hello everyone this is the Lego Marvel Super Heroes Thanos ultimate battle set
and as always movie related sets are allowable to have some movie related
spoilers so make your choices on what videos to watch appropriately and please
be sure to check out the pinned comment on this video that a pinned comment
before you comment yourself so this is the third ravager em ship that Lego has
made to go with minifigs and it's the third design it's completely different
design from the last one as far as how its built and definitely a completely
different design from the first each has had its own thing going for it this one
has a nice broad wingspan I think it's one of the more elegant of the three I'm
not sure if it quite beats the first one but the first one you know had the most
pieces and the largest size and the most bulk overall but I think this looks
really nice on display it does have a lot of studs visible and also some anti
studs showing the undersides of things but I think it looks better in person
than it does on camera to be honest I think it looks really good some things
that are unique to this one in terms of how it's built include the dihedral with
the wings they're actually angled up just slightly from the horizontal plane
which is a nice thing and it works well if you kind of bring the go wing thing
into it you can change the angles if a lot of these winglets as usual this goes
up and down this goes up and down these go in and out these go up in town these
go up and down you know kind of the usual fare the usual stuff that you
would expect here these anti studs on the insides of these vertical fins don't
look all that great to me but I'm glad that they have the nice thinness to them
makes everything look a little bit sharper than if they had tried to bulk
it up and cover everything up with tiles and you know they don't have Dayak well
they don't have many diagonal tiles that would really help to smooth things over
so I'm actually quite a fan of this design to be honest with you it has just
a couple of stud shooters one on top of either wing surprise it in put more in
it then uses the same canopy piece printed
canopy piece as the last one that they did but here this is angled forward much
more so that's a good thing I think does not hold for people inside of that
canopy area though instead it holds just too but this is a little removable
scooter thing that you can pull out you just grab that and pull it out and then
that's able to to fly around or scoot around you know use it as a small
speeder and it's able to hold on to all the accessories you need for both of
those many things nice to have a little deployable thing they have a pretty
nicely shaped space there to imagine the figures getting back into the inner
passenger compartment and the rear also opens up pretty nicely and to get better
access you can take off the top so that all opens up that's good it's just a
single sticker on either side there's one there and there's one there no tape
deck in this one unfortunately get a couple more seats though you can put a
couple more people back there plus you have space for some cargo and I'll show
you what the cargo can be just a little bit later on yeah this is nice that
again it's just a single piece with a single you know thickness of in this
case a tile I was like these were just a single plate and it works well gives you
a nice smooth space there interestingly this is very flat on the back because it
was designed to have another set actually get attached to it these flaps
come down to close up that space the back of the box gives you a preview man
once I review this set I will show you the two together in person as well looks
like they go together pretty nicely and it'll make the whole thing look a little
bit more aerodynamic and complete rather than just ending with that flat plane
here's a look at the ship from a lower angle just to help you to get a little
bit better understanding of how it appears from some different
views so they did actually build it up around the side a bit and close that up
around the fuselage so it doesn't look too blocky and incomplete there it's
really just the back that looks particularly flat and again that's
because of the docking that's available it's a pretty large unit it gets
attached to it so they needed some space for that I think it works looks a lot
better once you put that on there but this is not bad just has that at one
angle that's not as good as the rest for sure
of course Thanos himself and the Infinity Gauntlet are two other major
draws and selling points for this set I think that uh looks okay I I personally
am still not a major fan of big figs I think that Lego has done a handful of
pretty good big figs but this one is just kind of kind of normal you know it
doesn't really stand out in in its overall quality of course it just has
the regular articulation of the arms that can be moved up and down
individually and the hand can be rotated around and he has his sword wielded at
the moment no ability to move the legs or to move the head the quality of the
printing on the figure I think is pretty good there's nothing to be seen around
the back as usual but you do get the stand for the
Infinity Gauntlet and the gauntlet itself looks pretty good obviously you
can plug in each of the stones or gems and this set comes with the reality
stone and in fact as with the other infinity war sets they give you a sprue
of four of those so if you lose one you still have three more you can go through
that process of losing them a number of times and still not be out of look out
of luck and you can pull this off and put it directly on him I have to say
that is a better look for a sure you know takes away some of the plainness
and sameness of of the big fakes you know this makes it definitely a lot more
prestigious looking and more unique to have that different handpiece there and
I think that's done pretty decently well it's not able to hold things quite as
much but that makes sense and you know rotating this around does make it look
like a like a proper fist I guess that side isn't the best looking
right there with the open space there maybe they could have closed that up a
bit better but overall I think they did a pretty good job here like the depth
behind it and I look forward to after I go through and review all of the
Infinity Ward sets look for - going ahead and putting all the stones in this
and seeing how that looks here's another Iron Man mark 48 the
figure is not exclusive to this set but all the extra boosters attached to him
are specifically with the sticker sheet that makes that specific to this set the
parts themselves I think are not unique in any way but that's a pretty good
build you know it scales really well all the booster elements I think scale
really well - a Lego minifigs way that they're proportioned you can change the
angles of these a bit because they are attached to the exact same back back
piece that they used for the iron spider they've got some bars and this can be
angled in and out and you can change around the kind of blast pieces so they
give you a full set of the blast and splat pieces I'll show you the rest of
them as well but I think it's a pretty good looking thing we need to look at
just the figure up close though hmm maybe he doesn't want to be seen up
close that's just a little combination that they suggest for one of the blast
pieces and one of the splat pieces to connect them together to show some
firepower coming off one of the hands and then they give you a couple they
give you a couple of sets of these and then a couple of these smaller ones as
well just the the full set of all the pieces that they introduced just last
year for those types of comic elements and again otherwise this is the exact
same iron and figure that's in the sanctum
sanctorum set still a really good-looking one I think this one's not
printed quite as well as the last one I got around the base of the mouth with
the gold but the eyes look pretty good and those eyes look really great from a
distance even it's a testament to good design in my opinion and it has good
torso printing around the back it has the two-faced prints so this one shows
all the heads-up display stuff I still think that looks a little bit too pale
there could have gone with a darker base color maybe you know that's really the
way you want to see it right there and I think you needed to have just some
some darkness around you know that the shadows around the edges but this is how
they did it I'm okay with it I understand why they
did it and I do appreciate an attempt to make things pop with the the colors in
detail and there's just his standard expression and then rounding things out
here are star-lord and Gamora and I think between the two of these Gamora
is the star as a figure I like the printing on the face and I like the hair
and I think the torso is is decent not a highlight of the set
I think the legs are kind of the low point of that figure just because the
print is not done all that well on this one
it's a little bit a little bit thin and then star-lords torso print is actually
done pretty well standard face for him prints around the backs look about as
good as the front and there are their alternate faces just a little bit off of
Gamora there you go I figure a lot of folks will want to buy
this for Thanos and the gauntlet and if you already have one of the em ships you
may be a little bit annoyed ultimately kind of having to buy another one unless
you're gonna wait and buy just the figures at a big markup on the after
market if you have the second M ship that they did this is definitely a
better one you will like this much more you know repurpose one of them have them
battle against each other or together or something and have this one be the
disappear because you'll see in person it's just a
much more majestic thing Iron Man with all the boosters pretty cool
good Gamora star-lord is star-lord you know you star Lord overall I think
it's a decent set I think that'll be better with the combination I think I
would I would feel better about it if they hadn't just recently done an EM
ship that in my opinion was not as good as this one and I wish that Thanos was
more more detailed more something just he needs more in my opinion he sees not
special enough to me the gauntlet is good and the Infinity stone system that
came up with is good I look forward to filling that up but just the figure
itself for something that's so valuable and that like I said drive so much of
the the volume of sales of this set I wish that he was a little bit better so
those are my thoughts on the set and most importantly I have shown the thing
to you so you can make your own determination whether you think it's
worth it or not what you think of the set on the whole let me know if you have
any thoughts about it after checking out the pinned comment feel free to leave a
comment of your own and I'll keep working and talk to you in soon

BECOMING FLUENT [30-DAY CHALLENGE] *ACTIVATE THE SUBTITLES* - Duration: 16:08.
This video is going to be very special
because today is the first episode
of a series of videos named
THE CHALLENGE
The clallenge?! What is it going to be about?
THE CHALLENGE
it is a series of videos that is going to help you achieve FLUENCY
Fluency?!?! That's what I want!!!
Explain everything to me, Rodger!!!
Yes, I'll explain everything but before we start...
remember that if you subscribe to the channel
you'll be given access to the PDF files
with extra exercises and homework based on my videos
so please subscribe and
and
if you subscribe to the channel you will have some special benefits, such as:
you'll be given access to our group on Telegram
so you'll be able to have direct contact with me
on Telegram
so please subscribe....Let's get started!
this is the first episode of a series of videos called:
"THE CHALLENGE"
I'm going to explain what it's all about
in two different parts...
in the first part I'll just tell you what you need to do
and the rules for this challenge
and in the second part of my explanation I'm going to tell you why
these things that you're going to do will help you achieve fluency
let's go to the first part...and I'll explain what you need to do
You should choose one topic...
it could be about anything
it could be about:
religion, sport, relationships, technology, abortion, feelings, politics, food, aliens, it could be about anything...
and then you must speak about it for one minute
nonstop
so you have to talk about one specific topic for one minute
nonstop
you can't stop speaking
for at least one minute
in the comment section, I'll leave my own comment
with many different topics
and then you can choose one of them to start
I'll pin my comment and please choose of the topics from it, so please
take a look in the comment section
down below
but there are two rules for that
the first rule is that you can't stop speaking for one minute
so, you have to speak for one minute
and the second rule is
do it by yourself
never do it in front of anybody in order to avoid "restrictions"
you need to feel free in order to say whatever you want to say
you can go crazy and say stupid things
radical things or whatever you want to say
because here is the moment for you to develop your creativity and
your fluency
Rules for this challenge: 1- choose a topic 2-talk about it for one minute 3-do it by yourself
ok, now I know what I need to do
How will it help me achieve fluency?
there are many positive things you can get from this exercise
and I have to tell you that this is one of the things I do when I'm studying a new language
I do this and it works
yes, I believe you Rodger, you speak so many languages so perfectly
I have to believe your techniques
Now I'll tell you the positive things you can get from doing this exercise
The first positive things is
you brain will be forced to help you speak for one minute
nonstop, so
your brain will try to find strategies and
your brain will try to find solutions for you to keep speaking
therefore, you will start thinking faster
and it's important to think fast when you're having a conversation with another person
so you need to think fast
so, when somebody says something, you need to reply to that really quickly
so if you practice with this exercise you will develop your brain in order to think fast in English
another thing is that this exercise will help you develop your creativity
so your brain will develop your creativity
you need to be creative in order to avoid letting the "monologue" die
It's a kind of "conversation" because you are going to be talking to yourself
I do that all the time
another thing that you should bear in mind is that you shouldn't worry about grammar
for the challenge
you shouldn't worry about grammar, so if you make a mistake, don't stop
just keep speaking, ok?
There are different exercises for accuracy and grammar
but it's not this one
this one is for you to practice communication
, creativity and thinking fast
so if you make a mistake, don't worry about that. Mistakes are welcome now....
you can learn from your mistakes
again I have to say that you should go crazy, so
when you're talking about a specific topic
please go crazy
so, don't hold yourself back
No, Rodger! I never hold myself back.
Alright
if you are a student from the pre-intermediate level up to the advance level
I guarantee that you can speak English for one minute, nonstop
about anything
even if you are not familiar with the topic
if you practice with this exercise for 30 days in a row
I'm sure that this will build up your confidence and when you have to talk to a different person
you're going to thing fast,
you're going to be creative to keep talking to this person
because you're going to be confident
and comfortable to have a conversation
Rodger! Can I ask you a question?
Sure, go ahead, what's your question?
I think it's a little complicated because what if I choose to talk about...I don't know...technology???
for one minute?
I don't know anything about technology
so, I'm going to speak for fifteen seconds and then
I won't know what to say and then I'm going to have to stop
it's a good question because there are some strategies that you can use in order to talk about something that you're not familiar with. For example:
in your situation, you've just told me that you don't know anything about technology
so, as you are speaking, you have to think about something that is related to technology
that is closer to your world
for example, in your situation, I know that you have a cellphone, so
cellphones are related to technology, so
you could start it by saying
"ok, I don't know anything about technology and I have to speak about it for one minute...
..but I do have a cellphone and I
I use it all the time
the only thing I know about technology is my cellphone
I use it to chat with my friends on WhatsApp
I use it to take pictures
you know, blababla"
and then you can speak for one minute nonstop about your cellphone
not about "technology"
because you're bringing the topic to your Universe
oh yeah! it's easy for me to talk about my cellphone
it's true. I use it to chat with my friends on WhatsApp
I use it to check my messages on Facebook
Sometimes I watch some videos on Xvideos
It's funny because when I watch these videos,
I take some toilet paper and then
then I look at your photo
and then
no man! stop it!
that's why you need to be by yourself
because then you can go crazy and then
you can talk about whatever you want
without any restrictions
so, it's ok. You can talk about these things
but by yourself
Yes...As I said before
if you are from the pre-intermediate level up to the advanced level, you can do it. You can speak English for one minute about whatever topic
even when you are not familiar with the topic
Can you give us an example and do it once for us?
yes, that's what I'm going to do right now
I've asked my girlfriend to write some topics on slips of paper
and she has put them here
There are more than 30 different topics for me to pick one
I'm just going to pick up one piece of paper
and then I'm going to talk about this topic
it could be about anything
Ok, I'm going to do this right now....I'm going to pick one slip of paper here
at random
so this is the topic:
let's see
I need to speak for one minute nonstop about
"FEAR"
Yes, this is a very challenging topic for me
this is really a challenge because I've never had to talk about "fear"
before
I don't remember having a conversation about it before
yes, it's going to be a little bit complicated for me
for me to talk about it because
I don't have any experience talking about it before
but it's very good because then you will see how I use my strategies to
keep myself talking for one minute
about something that I'm not familiar with
I'm not familiar with fear because I'm not afraid of anything
I'm not afraid of anything, right?
I'm not afraid
because
Let's get started
Ok, so I need to talk about fear for one minute and
and that's what I'm going to do. I'm not really experienced with fear because I'm not afraid of anything
I'm a true super man
but I need to keep talking about fear for one minute
so I need to be really creative
Well...
Oh! I remember that last week I watched a video on Youtube
in which Will Smith was talking about his experience with fear
and he was saying that
once he went to the pub with his friends
in Australia and
they were drinking and having fun and they were talking about stuff and
drinking more and more
and they were very excited about "life"
and then one of his friends said
"oh! let's go skydiving tomorrow!!!"
and then Will Smith said:
"Let's go skydiving tomorrow" and everybody was shouting "let's go skydiving tomorrow"
and
that's ok...Then when he went back to his house
at midnight and
then when he placed his head on the pillow
suddenly he opened his eyes, like this, and
and he remembered....
that he was afraid of heights
from that moment on
he couldn't sleep anymore
he was tossing and turning in his bed and he couldn't sleep for a second
because he was afraid
of dying
fear was whispering in his ear
"man, you are gong to die. If you go skydiving you are going to die!"
but he was hopeful that everybody would forget about that
the following morning because
everybody was so drunk and wasted
but
when it was morning
somebody knocked on his door
he opened his door and it was his friends
and they said "yes, it's time to go skydiving!!!"
and then he said:
"just a second"
and then he closed the door
and for one minute
he had a panic attack
his heart started racing and he started sweating like a pig
because he was really afraid to die and
and fear was whispering in his ear
"you're going to die today. Will Smith! This is your last day on Earth!!!"
but then he opened the door and said "let's go skydiving" because
because he is a man and men
can't express that they have fear
I'm not afraid of anything
but I'm different because everybody is afraid of something
but men can't express that
and then he just went to the plane with his friends
when he got to the plane
he was introduced to the instructor because when you go skydiving for the first time
you need to attach yourself to an instructor
and you need to jump off of this plane with this guy because he is going to help you
and then the plane took off
they were flying very high
and then the instructor said:
"in one minute I'm going to open the door...and I'll count up to three...and then we're going to jump off together"
and then Will Smith started having another panic attack
because he was really afraid of heights
but he didn't say anything because
he couldn't express his fear in front of his friends
but fear was saying "you are going to die today Will Smith"
"This is your last day on Earth"
and he couldn't say anything. He was frozen...He was FROZEN.
and the instructor opened the door
and then he counted "1"
and fear was saying "you're going to die"
the instructor said "2"
and fear was saying "you're going to die today"
and then the instructor didn't say "3"
he just jumped off with Will Smith with him
and then he was diving
he was skydiving....he was falling
and at this moment that he was falling
he opened his eyes
and he saw a beautiful landscape
and then he had no fear at all
he was just looking at that landscape and thinking "My God.This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life"
"and this is the best moment I've ever experienced in my life"
and then he started crying because he felt so POWERFUL
he was FLYING!
he was feeling "MAN! I'M FLYING!!!"
"this is so beautiful"
and it was definitely the best moment of his life
when he landed, he thought to himself: "Why was I afraid last night? Why didn't I sleep?"
"Why was I so worried?"
"it was the best thing that has ever happened to me"
"in my life"
and the he realized that at the moment of maximum fear
this is exactly the moment of maximum happiness
so fear is really close to happiness
and fear is a liar
fear is always lying to you saying that
"you can't do this....you can't do that"
"you're going to die if you do this"
but it's a lie and behind this fear you might find true happiness and the best moments of your life
and I was thinking about that and since this is a language channel
sometimes you might be afraid of not being able to learn
fear might be whispering in your ear, things like :
"you're not going to learn...this is really complicated...you'll never speak Engish perfectly"
but take my word
and listen to me
This is just fear lying to you. Don't listen to fear
Remember......At the point of maximum fear, you can find true happiness
so you shouldn't be afraid of anything
Well, I believe it has been more than one minute so I can stop speaking, right?
How long has it been?
Wow! Over six minutes!
But you don't need to speak for such a long time
you only have to speak for at least one minute
but if you feel confident, you can keep talking, no problem

and the challenge is
now I'm going to tell you what the challenge is
the challenge is that you do that for 30 days in a row, so
so you choose one topic and then you talk about it for one minute
by yourself
you must speak about it for one minute by yourself
every day....for 30 days in a row

War Machines T-34
Today we look at one of the brightest legends of the Soviet tank industry.
the one and only T-34!
It was developed in the late 30s
But it serves its purpose even now, at least in some countries.
As for the game, we've included almost all of its major modifications to the Soviet tech tree.
Despite having the same name, looks, and basic parameters,
the tanks of this family are sometimes very different from each other.
If we take a look at the game and all the T-34s in it,
we can divide them into three separate groups:
the early models with 76 and 57mm weapons,
the later ones, with 85 and 100 mm guns
and the machines that are based on the T34.
We meet the earliest models at BR 3.3.
Those are the "T-34 prototype" also known as the A-34; and the T-34 1940.
The difference is in details.
For example, the A-34 has a lantern above the weapon barrel
and doesn't have any tool boxes on the hull.
Also it's faster as it has a bit more powerful engine.
Both thanks have a 76 millimeter gun, the L-11.
Next, at BR from 3.7 to 4.0 we get to the T-34 1941 and 1942,
the T-34E and the T-34E-STZ.
They also have a similar gun — a 76 millimeter cannon F34.
They've all got better armor, about 30-50 mm up comparing to the first two tanks,
but the protection rate is pretty much the same, as the BR is also higher.
The latest thanks of the first group are the T-34-57
and the T-34-57 model 1943
at BR 4.3 and 4.7 respectively.
They are as agile and protected as the earliest models of this line.
Then why do they have such a high BR?
It's because they have new weapons piercing 130-180mm of armor at a very good fire rate.
Moving on to later modifications of the T-34.
Here we can see the variants of the T-34-85.
One of those, created to rival the Panthers and the Tigers, became that living legend
that everybody's talking about.
We meet the first modifications of this machine starting from BR 5.3
it's the one with the D5T gun.
Its piercing rate is a bit lower than the T-34-57 model 1943,
but it's high explosive shells are a lot more effective
when it comes to actually blowing stuff up after the armour is penetrated.
This tank has also got a bigger turret which enabled adding another crew member.
And now we finally get to the legend itself
the T-34-85 with an extremely powerful Zis-S-53 gun piercing 180 mm of armor.
This fast and deadly tank has two variants in the game
The usual one and the T-34-85E modification.
As for the last member of this group, it's the T-34-100.
The name speaks for itself — it's got a 100 millimeter gun, the LB-1
which is powerful enough to get this tank at BR 6.7
though the armor is… pretty much the same.
This was one of the main reasons why this modification was never mass-produced.
The last group — the tech based on the T-34.
Strictly speaking, these aren't the T-34 you're looking for.
But we couldn't let them be forgotten today.
They are many, especially in the tank destroyer branch
for example, we can find here the SU-85, the SU-100
and even the SU-122 with an M30 howitzer.
There is even one SPAA in the game, that is based on the T-34 — it's the Type-65.
So you can say, this is all good, but what about the tactics?
Well, it's fairly simple.
On the earliest modifications you can do literally anything that would be useful for your team.
Using the later ones — pretty much the same
but remember not to go in frontal attacks and take care of your armor.
And now let's remember, how the Americans were trying to replace the Sherman
Pages of History T20
In the early 30s the British created the famous "Vickers 6-ton".
This reliable, maneuverable and cheap tank didn't get a lot of love at home, but it
sure got plenty of it around the world, from Bolivia and to Finland.
Of course, it came by the American shores as well,
and set a course for the development of its tank industry for the next ten years.
The light T1s weren't nearly as good in any way,
so the Americans decided to adopt this tank for their own purposes.
They didn't have an engine that would be this compact and powerful at the same time,
so they used a radial engine with an air cooling system.
It was very high, so the hull turned out to be quite high as well, though very short.
A couple of other solutions proved to be useful as well,
among them, a new type of suspension and rubber-metal caterpillars.
The result had a form of a light, reliable and agile tank that was named the T2.
Its construction became a base for a whole family of American tanks
all the way up to the Sherman.
And then… the engineers got stuck.
The thing was, the shaft was going from the engine to the transmission at an angle.
In the T2 it cut the operational space in two halves,
and the tankers had to jump over it while working their thing.
On the Shermans they'd installed an additional floor in the turret,
which was comfortable for the crew, but the price was the ridiculously high profile of this tank.
And that meant a lot of extra weight and a very complicated transportation process,
which was critical for the Americans.
So as early as 1942, when the mass-production of the Shermans had just begun,
the military ordered a replacement for it
the new T20 tank with a 76-mm long-barrel gun and a stabilizer.
It was supposed to become an answer to the newest Panzer-4-F2s
that the Allies have just met in Africa.
By the way, almost all the ammo was located under the turret
a move, that we can see in the Soviet machines like the T-34 and the KV-1.
The tank had a compact and powerful V-engine by Ford,
a very rational layout and a hydromechanical transmission that was a game-changer at the time.
All of that made the machine very interesting for the military command.
Hell, it was faster and deadlier than the Sherman, and also half-a-meter lower and several tons lighter!
Of course, they were interested!
At the same time, the engineers were developing the modifications of the T20.
The T-22-E-1 had a common mechanical transmission
and a less-powerful 75-mm gun, but with an autoloader.
The T23 got an electric transmission that enabled driving the tank directly from the turret.
And though it was extremely heavy, it provided very good maneuverability.
The tests were going as they should… until the Allies encountered the new German Tigers.
At that moment the T20 became as outdated as a digging stick
The Tigers were a lot better in both protection and the armament.
Time to make some new tanks!
These were the T25 and the T26 with a 90mm gun in an enlarged turret.
But in the end, only the reworked T26, named after general Pershing, fought a couple of battles in Europe.
The rest didn't even make it in time.
On the one hand the engineers of the T20 did fulfil their task
and created a lighter and more powerful tank to replace the Sherman.
The T20 at that moment was absolutely luxurious
A stabilizer, a hydromechanical transmission, an extra generator and lots of other cool things.
Compared to, say, the T-34 it looked like a brand new Lamborghini next to a good old Ford Anglia.
But on the other hand, due to constant changes and refinements, the new middle tanks got to fight at all.barely
Was there a point then? That's a good question!
And now, back to England, where they were building a brand-new bomber… without knowing how to.
Pages of History Hampden TB Mk.1
During the early 30s the world aviation industry was carried away with an idea of creating a perfect shape for an aircraft.
No more clumsy biplanes, non-retractable chassis, open cockpits and half-wooden constructions.
Now it was time to make smooth, speedy and beautiful things.
Also, at about the same time Giulio Douhet wrote a hugely influential book entitled
"The Command of the Air", that basically said: "All hail the bombers!"
As soon as the monoplanes started breaking the speed records,
the British military Command demanded the creation of a new bomber.
The requirements were very strict: two gun turrets with wide shooting angles,
1.5 tons of payload opportunities, preferably a full-metal construction
and speed, at least 350 kph.
even though the plane should've had two engines that were still under 1000 hp each.
Oh, and, surely, the aircraft should be as cheap as possible! We're in crisis, don't y'know?
Only three British companies answered the call,
and each one of them followed their own strange ways.
The Vickers company introduced the Wellington,
soon to be famous big bomber with unusual geodesic structural elements
We've talked about this one in episode six of The Shooting Range.
Engineers from the Armstrong-Whitworth presented the Whitley bomber project, that looked rather old-fashioned
and couldn't rush to insane speed limits, but it had a mind-blowing flight range.
The third project, called the Hampden, came from the Handley-Page company.
It was the most progressive of the three, especially in the aerodynamics part.
Its chief engineer was Gustav Lachmann, ex-pilot of the German Empire,
now, a British designer without citizenship.aircraft
Building this plane, he opted for maximum compactness and lightness in every way possible.
The thing was, there was no easy or even known way to do it.
All he had, was a simple wind tunnel and his own intuition.
The aircraft received a narrow "two-storey" fuselage that ended right after the wings,
and after that, there was a long tail with a horizontal empennage and two fins.
For the weird looks the Hampden immediately was called "a pan's handle"
and when a test pilot first saw the prototype, he angrily advised the creators to paint it green
then it surely would quack as well.
Still, the Hadley-Page company created a fast and easily handled aircraft with great
visibility from its cockpit.
Plus, they'd installed their brand-new slats that were later destined to become classic.
These provided very comfortable take-off and landing.
And of course, the aircraft was very cheap and could be mass-produced.
Though, it became obsolete by the beginning of the second World War,
it is remembered as one of the first high speed narrow-fuselage bombers,
alongside the great SB-2 and Dornier-17.
But it hardly could fly over the English Channel and it couldn't resist the newest Luftwaffe fighters.
It's career in the Royal Air Force ended in the middle of 1942.
The planes were taken out of action and then transferred to training fields or given to the USSR.
The Soviet pilots used them a lot, mostly as tactical short-range night-time bombers.

The first question was asked by a user called Gabriel Duchesne:
"Gaijin, where are my french ships?"
Ah monsieur, au même endroit qu'avant! The same place, where the rest of them are.
Getting ready to be released this year, after a series of tests and all that.
The second question comes from a player called EmeraldChest:
"What you expect, you find" Gaijin, Feb 18th 2018... I expect the F4 Phantom, please."
Hey there, mate! We're working on all these new aerial toys as hard as we can.
But if we don't make them interesting enough for you — it will all be in vain, wouldn't it?
So please, have some patience, while we're testing the hell out of those crazy
OP planes to squeeze them in the existing balance.
A player called David_NK asks:
"Could you add an ocean map please?"
Hi there. We actually have a couple of very picturesque maps with sea and ocean shores already
for example, the Normandy and the Jungle are accessible for Ground Tech,
and there are lots of oceanic views for aircraft pilots, like, say, New Guinea.
And, of course, there'll be a lot of that, when the Naval Battles come to the game.
And if you mean an ocean map, where there's only ocean and nothing else…
isn't it kinda boring?
And the last very serious message comes from Jæk:
"Hey Gaijin I'm going to the store, you need something?"
Actually, yeah, can you bring some Russian Bias, ultra-spicy?

Alive By Accident | Impossible Rescue - Duration: 9:06.
It wasn't supposed to be this way.
They weren't supposed to die...
...this way.
It all started with survivors...
…on my first visit to Iowa Farm Sanctuary, our state's first and only vegan sanctuary
for farmed animals who have either been liberated or escaped their fate in our food industry.
Not long after I arrived, IFS co-founder Shawn received a call from her husband.
A semi truck carrying cows to slaughter had flipped on a highway about 45 minutes away.
The Sanctuary's only trailer had a blown tire, so they posted a desperate call for help on
Facebook as we took off for the crash site in hopes of saving any survivors.
By the time we arrived, they'd been cleaning up for over five hours already, but three
bodies still remained.
We could see the legs of one cow projecting upwards from the top of the dumpster, filled
to the brim with carcasses.
Walking the path of the truck through the woods, seeing cast off parts wrapped around
trees from the sheer impact of the descent, the remaining ejected bodies of cows lying
bloodied in the brush, and the violently contorted remains of the trailer, it was hard to believe
anyone survived.
Information was scant and scattered.
We'd heard that the driver was at the hospital—pulled from the wreckage in the river.
At least twenty cows had died from the impact or were shot on site.
Some escaped into the woods, and we found the body of one who had tried, but succumbed
to his internal injuries.
And there were eight survivors who'd been caught, but their current location was unclear.
Shawn made call after call, tracing their path, finally getting a tip that they were
being held at some back-roads location registered to a trucking agency.
But we arrived to find it largely abandoned, save for an idling empty livestock truck—
a striking contrast to the mangled, bloodied remains of the one I'd been inside only
half an hour ago.
While Shawn spoke with the driver, I went around back, finding a group of baby cows
huddled together in a holding pen.
Recently taken from their mothers, they were likely awaiting transfer to either the veal
or beef industry—their impending slaughter not a matter of if, but when.
A man—whom I'll call Chad—had answered the sanctuary's plea for a trailer and met
us at the stop off.
It was clear within a few minutes that he didn't quite understand what he'd volunteered
for.
This is Iowa.
The center of America's industrial agriculture.
The first state to pass the modern Ag Gag laws.
For many residents, the concept of a farmed animal sanctuary isn't just unheard of—it's
incomprehensible.
But it would be a mistake—and one we activist often make—to dismiss, or become combative
with people like Chad.
When Shawn got a new lead about an equally vague location, the driver of the empty truck—familiar
with the area's industry stops—offered to escort us.
DRIVER: I'm headed up that way.
I'll just put my turn signal on where you're supposed to turn.
SHAWN: Okay, perfect.
We'll follow you.
Thank you so much!
EMILY: Thanks!
And so we began our unlikely caravan: a livestock truck leading two vegan activists rounded
out with a beef farmer and his trailer—all off to save some cows.
And this time, we found them.
The man in charge—whom I'll call Frank—was a bit wary at first.
FRANK: You better get ahold of whoever these cattle belong to.
In the system we've created, the eight surviving cows were someone's property.
And like any business, the "owner" had to assess if they were financially worth recovering.
While Shawn made another call to what we hoped was the company with legal ownership,
SHAWN: Have you guys filed a claim with your insurance yet?
I spoke with Frank about the crash site.
FRANK: Yeah, I thought for sure he was dead.
He was one of the first people on the scene and described how initially, they'd mistaken
the driver's screams for just another cow crying out in pain.
FRANK: They could—they could hear him going "Get me out of here."
They'd found him pinned in the wreckage, his mouth filling with water from the river
as he called for help.
Finally, we were given the go-ahead.
SHAWN: Alright, thank you so much.
Yep, buh-bye.
Alright, let's do it!
FRANK: That's right.
Back 'er up.
And there they were.
Shaken and terrified.
With no way of knowing that this final trip of their very long day, had them bound for
home.
Arriving at the Sanctuary, the residents gathered to check out the newcomers.
And as the eight brothers stepped out of the trailer, they took their first steps as free
individuals.
Liberated…by accident.
As we watched them huddle into the far corner, shielding the most injured of the group—still
on high alert—Chad, the beef farmer who answered the desperate call of some vegan
activists, making this entire rescue possible, asked me a question I will never forget:
CHAD: They just live until they die, or what?
"Yeah," I said.
"They live until they die."
In order for us to be able to do what we do to animals and maintain the image we have
of ourselves as good and decent people—animal lovers, even—we've had to distance, disconnect,
and distract ourselves.
Construct systems so astoundingly convoluted, that the concept of a chicken, pig, or cow
living until they die is literally beyond our grasp.
Yet at the same time, we like to believe that the animals we eat lived a good life.
That they were well-treated.
We shield ourselves from the violent deaths they're destined for, shuttering them inside
metal boxes at which we dare not look too closely, lest we meet their eyes and remember
that these…are individuals.
But when a truck flips, spilling their bodies and blood across our path, we're confronted
not only with the horror of their suffering and deaths, but also with the very thing we've
had to work so hard to suppress and avoid: our compassion.
These accidents expose the depth of our disconnect and lay bare our conflicting beliefs: people
wince at the news of a livestock truck crash, mutter "those poor cows" or "how awful for
those pigs" without the slightest awareness of the absurdity of their statements.
Because these very same people will later consume the flesh and secretions of some other
"poor" cow, pig, or chicken who had the great fortune of their truck making it to the slaughterhouse.
It all ended with survivors…
That accident that day—as horrifying as it was, and as terrifying it must have been
to experience—for these eight cows, it was a miracle of sorts—their only chance at
life.
Because had everything gone according to plan, they'd have been killed, bled out and hacked
apart—their deaths no less brutal than their brothers who died in the crash day.
But like the other over 822,000 cows slaughtered that day behind closed doors, they'd have
passed from existence without a single gasp of shock or even quiet whisper of "those
poor cows."
Find out what happened to the survivors in part two.

Wakanda isn't real ... or is it? Black Panther's real life village - Duration: 4:40.
Hello internet and welcome to behind the meme!
Today we have a look at "wakanda isn't real"
Everybody loves movies!
And it seems that the type of movies that are the most popular nowadays are super hero
movies.
You know, batman, spiderman, ironman, superman… basically any variation of man.
which translates to a lot of buff white dudes with cool powers or gadgets in tight spandex
clothes that shows of their muscles.
I'm starting to see why everybody likes these movies.
hubba hubba hubba hubba.
There's plenty of white super heroes out there but A black super hero is a rare thing.
It's kinda like finding a straight dude who is friends with a girl and doesn't wanna
bang her . I mean it happens sometimes, but not very often.
So it was a big deal to people when marvel's black panther movie was released in movie
theaters in February of 2018.
There was finally a black super hero that those who have felt left out could look up
to.
Upon it's release, like most super hero movies, it made a shit ton of money, coming
in at number 1 in the box office and being an instant financial success.
In case you don't know, Black panther is a movie about a panther, which is like a big
cat that lives in the jungle, he like runs in the forrest and like attacks smaller animals
with his claws because they're sharp and then he drinks water and climbs trees and
then in the end there are like these hunters who try to shoot him cause his fur is like
cool and it feels really good.
So he like gets together with the rest of the animals and they scare off the hunters
and they never come back which allows them to live happily ever after.
Oh and then dwayne "the rock" johnson makes a cameo where he like flexes and pretends
to act cause he's in like every movie nowadays, so of course he's in black panther as well.
Okay okay.
I may have lied about the plot of the movie.
I haven't exactly seen black panther.
To be honest, I really don't watch any super hero movies.
I'm more so a fan of movies that star sasha grey.
Although I haven't seen Black Panther, it has been kinda hard to avoid people talking
about it on the internet recently.
You see in the film there is a utopia type paradise known as Wakanda.
Apparently It's like a cool place to live and stuff.
So much so that it has become a topic of discussion and debate.
With people declaring that they want to move to wakanda because the movie depicts it as
a wonderful place.
And then there's been other people online who have to remind them wakanda isn't real.
You see Some people speak about wakanda like it is a real place.
Like this article about it from the new york times.
Which declared that the part of the appeal of the movie was because wakanda hasn't
been colonized.
Conservative commentor Ben Shapiro responded in a tweet to that article declaring that
wakanda isn't real.
Since then the phrase has spread around the internet and been used in various ways to
remind people a movie is simply just a movie.
But that hasn't stopped a few bold individuals to go as far as creating pages to receive
donations so they can move to a fictional paradise.
Thankfully most of these pages haven't received any donations.
I mean people can spend their money how they choose but cmon.
Wakanda isn't real….
Right?
Or is it?
*Dun dun dun!*
Technically it is a real place.
There is a village in Lake county Illinois that is called Wauconda . Spelled differently
but sounds the same.
This place is pretty small with a population of just over 13,000 people and doesn't have
much going on.
That is until now!
Since the release of the movie fans have been calling the village hall and yelling "wakanda
forever" or making other references to the film.
Residents have seemed to embrace and have fun with their new found popularity as well.
So technically wakanda isn't real…but wauconda is real….
So you could move to wauconda, but you can't move to wakanda.
Yeah, This is kinda confusing.
So there you have it!
What started off as a fictional paradise to some, has turned into a real place but just
spelled a little differently.
But hey!
That's the internet for you and on the internet memes are king!
Thank you all so very much for watching!

favorite memes and trends!
Much love and appreciation.

Diehard Eagles Fan Dies Before Super Bowl Win, But Husband Doesn't Let Her Miss The Celebration - Duration: 2:38.
Diehard Eagles Fan Dies Before Super Bowl Win, But Husband Doesn't Let Her Miss The
Celebration
Four days after the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII, millions from the City of
Brotherly Love came out to honor and celebrate their victorious team.
This is the Eagles' first Super Bowl win.
And they owe it to quarterback Nick Foles.
Among the parade attendants was a man who quietly carried his late wife's ashes through
the crowd of fans.
While looking for the perfect spot to allow him the best vantage point of the parade,
Dustin Javier went to stand in front of City Hall.
He learned the name of the man with the urn was named Dennis; his wife's name was Becky.
She would've loved to have seen her favorite team bring home the Lombardi Trophy.
"She was a diehard Eagles fan," Dennis said, according to a viral Facebook post shared
by Javier after he heard Dennis's story.
"I had to make sure she was here for this."
The two men chatted for a bit until a police officer approached Dennis and handed him a
beer.
The cop pointed to a group of around 12 men across the street.
"The officer then let him know that it was from the fans across Broad Street when they
raised their beers when he looked over.
Dennis was pretty happy about it," Javier, 41, tells PEOPLE.
"He was standing a little in front of me, so I didn't see how he emoted about it,
but from his voice, it sounded to me like he reacted rather jovially to their gesture."
Witnessing the special moment was especially touching for Javier: "I lost my mother recently.
While she wasn't the biggest Eagles fan, I wish she could have been here for this as
well."
The parade stretched for five miles where over two million fans cheered and celebrated
their football team as they greeted them from atop double-decker buses.
Javier will always remember this day, but not just for its significance in sports history:
"It definitely was one of the best parts of my parade experience," he says.
"Sure, seeing our heroic players come by and cheering them on for finally bringing
the Lombardi Trophy to Philadelphia was fun and all, but experiencing first hand that
kind of camaraderie among the fans is really what that day is about and what being sports
fans is really about."
What a kind gesture those men did for Dennis.
What a way to show respect for a total stranger.

Private Railroad Crossing - Duration: 3:41.
Hello ladies and gentlemen RailROL82 here I'm gonna show you guys a private
railroad crossing over here before I do that I'm gonna show you guys this
one this is an update video I remember I shot over here when somebody broke
this crossing gate they ran into it this is flaghole Road in Hendry County
The relay case over there says Flaghole Road, so if you guys remember
somebody hit that crossing gate there well not that one specifically but one
like it and when they hit it, it came over here right and I give you a tour of
this crossing so everything is back up and ready to go so what I wanted to show
you today was this crossing over here
this here is a, this is a canal and then this here is a orange
plantation these are orange trees over there
so this here is a private railroad crossing, this spur is the SCFE but this
spur actually goes into, there's an orange juice plant back there so the
track goes that way curves that way and it goes back that way
in that way so it's over there somewhere by highway 833 I'll include a link
for it in the bottom if you guys want so yeah so then this crossing all we got is
the emergency contact info crossing
number 966 172C, a stop sign and a cross buck that's all that we got here
no lights bells whistles nothing of that nature this is the grade crossing wood
wood
wooden ties, same difference on the same thing on this side except we
got we got no crossing number or emergency contact info just that stop
sign and cross bucks if you guys notice on the Google Maps Street View for flaghole
Road prior to like 2011 2012 the track ended
right just shy of flaghole Road they built this spur sometime after 2011 2012
so yeah and then this is the canal again
you can see I'm going to try to zoom in over there that there's where they load sugar
cane that's how they load sugar cane onto the to the trains

Trump May Soon Lose Very Valuable Members Of His Staff, Leaving Him With No Supervision - Duration: 3:16.
It's no secret that Donald Trump hasn't been getting along very well with certain members
of his staff, particularly General John Kelly, his Chief of Staff. Well, according to a new
report, Donald Trump has also not been getting along very well with his national security
advisor, H. R. McMaster. Four senior White House officials have told Reuters News Agency
that they wouldn't be surprised and they fully expect McMaster and Kelly to leave the White
House within the coming weeks.
Here's what that could mean for the Trump administration if this happens, if he loses
both or even if he just loses one of those people. I know John Kelly is taking a lot
of heat recently, rightfully so, for his complete bungling of the Rob Porter scandal, but when
he came into office here, when he joined Donald Trump's administration, he was supposed to
be the adult in the room. He had this massive decorated military background. He was a no-nonsense
kind of guy. Yes, he was a Conservative and had horrible policies, but he was supposed
to be the grown up, the guy to talk a little bit of sense into Donald Trump. It was the
same thing with H. R. McMaster, another decorated army soldier. They are the guys who actually
kind of have a little bit of understanding about American policy. They're wrong on policy,
but at least they do have an understanding of it, unlike pretty much everyone else in
this Trump administration.
If he loses these two men or even if he only loses one of them, you're losing what might
be the only occasional voices of reason, voices of sanity, in this Trump administration. If
they go, I expect we're going to see more lower level staffers leave with them because
they understand what will happen to the president if all of the grown ups leave the White House,
and I use that term loosely, especially with John Kelly. He's proven that he was nowhere
near worth the hype that he got from the media.
But White House staffers have already said that they're worried about Trump's behavior,
they don't like it, he gets volatile, he gets angry. Now with this increased friction between
himself, and Kelly, and McMaster, and these other administration officials saying that
those two men are likely to leave, Donald Trump is going to go even more into the deep
end here. He's going to go completely off the rails because there's not going to be
a voice of reason anymore. There's not going to be anyone holding him back from some of
the crazier things that he wants to say or do. There's not going to be anyone to take
questions from the media in his place to try to calm them down and explain exactly what
the president meant. These two men leaving, as bad as they may be, is actually far worse
for this country than I think a lot of people understand at this point.

INFILL pattern and SHELLS - How to get the maximum STRENGTH out of your 3D prints? - Duration: 9:54.
When it comes to the strength of your 3D printed parts print settings play, besides the material
a major roll in what your prints can handle.
Unfortunately I hear and read way too often that many only use the infill ratio to adjust
that property.
For this reason I tested the strength of different infill patterns on tons of these hooks and
more importantly show you how you really should strengthen your prints!
Guten Tag everybody, I'm Stefan and welcome to CNC Kitchen.
If you have your material dialed in you will usually only adjust a small number of settings
before each print depending on the requirements of the part.
If you want it to be strong, many will adjust the infill density to a higher value.
This will scale the infill patters density and defines how much of the internal cavity
is filled with material which can go up even to a fully dense part.
The other option is increasing the thickness of the outer shell, by adjusting the shell
thickness, wall thickness, number of perimeters or however it is called in your slicer.
Usually, for a strong print you'll be adjusting both values.
But what really gives you the strongest result and which is the most economical way, meaning
how can you increase the strength of your part with the least amount of material.
If you want to print light weight structures, this is something which is really important.
In order to properly answer that question, I printed quiet a lot of my trusty test hooks
and measured their strength – for science!
This is definitely not perfect and doesn't include all possible load cases and orientations,
but I still think that this is a good real world example and probably one of the best
analysis you'll find at the moment.
The reason why I use my hook from my filament test series for the investigation instead
of standardized axial test specimens is, that the critical area is loaded with a more every
day load case.
Since the location of load application is a little offset, that lever arm will cause
an additional bending moment that is superposed with the axial force.
In real life, your part will also mostly be loaded by such a combination so the results
I present, even though not 100% scientific, will probably be more usable and proof my
point better.
As a first investigation I wanted to find out what difference the infill patterns make
on strength of the part and print time.
I also wanted to find out if 30% infill really meant that 30% of the internal volume was
filled by material.
Since I used Simplify 3D as a slicer for these tests, I was trying out the following available
patterns: Rectilinear, Grid, Triangular, Wiggle, Fast Honeycomb and Full Honeycomb.
Rectilinear is usually the default and prints the fastest whereas Wiggle is probably more
for esthetic purposes.
Like for most of my parts, these hooks were printed with only 2 perimeters, and 4 bottom
and 5 top layers at 0.2mm layer height.
All the parts were printed in PolyLite PLA by the way.
Print time of the Rectilinear infill was the shortest with 48.5 minutes.
Grid infill took 50.5 minuest and triangular 53.
The patterns with lots of direction changes took the longest with 55 minutes for the full
honeycomb and interestingly wiggle and fast honeycomb took the longest needing 56.5 minutes.
This is not fully representative, since the times change due to the geometry and ratio
between outer walls and infill, but shows that you can definitely save some time using
the standard rectilinear pattern.
Taking a look at the real final weight of the parts was pretty interesting because most
hooks weight around the same, resulting in a calculated infill of roughly 33%.
Only the hook with the triangular pattern weight quite a lot more and ended up with
a 45% infill instead of the assigned 30%.
But now to the most interesting part.
What was the strength of the parts?
As expected, Wiggle did the worst with only 45 kg until failure.
Rectilinear came next and failed at 48 kg.
Then there was grid at 52 kg and both honeycomb patterns failed at 57 kg.
The hook with the triangular infill was the strongest failing at 60 kg!
But as we have seen before, 30% infill in your slicing software doesn't necessarily
mean 30% material in the infill.
For this reason, let's take a look at which infill is the most economic, so were do we
get the most strength per weight.
This is where we see that triangular infill is no more the best but both honeycomb infill
scores the highest values.
The order of the rest stays pretty much the same.
In the first analysis we have seen that the full honeycomb seemed to be the most economic
solution if you want to increase strength.
As a next test, I wanted to find out how the strength of the hooks change depending on
different infill ratios from 0 to 100%.
I did this analysis with the full honeycomb infill but also the rectilinear because I
wanted to know how my standard infill pattern behaves with different infill ratios.
Even though it seemed with the first tests, that the honeycomb patter was significantly
stronger than the standard infill taking a look at the all of the values between 15 and
75% they are pretty much the same.
The interesting part again is if we also take a look at the print time, where the rectilinear
pattern starts to shine.
At smaller infill ratios the both infills give you around the same strength in the same
amount of print time, but as soon as you go over 50% the rectilinear prints way faster
than honeycomb at the same strength.
But wait, this is not the end!
Let me show you how you really can increase your part strength the right way, without
worrying about infill ration or infill patterns.
I hope this analysis is not too technical but I think there is too much superficial
knowledge around about this topic so I thought I'd approach it at least a little scientific.
If you would like to see more in this direction please let me know in the comments and consider

This doesn't only help me spend more time on these topics, but you'll also get access
to all the detailed test reports and test models!
All right, so I have already said in the beginning the critical section of our hook is not only
loaded in tension, but also in bending.
If you bend a part, just like the piece of foam right here, one side will be stretched,
the other sider compressed.
The part in the middle is not stretched at all so material which we place in the core
of our part usually is loaded not at all or only slightly.
The further material is next to the outer shell the more it contributes to the strength
and stiffness of the part.
If we take a look at our 3D prints, this is shell of our print, which thickness we can
adjust with the number of perimeters, shells, wall thickness or similar.
In order to find out how this affects the strength of the hooks I printed more samples
with 2 to 6 shells and only a moderate 15% infill.
I also increased the number of top and bottom layers to get a constant wall thickness of
my part.
If we take a look at the results we can directly see, that increasing the shell thickness is
way more efficient than varying the infill.
At the same weight a hook that was reinforced with more shells is significantly lighter
than a hook where only the infill was increased.
What's also interesting is, that a hook with 6 perimeters is already as strong as
a part with 2 perimeters and 100% infill.
This is due to the reason that in this case the strands of filament of the shells are
in the direction of the internal forces, so in their strongest orientation, making them
way stronger than the infill, that is rotated all the time.
For completeness let's also take a look at the print times and here we see, that in
my case, I didn't save print time with the perimeter method.
Print times at the same strength were very comparable to the hooks where the infill was
varied.
The reason for this is, that the outer shell is usually printed slower and with lower accelerations
than the infill, to improve print quality.
Okay, so what is my verdict?
If you want to print stronger parts increase the number of perimeters and also top and
bottom layers.
Don't only crank up the infill ratio.
I wouldn't usually use infill ratios of 100% because at first this is not economic
and second might lead to severe printing problems if only a small amount of overextrusion is
happening.
Also, don't try to get 100% infill with increasing the wall thickness all the way
because that can also lead to printing problems and as I have told you before, material in
the core mostly doesn't contribute a lot to the strength of your designs.
For parts that need to be strong I usually don't go above 4 perimeters and 50% infill.
That is a good compromise between material usage and strength.
Even though rectilinear infill wasn't always the strongest, I'm still a huge fan of this
pattern because it gives you quite a dense grid even at low infill ratios which is good
for your top layers.
I might need to try out the 3D infill patterns that are available in Slic3r and Cura and
find out how they faire, also considering loads in different directions.
But what's your approach at the moment if you print parts that need to handle some beating?
Let me know down in the comments!
I hope I was able to clarify and debunk some myths about infill and part strength.

Trump Is Literally Encouraging Republicans To Break The Law - Duration: 3:19.
Recently, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that the state's districts were severely gerrymandered
to benefit the Republican Party.
When the Republicans said, "Okay, we'll change them, but can we just have them for this year's
midterms?"
The Supreme Court said, "Absolutely not.
That's pretty stupid.
You're going to change these districts, redraw all these lines before the 2018 midterms."
So, that's the official court ruling, so therefore that is the law.
Well, Donald Trump isn't exactly happy about it.
He doesn't like that the Supreme Court is making the state of Pennsylvania play by the
rules.
He doesn't like that the state of Pennsylvania wants the voters in that state to have people
representing them that actually represent them.
So, Donald Trump took to Twitter, as he always does, and he told Republicans in Pennsylvania
to not follow the orders of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
He said, "Do not redraw those lines.
Do not listen to them.
Do not do this because it's going to benefit the Democrats.
Hold the line, folks."
Donald Trump literally encouraged Republicans in Pennsylvania to break the law.
Now, I'm not legal scholar, but I'm pretty sure that that Donald Trump statement of ignore
what the Supreme Court says and do whatever the hell you want to do anyway, break the
law, yeah, pretty sure that is illegal.
You can't do that when you're in a position of authority over someone else by telling
them to break the law.
Donald Trump may have just committed yet another impeachable offense here by telling these
Republicans in Pennsylvania to ignore a ruling of the Supreme Court.
Will he face any justice for this?
Absolutely not.
Is anybody really going to even talk about this beyond the next day or two?
Probably not.
However, this is a very real and a very serious story that shows just how much contempt Donald
Trump has for the rule of law in the United States.
The majority of voters who turned out for the last election in the state of Pennsylvania
voted for Democrats for their house seats, yet the majority of Republicans won.
That's how badly that state is gerrymandered.
That even though the majority of the votes cast go to Democrats, the majority of people
elected end up being Republicans.
That's by design.
That's what the Supreme Court saw.
They said, "You can't do this," and Donald Trump says, "To hell with the rule of law,
I want you to do what I want you to do.
Ignore the laws.
Do what I say.
I'm the guy in charge."
You can't do that.
That's illegal.
But, again, we have such a spineless congress, spineless senate, and absolutely a spineless
vice-president.
Nobody is going to hold Donald Trump accountable for encouraging elected Republican officials
to break the law and that's a shame.

LEGO Avengers Infinity War Thanos Ultimate Battle review! 76107 - Duration: 12:33.
hello everyone this is the Lego Marvel Super Heroes Thanos ultimate battle set
and as always movie related sets are allowable to have some movie related
spoilers so make your choices on what videos to watch appropriately and please
be sure to check out the pinned comment on this video that a pinned comment
before you comment yourself so this is the third ravager em ship that Lego has
made to go with minifigs and it's the third design it's completely different
design from the last one as far as how its built and definitely a completely
different design from the first each has had its own thing going for it this one
has a nice broad wingspan I think it's one of the more elegant of the three I'm
not sure if it quite beats the first one but the first one you know had the most
pieces and the largest size and the most bulk overall but I think this looks
really nice on display it does have a lot of studs visible and also some anti
studs showing the undersides of things but I think it looks better in person
than it does on camera to be honest I think it looks really good some things
that are unique to this one in terms of how it's built include the dihedral with
the wings they're actually angled up just slightly from the horizontal plane
which is a nice thing and it works well if you kind of bring the go wing thing
into it you can change the angles if a lot of these winglets as usual this goes
up and down this goes up and down these go in and out these go up in town these
go up and down you know kind of the usual fare the usual stuff that you
would expect here these anti studs on the insides of these vertical fins don't
look all that great to me but I'm glad that they have the nice thinness to them
makes everything look a little bit sharper than if they had tried to bulk
it up and cover everything up with tiles and you know they don't have Dayak well
they don't have many diagonal tiles that would really help to smooth things over
so I'm actually quite a fan of this design to be honest with you it has just
a couple of stud shooters one on top of either wing surprise it in put more in
it then uses the same canopy piece printed
canopy piece as the last one that they did but here this is angled forward much
more so that's a good thing I think does not hold for people inside of that
canopy area though instead it holds just too but this is a little removable
scooter thing that you can pull out you just grab that and pull it out and then
that's able to to fly around or scoot around you know use it as a small
speeder and it's able to hold on to all the accessories you need for both of
those many things nice to have a little deployable thing they have a pretty
nicely shaped space there to imagine the figures getting back into the inner
passenger compartment and the rear also opens up pretty nicely and to get better
access you can take off the top so that all opens up that's good it's just a
single sticker on either side there's one there and there's one there no tape
deck in this one unfortunately get a couple more seats though you can put a
couple more people back there plus you have space for some cargo and I'll show
you what the cargo can be just a little bit later on yeah this is nice that
again it's just a single piece with a single you know thickness of in this
case a tile I was like these were just a single plate and it works well gives you
a nice smooth space there interestingly this is very flat on the back because it
was designed to have another set actually get attached to it these flaps
come down to close up that space the back of the box gives you a preview man
once I review this set I will show you the two together in person as well looks
like they go together pretty nicely and it'll make the whole thing look a little
bit more aerodynamic and complete rather than just ending with that flat plane
here's a look at the ship from a lower angle just to help you to get a little
bit better understanding of how it appears from some different
views so they did actually build it up around the side a bit and close that up
around the fuselage so it doesn't look too blocky and incomplete there it's
really just the back that looks particularly flat and again that's
because of the docking that's available it's a pretty large unit it gets
attached to it so they needed some space for that I think it works looks a lot
better once you put that on there but this is not bad just has that at one
angle that's not as good as the rest for sure
of course Thanos himself and the Infinity Gauntlet are two other major
draws and selling points for this set I think that uh looks okay I I personally
am still not a major fan of big figs I think that Lego has done a handful of
pretty good big figs but this one is just kind of kind of normal you know it
doesn't really stand out in in its overall quality of course it just has
the regular articulation of the arms that can be moved up and down
individually and the hand can be rotated around and he has his sword wielded at
the moment no ability to move the legs or to move the head the quality of the
printing on the figure I think is pretty good there's nothing to be seen around
the back as usual but you do get the stand for the
Infinity Gauntlet and the gauntlet itself looks pretty good obviously you
can plug in each of the stones or gems and this set comes with the reality
stone and in fact as with the other infinity war sets they give you a sprue
of four of those so if you lose one you still have three more you can go through
that process of losing them a number of times and still not be out of look out
of luck and you can pull this off and put it directly on him I have to say
that is a better look for a sure you know takes away some of the plainness
and sameness of of the big fakes you know this makes it definitely a lot more
prestigious looking and more unique to have that different handpiece there and
I think that's done pretty decently well it's not able to hold things quite as
much but that makes sense and you know rotating this around does make it look
like a like a proper fist I guess that side isn't the best looking
right there with the open space there maybe they could have closed that up a
bit better but overall I think they did a pretty good job here like the depth
behind it and I look forward to after I go through and review all of the
Infinity Ward sets look for - going ahead and putting all the stones in this
and seeing how that looks here's another Iron Man mark 48 the
figure is not exclusive to this set but all the extra boosters attached to him
are specifically with the sticker sheet that makes that specific to this set the
parts themselves I think are not unique in any way but that's a pretty good
build you know it scales really well all the booster elements I think scale
really well - a Lego minifigs way that they're proportioned you can change the
angles of these a bit because they are attached to the exact same back back
piece that they used for the iron spider they've got some bars and this can be
angled in and out and you can change around the kind of blast pieces so they
give you a full set of the blast and splat pieces I'll show you the rest of
them as well but I think it's a pretty good looking thing we need to look at
just the figure up close though hmm maybe he doesn't want to be seen up
close that's just a little combination that they suggest for one of the blast
pieces and one of the splat pieces to connect them together to show some
firepower coming off one of the hands and then they give you a couple they
give you a couple of sets of these and then a couple of these smaller ones as
well just the the full set of all the pieces that they introduced just last
year for those types of comic elements and again otherwise this is the exact
same iron and figure that's in the sanctum
sanctorum set still a really good-looking one I think this one's not
printed quite as well as the last one I got around the base of the mouth with
the gold but the eyes look pretty good and those eyes look really great from a
distance even it's a testament to good design in my opinion and it has good
torso printing around the back it has the two-faced prints so this one shows
all the heads-up display stuff I still think that looks a little bit too pale
there could have gone with a darker base color maybe you know that's really the
way you want to see it right there and I think you needed to have just some
some darkness around you know that the shadows around the edges but this is how
they did it I'm okay with it I understand why they
did it and I do appreciate an attempt to make things pop with the the colors in
detail and there's just his standard expression and then rounding things out
here are star-lord and Gamora and I think between the two of these Gamora
is the star as a figure I like the printing on the face and I like the hair
and I think the torso is is decent not a highlight of the set

I Wanted to Be a Suicide Bomber. Now I Love Jesus! | Isik Abla - Duration: 28:31.
Sid: Hello.
Sid Roth here.
Welcome to my world where it's naturally supernatural.
My guest was born in a Muslim country,
raised Muslim.
She used to dream of having the ability to be a suicide bomber.
Well this woman had such a radical encounter with Jesus.
You should hear what she says about Israel.
She has fallen in love with Israel and the Jewish people.
She has six million followers on Facebook,
mostly Muslims that she's leading to the Lord.
Why?
She moves in extraordinary miracles.
Anyone want to see some?
[Applause]
Is there a supernatural dimension,
a world beyond the one we know?
Is there life after death?
Do angels exist?
Can our dreams contain messages from Heaven?
Can we tap into ancient secrets of the supernatural?
Are healing miracles real?
Sid Roth has spent over 35 years researching the strange world of
the supernatural.
Join Sid for this edition of It's Supernatural.
[Applause]
Sid: You know, Isik, you appear to be such a joyful person.
You're always bubbly.
You're always excited, but if people only knew the background
you came from.
It's almost like that was a different person.
I mean, I already told them your dream would be worthy enough to
be a suicide bomber.
You just got back from Israel.
Tell me what happened when you went to Israel.
What was it like?
Isik Alba: Well I had another encounter with Jesus there and I
was weeping every step when I was walking to Jerusalem,
and I just fell in love with Israel,
and I felt like I belong there for all my life.
And even when I was an enemy of Israel,
when I wanted to wipe Israel from the face of the earth,
as a radical Muslim, and I saw Lord Jesus towards me when I was
in Israel, it was such a life-changing experience.
Sid: I want you to see the contrast.
I'll take you back as a young girl in a Muslim family in
Turkey, radical.
What was your life like as a young girl?
Well I grew up in civil war years,
so I was very accustomed to bombed,
hearing gunshots, people killing each other.
We had a terrorist training center next store.
So I was four or five years old.
I was seeing machine guns, dynamite going in and out of the
body, and I developed PTSD at an early.
I was being beaten up, abused and molested later on by a
family relative.
I've been through a lot of physical,
sexual and emotional abuse when I was a kid and later on when I
was a young adult.
Sid: But even in Turkey is the same America,
the women think I'll get married and that's going to be my
solution, and I'll be just like they show in Hollywood.
How old were you when you were married?
Isik Alba: Nineteen years old.
Sid: Okay.
So you get married.
Isik Alba: Yes.
Sid: And it was actually worse than the beatings you were
taking at home.
Isik Alba: Absolutely.
The only difference, at that time,
I was bleeding.
My first husband was doing writing as a Muslim man.
He was disciplining me to become a better Muslim woman.
Sid: Is he allowed to do this, according to their holy book?
Isik Alba: Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Sid: Just out of curiosity, there's been a phrase in America
used often about Islam.
Isik Alba: Yes.
Sid: This is the phrase that we have been sold as Americans:
Islam is a peace-loving religion.
What would you say to that?
Isik Alba: Well whoever says that has Antichrist spirit
because this is a fake piece of Antichrist.
And if there's any peace in Islam,
who says that needs to show me one Muslim country in the world
that has peace.
And it is a very fake and very deceptive statement that Islam
is a peaceful religion.
Sid: Okay.
So you have a horribly abusive marriage and you decide you're
going to get education.
You study.
You're good.
You get a good job and then you figure a way to get out Turkey
to America.
You get a transfer.
You divorce your husband.
I understand it took a miracle.
You come to America.
You live a very wild lifestyle and there's another man who is
involved in drugs, you get involved with,
and he was acting crazy towards you.
It was like you were a magnet to attract problems for yourself.
Isik Alba: Absolutely.
And I believe to a problem, God can speak to many people.
Maybe there's a pattern in their lives and there's
an abuse pattern.
They feel stuck and I was one of those people.
I was a victim before Jesus Christ.
I had this thing on my forehead, come and abuse me,
come and rape me.
And people, abusers are attracted to victims.
So I had another horrible marriage,
but the good part of it, I have a 20-year-old daughter today who
is a missionary, and two months ago I led my second husband to
the Lord, gloriously.
[Applause]
Sid: Okay.
I want to take you, you get a good job in America.
However, because of the abuse, there's a point you can only
take so much, and because of this abuse,
even with her daughter, life isn't worth living.
She's going to commit suicide.
She goes into work and her employer says,
"Isik, I want you to come to my office.
I'm going to do something I've never done before."
When we come back let's find out what he did.
[Applause]
We'll be right back to It's Supernatural!
We now return to It's Supernatural!
[Applause]
Sid: Weren't you concerned about committing suicide that you'd
have problems with Allah?
Isik Alba: Yes, but I thought Allah wasn't pleased with me and
he hated me, so there was no way for me to win his approval.
I was a failure in my eyes.
Sid: So the morning before you went to work where you had
planned to commit suicide, what was going
on inside of your head?
Isik Alba: Well I woke up and I saw my daughter,
she was two and half years old, and I heard a voice in my head,
anybody can be a better mother.
And that same voice was telling me life is not worth living,
and I usually do this when enemy is speaking,
because we need to recognize the enemy's voice as separate.
And that morning, I was just hearing from the enemy and
believing in that lie, and I started,
I took her to day care and started planning my suicide.
Sid: Okay.
So you get to work.
What happened?
Isik Alba: Well I went to the restroom to cry because my
sorrow was so great, and I started having closure with God.
And I didn't know at that time which God I was talking to
because I was going to Bible study at that time,
at workplace.
Sid: Where they were Christians and had a Bible study.
Isik Alba: Yes.
So I was just going to there to please my boss thinking that I
will secure my job.
Sid: Except, you told me you heard about a woman that you
related to and that the approach Jesus took was so different than
the approach Allah took.
Tell me about that.
Isik Alba: So that was my first Bible study from John,
Chapter 8, the adulteress woman, when they threw her at the feet
of Jesus, "What are we going to do with her?
According to Moses' law we need to stone her."
He didn't condemn her, but he gave her another chance.
But according to Sharia Law, she had to be stoned to death,
and that pierced my heart with Lord Christ there.
It was my first Bible study.
But coming back to the day of planning my suicide,
I was told I could never become a Christian.
They were infidels and they were destined for hell.
And I wasn't a good Muslim at that time.
I was thinking Allah disowned me,
so it would be better for me to just kill myself,
and without even thinking the consequences,
I just wanted to end my pain.
And then I went to work, and I went to the restroom having this
closure with God.
And I started asking, why do you hate me so much,
why have you abandoned me or forsaken me?
What have I done so bad?
I cleaned my face, went to my seat.
My boss called me to his office and he says,
"I am going to tell you something I have never done
before in my life."
And he said, "I feel in my spirit Jesus knows what you're
about to do and I have to tell you,
he's telling me to tell you, you are not forsaken or abandoned.
He has been with you since you were born.
[Applause]
When you were molested he was by your side.
When you were kicked like a dog on the floor
he was by your side.
When your knife put on your throat he was by your side.
He was interceding for you that one day you will turn to him.
And now I want to ask you, would you like to receive him as your
Lord and Savior?"
[Applause]
Sid: Well now, you have the conflict of you're in trouble
with Allah, but this is really going to get you
in trouble with Allah.
What did you do?
Isik Alba: At that point I was not thinking anything because
God was in that room.
At first time in my life I experienced the presence of God
and he was real.
I didn't understand the Trinity.
I had no doctrine, nothing, but I knew Jesus Christ was real and
he was hugging me.
[Applause]
Sid: Do you know something, her situation was impossible.
Isik Alba: That's right.
Sid: And guess what happens?
Out of the blue a man calls you on the phone and
what does he say?
Isik Alba: Well that was after my salvation.
I was broke and going through all these trials,
and this man calls, and he says, "My name is so and so."
And I could feel authority in his voice,
first time in my life, feeling authority.
He said, "Sister Isik, we have been praying for you.
We have been praying for your salvation.
Praise the Lord.
And I want you for the weekend to my house,
my wife and I."
He said, "If you come we are going to bless you,
but we are going to give you a Bible study about
the Holy Spirit."
Sid: So you said sure.
Isik Alba: I needed hope.
I needed something in my life and I was not going to a
spirit-filled church that would believe in so many
miracles or anything.
But there was this hunger in me and I wanted to believe in what
he was saying.
I said, "I have no gas in my car.
I cannot make five-hour drive to your place."
And then he says, "I know you don't have that kind of faith,
but I'm going to pray over your car right now and you are going
to make it to my home."
[Applause]
Sid: And?
Isik Alba: And then he continued.
He said, "If you get stuck in the middle of the road I promise
you I will come pick you up, but I serve a God,
I know that you are not going to get stuck."
And I said, "I'm going in my car right now."
I put my daughter, she was almost four years old at that
time, I went inside my car and I said,
in my heart, "I will drive until this car stops."
And I started driving and I made it five hours to his house.
[Applause]
Sid: On empty?
Isik Alba: Empty, completely utterly empty.
Sid: You get into his house.
What does he say to you?
Isik Alba: Well at that time, one of my foot was in the
church, the other one was in the world,
so I didn't have good Bible training,
and I had sin in my life.
So as soon as he saw me he fell to the ground and he started
praying in tongues, and I never heard tongues in my life before.
And those, everything he said came to me without an accent,
perfect Turkish, in my mother tongue.
And he was confessing my sins to God.
He was naming my sins one by one.
I was in shock.
I was here looking at this.
I told a miracle man speaking perfect Turkish.
And then he got up, and he says, he looked at me in the eye,
very sharp, very strong, and he says,
"Sister, I don't know what I said,
but you know what I said.
You take God seriously."
Sid: All right.
Now, let me tell you.
She takes God so serious that the fire of God hits her.
When we come back it not only hit her,
she wants to pray for that same fire to come on you.
Are you ready?
[Applause]
We'll be right back to It's Supernatural!
We now return to It's Supernatural!
[Applause]
Sid: Okay.
I can't wait to hear this.
She has no gas, she travels, what,
four or five hours in a car on empty,
gets to this total stranger's house.
He only knew about her because his church was praying for her
and he felt prompted to call her.
So he speaks in tongues.
It turns out to be perfect Turkish and he states all of the
sins in her life, and then what happened?
Isik Alba: Well I was so committed.
I was weeping and he did this like,
"Sister," and he started speaking to me.
I just passed out.
But when I came back I was a completely different person.
I was transformed completely and all these lies and deception of
Islam left me.
I felt like tons of demons left me at that very moment.
[Applause]
Sid: And she had a supernatural hunger for more and more,
and more of God, and God met it.
One day you go to church and they talk about the outpouring
of the Holy Spirit and being able to speak in a language such
as you just heard in your own tongue.
He didn't speak one word of Turkish.
Isik Alba: Then I was so hungry after that.
I was like, wow, I am serving a God that nothing is impossible,
so I cannot put him in a box anymore.
So I started going to a spiritual church and believing
everything the Bible said about God,
and he did.
And then pastor, one night, made an altar call: "If you want to
be filled with the Holy Spirit, just come to the altar."
Before he even made the altar call,
I threw myself to the altar.
I want to be filled with the Lord's spirit!
Before I even finished, boom, a fire of God,
just like a liquid poured down on me.
My knees were shaking.
It was like electrical power of God.
And I opened my mouth in obedience and
it just started flying.
Butterflies were coming from my mouth and I started
speaking in tongues.
And it changed my life, ministry,
everything.
Sid: You know, with the background you came from tell me
how you have such joy, such peace.
Tell me how.
Isik Alba: That joy is supernatural because we should
have the joy of the Lord as believers,
and it's one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
And I started seeking God's joy in my life because I hadn't
known joy.
I was a believer, I had some joy,
but it was not real always.
And then I pursued God to release his joy in my life and
he did it.
But it wasn't only receiving it, I learned to keep it and
exercise that joy every single day,
and it happened with freedom in Christ,
accepting and receiving my identity in Christ,
because I was feeling ugly and stupid.
I was called and I started every morning declaring I am fearfully
and wonderfully made in God's own image.
And the Word of God started bubbling up within me.
So that joy comes from making an agreement with the Word of God.
I hold hands with God and I say yea and amen to his Word for me.
[Applause]
Sid: You have some six million followers on Facebook,
mostly Muslim.
I imagine a lot of these women that are being abused in Muslim
countries relate to you.
You also do television.
Isik Alba: Yes.
Sid: Tell me the type of women that correspond with you from
when they hear you talk?
Isik Alba: Well they start seeing glimpse of hope and end
of the darkness, and they say, I want to have the joy you have.
I want to laugh.
I never laughed in my life.
And I want to tell you, until I came to America I never laughed
in my life.
Then after Jesus, I started laughing out loud,
because in my culture, only prostitutes or bad woman laughs
out loud.
And now I don't even care.
I just laugh.
God gives me that joy.
[Applause]
Sid: Well I'll tell you what, there are so many women watching
right now in other countries, but also in the United States of
America that are maybe not as abused as you,
but they are abused and they think there is no way out.
Talk to them.
Isik Alba: Well I just want to speak to you right now.
If you are lacking joy in your life,
you've been through trials, tragedies,
maybe even rape, maybe even a raping family,
and you are looking at your circumstance,
and you are saying no good will come out of my life and I can
never laugh.
You have such anguish and sorrow in you.
And I am here to tell you, not coming from a perfect
background, but coming from a mess,
coming from tragedies myself, that God can restore your joy
right now in this very moment because the God that I serve is
God of hope.
And I am speaking to someone right now that whose one breast
is removed because you have cancer and you lost your joy
after cancer.
You overcame that cancer, but you have no joy.
You were not abused, but life really treated you very badly
and the enemy was there.
And I just want to speak, maybe you've been through divorce
right now and you feel so much this label and weight on you.
And God wants to remove that weight from your shoulders and
say to you right now, you're not labeled as cancer patient.
You are not labeled as a divorcee.
You are not labeled as a raped person.
You are an overcomer.
If you receive my Son and his joy right now at this very
moment, I release this joy to you.
In the name of the Son, Jesus Christ,
Yeshua HaMashiach, be filled with Holy Spirit's joy.
Sid: And for those that have said I'm sorry of my sins,
Jesus, wash them away, make me clean,
come inside of me.
Anyone that has said that prayer or saying it as I'm speaking
right now, you pray the fire of God on them right now.
Isik Alba: Amen.
I speak fire right now from top of your head to the bottom of
your feet that you will be filled with Holy Ghost in the
name of Jesus Christ right now.
Your letter will be greater.
The best is yet to come.
You are not defeated or put down.
You are more than a conqueror right now.
Be filled with that fire in Jesus Christ's name.
Amen.
Sid: I'll tell you something, when you read her book,
"I Dreamed of Freedom," you won't dream of freedom.
Whatever prison you're in, you're going to be set free.
Isik Alba: Amen.
[Applause]
Sid: Next week on It's Supernatural!
Tommy Combs: The devil is terrified of the blood of Jesus.
This is Tommy Combs.
Join me on It's Supernatural as I teach how pleading the blood
of Jesus will cause the enemy to run in fear and trembling before
you and your faith.
