EMIRATES ACCOMMODATION I What's an Emirates crew accommodation like? - Duration: 13:49.
I had to clean the whole house so I could show it to you
Hello
Welcome back to my channel and I hope
you are well. Before we continue
Subscribe, follow me on social media
because I always post extra stuff there
when I don't post here on the channel
Hit that like button and share it
Today I'm gonna talk about Emirates accommodation
It's something everyone asks me for
So today I'm gonna show you guys my home
And I'll also give you guys some info on
what it's like to live in a company accommodation
Welcome to my house!
Wanna see it?
So come in and be my guest!
With regards to the company accommodation
and what I think its the most beneficial thing about coming to work here
is that along with your salary package
you're also entitled to
live in a company accommodation
with all expenses paid by the company
You're gonna share your apartment
with minimum 1 person or max 3
I, for example live in
an apartment of 3 bedrooms. It's me plus 2
The good thing is that you'll have your own bedroom
and your own bathroom
Not all accommodations
have a single bathroom
Most of them for sure
But on some of the old ones you might need to share one
Here we dont' need to share anything
So you dont have to worry about rent and utilities
which is already a lot
You're gonna have to pay for internet, tv
all those extra things you wanna use
Visitors are permitted under 3 rules
First, for those who work for the company
They can visit any accommodation without any restrictions
Meaning if I have a friend who is also crew
They can sleep over, no problem
They just show the ID to security and its all good
For those
who dont work for the company
They can only stay until 1am only
Meaning they can't spend the night there
And the third is
I have 30 annual days where I can
receive visitors from overseas, like family and friends
Gym an pool
It depends on the accommodation
There are so many accommodations
So some have others dont
Some are better than others
Here where I live we have gym and pool
2 gyms and 2 pools
Wont be able to show you because they're under renovation
And for the gym rats
It's a fairly good gym
It's got everything you need
All the basic equipment
The company has a system of apartment maintenance
It's a website where all we need
is to login and fill the form on what we need
And usually they're pretty efficient
I'm gonna show you guys my house now
I live with 2 other guys
They're my best friends here
I couldn't ask for better flatmates
One of them is Brazilian, his name is Joao, aka JoJo
And the other is a South African. His name is Richard
And he stays in the biggest room of the house
A fun fact about him is that
we've known each other for many years
We used to fly for Qatar Airways together
We used to be batchmates and flatmates there as well
We I came to Emirates he brought me to this building
"Come live with me. There's a vacant room"
Let's start with the kitchen
Let's start with the hallway that leads to my apartment
This is it
Right at the entrance we have the kitchen
So here is
where everything happens and it's not always
this organised
Just like any other kitchen. Nothing special
So here we have the fridge with
the good old travel magnets
that we bring home from the places we've been
I must say most of these are not mine
I'm not really into this much
So we have here
Moscow, London
Rio, Perth, Adelaide
Tenerife, Amsterdam
Serbia, Hong Kong
Spain, Scotland
Italy, Bali
Argentina, Switzerland
Lisbon, Lyon, Kho Phi Phi
Athens, Sydney, Tunisia
This is my Harry Potter notepad
This is something I use all the time
Nutribullet - it saves my life!
Coffee maker
Microwave
Spices carrousel
This is a life-saver
Since the house tends to get messy when the 3 of us are here
Dishwasher - put everything in and hit play!
Most of the Emirates accommodation
The washing machine stays in the kitchen
It's a kitchen/laundry if we can say so
Now time for the living room
which - after my room - is one of fav places in the house
That couch!
I mean it, it's amazing!
So check it out and let me know what you think
I think it's quite a big living room actually
I think this couch is so comfortable
I love sleeping in it
When I have visitors I send them to my room just so I can sleep here
So this is our movie corner
We sometimes get together here and watch a movie when we can
The dining table
Sometimes bring my computer here
And this is the area I hate the most
Because I just don't know what to do with it guys
Such a messy area
Where we hang our laundry
Such a cute living room and then you have this
We just shove everything here
A lot of boxes here - just don't ask me why
This is Joao's corner
Where does yoga, meditates...
DVDs, cds
We got these Russian Emirates dolls
Here we have the balcony but
it is really dirty
It is this dirty not
because we are dirty but
no matter how much we clean
sand keeps coming back
then it gets the way you guys see
it used to be so organised
griller, grass...
This is the view
of the building
As you can
there is still so much to explore in Dubai still
That's where we make popcorn and watch movies together
Wanna see what Joao's room is like?
He allowed me to do so. Check it out!
Hallway and 3 rooms
2 of those with their bathrooms outside
This is JoJo's room
But don't be fooled by the way it looks
Cause reality is what you'll see now
Check it out
Jokes aside, he's the most organised of us all
"I really am"
His study corner and the place
he's most proud of is this bar
which he never uses but
I must say it's really beautiful
The lamps were supposed to be three
One day I broke one but it's all good
This bar is meant for 2 anyway
A note I left him
His bathroom
Outside the bedroom
Now come check out my bathroom
This is mine! A bit of a forest thing going on
Tarzan-like
It's up to us to decorate the way
we deem suitable
My personal hygiene stuff
Hair wax
Which so many people asked me about on that video
Hair powder as well

Honoring a Legend: Ferdinand T Day Elementary School - Duration: 4:10.
I never saw dad cry a lot.
He was always to me just a strong presence so that my mother would cry, I would cry,
and he would be the strong shoulder.
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible ...
I saw him cry when Barack Obama became president
sitting on the sofa in there.
... who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time ...
Tears just streamed down.
... who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.
Mr. Mayor, honorable members of the council, I am Ferdinand T. Day, and I come today to
represent the spirit of thousands of Alexandrians, black and white, Republicans and Democrats,
all concerned about the development and future of our great city.
He wanted to solve problems that have to do with race, gender, and color lines.
Dad always tried to work with everyone.
This is a book about Alexandria.
I don't know if you've heard about the sit-in when the African Americans went to the library
in 1939 and it was kind of like a quiet protest.
And they were trying to get service.
This is Armistead Boothe.
He was a famous lawyer in 1929-1970.
He represented the city against the African Americans that had gone to sit in on the library
and that was illegal.
So, they called the police.
The police came and arrested the African American youth.
They were peaceable.
Now, Ferdinand ... these guys became very respected friends.
They found each other and they held onto their friendship.
And regardless of what was happening around the city.
The other thing that is interesting with regard to Alexandria and dad's school board work.
When he first went on, remember he told the story about there were some who didn't want
to sit next to him.
Remember from the beginning when he first went on the board and that was interesting.
And then by the end of time he left they were all friends.
And here's Ferdinand right here.
And here I am over here.
You're both on the ends.
I had just joined the club.
The second time I saw him cry was when there was an article in the papers saying that someone
had recommended that T.C.Williams High School be renamed after him and an actual tear rolled
down.
He said I can't imagine that someone would say they want to name a school after me he said.
Boy, that is really something!
Wouldn't that be something Gwen?
And I said oh Daddy, maybe one day.
Maybe one day.
But we didn't dream that this would happen.
And I know he would be happy.
He'd have one of those big smiles and my mother would be saying oh Ferdinand that's wonderful!
I know they would be really happy.

When you're in my heart I'm out of my mind When it's good, feels so good
and even when its bad it's still pretty amazing it's pretty amazing
I know I should leave you for good but I'm keeping you around
I guess I'm going crazy I guess I'm going crazy

You want the control and you know it but Having the upper hand doesn't mean nothing
if you aint got no one to hold it I don't know what you've been smoking

When it's good, feels so good and even when its bad it's still pretty amazing

The Aging Face of Rock & Metal: When The Old Bands Quit? | Andriy Vasylenko - Duration: 8:14.
Hi friends. It's Andriy Vasylenko.
I'm from Ukraine, I'm 25.
And I have never had a chance to meet my favorite bands live.
You know, it hurts to see your heroes getting older, and understand that one day they quit.
Some of them had not been aging for decades, and then made up for that in just a few years.
Now it's 2018. Just think about it: 2003 was 15 years ago!
Musicians who were in their late 30s then, now in their mid 50s
And those who were in their 50s, now are about 70.
Every career must end sooner or later. Just like everything in the Universe. It's inevitable.
So, when they quit? Let's find out. Take it easy.
First of all, let's define what is 'quitting music' in our case.
There're 3 levels of that: 1) stopping touring 2) stopping playing gigs 3) stopping recording music.
We also might count 'stopping writing music', but that would be equal to death
since a composer always has music in his head, even if his hands can't perform it anymore.
The iconic rock bands were born in an era when music was in demand in all forms.
Now live shows became they only bread, since album sales are
no more sales, but rather donations by their biggest fans.
The old system with albums and record labels isn't relevant
for newborn artists which often are single-musician DIY bands.
Only those who had built their (strong) fanbases and images decades before
now can get some money from selling actual music. And even not all of them!
That's why they're touring as hell, and also write fewer songs, comparing to 60's, 70s, 80s and 90s.
But touring is no easy, and human body is not a machine
They have families, children, grand-children.
So, how old can a rocker get and still be touring?
As of 2018, the oldest rock musician who still plays live is
the father of surf rock Dick Dale, he's 80.
The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones are the most lasting bands.
Let's not forget about sir Paul McCartney, who's 75.
and Scorpions and Judas Priest are, perhaps, the toughest grandpas of heavy rock.
Well, you may say "But there's quite a difference between playing this
and this
Human body wears out with time passing, especially our joints.
In general, "aging" and "wearing out" are same terms.
There's even a technical term "metal fatigue".
So, if real metal can become weaker, what than to say about fragile human joints of metal artists.
One of the most frequent reasons of musicians over 50 to go under a knife is back and neck problems.
Often their performance abilitiy cannot fully recuperate after surgery
which might be compounded by depression and drinking.
Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Araya, Dave Mustaine,
each of them has had a neck surgery.
More and more bands, fathers of hard rock are about to retire now
and the reasons are often related to health issues or overall fatigue accumulated over decades of touring.
Black Sabbath quit last year. Deep Purple are on their 'Long Goodbye Tour'.
Classic AC/DC is only Angus now.
And we've lost the whole original line-up of Motorhead.
So, hard rock and metal have already started losing those who pioneered the genres.
Lemmy persisted to the very end, but we should not expect that from bands who came after Motorhead.
[We'll never stop, we'll never quit]
Yes, you will!
As much as I want Metallica to keep thrashing through their 70s, it's not gonna happen
which James actually admitted in recent interviews.
Slayer announcing their farewell tour, even considering that's only Tom quitting completely
that's a sign of what's coming.
You see that losing a key member could be equal to losing the whole band.
There's at least one member in practically every old rock band does with health issues.
That's why everything is so fragile, and more bands are going to quit in the next few years.
So, when it happens?
I think, Metallica will be actively touring
by the year 2025. So, we could have at least one (more) album with a big tour in its support.
Plus, they could make releases such as compilations, another cover album, more reissues, side projects.
Then Metallica makes their 12th album, probably the last one in their career
and gives occasional shows and mini-tours until the year 2035-ish at best.
What about other bands?
Megadeth could release more albums than Metallica (3-4), but quits sooner, perhaps before 2030.
Iron Maiden. All depends on how Bruce will handle it.
Rammstein. There's a big chance that the upcoming album is their last one
but I do hope for one more record and 10 years of touring.
And most of non-metal rock bands who started in 80s are going to be active for the next 15-20 years.
Remember that all could end earlier if a key member's out of the game.
And what's after that?
Of course, there are younger bands who will continue to play for a decade or two more.
But, unfortunately, there are not enough musicians to fill up the emptiness left after the old-guns retired.
They gather the biggest audience, and have the biggest sales.
There's no single rock, not even mentioning metal, band formed in this century who'd gather stadiums worldwide.
Big changes are happening now, and I am not sure where it goes.
That's it for this video. Maybe, I'll continue in another one - what's gonna be next?
I know, this is a prickly subject.
Not talking about that doesn't make that less real
by doing this we have a chance to reestimate something important, before it's too late.
One day it will fucking happen to everybody.
Perhaps, it's time to look at life more realistically and with more gratitude.
Rest in piece all the musicians who are not with us anymore.
They did all they could, they did their best.
It's our time to carry their torch.
See you

SEO Plan for Niche and Authority Sites - GET TRAFFIC - Duration: 1:01:55.
hello what's up Doug Pennington here from niche site project this is the
webinar on SEO for niche sites and we get rolled in here in a second
I will tell you right off the bat I am not feeling well I'm pretty sick I have
a cold I'm pretty sure I have a fever I haven't slept well in days it's a really
sad story I know however I had this thing scheduled this webinar right here
scheduled for weeks so definitely the show must go on I'm gonna take a nap
when I finish up but that said that means that I'm gonna try something a
little bit different one of the first things I'm gonna try and do the whole
time is not coffin to the microphone I'm gonna try and mute it but I'm gonna do
my best to like respect everyone's ears and not to coffin to the microphone
what's up by the way Adriene song in Santiago as well give me a shout it
sounds like everyone can hear me otherwise
folks would tell me you couldn't hear me so what is gonna happen today well we'll
get we'll get started I'll say hello do the Norman normal intro here Karen hi
and then I'm gonna play recording a pre-recorded session on this
presentation I haven't done this much before I think maybe I tried it once but
I figured this this situation better than canceling I can show you something
out of my archive and hopefully that'll work and then I'll come back through
it's about 37 minutes of the presentation I'll come back when it's
all done and then we'll answer questions hopefully me sitting here quietly for 37
minutes well it'll help me to rest of my voice kind of get it together and that
sort of thing and by the way I mentioned it I'll mention it again in a second but
if you have some kind of screen freezes he's so mesh says there's a screen
freeze refresh if there's some some kind of
issue or something refresh it on your side a lot of times that will fix the
issue so okay I need to have more energy at least for the the intro alright
people now multiple people are saying it's freezing it could actually be
freezing sometimes it happens with the webinarjam servers and stuff try and
refresh it though so by the way is everyone seeing a freeze and I'll type
it in because obviously if it's frozen you maybe can't hear me everyone okay
all right yeah see this is the this is the weird game that we end up playing
one person says it and then I freaked out then I start checking stuff alright
so here's what we're gonna do I know a few people
looks like the folks that are joining up it's slowed down and the other the other
thing is if you're not in North America it's probably not unusual for the video
not to be super awesome so a little bit of a lag Marcel I know
you mentioned that I'm mentioning that so you know on my end I'm at least wired
into the wall and have fibre to the house so okay I'm gonna try and start
this video and at the end I'll answer questions so and I'll be in the chat
hanging out with everyone and let's see if this thing works let's see
very strange okay I'm not sure
cool alright I'm going to try and play the video it wasn't a hundred percent
clear 100 percent clear if it was cool let's do it we have several people
on if you're just joining up Doug Huntington here from niche site project
we're gonna get into the presentation which is SEO for niche sites and really
it's a plan and I outlined a plan for you perfect and I'm gonna get rid of the
bookmark bar just to give us a little more real estate
so if excuse me if you are joining up got really excited and talked over
myself there so if it's your first time on one of these webinars or live streams
let me know I'm interested to hear and by the way I think I have a couple
questions throughout so when I ask them you can just answer back in the chat and
I'll you know see if they're and quick note as we are getting a bowling if the
audio freezes if the video freezes or something like that just refresh it also
let me know in the chat but usually if you refresh it you should come back and
it should start working a lot of times if you you know mention it in the chat
other people will say hey it's fine or if I see like everyone can't see it then
I know there's a problem but most of the time a refresh will work okay
I read either the Sam check but I always put this slide in here just to be sure
here's a quote so all generalizations are false including this one
that's a Mark Twain quote at least believe it's Mark Twain and I put that
in here because I'm telling you an SEO plan that is generalized this is
basically a plan that you can use an approach that you can use but there's a
lot of generalizations made and I'm not saying this is the right way to do it
I'm saying this is a way to do it and there are dozens of other ways many
other people have completely different focuses and you know what their ways are
valid too I haven't tested everything I'm just telling you what I've done in
the past and I will mention that you know I said it before there are some
great that's technique so I'm going to mention
here I don't use them by the way and I'll point them out specifically however
I do know that they can't work and have friends and peers that are using this
gray hat methods with great success and it's a valid thing to do is just not my
not my preference so as I mentioned abduct Huntington I'm the founder of
niche site project which is an internet marketing blog and I've been been
blogging there for about four years and that is a picture of my dad and i am i
late dog Brody there at Yellowstone obviously weren't the Old Faithful
geyser which is think like from door to you know the boardwalk there it's maybe
like two and a half three hours so I live really close to Yellowstone which
is awesome it's a great great place so pass okay I'm not sure if I'm back on I
think I should be I think the video I think the video was not where it was
supposed to be and I'm not sure what's up with that I apologize I think I
wanted to cut out some other stuff so I'm gonna try to restart it sorry this
there's always like some kind of tech issue here and I hope this isn't going
to repeat stuff cool let's do it we have several people
on if you're just joining up Doug Huntington here from niche site project
we're gonna get into the presentation which is SEO for niche sites and really
it's a clam and I outlined a plan for you perfect and I'm gonna get rid of the
bookmark bar just to give us a little more real estate
so if excuse me if you are joining up got really excited and talked over
myself there so if it's your first time on one of these webinars or live streams
let me know I'm interested to hear and by the way I think I have a couple
questions throughout so when I ask them you can just answer back in the chat and
I'll you know see if they're in quick note as we are getting a bowling if the
audio freezes if the video freezes or something like that just refresh it also
let me know in the chat but usually if you refresh it you should come back and
it should start working a lot of times if you you know mention it in the chat
other people will say hey it's fine or if I see like everyone can't see it then
I know there's a problem but most of the time or refresh will work okay I already
did the Sam check but I always put this slide in here just to be sure here's a
quote so all generalizations are false including this one
that's a Mark Twain quote at least believe it's Mark Twain and I put that
in here because I'm telling you an SEO plan that is generalized this is
basically a plan that you can use an approach that you can use but there's a
lot of generalizations made and I'm not saying this is the right way to do it
I'm saying this is a way to do it and there are dozens of other ways many
other people have completely different focuses and you know what their ways are
valid too I haven't tested everything I'm just telling you what I've done in
the past and I will mention that you know I said it before there are some
great that's technique so I'm going to mention
here I don't use them by the way and I'll point them out specifically however
I do know that they can work and have friends and peers that are using this
gray hat methods with great success and it's a valid thing to do is just not my
not my preference so as I mentioned abduct Huntington I'm the founder of
Mitch site project which is an internet marketing blog and I've been blogging
there for about four years and that is a picture of my dad and I am
i late dog Brody there at Yellowstone obviously weren't the Old Faithful
geyser which is I think like from door to you know the boardwalk there it's
maybe like two and a half three hours so I live really close to Yellowstone which
is awesome it's a great great place so past track record which I only mentioned
this because a lot of people give advice that just regurgitate stuff but I do
have a past track record I've had successful niche sites I've had ups and
downs I've coached a lot of other people I've been guest blogging talking about
internet marketing different areas which I focus on and I'm a PMP which is a
project management professional so I do internet marketing full-time at this
point I have been doing it full-time for two years but before that I had about
ten years of experience as a corporate or in a well as a corporate drone really
but I was a project manager for software companies did management consulting and
all that sort of corporate and stuff so it's an unusual I think an unusual skill
set that it bring to the table and I have been featured on many places I will
read them all out but I'm sure you recognize some of them and I was
mentioned Derek on social triggers most recently so I always put this timeline
in part of the reason is a reminder for myself so I've had ups and downs like
there were some rocky points for sure the thing is I got a fast start you know
back in the day in 2013 you could start a new site and you could
rank it within six weeks two months three months or so like number one for
like really competitive terms and you'll notice this rollercoaster ride where you
know my rankings dropped and my sites were penalized and I launched a bunch of
more sites and they were penalized too and then like I said two years ago 2015
I got laid off from my job after I worked there for nine years and things
started to turn around at that point of course you see is a low point here
intentionally and most recently sort of this mark here up here I saw the site
with business partner and myself we sold a site for 235 which is really cool it
seems like just unreal considering where we started from so I've had the ups and
downs so part of the reason I don't use the gray house stuff is because of this
timeline here like I said Q&A is at the end feel free to ask questions
throughout you can you know ask questions like Blake did here and thank
you for noting as a question so just I think that layout may have changed just
a tad but the idea is you can use the that's the form there the drop-down next
to the chat area the chat field and then you can mark it as a question it makes
it much easier for me especially at the end so quick note you know why niche
sites why should you be interested in niche sites if you don't have a site yet
so in quick question while I'm talking about this how many people have a niche
site right now just say yeah I have one right now
and let me know in the chat and if you don't say no but I'm thinking about it
or kind of where you're at that will help me shape the presentation or you
know as best I can for the unique audience that we have today
so why niche sites for me it's like one of the you know best ways to get started
the reason why is the start-up costs are low the concepts are simple in theory
and none of the steps are really like super complicated it's just putting
together a string of you know simple tasks in the right order over a period
of time you get the benefit of compound interest you know working on a long-term
project slowly you know improving over time the other part is you build skills
in various areas right so you can focus on SEO portion of it you can focus on
why you have SEO grey hat SEO you could focus on the content maybe you find that
because when I got started by the way I didn't know anything about WordPress
making money online niche sites or anything so maybe you're in the same
position you started playing around with WordPress and you realize you really
like designing websites and working with themes and helping people do that so
niche sites may not be like the end of the road for you or your you know path
to working for yourself but you can learn a lot of skills from
working on their sites that maybe you just stick with that web design stuff
and your web design consultant or freelancer and you could take that and
there are many areas I mean you can end up being a copywriter you could end up
being an email marketer in general so I'll leave it at that but it's a great
place to learn the ropes overall like I said you can get the design aspect you
can learn SEO you can just like learn a bunch of out marketing which is one
thing to happen to me and you know some people turn into like domain flips right
it's a simple a simple concept of buying a domain and hanging on to it until
supposed avaya firm so there are many places to go with niche sites and you
know you could leave I'll leave it at that so so a couple examples of like how
niche sites could work everyone may recognize some of the folks I'm going to
mention here but Dave Fox I coached him back in early 2015 through mid 2015 and
he slowly grew his site - from I think that was about a thousand
bucks or 1500 bucks or so in January of 2016 - well I can't see that very well
but it looks like about six thousand bucks in December of 2016 and he's
consistently making between like five and seven thousand or so I haven't you
know checked with him lately but if this stuff basically changed his life he was
a musician he's still a musician but he would do some music teaching he's a
drummer a guitarist and you know I think he he paints too so he's an artist all
around but he threw you know ton of hard work and coaching with me he was able to
put put together basically a new career for himself okay so I fee I'm gonna take
a quick break and look over at the chat so a few several people do have sites
Cesar Chuck Paul Bobby Shantz Brett Brent is just thinking about it right
now my cousin aside I love cash as a sight shade not right now and okay so it
seems like a lot of people do have site least with a few posts as he Gabriel
just just as one site Audrey you want to get started right
away and ran the let's see cool so it sounds like everyone is getting right
into it either you have a site or spin up for a while and there's a handful of
people that don't so that's cool it's very exciting for everyone for sure and
then other example is Rob so I coached actually I met Rob way back in the day
he was a leader of Mitch that project he just shot me an email and this was like
back in mid 2014 I could tell he was doing well and we formed a mastermind
group so we formed a mastermind group with one other person and through the
years you know Rob and I have been in mastermind groups in some form or
another there was a point where you know I could tell he needed
system set up he needed help with templates and basically areas where my
project management experience but really helped so I coached him through five or
six sessions and these are all on YouTube by the way so I think if you're
on the email list you should get you know links to these hidden videos but
Rob last year in 2016 made two hundred and twenty three
thousand dollars just from Amazon okay so just from Amazon and he has other
affiliate programs that he's part of so Ron's doing really well
so we'll we could see Rob's doing really well and you know like I said he and I
business partners we we sold a site earlier this year and that was a good
thing too so let's get into it this is an SEO plan for niche sites that
works for authority sites too which by the way that's just semantics so some
people call them authority sites some people call them niche sites okay so the
link building is a game of incremental aims and again this is an idea of
compound interest where you know 1% over time really adds up and you know I'm not
saying these tactics in here will give you like a 1% gain every time you do
something but you have to look at it that way you can't just do a bunch of
work and you know a month and then expect it to just magically work out for
you this is a grind this is not easy so there's nothing hard though there isn't
anything like super complicated it's just showing up more days than you don't
show up in doing the work okay there's a lot of text on this slide I tried not to
do that too much but this is just the overview we're going to go over social
profiles and turn a linking blog comments and guest posting web 2.0 blogs
tvN's is private blog networks those two are grey hat by the way
and next and kind of a bonus I'm going to throw
this in is scholarship outreach I'm going to talk about that a little bit
because it's popularized a lot in the last probably like 18 months or so first
we'll get into social profiles so basically these are things you can set
up probably in like an hour right this should take you like a day when you're
launching your site get right into it and on that day one or day two if you
haven't done this yet it's okay because you can go do it very quickly now the
caveat is these are going to be nofollow links so you're not going to be able to
like put these up like put these links up in your social profile and then like
rank number one first okay these are nofollow and they're basically the links
that anyone can get but here's the reason why you want these links they
come into play later they give your site a look of
authenticity and it just makes your brand seem more authentic your website
seem more authentic which is key because when we talk about blog commenting guest
posting you want to have a presence online and use social profiles give you
that now the key thing to do don't forget you need to add your link to the
profile okay you know ID your link to the profile then you don't you know get
that nofollow link but it shows like attention to detail if there are you
know areas where you need to fill out like you were specific details on your
site or what your site is about fill those out right fill in the description
and make it complete make it look like a real profile because it is a real
profile so treat it like one next is internal linking so this area is
shifted over the years a little bit so you'll see I have silos on here as a as
a reminder if some people have heard of silos this is sort of a throwback to
that idea so silos were a way to like structure a site in a very formal way
you'll see this unlike ecommerce sites quite a lot I can't think of very many
off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure like Lowe's the hardware store
pretty sure they have like a pretty tight E or sorry pretty tight like silo
structure the thing is the silo structure doesn't get you the same kind
of boost as you used to be able to get and it could be nice to have like some
loose silo structure but to me there's too much planning required and I note it
here like it requires a lot of planning ahead of time and you have to think
about your site architecture which is not an easy thing right so if you're
trying to plan out your site for like 6 or 12 or 18 months and all the content
you're gonna add how you're gonna organize it
well it's a lot of assumptions that you have to make which could change over
time basically creative work that you don't need to do it's not that important
so what you want to do is you know use the ideas of a silo structure while
avoiding the sort of planning and you know rigorous linking that you have to
do with a silo structure and I noted it here I'm going to show you a link in a
second where you can like read more about the silo structure to get the
basic idea of what's going on now I put in graphic Bruce or like a yeah graphic
form here because it's a little easier to see so you have your homepage and
then again this is the silo you know like you don't have to form your sites
like this in WordPress these would be pages up here and these would be pages
here all the subtopics and the thing is these subtopics would be like the child
of the parent so it's a page this is the
sub topic of the main topic now when you get into it you do this very specific
linking ID and I'm showing you this because it'll help you understand how I
arrived at my current interlinking I guess plan which is just an inter link
on a little bit place you'll see that in this silo structure just by the
definition day day being you know us you would like link very deliberately to and
from each of the post in the fashion that I've noted here I didn't put all
the arrows because it would be hard to see this but these are the main sort of
links of you in city now we need to take away from this is you get the benefit
because the links are there not because it's a parent or a child you get the
benefit because the links are there so what you need to do is link back and
forth all over the place so you don't need to I put like I publish everything
as a post right I don't do any pages I don't do any of this siloing anymore
right you don't get this the wreck like same benefit as you may have a past so
really all you need to do is link interlink all over the place on your
site okay so
if it's relevant if you can link from a relevant post to another post that's
related to it that's the best-case scenario but even if it's not related
that's okay you can still link to it and get you know the positive benefit of
having them these are like these are great because they are links that you
can control you control the anchor text you can
control how many you have and I mean you could change it when you
want to so just remember it's not about the silo
it is really about interlinking through your site and doing it in a deliberate
way next this is starting to give in to external links so we're going to do blog
commenting so people will tell me that blog commenting it's a waste of
something okay so I'll go ahead answer that right away
they are nofollow links so much like our social profiles these are nofollow links
the majority of the time like many of the percent of the time that's okay
because we're doing blog commenting so that we can later get a guest post on
the site so this is literally a networking exercise that is all it is
you're trying to make friends with influencers in the niche or a related
niche and that's why you're trying to do sure you can get a you know a nofollow
link which is fine you know my belief is it's still good to have nofollow links
right it's part of a healthy backlink profile it's just a normal right so when
you look at like big bloggers you'll see that they basically read other people's
blogs and they go ahead and comment on other people's blogs because a lot of
times even high-level bloggers right they're friends with other bloggers and
they read each other's blogs and they comment on it's a supernatural thing to
have and it's not weird right so it's totally fine
the other part is it adds to your backlink diversity which is
good thing right so you can get like more referring domains from different
IPs and it just looks healthy versus like the alternative which is you know
private blog networks which we'll talk about in a moment so you can learn more
at mid site project.com slash blog - commenting so or if you like search on
youtube you can find that - and I go through I think it's like a five minute
video of how I find blogs to comment on the key thing right so you gotta
remember don't search for the same link searching strings that everyone else is
searching for and don't try and comment on your competitors like niche side it's
not going to get approved right you need to go to like non-competitive sites you
need to go to maybe not directly to your link industry or your niche go like one
step over so I'm just gonna make one up like if you have an outdoor site or
something like that like outdoor gear lab maybe you don't like target outdoor
niche sites maybe you go to you know a very specific genre of like outdoor
enthusiasts may be hunting it's like hunting season here I'm not a hunter
myself but a lot of people are very excited about hunting here in Montana
and you know if you you go to hunting blogs they're not as like they're not
going to be your direct competitors so it's a lot more likely that you may be
able to network with them and that's just like one example but like no matter
what your niche is like you should be able to find some related industries
which are relevant I'm going to pause to just have a sip of water here because I
want to be able to talk throughout
okay next is guest posting so because poster natural they are very yeah
they're just very natural they're recommended by you know high level like
marketers and they work right you do need to like keep some things in
mind and basically with a guest post you're able to get like the best kind of
money you can get which is a contextual link in the body not in the bio line and
you're not like in the footer or some kind of weird area you get it in the
content and that's the best way to go now the thing is you gotta have good
content on your site right so you can't put up like some kind of bad crappy post
that some you know writer that you hire from Fiverr like where mm some topic and
it's like pure affiliate stuff you actually have to have like a good solid
post like if it's really long and really thorough that's gonna be helpful and
people will leave the links in to your affiliate content if it's good right so
it has to be good and really a guest post is the perfect step after you do
your blog commenting so you maybe comment on someone's blog a couple times
maybe you shoot them an email or two like they'll know who you are right not
a ton of people comment on blogs I have a blog and like if you comment like more
than once like I'll remember who you are if you do like intelligent comments
where it shows like you know you did something with material or you read it
and you're now like an intelligent question about it or you send me you
know some information about like you implementing what I've talked about I'll
totally remember like that goes a long way if you like to go back to the blog
commenting if you leave a comment which is clearly something like you you didn't
read sorry my phone it's blowing up here driving me crazy I've somehow I've ended
up on a list so I'm getting a bunch of telemarketing calls sorry the assignment
now so the thing is if you leave a comment like hey great post really
enjoyed it I'm not like I know you didn't so avoid stuff like that and kind
of go a little deeper so these guest posts are natural after you do the blog
commenting and basically you can link to your other guest posts too and do like a
link building like a tiered link building structure with your guest
posting ok so you know we'll mention that
guest post can take you know a little bit longer for the link juice to kick in
because a lot of times those are like newly I mean almost 100% of the time
they're newly published posts so that post is coming in with like zero
backlinks right and if you can link build like a good link build to your old
guest post that's a very good thing because it turns out no one else is
going to try and link them to your guest post other than you so you should
probably take a look at doing that moving on to a grey hat tactic again I
don't do these web 2.0 x' but here are some of the pros now they are separate
blogs hosted on different platforms like WordPress comm or like you can get like
a Wix or Weebly there's a few different options that you have for these web 2.0
blogs actually there's there's probably a few
dozen of them you can throw the links 100% right there your blog and the key
thing here is to like make the site look real otherwise it's probably going to
get marked as spam and they're gonna like just disable your account and it'll
go away now the cool things that you control it 100% you can put in the exact
anchor text that you want and or so it can be an effective way to diversify
your anchor text so you can use like you know the naked URL or the brand name
of your site so you can get brand anchor text going to your site now the bad part
is basically these sites have like no authority sure the DA is there but you
really are not getting any like real authority from the page so it's not very
powerful now the service like the ha or several other like it but a service like
the ha they power up their web 2.0 blogs that they set up for you with their own
network and that sort of shelters you from being attached to like that network
which they're probably not very good sites right these are like the the
second tier of links and they're not that great but they power up your web
2.0 which is good and most likely you're not going to be able to like rank number
one just with like web 2.0 blogs but it's a nice way to get like some links
you get referring domain or more referring domains you get anchor text
diversity which is those are all good things down the big con here is your
site can get penalized right like if you do this and like it in a too aggressive
fashion if you're too aggressive about it
same with anchor text you can get penalized if the network somehow gets
discovered or D index like your site directly maybe won't get impacted maybe
you won't get penalized but like its tier two gets penalized or D index than
the power of that web 2.0 block what just goes and then your rankings could
drop now again I don't think you're going to be ranking number one with web
2.0 blogs alone next number six
private blog networks this is gray hat again so I don't I don't do this but I
know personally that a lot of people do and they are private blog networks that
was the reason my sites got penalized back in the day multiple times I was
using PB ends and back in the day we were really aggressive about it so we
were very aggressive with anchor texts were really aggressive with other areas
of just sharing links and that sort of thing so we left huge footprints and a
lot of us got penalized it was very sad it was very sad for one of course the
big benefit is you're getting links that are powerful getting links from domains
that have a lot of backlinks pointing to them so you don't have to do that like
secondary tier of link building and you can get a link directly from the home
page and just like go from there it can be really effective now the thing is
depending on a number of factors right it may or may not be faster than guest
posting like white hat campaign the misconception I think that people have
is that you can get like you can start a new site it sounds like a lot of people
do have like newer sites under 12 or 6 months and age and there's a
misconception that you can like launch a new site by your links and then skip the
sandbox period which is usually around 6 months and there's a little bit more
growth after that I haven't found that to be true I've interviewed about a
dozen like very successful niche or authority site people and using the
general format that we're talking about today the general plan that we're
talking about it takes about six months or so give or take you know six weeks
but about six months to hit first hundred dollar month so it takes some
time for sure now within a year you could be in two thousand or five
thousand dollars depending on number of things how hard you work on it
it's probably the number one and then search volume they never imposed the
price of the product a lot of factors did the point is if you're thinking hey
I'm going to get private blog network links and rank my site faster it's
probably not going to go as fast as you think white hat and grey hat for a brand
new site basically seems to take about the same amount of time okay
so the downside for Pb ends are obvious hopefully but the penalties right so
your site can get penalized and you could work on the site for like a year
and then it gets penalized and your you know two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars site is now worth basically nothing or like a thousand dollars and
it can literally happen like that I think all internet marketers have some
story where they were making you know five hundred bucks a day and then they
got penalized in the revenue went to zero so I have that story I know how
other people do too super sad and I mean I don't have the stomach for it which is
why I don't do this grand stuff anymore now the other part is it can be
expensive right so if you if you like the punishment and you like to you know
manage and network you can set up a PD on yourself it doesn't have to be super
expensive if you're trying to build a powerful you know network you're
probably going to have to buy your sites from or your domains from auctions and
it could be you know fairly expensive now the other part is it's just a pain
in the butt like it's not very fun to running Network it can be a little
exciting at first but at some point it becomes like factory work that's boring
except you're sitting at a computer and my guess is you probably don't want to
like me like you probably don't want to sit at your computer all day and like
update plugins on you know 50 different domains that you're managing and make
sure your sites are up to date and have content
do it like we don't want to be you know factory workers sitting in our computer
will probably want free time so the point is if you're going with PB ends
you may just want to link outsource it and buy your links from someone or
you're paid to rent them Lee's one of my friends Matt diggety over at diggity
marketing you know that may be a good network to get into right it's locked
down pretty tight that's very you know he's sort of on the cutting edge of like
keeping network safe so if you're looking for you know PB n links I would
make sure that you are like not going for the cheapest stuff and make sure
that you know who you're working with okay
so I'll leave it at that so either it's going to be complicated and boring to
set up here now all right we're back I think are we back I haven't done this
video injection thing before at least with the experience can people hear me
or people back alright if you're joining later I know a lot of people join late
I'm sick so I've been coughing a lot so I thought hey I'll just do a
pre-recorded all right cool everyone could hear and see me fantastic okay I
saw a couple questions come in this is now the Q&A portion so if you have
questions now it's time to ask there were a couple in there already so I'm
going to get to that and it turned off my lights since I was off off screen for
a minute all right first question from Duke do I recommend doing content
interlinking yes I think the related post widgets are good ish but it's kind
of nice to like manually put those in I often have both I don't always have the
related post I guess what do you call it again but
think interlinking is a good thing to do
Adrienne says you've seen competitors get directory' do follow backlinks so
some of them are going to be fine so basically Adrienne's like hey a quarter
of the backlinks from my competitor it looks like there's a bunch of directory
links I think some of them can be fine I think if they are free they're
probably not going to be very good but if it costs money the you know in the
directory has to be accepted than it could be worthwhile I think if you had a
portion of those as backlinks it's probably okay I wouldn't want to have
too many of them like a quarter is probably on the high end I would say
okay yeah Cindy you're right I took out the scholarship link section because I
don't know how viable that is anymore so there was like a manual penalty given
out to bunch people in the last couple weeks or so one of them was like the
site that repopulate the scholarship stuff so basically I would say don't
worry about it if you're interested you can go find that case get case study on
ten beasts but basically it was penalize it was recovered but at this point I
would say like don't worry about scholarship links jay says how many
words for a product review post as many as it takes so I would start at a
minimum of like 800 to a thousand words and on up to 15,000 words however many
words you need 5,000 isn't necessarily necessary but it depends on the keyword
and the competition bunch other stuff
all right Karen says you think one of your sites got penalized in early
November ranking dropped all of a sudden you had a few web 2.0 's and some other
links that weren't good you removed them disavow them
what else would you recommend to get out of the penalty did you actually get a
penalty in your webmaster tools your search console because it sounds like
maybe you didn't get a penalty maybe like some of those links just lost their
effectiveness because a penalty like you get an email the that you have like a
manual penalty but I guess if it's not manual maybe you got caught up somewhere
else I guess generally I would just make sure
Karen that so you disavowed that's good you remove some you disavowed and then
from there I guess you know get better links get good links okay Adrian says do
I know of any paid directories that I would recommend no but it sounds like
you know of about 40 of them so like your your competitor has a bunch of them
so go see what they use right Joe what do you normally put any category page
and just whatever the default is for the theme I don't worry about category pages
okay Karen says you believe it was a penalty it was such a sharp drop but you
didn't receive any manual penalty email okay interesting you know what and I'm
not I'm not super experienced in that area but what I was gonna say is I
believe that I guess technically you could have get gotten you could have
been caught up in some algorithmic you know not necessarily an update but maybe
your site went over a threshold for something the other thing is you know
sometimes if you had web 2.0 blogs and they were supported right with like a
second tier then if the second tier gets say D indexed or not recognized than the
power of those links that you had go it goes away and maybe you're not penalized
but you just don't have the links that you used to have instead Santiago says
when will five figure a niche site open Thanks
it's it'll open in like two weeks
I haven't mentioned it oh yeah you know what with my sickness I've been sort of
absent-minded basically next week I'm doing a free like three part email
course right it's a little mini horse kind of getting people in the mood to
get started on their sites and stuff and then the next week the 15th through the
19th is when the course is going to be open so it's only five days that it's
open okay Cindy says in the social profiles do you have to post or just do
the profiles just do the profiles off the bat I'm not a big social media
person so I tend to not to participate too much it may be good to post a couple
things like every like for the first week or something just get a few things
up but you know if you create a YouTube channel for example like you don't
necessarily have to like post YouTube videos you just maybe create a playlist
or to just have a little bit of activity and that's good but generally just
create the profile and then move on
alright Adrienne thanks yeah I hope I can shake this cold soon jay says do I
offer one-on-one coaching yeah sure do I do try and make sure that like I can
actually help you right so I don't I don't work with everyone a lot of times
depending on what you need help on the course is the best option I'm still
working in the prices if people who are on like the livestream yesterday I don't
usually like mention the prices because if I change it and then you are
expecting a certain price then I don't want you to be disappointed so it's a
premium course it's you know in the $600 plus range so there's a lot of
interaction with me that's part of the reason there's an enrollment period and
stuff so it's it is a premium course for sure Karen do I recommend GSA for second
tier no no I wouldn't and that I think you know there was a
time when that could work a little bit but I think the second and third tier
are more important that they used to be e J says can it lift out the ten
priority social media sites Facebook Pinterest Instagram let me pull open the
slides here and by the way there's like a bunch of different social sites so you
could pick pick whatever ones you want so Facebook Twitter Google+ Instagram
YouTube tumblr SoundCloud Pinterest myspace LinkedIn and I mean there are
specific others out there too so you know whichever ones you want and the
point is I mean part of it it makes the site look a little bit more well-rounded
right if you have like your social media links by you know from a networking
perspective like you could actually meet people through the networks Chris says
starting out okay do I recommend a separate hosting account separate email
separate WordPress accounts or when a shared hosting account with separate
accounts be enough to create safety from being penalized so in general if you're
just starting out you don't need to worry about any of that stuff just have
like one site and go from there generally like if you in the first
couple sites like you probably can just put it on the same account but you know
how'd you grow like Rob that I mentioned earlier like he may have each of his
sights on like a different hosting account because they get a lot of
traffic that sort of thing all right long says how can I get the most out of
a backlink I don't know how to answer that really it's kind of a weird
question um howdy can you get the most I mean get
it in the best sight that you can but I think you really want to ask a different
question I'm not sure what you're getting at so you know the anchor text
is important but yeah maybe you clarify your question long Karen says how many
exact anchor texts should we be using for link building the it's not an exact
science but I would go check out actually I should probably do a video on
this go check out HFS they have a couple a couple different analyses on anchor
text and I think like sites so we're ranking number one and number two had
like something like 15 to 20 percent exact match anchor text which is like
way higher than what you know a lot of affiliates would feel comfortable with
these days so I would say if it's a long phrase then you probably don't want too
many matches exact matches maybe one or two but if it's like a pretty you know
if it's like you know best iPhone case something like that then maybe you know
you could be a little more aggressive but in general I do long phrases that
are keyword rich so long sentences Santiago says do I recommend to pay for
infographic directories I don't know much about it so I would say probably
not but if you have like a hunch about it or something then maybe check it out
but you know kind of going back to what Adrian was asking earlier I mean some
directories are probably fine if you can get into paid ones and those are
probably the better ones to get into versus just like free ones that everyone
can get into any kind of barrier to entry is a good thing all right what
other questions do we have here we have all weighing on and I am I'm fighting a
cold so if we have questions I'll feel them
but if not and by the way I am doing a live stream tomorrow again so in a live
stream on YouTube which is the general Q&A so I can field other questions there
hopefully I'll feel better I haven't had any caffeine today so I'm just going to
try and go back to sleep for a few hours I've just been sleeping terrible I got
this new Fitbit here and it's it's cool it like can help you monitor your sleep
and anybody have a Fitbit where they monitor their sleep you know anyone into
that so the thing is like I'm a normal a normal day I'll get maybe actually I can
I can tell you the exact numbers since no one is asking questions and I'll tell
you random stuff that you're not asking about like on a normal normal good day
which it's been a while since I've had a good night's sleep but unlike say a
normal great day I'll have like 50% light sleep 15 to 20 percent deep or REM
sleep and last night sadly it's crazy I went to bed at 8:43 pretty early before
9 o'clock but I only got 37 minutes of REM sleep 37 if deep sleep 67% of light
sleep so I'm very tired okay I bought some time alright
so John's asking a ten-cent question can I speak more about how I approach
keyword research on a site one keyword per page yeah so there's a whole other
presentation on this by the way so I'll just talk about it a little bit but you
should definitely watch the other presentation because I talk about like
longtail stuff so the keyword golden ratio basically I just targeted one
keyword per page you'll rank for other stuff but you know basically you'll
you'll target exactly what you're trying to rank for and then you go from there
you know I don't put any kind of constraints on the writers to like use
key words or not use key words I just tell them to write the article if you
tell them like certain things to put in there certain number of times to you
know use the key words you're gonna end up with like some kind of weird article
and the writers not gonna be super happy I'm just in general if they have to work
with those constraints so J I hope that answers your question do check out that
other webinar on contents really keyword research all right J you were wondering
how I work with writers well you're in luck I hope you Auto subscribe to the
other the presentation next week January 11th same time same place is literally
on scaling content for niche sites so it's like how I you know create or yeah
added a bunch of content and stuff cool and J says you're familiar with the
keyword golden ratio through me you know J I made it up I made up the whole thing
pretty crazy huh all right any other questions yeah so if you check out that
other presentation it should really like clear things up I you know what let me
check I'll put a link in here because I'm not sure if it's on YouTube yet so
I'll hook you up with a link here and I think you can get to the replay to
maybe even watch it on the YouTube side yeah watch the replay you know I think
you could follow the link to get over to YouTube and then you could put on a
double speed or whatever you want to do someone come into the other day I think
it was yesterday it was just your videos are long and I'm like come on man it's
like a livestream free content and you're complaining that the videos are
too long just you know fast forward buddy it's free what do you want me to
do so okay I think that's all the questions and by the way we still have a
handful of people there's 40 people on I did I published a new video on YouTube
today I've been doing more and more interviews to people like the interviews
and I got you know of I was gonna I was gonna cut it off but if I have people
that have been hanging around for a little while I know you're interested
and what I'm saying or at least you're interested in what's going on so
basically I'm curious about like the interviews and stuff so for me in you
case as long videos are good yeah like it definitely is easier to do long
videos in an interesting way it's like you can just keep going and going and
you know funny weird thing like I've been having trouble like when I
published a new video a lot of times like published - subscribers feed and
notify subscribers it's like it won't be checked off and I checked it and I must
have like refreshed and I don't know I was gonna say this video that I'm about
to send a link for everybody unfortunately it looks like it wasn't
shared with the subscribers so like not too many people saw it so it's right
here cool guy named John Robinson digital nomad
so yeah just curious was curious if people are into you know long videos at
least a few people like the long videos I am doing some more sure
one's coming up here soon about three minutes long interviews seem to be
interesting overall so okay cool thanks everyone for hanging around and we'll
catch you tomorrow be sure to subscribe to the channels and okay I see Santiago
says do silos know I know yeah I don't it's too complicated to plan out just in
general so alright thanks everyone I'm gonna go take a nap see you tomorrow

BREAKING! FBI Just Caught In MASSIVE Lie About Shooting! This Changes Everything - Duration: 8:11.
BREAKING!
FBI Just Caught In MASSIVE Lie About Shooting!
This Changes Everything
On Valentine's Day, Nikolas Cruz went on a shooting rampage through Marjory Stoneman
Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida leaving 17 students and teachers dead and many others
injured.
The day after the shooting on Thursday morning the local FBI chief responded to the reports
of a threat shooter Nikolas Cruz made on YouTube earlier in 2017.
Cruz left a comment on a bail bondsman's YouTube channel in September 2017 where Cruz
proclaimed he was going to be a "professional school shooter."
The FBI also spoked of the tip they had received concerning Cruz through their online portal
in September.
As a result of that tip, the FBI opened a counterterrorism lead, yet the bureau closed
the case within the month due to claims they could not positively identify the individual
behind the post.
YouTube's parent company, Google, also briefed congressional staff Friday and said the comment
by Cruz in September was marked as spam and removed by the video's owner shortly after
it was posted and therefore not investigated further.
In the briefing, Google also "acknowledged that it has a role to play in reviewing its
social media sites for content that merits a referral to law enforcement."
Thursday, the day after the shooting, Special Agent Robert F. Lasky responded to the revelations
of the online threats made by Cruz.
Lasky is the special agent in charge of the Miami division of the FBI and has been with
the Bureau since 1998.
Lasky stated – "We do not know if it was the same person.
We, through our database checks, we could not positively identify him.
We're going back.
We're scrubbing the information.
We're looking at it again.
I am not willing to say at this time that it was the same person."
Many Americans expressed their skepticism at the likelihood that the FBI could not track
down a person using their own name with an unusual spelling who had been reported to
the FBI on 20 separate occasions and had the local police called to his home some 39 separate
times.
The YouTube comment was posted by "Nikolas Cruz"…NiKolas with a "K" but somehow
we are expected to believe the FBI had no idea who he was….yeah sure! *eye roll*
In the days since the massacre, people who knew Cruz have described a troubled young
man who was often at odds with law enforcement and made violent posts online.
The FBI and local police have revealed that they had received several warnings about his
behavior.
This was CLEARLY yet another LIE from the FBI.
It seems that is all they know how to do.
Cruz used his real name on social media, not a handle, not a pseudonym, but his legitimate
legal name in real life.
Cruz also used his real name on Instagram where Cruz posted multiple pictures of himself
in a mask with a variety of firearms, as well as pictures of him shooting animals.
The account history stretched back to 2015.
Yet the FBI issued a statement regarding Cruz stating –
On January 5, 2018, a person close to Nikolas Cruz contacted the FBI's Public Access Line
(PAL) tipline to report concerns about him.
The caller provided information about Cruz's gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic
behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting
a school shooting.
Under established protocols, the information provided by the caller should have been assessed
as a potential threat to life.
The information then should have been forwarded to the FBI Miami Field Office, where appropriate
investigative steps would have been taken.
We have determined that these protocols were not followed for the information received
by the PAL on January 5.
The information was not provided to the Miami Field Office, and no further investigation
was conducted at that time.
It seems reminiscent of the Sutherland Springs church shooting when it was revealed that
the United States Air Force did not properly log a domestic violence conviction against
the suspect, which would have stopped him from legally buying a gun.
The Wall Street Journal reported on the contents of the transcript from the FBI tip line report
from a January call.
A woman who was not identified told an employee of the FBI of Cruz and how he had the mental
capacity of a 12- to 14-year-old and had been kicked out of school for throwing chairs at
students and teachers "because he didn't like the way they were talking to him."
She also provided handles for at least three different social media accounts known to be
used by Cruz where he wrote "he wants to kill people" and posted photos of animals
that he had mutilated.
She stated in the call –
"You know how a bird will fly around in the backyard and then hit your glass door,
your sliding glass doors and hit the ground?
Well, that's what happened.
He brought the bird into the house.
He threw it on his mother's kitchen counter and he started cutting it up.
That to me would be a red flag."
The woman also revealed that Cruz had stolen money from his mother's bank account in
order to buy several rifles and ammunition, including one gun that he bought online.
After receiving THIS call, the FBI employee based out of the bureau's West Virginia
tip line center discussed the contents of the call with her supervisor.
The two then concluded there was no imminent threat based on the information provided and
took no further action.
The case was closed in less than an hour with no followup whatsoever.
During the call, the FBI employee asked the woman if Cruz actually stated he would take
action or if he merely wanted to.
The woman replied by reading a social media post by Cruz where he stated – "I want
to kill people."
Washington Times reports:
The FBI was told of a threat accused Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz made on YouTube last
September but never contacted the company to track down its source, missing an early
indicator, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley said Friday.
Someone reported the online threat to the FBI and the bureau opened a counterterrorism
investigation but closed it on Oct. 11 saying it never managed to identify the person behind
the post.
It wasn't until after last week's school massacre that the FBI did track down the author
and found it was the 19-year-old man now accused of slaying 17 people at his former high school,
Mr. Grassley's office said, after getting briefings from both the FBI and Google.
Google would have been able to help confirm the commentator's identity if the FBI had
followed up, Mr. Grassley's office said.
Yet FBI director Christopher Wray issued a statement saying –
"We are still investigating the facts.
I am committed to getting to the bottom of what happened in this particular matter, as
well as reviewing our processes for responding to information that we receive from the public.
It's up to all Americans to be vigilant, and when members of the public contact us
with concerns, we must act properly and quickly.
"We have spoken with victims and families, and deeply regret the additional pain this
causes all those affected by this horrific tragedy.
All of the men and women of the FBI are dedicated to keeping the American people safe, and are
relentlessly committed to improving all that we do and how we do it."
Yet now the FBI is admitting they never even bothered to look into the threat Cruz made
on YouTube.
They did not bother to look on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other form of social media.
No investigation took place whatsoever.
They simply did not bother.
Chasing fictional Russian collusion and playing politics was more important than the lives
of 17 innocent people.
Hating and obstructing President Donald Trump was more important.
Trashing the NRA was more important while four deputies stayed armed in safety and refused
to help as teens and teachers were gunned down.
Anything and everything matter more than the lives of 17 innocent people and that is the
one thing that is abundantly clear.
what do you think about this?

Strawberry Zipper Bag Tutorial | In the Hoop Machine Embroidery | Parker on the Porch - Duration: 8:27.
Hey everybody. tTday we're going to be making this cute little zipper bag by
Parker on the Porch. It comes in these two sizes: this one fits in a 5" by 7" hoop, and
this one fits in a 6" by 10." Both are made the same way, and they can
have different uses. The smaller one can be clipped on to a tote bag and use it as
a coin purse. And this larger one could be a small cosmetic bag, or you could add
ribbon to the top edges here and make it into a purse for a little kid. This
design comes in both unlined and lined versions.
I use the unlined version for both of these because I made them with vinyl. Vinyl
doesn't fray and it's sturdy enough on its own that doesn't need a
lining. You could you add one for aesthetic purposes, or you can make the
version that is lined and make it out of fabric or wool blend felt instead. As
always, supplies are listed in the description box below, so let's get
started!
Run the placement stitch on tearaway stabilizer. Add vinyl or felt. Scraps are
great for small items like this. If your machine has difficulty stitching over
multiple layers of fabrics, use felt instead of vinyl. Stitch the details.
Add felt or vinyl to the back and stitch the outline.
Remove it from the hoop and tear away the stabilizer. Trim any loose threads.
Cut out the stem and set aside.
Now for the bag. Run the placement stitch for the bag outline and zipper on
tearaway stabilizer.
Use a zipper with plastic/nylon teeth that is longer than the placement lines for the
zipper. Tape the zipper inside the placement lines.
Run the tack down stitch for the zipper.
Tape the upper front piece in place. Make sure the bottom edge of the vinyl is
even with the top of the zipper teeth.
Run the next step to attach the fabric to the zipper and tack down the vinyl.
Repeat these steps to attach the lower front.
Run the placement stitch for the leaf applique. You may consider using cotton
fabric or felt to reduce bulk. Add your applique fabric.
Run the tack down stitch. Trim away the excess fabric outside of that seam. Run
the satin stitch which will cover the fabric edges. The next step is the eyes
and nose. You can skip this step and the next one if you'd like. Stitch the rosy
cheeks. Then the seeds. Now you will stitch the placement line for the stem.
Place your stem over this line with about a quarter of an inch of the stem
above it. Since you'll be turning the bag right side out when it's done, you'll
want the right side of the stem inside the bag and face down so the front of the stem
faces the front of the bag. Tape it in place. Run the tack down.
Remove the tape.
It's time to open the zipper. Clip the jump stitch and unzip the zipper halfway
so the tap is away from both side seams.
If you'd like, you can add a swivel clip to the side of the bag. Use a small piece
of ribbon or scrap of elastic like I did to attach the clip. Again we need it to
be on the inside of the bag, so tape it in place like you did when attaching the
stem. If you'd like to add a purse strap instead, this is the time to do it.
Finally, add the back vinyl. Make sure it covers the entire bag and tape it in
place.
Run the final stitch.
Remove the bag from the hoop and tear away the stabilizer
Trim any loose threads and the placement stitches for the zipper as
shown. Cut out the bag about a quarter of an inch from the seam. If you're familiar
with sewing, you'll know what the next step is. It's called clipping the curves.
We do this so the bag will be shaped properly with a nice smooth edge. Use a
small scissors to ensure you don't cut the seam.
Now open the zipper all the way. Turn the bag right side out. Some people use a
hair dryer to heat the vinyl making it more pliable and easier to turn.
Clip the loose threads and jump stitches.
Let's add the zipper pull to make the zipper easier to use. Cut a few inches of
eighth inch wide ribbon and loop it through the hole in the zipper tab as
shown.
Trim the excess.
Use a lighter to heat seal the edges and prevent fraying.
Your bag is done!

CO bac anglais:How Anger Affects Thinking (with script) - Duration: 17:22.
I'm going to talk to you a little bit about how anger can affect our thinking
and decision-making so most of us even when we're experiencing normal levels of
anger annoyance and irritation have probably experienced moments where we
said something we would regret and might believe we had to apologize to a loved
one or a co-worker or something like that but when anger is really extreme it
can even make matters worse so first let's talk a little bit about what anger
does physiologically really anger is functionally about protecting your
organism to survive a physical threat so it has this protective function and to
do that it's basically going to experience high levels of metabolism
where energy is going to be the major function of the day how do I get this
organism to survive the next few minutes higher level orders of thinking may not
be even though there might be sharpness of mind at some times it's really about
survival and so the frontal lobe which is involved in sort of executive
functioning which means planning and judgment and things like that sometimes
doesn't make the best decisions when we're angry and there's been some really
interesting research done on this that demonstrates that when people are really
experiencing high levels of anger and especially if they have high trade anger
meaning they experience this frequently they tend to make riskier decisions that
have higher payoffs and so that can have detrimental effects as you could imagine
in a workplace if you're in finance and suddenly you become angry
suddenly this high payoff higher risk option in fact seems much much more
desirable there have also been plenty of studies that indicate our calculation
skills in terms of just doing simple math actually declines when we're
incredibly angry and aroused

The drama is over (has subtitles :y) - Duration: 4:18.
(excuse me for the background noise) Ok so some uh, posibly good news appeared, uh, appearently the drama is over, appearently em, eh Toxikai apologized or something
And appearently he's not going to start to thread any channel again or for now (I don't wanna scare anyone, I just got informed that he apologized)
So I guess everyone can put their videos in public now as far as I now
So, well, I hope something like this doesn't repeat again because it was definitely pretty stressfull for so many people and scary for so many other people
So uh, if those news are true well then...um, start to celebrate because well, uh, we won I guess?
Well we definitely won...in a way
So uh, celebrate, be happy, live a happy life or IDK, um, subscribe to me, I need money
Um, well, I guess that's all
Hope it hasn't affected that much to you, if it well, try to take a break or something
Maybe it'll help, IDK but um, try to relax a little bit, I guess it will work a whole lot
Well I hope everything stays fine if something like this happens again well, I think everything will be chaos again
But um, I guess he couldn't have done anything anyways cause he's just a kid
And I feel like we could have done something like, IDK, complaining with YouTube or something like that and maybe we would have gotten our channels back
I guess something like that kinda...kinda like that how it works?
But uh, I guess everything is ok now, everything is over so...yay \:y/
We won
And please, try not to make something like this again
Toxikai, if you're watching this well, uh, thanks for stoping this, everything was so crazy, everyone was freaking out
If you wanted to eliminate the- to kill, in a way, the animation memes, well uh, for some time you did it, I mean
Almost everyone was putting into private their memes and animations and, well, Internet, Y-YouTube was without some memes for a while, so
In a way you won but in another you didn't, um...IDK if you should feel proud but now not? IDK
You...we can say that you won but you lost at the same time and the same with us, we kinda lost and won at the same time, IDK anything rn but
What I do know is that uh, I like memes, that's the only thing I do know
So please try to not cause something like this again
Try and everyone else, try to not cause any drama for anything
If you're going to do anything to uh, destroy something on the Internet, maybe you can do it silently to not cause any trouble to anyone because this was pretty scary for so many people
So, I guess tha't all, bye and continue with your memes and be happy
Yeah, I guess that'sall I have to say, be happy and stay safe or all those things and bye

used to diagnose and treat patients back in the old days?
With all the state-of-the-art medical equipment thatt are available today, it is often difficult
to imagine how diagnostic procedures were performed when MRIs, CT-scans, and X-ray machines
were still non-existent.
Wehenever we see old pictures and videos of patients being treated for a certain disease
or condition hundreds of years ago, the images seem like they were taken from a horror film.
And then a mad doctor or looney scientist will suddenly appear, ready to inflict excruciating
pain on their patients.
But as creepy and cold as these medical devices look, they helped save thousands of patients
before.
Here are 18 vintage medical photos that will amaze and creep you out at the same time.

Week in my life | WEEKEND | To my dads (#bored) - Duration: 12:43.
I lost a lot of footage so I'm gonna fill in the bits and pieces using narration tools- sorry for the inconvenience!
*SWOO-SH*
Time for another school day!
I will talk about my lessons at the end of the day...
That is Religious studies, science and then it's French and then it's Maths and then finally it was history
My niece is arguing and I don't like it /:
Then I said something about the fact that the spare bedroom is a mess and I can't use the green screen which I'll needs to do 'I am a nerd' videos
But before I even filmed that, I was talking about how I had lots of 'I am a nerd' videos planned about the
periodic table, Fibonacci sequence and Pi and lots of other things similar to those
sort of things! So... yeah! Not much more to say...
Then I said how I was going to get round to editing day 2 and possibly even day 3 but not until I had my tea and then I said this:
"And a bath..."
being busy editing watching Mars or a girl videos yes I watch puppy and they
still don't know how to use it but it doesn't make exactly feel like a massage
if anything to chance at all this is the proper tingles okay I guess that's to
the forehead and massages and just finished up their day too and sorting
out all of my files and I can download these videos onto the from the and start
work on day free it's a day free is probably not gonna come out until
possibly Saturday and and I've also just changed my sleep routine and on a Sunday
I'm gonna go to sleep a half eight on a Monday
half seven on a Tuesday half nine on a Wednesday half nine on a Thursday half
eight again and and then Friday and Saturday I'm on my dogs I can sleep
however long I want ahem so yeah I should become some better
sleep of course today's Thursday and I just ate in the intro walking off yeah
don't really know how else to say so yeah
day three I mean day two will might come out tomorrow if it's not out today
hopefully it's today and I'll film myself publishing it to show how long it
takes to upload but I think I did pretty good with this video I sped it up a ton
the original raw footage and was 1 hour and 50 minutes long now it's 12 minutes
long Lanna is a big difference and we also
missed the ice cream truck because my mum didn't have any money I really
wanted an ice cream and but tomorrow I will be going to my dad's and I'll be
full of in there I don't want to do as much as I'm a dad since of course it's
the weekend my dad's ice hockey very fate but yeah
we'll see what we'll get up to then and another and what else I'm going to be
doing today oh I don't even know if Caitlin's
sleeping on earth she'll probably ask questions made the bed butcher just
watch his TV in bed and we're now doing it so every time i'm philomon
i must tell her beforehand and she so that she can give me permission to film
shows my knishes only one year old other nurse but I need
permission from her to film I know that's the sort of nuisance she is and
yeah I'll see you whenever I don't honestly know but yeah why don't I just
add this clip okay bye I forgot to film the Youtube upload
I don't even checked on it yet from pretty sure it's finished it's been
three hours so I hope it's finished that again my my laptop does shutdown by
itself every now and again yeah it's time to go to bed I guess and yeah fain
does is mumble going to tell us so just give me a second
then night
so I'm here on my nothin stop messy - this is the sitting room by the way mr.
irony - the spare bedroom in my mom's we're doing a whole tidy up and it's not
looking the best yeah I've just been I just had loads of subtitles for my
videos because I do French and English subtitles for the United Kingdom and the
United States and for France and Germany and every now and again I also do
Spanish so yeah do you promote the community um I've been doing that I've
completely finished and I'm uploading day free and now I'm busy editing day
for and it is gonna combine with today because I don't do much on the weekends
to be honest I'm just gonna combine em day for with the rest of the weekend and
I'll just call it the weekend video and so it'll be a daily four to seven the
last day I'll check my oolitic so I'm doing pretty good to be honest
considering I've not got done many subscribers of you so ever and I've been
doing a lot of editing yes I was gonna say a bin I mean a lot um and I've been
adding nodes of tags to my videos but it's surprisingly fun to add subtitles
to videos and considering me a gas like advertised for doing it it it's worth it
so if you want to add subtitles to my videos please go ahead it's there's a
link in the description to doing so but I don't be stupid because then it's just
gonna waste your time because I have to decide whether I like the subtitles you
have provided and I'm just not gonna accept it if you do stupid things there
are gonna be some Community Guidelines in
the description to just that you know how I wanted my subtitles because I've
got a specific fashion that I really like and I would like lots of
punctuation because I'm a dipped into it
yeah next week I'm gonna be doing and part two to the week of my life
or season two or whatever you want to say and so yeah we'll see when I get up
to so I've just one shot very nice and but I also lost a note I got
pickpocketed more on that in the description actually
no no no no no I'll add it as subtitles so if you enable English United Kingdom
subtitles were only feedback and more information for people editing the
subtitles it's there so it's not gonna be what I'm saying or whatever what's
happening and yeah yes I do add lots of subtitles yes yes wow that's that's a
lot isn't it my team whatever it was tasty and so yeah I've been helping my
dad sell some stuff on gumtree
anyways and good night I'm gonna move to Saturday Saturday on a Saturday I go to
church I don't exactly uncertain myself for you Christian but
I'm a science guy I I say like I'm saying for Christianity like I believe
that Christianity is a metaphor for the true meaning of life pretty much
ahem our religious studies teacher although I'm talking about my granny
bird yeah and right now I've just been doing more captions doing more time
pretty much the same in yesterday back from church to church specify which one
and books and yeah not been doing much at all
and so I guess we're just gonna move on to Saturday Sunday book so seriously
don't do much on the weekends yeah today I am going home so I'd by the way yes
I'm wearing the same shirt except it's not the same charity it's just a stinker
pretty much say really just the same as it's been the rest and so I guess the
next clip I'm probably gonna be in my mom's clothes again not much to a my dad
you

It's All Over For Robert Mueller After This Trey Gowdy Beat Down - Duration: 20:52.
It's All Over For Robert Mueller After This Trey Gowdy Beat Down
The Deep State was on the hot seat.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was forced to answer for Robert Mueller's partisan
witch hunt against Donald Trump.
And it's all over for Robert Mueller now that Trey Gowdy dropped the hammer on his
investigation.
Gowdy took Rosenstein to task for the conduct of the investigators on Mueller's team and
their obvious conflicts of interest.
This questioning was especially important because of the bombshell revelation that two
FBI agents on Mueller's team had referred to the Russia investigation as an "insurance
policy" against Trump winning the election.
Gowdy was livid and tore into the Mueller team while questioning Rosenstein.
The Daily Caller reports:
"REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN TREY GOWDY AGGRESSIVELY QUESTIONED THE PRESENCE OF A SPECIAL COUNSEL
IN THE RUSSIA INVESTIGATION WHILE QUESTIONING DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL ROD ROSENSTEIN WEDNESDAY.
DURING THE HOUSE JUDICIARY HEARING, GOWDY NOTED THAT THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF APPOINTING
A SPECIAL COUNSEL IS TO GET RID OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.
HOWEVER, THERE SEEM TO BE NUMEROUS CONFLICTS OF INTEREST ON ROBERT MUELLER'S TEAM.
"THE REASON WE HAVE SPECIAL COUNSEL IS BECAUSE OF A CONFLICT OF INTEREST," HE SAID.
"WE DON'T LIKE CONFLICTS OF INTEREST BECAUSE IT UNDERMINES PEOPLE'S CONFIDENCE IN BOTH
THE PROCESS AND THE RESULT."
"AND THEN, LO AND BEHOLD, THOSE THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO CONFLICTS
OF INTEREST SEEM TO HAVE A BIT OF THEIR OWN," GOWDY DECLARED.
GOWDY WALKED THROUGH THE VARIOUS CONFLICTS IN THE SPECIAL COUNSEL'S INVESTIGATION,
INCLUDING A PROSECUTOR WHO SENT A "FAWNING EMAIL" TO A FACT WITNESS, A TOP INVESTIGATOR
WHO SENT PRO-HILLARY AND ANTI-TRUMP TEXT MESSAGES, A PROSECUTOR WHO ATTENDED HILLARY CLINTON'S
ELECTION NIGHT PARTY, AND FBI OFFICIALS WITH CONNECTIONS TO FUSION GPS, THE FIRM BEHIND
THE INFAMOUS TRUMP DOSSIER."
Mueller's investigation is a sham.
There is no evidence of Russia collusion.
And after the explosive revelation that it was nothing more than an "insurance policy"
cooked up by two members of the "resistance" inside the FBI, Mueller should resign, end
his probe, and
exonerate Trump.

Quick Tip: Reverse Stamping Distress Oxide ink & embossing folder - Duration: 1:39.
Hi Gerry here from Gerry's Craft Room and welcome to my channel in this video
I'm going to show you how I did reverse stamping with an embossing folder
reverse stamping is taking away ink this way you get the lighter print on these
older cards I also used the same technique you can also use stamps for this technique
but I wanted to show you another way to use your embossing folders
I'm going to use distress ink and I'm applying direct to paper with my ink pad this way
you get a nice even layer of ink I blend the middle a bit with an ink blending
tool with both colors I'm holding my cards with a piece of scrap paper so you
don't get fingerprints the ink stays wet a little bit longer when applying direct
to paper instead of when you use it for stamping I'm spraying the embossing
folder with a bit of water and as you can see there are some drops on it this
is too much as you will see in the print but I still wanted to show you the
difference the second print with the other side of the folder gets a light
mist and the print will be much better my camera is a bit too low for filming
spray mist you want to mist at at least 30 40 centimetres distance I let it air
dry and then you get this kind of velvet like look which is really pretty
and this is the embossed background I made for the card and as you can see you
get a totally different look I'd love to hear what you think if you would like
other quick tips let me know in the comments below and I'll see what I can
do don't forget to subscribe and I'll see you in the next video
thanks for watching
