Food Idioms! - Duration: 5:09.
Hello E-Speller friends!
I hope you aren't too hungry.
If you are, maybe you should
get a snack or something
before you watch this,
because today,
we are talking about food idioms!
Yum!
Let's start with the first one.
We have "a piece of cake".
This means - this is used
to describe something
that is very easy.
For example,
I thought the history test
would be hard,
but it was a piece of cake.
Or you can say,
teaching you to drive
will be a piece of cake,
because you're such a great student
and listener.
Next we have "easy as pie".
This also is used
to describe something that is easy.
For example, I can say,
the math test was easy as pie.
You probably guessed
that this means "easy".
Or I can say,
driving is easy as pie...now.
But it wasn't when I was learning to drive.
But it's easier now.
I don't know why we use baking
to talk about things that are easy.
I think it must be because
cake and pie are easy to eat,
because they're SOOOO delicious, right?
But they're not easy to make.
Well, cake's not
- it's not too difficult to make,
but pie is difficult to make.
And next we have
"go BANANAS"!
You guessed it!
This means "to go crazy".
You can just go crazy randomly
or you can go crazy for something.
So I can say,
when I get home from work,
my kids go bananas!
They're so excited to see me
that they go crazy.
Or I can say,
I go bananas for chocolate!
I see chocolate, and I just go crazy!
Or she goes bananas for dumplings.
Mmm...dumplings!
What's next?
Bring home the bacon.
This means "to earn money".
In the old days,
it was much more difficult to afford meat,
so it was a sign of wealth
if someone could bring home meat
for their family to eat
so it showed that they made a lot of money
So now it means "to earn money".
I can say,
I bring home the bacon for my family.
Next we have "bigger fish to fry".
I'm frying smaller fish.
Oh look, there are bigger fish!
I'll fry those instead.
No, it's not literal,
like all of these idioms.
It means "to have more important things to do".
For example,
I'm sorry I can't help you move this weekend.
I have bigger fish to fry.
I've got better things to do
or more important things.
I can also say,
I can't volunteer today.
I have bigger fish to fry.
But be careful how you use this idiom.
Be careful who - be careful with
1. who you say it to and
2. how you say it
- the tone you use,
because it might sound like
you're being mean to the person.
Like "Sorry I can't help you move.
I've got bigger fish to fry."
Like I've got things
that are more important than you.
So it can be rude.
And lastly, we have,
"like two peas in a pod".
This is used to describe
two people who are very similar
or identical.
For example,
I can say,
my sister and I are like two peas in a pod.
We like the same music,
the same movies, the same food,
the same clothes,
we pretty much look the same.
We're almost like the same person.
We're like two peas in a pod.
You can also use it to describe friends,
or siblings, especially twins.
So those are some food idioms.
Again, I hope I didn't make you too hungry.
And remember to share this with your friends
and some food with them too.
And tell me, what is your favourite food idiom?
I look forward to reading
about your favourite food idioms.
See you next time!

When Governor Challenged Trump's Position On Arming Teachers – T - Duration: 2:43.
When
Governor Challenged Trumps Position On Arming Teachers Trump Hits Back With The
Hammer Of Truth
Trump hosted governors from around the country at the White House Monday, during which he
had a tense exchange with Washington Governor Jay Inslee.
The president made opening remarks then opened the floor to questions from the governors.
Many of the questions and conversations revolved around the national conversation on school
shootings.
Trump has proposed arming up to 20 percent of the nations teachers.
When Inslee described gun control measures he has implemented in his state and then directly
questioned Trumps proposal for arming teachers.
Trump corrected the governor bluntly, saying he is proposing arming a small portion
of teachers and condemning gun free school zones.
Trump said:
Arming a small portion that are very gun adept.
That truly know how to handle them.
I do feel its very important that gun free Zones.
You have a gun free zone, its like an invitation for the sick people to go there.
I think there has to be some form of major retaliation if they are able to mentor of
school and if that happens you are not going to have any problems because they wont
go into the school.
It would just be a very small group of people that are very gun adept.
The governor responded, saying he has heard from teachers and law enforcement who do not
want to arm teachers.
I have listened to law enforcement who have said they dont want to have to train
teachers as law enforcement agencies.
I think this is a circumstance where we need to listen to educators and they should not
be foisted upon this responsibility of packing heat.
Governor Jay Inslee ended his remarks saying I suggest we need a little less tweeting,
a little more listening and lets just take that off the table and move forward.
President Trump said Thank you very much, before calling on Texas governor Greg Abbott
to explain why his state allows teachers to conceal carry.

Writing Subtext in Dialogue - Duration: 14:44.
Here's a fact of life: People don't always say exactly what they mean.
We might say "I'm fine," when we really mean "I'm having a crappy day, but I don't
want to burden you with that."
We use euphemisms to soften the blow when we fire someone or break up with someone.
Communication often involves this kind of subtext, a term Gotham Writers defines as
"the meaning beneath the dialogue; what the speaker really means, even though he's
not saying it directly."
In fiction, not every conversation needs a second layer of meaning, but if you ever get
feedback that your dialogue feels unnatural or too on the nose, it likely relates to a
lack of subtext.
The remedy to this can be found in the words of Janet Burroway:
"…if you're aware as you're writing that both characters have their own desires and
conflicting emotions, if you allow them to reveal some of their feelings and hide others,
they will become authentic and believable."
Now, let's look at specific ways to create nuanced conversations between characters.
A contradiction between a character's words and body language can provide a glimpse into
hidden thoughts.
A liar might say, "I dunno," but the way she licks her dry lips suggests she knows
more than she's letting on.
Flirting also entails nonverbal cues and dropping hints to see if another person reciprocates
our feelings.
We might stand a little closer or invite someone over to our house as a way of expressing
romantic interest.
We can see body language subtext in action in the historical drama Gone with the Wind
by Margaret Mitchell.
This scene features the story's two main characters: the flirtatious Scarlett O'Hara
and the charming Rhett Butler.
Rhett has just given Scarlett a new bonnet as a gift.
Right before they exchange dialogue, there's a passage describing Scarlett's internal musings.
She notices Rhett staring at her lips, and she assumes he's going to try and kiss her.
She debates about whether or not she wants him to, but ultimately decides she'll allow
it because it would be exciting and entertaining for him to fall in love with her.
Here's the dialogue that follows: But he made no move to kiss her.
She gave him a sidelong glance from under her lashes and murmured encouragingly.
"So you always get paid, do you?
And what do you expect to get from me?"
"That remains to be seen."
"Well, if you think I'll marry you to pay for the bonnet, I won't," she said
daringly and gave her head a saucy flirt that set the plume to bobbing.
His white teeth gleamed under his little mustache.
"Madam, you flatter yourself.
I do not want to marry you or anyone else.
I am not a marrying man."
"Indeed!" she cried, taken aback and now determined that he should take some liberty.
"I don't even intend to kiss you, either."
"Then why is your mouth all pursed up in that ridiculous way?"
"Oh!" she cried as she caught a glimpse of herself and saw that her red lips were
indeed in the proper pose for a kiss.
"Oh!" she cried again, losing her temper and stamping her foot.
"You are the horridest man I have ever seen and I don't care if I never
lay eyes on you again!"
The subtext here for Scarlett is "Kiss me," and she's trying to trick Rhett into it,
but he sees through her charade and calls her out on her body language.
The subtext of his dialogue is "I know you're trying to manipulate me."
Scarlett's last line is obviously overdramatic and untrue.
She's frustrated about having been found out, so she says something she doesn't actually mean.
Her words, her actions, and even her thoughts are at odds with one another.
Sometimes, seemingly trivial reactions can mask a deeper, secondary emotion.
A sister could refuse to let her brother borrow her car because she says he'll wreck it,
but in reality, she's mad because he wants to use it to take her best friend out on a date.
So, the character's reaction to a smaller issue is actually about a larger problem.
F. Scott Fitzgerald achieves this type of subtext in The Great Gatsby, when Daisy visits
Gatsby's mansion and sees his collection of expensive shirts:
He took out a pile of shirts and began throwing them, one by one, before us, shirts of sheer
linen and thick silk and fine flannel, which lost their folds as they fell and covered
the table in many-colored disarray.
While we admired he brought more and the soft rich heap mounted higher—shirts with stripes
and scrolls and plaids in coral and apple-green and lavender and faint orange, with monograms
of Indian blue.
Suddenly, with a strained sound, Daisy bent her head into the shirts and began to cry stormily.
"They're such beautiful shirts," she sobbed, her voice muffled in the thick folds.
"It makes me sad because I've never seen such—such beautiful shirts before."
Daisy's tears have more to do with her and Gatsby's relationship than his clothes.
She's lamenting lost love and opportunity.
She says, "They're such beautiful shirts," when she really means, "I'm heartbroken
because now that we can finally be together without any class barriers, we can't, because
I'm already married."
This scene shows up again and again in articles that discuss subtext—and the reason it's
such a memorable moment is because there's a second conversation hidden beneath
the surface-level dialogue.
Some people might sugarcoat the truth to play by the rules of social etiquette.
If your friend asks what you think of her mom, it's more acceptable to say she's
kind of "eccentric" or "unique" rather than "weird" or "crazy."
We often skirt the truth to avoid hurting our loved one's feelings, such as when we
ask our spouses if they liked our novel, and they say, "It was good!
I mean, great."
Fiction writers can learn a lot about conveying subtext through words alone from stage plays.
Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman provides a model for how characters beat around the bush.
The salesman is Willy, and in this scene, he's trying to ask his young boss, Howard,
if he can stop traveling for work: WILLY: Well, tell you the truth, Howard.
I've come to the decision that I'd rather not travel anymore.
HOWARD: Not travel!
Well, what'll you do?
WILLY: Remember, Christmas time, when you had the party here?
You said you'd try to think of some spot for me here in town.
HOWARD: With us?
WILLY: Well, sure.
HOWARD: Oh, yeah, yeah.
I remember.
Well, I couldn't think of anything for you, Willy.
WILLY: I tell ya, Howard.
The kids are all grown up, y'know.
I don't need much anymore.
If I could take home—well, sixty-five dollars a week, I could swing it.
HOWARD: Yeah, but Willy, see I— WILLY: I tell ya why.
Howard.
Speaking frankly and between the two of us, y'know—I'm just a little tired.
HOWARD: Oh, I could understand that, Willy.
But you're a road man, Willy, and we do a road business.
We've only got a half-dozen salesmen on the floor here.
WILLY: God knows, Howard.
I never asked a favor of any man.
But I was with the firm when your father used to carry you in here in his arms.
HOWARD: I know that, Willy, but— WILLY: Your father came to me the day you
were born and asked me what I thought of the name of Howard, may he rest in peace.
HOWARD: I appreciate that, Willy, but there just is no spot here for you.
If I had a spot I'd slam you right in, but I just don't have a single solitary spot.
The subtext of Willy's dialogue is a desperate plea: "I want an office job, and you should
pity me because I've been here a long time and I knew your father."
Howard's replies, meanwhile, are all variations of "no," with the implication that Willy
isn't good enough of an employee for a non-traveling position.
The characters clash because they have conflicting motivations.
They interrupt, avoid giving direct answers, and overuse each other's names in an attempt
at politeness, creating a strong subtext.
In interrogation scenes and arguments between lovers, it's common to see implied accusations.
If a police officer asks you, "What were you doing last Saturday, huh?", you can
be pretty sure they're insinuating you were somehow involved in the crime.
This type of implied accusation is used in Harlan Coben's thriller novel Tell No One.
The first-person narrator, Dr. David Beck, is taken in for questioning about his wife's murder.
His interrogators are special agents Nick Carlson and Tom Stone.
Carlson and Stone exchanged a quick glance.
"The name Sarah Goodhart has surfaced in connection with an ongoing investigation," Carlson said.
"What investigation?" I asked.
"We'd rather not say."
"I don't understand.
How am I connected into this?"
Carlson let loose a sigh, taking his time on the exhale.
He looked over at his rotund partner and suddenly all smiles were gone.
"Am I asking a complicated question here, Tom?"
"No, Nick, I don't think so."
"Me neither."
Carlson turned his eyes back at me.
"Maybe you object to the form of the question, Doc.
That it?"
The literal version of the conversation might go:
"Stop lying.
You obviously know something about this case."
The protagonist catches on to their accusatory attitude and tries to further evade their questions.
This leads to greater tension, as the reader wonders if the interrogators will arrest the
narrator as a suspect in his wife's murder.
Most of us have been on the receiving end of passive aggressiveness or sarcasm.
A mother might guilt trip her rebellious teenager by saying, "Go ahead. Ignore me.
It's not like I spent 12 hours in labor with you or anything."
Ernest Hemingway's short story "Hills Like White Elephants" drips with
passive-aggressive dialogue.
A couple sits outside a building at a train station in Spain, having drinks.
The elephant in the room is the fact that the girl is pregnant, and her lover wants
her to get an abortion during a time when it is very much illegal, and she's not sure
what she wants to do —yet the word "abortion" is not used once in the story.
We can feel the crackling tension between the couple even when they're making idle
conversation about the scenery: "They look like white elephants," she said.
"I've never seen one," the man drank his beer.
"No, you wouldn't have."
"I might have," the man said.
"Just because you say I wouldn't have doesn't prove anything."
They both seem to be overreacting to a simple comment, hinting at a deeper issue between them.
The girl's frustration isn't really about her lover failing to acknowledge her white
elephants comment but about a larger problem in their relationship: he no longer shows
affection toward her, now that she's pregnant.
As their conversation goes on, we get the sense that she feels their relationship is
doomed, even if she does get an abortion: "But if I do it, then it will be nice again
if I say things are like white elephants, and you'll like it?"
In real life, we rely on this type of subtext to broach difficult conversations.
Here, the white elephants are a vehicle the characters use to indirectly discuss their
relationship problems, without having to face the pain of confronting hard questions directly.
Hemingway is known for his minimalistic style, and you probably noticed that this story reads
more like a stage play or a screenplay.
His style adheres to his Iceberg Theory of writing, also known as the theory of omission.
He once stated: "If a writer of prose knows enough about
what he is writing about he may omit things that he knows and the reader, if the writer
is writing truly enough, will have a feeling of those things as strongly as though the
writer had stated them.
The dignity of movement of an ice-berg is due to only one-eighth of it being above water."
Essentially, this means that sometimes less is more.
Hemingway gives his readers little context, allowing his dialogue to speak for itself,
putting the responsibility of dissecting its meaning into the reader's hands.
Vague references to a "simple operation" enables the author to talk about a taboo subject
like abortion.
Similar types of euphemisms can be used for other touchy topics.
In any given scene, a character might hold back their true emotions to avoid hurting
another person, embarrassing themselves, showing vulnerability, or facing a hard truth.
We rely on subtext when we have something to lose, like our pride, safety, comfort,
or happiness.
However, we might misinterpret someone's intentions and assume they're angry at us
when they're only frustrated at the situation.
We might mine for a subtext that doesn't exist in asking our partners what they meant
when they said nothing was wrong.
We might miscommunicate our own feelings, making someone think we dislike them, when
in fact we're just tired.
Sometimes, we're unaware of our own feelings, yet others can still sense our true emotions
through the words we choose and our nonverbal cues.
That's the beauty of subtext—it creates conflict, which makes for an engaging story.
When characters skirt around a tough conversation, it puts readers on the edge of their seats
with anticipation as they wait for the truth to bubble to the surface.
We itch to know how the exchange will play out and what consequences the characters will face.
During a first draft, it's okay to have placeholders that state the characters'
direct meaning.
But when you go back to revise highly emotional scenes, try to have the characters convey
their thoughts without explicitly stating them.
Your readers will pick up on the subtext and be more engaged as a result—you're giving
the audience a puzzle to solve and adding realism.
As a writing exercise, imagine a conversation between two characters.
Determine their initial relationship—are they a married couple, a boss and an employee,
a suspect and an interrogator?
Then, have them argue about something.
You can identify the literal feelings you want to convey first, before thinking about
how the character would actually present this information, given the social norms or their
relationship with the other character.
Imply those feelings through dialogue and actions.
For instance, a character's literal meaning might be "I'm pissed off because you didn't
let me buy a labradoodle, and you claim that owning a dog would be 'too expensive,'
but you're a hypocrite about spending money."
In actual dialogue, that might be translated to "How much was that drone toy thing you
never use?
Two grand?
You're always buying useless crap."
Think about how the characters want to present themselves.
What reaction are they trying to evoke or avoid from the other person?
Is this conversation actually about something else they're not openly discussing?
Let tension arise from miscommunication.
What are your favorite examples of subtext in dialogue?
I'd love to hear them in the comments.
Whatever you do, keep writing. <3

Weird Things Everyone Just Ignores About Kelly Clarkson's Marriage - Duration: 4:57.
Kelly Clarkson is one of the most successful recording artists to emerge from the world
of American Idol, releasing hit after hit since she won the first season back in 2002.
Her other half, music manager Brandon Blackstock, is also at the top of his career, but while
these two seem smitten, that doesn't mean there aren't some quirks in their relationship.
Here are some things you may not know about Clarkson and Blackstock's marriage.
Taken
Clarkson and Blackstock's meet cute was a very slow burn.
They started dating in 2012, but they first met in 2006 at a rehearsal for the Academy
of Country Music Awards, when Blackstock's father Narvel was Clarkson's manager.
In 2017, Clarkson recalled their first meeting on a SiriusXM show, saying,
"Literally, I'm not joking, he walked past us at that time…
I was like, ready to take it all off.
I just felt something."
But at the time, Blackstock was still married to his first wife.
Clarkson explained,
"[I] ain't that girl.
Honestly, I didn't even talk to him."
Blended
While many blended families struggle to get along, Clarkson thrives in her role as a stepmom
to Savannah and Seth, Blackstock's children with his previous wife.
Clarkson told Ryan Seacrest in 2013,
"We all live together and everything.
It's so different, but it's perfect.
They're awesome, and I actually really dig the mom thing.
We all work really well together, but I'm totally my mom.
My mom was a hard mom.
I'm probably that mom."
The married pair are also parents to daughter River Rose and son Remington.
Date night?
Clarkson and Blackstock are so busy being loving parents and successful collaborators
that it's hard to find time for themselves.
Luckily, James Corden came to the rescue during Clarkson's "Carpool Karaoke" appearance in
2017.
"Do you get to spend a lot of time together outside of work, the two of you?"
"I think it's difficult because obviously, I work a lot and I'm a mom, but we try."
"Is this Intervention?"
Blackstock then showed up, and Corden proceeded to set up a backseat date for the couple.
"Okay, it's a date night the kids aren't here."
"I feel like we're making a porn."
Former mother-in-law
In case you missed this weird connection, for a while there, Reba McEntire was Clarkson's
mother-in-law.
The country music icon was married to Blackstock's father for 26 years, before the two divorced
in 2015.
However, Clarkson and McEntire have remained close since the split, getting together for
family gatherings and continuing to collaborate musically.
Clarkson spoke candidly about their relationship on Watch What Happens Live, revealing that
they text, talk shop, and share videos with the kids.
"She actually texted me at like 7 in the morning at LA time and she knew I was in LA and I
was like what are we doing?'
Manager/husband
Though his father originally worked for Clarkson, Blackstock eventually took over managing his
wife's career, which weirdly enough, did wonders for their marriage.
Clarkson claims it works perfectly because he truly understands every part of her day,
whether she's in a great mood or feeling bummed out.
She told People in 2016,
"At the same time we do have these moments where I'm like, 'Okay, you're managing me
right now.
And he will be like, 'Okay, you're being that really artsy person that's like up and down
right now.'"
While she claims they are, quote, "yin and yang," Clarkson now understands why so many
of her role models married their managers.
She explained,
"With this specific job, it's such a busy job.
It's 24/7, so if I weren't [managed by him], I wouldn't be with him.
So it kind of makes sense.
I think that's why Céline [Dion] did it.
I think that's why Mariah [Carey] did it.
I know a lot of artists do that because it makes sense."
Anniversary fails
Clarkson and Blackstock obviously make a great team, but sometimes their busy schedules conflict
with important moments in their personal lives.
We have forgotten two out of four of our anniversaries.
But the great thing about us is we collectively do it.
It's not like one of us forgets and one of us remembers.
We both epically fail."
In 2017, the couple was completely distracted by the release of Clarkson's holiday hit,
"Christmas Eve."
Clarkson revealed that after wishing her husband a "Happy Christmas song release day" that
morning...
"He was like, 'Or happy anniversary,' I freaked out.
I panicked like I'm the only one who forgot, but he forgot too."
Turns out Blackstock was reminded about the big day by social media posts from fans!
Clarkson shook the whole thing off, saying,
"We're so happy we just forget.
Every day is an anniversary."
This romantic pair may have their share of quirks, but at the end of the day, Clarkson
and Blackstock are total "#relationship-goals."
"Even if someone doesn't like it I'm like well you suck and you have no taste at all."
Just take a peek at the "Love So Soft" singer's Instagram feed and see if you can even handle
all the cuteness!
"You're tryin to make me cry right now, you're tryin to Oprah me, you're tryin to Oprah me!"

Bread Storage Solution ~How I Store My Bread ~ Small Kitchen Organization ~ Noreen's Kitchen - Duration: 8:07.
Hi everyone and welcome back to my kitchen today, we're going to talk about my bread storage solution
I've mentioned before in a couple of videos that I have a specific way that I store bread in my kitchen and
Many of you have asked me throughout the years. How do I store my bread so today?
We're going to address that topic let's go see how this all comes together
This is how we store our bread in our kitchen was over there. We keep it in that corner over there and
After many years of how do we store our bread?
Do we we've tried baskets where we had a basket with the bread in it
We've tried a breadbox, which you know then things get piled on top of the breadbox
And you have to move thing the breadbox isn't big enough and so it took us a long time to figure out
What suited our family best?
so
Because we have an extremely small kitchen
This works for us
we literally went to Walmart and we got the bread that we usually buy and
Thought you know. What are the things that we always have on hand and we put them in the cart
And then we walked over to where the plastic containers are and then we had made a measurement of how much
Space we had
Height wise from the counter to underneath the cabinet, so this is what works for us
We got this big bin, and I'm just gonna set this over here, and I'm gonna show you box by box
What's in each of these things so we have this larger box?
Because we usually when I don't make my own bread and honestly. I don't make my own bread very often because we're super busy and
When it's going to be summertime
I don't make bread at all we buy it so I usually buy this what they call pan bread
It's usually on sale in my area buy one get one free somewhere whether it's Publix or Harris Teeter
And then if Walmart has it if no one has it on sale Walmart has it the cheapest so this will fit in here
Easily and right now. We have a partial. Oh I always have a loaf of rye bread in here and
This will fit in there as well a whole loaf will fit in there as well
Next to the white bread or the wheat bread depending on what we purchased right now
There's some rice cakes in here because my girls had them
And then we almost always have these brioche buns whether I get them from Aldi
Or from Walmart, and we love them
And they're great for sandwiches or burgers or what have you and then we have like a random one so at any given time?
There's white bread rye bread rolls there could be Italian bread in here
But if you work it like a puzzle. It will all fit properly and thing will get squished now
the middle box
We keep sometimes like today for example I have a package of hot dog buns a package of hamburger buns
And you might think these look like if they were a little smashed, but they're really not these are not smashed
We just put the lid on it and it you know it took the form of the the lid
But sometimes we'll fill this with granola bars or nut bars energy bars snacks that the girls can come and grab
You know those yogurt bars and stuff so it depends at any given time. What's in here right now?
We don't have any snack bars on hand and we're planning to have
Burgers and hotdogs at some point for dinner a couple of nights this week
So we thought the a good example would be to show you the hamburger buns
And the hotdog buns you can easily store homemade breads in here
You just need to make sure that they're wrapped tightly in plastic and then putting them in the plastic
Containers keeps them fresher longer, and it inhibits molding as well now
I have this additional bin
which
Because we probably don't need three bins for bread
But this is what I use it for this is for overflow spice jars
I have a jar of taco seasoning in here
This is my homemade taco seasoning, and then I have an open partial open bag of pasta shells
so if I have
open pasta like if I have open macaroni or
Something maybe I opened a bag of orzo or a bag of pasta that we cooked for lunch
And we only use half it will go in this bin
That way when I want to make some then I'll check this bin first
And I'll see oh I haven't opened something and I'll go ahead and I'll use that first
But this you know this is up to you you want that third, bin you go for it. I figure there's always
It's always a good idea to have extra storage space and if you're going to have this under your kitchen cabinet anyway
Use up the space that you have the linear space is going to be
Really a very welcome thing so why not use the space you have measure out
find the bins that you like I happen to like I happen to like these bins the best because I like the
Configuration I like that the handles snap-on and the lid it's easy in and out
but it's a
Space with these feelings for you exactly maybe
You only room for two of these larger bins or maybe only a room for a large bin and a skinny bin?
Maybe the skinny bin doesn't work for you at all
We're working with what we got and that's what you have to do to so that is how we store our bread?
And when I make homemade bread I wrap it in a bread bag
And I just slice it up first
Because you have to slice the bread first after its cooled otherwise
people will come behind you and try and slice it and if they
They they will mess up your bread
I'm just saying so just wrap it in a plastic bag or in plastic wrap stick it in the bin boom you're done
I don't know about you, but when I make homemade bread. It doesn't last very long anyway, so
you know that's just how it goes, but this is how we store our bread in our kitchen and
For any of you folks out there who have cats
Now you know we do not condone our cats getting on the counter where we always have to chase them off
but when you have cats sometimes they have a mind of their own and
And if you harden if you're sleeping the cats will decide what they're going to do
one of the main reasons that we have our bread and containers like this is because
cats for some reason find bread bags and bread irresistible
And they will chew through a bag of bread and it will upset you and it will make you mad
So this alleviates that entire problem as well plus it keeps your bread a little bit fresher
But that is our bread storage solution. I hope this gives you an idea
I hope it you know these are helpful tips and tricks because this is what works for us
They might not work for you
It might not be something that fits into your life or into your kitchen or into your space
But it works for us, and it doesn't look bad it keeps things neat and tidy it keeps your bread fresh
And I just wanted to pass this along so if you enjoyed it. I hope you give it a try
I hope this inspires you to maybe see what you can do and we're into your life
And maybe it's helpful from that end so I hope you enjoyed today's video

Popeyes® | Cookies & Cream Crunch Pie Made with Oreo® Review! ⚜🍪 - Duration: 4:44.
peep this out guys it's Ian K back again with another one for ya this time
headed back into popeye's to check out their latest dessert treat featuring
most everyone's favorite cookie that's right it's the new cookies and cream
crunch pie made with Oreo and it looks pretty fantastic so let's scoop one up
through that drive-thru yeah peep this out can I get that new cookies and cream
crunch pie made with Oreo and that's it beautiful thanks it's never too early in
the day for dessert is it naaaah thank you my friend alright we'll see
ya alright guys let's peep this out
we've got another challenger for the fast food dessert throne coming from
Popeyes guys feast your eyes on the all new cookies-and-cream crunch pie made
with Oreo and I'm already digging the chunks of Oreo that are in the middle of
this it looks really really inviting already if not legit because of the name
brand I've been using here guys but very very nice presentation what we've got is
that Oreo cookie crust that you guys see on the very bottom a nice whipped middle in
there with chunks of Oreo cookies and then in the very top we've got some
chocolate drizzle and some more crushed pieces of Oreo as well but for a little
under 2 bucks that is not a bad value the size is fairly decent for what you
get and again it is that name-brand quality that I'm expecting because it's
the Oreo name but let's give this one a shot guys it's the all-new cookies and
cream crunch pie made with Oreo here at Popeye's let's peep out this flavor
yes sir definitely diggin the size of those Oreo cookie pieces on the inside
let's dive in it's the cookies and cream crunch pie made with Oreos here at
Popeye's hmm and definitely creamy it is wow that is very thick it's almost got
the consistency of a cheesecake guys very similar to the one from BK actually
but a lot richer and flavor Wow very very strong flavor on this one very much
liking the hints of cookies and cream for sure mmm yeah this is definitely
reminding me more of cheesecake than it is cookies and cream but the flavor is
really really nice and very very rich you know it actually tastes like a cross
between cheesecake and ice cream with a very dense filling and the Oreo cookies
play extremely well with it the flavor is very strong and a light drizzle on
the very top at the very end of it really comes up nicely as well yeah I
really like the light drizzle on this because you can really taste it at the
very end it's a nice little complement to the overall chocolatey flavor in
general and I guess with this being cookies and cream I guess it's a little
redundant because Oreos technically are cookies and cream I mean you have the
cream filling and then the cookies it pretty much is the same but I'm liking
the fact that it's real Oreo cookies and you can taste chunks of them it's not
just a little bit's in the very top it's chunks in the middle and they're pretty
sizable mmm really good I'm telling you if you were a blind folded right now you'd
be hard-pressed to tell me this wasn't cheesecake because it really does taste
like that I guess it keeps the consistency because it's not ice cream
and being that it is kind of warm outside right now it's still holding its
composure and I like that because it's still holding its own along with the
thickness one more quick shot of this one guys the Oreo crust lights this one up
pretty nicely and if you guys are fans of Oreos in general you have a lot to
look forward to with this one there is plenty of Oreo flavor and nice chunks
have been in the middle overall a very solid dessert that really gets the job
done and the price is definitely right for what you get here and hey and it's
actually got some pretty slick packaging to go with what's overall a pretty tasty
dessert but what do you guys think do you think there's all new cookies and
cream crunch pie made with Oreo delivers the goods over here at Popeyes cuz I can
tell you from a price standpoint aside from the flavor it absolutely does cuz
the price does seem pretty right to me but what do you guys think drop those
comments down below and definitely let me know and as for the overall score I'm
gonna have to give the all-new cookies and cream crunch pie made with Oreo here
at Popeyes or rock-solid 9 out of 10 the only way that I can see to make this one
better is to charge maybe a dollar more and beef up the size but like I said
what you do get over all does deliver and the quality of what you're getting
definitely delivers guys get a lot of nice Oreo flavor on this one with a
pseudo Cheesecake like consistency and plenty of Oreo chunks in the middle and
if you guys are Oreo aficionados like I am you already know this is gonna be
something you're gonna want to try I'd highly recommend you do and those are my
thoughts on the latest dessert treat over here at Popeye's as we close out
another episode of peep this out guys and like I always say I've got brand new
content every single week here on my channel so while you stay tuned for that
next review coming real soon in the meantime stay frosty alright so who
actually has the license to make a full-on Oreo pie a lot of these places
say pie made with Oreo but they don't actually say Oreo pie if you guys
actually know the answer to that drop that comment down below I am very
curious to know but in the meantime I'll definitely settle for what they try and
come out with even if it doesn't have the quote-unquote official name of Oreo
pie alright guys until next time I'll talk to you soon

I don't know where to start. Okay, first
On that part...
I asked my self why have I never noticed that Taeyong sings
Because I have always heard him rapping but on one of his parts
When he sang that really surprised me

Voyage Planning By The Navigating Officer - Duration: 23:16.
This video is going to examine one of the key tasks on the ship voyage
planning by the navigating officer a good voyage plan with all the
information including information needed in emergencies is the only basis for a
safe voyage poor voyage planning may not always result in an accident but it puts
the watch keeping officer in a weak position if things start to go wrong and
inevitably they will one day as well as reducing accidents and improving safety
regulation 34 of so last chapter five requires all ships to have a voyage plan
before proceeding to see the information it gives freeze the watch keeping
officer from spending time on reference books and tables it will ensure that the
officer is fully aware of the Masters requirements the plan must cover the
entire voyage from birth to birth it must be completed well before departure
and must be approved by the master if the voyage plan is your responsibility
you need to be aware that doing it properly takes time the first step is to
check that all the necessary charts and publications are up-to-date and that no
change has taken place to the scheduled destination next there must be a
discussion with the master to take into account all the commercial requirements
of the voyage and of any changes to the schedule destinations the Masters
experience will enable him to suggest a route pointing out potential hazards
one issue to discuss with the master is whether routing even if the ship does
not use a weather routing service it's always worth allowing for the weather if
the shortest route is likely to take you into storms consider a route going
around them avoiding storms and storm damage may be cheaper and safer and
possibly quicker in the long run the next stage is to collect all the
information you will require this includes suitable charts of as large a
scale as needed the appropriate pilot books routing charts and ocean voyage
planning manuals port information for the start and end of the voyage other
essentials are tide tables the list of lights radio signals information and
weather information further items required include any relevant notices to
Mariners and navigational warnings as well as the ship's characteristics
including the draft and the manoeuvring data there may be additional information
such as local charts onboard another resource is personal experience if you
don't know a voyage or a port yourself it may well be known by one or more of
the deck officers from previous ships or voyages ask around find out what they
know voyage planning using an electronic chart display an information system and
ectis requires exactly the same information the process of appraisal
planning execution and monitoring still applies only the methods have
changed some of the information required may be available in the actus itself if
vector charts are being used but if raster charts are used then exactly the
same reference books will be needed as for paper charts a voyage plan may
include both vector and raster charts the vector mode of an actus is based on
a multi-layered fully digitized chart layers of the display can be adjusted to
suit operational or planning requirements the symbols used are
different to those on paper charts these charts have no edges they are seamless
the raster mode of operation is based on digitized photographs of standard
already existing nautical charts so they are not seamless it is a single level
basis for navigation it contains no more and no less information than the paper
chart and so the symbols used will be very familiar both raster and vector
modes rely on electronic position fixing systems such as the GPS to give the
ships position and projected course with both it's possible to superimpose other
data such as ARPA or radar both systems can be used for voyage planning
whichever system is used the first step as with paper charts is the preliminary
discussion with the master achieve 12 knots of speed rebus which is
possible no problems also always start with a clear paper chart check that the
charts have been updated with the latest Corrections a small notebook is
essential to record key information about the voyage such as alter course
positions however it is done all the other deck officers must be able to
understand the plan as well you must always be consistent the plan
must be clear and the notes easy to read
the objective is for the plan to help other watch keepers not to give them an
additional problem in deciphering it
the first thing marked on the chart are the no-go areas land Shoals wrecks and
so on
then mark off all areas where your draft is more than the depth on the chart the
approaches to many ports involve passages where tidal calculations are
crucial where possible don't rely on the tide let it be a safety bonus
the track is then drawn in critical areas the margins of safety should be
marked on both sides of the track how large they should be will depend on the
ship's size the area itself as well as your personal preference
perhaps your company or your captain has an established minimum distance from a
danger area the plan track should always be plotted to clear hazards at a safe
distance voyage planning with a vector chart on ectis is more like using a
database on a computer as on a paper chart it's very easy to align the plan
track precisely to any leading light marks or sectors but it's not just a
matter of creating a series of waypoints and lines each Waypoint
needs to contain the necessary information relating to the autopilot
systems such as radius of turn and plan speed and track limits if you need to
use boys as marks be sure to use a safe distance off so the ship doesn't run
over them many ships will use simple distances such as one mile so it's worth
using unusual distances off marks to avoid other ships who are using simple
distances in their auto pilots on raster charts the creation of no-go areas is
very similar to the processing paper chart voyage planning whatever method is
being used always prepare for the unexpected what would happen if there
was an engine failure at the critical moment in the voyage what information
would you want immediately if you were on watch at that mo
when paper charts are being used all the essential elements of the plan must be
listed in the notebook to amplify and support the track on the chart items in
the notebook should include the safe speed positions where changes in
machinery status are needed manpower requirements course alteration positions
points where reports to Shore stations are required minimum depth clearances
were critical and plans for reaching safe water in an emergency the tidal
stream must be marked on the paper chart if the time of the voyage changes the
track may stay the same but some data such as the title information will need
to be changed with electronic voyage planning the information that would be
in the notebook is stored as Mariners notes on the chart itself or in a pilot
data file as part of the voyage plan different systems use different ways to
achieve this but the same information is needed a means of verifying the position
of all changes in course must be marked on the chart when deep sea GPS is an
efficient method of position fixing inshore other means must be used to
check the position at least as a secondary method at night lights can
provide a useful source of fixes and bearing information all relevant
navigational marks should be indicated on the chart as part of the plan there's
often not the time to look them up while under way
on large-scale charts we louver bearings should be found that a parallel to the
new course that way even if the ship is to the left or right of the intended
track it will come around onto the correct course it is important in
planning a voyage to specify how the position of the ship should be fixed and
how often most watchkeeping officers will have developed their own rule of
thumb for timings but this is inadequate for a reliable plan the time between
fixes must be such that it's impossible for the ship to get into danger between
fixes
well offshore this might mean once every few hours closer ensure the position of
the ship is more critical and fixes must be more frequent it is essential for the
ship's position to be ascertained by cross-checking the results of different
fixing methods radar and visual fixing both have their advantages and
disadvantages knowing when to use which as primary or secondary fixing methods
is part of a watch keepers skill a thorough voyage plan will indicate which
method should be used during different sectors of the voyage the chart should
be marked with a useful number of visual and radar conspicuous objects these can
be derived from the chart itself the pilot books or from the Mariners
personal experience it's important to put in only a small number of these
points don't cover the chart with dozens of radar conspicuous objects that the
officer will not have time to use what is needed is the right number keeping in
mind the closeness to land and the speed of the ship the timing and method of
position fixing is equally important in an electronic voyage plan
the Mariners notes or pilot data file should include the position of both
visible and radar visible objects an electronic voyage plan will have a
reliance on satellite navigation systems gps and glonass at present but in the
future Galileo as well in confined waters an alternative system must be
used for checking the position and this can easily be done using the radar maps
and radar interlay of the ectis checks of the position by radar or using
leading lights or sectors are of vital importance close inshore as there's
always the risk that GPS will become unavailable for some reason with raster
charts there may be datum irregularities in comparison with the wgs84 datum
the ships speed is another crucial aspect of voyage planning that must not
be left to chance whether the voyage is planned electronically or on paper it is
vital to plan the time of arrival how does it fit in with the tides the pilot
services or the berth availability the speeds and Waypoint ETA s need to be
marked on the chart and in the voyage planning notebook landfalls also need to
be clearly marked one objective of the voyage plan is to help you and other
watch keepers in using time efficiently there should be no need to look for
information in manuals and books the notebook can be used to detail
instructions that would involve writing on large areas of the chart the chart
and the notebook are both essential elements of the voyage plan a very
powerful method of monitoring the ship's tract during a coastal voyage is
parallel indexing this consists of drawing the track of a fixed radar
conspicuous point on a relative motion radar display it works best when the
radar is stabilized north up the line will be parallel to the ship's ground
track the cross index range of the track is the distance the ship needs to keep
off the point any cross track tendency caused by tidal stream for example will
become apparent by the target moving off the parallel line this plot enables a
constant check of the ships track to be kept
fix's still need to be taken even when parallel indexing is taking place in
poor visibility parallel indexing is invaluable for watch keepers to be
familiar with this technique they must practice it in conditions of good
visibility parallel indexing is equally valuable using electronic chart systems
and the same principle of practicing it in good visibility also applies the
parallel indexing needs to be set up at the planning stage here the line appears
under the course and is offset by the officer of the watch when the ship is
running up to the selected radar visible object on both paper or screen the
voyage must be planned birth to birth even for passages where the ship will be
navigated by a pilot the voyage plan must be discussed with the pilot when he
comes on board so that everyone on the bridge will be aware of the intended
voyage the entire bridge team will then be able to monitor the ship's progress
effectively where the ship is headed into an area of restricted navigation
such as insider harbours the plan should include an abort point this is the last
moment that the ship can turn back for any reason
as the ship runs up to this point all arrangements such as birth and tug
availability must be confirmed with the appropriate authorities once you're
satisfied with the plan it needs to be checked and approved by the master the
principle of double-checking the plan must be part of the breech routine
master may be able to suggest improvements based on his greater
experience this approval of the plan is perhaps the most important part of
voyage planning and will generally be required as part of the ship's safety
management system the Masters approval of the plan is equally important whether
the plan is on paper or done electronically both master and
navigating officer need to allow sufficient time for a thorough
examination of the plan as the plan must be made well before starting the voyage
the departure time may change this may not affect the track but certainly will
affect tides and voyage times the plan will need to be updated when departure
time is known and throughout the voyage as times change
the overall objective of the plan must be to give the watch keeping officers a
plan to follow and sufficient information to enable them to do that
easily the plan will also provide a backup store of facts so that if things
do go wrong there will be information immediately available to help overall it
is essential whether the plan is done on paper or electronically that there is a
complete birth to birth voyage plan for every voyage the voyage plan should be
marked on the chart with supplementary notes in a notebook or as Mariners notes
the chart should have in addition to the tract useful information including
safety margins clearing bearings wheel / positions and tidal streams
the plan must be approved by the master in good time
the plan must be updated as required
whether it is planned using traditional paper charts or an electronic chart
system a good voyage plan must provide the information the watch keeper needs a
good voyage plan is the only foundation for a safe and efficient voyage

Opinion Piece: Monster Hunter World's ENDGAME - Duration: 11:52.
Monster Hunter World is amazing.
This is without question the best Monster Hunter I've played, since I started playing
back in 2011.
As amazing as it is, no game is without its faults of course and Monster Hunter World
is no exception.
There are absolutely some things that can be improved and most importantly, some very
much needed changes, or additions to the endgame, that would transform the grind from being
a job, to something that's a lot more enjoyable.
Once you've reached the point where you're hunting down one Tempered Elder Dragon after
the other, the game starts to turn into a little bit of a slog.
I've maxed out all 19 available Slash Axe Trees, forged all the armor sets and pieces
I wanted, got to Hunter Rank 100 and finished up all optional quests in the game.
So now the only thing I can really do that has any "merit" and in my script, "merit"
is in quotation marks mind you, is to go for the remaining trophies, in my case this is
limited to Crowns, Guild Cards and reaching a total of 50 Arena quests… the point being;
what's left to do isn't really all that exciting.
Most of the issues I have stem from how the multiplayer is set up.
Joining up with hunters, finding rooms, the SOS system, Investigations, Monster Health
Pools and most importantly the gathering hub.
Actually, let's start right there!
Monster Hunter World introduced a new system where up to 16 players can be within the same
online session.
On paper this is a splendid idea, as now several quests can be posted to the board and the
available hunters get to choose which quest they want to accept.
This is never the case though, in over 220 hours I have yet to meet a random person at
the Gathering Hub in Monster Hunter World.
The Gathering Hub is a really nicely crafted place this time around.
It's not really any better or worse than the older games of course, but the fact that
16 players can be all in the same room, with their cats, would be awesome.
Again, this never happens!
Why?
Because A) unless it is a Gathering Hub specific Arena or Challenge Quest, every time you come
back from a quest you will be sent back to the Astera Tradeyard and B) which is mostly
due to 'A', most people will never even go to the Gathering Hub as there's simply
no reason to do so.
You can accept any quest from every single quest board, including that oh so annoying
Handler… seriously, screw those cutscenes, if I had been given the choice to rescue her,
she would've died very early on!
I am getting off track here…
Monster Hunter is a socially driven game at its core and this is one such aspect that
World simply doesn't deliver on.
This is how I think how the gathering hub could be made more attractive and useful.
First up I think some of the online mechanics should be reverted back to the last generation
of Monster Hunter, I am thinking about double cross in particular here.
Limit all online interactions to the gathering hall.
The exception being SOS of course, which I will touch on in an upcoming segment.
Add a correspondent to the gathering hub for all the available jobs in Astera.
By that I mean your farm, bounties, investigations and the Blacksmith.
And of course, automatically return you to the hub after a quest has been completed.
With just these small changes, players will be able to use the same space, creating a
sense of being able to interact with other players and less of a need to run around Astera
over and over just to collect your farmed items, bounties and investigations.
Turning off being online in Astera further enforces this by having to go to the Gathering
Hub, but with the addition of correspondents, to also make this a more attractive option
overall.
This will ultimately result in more time hunting and less time running talking to NPCs.
I am not gonna lie, I really don't like the SOS system.
Once again, on paper this sounds great, but in practice it pretty much kills any sort
of interaction between random players and feeds right back into the lonely online experience
I just outlined in the Gathering Hub section.
So what's the issue?
First up the 10 minute timer, where if you were to join after 10 minutes have already
passed in a quest it would make you ineligible for rewards.
It doesn't really bear any meaning or consequence, as other than Zorah and Xeno, there are hardly
any quests that will usually go past the 10 minute mark anyway.
And even IF they do, it doesn't really matter either, as once you start farming Tempered
Elders, these quests fill up so damn fast at the 0 minute mark, that you really gotta
be on top of your mashing game, to even manage to get into the line up.
In my opinion the best way to handle this would be to disable the SOS feature for Investigations.
Not just tempered ones, but Investigations altogether.
That sounds anti-hunter you might think, but by its very name, "SOS", meaning a distress
signal indicates that this is a feature to carry people that are in need of help.
Investigations stand in stark contrast to that, being a place to power farm materials
and or grind Hunter Rank points.
Think back to Monster Hunter 4G where you would make or search out a room that has a
Level 140 Shagaru to find people looking to farm the same monster or in double cross where
you'd make or look for a room farming those dreaded Level 16 Deviants.
These rooms also filled up very quickly, but it was easy to find them, because you wouldn't
end up having to wait for minutes on end, just to be greeted with a "failure to join"
message to then start the process all over again.
Speaking of Investigations, as it stands right now and especially during endgame, there is
little to no reason to even want to join up with random hunters for Investigations, tempered
or not.
Yes I will play with my friends of course, because it's fun, but if they're not online,
I am most likely playing solo, as it's just faster.
I am not talking about how godlike of a Hunter I am, I'm strictly speaking about the logistics
of how the whole system is set up.
On average I can take down a Tempered Vaal Hazak in around 4 to 6 minutes by myself.
With another hunter and I am referring to competent hunters, this time will go up to
about 12 - 13 minutes on average.
A three-man team sits around 10 minutes and a 4-man team averaging 7 - 8 minutes.
The online times here are best case scenarios mind you, as you're now dealing with erratic
and less predictable monster behaviour due to having more targets on screen and the occasional
cart that can always occur under those conditions.
Also keep in mind I am still referring to firing an SOS, where coordinated play is obviously
less than likely.
There's no real reason for the majority of players to even bother shooting up an SOS,
especially if the requirements are rather strict, say something like a 4 to 5 Tempered
reward Investigation with 1 faint, a 15 minute timer, a 2 player limit and a maximum of 3
uses.
Let's face it, you would be borderline insane to send out an SOS in this scenario, as the
chances of failure will shoot up so high now, that it's not worth the risk to even consider
multiplayer.
Soloing in Monster Hunter World is a little too easy and the restrictions on Investigations
when it comes to multiplayer a little too unreasonable.
So here are my suggestions to change Investigations and Tempered Investigations in particular
to encourage Multiplayer: Just make use of the Gathering Hub already.
Disable SOS Investigations altogether
Just make use of the gathering hub already.
Give monsters a general health buff in Solo Play
I know some people are not going to agree with me here, but they really don't have
enough health in Solo Play.
Honestly I wouldn't even mind if Investigations were LOCKED to multiplayer health pools, but
I am sure a lot of people would riot… At the very least, it would encourage more
people going online with their investigations, I know it would for me, rather hogging them
for myself, as at the moment, running them solo will always be the fastest available option
Remove the 2-Player restriction
This one just boggles my mind, why would you want to even further strangle the already
non-existing online-interactivity, especially when a 2-man team is pretty much the "hardest"
available option to choose from… pair that with lower faint allowances and it will most
definitely get soloed! #offline4life
Hand out TEMPERED investigations when you break a TEMPERED monster's parts
Currently the only way to get Tempered Investigations
is by picking up tempered tracks.
Receiving new investigations by breaking monster parts will only net you normal Investigations.
This makes farming new Tempered Elder Investigations a very slow process all around, both on mashing
through the SOS requests as well as getting new ones for yourself.
This is pretty much where I stand and what I think could be done to better and enhance
the multiplayer, which when it comes to the fun factor is most important to me in the
grand scheme of things.
This is a co-op game, there are no real competitive aspects to it, so having fun, should always
at the very top of the list.
BUT there's also the issue of quest rewards, regardless of playing Solo or with other hunters,
so I want to share my issues on that end as well.
The endgame grind almost exclusively revolves around playing the RNG lottery and hoping
that you'll get something you can use.
I am not calling this a lottery just for the sake of it, as this is for all intents and
purposes just a straight up lucky draw.
You have no idea what you'll get and there doesn't seem to be a payout system that
is monster specific either, like it was in Monster Hunter 4 and 4G for example.
"Better" things payout with Tier 3 Tempered monsters, a tier that is exclusive to Elder
Dragons, which limits the endgame to farming a grand total of 5 monsters over and over
and over.
Let's be honest here though, it's 4 monsters really, because who in their right mind is
going to keep fighting Kirin?
This is by far my biggest gripe with the endgame grind, that I can't really fight any other
monsters other than Kirin, Vaal Hazak, Kushala, Teo and Nergigante.
I am specifically looking for the highest grade of Decorations and Hero's Streamstones,
meaning fighting any other monster will significantly decrease my chances, if not outright drop
them to zero, in getting what I want.
I am not really sure if Rarity 8 decorations and Hero's Streamstones can actually drop
from Tier 2 Tempered monsters, but I do know that the chances are significantly higher
at Tier 3.
This really has a huge impact on your willingness to play the game.
I am used to grinding and I am used to being at the mercy of the desire sensor, but there's
only so much I can take, when the payout is completely randomised and you're forced
to fight the same five monsters who knows how often until it drops.
The solution here is simple; promote a few a higher ranking monsters to the same tier
as that of the Elder Dragons in terms of Tempered Investigations.
Bazelgeuse, Blue Leus, the upcoming Eviljoe, Black Diablos and whoever else, just give
them a bit more health, or some other buffs and promote them.
Anything is fine as long as it breaks up the monotony of running the same handful of monsters
ad nauseam.
This is just anti humanity in my opinion.
Just for the record in 220+ hours I have yet to get a Hero's Streamstone: Axe, oh you
know, the only one I actually need.
The drop rate is ludicrously low as it is, but then when one finally drops; it's for
a damn hammer!
A weapon I have no use for...
I have three Hero's Streamstone: Hammer in fact, I am sure there's a Hammer user
out there somewhere with 3 or more Axe ones and has yet to find a hammer one.
It's the most disappointing feeling you can put upon a player, because you're not
earning anything, you're just clocking in hours at the mercy of a very unrewarding RNG
system.
Heaven forbid you really want to go all in, but let's assume you actually do want to
max out your Weapons.
I have 19 Slash Axes, to max out augmentation on all of them I would need 50 Warrior's
Streamstones for the Rarity 6 and 7 Axes, that's 18 for Rarity 6 and 32 for Rarity
7 and I would also need 5 Hero's Streamstones for the Rarity 8 Slash Axes.
So far I have 2 Warrior's Streamstone: Axe…
I know it's sad.
I can offer two solutions to this problem, the first one is simply to add an Elder Melder
option specifically for turning one useless Hero's Streamstone into one you need.
Or if they're feeling that's being a little too nice, make it two for one plus whatever
Zenny or Point amount is required.
The other option is to take away the weapon specificity and just make it Warrior's Streamstones
to augment any weapon class of Rarity 6 and Rarity 7 and Hero's Streamstone to augment,
again, ANY weapon class of Rarity 8.
Seriously, I have nothing else to do in this game, just let me augment my weapons already.
Lastly, I didn't get the chance to duplicate any decorations, so yes, I am still stuck
with that one and only Attack decoration.
This isn't so much an issue of course, but I still feel that most options in acquiring
more and better decorations legitimately, are rather limited and stuck behind RNG walls
just like the Streamstones are.
Just add more options to the Elder Melder, because presently the Gacha System running
on that one, is even worse than just hoping for better Investigation rewards.
Just come one, just give us something.
In case my intro didn't make it obvious, I absolutely love this game, but there are
still some things that do grind my gears.
Let me know in the comments what you think about the current multiplayer aspects, do
you like them as they are, or would you also like to see some changes, or what your take
is on how the endgame is currently playing out, how you're dealing with it and what
changes you would like to see there.
A big heartfelt thank you to the few of you that watched this video all the way to the

1 simple trick to attract any person you like according to science | animated video - Duration: 2:53.
1 simple trick to attract any person you like according to science
welcome to lifestyle therapy channel, stay tuned.
according to science the most effective way to attract someone is to be funny
i know it may same obvious or weird to some of you but let me show you why
Research has shown the connection between humour and attraction many times.
One study asked 35 volunteers, to rate the Facebook profiles of 100 strangers, 300 students
to fill out a survey on humour and courtship, and then 51 single volunteers to spend 10
minutes, chatting to a partner they'd never met, and rate how attractive they were.
The conclusion was if men made more effort to be funny, and they got more laughter in
response, they had better chances of romance.
Another study looked at how males and females differ in how they value their partner's humour.
The researchers asked 129 students to complete tasks, about how they respond to humour, and
also how they want their humour to be received.
Men emphasised the importance of their partner to laugh at their jokes, whereas women valued
both production and reception of humour equally.
the results of another study of 60 women.
It found that women were three times more likely to give their phone number, to a man
who told the jokes, than one who didn't.
The humorous men were also considered more attractive, intelligent, funny and sociable.
Professor Jeffrey Hall, a communications studies researcher at the University of Kansas, surveyed
the findings of 39 studies of over 15,000 participants to analyse the importance of
humour in relationships.
According to Hall, the fact that people think you're funny, or that you can make a joke
out of anything, is not strongly related to how satisfied you or your partner will be
in a relationship.
What is strongly related to relationship satisfaction however, is the humour couples create together.
Playfulness between partners is crucial to building a lasting relationship, says Hall,
because it creates bonds and establishes security.
So if you want to guess which couples will last the longest, look out for the ones who
are laughing together.
