LIVERPOOL completed a hat-trick of victories over Arsenal for the first time in 19 years as they took full advantage of a simply woeful performance from the gruesome Gunners.

Liverpool do not need any encouragement to take the fight to the opposition at Anfield, and their speed and movement were simply too much for Arsenal to cope with.
But despite completing the double over the Londoners last season they must have been amazed at how much time and space Arsenal allowed them.
The Gunners were lucky to beat Leicester in their opening game, and squandered a glut of possession when they lost to Stoke. But this is the performance that will really set the alarm bells ringing.
Their midfield quartet of Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Granit Xhaka and Hector Bellerin were even more guilty of ball-watching than their back three.
The Arsenal fans predictably turned on manager Arsene Wenger, who sprang a surprise by leaving out £52million man Alexandre Lacazette to accommodate the return of fit-again Alexis Sanchez.
Roberto Firmino broke the deadlock and was unmarked to head in from close range.

Jurgen Klopp was delighted after Liverpool scored their second goal. The unsettled Chilean barely got a look-in as Firmino started the rout with his fourth goal in his last four appearances against Arsenal.
He glided the ball home with a stooping header after Xhaka surrendered possession in a dangerous area, and Mane made it 2-0 before half time with a curling shot that gave Petr Cech no chance.
Wenger tried to change things round at half time by replacing Ramsey with Francis Coquelin, and switching to an orthodox back four.
But it did little to stem the attacking flow, and Liverpool deservedly added to their tally when Salah robbed Bellerin and ran the length of the pitch before slipping the ball past Cech.

The Gunners have not won a game away from home against a team that finished in the top six the previous season in more than TWO YEARS.
Their last victory came in January 2015, a 2-0 win at Manchester City, a run that has seen them lose eight and draw five of those matches. Liverpool have proved to be Petr Cechs biggest bogey team.

Mane has contributed six goals (four goals, two assists) in his last six starts against the Gunners and Firmino has four goals in five matches against them.
It only took three matches for the #WengerOut brigade to return, as angry as ever. Fans on social media were fuming at Wengers team selection ahead of kick-off and it wont have got any better after such an embarrassing defeat.
Mohamed Salah now has as many goals for Liverpool, three, in four matches for the club as he got for Chelsea.
Salah was on the books at the Blues for 29 months, although he spent more time out on loan than he did in West London. Daniel Sturridge climbed off the bench to score his 99th career goal.
Such a humiliating defeat should be enough to spark Wenger into the kind of spending spree he went on after the Gunners were smashed 8-2 at Old Trafford in 2011.
Trouble is, the transfer window closes at 11pm on Thursday night. Wenger again started with the 3-4-3 formation that served the team well at the end of last season and helped the Gunners win the FA Cup.
But Arsenal do not have the players to pull it off. Laurent Koscielny is a very good centre-back but not a commanding one. Hector Bellerin is not a left wing-back. Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka offer ZERO protection to their defenders.
Mesut Ozils complete lack of interest in working back means the Gunners are always light on one flank. Danny Welbeck cant hold the ball up. it didnt work at all.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson: I thought we did very well. I always thought we were pretty solid, we defended well as a team, put them in areas we wanted them to be. And we devestated on the break.
I felt as though we controlled the game everywhere really, delighted with the lads, they were brilliant, we worked ever so hard and got our just rewards.

Pennsylvania State University. Today's example will cover Rayleigh's method of
dimensional analysis. Our goal is to express the efficiency of a fan in terms
of dimensionless parameters when we know that it is dependent on the density, the
dynamic viscosity of the fluid, the angular velocity, the rotor diameter, and
the discharge rate. At this point I recommend that you pause the video and
attempt to solve the problem on your own before viewing the solution. To start we
know that our efficiency is a function of these five components, so we can set
the efficiency equal to the product of each of these components raised to an
unknown power and multiplied by a dimensionless parameter K. For each
component in this equation we'll want to substitute mass, length, and time
dimensions, and we can determine the exponents on these dimensions by
examining the units of each component. So now we rewrite the equation for
efficiency in terms of dimensions with the exponents on each dimensional term
on the right hand side corresponding to the units of each component above, and
you should note that on the left hand side each exponent is 0 because our
resulting efficiency should be dimensionless. The next step is to equate
the exponents for each dimensional term on the left hand side to those on the
right hand side. So for the mass term we have 0 on the left hand side, we have a
from our first term on the right hand side and b from our second term on the
right hand side. For length we again have 0 on the left hand side. From the first
term on the right hand side we have minus 3a we have minus b from the
second term. We have d from the fourth term and 3e from the fifth term.
And finally for time we have 0 again on the left-hand side

term on the right-hand side and -e from the fifth time on the right-hand
side.
That gives us three equations that we can use to solve for the unknown powers
and our expression for efficiency. However, we have five unknowns, which
means that to move forward with our solution we're going to have to reduce
this number. We can do this by expressing some of the unknown values in terms of
other unknowns from the first equation. We have that a equals the opposite of b.
From the third equation we have that c is equal to the opposite of the quantity
b plus e, and finally from the second equation we have that d is equal to
three a plus b minus three e. And we can further simplify this final result by
substituting our first result for a which will give us that d is equal to
negative 2b minus 3e. Now that we've reduced our number of unknowns we return to our
initial expression for efficiency and substitute for the exponents that we've
redefined. This gives us an expression for efficiency with only two unknowns
remaining. We can then separate our exponents so that each term has only one
unknown. And finally we group our terms under each remaining unknown exponent.
Our result has two unknowns remaining. If you recall when solving the problem we
used a system of three equations but five unknowns, meaning that we had two
degrees of freedom. So this will be the simplest expression that we can arrive
at with the given information. I would encourage you to work today's example
until you're able to solve it on your own. The problem statement was from A

3.Glaucus Atlanticus
You could find it in warm waters of the oceans, as it floats on the surface because of a gas-filled sac in its stomach.

They use their unusually-shaped noses to feel their way around.

Hurricane Harvey has proven to be one of the most devastating storms our country has ever
witnessed.
There has been one confirmed death, and there has been at least $40 billion in damages up
to this point.
During filming for a segment on The Weather Channel, something occurred that would make
the heart of any true American swell with pride.
Weather reporter Paul Goodloe spotted an American flag sitting just outside of Rockport, Texas,
in the wreckage of a tree.
As soon as he saw it, he ran to pick it up off of the ground.
Goodloe tells his camera man, "I can't let Old Glory just sit here like that."
He then walked through the wreckage, and toward the flag.
Once he made his way around the street, he stated, "I don't know how strong the winds
have to be to cut a palm tree in half, but that's what happened to the top of this
tree."
He then looked at the flag.
"But next to it, you have Old Glory.
I can't let Old Glory just sit here like that," Goodloe states again.
This kind of patriotism is so rare, we need to recognize it when it is caught on camera.
Goodloe then went on to mention that nearby schools were battered.
He then bent down to pick up the flag and stretch it out.
Goodloe begins folding up the flag the best he can, despite the winds blowing against
him and fighting his every move.
After finally managing to fold the flag into a triangle shape, he smiles.
Goodloe finally comments that he couldn't get a "perfect fold," but that the job
will suffice — he then tucked the flag under his arm and continued reporting on the storm.
This sense of patriotism is lost among the new generation — in particular, the Democrats.
They no longer understand what great sacrifices the men and women standing for that flag had
to go through for our freedom.
Perhaps it is something that will elude them forever.
