Hello!

My name is Amy Sturkey.

I am a pediatric physical therapist.

I am here with my friend, Myla, who is my co-instructor.

She helps/specializes in teaching how to treat children with low tone.

There you go.

In the last video, I mentioned that her legs were going wild.

So, I did a minor modification with my legs.

I tucked one of my legs in a little further than the other leg.

With that I have been able to get her on her hands and knees.

I've got her hands underneath her shoulders.

So, she is in kind of a hands and knees-ish position.

Oh goodness.

She says, "I don't know about all of this.

This is hard."

Uh-huh.

There you go.

You are doing just fine.

So I am working on hands and knees and rocking this time.

Rock her forward and back and side to side.

If I had a toy in front of us, it would encourage more head up behavior.

Ok, ok, ok.

We got it.

Myla says, "That is enough of that!"

of you guys got something you never finished something you really want to do

something you never said to summer softened and you're told no even after

you pay your dues who's got the right to tell you that who no planning it's your

right to be where you want to be to do what you want to do

people that you have in your life no matter how good of a day you're having

don't bring you down or and no matter how bad of a day you're having they'll

bring you even lower you know what I'm talking about

think of the three biggest discourages in your life they're not your biggest

discourages you are most people they raise a family they earn a living and

then they died they stop growing they stop working on themselves they stop

stretching they stop pushing themselves that a lot of people like to complain

but they don't want to do anything about their situation and most people don't

work on their dreams why one is because of fear the fear of failure what if

things don't work out and the fear of success what if they do and I can't

handle it these are not risk-takers

they're moments when you're going to doubt yourself it's a god life

why is this happening to me I'm just trying to take care of my children and

my mother I'm not trying to steal a Rob from anybody how did this have to happen

to me for those of you that have experienced some hardships don't give up

on your dream they're rough times are gonna come but they have not come to

stay they have come to pass it's necessary that you get the losers out of

your life if you want to live your dream

but people who are running toward that dreams life has a special kind of

meaning someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality that you

don't have to go through life being a victim and even though you face

disappointments you have to know within yourself that I can do this even if no

one else sees it for me I must see it for myself

then everybody won't see it that everybody won't join you that everybody

won't have the vision it's necessary to know that that you are an uncommon breed

it's necessary that you align yourself attract people into your business who

are hungry people who are unstoppable and unreasonable people who are refusing

to leave life just as it is and who want more

living a dream of riding winners to attach themselves to

dreams of a people that know that if it's going to happen it's up to them

failure is not an option when you go into it I want you to go into everything

you do listen to me as if failure is not an option all right it's not a button

it's not a label it does not exist who can do it don't let nobody steal your

dream I used to ask myself can I kill this and something said within me you're

the one you're the one

you're listening to you'll get a hundred hours of standby time you have an apt X

Qualicum transmissions you got your wing tips which are removable and changeable

as well and it can support up to two devices simultaneously so if you're

listening on one you want to switch and listen on to another I think that's a

great idea and I'm looking forward to testing that out so they are sweat

resistant as well so you can use these in the gym or light rain so we just have

a tab pull out of the bottom here so you can see our headphones neatly snuggled

into here where I'll show you them in more detail in a second underneath

you'll find a nice little carry case like a little pouch to take with you so

have quick start about charging pairing and then just enjoying them these

we'll tap in that play button will launch Siri coming back let's play and

we can listen and enjoy our music straight away so you can like I said

simultaneously connect this to another device as well and you can swap and

change the different music you're listening to or Netflix or anything

Once again President Donald Trump makes history!

"Make America Great Again!" was not just a slogan!

Although our economy was supposed to grow at best at a 2.5% rate, and even though we

have had two devastating hurricanes, the economy went on to grow a whole 3% during the third

quarter of the fiscal year.

The Trump Administration also went on to add 1,405,000 jobs in their first eight months

of Trump presidency.

By contrast, Former President Barack Hussein Obama had lost 4,367,000 jobs in his first

eight months in office.

Not even CNBC could lie about this news:

First reading on third-quarter GDP up 3.0%, vs 2.5% rise expected.

The U.S. economy unexpectedly maintained a brisk pace of growth in the third quarter

as an increase in inventory investment, and a smaller trade deficit offset a hurricane-related

slowdown in consumer spending and a decline in construction.

Gross domestic product increased at a 3.0 percent annual rate in the July-September

period after expanding at a 3.1 percent pace in the second quarter, the Commerce Department

said on Friday.

The department said while it was impossible to estimate the overall impact of hurricanes

Harvey and Irma on third-quarter GDP, preliminary estimates showed that the back-to-back storms

had caused losses of $121.0 billion in privately owned fixed assets, and $10.4 billion in government-owned

fixed assets.

Harvey and Irma struck parts of Texas and Florida in late August and early September.

Hurricane Maria, which destroyed infrastructure in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, had

no impact on third-quarter GDP growth as the islands are not included in the United State's

national accounts.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast the economy growing at a 2.5 percent pace

in the third quarter.

Excluding inventory investment, the economy grew at a 2.3 percent rate, slowing from the

second quarter's 2.9 percent pace.

With post-hurricane labor market, retail sales and industrial production data already showing

an acceleration in underlying economic activity, Friday's report will probably have no impact

on monetary policy in the near term.

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen cautioned last month that economic growth in the third

quarter "will be held down" by the severe disruptions caused by the hurricanes.

The U.S. central bank is expected to increase interest rates for a third time this year

in December.

The economic recovery since the 2007-2009 recession is now in its eighth year and showing

little signs of fatigue.

The economy is being powered by a tightening labor market, which has largely maintained

a strong performance that started during former President Barack Obama's first term.

Though U.S. stocks have risen in anticipation of President Donald Trump's tax reform,

the administration has yet to enact any significant new economic policies.

Trump wants big tax cuts and fewer regulations to boost annual GDP growth to 3 percent.

Inventory boost.

Businesses accumulated inventories at a $35.8 billion pace in the third quarter in anticipation

of strong demand.

As a result, inventory investment contributed 0.73 percentage point to third-quarter GDP

growth, after adding just over a tenth of a percentage point to growth in the prior

period.

Exports increased at a 2.3 percent rate in the third quarter, while imports fell at a

0.8 percent pace.

That left a smaller trade deficit, leading to trade adding 0.41 percentage point to GDP

growth.

Trade has contributed to output for three quarters in a row.

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, which hurt incomes and undercut retail sales in August, crimped

consumer spending in the third quarter.

Growth in consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds of the U.S. economy,

slowed to a 2.4 percent rate following a robust 3.3 percent pace in the second quarter.

The storms also weighed on investment in nonresidential structures like oil and gas wells.

Spending on mining exploration, wells and shafts grew at a 21.7 percent rate, decelerating

from the second-quarter's 116.3 percent pace.

As result, spending on residential structures fell at a 5.2 percent pace in the third quarter

after rising at a 7.0 percent rate in the second quarter.

Investment in home building, which was already undermined by land and labor shortages, also

took a hit from Harvey and Irma.

Spending on residential construction declined at a 6.0 percent rate, contracting for a second

straight quarter.

Business investment on equipment rose at an 8.6 percent rate, increasing for a fourth

straight quarter.

Government investment fell for a third straight quarter.

President Trump has delivered on every promise he has made.

The economy is back.

Illegals crossing our border is down by 74%.

The wall is being built.

Regulations are being destroyed.

All this without the help of the GOP or the Democrats, who are there to just stand in

his way every step of the way and put out lies about him and his administration.

Never did I dream that after 8 long dark years under the charlatan President Barack Hussein

Obama that we could be on track in less than a year.

We are now headed back to the America we were during the Reagan years.

The days when if you worked hard you could get ahead in life without help from the government

nor without the government impeding your progress.

It's Morning Again in America!

President Trump might very well go down as the best president in history.

And all it took was shunning interests on both sides of the aisle and doing what's

right for the American people.

Imagine after so many years of so many presidents doing what's right for every third world

two-bit cesspool, we have a president who actually cares Americans FIRST!

The sea lion can be seen hauling out on sandy beaches rocky beaches and rocky shores

They enjoy nutrient-rich waters. Where food is easy to obtain

How do you identify these animals if you see them in wild the stellar sea lion is the second largest of the eared seals

Only second to the walrus females grow to an average length of 8.2. Feet long and can weigh between 550 and

770 pounds

males become larger and can average 9 point 8 feet long weighing 900 to 2400 pounds

The males are sexually dimorphic

Having thicker necks with coarse fur high foreheads and blunt snouts

Stellar sea lions are lighter in coloration than the other sea lions. They can be light tan to reddish brown

Juvenile sea lions are dark in coloration can get lighter as they age

The eared seals or Otariids use a front flippers for propulsion through the water

true seals or phocids use their hind flippers for propulsion and pectoral flippers for steering the

Eared seals can bend their spine and are more flexible than true seals they use this flexibility as their means to turn sharply

Another interesting fact about eared seals is that they can bend their hind flippers up and underneath their body on land

This allows them to walk short distances

We discovered that stellar sea lions live close to the shore due to food constraints, so let's discover what sea lions eat

they feed on several species of fish including cod

rockfish

salmon herring

pollock capelin etc they feed on squid

octopus and bivalves when present

What threatens the stellar sea lion, I could only find human interactions that threaten the seal on

instances like boat strikes

pollution

fishermen using deterrents like guns or explosives and

overfishing

Overfishing of fatty fishes that causes the sea lions to shift their diets to non fatty fish

This causes a problem for building insulation of blubber in the cold water

the IUCN Red List has the stellar sea lion as endangered the populations have been declining since the

1970s so

A day trip to BELOKURIKHA RESORT: ALTAI MOUNTAINS, RUSSIA - Duration: 18:38.

Lot of snow on the road

I am in Altai Krai province

I wanted to visit the Altai Mountains

The temperature is -3 degree celsius right now

I am enjoying the vistas

WHAT AM I? INDONESIAN WEGENE ANCESTRY RESULTS! - Duration: 4:49.

and welcome to The Lukmi Show.

In today's video I'm going to show you my Wegene results.

So a while back I uploaded a video of myself

showing you guys the results of my AncestryDNA test.

You can watch the video up here somewhere.

There's a link to it

and also there's a link in the description.

After I uploaded that video

I got comments and messages from people

telling me to upload my AncestryDNA raw data to Wegene.

Wegene is a Chinese based DNA company

and apparently they're more specific

when it comes to Asian ethnicities

and they break it down a bit more further.

Okay let's go.

Let's start this.

I have a piece of paper here with all my results.

So let's start of with the grouping

that I'm most part of.

So according to Wegene results

I am 70.73% Chinese

however when you click on it

it breaks it down further.

33.28% is under the label Gaoshan

which includes the indigenous tribes of Taiwan:

The Amis and Atayal.

The Amis and Atayal are Austronesian tribes

and one-third of me matches to them.

Southern Han Chinese is 26.69%.

I think I gotta book a trip China hey?

I'm gonna see where my ancestors are from.

The Dai tribe: 5.56%.

The Lahu tribe: 4.78%.

The next major category is Southeast Asia.

I'm 8.23% Cambodian.

I'm 7.79% Kinh.

I had to look this up.

I think it's just another name for the Vietnamese people.

So the results here could show

that my ancestors weren't only going through the Taiwan route.

They were also going through peninsula Southeast Asia route too.

Going down I pick up Oceanian.

I'm 7.65% Papuan.

My ethnicity is Buginese.

It's a tribe that inhabits Southern Sulawesi

and they call themselves To Ogi or Bugis.

The Buginese people are known to have traded

with the Aboriginal people of northern Australia.

Do you think that maybe I have an ancestor

from that history with contact with the Aboriginal people

or do you think that maybe it's just a remnant

of the original inhabitants of what is now Indonesia

before Austronesians came?

Sulawesi is also kinda in the transitional zone

between Melanesia and Asia

so it could be because of that too.

The last major group I'm going to be visiting

is the South Asian group.

I have uploaded my results to DNA.land

and also GEDMatch

but maybe in the future I'll make a video on them too.

So 4.44% of me is from South Asia

and 4.12% is Bengali.

I'm not too surprised with this

because India has had lots of historical contact with Indonesia

So yes these are the groups that make me.

It's time to visit more of Asia to get to know my peoples.

I would love to know other Wegene results

of people from Sulawesi and eastern Indonesia

because I want to know if the results here

are just the typical snapshot

of the typical Buginese person

or could it be that there are

some more recent ancestors

who mixed around and travelled

and liked the taste of different peoples.

I know I'll never know the full story

but this is a great start to get a snapshot

of what I'm made of.

DO VEGANS GET ENOUGH PROTEIN? - Duration: 2:47.

When we switch from an omnivorous diet to a vegetarian or vegan diet,

usually, one of the main concerns is not taking enough protein.

and we look for high protein foods, and we try to figure out where do we get our protein.

I would like to reassure you and tell you that vegan and vegetarian diets have enough protein.

I want to tell you that we have a scientific study that goes back a few years ago, in the USA

where the accounts of 30,000 omnivores, 20,000 vegetarians and 5,000 vegans were compared

to evaluate their nutritional profiles and see if there was some nutritional deficiency

And they see that all three groups got enough protein

Even vegan and vegetarian, indeed they got more than they need

on average had 70% more.

compared to the average requirement of 42 g of protein per day,

Surprisingly no protein deficiency was observed in the population

only in a small group, less than 3% of the population could not cover the protein requirment

and they were people who ate extreme calorie-restricted diets.

in scientific literature you will find the protein deficiencies always associated with exterm calorie-restricted dites

so be careful do not eat too few calories

this is the only recommendation

as long as you cover your caloric needs with a plant base diet, you will also cover your protein requirements.

However, there is, a nutrient for which the most part of the people were deficient,

a nutrient lacking in all Western diets

and this nutrient is the fibers.

A lack of fiber is associated with a higher rate of chronic diseases such as cardiopathy, hypertension, diabetes, and some types of cancer.

So don't be worried about where you can get your proteins but where you can get your fibers.

Many people think they can find fibres everywhere, but actually fibers are only in plants.

Meat, eggs and dairy do not contain fibers.

only in fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, in plant based foods.

increase your fibers intake

because the minimum requirement recommended is 31.5 g and on average we take 15 g per day.

less than the half the minimum

So increase the fiber intake and do it gradually or you will have some intestinal problem.

My name is Amy Sturkey.

I am a pediatric physical therapist.

I am here with my friend, Myla, who is my co-instructor.

She helps/specializes in teaching how to treat children with low tone.

In the last video, I mentioned that her legs were going wild.

So, I did a minor modification with my legs.

I tucked one of my legs in a little further than the other leg.

With that I have been able to get her on her hands and knees.

I've got her hands underneath her shoulders.

So, she is in kind of a hands and knees-ish position.

Oh goodness.

She says, "I don't know about all of this.

This is hard."

Uh-huh.

There you go.

You are doing just fine.

So I am working on hands and knees and rocking this time.

Rock her forward and back and side to side.

If I had a toy in front of us, it would encourage more head up behavior.

Ok, ok, ok.

We got it.

Myla says, "That is enough of that!"
