Nathaniel Clyne's eventual return will provide key boost to Liverpool options
Nathaniel Clyne is nearing a return from injury after seven months on the sidelines, with the England right-back poised to boost Liverpools options.
Clyne has not set foot onto a pitch since the Reds 4-0 pre-season win away to Tranmere Rovers in July, when he made a 45-minute outing as captain.
The 26-year-old was initially struggling with a hamstring problem, before suffering a back injury that required surgery in November, ruling him out for a further three months.
But after being named in Liverpools revised squad for the knockout stages of the Champions League, Clyne is part of the 25-man group to travel to Marbella for warm-weather training this week.
This is a major step forward for Clyne, who can join full training for the first time since the summer, with a view to reclaiming his first-team role under Jurgen Klopp.
Clynes prolonged absence was something of a mystery in the first months of the season, with Klopp giving little indication as to his ailments while he gave opportunities to two youngsters.
Both Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold have performed well as right-back stand-ins, with the former establishing himself as the Reds most reliable option, blending defensive solidity with an improving forward thrust.
Meanwhile Alexander-Arnold has grasped his opportunities when afforded them, bringing his tally of appearances for the club up to 30 despite only turning 19 in October.
The pair offer Klopp different outlets in a role long considered a problem area for the Reds, and on face value right-back can now be considered in safe hands.
But Clynes impact on the side since his £12.
5 million move from Southampton in 2015 cannot be undersold: the Stockwell native was the solution Anfield had waited for.
The antithesis to Glen Johnson, Clyne is a defence-first right-back adept both in the air and on the ground, with the relentless energy and pace required to operate in Klopps attacking system.
In two seasons he featured 93 times for Liverpool, playing more minutes than any of his outfield team-mates in both 2015/16 (4,661) and 2016/17 (3,616).
Speaking towards the end of 2016, Clyne revealed Klopps nickname for him: machine, due to his endurance levels and, prior to this current layoff, his impeccable fitness.
He was also tussling with Kyle Walker for a starting role for England, and though he only played once at Euro 2016, he was named Man of the Match in that 0-0 draw with Slovakia and arguably should have kept his place against Iceland in the last 16.
Given the extent of his fitness issues this term, it has been largely overlooked how reliable a candidate he is for both club and country and, encouragingly, he is still only 26.
His injury woes have seen some consign him to the scrapheap, but an eventual return for Clyne could see Klopps options improve.
It must be noted that right-back is not a natural role for either Gomez or Alexander-Arnold; the former has his sights set on a centre-back berth and the latter was brought up as a No.
Their performances this season have confounded that perception, but that should only prove to heighten anticipation for their respective moves into more comfortable duties.
Gomezs shift to a central defensive role is the most likely in the short term, with neither Joel Matip or Dejan Lovren convincing as regular partners for Virgil van Dijk.
Though his senior experience at centre-back is minimal, Gomez proved his ability to shine in the position as he successfully shackled Neymar on his first start for England in Novembers 0-0 draw with Brazil.
Given he is right-sided, Gomez could be considered a long-term option alongside the left-sided Van Dijk, and Clynes return could facilitate this.
Though his own transition will likely be more protracted, the prospect of Alexander-Arnold taking over as Klopps No.
6 in the future is an interesting one.
I always put Trent at 6.
Why? Because every attack he is the main guy, the pivot, the lighthouse of the team, guiding the rest, former Liverpool U16s coach Pepijn Lijnders recalled last year.
The teenagers stint at right-back could be considered an apprenticeship, developing on a physical level as he gets to grips with the demands of a more defensive outlook.
Bulked up and with a better view of the senior game, Alexander-Arnold could become Liverpools lighthouse at the base of the midfield, usurping the ill-fitting Jordan Henderson.
This is a long way in the future, however, and remaining backup to Klopps first-choice right-back, either Gomez or Clyne, will be useful.
The possibility of Clyne resuming duties as the leading man on the right-hand side of Liverpools defence has been met with criticism of his attacking input.
But more often than not this season Klopps right-back has been more reserved, with either Andrew Robertson or Alberto Moreno instead providing the primary wide outlet from left-back.
This has suited Gomez, and it would no doubt suit Clyne, ensuring the Reds retain the balance that has seen gradual improvement at the back.
Travelling with the rest of the Liverpool squad to Marbella is no indicator of Clynes imminent return, of course, and it is unlikely he will come back into the fold in the near future.
However he can now be considered a valuable option for Klopp again, and one who could help oversee a long-term power shift in the Reds defence.

A 25-man Liverpool squad will head to Marbella for a training camp following Wednesday nights Champions League last-16 tie with Porto.
The Reds take on their Portuguese opponents in the first leg of their knockout clash in midweek, with their next fixture coming 10 days later at home to West Ham.
Provided a lengthy break ahead of the Premier League run-in, Jurgen Klopp and his backroom staff are looking to take advantage.
The club announced the squad heading out for warm-weather training on Tuesday afternoon, including Nathaniel Clyne, who is yet to feature this season due to injury.
Youngsters Kamil Grabara and Ben Woodburn are included, while Joe Gomez will also travel as he works his way back from a knee injury.
Emre Can will also fly out to Portugal, but the midfielder is unavailable against Porto as he observes a one-match European suspension.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds will spend four days in Marbella, travelling to Spain on Thursday before heading back to Merseyside on Monday for further preparations.
Klopp has regularly utilised breaks in the seasons schedule to take a break from Melwood, including a short rest period in Dubai last month.
And the hope will be Liverpool return refreshed ahead of another crucial league clash on February 24.

I must say that it is an interesting theory and it is much better than any other theories that I have come across.

You know that guy who seems like he's good at everything without even trying?
This guy's all that and a bag of crisps.
[Intro]
Fresh out of a prentice ship, one Isambard Kingdom Brunel sets to work on the most ambitious
engineering project in London because his father was chief engineer.
Nepotism for the win!
His father did most of the work on this one, he also invented the tunneling shield which
was super helpful except for the multiple occasions where the tunnel flooded killing
numerous workers and nearly killing Isambard.
This was to be the beginning of a trend for Brunel, see if you can spot what I mean.
Brunel's now a freelance engineer, and opportunity comes knocking when the lovely town of Clifton
sponsors a contest asking for bridge designs.
Not just any old bridge, mind you, but the longest spanning bridge in the world (when
it was announced - Switzerland broke the record before this one was finished), built over
a two hundred and fifty foot deep gorge.
Now Isambard had absolutely no experience with bridges, but that didn't stop him from
entering four different designs.
And the winner was… nobody!
The judge decided he'd make the bridge himself.
But luckily for Isambard, Parliament passed an act allowing for the bridge to be made
out of wrought iron instead of stone, so he produced a fifth design that would cost twenty
percent less.
By this point plans were already in motion to make the other guy's bridge, but the
thing is Isambard wasn't just an engineer.
He was also a terrific PR manager.
He got the press behind his new design and eventually a new competition was held and
the winner was some other guy, so Isambard had a little chat with the judges behind closed
doors and oh look he won the contest!
Of course, a two hundred and fifty foot deep gorge makes getting materials from one side
of it to the other pretty difficult, considering there's no bridge to drive stuff over,
so instead they hauled things over in a basket suspended by a little iron bar.
The workers, perhaps informed of the death toll on Brunel's previous project, were
a little wary to give it a go, so Brunel climbs in like "Right, you barmy, pigeon-hearted,
lily-livered pansies, look here, nothing's going to go… right.".
A normal person would have waited for assistance, but spotting an opportunity for a publicity
stunt, Brunel climbed out, undid the rope, and carried on his merry way, right into his
next project: reshaping the British rail network.
Railways, as you might recall, were kind of a big deal for the industrial revolution,
anybody who was anybody had railways.
But although cargo trains had really taken off, passenger trains were a little bumpy,
so someone needed to fix that.
Now Isambard had absolutely no experience with railways, but that didn't stop him
from becoming chief engineer.
He wanted his railway to be smooth and fast, so he spared no expense avoiding hills.
Need to avoid a slight gradient to shave a few seconds off travel time?
Build a viaduct!
Gotta cross the river Thames but want to keep your bridge level with the rest of the track?

Yeah, the railway ended up costing three times what he said it would and working on that
tunnel turned out to be more dangerous than fighting in the trenches, but the railway.
Was.
Perfect.
Then with a perfect railway to his name, he decided to get into ship building.
Now...
Isambard had absolutely no experience with ships, but that didn't stop him from building
the first purpose-built regular transatlantic steamship slash largest passenger ship in
the world!
Actually another ship made the trip first since the Great Western was delayed when it
caught fire and nearly killed Brunel, but the other ship was slower and the crew had
to burn all its furniture and one of its masts to make it to New York so I think we know
who the real winner is.
That fire, by the way, was actually the second time Isambard nearly killed himself working
on this ship.
There was that other time when he took it for a ride to test the engine, broke a ladder
rung, and fell twenty feet… onto a soft fleshy landing pad.
I'm pretty sure that's a bingo.
Soon enough there was demand for a sister ship, so Isambard created the largest ship
in the world and made it the first transatlantic steam ship to be made of iron and use a propeller,
just for kicks.
And his investors told him "Uh… we, we were just hoping for another big paddle boat,
this, this is… did you just end the age of transatlantic paddle boats?"
He did, and only five years after starting the age of transatlantic paddle boats.
I have no basis for saying this, but that's kind of like if five years after the wright
brothers created heavier-than-air flight they also invented the jet.
And there was only one brother.
There was just one problem.
Marvelous as his new ship was, it wasn't exceedingly viable economically.
It took some damage after only five transatlantic trips and the company didn't have the money
to repair it, presumably on account of you-know-who, so it was sold, sent on trips to Australia,
and eventually left to sit in the Falkland islands and rot for the next century.
But Brunel decided that if the world didn't have a good use for the world's largest
ship, he would fix the issue by making it no longer the world's largest ship so he
started building another ship that was twice as long.
Needless to say, money was tight, workers had some happy little accidents, but this
time it didn't really pay off.
No one quite knew what to do with a ship that big, like it's fine when you go whole hog
in Minecraft or Sim City, but in real life the rule of cool doesn't always save your
skin, it's why we could be setting up a space colony right now, but no that's stupidly
expensive, you need to invent something practical, like a cost efficient rocket that will make
space colonies cheaper.
Anyway, it ended up becoming a giant billboard and broken up for scrap.
Brunel died before he could see it torn apart, but he also died before he could see it set
sail at all, and after all those mishaps it ended up being a stroke, so his life and career,
which had been one boom after another, both ended with a fizzle.
Well that was disappointing, couldn't he have gone out in an explosion on his ship
or died choking on a coin or something?
Jeez, now I just feel all sappy.
Ah well, Elon Musk is still around.

Escape from Tarkov 's Shocking Netcode Analysis - Duration: 9:10.
Hi my name is Chris and this is Battle(non)sense
Today we will take a look at the netcode of Escape from Tarkov which is currently in beta.
Now while I always do my best to keep my netcode analysis videos as simple as possible,
you will still need to have some basic knowledge about computer networking, tick rates,
update rates, network models, super bullets, lag compensation, packet loss and a few other
things like how I do my network delay tests.
So, to keep the netcode analysis videos as short as possible, I have put all this information
into a separate "Netcode 101" video, which you should have watched at least once,
before you continue with this video here.
The card overlay in the top right corner as well as the link in the description down below
will both take you directly to that video.
So, first of all Escape from Tarkov uses dedicated game servers, and when you pre-order the game
to get instant access to the beta, then you can choose between 3 different regions.
CIS that's Russia and post-soviet states or former USSR states.
A not very specific 'other' region.
And Europe.
Make sure that you select the correct region, because when you select 'CIS' or 'other',
then you are locked to that region and you cannot launch the game outside of the one
you selected.
However, the matchmaker does not choose the game server based on the region you selected,
nor does the game client send a ping to the data center's or ping-sites to find the
best region for you.
Instead it takes your WAN IP address to determine your location and assigns you to a server
region based on that information.
In that process it completely ignores that you might have a much better ping to servers
in a different region.
The reason why I know about this is that my internet service provider recently bought
new IPv4 addresses, that were previously used in Australia and other countries.
They did update the location info for these IP addresses, but it takes those websites
and services quite some time to refresh their databases, and so I was suddenly no longer
located in Austria, but either Lithuania or Australia, depending on which service you asked.
And don't worry, this is not my public WAN IP address anymore.
So as a direct result of Escape from Tarkov using that information instead of sending
a ping to the data centers, I got placed on servers in Asia or Australia
to which I had a ping of more than 300ms as you can see here in the top right corner.
Luckily my internet service provider could change my WAN IP address very quickly, and
so I could get on with the netcode test on servers hosted in Germany.
So, what ping did I have during my tests.
When you use the console command drawfps 1, then this enables an overlay with lots of info.
The first one is the FPS cap which shows 120 and cannot be changed by the player.
However, while a FPS limit of 120 does negatively affect the player to player delay,
it's not really an issue at the moment, as the game is very poorly optimized, which leads
to frame rates well below 120 even on higher end PC's.
The next 2 elements then show the current frame rate and average frame rate.
Then we have a few more values here where I am honestly not sure about what they mean exactly,
or how these affect your online experience.
But I will put a link in the description down below where you can find an explanation of some sort.
The last few elements are very interesting, as these show us the send rate of the client,
the send rate of the server,
as well as the round trip time, or ping between the client
and the server.
However, the round trip time that you see here is most likely based on the gamedata
that is sent and received by the game, as an ICMP ping to the game server shows lower
and more stable results.
When I then artificially increase the ping of my client, then this will not only increase
the RTT value inside the overlay,
it will also trigger the latency warning in the top right corner.
And when the ping exceeds 120ms, then the text will turn red to warn the player that
his ping is too high.
Now, while I highly appreciate that the developers made this info available, there is sadly no
packet loss indicator yet, nor is there any info about the server performance.
Both would be very useful for the player.
Besides the ping, the client's frame rate also has an impact on the network delay.
As you can see here, the send rate of the client drops to 5Hz when I reduce the
frame rate to 30FPS.
Now what are the average update rates of Escape from Tarkov.
I used wireshark to capture my network data of multiple matches, on different days.
And the results were actually quite good.
As you can see here in this graph, the client sends an average 68 updates per second to the server.
And receives 93 updates per second on average from the server.
So these are very high update rates which usually indicate very low network delays and
more internet traffic.
With an upload of 14.2 MegaBytes and a download of 61.31MegaBytes after one hour,
Escape from Tarkov needs more bandwidth than PUBG or Fortnite,
but that should not be a problem for most players as the upload is still very low.
Also, to avoid any misunderstanding, please know that the results here are not meant as
a rating, nor a ranking.
I just want to show you how much or little traffic these online multiplayer games generate.
So, as I said before, high update rates usually mean that a game has very low network delays.
But when I did my tests, I was simply shocked by how bad the network delays are between
2 players despite their ping of just 19ms to the gameserver and running the game at
120'ish frames per second, which is the frame rate limit of this game.
Again, please make sure that you watched my the Netcode 101 video to find out how I do
these network delay tests, as that is required to understand what these results mean for
your online experience.
So, I did these tests multiple times, on different days and different servers,
but the results were always very similar.
For damage I measured an average delay of nearly half a second, where the worst delay
was close to 900ms and the lowest delay was still more than 200ms.
So these delays literally break the design of my network chart as I did not anticipate
that I would ever encounter a game with such long delays.
The gunfire delay was better, but still way too long for a game with these update rates
and at player pings of just 19ms.
And the results for the player movement delays are just as shocking as the damage delays.
I mean you just have to look at this movement delay at player pings of 19ms.
In the 3 years that I have now been testing multiplayer games, I have never seen such
terrible network delays.
I mean I do understand that this game is still in beta, but not even PUBG had such horrible
network delays during its closed beta.
I don't know if this is down to the Unity engine that Escape from Tarkov is running on,
but that network delay isn't just one of those optimization problems that you must
expect from a beta.
There is something very wrong here that must be fixed as soon as possible.
With these delays at a ping of just 19ms and 120FPS,
it's no surprise that you die behind cover,
or die before you even see the enemy player.
I have also encountered an issue where I opened a door, and it took 5 seconds until it also
opened from the perspective of my other test player.
So there is not much more that I can say about the current state of this game,
besides that I'm shocked.
So that's how I originally intended to end the video.
But while Premiere was busy with the export of the video, I was contacted by one of the
netcode developers, who saw my tweets about my upcoming netcode analysis.
What I can tell you about our conversation is that they are currently preparing an update
to the latest stable version of the Unity engine, which should get rolled out during
the Open Beta.
And once that is done they will address those problems with the networking.
To me this sounds like a good plan, as an engine update can be a very big deal and might
even fix some of the issues already, so you really want to get that done first.
However, this does not change the current state of the game.
So, we must wait and see how fast they can not only improve the networking,
but also the overall performance of the game client.
And when they do, I will release an update video on the progress they made
so stay tuned for that.

Trump's Budget Cuts Trillions From Programs For The Needy To Pay For His Tax Cuts - Duration: 5:14.
On Monday, Donald Trump's budget for the year 2019 was revealed and it's just as horrible
as everybody would have imagined it would have been.
Now, first and foremost, to give the President a little bit of credit he actually did something
good with his budget, a very small piece of it, and that is the increase in infrastructure
spending here for the United States.
Contrary to what's been reported, it is not in fact going to be 1.4 or 1.5 trillion dollars,
it's more like 200 billion dollars.
Nonetheless, great start, something desperately needed through this country.
Unfortunately for the President, for every decent thing he does, which honestly I believe
this is the first decent thing the man's ever done, there's a million horrible things to
go along with it.
Because you see, rather than increasing taxes on the wealthy to pay for this infrastructure
plan, he has decided that we're going to cut social safety net programs in the United States
so that we can 1) pay for the infrastructure, and 2) we somehow have to pay for that massive
tax cut that we just gave corporations and billionaires.
So, I'm sorry poor people, I'm sorry people on public assistance, I'm cutting your benefits
because we have to give rich people money and I've got to do something about this infrastructure,
'cause I've been promising it for two years and I'm hoping maybe we'll actually spend
200 billion on it.
I have no problem whatsoever with the government spending that kind of money on infrastructure,
they should be spending more.
I do have a problem, however, with them taking it from the people in this country that need
it the most, while the people who have everything are getting more money back.
If you want to pay for that infrastructure plan, take it out of that tax cut money.
Say, "Look, I'm sorry, I glad you had a good two months of tax cuts, but we need to fix
our roads and our bridges and our water systems and everything else in this country, because
people are dying from it.
I don't care if you get a tax break, I don't care if you pay more in taxes, we're going
to fix this problem and it's coming out of your money, because you have benefited the
most from this system.
That's how it works."
Instead, here's what the President is cutting out of his budget, 266 billion dollars in
cuts to Medicare over the next 10 years.
213 billion dollars cut out of the snap food stamp program.
72 billion cut to disability programs.
72 billion cut to social security and a 1.1 trillion cut to Medicare, or excuse me, Medicaid,
over the next 10 years.
It also ends the Student Loan Debt Forgiveness Program, which is going to obviously disproportionately
affect the younger generations of Americans struggling to pay for college.
Those are the things that are being cut so that we can give the wealthy a tax break.
Paul Ryan was on Fox News last night and this morning defending this "entitlement cuts,"
as he calls them.
Well guess what jackasses?
Social security is an entitlement, you know why?
Because most of us in this country have been paying into that program since the first time
we ever started working.
Same thing with Medicaid and Medicare, we pay for that out of every single pay check.
How dare you cut that from these people?
They paid into it, it's basically a savings account.
They are entitled to that money, because it's their money.
So don't go on the media and tell us that, "Well we've got to cut these 'cause we've
got to reign in this debt, we've got to pay for this infrastructure plan," that I promise
you isn't going to happen anyway.
It's smoke and mirrors, because you know what at the same time, when he's proposed this
massive infrastructure cut, do you know what he's doing?
He also got funding for the Department of Energy, the Department of Transportation,
the two departments that are actually really in charge of infrastructure.
It's not going to happen.
What is going to happen is that the needy in this country are going to have their food
stamp benefits cut in half.
Even more children are going to go hungry.
Families are going to struggle to find food for days at a time.
The elderly are going to lose social security benefits, they're going to lose Medicare benefits.
Medicaid coverage is going to fall to the point where children cannot go get vaccinations.
They can't go to the doctor when they're sick.
We're going to see more deaths among American citizens because of these cuts and it's all
100% because Donald Trump, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and every Republican in Washington
D.C., they don't care if we die, because they want to give more money to millionaires and
billionaires.
That's the bottom line.
That is what 100% of this is all about.

he mentioned, then don't worry because when I look back at pictures of myself, even I
cringe at the site of me posing in the mirror with a mismatched outfit and sunglasses on.
All that matters is that now you know, it's time to change that shit up and start dressing
well so people and girls take you more seriously.

Unless you're a barber from the 1900s, don't grow a mustache.

I'm talking about having a creep-stache which is just a mustache with no other facial
hair.
There are VERY few people who can actually pull it off, so just assume you're not one
of those people.
Besides, if you're younger you won't be able to grow thick enough facial hair in that
area anyways and you'll just end up looking creepy.
You wanna make sure that if you do have facial hair, that it's well-kept and and clean
looking, not scruffy and scary looking.
At the same time, if you're going for a clean-shaven look, you want it to be nice and clean, not
having stubble of varying lengths all over your face and neck like you're 11 years old
and just got your first razor for Christmas.

Again, this is something I should NOT have to tell you but I still see so many young
guys going out and about their business wearing flip flops and showing off their disgusting

And TRUST ME, nothing is more unattractive than being able to see into someone's soul
through their disgusting toe nails or foot hair, you're better off just not wearing
flip flops at all, and saving them for the beach.
If you just have to wear slip ons, there are tons of better options, like Toms, espadrilles,
driving shoes, and slip-on canvas sneakers.
#5 Sweater Vests.
Again, I absolutely cannot believe I still see people wearing these sometimes.
Are ... you ... fucking ... serious.
Wearing a sweater vest is the EASIEST way to make yourself look like you're coming
out of a Children's Place catalog, and unless you're 7 years old OR 70 years old, then
you wanna avoid sweater vests at all costs.
They scream obligatory christmas card outfit and just give you that younger brother vibe,
so unless you're trying to get the whole "you're like a brother to me" text,
then stay the HELL away from sweater vests.

Getting attached way too easily.
Bro.
Seriously.
This is even worse than wearing 3 sweater vests and a pair of flip flops at the same
time.
You know those guys who talk to a girl like ONE TIME and now they're so into her that
they're checking all her social media, texting her all the time, and not even trying to talk
to any other girls because they think they've already found "the one"?
For Zeus's sake, bro, STOP IT!
Yeah, if you have a girlfriend, don't cheat on her.
But if you haven't hung out with that one girl multiple times already or if you aren't
even sure she's into you too, you absolutely should keep your options open.

Rest of them were some deck tests so got low scores
If you guys didnt know last season i had 6110 cusp with 662 world rank
Im using Giant cycle for ladder
So here were result off meta test
These are last battles i played
You can see many even had anti decks
its hard to beat them but yeah not impossible
This pekka deck is really awesome if you see
I even faced Gregor today

He was using miner poison cycle which seems to work now
I will show my match with gregor soon,First lets check game agianst golem
I decided to use pekka as i saw many using golem
you can see last 12 match i faced least 4 golem decks
in my previous challenges i was using decks which can never beat golem,And everytime i faced golem with it.
match making system is not very cool to be honest
this match was againts golem rocket combo user
you gotta makesure he cant build a pump
or he will build a push and smash you
so keep playing ram cycle dont show pekka
use pekka only for defence
the guards helped him a lot
we cant let him create a push so i had to put that ram to distract
and things went as i wanted it to
try not to let golem burst near your tower
use royal ghost combos
we shall keep on making pressure
you can use poison to stop big push
he even had rocket LOL
in sudden death you must hurry and get his tower no matter what
as golem have advantage at overtime
this was heavy pump and we can get his tower easily since he placed golem he cant defend
we gonna make it there with ram
do you see that pink thing there ,WoW
anyways lets just play it
lets check another one
he was so great he could stop my pump easily
i really enjoyed playing with him
tough match tho
i really learned a lot
basically he was doing small damages as he can cycle miner back again
and i was trying to stop it
he gave me no time to push
and when i did i run short of elixer to stop his miner
you can see how he defends
he was taking advantage of inferno tower and countering me
i just tried to do max damage in his tower
he continously plays miner
i was on lead but not for long
see here he comes again
i knew i had to use my posion to get his tower
and guys playing pekka would be a really bad move in that situation
i played it and had to pay for what i did
my tower was almost over and he can finish it within seconds
it was hard matchup
lets check one more game
this guy was using new 3 musk deck
but it was off meta
and we had anti deck
so we could easily get him
but i didnt knew he had zappies
it didnt make much of a difference
always remember when you face 3 musk deck you should break his elixer collector and not let him play it again
like this he wont be able to cycle and he looses
always try to get his tower in first 2 mins
and play defence in last min
so i just followed those tricks to win
look at those zappies
we can use royal ghost to get all 3 of them
he even had lumberjack
his deck was not balanced
but still we had pekka to kill 3 musk
so we had the advantage
we almost got his tower there
we even got his other tower near death
we can throw a log to kill it
we will get both the towers
that was a easy win

It's late, after 3 pm, so I have to hurry up
I'm wearing snowshoes, so I hope they are going to work out
Hi! Today is my second day on the trail
It's really hard, it was raining yesterday
Snow was very wet and heavy, was sticking to my snowshoes, I was postholing up to my knees at least
I made it to Saarijärvi hut in the evening
It was frosty this morning so the snow is a little bit harder
But my footprins are deep anyways
Nobody hiked on this trail recently
I'll see how it goes, there is a campsite on the way so probably I'll end up there

It was terrible yesterday
I was fighting through some sections where the trees were all cut, lots of snow there, it was up to my waist
I passed the campite as it was still early and camped here, on a snowmobile track
The snow was harder here and I pitched my tarp
It was raining in the evening, kind of wet snow that melted later
I have drops of water frozen on the tarp, everything is a bit damp
It's really hard so I think I have around 5 km to the road
From where I'll try to hitch to the other end of Peuranpolku

One good thing is that I found a little pudle with liquid water, so I didn't have to melt snow

I knocked on the door and this nice lady let me in, it's pretty luxurious!
I have some freeze-dried pasta bolognese and tea ready to drink

And the next day I'll go back here
I have to catch the bus to Kokkola the following day and the next one to Turku
Back on the Peuranpolku, but not for long, the hut is not far away
I'm in Sysilampi hut, it's close to the road and it wasn't hard to get here and I got a ride to the parking place
I have a fire, it's nice and warm
I'm not alone, another hiker Heikko is also here

Escape from Tarkov 's Shocking Netcode Analysis - Duration: 9:10.Hi my name is Chris and this is Battle(non)sense
Today we will take a look at the netcode of Escape from Tarkov which is currently in beta.
Now while I always do my best to keep my netcode analysis videos as simple as possible,
you will still need to have some basic knowledge about computer networking, tick rates,
update rates, network models, super bullets, lag compensation, packet loss and a few other
things like how I do my network delay tests.
So, to keep the netcode analysis videos as short as possible, I have put all this information
into a separate "Netcode 101" video, which you should have watched at least once,
before you continue with this video here.
The card overlay in the top right corner as well as the link in the description down below
will both take you directly to that video.
So, first of all Escape from Tarkov uses dedicated game servers, and when you pre-order the game
to get instant access to the beta, then you can choose between 3 different regions.
CIS that's Russia and post-soviet states or former USSR states.
A not very specific 'other' region.
And Europe.
Make sure that you select the correct region, because when you select 'CIS' or 'other',
then you are locked to that region and you cannot launch the game outside of the one
you selected.
However, the matchmaker does not choose the game server based on the region you selected,
nor does the game client send a ping to the data center's or ping-sites to find the
best region for you.
Instead it takes your WAN IP address to determine your location and assigns you to a server
region based on that information.
In that process it completely ignores that you might have a much better ping to servers
in a different region.
The reason why I know about this is that my internet service provider recently bought
new IPv4 addresses, that were previously used in Australia and other countries.
They did update the location info for these IP addresses, but it takes those websites
and services quite some time to refresh their databases, and so I was suddenly no longer
located in Austria, but either Lithuania or Australia, depending on which service you asked.
And don't worry, this is not my public WAN IP address anymore.
So as a direct result of Escape from Tarkov using that information instead of sending
a ping to the data centers, I got placed on servers in Asia or Australia
to which I had a ping of more than 300ms as you can see here in the top right corner.
Luckily my internet service provider could change my WAN IP address very quickly, and
so I could get on with the netcode test on servers hosted in Germany.
So, what ping did I have during my tests.
When you use the console command drawfps 1, then this enables an overlay with lots of info.
The first one is the FPS cap which shows 120 and cannot be changed by the player.
However, while a FPS limit of 120 does negatively affect the player to player delay,
it's not really an issue at the moment, as the game is very poorly optimized, which leads
to frame rates well below 120 even on higher end PC's.
The next 2 elements then show the current frame rate and average frame rate.
Then we have a few more values here where I am honestly not sure about what they mean exactly,
or how these affect your online experience.
But I will put a link in the description down below where you can find an explanation of some sort.
The last few elements are very interesting, as these show us the send rate of the client,
the send rate of the server,
as well as the round trip time, or ping between the client
and the server.
However, the round trip time that you see here is most likely based on the gamedata
that is sent and received by the game, as an ICMP ping to the game server shows lower
and more stable results.
When I then artificially increase the ping of my client, then this will not only increase
the RTT value inside the overlay,
it will also trigger the latency warning in the top right corner.
And when the ping exceeds 120ms, then the text will turn red to warn the player that
his ping is too high.
Now, while I highly appreciate that the developers made this info available, there is sadly no
packet loss indicator yet, nor is there any info about the server performance.
Both would be very useful for the player.
Besides the ping, the client's frame rate also has an impact on the network delay.
As you can see here, the send rate of the client drops to 5Hz when I reduce the
frame rate to 30FPS.
Now what are the average update rates of Escape from Tarkov.
I used wireshark to capture my network data of multiple matches, on different days.
And the results were actually quite good.
As you can see here in this graph, the client sends an average 68 updates per second to the server.
And receives 93 updates per second on average from the server.
So these are very high update rates which usually indicate very low network delays and
more internet traffic.
With an upload of 14.2 MegaBytes and a download of 61.31MegaBytes after one hour,
Escape from Tarkov needs more bandwidth than PUBG or Fortnite,
but that should not be a problem for most players as the upload is still very low.
Also, to avoid any misunderstanding, please know that the results here are not meant as
a rating, nor a ranking.
I just want to show you how much or little traffic these online multiplayer games generate.
So, as I said before, high update rates usually mean that a game has very low network delays.
But when I did my tests, I was simply shocked by how bad the network delays are between
2 players despite their ping of just 19ms to the gameserver and running the game at
120'ish frames per second, which is the frame rate limit of this game.
Again, please make sure that you watched my the Netcode 101 video to find out how I do
these network delay tests, as that is required to understand what these results mean for
your online experience.
So, I did these tests multiple times, on different days and different servers,
but the results were always very similar.
For damage I measured an average delay of nearly half a second, where the worst delay
was close to 900ms and the lowest delay was still more than 200ms.
So these delays literally break the design of my network chart as I did not anticipate
that I would ever encounter a game with such long delays.
The gunfire delay was better, but still way too long for a game with these update rates
and at player pings of just 19ms.
And the results for the player movement delays are just as shocking as the damage delays.
I mean you just have to look at this movement delay at player pings of 19ms.
In the 3 years that I have now been testing multiplayer games, I have never seen such
terrible network delays.
I mean I do understand that this game is still in beta, but not even PUBG had such horrible
network delays during its closed beta.
I don't know if this is down to the Unity engine that Escape from Tarkov is running on,
but that network delay isn't just one of those optimization problems that you must
expect from a beta.
There is something very wrong here that must be fixed as soon as possible.
With these delays at a ping of just 19ms and 120FPS,
it's no surprise that you die behind cover,
or die before you even see the enemy player.
I have also encountered an issue where I opened a door, and it took 5 seconds until it also
opened from the perspective of my other test player.
So there is not much more that I can say about the current state of this game,
besides that I'm shocked.
So that's how I originally intended to end the video.
But while Premiere was busy with the export of the video, I was contacted by one of the
netcode developers, who saw my tweets about my upcoming netcode analysis.
What I can tell you about our conversation is that they are currently preparing an update
to the latest stable version of the Unity engine, which should get rolled out during
the Open Beta.
And once that is done they will address those problems with the networking.
To me this sounds like a good plan, as an engine update can be a very big deal and might
even fix some of the issues already, so you really want to get that done first.
However, this does not change the current state of the game.
So, we must wait and see how fast they can not only improve the networking,
but also the overall performance of the game client.
And when they do, I will release an update video on the progress they made
so stay tuned for that.

and today I will tell you some things about navigation and motion of our mobs in 8Suns.
as you can see on the screen
our example, Reaper, runs spiraling and avoid obstacles that lies on his way.
It is happens because he's moving on a special layer
called navmesh or navigation mesh.
It is the blue element on this recording.
We can turn it on and off in our editor.
When we move camera closer to obstacles, it turns out, that there is no navigation mesh close to the walls.
It means, that Reaper cannot
move in this area and skip them in calculations, that he needs to perform to find path in worldspace.
If we now move one of the objects,
lower for example
selected navigation mesh again and clicked "bake",
you will notice whole area becoming blue
and Reaper
choosing simpler and shorter path to target.
after configuration on a navigation mesh,
you can simply order a motion from action graph, our visual code editor that Jonatan told you about last week.
