Parents, family, and friends are suffering right now as they lay to rest the victims
of the Parkland area school shooting.
17 people lost their lives, and multiple others were injured when a mass shooting took place
on February 14, 2018.
The shooter, Nikolas Cruz, unleashed shots into students and staff as the cowardly Broward
officers sat outside too afraid to do their job and save lives of innocent victims.
Families mourn the loss of loved ones, social media blasts the Broward Cowards, and two
teenagers are traveling around as if they're on a high horse talking about gun control
and gun laws.
Most people take this time to remember the lives of the people they lost, but then there's
always someone who takes advantage of the situation and uses it to further their own
agenda, and that's just shameful.
The two teens parading around with their social warrior agenda are Emma Gonzalez and David
Hogg.
They're racking up thousands of Twitter followers, soaking up their 15 minutes of
fame, and acting as if anyone is genuinely taking them seriously.
The same generation which required stores to lock up Tide Pods so the kids would stop
eating them has magically become experts of the Constitution and Second Amendment.
The same generation slurping on detergent all of a sudden wants Americans to take them
seriously.
These are the same group of teenagers who've used the tragedy to skip class and call it
a "protest" or a "march against guns" – but really, it's just cutting class
and the kids face suspension and a possible date in the truancy court.
They can Tweet and march all they want, but it's just nonsense and not accomplishing
anything but giving them attention and a few days off from school.
They don't realize that their actions are being viewed by many and not being taken seriously
by any.
Real progress does not involve skipping class to protest when they can protest on their
own after school or on the weekends.
Real growth does not include thousands of kids walking around a neighborhood, through
a mall, or cutting class with big smiles on their face as they play around.
Meanwhile, families of the victims are attending funerals as the other kids joke around like
it's one big party.
If that doesn't make it sad, then take into consideration the disrespectful teenager who
went from being just another teen to some kid who thinks it's OK to lash out at President
Trump as if Trump is to blame for the school shooting.
Trump had nothing to do with the school shooting – just like millions of other Americans.
For some reason, the one teen, David Hogg, wants to bash Trump for being a draft dodger.
Perhaps Hogg doesn't realize that trashing the guy in charge of the country is not the
way to open civil discourse, nor is it the way to progress issues that need action.
David Hogg would have been wiser to address Trump respectfully like the old saying goes
– give respect to get it back.
Perhaps that's not in Hogg's plan.
Maybe he wants to act like a far left intolerant liberal whose primary attack is name calling
and labeling people.
It would behoove Hogg to change his ways and address his elders with more respect so that
he can have a chance of being taken seriously by those who rule the country.
If the Trump administration wanted to hear from a court jester, they would have gotten
John McCain on the phone.
It seems like David Hogg is enjoying his Twitter account very much as he goes after a few prominent
faces in the media.
Some people can't tell if that's him Tweeting or someone is running his account.
I find it very strange that Hogg would know who Alex Jones is.
I know what Alex would say "why wouldn't he know who I am!"
It's just not someone that a typical teenager would be reading or paying attention to.
David Hogg attacked President Trump and called him a draft dodger:
He also attacked Alex Jones from Infowars, but there was no mention of the flamboyant
frogs:
Hogg mentioned the mentally ill not being able to get weapons, which is something all
intelligent people agreed to years ago, about the time he was born:

Not sure why Hogg is attacking him this often.
Maybe Alex Jones IS David Hogg?
I think I clearly see what he is clearly talking about now.
I suppose Alex Jones taunted David Hogg, and Hogg clearly replied with his clearly clear

They shouldn't cancel just because you're angry:
As you can see, there's a lot of teenage rage happening on Twitter.
If we can be honest for a moment, that's just how Twitter is.
Twitter is one of the most useless social media apps you could ever download.
As soon as you get it, you're invited to every teenage high school level argument in
the world.
Twitter is one big argument, and it's best to avoid altogether.
As for the teens turning into social media warriors, it would be nice if they remembered
how old they were and went back to enjoying their teenage years.
It would be a shame if these kids spent their early years acting like mid 20's gender
studies majors who have no job.
At least these kids can have a chance after high school – if they ever go back.
Remember your youth, kids.
This is not how you should spend your days as a teen.
Go outside.
Ride a bike.
Join a club, but by all means, get yourselves off Twitter and do something fun for once.

I TRIED FOLLOWING A JACLYN HILL MAKEUP TUTORIAL - GLITTER CUT CREASE - Duration: 18:46.
Hey guys so for today's video I am going to be following a Jacqueline Hill makeup
tutorial I'm really excited for this I've been seeing so many people doing
this and I figured who better to do than the makeup Queen at Jacqueline Hill
herself I'm even wearing denim in today's video because that's so
Jacqueline hill she loves her denim as do I but I decided to do her really
beautiful rose gold and purple smokey eye in combination with her inner glow
foundation routine so you guys are gonna get full face details and full eye
details it's gonna be exciting I am so happy I did this you guys it really took
me outside of my comfort zone got me to try a new technique and I'm really
really really thankful because I'm feeling like super inspired like I
learned so many new techniques in this video that I really like so if you guys
are interested in checking out me following a Jaclyn hill Tottori how it
turned out for me what techniques I learned then make sure to keep on
watching but I am trying it at home ok so it looks like she also puts a lighter
shade in the center of her face so the only lighter like kind of stick that I
found is this Wet n Wild makeup stick concealing stick in the shade follow
your bisque do the exact same as she has so she's using the duo foundation I have
tried to do our foundation and I wasn't a fan of it but I think I was I don't
know could have been like a one-time thing I do want to give it another shot
plus I didn't even get my right shade so anyways I'm just gonna take my giorgio
armani luminous silk foundation in the shade 6.5
the touch of Dewey luminous skin miss the majori at the time I'm gonna do is
I'm gonna spray this flat side of the beauty sponge right like this and get
that nice and wet I'm gonna begin to just pounce all over my skin and blend
this all together so this is actually a pretty good idea kind of taking the
tatcha luminous to dewy skin mist and putting it on the sponge like that's a
good little tip I just love watching all that evenness and concealer I'm using
light/medium how's that if you guys feel like concealer doesn't work for you of
course you can use any eye primer you want but this is what has worked for me
for years and I just set my eye with powder and I'm good to go I feel like it
gives me the best eyeshadow primer out of anything I've ever tried it okay
we're gonna take that lighter shade we're gonna put it right down the chin
alright go the Cupid's bow I'm gonna put right around my nose I'm gonna put my
put up here in the center I feel like this is something that I will never stop
doing highlighting the center of my face I'm gonna make sure I really get into
the crevices of my nose because I hate that when like you don't have the time
to blend everything out perfectly and then you look at yourself in the
daylight and you have like foundation built up around the little cracks of
your nose so make sure you get in there with the pointy side so what I'm gonna
do is I'm gonna go in with these Charlotte Tilbury
flawless finish airbrush powder and shade number two right here
so I don't have the Lancome powder which it looks and sounds amazing it kind of
has a very luminous it's like a luminous setting powder the best thing I could
find that the you know claims to be kind of you luminous is the Too Faced Born
This Way ether all setting powder I thought about whom what if I just take
like a sheer more like a sheer highlight and kind of mix it in with that so I'm
gonna try to use a sheer highlighted and also put all over the face you guys will
see like her setting powder looks like a highlighter on moles so I'm gonna try to
do that and then I don't have the Charlotte Tilbury I really want to try
that powder because a lot of people like it instead I'm going to use this urban
decay powder I'm gonna go with this first shade right here you can see is
very loved that so I am gonna mix the middle shade as well just because I'm a
bit tanner then she was in this video so she goes ahead and does her eye makeup
and then she moves on what we're gonna do is finish the entire face and then
I'm gonna go ahead and do my eye makeup but let's just finish the rest of this
tutorial and do the face so I'm gonna put some of the powder here but I'm also
going to open up this highlight and this highlight I'm not gonna use it heavily
but these are already pretty sheer highlights like they're not like
extremely pigmented so I'm gonna kind of mix the two very lightly just to kind of
emphasize that highlighting effect melt into my skin and doesn't give that
white cast it just becomes a beautiful radiant powder like would you guys who
really see how much this transforms my skin now you don't want an all-over
highlight like I do because I go extreme definitely just put this on the cheek
area just in here you know what I really love that like mixing these two the
ether ole setting powder it doesn't have that high living effect like hers does
so I might have to try that Lancome powder but mixing these two you guys I'm
putting it on the face like I don't know if you guys can see that very slight
glow from within so I don't have the NARS highlighting palette so I'm just
gonna use Becca champagne pop with Jaclyn hill you know in in theme of whoa
it makes such a difference okay so with a setting spray I recently
have in love with the Lyla be setting spray I'm gonna use the touch ID
luminous dewy skin miss instead because I don't have that one but it seems like
they're pretty similar
the highlight is really nice except what I would do is just you know I feel like
I took the highlight so thick that when it applies I have like a thick line of
highlight I would just pinch it do the same effect cuz I will say the highlight
looks very wet and a little bit like she said sweaty but like a nice sweaty not
bad sweaty yeah so now that my brows are done and I already just set my eyelid
like she did in the tutorial so let's get started she's using kind of a medium
tone warmish Brown like she said so I decided to pull out the modern I am
going to her eye shape is also very different than mine she has deeper set
eyes whereas minor bit hooded and I do have less lid space so we'll see so from
inner to outer again I feel like I did this I a bit better because I switched
over to a brush like this whereas before I used a brush like this so you know
that was kind of my bad on that I yeah this looks much better kind of regret
this I wonder if I should redo it so what I'm gonna do is go over that with
some concealer pretend it never happened and redo that with some raw Sienna
cuz I know she mentioned she's using like a long brush not a round fluffy one
so she's gonna use this really bright orange shade next so I am actually gonna
go into the Jaclyn hill palette and I'm going to take this bright rusty orange
here but mix it with some of this orange here cuz it'll just make everything
easier on when you do go to cut out the crease so as you can see I'm going back
and forth over this many times just to make sure that we don't have any
hardships whatsoever by the way I am using a morphe m5 18 brush and just set
that right in the crease so I'm gonna keep this a little bit lower because the
other two colors like the warm brown and oh that's beautiful oh really tight in
that crease
feel like I just need a little blending so I'm gonna dust off this and just go
in with this I mean you guys when do I ever do and I look like this like never
the technique is just very different normally I just do something more smoky
and smudgy whereas this is just precise and wildly beautiful this brush by the
way is the morphe M 506
okay so what I'm gonna do is take that same magenta shade and in her she has I
feel like her purple is a little bit darker so I'm literally taking the
slightest bit of black like see just a little bit and that's just gonna darken
it a bit because her purple was definitely just deeper so going back in
with this brush here with no shadow I'm just gonna go over that so she's using a
cranberry shade so I'm gonna take the one that's just in her palette it may
not be exact but you know it's a cranberry it'll do what she did say was
she liked it just in the crease so that's what I'm gonna do take a good
amount and just kind of blend that in the crease okay so now we're gonna cut
that crease now this is the part where if I was kind of doing my own look I
would go over my crease because I would be creating a new crease but she's
mapping out just her own lid I'm gonna you know follow that but we'll we'll see
how this goes any concealer that you have and any
synthetic brush that you have and this is the mac 242 brush that's nice and
flat so it works perfect for this I'm literally just gonna carve out and cut
that crease and as you can see it is so not bad no bad it's not perfect in that
bad so I'm switching over to a morphe m500 7 because it is a bit smaller than
the one that I was previously just using I'm just gonna go you know right on that
line and just wow I'm feeling pretty artistic this is just makeup geeks white
lies I'm gonna put that in between the white and the purple I'm gonna grab a
purple just go back and forth back and forth until so she's using some gel
liner just to do a winged liner I'm just gonna use my NYX matte liquid liner
she mentioned that she mixed in a rose gold II kind of shade with it I actually
have the same Urban Decay glitter but in the shade cat call which is a bit more
pinky so it's gonna have the same effect as her you know putting a rose gold
glitter
so she's just running the brown all the way on the lower lash but kind of looks
like she also put the orange shade on the lower lash so I'm just gonna do that
now so I don't have that diamond powder but I do have this one in the shade
blinded by the light yeah I think that's what it's called from two-faced and
she's just putting that right underneath the arch while you guys we are finally
done I feel like I've been doing my makeup for like two hours now it has
been two hours I'm gonna go in again with some more more peace pray because
why not I know Jackson would so I don't have the exact lip color that she used
so I'm gonna try to get like a similar shade to her she did like a peachy pinky
nude so I'm gonna go in with NYX natural then I'm gonna go in with the litter of
Kylie's birthday suit and I'm gonna top it off with the dose of colors of gloss
in on repeat mix in a little bit of honey I'm home okay you guys so that is
it for the final look I really hope you guys enjoyed this video
overall I learned so many techniques in this video that I really loved the
applying a highlighter with the damp sponge and I actually really like
spraying the tatcha luminous dewy skin mist on the sponge and then working with
the foundation I don't notice that my foundation is fading or anything like
that which would normally happen if I used too much of the touch of dude do
you live in his skin miss but I guess mixing it with the foundation it turned
out really well there is a couple things I would change I wouldn't do the
highlight as thick as I applied it and I do notice that my face looks a little
bit cakey I don't think that Jacqueline Hills looks cakey at all I think that is
just because we have different skin types I have oily skin and she has dry
skin so just applying so much of the dewy luminous skin mist and then
applying to powders I think just didn't work out in my
favor it just does look a little bit cakey a little bit powdery I think
that's just cause of my skin type but other than that honestly I love it I'm
in love with the eyes I learned so many new things from this video hopefully you

Djent Reary || A "quick" breakdown of how I mix metal in FL Studio - Duration: 6:53.
Hey there! You read the description! Nice.
So what we have here is a small song demonstrating how I mix metal with FL Studio.
For those familiar with the demo projects in FL Studio, you'll recognize the Blake Reary vocals.
In this video, I'm just going to break down the individual instruments to show how I've mixed them.
A detailed breakdown of the FX and settings used to get to this mix will come in a later video. Remember, this is a "quick" breakdown.
So let's start with how the guitars sound.
For the guitars, I'm using Shreddage II and Pod Farm 2 for the amp sim
To get Shreddage to play drop C#1, the pitch knob was set to -6 semitones
Here is what the guitar DI sounds like by itself.
Now, let's check the bass.
For the bass, I'm using Texas Grind.
Sadly, it only has one octave of sampled notes, which hampers what kind of notes can be played
You can hear that it's resampling the lowest note in order to play F.
Additionally there are no palm-mute articulations, so to simulate these, I use staccato as shown here.
Here's the bass DI showing how there is already some grit that helps with the distortion later on.
I layer all the included versions of Texas Grind to achieve this.
Here's the exciting part: drums
The drums are from Chango Studio's FOP Kit, with all the samples loaded into FPC for granular control.
Additional cymbals are from the included samples in FL Studio.
To get these drums to sound THICC, only basic EQing was used, along with Fruity Limiter to control the roominess.
Here's how the drums sound like raw.
You can hear the effect of how well EQing and using Fruity Limiter is on making the drums sound more decent.

So here's the melody section.
The MIDI is basically ripped straight from the "Nowhere Near" demo project.
I prefer Sytrus since it's been in FL Studio forever and it's pretty simple.

Now, let's hear how the bassline and drums work together.
The kick drum is sidechained to the bass channel, with Fruity Limiter ducking the bass.
Now, let's see how the guitars and bass play with each other.
Also, a caveat with these VST plugins: they sometimes like to cut out during live performance on my end.

Hi, I am Diána. I want to show you how to make a chenille donut pendant with Swarovski bicone crystals.

To make this pendant you need Swarovski bicone crystals in size 4 mm,
fire polishd beads in size 3 mm,
Seed beads in size 11/0,
beading needle in size 10 and
nylon beading thread or fishing line in size 0.2 mm.
Pick up a seed bead, two pieces 3 mm beads, a seed bead, two pieces bicone crystals,
a seed bead and two pieces bicone crystals on the thread.
Place them on the end of the thread and tie a knot to form a ring leaving a 4 inch long tail.
Pass through the seed bead next to the knot. You created the first two rows.
Pick up two pieces 3 mm beads and pass through the next seed bead.
Pick up two pieces 4 mm crystals, and sew through the next seed bead.
Pick up two pieces 4 mm crystals and pass through the next seed bead.
Sew through the 3 mm bead you first added. This is the third row.
In this round you need three seed beads.
Pick up a seed bead.
Sew through the next two beads: in this case a 3 mm bead and a 4 mm crystal.
Pick up a seed bead and pass through the next two beads,
so the next two 4 mm crystals.
Pick up the last seed bead and pass through the next two beads:
in this case a 4 mm crystal and a 3 mm bead.
Sew through the seed bead you first added in this round. This is the fourth row.
Pick up a 3 mm bead and a 4 mm crystal. Pass through the next seed bead.
Pick up two 4 mm crystals and sew through the next seed bead. Pull the thread.
Pick up a 4 mm crystal and a 3 mm bead and sew through the next seed bead.
Pass through the 3 mm bead you first added.

Repeat this two more times.
Then sew through the seed bead you first added.
From this point on repeat steps from 3 to 6 until the chenille chain has the length of 36 rows.
Pay attention to the sizes of the beads at steps 3 & 5.
Always put 4 mm crystals over the 4 mm crystals, and
3 mm beads over the 3 mm beads.
So at repeating step 3 add
two 3 mm beads and 2 times two 4 mm crystals
according to the position of the beads and crystals.
As repeating step 5 add two 4 mm crystals,
a 4 mm crystal with a 3 mm bead and
a 3 mm bead with a 4 mm crystal according to the position of the beads and crystals.
As Repeating steps 4 and 6, after you added a seed bead, always pass through the next two beads.
At the end of every row pass through the bead you first added in the current row.
Before you close the beaded ring end the tail of the thread. Pass through some beads and cut the thread.

Stereotypes. They're annoying to me. People create this notion.
They create stories.
The only label I actually truly claim is that I'm an artist.
Anger, sadness or anything like that; you just take it and you just turn it into art.
I'm Ezekiel Claire. I'm 18 years old and I'm from Harlem, New York City.
As an African-American, living in Harlem is awesome.
Because that's where art that we create, came from.
When I was younger, around ten or nine, my mother had a camera.
She didn't use it that much, so it was just there. And I just started playing with it.
I was like, "ok mom, this camera is mine now".
So I took that camera, and then I made my first film.
I want to direct. I want to be like Christopher Nolan.
He was my inspiration.
I went to school in Gramercy Arts, in Manhattan. That's where I learned screenwriting and stuff like that.
The fellowship initiative by JPMorgan Chase, they help us with college readiness,
and even the playing field for young men of color.
They really did prepare us for college.
The agenda wasn't to make hard workers in corporate America.
But, to make fighters, and people who will no matter what, stand their ground.
Brotherhood is important to young men of color. The whole point is we all will climb this ladder together.
I remember our program manager was saying "if one of us don't graduate, then we all don't graduate".
The fellowship initiative helped me learn how to actually be a team player and how to work with other people.
So I guess in my perspective because of the programs, is that you need another person to succeed.
And that was the whole point.
They told us we would get mentors, at the beginning. They actually really tried to match everyone up
which was cool and I appreciate that. I just think that relationship, that mentor-mentee relationship is really important.
Especially if you're a struggling student, and you have someone to talk to, who went through the same thing.
Anyone that's just ready to be there for you, was really nice.
And that was probably my favorite part of the program.
We applied to 18 schools, I selected SUNY Purchase, because I just couldn't go to a school that wasn't an art school.
Especially if I'd went to an art school my entire life.
I hope to never lose my passion as a filmmaker, and as an artist.
It's good to know who you are. And to find that person first.
From there, everything isn't easy, but it's much easier.

I'm Arden David-Perrot and I used to be a professional rugby player, but that's not
the only thing that defines me.
Finishing school after failing every year, I came back home, I came back to Porirua - really
with nothing.
I felt that failure in school meant that I would amount to nothing in life.
And so coming back here I kind of fell into the trap of not believing in myself.
All I had going for me was that I was a big enough kind of dude that I could probably
play rugby at some level and that's all I went on.
If you think about the guys that were coming up in this city man we were starting to produce
All Blacks, that had grew up in Porirua.
So it was a little bit of inspiration for me, guys like John Schwalger, Faifili, Serge,
Jerry Collins, Rodney - just gave me a little bit of hope that if those guys could do it
then maybe I could have a little bit of hope in myself that I could.
Maybe there was a little bit of something in me that was similar to them, maybe I could
find my own little bit of greatness.
Being asked to leave the college that I went to in town because I wasn't doing anything
in my seventh form year, being asked to leave and being told that you had to go find a job
with no qualifications, being brown and being from Porirua I was kind of stuck.
I was stuck in a rut and I didnt know what to do.
I spend a lot of time in this neighbourhood just drinking with my mates, and drinking
every night - trying to escape our reality.
Escape the fact that I had nothing to show for the last 17 years of my life.
The thing is you dont think about all the good stuff that you'd done up to that it was
kind of, that when you fail school its almost like you understand that you failed in life.
I think they weigh so much on doing well at school in New Zealand that when you don't
do well, it's kind of attached that you won't do well in life and so you give up.
In terms of my thinking - I was real depressed - school wasn't going right, family life was
necessarily perfect, real tough time happening with my family so my family is splitting up.
Experiencing some of the stuff that I had to when I was young in terms of my family...
So I made an oath to myself that while I wouldn't probably be the most talented rugby player
in Wellington, that what I could be was the hardest working.
As you know my oath paid off and I was successful in my ambition in terms of rugby, but what
happens when that all falls away?

It's 100% possible to learn English in Brazil,
without going the U.S., without going to England,
Australia, whatever.
If you live in Brazil and you don't have the means,
the resources to go abroad,
don't worry, you can learn English.
A lot of people like to preach this idea that
if you really want to learn English,
there's no other way besides going to the U.S.
You gotta go to the U.S.,
there's no way in hell that you're going to learn
English here in Brazil,
all my friends that know English have been to the U.S.,
and that's how they learned.
This is just a huge bull shit preached by people
that weren't able to put in the necessary amount
of time, they didn't learn the language,
and now, they just want to drag you down into their
little black hole of just lazy asses, you know?
Just put in the time!
If you want to learn English,
actually, you just need two things.
Number one, a good method for learning the language.
Because if you're studying with a shitty method,
it's not going to cut it, it's not going to work.
So, number one, a good method.
By the way, I have a surprise for you,
regarding a good method, just stay with me,

Number two, you need to put in the time,
you need to study every day.
And a lot of people, "No, no, you go to the U.S.!"

Don't think you're goign to go to the U.S.,

If you're a lazy ass here in Brazil,

So, just delete this idea from your mind,
that you need to go to the U.S.

Don't think about when I'm going to be fluent.
Just study English every single day,
30 minutes a day, one hour a day, whatever.
Dedicate, put in the time, make it happen.
Another very important advice.
As you study every day,
try to not compare yourself with your friends
or people that are already fluent in the language.
Just try to be better when it comes to English.
Just study every day,
and make sure you are making progress,
make sure that your English today is better than
it was yesterday, and yesterday your English
is better than the day before yesterday.
And as long as you're making progress,
it's just a matter of time until you reach
fluency in the language.

Kia ora koutou. The System Transformation team's focus at the moment is on getting ready to seek
decisions from Cabinet on the MidCentral prototype.
I'm really excited about
we are getting Ministers together to talk about the prototype
and it would be the first time that we've got disabled people talking to Ministers about the processes we've done to date
what's on the high-level design and what it will look like in practice.
That's taking a lot of our focus is getting the Cabinet paper and getting ready for
implementation of the prototype. We're also starting to work on some of the new working groups. So in the next two weeks
people will be receiving invitations
For the working groups that are kicking off this year. The tax working group, the market shaping working group, the brand and identity
The
whanau ora working group and the one on social investment.
Which we're not still entirely sure exactly what we're going to call
But it's going to be more about early investment and what we can do to invest earlier in people's lives.
We're also continuing to receive a lot of feedback from the virtual testing groups and will continue to consider that until the end of March
We're also about to go out for virtual testing on the outputs from two of the other working groups
So one is around what we originally talked about as the interface with Oranga Tamariki
But when we started to look at how
government agencies worked together
around children,
interactions didn't just involve the disability support system and Oranga Tamariki. They really needed to work with other people
particularly
education in schools and the health system
But also there was a range of other government agencies who may be involved.
So the information that's going out for virtual testing will be looking at how does government work together around children.
The other
group, working group as the interface with health, so this interface between the disability support
system and health and that information will be going out for virtual testing as well.
As I said before we are still looking for feedback on virtual testing and
we will be continuing to look for feedback up until the end of March.
