If science drops in a field but no other researchers are around to hear it, does it further the
academic area of study?
Howdy researchers, Trace here for DNews.
Science is a process, it's a way of thinking about the world around us.
Most of these scientific processes are thought through and then published in a journal, but
to read them you have to pay!
Shouldn't all this scientific knowledge be FREE!?
Firstly, science is mostly paid for by grants from governments, non-profits, foundations,
universities, corporations or others with deep pockets.
We did a video about it.
But, even though the science was paid for, that's just the first half of the equation...
the other half is the scientific journal.
The first journals were published over 350 years ago as a way to organize new scientific
knowledge, and that continues today.
According to the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers,
2.5 million new scientific papers are published each year in over 28,000 different journals.
A new paper is published every 20 seconds.
(and you thought we'd run out of stuff for DNews 😉).
Researchers need others to read their paper so it can affect their field.
So, they freely send their treasured manuscripts to journals for peer review and publication.
When a manuscript comes in, specialists select and send the best manuscripts to volunteer
experts in the field who are "carefully selected based on… expertise, research area,
and lack of bias" for peer review.
After that, the papers are copy-edited, compiled into an issue of the journal, physically printed
and then shipped and/or published online!
They're, like, the nerdiest magazines in the world.
All this costs money…
According to a study in PLOS One this whole process can cost 20 to 40 dollars per page,
depending on how many papers the journal receives and how many they have to reject.
Someone has to pay for that, and there are three ways this can happen: authors can submit
for free and readers/subscribers pay (called the traditional model), or authors pay and
readers get it for free (called open-access), or both authors and readers pay!English-language
journals alone were worth $10 billion dollars in 2013!
I know what you're thinking, just put them on the internet!
Save on shipping, like newspapers and magazines!
Well, even though publishers don't have to print and ship big books of papers anymore,
they often still do.
And, even if the journals were only online, servers and bandwidth need to be paid for,
and that ain't cheap.
Publishing requires dollah bills, y'all and someone has to pay, and everyone gets
their money differently…
For example: the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) publishes
the Science journals, and the Public Library of Science publishes PLoS One among others;
both are nonprofits.
But, while PLOS uses an open-access (free to you) model, Triple-A-S publishes six journals:
five with a traditional model (you pay) and one open-access.
Plus, there are for-profit journals like Macmillan Publishers, who own the journal Nature (and
a mix of traditional and open access options).
And the giant Reed Elsevier (now called RELX) publishes over 2000 journals some of which
are open-access and some are traditional!
So, though some are non-profits, they don't always give it to YOU for free, and those
that do still can charge researchers up to 2900 dollars to publish!
While others make money off scientific research which makes some people feel icky.
The whole thing is confusing.
Asking "what is worse: for-profits charging universities or readers for access, or open-access
charging authors?"
Shrug.
The debate rages.
Many scientists argue as the peer review is provided for free by the scientific community,
and the papers are provided for free by the scientific community; access to the papers
should.
be.
free.
The EU agrees, ordering any publically-funded papers to be made free by 2020; pushing toward
open access to science!
In the US, where many of the papers originate, some scientists are calling for boycotts on
for-profit publishing.
In the end, there was a time when practitioners needed a physical reference to the latest
scientific achievements.
In the days before the internet, getting a journal in the mail must have been both exciting
and illuminating, but now, thanks to digital publishing… this whole pay-for-science model
is wont to change…
People WANT the knowledge to be free, but no one knows how to do it.
As y'all know, more research is always needed, but should that research be behind a paywall?

NASA JUNO - FLYING SOLAR TO JUPITER EXPLAINED - Duration: 3:54.
what guys coming up and everyone's gonna
have to nice ice cold beverages but you
know where it won't be very sunny is
about a half a billion miles from here
near Jupiter nasa's juno spacecraft will
be arriving there this fourth of July
making humanity's most distant
solar-powered spacecraft and all of its
systems including keeping it warm are
powered by about the same amount of
power this blender currently using how
is that even possible so far away
let's find out on this episode of crazy
engineering
right we're here with tracy in this huge
room hello Tracy now can you tell us a
little about the room that were standing
in
yes we're here & highway 1 which is JPL
oldest largest clean room where we
assemble spaceback ok and what are we
standing in front of today we are
standing in front of one of the test
units for a juno solar rate dunno
submission that's going to Jupiter to
learn more about the planet and how
sport there's a full-scale test unit and
it's one of three on the juno spacecraft
why does it have to be this big
Jupiter's five times farther away from
the Sun than the earth is and the amount
of sunlight you get is decreasing by the
square of the distance so instead of 150
amount of power we have 1 2015 amount of
powder so we need to have a lot of area
on our solar rays because the spacecraft
is pro far away from the Sun and also
over the last 20 years we've had about a
fifty percent increase in solar array
efficiency and make it easier to do at
that distance we have the solar arrays
here on earth they would actually
generate about 14 kilowatts of power
that all the way out in Jupiter they
only generate about 500 watts of power
these things are so huge and heavy I
imagine it's a bit of a challenge
Testament earth before you go to face
yeah the solar rays weigh about 250
pounds of heat here on earth when we
tested them we only played one at a time
because we didn't really have a clean
room facility big enough to do all three
and we also have to do them sideways and
support them on these posts with wheels
on the bottom so you can gently roll
them out and make sure that the hinges
and the dampers and all of that we're
working just fine
who knows one of the largest aircraft
I've ever seen how do you package that
up onto a launch vehicle our spacecraft
is about 65 feet crossed the arrays
deployed and that's certainly wasn't
gonna work
so when we launched the vehicle it has
to be folded up small enough to fit into
the nose cone of the rocket and you'll
notice that the cells are on the inside
and so they wouldn't be getting any
power from the Sun that was a really
interesting time for the team during
launch is knowing that we had to make
sure the eraser deployed to get sun or
the spacecraft would just have died
so we deployed for absorbing energy when
do we hope to arrive at Jupiter we're
gonna ride on july 4th of 2016 and the
mission is going to last until februari
of 2018 great we'll be watching and you
guys out there stay tuned for that
mission getting to Jupiter and check
back again for some other crazy
engineering

NASA JUNO: LISTENS TO GREETINGS FROM EARTH EXPLAINED - Duration: 5:01.
this is my transition made some
something
the hi Juno experiment is something that
a group of us came up with the biggest
challenge we had was we didn't know if
this was going to work if it works you
know I'm part of history
this is that being six JPL Jet
Propulsion Laboratory and pasadena
california LOL CQ CQ CQ
you're sly by is junos way of gaining
some extra speed changing direction so
that its orbit and take it to Jupiter
said what if we actually sent something
to Juneau basically came up with the
idea that we can send Morse code to
enlist the support of amateur radio
operators around the world so the intent
is to join amateur radio community
together in a coordinated transmission
from Earth to the jhino spacecraft as it
flies by the website would tell them ok
key down now
keyup transmit for 30 seconds and that's
how we would send a dipped but he knows
morse code is did it haha well it turns
out to say hi to juno it takes four
digits space into dates for the I i
thought wow that's neat thing to do and
they're going to need a lot of people to
pull this thing off
I said I'm good to go
we're getting ready right now here we go
ok
and now we're transmitting
they could hear ham radio operators all
over the world doing this which was
really remarkable everybody's doing this
at the same time thousands and thousands
of hand then he locked the jhino
spacecraft will be able to listen and
hear all these amateur radio
transmissions and so what we're doing
now is we're looking at the data that's
come down and see if we can put together
that signal that says hi
will it work who knows
have the audio from juno I'd love you to
listen to it
this sounds very cool actually work when
you think about what it is it was really
really amazing how many times you get to
say hi place that is named by your plan
to be a part of it that was very great
more than thinking about what it means
to me
think it's just such a great thing that
humankind has the ability to think
beyond our own environment it's the
curiosity
it's the adventurous spirit space
program has given us
yeah i dunno I dunno I dunno I Judah
hard to move required thank you
ok take 17
history but the only person around it
doesn't have TV coverage of the food and
man they got the black up now you're
gonna be getting a TV picture they'll
yes we are getting

NASA JUNO: MAKING SOLAR POWER HISTORY EXPLAINED - Duration: 2:15.
juno is taking solar power farther than
it's ever been
as part of NASA's new frontiers program
that explores our solar system
juno holds the record for the first
solar-powered spacecraft designed to
operate at Jupiter systems from the Sun
when it arrives at jupiter in July the
spacecraft will receive about 25 times
less sunlight then it would it work near
Earth to power the spacecraft's
computers and instruments Juno has 3 30
foot long solar arrays with a combined
18,600 98 individual soul ourselves
covering an area of 535 square feet at
Earth's orbit those arrays would be
capable of generating over 14 kilowatts
of electricity enough to power about
twelve houses in Jupiter's orbit five
times further away they only provide
about 500 lots enough to power about
five household light bulbs
we constructed the juno spacecraft and
design mission operations so the three
large solar panels will be in the
sunlight continuously throughout his
entire mission the orbiter is never
eclipsed by Jupiter advanced engineering
in space exploration is another way for
engineering a better tomorrow

"CHIŃSKI" mikroskop USB 800x lub 1600x - opinia, recenzja [microscop UBS 800x-1600x review - ENGsub] - Duration: 4:42.
I want use microscope to record scene like that make by camera. I see picture, and I make zoom to see piece of image.
I record scene of this movie very quick, becouse i get it in friday, and I didn't like it so I send it back in monday.
It was in box, and in bubble foil. In the box was stand too.
On the box wasn't information about it in language I can understand.
Inside was foil with scale, but I can't use it becouse one of program wasn't work.
I dont like that: box was too small to put CD inside.
On CD was programs record two times. One time in folder second time in RAR file.
On CD wasn't eny print about that for wat this CD is.
On CD was instruction in english. It say how to install drivers.
There was two programs, but only one work.
In instruction was write what buttons (snap and zoom) on device do, but they didn't do it.
The stand was simply, but it should bee heavy. The pad was glued carelessly.
Microscope hold well in stand.
It UBS device and have goot light control.
But there was not zoom regulation.
When I spin it the camera come inside/outside, but it change sharp of image, not zoom.
It should be that: every push zoom button change zoom 20x, 50x, ... 1600x, and then start from 20x again. Something like that on this image.
I bought it to make scele like that: all coim and zoom so big to see whot eagle have in the eye.
Device give same zoom all the time and in was very hard to get sharp image.
The stand shold bee like this.
Screw of stand didn't hold microscope enought and it fall.
In my opinion: DO NOT BUY IT!!!!

But he's always hungry
He's not sorry
You're probably right
Whatever the case, here's a sneak peek of
The new comedy special
I hope you guys check it out very soon
It's gonna be available on Netflix
It's uncut...
It's unrated...
And it's going to be ready for you
That's right people, Netflix
The people that brought you Narcos
You know, the show that kills a lot of Latinos
But it's entertaining
Yeah that one
So check this out you guys
Here's my new special
A clip of
I'm sorry for what I said when I was hungry
Available December twentieth
And if It's already past December twentieth then...
Just go back and watch it, its... It's okay
So my son has these two friends that come over
To the house all the time
One friend his name is Ken
Works a lot with computers
The other friend his name is Fabian
He wants to be a police officer
Both of these kids are really, really good
Now I keep calling everyone kids
Even though they're all 18
But to me, they're kids
I'm almost 40... I'm like ah, ya know?
Like some of the conversations that we have
Are very adult-like
And he other conversations I'm like...
What am I doing with my life?
For example at home...
At home when I'm hanging out
I usually just wear you know
Very similar to now except the Hawaiian shirt
I usually wear like a t-shirt that has
Like, either Star Wars or... Marvel Comics
Or Transformers on it or...
Cartoons
And I like wearing stuff like that around the house
One day, I'm wearing a t-shirt that has the Avengers on the front
And I walk into the living room
And my son's friend Fabian sees me
Wearing this shirt
And so he starts pointing
And I'm like what's up dude?
He goes
Pshhhh.... Weak
Scuse me?
Weak!
And then he says DC's better
What did you say?
DC's better
I'm like DC's ok... You know Obama lives there
They pass laws. They got hotels, historic museums
It's not even a real state
I dunno why you're getting cray cray
He goes nah foo!
DC comics!
And I'm like hey man... I'm almost 40
I don't care
It's just a really cool shirt, I like it...
It fits!
No big deal
That's cause they are
I go, you need to relax
Their the best!
I go, you need to chill
And in my head I'm like, why am I having this conversation
I have better things to do with my time
Like trying to get my son on an elephant
The kid in me is like, why are they the best?
And then he points at the shirt again
Iron man sucks, Batman's number one
I go... Why?
Cause he is
I go, that's not an argument
First of all...
Batman's not the best superhero
I hate to break it to you...
He's not
I can hear people already getting ready to boo
They're like oh no fluffy, don't go there
Don't go there fluffy, don't do it
Yes, I'm going to do this... Watch this
Batman's not the best superhero
Batman is the creepiest superhero
Batman is the creepiest superhero that has ever lived
He even sounds creepy
I'm Batman
I'm Batman
You don't recognize that voice?
Want some candy?
Help me find my puppy
Hello! He only comes out at night
His face is always covered up
He's always waiting in alleys
And who does he talk to?
A guy named Joker, a guy named Riddler
His name is Batman
Joker Riddler Batman... Joker Riddler Batman
Those are Mexican gang member names
Can you imagine if that was Batman's real identity?
At night
I'm Batman
During the day...
I'm Batman
I said alright Fabian, Mister "Batman's the best"
Based on my t-shirt
My t-shirts says Marvel Comics
I said I see Thor, I see Captain America
I see Iron man
Who are some of the superheroes that DC Comics has
That makes them better than Marvel..? Go
Batman
You said that
Superman
That's a good one
Wonder Woman
Ok
Green Lantern
Whoa whoa whoa whoa...
I said, I know the other superheroes but...
Green Lantern?
What's his power?
He wears a ring, and the ring gives him power
I said, that's a fantasy
I don't know any man who wears a ring
Who has power
And if you're not clapping right now...
My point exactly!
You can't clap can you?
You can't!
You know why you can't clap?
Cause you're sitting next to kryptonite!
Well there you have it you guys
Hope you enjoyed the clip
And don't forget to subscribe to my channel
Somewhere around here there's a subscribe button
Every month they change it so I don't know
Where to point so you'll figure it out
And if you can't figure it out then
Yeah... you probably should be on the internet
I'll see you guys next time with more of
Whatever it is that I'm up to
There goes my ride you guys... I gotta go

My Story | This Is What I Do - Duration: 3:39.
I'm Anthony Tranchida and this is what I do.
I build businesses and help others do the same.
My work takes me on some very
interesting adventures. I get to work
alongside the best people in their field.
Any given day could mean traveling across
country last minute to pitch a new shoe
brand, or finding a talented businessman
who sells gourmet hot dogs in my own backyard.
Growing up, I would sketch product
concepts and have an endless list of
business ideas.
When I was 16, I started my first real
business selling rubber bracelets.
Manufactured to poke fun at bullshit
holistic healing. By far the worst
business idea I've ever had.
I spent thousands of dollars on rubber
and sold ten I'm being optimistic.
To my family that is. While executing all these
mediocre business ideas, I worked for a
few fortune 500 companies. Like many
others, I wasn't in love with the idea of
a 9-to-5. But I had the fear of losing
stability.
The "What Ifs" of failing as a business
owner weighed heavily on me. I needed a
push. That push landed me in some trouble and
caused quite a bit of setbacks. I was
arrested from Apple for trying to cheat
the system.
I've always seen the loopholes and flaws
in things but I never executed.
Now i know why. I was sentenced to a year
on house arrest and this literally broke
me. I was the point of giving up, but I
didn't show this on the outside. If
there's one thing I learned from my past,
it's that you can't feel sorry for yourself,
and yes, you fucking deserved it. I picked myself
back up, and my drive to be successful soared.
Nobody's going to stop me. Not even me.
I definitely got the push that I needed.
In a way, I'm thankful I learned this
lesson so early in life. I've grown so much
since then. I can honestly say, I wouldn't
be where I am today without my failures.
I learned so much from Apple and can't
deny how great of a company they are to
work for. Everybody has to learn for
themselves and I know me saying this
won't change that fact for anybody.
With my new outlook on life, I started a
very successful online business. Then
another, then another.
I put in so much work into these
companies. No feeling in the world can
replace something you've built. I sold
one of these businesses for a
substantial amount of money and continued
to grow the others. I liked watches, so
I started to watch company. I like
technology, so i started cloud storage company.
I continued this trend until I realized, wait.
I can really help other people. So that's
what I did. I helped others start
their dream companies and took them from
zero knowledge, to over ten thousand
dollars in sales every month. I want to
share this feeling with the world. So I'm
going to help everyone I can
do whatever it is that they love.
I'm Anthony Tranchida, and...

Porn Science: Female Sexual Response Is Contrary to Popular Belief | Best of '16 - Duration: 4:45.
Let's talk about a particularly provocative set of experiments that Meredith Chivers has
done.
This is fascinating Canadian research I've spent so much time with.
So several years ago when I first got interested in her work and I kind of stumbled into her
lab.
I was working on a different unrelated project at the time.
When I stumbled into her lab I found her showing an array of pornography – so men with women,
women with women, men alone, women alone, and even bonobos having sex to self-identified
straight women, gay women, straight men, gay men.
And measuring both their physical response that is vaginal or response in terms of erection
for men and then their subjective response via keypad.
How turned on do I say I am.
And finding something fascinating which was that the male response was pretty predictable.
The straight men actually did mostly just get turned on to men with women or women with
women.
Gay men equally predictable.
The women were very unpredictable and kind of anarchic in at least their physical response.
Again there was this big dichotomy.
The women were saying I'm turned on by what I "should be turned on" by straight women,
by, you know, men with women or to a certain degree I suppose men with men and gay women
by images of women, et cetera.
But their bodies were saying something completely different and their bodies were saying they
were turned on by all of it.
And perhaps most strikingly you might think those bonobos having sex would at least reach
something animalistic in men.
No the men showed zero response subjectively or physically.
But the women did show this physical response to the image of bonobos having sex.
So a lot of interesting things about this, probably too many to name but one for sure
is that the idea of women's sexuality as somehow more controlled needs to be put aside
if we're going to do any serious searching about Eros in women.
And too this idea that women are somehow less visual, less immediate in their sexuality
than men.
Again you need to put that aside if we're going to do any serious looking at truths
about women's sexuality.
Now here's a bit of later Chivers research that both goes along with but also pulls us
in a slightly different direction than that original set of studies.
So remember part of the original set of studies shows women being quite anarchic in what they're
drawn to.
Chivers decides okay, let me take a set of straight women, self-declared straight women
and show them just four types of photographs and see what happens.
Four types of pornographic photographs.
So we've got a flaccid – and these are kind of disembodied genital shots just so
we have nothing to distract us, not a pretty face, not a handsome face, et cetera.
So we've got a dangling flaccid penis.
We've got an erect penis.
We've got a kind of coy soft porn female crotch shot, legs together.
And then we've got a legs spread more hard core shot.
So the straight women do respond to all of it physically.
But that erect penis sends the plethysmograph, a measure of physical response, soaring.
And it's just an indication again of rawness, immediacy and just a kind of this is about
sex.
Let's be careful before we complicate it with all the factors that we eventually complicate
female sexuality with.
There is a core to this and we shouldn't be so quick to look away from it.

*Music: Culture Code - Make Me Move (feat. Karra)
And there you have it, that is my 1 Second Everyday for the second half of 2016.
If you're not already aware, 1 Second Everyday is an app on your phone where you record a
second of every day, put it into the app, and it'll make a montage just like the one
that you've seen.
No this is not sponsored, but if you wanna sponsor me, hit me up, I just really enjoy
using the app so I will leave all of the details of it down in the description below.
Yes, it costs a little bit of money but I think it's been worth it because I've been
using it for like a year and a half now.
I've also put together a compilation of both halves of 2016 if you wanna watch my entire
year all the way through, there will be a link to that in the description and on my end screen.
Thank you for watching that video, I really hope you enjoyed it, if you did please give
it a thumbs up, comment below, subscribe to my channel, all of that jazz if you would like to.
I hope you had a very happy new year, hope you have a great 2017 and I am uploading twice
a week through the month of January so I will see you in a few days with a brand new video, bye!

Top 3 Ways To STOP TILTED - How To Not Tilt (Brawlhalla) - Duration: 6:02.
Hello Brawlhallers, it's Berthen here.
So today, I got into a game that would probably tilt 99% of you.
But not me because I've played competitive games for so long and am used to so many tilting
situations that I got tired of it and came up with ways to stop myself from tilting.
I always get comments like, "How are you so calm, you never get mad and tilted like me.
I tilt and lose 10 games in a row."
That's why I'm going to tell you about three things that you can do to stop yourself
from tilting.
The first is When things aren't going your way, create
new goals, so that you always get something out of it.
So going into this game, my original goal, was to practice my overall bow gameplay, in
a normal ranked match with people who are trying to win.
Unfortunately, it didn't happen, and instead of being real upset that I couldn't get
my way, I just made new goals, and forgot about playing a normal match, cause it obviously
wasn't going to happen with the way this koji was playing.
So instead I worked on what made sense to me.
Which was practicing my dodge reading skills.
This just means that I would try to predict where he would dodge and then hit him after
he waste the dodge instead of just trying to hit him right away because he was running
and dodging a lot.
Then I noticed that I had to also pressure better, which is to move forward more to force
my opponent to dodge which I showed in my "counter passive" video.
So I worked on both of those and ended up having a really nice practice that I concentrated
on and had fun instead of being tilted.
Sometimes you can't do anything about it right away though.
Like when you lag super hard, try to figure out the problem, make a goal out of fixing
the issue instead of being mad.
When you're too hungry or tired to deal with a game like this, you should go eat or go
rest after the game.
The point is that you shouldn't waste time and energy being upset for the rest of the
match because the kind of game you thought you were going to have wasn't happening.
If you focus on it too hard and it's just not gonna happen, you will just get angrier,
the new goals are so you can focus on things that won't upset you or can even make you
happier.
Like getting better, eating, sleeping or finding ways to fix your internet.
So basically, if you focus on what's tilting you, you're gonna keep tilting, if you switch
the focus to something productive, you'll forget about whats tilting you and possibly
be happier or at least not be as angry.
The second thing is To not worry about losing.
Understand that you will NOT lose anything more than a digital number when you lose a
ranked game.
So for example, I have consistently gotton 2200 elo or more, in every season of brawlhalla
starting since season 0, it is currently season 3 .If I lost 1000 games before getting 2200
elo, it would still not change the fact that I got that elo.
The reason is because every game I lose, is not me getting worst at the game.
It's not elo that I will never be able to gain back.
Usually people have ranked anxiety because they think that they'll go into ranked game,
lose elo, and become a worst player, and they'll never get back to their highest elo before
they lost it, so they just become a worst and worst player.
This is simply not true, in fact it's the opposite of the truth.
You can only get better by playing the game.
In season three, the current season, I actually got to 2000, then 1700 elo, then 2000 again,
then 1800 , then 2000 again.
I did most of this live on my twitch channel.
I would get Teros to diamond, switch to Cassidy, lose a bunch, because I suck on her but then
after practicing her, I get to diamond again with her.
Then I repeated with Orion and so on.
There's a pattern here, the more I played and practiced a character, the better I got,
and the better I got, the more elo I earned in the end.
So when you go and hit play ranked.
Just go in there with the intention of getting better, or just playing for fun.
If you play for fun, you'll get better anyways even if you lose a bunch, because you'll
learn what to do, and what not to do, by just playing the game.
Now a lot of you might say that, you shouldn't play near the end of the season, if you're
at your highest elo, so you can get that SWEET SWEET glory, and the border of your current
elo.
If you're thinking this, then I have good news for you.
Glory is based on the number of wins, and your HIGHEST elo, that's right you can get
2000 elo, and lose all the way to 700 elo.
You will still be rewarded the same amount of glory for your 2000 peak elo as someone
who ends with 2000 elo.
The same for borders, if you peaked at 2000 elo, you're getting diamond border, even
if you ended with 700 elo.
So go play ranked if you want to.
Don't get tilted when you lose elo, because you'll get it back later, or not, doesn't
really matter because only your peak elo matters anyway and you can't lower your peak elo,
you can only make it go higher, by playing some more ranked games.
This last action is for when the first two doesn't work.
Take a break.
It's probably not what you want to do, and you've also probably heard it once or twice,
maybe all the time, depending on how often you get tilted.
But it really does work.
I am very unlikely to get mad when I'm playing games but when I do, I take a break, and then
come back later and I'm not mad anymore.
If I don't take a break though, oh boy, it just keeps going.
Sometimes it's just impossible to untilt yourself.
You play a really bad game, and you think maybe the next one will be better, and you'll
stop tilting, but you don't, you just go into the next game with a negative attitude,
and you tilt even more.
When you do this, you just start hating the game more and more, you might even build bad
habits when you play, and that'll make you worst at the game.
But when you stop playing, and thinking about the game, it'll disappear.
Go take a walk, watch a show, just do anything else, that makes you stop thinking about the
game.
This includes not going into a public chat like twitch chat, and telling everyone about
the terrible game you've just had.
Maybe do that with a close friend or something, but if you tell it to a random group of people,
they'll usually feel burdened by it if they're nice, or even mock you if they're not so
nice, telling you to just "get good" and "you're just a noob".
Stuff like that.
So to recap.
The three things you can do to not get tilted is, to create new goals when things aren't
going the way you want it to, instead of trying to win this one game, think about how you
can improve your next game against this player or how you can make the game fun for you.
Don't worry about losing, you're not going to become a worst player, nothing other than
losing one game out of many and maybe losing some digital ranked points is going to happen
to you, you win some, you lose some.
And if those aren't working then just take a break.
Thanks for watching.

any suggestions for a video, then leave them in the comments below and I will consider
it.

My New Year's Resolutions - Duration: 3:29.
It's that time of year again; that time in which us humans celebrate the arbitrary, yet
weirdly specific point in Earth's revolution around the sun and, where as per tradition,
we are expected to make 'resolutions'.
Maybe it's because the two sound alike?
Revolution... resolution...
I- I mean, I guess.
I do feel a bit weird about everybody doing it all at once, though, since they're all
basically the same.
Like, 'I wanna lose weight!', 'I wanna get organized!', 'I wanna spend less money!' *sobbing*
I mean, that's great.
I'm glad you're doing that.
But /everyone's/ doing the same ones.
I don't understand why everyone does it January first, but since it seems to be a cultural
habit, I'll do it, too.
Okay, I only have a couple of resolutions.
Firstly, I need to deal with the monsters.
There's Tollibo, the friendly linen closet creature, but don't let it's name fool you.
It will steal /all/ of your towels when you aren't looking.
T: This is MINE.
E: There's a nest of bauble-birds in my wall.
I've never seen them before, but they leave their excrement /everywhere./ Also Jeff; he
lives under my bed, and frankly, I've grown kind of attached.
Only, he makes weird noises in the middle of the night and disturbs my beauty sleep,
so he's got to go.
*blubbing noises* Wha- What are you- What are you DOING, Jeff?
Hey! *knocks* Knock it off!
J: Oh, sorry.
*blubs away* E: Uh, sorry about that, Jeff.
J: Oh, no, that- that's okay, I guess.
E: My second resolution is to tame my piano.
It looks domesticated, but when Jeff isn't waking me up in the middle of the night, it
is.
*stomping and nyoming* *piano noises* *Eli hushes agressively* ShhHHH.
Shhh.
Shh.
Hush.
Be quiet.
Shh.
Good piano.
My last one is kind of personal.
It's just... to stop accidentally teleporting my friends to alternate dimensions.
See, what I haven't explained on here yet is that my friends' existences are entirely
moderated by my thoughts, and I get really easily distracted.
Sometimes, we'll just be hanging out together, and I'll get sidetracked *pop* and they'll
just... kinda disappear.
It's kinda- it's kinda awkward.
Uh, guys.
Gu- *sigh* Shoot.
And, the only way to get them back from said dimension is to do this really weird chant
and dance, and it's- it's kind of humiliating, especially in public.
*dances and stomps a bit.* Plus, they always come back unconcious and they take forever
to recalibrate.
So... yeah.
I do- I do have real friends.
I swear.
So there you have it.
Those are my new year's revolutions- I mean, resolutions.
Oh, wait, hang on.
I have one more that I almost forgot.
I want to be more creative.
I want to be better at expressing my thoughts in unique ways, because even though I'm deeply
grounded in science, the real world and one's imagination are able to exist separately from
one another.
I want to be reminded that not everything has to make sense and not everything has to
be scientifically proven.
I want to be reminded that there is beauty in silly things that make no sense, and I
never want to be so far removed from my inner child that I can't find her anymore.
Well, that was a silly thing that I did.
I hope you enjoyed that.
I had a lot of fun making it.
If you feel so inclined, you can comment below telling me your new year's resolutions, real
or imaginary.
My twitter handle is right here if you want to follow me @wisdomforgotten, or you can
subscribe to me over there somewhere I'm not sure exactly, in that area.
I hope you enjoyed that.
It was very silly and fun to make; I liked it.
Okay, bye.

Learn English - Weekly Tip 12 for Spanish Speakers - 'take' or 'make' a decision? (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:14.
Hi once again everyone, and welcome back
to 'One English Tip in One Minute for
Spanish Speakers' where each week I talk
about, in some detail, one common English
mistake made by native speakers of
Spanish....and this is video number 12, so
it's the twelfth video.
Once again I appreciate the fact
that you are trying to improve your
English. So well done with that. In these
videos I show you a slide, and on the
slide there are two sentences: One is the
correct way that I as a native English
speaker would say it,
the other is the wrong way that many
Spanish speakers say it. You have to
decide which one is correct. Please do
that now. Read the sentences,
listen to me read the sentences, pause
the video, think about your answer and I
will talk about the answer in the slide that
follows this slide.
If you got it wrong - or you just happened
to guess it right -
you're in good company. Many people make
this mistake. What it means is that
you need to start studying to get past
this mistake. To start you off on
that process, I've given you three
sentences to study from. Memorize
these sentences in their entirety, drill
them into your brain -- really hard wire
them in there by studying, studying,
studying -- and put into practice what
you've learned through speaking or
writing or both...and that's the way you
get past these mistakes. You have to
repeat that process -- until you've -- until
the bad English has left your head and
the good English comes in...to stay,
hopefully.

Top 10 Funny Presidential Moments - Duration: 8:12.
Welcome to Top10Archive! Being the President of the United States of America is not an
easy job. You're under constant scrutiny not just the country you lead, but also the
world. Of course, this makes it tremendously difficult to hide any sort of gaffe, guffaw,
or even moments of splendor – such as these 10 greatest presidential moments in American
history. For this list, we've also added presidential candidates and nominees.
10. Ford Down! A world leader should have grace and style,
especially in those very public moments; but sometimes mother nature aims to work against
your ability to do even the simplest of things, like walk down stairs. After landing in Austria
in 1975, President Gerald Ford was making his way down the stairs from the craft and,
at about ¾ of the way, tumbled down to the ground. While the footage is amusing, especially
watching him stand back up as if nothing had happened, what makes this clip so great is
that it seemed to mark a long string of stumbles that earned Ford the reputation of a klutz.
9. Al Gore and the Internet Imagine being so into yourself that you take
credit for one of the world's greatest resources. In March of 1999, all eyes were on Al Gore
who, during an interview on CNN's "Late Edition" with Wolf Blitzer, claimed he "took
the initiative in creating the internet." Was Gore really stepping forward as the brain
trust within the United States Congress that brought the internet to life? Much of the
country thought so, creating a frenzy within the media surrounding the 2000 Democratic
nominee. If you dissect his words, which most of the media failed to do, what you'll likely
realize is that he wasn't touting himself as the inventor of the internet, but rather
an important part in initiating the implementation of it, which he was, though more careful wording
could have avoided the insanity. 8. Fooling Bush
We've all heard the saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, like white on
rice. No, wait, that doesn't sound right. Fool me once bitten, twice shy? Ugh, I can't
remember it. Hey, Dubya, a little help here? Ah, good 'ole Texas, providing our president
with idioms for him to completely muck up. During a 2002 speech at a Pledge Across American
event, lovable 43rd president George Dubya Bush decided to pass along his own bit of
wisdom, as skewed and fumbled as it sounded. The saying, of course, is "Fool me once,
shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." 7. Clinton's Big Debut
When running for President of the United States, you want to make a big impression on the people
that aim to vote you into office. Even more-so, you want to show the people working against
you just how cool of a guy you are. Cue presidential candidate Bill Clinton's appearance on an
episode of the Arsenio Hall Show in 1992. The performance was… interesting, to say
the least, and maybe not the first choice of things we'd have done after literally
just clinching the Democratic nomination. Then again, we probably aren't as cool as
Clinton was back in his hay day. 6. The Lust of President Carter
You probably wouldn't expect to open the latest issue of Playboy and find a tell-all
from a presidential candidate, but it has happened. In the November 1976 issue, which
featured a spread of playmate Patti McGuire, Democratic candidate Jimmy Carter sat down
with Robert Scheer, who had also interviewed California governor Jerry Brown. Despite the
length and depth of the interview that Scheer conducted, American media really only latched
on to one thing. When questioned on how the public views his religious beliefs, the presidential
candidate somehow got onto the subject of sin, admitting that he's "looked on a
lot of women with lust" and has "committed adultery in [his] heart many times." Definitely
not a presidential legacy you want to be leaving behind, but thanks to Amazon, it's not too
late to get your hands on that issue! 5. Legalities According to Nixon
Sometimes context can be the difference between making a valid point and sounding like a tyrannical
maniac. Richard Nixon may have learned this lesson during his series of interviews with
British journalist David Frost. In response to Frost inquiring whether the president can
cross legal boundaries in the interest of the nation, Nixon claimed: "When the president
does it, that means it is not illegal." While it sounds like Nixon is enjoying crime
sprees as President of the United States, what he was referring to was the president's
ability to approve a motion that may otherwise violate certain laws, therefore making it
legal in that instance. Maybe providing the explanation at the same time as the bold statement
would have been a better option. 4. Shoes for Bush
As an American, nothing about this clip should be funny… but we're not perfect. During
a press conference in Baghdad, an Iraqi reporter Muntadhar al-Zaidi stood up and threw both
of his shoes at President Bush. While there was an undeniable rage focused into each throw,
Bush's catlike reflexes are impressive, to say the least, and add a little comedic
value to this clip. It's tough to see, but it also looks like Dubya was smiling a little
on his rebound. 3. Obama: Fly Slayer
During a 2009 interview with John Harwood on CNBC, Obama found himself pestered by a
tenacious fly in mid-speech. Being a man of power, there was no way he could let the winged
infidel get away with its obnoxious buzzing, especially after ignoring POTUS' gentle
swatting. The creature took things a step further and landed on the president's hand
who, in one quick but loud motion, put an end to the pesky bug's life. As if it were
nothing, Obama coolly re-engaged the interview. Fly-Gate didn't just end with a tiny carcass
on the floor, though, as PETA allegedly started receiving media inquiries on Obama's more
murderous tendencies. In response, PETA writer Alisa Mullins wrote: "Human beings have
a long way to go before they think before they act."
2. Bernie's Birdcall Maybe if the DNC had listened to Mother Nature's
instincts, the 2016 presidency may have gone to a Democratic candidate. During a 2016 rally
at the Moda Center in Portland, Sanders was in the middle of discussing education when
a tiny feathered visitor drew an ecstatic reaction from his supporters. The small bird
interrupted the Bern's flow as audience members became distracted by the visitor.
Just as Bernie took notice to his newest supporter, the House Finch flew up onto the podium where
it perched for a moment before flying off. The crowd went wild, memes were created, a
hashtag was born, and Bernie would go down not as the 45th president of the United States,
but as Birdie Sanders. 1. Bush Gets Handsy
… alright, three times! We're trying, but, come on. Good 'ole George Dubya left
behind some legendary unintentionally comedic moments. George Bush made it known many-a-time
that he was not too keen on the "do's" and "dont's" of being president, but he
made one of his biggest mistakes at the G8 summit in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2006.
And no, we're not talking about the sidebar comment made to British Prime Minister Tony
Blair. While meandering about, he passed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and, like
an awkward frat boy, stopped to give her an awkward shoulder squeeze. The Chancellor's
reaction was extremely telling as she flung her shoulders up to shake Bush and grimaced
at the very inappropriate gesture. Bush, however, went on his merry way, likely none-the-wiser.

(Airsoft) - Sneak Attack With A FNX-45 By Cybergun/VFC - Duration: 7:42.
*We are sneaking behind the enemies*
Me: No, no, no.
Me: Are there more of them?
Team: There's one in the room.
Team: We can't all stay in this corner.. Move!
