So this is our newest product. We produce electricity with living plants

What we do here is we actually generate electricity with the plants

that grow here, and we gather technology in the box.

And then we can light the LEDs that are on top of this box

so if I push this button then all these glass fibers turn on and off randomly as a light effect.

This technology's completely safe for the environment. We actually make use of

natural processes around the plant, and we don't do anything to change that

so what we do is the plant produces organic matter and releases some of it

into the ground and then bacteria in the soil break down the organic matter and

they release electrons. So we capture the waste products from the bacteria so the

electrons and use them as electricity and that's it.

Basically this is what's in our boxes, and what we could put into full ground as well so this is

the simple system with two electrodes. An anode and a cathode where we can

actually capture the electrons and produce electricity. So basically it's sort of a battery

but then with very sustainable materials and running on biological processes.

Today you we can light a few LEDs or you could charge

your cell phone on probably 15 to 30 square meters, so that's a large phone charger

but in the future we're looking to produce more power and at the lower cost price

so that we can generate enough power for several households on a hectare

Does men's underwear matter for fertility ? - Boxers vs briefs - Infertility TV - Duration: 2:50.

Today on InfertilityTV we are going to discuss underwear. Specifically male underwear.

Stay tuned for 60 seconds to get my fertility recommendations

The following statements are well agreed upon facts.

The testicles are located outside the body in the scrotum.

The temperature of the testicles is a couple of degrees lower than inside the abdomen.

When the scrotum is exposed to heat over a period of time, this will have

an adverse of effect on sperm production.

Based on these facts, several practical questions comes up.

Will wearing tight underwear increase the scrotal temperature?

Several studies have looked at this but the results have been inconsistent.

The next question that scientists have tried to answer is

Does the type of underwear that a man wears influence sperm production?

Several studies have also looked at this but

again there are conflicting results.

Some studies say yes but other studies say no.

A recent study, one of the largest ever performed, found a 17% decrease in sperm numbers when

men chose non boxer type of underwear.

Why all the uncertainty? Well. for one, like most lifestyle questions, it's pretty difficult

to rule out all other variables and to say with certainty that one factor, such as underwear

choice, makes a difference.

Second, there is a huge variation in the type of underwear

that mean wear. It's not just a difference between boxers and briefs but the length of

the underwear and how tightly fitting it is. The material is also important

Cotton, nylon, silk, polyester, flannel-- all may have a different impact.

Finally, studies show that

up to ⅓ of men will change their underwear to a different type before going to bed!

Here are my InfertilityTV recommendations for men

If you like boxer shorts, knock yourself out. No one has ever suggested any adverse effect from boxers

But, if you like briefs, keep wearing them.

There isn't sufficient evidence that this one factor, by itself, will make you less fertile.

In fact, the largest study to look at actual fertility potential found no impact of underwear type.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey guys!

It's Jana!

And today I'm gonna make my Thanksgiving

green bean casserole it's a little different than normal so you might want

to stay tuned and also an appetizer that I'm also bringing to our Thanksgiving

meal we are celebrating with my husband's family at grandma's house so

you know the food's gonna be fantastic

and of course the company will be wonderful

we haven't hung out for a while so it'll be nice to see everybody

and enjoy Thanksgiving together and be thankful all around

I am thankful for my awesome family and how much growth we have

accomplished throughout this last year

we have had a few things come up a few battles a few life things and we

have come through it stronger wiser and ready to take on the next thing

so we are very thankful for this past year for teaching us so many wonderful things

sometimes the hard way but that's okay that's life right

because they're semi my own creations just kind of mixed a few recipes together

so I just need to wrap that up and throw that in the fridge ready for Thanksgiving

and then we have our green bean casserole well our non-traditional green bean

casserole it is so good I mean everything with bacon is good and it's

just it's different it's different and it's better that's all I have to say

different recipes and kind of mucked it up myself so

they're really good I haven't let you down yet

get to the finish line safe and sound, bringing home

a second place, and win the challenge with Luca Salvadori

I still have to compliment Luca, because despite

having again issues with the engine

he managed to do a great race, with incredible battles

Hi guys, it's Laura from 'How To Get Your Sh*t Together'

and I help busy women get organised, get motivated, and get grateful.

Now, being Irish I don't actually celebrate Thanksgiving

but last year I started Alternative Thanksgiving where I listed some simple things in life that I am thankful for.

These go beyond the standard "friends and family" stuff

and get into the sometimes strange, often silly things to show gratitude for.

So, for the second year running, here is my list,

and I encourage you to share one of your things in the comments:

#1 is... Google.

I do not know how I lived without it. I do not know how I coped in a pre-Google world.

I don't know how I got anywhere, I don't know how I found any information,

I don't know how I made a decision on what I was going to buy,

I don't know how I won arguments.

It's a mystery!

#2 is invisible braces.

When I was younger my front tooth stuck out quite a bit and, honestly, it never really bothered me.

I even declined braces as a teenager because, truthfully, I just didn't care all that much.

But – and here is a story that I don't tell too often – after I met Sam and I knew that we were serious

I decided to get braces because...

I didn't want to have crooked teeth in my wedding photos.

Sad but true.

So I got the invisible style, which were great.

I could pop them out at mealtimes so there were no restrictions on the types of food I could eat.

I didn't have to bother with wax or any of that.

And, looking back now, I am so glad I did it.

Like I said, the crooked teeth never really bothered me

but now that I am making videos for a living and putting my face out there a lot more

and, honestly, opening myself up to a lot more criticism

I am happy that I have straight teeth.

Next up, botox and a nose job. Ha!

#3 is sandwiches.

I am a terrible cook, and I do not enjoy it at all. And too often I turn to frozen meals.

But sandwiches! Sandwiches make me feel like I am actually getting some decent food into me.

Some decent nutrients. While also filling me up, and taking minimal effort.

Sandwiches, I salute you.

#4 is books, glorious books.

If you call me a nerd, I won't take that as an insult.

I would happily spend hours every day reading.

I love learning, I love being entertained, I love discovering mysterious and magical new worlds,

I love being sucked into a really great story, I love being stumped by a good psychological thriller,

I love being inspired by new ideas.

And, because I'm a member of a library, I have access to tens of thousands of free books.

Hundreds of thousands, probably. My days will never be dull.

I am currently reading these two books.

#5 is BIC.

I have tried many pens. MANY pens.

And I always come back to my trusty black BIC.

They're cheap and they last forever. They are like the cockroaches of the stationery world...

but less creepy.

I have often thought that it would be amazing to receive a lifetime supply from BIC

but it would be, like, 5 pens.

And, as it turns out, after I wrote it this a list I had a look back at last year's video

and I included BIC pens in that list too, so that's how much I love them.

#6 is people who call you back.

It never ceases to amaze me that people who run businesses refuse to call you back.

I don't know how many people I have called for quotations, or with a question,

and they always say they will get back to me... but they never do!

Same with emails.

So the odd unicorn that does get back to me is pretty much guaranteed my business

because they are clearly much more organised than the competition.

Maybe this is just an Irish thing. My husband seems to think so. I don't know.

#7 is TeuxDeux.

This is the planning app that I use and I would be lost without it.

Most of you will know that I am pretty obsessed with planners and notebooks and productivity,

and I searched for the perfect system for a long time.

I tried lots of different things, both physical and digital, before finally finding TeuxDeux.

And it was like the heavens opened up and a choir of angels sang just for me.

It is still not "perfect" – I have sent some things to their suggestion box... also known as their email address –

but I have been a believer for several years.

I will occasionally check out an app or a planner that somebody else is raving about

but, ultimately, I always stick with TeuxDeux.

They have got their claws into me good and proper.

8 is hot water.

I hate being cold. And cold showers? I don't know how anyone does it to themselves. I really don't.

The work of the devil.

I know they are supposed to be so good for you

and, actually, a few years ago I did try to have cold showers for a while.

Just to see. But I realised that...

I actually like myself. I don't know how anyone intentionally puts themselves through that.

Like people who run marathons.

Do you not like having toenails?

Every time I hop into a hot shower I say a silent hallelujah.

#9 is...

BALLOONS!

What's not to love?!

#10: camera doorbells.

We just got one and it is magic.

I am the kind of person who does not answer the door.

If I am not expecting you, then I probably don't want to talk to you.

But, you know, sometimes I foolishly decide to answer it anyway.

I don't think I have ever not regretted doing that.

But now when the doorbell rings, I can check on my phone to see who's there.

There is a live feed at all times so I can even just look out at the street if I want to.

It also auto-records for a minute when it senses movement so that all callers are captured on camera.

And I can even talk to people through the app.

I'm gonna have so much fun with that next Halloween.

Frighten the bejaysus out of some trick-or-treaters. Mwahaha!

Bernie Sanders & Ro Khanna Team Up Again To Tackle Corporate Greed - Duration: 5:35.

Senator Bernie Sanders and democratic representative Ro Khanna have announced a new joint legislation

that each of them has introduced in their respective chambers, chambers, Sanders in

the Senate and the house.

It's called the Stop Walmart Act, and what it's going to do is prevent corporations like

Walmart from engaging in stock buy back if they're not paying their employees $15 an

hour, basically, if you're not paying your employees a living wage right now, the starting

wage for a worker in a Walmart as $11 an hour, which amounts to about 19,000 per year, well

below the poverty level for a family of three.

So Walmart is paying poverty wages.

Taxpayers in those area end up subsidizing those workers through the form of a, uh, food

stamps and other Medicaid programs like that.

So much like they did with Amazon, with a stock basis act, sanders and Kona are coming

after Walmart hoping to recreate the same success that they had with Amazon.

Here's the thing, we know right now, the corporations are engaging in massive stock buybacks.

That's actually what they have invested most of their tax cut money in.

It's not giving workers a raises, it's not increasing their benefits, it's not expanding

their company and hiring new people.

It's on stock buybacks which only enrich the shareholders and the ceos of those corporations.

Walmart itself announced a $20,000,000,000 stock buyback recently after getting their

tax cut.

You know how much it would cost Walmart to pay all of their employees a minimum of $15

an hour plus benefits, which this legislation calls for.

It would cost them three point 8 billion a year, but they were going to spend 20 billion

buying back their own stock this year, so doing what this legislation would call for

what actually saved them.

Money would increase.

Local revenues would force other employers in those areas to raise their wages to remain

competitive.

Consumers would have more money to spend, which they will study, show that people who

make under, I think about 100,000, 80,000 a year typically spend 100 percent of their

paycheck, so even increasing their wages, they're still going to spend it all.

They just might be able to now spend money on going out to dinner once a month.

Getting those car repairs done that they've been putting off for three months because

they couldn't afford it.

All of those things, no matter how small, create more economic activity in a certain

area.

Bernie Sanders understands that Ro Khanna understands that in a handful of Democrats

in DC, understand it, but not enough people understand how that works.

This isn't about punishing.

Accompany.

This is about making sure that workers are taken care of so that can go out and increase

economic activity.

This isn't about, you know, showing a corporation how much power the politicians have.

It's about showing a corporation what can happen to communities when people make a living

wage, and yes, part of it is also about making sure that we start to close that gap between

the haves and the have nots.

The bigger that gap gets, the worst the economic activity in an area becomes, again, Sanders

and Khanna understand this.

They also understand how much success they had with the Stop Bezos act without ever having

to pass it.

They use the bully pulpit, they use their microphone, they use their positions to get

an Amazon to change its ways without ever having to pass the legislation.

That is a remarkable feat.

These two men are out there doing what everyone in Washington dc should be doing and what

a lot of the newcomers in DC are planning to do as well.

You know, we got a big progressive wave that came into congress that's going to be sworn

in in January and they're going to jump on this legislation as well.

We need more fighters out there like this and we just got a whole new, a set of recruits

elected in the midterms, so hopefully much like the Stop Bezos Act, this one doesn't

even have to come to a vote.

Hopefully Walmart and all the other companies that are targeted by this because it would

affect a lot of them.

Hopefully they understand that if they give their workers a little bit more, everyone,

including the ceos of those companies will make more money.

It is a win win, no matter how you slice it.

All the shareholders have to do is take a small temporary hit and then a few months

there'll be making even more money because they took care of their employees who now

have more money to go out and spend in the local communities and God forbid maybe they

have enough money to pay for their prescription drugs or pay for their rent or pay for medical

care or dental care or car repairs.

We have to start taking care of one another.

That is the mentality that's been missing from corporate America for far too long, but

luckily people like sanders and Khana and all these new comers to the House of Representatives,

they understand that that's important and they understand that.

That is the only way this country is going to get better.

Samsung Galaxy S10 - Video Of Screen Protector | iPhone XR Low Sales Continue - Duration: 3:14.

So yesterday we saw this screen protector leak for the Galaxy S10 and S10+ and today

we have a video of that thing.

Shared by Ice Universe, the screen protector reassures some big changes are coming to the

handset.

Interestingly, the razon thin bezels doesn't look that asymmetrical in this video as compared

to this photo, which gives more credence to what I said yesterday that you won't even

notice the difference in real life.

A lot of you commented on yesterdays video that you didn't even knew the bezels were

asymmetrical on your S9+ until I mentioned it.

So yeah, I can assure you'll hardly notice the difference on the Galaxy S10 as well.

Remember Samsung teased a device a few weeks ago named the Galaxy A8s, that showed an edge-to-edge

design with possibly a hole in the display for the front-facing camera.

Now a render made by AllAboutSamsung shows the possible design of the handset.

These are the same guys who predicted the design of the Galaxy A9 a month before its

launch, so they're worth giving our attention to.

By the way, these renders are based on the inside information they recieved from their

sources and as you can see, it appears the Galaxy A8s would be Samsung�s first smartphone

to feature an Infinity-O display.

I doubt the chin would be so thin, I expect it to be the same size of the S9 but you never

know.

Samsung's strategy has changed dramatically recently and they're not holding back on anything.

So it's possible the Galaxy A8s might look exactly like this, we'll find out soon and

I'll surely keep you updated.

So there was a report a couple of weeks ago that the iPhone XR wasn't selling well.

A lot of Apple fans didn't believe that saying These articles come out every single year,

There's absolutely no truth to these claims.

Well, the most renowned Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who the Apple fans love to quote,

has now cut his prediction of the shipments of the XR from 100 million to 70.

That's a massive 30% difference.

70 million still sound like a lot, but it�s also a whopping 30 million units less than

the previous forecast.

Not only that wallstreet journal says that Apple has now cut the production for its entire

2018 iPhone family this year.

It was expected, to be honest.

These companies should realize that not a lot of people are willing to spend over $1000

for a phone every single year, especially when the differences aren't substantial.

I doubt the prices would ever go down but at least offer the hardware or features that

justifies the price.

Is that too much to ask for?

PewDiePie Makes CRAZY Accusation Against Lilly Singh - Duration: 4:37.

Popular YouTuber PewDiePie calls out Lilly Singh for making a video about her taking

a break from her channel for mental health reasons and people are scratching their heads

as to why Welcome to Inform Overload, Im your host Johnny

Rogers and if youre new to the channel, we tell you about the most interesting news stories

we find on the internet, and we make them more entertaining.

This is a strange and crazy accusation coming from PewDiePie who has never really had any

previous issues with Lilly Singh.

He believes that she understood what would happen by taking a break from Youtube and

claims that the only reason why she did it was for more attention.

This is a very cynical approach to mental health that also calls into question why PewDiePie

would make a video about it if he truly didnt care.

He said during his Pew News - Im getting a little annoyed by it.

Im not gonna lie.

Its like shut up.

Shut up children.

Just take a break.

Sure the obvious thing for Lilly to do if shes feeling overwhelmed is to take a break,

but you also have to recognize that her loyal fan base is going to wonder where she is.

People dont subscribe to Lilly just for her videos, they subscribe for her personality

and who she is.

Therefore if Lilly is no longer entertaining her fan base she almost owes them a response

as to why.

Or maybe she just cares about her fans enough to let them know whats happening in her personal

life.

She even states several times that this video isnt meant to draw attention and she seems

sincere in saying that.

PewDiePie goes on to cite a statement from Youtube saying that channels wouldnt decline

during breaks between videos, but how can they possibly determine that.

If a channel I enjoy isnt putting out content that suits my needs I unsubscribe.

Which would then lead to a decline in that Youtubers channel.

PewDiePies main issue with Lilly is that she knew this video would be monetized and perhaps

did it because her channel isnt doing well.

However the thumbnail and the title really dont scream click bait.

Its not like she wrote the words huge announcement, no she just wrote - Ill see you soon.

That could mean anything.

Its purely meant for her fan base to understand where shes at with life.

In my eyes PewDiePie seems more worried about views and feels the need to capitalize on

other popular videos to continue his momentum.

He even mentions at the start of the Pew News that article 13 has been approved which restricts

countries in the EU from uploading game footage.

Which is essentially how he made his name.

However I dont want to seem cynical here as well by questioning his own motives for posting

about Singh.

Its quite contradictory though to say you hate that Youtubers need to monetize everything

only to turn around and make a video for monetization.

Lilly adores Felix as well and even tweeted at him when he followed her back in 2015 He

could have easily reached out to her privately and said that he didnt think that was a good

move.

Instead he just made it part of a news segment that he could also garner attention from.

If you know someone experiencing mental health issues let them know that youre there for

them, dont accuse people of having ulterior motives just be there for them.

We have to remember that were all human.

Just because Lilly Singh brands herself as Super Woman doesnt mean that shes going to

feel that way 24/7.

We need to be more optimistic with these kind of things and trust that Lilly isnt doing

this for attention.

If you really watch the video she is being genuine.

Lilly has been doing this for 8 years, we have to take a step back and realize that

everyone needs a break.

But enough of my opinion on the matter.

'Family isn't something you have it's something you find': Student-athlete, 19

A collegiate athlete who was 'disowned by her family for being gay' has stopped accepting donations after 'receiving more than she could have ever expected'.

Canisius College runner Emily Scheck, 19, was kicked out by her family along with all of her belongings after her mother discovered a picture of her with her girlfriend.

Thousands of kindhearted strangers have since donated their money to Emily on a GoFundMe page set up by her friends, after she was given the ultimatum of leaving school and entering sexual-conversion therapy or being disowned.

Emily, from Webster in New York, released a statement expressing how overwhelmed she has been by the response from people, but will now close the crowdfunding page after the total reached more than $100,000.

She said: 'Thank you to everyone who showed their love and support in this difficult time. The positive outreach has been unbelievable.

I never expected this amount of support. I have chosen to stop accepting online donations because what has been given is more than anyone could have ever expected.'.

Emily said that this Thanksgiving, she is 'grateful for everyone in my life who have continuously been there for me. Her statement encouraged supporters to give to LGBT organizations to help others who are struggling.

She added 'I now know that family is not always something you have, but something you find. ' It ended, 'Love is love'.

Emily nearly had to chose between the generosity of strangers and her college running career when the National Collegiate Athletic Association announced that it prohibits student athletes from receiving goods and services. But after a significant outcry, the NCAA changed its position.

After discovering the photograph one text message from her mother to Emily read: 'Well, I am done with you. As of right now, declare yourself independent. You are on your own. Please don't contact us or your siblings.'.

Emily then asked her mother why she was doing this, to which the mother replied: 'Because you disgust me.

The sophomore opted against conversion therapy, and when she returned to her campus home in Buffalo, she claims she found her car's license plates had been removed and her childhood belongings had been shoved into the automobile, which she had purchased herself.

According to Emily, her father previously paid for the car insurance, but decided to rescind the payments and remove the license plates, and actually drove all the way from their Rochester-area home to do so.

What she had not paid for – tuition, books, and car insurance, among other things – was suddenly a significant problem.

'At the start it was definitely tough,' Emily told OutSports about moving on without her family's financial assistance. 'I was lucky to be in preseason the first couple of weeks because coach could get us meals in the dining hall.'.

As Emily explained, she has often had to rely on her girlfriend for food: 'We've had a lot of meals together. Emily, who works several jobs, was on a partial athletic scholarship, but with bills mounting, she realized she needed help.

After her coaches tried and failed to find a solution, her friends stepped in to launch the GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $5,000.

News of Emily's plight was reported by The Buffalo News, which also interviewed her parents for their position.

Emily's father, Timothy Scheck, told the News he wanted his daughter to return home to participate in counseling sessions, but that did not mean conversion therapy. He insisted that the family accepts Emily as she is.

Timothy expressed regret for initial comments he made to his daughter, saying that they were coming from a place of anger and hurt. He said that comments about disowning his daughter were a ploy to get her to come home.

'It's a private family matter,' he said. 'We love our daughter. Emily, however, told the News that her parents' behavior changed after the GoFundMe page was created.

The story in The Buffalo News attracted even more attention to the crowdfunding campaign, which raised over $56,000 in just 11 days.

But Canisius's NCAA compliance office informed her she would be forced to either return every penny or to quit the cross-country team.

According to Emily, the school offered to work with the NCAA to find a way to raise the money that would not put her eligibility in jeopardy.

An an NCAA spokesperson told OutSports that all parties are 'currently reviewing all options for the student-athlete. But after being contacted by The Buffalo News, the NCAA changed its position.

It released a statement which read: 'Emily Scheck can retain her eligibility and continue to receive GoFundMe donations that assist her with living and educational expenses.

The NCAA said that Emily could keep the money raised on GoFundMe as long as Canisius monitored the situation to ensure it was being spent on necessary items.

'Canisius and the NCAA will continue to work together in support of Emily,' college spokesperson Matt Reitnour said. 'She is a member of the Canisius family and we will do whatever we can to assist her.

another non-denominational Christian Church in Anthem. They offer services on

Sunday morning. #6 Grace North Church: This is a Foursquare

Church in Anthem which is an Evangelical

Pentecostal Christian Church with services on Sunday.

#7 St. Rose: St. Rose is the only Catholic parish in Anthem. Looking on their

website, they have different things going on every day of the week, so there's lots

of opportunity to get involved there. #8 Summit Church: Summit Church

falls under the Assemblies of God denomination, which is part of the

Pentecostal faith. Looking on their website they offer a Sunday service as

well as a service on the first Friday of the month.

#9 Sun Valley: Sun Valley, like Cross Life is a Baptist Church in Anthem. Looking at

their website they have services and activities on Sunday and Wednesday. And

last, but certainly not least, #10 The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day

Saints: Looking on their website it appears that there are different service

Today on InfertilityTV we are going to discuss underwear. Specifically male underwear.

The following statements are well agreed upon facts.

The testicles are located outside the body in the scrotum.

The temperature of the testicles is a couple of degrees lower than inside the abdomen.

When the scrotum is exposed to heat over a period of time, this will have

an adverse of effect on sperm production.

Based on these facts, several practical questions comes up.

Will wearing tight underwear increase the scrotal temperature?

Several studies have looked at this but the results have been inconsistent.

The next question that scientists have tried to answer is

Does the type of underwear that a man wears influence sperm production?

Several studies have also looked at this but

again there are conflicting results.

Some studies say yes but other studies say no.

A recent study, one of the largest ever performed, found a 17% decrease in sperm numbers when

men chose non boxer type of underwear.

Why all the uncertainty? Well. for one, like most lifestyle questions, it's pretty difficult

to rule out all other variables and to say with certainty that one factor, such as underwear

choice, makes a difference.

Second, there is a huge variation in the type of underwear

that mean wear. It's not just a difference between boxers and briefs but the length of

the underwear and how tightly fitting it is. The material is also important

Cotton, nylon, silk, polyester, flannel-- all may have a different impact.

Review Maserati Ghibli GranSport - Duration: 5:32.

This Italian behind me, is the Maserati Ghibli GranSport.

I'm testdriving this car for a few days

so I'll give you a short but fun review

with lots of action shots

cause it is gorgeous no?

he has certainly got the right looks

elegance - cause that is what Maserati stands for

elegance, luxury and sportivity

we'll come to the sporty bit later

let's start with the engine

it's a 3 liter V6

there's also a diesel version with again, a V6

little less horsepower: 275 HP

this car has 350 HP

and the Ghibli S, the fastest one, has 430 HP

so, let me level with him

so we can properly see that huge nose

nice isn't it?

huge grille, angry looking headlights and the trident in the centre

the trident of Neptune, which stands for power..

the four brothers thought that was the perfect symbol to represent their brand

another fun fact: there's red and blue in the Maserati logo..

also seen in the speedometer

because red and blue are the colors of the city Bologna

where the brand was founded back in the early days

just so you know ;-)

how about them wheels?!

large size

flashy red brake calipers, black rims, with the Maserati logo in blue

matches well with the paint job

but the most bad-ass option is the full carbon package

I have to say, I'm digging it

it makes the car much more bad-ass

it's now classy, stylish, with an edge to it

the carbon elements make it look sporty to me

for 3200,- euro's you'll get your mirrors, door handles and lots of interior elements in carbon

carbon galore!

I do love it. Yes, I love it.

the most important change is the shifting pattern

of the automatic gearbox

you can now easily slap the stick to the left, to put it in manual

cause that's what we want..

before it wasn't logic at all, kind of sensative, easy to put it into R instead of a different gear

Maserati handled the complaints and improved it

that's the biggest improvement

also their infotainment system is improved..

much more friendly to use

and there are some new wheel options and paint colors available now

I have to say the interior looks well done

sporty, but elegant

but the steering wheel is strikingly big

you can't really call that sporty..

but.. there's more carbon in the steering wheel so that compensates!

just like the centre console, also carbon(look)

further more; soft leather, red stitching, alcantara roof

would have liked that better in black btw

instead of light grey

the logo's in the head rest..

such a classy car, really.

let's talk money.

The 3l V6 is available from 143.000 euro's

this exact car costs 167.000 euro's

that's not cheap.

I've checked the brochure how that's possible..

mainly because of the full carbon pack (32.000 euro's)

the Bowers & Wilkins surround system doesn't come free either

but the most expensive option, apart from the Alcantara roof..

...is the leather.

that kinda surprised me..

it costs 3800 euro's (!)

again.. it ain't cheap.

conclusion: it's the perfect daily, a good car to drive long distances with..

perfect for a young family

but with a sporty edge (...)

Okay, I'll take it back.

I just pushed it, acted like a hoonigan, put it in Sport..

used the paddle shifters..

and it was exciting!

It's always a good sign when you're starting to feel sweaty between the buttcheeks

he has got it!

so I'll have to take back the ''not that sporty'' comment

it can behave like a bad boy

Basically it's the perfect balance between a daily car, a cruiser and...

a bit of naughtiness.

Every family has a different taste.

Every family has a different preference,

and I'm here to set your table of Thanksgiving films.

Lets get started.

Now, I'm gonna start with one of the classics that

I'm sure you and your parents know about,

but I'm gonna say it anyways because you can't

leave this one out when it comes to a Thanksgiving film.

Let's get it on over.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Who doesn't love John Candy?

Who doesn't love Steve Martin in his prime?

This is a John Hughes classic.

You gotta turn this bad boy on if you want some

edgier family fun, but I will say it's

not the most rated G film you can watch with your family.

Hence it's why it's rated R.

If you do want something a little more youth skewing

so you and your kids can enjoy this film together,

why don't you head on over to Home Alone.

If you haven't seen Home Alone,

you're really really missing out.

Who doesn't love Macaulay Culkin, you know,

setting up some traps in his home while his parents

have forgotten about him, and it's the true meaning

of families staying together during the holiday.

If you don't love Home Alone, there's

something (bleep) wrong with you.

If you want something even more heart warming

and you gotta get your cartoon fix,

go ahead and throw on a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

I know, that's a really really basic answer,

but it stands the test of time.

And you can go ahead and pop in all the

holiday classics, from the Peanuts gallery.

Let me go ahead and set the table with the Peanuts gallery.

Now if you want to mix it up a little bit though,

and you still want to have a good heart warming

holiday film, I gotta recommend a

good old classic, It's a Wonderful Life.

It's a bit more of a Christmas and holiday film,

but who doesn't love some young Jimmy Stewart?

There's a great life lesson in there.

You gotta appreciate what you have

in your life before it's gone.

Sad that didn't play.

To round out this list, here's a bit

Baby Driver.

If you want some good ol action fun with your family,

you guys are lookin to have a good time

and watch some good thrills and some good acting,

Foxwell NT200C OBD car scanner review - Duration: 7:03.

Hi! Today we are in BMW and we're going to test and review this little scanner.

This is Foxwell NT200C. It's a basic OBD2 scanner and we're going

to check how it works in BMW, if it detects any faults, how the life data

looks here, and what are the other functions that are available on this

little device. But before that let's just say that in the box you have this device,

there's a user manual (well illustrated, few languages inside), and an USB cable

for software updates. First of all you can press ENTER to go to the scan mode -

to the diagnostic mode. Or UP or DOWN to go to settings - to setup. And here you can

select language, you have few to select from. And other thing that you can choose

is measurement units. We have metric. And contrast of the display. We can

adjust that if you have some difficulties seeing the display. OK, so

let's go back, now let's press ENTER and the device - already

connected to the car. It's showing that there are no codes in the car. There are some

monitors available. And we are in the diagnostic menu. Over here we can read,

clear codes, see some live data on the data stream, see the freeze-frame. If we

have some codes we can see the freeze-frame when the code appeared. And we have

the readiness monitor, and some vehicle information over here. So let's start

with the live data. Let's go over here.

And the device scans the car for

available PIDs and each PID is one of the engine parameters that we can

see over here. DTC count = 0; that means that we have no error codes

pending. And we have for example mass air pressure in kPa, and

that's 102. That's about atmospheric pressure and when I rev the car it

should go slightly up.

Yeah, 140, 130, 110 and goes back to the default.

OK, let's scroll down to see what's else available in this car. RPM, speed sensor,

intake temperature, mass airflow...

One thing that I don't like is when you scroll all the way down to the end of

the list it goes back up but when you press UP it doesn't go back to the last

position. So if you know that something is at the bottom you need to scroll down all

the way to the bottom. And if you miss that, if you press one time too much,

and you go back up, and you want to go back, there's no going back. You need to scroll

down again. So that'sa little inconvenience over here. OK, so let's go

to car information, let's see what we can find over there. And... ah, OK. You need to press,

shut the engine, leave the ignition on.

And we can check vehicle VIN, calibration ID...

And I have to say that I checked this in other cars. And in one car (in Volvo) I had

problem to see their VIN. But I contacted the Foxwell and they

developed an update for this in three or four days, and send me the update.

So that's impressive that they can develop updates so fast and fix those little

bugs in a matter of days. OK, as I said in BMW I have no codes so let's go

to a different car.

So here we are in Volvo V50 and I know that there should

be some faults in this car. So let's connect to this car... And it connects

pretty quickly. OK, we have four codes found in the car. So right now let's read them.

You can select your vehicle manufacturer, so some of the manufacturer

specific codes will have descriptions. Not all of them but some of them.

So let's go all the way down to Volvo. I would just love to press UP once to go

to the end of the list but I have to scroll down all the way over here.

And I have fuel pressure related faults. This is the first one, second one... This is

the manufacturer-specific. It starts with the "P1" so it's not a

generic DTC code, but it's specific for this car. And there's no description,

sadly, for this code, but I know that this is also related to the fuel pressure.

Second one, third one, and fourth one. OK, all four codes are related to the fuel

pressure valve.

So now let's check if I can clear those codes. Let's...

leave the (ignition) on.

A let's try again. Clear codes. "Are you sure"? Yes. Codes cleared.

Let's read them again. No codes found.

OK, so it works.

OK, to sum it up

this is a really nice device. I like it, it's small, compact. The screen is black and

white so you will not have any graphs over here (so this is the screen

limitation) but for the entry base device this is, I would say, it's a very

good piece of hardware. And the only thing that I don't like is the scrolling.

As I said to go to the end of the list. You cannot go one time UP to go to the

to the end. But the missing scrolling feature is a software problem and they

can easily solve it with a software update. As I said before they

are working really fast when it comes to the to the updates. If you report your

concerns, your bugs - they most likely will fix it within a few days and release new

software, new firmware that you can install into the device to have it

working as you expected. If you want to buy one of those check the link

Brooklyn's Premier Persian Restaurant || Eat Seeker: Sofreh - Duration: 6:15.

- [Nasim] I always love my food.

But when I left Iran, I didn't think of our food

as anything as special.

It was the food I grew up with.

But then I went to Iran after nine years.

Suddenly I realized, oh my God, our food can totally

take a center stage.

Somebody has to show our food to the world.

I came to New York and I threw myself in the food scene.

Back then my husband and I indulge ourselves.

I explored the whole world cuisine.

Here in New York on the palm of my finger,

and being so passionate about food,

that's all I did.

Then I went to Iran, and the food soon became a little

bit more elaborate.

And I thought, we have Indias, Chinese, Thai...

All that food being represented.

And Persian food can not only stand up to

all these food, has a merit of its own.

And I was struck by how people were comparing our food

to like, Middle Eastern.

Yes, we are logistically located in Middle East,

but our food is so different.

I was getting really mad.

No, our food has a culture and character of its own.

And it needs to be represented as such.

I grew up eating Koofteh Berenji,

which is meatball with rice.

The meatballs are very light.

We don't process them too much.

We handle them very lightly, so they're kind of airy.

And the broth is saffron, and tomato, and onion.

And then you serve it with broth.

And I always serve it at home with a bowl of yogurt,

so my kids could add as much or as little as

yogurt with the broth.

They would gulp down the meatball first,

the broth they would add the yogurt, and

that's how they ate it.

So here I'll just put a scoop of thick yogurt on top,

and that's how people eat it here.

Same exact dish my mother made,

I made for my kids.

And now being served here.

Iranians have so many ways of doing rice,

probably can become a book by itself.

We always have Saffron Basmati Rice.

That is like, the jewel of Persian cooking.

And it's the most comforting food in the world,

if it's done right.

The herb rice is a combination of five herbs in there.

It's cilantro, parsley, scallion, dill, and fenugreek;

as mix of all the herbs.

So we layering them, semi-cooked, all into rice.

We just create a bed of rice in the bottom

with oil and spices,

and then we build up little bit of rice,

little bit of herb,

until the pot is over.

We cover the lid and you steam the rice just enough

to get the crust.

The rice is almost cooked, but we just want the crust

to be also crispy.

That's the whole flair of it.

After the war,

we had a lot of migration and movement.

People from south came to my city.

They brought this dish Ghalieh Mahi with them.

To me was like, "Wow, this is amazing!

Never had anything like that!"

But that was just one time.

And I tried to do it here a couple of times.

It was OK, but it isn't what I remember.

And then my best friend, she's from south,

she's a fabulous cook,

and I asked her to make her version one time.

And she made it, I watched her,

and I made my version and we put them side by side

and they were really close.

So I watched her carefully,

the same way I watched my mother.

I wanted this dish to be authentic.

I did not want to be someone who's not from that area

and representing that dish.

It's just wrong.

And knowing, trusting her cooking;

I mean, she said, "This is it.

This is it."

We have an amazing fish monger,

who gives us the best fish I have ever seen in New York.

So we crisp up the skin, but leave the texture moist.

The sauce goes on top,

lots of herbs, lots of onion, garlic and chile,

cooked slowly over long long time.

People literally lick their plates.

In the beginning, I was so excited.

I was taking pictures of these massive amount of plates,

that there was not a grain of rice in it.

And for me, when I hear the laughter and the buzz,

empty plate,

I'm done.

Every night.

Sofreh had lots of meaning in our culture.

"Sofreh" literally means a piece of cloth we put

either on the floor or on the table before we eat.

Just like a place mat here.

That's literal translation of "Sofreh."

But Sofreh had also so many other meanings.

And there's one particular Sofreh meaning,

means a lot to me,

and that is when you make a wish.

And when your wish comes true, you cook a large meal,

you get people to help you because it's a very good cause,

and you give away the food.

And that is called Sofreh Nazr.

So when I thought of name,

and I was like really thinking hard,

it just embodies food,

embodies fun,

and one day I was like, "Sofreh, what else?!"
