Favorite Shows I Watched in 2017 | @fandommattersaf - Duration: 7:12.

Hi, my name is Amanda. Welcome back to my channel, Fandom Matters. The purpose of

today's video is to tell you about my favorite TV shows that I watched in 2017

I love watching shows. I love watching Netflix.

I feel like TV shows have just gotten a lot better in quality over the past few

years and there have been some really interesting things on Netflix in

particular that I've been enjoying. When I hear about a show one or two times, I

try to always jump on it if the premise sounds interesting to me and I just

posted about my favorite books that I read in 2017 if you want to watch that.

I'll leave that down in the description and up in the I. This list of TV shows

will have all of my favorites except for my top favorite of 2017, which will be in

an upcoming collab video. So these shows are all of my favorites except for my

number one favorite that I watched this year and you will learn about that later.

Okay so one of my absolute favorite shows that I watched this year I watched

pretty recently after hearing about it on my friends Paul and Rachel's podcast,

That's the show. You should definitely check out the podcast. They watch so many

shows and know so much about television in general and the show that I learned

from their podcast is The Good Place. I watched all of season 1 on Netflix and

then I've been watching season 2 on Hulu. This show is so fun. It's very funny.

It's intellectual. It's a lot of the things that I look for in an enjoyable

show and I don't watch a lot of comedy or sitcoms but this one borders on that

and borders on a drama I would say and it's really up my alley so if you find

that you have similar show interest as me I feel like you would like this. There

is a character who is an ethics and moral philosophy professor and I was a

philosophy minor in school so I find that character really interesting and

funny. He's just this big dork. In the beginning of the show, the main character

Eleanor dies and goes to the good place. She realizes that she is not supposed to

be there because she is not the person they think she is who did all these wonderful

things and a lot of great charity work. She was kind of like an average -

borderline shitty person and so she's trying to fit in and then these horrible

things are happening and she thinks that it's because she's there and she's not

supposed to be there. Each person is supposed to be matched with a soulmate,

their true soulmate and then her soul mate is Chidi, who is this moral

philosophy professor and then one of their neighbors, Tahani,

she is this super, super wealthy woman who does a lot of these grand fundraising

projects and she is like very attractive and wears these very nice dresses and so

that's kind of her character. One of my favorite characters in the show is Janet

who is kind of like a Siri-like robot type person who just magically appears.

She is so funny and charming and I love her so much.

Definitely one of my favorite parts of the show. It's way better than how I'm

describing it. I highly recommend you watch it. Kristen Bell is the main

character in the show too and she's a great actress. Stranger Things season 2

is kind of a given. I don't really enjoy scary things but this is just not scary

enough for me to enjoy it. Season 2 was maybe even better than season 1 for me

because you got to know the characters a little bit more, except for poor Will, that

poor kid. Like everybody, I enjoyed babysitter Steve because you know I'm

stereotypical I guess. I also really find Nancy very interesting. If you enjoy any

sci-fi shows obviously you will probably like Stranger Things. Oh an unpopular

opinion or maybe not, I liked the lost sister episode. I liked being able to see

beyond the small universe and I liked being able to see some cool, different

superpowers and they can do a lot of those characters. I've never watched any

of the Marvel shows but I imagine that that episode is what a lot of those

shows, I feel like. So let me know if I'm correct about that. Another favorite is

Sense8. I started watching that over the summer I think and I kind of binge

watched the two seasons that are up and I, like everybody else, was very sad. I

actually finished watching it just a couple days before it was canceled so

that was kind of heartbreaking. I am glad that they're going to bring back a movie

to finish that storyline. Leaving it where it ends in season two is just

upsetting but I love that show because it shows so many interesting

perspectives. All of the characters are so loveable and amazing. They're all

really attractive people and they're all interesting people. They all have flaws

in their own ways and I love stories that kind of tie people and storylines

together. Fuller house is on my list because I love the nostalgia of that

show. It just brings me a lot of comfort. Full House is a show I would watch when

I was like home sick as a kid and when I was a senior in high school I had really

bad stomach problems with my irritable bowel syndrome and

so that was a show that I always watched a lot when I was not feeling well and it

brought me a lot of comfort and then just seeing it back again it's so

whimsical and silly and it just it's easy to watch if you're just tired and

you just want something light-hearted on. There's nothing wrong with enjoying a

silly show. And on a darker note, The Handmaid's Tale. I watched that on Hulu

this year and it's amazing. That book is one of my favorites. I love the power of

that story and the new ways that they're twisting it for the show like the new

storyline about Luke, Offred's husband. It's amazing. I loved that episode. It's kind

of similar to the lost sister episode in Stranger Things where it takes you out

of the regular and original narrative and tells you a new side to the story

and I really like that. I thought that was very clever

writing of them and I can't wait to see where they go for season two because

then they'll be branching outside of the world of the book. So I'm really looking

forward to seeing what they do but I loved how powerful that story was. It was

very important for me to watch it. Black mirror. I think I started watching that

at the end of 2016 but that fed into 2017 and I started the new season that

just came out yesterday. I watched the first two episodes. A lot of people are

not liking it or not liking the season as a whole but I love the format of

Black Mirror, how you get an individual story per episode, so there's no

pressure to keep watching it really and I enjoy that I can just sit down and

take in one story at a time if I want to. I like how the show or each episode

thinks through a different scenario. They take something from our world today and

show a darker spin on it and show how humanity interacting with technology can

go bad or dark and while I don't think that technology is a bad thing, obviously

I'm sitting here making YouTube videos, I can see the potential downsides to

things when human error takes things too far and I really love

watching that play out on TV, but in small doses. I almost forgot to add Game

of Thrones onto my list. I really enjoyed that. I've made a few videos about a

few of the episodes as they were airing. I love Game of Thrones. I love the

characters of Game of Thrones. That's kind of a given but figured I'd give it

a mention real quick. A Series of Unfortunate Events I believe came out at

the end of 2016 and I think I was still watching it at the beginning

of 2017. I love a lot of adaptations and I really enjoyed that one. I thought it

was very very true to the spirit of the novels and those novels were very

important to me in my childhood and I really loved seeing them play out on

screen. And just a reminder I will be going over my number one favorite show

that I watched in 2017 in my next video which is a collab going over three

reasons why you should watch a certain show. I will see you in my next video, bye!

Catwoman Wine Bottle Art Fail | A learning Experience - Duration: 11:51.

Hi everybody, today's video is going to be a little different.

I attempted to make a Catwoman themed, wine bottle, art piece and although it didn't

come out horrible, to me, for my vision, I wasn't happy with the end result.

This, to me, was a fail.

So In this video, I'll walk you through everything anyways so you can see where I

was going with it and you can still learn from it… but before I get into the video

I want to give a huge shout out to, my girl, Taina… who was the only person to guess

what I was making.

Not only did she guess it right but for being one of my biggest supporters.

She always interacts, shares, comments and has even recreated some of my Diy's.

So big thank you to you Taina.

I also want to thank all of you who participated and are always showing me so much love and

support.

I'm truly appreciative of it.

So if you haven't already, go follow me on any of my social media accounts where it

makes it easier for me to interact with everyone and also lets me keep you updated on anything

that has to do with this channel.

All the links are in the description box of every video.

So without further ado, let's get into the video.

Welcome back to DIY No Need To Cry with Ivelisse

Here she is, my all-time favorite character, Catwoman!

I had been thinking of an idea for a very long time but I couldn't quite figure out

how to execute it.

What a lot of people don't realize is that having an idea is half the battle.

The other half is having an execution plan which is equally as important.

I thought I had figured it out but I wasn't quite ready in my opinion.

Catwoman Wine Bottle Art Fail | A Learning Experience

Let's get started and learn together.

Using air-dry modeling clay, I sculpted her suit onto the bottle the best I could.

Concentrating on the breast and corset as that is the main details that stick out from

her custom.

I did the corset with a separate piece of clay.

After I rolled out a piece of clay big enough to fit the rest of the bottle, using a ruler

(not for measuring but for straight lines) and an x-acto knife I cut a long rectangular

piece out.

Using the x-acto knife I made the cuts under the breast to form the corset piece.

I continued to mold and add clay until I was happy.

Now I'm well aware that not everyone can sculpt.

Heck, it's new to me.

I'm enjoying using clay and so I try and use it as much as I can so I can get better at

it.

Trust me when I tell you if a pro saw this, they would cringe at my quote on quote "technic"

or lack thereof lol!

Never the less, I enjoy it and want to get better at it.

If you want to create this without using clay just skip this step and paint the whole bottle

black.

After it's all dry, I sanded it down using 80 grit sandpaper.

Make sure to cover yourself from inhaling the dust.

I used the dust from the clay, mixed with water to make a paste, to fill in any cracks.

This was an on the spot thing I thought of and it worked.

Let that dry and continued to sand until it was completely smooth.

I also bagged up the rest of the dust because I'm wondering... if I could use it to fill

the cracks… can I also use it as molding paste?

Well, I'll let you know when I try it.

At this point, I was so happy and thought it's easy peasy from here on out right?

The hard part was done… well, this is why I told you that execution is just as important

as your idea.

Using black acrylic paint and a pouncer brush.. you can use any brush you want on this...

I'm just used to using the pouncer brushes… paint the whole bottle and let it fully dry.

Next using white paint and a thin brush I painted lines where I was going to add string

too.

I was adding the string so that it would have a slight rise in those sections as it would

look if you had stitched something together in those spots.

This is where my execution plan was not fully formulated and thing's start going wrong.

Using Mod Podge, some loss embroidery floss I had saved from a tassel that had unraveled,

I glued them onto all the lines I had painted white… making sure to smooth out the glue

so it wouldn't dry bumpy.

Small details like that are the key to how professional your work will look at the end.

Once all that was dry I painted over all the lines with the black paint and let that dry.

This is where everything starts going wrong.

I decided I wanted gimp on the corset instead of the string, to show the boning.

It was perfect… except I wasn't sure how to glue it on without making a mess.

Gimp is funny to work with if you have to bend it a little and that's just what I

had to do.

I started thinking of what glue to use.

I new hot glue was a bad idea because it would squeeze out of the sides and that wasn't

going to look right.

I needed something that dried fast enough to hold the gimp in the right position.

So I started to try glues, scared, as I had just spent over 5hrs sanding and painting

the bottle.

I tried E6000 but it was too messy and it didn't have an instant tackiness to hold the

gimp in place while it dried.

Luckily, I didn't use too much and was able to clean it up fast.

I then tried Mod Podge and although that one was not messy and I could easily clean the

excess glue off, just like the E600, it wasn't tacky enough to hold the gimp in place while

it dried.

At this point, I went through my stash and found some Mod Podge spray glue.

I've never used this stuff.

I bought it a while back and shoved it in my craft supply drawer because I never used

it for what I was going to use it for.

I really wasn't thinking when I used this.

I should have walked away and thought it through some more before attempting this or I should

have tested it out on something else first.

I always tell people to test things out before trying them on their projects but for some

reason, I went ahead and did it right on my hard work and this is what you see me doing

here.

After I shut the camera off I realized it wasn't drying.

It was staying tacky everywhere I had sprayed.

Without thinking, I grabbed a damp cloth and started to wipe the bottle off and let's

just say I made a huge mess out it and ruined the piece.

Now I know I tell you guy's that there's no need to cry and I was thinking of that

as this was happening but let me tell you lol!

I almost lost it.

I pulled myself together and decided to do it again.

I wasn't going to give up.

I cut off the corset part and did it all over again.

Yes it wasn't easy and I wasn't too happy about it, to say the least, but I didn't

give up.

Me once I realized I had fixed it lol

While I was sanding it, the second time, I had plenty of time to think about how I was

going to glue on that dog gone gimp without making a mess.

I went ahead and used my Mod Podge and it worked.

The reason it worked this time is because I used the tacky layer that's on top of the

glue, the one that forms over it because I don't have it stored in an airtight container

lol, yeah that actually worked.

As you see here, I was able to clean up the sides and held it down while it fully dried.

So if you do this, place the Mod Podge and let it get tacky before placing the gimp.

I did each one this way and let them fully dry.

I then painted over them with the black acrylic paint and let that dry before sealing it.

I ended up using the glitter sealer because it was the only one that gave it that same

shine that her suit has.

I also dropped it the first time and let's just say I used some not so Christian words

when it happened but somehow I managed to save it again.

At this point, after all, that had happened, I was so happy because It was exactly as I

had pictured it to look like but the struggle wasn't over.

Using Liquid pearls in the color diamond, I made all the stitching.

This is another detail that I wish I had done differently.

I should have used something else that didn't make the stitching look so thick.

What this did was take away from the sleekness of the bottle.

It made it look chunky and cartoony.

Next time I will use something thinner.

Once that dried I took laser printout of Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman and decoupaged it onto

the back.

Only use laser printouts, anywhere they print stuff out most likely uses laser printers

but ask if you want to make sure.

I printed a few different ones, to see which one would look the best.

I cut it out but before decoupaging it onto the bottle I wet the image to make it more

manageable.

I learned that neat trick from Mark Montana here on YouTube.

I'm a huge fan.

I'm pretty sure you'll know who he is but if for some reason you don't, I'll

leave the link to his channel in the description box below.

He's a crafting genius.

If you do go and check him out, please let him know who sent you.

Using a brush and Mod Podge I spread it all on the back of the cutout.

I didn't want to make a mess on the bottle.

I then placed it on the bottle and covered it with more glue and let that dry.

Using black glitter glue I filled in her suit, let that dry and added the liquid pearls to

the stitching as well.

The last part was adding the whip but this is where in my opinion, I dropped the ball

on this bottle.

It was way too bulky and not sleek enough.

This is a prime example of a great idea but a very bad execution of it.

No need to show you that because I hate every part of it.

I wouldn't recommend doing it the way I did but just in case you were wondering, I

made it out of rope.

Well, this is the bottle all done and I'm not saying it's the worst thing in the world

but it's not what I had envisioned.

I know my skill level and I did not reach it this time.

As I explained throughout this video, attention to detail is everything when creating a piece.

It will be the difference between a piece that looks professional to a piece that looks

like it would have been great if only.

I wanted a more sleek, feminine looking bottle.

This to me looks chunky and cartoonish.

However, it's not all a loss.

This is how we learn and I'm still very proud of this bottle as my sculpting was on point

with this one and using the gimp as the boning for the corset was a great idea, if I say

so myself lol I really hope this video was educational and showed you another side of

creating.

I'm not going to give up on this bottle.

I may try and fix it or go right ahead and do it all over again.

Whichever I do, you'll know about it when it's done.

Take your time when creating and don't rush your ideas.

If you reach a point where you get stuck.

Stop, walk away and come back to it.

If you mess up, don't give up.

Keep trying until you get it right and get to know your crafting supplies well.

This bottle clearly had 9 lives just like Catwomen…

I ruined the corset, dropped it when I sealed it and while attaching the whip I failed three

times before getting it to stay.

That's 5 lives down, 4 left.

Will I be able to get it right?

Stay tuned to find out if Catwoman lives.

LOL

Thanks for watching!

Alright?

So you can use this expression, for example, even when you go to the gas station.

You can say to the gas attendant, "Can you please fill it up?"

Fill it up with gasoline.

Alright, so let's practice this expression together.

Please repeat after me.

First slowly, then a little bit faster after that.

You ready?

Fill it up.

Now a little bit faster.

Fill it up.

Great!

Now, a little bit faster than that.

Fill it up.

Now let's practice that three times quickly.

Repeat after me.

You ready?

Green Smoothies & Greenhouses (Winter Update) - Duration: 3:57.

I've been wanting to do an update on my greenhouse for a while but we've had a

really weird winter. It's been really cold but it hasn't snowed. Usually by now

we have a couple foot on the ground but this year we only have a couple inches,

but last night it finally snowed a little bit. Today I'm gonna go out there and

show what I do for upkeep on my greenhouse during the winter show you

how it's holding up. First, I'm gonna get my breakfast smoothie going. Take some

romaine then I toss in a cucumber

most days I add half an avocado

but I just don't have one right now it's more for consistency than flavor.

And then some Chia. Then a bunch of water and I blend.

Now I'm ready to go show you

what's happening with the greenhouse.

I took the ends off so that the wind

could go through it I figured it would be easy enough to put them back up in

the spring. I have my chicken tractor in here right now I'll show you real quick

what I do when it snows out. I just go through and knock it down. I think it

worked out better doing it with a little pitch at least for me in a snowy climate

so doesn't take long it just slides right off with a few shakes

I figured while I got you out here I'll show you what I'm gonna do in the spring.

Or my plans for the spring. This area I'm going to fell all these trees

they're mostly ash so I'm not worried about it I'll probably leave the maple

there's a few maples. And then I'm going to use a hedge trimmer I'll get all

these all this little the low weeds and brush, I'll get them all cleared

out with a hedge trimmer. I'll come through and I I finally found someone

that will bring woodchips out here it's a little hard being this remote cuz

people just cut their own trees and then the wood chip businesses I don't want to

drive all the way out here with it with their trucks but I found but I found

some guy that's willing so in the spring I'll get a couple loads of those I'm

gonna chip this whole area. So thats how my greenhouse is handling winter

appreciate you watching, let me know if you have any questions. Take it easy!

Advice... FROM THE FUTURE! (Letter From My 103 Year Old Self) | Mary Hamer | Vlog 008 - Duration: 3:00.

This is a letter that I wrote to myself from myself when I am 103 years old.

So here we go! Mary - be gentler to yourself by that I

don't mean let yourself slide by doing nothing but do stop beating yourself up.

Start learning from your mistakes instead of using them as a weapon to

prove your negative views about yourself and stop worrying what everyone else thinks.

It may take this a while to "click" but when it does it's going to be glorious.

First step is to stop trying to be perfect. Right now you're trying to be

perfect for others, or at least appear that way. That's not healthy.

You don't have to be perfect to be worthy.

Start each day knowing that you are here to make a difference

and then go after it. I won't lie it's going to take a fair bit of time.

You'll need to learn to be patient.

You'll need to learn to be tenacious

You'll need to learn to go after what you want for you as well as others,

and leave your pride at the door.

You are worth the world.

Give it to yourself.

So what I did was I then took the points from that letter to myself and I

distilled it down:

Mistakes are learning tools not weapons.

Effort over perfection.

I am here to make a difference.

Be patient. Be tenacious. Be you.

And from that, I made myself a mission statement!

I am here to make a difference

to others and myself through wild creativity, through music,

Through personal connection to others.

So your mission, should you choose to accept it,

is to write yourself a letter from your hundred three-year-old self and...

you don't have to show it to me. If you want to - that's awesome - you can put it in the

comments and I'll read it and I will give you all my love! But this is for you.

Give yourself advice as far as what you know you need right now.

You can, of course, also write a letter from yourself now to your hundred and three year old self.

Have a dialogue if you want!

So from me, and my 103 year old self,

Thank you so much. I love you. We'll see you next time. [*blows kiss*]

The First Book of Nephi His Reign and Ministry An account of Lehi and his wife Sariah, and his four sons, being called, (beginning at the eldest) Laman, Lemuel, Sam, and Nephi. The Lord warns Lehi to depart out of the land of Jerusalem, because he prophesieth unto the people concerning their iniquity and they seek to destroy his life. He taketh three days' journey into the wilderness with his family. Nephi taketh his brethren and returneth to the land of Jerusalem after the record of the Jews. The account of their sufferings.

They take the daughters of Ishmael to wife. They take their families and depart into the wilderness. Their sufferings and afflictions in the wilderness. The course of their travels. They come to the large waters. Nephi's brethren rebel against him. He confoundeth them, and buildeth a ship. They call the name of the place Bountiful. They cross the large waters into the promised land, and so forth. This is according to the account of Nephi; or in other words, I, Nephi, wrote this record.

Chapter 1 Nephi begins the record of his people—Lehi sees in vision a pillar of fire and reads from a book of prophecy—He praises God, foretells the coming of the Messiah, and prophesies the destruction of Jerusalem—He is persecuted by the Jews. About 600 B.C.

1 I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my father; and having seen many afflictions in the course of my days, nevertheless, having been highly favored of the Lord in all my days; yea, having had a great knowledge of the goodness and the mysteries of God, therefore I make a record of my proceedings in my days.

not very much but there you go so yeah they've actually come out on their own

to challenge a few locations in Sheffield there's no new pile Travis

from more finish talking exploring and so yeah check a video guide oh there we

go we've got the camera hall we knew he'd turn up as soon as I turn the

camera on camera or camera whore see guys we've now been joined by the

rest of the crew and we have Steph she's come to join us so all of us lit sealed

in this one room we're just all met up again because we're just all been

wandering around and doing bits and pieces so make sure you head over to

find us beep with history seekers disgusting ears if you really want to be

grossed out Matt here actually a tin of surstromming if I've said it right which

is rotten fish in a salty brine and it stinks to high heaven so please head

over to their channel and check that out

so we're we're now on an old tool Factory

this got the old-school toilet that you would have had to stick a bucket

underneath and sit on these wooden holt and then go do you toilet do business

through the wooden holt and it land in the bucket underneath and then you

divert to take the bucket out and then use about to pour it down the drain an

old bandsaw oh wow so guys check this out we're in this old

tool factory in Sheffield as unless you got real work consider that all stance

into the machine so this is what I would believe would have been a bandsaw of

some description so this would have been that but it's all been driven by belt so

that would have been powered by that all the belts all hanging around look this

one is frayed so this would have driven this press and then yeah this was driven

this press as well look at that oh he's all old-school old-fashioned all the

belts driven by the cogs and then they've been one central belt that

would've driven every single tool in this place so this is just absolutely

crazy and then I got that looks like an old-school way in scale see hung stuff

on here it's just wrong find out how heavy it was Wow look at these guys so

we've just under this tall factory that had probably used this as storage of

some description

yeah she's not so I don't know what enough they were to use this ball but

it's just crazy how you've got massive great columns there's a pit

there talk to whoever it was this year back in the days a bit short breakdown

gutted I won't be going through there guys but I am here severe shame I was

looking forward to exploring some tunnels so we just walk around this

factory they've got some really cool old-school style shelves and there's

just rooms upon rooms everywhere this place is absolutely massive it's

probably going to take us a good cut the house to explore the whole place Wow

just I mean look how cool this looks this is just a really this is the

coolest old factory I've been in ever and I mean the coolest no matter how you

look at it this just this place is mental okay you'll be very careful I'll

shovel there and I'll actually show you the main walkway in a bit as well I

don't want to go too nuts with this floor because it does feel dodgy but I'd

assume this would have been the office so this would have been the office but

they've done all the paperwork that's really cool seeing all that I've never

seen one nice and that is absolutely amazing

oh wow so that's a really cool brick staircase so I will go up that let's go

and check it out

these are very worn stairs so these are in operation for some serious time Wow

look at this guy's gonna be very careful up here

with so finance is wow so guys check this out this is probably the coolest

room I've found so far so this would have been the old bookkeeping records

for a whole entire place and this is just this is something else this is

absolutely beautiful I mean okay that's a concrete floor and

then yeah love your artwork Oh dumb waiter

so that's crazy and then oh yeah this part of the buildings all collapsed in

yeah I'm gonna take you back to the old folks always realize that it's

absolutely brilliant I love that I've I've only seen it in old-school films

never actually seen it in person it's the first time I've seen it and yeah I

actually love it this is absolutely beautiful

and yeah I won't be going across there guys because I'm not fucking idiot so

I'm not gonna be going across there with holes in the floor it all fallen apart

and collapsing yeah look at this just this place all these old school falling

cabinets and just the way they would have all been there and those I've had

everything stored in lovely and you can just see by the way I'll near to the

wood where they were to put the files in and just the motor this was used so much

so just think that there have been accountants up here and other stuff and

they would all been falling all the records so yeah this is beautiful I must

admit this is absolutely lovely um this is probably the coolest find that they

so far oh wow I feel like I've just opened a time capsule I'm gone back in

time

oh wow look at this did you see this I

don't know how well you guys can read that but look at that that's crazy

so we're now in this room and Andy snuck off on me on the other room and oh we

have met but check out these rooms guys this is just like I've literally walked

back in time it is absolutely awesome just to see how all these old files were

stored Wow have you been at least a day well it's a fat man go first I'm not

really going to go up here because the floor rots on the pieces but this sort

of reminds me out of Harry Potter film the ones thought but it's all loads of

boxes like there's a bin old ones okay

well so guys will adjust up it the floors are actually rotten and we just

found a trapdoor oh my life look at this oh my gosh I did

yes I think I might have to get that stolen never sit down that this would

have been where old welding rods would have installed but it looks to me this

looks like the the one store in Harry Potter where it about older ones because

of all the empty boxes so yeah that's pretty cool and it's just this tons of

it butter which is just old pitting holes and stuff I honest this would odd

as she would have been a workbench I look at these I was going out Wow

so guys these are absolute and Hut and then he got loads of little spikes oh

wow a little pin board the daily mirror from November 1997 so all the mirror

oh wow this place is awesome I'm glad I got over the fear oh I'll let Matt go

first I think he's a little bit more crazier

than I just a little bit oh there he is

no it doesn't look right I sort of spoils the place let's fry out the

window get rid of it yes you're in the wrong place make go away never force and

there's another floor up above us yeah

turn sit around sits F Pat tranch it's gee Pat I'll just read you some of the

names on it so these would have been like a proper old storage for the tools

and stuff that and I'll assume these fancies up here would have been a

workbench for the guys to did amend it

I search every day that just look freaky and you know what we're like on this

channel we always come across some freaky tears so I think I'm gonna have

to go and get a pizza at activate some old school calls and it's not just me

Neil knife anaesthetic excited even Matt is really excited by this it is just so

cool

so we're now just in another room of this place

there's another really cool log desk there's a another really cool old filing

cabinet and then Wow just check that out guys they're just really random scary

freaky chairs just sat in the middle of the room and then okay this fish no

gravy in a metal tin that's just crazy guys and then this is one weird random

little cup so you got another old-school workshop in here

oh my life right wait until you see this one

well we've got a couple of old school school desks Wow how big is this place

wow this is absolutely crazy guys and I mean absolutely crazy I can't say enough

because this is just absolutely mental

have anything with a blade on it so it's out but a knife yeah I don't know

whether they were made here enough well what are they so these are storages

there's a crane that would have lifted all the tools and stuff up here saving

man you're handling and carrying everything

there's a wooden pick oh wow so these are all different workshops here so they

would have probably been doing welding and all sorts of metal machine work and

everything so check out these gears Wow oh this place just gets better and

better this is the gift that keeps on giving

Wow so check this out this is another old

really cool workshop look at this stall guys this is just crazy and then I look

this should have been like a metal Forge that would have had like a little blower

there to keep the heat going forward as a kiln there's always one guys I know

this is one for fat person friendly Wow guys this is sort of stuff I see in

movies and they justify it it's just it's happy to say there you go guys

that's another reason why you should always be safe you fall through that

hole you go through the trapdoor below it and you go for the trapdoor below

deck because we're actually on the floor number four or five or this place so

you're gonna have a lovely big fall so I'm glad I could bring you guys with me

today because this is probably one of the best explores I've done if not the

best I know you guys have been tuning in and watching my mansion videos which I

really appreciate but as far as called old factories and

the history behind this place we talk will link in the description below this

is just absolutely crazy I can't get my head around this this place that's

lovely they go so Matt from fondest beepers is going to give us a little

history lesson

that's cannon brewery yep so that's obviously one of Annabelle

behind it you've got the abandoned ski slope the earthen ski village if you

look around you can see but further round that way you've got the courthouse

you've got the well there's lots and lots of other small ones so literally in

this small area

oh and Andy's just going all know he's found another stage oh wow is this what

floor five or six now I let Andy's phone maxbrandes dildo oh these kids from

stretches in guys' stretching yourself ready to lay up all exercises yes Wow so

good come I fear I'm not gonna walk across because as you guys can see

there's a massive holder so that's oh wow that chairs lovely watch it watch it

watch it you know noise it's boring yeah a little bit well now Matt's done it you

know it'll roll it once one's gone we all go these two like a married couple

good domestic

well that would have been about our shuttle I'm gonna board it and leave it

so we keep seeing these texts around so these are bonds the one grouse running

spikes although I wouldn't really want to run on them because they don't look

very comfortable so this is a little toy up here look at that old wash basin and

sink the Frigidaire fridge is a bit more money but look goes cook up Wow crazy so

check out those filing cabinets check out that that just looks awesome

the skylight look at that guy's he beat me to it there's a sexy little number on

the wall day look and I think it's in our town right he's just had his tongue

down her throat and he's now tearing her up so they've been scared I think he

sounds like they're being scaredy blah

there's two bugs there's two blokes here

so we have a couple of really heavy old safes there by say that

I mean they're not exactly level tools either they are all founded yeah so this

place is absolutely awesome I'm gonna apologize already because I know I've

probably said awesome mental nuts brilliant

but guys is better than me swearing me ed off but I Wow check out that safe

this place I could spend about free days here

yes Stephanie I really don't know what to make of this place guys um

this is just awesome just to see this whole school stuff just dotted around

here there and everywhere and then yeah I mean Coventry gage okay so this is

that person friended oh wow so we come across another set of trapdoors

oh okay yes that definitely doesn't feel very safe look at that there's another

set of trapdoors there oh wow yeah we saw it I saw that and the other thing

the fourth one June 1823 yes that's how they used to do the

daytime now we just do 1823 don't get shot you with me I was talking to the

camera Colin just fucking go I'm not fucking

I'm not home so I'm not afraid or Devereaux all over Tara Ahmet review oh

I think you're just being absolutely childish mate

this man here is an absolute legend all you need to accept this man challenge

【#024】日本の文化・節分~Japanese culture called Setsubun (last day of winter)~with English subtitle - Duration: 6:01.

Hey guys! It's Misaki!

Today I'm going to talk about a Japanese culture called Setsubun (last day of winter).

Setsubun is on 3 February.

Setsubun literally means "seasonal division".

Japan has four seasons, so there are four "seasonal divisions" every year. The dates are usually set according to the starting day of each season in the calendar.

We usually have events on the day of spring Setsubun (winter to spring).

So Setsubun is the day before the season changes.

We usually have events on the day of spring Setsubun (winter to spring).

You guys properly knew that it is snowing a lot in Japan recently and it doesn't feel like spring at all…

This Setsubun culture was started 1300 years ago and people wouldn't have thought about climate change… so it sort of became a tradition now.

There're actually a lot of things people do on the day of Setsubun, but I'll only introduce two of them which we still practice nowadays.

The first one is Ehoumaki.

Ehoumaki is a kind of sushi rolls like this!

People eat the Ehoumaki sushi roll facing the "Ehou".

So it is believed that they can go through a year without bad lucks or sicknesses by doing this.

Ehou (恵方) means a blessed and favorable direction.

By the way, "Ehou" in 2018 is South-SouthEast.

It's also considered unfavorable to talk or stop eating while having the Ehoumaki, so when I was little my family always had it in silence.

If you aren't in Japan right now, you can also try it out with any sushi rolls!

The second one is Mamemaki (beans throwing).

This culture came from China and throwing beans means purifying and driving away the evil spirits.

I want to a convenience store to buy this one yesterday.

It was only 108 yen.

When you buy it, you can get this one to be Oni(Ogre).

You can make this Ogre mask with rubber bands.

The father usually wear an Ogre mask like this and throw the beans.

But it takes a lot of effort to clean up all the beans, so most of the time only families with kids would practice this Mamemaki culture.

Other than that, it is also believed that if you eat the number of beans the same as your age, you can be healthy the whole year. So for me, I'll have to eat 23 beans.

I'll try this bean!

I'm opening!

This is the bean. Can you see...?

It tastes pretty good! These are just normal beans but they've been roasted so the savory taste really matches with sake.

So that's all for today's introduction to the Setsubun culture in Japan!

Don't forget to give me a Like if you enjoy my videos!

If you like my channel, please subscribe it!

I'll see you in the next video! Thank you!

Bye!

How to make Rainbow Jell-O Roll Ups - Ari Kitchen - Duration: 9:16.

Hello, this is Ari :).

It's been a while since I came back with a rainbow-themed tutorial!

I will be making Jell-O Roll Ups (Jell-O Pinwheels) which is one of really popular snacks for kids overseas!

The ingredients and steps are really simple, but they are really fun to make with colorful visuals.

Let's start making them then!

Let's start today's fun and creative cooking! Zoom!

Today's ingredients!

I tried to get Jell-O mixes in rainbow colors!! In total 6 colors - Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple~

Jell-O has a rich flavor and chewy. So I also prefer using Jell-O when I make jellies.

(Explaining about the purchase method as it's not officially sold in Korea)

For the viewers in overseas, please use Jell-O mix~

125g of water at room temperature to mix with Jell-O mix.

50g of marshmallows! It's also okay to use marshmallows with colors.

And you need to prepare a container or pan to set the jelly. It's good if you can get 20cm in length and width.

The pan needs to be coated so prepare a little bit of cooking oil too.

A whisk, spatula, mixing bowl

Then let's start!

Step 1 - Coating the pan First, coat the pan with cooking oil. Jelly may rip and hard to remove from glass pan.

Coat both pan and plastic wrap with cooking oil.

Step 2 - Making Jell-O roll ups Red Jell-O mix! I will try to make with the strawberry flavor first.

Pour water~ Stir with the whisk.

Now I will heat up in the microwave for 1 minute to completely dissolve the Jell-O mix.

Stir well so the mix completely dissolves.

Step 3 - Jelly + marshmallows Now add the marshmallows~

Wet the marshmallows in the jelly mixture and microwave for 40 seconds.

When you warm it up, the marshmallow will be little puffed up. Whisk until the marshmallows are dissolved as well.

When you see this, it just looks like a murky jelly mixture, right?

But when you pour into the pan and wait a while, jelly mixture will go down and the marshmallow layer will rise to the top.

Isn't this amazing? Is it not? lol

Step 4 - Chilling in the fridge Chill in the fridge for about 2 hours~

Step 6 - Rolling up the jelly It's been firmed up well. The bottom jelly layer is thick when firmed, but marshmallow will be little sticky.

When you roll them while removing the plastic wrap, it's done~!

It doesn't matter if you cut them right away, but if you would like to get the shape set, cover in a plastic wrap and set in the fridge for 1 hour.

Next is orange! I will make orange flavor. You need to coat the pan~ it's same as the steps for making strawberry one.

If you're going to use Korean jelly mix products, you may have to add more gelatin.

Honestly, I don't recommend Korean jelly mixes for making these jelly roll-ups.

As you have to roll up in the end, the jelly should be quite firm and thick.

But if it's hard to get the Jell-O mixes, then… I think melting Haribo Jelly is one other way. Hehe

Shall we watch again~

Add the mix and water in the mixing bowl. Stir well and microwave for 1 minute!

Mix until it's dissolved and put the marshmallows in!

Microwave again for 40 seconds~

Stir until marshmallow completely dissolve and pour in the pan. Put in the fridge for 2 hours! It's super easy, right?

I will roll each of them. Carefully remove the plastic wrap and roll as you are rolling Kimbap (Korean seaweed roll).

Be careful as you roll it up to tight, the sides may break.

Step 6 - Rainbow Jell-O Roll Ups! So the Jell-O Roll Ups are completed. I guess they are more of rolls than jellies, huh?

The jelly may be squashed if you cut with knife. Prepare a clean string and cover the jelly with it to make slices.

You cover the string like this and intersect each end to cut slices.

Tada~ aren't the shapes so pretty!

This is really fun to cut as well. It feels like cutting thick Muk (Korean buckwheat jelly).

Now I will try to cut all of them in order.

Tada~~ Rainbow Jell-O Roll Ups are completed!

It's really simple to make but aren't these fun even just to see?

As I made them in rainbow colors I remember going to Pinwheel Park in Paju. It's really pretty there. I feel like I'm a child again. Hehe

Moms make them when kids are at school and take them out from the fridge when the kids return home. Then kids will scream, "Yayyyyy~!". Hehe

So cute~ hehe

I will try eating the purple one~ Grape flavor!

Chewy chewy~

Gom PD: Soft and plumpy~

Try listening to the sound~♥

Chewy~ tangy~!

Chewy and tangy jelly with soft marshmallow layer.

The layers are attached so the textures don't go separately in mouth.

As it tastes fruity and has soft mouthfeel, no wonder kids love it.

I love how you can easily make these cute jelly roll ups.

If you guys want to make this, please see the Read More section below this video. I will write the tips for making this~

Well, how was Rainbow Jell-O Roll Ups I've made today?

the secret way way way back when the secret came out and Abraham is

collective conscious non-physical that wisdom is interpreted through Esther

Hicks this might be a little bit unusual for you to process but just stick with

me keep listening because if you if you can

do what I'm going to suggest you'll find that life becomes less stressful the

angst the level of angst is just reduced because it's the wisdom is pure you

can't fault it this wisdom fits in with every religion so if you're a religious

person it's not going to detract from your core beliefs it's going to enhance

so it's actually beneficial for everyone on the planet I think in my life when

somebody close to me is having a problem and I can suggest this to them and it

doesn't even matter if it's a teenager who's just like wouldn't want to believe

in any of this or you know an older person anybody this relates to everybody

because people will go in and listen and just straightaway they'll

feel better because it unravels the problem you get a solution so here's

what you do whatever your problem is and we all had lots of problems and lots of

questions that we we really just don't know the answer we can ask friends we

can look it up but this gives you like the real answer which is always relates

back to you you go on to Google and you type in your problem and follow that by

the words Abraham Hicks Google will give you some results of an Abraham Hicks

YouTube and it'll be a recording of somebody else asking that question it

covers every question you could possibly think of when someone else is asking the

question Abraham will answer you just get it you just say yes yes yes yes yes

that's right it resonates on such a vibrational level with you we have

trouble moving through things especially when we're feeling stuck and we can get

stuck so easily because everything's changing in our bodies in our lives

relationships are changing we're changing our children are changing our

friends are changing our workplace is changing and like the whole world is

changing so this kind of gives you the strength and the inner wisdom to get the

information process it in your mind and get clear seriously

give this a try please give it a try because you'll just feel wonderful when

this when you work out how to do this so let's go back to a problem let's just

say you know something that happened for me with me is when all my kids left home

in within a matter of a few months I was devastated I was focusing on me and how

that made me feel and how upset I was and you know I'd wake up crying all the

time and I just felt like my world was over which it wasn't

of course but that's how I felt and I got stuck in it what I could do is I'd

go to Google and I'd I type in the question how to let your children go

abraham-hicks or feeling so sad abraham-hicks so you type in specific

about what it is you want to feel some soothing about and a whole list of

things will come up you just click on and listen it's like you're getting the

exact perfect thing that you need to hear it's it's like magic

everything gets diffused when you feel that clarity and softness with it within

the problem it's easier to get up and just keep going this is magic and it

really has helped me to become more clear in my life more grounded more wise

more able to help other people when they have a problem because I'm feeling

strong and grounded and now the problem could be you know with women our age my

job feels uncertain or I don't like my job abraham-hicks or I'm worried about

my husband leaving me abraham-hicks or my body's not working anymore I'm

feeling sick anything you can think of that relates to you you type in you know

I've just been diagnosed with this abraham-hicks and just listen to one of

the recordings and you will be amazed how you feel grounded and then it builds

you a little bit to give you that wisdom to be able to go forth and get through

without falling in a heap and staying in a state of sadness or uncertainty I

listen to Abraham every day it just makes you feel better and I would love

to share that with the people watching here because I just want everyone to

feel better and to feel good and to find answers within ourselves because we

where we're older we've got wisdom we've got with we're strong because we've

we've been through battle I would love everyone to have this knowledge and this

wisdom and yeah I I have it I feel so good

about it and I'd love to share it with you thank you for watching please let me

know if you've listened to Abraham Hicks before and let me know if it's helped

you in your life to to grow a little bit stronger every day thank you for

watching please subscribe if you haven't already done so and I'd love to hear

your thoughts on this have a great day
