At a lean-to shelter, filming the stars on a cold night - Duration: 10:32.
Hey guys. It´s a cold, starlit evening
Lets go and shoot a starlapse of the northern sky
I have another camera with me for that
We´ll head to a lean-to shelter, and while the camera is shooting
we´ll make a fire, some coffee and just hang out
We´ll of course see how the starlapse got captured
We´re at Kintulammi camping area at Tampere (Finland)
The area was just established in late 2017
We´ll return for an overnighter in a better time
I´ll show the area better then, but for now
we´ll go straight to Kintulammi lake
it should be a good view from the lake towards north
There´s also an old lean-to shelter and a fireplace
We can make a fire there
So the camping area was officially started in late 2017
But the forest here has remained untouched for quite some time
I used to come here often for hikes and I know the area well
The camping area was already planned in 2007
It took ten years for the town officials to get it going for real
Now the area is finished with marked trails,
some new lean-to shelters,
new firewood sheds that
have been filled with firewood
It turned out pretty good
The amount of people exploded of course
I used to hike pretty much in solitude here
not anymore with all the people here
I need to find new quiet nature areas
This is Kintulammi hut
it´s a rental cabin owned by the town
there´s nobody here so it´s okay we cross the yard area
It´s not uncommon that it´s very loud here
If there´s a group of people here
Ahead in the darkness is Kintulammi lake
Kintulammi is both the name of this lake, and the hiking area too
Here´s the lean-to shelter spot
that is the firewood shed
and over here
an old lean-to shelter
with a campfire place in front of it
We´re right at the lakeshore
the ice starts here
now to look for a good spot for the camera
Someone´s been ice fishing
I know the lake well
I know where the ditches are, we came past them
ice could be thin at the ditches
in this part the ice is thick and it´s safe to walk on
It´s been very cold and the ice is thick probably at the ditches too
I ran into a little problem here
I remembered wrong where north is on the lake
and how the lean-to is positioned
If I film towards north, my campfire light glare
could be seen too much in the picture
not good at all I think
I need to figure this out so that
the light from the campfire doesn´t ruin my nightsky footage
The stars are out very bright
The Big Dipper is very clear of course
it´s in a very upright position at this time
Everything is ready for shooting
I framed the picture so that
Polaris is in the left upper third in the picture
the sky appears to rotate around it
in reality it´s us that are rotating of course
nevertheless it appears so that the sky is rotating
The treeline is outside of the frame
In best case scenario I like that the forest is in the front
I think it looks great when the sky rotates behind the woods
I can´t fit it in the frame this time
The light from the campire would be seen on the trees
This should be fine anyways
Let´s get the camera shooting for two hours
I´ve been now using a firesteel after some time
I practiced a lot with these in past years
Lately I´ve used matches instead
I think matches are very likeable
and somewhat traditional too
A firesteel is often called ´tulus´ in Finland
That is not right, since ´tulus´ is traditional flint and steel
it´s not that far back in time when ´tulukset´ was still used
and the old meaning of ´tulukset´is not forgotten yet
So I don´t like to call firesteel a ´tulus´
I´m just calling it firesteel
it´s common in English too, so...
Not that it really matters,
I´m sure many people know what the word ´tulus´ originally refers to
Having a campfire is awesome at -15C (5 Fahrenheit)
Even the first emerging heat feels great
It feels very chilly out here tonight
The temp should be at around -15C
if I had to guess I´d say -20C at least (-4 F)
Maybe it´s just me feeling chilly easier today
Could be a humidity issue also
Temps might alter in a pretty small area too
with altitude difference and such
I don´t have my own temp gauge with me
so I don´t know exactly how cold it is here
A starlit sky is amazing to look at
People have always been looking at it and wondering

"the Bear´s Origin is on the shoulder of Otava (the Big Dipper)"
Old time hunters had a tradition
A bears skull was to be returned in to the forest
hanged up on an old pine tree
only that way the Bear´s soul could return to the stars
We as modern time humans don´t see the stars as that mythical anymore, but
it still remains a huge mystery
what the universe holds in it

The name of the recipe is Chilli Lotus Stem

150 grams lotus stem
1 tablespoon of garlic finely chopped
1 tablespoon of ginger finely chopped
4 green chillies cut lengthwise
According to salt taste
1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon of soya sauce
1/2 tablespoon of black pepper powder
1 tablespoon of corn flour
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
1 bowl of red, yellow and green bell pepper cut in squares
1 onion cut in round slices
1 bowl of a spring onions cut in small pieces
2 tablespoons oil
And water
To start with we'll scrape lotus stem gently with knife
Like this we'll strips all the stems
Cut them into thin slices
Put all the slices in water and washed them
Next in a cooker we'll put all the slices
Add little water, salt and mix it
And cook it until 3 to 4 whistle
Next in a pan put 2 tablespoons of oil, garlic, ginger,
Green chilli and saute for 2 minutes
Then soy sauce, boiled in it The lotus cucumber, salt
Black pepper powder and white Add vinegar
Next put bell pepper, onion, tomato ketchup and mix well
In small bowl put 1 tablespoon of corn flour and put little water and make a paste
Put the paste in the pan and mix well
Put spring onion and cook it for 2 minutes
Yummy delicious full of fiber Chilli Lotus Stem is ready to serve

hi sharks my name is Ali lessor and I'm the
creator of the children's clothing line cozy bug I'm asking for $50,000 in
exchange for 25% of my company most kids outgrow their clothes every
season and it gets really expensive however our pillowcase dresses grow with
the kids and the way they're designed they sit here at the neck and then we
use these beautiful ribbons that tie at the shoulder allowing for growth under
the arm and in length now eventually the kids sprout so much and then you just
put on a adorable pair of leggings or shorts and you have another outfit for
years to come Cosette is 4 years old and she's in a size 4 this is Morgan who's 8
years old and she is still in a size 4 I'm a southern girl now living in Los
Angeles and my mother-in-law in Alabama started mailing us the most adorable
monogrammed pillowcases for my daughter Cosette Cosette is cozy bug that's her
nickname and whenever she wore them we would literally get stopped four to five
times a day by mom saying where did you get that outfit and that's when I
decided to pillowcase the world our pillowcase dresses are not actually made
from pillowcases we use really fun vibrant fabrics we have jackets jeggings
shirts and of course every outfit needs a matching hair bow which we've sold
thousands of I have taken cozy bug just about as far
as I can with my contacts with your help and expertise we can make cozy bug an
international brand and take it places I can only imagine so come on sharks who's
ready to pillowcase the world okay thank you girls say back to the Sharks oh man
is the concept of a pillowcase dress something that's been around in the
South forever she said yes oh really yeah how many people are in your company
me yeah yeah what's your background I was in sales I've been in sales for 20
years and had my daughter Cosette and they were not letting me pump my breast
milk at work and I told my 26 year old female manager I need to pump and she's
like oh we don't have time for that right now you're gonna have to wait so I
told my manager I'm sorry I have to go do this right now and she's like you can
get your stuff and go home fired me oh my yes and yes so I sued her
one and I'd money just start my company Wow good for ya great story I can't
believe somebody would say that you're a female in that

place we sell is online in just 30 days we sold over $300,000 worth of dollars

line called dance bug so tattoos and all that why would you know you found this
remarkable niche would you want to bother competing with everybody else in
the children's lines making you know ballerina dresses and coats comes right
just bet you've got you've got the ability to differentiate yourself from
everybody and it's making you a boatload of money
why not be great at one thing I don't agree with that because QVC that's why
mark knew about fashion he would know that women when you start with something
and it's a great concept and people are loving it they want more and that's how
businesses continue to grow and grow and grow your business as well they try to
get in fashion mark right because so many fashion companies just stay in
business they all stay in business none of them ever go out from expanding their
lives we're not in the fashion business
okay here's the way I see it the biggest mistake many many entrepreneurs make is
that they tried to do too much it too soon and it kills them and they go out
of business I like to sit for the stars I see me going everywhere glad you told
me that because to me it's better to dominate it one thing and then build off
of that by going too wide typically companies drown and so for that reason

I'm not here just for money I'm here for a partnership
I have tried countless times to even get phone numbers or contacts of the buyers
at the big-box stores it's impossible it's a secret society all right let me
let me clear the field a little bit I can't really offer you the expertise in
terms of what you're doing and your expansion plans let me get out of the
