It seems the winter is over in Chisinau
It's +10 degrees outside, sunny, no snow left and warm
The window is wide open. Weather went crazy
Though i know what's gonna be next - in April the snow will fall and we will have cataclysm, like it was last year.
There will be tons of snow and we will be sledding
Right now we simply have no winter
Okay folks, it's time to start the review
We have the RTA as the guest
Let's roll...Intro
Yohoho! Hello everyone! Alex from VapersMD is here
And i'm glad to welcome you on my channel
Our guest for today is Zesthia RTA by Asmodus
ThtThtBrbhrth
I dont know how to pronounce this correctly - leave a comment
This RTA is made for single coil. It have bottom airflow, top fill,
V principe
Classics.
It have some features tho
Let's dive down and disassemble, assemble, put the build in it and then talk about its pros and cons
Let's roll
Okay folks, it's time to unbox this package
This package is like Korobochka Burenochka
On the top it have color mark
Through the plastic window we can see the RTA itself
The name of the RTA and the For Professional Use Only writing
Around the sides we have logos, certificates, barcode
On the rear we have specs, kit content and warnings
Under the cover we have the RTA itself, spare glass, hex screw, and bag with spares
Inside that bag we have spare o-rings and spare screws
Also we have familiar fused claptons made by Oni Coils
One was being used already, second we will use today
On the bottom we have User Manual
Now it's time to talk about specs
This RTA is made of SS and available in 4 colors - SS, Black, Gold and Blue
It have 810 drip tip with o-ring, top fill, single coil only
Bottom adjustable airflow
And 4.5ml capacity
The diameter is 24mm
Now it's time for detailed overview
And we start with drip tip which is made of delrin
As you can see this drip tip have 2 o-rings and narrow shaft
Inner part of this drip tip is cone-shaped
Sadly standard 810 drip tips wont fit, as you can see they aren't holding inside
Because inside we don't have specific o-ring to hold non-o-rings 810 drip tips
In any case you have to use that one or search some 810 with o-rings
Moving forward. Next part is top cap. It is for top fill
It unscrews counter clockwise
I think you noticed that top cap doesn't have any cuts or knurling on it for convenience
That's complicate unscrewing it from time to time
Top cap gives us access to two big fill slots
And screws on that shaft section
Why this is shaft section i will show you later
Don't forget - when you screw down the top cap it will create pressure and juice will go into chamber section, so wicking is matters
Moving forward. Second part of top cap, the chimney and the glass
Which is altogether unscrews from the deck
You can disassemble this part - it also unscrews counter clockwise
Top cap is holding glass
This way the chimney look like
Two big juice flow slots
And it's a little bit spherical inside the chamber
When you assemble it you should be very careful - the most vital thing is not to overtighten this top cap
Otherwise you will break your glass
Anyway you have to tighten it, so when you unscrew this part top cap won't unscrew as well
Otherwise you remaining liquid will leak on you and could mess you wardrobe
Now it's time to talk about the deck
This deck have 2 post design, bottom airflow and wick slots
The posts themselves have 2 slots for coil legs
No matter if you right or left-handed - it's convenient in both ways
In this case doesn't matter which side you wrap your coil - clockwise or counter clockwise
As i showed you before we have 2 airflow slot and they are angled
Also here we have wick slots which is also for juice getting to your cotton
This device utilizes gold-plated hex screws which will be holding your coils
Getting lower and here we have airflow adjustment ring and it's removable
It's held by single o-ring and have stopping mechanism
With that ring you will be able to adjust your airflow on both sides at the same time
On the bottom we have pin that is holding positive post
Also it have Asmodus engraving and that RTA name
By the way - this pin isn't very protruding, so be aware
Okay folks, it's time to assemble this RTA, put the coil and the cotton and fill it
So we can see how it works
Let's roll
Okay friends, we're set and ready for the face-time
Thanks for your attention in close up
Let's test it out and speak of its pros and cons
As you can see there is a vapor, there is a flavor. And it's good.
Sdelal krasivo
Cheten'ko
Overall this is average RTA
I love this word - SREDNESTTCHSKY
Overall folks, this is average RTA with familiar coil installation, wicking
There is no innovations, no new ideas. We saw it many times before
But Asmodus never had RTA's like this before, especially with coil installation like that
Anyway this RTA have decent flavor and performance and it's easy to use
ANYWAY, i found some cons and right now let's talk about it
First con i'll give for non-standard 810 drip tips slot.
This slot is not fitting standard 810 drip tips
Standard 810 drip tips as you know have no o-rings
In here they made slot for 810 with o-rings and because of that many of my favorite 810 drip tips simply wont fit in here
Also i want to mention that this kit is not include 510 drip tips adapter
I can tell it's required for this tank, since it's single coil. So 510 if suits good for this tank and this adapter should've been in the kit
Another thing i want to discuss is that top cap. As you saw in close up it's disassembles into two parts
It disassemble like everything else - unscrews counter clockwise, screws back clockwise
In this situation if you wont tighten this top cap and you will try to get access to your coils this top cap can suddenly unscrew
It will release the glass its holding so all the liquid in the tank will leak on you. Of course if you have it inside.
So i recommend to tighten the top cap and the chimney together
BUT don't overtighten - since it have some free threads you can brake your glass
Nitpicking
I have only one nitpick and it's top cap
Since it have no cuts or knurling for convenient grip the refilling is complicated.
In case you have wet hands this top cap will scroll in your hands. Sometimes it's very hard to get a grip and unscrew it
So it's a nitpick for complicated refill
Now pros
First pro to this RTA goes for convenient wicking and coil installation
Very fast and easy. I like it.
Next pro i'll give this RTA for vapor production and flavor
Thanks to bottom airflow - the flavor is decent. Pro for that
And last pro goes for capacity of 4.5ml
This capacity is enough and it's good.
And now it's time to talk about price tag
On official site it cost 40$
And it's normal for Asmodus
I think if it's go on external market and to other online stores the price will go lower down to 35$
I think that optimal price for that RTA is 30$ to 35$
40$ is a bit too much. 30$ is fine
Okay folks, that's basically it.
Overall this is good RTA, it's convenient and it gives good flavor
And it's looks good
