hey it's Kyle with Midwest Aftermarket we are here live in Las Vegas for SEMA
2018 yeah up top oh we're doing great hey it's Kyle Midwest aftermarket live
at SEMA 2018 in Las Vegas we're in the t-rex booth alongside my man Victor
what's going on my friend what's going on we've got a lot of brand-new stuff to
show you hopefully got some time for us now you told me that you're gonna show
me what's new and what's hot so let's start with what's hot right one of the
hottest things we've done so far is the 2018 Jeep Jail see this this is pretty
sweet yeah biggest thing is uh we're getting compliments on it it's a really
good-looking grille bigger so you know that people don't realize it's a
one-piece design so it's an easy install mounts from behind removing the factory
grille putting this on and take about an hour kit comes complete with the LEDs
you're about seven Watts apiece on each one so that's about 70 total nine
hundred looms on each one so it's about 90 if I did my math right 6300 I'll lose
on take your word for it I don't think I have any idea so if you're lifting your
your Jeep you can do a slight adjustment down to it that's good too yeah it's
definitely people have asked and that's we had to do that for them but most
popular piece we've got is a zero its grill this is a mesh pattern that we cut
into the grill again one-piece design so the install is easy
it's our popular piece there next one is going to be our mesh series and then our
torch series here with which is our stealth series which are black rivet
here awesome and you're talking about how you know when you look at this a it
doesn't look like it's one piece and B it doesn't look like it would be as easy
to install as it is exactly exactly people keep coming up is at a left side
right side is it seven pieces no one-piece design four clips on top
literally within five minutes you're already installing our grill it's pretty
it comes complete with a lifetime warranty and the harness if you want
install it with a three year warranty on the finish it's a piece hot for us we
introduced it in July it's been good since I said the more complicated that
it looks but easier it is the better right yeah exactly
so we take a look at what's hot now what do you say we take a look at what's new
the next thing we've got is definitely our new laser ex metal grills which is
what you see here that's a 20 18 X this whole wall is 2018
Ford f-150 at the bottom it's our extra metal series and then laser X we kind of
morphed or combined the mesh grille as far as our torch
series grille into the laser X Pro which is a mesh pattern price points going to
change plug it a little lower and more it'll be more competitive on the market
basically for us say by the way it's called x-metal and laser X right correct
yeah so that one's got basically two things are going on that's got a frame
on it that we cut then we've got the mesh itself it gets come you know then
we put that together then the second one here that's all cut out of one single
piece so there's a basic align mesh pattern cut into the material as opposed
to having a separate mesh on the frame is the person who named these here is
that you Victor no not me I think we we actually know it started about ten years
ago if not back in Oh 708 I think it was that's when the XML brand came yeah
gonna tell you first of all obviously this thing looks amazing but secondly
this is like if I were to name a product X metal and laser X that sounds like the
two most awesome 80s action movies ever oh the guy right there he's maybe
old-school mini truck guy that kind of cook got into this kind of it so it's it
makes total sense lays their egg so the grill you see on top that's our al
series that's that's for the 2018-2019 Ford f-150 we have an option also for
firm view camera you don't see it there but there is an option for it it's a
really popular grill it's actually a really pricey grill we're willing to mm
that and it's one of our top sellers dude that looks unbelievable
yeah that's a good looking piece it's definitely different than our f250 grill
if you look over here on the left this top one here that's well into the
mid-2000s definitely gonna notice somebody driving down the road in that
and that's actually a top-selling grill for us people are dropping
you know 22 to 25 under dollars depending on the combination or the
color combination and again it has the option for the front view camera for
like the platinum platinum trucks does really well for us
you got combinations of black all black black with brushed or just all brush
like you see there that's definitely a top mover for us it's done well I mean
it's an absolutely gorgeous grill anything else going on from t-rex this
year besides that we got our zeros branded pieces it's all its led mounting
solutions that's been number one it's been top it's it's basically it's a fast
growing product client for us it's um it's a we started off with our torch
series grills from with LEDs the LEDs from that by default
having LEDs in-house people asking for other mounting solutions we expanded
into our zero product languages again LED mounting solutions we've got roof
brackets we've got hood brackets everything's 100% bolt on except for of
course the roof there is some drilling involved and we do lifetime warranty on
that product as well as on the LEDs so it's just been great for us it continues
to grow people are taking a liking to it and people do good with it real quick
over here zero product it's an expansion of the zeroed stuff this would be a
quick idea we introduced so in combination with the GPL grills that we
did gl grills have been wonderful for us they've been doing really well I'll
sorry jail bracket what you'll see is how clean the crease is as far as the
compound curve on this thing is awesome a lot of guys out there there's multiple
things going on ours our designers were able to go in there and engineer this as
a one solid one-piece so it's a clean install it's probably one the cleanest
you're gonna see out there when we offer it as a complete kit we also do it as a
bracket only bracket with a single pot or dual pod and again as a kit or
without a kit and one thing people probably don't see too often or you hear
about actually is on wind noise from Jeeps as far as you get the whistle when
you're driving you know driving down the road if you look just underneath that
bar down there we have a wind diffuser they run anywhere from 60 to about 80
bucks depending on on the size and if it's curved a straight bar but that'll
on the truck side it's gonna eliminate the roof vibration that you generally or
its associated with the roof roof mounted on LED you're almost gonna
eliminate that and you're gonna basically get no wind noise whatsoever
cheap guys need to be looking at this what noise that's your solution right
there and that certainly shows you stand behind the product right that lifetime
warranty you're not just chucking product to people and then jumping out
of the way exactly grenade diving into the trenches know you're down there with
him working I oh man Victor thank you so much the metal x.x metal so ex metal and
laser torch series ex metal extra metal tour series in laser X so we got to
cooked a couple different things going on it's all popular and we're getting
good reaction with it so I'm pretty sure you guys should do see some good numbers
with it and people asking for it I hope check out my Pantera cover band laser X
