5 Scary and Mythical Creatures. Part 2 - Duration: 3:19.

5 Scary and Mythical Creatures.

Part 2.

Our world is full of folklore about legendary, mythical and supernaturally dangerous creatures

lurking around the corners waiting to grab their prays.

Some of these are inspired by living animals and fossils found through excavation projects.

This is the second episode about five mythical creatures that will leave you wondering or

even scared to even visit such places in life.

Let's begin.

Number one.

Inkanyamba

This legendary creature is another myth from the south African lore.

The serpent is said to be living in a waterfall lake area in the northern forests close to

Pietermaritzburg.

The Zulu tribes in the region believe it to be a much larger serpent with a head that

looks like a horse.

This mythical creature is considered to be very active in the summer period, and it is

believed that the Inkanyamba's anger causes the seasonal storms to be brutal.

Number two.

Teke Teke

This mythical creature comes from the lore of Japan about a ghost of a girl who met with

a train accident that caused her body to be separated.

She drags her self around seeking to dismember others with a scythe.

She is known as one of the most violent creatures described in folklore.

According to the legend, A young schoolboy was a victim at an all-boys school where she

stood by the window to get him attracted.

Suddenly she jumped out of the window and revealed her true self.

Frightened schoolboy lost his life, and his body met the same fate as "Teke Teke."

Number three.

Gashadokuro

They are the spirits that take the form of giant skeletons that are more than fifteen

times larger than an average human being.

It is believed that these creatures are made out of those who died of starvation in battle

or without being properly buried after death.

According to the legend, they are known to devour on travelers heads.

Yet again another violent, mythical creature from the folklore passed down.

Number four.

Gargoyle

According to a legend, one story goes as saint Romanus subduing this creature with a crucifix

or capturing it with the help of others who volunteered.

After this scenario, the monster is then burned, but due to it self-being tempered by its breath

of fire, its head and neck couldn't be burned down.

The head was then mounted on the walls of the newly built church to scare off evil spirits

as was also used as a protection.

Number five.

Wendigo

The legend provides its name to the controversial modern medical term Wendigo psychosis, described

by psychiatrists as a culture-bound syndrome with symptoms such as an intense craving for

human flesh and fear of becoming a cannibal.

This situation occurs after they become too starving to avoid eating human flesh of fellow

survivors that drive them into madness.

They are known to be supernaturally strong and are able to hear things so well.

This concludes the part 2 for scary and mythical creatures in the series.

See you again with another list very soon.

Thank you for watching this video and take care.

Existence of EVIL (English Subtitle) معضلة وجود الشر في العالم - Duration: 6:56.

May Allah's peace, mercy and his greetings be upon you!

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds

and may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon the messenger Muhammad

and upon all his family and companions.

Welcome all!

"Why does evil exist in this world?!"

This is the most famous atheistic question in the West at all.

We, Muslims, believe that there's evil in this world because it's a trial world and we're commissioned too.

Period.

Allah says in The Noble Qur'an; [Chapter 21, Verse 35]:

"and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial."

There are good and evil as you're commissioned

and that is the purpose of your existence in this worldly life.

Allah says in The Noble Qur'an; [Chapter 67, Verse 2]:

"He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed"

What is interesting is the existence of evil is the strongest evidence for religion and against atheism.

If we were a result of the material world, we'd never perceive neither the meaning of good nor evil.

Because according to the atheistic vision,

we live according to strict imperatives

and we are governed by the laws of nature.

According to this framework, we would never perceive what evil is at all.

Do the most evolved animals realize the dilemma of evil?

Richard Dawkins admits this problem as he says, "The universe has no evil and no good."

Perceiving and comprehension of evil proofs that we are not a result of this material world

but we derive our comprehension of evil from other non-materialistic introduction.

And that we belong to a heavenly introduction through which we comprehend the meaning of evil and commissioning.

This is the only explanation behind comprehension of evil.

If we had been a result of this material world and the whole universe had been meaningless,

we wouldn't have come to know that it's meaningless!

Hence, there's no evil according to the atheistic conception.

Likewise, in religion, there's no pure evil but a trial or affliction.

It's normal that we don't understand some points of divinely wisdom concerning affliction.

Descartes says, "I have no reason to complain because God didn't grant me a higher ability to understand."

So it's so normal that some things remain not understandable.

As long as we're commissioned and there's divinely wisdom,

then it's so normal that some things remain not understandable.

As commissioning is based upon wisdom

and wisdom is based upon secrecy.

God showed the wisdom of al-Ḫiḍr's deeds to Prophet Moses PBUH

even though they may look

However, it contains great good.

The story of al-Ḫiḍr's and Prophet Moses PBUH wasn't mentioned in the Noble Qur'an by the way of narration and recital

but in order to remind people of contemplation and admission the lack of human understanding

and making hasty judgment.

So no one can consider affliction as a claim against the divinely wisdom.

Our judgment is limited [minor] due to our perceptual natural, the way look at things and the fact that we're commissioned.

Your worldly life is the beginning of eternal life;

If you do good deeds, yield to God during this life as you can,

take affliction that stroke you into consideration and thinking (divinely wisdom in afflictions),

be patient and thanked God,

your eternal future will be so well.

at that moment, you may know some of the divinely wisdom.

If you bear some pain and affliction, you will prove that you're contented with God's judgment.

For instance, the martyr, who got killed, wished if he could go back to life to taste that death tens of times.

Because he had known that pain was the step between him and God's unbounded bounty.

Some atheists ask, "Why is there commissioning with the existence of evil?

Wasn't it possible to be commissioning without evil?!"

First, Allah says in The Noble Qur'an; [Chapter 28, Verse 68]:

"And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses."

It's not you who decide what God the Almighty does or chooses.

It isn't possible to have free will without the existence of good and evil.

You're free to choose and do whatever you want; belief or disbelief & do and don't.

It's impossible to have free will while you are obliged to do only good.

This is not considered free will at all.

Existence of evil and affliction are natural requirement of free will.

Evil gets the best out of the good person

and the worst our of the bad one.

The dilemma of evil makes the good-hearted people generous and the spiteful ones become vicious.

The funniest thing is that atheists deny God because there's evil in this world.

The funniest thing is that they bring you photos of people have afflictions

to beg you emotions so that you could decide on this result.

There is no God.

If the father is beneficent and he wants the good to his son,

then why did he allow the doctor to do the operation?!

The operation resulted in pain, so the father doesn't exist!

Which is wiser, the result atheist concluded

or the certainty in the divine commissioning, finality of existence and the correctness of messages' concepts

according to the existence of evil?!

Evil itself is a proof that you're commissioned

and Atheism is wrong.

There's another world that you derive the meaning and purpose of your existence and ethical values.

If you understand what evil means, that world must be existed!

Because there is moral data inside you.

Because you feel your existence and its purpose.

Because there's a conflict inside you between good and evil; Do & Don't.

That conflict isn't explained via genetic encoding or materialism.

That conflict only means that you're commissioned.

Every novel, play, movie and drama work must include embodiment of good and evil.

Because human being is only understood in this framework.

This is one of the clearest proofs of divine commissioning within you.

Allah says in The Noble Qur'an; [Chapter 76, Verse 3]

"We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful rests on his will."

Allah says in The Noble Qur'an; [Chapter 90, Verse 10]

"And shown him the two highways?"

the two ways of righteousness and corruption.

the two ways of being contented with God's judgment and despondency.

You're subjected to the moral values and existentialism in all of your actions.

You are only subjected to the formation of hydrogen, genetic encoding and hormones within your body framework.

There's no more appropriate than the divinely commissioning in this world.

Of course I'm talking about the world of human being not atoms and materialism.

And this reflects (shows) the contradiction between human being and material world.

Evil is one of the greatest evidences that prove the correctness of messages.

Because revelation and messages show us why evil exists.

This clarification correspond to your innate and outside circumstances.

Here's a piece of information I'd want to finish up with.

You'd have never gotten out of your mother's womb unless there evil had existed.

Civilization, factories and cities would have never been built unless there evil had existed.

You'd have never invented cures to prevent diseases.

You'd have never solved a problem or created an invention.

Because there's no evil, affliction, trouble, tiredness or problems you try to solve.

Evil is the necessity that must exist in this world.

So contemplate some of the divinely wisdom your encountered so that your soul may calm down.

Contemplate and think carefully and you will be convinced that you must fear God because you're commissioned.

May Allah's peace, mercy and his greetings be upon you!

How to Take Advantage of the January Effect in November - Duration: 6:21.

- In this video, I'm gonna teach you

about what is tax law selling

and what is the January effect?

(cheerful music)

What's up, Tim Sykes, millionaire mentor and trader

here answering your questions.

A lot of people ask me what is tax law selling?

What is the January effect?

Now, this is coming up, so it's very pertinent

and it's very relevant and it's very useful

for people with small accounts.

First of all, tax law selling.

If you have a big loss on any investment

and you take it before year end,

you can take that loss off your income taxes.

Okay, I'm not an accountant, I'm not some financial advisor.

I suggest that you consult a financial advisor

if you want questions answered about taxes.

I do know one, if you click the link just below this video,

it's called tradersandtaxes.com

Check that out, Tracy Coenen, fantastic accountant.

But everyone's taxes are slightly different.

That said, tax law selling applies to nearly everybody.

If you have a losing position

and you sell that losing position before the year end,

you can take it off this year's taxes.

If you don't sell the position before your year end,

which most people it's December 31st, then guess what?

Let's say you sell it in January or February.

Then you have to wait until the end of next year

to take it against your taxes.

So why would you not sell it before year end?

If you are gonna sell it within a few days or weeks,

you might as well sell it now,

take the tax benefit right now.

Meaning, let's say you made, I don't know

$100,000 on the year, and again,

I have to caution you I'm not a financial advisor

or accountant, so I'm just throwing out hypotheticals,

but this is what tax law selling is.

Let's say you made $100,000 on your job

over the course of the year.

So you have to pay like, I don't know

$40,000, $30,000 in taxes.

And then you have a $10,000 loss on some investment.

You can deduct that loss from your overall

income tax and save on taxes.

So, a loss, while it stinks, it can

actually save you money on your taxes.

And again, it's different percentages for everybody,

but it's in most people's best interests

to take the loss before year end.

If you're a mutual fund, many mutual funds

their year end does not end in December.

Mutual funds, their year ends a lot of them ends in October,

so they have to sell their positions

before their year end to take the tax loss

in the current year.

So, what does this do?

This means that a lot of beaten down stocks,

a lot of beaten down investments get more beaten down,

not because the companies are so bad,

but just because people are getting rid of those investments

so they can take the tax loss.

So that's what creates the January effect.

Now, this is what's beautiful

because let's say you take the tax loss,

but you still believe in that company.

You take the tax loss by December 31st

if that's when your year ends, right?

Take the loss, and then you say,

hey, I still believe in this company.

You buy it back January 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, whatever.

So now you have pretty much the same position

but you already took the loss, so now it's a new position

and you saved money on your taxes.

So, a lot of people buy these beaten down stocks

in January when it's a new year.

Again, if you're a mutual fund your year ends in October.

Then you might buy it back in November.

So, November, December, January.

Really it's a three month phenomenon.

A lot of these beaten down stocks,

a lot of these beaten down investments

spike 20, 30, 50, 100, 200 percent in a day

once people start saying, oh,

this is a January effect type play.

And part of the reason why you need to be

prepared ahead of time is because

this is a very inexact science, so

you can't just wait until January 1st or 2nd

to buy these stocks.

A lot of people are looking

at perspective January effect plays in December.

And if a lot of people are looking in December,

they might start looking in November.

And if people start looking in November,

they might start looking in October.

So, you have to be ahead of the crowd.

You have to anticipate, and again,

you don't know which stocks are really down

because they're crappy companies

or if their down because of tax law selling.

You don't really know, this is an inexact science,

but it's a trend.

So, how do you trade this?

How do you profit off of it?

Number one, start looking for stocks

that are selling off towards year end.

Low price stocks, one, two, three, four dollars

that maybe started the year out much higher

and they're probably just getting worse

even if there's no news.

Their stock price is dropping nearly every day.

You can attribute that to tax law selling.

Then, keep in mind your watch list

towards year end and into January.

And if they start spiking on bigger than expected volume,

then you can possibly try to buy it and ride the wave up

because once people start sharing,

oh, this is a January effect play.

Oh, this is a January effect play.

It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So some of these stocks that are bouncing

five, 10, 20 percent because of increased buying

at the beginning of the year,

once message boards and chat rooms

start saying this is a January effect play,

it can go up 100% in a day with no news.

Outsiders, people who are not prepared are like,

penny stocks make no sense.

This stock is up 100% and there's no news.

Because it's a January effect play

and you were freaking unprepared

like most penny stock traders and investors.

Don't make that mistake, be prepared ahead of time.

Leave a comment underneath this video.

Let me know if you think this is useful.

You'll see me buying a lot of prospective

January effect plays and I'll try to ride some of it.

But remember, this is a very inexact science,

so don't just hold on to a stock that's up 100 or 200%.

Learn to take profits along the way.

Enjoy the ride up.

Work out like a Victoria's Secret Model: Robin Holzken's Ab Workout - Duration: 20:57.

Hi Vanderfits and welcome to the first day of this

30 day workout challenge. My name is Sanne Vander and today we will be doing

Robin Holzken's ab workout so ready let's go. Let's get started with 20 Russian twists

So we're going to hold our hands into like this circle shape and we're

going to move not in a full Russian twist but just on one side like this

with your feet off the ground. Really good job! And for anybody that is

wondering what we're doing and if you haven't heard it already we're doing a

thirty-day Victoria's Secret Workout challenge on my channel so during the

month of November there will be a workout every single day so we're training

like an angel just like the Victoria's Secret Angels are for the upcoming show.

So now let's turn around and do 20 more Russian twists but then on

the other side. Really good job! And by the way this is the notification shoutout

of today. Congratulations Maddie! I'm doing a notification squad shoutout in

every single one of my workout videos and if you want to win one too

then all you need to do is hit that little bell next to the subscribe button so

you are notified whenever I upload and then you might see yourself in a next

Victoria's Secret workout where I will shout you out. So now we have ten seconds

of rest, just like Robin did in her workout video, the ab workout that we're

doing right now. Really good job! Now the ten seconds are over and we're doing

40 Russian twists but then on both sides and next up will be the 10

seconds of rest, so don't worry just continue. Keep on smiling! You can do it!

I'm super proud of you, just imagine yourself to be a Victoria's Secret Angel

training for the upcoming show and I don't know that always helps me and puts

me in a brighter mood whenever I'm not feeling like working out but also the

feeling afterwards that's so rewarding don't you think? Okay!

Now 10 seconds of a rest, that is really nice about this workout routine from

Robin and although she didn't make it to the Victoria's Secret Show this routine

was what she used to prepare for the castings. So 40 times of a plank twist.

Really good so you're just going to go in your plank position and you twist

your butt around to both sides on the tippy toe of your feet. Really good job!

Amazing! That is it! Really good! So during this workout challenge I will be using

the workout of the angels but also other Victoria's Secret models, of models that

don't walk the show, of models that prepared for the show. Just a

variety of workouts and also some created by myself inspired by the workout

of the Angels in general. I hope that you guys like that. So now we're doing 40

times a mountain-climber and we're doing a cross which means that you put your

knees towards the middle and so they're kind of like pointing at each other

instead of putting your knees straight. Keep on going! You can do it! Really good

job and now it's time for a little Child's Pose and then 10 seconds of

rest to shake everything out! Really really good! Are you guys ready? Let's

go for the side plank hops, so you're going into a side plank and you're

hopping with your hips up and down really good job! That is it! You can do it!

Really good! Come on just a little bit longer and now we're going to switch

sides and do it on the other side and next up is 10

seconds of rest, please let me know if you like that I put next up in the

little annotation so you guys know which exercise is coming up. I got a tip from

one of my Vanderfits, one of you guys that told me to do so. So please let me

know if you appreciate that and now we're having some rest again for 3-

2-1 and let's go into this exercise this is a crunch a twist and this is

hard promise okay, so we're going to lay down

and then crunch on one side then crunch on the other. This is so hard on the abs

and I totally feel you if you feel like this is a little much but continue

because you are strong you are perfect you can do this and it's really hard to

keep those legs on the ground but keep them as straight as possible it's also

hard for me but we're just going to work it we're doing this together let's go

even though it's hard you can do it! You are powerful! You are strong! You are an

angel! You can do this! So let's go! yes yes really good just a little more

yes that is it really good yes and please let me know in a comments down

below once you've finished doing this workout

if you're going to do the full 30 day challenge with me. If so that you better

be a part of our Vanderfit community on Facebook because there I will keep you

up-to-date as well as that I will give you little sneak previews of the workout

routines on my @vander_fit Instagram account so just a little bit

more I'm doing it with my arms straight because that just helps me a little bit

Now it is time finally for 30 seconds of rest. We're almost seven minutes into

this workout routine. You're doing such a great job, so use this time to just relax

and just grab some water. I was pointing like to show you guys that I really feel

the burn in my abs by the way 4 - 3 - 2 -1 are you ready?

let's go because we're going to do straight mountain climbers and I don't

know if mine are that straight but you are supposed to keep your legs a

little bit more straight instead of going to the sides but yeah it's always

funny when you look back at yourself exercising I totally urge you to film

yourself once and they can see some of your mistakes that you're making and

some of the things that you need to improve on. It's actually very beneficial

So now we're going to do in and outs, so 20 times we're going to push ourselves

with our arms and our legs, so your legs are close together and you're just

pushing your feet, right there yes yes yes yes, that's it really good

use those arms yes yes go nice and low, yes that is it, really good and now we're

going to switch and do the exact same thing on the other side. Next up is 30

seconds of rest so you can do this. Don't worry, just continue with a smile, that

always helps so if your abs are burning that's a good thing

keep it up keep it up you can do it okay really good yes yes yes just a little

longer and that is it. So now we have 30 seconds of rest

which is perfect to stretch a little bit we're going to reach the toes I'm

totally done already and I can definitely feel it especially

after my holidays and all the free time that I had where I was not really

working out, so maybe that's the same for you maybe you've also taken a break from

working out that's really good because then together we can get back on track

during this month, so now we're going to do the exact same thing all over again

We're going to do 20 Russian twists on one side just like we did in the

beginning, so Robin actually showed just one half of her workout in her video

but then she told us in the description that you can repeat it for a longer

workout routine so that is of course what we're going to do we're going to do

two sets today so we're switching around again for the

Russian twist on the other side, really good job, next up our 10 seconds of rest

so give it your all you can do it really good we're already 10 minutes into this

workout routine so don't worry you just have a little bit longer to go and at

the end I have a nice surprise for you so stick to the end okay 10 seconds of

rest 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 and we get started with the Russian

twist on both sides again next up is 10 seconds of rest so you can already look

forward to that. Really good job! By the way for anybody that is wondering where

my workout clothes are from my shoes are from Nike my legging is from Gym Shark

and my top is from Lily Bod okay so 10 seconds of rest really good just relax

take a little bit of water and then we're going into our plank twist 40

times on our tippy toes we're going into this

plank position and we're moving our butt from side to side from side to side you

can do it that is it! yes yes yes yes yes yes

Really good, you can adjust while doing this if you don't feel like your

position is comfortable and that was it! So now we have 10 seconds of rest I roll

the shoulders a little bit and then it is time again for our mountain climber

and this time it's the cross. Next up 10 seconds of rest so you can already look

forward to that! Really really good keep it up! You can do it! Continue don't stop

well now you can stop... That's so funny or maybe it's just me I don't know

I'm weird haha ok then we're going into the plank hops so we're going to move our

hips up in the air. Really good, That's it! Exactly! And then we're going to switch

around and do the exact same thing on the other side you just have a few

exercises to go. You can do this! Keep it up!

yes yes yes and 10 seconds of rest next up are those crunches again so go lay

down and move yourself up and to the side so to the side to the side and lay down

to the side to side and lay down slow and controlled movements try to keep

those legs on the ground this for me is the hardest part of the whole exercise

routine and if it's the same for you just keep breathing keep smiling you can

do it so side to side and lay down and up side

to side and lay down and up side to side and lay down side to side and lay down

Side to side and lay down. Really good!

You can also do it with your arms extend that if that helps, just however you like

it. Don't strain your neck too much as you can see I'm not really touching my

neck I'm just lightly holding my hat and sometimes I do it with my hands just

forward because it's easier with the arms extended in my opinion. Really good!

that's it! yes

Come on! Really good! Almost there! Yes you did it!

Okay now 30 seconds of rest, just going to lay down for a little bit but not too

long because otherwise you will be too calm and that's not what we want

I'm going to touch my toes for a little bit

Please remember to also drink some water if you feel like you need to and then

we're going into the 40 seconds - no not 40 seconds - like 40 times of the

mountain-climber. Really good yes!

and we're going to do 10 seconds of rest

and next up are the last 2 real exercises of this whole workout, of the

one that Robin created, so there are 20 in and outs on this side make sure that

you move your arms move your legs push it you can do it continue yes that's it

really good job amazing and then we're going to do the exact same thing on the

other side so we're going to do 20 as well the in and outs

come on let's go let's do this you're almost there and that was everything

that Robin did in her workout routine but we're going to stretch a little bit

because I feel like that's super important after you've worked out so of

course we're going to do that just for a little bit just touching your toe now on

this side as well just some nice stretches

and you can do of course whatever stretch you like but one of my absolute

favorites is this one that I learned in yoga where you're sitting down and then

you're slowly going to lay down so you're really really really stretching

your legs with this and you can even put like a cushion in between your back and

the floor if that's more comfortable but I can actually hold it like this without

any pain and I just do this for a little bit and then climb up again. Then I'm

going to lay down with my legs all the way up and then in a butterfly position

Really good! It's also nice to just have some relaxation after you've worked out

so that those muscles relax and then just something extra you don't have to do

this if you don't know how. We're going to do an extra challenge of doing a

headstand so I actually made a video on how to do a headstand and if you are

going to try it as well that I recommend you always practicing near a wall and

especially if you're doing this for the first time please watch that video that

I made very carefully so you know what to do. I just hold this for a

few seconds and then I release and I do this 3 times and I also chose three

different points of view for the camera so you can actually see what I'm doing

here. You can even help yourself by like touching the wall and then moving

your feet together so you're now balancing without the wall and then slowly you

let yourself fall and I always move up with my arms like this and then you can

see it in full again so you walk all the way up

and then you gently bring your legs above and you're trying to keep your

balance really really good you just hold it for however long you

want to and for however long you're able to do it and I think this is such a nice

finish of the workout and it just makes me really happy to do headstands so

if you want them then you can do that too and if not that you also did a great

job thank you so much for doing this workout with me. I'm proud of you!

China's Grand Canyon (E-Skating Wild West China Ep.6) - Duration: 10:01.

That's too much.

Yeah that's too deep.

Wow god it's so wet.

We have to meet our driver at 4 o'clock.

Two thousand years ago a single critical passage

surrounded by hostile deserts and impenetrable mountains connected China

with civilizations to the west. Now two adventurers with their electric

skateboard will retrace this historic route as they e-skate Wild West China.

We made it back to the hotel just in time to change to another battery

change to a fresh fully charged battery and then got on the car, went to Pingshanhu.

It's known as China's Grand Canyon. Okay remember how I said like we're no

longer doing the 1000-kilometer thing? This is partly why. If we had stuck to

the original plan going to this place would have been a huge detour and we

wouldn't have been able to go to this place.

We're at the entrance to this place

and from the entrance we have to take a shuttle to another part to be

able to get to the scenic area.

We climbed up to this peak and we weren't

supposed to. We have to climb over this railing.

This is the...

This is the scariest thing.

I feel like I'm getting vertigo.

Oh I can't look that way.

Look at the camera.

Really?

Oh my god I feel I can't...

Can't close my eyes, it's f*cking scary

but I can't look that way either.

There's a drone above me

but I can't look up because

I'm afraid I'll lose balance.

Try to look at the camera.

Okay okay I think that's enough drone footage.

Let's get outta here.

Can I do more?

I was terrified up there. I thought it was, I don't know. I'm not too good with

heights. I'm okay with rollercoasters but but, I don't know, just like you know some

people climb skyscrapers to take photos. I don't do that sh*t.

How's the battery?

Did you fix the battery?

It's charging.

You fixed it?

No I didn't.

Then why're you charging it?

I try to charge it.

Okay. Max is about to start a fire in this hotel.

Hopefully I finished this video before that happens. But anyway.

The management of this place wasn't too happy about us climbing that

mountain. Sorry about that.

Sun's going down so we gotta get outta here.

We went kind of late

so we didn't have time to walk down the path and into the canyon areas which was

really a shame. We couldn't have ridden in the canyons anyway because there were

so many stairs. We probably could have brought the boards down but

coming back up the stairs carrying these two boards that that would have been a

really big challenge but I don't know. I kind of feel like if we had spent the

whole day there we probably could have done it but well

we had a lot of things to do.

Yeah. Start.

Dude.

Where the hell is Max?

He was flying the drone, following me with the drone.

I waited so long that the board powered off.

I hope that's him over there.

Daniel.

Hey.

It's getting too dark for this.

Yeah. YouTube glasses.

Okay now it's really starting to get dark. I mean in the video it's gonna look

bright because of auto exposure but it's getting kind of dark.

I mean look over there. The sun's already behind the hills.

It's not just getting dark. It's getting cold.

We were basically racing against the sun.

The sun was setting and by the time we got to the entrance the sun had already

set and it was already getting dark.

We're there.

There's the entrance.

Hopefully our driver's still there.

We've been riding so long my thumb is getting tired.

My thumb is actually getting tired.

So the park closes at 7:30. We got to the

entrance at about 7:35 and the staff was waiting for us cuz I guess we

were the only people who used electric skateboards and they were

worried that we would be

stuck in the park.

The driver's not here?

My knees!

My knees!

For that stretch of the road

we rode nonstop for like 15 kilometers

because we were kind of in a rush

to get out. We didn't want to be stuck in there.

There were no lights in there.

So if the sun goes down

it would be totally dark and also

it was the desert.

In the desert it's really hot during the day

and at night it becomes really really cold

so we really had to get out.

My knees are still tired from that.

You should take a break

no matter what board you're riding

take a break every few kilometers.

10 is already kind of pushing it.

15, really pushing it.

I kinda wanna go back but

we got a lotta stuff to do. Tomorrow we're going to another place.

Anyway. Good day.

Very event filled. We came back and then Max remembered that he had a

battery to take care of and he opened up the battery and found that it was

short circuited. It had this burning smell, still had water inside but

we'll see if he's able to... Let's take a look.

Fire in the hole!

How is it?

It's not charging.

It's not charging.

If I connect the

charging cable directly to the output

the charge port

I think it should

still working...

But let me ask Randy first.

Oh so we are telling Randy?

We were thinking of not telling Randy about this and

just letting him know about this when he sees this video.

It's his fault. I had nothing to do with it.

The Great Wall of China.

Little apple.

Frank Lampard: Chelsea fans absolutely LOVE what Derby boss did after Carabao Cup clash - Duration: 3:21.

Lampard returned to Stamford Bridge last night for the first time since moving into management after retiring from his playing career

The former Blues midfielder came up against his former club as Derby County visited Stamford Bridge in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup

However, Lampard's Derby side suffered a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea ending their hopes of making it into the last eight

But Lampard was given a rapturous reception before and after the game as the Stamford Bridge faithful honoured the club legend

After the final whistle, Lampard took the time to thank the supporters by doing a lap of honour at clapping to all corners of the ground

And Chelsea supporters absolutely loved Lampard's gesture. "That was the best moment of the game," one fan wrote

Another said: "The reception he truly deserves!" "Frank Lampard Absolute Class as a player

Looks like he'll be absolute class as a manager. Enough said," a third fan wrote

A fourth supporter said: "Thank you SUPER FRANK, the entire @ChelseaFC is proud of you

" Following the game, Lampard expressed his disappointment at failing to find a way past Chelsea, but thanked fans for their support on the night

"I'm disappointed. I think we deserved a draw on chances created," Lampard said. "The difference between the sides was they scored three

actually we scored four didn't we? "I joke because I'm proud. Talking to their staff they're saying we're playing well

"I respect this club, I don't have to talk about this club. I'm proud of my players

"My players had to really selfless stuff. Who goes through clear against Chelsea like we did on goal? We created chances

"There will be recovery for two days and we'll think about Birmingham. "We've shown what we can do against Manchester United and today, and the standard is set

"If we play like that we will win games. I'm so thankful to the Chelsea fans. "I left through the back door and it upset me at the time but I have nothing but great memories of this place and they thank me like that

"I'm a lucky man to have a night like that and I feel it."

*NEW* HUDA BEAUTY THE NEW NUDE EYESHADOW PALETTE!!! | REVIEW & SWATCHES - Duration: 17:51.

hi friends welcome back to my channel in today's video I am going to be reviewing

the new Huda Beauty the new nude eyeshadow palette and am I not excited

for this one because it is the one and only miss HUDA beauty is launching some

new new for us literally the new nude but before we get started in this huda

beauty the new nude eyeshadow palette review please don't forget to subscribe

down below for new videos every single week and let's get to it alright guys so

I haven't even opened my palette yet because I want to show you what my first

impressions or say my reaction is going to be to the palette and initially it

looks like this it's kind of in a transparent box so when you open it

let's go ahead and open this baby up oh gosh it looks just like this

it has miss Puckett on in the front of the palette looking gorgeous as always

and we have the new nude in this very beautiful holographic type of background

to it so that being said I love the packaging it is very original very huda

beauty and now we are getting to the most exciting part of this video and

that's going to be the big reveal of the new huda beauty the new nude palette

drumroll oh wow oh my god oh my god oh my god what is that what is this I have

to touch it I have to touch it right now what is

this I have never oh my god I have never seen anything like this look at this

it's like a dual chrome type of thing but it's like holographic at the same

time that is insane and let's watch it

would you look at that that is oh my god I wish you could see it through the

camera but um this is a very champagne and while I move it I can see a little

bit of like an emerald green to it and it looks like the palette has one two

three four of these shades with that same like really interesting composition

to it and it looks like we also have two glitters in the palette we have a ton of

absolutely gorgeous mattes in here and would you look at that I think they gave

us a primer oh it's like a iridescent primer or maybe not hold on no it's just

going to be like kind of like soft ochre it looks like my Mac soft ochre Paint

Pot like at least color wise but it feels so much thinner than the Mac soft

ochre Paint Pot so because that is in the palette I am going to be using what

is the name call it is called concealed I will be using the shade concealed here

as my base for the rest of the eyeshadows I'm just having a heart

attack whoa this is like I can't I'm lost for

words these eyeshadows here one two three four you know what they remind me

of they look just like the Newmark jacob eyeliner is the one the ones that have

the glitter in them this is exactly just like that and I feel like it's the same

technology that is emerging in the industry I feel like Marc Jacobs has it

in their products and now huda beauty has that in her products I so want to

swatch the rest of these really interesting eyeshadows I am going to

swatch Grey daydream fantasy and charmed so these are all very like chromatic

looking eyes shadows so they are definitely shape-shifting dual chrome

eyes shadows they are very pigmented they felt extremely creamy and I love

that these are just so unique they are unlike anything I have seen before so

let's go ahead and swatch them out here we have

them we have two three four isn't this something and before I start

my eye look I want to swatch some of these matte eyeshadows how about we

swatch spanked love bite and raw so I feel like they felt pretty creamy I feel

like what was it love bite didn't swatch us nicely as the other two shades but

let's go ahead and swatch them with no primer maybe I can do a like on my arm

here one two three whoa okay miss hooter like you're

showing us what a real eye shadow is supposed to swatch like but anyways I

feel like this guy right here was going to be maybe a little bit patchy but I

mean maybe it's not as pigmented as the other two matte eyeshadows but I still

feel like it's watched really really nicely I feel like what this palette you

can use some warm tones and you can use cool tones so because of that I feel

like it's a very versatile palette again you can go cool toned with it or you can

go warm tone with it and then you can just have fun with the shimmers and

throw in some glitter so it's like a very complete palette awesome so first

things first I am going to find my eyelid using concealed

I really wonder why they decided to have an eyeshadow base in the palette I do

find it pretty surprising that they might have wasted a color in giving us

an eyeshadow base but honestly that eyeshadow base is looking pretty good

right compared to my other eye it's giving me that blank canvas effect yeah

I think it so Mac 217 brush I'm going to apply my brow bone highlight using the

bear first color I feel like it's going on really nicely I feel like as I am

patting this shape down I do feel like it's actually staying

so next up I'm going to use a fluffier brush and I'm going to dip into lace

which is this very beautiful lavender color right here this is awesome it's

like really showing up I like it when my eye shadow immediately shows up and I

don't have to work in light layers I don't think this is going to be a

palette that I'm like Oh guys you have to work in light layers to build a pick

man like no the pygmies they're good back there and I do have to say that I

did get just a tiny little bit of fallout I mean nothing to really worry

about but would you look at that even pigmentation extremely easy to blend

like really easy to blend and purple is a really hard color to get to be even in

pigmentation so I want the next color to be tickle it's this baby soft pink so

the next exciting color that I'm going to be using will be spanked this really

beautiful bright fuchsia pink and pick up a good amount on my brush here and

then last color for the crease is going to be this one right here love bite so

this is what is going to really deepen up the crease shade and I also want to

note that this comes with a fairly small amount of fallout nothing crazy it's not

giving me Urban Decay cherry eyeshadow pallete fallout because that one was

like for real for real so yay for minimal fallout

as I'm trying to place this and then blend it out I do have to say that it's

just a little bit harder to blend out than the previous matte eyeshadows we

just placed by honestly this purple is actually really mom it is like very easy

to work with and it's giving me immediate pick made right away which is

amazing for a purple shade I do have to say that purple shades are not always

this easy to work with would you look at that what do you guys think I feel like

the pigmentation is there it is even I also feel like it was very very easy to

blend so so far I really adore every single one of the mattes that I have

tried so far but let's keep going so now that I've cut my crease I'm going to

start the application of my shimmers and the first one that I'm going to dip into

it's going to be this one right here is called daydream and I'm going to be

using and I'm Nastasia synthetic brush and I'm just going to go hit it a little

bit of trouble try to pick it up pick up picked up you know what I mean it's kind

of like

this is Bob look at that it's so effortless and it's like popping this

eyeshadow is seriously popping it's amazing and I'm going to bring it pretty

high up I'm not going to worry too much about having like sharp edges because

I'm pretty much just going to apply some glitter on the edge so again I'm not

trying to be precise in any way it's going to bring it as high as I can I

love the color it is extremely vibrant and bold and it's so reflective I adore

how reflective it is like I love it I love it next up I'm going to go into

fantasy right here and that is going to go on kind of the middle of my eyelid

and then for the outer edge I'm going to use what is it the darkest of the

Sheen's its charms it's a little bit more of a

brown when you swatch it out but anyways let's go back to fantasy and pick some

of that up this one was a lot easier to pick up than the previous shade for some

reason but anyways let's go ahead and go for it start the application right in

the center and keep this shade fantasy as centered as possible honestly it's a

little bit more pink than I was anticipating it for it to be but hey

really love this color so much awesome so like we said we are going to finish

it off with charms

and I do want to say that this one has just a little bit more fallout than the

other two shades I don't know if it has to do with the fact that it's a little

bit of a darker shimmer awesome so the next we're going to try to do something

interesting I'm going to grab a painting brush that I found at the dollar store

and then I am going to create a tail with that what color do I want to use I

want to use a pink color so I'm going to go into spank I can already tell that

I'm going to need a darker color than this one yeah I'm going to need to go

into love-bite which is this darker purple shade we're definitely going to

clean this guy up here I'm just taking a little bit of my

foundation by hourglass that I used

all right so this is what we have so far and I feel very very happy with how that

eye shadow is looking and I do want to incorporate a little bit of glitter into

this look ooh that picked up I barely just did like one or two

circles around the pan here and it picked up quite a bit of this glitter so

far out I feel like the application of this glitter is going to be really

really easy which is what we want and for my up case if I'm going to be using

my next glitter glue what do you guys think so far would you look at this all

I have to say is wow wow that's just like I am so taken aback by how pretty

this glitter is by how beautiful this Sheen color is on my eyelid right now I

feel so glittery and reflective and girly and I just I feel like this is a

show-stopping look and it wouldn't have been possible without such an amazing

amazing amazing I shadow palette I'm going to grab a pretty full blending

brush and I'm going to dip it into lace down here that pretty lavender color

next up I'm going to take some of tickle and that's going to go fairly low on my

bottom lash line as well and next I'm going to take a smudging brush and dip

it into spanked and lastly to even out the eye look I'm going to take luck bite

and also place that on my bottom lash line I really love how these colors

these matte shades are able to layer one on top of the other so extremely

effortlessly I feel like it's truly a miracle that it's just so effortless and

that I'm not having to layer on top of layer on top of the layer on top of

layer you know it's just super easy and I'm also having a really easy time

blending all of the matte eyeshadows together and for my inner corner I'm

going to be using Excite here alright guys we'll check it out

this is the final result from using the new Kota Beauty the new nude eyeshadow

palette and am I not pleased I am so incredibly happy with how the look

turned out with how the eyeshadows blended I mean look at that plans and

that pigmentation and that intensity the vibrancy everything about it I

completely adore my conclusion on the new huda beauty then you nude eyeshadow

palette is that it is a must-have it is a must-have it is non-negotiable

you need this eyeshadow palette in your eyeshadow palette collection and the

reason I think that you need this palette is because it is complete

unique it is like I've said many times in this video extremely unique very

innovative especially when it came down to the innovative eyeshadow colors that

are in this palette also a really important thing to point out is how

phenomenal every single one of these formulas are the mattes are creamy the

shimmers are creamy even the glitter pants in this eyeshadow palette are very

easy to pick up very pigmented it was extremely easy to get the color on there

to get an even pigmentation there was no patchiness the vibrancy was very even as

well all throughout the blend it was so very easy to blend these shadows

together especially the matte eyeshadows all of the colors all of the formulas

performed extraordinarily even more than what I have been anticipating I knew

this was gonna be a amazing palette but it actually surpassed my wildest dreams

and expectations I am going to rate the new huda beauty the new nude eyeshadow

palette a 9 out of 10 but again I am extremely extremely happy with this

eyeshadow palette I think it's 100% 120 percent worth your money and worth it to

going to the store this holiday season into the craziness to get this and that

does it for this video thank you so much for watching if you liked this video and

found some value from it please don't forget to drop me a like and also don't

forget to subscribe for new videos every single week like always on - thank you

How To Photograph a Water Drop - Duration: 4:39.

hello this quick dive is about how I photograph water drops before I get

started I just want to thank Elise she asked this question in the macro

chat live show number six so let's get to it so here's my setup I have a flash

here and I don't have the bottom part of it that can just sit it's it's such an

old flash that I just made my own little rig put it in a box and some rice to

hold it and because I'm a canon to fire this off the camera I have this

mechanism here and it will pop I'll just share with you or real quick I wont do a

water drop but I'll just share with you how it pops now I'm just using water at

the moment I have this backdrop and it's just a three reminder one thing I do

want you to know is that when you're using flash the light will bounce off

very quickly so this backdrop is right as you can tell next to the water drops

if you were to have it that far then it would just be totally dark you really do

need to get the water as if it was one of those infinity pools that you leveled

the water all the way to the top and then have your camera shooting straight

into it now Elise had shot it up here and was hand-holding and that's really

difficult to do to tell you the truth is just to get it handhold on top of a

macro which is really close now she's very good at that but it's just so much

easier to set your camera say on a tripod or some boxes to level it up or

like I have here say a rice bag or something something that can stabilize

your camera because I'm hand-holding this the other shot that you'll see I

actually had it on this bar right here but I just think for me it's easier to

just handhold and let it drip in the middle of the

water and take my shots with that the most important thing for you to do

though is to make sure that you're in focus and some people use pencils and

pens and all that kind of stuff and I just take things around the house and

use whatever I can so I had these radishes cut up they float but what

happens is if I could put it in the middle of the water you can see here and

it kind of stabilizes me just to be straight and then I go to the camera and

focus to make sure that it's in the middle so when I'm dropping the water

drops I make sure that the water drops are in the middle and everything is

focused so it was just an easy way for me to focus and I'm just using one flash

right now because my light is the light source here is the window I do have this

just in case my light is really low because you need good light and you need

a flash to stop the motion so you can see down here it's gonna aim in the

middle and I'm gonna go up as high as I want I'm going to let a couple drops go

just to make sure I'm in the middle and after a while you'll just get it those

water drops that you see that look like a mushroom that are really pretty those

are the ones that have a water drop and then a quick water drop that will hit

the first one and you have to be really good at hand-holding or get this

mechanism to get that really cool look from those water drops but this is a

great way to start off your basic setup if you don't have enough light then

again you're going to have to add more light for your exposure but you do need

some type of flash something to stop the motion of the water drop otherwise it

just looks like a mush okay I hope you have some fun with the water drops if

you like this quick dive how about a thumbs up and share it with your friends

20 Facts about Artifact: Will Artifact Kill Hearthstone? Price, Beta Key, Trade, Opinion, Guide. - Duration: 11:47.

Hello my friends.

My name is Bot Mathematician, and this is Holomancer.

You can hear various rumors and opinions about Artifact in all the taverns of Azeroth.

Residents discuss, argue, admire, hate, and some even predict the death of Hearthstone.

We studied a huge amount of information and selected the most interesting

and important things for you to know.

We hope this helps you draw your own conclusions and decide whether or not to play this game.

We will be grateful if you like this video.

In the past, Valve stole Dota out from under Blizzard.

As a result, Dota 2 became a super hit and made an explosion in the gaming industry.

Perhaps this time Valve will make another hit that will kill Hearthstone.

During the Artifact presentation, Gabe Newell - CEO of Valve, said

"Valve wants Artifact to do for card games what Half-Life 2 did for singleplayer action

games."

Artifact has two players face off against each other using a pre-constructed main and

item deck.

The board consists of 3 lanes, each having a tower,

mana pool and board area for each player.

The goal of Artifact is to destroy the two enemy towers,

or the enemy tower and the enemy ancient.

Artifact has been created in collaboration with Richard Garfield,

a famous game designer, who created the legendary trading card game Magic: The Gathering.

It's also worth noting that Artifact will not be a subordinate little sibling to Dota 2.

Many of the heroes in the current card set are existing Dota 2 champions,

but others are original creations.

Artifact release date is November 28.

Gamers can try out Artifact even before it is released!

The beta will be available to play on November 19.

The game will be available on Steam for Mac, Linux, and Windows computers.

Gamers can expect the versions for mobile devices to be available in 2019.

How to get a beta key?

A handful of options are available for those of you who want an early look at the game.

If you attended PAX West or Dota 2's The International 2018,

you'll have received a pair of scratchcards, each of which contains a beta key.

Searches on Reddit reveal a number of players giving away their spare keys,

you can try to buy a key online with obvious risk!

The official Artifact Twitter account has indicated

that following the account may result in you being granted access to the beta.

The exact details are not entirely clear, but it's certainly the easiest option you have right now.

The price of Artifact will be $19.99.

After buying the game, players will get: two pre-made "base" decks

with 54 cards in each and 10 additional sets.

So, your purchase will get you a total of 228 cards,

though, naturally, they won't all be unique.

Further booster packs will be available for $2 each.

That's how Gabe Newell explains why Artifact is not going to be free-to-play:

"If time is free, or an account is free, or cards are free,

then anything that has a mathematical relationship to those things ends up becoming devalued

over time, whether it's the player's time and you just

make people grind for thousands of hours for minor,

trivial improvements, or the asset values of the cards, or whatever.

That's a consequence.

So you don't want to create that flood of free stuff

that destroys the economy and the value of people's time."

There will be 286 cards in the game, including 44 heroes.

There are three rarity levels in the game: common, uncommon and rare.

Every packs include 12 random cards, one of which is guaranteed to be "rare."

Rare is the highest rarity level and every pack is guaranteed to contain at least one rare.

It's possible to open a pack with additional rares.

There are plenty of very common cards that are going to be super powerful.

The main pack set contains 272 cards.

This set contains 112 common cards, 80 uncommon cards and 80 rare cards.

Along with cards from packs, Artifact contains 14 basic cards

that are included in the core game for free.

User Ritter on the Reddit published some math, counting how many packages you need to buy

in order to build a complete collection.

You need to open 150 packs, which is $300.

And what do you think about Artifact's price?

How much are you willing to spend for online gaming?

We created a Youtube poll.

Find the button on the screen, please vote and share your opinions in the comments.

In Artifact you can sell any of your cards except Basic cards.

Each player's collection will retain value in the same way that binders of Magic cards do in real life.

In contrast, if you stopped playing Hearthstone tomorrow, you couldn't sell your cards.

Valve knows how to do trading.

It already has the tech to make it safe and secure.

The Artifact cards will be tradable on the Steam Market,

so players will be able to buy and sell them like Dota 2 items.

Your Deck consists of Heroes, Spells, Creatures and Improvements.

The Hero Deck must consist of a minimum of 40 cards,

but there is no maximum card limit.

Decks are limited to three instances of each unique card.

Decks must have only five different Hero cards in them.

Every hero has an associated Signature Card.

As soon as a hero is added to a deck, three copies of that hero's signature card

will also be automatically created and added to the deck.

Signature Cards cannot be collected, traded on the marketplace,

found in card packs or removed from your deck.

Your cards and heroes are selected from four possible colours: Red, Green, Black, and Blue.

As per Magic, each colour has its own personality which themes what its cards do accordingly.

Decks are not limited to a specific number of colors.

There are a wide variety of Heroes featured in Artifact.

These Heroes each boast their own ability, and have their own specific play styles.

Only heroes can use equipment, and each hero has three slots: weapon, armor, and accessory.

Accessory - Raises your hero health.

Armor - Grants additional armor to your hero and also buffs or debuffs.

Weapon - Gives your hero additional damage.

If you want to use a different weapon it will overwrite the current one.

Equipment varies from cheap simple buffs to powerful, expensive stuff.

Importantly, equipment on characters is persistent.

So buffed heroes will keep coming back with their upgraded stats and abilities.

Spell cards provide instant, powerful effects, sometimes even spanning all three lanes.

They require Mana to cast and you require a hero of that spell's color in the current lane.

Improvements are a category of Spells with a unique effect to the board.

Lanes can have multiple improvements at a time,

and all active Improvements are shown on the side of the owner's Tower.

Artifact has two primary resources available to the player throughout the course of the game.

Mana, which replenishes each turn and is required to cast cards,

and Gold, which is used to purchase items from your Item Deck at the end of each round.

Each lane has its own Mana pool, which begins at 3 and increases by 1 each turn.

As enemy cards are destroyed you will accrue gold.

Gold is spent on equipment between rounds during the Shopping Phase.

Your Item Deck consists of 9 Items, which are randomly offered for purchase.

Each player starts with 5 cards in their hand at the start of the game,

drawing two more each turn. There's no limit on the amount of cards your hand can hold,

so it rarely feels like you're stuck with nothing to do.

At the beginning of the game, your first three heroes will be deployed evenly into the three

lanes, along with some randomly spawned melee creeps.

After each round, two more creeps will spawn in random lanes

on each players' side.

Each lane contains a tower which has 40 health that you must protect.

Lose two towers and the game is over.

Once a tower is destroyed, it's replaced by the Ancient, which has 80 health.

Destroy an Ancient and you also win the game.

Each time you play a card of any sort, the initiative passes to your opponent.

Once you've both finished taking turns playing a card in a particular lane, combat occurs.

During combat, heroes and creeps attack whatever is opposite to them.

If they aren't facing another unit, they will attack the opposing tower.

After combat, the action then switches to the next lane.

Heroes that are killed aren't gone for good, they just have to sit out an entire round,

after which you can choose which lane to redeploy them in.

Artifact has Constructed mode and Draft mode.

The game has no single-player specific game mode, but you can play against Artificial intelligence.

In Draft, you construct your deck by selecting cards out of a series of packs.

An interesting opinion was expressed by Disguised Toast.

He thinks the game is too complex for the Hearthstone stream audience to get into.

He expects a lot of Hearthstone streamers will switch over,

try the game out for about a month, and then switch back once Blizzcon announces

the next Hearthstone expansion.

Our special Daring Reporter gathered opinions from reputable residents of Azeroth.

Here are some opinions from other professional streamers.

Having considered all news, videos, and materials, I got a little confused.

As a Hearthstone fan, this all seems very complicated for me,

and there is no room for casual players here.

Also, a very important argument is the cost.

It is quite expensive, and for this reason, there is no place for free-2-play players.

I see no potential for Artifact to destroy Hearthstone or even divert half of its audience.

Nevertheless, this is an interesting game and it might be enjoyed by pro players

and fans of Dota 2 or Magic: The Gathering.

Maybe Artifact can become Hearthstone's competitor in the professional cyber arena.

And what do you think?

Are you excited about the release of Artifact?

Do you want to try this game?

Please let us know in the comments and vote!

Alright, that's all for today!

Thank you for being with us.

And special thanks to Chris for text editing!

We will meet in new videos.

Good luck!

Making Leaf Ghosts :O - Duration: 13:15.

hey guys. I have been trying Eco dyeing on paper

lately. I was really inspired by... I don't know, a picture or a video or something?

probably on Pinterest? it was this fun looking activity where you take a bunch

of leaves and you wrap it up in paper or fabric and boil it to get all the colors

from the leaves and stain the paper or fabric that you are boiling. and since we

have such a surplus of leaves out there right now, I really wanted to try it but

I'm also trying it in a half-hearted way. you're supposed to have a designated pot

to boil these things in, for obvious reasons.

you know you don't want to have wild leaves, especially ones you don't really

know what they are, maybe some of them are not good for you? you don't want to

be boiling them in your dinner pots and then make dinner in the pots. what I

decided to do was take this manila paper and sandwich it really tight and then

put it in a bucket under a flower pot and pour boiling water in there. I know

that the instructions say you're supposed to boil these things for

something like an hour or two hours or something like that

so I really didn't think that this was gonna work. in the first batch I decided

to pour boiling water in the bucket and then when that cooled down a little bit

I think I poured it out and I did it again. and you need some kind of metal to

act as what they call a mordant. it reacts with the tannins and colors in

the leaves to get it to seep into the paper. in the first batch I just took

every rusty little piece of metal that I could find: old screws,

old bolts, some washers... just stuff that my husband's been hoarding in the closet

for a long time. it was enough. it was like a handful and then just threw it in

there. let's see how that goes.

okay so I wasn't really impressed by the first batch and I thought well you know

what, I'm not really doing it correctly. but there were some things that I

thought that I could change. for example, the Mordant is typically something like

an aluminum product you can buy for canning, or you know iron... something or

other. but you can make it by soaking piece of metal in vinegar. so I'm

not entirely sure if I'm going to try it again a different way or

whatever. but I find most of the result happened around the edge and I

can't tell if that is because of the the metal in the water - because it's required

to have some kind of metal like iron or aluminum are some things that reacts

with the tannins and the leaves and I think maybe that's what's making this

black here? and you can see some things like this - I think it was a Japanese

maple leaf. got the most interesting reaction because you can definitely see

the shape of it but I don't know... because there's some red here from the leaf, and

this black is a reaction from the metal. maybe it was in the water too long?

so I think I might try this again. watercolor paper did really well

probably because it is the most absorbent it still isn't that great.

I think it's just because one: the most absorbent and - it was also at the

very bottom of the page so it got the most of the metal. not to mention this

incredibly rusty paper clip, that was cool. this leaf here is great

you can see an outline of leaf here but the thing is I can't tell if this is

actually eco dyeing or if it's just a stencil where the leaves were pressed up

against it and and things were happening around it. like I don't know if any color

is actually coming out of the leaves or if this is just dirty metal water, you

know what I mean? so but I can still kind of play around

with it a little bit I think. and this time I decided to put metal in a little

container of vinegar... I didn't realize you were supposed to dilute the

vinegar... so I left that for like 24 hours. it was supposed to take a week but I

only had 24 hours before I was ready to do this again. and the second time you

will see that the water is much darker and there's a lot more crud kind of

floating around. mm-hmm I also took some of the the vinegar that the metal was

soaking in and I used a paint brush to apply it to the pages because I thought

that maybe either the sandwich was too tight or like it wasn't sure if there

was too much water or not enough water getting in? and I think in the next batch

I didn't leave it in the water overnight. I actually took it out and let it sit

and it's in its own wet little envelope for pretty much 24 hours

I think. and it was so hard not to peek.

so I ended up doing this a bunch of times

adding more vinegar, adding less vinegar, soaking longer, soaking shorter time and

I think the most ridiculous result was the second one where I just used way too

much vinegar. just kept kind of bouncing back and forth. I think my

favorite leaves were maple leaves especially Japanese maple, was really

good. and the smoke bush was absolutely wonderful. I'm kind of surprised I

didn't get much of a reaction with oak leaves because I used to use those my

fish tank and it would make the water nice and soft and brown. I don't know why

that didn't happen this time. maybe it's it needs

longer or maybe it needed to be more fresh leaf, I don't know. but a lot of the

leaves like the really fragile leaves like clover and some random green weeds,

grass and stuff like that? I didn't really get any marks out of that at all

which is disappointing because those ones usually have the most interesting

patterns. but oh well. and so I took a whole new pages that I

made and I've decided to bind them into a little book . this would make a

really interesting journal I guess? art journal probably? probably not a great

sketch book but we'll see what happens in the future. I might

list this one in the shop, even though it really isn't meant to last forever.

it's not really designed to last forever. I imagine inside of a book the colors

would probably be pretty well protected from sunlight and I don't know if

there's anything other than sunlight that would cause them to fade ? I

don't know. it's a giant a guessing game. I have this cute book full of leaf

ghosts . it is so easy and there are so many leaves out there right now. and I

have this whole entire pad of Manila paper that I will probably make another

one. so I made this book from the pages that I stained. I have smaller ones

too like when I did this the Manila paper was already pretty light and

interesting but now it's like.. it's so squishy, it feels like a pile of old money.

I had some of these extreme pages in there just to throw them in because it

looks so cool. I like the way the leaf looks like it's splashed. it's also

different... there's lots of pages that are just mucky like

this but it would be a good place to actually do artistic things

I don't know what I would do with a book like this. it would make a

really cool written journal I guess because I wouldn't want to cover

up things myself. I really love the purple in this one and this paperclip.

most interesting thing I've noticed is that even though I've ironed it some of

these marks aren't really stains or anything, they're actually just

indentations left from the leaves that were in there which i think is just as

cool as this kind of stuff where it made this gorgeous pattern. this is such an

addictive project. I actually don't think I'm gonna stop. I'm going to work on

other things but at night I'm just going to keep using up the stack of paper that

I cut because I just can't stop. it's just so interesting and out of your own

control. look at this leaf

ghosts of leaves! sorry they're doing landscaping outside, you're gonna be able to

hear it probably. I really love the smoke bush ones, so cool.

the iron is really crusted on there. well it doesn't seem to come off

which is nice. these brush strokes are so interesting but I really didn't expect

that to happen. it's just stained with vinegar I guess

this very faint leaf ghost

I really love this leaf it looks like it's disintegrating

there's some tissue paper here

Al-Ḥamdu liLlāhi Rabbi l-'Ālamīn - Duration: 42:09.

The Lord of Universes

the most Beneficent and most Munificent.

He Almighty

giving His attributes

when He was saying

"Alhamdu Lillahi Rabbi l-Alamin".

Whole praisings and whole thanks

must be given to Allah Almighty.

As much as He is not in need

from His servants

to give Him praisings or thanks

so that He is going to be more glorious or praised

but He is 'Hamid' (He Who is Praised).

Whole praisings and whole thanks

qa'imun bi nafsishi (standing by Himself), bihi Ta`ala.

Whole of them standing

by Himself, in Himself.

We are only saying

whole praisings and whole thanks,

we are looking in Him and saying.

We are not going to give anything.

No.

Because He is Glorious.

And Glory is His

essential attribute.

Not given from other to Him, no.

He is owner [of]

Absolute Glory in Himself.

Therefore we have been ordered

to give our thanks, whole thanks

and whole glory, praisings,

to Him Almighty

and the really Absolute Owner

for whole Thanks and for whole Praisings

so that He is Hamid,

the Absolute Owner

for every Thanks

and for every Glory and for every Praise.

Whole.

But when we are thanking

to our Lord, Allah Almighty

and giving our praisings

we are going to be honoured, we are going to be praised

from our Lord.

Praising, because:

"al jazau min jinsi l-amal" (the reward [from Allah] is in accordance to action).

That is a measure in Islam.

(wa alaikum salam wa rahmatuillah)

"al jazau min jinsi l-amal",

when we are giving our praisings

and thanks to Allah Almighty,

then from Allah Almighty

coming as reward to us

thanks and praisings.

And Allah's thanks

is not such servant's thanks.

When you are doing a favour

I am looking, I am taking from you one favour,

I am saying 'thank you'.

This thanks

in the side our Lord's thanks, nothing.

When we are giving our thanks to our Lord, saying "Alhamdulillah",

[there is an] opening from His endless favours

and pouring on His servants.

Therefore He is Hamid.

From pre-eternity up to post-eternity.

But He ordered to His servants

to say for thanking to Him

and to give their praisings to Him Almighty

so that He is pouring on His servants

as much as we are thanking and praising

from His Mercy Oceans, from His Favour Oceans pour.

Astaaidhubillah: "wabtaghu ilaihi l wasila" (5:35).

Our Lord is saying, Allah Almighty, O My servants

you must ask every time, you must seek means

for His favours, for His mercies to you.

Therefore first order saying, say: "Alhamdulillahi Rabbi l-Alamin".

It is easy but opening Suratu l-Fatiha, opening

our Lord's endless Favour Oceans on ourselves.

Opening His endless Mercy Oceans on ourselves.

Therefore it is opening surah

and Allah Almighty

giving His divinely attributes

to His servants.

And He ordering to His Prophet for saying

that: man lam yashkuri n-nas lam yashkurillah

(who doesn't thank people doesn't thank Allah).

Ordering also for thanking people to each other.

Very good, good manners.

This is politeness.

The highest point of politeness.

To give everyone your thanks.

Because after thanks, respect comes.

After respect love comes

among each other. Yes.

And He says, "Who is not giving

his thanks to others

he is not going to be thankful to his Lord.

Therefore when we are saying 'thank you'

it means I am thanking to his Lord.

because He is Creator for that person.

And I am thanking to him it means

I am thanking to his Creator,

to his Lord, the Lord of the Worlds.

And He is giving some of His attributes

but through that attribute

endless attributes coming.

It is impossible

to know His attributes

except we are knowing from attributes' names

that belonging to that divine attribute.

He is signing after saying 'Alhamdulillah',

you must give your thanks and praisings to Allah.

People asking "Who is Allah?"

And He is saying "Your Allah He is the Lord of Universes".

Rabb.

Who is Rabb?

What is the meaning of Rabb?

Lord of Universes.

In the word of 'Rabb',

rabb is more comprehensive.

Endless comprehension

from the word of 'Lord'.

Rabb.

Coming in the word of 'Rabb' Creator also.

Coming in 'Rabb',

tarbiyah, educator.

Upbringing, given conditions.

Everything in universe

must have a conditioner.

You may enter in a factory,

car factory, every piece

must be educated or conditioned.

Must be conditioned by the hands of some

craftsman or master.

Master? Yes.

Fashioned.

Also fashioner, conditioner.

Everything in need in universe

from smallest piece,

atoms, in need a conditioner.

Now we are looking in universe

and

firstly, we are understanding

that must be One

who gives conditions

for whole universes.

But we are surprising,

we are surprised from beings,

endless kinds of creatures

in whole universe.

Therefore people going to be surprised.

But they're surprising to be One Conditioner.

Wonder, wondering.

But Allah Almighty saying

"I am the

Conditioner and Fashioner and Upbringer

and Shaper and Maker

and Creator.

Cherisher

for all".

Then in our time... (Ibrahim)

in our time science

looking after

temel taşı (foundation stone).

Structure, this whole universe

is a structure.

In this structure what is the main stone?

It is atoms, elementary stones,

building stones structure.

They finding atoms and the structure of atoms

they are same.

Therefore

verily they must accept,

they must understand that

whole universe

coming in appearance

the Maker using same stones,

therefore must be one conditioner.

But from His endless science

giving endless conditions

for universe.

Now it is just told that

that the Lord of Universe is one

because we can't see any atom

and its structure going to be different.

But they are coming, the first one

hydrogen, 1 - 1.

Then growing.

Then the Conditioner

giving His science on it and making 2 - 2,

3 - 3, or more, growing.

But the first building stones

is 1 and 1, signing his Lord's Unity.

Unity

that everything growing up from one

and increasing.

Therefore you can't find any number

which can be not in need with one.

Every number becoming

if existence by one.

Two is not going to be two without, unless one.

Thousands is not going to be thousands without one,

or it is nine hundred ninety-nine.

And it needs one to be one thousand

One thousand and one it is not in existence if no one.

What it is only thousand

it needs one to be one thousand and one.

Signing that the Lord is only One.

And from one increasing everything.

By His endless Power Oceans

and from His endless knowledges using endless science.

Man's mind

stopping when they are looking after atoms.

Yet it is an unknown thing.

It is and it is impossible to be known.

But they may say

finally that is

only a

(?) appearance

of power.

(?) ...they are saying

that atom going

to be changing

in (?), in power

and going through Power Oceans.

When the Lord, Allah Almighty saying

"Come", they are coming, appearing.

Appearing their, hanh, manifesting

from Power Oceans

so that whole universe going to be

by His order.

He is saying only "kun", "Be!"

By that order everything from Power Oceans

appearing as universes.

If He is going to say,

"Not to Be!"

they are going to be melted in Power Oceans.

Disappear. Finish.

Therefore eternal, endless Power Oceans

under the command

of Allah Almighty appearing,

and appearing as creatures.

Endless creation

from beginning pre-eternity,

eternity coming

to post-eternity.

And Rabb

conditioning, giving everything

its creation

then going to be their conditions,

their qualities, their attributes.

And everything taking its attributes

from one holy name of his Lord.

So that you, and you, and you, everyone,

we are saying now generally

and then particularly, sons of Adam,

everyone carrying and manifesting

from our Lord's Holy Name.

Manifesting.

You can understand.

That is giving to sons of Adam

most high respect.

Therefore sons of Adam

most highly respected among creatures

because everyone representing

one holy name of our Lord and manifesting

from our Lord's Holy Names.

Then till you knowing

your holy name

that you have been manifested by that holy name

you can't understand or you can't knowing

about your Lord.

That is the key

which makes us to know

about our Lord.

When Prophet says, peace be upon him,

"man arifa nafsah faqad arifa rabbah"

(Know yourself, you know your Lord).

That knowledge for ourselves,

if I am asking you "Who are you?" You are saying, "I am Sheikh Ibrahim".

Only this too much Sheikh Ibrahim we may find.

Then you are saying "Sheikh Ibrahim, the famous".

Or you are saying "Sheikh Ibrahim, Shukrullah".

Yes. Only this, your description.

Only saying " Muhammad Knight, Sheikh Muhammad Knight",

you know about yourself only 2 names?

"I am Abdul Haqq," Sheikh Abdul Haqq says.

No other, only this one name about yourself?

And you are a... You are one universe.

Sayyidina Ali said,

"O People, you are thinking yourself

a little, a small object,

but really, you are a whole universe".

Whom Allah Almighty opening

their hearts to look sons of Adam,

or to look this universe

looking to ourselves with another eye, with another look.

And don't be angry when I am saying you are looking yourselves

sheep-looking, sheep-eyes.

You understanding?

'Sheep-looking' people they cant' see

that a Man, he is a full universe

and representing a whole universe in himself.

Therefore we are only knowing

"I am Sheikh Abdul Haqq,

living in Chicago".

Yes. Not living in New York,

or Santa Fe.

Whole knowledges that mankind knowing now,

it is only one drop in

the sight of awliya's knowledges.

Only one drop.

They are knowing about themselves,

then knowing about others.

You are one, like galaxy, he is one galaxy,

which things you are contained.

How many stars and suns and worlds you have,

yet you are seeing your star

only one point of light

but you are so big,

and big, and giantic

your reality.

Your reality.

You are containing

containing so giantic worlds in yourself.

But now, concentrated...

concentrated, you are not seeing one atom piece,

how much power included,

containing? Yes.

Rabb, when He is going to be known?

When you are knowing your Rabb.

Under which Name you have been conditioned.

You must know this.

By which of Holy Names

you have been conditioned

then that should be key

for the Lord's knowledge.

He is Rabbu l-Alamin.

Rabb who

from nothing we are saying now, but it is wrong,

from nothing manifesting

whole universe.

But it is a wrong word.

Allah Almighty

creating everything

and He has in His endless Power Oceans

for universes,

"yantaqu shayyan zahir" (says to a thing, "Appear!") They were in 'batin' (hidden).

If we are in manifesting,

or we are in appearance,

[it is] when He is going to give His Divinely Light on us.

Therefore we are coming,

that everything going to be in lights, nur.

Nur, no material,

no substance.

No space for it.

No, only appearance.

When He Almighty wills

to create, creating from His Lights

and whole universe has been created

from the lights of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Because he is the first creature

Allah Almighty catching

one palm, one handful,

from His Divinely Lights

and saying "Be! Beloved Muhammad".

And beloved Muhammad appeared, peace be upon him.

And from that Light Oceans

Allah Almighty ordered to appear

whole universes.

And it is going to appear.

And you is one

from those endless creatures.

But you have been distinguished among others.

You have some

distinguished lights from your Lord

making you distinguished creatures among others.

He is Creator.

We are... They are sending us highly.

So high level

words coming now, therefore

when I am going to say for [about] Creator

we must come down, to say that universe in need

for a Creator

because creation is in existence.

If creation in existence, Creator must be.

Must be. That is logic, hanh logic.

Logical.

Because no one up to time

may claim that he is a creator

even for a smallest piece

of soil or anything.

No one can claim.

Yes, we said Nimrod claimed

that "I am lord of Earth",

and he was disputing with Abraham peace be upon him,

and asking, "What your Lord doing?"

Abraham saying, "My Lord

can give life and take away".

Then he said "If His attribute to give life

or to take it away, I may do this".

So 'kabak kafalı', stupid person.

He thinks so easy to give life

because he called 2 slaves

one killing,

one sending away, making him free.

And he saying that, "Oh, I am like your Lord,

2 slaves, one making him free, giving him life,

one taking away from him life". So stupid.

'dört köşe kafa' Blockhead person.

He thinks so easy to give life or to take away.

But Abraham peace be upon him,

not going to discuss or dispute

for that stupid person

quickly bringing another hujjah, (another proof) and saying,

"Yes, you are doing this,

but my Lord brings sun from East

and making it to set in West".

Can you bring sun from West

and setting in East?"

"fabuhital ladhi kafar" (2:258) (So the disbeliever was overwhelmed).

The Durrells in Corfu: A Day in the Life of Josh O'Connor - Duration: 1:13.

- Today we're in Bouas Village,

otherwise known as the Corfu film studios.

The sequence we're shooting is where Larry joins

the Corfu fire service.

- I'm Josh, and I play Larry Durrell.

Today, we're doing episode five,

where Larry seems to think that he's able to be a fireman.

(peaceful music)

- This place is called Bouas Village.

It's named after the family of Bouas.

- We're now building a hole for a fireman's pole.

It's taking a long while, because it's technical.

(banging)

- Ahh, bravo!

Installing a fireman's pole.

This is the real mother of Larry Durrell, Emily O'Connor,

she's just been in a scene with me.

- [Off Screen Director] Action, Josh.

(peaceful music)

- Yasou.

~How Great Thou Art~(Harmony Collab) Zen and Anna Rammel w/Lyrics - Duration: 2:35.

~HOW GREAT THOU ART~ O Lord, my God when I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds Thy Hand have made

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder

Thy power throughout the universe displayed

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee

How great Thou art, how great Thou art

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee

How great Thou art, how great Thou art

When through the woods and forest glades I wander

And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees

When i look down from lofty mountain grandeur

And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee

How great Thou art, how great Thou art

Then sings my soul, my saviour God to Thee

How great Thou art, how great Thou art
