[Eng sub] Siyeon (Dreamcatcher) - Faded (Alan Walker Cover) Reaction (in spanish) - Duration: 5:33.

This version is very powerful.

If you listened to the little part I did with the piano

you will realize that the original song was very slow.

Hello, how are you my youtube friends?

I'm Julian from Jul Geek.Ar channel.

and today I am going to react to the new video of Happyface entertainment

It's a cover of the Faded song by Alan Walker

made by Siyeon.

Siyeon, if she's not my bias, she's one of my favorites inside of Dreamcatcher.

Siyeon is the main vocal and is the one who

likes Rock the most within the group.

Just yesterday I was trying to play the song

Faded by Alan Walker.

So, what a coincidence that Siyeon sing the same one.

So I'll give you a touch of what I was doing on the piano:

Let's go to camera 2:

Well, that's just what I got.

The whole song is almost the same (there are always 4 chords).

So, let's not waste any more time and let's see the song

Siyeon doing Faded by Alan Walker.

We go with the video, at 1, at 2 and at 3.

There's Siyeon

I see an abandoned house.

Ahh ok.

It's a good rock cover.

This is the beginning of the song?

Wow !!!

Those flares were also in Alan Walker's video.

This version is very powerful.

If you listened to the little part I did with the piano

you will realize that the original song was very slow.

On top of that, Siyeon with that look makes the song even darker.

That place may have been used for another of the covers

right?

I do not know if it was one of the covers.

Or was one of their slow songs

I could be confused.

That part was very powerful!

The bass back rocks there.

Ahh, the bass!

The bass sounds good.

It has a mix of good rocker song with electronic sounds.

Well, That was Siyeon's cover of Faded by Alan Walker.

A very heavy version,

heavy and electronic.

The 2 things at the same time.

So I loved the song.

I do not know about you

I would have to look to see if it was in the same pitch as the original.

The original is in D#m, we should see what it is.

I'm going to test it.

Yes, this version is also in D#m

So, I loved the song, I do not know about you.

Well, this has been my reaction.

If you liked it, please, give a thumbs up, subscribe to my channel

And we will see you for a next video.

So, see you !!!

Bye!!!

059 Carla & Hanna - Duration: 15:35.

This is all just still really new

The accident, then the news about the second kidney...

She'll adapt to the new situation soon. Hm?

Oh come on, smile again!

Oh! Excuse me for disturbing your cozy togetherness.

Good morning

Carla, I really need to talk to you

Sure, sit down

I don't have any secrets from Bernd

Carla's day is going to be stressful enough, at least allow her a peaceful breakfast

Oh, I'd love to! If you would please leave us alone then?

== Can't it wait till later? == That's all right, I have to get to the office anyway.

There's nothing like a dutiful employee

If there's anything I can do for you, then call me, all right?

Are you that busy?

Yes. And plus, I have to get to customs. The new shipment from Singapore has arrived.

== Oh, with the chest for Ms. von Anstetten? == Yes.

If you'd like, I can take over that task for you. And also the appointment with Ms. von Anstetten.

Yeah, sure. Thank you!

Mm! No problem, I have something to sort out with her anyway.

Well, what was so urgent that you wanted to talk to me about?

Oh, I'm not going to bore you with a bunch of details right now

Most of the time Hanna doesn't let on how she's feeling. But I can sense exactly how distressed she is.

The dialysis is just a temporary solution. After the transplant, she'll be able to live practically a normal life.

Yeah, and until then?

You said yourself that the waiting list can take at least six years

Hanna won't be able to endure that

Is there no other option then for somehow getting a donor organ more quickly?

I'm sure you're worrying about your acquaintance?

Yes. She's my best friend.

If she had some money...

You're always hearing about various possibilities... for obtaining an organ through not quite official channels

You want to BUY a kidney?! You can't be serious.

Hey, it was just a suggestion!

Anyhow. Customs is waiting. Ciao!

== Heyyy. == Here you go.

== Oh gosh, this is really sweet. == Oh. Aren't you going to have breakfast with us?

No. I have to pick up Carolin from Arno and Elisabeth.

But still, you came at exactly the right moment. Bon appetit.

== Thank you. == Thank you.

On that note...

All packed with vitamins, so you'll soon be fit as a fiddle again

This all looks really delicious..., but--

Don't be telling me you aren't hungry. You will be, once you start eating.

Too much phosphorous, too much salt, too much potassium

You aren't allowed to eat any of this?

Dialysis diet

But I AM looking forward to THIS

Well at least there's that

For our next breakfast I'll know

I'm so glad I have you guys

You and Isabell

And Carla

== Yes. == Without her I don't know what I'd do.

Yes, it's nice that she's so supportive of you

How are you doing today?

I'm doing much, much better

Lars was looking after me, very sweet

So? What's new out in the big wide world?

Not much. I've been thinking.

I hope about our vacation. By the sea.

Indirectly

Yeah yeah, I know, camping's not an option

With a transplant things would be easier

There's simply no suitable donor in my circle of acquaintances right now

== I know. == It's not like I wanna wait six years, either, before I can go on vacation again.

But that's what I'm talking about. There are countries where there is no waiting list for organ donations.

What do you mean?

I could get you a kidney from another country

== Count Lahnstein? == What is it?!

I need some more data on the conference center for Brandner Construction

I thought you already had all the information?

First you would have to make all of it completely available to me

That's ancient Chinese

== Quite rare. == Hm?

== Where did you get ahold of this gem? == You'll have to ask my sister.

Carla, of course, I should have known

Uh, so have you found the hidden compartment?

Hidden compartment?

Ah! These things - practically all of them have a concealed mechanism.

Yeah, the Chinese, they've always been a crafty bunch

WAIT !

Uh... yeah, I'm sorry, I don't have time for such frivolousness right now. Here, you go take care of your work, all right?

== Well...?! == Of course.

Just like I thought

Organ trafficking is not only repugnant, it's also illegal. I hope you realize that!

But just imagine! You could eat and drink whatever you wanted to again, do sports.

We could travel. And you would have your old life back!

You're crazy

It would be at someone else's cost, I could never reconcile that with my conscience

But you aren't FORCING anyone to do anything

What's the difference between someone voluntarily selling you his kidney versus giving it to you out of friendship?

You've lost your mind!

I would be taking advantage of a human being's desperation

Hanna, I love you!

And I would do anything for you to be happy again

I simply don't care about other people right now!

I've never seen you like this before

You don't have to decide right away

Take time to think about it: whether you can stand living with this machine for another six years

Hanna, you would have your old life back!

== I'm not doing it. == But why NOT?!!

All you have to do is say 'yes' and I will take care of all the rest!

You really believe everything can be solved with money!

I just want to see you happy again

And if I have to buy a kidney to accomplish that, then I'll do it!

Carla! Why do you think someone in another country sells their organs?!! Do you really want to gain from the misery of other people?!!

NO, of course not. You're more important to me.

I love you!

Then stop doing this! It's out of the question, and that's final!

Don't be so stubborn

Shit. Leave me alone, I'm not feeling well.

An illegal organ donation? You can't possibly be serious?!

Is Hanna supposed to be dependent on that machine for years?! I can't just sit and watch that!!

Oh, and so you're willing to accept the suffering of other people in exchange?!

But they're selling their kidneys by choice!

By choice?! I mean--

Those people live in a poverty that we can't even IMAGINE

Really Carla! That's not only against the law, there's nothing in this world that can justify it.

And you're not helping Hanna this way, either!

She won't hear of it anyway

And I have a lot of respect for that, too. People in her situation are happy to grasp at any straw.

But there must be SOMETHING we can do!

Maybe we've overlooked a potential donor

Ach... anybody who was a possibility has already been checked

Even Hanna's SISTER

Hello. Is Hanna still upstairs?

Yes. But it would be better to try back later, she's resting right now.

How's Hanna doing with her new situation anyway?

She doesn't say how she feels

Yeah, she's a real lionheart

If I could at least talk to her doctor. But he isn't allowed to give me any information.

Couldn't you try talking to him? As a colleague?

I'll try

Then it's possible things don't look all so bad?

== Don't say anything to Ms. Novak, please! == Of course not.

== Thank you very much, Doctor. == No problem.

What are you not supposed to tell Hanna?

Carla! Eavesdropping is not the nicest habit!

So what?! This is about HANNA. So, what's going on?

You just heard - I'm supposed to keep it to myself

Hanna is my girlfriend. If there's any news, then I want to know it!

There's nothing definite yet!

Don't torture me any longer! What's going on?

Is it something bad?

No. In that regard, I can definitely reassure you.

So, then is there possibly a suitable donor after all?

== Carla, please don't put me in an awkward situation. == So it's true.

Yes and no. But don't get your hopes up too high.

What does that mean?

All right, fine. You won't leave me in peace anyhow. We might have found a matching donor.

But that's fantastic!

Listen to the end, first. The person in question ... is wavering about the consent.

Yes, but still! That's wonderful news.

== For the last time, I don't KNOW who the donor is. == Then talk to Dr. Mallmann again.

The person wants to remain anonymous, we have to respect that

All right, fine. With certainty, it isn't anybody we know - they were all ineligible. But who is it then?

Please stop speculating!

But WHY? Don't you find this all exceedingly strange?

Why would somebody subject themselves to all the blood tests and then not give their consent after all?

Because it's quite a big step to donate your own kidney! And not completely without risk, either.

Yes, that's all understandable. But that's exactly why we have to find them and make it clear how much they can help Hanna.

== You can't do that! == Why not?!

== Because they have to come to a decision freely, and without outside influence. == I just want to give them a little nudge.

== Well I am REALLY glad you don't know the name. == I'll find out who it is!

Don't count on my help! I am categorically against it.

Plus which, it falls under medical confidentiality

Thank you! So there ARE still gentlemen.

Not every man of nobility is like Ansgar

Oh, please don't mention HIM! Unfortunately, we're stuck with having to rely on people like that.

Mhm, unfortunately

But in exchange, he is quite useful, isn't he?

If he knew his grand construction project was just for laundering money...

Hm, we'd better keep that to ourselves

Little secrets that bind

Yes... unfortunately, at the moment, there are problems

== Oh? == Mhm.

Our partnership might soon be over, which I would find VERY sad

Oh, I'm sure there's something that can be done

Yes, perhaps you can help me

Sure, what should I do?

I would temporarily need some cash. Can you inconspicuously pull that from the construction project?

Of course. I'm in charge of more than just petty cash. How much do we need?

I'd say about... two million

Just for a short time. You'll get it back soon.

Well, I'm afraid a transaction like that... isn't compatible with bookkeeping principles

You coward, you're just afraid of taking on Ansgar

== Hello. == Hello. - There's a donor??

Yes. But they haven't consented yet. But like I said - this is all strictly confidential.

Oh, I can keep my mouth shut. Are you going to let Hanna know?

Leonard doesn't think that's a good idea. But I think Hanna could really use some news right now that boosts her morale.

Well, I'm afraid Leonard is right. Wouldn't you rather wait until it's really certain?

I mean, otherwise you'd be giving her false hope

I'm going to make sure this person helps Hanna

Who is it anyway, do you have a hunch?

We probably don't know them. The blood tests of all our acquaintances were negative.

An unknown person who gets tested anonymously for Hanna?

I don't believe that

== What, you think we know them? == Well, that's more likely.

== Yeah, but that would mean... == ...that somebody's lying.

I can't picture that! Which of our friends would let Hanna down when they can save her?

== I'll be right with you guys, all right? == Sure.

Maybe this unknown person just wants to buy time, to give it some thought

I'm going to figure out who it is. And then I'm REALLY going to put the pressure on.

If nothing happens in the next two days, I'll help you find them, okay?

But until then, I ask you: don't do anything! And above all, don't tell Hanna anything about it.

Agreed?

From this point on, I'm pulling myself together

I've gotten myself some literature

'Mastering the Crisis: Day-to-Day with Dialysis'

Sounds great, don't you think?

You won't need it much longer!

Why's that?

Why won't I need it much longer?

Carla, is there something new?

Is there... a donor?

No. Unfortunately not.

97 over 58

Lower than yesterday

Come on, I'm sure that has to do with the weather. My blood pressure is way low today, too.

However, you aren't getting sick after the dialysis anymore

Yeah well, I've gotten used to being constantly ambushed by nausea

The two of us have gotten to be really good friends, so to speak

And we will remain so, my life long

Nonsense, Hanna! I'm sure a compatible donor will turn up soon. Hm?

Or not

Hopefully we'll hear from the potential donor soon!

Hanna is suffering more and more every day

Meet Japanese Geisha and Kabuki Wig Master in Kyoto | Hyesoo in Japan (sub) - Duration: 8:05.

Thank you!

Shinkansen!

To have a more in-depth experience of Japanese traditional culture

I will head towards Kansai

The first stop would be Japan's "thousand-year capital"—Kyoto

Kyoto is also where Japan's ancient cultures are best preserved

Tranquil, elegant, and self-possessed

Unlike the modern metropolis of Tokyo

Kyoto unravels like a Tokugawa-era painting scroll

As you take a walk around Kyoto

you'll pass by many exquisite and quaint shop fronts

This appears to be candy?

Is this candy?

they are jelly

Oh jelly?

yes,ma'am

It's all handmade?

right

right

very very traditional

I tried this when I was very small

ok can I have one please?

certainly ma'am

thank you very much

thank you so much

I'll see you next time!

You might even catch a glimpse of posters with Kabuki performers or Maiko figures

I'm curious what it'd be like if I were to time-travel to ancient Japan?

Elaborate hairstyles, luxurious accessories

a geisha sports different hairstyles during different phases of her career

As an apprentice, from age 15 to 21

a maiko uses her own hair to make lavish hairdos

When she turns 21, she becomes a geisha

a geisha and needs wigs and fabrics for her hairstyles.

Are you curious to find out what this place is?

This is one of the most renowned katsura wig shops in Kansai

They provide handmade wigs to all entertainers in Kyoto.

Here, a master wig-making inherited the family business 40 years ago.

Using traditional tools

he combs the wig carefully strand by strand !

Various raw materials are used such as horse's tail

and of course human hair.

We use yak hair too. For the Kabuki performance

Renjishi (Two Lions), imported yak's hair is used for lion's mane

looks like a lot of grease was applied on there

in order to affix all the hair and give it a glossy appearance

For hair wax, wax

water and oil are the main ingredients

This is traditional Japanese hair wax

This is curled hair

Bangs are often curled. Headgears have some curls too

We straighten them with an iron, and they look a lot prettier

To tie the bangs and make it straight, we use this tool

Oh you use your foot to control

This requites usage of tools from the past right?

this tool was used since 300 years ago

yes, they're passed down from my ancestors

Would this be very heavy?

With better technology and new techniques, it weighs a lot less now

the fine texture closely resembles human hair

It's all human hair

With artificial hair, you cannot achieve the same result

Every hair-piece can be used around 10 times

But if you preserve the hair carefully with oil

you could make it last for decades

it would be quicker and easier to use modern tools

Why do you maintain the traditional methods for each step of wig making?

Good question

The comb is made of boxwood

It has a natural adhesive quality not found in any chemical materials

this is sticky, and tende

During our conversation

, the wig master finished making a wig just like that!

it's finished

it must all be painted white

because this area is already painted white

It's not like that. Would you like to try?

Could I ?

Can I ?

I was given the opportunity to wear this wig designated for performers!

Suddenly, two men pulled all of my hair up

I'm a little nervous

Like this, tie the hair up tightly

pull it up, make sure it is so tight that even your face feels taut

this is a rare chance

I didn't know I could try on the wig that's just made

Ah…so that's how it's worn!

Actually, this piece of wig is lighter than I thought

How do I look?

Can I see a mirror please?

so it's because of the wig their eyes on stage are…

You are awesome !

Do I look Japanese to you?

My father spent his entire life studying this

I inherited the skills from him

At first, I tried to achieve his level of mastery

and then I kept on studying further

This is what Japan's traditional arts are like

It's so profound that there's no end

This is tradition. And people in Japan are still devoted to it

Japan's traditional culture is very profound

It takes more than a generation to master

So father passes it to son

It takes two to three generations to study a particular trade

Japanese dancing has its traditional rules, so does Kabuki

It's too profound for just one generation

so it requires the dedication of several generations

and that's what it takes to be called a traditional craftsmanship

I alone cannot do it, I must pass it on to the younger generation

Hairstyles from Edo Japan were passed down this way

As long as people still believe in preserving traditional culture

the artisans in that field will not vanish

In Yucatan isn't a mandatory recycle

But in some places they separate the garbage

Legaly not but they contaminate the environment

They put it in a deposit like a hole

Popular ways to recycle is recolect pet and cans

Some tips to recycle are:

Crafts whit cans or other things we can recycle

Ehh

You can make sprinkles with pet

And you can use huacales to make furniture

5 Signs your child is ready to be potty trained - Duration: 2:27.

Hi, I'm Stacey from Stacey Jane's Nappy Cakes Over the next couple of minutes I wanted to

talk about the 5 Signs your child is ready to be toilet trained.

Taking care of your little one is something you would not trade for anything in this world.

Watching them sail through their milestones is a joy despite the challenges.

As soon as your child turns about 18 months old it is time for yet another challenge:

Is your child ready to be toilet trained?

There is really no usual age at which a toddler starts showing signs of readiness for toilet

training.

It can be anywhere between 18 months and three years.

If you are wondering if they are ready for toilet training, here are some signs to indicate

readiness.

1.

A dry nappy or diaper for hours

It is a sign they can already control their well-developed bladder.

Predictable bowel schedule This means you can predict the time when they

are most likely to poo and make them sit on their potty trainer.

3.

Signaling their desire to pee or poo

Your tot's attempt to communicate (verbally or non-verbally) is a manifestation of their

consciousness of their body function.

The awareness will make them stop what they are doing to tell you they are going to pee

or poo.

Use of words to mean "defecate" and "urinate" As these words are a "mouthful," and are

words we don't commonly use they may use some jargon that is easy to say and remember, such

as "poo" and "pee." 5.

The ability to pull up and down their own pants

This is a physical sign that they are ready to do what's basic when "nature calls."

Once your toddler is ready for toilet training, they will bask in their independence and achievement.

So, give them the space to try the toilet on their own with some guidance and don't

forget to praise them.

As your child becomes a little more independent, you too can better enjoy parenthood with a

toilet trained toddler in the house.

Gareth Morgan - Baseball (MLB) Training Success Story - Duration: 2:22.

My name is Gareth Morgan.

I'm a member of the Seattle Mariners, currently in the minor leagues, working to achieve my

goal of making it to the major leagues and having a long career.

I started training at LPS probably around grade 10, on and off back then, when I first

got introduced.

I didn't start really coming in on a regular basis until I was drafted, and every off-season

from then I've been coming to LPS to get bigger, stronger, faster, and all that good stuff.

I just loved the atmosphere, when you come to the gym it's just a bunch of guys who wanna

get better, everyone has the same goal, being the best they can be and it kinda gives you

that motivation and pushes each other to be greater than you think you can actually be.

Before I was just training at local gyms, GoodLife, stuff like that, and it's not really

the same, there's guys in here that just want you to succeed, instead of just you, going

to the gym trying to get big and strong, there's 10 other guys in here that are hoping the

same thing for you, and you're hoping the same thing for them, so the atmosphere is

just great.

The training at LPS makes me faster, stronger, gives me the kind of core strength that not

many guys in the field have.

I feel like I have a bit of an advantage when I step on the field, and I try to take that

to become the best player I can be, and take my game ahead of people around me.

When I first started coming here I was probably 6'4," 195 pounds, and now I'm 6'4," 250.

Yeah, I've grown a little bit, but it's night and day.

What it's like to train at LPS is it's fun, it's hard, it's kind of like a family, as

soon as you walk in the door people are greeting you, everyone has the same goal in mind.

When you come in here no one's slacking, everyone's trying to get after it, and seeing that just

pushes you.

You won't come to the gym and have a bad workout, because tons of guys are watching, coaches

are watching and it kind of pushes you that extra inch, that extra mile, to become better

everyday.

If I had to give advice to an aspiring baseball player I'd say LPS is a great choice, you

come to LPS, you start doing the programs, you won't have to worry about, oh am I gonna

be strong enough to compete?

That'll be the last of your worries.

When you start training at LPS the only thing you have to worry about is getting your work

in from the baseball side, because your body will be taken care of.

Fabion Foote - Football (CFL) Training Success Story - Duration: 1:50.

I'm Fabion Foote, defensive tackle, Montreal Alouettes.

The main reason I want to do something different than what other athletes are doing is because

LPS is very specific in training for your sport.

For example, I play football, and instead of doing a basic workout for basic results,

I choose to train here because I get the maximum results that I want to help me get better

on the football field.

I've been training at LPS since 2015, specifically in the off season, but now, since I'm in the

league, I could train here for four to five months straight before I go back to Montreal.

Before I was training at LPS, I wasn't really doing anything.

I would just go into the gym without a real plan and what I'm doing for my workout, but

ever since I came here, I have structure in my workout, and I know exactly what I'm doing

and what I need to do to excel on the football field.

Since being at LPS, I've noticed that I've been faster, definitely stronger, and my endurance

level has gone up, and my overall physique changed.

It's definitely made me stronger physically, but specifically mentally, because the long

volume days really keeps me going late in the fourth quarter football games.

For people that are getting into football, it's very important to set your goals and

meet your goals.

You gotta work hard every day, whether it's in the classroom or the weight room.

Your eating habits, everything, you have to be strict and focus on what you want to do.

Specifically, you just gotta work hard.

I think that's the most important thing.

Even if you don't know the direction you're going into, you just gotta push yourself in

the weight room and it'll help you get to where you want to go.

Malik Collymore - Baseball (MLB) Training Success Story - Duration: 1:43.

My name's Malik Collymore.

I'm a baseball player in the Cincinnati Reds Organization.

I play second base and outfield.

I am 22 years old and I've been playing professional baseball for four years now.

Before I trained at LPS, I was on my own minor league program, so, the various teams that

I played with would send me a program and I would follow it on my own.

I didn't really have my own trainers following me, giving me their own specific program.

I found out about LPS through a former teammate of mine, Gareth Morgan.

I saw him through social media, doing various lifts that I was interested in, and I asked

him about it and I reached out and I started training with Clance and the LPS team about

four months ago.

Since training at LPS, baseball wise, I've felt a lot more flexible through defense,

through my swing, my throwing arm has felt a lot of gains, a lot more effortless, better

velocity with my throws, and overall, just felt like a more complete baseball player.

I been hearing through a lot of people that my body looks a lot more flexible, a lot looser.

Meanwhile, still maintaining all the strength that I have had, and gaining even more strength,

so, I've gained a lot of good progress through training with LPS.

Some advice I would give to a young baseball player would be to don't be afraid to be different.

Don't be afraid to follow your own training plan.

Go where other people haven't gone before.

Don't listen to every single coach that you've talked to.

Know who knows what's best for you, and stick with the coaches that know what's best for

you.

Latoya Ward - Mother - Executive Training Success Story - Duration: 1:14.

My name's Latoya Ward.

Currently I'm on maternity leave.

I had a daughter seven months ago but other than that, I work for State Street financial

institution in Toronto.

Previous to LPS I was training at GoodLife.

Then I went to LPS three years ago.

Well no, two years ago.

Found out I was pregnant, had to stop and then recently started training back a month

ago.

In the month that I've been training with LPS, I've seen a lot of results.

My clothes fit better.

I'm not afraid to look in the mirror after just being a new mom, and I see more muscle

definition coming in.

The culture at LPS, I love it.

Everybody's welcoming but yet it's still challenging.

It forces you to push yourself because you're working out with people who, well training

with people who are real athletes so it pushes you just to go that extra step and it's the

best workout that I've had in years.

For new moms or even moms that had a baby a year ago, two years ago, you have to find

time for yourself.

I would recommend LPS because the environment is very challenging but yet rewarding.

You don't get instant results but you'll get results that will last and you feel good when

you go home.

You have a lot of energy for your kids.

Brandon Farmer - Executive Training Success Story - Duration: 0:43.

Hi my name's Brandon Farmer, I'm the the owner of Baro Restaurant in downtown Toronto.

Before LPS I was actually working out at GoodLife with a personal trainer provided by the gym.

The reason why I chose LPS is it's very different.

It's very performance-based.

I live a fast-pace, high-stress lifestyle.

There's something magical about the gym, when I come here, the energy, the people that you're

training with.

It just changes the game.

It changes my mental state.

And my results has been ten-fold.

Even little things as day-to-day back injuries and things that normally would have pain with

are gone and on top of that, I just feel great and I'm better at my job and better at what

I do.

RBA Cash Rate February 2018 - Commentary by Ben Kingsley - Duration: 6:38.

Today Governor Lowe and the Board met for the very first time in 2018, and they kept

the cash rate on hold at 1.5%.

Again, no surprises there.

The reason for that is because inflation numbers came out last week and the overall year-to-date

number for 2017 was only 1.9%.

We all know that they want to keep the inflation bandwidth between 2% – 3%; but we only

saw in the December quarter a 0.6% rise in inflation, led by transport education and

housing costs going up.

But, of course, all the things we're importing at the moment is getting cheaper and cheaper;

in terms of our technology and our non-discretionary stuff.

So these have obviously left the inflation figure at that lower point.

I wanted to spend a minute with you and talk about historical inflation.

We've got data from 1951 through to 2017, and I want to share with you some of the biggest

and smallest quarters.

Overall, over that extended period from 1951 – 2017, the inflation rate has, on average,

been 5.04%.

That's quite high considering we want to keep it lower than that — and that's the great

job The Reserve Bank has done with the monetary policy.

It's really incredible to see that is now low.

Because higher inflation obviously means higher pressure on the household budget.

The peak was actually in the fourth quarter of 1951, where inflation was running at greater

than 23%.

The smallest quarter, in terms of the biggest decline, was a -1.3% quarter in 1962.

They are big numbers.

It's interesting to watch how inflation has tracked over the longer period.

Right now, globally and also locally, we've got record low inflation, which is obviously

the reason why we've also got very, very low monetary policy and the cash rate is sitting

at record low levels.

Overall, The Reserved Governor and the Board have clearly said that is not the means for

actually extending or increasing the cash rate, even though they're quite eager to get

it off these record, what they might call emergency, low levels.

Part of that story is also around employment.

We saw a fantastic number: over 400,000 people found work in 2017.

That's an incredibly good number, and the Government, Federal and State Governments,

need to be congratulated on creating that many jobs.

The unemployment rate still sits at 5.5%.

This is still high and we still have a fairly high underemployment number in there as well.

So the Reserve Board are going to be watching it carefully because, broadly speaking, global

economic news is really positive.

We're seeing good numbers out of Europe, we're seeing America doing well, and we're also

seeing Asia doing really well.

Globally, there's a lot of confidence in the market place and that is fed through to business

confidence here in Australia and also consumer confidence here.

So that is good news.

Once we see inflation moving higher, and we also see that spare capacity in the employment

market getting absorbed, we will see rates go higher.

So that's the cash rate.

But, importantly, this doesn't mean the banks won't move rates outside of cycles.

We saw what happened last year — in terms of changes around interest only lending and

also investment lending.

The new release of the Basel III paper came out globally, and there's some interesting

reading in there that is concerning to me, obviously as an investor, in regards to residential

property investment.

What they do is they set risk ratings in different loan-to-value ratios.

Loan-to-value ratios is the difference between the value of the property and the loan against

that property.

These risk ratings are different to APRA's risk ratings.

We're possibly going to see APRA come out and give their guidance around the LVR risk

rating.

The higher the loan-to-value ratio; the higher the risk rating.

Potentially, what they're talking about here is giving different risk ratings, depending

on the type of security and where the income's coming from to service that loan.

Let me explain it.

If we get an owner-occupied debt then the income to service the loan usually comes from

working.

Okay, but if we get an investment property, we've got income coming from the rent to help

service that property.

Basically, what Basel III and APRA are looking at, is how much of the rental income coming

in from that property is actually used to service that debt.

The higher the proportion, they're putting a higher risk rating on.

This could leave the banks to argue that they could potentially increase investment lending.

And that's concerning for us because, ironically — and this is my most important point to

all the bankers out there — the default rate of the un-servicing of mortgages is usually

higher for owner-occupiers than it is for investors.

Yes, obviously we have seen more investors coming to the market because they can see

how great property investment can be, but it's also important to understand that they

may be hitting us a little bit harder, when I might argue that there's greater risk in

delinquency rates in owner-occupied mortgages as there are in investor mortgages

So that's one to watch.

Even though we think the cash rate won't change and if it does, it won't be at a large level,

we also need to understand that it doesn't stop the banks from moving rates a little

bit higher.

So, as I've always said, make sure you've got a buffer.

Make sure when you're doing your household budget that you can factor in, at the very

minimum, one hundred basis points difference — so 1% difference — in the interest rate

you're paying.

But, more conservatively, it should be more 2%.

Don't overextend yourself in personal debt and personal household expenditure if you

can't service this.

Start putting this money aside, putting it in the offset, and building up that equity

to make sure this money works for you in 2018 and beyond.

Thanks for watching.

Meet Japanese Geisha and Kabuki Wig Master in Kyoto | Hyesoo in Japan (sub) - Duration: 8:05.

Thank you!

Shinkansen!

To have a more in-depth experience of Japanese traditional culture

I will head towards Kansai

The first stop would be Japan's "thousand-year capital"—Kyoto

Kyoto is also where Japan's ancient cultures are best preserved

Tranquil, elegant, and self-possessed

Unlike the modern metropolis of Tokyo

Kyoto unravels like a Tokugawa-era painting scroll

As you take a walk around Kyoto

you'll pass by many exquisite and quaint shop fronts

This appears to be candy?

Is this candy?

they are jelly

Oh jelly?

yes,ma'am

It's all handmade?

right

right

very very traditional

I tried this when I was very small

ok can I have one please?

certainly ma'am

thank you very much

thank you so much

I'll see you next time!

You might even catch a glimpse of posters with Kabuki performers or Maiko figures

I'm curious what it'd be like if I were to time-travel to ancient Japan?

Elaborate hairstyles, luxurious accessories

a geisha sports different hairstyles during different phases of her career

As an apprentice, from age 15 to 21

a maiko uses her own hair to make lavish hairdos

When she turns 21, she becomes a geisha

a geisha and needs wigs and fabrics for her hairstyles.

Are you curious to find out what this place is?

This is one of the most renowned katsura wig shops in Kansai

They provide handmade wigs to all entertainers in Kyoto.

Here, a master wig-making inherited the family business 40 years ago.

Using traditional tools

he combs the wig carefully strand by strand !

Various raw materials are used such as horse's tail

and of course human hair.

We use yak hair too. For the Kabuki performance

Renjishi (Two Lions), imported yak's hair is used for lion's mane

looks like a lot of grease was applied on there

in order to affix all the hair and give it a glossy appearance

For hair wax, wax

water and oil are the main ingredients

This is traditional Japanese hair wax

This is curled hair

Bangs are often curled. Headgears have some curls too

We straighten them with an iron, and they look a lot prettier

To tie the bangs and make it straight, we use this tool

Oh you use your foot to control

This requites usage of tools from the past right?

this tool was used since 300 years ago

yes, they're passed down from my ancestors

Would this be very heavy?

With better technology and new techniques, it weighs a lot less now

the fine texture closely resembles human hair

It's all human hair

With artificial hair, you cannot achieve the same result

Every hair-piece can be used around 10 times

But if you preserve the hair carefully with oil

you could make it last for decades

it would be quicker and easier to use modern tools

Why do you maintain the traditional methods for each step of wig making?

Good question

The comb is made of boxwood

It has a natural adhesive quality not found in any chemical materials

this is sticky, and tende

During our conversation

, the wig master finished making a wig just like that!

it's finished

it must all be painted white

because this area is already painted white

It's not like that. Would you like to try?

Could I ?

Can I ?

I was given the opportunity to wear this wig designated for performers!

Suddenly, two men pulled all of my hair up

I'm a little nervous

Like this, tie the hair up tightly

pull it up, make sure it is so tight that even your face feels taut

this is a rare chance

I didn't know I could try on the wig that's just made

Ah…so that's how it's worn!

Actually, this piece of wig is lighter than I thought

How do I look?

Can I see a mirror please?

so it's because of the wig their eyes on stage are…

You are awesome !

Do I look Japanese to you?

My father spent his entire life studying this

I inherited the skills from him

At first, I tried to achieve his level of mastery

and then I kept on studying further

This is what Japan's traditional arts are like

It's so profound that there's no end

This is tradition. And people in Japan are still devoted to it

Japan's traditional culture is very profound

It takes more than a generation to master

So father passes it to son

It takes two to three generations to study a particular trade

Japanese dancing has its traditional rules, so does Kabuki

It's too profound for just one generation

so it requires the dedication of several generations

and that's what it takes to be called a traditional craftsmanship

I alone cannot do it, I must pass it on to the younger generation

Hairstyles from Edo Japan were passed down this way

As long as people still believe in preserving traditional culture

the artisans in that field will not vanish
