KIT BUILD - Nova Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II kit | AIRSOFT - Duration: 8:00.

In this episode I assemble a Nova Kimber LAPD metal kit.

My donor gun will be a Tokyo Marui M1911A1 Colt Government,

since that is the best way of making sure I have ALL the necessary parts for a functioning

gun.

This will not be a complete Kimber LAPD, but rather a Kimber LAPD/Colt Government frankengun.

These are all the parts I am going to use from my donor gun.

If you want to see it disassemble of it, here's the link.

And these are the parts that came with kit.

Starting with the frame I first transplant the trigger,

which is easy and straightforward.

I move on to install the inner frame.

I do this inside of a box so I won't lose the wiley GM1-48 spring.

I also make sure the hammer strut is in the right position before proceeding.

I then secure the inner frame with the hex head screw which will be hidden behind the

slide catch.

After that, I install the pins holding the inner frame and associated parts in place.

Secure the inner frame with the screw that came with the metal kit.

Turning the gun up-side-down, let part GM1-46, the disconnector, fall into place with a little help.

Maybe more than a little.

Next I install the leaf spring, making sure the hammer strut rests on top of it.

I install the grip safety and mainspring housing, and again make sure the hammer strut is in

the right position.

Which is not like this.

Slightly more to the left, so it's centred.

When I've solved the hammer strut and mainspring housing problem, I secure everything in place

with this pin.

Making sure I install it from left to right, since it is wedge shaped.

I place the plunger tube on the frame and push it into place.

I then push the slide catch plunger in,

next the cannibalized plunger spring,

and lastly the thumb safety plunger.

I install the thumb safety,

with some help from a small screwdriver,

being careful not to pinch my fingers.

OW!

I hurt my glove.

The grip bushings that came with the kit are screwed onto the frame.

The Marui 1911 mag catch is cannibalized and installed.

Turn it counter-clockwise into position.

I install the Tokyo Marui M1911A1 grips, which are made out of lies and deception,

on the Kimber frame.

But don't worry.

These grips will be replaced in a later episode

I place the cannibalized slide rail into the Kimber slide, and screw it into place.

I place the cannibalized blowback housing into the Kimber slide and realise that it

doesn't fit.

Next I modify the right rear of of it in order to fit the Nova slide.

This could be done with a hacksaw, but I slowly grind it down with a file to get the perfect fit.

Here's the before and after.

After modifying the blow-back housing, it drops right in.

I can now install the nozzle return spring from the top of the slide.

I then take the rear sight and drop it in at an angle at the slides mid point.

I then push it as far to the left as I can, and it's done.

Now I can secure the blow-back housing to the slide using the cannibalized hex screw.

I take the included firing-pin spring and place it on the hex screw.

I then carefully place the fake firing-pin on the spring.

Next I drop this plate on top of it all and hope nothing is disturbed.

I can now put the fake extractor in place, and secure it with the included grub-screw

on the bottom of the slide.

Lastly I install the front sight, I do so by applying a drop of thread lock.

I choose thread lock sense you can reverse the process with heat.

Making sure I push the front sight in from left to right.

I wipe away any excess with a paper towel.

You really should wait 24 hours for it to harden,

but test firing it once or twice don't bother me.

I'M TOO EXCITED!

I take the inner barrel assembly from the donor gun

and place it inside the barrel that came with the metal kit.

After the barrel I install the cannibalized recoil spring plunger,

recoil spring,

and recoil spring guide.

To top it all off I install the Marui barrel bushing,

making the slide complete.

I then check that I have not messed up my front sight in any way,

before the thread lock hardens.

I can now put the complete slide on the frame.

Before installing the slide, make sure the thumb safety is pushed as far down as possible.

Otherwise you'll be wondering for the next half-hour why your slide keeps getting stuck

in this position.

I'm not saying this happened to me,

but I'm also not denying it…

Lining up the disassembly notch on the slide,

with the cut-out on the frame,

and insertthe slide-catch.

It might be necessary to push in the slide catch plunger with a screwdriver.

Thus making the gun COMPLETE.

Let's test-fire this thing!

And today I'm going to teach you how I PSE signed

"Want You Gone" from the video game called Portal.

Let's start.

Remember that the screen might be flipped.

This is my right hand, and this is my left hand.

Learn the signs accordingly to what your dominant hand is.

I'm right handed, so whatever I sign on my right hand

Should be what you sign on your dominant hand.

It starts off with the first verse, which is

"Well here we are again."

So I said, "We--" and "We" is a "K" hand. Like, "you and me."

"We're here again."

"It's always such a pleasure--"

I just said, "It's always--" which is this (demonstrates)

"It's always nice to see you."

"Remember when you tried to kill me twice?"

I've seen two versions of "Try."

An "A" hand like this

Or "T" hands.

I prefer "T" hands. There's no reason for it.

"To kill--"

And, "Kill--," The best way I can describe it is

Your finger is a knife and this is a body

Not a nice description, but that's what the sign is trying to show.

And the sign I've seen for "twice" is a "K" hand against a flat hand and up like this.

I did the sign for "before"

GLaDOS was pretending she never said it.

So she didn't mean to say it.

So I did this.

Then it's on to the third and final build-up/chorus.

And it's "Go make some new disaster."

I did the sign for "go on"

"Go on, make--" I said, "Cause--"

"Cause a new disaster."

"That's what I'm counting on--"

I said, "I don't care."

I know it's a different meaning--

So, "Go on and cause a new disaster, I don't care."

And "Don't care" is like this.

That's just what I chose to do.

"You're someone else's problem--"

Two bent "V" hands like this.

"Now I only want you gone."

And then a repeat of that.

And then that's the end of the song, so...

Hi. I'm Jonathan Sulzbach.

It's a nice day, and this is a video blog.

[UPBEAT MUSIC]

Erica is here with me. She's off-camera.

ERICA: Hi. [LAUGHS]

- We're on our way to Best Buy to pick up a New Nintendo 2DS XL.

We have made it! Best Buy.

I don't work here, so I don't know where the 2DSes would be,

but I'm guessing it'd be right down there because that's where the 3DSes go.

You can see there is not a one.

There is not a one of the two.

Just kidding! Erica already picked up hers.

Whoa! Check it out. It's such a cute box.

New Nintendo 2DS!

ERICA: He's like, "I don't care. I want the banana. Give me the banana."

- If I can't eat it, it doesn't matter.

You can actually give him banana?

- Yeah. - Oh my gosh.

I've never seen him eat a banana.

All right, I'll take that.

So it's out of the box. Erica's on a phone call right now,

so I think I'll just take a couple of beauty shots.

Behold, the 2DS XL.

See, I didn't even know that my 3DS had a ZL and ZR

because I've never played a game that utilized those buttons.

Here's a close-up of the pull out tray.

You can see that it extends.

SD card on the left, game card on the right.

My hands are fairly average in size, but...

That is just a dinky little stylus.

It feels like it's made from less expensive materials.

This rattles around a little bit.

There's a bit of a springy give to the home button.

I would say the buttons feel about the same.

They're a little thinner but they still depress.

So in Erica's hand, the stylus seems to be A-OK.

- I'm happy with the size. [LAUGHS]

Of course I would be, right?

So already I know that I like this one better.

This one is my baby. This is a unicorn!

It's got two IPS displays and I like the 3D.

But, I want to try this one out and see,

just because of the weight,

which one I'm actually going to gravitate toward.

Probably this one.

This one's so light! That's pretty much

the only thing I like about it.

So we'll see what I use practically.

How about that? Like a challenge.

- They should have called it the New 2DS XL Lite. [LAUGHS]

- Yes. What? Yes.

- Just to make it more complicated. [LAUGHS]

CW released a Super Session trailer which shows part of the flash season for

arrow season 6 Super Girl Season 3 an elation Smart's season at 3 so the

show's comeback in this order a super go will be a Monday the 9th of October the

flash Tuesday 10th of October followed by a legends tomorrow again on Tuesday

the 10th of October one hour after the flash and then arrow will be on Thursday

the 12th of October remember it's switch places with

Riverdale so Oliver Queen this might be a late night looking like he's still the

mayor which is interesting because even though we got to see him as the mayor

last season we didn't really get to see much of that mayor side come in from the

arrow season 5 so I'm really looking forward to seeing if they're going to

explore the mayor storyline in more depth as it is quite a big part of the

Green Arrow comic books so Cisco says Cisco's the curls will not be corrupted

or something on them lines so Cisco does have a CCPD badge on him which this

makes sense to me so he can work side oh.what alongside the police without

getting questioned but one thing that needs to be addressed is where was Barry

for six months because when he was disappeared for six month Julian I I

presume wasn't there left a job so did they hire a new CSI temp or something as

Barry Allen was stuck inside the Speed Force for six months I presume in real

time so I believe Joe West will have to tell captain Singh that Barry Allen is

indeed the flash because otherwise he would have got fired and it will make no

sense where Barry Allen was they can't say who was stuck in a coma when he

initially got by lightning so that's gonna have to be

the case captain Singh said you have a light breakfast I was like no I had

pancakes and sausage so berry look she looks very confused in this scene which

could be confused to him looking drunk or hungover but Barry Allen can't get

drunk with normal alcohol I know some people can say yes he can

I know but it was Caitlin snow she made a special kind of drink that could he

couldn't kind of be percept that basically with allowed to get drunk

temporarily but our version the Barry Allen can't

get drunk by normal alcohol this those in a Barry Allen scenes more chilled and

relaxed at this part of trailer but it seems to seem to change later in the

trailer heatwave looks hilarious in this trailer

one of the main reasons why legends is such a fun a light-hearted show we see a

new shot of Deathstroke on the island which looks insanely great from a visual

point of view I can't wait to see this shot of Slade boost and Deathstroke in

our of season 6 whenever this kind of part pops up as we don't know which

episodes are from we can just presume that from the first couple of episodes

so guys I don't know I've not seen anyone talking about this part so maybe

you missed this part but we see killer frost slamming someone's head into a

table which looks like it could be at STAR Labs at glance it maybe looks like

a version of Harrison wells to me but it's hard to tell I think it's just some

more long hair 24 to 25 seconds in if you want to see it I overlay an image

you have to pause it because or slow it down because the trailer does fly pass

pretty fast we see Cat grin said go ahead fry way she's in the White House

cat grant for me is only one of the reasons why I watch Supergirl without

her it lacks character Batman it lacks storyline it lacks everything so the

fact that cat grant is gonna be involved with Supergirl season 3 means I'm

actually gonna watch it so Barry Allen at the weight of the

whole city falls on my shoulders so here we see battery going

to be in himself being a bit more serious looking like he wants to be a

superhero obviously in a clip with captain Singh Barry is just confused

perhaps maybe I don't know the rights did say that we're going to see a very

different version of Barry Allen when he returns from the Speed Force as he would

have lived his life out thousands of times over inside the Speed Force unlike

when Wally was in there for five minutes but inside the Speed Force time is a

linear so it makes no difference how long you're in there when you're in

there you feel like you in there for eternity so we see Dinah Drake in her

new black canary suit which goes over really fast so it's hard to tell how it

looks but for my glands he does look pretty cool I'm such a big kind of fan I

guess of the Dinah Drake character I think it's a potential character that

could be awesome and I'm really looking forward to the kind of relaxed iron

versus black connector storyline it's gonna be awesome so Nate Hayward takes a

selfie with Julius Caesar himself which is pretty ridiculous I'm pretty funny

like I said what heat waves it's a hilarious thing about the show because

as we know we're legends varsity season 2 ended with 2017 dinosaurs being in LA

so if you really think about it guys when time gets back to normal the

picture would never have actually happened when the versions of our

timeline gets fixed so it's pretty funny so everyone over all guys this trailer

it was pretty decent I mean a 30-second clip there were a few parts that I hope

you picked up if I've missed anything guys that you guys picked up on that I

did I mean I went over it a couple of times I mean the killer frost bit where

she stands head and I'm not sure if people see in that so hopefully if you

didn't pick it up you have now picked it up so guys you want to please like
