Hello. Welcome to my channel. I jasmine.
These days simple bug pilaf with Allah's permission with you
we will do.
Needed materials: 2 cups washed findings.
Quarter cup of tea olive oil.
An onion.
A tablespoon of tomato paste.
One tablespoon of butter.
A teaspoon of salt.
half a teaspoon of turmeric.
One teaspoon of pepper.
A teaspoon of mint. A teaspoon of thyme.
Four to five cloves of garlic.
olive oil and butter in a rice cooker
We are angry.
Before the hot oil then onions on the garlic
We scorching Stir until the smell.
We scorching, stir in tomato paste until well dispersed.
Stir in the bulgur on
We scorching 2-3 minutes.
Finally salt and
We scorching more of a stir in spices -ie.
We're adding water on the parched wheat.
a cup size aquatic bulgur, two cups
water.
We leave the rice to cook over a low flame.

About six years ago, I was looking for a job
that was conducive to like going on auditions and stuff.
I found being a food tour guide.
Actually I found it on Craigslist.
After awhile, I had my own vision of what I wanted
the food tours to be.
So about three years ago, I started Nice Guy Tours.
I am a nice guy.
It's been years, and years, and years of delicious research
that I've put in.
After a tour one time, I saw a homeless guy.
He went to kick a pigeon, and he missed.
Then he tried to punch it, and he missed.
And this lady said, "You shouldn't do that",
and the guy goes, "That pigeon's a jerk.
"I've known him for years."

This is the original Biryani Cart,
and we're gonna have Kati Roll from here.
The Kati Roll is made with this delicious tender chicken
that they actually let soak overnight,
and then it's got sauce on it.
They make it with paratha bread,
which is kinda like a soft taco
that predates the soft taco coming from India.
Part of my job as a tour guide
is to make sure that none of the food is poisoned
or anything, so I have to sample it.
Oh my God.
So, Kwik Meal is one of my favorites.
They've had write-ups in New York Times.
Bobby Flay was here, and it's really delicious.
We're gonna have Biryani, which just means meat over rice.
In this case it's gonna be lamb over rice.
A little yogurt sauce on the side.
A little bit of salad.
It's a delicious little meal in of itself.

Meaning, it makes me sad and frustrated when I see a really smart English Learner like you in
A group of English speakers, and you're not speaking so this makes me mad
Not at you
But it makes me mad that you don't have the tools to interrupt and to join that conversation so today
I'm going to give you not one not two but
75 ways to interrupt politely in any
English conversation
So this is going to solve this problem once and for all and I'm gonna see you more fluent and way more
Confident by the end of this lesson now as you watch this video
I want you to repeat all the words and phrases after me then after you watch the video

Before we learn interjections which are ways to interrupt in a conversation
I want to make a point you need to have something to say you need to have a purpose
Don't just interrupt and then say nothing plan ahead a little bit what you're gonna say or just keep it really simple
You could just show your understanding or you could agree or disagree
but it's a good idea to be ready to follow up your
Interjection with something to say if someone is talking and talking and talking really fast
And they don't give you any time to join the conversation then try to wait for them to
Pause at the end of a phrase or to take a breath
I mean eventually they have to breathe right so that's a great time to politely jump into a conversation
Okay, first of all let's begin with attention getters attention getters are categories of words that don't really have any
meaning
But we use them all the time even more often than regular
Vocabulary words to get other people's attention so number one is not even a word
I'm sorry, but it's a great way to
Interject into a conversation. It is to clear your throat
Go ahead repeat boom next um
three hmm four
Five oh
well
so
Hey
Now hey is a little bit casual so as we go
I'll point out different words or phrases that are more formal or more casual number nine
Say someone's name in the conversation so for example James
And then of course you're gonna follow that up with the purpose of why you're interrupting for example James
that's a great idea ten guys so guys can be used in a group of men or women or
Just men or just women or both
It doesn't matter and eleven is the formal version guys
Ladies and gentlemen so only use this in really formal situations or when you're trying to be funny in a casual situation
Guys can be used in pretty much any conversation, but it's not super formal
So just try to observe a little bit and see if it would be appropriate if other people are saying guys
Otherwise you might want to substitute this with everyone
For example everyone, I think that's a great idea everyone is appropriate in
professional situations
Next number 12, we're going to talk about several phrases. You can use to add information
I need to add something here. Can I just say something here now?
This is a question. Don't wait for a response you don't need permission
This is just a way to get people's attention so you can go right into what you'd like to say can
I just say something here. I think that's a great idea 14. Can I just add something here 15 may?
I add I'd like to add. Let me add something that reminds me for this one. You'd want to tell a connected or related
Story or piece of information for example that reminds me

We have several phrases that are literally asking to interrupt in a conversation, so let's go

I don't mean to intrude, but now this one is more for joining a conversation that you're not already part of like if you
Overhear other people talking and you want to join their conversation, I don't mean to be rude
But and this one is also for joining a conversation that you're not already part of may
I interject this one is super formal and never used, so I don't recommend using it
But it's good to know now
If you're in a meeting or in a class you might like these next phrases before we move on to the next

I don't know if it's more British English or just old school
But I can tell you it's not used as often as excuse me now you can also use
Asking for clarification as the perfect way to interrupt in a conversation
You could ask could you clarify that

Could you explain that a little more do you mean that and then when you use this one you need to summarize what you?
Understand the person has already said so for example. Do you mean that you think that's a great idea?

I've been here 39 years and I've been brewmaster for 12 years.
I'm Jimmy Mauric, brewmaster at Spoetzl Brewery, Shiner, Texas.

I drink lots of Shiner. [laughs]
We've been brewing beer for 108 years. I think we have quite a bit of history.
[music]
They were all German and Czech immigrants coming into this area.
My father was German, my mother was Czech. That was the typical household here.
And that's where they needed their beer.
[music]
Kosmos Spoetzl, his influence on the brewery was, he was the first brewmaster here.
Because the Shiner Brewing Association did not make very good beer,
they brought in Kosmos Spoetzl to make good beer.
There wasn't a lot of advertisement and we're in the middle of nowhere in Shiner, Texas.
It was a challenge to be known and to get your beer out there.
There wasn't prohibition in Shiner. [laughs] I kid you!
During that time, we survived by selling ice, making ice.
And also, we had a product called "near" beer.
You brew it like beer but you'd decant the alcohol off it.
And you would sell it as a little malt beverage.
But it had been known to be a little bit closer to beer than "near" beer in those days.
But, oh well!
I can remember in the late 1980s we were producing only about 30,000 barrels.
In which we're producing about 550,000 now.
The big guys, they could sell their beer a lot cheaper than we could.
They had marketing, they had sales. So yes, it was very challenging at that time.
We had new ownership in 1989. Carlos Alvarez from the Gambrinus company bought us.
He gave us all the tools to work with.
He had marketing and sales expertise that he brought along with him.
That helped us tremendously to get our feet back on the ground.
And look what we got now.

As you walk around this place you can see it.
I mean, with all the technology that's in this old brewery...
...you can see how we've caught up with the times and really have a state of the art facility.

Yes, we're in 49 states now. But every drop of Shiner beer is made in Shiner, Texas.

in DC, oh the Mansion on O Street! But we had such an excellent time we were here for

be a musician to love this mansion. They couldn't get me out, they were

here in Tanzania, near Lake Maniara
but we will go today
after 30 minutes, more exactly
to the Ngorongoro crater
one of the natural wonders of the world
We'll stay there all day
and we'll see special things.
Truly special.
At least, I hope so now
I slept in the tent
I had a mattress
I did not have a pillow
so, my throat hurts, my head hurts
otherwise, I slept well, the back does not hurt
The crickets sang well in the morning
so did the birds
You know how it is in nature, right?
I think it still heard how cock sing, right?
Birds came to drink water from the pool
By the way
I did not have the courage to swim in the pool
it does not look too clean
Now I'm going to eat breakfast and see you later.
Dear friends, I arrived at the entrance of Ngorongoro Crater
The ride took an hour and 10 minutes
It's 09 o'clock in the morning
Now we are waiting for the guide to pay the entrance fee and then we will go further

So this is it last few hours in Australia we have got a guy coming round
to pick up the fridge and the washing machine in a minute
Baggins is getting picked up he's staying overnight at the airport and then his
flight is tomorrow at 2 p.m. so we're going to be saying goodbye to him in a minute as well
It's all going on!
Hope he's gonna be all right! The man from JetPets? He's gonna be alright!

Right so... out of breath! In the last 15 minutes a guy has come and collected the washing
machine and the fridge Baggins is gone it was very sad we hope he's going to be
alright being such a big scaredy cat fingers crossed and then then somebody's
someone's just come and picked up the couch so place is looking pretty pretty
bare know to be fair!
Right then! Stressful as you like! We've
checked in. Erm it's...
7.30pm here. The flight's at 21.50pm. For Rosie it's way past her bedtime
but she's done really really well. Was gonna video the whole check thing but it was
just way too stressful we've got so much stuff...

Wow! Yeah so this is the last little video
before we before we (Daddy!) get on the plane
So we made it to Abu Dhabi 14 and a half hour flight. It actually went as well as can be
expected why am I wearing the hat? Because of that!
This little one was very well-behaved weren't you? Yeah!
Are you saying hiya? She slept for about maybe six or seven hours in total but she was
awake every hour. We managed to get some sleep
strategically planned because it was an night time flight. We're an hour early getting
into Abu Dhabi. That means about 6 hours wait in the airport until the next flight
which is another 8.5 hours so still got a long wait ahead
of us but two-thirds of the way there so...
Right so we're back in Manchester Dr. Saleh Alibaba has finally made an episode of
the vlog! Look how happy he is! Look at his face! So, Gez and Rosie have
actually gone home with Gez's Mum and Dad with all the stuff. Me and Dr Saleh
Alibaba who's also a Ragdoll Dad erm we are off to get Baggins from the freight
terminal. So erm that's basically it. Anything to say?
So we went and picked up Baggins poor Baggins was in a bit of a state when we
picked him up. He was really disheveled a bit freaked out. A bit freaked out? He was shitting
himself! Shivering. Obviously Sydney to Manchester!
and his crate was in a bit of a state so I didn't film any of that bit for obvious
reasons. Yeah, then we've just been bedding in since
then. So, the last couple of days we've just been really trying to get over the
jet lag Rosie has been a bit up and down with a
you know the first evening we went to bed she got up at like 11.30pm
and wanted to play until 5am in the morning so it's been pretty
pretty full on and running over the jet lag with her toddler just managed to
get my whole home office thing sorted out which I'm very pleased about and
finally over the last couple of days managed to get back on the tools and down to some
business which is which is awesome so... Now the hard work really begins!
