Ask Limo U Show: Episode #93 - What was your goal at ILCT Vegas your first time? - Duration: 8:40.
so bill typically the operators and the members across the nation have some
great questions for you but I think I have a great one for you that's better
be good or you'll never be on another episode I think so I'm taking a chance
here and I have no idea what it is yup but I did some research and I was kind
of looking back and I saw that your first IL CT show was in 2007 is all
right long time ago yeah it was awhile ago now
I was pretty young at the time was in about elementary school so you think
that's funny so just curious way back then going into
that show if you remember what was your number one goal at that show in Vegas
I've been in the industry online for about eight months
I've only been to one show which was the LC TV show at Mohegan Sun Casino so I
would say my number one goal was really networking from the affiliate standpoint
to acquire affiliates that was probably my number one goal and but I think even
bigger than that was my number one fear I was really nervous because I was
speaking at that show my first speaking engagement one I'd really didn't know
that many people at the LC TE show George Jacobs but from Wendy said you
had started a relationship with and he introduced me to some people at the LC
TV show Tammy sue Kochi Oh Dawson brother Maurice Brewster Tom Naza God
rest his soul who else I know there were some other people I did dinner ed
Kolbert who was with Boston Kochi affiliate managed at that time now with
Commonwealth Matt altough from Savoia so I walked out of the first lct East with
two affiliates Boston coach and Savoia which was great so going into the big
show Vegas il CT I've never been there before you know I wanted to come out of
there with a lot of affiliate business so that was my primary goal didn't I was
like everybody else I didn't have a strategy not like the stuff I tell you
guys to do to have a plan and the strategy and write your emails ahead of
time I was like everybody else I just didn't know what to expect so that was
kind of the goal but that session that I was speaking on believe it or not I mean
you're probably like fourth grade 2007 I was talking about social media so
sitting here today and what we do with Facebook Ads and AdWords an online mark
it's ironic and I'll never forget at the end of the session I was I was really
really the beginning of the session I was nervous that nobody was gonna show
up and when that first person showed up and came and sat down and like the 30th
the row because the room was sat for like 3 or 400 people like hey come on up
to the front you know we can talk to each other because nobody else is gonna
be here nobody knows who I am and nobody knows what the hell social media is in
2007 either so kind of the other funny part was and you may not even be aware
of this but was the only social media platform that phew I asked him at the
end of my presentation who's heard of lengthen who's heard of Twitter who's
over to Facebook they're all brand new like in 2006 and 7
nobody maybe one or two people are raising their hands but then I get to
anybody heard of MySpace and everybody their hands go up everybody was on
MySpace at that time which is yeah you know not even around any longer so I
think I was really fearful of that I was really nervous even though I'd done
public speaking before but you know really my plane and going in without a
plan but my goal was to acquire affiliate business and learn and get
education it's so vastly different today because this show that we're getting
ready to go something heck just by the time this airs it's only a couple of
weeks away right the education is gonna be phenomenal the NLA has done an
unbelievable job with the education it's kind of gone from a Monday Tuesday
Wednesday show into you know Sunday I mean with all the stuff we're doing you
know we've got a Google AdWords session on Sunday for 90 minutes we've got
another 90 minute session you know on search engine optimization that I'm
doing there's the Chosin payment sponsored I
think it's B 2 or B 4 Network but that starts like 4 o'clock on Sunday that is
a hundred percent speed affiliate networking that everybody that wants to
play it business should be attending and all that stuff is before the show even
officially starts on Monday and then you got all day Monday in the show floor in
the education and Tuesday and Wednesday there's a lot of great stuff that's
going on then you have all these different breakout events like the
mastermind group that we're doing on Monday and Tuesday yeah by the way I
think we still have one or two tickets still available for that if you want to
sign up I'm sure somebody'll throw the link into this so I'm probably more
excited about this show and I'm sure you are too being your first Vegas show
can't wait that you're going - and with the team but that one was
really just about affiliate networking was probably more fear than it was
excitement going right first makers show most area to speak yeah first one you've
ever been to yeah absolutely I mean when you don't know anybody
yeah no at all so that's it but like social media and look how it all comes
around and now look at what we build it well I mean it's it's kind of funny and
you know people ask me how I built my brand in this industry and it all
started speaking at that show and but it really from that point on has been about
social media it's what I've done on Facebook and Twitter you know and
lengthen and all of that type of stuff right you know I look at over the last
11 years how that's manifested and you know today it's as we're filming this
show I literally did a live broadcast this morning telling people the mistakes
they're making with not optimizing their job description and profile on Facebook
they're not thinking of Facebook as a search engine algorithm and people that
are searching for that or when people are like trying to join our group like
our limo growth group and you know if your name's Tom Smith and your job is a
garbage man or a web designer or something we're not letting the group
yeah right so if it doesn't say Tom Smith owner of Tom Smith limo or
whatever it is you're not going to get in and your clients are thinking in
those same terms right you know and then we see similar things that happen on
their LinkedIn profiles once again two huge social media channels that can
impact your brand and impact your business building skills so I look
forward to that stuff that's so kind of how I built my brand mm-hmm and that's
but I think it all started with the fear that I had going into that first show
well that's the kind of value that people are gonna be able to get at this
show this year in Vegas I know I'm excited for it I blame this one LCP show
in the last 11 years well one Vegas show and you know I can
tell you that I think I just see em getting bigger and better every single
year and you look at the content and praise God for the the work and the time
in the efforts facili that Doug Schwartz and Diane for geek on the NLA you know
show committee boards have put in to this I commend them tremendously because
they not only do they do an excellent job but the amount of time that goes
into this but then right behind you know this is
show season I guess right now because you know literally a month behind this
show we've got lab live right here in Nashville not gonna want to miss that
event and then about three weeks after that is the technology summit you know
in South Beach once again another lct event that you're not gonna want to miss
it's gonna be the first technology some it's not the leadership anymore it's a
technology summit and I'm privileged to help put the the content the speakers
and everything together with Sarah at lct for that we have my good friend who
you got to meet a few months ago Sam Mallikarjun Tom's gonna be a speaker
I'll be speaking down there really talking about tech and how it applies in
our business and moving forward over the next 10 years I'm sure there'll be a lot
of discussion about autonomous vehicles and you know that type of stuff so I
would highly recommend that one take advantage of show season we've never had
a technology summit like this in South Beach and if you're on the fence about
lab live I promise you you have never attended a bet our industry about what
you're gonna get right here not in this office it's about 50 yards right up that
road up the hill but the guests that we have coming in the the access for that
is going to be enco we're getting a little bit off topic here but I know I
love live events and you know I love the stuff that I mean I just think the value
that's being driven to you know the the people in this industry it wasn't as
robust as it is today well thanks for sharing Bill and I tell you what I'm
excited for the technology summit I'm excited for lab live and I'm excited to
see you guys in Vegas and excited to see you on the next episode of you know my
new truck they asked limo

#UofTStartup Stories: WinterLight - Duration: 2:14.
A woman is standing next to a sink that is overflowing with water and a boy is reaching for a cookie.
The boy is handing a cookie to his sister. She is telling him to keep it a secret.
Generally, I think that Alzheimer's and other types of neurodegenerative conditions are one of the biggest challenges that we're facing as a society and I think it will only become a bigger problem in the future.
During my Master's I had an experience to actually meet with people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.
And that experience really pushed me to want to do something more, beyond just publishing research papers on the results.
But actually creating technology that would make a difference in their day-to-day lives.
WinterLight Labs has basically developed machine learning technology that listens to very subtle aspects of your speech and language.
To make inferences about your state of mind. So we focused primarily on people with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
And we present them with an image to describe. In about 45 seconds we pull 2,000 different aspects of speech and language.
Pass that into advanced machine learning and then predict aspects of whether they have mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease, or a host of other kinds of neurological conditions.
And there is... you can see the living room in the background. There is a plant, a TV remote control.
Commercializing technology is incredibly difficult.
Commercializing medical science technology is sort of one order of magnitude more difficult.
Having someone like the University of Toronto help you in the early stages is incredibly important.
We were part of the Creative Destruction Lab at Rotman and that was really something that pushed us.
To transform us from four researchers who had a cool idea for technology to four people who had a real startup.
That was developing software that would be useful to people in the real world.
And the help and the advice that we got from our mentors at CDL was really invaluable.
And really pushed us to work very hard during that first foundational year.

The Secret to Relationships - Two Minute Message - Duration: 1:45.
- Hey everybody! Daniel Fusco here.
Welcome to today's two minute message.
Listen, everybody has relationships,
and relationships are hard because none of us are perfect.
Right? And that includes you.
Not that anyone else isn't perfect.
You're not perfect either.
You put all these imperfect people together, it can be hard.
So how do we transform relationships?
Whether they're romantic relationships,
marriage relationships, within work, family, neighbors.
I've got three simple steps, and I love these three steps.
First, upward, why? Because we should start giving thanks
for the people who are around us.
Before we start passing judgment on how they're handling it
or how we're handling it, we can just
be grateful they're in our lives.
I learned that because my mother passed away
when I was younger. I miss her every single day.
I'd love to fight with my mom today.
So you go upward,
you thank God for that person in your life.
Second, you go inward. Listen,
you are a player in every issue that you have.
Right? You are the major driver of it.
So, before we go outward and look at other people
we need to look in our own lives and say,
"What am I bringing to this table?"
Because each one of us impose ourselves
on the struggles that we're having.
And then three. You go outward.
And you love outward.
The idea is you take whoever that person is
and you just choose to love them self sacrificially.
And you noticed I used upward, inward, and outward,
which is the name of my brand new book
that you can get wherever books are sold.
Audio book is available. E-book is available.
So here's how I want you to respond to this message.
First, I want you to share it. You know why?
Because everyone's in relationships.
And we want relationships to be better,
stronger, and more fulfilling.
If we're gonna be in them, they might as well be good.
Second, in the comment section,
I want you to tag somebody who's a great example
of loving outward, by living a life of gratitude
and owning their side of it.
We all have those people in our lives.
And we wanna, in a way, praise God for the people
who are great examples of strength in relationships.
God bless you guys today.

Welcome to The Dress Up Mom.
Hi.
Thank you so much for watching this video where I show and tell you about the outfits
that I pick out and wear this week.
Tonight, we're going to a "dress to impress" party, and I thought I would put on my kimono
here, my long kimono and wear this tonight.
I feel always very magical and mystical and lovely in my kimonos.
So, I just have it paired with a little tank underneath and then I put this corset belt
from Love Strength over it and then just a little skirt under here.
But, I thought I'd, you know, just show a little bit of leg or something.
And then, with my--finally my little Sven clogs, these silver Sven clogs that I think
give it a little bit of oomph.
So, I think this is dressing to impress.
Hi, today I have on this jacket that my son thrifted for me as a Christmas present and
I just really love it.
I think it must be somewhere from, I don't know, Central America or somewhere.
And, I love the colors and the sort of print of it.
And, it's just kind of nice with pockets and a little slouchy.
It feels very comfortable on.
I have it paired with these Chanel pants that are just amazing.
I picked these up, these are vintage Chanel, I got them from ReLove in San Francisco.
I troll their Instagram feed, I know the owner there and get a lot of stuff even though I'm
here in San Diego.
And I have them with these, my green little Rothy flats.
These are environmentally good shoes that also are comfortable and feel really great
on, picks up the green.
And then I did not feel like doing my hair today, so I ended up putting this turban on
over it.
This is from a local designer here, Jennifer Grace in San Diego, and I think it makes everything
feel a little bit more fun.
Today, I have on this really cool St. John Knit dress that I picked up here in San Diego
at Flashbacks several years ago.
I felt very fortunate to find this.
I think it was from the 80s and it had these really big shoulder pads in it that I just
removed, so know that you can take those out if you need.
Look the detailing here, these buttons I think are just amazing, as well as here along the
sleeves.
And I just love the colors and the way that St. John Knit feels, it's nice and thick
and it just feels good and I think it looks good.
So, it's pretty basic.
I have it paired with a pair of high boots that I think add a little bit of fun to it
and I'm going to head out and be comfy and stylish.
And because it's a little chilly out, I'm going to put on top of it, my vintage green
little coat here, that happens to be the exact same color of the green in here.
And the way that the sleeve matches I still have this part of the sleeve showing and a
little bit of the dress sort of peeping out.
So, pretty fortunate that this, I think green coat, looks great with it.
I am not a festival goer, but if I were, I think this would be the outfit to wear.
It is an old vintage, I think, a caftan sort of a thing from the 1970s, so beautiful.
It has this ribbon and the colors and the print I just love.
I like the back and how my tattoo is exposed there perfectly and the square neckline, I
love it.
I have on my vintage Ray-Bans which I think would go.
These are from 454 Tattoo, little hoop earrings.
This beautiful purse is something that I picked up at Bad Madge and Company here in San Diego.
It has sort of a cow hide or some sort of a hide here, with the tooled, beautiful leather,
which I love.
And then to top it all off, of course, the Sven clogs that I think give it that whole,
sort of Bohemian festival vibe.
I'm going out tonight and I'm wearing this piece that I love that I got from Flashbacks
here in San Diego many, many years ago.
It's vintage, quite old.
The label in it, it's from France and I'm guessing it's probably from the 80s or something.
But, it's this really fun, drapey fabric and look at all the colors and everything
else going on here.
So, I think it's a tunic or I have worn it as sort of a short dress with tights and
books, but tonight I wanted to dress it down a little bit and turtlenecks are just magical
when it comes to that.
So, you see I've put this little Kit and Ace, nice, thin turtleneck under it, which
immediately sort of takes some of the sparkle and glitter and glamour away from the piece.
And then by putting it with a pair of just these just flared, light-washed jeans, I think
that also dresses down and makes it a little bit more casual.
And then my Sven little peep-toe clogs here in silver.
Those are a little sparkly, but I kind of think that makes it all sort of flow together
and gives it a little bit of a Bohemian vibe.
I kind of like how this turned out, first time I've paired this all together.
That is it for this week.
Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate it more than you know.
I would love to know what you liked, what you thought worked, maybe what you thought
didn't work, but mostly what you though worked would be great.
Until next time, have fun and dress it up a little.

Why I chose Texas A&M for my MSN-ED - Duration: 1:51.
When I went to nursing school I went through probably the most difficult two years of my
life to date.
The nurse educators that I was just so blessed to have were instructors that not only educated
me and pushed us to our capabilities, but they were also educators that cared about
us as people, as students and as human beings.
And, they really facilitated the ride and the journey through nursing school.
I learned about the MSN program through the advisor, and once I found out that this program
existed, I decide to go ahead and transfer in from the other MSN program that I was a
part of.
Getting my MSN will allow me the opportunity to teach at a collegiate level in a nursing
program.
So balancing life definitely is a challenge.
I am the mother of two daughters, I have a husband, I do work at the hospital and I'm
in the master's program.
The busier life is, the better I do personally.
This online program is very, very flexible because I do it on my time, and that is very
wonderful for a chaotic life.
I'm a huge Aggie, my husband and I both.
And, so we do all things that are Aggie.
And, the program that I was in, I was early enough in the program that I could transfer
over without losing much.
But, it was worth it to come over to A&M, to lose a couple of classes.
But, yes, I'm thrilled to be part of the MSN program at Texas A&M.

Today in our video were going to talk about life insurance real quick.
Specifically, how much do you need to support your family should you pass away.
Generally what we're going to talk about is personal life insurance, there is also buy-
sell agreements for business.
There are many different products that we have access to here to fit your needs and
desires should the unexpected happen and you pass away.
First things first on how much you might need, lets start with the very first number you'll
figure out which would be your final expenses.
Funerals are getting more expensive day by day, the average funeral can range anywhere
from $6,000 to $10,000 and that is a highly unexpected expense should you pass away.
After your final expenses are taken care of we need to focus on loss future income for
your family.
If you were the major bread winner, were going to need to replace a lot more than if you
were the secondary income in the family.
There's going to be expenses that continue to roll in, mortgagees, daycare, future expenses
like college, transportation.
All those normal, everyday expenses are still going to be there for your family without
your income actually coming in to the bank account.
We need to take that number and we need to figure out how many years we would need to
get your family paid up to, to make them sustain the lifestyle they're accustomed too.
After we figure out your future expenses that your family is going to need, were also going
to need to talk to you to see if there is something you want to do as a legacy gift
or anything of that nature.
Do you want to donate to your church?
Do you want to donate to an organization that you've been a part of your entire life?
Things like that, can be funded through life insurance.
What we want to do is add all of that up, get your number, generally it's going to be
a lot higher than you would think.
What we want to do is back that number down into a manageable life insurance program.
A manageable program consists of the death benefit that you and your family think is
sufficient to fund their needs for the future, should you pass away.
It's made of maybe one maybe two maybe three different types of life insurance policies
to make it affordable.
When we talk about affordability, the main thing to remember it's never going to be more
affordable than it is right now.
Life Insurance is going to get more expensive as you get older and if your health deteriorates
that also going to play a part into it, so come and talk to us today.
The other products that we'll be able to talk about will come on the next video.
So stay tuned.
Thanks.

Ewa Farna w ciąży? Pokazała brzuch i zdobyła się na wyznanie
Ewa Farna jest w ciąży?Ewa Farna jest młodziutka, ale już może pochwalić się wieloma sukcesami w życiu zawodowym.
Jej głos spokojnie mógłby konkurować z wokalem Adele, wydała kilka płyt, single sięgały zenitu popularności, a sama Farna cieszy się niebywałym posłuchem u swoich fanów w kilku krajach Europy.
Śliczna wokalistka niedawno zaczęła również odnosić sukcesy na polu prywatnym – cichaczem wyszła za mąż i poinformowała o tym świat już po fakcie, publikując piękne zdjęcie w sukni ślubnej.
Skąd decyzja o trzymaniu ceremonii w tajemnicy?.

Dlaczego zrezygnowano z filmu o Annie Przybylskiej?.
To koniec marzeń o filmowej biografii uwielbianej aktorki.

5 Mystery Puzzles That Seem Impossible To Explain - Duration: 10:11.
When people are suspicious about weird things and they have no clue what they are looking at,
they post photos and videos on the internet asking for help to solve the mysteries.
In this video you'll see some of the most intriguing detective stories.
Subscribe to Bored Panda and watch it until the end.
Please be sure to leave a like and a comment.
Green alien thing that grew on my band aid. What is this thing?
An internet user opened his band aid box
and saw these green things growing under the protective cover.
What is that green substance?
Internet users became concerned with an issue.
Odd that it is in different amounts, though.
Stop stop stop!!!!
Let's get back to the original poster.
It looks like they conducted better research.
They took a microscope image at 1000x magnification and here you can see the results.
The controversy became even more heated.
And even more complicated.
Where did these little discs come from?
More detectives came to solve the challenge.
Regarding the ambulance print, it looks like these were the bandages the original poster originally had.
And unfortunately they were not green.
Let's go further.
Good job!
This is the most logical answer, isn't it?
Or...
...they are sprinkles.
The video of this guy was shared plenty of times on Facebook.
200K times, to be precise.
A man in Indonesia called Heri Sukmana
posted a picture and a video of a strange insect,
which was later identified as a Creatonotos gangis moth.
This video had more than 44M viewers.
People were wondering if it is real.
Please don't do that.
Though it looks like a cheesy special effects monster,
it is a harmless moth with its scent organs extended in order to attract females.
This guy lives in Australia and South Asia,
but lots of butterflies and moths around the world have those tentacles
and related structures which are called hair-pencils.
On the one hand, now you can better understand mottephobia – a fear of moths and butterflies.
On the other hand, people will probably won't be scared of this guy after he became the world's most viral moth.
Asked one user, who got dozens of replies saying that they should sue.
Can you guess what this thing is?
Sure you can
if you have diabetes.
Diabetes is a serious, yet common medical condition.
When it becomes a chronic disease, the cells in the pancreas that make insulin are destroyed.
This means you will need to take insulin for the rest of your life,
because the body is unable to produce it.
Commented one user and it looks like they were right.
There are many different types of insulin delivery devices available,
including syringes and pens.
Could this be the correct answer?
It was definitely an insulin pen needle, which was randomly lost by a diabetic person.
Congratulations! Another puzzle solved!
One internet user asked
and immediately got a pile of warning answers with many exclamation marks.
Here are some clues.
Give up?
Meet the Atlantic Portuguese man o' war. Physalia physalis.
Or the floating terror.
Its venomous tentacles deliver a painful sting, which has on extremely rare occasions been fatal to humans.
Though it looks innocent, like a childish balloon,
it is however dangerous.
Anyone who has ever been stung by them know these guys hurt like hell!
It is not a jellyfish, but a siphonophore,
which is a colonial organism made up of specialized individual animals, called polyps.
Those polyps are attached to one another and physiologically integrated
to the extent that they are unable to survive independently.
They live on the surface of the ocean.
The gas-filled bladder remains on the surface, while the remainder is submerged.
One more interesting fact.
The name 'man o' war' comes from the 'man of war',
an 18th century armed sailing ship.
In other languages, it is known as the 'Portuguese war-ship'.
The name sounds a bit romantic, doesn't it?
Unfortunately it is a wild creature, which cannot be tamed.
You can be fascinated by those guys,
but better don't touch them.
One internet user asked and got an answer, that will surprise you!
In fact, NOT!
Talented and dedicated engineers spent countless hours designing the Japanese rail system
to be one of the world's most efficient.
Could have just asked a slime mold.
A great discovery was made when the researchers placed oat flakes over cities on the map.
Here you can see the slime mold forming a map of the Tokyo-area railway system.
It is spreading out into many possible configurations
and then dying away to highlight the shortest routes between cities
and the most efficient overall system map.
Slime mold is surely a unique organism.
It doesn't have brains.
Yet it can... make decisions!
It can move, and sing.
Here, just listen.
What you're hearing is the sound of the slime mold existing.
An odd little machine called the Energy Bending Lab
was able to capture the electrical activity of the mold and translate it into sound.
If you are allergic to pets,
maybe growing the slime mold would be a great option.
Which one of them did you find to be the most exciting?
Let us know if you have a real puzzle of your own in the comment section below.

3D Model Posts on Facebook! (New tool FEV / 2018 ) - Duration: 4:10.
Hello everyone! I'm here to show you the new facebook tool that is you can
create 3D posts in your timeline on which you can interact with them by viewing
it in 360º ok first step is to have 3D software, you have to create an object that does not
exceed 3Mbs, okay? I still have not found how to make textures recognize, so is better use
the materials of your program, and then we'll export your file to .fbx (remember
to delete the other objects in the scene) in Blender we will change the configurations of 7.4 binary
to 6.1 ASCII and uncheck the modifiers and other options below to not give any error,
be organized and saved all in a folder. And now we go to this site (link in the description)
and let's download the program that will transform your .fbx into .gltf according to your operating system
mine is windows and already in my folder here, now let's drag your file .fbx
to this program that we download, click run that it will create this
folder with these two files, you now select these two files and drag
to a second site (link in description), it will turn .gltf into .glb, just
drag it directly from the folder to the site, when downloading it leave it in your folder, now this
step is optional, but very important if you do not want to spend time, you will go in another
site (link in description) and will validate your file to see if you have problems
at the time of posting, just select your .glb and drag to the site, if successfully validated
then you will have no problems, and then you can go to your facebook or click page
and drag your .glb, it will load your file and you're done! you can change
the background of the post you can write as well as a regular post and post without
more problems. I hope this tutorial helped you
and that you can share your models now facebook, anything just take your doubts
by the comments. And to a next tutorial !!!
