Makeup Challenge | Swapping Natural & Bold Makeup Routine - Duration: 14:25.my eyes look like I am a dinosaur
yes.....
today we're going to swap makeup routines!
basically I am really simple
and she is the makeup queen
so we're going to swap makeup
for five days and see how it goes
describe your makeup style in 3 words
bold, intense, dramatic
simple, lazy, and invisible
How long does it take to get ready?
oh my God
it can range as quick as thirty minutes
to like two hours
as quick?
Damn girl!
I give myself like five to ten minutes
I'd rather like eat
what is your must-have?
must-haves is definitely eye region
otherwise I just have no eyes
and then I definitely need contour
and a bold lip
if I don't put anything on it
it just looks dead
her lips are so fat and juicy like a slug
but in a good way
my must-have is probably my entire routine
it's just the concealer.....
okay you ready?
okay!
step one primer, step two foundation
step three concealer
and we are not done yet
you need to highlight the inner corner
that's a must
and then you're gonna do the bronzer
the blush, the highlight
and then you need to go to the lip liners
don't forget brows
I don't even know where we are right now
and then the lips
okay I understand why this is
a multi-billion dollar industry now
oh forgot to mention
what I always do when I am on camera
is I wear contacts
No!!!
I look forward to your makeup routine
I'm like the lazy man's go
okay it's all about basics
so first I will start with primer
and then I'll go through with a concealer
just to conceal like the mountains in my chin
under my eyes
it is all the same color
there is no highlighting or anything
and then I'll just pack that down
with some powder
actually I'm not that basic
I still put a little color to my cheeks
with a blush and then I'll have
the good old Hoola bronzer
I just use the bronzer as my eyeshadow color
I go like this and draw it down here
I have this palette but I use one shade out of it
you're only allowed to use this one
because that's all I use
and then I just pop that into the crease
and pretty much all over the eyes
that's the worst
like giving them a buffet
and say you can only eat this one tiny shrimp
this one shrimp
and then I'll just curl the lashes
with some mascara
and then I have brows
it's just 50 shades of brown
wait so you have no lips
oh I do have lips
it's like a mild lip but better
can you see it?
No
I didn't think you had anything on
that's the point right
mild lip but better
this is my favorite from "Too Faced"
and it's the spice spice baby
let's get out of here
yeah
let's go!
her makeup routine done
took me a solid hour to put this face on
look at that !
so I gotta keep it professional
even though these lips say otherwise
okay we have a meeting let's go
and we're gonna go have lunch
so I'm gonna go in my naked face
it made me feel like
I wasn't like really my hundred percent
so by the way I had to take off that
drastic purpley black lipstick because
no one would take me seriously
in the meeting
and I felt like everyone was just
looking at my lips
so yes reverted to a more neutral color
okay so successfully exchanged
the pants at AG
and the funny thing is the guy who served me
when I went to buy it he was like
oh so you're Mia
because I have no makeup on today
so he couldn't recognize me
I'm like either no makeup or like
a full face of makeup
and we're back
well though you can see
the concealer how red I am
just realized oh my God
it's starting to transfer Mia
so I realized put on my glasses
and because these fake eyelashes
are so long
it's like getting caught in the glass frames
it claims to be stay all day
but it's not stay all day
she had a croissant and it's already like
peeling off
good morning so this is day two
of the challenge
and I'm going to get ready
and put my face on
it's like one of the coldest days
in New York right now
I kind of just want to nozzle my face
inside my scarf but I cannot
because there's like three layers of makeup
on this face
it's so cold....
so my makeup is done
that took like two minutes
no eyes......
photobomb....photobomb
having all the makeup on I felt like
while I was walking on the street
that everyone was just looking
at my sparkly dolphin eyelids
it's really heavy the eyelashes
and I kind of feel like everyone
on the street is looking at me strange
but that could just be me
they probably don't give a damn
what do you think a girl's makeup says about them?
it depends on the makeup
and how the makeup looks of course
but.....
it's also quite windy
and I feel like these lashes might flutter off
if I don't squint on it
I think it's really special
when someone does that
I definitely feel like a hood rat
you see my normal makeup
what I look like when I'm on camera right
sure
and then compare to this makeup
which one do you prefer?
I like the on-camera makeup a lot
is this my normal makeup?
something different
the eye area....it's like more this?
so you would much preferred
that makeup look on me than this right?
it's not that you look bad right now
oh you look great it's just
you look amazing when you do all that
so you should do it
but I feel like it's extra right now
it's extra!
oh my God
this has been on my eye for like 12 hours
yes.......yes.......
I don't know if I'm actually tired
or it's just the weight of these eyelashes
that are making me feel tired!
I just woke up, and I realized
I am already late!
take me as I am.....
let's do it
the hardest part I think was
waking up
like I would wake up
and I would just dread putting on makeup
at the office
going to do it now
and as you can see
I've moved my entire life over here
see how long it takes!
and now I'm just gonna curl the lashes
as you can see I have like literally
no lashes
this is called excessive lash
this is nowhere near excessive
may just proves how small
my lashes are to begin with
that you can't even see anything
meanwhile
okay so I'm off to lunch
with my naked face
like seriously
you can't even see my eyelashes
this is so sad
I learned having good skin
and long lashes would be ideal
do you like this makeup look on me?
yes
is it more natural?
yes
Mia
did I do well?
does it look like your style?
no
do you prefer this on my everyday
on-camera look?
Ugh.....where have I failed you?
everywhere
everything has to be intensified
you prefer this one?
yeah
back to the drawing board
I learned that I am not good
at not doing my makeup fully
that look like a blank canvas
taking the day's makeup off
just let me be....
good morning
it is day 3 or 4......
and you know what honestly
I don't even know what day
it has been so tiring
so this is day 4 of the no makeup makeup
I feel amazing
but we're about to put on our face
so I'm actually starting to break out
and I don't know if it's from actually
putting on more makeup
okay so Mia has kindly laid out
all the products to put on a face
this is so scary
it's gonna take me another 20 minutes
to put on those contacts
oh my God......how do I do this?
20 minutes later
I got it in....
up goes the other one
the hardest thing were the damn contacts
that took me like 25 minutes
to poke that sucker into my eye
success!
Okay so now my face is done
and she still hasn't done her eyes
lip time
okay I am done
where's your blush?
Where's your highlight?
it didn't come up
this was it
okay where's the highlight?
makeup really is an art
because you're playing with shadows
and depth and glitters to bring it out
the struggle is too hard
my eyes look like I am a dinosaur
did I pass today?
this is still not okay?
it's not smokey enough
okay I abort mission I cannot do it
today is actually the last day
of the makeup swap challenge
last day of make up!
I think I'm actually going to miss
a light makeup
because honestly if I'm not filming
I prefer to wear no makeup
and it's kind of been hard
because I either go no makeup at all
or like a full face of makeup
so kind of just like in-between
no-makeup makeup look type of thing
is actually harder than it looks
okay I have to say I was a little bit
also a little bit lazy on the whole
putting on blush and contour
so my makeup is done
I've pretty much skipped like bronzing
and everything like that
because I feel like if I want to have
a no makeup day
I just usually stick with just eyebrows
I'm gonna head out now
thank God that one week is finally over
I did actually have a lot of fun
okay so I think the most interesting thing
was to hear the feedback from people
about like what they liked on me
it was interesting in that I think
people think you're a different person almost
when you're like dolled up
your identity is almost a little different
like people know you
as being basic or being simple
and then once you step out of that
it's like "who are you"?
so actually another thing I kind of think
is that some people's features
are just made for makeup
Felicia's right about that some faces
are just made for makeup
after this maybe my face is just not meant
for a lot of makeup
I think I'm pretty lucky
that I just have features
that can wear a lot of makeup
it just holds
whatever it is
that you're most comfortable with
I think that's like you know
the most important thing
I guess it's just all about having fun
and just enjoying whatever you put on
because I did that day
you wash this all off and you're still you
okay guys so that concludes
our weekly challenge
our first one!
yes!
let us know if you guys have any other ideas
about what challenges
you want to throw at us
it can be anything
eating.... like food
or it can be makeup
it could be like style, anything like that
put it in the comments
and you know we will take a look at it
see what we can do next
so if you enjoy this kind of video
remember to hit the thumbs up
and subscribe for more
so thank you guys for watching
and we'll see you in our next video
Bye!

Kickstarter Watch Review: Xeric Trappist-1 Moonphase - Duration: 10:33.Kickstarter Watch Review - Xeric Trappist-1 Moonphase watch hey guys this is Andrew with my watch Addiction com and today we're gonna take
a look at another Kickstarter Watch Review that I've received in before we get started
though guys just a couple quick housecleaning items as I mentioned in
one of my previous videos I would pick a date that I was gonna do that drawing to
win one of my watches and I finally have sat down and picked a date to do that
that's gonna be March 31st 2018 on that day we're gonna do a couple of things
we'll do the drawing to see who's gonna win one of my watches but also we're
gonna do something else that you guys have been asking me for and then we're
gonna take a look at just a quick overview of my watch collection as it
currently stands and then what I'll likely do is given the fact that my
current collection changes so regularly we'll probably come back every you know
every three to four months and just do a quick update on what's in my collection
at that time and make that a regular part of the channel so you guys can see
my trading patterns and how many watches I keep and what I'm actually keeping
what watches stick around the whole nine yards with that second thing watch the
day for me is the arctic silver renegade that you guys saw me review yesterday
from their Kickstarter campaign so Kickstarter Watch Review release video
yesterday today we're gonna look at another Kickstarter Watch Review I figured what
the hell why don't we make it a Kickstarter Watch Review weekend and tomorrow and
Monday will be two other Kickstarter watches that have recently received it
but today today what we're going to take a look at is the Xeric Trappist-1 Moonphase
Xeric watches
so let's take a closer look at the Xeric watch that I received in from the
recent Kickstarter watch campaign if you guys aren't familiar with Xeric watches I
actually have had one before I had the Xeric Evergraph that I received as a
part of their previous Kickstarter campaign but let's tear into this Trappist-1 and see what we get right out of the gate you see they're just a very plain
cardboard box that it comes in and in the box you receive Xerich warranty card
which tells a little bit about their warranty and as well as directly to
their website to find out more and read the instruction manual but this is why
we're here this is the Xeric Trappist-1 Moonphase and I opted for the
gunmetal red version you can see the case on this guy is gunmetal color and
then there's red in the strap as well as on the dial if we want to take a walk
around the swatch a little bit before we get into it too much this is a black
leather strap with red stitching now the straps on these watches because this
watch obviously has that space motif to it or space design to it on this watch
was designed after or inspired by nasa's discovery of the trap has one solar
system so they tried to keep this watch very space oriented so these straps on
this watch were modeled after the textured space gloves that astronauts
used when traveling into outer space you see kind of that pillowy pattern right
there if we look on the back of this these straps do have quick-release tabs
and you will see right there if I can get it in focus for you guys you can see
their logos on the strap itself and xeric logo right there
this watch actually runs with a Ronda caliber 708 movement with moon phase and
D indicator now we'll get into how to read this watch here in just a second
but as I mentioned it does run on the Ronda calibre 708 movement the DAO
functions have super loom on the planetary hours minutes the North Star
which is a 12-hour indicator and the star trail displays are all super loom
one cool thing about this and it's going to be kind of hard to see I'll see if I
could get some close-up pictures of it at the end but right here at the six
o'clock position you see that round area in the grille that is actually a
magnified date indicator at the six o'clock position
the case is 316l stainless steel with a domed space tested has two like crystal
now I don't know anything about passive light or what it is but this this watch
does have a pretty decent dome on it and that's kind of why you're seeing the
lighting in my group pretty badly because of that dome the size of this
watch is 44 millimeters wide and 16 millimeters thick so it's a good sized
watch looks like it's going to be really really comfortable to wear this watch
has a 5 ATM water resistance and as I mentioned us Horine leather for these
space glove textured straps so let's get this guys set back up for you and we'll
take a look at how you actually read this watch one of the reasons I got rid
of the xeric evergraph before is because of just how it fit on my hand I
don't think I'm gonna run into the same issue with this watch this watch looks a
little more comfortable so on this watch you
have a couple different size we'll call it planets for lack of a better term
right here you have the smaller one currently up near the 12 o'clock
position and then you have the larger planet we'll call it at the three
o'clock position now this larger planet if the three o'clock position currently
hovers our rotates right around this inner circle that is the our indicator
this guy right here at the 12 o'clock position that is the minute indicator so
you'll see at the end of the video I'll do a speed up of this watch actually
working and you'll be actually actually be able to see those move now those are
on what appear to be translucent discs with the additional you can see all
these stars all over the all over the dial here those move as well and kind of
give it the approach of the whole solar system moving throughout the night now
in the center of the dial here we you can see the moon we also have the North
Star right here this dial moves and gives us the phases of the Sun and the
moon throughout the day which I think that's really really neat concept and
then right down here at the six o'clock position if I can get a better angle on
it you can see right there the six o'clock position that is the magnified
date indicator now one of the things that I had to look at when I first got
this watch was the lumati and I've got to tell you the loom and
this watch in the dark looks out of this world for lack of a better term alright
guys so that was the xeric Trappist one moon face that I received in from the
xeric watch's Kickstarter campaign absolutely guys I encourage you to stick
around and take a look at the close-up pictures on this watch really really
really out there design really design in my opinion I have a feeling
that this one is going to stay in my collection a little bit longer than the
xeric ever graph did just because I like the concept I like the design of this
one a lot more but definitely stick around and take a look at the close-up
pictures of this as well as some of the lume shots of the Xeric Trappist-1 Moonphase if
you guys have any questions about this watch or any questions in general you
can post them up in the comments below will reach out to me at the website in
my watch addition.com finally if you guys want to see what's on my wrist on a
daily basis so you can follow us on instagram at instagram / watch addiction
dye us thank you guys and have a great week Kickstarter Watch Review Xeric Trappist-1 Moonphase

Democrat Darling Mayor Found Robbing $33K From Taxpayers To Have Illicit Affair - Duration: 3:21.Democrat Darling Mayor Found Robbing $33K From Taxpayers To Have Illicit Affair.
We just can't go one week without learning about another dirty democrat.
I mean, seriously, the news just keeps coming!
It seems like the entire party is corrupt.
Democrats across the country are being exposed.
They are committing all sorts of atrocities.
Be it money laundering, bribery, scamming charities, or sexual harassment.
If there is something bad you can do as a politician, the Democrats are guilty of it.
So it shouldn't come as a shock that investigators were on the trail of one sick Democrat.
Looks like a Tennessee mayor was engaged in all sorts of illicit behavior.
And we're talking about really bad stuff.
Although the official denies it, law enforcement just got the evidence they needed to put the
nail in her coffin
From Tennessean: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says
it has obtained nude photos of a woman taken on the phone of former Sgt.
Rob Forrest, evidence that investigators believe shows Nashville Mayor Megan Barry engaged
in an affair with her former bodyguard while he was on duty…
The affidavit cites explicit images of a woman's body found on Forrest's phone that appear
to be taken while he was on out-of-town trips with the mayor.
In short, the article is being nice.
What this is really saying is that Mayor Barry was the nude woman in the photos.
It is becoming quite clear that she had an affair on the taxpayers' dime, and perhaps
her lover Sgt.
Forrest was holding these photos for blackmail.
Sounds a lot like a made-for-TV-movie.
Also on Forrest's phone, subpoenaed by the TBI earlier this month, investigators have
uncovered 260 deleted chats between that device and Barry's phone number as well as 35 deleted
call logs, the affidavit states…
Based on the photos and deleted chats they discovered on Forrest's phone, the TBI says
it has probable cause to seek evidence they believe could show a crime was committed.
The affidavit cites state statutes for misconduct of public officials and employees and theft
of property.
It seems like Barry admitted to having the affair, but claims no crimes were committed.
Um, lady, that's bad enough.
An elected official, entrusted with running a city, should not be jumping into bed with
one of her staff on the citizens' dime.
Evidence suggests that the guard was engaging in sexual activity while on duty.
That crosses into some muddy waters.
What else was going on that Barry tried to hide?
Shouldn't voters know that they elected a shady person into office?
Surprise, surprise, despite being exposed, she refuses to step down.
Do all Democrats have mental problems?
This woman has been outed as violating her office and marriage.
The relationship could have created a conflict of interest and misuse of public funds.
That's enough to remove someone from office
The smart thing for her to do is step down and deal with this criminal investigation.
It's time to let someone else run the city.
what do you think about this?

UNFOLDING: Trump Is DOING IT NOW!! Famous Celeb Being DEPORTED! - Duration: 5:28.UNFOLDING: Trump Is DOING IT NOW!!
Famous Celeb Being DEPORTED!
During Barack Obama's presidency, he did all he could to destroy this nation, and he
got pretty darn close to it.
Obama not only pushed back race relations decades with his manufactured race war, but
he also allowed floods of illegals to pour into our country unvetted and unchecked so
they could vote for Democrats in upcoming elections.
After years of witnessing this disgusting disregard for our nation's laws, President
Trump is in charge and working hard to fix the mess Obama allowed.
President Trump has been busy overturning Obama-era programs that benefited everyone
else in the world, but the American people.
Over this past summer, on the chopping block was the Obama-era CIA program that helped
arm rebels who were fighting the Syrian government.
Then there was the Paris Climate Accord and NAFTA that only protected foreign interests
over America, and Trump has just been in office for less than a year.
However, the most significant cut of the year was Obama's hotly contested Deferred Action
for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) that caused the left to disintegrate into hysterics.
So much so that these Democrats have shut the government down until Trump grants these
Dreamers amnesty.
Not to be deterred by the shameless blackmail from the left Trump is pressing on and is
now deporting celebrities with an illegal immigrant status sending a clear message that
he is not one to trifle with, and all we can say is hell yeah!
Over the last several years, the left has flipped the illegal immigration argument on
its head by making those that cross the border victims instead of criminals.
They have brainwashed an entire generation efficiently into believing that these illegals
have every right to be here and the American taxpayer needs to open their wallet to pay
for them.
There have been marches in the streets, violent protests, and now a government shutdown to
keep these criminals here but that has not stopped Trump from making sure those that
are here illegally go back to where they came from, and it is about time.
Two illegals that have been able to gain notoriety for their liberal activism have been detained
and are now being deported by the Trump administration after being passed over for years by ICE agents
under the Obama administration.
Here is more from Conservative Tribune:
Ravidath Ragbir and Jean Montrevil, both prominent figures within the pro-illegal immigration
group New Sanctuary Coalition of New York City, were detained and deported by Immigration
and Customs Enforcement after years of being allowed to stay in the country at the discretion
of federal officials — in spite of the fact that both had been convicted of serious crimes.
According to the New York Daily News, Ragbir was detained by ICE on Jan. 11 and informed
that his reprieve from deportation would not be extended further.
Ragbir, executive director of New Sanctuary, was checking in at the ICE office in New York
City when he was detained.
While Ragbir had immigrated to the United States legally back in 1991 from Trinidad
and Tobago, he was convicted of wire fraud in 2000, according to The New York Times.
Ragbir received a deportation order in 2006, but in 2011 ICE officials in New York City
gave him a reprieve of deportation.
That reprieve was extended last April, but ICE officials informed Ragbir that reprieve
would not be extended further.
A judge will now decide his fate.
One week later, Haitian national Jean Montrevil — a co-founder of New Sanctuary — was
deported after being taken into custody in early January.
Montrevil, who had entered the United States in 1986, had served time on a drug possession
charge and was in the process of appealing a deportation order.
According to The Intercept, Montrevil's lawyer said his client "believed that he
had reached an understanding with ICE officials."
The general consensus among members of the activist community was that these arrests
were targeted acts.
Well, of course, they feel that the acts were targeted, but that could not be further from
the truth.
In fact, these two "activists" were breaking the law by living in the country illegally
and had been passed over numerous time for deportation in the past.
This was not a vendetta against them but rather a president FINALLY enforcing our immigration
laws that have been ignored for almost a decade and more.
However, there is more to the story as there always is when you are dealing with lying
leftists.
These two illegals are not as lily white as they are trying to paint them.
Mr. Montrevil and Mr. Ragbir brought are both criminals who have served time in prison so
under our laws they get a free pass back to their home country.
According to The New York Times, Montrevil served five years in prison when he was sentenced
to 11 for drug possession, and Ragbir spent time in the pokey for embezzling $400,000.
Both of these men committed crimes and served prison sentences which should have had them
deported in the beginning, but they were lucky and flew under the radar.
Now, their luck has run out, and they are heading back to where they came from, and
if their families are upset, that is on them.

Booktube and Sustainability | Discussion [CC] - Duration: 11:56.Hi everyone!
My name is Frede and today, I've got a discussion video on a topic that's been kind of floating
around in my mind for quite a while, but I never really got around to making a video
about it.
So I just watched a video over at Harriet Rose's channel where she talks about things
she would like to see more on Booktube, and one of the things that she mentioned was people
talking about Booktube and reflecting us as some sort of a subculture.
And this video actually made me want to film this one that I'm filming right now.
Basically, I want to talk about, or even more kind of ask the question of how sustainability
in an environmental sense fits into what we do here on Booktube.
Before I start, I just want to say that I'm by no means an expert on this topic. I'm
I'm a humanities student, so I probably have a much narrower perspective than someone who
would study environmental studies for example.
But that's also kind of the point of this video, I would like us to try and have a conversation about this maybe.
Now obviously, the reason we're here is because we love books.
But I think we might want to reflect on how our passion for books impacts the environment.
Sometime last year, Ariel Bissett made a video about things you can do in your everyday life
to live a bit of a more sustainable life.
And Sanne at booksandquills has a second channel called derpinaMODE where she and her friend
talk about mostly cruelty free cosmetics, but also, I've seen them talk about upcycling
and more sustainable period products, and then also Jean at Jean Bookishthoughts made
a video at the beginning of the year where she talks about how she wants to try and avoid
plastic in her everyday life.
So the concept of sustainability does seem to be on the minds of at least some of us,
but I've never really seen anyone talk about this as it relates to books.
So that's what I would like to do today.
Another reason I'm kind of bringing this up is that at the beginning of January, a lot of
people, especially on Twitter, were like freaking out because by 2050 there might be no chocolate
anymore because of climate change.
But then no one actually seemed to be willing to do anything about that, to change their
behaviour, to try and change other people's behaviour. And then about a week later no
one was talking about it anymore.
And this actually made me quite angry, because climate change is not something that's gonna
happen at some point in the distant future, but it's happening right now as we speak.
And there is obviously nothing we can do about that as individuals, but I think there are
little things that we can do in our everyday life that can at least minimise the way that
we contribute to that.
And I think a lot of those things are talked about in the videos that I just mentioned
which will obviously also be in the description, as well as some other stuff that might be interesting.
And then the last disclaimer before I start, obviously, I'm aware of the huge amount
of privilege that comes with me being able to sit here, to complain about people who
don't change their behaviour and to be able in general to make these small decisions.
To be able to eat no meat, to be able to try and buy groceries that are not packaged in
plastic, I'm aware that I'm very privileged to be able to do so.
But I think that actually quite a lot of us on Booktube are in this privileged position.
And I think because of that we might want to try and take some responsibility for things
we do, even as it relates to our hobbies.
Also, I really don't want this video to come across as this kind of eco freak yelling
at you and telling you what to do, but I just kind of think that if we want to talk about
sustainability, our free time and our hobbies do have to do something about that and we
need to take that into consideration.
So if we look at our shelves, doesn't matter if you have 10 books on there or 100 or 1,000,
that's a lot of paper.
And obviously, that had quite the effect on the environment.
Trees were cut down, transported somewhere, turned into paper, transported somewhere,
printed with ink that had to be produced, transported somewhere, probably bound somewhere
else, transported somewhere, maybe even wrapped in like plastic, sold to you at the bookshop,
you might take it home in a bag of the bookshop.
And even if you order it online instead, it's shipped to you, like a lot of transport, a
lot of packaging.
So I think it is safe to say that the books that we have on our shelves had in some way
or another a very negative impact on the environment, and I just wonder what we can do about that.
Now the first thing that came to my mind at least was, I asked myself whether E-Readers
might be a better alternative and I did some research and in a lot of the places I looked,
people weren't quite sure either.
Because obviously, making an E-Reader also has a huge impact on the environment.
You need different materials, but it also is shipped to places.
Obviously, an E-Reader is also not like the greenest thing you can have but apparently,
if you read something between 60-100 books on your E-Reader, that is actually more sustainable
than buying 60-100 books new in a bookshop.
Now I personally don't like reading off screens, and I actually like having a book
in my hand, like an actual book reading off paper.
I'm also this kind of materialistic person who just likes owning stuff.
And I think a lot of us do.
So I'm just asking myself what else can we do to minimise our impact on the environment?
Now I have always loved secondhand books, they are much more affordable than new books,
also you can find old stuff in there which is also fun.
So I always loved secondhand books, but I think with all these things I just mentioned
kind of in the back of my mind, they even seem more appealing to me.
So they definitely seem like an option that we all might try to reach for more often than
some of us do.
Now I live in a town that actually has quite a lot of secondhand bookshops, but I know
that a lot of towns don't have that.
So again, we could ask ourselves the question: what's worse, going to a bookshop and buying
a new book or ordering a secondhand book online that might even have to be flown in and transported
to your doorstep because the seller you would buy it from is not set in your country?
I honestly don't know, but I think that's just something we might want to think more about.
It's at least something that I think a lot about.
So I really try to not order too many books online even if that might be a bit more expensive.
As I said, I'm aware of the privilege that comes with being able to say "okay I'm
willing to pay 2 or 3 euros more and not order something online."
Also I think most of us own way too many unread books anyways, so if we're looking for a
book that we would in any case order online, buy in a bookshop, try to find in a secondhand
bookshop, we might always want to ask ourselves "do I really need that?
I have a lot of unread books, I might want to read those first."
So I think the main point of this video is actually that a way for us to be more sustainable
as it relates to books is being more conscious and reflected about what we do, especially
when it comes to buying books.
For example, when it comes to classics, I would never go to a bookshop and buy a classic
for like 10 euros, 15 euros, if I could get it in a secondhand bookshop for so much less money.
And like for example, this is my copy of Wuthering Heights.
It's an ugly cover, the spine has been broken multiple times, it's coming apart, like
you can almost take the cover off.
It's not that much of a battered copy apart from that, but it is a battered copy and I
know that a lot of people on here don't like that.
We are very much obsessed with like books in this pristine condition.
And I was wondering if we might want to try and change something about that.
Because like as I said this is an ugly cover but this was already printed many, many years
before, so no tree has to be killed.
I bought this actually in a shop so it didn't have to be shipped to me.
And of course, you could get yourself a beautiful Penguin edition but the content is the same,
so you might as well pick up this one, right?
So I think in that sense, the topic of this video also kinda ties into the discussions that
have been popping up every now and again about how here on Booktube, we're very much obsessed
with owning new books, owning books that are in a perfect condition.
And how that can also be deterrent for people who cannot for some reason or another buy
that many books at the same time.
Maybe they can't, maybe they don't want to, but in any case, this focus so much on
owning and having, I guess that really ties into sustainability in that sense.
And I think it also ties into the idea that we might just want to be a bit more reflective
of our buying choices and behaviours.
I suppose after all, the best thing you can do is get your book from the library.
Now as I just said myself, I like owning books.
But I also use the library quite a lot, especially when I try out authors that I've never heard
of and I just wanna see if they're for me, the library is an amazing place.
Also obviously, you don't have to pay for the books individually.
Usually, like at least at my library you have a yearly fee which at my library is 5 euros
so I think that is definitely worth it.
And then, if you're a uni student, at least my uni also has fiction books that you can get.
So I think there are ways that we can try and get books and read them and not have to
kill trees for that.
And not have to contribute to the pollution that's being done to the air, to the water,
to the ground in any kind of ways negatively affecting the planet.
This was a bit of a rambly video I guess and I very much focused on book-buying.
You could obviously take this much further and say "well, your camera and your laptop
and if you have lights and whatever also take up electricity so hm what about that?",
but I think at some point you need to draw the line.
Like, I'm not gonna move into the woods just because I don't wanna have an impact
on the environment, because you cannot possibly live on this planet without negatively impacting it.
But I think we should try and reflect our choices and be a bit more conscious of what
we do and the impact that it has.
So that was kind of I guess the point that I was trying to make here.
Also this video obviously doesn't mean you can never buy a new book anymore, otherwise
you're a bad person.
I also buy new books.
But I think one thing that's just important is that we're aware of the impact that we
have and that if we have the opportunity to make certain decisions, that we should maybe
try and make those decisions.
So please let me know what you think about this topic.
Maybe there's something that I didn't really think of, that I didn't really touch
upon in this video.
As I said I just mostly focused on book buying because that's the biggest thing that kind
of came to my mind.
So maybe you have a broader understanding of how for example climate change works or production
of paper vs. E-Reader, I don't know.
If there's anything knowledge-wise especially, that I didn't touch upon, that maybe I do
not know myself, please, please share this knowledge with us!
Also I mean even if you're a cynic and you think we're all gonna die anyways, and the
planet is dying so we might as well just not give a shit, maybe you just really don't
give a shit about the environment.
Like, you do you.
But I would just really like to hear your thoughts and opinions, not particularly on
this video because I know it was rambly, but on this topic.
I would really like to hear what you think about this, if this is something that is on
your mind, or whether me talking about this was kinda the first time you thought "oh
well, maybe that's something I could think about."
Any kinds of thoughts about Booktube and sustainability, I would love to chat about that with you in
the comments.
Please do be kind though, even if you thought this video was shit [laughs].
But yeah so, thank you for watching this video, please talk to me in the comments, and I will
hopefully see you in my next one.
Bye!

Best Way To $100 A Day Online CPA vs CPS Affiliate Marketing - Duration: 10:15.What is going on guys my name is Anthony Villa welcoming you back to yet another
video here on the channel where today guys we're gonna be talking about cpa
marketing versus cps marketing of course these are both gonna be affiliate
marketing topics but they're definitely be differences between these two i'm
gonna cover in this video we dive into my computer and i'm sure you guys the
key differences between CPA Burgess cps I just want to say that if you guys are
brand new to my channel and this is the first time you're watching one of my
videos then please subscribe right now they're brand new videos every single
day and with that being said guys we're gonna dive into my computer right now so
I can cover some of the key differences between the two go over them both in
detail and hopefully by the end of the video you guys can know which one you
like best which one you think you might want to start doing and with that being
so let's I'm into my computer right now and start this video off
alright guys we're now in my computer as you can see on my whiteboard CPA versus
CPS marketing I got CPA on the left EPS on the right I'm gonna pull that big
box down a little bit a little explain some of the key differences some of the
key similarities between the two I'm not gonna waste any more your ass how much I
start this video off we pull the first box away in the beginning guys the first
thing I have on here it's pretty much explaining exactly what each of these
things are if you do not know yet so I got a CPA marketing or just CPA is this
equivalent it just stands for cost per action what a cost per action is and
what actually it's talking about specifically can be a lot of things
industry lead generation and underneath I put a few examples to you guys just to
give you guys a better idea of exactly what I'm talking about so the action
could be downloading an application on your phone on your computer it can be
completing a survey and signing up with your email or entering your phone number
for something else and of course there are even more action you has to do this
with I just won the list a few things you guys like a very good general idea I
have two that like I'll back over to the right side we're just gonna BCPs which
is gonna equal or it's gonna stand for cost per sale of course guys this one's
gonna be a little bit more basic British pretty much saying any time somebody
purchases a product service maybe it's a course maybe it's coaching whatever it
is it's gonna be every time a person actually makes a sale or purchases
something guys that's gonna be the very key different straight off the bat
cpa is cost per action CPS is cost per sale may be two very different things
I'm gonna pull the Box down a little bit more now and go over someone like the
actual the key differences in similarities between the tube but that
being said I'm gonna pull it down little by little something that's going on
right here guys sharing of the bat cross fraction and then see costs per sale the
very obvious thing is gonna be you're gonna earn money and you're gonna be a
paid based on that action over every time somebody actually enters their
email into an opt-in page and signs up or completes the survey that's when
you'll actually get paid whereas on the other side you're like actually be
earning based on sales you only get paid when somebody actually goes through the
entire process and ends up purchasing a product boards or service like I said
above that's gonna be the key difference between the two right there I'm gonna
pull the Box down a little bit more not waste too much time and then one of the
big differences between CPA versus CPS it's gonna be very obvious as soon as
you start one or the other but with CPA you're gonna have very significant lower
commissions whereas on the other side with cost per sale the Commission's are
gonna be a lot a lot higher and that's simply just because of the next thing
that I'm gonna go over I'm gonna pull that down which is with CPA mark and
you're gonna have a lot higher conversion rates whereas with CPS cost
per sale you're gonna have a lot lower conversion rates and the reason for that
guys is with CPA marketing and cost per action getting somebody to sign up for
like an email newsletter is getting somebody to enter their phone number in
or you just download an app it doesn't cost that person anything it's
completely free to do and because of that it's you're gonna get a lot higher
of a conversion rate whereas on with cost per sale somebody actually has to
be spending money and purchasing a product service or course or whatever in
order to attack you to actually get paid your conversion rate for cost per sale
is gonna be that much lower whereas with CPA cost per action your
conversion rate is gonna be a lot a lot higher because let's just say for
example you send like a hundred people over to an opt-in page or a landing page
or a company who's selling late to say beauty products and makeup stuff you
guys can actually get like on average all right like forty percent of people
will actually sign up into an email address and then sign up for that
particular email newsletter signup whatever it is and then every time sunny
signs up you'll get paid based on that action you guys will have like a forty
percent conversion rate let's just say they'll pay you like 50 cents every
single person you get to sign up for their email newsletter or whatever it is
you have 40 people at 50 cents that's like well like $20 I think which of
course is not bad but then we go over to CPS cost per sale whereas somebody
actually has to purchase something getting somebody actually purchased
something let's go back to the same example of using the same hundred people
the same number with cost per sale when you're actually selling up physical
purchase when you're actually selling a product or service to somebody
the conversion is gonna be a lot lower in most cases when your shirt let's just
say you're selling a product to a hundred people
realistically an optimal conversion rate or the conversion rate that you're
probably gonna get unlike average it's probably only gonna be like one to two
percent which of course is gonna be significantly lower than cpa which is
it's pretty much exactly I just explained but the thing that saves cost
per sale the reason it's still so good is because you have so much of a higher
Commission your Commission will be that much higher but when you might actually
only need to sell like one or two of these products to actually get a
commission of like 30 or $40 as commissions on affiliate products means
from like dollars all the way to like thousands of dollars depending on the
product the service or the program with that being said you guys can easily make
like a twenty dollar Commission based on just selling one product if not even
more you guys can of course make like fifty dollars per sale as a commission
which is that of course even if the offer just came running out like a 1%
rate and you only make me like one sale per hundred people you sent to that
offering if you're making $50 a commission based on that 1% sale you're
still gonna be making more than you would with CPA because of course like I
said before guys you sent a hundred people to a landing page to sign up for
an email newsletter you get 40 people they pay you 50 cents curly that's only
20 dollars whereas on the other hand with a 1 percent conversion rate and
only one out of every hundred people virtually I'll just say it's like a
hundred dollar product you get a fifty percent commission you'll don't have $50
or course guys that's one of the reasons I like CPS marketing and cost per sale a
little bit more is because of course you're gonna have significantly lower
conversion rates but your commissions are gonna be way way higher in most
cases that's not true in every single case but in my experience at least the
commissions for cost per sale are gonna be way way higher with a lot being said
I'm gonna pull the Box a little more guys alright guys now
the box one the last things I have on here is that CP a burst CPS with cost
per action networks gonna be a lot more exclusive I'm gonna top to your CP
networks can make it honestly a little bit difficult to even get in you're
gonna have to apply go through like a two or three step process just to get
approve and actually into the network I'm done require phone interviews we can
last like 10 to 15 minutes whereas with CPS networks cost for sale networks it's
gonna be a lot more open and available to pretty much everybody that's most
likely just because the CP network's want to keep their affiliates as top
tier and as high quality as possible and they want to make sure they're actually
sending high quality traffic and actual people actual traffic real visitors for
these to these leads to these offers whereas with cost per sale networks it's
a lot more open you know things like clickbank amazon associates other
networks like that are very opened it's because you're obviously gonna be
driving sales to them and for them you're gonna be earning the money
regardless they're not gonna really care whether where it comes from as long as
they're getting paid they're gonna be happier course whereas with CP networks
they need to be at least a little bit more selective with who they actually
bring in to be affiliates or their network because of course they want to
maintain and continue to be a top to network with the most high quality
affiliates possible because of course that'll get them better offers from
better companies and better your promotions but of course guys you guys
can still go either way it's not impossible to get into these cpa
networks it can be a little bit difficult sometimes I feel like a hassle
especially if you're applying for like more than one at a time you can feel
like a lot what if it isn't that bad at all
I might just be hyping it up a little bit just because I'm more of a CPS
marketer I only mess around a CPA that much I definitely have some experience
with it but my personal a personal preference is definitely gonna be with
cost per sale marketing just because I like the higher commissions lastly
though guys I'm a poll box moved out one more time it's the last thing on here
but the last thing I put down at the bottom this goes for both them of course
I put both of them are viable profitable and scalable business models of course
that's very important guys scalability is definitely something you're gonna
want to take into account when you're actually choosing a business model but
the great thing about both of these is it doesn't really matter which one you
choose they're both are very profitable both these can earn millions of dollars
a year every single year and they're both completely valid business models as
an they both work there are tons of people making these exact business
models work so at the end of the day really comes down to what you guys want
to do personally what your personal preferences I already told you guys mine
cost per sale marketing just because of the higher commissions I like that
personally but there's no reason you guys can't be CPM marketers if you
choose to be it's really up to you guys with cpa marketing you're definitely
gonna need a higher quantity of traffic than with cost personnel marketing again
just because of how much lower the Commission's are but how much higher the
conversion rates are you're gonna need to send more more quantity more people
to those leads so those offers know where to match up as in to earn about
the same of a cps marketer you might need to send like two times five maybe
and five times the amount of traffic they are but you'll definitely be
getting paid roughly the same and you can make it work but all that being said
lurgha's hopefully just give you a pretty good idea of what cpa marketing
is and what cps marketing is some of the key differences and the pros and cons of
both well all i mean some other guys i pretty much wraps up this video so if
you enjoyed definitely drop a like on it and guys definitely definitely subscribe
for brand new videos every single day and with all that stuff out of the way
hope you guys enjoy the video my name is anthony villa and i will see you in the
next one I am out peace

Is This Socially Acceptable? - Duration: 1:51.Hello.
It's Shades.
My mom thinks that some things aren't socially acceptable, but I'd beg to differ.
If someone, especially if he or she is younger than you, enthusiastically tells you something,
like a joke, or a fun fact, do you act like you don't know the answer, even if you do?
Like what if a little kid walked up to you and said, "Did you know that when people
threw tomatoes at bad actors, they used to think the tomatoes were poisonous, and they
were trying to aim it at the actor's mouth to kill him or her?"
I knew that, but do I say, "Wow, that's pretty fascinating!"?
I don't want to come off as fake or phony, and I don't know if the kid will detect
I'm lying.
Or do I just be real and say, "Yep.
Saw that on the internet."?
Whenever I'm about to leave the house in sweatpants, my mom says to change because
I shouldn't wear that in public.
But it's comfy, loose, and that's my whole wardrobe!
The only other pants I have are gym shorts from school uniforms.
People in gyms wear sweatpants.
Shoppers in Wal-Mart wear sweatpants.
So why can't I wear them to a 5 minute doctor's appointment?
Is it socially acceptable to take snacks everywhere with you?
My dad sometimes tells me to put away my popcorn because I don't want to inappropriate.
It's probably more appropriate than letting my stomach grumble loudly enough for others
to hear.
I mean, that's just awkward.
And finally, if you encounter ducks, can you quack back at them?
Or is it rude?
Is that disturbing nature?
The ducks probably think I'm insensitive.
There could've been a secret duck language, and I potentially cussed them out by accident.
This video probably is giving you the impression that I'm socially awkward, but I just never
leave my house.

How to Handstand - Handstand Series - Episode 7 (English Subtitles) - Duration: 4:34.In this video we will talk about the kick in into the Handstand
with the objective to reach the movement, without any help
To achieve that, we will work on strenght, velocity and balance
to reach the Handstand
Before trying to get into the position without any help
you should start with a wall
This will help you get more confortable with the amount of strenght and velocity that you need
so that you don't fall
Of course, in the beginning no one knows how to do it
neither the amount of intensity you need to kick into the position
but with practise you will gradually become more confortable with it
There is no magic formula that could help us with this, only practise
So, to start, put yourself facing the wall
in a distance of 2-3 hands apart from it
and then, you can progress so that you are only 1 hand apart from the wall
You can either start with your hands already on the floor
or jump into the handstand from a standing position
In this step, we sugest that you start with your hands already on the floor
because it allows you to be more stable and confident to launch into the Handstand
One more time, on the beggining you might kick in to the handstand
with to much or to little intensity
Because you are new to this move, you will not be aware of the amount of strenght you need to apply
it might even get a bit annoying or frustating
but you can never give up trying
Sometimes it might be better to pause a bit and reiniciate
so that you can process all this new information
After some time of practise
and knowing that the results take some time to appear
things will eventually start to get better
As a tip, you might probably want to learn how to fall for one of the sides
This will help you be more confortable and confident with the movement
This way, we suggest that you fall always to the side that seems more natural to you
to prevent injuries and to reduce your fear of getting into the handstand
Other option is to simply roll forward
It's a good exercise, but be carefull with the hardness of the floor
Now, we will want to get off the wall
One more time, to get better you need to keep practising frequently
After beginning on the wall, this should be easier
But you still need to be careful, mainly on your first attempts
Also, make sure to remember the tip that we gave earlier
One more time, you can either start with your hands on the floor, or from a standing position
But we still recommend to start with your hands on the floor
You can also try to jump to the handstand with your legs togheter
straddle legs, one leg at a time, in a tucked position
and see which variation works better for you
You should also try to kick into the handstand with one leg at a time
alternating from the left to the right leg each time
or with both legs at the same time
Straddle legs
Just one leg
This way, we finish our preparation for the Handstand
with strenght and balance exercises that you should try and keep practising
because it will certainly help you achieve the Handstand that you want so badly
Also, remember to be careful with your joints, mainly your wrists and shoulders

POWER F1, A NOT THAT POWERFUL F1 GAME FROM EIDOS (1997 - PC). - Duration: 7:53.Today's video is about Power F1
That game is not well-known among racing gamers
consumers in PC games in the 90s
but it was released by Eidos Interactive in 1997
to unseat Grand Prix 2, a reference in Formula 1
simulators back then
a huge success released a year before.
A golden age
when ANYONE could have a licence to develop a game
about the main motorsport category.
The main difference is this game replicates
1995 season's cars and tracks
against 1994 Formula 1 season
While you're on driver selection menu in Power F1
there is a opportunity to look at 3D cars, spinning in
a frenetic way, not giving enough time to enjoy
this game 3D models
It may be also something from DOS emulator
Anyways, it could be more complex than only helmet's
photos as seen in Grand Prix 2
Customizing drivers and teams's names
is also present on Power F1
If you just glance at graphics aspects only
you may misjudge this game with
Microprose's Grand Prix franchise
Tracks layout in the only positive feature graphically
They seem very detailed
respecting all original sponsors at the time
I couldn't only understand in Adelaide track why
the outside asphalt run-off area had been programmed as gravel
Look at the car kicking up dust when I go over it
That not happens in Grand Prix 2
Asphalts is Alphalt even in run-off areas
Dusty Adelaide is also found on Playstation's Formula 1 game
released in same year
However there are lot of gravel particles on track
as if a street sewage construction had been finished in a reckless way
I still don't get the choice of F1 game design department sometimes
It just needs to replicate EXACTLY
the track as seen on TV!!
As seen on Grand Prix 2, Power F1 also has
low resolution VGA mode and the ultra
blaster high def
SVGA mode
In Geoff Crammond game, I could tell them apart
on texture quality and resolution
However on Eidos's game the difference is more noticeable
In low res mode, car's steering wheel is turning
at a cost of lower gaming performance
It seems like running at 5 FPS
Switching to high res mode
wheel's turning animation is gone
however graphics are sharper and gaming is more fluid with higher framerate
In outside camera, all information that simulates GC
shown on F1 broadcasting in the 90s
with gray transparent background
is gone in high def mode
while it remains on low res mode
By the way, this visual aspect closer
to what it's seen on TV is another feature power F1 overcame Grand Prix 2
Besides, you could watch your mechanical sprite animation
while in pits and not being limited to cockpit's camera
You could also control replays with a menu at the bottom
something GP2 could do in
a more primitive way
On the other hand, car dimmension is odd
It seems narrower compared to track dimensions
Both games shows animations
when you achieve certain positions in a race and in menus
The fact that it's been made in a mediocre 3D
in today's standards is another feature that cought my eyes
including this upbeating songs sometimes glitched by Dosbox
If graphically Power F1 and Grand Prix 2
could be neck and neck, in terms of gameplay and physhics
he's knocked out by his opponent
If there is some physics in this game
Car's damage is odd.
When you were hit by another car, it rises like a dog peeing
on a hydrant, that's when my opponent won't stopping spinning
[REFERENCE TO A BRAZILIAN SHOW SPINNING A ROULETTE TO WIN PRIZES]
Gameplay is toward arcade style
A fact seen on car's setup as it's not as deep
as on Grand Prix 2
where you could adjust anti-roll bars and suspension
incredible in 1996
pointing out potential players
which Geoff Crammond was aiming to
Wheels don't turn and even try to simulate
they're spinning in high speed
something GP2 attempts to do
Whichever difficult level I was playing on
my competitors were taxiing like a plane
showing how slow they were
Noticeable even on hard level
Not to mention, startings are always chaotic
and I were able to glitch my game
when I reversed to pitlane as I realized my car were damaged
I went to a infinite green space
and the race was over
It lacks some special attention to artificial intelligence
something GP2 crushed.
Even though I praised animation's soundtrack
in-racing, sound effects are awful.
In camera's track, the sound is faded out abruptly
as furthest my car goes away from the camera
and I could hear my car going over the kerb
even without touching it.
[CAR GOING OVER KERBS SOUND EFFECT]
Bizarre!
About game modes, besides championship
and weekend-race mode, there is also shootout mode
which is a season and in order to make progress
you're to finish in a minimum place
or you'd be hanged out in a public square
and there is also 2 player mode
where you could race against all 24 cars on the grid
something current games are not making any effort to provide us anymore
which is impressive as gaming machines
back then were just 486
[Advertising] - 486 PC is as fast as a Formula 1 car.
Unfortunately I don't have enough cognitive skills
to control both cars simultaneously
On Grand Prix franchise, 2 players mode acts like
intercalating selected drivers during the race
so it's not considered actually as 2 players mode
At last, the rain
While this feature couldn't be developed on Microprose's game on time
this feature here is poorly done
It only changes sky's background
I miss water drops and particles rising up of the cars
Really, Eidos?
Even Nigel Mansell F1 , a SNES game, was só sloppy
There were some water drops at least
But Flagamer, it's a 1995 game
let's forgive this aspect
Dear viewer
so watch this World Circuit gameplay
released some years before this game
It was archaic
but better than this
Power F1 tried to be a competitor against so acclaimed
Grand Prix franchise in his age
but this video showed in a clear way
that Power F1 couldn't even tickle Grand Prix 2's pits
It's a fact that Grand Prix 2 is highly recognized
and his magnitude is spread all over SimRacing industry
still creating mods twenty years after its release
while Power F1
which is not that powerful
was just a mediocre game with few
contents available on this precious Google video website
Hello guys, I'm Rodrigo Veiga from Rio de Janeiro
I suggest you to subscribe, like and share Flagamer's content
which is a high quality content and production
See you then
