Youtube daily report w Feb 23 2018

My name is Vitor Py, and I'm the Pillarista you're gonna meet today.

I met David on LinkedIn

And...

on LinkedIn, some day, I said: "This guy who writes interesting stuff..."

"...is calling people for a Slack..."

"...to talk about blockchain."

At the time I wasn't looking for a job

I was fairly happy with the job I had at that time

But I was looking for

a blockchain project,

that I could repurpose

as a master thesis,

because I wanted to go back to university.

Then I started collaborating

with David, and we eventually

started talking about the Personal Data Locker

And...

At some point they said: "Hey, let's try to do this."

And there was a phrase from David

That...

I'll never, never forget

Because at the time I was very conservative

I said: "David we can't do this, because..."

"our whitepapers don't go into technical details. It's not detailed enough."

And David just wrote -- I doubt he remembers it

But he said to me: "We sell the dream."

I said: "Yeah, we sell the dream!"

And we sold the dream

And now it's our task, our duty

To build this dream

That's been our full-time job.

Before Pillar, I had two big projects in my life

One for my own company, other working for a large software company

And my own company was fairly small

Then I was the technical lead for

a large,

eight-digit budget project for a multinational corporation

And, at the time, it was very rewarding from a technical perspective

But, at some point, I realized

that project was...

completely useless...

for me as a human being.

I got some small bonus for that.

I dedicated maybe a year or two...

of working I don't know how many hours

But there was no purpose.

After it was over,

I was just a very tired guy

At the time I thought about leaving software

I thought about, I don't know, buying a shop or something like that.

And when I found Pillar

Pillar was the chance to...

not only build what I love...

and I love software, I've been coding since I was a kid, since I was seven...

but it was a chance to do what I love...

with people I like...

doing something that matters.

As a dev, say you're fresh out of college.

What's the most common thing you're going to do?

You're going to walk into an enterprise company...

and work on enterprise software.

Enterprise software is boring.

No one goes to computer science...

and says: "Man, I'd really like to work on accounting applications!"

Accounting is actually very fun.

But...

Usually you don't really think that...

about that, like that.

You don't think about working on payroll.

If you've been doing this for a while...

and you've been living the life of a developer for a while...

you don't want to go to a place...

and fight that process, lots of legacy code...

and Pillar doesn't have anything like that.

We have very nice processes in place.

We are always improving them.

It's autonomy driven.

It's a nice place to work.

We have smart co-workers.

Pillar still has a lot of opportunities for technical leadership

and to actually make a big contribution to how we build software.

It's not only an opportunity to come here and write code...

but to come here and make an impact on the software team...

both on software engineering and architecture perspective.

We are big believers in autonomy and self-management.

These are words you'll hear often around the office.

So we strive to build small teams with smart people...

give them missions...

and give them targets...

and try to have this team self-organise.

So no bossy PM's telling you...

step by step what you should do...

but you actually have autonomy...

as a software developer to understand the task you have...

and find the best way to build it.

If you're a software guy, volunteering is something quite natural...

If you want to learn something new, you either hit a book...

or go look for an open-source project to contribute to.

If you just came here one day...

to have a coffee...

you're going to meet some interesting people.

Maybe you're going to make a friend or two.

And you're going to see a different place to work.

Different as in uncommon...

for companies to operate like Pillar does.

So...

come and join. And see.

Some people will fit in...

some people will be thrilled by the energy...

and the movement you can see in the office.

Some people, I'm pretty sure, will say: "No, this is not for me."

And that's fine.

But, if you're one of the few...

who comes and sees this crazy bunch of people...

and says: "I want to be part of them"...

then you've found your place. And not an easy place to find.

We are aiming for four million downloads in the first year.

We are building something that...

we want to put in every single country...

every single hand, if we're able to.

So this is a chance to work in a project that has actual global impact.

More than that.

It's a company that's bold enough to take on challenges...

that look just like that...

And says: "Hey..."

"let's build something that will be on the hands of every single person on this planet."

And you're not going to walk into just any company...

as they will not be bold enough...

to try and do something like that. You have to be a bit crazy.

And we are that good kind of crazy.

We take the hard challenges,

we tackle them, full on,

and we go on.

That's a dream job for me.

And I'm pretty sure that's a dream job for a lot of people out there too.

I'm really happy that I've found my place in the world...

to have found this group of people that I belong to.

And please, check it out. Maybe you'll belong here too.

Reality TV Stars Who Are Currently In Jail - Duration: 4:48.

While most reality TV careers are short-lived, the stars on this list ended whatever chance

they had at fame in a different way: by going to prison.

Here are some cast members who, as of the making of this video, are still stuck in the

slammer.

Renee Alway

Famous for America's Next Top Model and its spin-off series, Modelville, Renee Alway found

herself far from the glamour of the runway when she was sentenced to 12 years in prison

in 2014.

Alway pleaded guilty to "four burglary counts and one count each of vehicle theft and being

a felon in possession of a firearm — all felonies — and a misdemeanor count of identity

theft" related to her brazen Palm Springs crime spree.

By entering a plea agreement, Alway avoided additional charges of

"...receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a

forged check and resisting an officer."

Speaking with ABC affiliate K-E-S-Q during a jailhouse interview in 2015, Alway, a mother

of three, relayed the story of how she became homeless and addicted to heroin after her

modeling career failed to launch.

"Once you're on that downward spiral, it's nearly impossible to stop."

Joshua Tel Warner

Though his appearance on The Discovery Channel's docu-series, Deadliest Catch was short-lived,

it gave Joshua Tel Warner just the right amount of exposure needed to get himself tossed in

prison.

He ended his televised fishing career with a mini bank-robbing spree that earned him

nine and a half years behind bars, according to The Register-Guard.

Detectives apprehended Warner after viewers recognized him from surveillance footage that

aired on local news.

Warner's sentence was the result of a plea deal he took in May 2010, in which he copped

to three second-degree robbery charges relating to the Eugene, Oregon banks he held up between

2007 and 2009.

The deal reduced his sentence from a potential 30 years down to just under a decade, but

it means he has no chance of early release.

Richard Wyatt

In 2011, Richard Wyatt somehow landed himself a reality show on the Discovery Channel called

American Guns, which featured the daily operations of his gun shop, Gunsmoke . This is pretty

remarkable, considering he'd forfeited his federal firearms license in 2009, according

to the Denver Post.

Nevertheless, the show continued for two years, as did Wyatt's gun dealing and gunsmithing

business, which he was able to continue operating by processing transactions through another

gun shop, according to the Department of Justice.

On top of fraudulently selling firearms, Wyatt also failed to properly file taxes for both

his personal income and businesses from 2009 to 2012, in an apparent attempt to hide hundreds

of thousands of dollars.

Wyatt was arrested in March 2015 after an ATF raid seized "583 guns and ammunition"

from his shop.

In March 2017, after five days of deliberation, a jury found Wyatt guilty on two counts of

"conspiracy to deal in firearms without a license," as well as seven of the tax-related

charges.

A March 2017 statement from the DOJ said that Wyatt would be facing "up to 5 years in prison

per count for each of the two counts of conspiracy," and "not more than 1 year per count for each

tax count," meaning he could be in jail for up to 17 years.

Mendeecees Harris

Love & Hip Hop: New York star Mendeecees Harris has long claimed that he was a small player

in larger drug operation that was moving large quantities of cocaine and heroin from New

York City upstate between 2005 and 2012.

But instead of risking a possible 20 year sentence, he took a plea deal in December

2015 and got slapped with 97 months in the slammer.

However, recent changes in federal sentencing guidelines provided a glimmer of hope for

an early release for Harris… until a judge ruled to uphold his original sentence.

Harris' January 2017 petition for a lighter sentence, which was obtained by TMZ, just

didn't convince the judge.

Harris states that he was never accused of setting prices, that he did not have knowledge

of the entire drug operation, and that he was simply "...collecting drugs from one party

and handing them to another."

Timothy R. Zickuhr

In a crime that sounds like it's straight out of a Coen brothers movie, Ice Road Truckers:

Deadliest Roads star Tim Zickuhr assaulted and kidnapped a prostitute name Snow White,

then walked right into an ad hoc sting operation she set up on the fly.

According to TMZ, it all started when Zickuhr gave Snow White his ATM card in order to pay

for services rendered.

He then accused her of taking too much money and arranged for a meeting the next day so

she could pay him back.

At this point, Zickuhr allegedly doused her with water, physically attacked her, restrained

her, then locked her in a closet and "demanded a phone number for someone who could get him

the money."

Snow White then reportedly gave him the number of a Vegas cop, who Zickuhr called, demanding

$1,000 or else he'd end her life.

The cop arranged a meeting and arrested Zickuhr.

He was eventually sentenced to "5 to 15 years in prison" after he plead guilty to "two felony

charges of first degree kidnapping and extortionate collection of debt," but not before denying

and discrediting Snow White's story to TMZ.

"My Hollywood career, from all this so-called 'talk,' is probably going to go down the tubes."

COMO CORTAR VESTIDO E TRANSFORMAR EM SAIA | Customizando Mariely Del Rey - Duration: 7:24.

(I.e.

I'm Mariely Del Rey of the Customizando blog,

and in today's video I'm going to teach you how to turn dresses into skirts.

And this tip is worth gold!

So give your like and keep watching this video that you will love!

If you are not yet subscribed to the channel, click the subscribe button,

and accompany me that every week has news here!

As I wear a lot of dress, a lot of skirt, for me this idea was very cool,

so I want to pass this knowledge on to you!

And this tip holds true for those dresses you've ever had to wear,

as well as for a dress that is large or small on the top,

but that the bottom, the skirt wears very well.

So it pays more to cut off this dress, and stick with the skirt,

than leaving the dress in the closet unused.

So I'm going to show you the transformation of that dress.

I really liked this dress when I saw it in the store,

and already bought thinking of doing some customization ...

'Cause that top part, it got too big for me ...

"The madwoman who goes out buying everything that is not good!" -

So I'm going to cut, I'm going to make a skirt.

I think this skirt will look very pretty.

Then you will see the transformation of this dress and another one then, are two ideas.

Now follow the step by step that is very easy to do!

To make the first skirt model, I wore this low-cut dress with swimmer's back,

but you can use this idea to make in any type of dress.

The first step is to stretch the dress on the table,

and measure how long you will want your skirt.

I used a seam chalk to mark where to cut,

but you can use a pen, or you can put a skirt on top and cut straight as well.

But remember to leave 3 centimeters more than you want to do the finish.

After marking everything, use a ruler to trace and then just cut with the scissors.

(I.e.

Now let's make the waistband that will be elastic.

Make a 3-inch fold and place pins.

Then, if you prefer, tinker all around.

I threaded it because my fabric was too thin and hard to work with.

After that, let's go to the sewing machine!

Let's put a seam on the underside of the fold we made.

You can do all the sewing by hand or in the sewing machine.

In the machine is much faster and practical.

The seam will look like this.

Now also make a seam on the top.

It's going to be like this ...

And finally, we will also pass a seam in the middle of the waistband.

So that waistband will have 3 seams like that.

Now take a cutting point or scissors

and dismantle the side of the skirt between two seams we made,

Let's make a hole in it where we're going to pass the rubber band.

(I.e.

Take the elastic and attach a pin to the tip.

But do not cut the rubber band yet, okay?

Take the pin and go through the hole.

Go through it through the seam and go pulling ...

(I.e.

Pull it all the way around until it comes out of the hole.

Go tucking the elastic until it is the size of your waist,

(I.e.

and then just cut, and fasten the two ends of the elastic giving a few stitches.

(I.e.

And to finish, you should stick the elastic in that slanted part

and give a pull on the fabric.

And you do not even have to sew this fake,

because it will not show up, only if you really want to.

And there it is .. A skirt made with dress! That you do very fast !!

(I.e.

For the second idea, I'm going to wear another dress that was very low-cut on me,

and it looks like the first, but it has those sidebars here.

And this dress we will not cut.

As it was done in parts,

we will use the cutting point to separate the top part from the bottom.

Put the dress inside out

and then go undoing all the seam of the dress that splices one part in the other.

(I.e.

After separating the parts, let's make the waistband.

Fold and mark with pins.

Then just sew on the machine or by hand, a simple seam.

And people are just that! Look how easy!

As it has these side bands, they will serve to tie and hold the skirt,

since it has no elastic and no zipper.

And it was beautiful with this mooring, was not it?

(I.e.

Write there in the comments which of these two skirts I taught here you liked

and if you've ever done something like that in your house, okay?

If you liked, remember to give your like

and your comment here, that I love answering your comment!

And share this video with your friends who like to do customization!

Well, that's it! A kiss and until the next video!

Ducati Multistrada 1260S, 2018 TEST [ENGLISH SUB] - Duration: 18:56.

Hey everyone, this is the Ducati Multistrada 1260, one of this year's biggest news

What's new compared to the older model? Well the engine is different, with an increased displacement thanks to an increase stroke capacity, while the bore is still of 106 mm

Allowing to have an improved output and an increased power of 158 Hp at 9,500 RPM

on top of the new engine, which has a new airbox, muffler and many new other features, there are some other news

The frame is the same trellis steel frame, but the steering tube has now a 25° tilting, 1° more than on the older model and the swing arm is 48 mm longer, increasing the stability

the wheelbase has been increased of 56 mm, for a total length of 1585 mm, This change has increased the stability at high speed, decreasing a bit the agility but when fully loaded, it's much better now

there are 4 versions of the Multistrada: Base version, S, S D-Air, with the Dainese Airbag And the top of the range which is the Pikes Peak

The starting price is of 17,990 euro, going up to 24,990 of the Pikes Peak. The S version costs 20,390 euro. There are 3 different colors: Matt grey, white and red

the frame isn't red anymore, but it's grey. Then there's a bigger radiator conveyor, which is bigger, there's a new exhaust system and the 5 spikes rims are thinner

There are new passenger's handles which have a new shape, similar to the ones on the Multistrada Enduro

The S version is the most interesting one, since it has some extra features compared to the base version, with semi active Sachs suspensions which work in real time adjusting the compression and the extension of the fork and of the rear suspension

You can set up the different modes, depending on whether you are traveling by yourself, with a passenger, or with bags. You can also work on the preload at the rear

On the S version there's a new braking system with 330 mm discs, monobloc calipers, while at the rear there's a 265 mm disc

The S version comes as standard with the quickshift with Up and Down functions. The intertial platform manages the Traction control and the anti wheelie system, but the Cornering ABS as well

the Cornering ABS can be set up on 3 different levels, just like the Traction Control and the anti wheelie which can be set up on 8 different levels and, on top of that, there are 4 riding modes which balance all the safety features

There are full LED lights, even at the rear , and the S version has cornering lights. On this S version there's the touring package with side cases which have built in hooks, central stand and heated hand grips

The cockpit features a 5 inch display, it can also be linked with your smartphone through Bluetooth

There are 4 riding modes:Touring, Sport, Urban and Enduro. For each one of the riding modes yo can set up all the safety features or go back to default set up.

It's very easy to use the new cockpit, there's just one switch for everything

The riding position is exactly the same as on the old model, with a large handlebar, allowing to have a good handling, the seat can be set up on two different heights: 825 and 845 mm. If you're over 175 cm tall, you'll have no problem

This Ducati has a Keyless ignition and even the lock on the steering is electronic

the windshield can be raised, the 20 L tank is narrow between the legs

Riding on a twisty road, due to the different tilting of the fork and to the longer swing arm, this model is a bit less agile and reactive, but I must say that they've made a smart decision since it's more stable when traveling

I like the touring riding mode since, thanks to a softer fork set up, it's more comfortable. The Sport riding mode is recommended when the rad is in good conditions and the tires are warm

What I like about this bike is the torque power at mid range RPM, it's very linear compared to the older model where the was a loss of power between 5 and 6,000 RPM

The new engine allows to accelerate faster when coming out from turns and, most of all, the riding pleasure is enhanced, it's much more fun

The cornering ABS works very well, the front brakes are powerful even though there's a bit of lag when braking, due to the increase travel of the suspensions, since it has an Enduro mode, where the ABS is turned off at the rear

In these dais, in cold and wet weather, I have appreciated the grip of the Pirelli ScorpionvTrail 2, the suspensions and the traction control

since we're on an highway I'll raise the windshield, the wind protection is really good for the legs and for the hands, while the windshield is a bit too small. If you're tall I suggest you to get a bigger one

The passenger is comfortable up to 130 Kph and if he's shorter than 180 cm

The comfort is overall very high, with a good set up of the suspensions, the vibrations are pretty low, you can just feel the a bit at around 130 Kph, but it's not bad at all

The full LED lights work extremely well, especially at night

The cruise control is easy to use, in order to deactivate it, you just need to brake

This Multisrada is comfortable on the highway, fun on twisty roads, where it gives its best and it's stable at high speed, it's very well balanced

Talking about a city use, thanks to the Urban riding mode, the power is cut at 100HP and the output is smoother, while the suspensions become a bit smoother, meaning that the comfort is increased, the grip is really good

The Traction Control is set on Level 6, while ABS is on Level 3, which is the lowest

The handlebar is large, allowing to ride well in the traffic, even though you need yo pay attention not to hit cars. The handling is overall really good, even thanks to the smooth clutch and to the smoother output

It has a good pickup starting from 2,000 RPM and from 4th gear, from 2,500 RPM, meaning that in 6th gear you can go as low as 70 Kph

What I really like about it in town, is the grip, the 235 kg of weight which are well balanced and, thanks to the active suspensions, it's really easy to handle

I can feel the traction control and the ABS kicking in on this wet road, but it still brakes perfectly. It's very safe and the soft set up allows to be comfortable at all the times

The heat coming from the engine? Well today it's very cold, so we can't say much, but we know that it was a pretty big issue on the last model, especially due to the rear cylinder , but we will see later how this one goes

we are testing it on the test bench, let's see

Ok so we have seen that this new model has increased both its max output and torque power and the power curve is much different compared to the old model

as you can see, the blue curves belong to the old 1200 S model, while the red ones belong to the new model

we can see where we have highlighted the curve, there's a remarkable difference and, overall, it has improved

That's due to the bigger engine, anyway, we can see that the output is more regular from 4,000 to 6,500 RPM, which is the most used range when riding on road

Neapolitan Fried Montanara Pizza by Ciro Oliva - Duration: 8:35.

Hi, I'm Ciro Oliva, 25 years old, from quarter Rione Sanità, Naples.

We're here at Concettina ai Tre Santi. Now,

let's see how to make a dough for a Montanara.

The four ingredients we're going to use for our Montanaras are:

water,

salt,

all-purpose flour and brewer's yeast.

Let's proceed with the ingredients. Let's start by adding water inside a bowl,

then salt - whole fleur de sel from Trapani,

and brewer's yeast. We're making it dissolve inside our water and salt,

then we're adding all-purpose flour

and gradually start mixing our dough.

We're gradually mixing with our hands.

Be careful and try to dissolve all of the clumps inside our water

until we gradually add all of the remaining flour.

Let's create a little vortex while keeping the bowl steadily firm.

Let's turn and give oxygen to our dough.

We're now feeling with our hands the strength point of our dough.

As we can see, it's truly perfect.

Here we're succeeding in finding the blending point of our dough:

use a little more strength now,

as housewives used to do at home with the bread.

Find a point of strength that allows a delicate touch at the same time,

to dissolve the clumps inside our dough and make it directly perfect:

here it is, done. Let's see if the consistency and strength of our dough is right.

Right after, let's move our baby inside this bowl, then cover it with a lightly wet cloth.

After we put our cloth to let our dough rise for 18 hours,

we're going to create "panielli 'e pasta", meaning "little dough pats",

to create our little Montanaras.

Let's remove the cloth to take a look at the dough.

We can notice how our dough is much smoother than the previous making.

Let's cut our dough, guys!

I always recommend to use some flour to help you.

Let's cut some of the dough and create our pats,

around 30 grams.

Fist firm, then separate.

Then we're moving it in this way, lightly touching our dough

to make it increasingly precise and homogeneous.

Let's turn it like a ball.

Let's now let our dough rise for six hours more inside a wooden box,

I'll show it to you. Let's take our pats, even if our box is not this big,

and place them at a distance of around three-four fingers.

We can cover our dough with a wet cloth

or we can cover the dough directly with a wooden box.

Wood is going to absorb all of the humidity

and the dough will be much lighter, softer and more melting in the mouth.

Here we are with our little Montanaras. Before we fry them,

here's the size of our 30 grams dough. We're taking this dough

and immersing it into flour, spreading it out with our fingertips.

Don't make it too thin in the inner part,

it should be a little thicker, so that it doesn't absorb too much oil.

Let's now fry our Montanaras!

We're soaking them into boiling oil, at a temperature of around 190°C.

You can see how homogeneous it is when we open it.

You could burn yourself, but I'm pretty used to this.

As you can see, it's completely empty inside: this makes it very soft, light…

it dissolves in the mouth.

As our Montanara is fried, let's place it on a dish

and touch it lightly with our index in the center, to place all of the ingredients.

Here is the filling: some tomato from San Marzano, home-made,

a basil pesto with a Neapolitan recipe: just basil and

Pecorino from Bagnoli in Irpinia region,

with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Let's add some drops here and there,

together with Buffalo milk, lightly melt,

placing drops on top of the dish, as well as on the sides.

Let's add some more tomato on the sides of the plate,

in this way I'm showing,

so that we can mop it up later, right after the first bite.

Let's take some Parmesan cheese, aged 48 months

- a 24 months or others may work as well - and add it on the sides, but not on top.

It should be like when I was little and mopped up the plate

with tomato, basil and cheese.

Some fresh basil, right from the plant.

Here's our version of Montanara, usually served in summer and springtime.

Let's make our second Montanara: cooked and de-greased bacon,

a bacon with a flavor of porchetta,

our ricotta placed in a pastry bag and added on top of our Montanara,

in a vortex.

Here it is.

Then using a microplane, we're grating lemon peel on top,

giving it a fresh touch on the fried part and removing greasiness from the palate.

A small leaf of basil and it's done!

I called this one after myself: "Ciro's Montanara". Bacon, ricotta and lemon.

This one, instead is a Montanara I dedicated

to all Neapolitan mums and grandmas, with simple elements:

meatballs and broccoli rabe. Let's add a broccoli rabe sauce:

this is made by boiling and sauteéing the vegetables

with garlic, oil and a bit of pepper. Then we're taking this ragu,

cooked for 6 hours, with "tracchiullella", sausages, meatball and pork rinds.

Let's take one of the meatballs and place it on top of the Montanara.

Let's add a bit of the sauce to add its flavor.

We should add some generous spoons, I like it when there's lots.

Meet the Pillarista: Vitor Py | Pillar - Duration: 7:21.

My Block: Sarah MacInerney ~ Quail Valley, TX (sea 2, ep 1) - Duration: 4:57.

Hey guys welcome to my house on "My Block" come on in.

We've been in Quail Valley a little over eight years and we started this

renovation project about a year ago and we got to the point to where we sat down

and said, "are we gonna stay here, and if we're gonna stay here let's really just

make this house everything that we want it to be."

A couple of things we had to consider was fashion versus function. Did we want

a home that was beautiful but maybe not comfortable. We decided that we really

kind of wanted it to be a home where you could always be comfortable.

So for us it was really important to make this a family home, a place where we

could all gather not just with the five of us, but with extended family. Taking

out this built-in wet bar not only opened up the living room, but it also

opened up the kitchen here and gave us a great line of sight all the way through

the common areas. So once we got in here where I'm standing right now there was a

large island. We took the island out so we can just walk through. We can walk

around the countertops and to all the appliances really easily before it was

kind of open the fridge and shimmy past the island. We don't have to do that

anymore. We had just a single door pantry over here, so this space was my pantry

and over here was a double oven. So what we did is we put barn doors in here

pantries on this side and I have a little appliance garage right here, so we

tucked the microwave away we tucked away the coffeepot. I've got my extra

appliances blenders and everything up there since we lost a little bit of

space when we got rid of the island and then we just put in a single oven and

flip top combo. Our kids are still small, they still like to cuddle up with us and

we decided that we really kind of wanted it to be a home where you could always

be comfortable so we got the massive sectional and

everybody can be on the couch comfortably. We got a big dining table, so

we could all sit around and eat dinner together and it was comfortable to have

friends and family over at the same time, and we didn't have to separate the kids

to another room. We also in the kitchen went for everything to be counter height

so it's just easier for the kids to crawl up in a standard sized chair

rather than a bar stool. We have an extra room in the house that could have been a

formal dining room or formal living room and we opted to make that sort of a

rec room for the kids. After we decided that we wanted it to be comfy and

functional it with basically up to me. Anybody that knows me knows that my

favorite color is, black. So I wanted to find ways to put pops of black in the house

but still make it lively and cheery and not so morose. We did some black doors. We

did a lot of black and white accents, all the backsplash in the kitchen and in the

converted bar area. The bathroom in our room is black white and

gray. I love it it's really clean I feel like it's timeless and it's easy to mix

and match. So the bathrooms the kitchen the living room the mudroom everything

is the same color gray which also makes it really nice for touch-ups. We've made

this home our own and that's what's most important and that's what we really want

to feature when we're on My Block. We want to see how you have made your home

your own.

Thanks so much for taking a tour of my house

on My Block. Next week we're going to be featuring the Culpepper home, so stay

tuned for that and if you guys want us to feature your house or any room in

your house please feel free to reach out to me at Sarah@Par3Realty.com

until then see you later.

am I just supposed to talk freely

20 Traits Of An Empath: How To Know Accurately If You're An Empath - Duration: 4:18.

20 Traits Of An Empath: How To Know Accurately If You're An Empath

Empaths are people who are very sensitive to emotional matter.

It is necessary to know that empaths are usually friendly and nice.

However, it is also worth noting that empaths are also sometimes exhausting.

If you want to know more about empaths, you should know these 20 traits of empaths.

Before jumping to the video, dont forget to give a like to this video and subscribe to

our channel.

1.

Just knowing Some people may not know how empaths actually

understand people easily.

They really just do that with their strong intuition.

Empaths of course can sharpen the skill by understanding more and more people.

2.

Public places are terrifying You can imagine that empaths can read people's

mind and emotion through facial expression, gesture, and voices.

So many expressions are going on in public places and it is exhausting for empaths.

3.

Absorbing emotion Empaths do not only know the feeling or the

emotion of others.

They also take that as their own.

It is quite problematic since you will feel depressed – most of the times – because

of their stories.

4.

Cannot watch violence Violence breaks empaths' heart deeply.

It also can make the person passed out just to see someone's bleeding.

5.

Lie detector You know when someone's lying to you.

Though it seems good, it is not.

If your loved ones lie to you, it is mentally exhausting and depressing.

6.

Mimicking The sympathy goes beyond just feeling.

It makes you move at the same pace and direction.

7.

Digestive disorder The seat of emotion is located in abdomen

area.

It is weakened if there is too much exposure of negative emotion.

8.

Looks for the weak Empaths are easily drawn into something or

someone weak even in the middle of the crowd.

9.

People need your help People with their problems will ask you how

to deal with them.

Empaths are great place to dump negative emotion.

10.

Constant exhaustion Sometimes, it is impossible to just take a

day break because there is always suffering that you see and eventually experience.

11.

Addictive personality Working as dumping place of negativity, addiction

to alcohol, drugs and sex is the answer for avoiding mental damage.

12.

Drawn to metaphysical things Anything supernatural or illogical is acceptable.

Though they value on their belief, they still can accept something irrational.

13.

Creative Empaths have strong creativity in art fields

such as acting, dancing, and drawing.

14.

Nature lover Empaths love outdoors especially with no human

presence.

It is like a great meditative place for taking a break.

15.

Need for solitude It is rare, but empaths sometimes need to

recharge themselves in quiet place.

16.

Distracted easily If not stimulated or motivated, the empaths

can be distracted frequently.

It is more prominent especially if there is someone telling a problem.

17.

Lazy Empaths are associated with laziness because

they just do not like activities that have no direct benefits for them.

18.

Seeking for the truth No one wants to be lied, and it holds true

especially for empaths.

19.

Always curious Empaths want to learn more about their surroundings

especially about human being.

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk First Drive Review - Duration: 7:44.

We're invited is to say that the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is laughable.

It's borderline frightening to think that we are today live in a world-wide where anybody

with the money and the gumption can stroll into the nearest Jeep dealership and home

an order for a 707 -horsepower Hemi-powered Grand Cherokee.

Let's threw this slice of record into position.

The original Jeep, the one used by the military, boasted 60 horsepower from the Go Devil four-cylinder

engine for the purposes of the hood.

The most powerful version of the muscle car-era 426 -cubic-inch Hemi was factory-rated at

425 hp.

And even if that legendary powerplant was underrated from the factory, the Grand Cherokee

Trackhawk still eliminates it by a couple hundred mares .

In an SUV.

Seven-hundred-horsepower sport utility vehicle doesn't precisely roll off the tongue, does

it?

And conventional wisdom says it shouldn't.

But we're here is to say otherwise.

After driving the Trackhawk in and around the streets of Portland, Maine, and taking

it to Club Motorsports in New Hampshire, we're remain convinced that Jeep and SRT engineers

have managed to defy physics and ground.

The Trackhawk isn't just tight, it's also manageable.

Subdued, even- at the least when you want it to be .

Put the mallet down, summon the nearly demonic superpower of supercharged combustion, and

all inferno infringes loose.

But the tires don't.

With launch dominate engaged and with the programmable machine rapidity properly preferred,

the all-wheel-drive Trackhawk rockets to 60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds, over and

over and over again.

No drama , no wheelspin, just g-force, pressing you and four close friends into the backs

of your sits.

It's addictive, and the only sanction is single-digit fuel mileage.

But we'll gambling a guess that anyone store for a Trackhawk isn't much worried about its

boozing question .

The only proper way to experience the Trackhawk's acceleration is from inside.

But, to give you an idea of its rapidity and superpower, check out the videos below.

Stick around for a walkaround both inside and out, and for a look for the purposes of

the hood .

Jeep had to make a few small changes to the well-known 6.2 -liter supercharged Hellcat

V8 machine to shoehorn it for the purposes of the hood of a Grand Cherokee.

The oil pan is reshaped and amazed, the intercooler is modified, and the exhaust gases manifolds

are new.

The develop is a reduction in torque from 650 pound-feet in Dodge Hellcat models to

645 in the Jeep, but we wouldn't worry about that.

Continue your paw planted for 11.6 seconds and you'll have crossed the quarter-mile doorstep.

We reached 120 miles per hour on the long straight at Club Motorsports, but if we'd

have had a longer runway, we have zero mistrust that the Trackhawk would make its claimed

180 -mph top speed .

We feel been obliged to be borne in mind, again, that the Trackhawk is an SUV , not

a sports car.

Good happening, then, that the six-piston Brembo calipers and 15.75 -inch rotors at

the front and four-piston calipers with 13.78 -inch rotors at the backside are the largest

ever fitted to a Jeep.

Mash those brakes and the 5,363 -pound Trackhawk will come to a stop from 60 in just 114 feet

.

It likely goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway.

None is going to take the Trackhawk off-road.

Jeep knows this and removed unnecessary situations like a low-range transportation case and dirt

or boulder modes from the Selec-Track terrain management system.

That leaves Auto, Sport, Track, Snow and Tow modes make their own choices .

The Grand Cherokee's Quadra-Trac on-demand four-wheel drive method is beefed up to handle

the hellacious superpower of the supercharged machine with new drive rods, a stronger rear

axle, forged sword chain sprockets and a stronger differential house.

An eight-speed automatic transmission is no other gearbox available .

We have no qualms with the powertrain, or Jeep's claim that the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

is the most powerful and quickest SUV ever became.

But we do please the steering ratio was quicker than 16.5: 1.

Too often we noted ourselves envisaging at the rotation to keep the Trackhawk under control.

A variable-ratio component are certainly assistant.

Formerly it's moment in the proper direction, Jeep's skill in programming all-wheel-drive

organisations sheens.

There's not much drama in how the Trackhawk treats the twisties, despite the huge glob

under its hood.

Grippy P295/ 45 ZR20 tires help, but the overall sense of plantedness and the absence of body

roll initially comes as a astound .

Jeep fitted the Trackhawk with a steering wheel that's nice and meaty at every site

your hands wishes to grab.

Paddle shifters on the back of the rotation work well, but the transmission's alteration

logic is good enough that we predominantly didn't bother with them.

The sits in the Trackhawk are comfy, but proprietors who plan to use their Jeeps at the racetrack

will probably wish for more aggressive bolstering .

There aren't a lot of obvious exterior changes to separate the Trackhawk from the regular-grade

Grand Cherokee SRT.

Badging is different, of course, and so are the exhaust tips at the backside.

Up front is a new fascia became most noticeable by the loss of its haze lamps, which are replaced

with breath intakes to help keep situations refrigerate for the purposes of the hood .

Jeep declined the go height of the Trackhawk by an inch, and we suppose the SUV appears

best with the optional flat-black forged 20 -inch rotations fitted with Pirelli P-Zero

three-season tires.

A backup define of rotations with proper wintertime tires are likely an absolute necessity in

snowy climates.

We doubt numerous proprietors will be towing ultra heavy consignments with the Trackhawk,

but its 7,200 -pound max rating surely allows for trailers, spray skis or dirt bikes .

With a starting rate of $86,995, the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk isn't cheap.

But it's less expensive, quicker and most powerful than the BMW X5M or Porsche Cayenne

Turbo S. It's also $2,000 dearer than the 840 -horsepower Dodge Demon.

But the Demon is a one-trick pony, and the Trackhawk is most definitely not.

In happening, Jeep's latest super-powerful utility vehicle may be the perfect automobile

for anyone who desires practical execution .

We is entered into our first stint in the Trackhawk thinking it was ridiculous.

And "its by", but not for the reason we had speculated.

What's really crazy is how well the thing wields .

10 Times Gordon Ramsay Actually LIKED THE FOOD! (Part 2) - Duration: 12:09.

We all know that the king of the kitchen loves to shake his fist and crack his whip at amateur

chefs, but just like we've seen in our past video, Gordon Ramsay has had a few moments

where he actually liked the food.

We've done some additional research and found out Gordon Ramsay that there are more

rare instances where he enjoyed the food from other people.

The cocky chef who amazed Gordon

After lending a hand to the Italian restaurant La Lanterna, Gordon came back to find Alex,

the restaurant's owner and the head chef, as full of himself as he can be.

That wasn't without reason though.

We all know how high maintenance Gordon is, and if he was that satisfied with Alex's food,

then that cockiness must be deserved to some degree.

Alex makes classic authentic Italian food.

Just as it should be.

Gordon was treated with a nice plate of meatballs and pasta at the beginning of his visit, and

we don't get to say this often, but Gordon had no negative comments.

He was definitely pleased.

Then the veal came.

Gordon was munching down that plate like it was his last.

The sauce, the delicate meat, everything about that plate looked staggeringly delicious.

Gordon definitely did the job right with La Lanterna.

It was one of those times where Gordon came back to a kitchen that he once stood in to

help enhance it.

He's visibly proud of how well it is doing.

Alex surely got it right, and made the most out of Gordon's help.

Now with the restaurant's debts all resolved, Alex can focus on pleasing the world's taste

buds with a cocky smirk on his face.

Eels jellied just like Gordon loves them

You may not know this about Gordon, but he absolutely loves eels.

Actually, he's not just an eel fan - he's more like an eel crusader.

He doesn't want to simply enjoy eels.

Gordon wants to make the world enjoy it.

He thinks it's a part of British heritage that needs to be revived.

People say eels are slimy, many think they are disgusting, but Gordon absolutely thinks

otherwise.

To prove them wrong, he went down to River Thames and met with the only remaining traditional

jellied eel fisherman, and together they captured some eels.

Then Gordon got them cut up and ready for cooking.

These jellied eels are made with a simple recipe.

They're boiled in water with some gelatine and salt, and you have your jellied eels.

We know it might sound a bit gross for most of you who never tried them, but Gordon looked

like he really enjoyed his jellied eels.

As we know, that man is pretty tough to please so hats off to those eels.

Honestly, they do look a bit too slimy, especially in that big container they're put in.

They're probably worth the try though since they are obviously pretty enjoyable.

Keep jellied eels on your bucket list of food that you might want to try one day.

Tripe with a modern recipe

Gordon is a traditional British guy, so he appreciates some kinds of food that might

not be that popular among young people.

Tripe is one of these things that Gordon shares a liking of exclusively with 60 plus folks.

With a craving for tripe, he visited a butcher to see who was asking for tripe, and he found

old people who ate it raw, he met a man who ate tripe as a snack, but there wasn't a single

person under the age of 40.

Gordon wanted to get younger people enjoying the awesomeness of tripe, so he summoned his

favorite chef in the whole world: Gordon himself.

He set up Gordon's Gut Hut and got to work.

Some flour, cayenne pepper, lemon zest and the tripe was ready for the frying pan.

As soon as Gordon started frying the tripe, people young and old gathered around the smell.

With his astounding recipe, Gordon got 18 year olds, 30 year olds, and young kids all

waiting for the tripe.

Honestly, how he made it is completely new to us, and made that way, tripe suddenly starts

looking a bit tempting.

Gordon won that challenge.

He got the youngsters loving tripe.

The Ultimate Argentine Rib Eye

What is one thing that Gordon is pretty stern about?

You probably guessed it correctly.

It's steak.

Gordon is a true steak connoisseur.

He's an expert on taste and he preps them perfectly.

So, to gain Gordon's approval on a steak is not that easy.

You'll hit into quite high standards.

Ernesto, the chef of Santa Maria del Sur, an Argentine restaurant in London, was up

to the challenge.

First of all, a steak can't be done right unless done with the right piece of meat.

At Santa Maria del Sur, the meat is well picked, red, fresh and thick.

It actually looks pretty tempting while it's raw.

The restaurant's manager said that the reason for its high quality is that the cows are

grass fed.

Everybody at the restaurant seemed to be absolutely stunned by the food, and it was Gordon's turn.

The rib eye steak came just like Gordon Ramsay is known to love it: thick and medium rare.

Gordon really seemed to enjoy that treat, and to match Gordon's standards, that steak

must have been top notch.

After getting that much pleasure from his steak, Gordon chose Santa Maria del Sur to

compete on The F Word as the best local South American restaurant.

Trifle with Vinegar

Some things don't sound quite right when you hear their ingredients, but when you give

them a try, you realize that the risk was worth it.

That is exactly what happened with Stacey, one of the contestants on MasterChef.

Stacey was making trifle, but instead of doing it the conventional way, she decided to spice

it up a bit.

Almost literally.

Stacey added to the trifle a layer of lemon curd and mascarpone, and… wait for it…

balsamic vinegar!

That's right.

Stacey put vinegar on the trifle, and it shocked Gordon at first just like it probably shocked

you.

Incredibly, everyone on the show who tasted this trifle was utterly flabbergasted by its

perfect taste.

Not only Gordon, too.

Graham Elliot was pretty impressed too.

It looks pretty smooth, delicate and creamy.

What else do you need to have a perfect trifle?

The vinegar thing might have blown up in Stacey's face, but she stepped up and took the risk

of getting a Gordon Ramsay roast on air.

That's a pretty big risk, you know.

When he admitted to liking it, though, Gordon respected her willingness to take the risk

and awarded her by choosing her as the winning contestant.

The Rajasthan Goat

A guaranteed way to get Gordon satisfied with the food is to give him a whole experience

with it.

Well, that's not just Gordon, of course, but as both a chef and an adventurer, the thrill

of the experience definitely has a special effect of boosting the food's chances of pleasing

him.

And can be better than a desert grill right in the middle of the desert in India?

Along with his companion, Bozzo, Gordon put together an amazing Rajasthan Goat Curry meal

with all the magnificent Indian spices wrapped with a layer of bread which they then slow-cooked

in a desert grill that they set up inside a hole in the sand.

They made it just as authentic as it gets.

After they were done they unwrapped their meal, it certainly did look mouthwatering.

When they gathered around with company to enjoy the goat, there were only the sounds

of the sizzling fire and Gordon's enjoyment.

He complimented how the goat was made moist enough to be all nice and soft when cooked,

but that the bread wrap was able to absorb that moisture well so that it didn't ruin

it.

They were all very delighted with the taste of the spices, but that's a bit obvious.

This was in India after all.

Indian Food at its Origin

Gordon's same trip to India included plenty of awesome foodie experiences.

While he was in Delhi, he got to meet up with one of the country's renowned food critics

at a restaurant called Moti Mahal, and if you have never heard the name, that's one

of the most famous restaurants in India.

Gordon wanted to see if the Indian cuisine that he knew about back in London are anything

like their origin.

He was surprised to know that they were nothing similar to the real deal.

The butter chicken and the Tandoori chicken both tasted a whole lot different, and obviously

way better.

It's a given, of course, that food in India is a big part of their culture.

Most of those who try it out over there are absolutely amazed by the multitude of flavours

to enjoy, so taking Gordon Ramsay's word on it seals the deal.

Generally speaking, whenever you hear a British person say the words "bloody hell" they're

either really astounded by something.

With how the food looks on the screen, and with Gordon's focused look that we only see

when he's trying out something that he likes, we can make sure that Gordon was pretty pleased

by that food.

That was another hole in one for India.

The Queen of Sausages

On one of his journeys in East Asia, particularly in Thailand, Gordon was taken to a small shack

where an old Thai lady sold sausages - really spicy sausages.

Gordon loves trying the real traditional food in every country he goes, and so the moment

he knew about the best place to eat classic Thai sausages, he navigated his way there

without a second thought.

When he tried out one of the sausages, the heat hit him right in the head.

"Hot as a furnace" was particularly how Gordon described them.

Gordon also called the lady "the queen of sausages."

That's a pretty grand statement from Gordon if you know anything about the guy.

He actually enjoyed them so much that he sat and made some sausages with the sausage queen

herself.

With the amount of Thai chilis they used in making the sausages, we can understand why

Gordon was struck by their spiciness.

There were hundreds of them.

These sausages are nothing like the sausages eaten in the UK or the US for that matter.

After the spicy paste was made out of all the peppers, garlic, and a mix of Thai herbs,

they were mixed with the minced pork and then stuffed into what you might call intestinal

pockets.

Yes, they were actual intestines.

The recipe does sound a bit strange, but we have to say, these sausages did look pretty

darn delicious.

Thai Fish and Oysters

In another one of his Great Escape adventures, again in Thailand, Gordon visited a small

village where he heard the oysters were made to perfection.

It was an old lady chef that he met there, and as usual, when Gordon finds a type of

food that sounds delicious, he tries to make it himself.

So, Gordon proceeded to make a meal of fish and oysters with the Thai chef.

He began to get the hang of the hot and sour essence of traditional Thai food.

The ingredients were a bit odd for a foreigner, but they obviously added up to one killer

meal.

Inside a big pot of boiling water they dropped in the fresh fish then they added some fish

sauce, sugar and palm vinegar.

After that they prepared the oyster dipping.

It was basically garlic, fish sauce, salt, sugar and LOTS of chili.

Funny thing is, the Thai chef thought the dipping needed some more, but Gordon was already

having a hard time handling that level of heat.

It seems like Thai people can handle a shit load of heat when it comes to spicy food.

But all in all, the oysters and fish meal got Gordon absolutely delighted.

The Young Steak Master

Season 3 of MasterChef Junior which ran in 2015 featured a group whose oldest child was

12 years old, but we're talking about the show's youngest contestant here - Riley Hahn,

the 8 year old MasterChef contestant from Carrollton, Texas, who surprised his fellow

youngsters and his adult judges alike.

While people in their 40s stand low in front of Gordon's insults to their subpar performance

in the kitchen, this 8 year old boy got Gordon stunned speechless by his astounding skills.

In this round, he made steak, and we all know Gordon's obsession with steak and how scrupulous

he gets about every detail of how a piece of steak is made.

That kid was standing up to monstrous standards, but he was able to stand tough and conquer.

His dish of smeared steak with beef ramen made Gordon stand there astonished by this

young man presenting him with an apparently flawless steak.

Only flawlessness can get these reactions out of Chef Ramsay it seems.

With an authentic Texan touch, Riley gained Gordon's approval, and maybe for the first

time that we know of, Gordon let the young chef taste his food, not as a punishment for

its substandard taste and texture, but to let him get a mouthful of his own masterpiece.

Meet the Pillarista: Vitor Py | Pillar - Duration: 7:21.

Cop Gets Call About Dog In Car, Heart Breaks When She Hears Tiny Cries From Inside - Duration: 2:17.

Cop Gets Call About Dog In Car, Heart Breaks When She Hears Tiny Cries From Inside

Officer C. Morris of the Riverside, California, Animal Control Unit got a call to check on

a report of a pet left in a parked car on a hot and sunny day.

She arrived on the scene to hear tiny cries coming from inside a white Impala with its

windows open only about an inch on each side.

When she looked inside her heart broke – an 8- to 10-week-old pit bull puppy was locked

inside.

Officier Morris immediately called her superior.

"I called my sergeant to make him aware of what was going on," she said.

"He rolled out to assist me so that we could get the puppy out of the vehicle."

It breaks and angers our hearts to read stories like this one – why would someone ever leave

a puppy in a hot car?

But stories like this also remind us that there are many good, caring people in the

world, like the officers who saved this dog from a vehicle-turned-oven, and the kind people

at the veterinary hospital who gave it a bath, a fan, and water to help the tiny creature

recover.

"This puppy was very fortunate," Officer Morris said.

"We were able to get the puppy out of the vehicle in time."

Unfortunately, she has witnessed firsthand how things don't always turn out so well.

"I have taken dogs out of cars that were unconscious, and then when we took them to

the vet they were determined to be brain dead," she said.

"So it can end devastatingly.

I don't know how the public is not aware of it.

If you wouldn't leave your child in a vehicle this hot, why would you leave an animal?

It can't regulate its body temperature."

Thanks to Officer Morris, Sergeant Gates, and the people at the veterinary hospital,

this almost tragic story had a good outcome.

The owner was fined $140 and said he'd never leave a dog in a hot vehicle again.

We hear way too many stories like this one, but we hope that by sharing them more people

will become aware of the dangers of leaving their dogs in their cars.

Hopefully one day soon there stories will be a thing of the past
