Youtube daily report Feb 23 2018

How could that happen? Are you sure?

My friend gave me this address.

Well, sir, there's no event today as a college reunion.

You can call your friend again if you want.

You try, work hard, plan all the stuff to get a chance to stay in private,

then leave him with Süreyya!

This wasn't my plan!

What sin did I commit to get this?

There he is.

Mr. Kerem calling!

I'm not picking that up!

Have a nice romantic dinner, Mr. Kerem!

She's not picking up. She's fallen asleep, I think.

The dinner organization will take place next week, sir.

Oh...

Then she got the wrong date!

Oh, Parla...

She's been nagging me all day, for a dinner that's not even today.

Yikes...

You got yourself prepared for this.

We'll go home then, nothing much to do here.

Well, I have no thought of going back.

How's that?

Excuse me...

- Can you get us a table for two? - Sure thing, sir, right away.

What do you say?

Since we're already here,

let's have a fancy dinner, then we'll get back home.

I'm good with that.

Then, please, ma'am, you first.

Please, this way.

Thank you.

- Enjoy your dinner. I'll send the menu in a minute. - Alright.

Nice place. Luckily, no one here.

Yes.

I liked in here, too.

Look,

I've got the whole place for you.

What's the matter?

You look kinda nervous.

I'm not nervous, I feel sorry for Parla.

We're not supposed to have this dinner with you and me only.

Fine, but...

it was her who told me the wrong date.

I don't know...

- Then again... - Look.

Parla has planned a dinner for us.

Is it bad?

Let's think that way.

Besides,

I'm...

pretty content with the situation.

I mean, a lot.

How about you?

How to Transform your Sandals - Duration: 1:51.

[Tommie] Are you tired of your shoes? Renovate them! Today, I will show you how to transform a plain pair of sandals into

something more colorful and bohemian. Let's begin!

[Tommie] Materials: Tassels in assorted colors, charms with their rings,

a pair of strapped sandals, a cutting tool, pliers, and jewelry wire

[Tommie] The first thing we'll do is cut piece of wire, about 2 inches long and fold them in half.

Then, we will thread the loop of one tassel

and wrap the wire around on strap

of the sandal. At first, bend the wire using your fingers and then fasten it using the pliers.

Repeat the process with the charms, and

fasten them where you want them. Make sure to cut away any excess wire

You can buy ready-made tassels, or you can make them yourself.

The number of charms and tassels you use will depend in the type of sandal

and how many you want to apply.

Here is the final product. Remember, you can use different elements for a different look.

You can also renovate your high-heeled shoes with this simple technique.

AVOID TRON TRX SCAMS + NANO XRB MOONING! COIN PRICE PREDICTION 2018 (CRYPTOCURRENCY MARKET NEWS) - Duration: 18:11.

what's going on guys Patrick here bring you a brand new video today we have a

killer video for you guys this action can be packed full of information we're

going to talk about nano mooning we're gonna take a look at Bitcoin technical

analysis I don't do too much in depth chart analysis on this channel but we're

gonna look at some right now because a lot of you guys want to know when

Bitcoin it's going to start rising again as much as I covered it in previous

videos you guys I still get asked so I'm gonna keep answering the question the

best I can before we get started guys if you guys do want to see daily

cryptocurrency videos I'm gonna start doing two a day later today we actually

have another video an IC o---- review coming out so if you guys want to see

that make sure to hit the subscribe button and hit the bell icon next to it

to get notified every time we release a new video no I have not forgot the

10,000 subscriber special things that I have I have planned is coming I'm so

sorry that's taking forever we're almost at 11,000 at this point but still that

just means whatever it just hold on with me bear with me is gonna be good you

guys are gonna be happy there's gonna be a lot of chances to win a lot of really

really dope stuff so also if you guys want to plug in right here real quick if

you guys wanna go follow me on instagram at patrick racino 11 we're almost at 400

followers i don't post a lot but i need to start posting it more but if you guys

message me on there you'll probably get a response

pretty much instantly because i am trying to start using my Instagram as

much as possible so just want to plug that in there real quick now the rest of

the video only cryptocurrency related are props now I want to first start off

with something that you know is huge in cryptocurrency and a lot of people are

talking about and it honestly grows more and more every time and that is your

safety your safety your coin security your token security just your security

overall and that's because there's a lot of scam accounts out there here's some

example I took Tron because they just post about this and a lot of you guys

really like Tron I know that a lot of you guys also really don't like Tron but

still we're going to talk about innatron so the point being is make sure every

time you see a tweet or something and you're gonna see a lot especially on

Twitter of tweets such as if you send 500 Tron to this account we're gonna

send you back 5,000 shot and I like I said I've covered this before

in the eye on this channel but I want to make sure that you guys my 10,000 852

subscribers are all 100% safe so also make sure you share this video

around to other people to make sure they don't fall for this but make sure you

see the verification sign you know Tron has that not every if it's a small

cryptocurrency it's not gonna have that I understand but if the original

accounts have that make sure no matter what you see that the account you're

talking about also has this and make sure there's the correct spelling of the

username now examples they put down here is Tron Foundation spell with the one

has a six at the end one is just spelled incorrectly spelled found new Dacian

right that's not Foundation it's not how you

spell that and the third one says Tron underscore TRX zero zero so this is not

even close make sure you check the ID and make sure there's the verification

symbol on whatever Twitter account you are following because otherwise it is

not verified news it could be fun it could be a scam it could be a lot of

things so make sure you guys are safe and another quick way to look at it is

the followers you know Shawn's not gonna have an account like I guarantee you if

I were to click on here let see if I can do it real quick

if I click on here do we have a faith we have a scam post um I'm about I look

like a dumb there we go if I say I'm about it look dumb if it

isn't here we go instantly we found one and Tron foundation spell trow

Foundation does not this is nice belt right over 10 million Tron users we're

giving away one thousand at their um why would they give away theorem and not

drop a lot of them we're gonna say strong so don't fall for that either

to identify your address just send 0.4 to 0.9 aetherium to the address below

and get four to nine aetherium back to the address you used for the transaction

and then you click here to find it oh it's at least this person you know scams

detected they caught on twit but guys don't fall for that type of stuff you're

gonna see it all the time on every post now let's take a quick look

at the overall market cab there wasn't too much news so I'm not gonna cover

anything obviously there were news articles but nothing too crazy came out

however in the last 24 hours we are seeing some great amount of green and I

like that I like that you guys know we've had a rough week we had a great

week and then we had a rough week so if you guys see the last seven days percent

changed a lot of coins are in the red we're actually at a little bit under 450

billion dollar market cap Bitcoin dominance went down a little bit and

that is because you guys can see a lot of all coins are green so Bitcoin

dominance is gonna go down we were almost at 40% yesterday I believe it was

and that's because all alt corns were bleeding and bleeding hard Bitcoin

wasn't down to much was down a little bit but it wasn't down to much and then

now bitcoins up a little bit all the other all coins are up a lot more so

Bitcoin dominance is a little lower it's still not as low as we've seen it before

and you know the run we had previously for all coins of Bitcoin dominance we've

seen it and down to like 30 to 34 percent maybe that's gonna happen again

who knows depends on all coins decide they are going to moon but I'm looking

right here Neos still dropping a little bit up today every I mean most all

Quinn's up today except for Manero surprisingly enough who was holding out

so strong it's not down a lot though so I'm not too concerned but a neo man I

want to pick up more Neil but $119 is still not the cheapest

I think it's cheap for neo don't get me wrong but it's gonna be hard to pick up

you know 100 neo right now because that's like what ten thousand dollars

something like that not everyone has ten thousand dollars to just drop from their

bank account anyways the coin I wanted to talk about most today which we're

gonna get to in a little bit though nano and I'm gonna tell you guys how you can

identify this type of pump how you guys can identify this is going to happen and

yes it's up a ton it's up 41% 24 hours and bringing it to a total of 29 percent

in the last week Nano has been bleeding a lot but it is pumping it is pumping

hard right now and it wasn't too hard to predict this like I said I'm going to

show you guys why in just a second first just a quick

you guys know bitcoin we're gonna talk more about it after we talk about nano

so just want to share the graph because the cryptocurrency market as always does

follow bitcoins want to point out a little under 188 billion dollar market

cap you guys see we had the you know a little bit extra of a correction here

now we are looking like we're trying to move up our position but I'm still not

confident in that position just yet we need a few more days to you know see

more green and start to establish a general direction this is not enough to

judge anything by so still a lot of things up in the open for cryptocurrency

we're and see what's gonna happen but nano guys is up 42% one point six

billion dollar market cap it's almost up 50% all honestly it could you can look

at that graph just we saw it start to believe a little bit yesterday found

mistake in 21st yeah eight seven dollars and 22 cents now it's at $12 but

basically almost doubled if you take it from two days ago that's absolutely

ridiculous and I've been talking about nano and I've been you know I posted

even in the cryptocurrency Facebook group I posted nanos mooning and because

I was talking about it so much in so many videos saying that it was so cheap

and like I said we're gonna talk about it in just a second I just wanna point

out again the graph by Tom in the Facebook group I'm gonna leave a link to

that in the comments down below you guys can go check it out join the Facebook

group it's a great group ton of value and everyone in there is always up to

date with all the cryptocurrency news because that is the easiest place I can

just write a post and everyone can see it and other people can contribute

contribute as well we have a ton of people who know what they're talking

about guys a lot of people in the group know what they're talking about that

well know what they're talking about they've been in the cryptocurrency game

for some time and they're killing it they're crushing it with the posts and

Tom is one of them he's not the only one but he is definitely one of them that is

contributing a ton and if you guys want to know more about the graph guys I

talked about it in the previous video more in depth basically what we're

seeing right now the last week of read maybe it's gonna hold on a little bit

more we don't know how many more days we're currently right here and we're

hoping to enter the IV 3 or the 4th 3rd edition of the 4th car I don't know what

you guys want to call it calling a high V three we're gonna start

moving up here which is gonna be the bull run that tests and hopefully passes

all time highs according to this chart which is you know it's made up of a lot

of technical analysis I know it looks simple you know it kind of looks like it

was drawing on like paper like this but it wasn't it wasn't this is technical

analysis but just very simple looking technical analysis but its technical

analysis now I want to talk to you guys how you can identify a pump such as nano

and this isn't even a pump and dump don't get me wrong there's probably

gonna be a correction just because it moved up so much but this by no means a

pump and done so 1.6 billion dollar coin is very hard to get at 1.6 billion

dollar coin to pump to be a pump in dump because look at how much volume you need

it's two hundred thirteen million dollars of volume that is not an easy

pump for most people you they're better off going into you cash that was worth

nothing you know pump it there and all of a

sudden thing explodes and maymay everyone makes a lot of money except for

the one the people who fo mode and you know didn't know what they were

investing in but anyways how can we identify Nano so you guys know Nano is

rate blocks rebranded you know so can check out more rebranding information

over here it is just rate blocks now it's a great coin as a ton of potential

it was moving up steadily you know obviously every coin had a bad

February and January and February but this coin has a lot of potential because

of its transaction fees there's none and the speed of

transaction which is really really fast at legal is like five seconds something

like that crystal this coin doesn't have a ton of potential and I'm a big fan of

nano now what happened is nano got stolen from an exchange that got hacked

was that nanos fault no right the exchange got hacked that's not nanos

fault that's more the fault of the exchange that didn't have their security

good enough to prevent hackers but what happened is you know this goes all over

the news the the name nano was thrown in there

because that's the coin they stole you know the people who stole the coin

probably instantly tried to sell it just to not have to hold on to nano try to

sell it to you know cash in on their profits you know they stole money they

just want to take the money and leave which you know it certainly helped to

the big dip that we saw in the market for Nano it's set it's a great coin but

it did experience a lot of fun but for those of you guys who understand

cryptocurrency and you guys understand trading and you guys understand markets

in general maybe you messed around with a stock market whatever it may be you

guys know that that is just that is fun and that is a perfect opportunity to

pick some coins up so I just got on the cursor to show less than seven dollars

Fernando I've been buying Nano you know I was I was dollar cost

averaging I explained this all the time I was buying it in chunks as it kept

going down because I didn't know when the bottom was going to be now guess

what I bought it oh I think the first time I bought Nano it was like sixteen

dollars I believe it was like somewhere over here I picked up a good amount of

Nano but then he dipped all the way down and you know what I picked up more Nano

and this whole period I've been picking up Nano of up till the 21st yesterday I

was behind more nano and that means that right now at twelve dollars and 44 cents

I am in a decent amount of profit right now because of dollar cost averaging my

first investment of Nano was you know there were still three and a half

dollars away from reaching that for me to break-even but because I dollar cost

average sit down I'm down a profit when Nano so everything else I am just happy

if it keeps going up I'm just making more profit so that's awesome now you

guys could exceed that this was gonna happen because one it's a good project -

it's not their fault what happened it was fun

you know their name just got thrown around because they were the coin that

was hacked but it was the exchanges fault which makes it really easy to

predict that once all that goes away Nano is going to you know it has a long

way to go to recover where it was at and I've explained this in yesterday's video

two or the day before I don't remember which one he was that when the markets

start going green Nano is going to it has a lot of ground to catch up so it's

going to be one of the biggest movers that was my opinion and look at that we

have one green today and it's up 42% so those of you

guys who picked up nano and a cheap price congratulations on your profit

those you guys who missed out don't worry

I wouldn't recommend faux mowing right now I don't know how much more it's

going to go up before has a little bit of a correction because it's up 50% a

lot of people are gonna cash out their break-even point or even some profit

point and then they put that they got right here so I would I wouldn't FOMO I

don't like buying coins when it's up this much just as a principle it's to

keep myself safe but you are gonna have another opportunity to buy Nano and a

lot of other coins no bad news comes out daily for some coins and their their

price reflects that so definitely a good time to pick up any coin that you guys

are really interested in picking up now let's go into some technical analysis

before you guys can see in trading view I love this place to do technical

analysis because you see other people other people's Semco analysis and they

have you know this person is a pro I know they top I don't exactly know what

this means but I know it means that they are very reputable they have 211 thumbs

up here 578 thumbs up here and it's just people who are good at technical

analysis every time you type in a coin here I'm gonna show you people who

analyzed it before and kind of the breakdown of what they think then you

guys can do your own technical on that analysis and compare and whatever it is

and this kind of a great way to learn I learned daily still looking at other

people do this now everyone has a different opinion of where it's going

you know it's hard to tell where it's going from here but you guys can see one

chart here saying we're going down I have another chart here this is going up

who knows um that is up for you to do your own research own analysis and to

make your own decision but one thing I want to point out I think is fascinating

one thing that proves that this thing isn't perfect cell they're saying it's

time to sell your Bitcoin at ten thousand dollars it's time to sell your

Bitcoin that's a bunch of mumbo-jumbo guys this is I I don't think I don't

think so especially long term hmm I don't think so I think it's a bad idea

but I decided to do some technical analysis of my own for you guys and kind

of show you guys where I see the market heading for Bitcoin bitcoins gonna lead

the market so I'm just tweet analysis for Bitcoin it pretty much sums

up technical analysis for the market now what I wanted to show you this is the

descending resistance point right here and this is the descending supply line

basically Bitcoin was following in this channel for some time you guys can tell

bounced up here bounced up down here bounced up here bounced down here if it

was staying within these lines now it still hasn't broken out of it but on the

way up here it was building another sort of tunnel which was moving upwards now

we did break a little bit below that when we got to this resistance point

right here did break a little bit below that which is unfortunate how do we

broken this we would have been ready to go but it is down a little bit maybe we

can still recover it we don't know what's gonna happen it's gonna be you

know this is the time where you keep a close eye to see what's gonna happen or

if you're in this prolonged run like me you don't need but you just open it once

a day check what's going on doesn't matter

wasn't planning on selling anyways then you move on but moving up here it's

broken down a little bit from this channel let's see if again if it

recovers and stays on track to break this resistance or if it's gonna drop

back down now this is the 200-day moving average to the huge support line for

Bitcoin so again I don't see us breaking down below this at all what could happen

is you know we're at the ten thousand range right now what could happen if we

break down the ten thousand support we could go to nine thousand five hundred I

don't believe we are going to be seeing too much lower at least not in the

coming days I don't think so especially with the Lunar New Year coming to an end

guys we're gonna see a lot more money hopefully entering the cryptocurrency

market now I'm gonna say it's at the end of the video I'm not a financial advisor

this is not financial advice make sure to do your own research before you put

your money in absolutely anything guys the safest way to make sure you don't

lose money is to do your own research and to get better and better at doing

research every single day don't trust what anyone says on the internet this is

just my opinion my technical analysis what I think is going to happen that's

it make sure everyone has their own opinion so make sure you guys do your

own research when it comes to that obviously tech

technical analysis is it easy to learn it's not hard either just take some time

take some practice but you guys have got it I'm here to answer any questions like

I said hit me up on Instagram if you guys have any questions or in the

facebook group also I try and be as active as possible in there and if it's

not me we got a ton of smart people in the group they're absolutely good

they're gonna help you out and answer many of your questions so guys hopefully

you enjoyed this video make sure to leave a thumbs up if you guys did

subscribe down below like I said before if you guys want to see daily

cryptocurrency videos now it's gonna be two times a daily I don't even know how

to say that two times a day videos on cryptocurrency make sure you subscribe

hit the bell icon to get notified when those videos are released guys thank you

so much for watching I'll see you tomorrow for another video

Running a Mastermind Meeting - Best AGENDA To Use - Duration: 24:47.

in this video I talk about how to run a mastermind meeting I invited my friend

Rob Atkinson he and I are in a mastermind group together and we talk

about how we run our meetings and our experiences in other meetings

I'm Doug Cunnington I'm the founder of niche site project and I talk about

internet marketing and project management if you're new to the channel

have a look around if you like what you see please subscribe hey Rob how's it

going good I was going pretty good here this is the session on running a master

my meeting so the last time we talked we talked about the advantages the pros and

cons of having mastermind group and how it's you know sort of shaped the way you

know Rob and I have been able to grow over the last few years so today we're

gonna talk about actually running a meeting now from my perspective it was

actually like fairly straightforward so I was a project manager in my old

corporate job and mainly like most of my activities were setting up meetings and

running meetings and creating agendas and then facilitating the meetings so it

was kind of like exactly the same kind of work I was doing before I didn't

realize that was actually like a useful skill once Rob and I formed the group it

ended up working pretty well that I could you know sort of organize certain

things and then help the meeting move forward now that is something that you

can everyone can develop the skill I was awful when I first started you know in

my corporate job got really nervous I'm trying to run a meeting and you know

maybe you don't know people really well and you have to you know tell them to

hurry up or you know let other people talk and actually those are some of the

main issues that people have so people may not have any idea how to actually

just run a meeting right it sounds straightforward to say but it's just

hard to do sometimes especially if someone starts talking and they don't

stop talking so usually if you put a group two people together there is

someone who will kind of dominate a little bit now the other part is when

you have meetings you want them to like start on time and end on time again

sounds simple but in practice when you have a few people it could be difficult

and you have to do this stuff and tactful way so you don't piss everyone

off and the last thing it kind of goes hand-in-hand with what I mentioned

before but like if you just don't have a very tight structure for your meeting

one person is probably gonna dominate and other people are gonna be a little

shy I'm fairly like introverted and kind of quiet I wait and see like what

happens and then I'll speak up usually I'll try and make some funny remark but

it doesn't always work out but the point is someone like will probably take over

if you have a few people now before we get into the details of it I will

mention we're going to talk about the agenda how often to meet logistics of

the meeting and sort of how to grow and be flexible before we get into that it's

important to understand like what size of a mastermind group this can work for

so Rob I talked for a long time I need to catch my breath what do you think

about the size of groups in that sort of thing

right so if you caught our last video we were talking about you know having

different minds to help you uncover problems in your business and see it

from a different perspective so okay I've had I've had two three four and

five number of people in my group currently I have a three member group

which includes you me and some other guy and I have a one-on-one with someone I

don't really recommend the one on one I'm doing it because you know we're both

a very similar levels he's a good kid but I think two is kind of limiting I

think three and four is kind of the sweet spot I think three gives you in

enough different perspectives and it's not too hard to manage if you can pull

off four you know kudos to you that I would go that direction and then I

personally feel like a five and and more is just gonna be a train wreck in most

cases right so I agree with everything you just said so I'm not even gonna you

know like go over it but the agenda and the ideas we're talking about in this

video are mainly around like that three to five person range and if you want to

do something different right let's say you want to have a group with twelve

people maybe you don't meet us often right maybe you meet once a quarter or

something like that and stay in touch and

some mechanism but if you meet less frequently it's it's easier to manage

basically if you have you know three to five people you're able to meet in a

shorter period of time and everyone has the opportunity to speak but if you have

12 people and everyone wants to talk for five minutes

I mean that's just an hour right there right if I did the math right hopefully

I did it's tough to do it that's a good point and you're managing a lot of like

you spoke about earlier also managing a lot of different personalities and

motivations and yeah yep so with that said this is focusing on you know the

sort of sweet spot for the mastermind group that we defined last time in this

type of a group the you know thing I'll mention as we're getting started leave

us a comment and let us know your agenda if you have a mastermind group let us

know your agenda interested to see how other people structure theirs we're like

Rob and I have been in multiple groups and we've changed the structure multiple

times so you know that's one thing that we're open to if there's something that

other people are doing that we can take advantage of then we'll do it so alright

the agenda it's a pretty you know standard agenda that I've seen for this

internet marketing you know sort of group but it should apply to any kind of

mastermind group you have there are three main sections number one is

talking about quick wins so everyone it's kind of a roundtable situation

everyone spends you know a minute or two talking about when something positive

that happened in the last week or two right so since the last meeting you talk

about something good to happen it puts a positive note on on the meeting and you

know one of the key things you have to make sure of is to keep it tight in the

beginning so if you talk about your quick ones you do want these to be quick

if you have someone that goes on for 10 or 15 minutes then you kind of you ruin

your whole timeline for the meeting robin e anything on the quick win

section no I think you nailed it you really have to kind of start off

positive and kind of set the right tone for the meeting there's I mean we're all

humans but we've definitely had meetings but with us where we just start off on

tangents I mean today was a he kind of got off on one of those but it happens

but yeah the majority of the meeting is spent on

what's called the hot seat so one person has the floor to work through a problem

right you're presenting a problem or an issue or something you need help with it

could be a big sort of a big like vision issue that you're having where you're

like I'm not sure what to do with my my business or if it's I have an

opportunity to start a service business but I also have you know this affiliate

marketing thing that I'm interested in to like it could be something like that

where you kind of weigh the pros and cons or it could be like strategic I

brought a problem in a little while back on like email automation marketing

really and it was all about you know the nuts and bolts of using a tool like

Aweber or drip or get response and like how to build an email you know auto

response sequence so very technical and you know Kay it could be anywhere in

between - and I think this is sort of the area where you get a benefit from

having all the minds you know the mastermind group like this is where the

problems are solved totally agree I would add one thing about this section

that's critical to the success of your group so if it's your turn to be on the

hot seat right you bring your problem you have the ability to be as selfish as

you need to be this is your time but when it's the next meeting and it's you

know if it's your hot seat or somebody else you got to make it all about that

person and I've seen it over times where someone brings up a problem and then

someone answers it by like saying oh I have that same problem and I'm

struggling here it's like no no no like we're talking about you so yeah I

probably done that was that directed at me Rob former remember gotcha no and as

you said it I was like huh I wonder if I does sound you know everyone as you're

as you're working through like helping other people like you are thinking about

yourself and experiences so it but you're a hundred percent right I mean

like the the floor is yours so you could bring in like I said my new problems

like I did that that day and you know I actually I figured it out because you

guys told me what to do like if it a lot of trust there and it

spirals to likes thing where that comes up and there's something you need help

with that's cool but just in general especially at the beginning if you

consistently see someone you know taking the floor and hogging in and all that

stuff it's it's not a good sign yep and that is sort of like the job of the

facilitator and I'll talk about that in just a second but when these hot seats

are coming around the other you know key thing is present the information as soon

as possible right so when you you're really good at this Rob so you'll

prepare like a Google Doc and send it out to us like a week ahead of time

where you're like here is what I'm working through here's the thesis here

are the bullet points of like the background information you need to know

and you know here's what I'm thinking and then you don't have to spend the

whole time explaining like the problem you can talk about clarifications kind

of set the stage let us know if you've learned anything new but if you do all

that ahead of time then you're saving a bunch of time and you're just working on

like the solution of the problem not explaining the problem yeah and to add

on to that personally myself like I'm not very good at thinking on my feet

like you should see me on the phone sometimes and people ask me like in an

interview I'm horrible oh yeah I could attest to that

I'm horrible so so if someone doesn't bring it to the table and I'm trying to

on a call like critically think of something or a solution my answers are

gonna be a hundred times worse than if I had 30 minutes to like sync it let it

sink in yep and then be you know on some other level you get a benefit from

cleaning up the thinking by writing it out so if you just if you walk in and

you explain it it's all the information in your head but when you write it down

like it cleans up so and I think yeah you're nodding so it's it's huge just to

brain dump get it out of your head and then you can edit it clean it up and

then it's much more clear for everybody so the last part of the meeting would be

like upcoming goals so you don't have to do this I've I guess found that it's

kind of nice to just mention one goal at the end

your major thing you're gonna be focusing on over the next couple weeks

so usually that could just take 30 seconds per person if they already know

what's going on and that pretty much rounds out the meeting so anything else

I'm forgetting there Rob no I think earlier in our mastermind

groups I'm not gonna say that we don't take it as seriously I think we've

evolved and we're very comfortable with our flow but if you recall back in the

past we used to know our quick wins like we dried them out we dried out the hot

seat we wouldn't know our upcoming goals I can personally say I don't do that as

much as I used to so you know a little bit of time on the front end just think

about your goals so when it comes to your turn on the call you're having

something meaningful to say rather than just spitting something out yep and you

know on that note for the upcoming goals like going back to some of our very

early meetings we've done this in multiple groups to where like we didn't

understand how much we could accomplish so we would say like 10 goals and we

would only be able to get one done right so then it became very apparent that

well we can't do as much as we think we can and that's why you know we'll we

don't have ten goals anymore we have like one like that's the most important

thing that's the thing like we're accountable for so we've we whittled it

down quite a bit I think it speaks to like the way we've evolved to and grown

in our business we used to just be so in the weeds and do this this this this

this but now we're just like okay what's the one or two most high level things we

need to accomplish so pat on the back yeah yeah we've done good the agenda

portion right so I told you quick wins hot seat and upcoming goals sounds

straightforward right the thing is you have to have someone

facilitating the meeting and when someone is you know on minute five of

their quick wins the facilitator should have chimed in at like minute three and

said hey remember we're keeping it quick we got to keep the meeting moving and

then you know you have to do this in a diplomatic way to make sure you know no

one gets their feathers ruffled or anything like that but it's really

important to be able to run the meeting and I think you know this is the skill

that I didn't realize I had that is so powerful

- just say ham sorry Rob we need to move on like any last thing you want to

mention you know I think we got your point that kind of thing and I could I

don't know think I've ever told you this story about about two years ago I had

some friends I was in the Skype SEO group with and we decided to form a

mastermind they kind of pushed for it I was the group leader and unlike you with

your kind of project management background I never really managed ran

any meetings ever right so I think I'm terribly suited for this position we did

one meeting and it failed it flopped I didn't have the heart to like cut this

person off so they just kept going on and on yeah

so you know trying to grow as like a manager and be more like okay yeah it's

a huge skill to have for this yep and it's it's awkward and you could imagine

I mean I learned this from you know actually sitting in meetings with like

people in the office across the table and you're like you have to interrupt

them like in person face to face which is like maybe I think harder especially

when you know at the time I was like a consultant so usually the company and

the employees there with you they don't really like you that much it or maybe

you like opposing like companies there too so kind of a difficult situation but

that's how I learned how to do this stuff and you know it'll probably be

awkward it'll feel awkward as you're doing it but you keep the meeting going

and you know drive I guess like drive the meeting so it'll end on time you

have an idea of you know the timeline for each of the sections and how long a

person has you don't have to sit there with a stopwatch or anything but like

you know if you know there's a person talking about their hot seat and they've

talked for you know ten minutes and they're starting to repeat themselves

like you just say hey we get the point we got it you know let someone give you

input so really important and the way the facilitation should work is you

really should rotate so it depends on the dynamic of the group

I suppose that I'm such a strong personality about though but it's fine

like I kind of keep it going and I'm gonna you know call out Rob here give

you a pat on the back like I run like the the meetings a lot of time to just

kick it off and like hey let's move on to the next thing you know Rob wouldn't

you talk about your quick win now blah blah blah and all that kind of stuff

but there was a period where you would actually prepare the agendas and the

hotseat when we were to run the meetings on Google Docs so you would you know

make a copy send it out to everyone and do that so there are pieces where like

everyone should pitch in and rotate so you know I think Pat Flynn and his group

if they're still meeting the same way I think they rotate on like the the hot

seat and the facilitation just so you know a person doesn't always own it

we'll get to why like we don't have to rotate in the second and it's based on

the logistics and how to run the meeting as far as like documentation and stuff

that'll be in just a second so anyway the next part that we're gonna get to is

how often to me so this is up to you know your own group it can vary based on

your goals and stuff but we meet every two weeks and that's kind of the sweet

spot for us so what do you think Rob what have you seen out there yeah so as

I mentioned I have the other one just with the the one other guy and we meet

now like once every three or four weeks I definitely don't recommend once a week

you could try it out and see how it goes for you but once every two weeks I would

say is really really frequent and if your group is going well that's really

good to keep those short-term goals did you finish what you needed to do I think

it depends like you said on your overall goals who's in your group I think two

weeks works for a three or four person group pretty well I think like a weekly

meeting would work if you were doing say like a sprint of work over eight weeks

and you know it was kind of faster paced and like you were only working on that

one thing but like our businesses and the things were working on like we need

two weeks to you know get some progress and that sort of thing now it would be

fun and I think we did meet once a week for quite a while but we ended up

chatting and just you know it's not a bad thing

since we don't have the social aspect of like a corporate office or something but

you know we realized we were just you know just chatting and catching up too

much it was fun but at the end of the day we're like we're pretending like

we're working and doing a passerby meeting but we're just like you know

talking on the phone interesting point you brought up to is don't forget that

you guys are likely in a skype group together so even if you only meet once a

month let's say you have like a while to develop your goals accomplish things if

something comes up that's you know a quicker question you need help from your

group you guys can message each other - yep yeah exactly and you know just

little updates like hey I accomplished the goal that I said I was gonna do and

just to you know share that so there's always this guy on the other side though

on the other side though if it gets too social like you said it just even in the

chat it becomes too much just social and we're forgetting that were I think

there's a theme here there's a balance yeah there's definitely a balance and I

was gonna say I do remember a couple times we would come back from you know a

couple days off like each of us and there'd be like 400 messages and I'm

like what happened when I was going well I was in Thailand my time is different

so I would wake up the first thing I look at my phone and it's like 78 skype

messages is like what yeah yeah I know what you mean

like we were on the receiving end we're and by the way we were all across the

world it was really hard to meet so you know someone in like GMT timezone

Thailand and then you know u.s. time so it was pretty tough it's actually still

pretty tough to me sure okay let's get into logistics right now so you

mentioned Skype so it doesn't matter what format you use we happen to use

Skype but you could you know use like Google Hangouts or you know iMessage or

I like FaceTime or whatever it doesn't really matter video is great if you are

not in the same location just you know especially if you haven't met the people

before so it's just a nice way to connect with folks and all that stuff as

far as like the agenda and keeping notes and all that stuff we lean on Google

DOX a little bit but mainly we've moved over to Trello so Rob you know from your

perspective since you've done both like you know do you have any strong

preference or anything no I think it comes up to just determined by what you

group likes I did enjoy the Google Docs if your group is really involved and

likes to prepare before the call and fill in their goals I liked using Google

Docs for that but I guess at the same time that can be done with Trello but I

feel like Trello is a little bit feels more independent and you're just kind of

setting up your own blocks I guess although there is comments

section but yeah I think I slightly when you just get down to it like Google Docs

is just like less complication but there's something that looks cool just

having it organized in Trello that way ya know my explanation was really

horrible and what you said is exactly how I feel

slight slight favor for Google Docs but for some reason I think Trello just

looks and feels cooler right and the thing is with Google Docs like you can

create the document you can put comments and you could assign the comments to

people and resolve the comments like it has all the functionality you need but

it's just for some reason it's fun to drag those cards around maybe it just

feels easier to ignore that's true that's true so yeah it doesn't matter

what you use folks I mean you can just use a text document and email if you

want but and actually now that I'm saying it out loud email would probably

be fine I mean the threading make it a little bit funny but if you just have a

small number of people that would be a fine way to do it you know if you just

didn't care so next on I guess just remember that

you can be flexible with your mastermind group so as we mentioned we've had like

different iterations we've been in different mastermind groups we have

different formats we've changed agendas and stuff like

that and what happens what can happen is you meet and you keep talking about the

same goals you're not really having this any sort of major issues you're just

working and it becomes kind of stagnant like no one's really pushing each other

anymore and it gets boring like nothing and it's just not as enjoyable and one

thing that we've done is to add like annual reviews now quarterly reviews and

stuff like that to make sure we're adhering to what we wanted to do when we

did the annual goals so that you have huge flexibility on how to structure and

change up a meeting the danger is if you're not flexible if you just if you

saw our agenda and then you're like you know we have to stick to the agenda team

you know otherwise we're not doing what we're supposed to and if it's not

working then you should adjust or like disband the group and stuff now Rob

since you've been in a few like how do you structure your other you know your

other group we we started the one that I have just with the other guy

we started with exactly what we kind of outlined you know your quick wins your

hotseat your upcoming goals with two people we kind of got rid of the hot

seats so we come in and we review our goals after we review our goals we just

kind of have an open discussion it might start with this week you started off

like what what are you struggling with what do you want to talk about and then

I'll give some feedback we'd go back and forth then it's kind of spirals into

mind so we kind of share the hot seat and at the end we talk about upcoming

goals and then go from there got it so a quick idea for you know

changing up a meeting format we've done this for a few weeks and it's it's

almost like an open discussion or you could think of it as like a mini hot

seat so at times we've had you know all three members didn't need a hot seat

didn't want to you know take the floor but they just had like one sort of

smaller problem in each of us knew like individually and personally that the

problem was a small one and it wouldn't take a full hot seat so we've kind of

had some you know round table type discussions where you just need about

you know five or ten minutes and we'll go back and forth and just like sort of

keep it at a higher level so that's a great way to adapt if no one needs the

hot seat then you're able to just you know catch up make sure you you know are

moving forward and then you have full flexibility really I agree how you guys

would structure your mastermind meeting perfect thanks Rob enjoyed talking with

you today and we'll catch you next time thanks for having me

thanks for checking out the video Rob and I really appreciate it

by the way if you liked the video with Rob let us know in the comments we you

know love going back and forth on different topics if you have any

suggestions let us know in the comments that makes it easier to come up with

ideas you know if you just give it to us it's way easier so thanks again for

watching we'll catch you next time

How and Why Form a Mastermind Group - Duration: 25:51.

last week I got an email from a reader and viewer on the YouTube channel they

wanted to know how to form a mastermind group so that's what we talked about in

this video today I invited my good friend Rob Atkinson who I'm actually in

a mastermind group with to talk with me about mastermind groups so we're gonna

go into you know the definition of a mastermind group so if you don't know

what one is yet stay tuned that's the first thing we cover and then we get

into the pros and cons of mastermind groups because it's not always you know

a positive situation and we go into the details of that and how you can avoid it

and then we talk about forming a group whether you form your own group or or

find one that's out there or even join a paid group i'm doug cunnington and if

you're new to the channel please have a look around and talk about internet

marketing and project management if you like what you see please subscribe hey

what's up Huntington here and I'm with my friend Rob how are you today good

doing good over here how are you Doug pretty good like the snow let up a

little bit for today and I finished shovel in the driveway so yeah I'm

rushing to do some work today nice we've had sunny skies been like 60 70 s last

two weeks so that sounds nice we're still deep in winter so it's all good

the days are getting longer though so it's good now today we're here to talk

about forming a mastermind group and we're gonna go sort of deep in certain

areas we're gonna talk about like what a mastermind group is if you're not

familiar pros and cons of a mastermind group and some of the harder things are

like how to form your own and some of the options you may have out there I

know you know mastermind groups have been like integral for my development

and growth as an entrepreneur and even understanding like what I was trying to

do and I think Rob you're in a similar position right yeah I mean I joined one

like three or four years ago and we'll talk about it but it's it's been huge

great now a lot of people may not know what a mastermind group is I know when I

first started learning stuff online I had no clue so I went to the source that

I learned from that's Pat Flynn of smart passive income and I'm reading from his

website I'll put a link below but a mastermind group is a small group of

people who regularly meet online or offline to talk about

goals growth and success and provide support for each other I've talked about

mastermind groups this is Pat speaking I've talked about mastermind groups on

the blog before and just how vital it has been for his businesses so you know

that is one of the inspirational points where I was like oh I need to form a

mastermind group myself and figure out like how to take advantage of this right

so let's get into the pros and cons now Rob you have been in a couple groups why

don't you take us through a couple of the pros here sure so from a high level

you know if you're an aspiring online entrepreneur or anything like that

you're probably most likely the people you have been surrounded by from your

hometown or whatever probably majority of the people don't

understand what you're about what your motivations are and stuff like that and

I think especially early on or any stage in your entrepreneurial path it can get

really really lonely so just to you know virtually you know

hop on this call with you and just chat with you like this is positive steps you

know in the right direction it keeps reinforcing what we're doing what we

what we believe so that's probably the biggest thing first off the second one

which is really important is accountability

so I know for me personally like I get motivated to do things but sometimes you

know a couple weeks go by and the same thing just doesn't get done so both of

us have been in the same group in a mastermind since I don't know three or

four years ago and if you've got serious people that are into it you put

something on and you know you're gonna meet up two weeks from now and I tell

you Doug that I'm going to do this like if everyone's taking it seriously and

you show up next meeting and you have to tell people you didn't do it yeah it's

gonna kind of motivate you to keep to not have that happen it's embarrassing

right exactly and if you have the right you know people in the group you end up

with they're people that'll be tough on you not like a boss per se but like it's

like a boss peer kind of thing where someone could I mean you're accountable

to them to do what you say you are to have done what you said you were gonna

do so yeah very important now one of the other pros before we move on to the cons

and by the way we're just going to hit these at a high level there's many more

pros and we're going to talk about but the interesting thing and this happened

in our mastermind group earlier today so when you're facing

problem or issue you're working on something for a long time you're very

close to it and you lose like perspective and the context of you know

the big picture so you may be working really hard you have your head down and

you can't figure something out so you can go to this group with your issues

and problems and sometimes it is just painfully obvious especially when

someone points it out and then you're like oh I actually knew that and I was

going to do that or it may just be a complete blind spot but we all have

blind spots like that and to have people that like understand what you're working

on and that can tell you from a good place not a critical place but a helpful

place then you could accept that you know input and you know do something

with it totally agree if you didn't bring up

that point I was gonna talk about it okay

yeah and I mean you got me today Rob and I was like oh man like that's the most

obvious thing I've done the same to you where it's just like oh did you ever

think of you know point a and point B and it solved two or three problems like

without you having to do extra stuff so yeah it's it's another set of eyes yes

they can look at a problem from a new perspective it's huge so for cons I

actually struggled to like come up with very many but Rob you did so what what

do you have so there are a few I think if you are in the wrong group when what

I mean by that is if you're surrounded by people that may be on the surface say

they want to do it but deep down really struggle to take honest and open

feedback their ego kind of gets in the way maybe they're just generally more

flaky you know not all of them work out you need good people so I would say if

you start one and it's you don't feel like there are true benefits and the

group's not working I think it's more it's gonna hurt you more to keep going

with it than it is to just break off until you find that right one

great point it's not really a con it's just be careful right and that's a great

point Rob because like I didn't think about that but I take great care and

we'll talk about forming a group in a second I really do a lot of work on the

front and to make sure it's the right people and I think it's one of those

deals and we've heard it over and over again where you become like the people

that you're you're around so surround yourself with good people and if you

have people that are sort of not doing what they say they're

gonna do or they don't take it seriously or they show up late to meetings or

stuff like that you know it's going to be a little contagious and vice versa if

you get people who are sort of stretching they're doing more or doing

interesting stuff and pushing themselves well then it pulls the whole group up

you put a few people together like that and it really pushes everybody like

harder than they would on their own totally agree

yeah and this is again this is more of a circumstance that could happen sometimes

it depends also on the notice or the skill level but sort of like what the

people are kind of good at and what they're focusing on so like if everyone

is good at SEO and they're like very technical minded well you don't really

have that other perspective so you can't really choose perfectly who you want but

it kind of I want maybe one guy who's SEO but thinks about it this way and

this guy thinks about it this way I think that's where it becomes super

powerful yes into that point I was speaking with some people locally here

who are there in a mastermind group and they formed a podcast hold whole

different story but they formed their groups a little bit differently than

than us so we did and we do affiliate marketing and SEO that's sort of our

orientation however we all have a different background and a different

skillset that we could bring to the table and help each other in that way

this group has like you know an artist a marketing executive type person an

entrepreneur and some other thing it's completely unrelated and they formed a

group but they've been meeting for a long time and they like that they like

the very diverse backgrounds that everyone has so for me I was like I

wouldn't think it would work right because I would come with a problem and

they would be asking like super basic questions that don't make sense where

you know the way they work on their group and bring a problem and they have

to you know provide the right context when I start thinking about it I'm like

if I bring an SEO problem to someone who doesn't know SEO well I mean they can't

help you right they have to make sure it's the right context of a problem so

they could come in with very broad ideas but nothing like strategic and very

specific so have you heard of any people that have a structure like that no I

haven't but I think it just speaks to like you can have multiple

groups and you can have more of your broad-stroke group you can have more of

your SEO within the SEO you can have different talents and backgrounds so you

mix and match you find kind of what works for you and I think just be

careful is what I'm saying yeah yes I'm assuming we've probably convinced a

few people that mastermind groups are a good thing and they want to be in a

mastermind group so where do you find a group and I'll start us off and this

this is hard right because you hear about mastermind groups and you're like

well how do I join ones and that's the thing like if you hear about me or Rob

talking about our mastermind group it's closed right it's a small set of people

that are meeting and we've known each other for years we've vetted you know

each other over time it's you're probably not gonna be able to get into

our group you'd have to have like a lot of credentials to come in right like we

wouldn't just let anybody to come in so it's super rare to find an opening but

it could potentially happen and in fact multiple times with you and I Rob you

know we were like oh you know what like it'd be great to have another mind in

here you know anybody and we'll like go back and forth for a couple months maybe

you know figure out if we want to add someone to the mix or not and then go

from there and you know we have maybe like once a year we've added a new

person and there's some churn you know sometimes people leave a group or

something so anything to add about finding an opening or an existing group

I think just continue trying to connect for example you know with people that

you follow and peers and just kind of being active in your community get your

name out there and you know you'll start to form people on Facebook that you chat

with or that you have in Skype and just you know you can initiate and be that

person that kind of rounds the troops together and can kind of find out if

there's a group of people you want to join together with exactly and actually

like you're sort of even diving into the next way that I think is probably one of

the best ways to get into a group and that's like networking and forming your

own so I know you're actually a pretty skilled network or Rob you're gonna tell

us yeah you are you're great what do you think about

this forming your own group kind of style I think going back to when I first

started I think trying to get someone people

like like you said you have to have some credentials depending on the group of

people that you're joining so if you're new right to the internet marketing

space or whatever you're going into just try to add value as much as you can try

to show that maybe you don't have as much success in what you're doing but

you have so many other skills I don't know like when we joined there was

someone in our group we won't name who this was but I was making a little bit

of money with the online stuff and if you remember he was making kind of some

really good money yeah and I think just the fact that you guys are all together

on this same path it's something in common so find ways to add value just

connect with as many people as you can help where you can even if it's maybe

you don't necessarily know as much as them right and I think you know that

there's balance with that you know from my perspective like you weren't making

too much money at that point you were good for Chiangmai or whatever you could

while I wasn't there yet yeah yeah it was good for Chiangmai but you weren't

there yet so we could put links in some of the like dramatic history Rob was

going through it so the thing is like your revenue was a little lower

mine was sort of in the medium range I had just gotten some sites penalized you

were kind of in the same boat we were trying to recover the other person was

further ahead but you know the interesting thing is we all had a

different like skill set so I was like hey I'm good with like organizational

stuff and you know project management and I could help you scale I can you

know it's literally I know how to do I can hire people and get them to do stuff

Rob like you had plenty of experience and you would you just got caught up in

different areas and you were hungry right there's something where it's like

this guy can fail you know there was no alternative like you were gonna make it

work or you weren't gonna be doing internet marketing right so that's a

really good point I think cuz I try to remember back to

like what skills I had I don't think they were there but I think people

really resonate with hustle and like a willingness to succeed no matter what so

if you're serious people will take you serious right

and it's always good and by the way I know a lot of people

may think hey I have that hustle and I'll work hard and blah blah blah you

came in with proof that you knew what you were doing as well so I want to

point that out like you had multiple sites so we're making like really good

money and you just got caught up like any good SEO you got a site penalized

here or there you have some issues you know it's it's all part of the rite of

passage I think if you have results that you could bring in show and share like

that's time it can that can get you in the door even if you are at a place

where you don't have that like currently earning that's a really good point just

to have some results that you're really really taking action if you're just

saying you're doing stuff and then you tell people well I don't really have

anything that's not gonna be very good right

basically yeah if you don't have any results like it's all execution right

like the ideas are pretty easy you know it's all like following through and

executing on it so on that we can move into the next one which is like actually

I guess it's all networking and forming your own group so we talked about the

networking which is the front end and I'm gonna tell you about how I started

my first group and got into a group so I found smart passive income in early 2013

like April timeframe or so and it was right around the time that the niche

site duel 2.0 was coming out it was sort of like a forum and Pat Flynn was trying

to get all these people jazzed up about niche sites and all that stuff if people

don't know Pat Flynn got started with niche sites and did like gray hat SEO

just like we got started so you know he's doing different things now but I

just want to make sure people know like it's a good it's a good path to start it

with niche site so getting back to the story I was like hey I want to get into

a mastermind group and you know what there's this forum here so I put it in a

post and I just said hey I'm thinking of having a forum at sort of like this you

know Pat talks about mastermind groups I'm starting a site and I wanted to look

sort of like this if you're interested just send me a private message and and

we'll work on it now do you remember that niche site duel 2.0 by chance Rob

this was this was before I really knew what was going on so now okay I know

what it is I've looked back after but yeah I didn't know at the time okay just

just curious so and by the way in people let me know let us know if you

remember that niche site duel 2.0 is interested to see like who got started

around that time so anyway I put out the call and a bunch of people said yeah I'm

interested probably a dozen or so and then when I followed up I was like hey

tell me a little bit about yourself and you know based on that you know some

people just didn't reply probably like 25-30 percent didn't reply

not serious a few others did and I basically like pulled him on to a Skype

call and talked to him and just you know maybe only five or ten minutes but I

just talked to him to see like what they were working on what they were

interested and I kind of got a feel for like just how they spoke to me and like

the ideas that they were working on and pulled together a group of six people

all over the world it was it was pretty interesting we had a couple people that

were making like one or two dollars a day

they were like rock stars to me funny enough and I was like oh man this guy's

so advanced I remember telling my wife Elizabeth that there's like this guy and

he he has like three or four sites and yeah he's like totally doing he's making

like 250 most days two dollars and fifty cents in those days so I was just like

blown away so fast forward we had a couple meetings people showed up for a

few of them a couple people dropped off and within six weeks the group of

evaporated so I had already launched like I site by then things were starting

to step up and like it turned out of the group of six like no one followed

through except for me and I like outgrew all them within like six weeks or

something like that which is kind of crazy but then it just goes to show this

is like getting into like the lifespan of a mastermind group and stuff but

there may come a point depending on who's in it and like what the goal is of

the group you know maybe it's just eight weeks and then you do a bunch of work

together and then you finish up and then you move on that's kind of what this one

turned out to be and yeah like people just flaked out it was kind of weird so

I did form the reason why I tell that story is I formed the group myself I

learned a lot you know I let some people in that probably I shouldn't have that

it sounded like they were hungry but really they were just dabblers and they

weren't serious any thoughts on that Rob I don't know if

I've told you that whole story just like that before no I never knew that

the only thing I would say is you know it's probably very similar to dating I

guess I mean you can have like an 8-week relationship it could be good you can

learn a lot it's gonna set you up for the next one you know we've been in a

mastermind together for three or four years and we're going steady so like

yeah I think what we talked about before is like it really comes down to the

strength of the people in your mastermind that's going to be the

ultimate success level of it and you know at the end of the day if you just

had one for eight weeks but you learned that's a success - yep and like you know

similar to that I like that analogy we'll have to play that out you know how

we could take it to the next level seriously though I think it's kind of

like a job also like some people view a job where it's like you know what I'm

gonna work for this company for a long time I want to go through like this

whole corporate hierarchy which of course you and I had rejected that kind

of stuff Rob but there's another set of people who are like you know what I'm

gonna work in this job for like until I stop learning and then I'm out like I I

will take the skill set and you know go on to the next job now earlier in my

career I thought those people were just bouncing around looking for more money

which is a nice side effect of doing that but in reality they were like not

everyone but some people were like going to a company where they could work under

someone have a mentor in the company and then they would be able to leave when

they learned what they wanted and then have like a nice network building their

network to move around you could technically form mastermind groups like

that where you're like hey I want to be in a mastermind group for X amount of

time and I want to work on this project it's less of a commitment for people to

rather than like an ongoing thing you know right and also people's goals

change right so like a year after you joined maybe this guy who was doing SEO

wants to do something else and maybe that just doesn't make it work anymore

so yep exactly so and the last option we'll kind of talk about here is like

sort of a placement service or a like a paid mastermind so on the placement

service I actually with other people that I used to be

mastermind with we tried to form like a forum style like mastermind placement

service thing and we just kind of lost steam with it it was an interesting

concept we actually had a few people that a few dozen people that like join

the forum but we just never got much traction on it and didn't spend time on

it but I know like the tropical mba the podcast and I guess blog I think they

have a paid like placement service sort of situation and I mean I think the

benefit on that is if you could find one that has been around it has like you

know some I guess case studies where they can show you that they actually

have a pool of people that can match you up with you can be matched up with

people that you wouldn't normally meet that are at the right level so you know

the second part of that is there are some groups that are you know high-end

paid masterminds now I've looked at one before it's sort of it never took off

and this was an expensive one right it would be you know potentially ten to

twelve thousand dollars and a couple you know in-person live sessions and it

would be you know vetted people right that's the advantage the only reason I

would pay that amount of money is because everyone sitting at the table

with you is it the same business level as you they all paid the same amount of

money and you could assume that if you were interviewed and vetted they were -

and they're not jerks right you don't you don't want to be in a group where

people are are like not cool so that's the advantage of doing that and I think

the biggest thing like from my perspective is everyone at the table is

taking like their business so seriously or whatever you're working on so

seriously it they'll invest that money and they are serious about it so Rob I

know before we started you said you hadn't been in a group like this but any

you know thoughts and the observations you know anyone who has done something

like that I don't but for all the reasons you talked about you know people

paying they're serious it kind of reminds me

not exactly masterminds but paying for coaching right I mean you're getting

one-on-one feedback from someone the organic works but yeah for those

high-end like paid masterminds a lot of times if you see you

the guru types although most of those people wouldn't call themself gurus but

like Tony Robbins or a Tim Ferriss or you know lycra meets 80 they have like

some higher-end like programs that you can go to and a lot of times those they

may have a component of like one-on-one coaching they may have a component of

in-person like weekend or you know multi-day like sessions like a mini

conference where instead of you know hundreds of people or thousands of

people it's like four and you know you're in a mastermind group with those

people and you meet on a regular basis the paid you know the paid groups are

completely flexible right like they could do whatever the organizer wants to

do so there may be none of that maybe all in-person sessions you never

know but keep your eye out for those and those are typically like I said pretty

high-end so do you ever worry because I think a concern of mine with like those

is you're paying the money and you've got to make sure that the person setting

up their heart and motivations are in the right place do you ever get scared

off by by the high price tag well I've only considered it with like one one

person and you know I've taken another one of his courses and I generally trust

him you know a lot of my business that I've created and stuff that I've learned

about marketing and copywriting and stuff is from that person so there's a

high level of trust now you know the tough part with these is like there's no

like refund you know courses there's a refund policy typically quite generous

and flexible refund policy but with an in person mastermind like you booked a

spot and you like you start paying high amounts of money right away or pay it

like in full right away so I mean you're in you're in unless there's some sort of

like hardship thing and you're able to convince them to get your money back but

I mean in most cases it's just like you have to have a high level of trust so

that makes sense I guess if you're following someone for that long you know

I guess the point would be don't just find something online that says

mastermind and jump in you probably want to have a good

rapport or at least understanding of who this person is yeah definitely for sure

so in the next session we're gonna talk about how to actually run a meeting so

you know we'll assume you've formed a group and by the way you only need one

other person to form a group so you only need one other person to meet with you

and talk through stuff and in fact I've had a group where there's just one other

person we had three originally but one person dropped off and now you know

that's just two people so yep me too all right

cool well looking forward to it Rob and I'll put a link so you can see how we

run our meetings and then you can get some other suggestions on you know how

to improve your meetings and stuff like that so thanks for I appreciate it

thanks for having me Doug thanks for watching this video and let me know if

you're in a mastermind group just let us know in the comments below potentially

if you want to join up with some other people maybe you could find a connection

down in the comments so thanks for watching definitely check out more stuff

on the channel if you like this and don't miss the next episode where we go

into Rob and I talk again we talk about the agenda that you can set for your

mastermind groups

I have trouble hearing on the phone. How can you help?

Welcome to our series on equipment

available from iCanConnect for people

with significant combined hearing and vision loss.

Many people use an amplified telephone at home.

It amplifies the speech output.

There's an amplified ringer and the buttons are larger.

When it comes to mobile phones, many of them have

features or settings that can be changed.

For example on the iPhone

you can change the hearing so it's stronger

in one ear than the other. You can set it to monaural if

that works better for you

or you can turn on noise cancelling.

Some people may prefer to use a headset

and there are many of those available

including even ones with bone conduction .

To find your local contact

go to icanconnect.org or

call 1-800-825-4595.

Going to the Pet Store | Vlog - Duration: 6:02.

Good morning!

It's Friday today and first I thought I should do a video where I take the bunnies outside.

But when I look at my phone it says -4°C and I feel like that's too cold to take them outside

So I've decided to make a video like that another time instead.

So today I'll do my first vlog!

I think I'll start by cleaning this area, as you can see it's pretty messy.

Later I thought I would bring you with me when I'm going to the pet store to buy some hay.

I thought that might be fun, to follow me to the store. (And you guys will see what it looks like in Sweden)

I got a package earlier this morning btw

From Lyko.se, I use this foundation (from Elf) and I needed a new one

And I also thought I would try this concealer

That's everything that's happened so far today

I'm going to take a shower now, then I'll clean the room... after that we should be on our way to the store!

I just read on djurensrätt.se (Swedish animal rights activist website) that Maybelline test their products on animals

and I actually didn't know that when I ordered it

I've already opened it up so I guess I'll use this until it's empty

and from now on I know that I'm not going to buy anything from this brand in the future

I'm not a vegan btw, I'm a vegetarian

I do try to think about my choices either way

Let's go!

Goodbye sweetie!

We're doing a temporary stop in the Outlet

I'm going to buy a gift for my sister who's turning 25

and then we're going to buy some litter box material from Granngården

So now there's only one stop left and then we're heading towards the pet store

So I'm back from the pet store now

You didn't get to see that much since there was a lot of people in the store

and it just felt weird walking around there with my camera and filming them

but I've bought this tree and some hay for the bunnies

I'll show you everything when I get back home

Let's go back!

So I just made a quick stop and picked up this package

I think I know what's in this, but I'll open it up when I get home.

Now we're back home and I've already put the hay in our garage

I'll have to put a picture of the hay in the video

Anyways, I bought this carrot tree

So I'm going to replace our old tree with this new one

Since the old one doesn't look very good

There we go!

Not sure what I'm going to do with this one, but I think I'll just throw it in the trash

And as I said earlier, I bought some litter box material for their litter boxes

I also got this package

Let's see what this is!

It's a bunny box from Happy Bunny Club!

I think I'll open this one up in another video though

I've already been recording so much today

Or maybe not that much..

You want me to open this one up, huh?

You'll have to wait a bit

We'll open this one up in another video!

I think this is everything for today's vlog

As I've said before: I'd appreciate if you give me some suggestions on future videos you want me to make

See you in the next video!

Misty Progressions On Ski's - Duration: 2:48.

This tutorial will get you comfortable with the Misty axis by breaking down

the Barrel Roll into the Misty Progression. Begin by doing a side roll

on flat ground. Start with your chest down, keeping your vision on the ground.

Rock off one foot and roll sideways so your back is parallel with your starting

position, keeping your legs up while on your back. Use the momentum of dropping

your leg sideways to roll onto your feet, being sure you land facing the same way

you started. Hop on the tramp and warm up with some basic backdrops. When you're

ready, begin by facing sideways keeping your

eyes on the center cross, piking your chest forward. Jump sideways while

raising your feet into that backdrop position. Using the momentum of the roll

and the rebound off the tramp, drop your legs in the natural direction of the

roll to bring your chest back to the starting position. Keep practicing this

until you're confident enough to have a go with the Tramp Skis strapped in. It

is important to get a feel for how the swing weight of the skis pulls through

the axis. A Misty 540 is essentially an off-axis forward rotating 540 spin.

To achieve a Misty progression, start first with Misty Rolls on the ground.

Start by piking your chest forward, looking at the center. As you roll, look

under the shoulder towards your spin direction. Add a 90 degree spin into that

side roll axis and a 90 spin off your back, landing the opposite way you

started. This is not a flip. If your butt goes over your head like a front roll at

any point, it isn't a Misty Roll. Repeat this step on the tramp beginning with

your feet wide, just in front of the center cross. Set first, then drop your

shoulder almost like throwing a downward punch while you pike your hips up. Jump

forward while spinning 90 degrees landing perpendicular to the trampoline

to achieve a Misty drop to your back. Landing past perpendicular means the

progression was set too flippy. Landing under perpendicular likely means it was

under set. Rebound off your back drop by dropping your legs and carrying your

vision over your shoulder to spin 90 out, landing the opposite way you started

to achieve a Misty roll out. Practice the Misty drop to Misty Rollouts for a full

Misty progression until they are very natural and rolling out easily to 540. It

is important to strap on the Tramp Skis to get a more realistic feel of how the

swing weight through the axis has changed. Off your backdrop make sure you

flex the nose of your skis upward so you don't catch the tips of your skis on the

tramp. Practice the progressions both ways to improve your confidence with

this particular axis. This tutorial was filmed at Whistler Bounce. I'm Kallisa Lolos

from Ski Addiction, helping you ski better!
