .....
ALL this stuff.
Well, that's from the other cupboard - but all these teacups and stuff
teapots - look at these vintage picnic cups. Camp cups, whatever you want to call them.
Old container, these plates are going in the pantry.
There's an old lid that doesn't go with something.
An old sugar bowl.
Old teapot. Mum wants to give these to the thrift shop.
All this stuff here -
And then we've got some more containers over on the other table.
This is one of those old - remember these? When you used to buy the butter in the blocks and then put it in the fridge.
Old containers, that's got holes and cracks in them.
An old biscuit tin. A very old chipped plate from the 70's or 80's.
I actually remember eating on these when I was a kid.
And some containers which dad reckons he's going to put in his garage.
to keep things in but
we'll see because mum wants the garage decluttered too.
Cleaning out this cupboard above the stove -
There's not much in it. It's mainly
microwave containers.
That's like a big Chinese steamer thing which they want to keep.
Which is quite cool - that is definitely old school.
So I'm just going to clean this out, and go from there.
Pantry - I'm not going to tackle food today.
But we are going to tidy up these lower shelves.
I think most of the stuff mum and dad want to keep.
But there's a few things she said we can declutter.
So I'll just try and organise it a bit better for them.
Pots and pans in here, which dad and I are going to go through.
And then we've got
these ones in here too.
So we're going to go through those but I'm running out of camera battery.
So I'm not to record it all. But I'll report back when we've gone through it.
So these are all dad's pots and pans.
I think he can cater for 50,000 people with all this stuff.
The old aluminium pot. You've got two deep friers -
You've got another pot, you've got heaps of basins, and more bowls there.
And then this needs cleaning out.
We found some great stuff in the corner, didn't we dad?
We found an ice bucket, which they don't use.
And an old rusted tea kettle. That's mum's old whistling kettle.
Dad's cleaning out the drawers and I'm supervising.
We're getting tired, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
So we're not going to stop 'til we're finished.
"What are those?"
"Orange peelers."
"When's the last time you used them?"
"I haven't, because I didn't know they were there."
[snorts and laughs]
"Shut up!" [laughing]
"What's that?"
"Carving knife."
"Can opener, that's a can opener, THAT's a can opener."
"Some of these are no good."
"OK, which ones are no good?"
"They're different sizes."
Don't mess with the father! He's got like 10 butcher knives in there.
You don't want to be breaking into this house!
It could be dangerous.
Alright, so now we're going to tackle the utensil drawer.
"How're you feeling dad?"
"Optimistic?"
"Cool."
"Don't worry, we're not going to get rid of EVERYTHING."
We've kind of loosely categorised things
so we've got about - 200 spatulas here
Three whisks.
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 ladles.
A lot of these fish slice spatulas things - as well as like closed ones.
Tons of wooden spoons - mixing spoons. And some plastic ones.
We've gonna have to be ruthless here dad.
Look how much he decluttered!
Mum's going to be very pleased.
"Oi!" [laughter]
Two more drawers I think. This one and this one - there's not much though.
Mum wants dad to clear these out, and dad doesn't want to.
"Nothing there to clear."
"I'm just Switzerland."
Oh my gosh - we are done!
I'm exhausted.
Dad's exhausted.
"You happy Dad? Look how you're decluttering! That's only a small fraction of it."
[whispering] He's going through, seeing if he can keep any of it!
"You don't need that Dad."
OK guys, I just want to let you know I'm super proud of my dad.
Look at all these utensils he's getting rid of.
And all this stuff - there's a rusty old wire sieve there.
And tons of disposable stuff.
And all this stuff to go to Goodwill - like the thrift store.
It's like a cake thing.
So proud of dad!
He's done really, really well.
So we've put all the cutlery up here.
They've got like three sets of cutlery but
when everyone comes around to visit for dinner they kind of need all the cutlery.
And then this utensil drawer - I just got dad to put the things that he
uses most often - like most days.
Like the knives and utensils, and spatulas and spoons and things.
Tongs that he uses most often.
Potato peelers, bottle / jar openers,
In this one there are spare eating implements
and spare scissors and cork screws and things they don't use as often.
And these are all the other utensils that he kept
that he doesn't use as often.
It looks heaps better.
It actually fits everything now, and there was actually stuff right at the back
behind the lazy Susan that was making it not turn so well.
We got rid of a lot of that stuff.
There were two deep friers in here. We got rid of those.
And some extra bowls.
And pans.
Non-stick pans that had all the non-stick coming off them.
We got rid of those.
And, now he can reach everything here
A couple of saucepans that he uses nearly every day and
his chopping boards.
Dad's just gone to get another box to put this in so we can donate this stuff.
And this is a box of rubbish.
So that is our KonMari kitchen declutter
at my parents' house
and I'm really really proud of dad
getting rid of so much.
I think he was a bit inspired by the [KonMari] Netflix series.
because we did watch a couple of episodes at my sister's place the other day.
Alright guys - I hope you enjoyed this video.
I hope it gave you some motivation to give your kitchen a cleanout,
even if it's just one or two drawers.

Sitnikov Futurism dergisine yaptığı açıklamada: ''Bizler markalar ve etkinliklerle yönetiliyoruz;
de giderek sıklaşması, gelecekte Çin'in elektrik tasarrufu amacıyla yapay Ay inşa
etmesi veya Japonların yapay meteor yağmuru için girişimlerde bulunmasından çok daha
tuhaf olaylara tanık olacağımızın somut bir kanıtı gibi duruyor…
