welcome to mechanic Monday, today I'm going to show you how you can fix parts
in your car instead of just replacing them, now as you can see here, this part
of this valve is broken off the plastics cracked, this particular part cost an awful
lot of money, because it's computer-controlled vacuum solenoid, and
do to the overuse of plastic parts in cars these days, a lot of times when you're
working on a car, especially an older one, when you're moving stuff around you're
going to break a lot of that plastic stuff, but you can repair it rather than just
replace it, I use jb weld quick tube epoxy, now I'm sure there's a lot of
them out there that work, but when I find something that works I stick with it,
heck I've been married to the same woman for the last 40 years, now I use the jb weld
quick, because it sets up in five to ten minutes, now you still want to wait 12
hours for it to cure, but since it sets fast it won't come apart while it's
fully curing, now here's a trick I learned years ago, get a little piece of
tubing that fits inside where it's broken and you can slide that inside
like that, then you can epoxy it in place, so it won't leak and then the hose can
go back over the top of it when you're done and it will seal it perfectly
now the jb weld is easy to use, just get a piece of cardboard out of your
recycling bin, then make a line of the jb weld quick sealer and an equivalent line
of the hardener, then stir it all up so it's mixed,
then put some around a little tube you have and stick it inside, you can see
it's all filled in now and in 5-10 minutes it will be dry enough that you can put
it back together on the car, but like I said earlier, if it's any kind of a
high-pressure situation, you really want to let it sit for about 12 hours so it
fully cures, so the pressure won't bother anything, then you might asked how strong
is this JB well quick, well believe it or not, years ago I had a customer with a
Volvo and they had a little crack on their head of their engine, so I thought
oh what the heck, I drilled the hole out, make it bigger and round, then I put jb
weld and a screw in there and three years later they were still driving the
car, it actually fixed the engine, and remember since this is mechanic Monday
I'm giving away some of this jb weld quick, to get a chance to win, just post a

Today I am going talking about Case Reports in scholarly publishing.
A Case Report is most closely associated with medical publishing.
It is a detailed report of the signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, and the follow-up
of an individual patient or sometimes patients.
Case Reports normally describe an unusual occurrence in medicine.
Some Case Reports may also review the literature associated with the disease state or particular
circumstance.
There are many types of Case Reports.
Some of them are: an unexpected connection between a disease or symptom, an unexpected
turn of events in the course of treating a patient, a unique aspect of a disease, a unique
approach to treatment, and many others.
Case Reports do have play a role in evidence-based medicine.
They have helped the with recognition of new diseases and adverse effects of treatments.
They can also help understand the spectrum of rare diseases and the unusual presentations
of common diseases.
Case Reports can also play a role in medical education, particularly with case-based learning.
In the hierarchy of scholarly publishing, Case Reports are seen as having lesser value
then original research because they are anecdotal in nature.
Many journals have rethought Case Reports for this very reason.
Case Reports can affect Impact Factor, leading to the further restriction of them among some
journals.
Some journals have stopped accepting them; others have moved them online only; others
have made separate publications.
Some Case Report publications have embraced Open Access as the way to ensure a continuing
avenue for publication for this format.
Some of the largest publishers, Oxford, Sage, Wiley, BMJ, offer publication opportunities
for Case Reports, either for Open Access or the traditional model.
I am sure the Case Report format will continue to be a valued educational format in scholarly
publishing.

Renting vs Buying a Home | Should I rent or buy a house as an investor? - Duration: 6:39.
So today I'm answering the question, should you rent or should you
buy if you're in landlord? Quick answer, yes! That's my answer, yes to both.
But if we're gonna go dive in and share why I think you should rent or why I
think you should buy. It depends on where you live. So what do I mean by that?
There are places we're buying a property doesn't make sense to pay the mortgage
that takes in the insurance and it's just too expensive for you to buy. So you
could save a lot of money by renting. I remember listening to Grant Cardone
for some of you who know him, he says that he never buys he owns multiple
thousands and thousands of properties and he says he never buys his property
he rents because he likes to live in executive places and in exclusive places
and nice places like New York, LA or Vancouver. In my situation let's just
say you live in a place like LA, Vancouver or... I don't think Johannesburg
is that expensive but Paris or London. It does not make sense for you to
buy a property for two million dollars and spend two million dollars and your
mortgage will be like maybe fifteen thousand dollars yet you could rent
something for cheaper. Because usually those properties don't cash flow, so it
just, it just doesn't make sense for you to rent an expensive property and to buy
sorry, but it doesn't make sense for you to buy a property which has two million
and you can take that two million and invest it into ten properties in a
cheaper area and just rent for cheaper and painless. Does it make sense? I hope
it makes sense when I'm saying that. So if you live in a place like Vancouver
for example or London or LA or New York, it just doesn't make sense to buy but if
that's your passion to just buy and own a property for 40 million, I know
somebody who bought a property for 40 million in New York and it's just an
a pent house, a condo. If it makes sense for you then it's okay but
it just doesn't make sense for me to take 8 million which is 20% of 4 million
and buy a property which I'm gonna live in. I'd rather take that 8 million invest
in multiple properties in places where the rate is lower use that money I am
getting from my rent and try and and pay, use the cash from getting for my rent
and pay for my rent wherever I am or whether its New York or wherever I am and
pay for rent. However, if you live in a place let's just say like Edmonton or
Johannesburg or a cheaper place Michigan, Chicago you know something cheaper, it
makes sense because really your mortgage is probably going to be equivalent to
your rent or even less. I'll give you an example like the place I used to own the
one I just moved from, my mortgage in that place was only about $2,100 but I
could have rented my house, if I had thought of renting my house I could have
rented it for $3,000 maybe $3,500 so it would not have made sense for me to rent
a house for $3,500 when I could pay a mortgage for $2,100 does it make
sense? Yeah, so sometimes it just doesn't make sense for you to be a renter but
there are cases where it just makes total sense, you don't have to buy your own
property even if you're a real estate investor and I'm saying this because
some people just feel like they have to buy a property and live in it. Just look
at the expenses you going to spend by renting. I remember my first property
actually I ever bought. I never moved into it, I was renting somewhere and I was paying
$1,200 a condo and my mortgage for that property which I'd put was 1,600 dollars
that didn't include taxes it didn't include condo fees because it was
a townhouse, it just didn't make sense for me to leave my
$1200 beautiful comfortable condo and move into a $2,000
place and spend $800 extra. At that time I was new in my investing and $800 was a
lot of money and I needed that extra money to invest more. I
used to buy properties and just keep renting them out and keep renting them
out, that's kind of how I got ahead and people always ask me how did you get
ahead so fast? It's because I never moved into a mansion, I always bought
properties and rented them out and continued to stay in a condo until I
got to a stage where I was comfortable and I was able to quit my job that's
when I finally managed to buy a bigger place which I realized I
didn't even like living in. Having said that, so look at your situation
does it make sense for you to go pay a mortgage for $3,000 when you can
go and pay rent for $1,000 and I know there's this argument that oh, but
there's mortgage pay down. Let me just be honest with you right there. If your
expenses in terms of owning a property are double or three times what you'll pay
in rent, your mortgage pay down won't make a difference. Because a mortgage
paid out depending on your interest rate is not a lot of money. In a $500,000
property in Canada a mortgage pay down per year is eleven thousand. So if I am
thinking, okay, so but I'm paying down mortgage for eleven thousand yet you are
spending twenty five thousand a year
just by owning that property, it doesn't
make sense. If you are in a state where they allow you to write off taxes
because you own a property then it makes sense. But you have to look at that
difference to think, does it really make sense for me to rent or does it really
make sense for me to buy? You always have to have an investment property, I
always encourage you to do that just because I said it doesn't make sense to
rent doesn't mean you shouldn't have an investment property. That's a very
important thing to always have because that's your retirement right there and
there is also as I said mortgage pay down, there is interest, of course you have
to pay interest rates but there's also appreciation. But you never buy for
appreciation, never buy for capital gains. Because if it doesn't go up if that
property does not go up, you're gonna be stuck with it forever. That is my
opinion on if you should rent or you should buy. Thank you very much for your

Hey yo, what's going on, my name is Edward Farrell
and today is day 18
of our journey. We're almost in the end
WOW! This is going great
I'm so happy that we're almost done with our objective
To be honest I just can't wait to finish because
we have some nice desert at home
And I wasn't a part of it
but yea, this is the biggest struggle because as I was saying from few episodes
that you just get used to it and there is absolutely no difference
between like today and day before yesterday in terms of how hard it is
so yea, that it is from the feeling and struggles
and from some positive message I just thought that I would share something that I do everyday
because, basically what helps me to achieve my goal is gratitude
and what I do every day. I started doing this few days ago
but every day I do a little meditation
you don't need to meditate of course but
I am basically thankful and grateful for, for the things that happened to me and
and that just puts you in a very good vibration
you know and it is a really small thing and it's very easy to do
but it have like unbelievable result
in terms of your entire day
if you just say. Hey, I'm grateful for that, that I am healthy, that I can walk
or for some situation in your life
this can just bring up your day to a whole another level
and that's pretty much what's happening with me
I'm self-educated and I study every day and
whenever I first do this little gratitude exercise
I feel way better while studying and I study way more effectively
and the rest of the day is kind of like domino effect
from it whenever you feel grateful for something
I also read from book the secret
and there was like a really cool patent when the guy was
always having a stone in his pocket, a normal stone
and whenever he touched it, he just think of something he was grateful for
and this was really cool thing and really amazing
but the message for today is just think about something you are grateful for and
if you do it daily. It has just, just huge power
and if you're willing to try to do this simple thing
like, like every morning you wake up think about 3 things you are grateful for
not just to randomly say 3 things but to be engaged with this and
feel the actually feeling of being grateful
then I highly encourage you to try because it is really amazing
what it can do through the course of the day
or through the course of the week

Shuri & Black Panther, Star Trek, and Eleven Cross-Stitch updates - Duration: 4:14.
What I figured I could start doing is providing a more regular update on some
of the cross-stitch pieces that I'm doing. Since my last update
I've probably completed three or four different pieces. When I started cross
stitching I didn't know that I'd be doing a piece every day or two but the
obsession has come on pretty hard and so I definitely have been. And to recap I
kind of started this as an idea as a look I've seen a lot of cool cross
stitch pieces I want these in my home so I'm just gonna start making them for
myself. And then I realized that if I made all these cool and for myself I
would fill my house in about three weeks. So I have started reaching out to some
really cool people in my life and saying hey I would love to make you a cross
stitch piece. And I've also started just putting together some pieces that I
think would look really cool and then I'm just running contests based on
giveaways. So one that I ran that you'll see was an 11 cross stitch that
people could enter by donating to march for our lives. So this is another
thing that I'll probably continue doing just as I see a cool patterns I'll start
putting together these pieces and just giving them away on Instagram if you
want to follow me on Instagram I'm at everydaygirldad. So I'm gonna go
over just a few of the ones that I've done recently. This one is for someone
very special in my life. The person I'm married to my best friend
Andrea. So there you go
So we had Janeway and Ryker and Wesley. She's a big Star Trek fan so these
are three of her favorite people from Star Trek so I put them all together
realizing that they're not all from the same generation. Here we go this is 11
we all recognize 11. So 11 is the piece that I gave away as part of that March
for our lives donation. This one is just one that I really like I love 11 I love
stranger things this little 11 with the blood drops
was actually Leah's idea. She's 8 years old and it's already a creative genius.
So here's another one that I've done recently. And this is another one that
I'm super proud of because not only did I not expect to be putting together so
many of these pieces but I certainly never expected to be designing patterns
on my ow. What I've been doing so far it's just purchasing patterns
from shops like wee little stitches that have some really cool pixel of people
patterns of subjects that I have really wanted to make. One thing I noticed
though when I was searching that was a big lack of Black Panther figures. A lot
of the superheroes that I see are white superheroes or alien so they're green or
they're from outer space. I think we need better representation and we recently
watched Black Panther and so I created my own patterns. So here's Black Panther
here's Shuri. These are the first two I will share more once I get to next
week's sharing because I've created a few more patterns from Black Panther as
well that I'm gonna share with you but not until I've put the stitching on. So if

that I've done like this one but I also have the patterns that I've done. I'm not
trying to sell these I want people making as many of these as

300 BENCH PRESS EPIC FAIL?? - Duration: 9:47.
yeah some people um hope this mic isn't too loud but all right so I got my 300
benchpress and I want to go through the steps so I've been working on pretty
much just strength trying to get this just this strength up so I can get this
315 benchpress so I'm not doing a whole bunch of reps so I don't even start
putting the camera on until I get to 275 I don't really recorder my warm-ups and
I don't record on 185 so that's just what I'm doing um just just just not
getting not doing a lot of reps because I want to gauge what my strength is and
then I just move up so I'm not on any particular type of program I'm just
doing me it's just I'm just going by what I feel no technical stuff I'm just
lifting working and doing my body allows me to do depending on how I feel that
day you might see me shaking my wrist out my left wrist up and having problems
with my left wrist it's been hurting a lot especially when I bench lately I'm
not sure what I did to it but it's not it hinders me a little bit because it's
there and it's obviously issue but it's not stopping me from lifting the weight
luckily so for now it's annoying but it's not an issue but I need that to go
away but here you see 275 2 reps this was the first set just trying to see you
know just trying to see what I feel normally um I get that first one I'll
get maybe one or two reps sometimes I'll do three so I got the two reps the first
time it lets me know okay I'm feeling pretty good then I moved on to the
second set I got three reps and then that told me okay I'm feeling pretty
strong let's move up I don't need to do any more let's go to 295 I did three
consecutive 295 sets one rep apiece on the first one obviously it's just to
see if I got it see how easily it goes up see how it feels
the second one is okay let's let's get the body used to the weight let's do it
again then the third one for me is okay let's
let's let's let's do it one more time because it felt good
let's see if I can get two reps so I got to 300 and I got one rep it felt great
felt you know pretty easy no issues so and I say okay let me let me let me try
it again but by this time I'm starting to feel taxed a little bit so the second
one goes up and oh that was almost a problem but I don't know what the hell
happened but that could have turned out bad but you know I fixed it and
rectified the situation and still got it up and to me that shows me afterwards I
looked back at the footage and I said you know what if I if I did all of that
that means it wasn't that heavy because if I would have lost balance like that
with weight that was too heavy it would have been a disaster so I find ways to
look at everything and find the positives in it you know I lost balance
or whatever that was that's terrible but I fixed it
still got the weight up didn't fall didn't crash didn't burn and the set
still went up pretty easy to the rep so I take that as a positive I'm getting
strong I'm feeling good you know minor minor mind a little little hitch but no
big deal I finished off my my bench session with 225 and I just wrecked out
for 11 reps I tell you guys a lot if you're struggling on a certain weight
now I wasn't struggling at 225 but when I was struggling a few weeks ago at that
weight what I would do is I would go up to 235 275 do a few reps of that you
know maybe made a few sets maybe maybe you know three sets maybe one or two
reps and then when you drop back down you know your body is accustom now set
is stronger weight so when you move that back down to the to the lighter weight
you can get more reps it feels a lot lighter so that's a little trick I think
I said that in the last video also but for anybody doesn't know if you're
struggling with a weight and it may sound crazy
you know when you're doing it because you're saying yourself wait a minute I'm
struggling with this wait why would I move up and try to lift something
heavier when I'm struggling with this but try it if you especially if you have
a spotter but um it just gets your nervous system in your body it just gets
in tune with that extra weight now I I'm not saying don't move up super heavy and
don't try to bust out a ton of reps just do you know two to three reps maybe um
you know it depends on you um but definitely try that out if you're
struggling with a certain weight like when I was when I was struggling with
225 like I said I will move up a little bit when I was even struggling with when
it 185 I will move up to 225 and it's just it's
just a little trick and it works so you know just do it safely but you know it's
it works so cuz honestly on a normal set when I when I'm just saying my working
molds um especially now that I'm still working myself back to where I was I
wouldn't normally get eleven reps um at 225 I would when I was really in my
groove I was doing that but now it's not normal for me to get eleven reps but
after lifting all that heavy weight and then going on my last set now I can bust
out eleven reps on the on the last set it's kind of it's crazy it don't make
sense but it's the thing and it's a real thing so um that's pretty much it I want
to tell you guys I was debating if I was gonna put this in there um this session
was my was actually from a week maybe a week and a half ago I didn't get a
chance to upload this footage yet so I'm just doing this now my last benchpress
section I actually hit 315 now the thing is I did not record it and at the time
my calculation was off so I didn't even realize I thought I was actually at 310
and then when I did the math later and I was thinking I'm like damn that was that
was 315 so technically I got my 315 goal but because I didn't realize I did it in
the moment because I didn't record it it doesn't count yet
so psychologically I'm telling myself okay I know I can do it because I've
done it the weight isn't heavy but technically didn't happen yet so you
know it still isn't stamped until you know I do it but it's gonna happen but
it's funny because honestly in my mind I'm not looking at it as a I'm not I'm
not looking at as reaching my goal or a success because like I said I didn't
record it and I didn't even know I did it at the time so psychologically I'm
like alright you did it you know you can do it it's nothing we're gonna get there
don't worry about it but I still have something that to work for I still have
something to prove I still have something to you know and then once I
get that you know that one rep that's just one rep my goal is to be able to
rep that out and do it consistently so there's still other levels it's not just
about oh I got a rep or I got two reps on on on 350 no the goal is to be able
to consistently work at that at that that that weight so you know there's
always goals as always you know different levels so that's I just messed
this up so that's just what it is so we're working um that's just sit out the
world you know I'm working on I'm still doing my other routines I'm not really
recording a lot of stuff I'm just in there working right now but I'm just
trying to make sure I get my benchpress stuff because this is something I'm
really trying to track right now um but that's it I'm gonna actually get to the
gym now today's for Friday I'm gonna actually hit legs hopefully I can get
this video up today or tomorrow on Saturday but that's what it is thanks

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.
Today I am going talking about Case Reports in scholarly publishing.
A Case Report is most closely associated with medical publishing.
It is a detailed report of the signs and symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, and the follow-up
of an individual patient or sometimes patients.
Case Reports normally describe an unusual occurrence in medicine.
Some Case Reports may also review the literature associated with the disease state or particular
circumstance.
There are many types of Case Reports.
Some of them are: an unexpected connection between a disease or symptom, an unexpected
turn of events in the course of treating a patient, a unique aspect of a disease, a unique
approach to treatment, and many others.
Case Reports do have play a role in evidence-based medicine.
They have helped the with recognition of new diseases and adverse effects of treatments.
They can also help understand the spectrum of rare diseases and the unusual presentations
of common diseases.
Case Reports can also play a role in medical education, particularly with case-based learning.
In the hierarchy of scholarly publishing, Case Reports are seen as having lesser value
then original research because they are anecdotal in nature.
Many journals have rethought Case Reports for this very reason.
Case Reports can affect Impact Factor, leading to the further restriction of them among some
journals.
Some journals have stopped accepting them; others have moved them online only; others
have made separate publications.
Some Case Report publications have embraced Open Access as the way to ensure a continuing
avenue for publication for this format.
Some of the largest publishers, Oxford, Sage, Wiley, BMJ, offer publication opportunities
for Case Reports, either for Open Access or the traditional model.
I am sure the Case Report format will continue to be a valued educational format in scholarly
publishing.

Hi. I'm Sami. From Fawzi academy. In this video, I will talk about. How to reset AutoCAD to defaults.
Each user account on a system, has its own AutoCAD settings.Resetting to defaults, only affects the currently active user account.
To reset in a different account, you must first log in as that user.The reset utility gives you the option to back up your settings first.
Once the reset is complete. AutoCAD automatically opens and initiates a secondary installer.
Start menu .All Programs. Autodesk. AutoCAD 201x. Reset Settings to Default. If the reset utility fails to work.
Manually resetting AutoCAD. Involves deleting two folders. and a registry path. Here are the steps.
Exit out of AutoCAD. If available, export your current settings to save them as a back-up.
Do this by going to start. All Programs. Autodesk .AutoCAD 20xx .Migrate Custom Settings .Export AutoCAD 20xx Settings.
If there is no export utility, manually save a copy of the folders mentioned below. Delete the following folders.
For Windows Vista and newer. C\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx.
C\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\AutoCAD20xx.
Press WINDOWS-R on the keyboard, to bring up the Run window, enter REGEDIT and click OK.
Delete the following registry key (to manually save a backup, right-click > Export):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\Rxx.x\ACAD-xxxx:40x Launch AutoCAD 20xx to have it rebuild its settings files.

How to Fix Car Parts Instead of Buying New Ones (JB Weld) - Duration: 3:06.rev up your engines!
welcome to mechanic Monday, today I'm going to show you how you can fix parts
in your car instead of just replacing them, now as you can see here, this part
of this valve is broken off the plastics cracked, this particular part cost an awful
lot of money, because it's computer-controlled vacuum solenoid, and
do to the overuse of plastic parts in cars these days, a lot of times when you're
working on a car, especially an older one, when you're moving stuff around you're
going to break a lot of that plastic stuff, but you can repair it rather than just
replace it, I use jb weld quick tube epoxy, now I'm sure there's a lot of
them out there that work, but when I find something that works I stick with it,
heck I've been married to the same woman for the last 40 years, now I use the jb weld
quick, because it sets up in five to ten minutes, now you still want to wait 12
hours for it to cure, but since it sets fast it won't come apart while it's
fully curing, now here's a trick I learned years ago, get a little piece of
tubing that fits inside where it's broken and you can slide that inside
like that, then you can epoxy it in place, so it won't leak and then the hose can
go back over the top of it when you're done and it will seal it perfectly
now the jb weld is easy to use, just get a piece of cardboard out of your
recycling bin, then make a line of the jb weld quick sealer and an equivalent line
of the hardener, then stir it all up so it's mixed,
then put some around a little tube you have and stick it inside, you can see
it's all filled in now and in 5-10 minutes it will be dry enough that you can put
it back together on the car, but like I said earlier, if it's any kind of a
high-pressure situation, you really want to let it sit for about 12 hours so it
fully cures, so the pressure won't bother anything, then you might asked how strong
is this JB well quick, well believe it or not, years ago I had a customer with a
Volvo and they had a little crack on their head of their engine, so I thought
oh what the heck, I drilled the hole out, make it bigger and round, then I put jb
weld and a screw in there and three years later they were still driving the
car, it actually fixed the engine, and remember since this is mechanic Monday
I'm giving away some of this jb weld quick, to get a chance to win, just post a
