Youtube daily report w Feb 4 2018

You started to notice the appearance of some warts on your skin?

As we age, we can really develop warts on part of the body.

This does not mean that there is any problem with your health, but depending on the location

where the warts appear, can be a nuisance aesthetic.

In many cases the appearance of warts by our genetics, through a

greater accumulation of melanin in that part of the body.

However, excessive sun exposure and the hormonal changes that we

can also help in the development of of the warts.

The warts usually have the color brown, black or the color of your skin.

In this case, the cause is genetic in combination with the external factors like the sun.

If the wart is of a different color, look a dermatologist because it may be a symptom

for a more serious illness.

Due to the cosmetic discomfort that the warts cause the techniques to remove them are

very sought after.

This ends up increasing the price of the procedures to remove warts.

However, it is possible to remove a natural way, even if it takes longer.

Different from Wart Removal Techniques available, this natural recipe does not offer

no pain at the scene and there is none side effect.

Just use the apple cider vinegar.

Being a great source of acid, vinegar of apple destroys the cells that accumulate

in the wart and deteriorates until it dry thoroughly.

Apply apple cider vinegar on wart three times a day every day.

With time

your warts will clear, and finally, fall.

See how wart removal can be simple?

Try this tip and then tell what you found it in the comments.

What isTinnitus? | Scottsdale | Southwest Hearing Center - Duration: 3:39.

A common condition that we often see at Southwest Hearing Center, is something

called tinnitus. Tinnitus is a ringing or other noise that a person hears in their

ears or their head, and this is generally caused by some sort of damage to the

inner ear. This damage can be caused in a number of ways. For example a person

might be diabetic or they might have high blood pressure. They might have

allergies. They might have adverse reactions to medications. If you research

the American Tinnitus Association, you will find a huge list of many, many

different things that can contribute to tinnitus. The most common contributor to

tinnitus is hearing loss. There have been studies performed on individuals who

have both tinnitus and hearing loss and they found that eighty to ninety percent

of the people who have both tinnitus and hearing loss notice some sort of relief

from that through the use of hearing devices. Sometimes a person may not

notice the tinnitus at all while they're wearing their hearing device. For others

the tinnitus might be diminished. There is a small percentage of individuals who

may not notice any relief from the tinnitus when they wear a hearing device.

There are hearing devices out there that not only provide amplification, but also

provide tinnitus masking. A variety of different noises to mask the tinnitus

are found in some types of hearing aids. Among them are white noise, or frequency

shaped noise to the patient's hearing loss, red noise, pink noise, ocean sounds,

or other nature sounds. There are even tinnitus applications for smartphones

where individuals can listen to nature sounds, waterfalls. Hearing devices that

do provide tinnitus relief are generally not something that is found in a big-box

store. When patients consult with us about tinnitus,

we first recommend that we perform a hearing evaluation on the patient. We

also recommend that they see their family doctor, obtain a complete physical,

and in some cases they may want to be referred to an otologist, who is a

physician that specializes in diseases of the ear. This can help rule out

serious health issues that could be causing the tinnitus. Assistance for

patients with tinnitus is generally not available at a big-box store, but if you

consult with an audiologist who is university-trained, you'll be able to

obtain advice and direction on what the best course of action would be for your

individual case of tinnitus. A very important thing to remember about

tinnitus is to not attach a feeling of danger to the tinnitus. Stress has been

known to exacerbate or make worse tinnitus. If you or a loved one is

suffering from tinnitus, I would recommend that you give Southwest

Hearing Center a call. We would be glad to make an appointment for you and

schedule a time for a consultation and evaluation, and we have offices in

Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Which Hearing Aids do we Recommend? | Scottsdale | Southwest Hearing Center - Duration: 5:15.

in the past 30 years that I've been an audiologist, I have worked with nearly

every hearing aid manufacturer that's out there. One of our favorite companies

is Oticon. Oticon is the oldest hearing aid manufacturer in the industry. They

have a long history of providing excellent research and development to

produce quality hearing devices that not only are durable but have the technology

that enables a patient to process speech in the presence of background

noise, and to be able to participate actively in life. What impresses me about

Oticon is that this company was founded by a man whose wife was hard of hearing.

This man tried to find appropriate hearing healthcare for his wife but was

unable to, and so he developed a company that would produce hearing devices not

only for his wife but for anyone else that might have difficulties in hearing.

Oticon is based out of Denmark. Another manufacturer that we really enjoy

working with is Phonak. Similar to Oticon, Phonak uses all of their resources for

hearing healthcare only. We can always rely on a product purchased from Phonak.

Phonak is based out of Switzerland. They also produce a product called the Lyric.

It is a device that is very small. It fits deep in the ear canal, and is

completely invisible. The battery in the Lyric lasts two and a half months, and

every two and a half months the patient will come into our office. We will change

out the device for a new one, and they can go on living their lives sleeping

with the hearing devices in, showering with them in, working out at the gym and

any other activity in their life that they enjoy. A convenient aspect of the

Lyric that many people enjoy is they don't have to worry about remembering to

put the hearing aid in or to take it out at night. They don't have to worry about

changing the batteries. So this is a solution that a lot of

people like. It may not be appropriate for everyone, but for those that the

Lyric is not appropriate for, we can talk about daily wear devices from Oticon or

Phonak that would be appropriate for them. Depending on the patient's hearing

loss and what their preference is, they may select a hearing device that is

custom molded to the shape and size of their ear. Some of these are very, very

small custom-made hearing devices. Others are devices that would fit over the ear

with a custom-made mold that fits into the ear canal. Another popular type of

device is something called the receiver in the ear technology. This is something

that in recent years has become very popular. These devices are not only

incredibly comfortable but enable the speaker to sit in the patient's ear

canal, getting a direct, smooth, clear clean sound quality. The receiver in the

ear technology is technology where the speaker itself seats down into the

patient's ear canal. There are other devices that would have the speaker or

the receiver up at ear level and then the sound is then sent through a tube

that enters into a mold that is made for the patient's ear. With the new

technology that is available, patients can select any style of hearing device

they want to assist them in their listening needs. Some of the latest

advances in hearing technology enable a patient to be able to control their

hearing devices utilizing an app on their smartphone. It has been very

satisfying to see patients really enjoy their hearing technology where they can

have the phone signal sent directly to their hearing devices without having to

use any additional technology. They can have their television technology

transmitted directly to their hearing devices. They can use the app on their

smartphone to change listening programs for them.

That is something that we have not in previous years seen. That is an exciting

component that we have added to our technology. When you come to Southwest

Hearing Center, at either our Phoenix or our Scottsdale location, you will be

entering into a relationship with us that will hopefully last for years. We

don't just fit a patient with hearing aids and then send them on their way and

forget about them. We have them come in for regular follow-up visits. We

re-evaluate their hearing loss annually. We inform the patients about newer

technology should their hearing devices become old or not function the way they

should anymore. As a result we have patients who have

been coming to see us for decades, knowing that they can trust us to

provide them with hearing aids that will allow them to hear the very best

possible in all their listening environments.

Team GB Win Surprise Ice Hockey Gold in 1936 | The Olympics On The Record - Duration: 4:40.

Great Britain is NOT a major team

in international ice hockey.

The national side has not qualified for the Olympic Games

for decades, their last appearance coming in 1948.

Since world rankings were introduced in the 1980s,

their ranking has never reached higher than 21st.

You have to go back to the 1920s and 1930s

for a time when Britain were a significant force in the game.

Canada, on the other hand,

has a long history of ice hockey success.

The Canadian team dominated the Olympic Winter Games in 1924.

Great Britain, thanks to half their team

being brought up in Canada,

won bronze.

Scotland, England, Wales, Canada -

who cares as long as they're competing for king and empire?

And then came the 1936 Winter Olympic Games in Germany,

where British ice hockey enjoyed its finest hour.

Yeah, hockey! Remember that match we had on holiday?

What a game that was! Get in!

That was AIR hockey, Jan. This is ICE hockey.

Yeah - ice air hockey.

A group of 13 British athletes,

born in places like Huddersfield,

Beckenham, Bootle and Barking,

managed to turn the form book on its head.

The secret, even the biggest GB fan would admit,

lay a long way from the British Isles.

They were born in Britain,

but players like Kilpatrick, Dailley, Stinchcombe and Archer

had all been raised on maple syrup.

In fact, all but two of the British players

learned their hockey on Canadian ice.

By 1936, Canada had not lost a single match

in the history of the Olympic Winter Games.

Their record - played 17, won 16, one draw, lost none.

Goals for - 209, goals against - 8.

When GB had the misfortune

to face the might of Canada in 1928,

they were thrashed 14-0.

To solve that problem in 1936,

the British had one solution - more Canadians.

Carl Erhardt led the Canadian...

I mean, British team.

Jimmy "The Parson" Foster became the lynchpin.

A goal-tender originally from Glasgow, he made his name

in his adopted home of Winnipeg

and stood out in the Canadian leagues.

He and winger Sandy Archer,

also from Winnipeg via the East End of London,

had both kept their British passports

and they faced suspension from the Canadian Hockey Association

for their loyalty to the Great Britain squad.

But they played on regardless.

Foster kept three shutouts in seven games,

Archer scored twice.

Team Canada, fortunately,

had the opportunity to solve their differences

on the ice because,

inevitably, Canada faced off

against Great Britain in Germany.

Canada vs Great Britain - or you could say Canada vs Canada.

The dramatic match ended

with the Canadians with the British passports

beating the Canadians without.

More officially, Great Britain beat Canada 2-1.

GB went on to win against Czechoslovakia

and tie against the United States

and, with that, Great Britain snatched Olympic gold.

Canada lost the title under its own name,

but won it under Britain.

The record books state the result in black and white.

Canada...

I mean, Great Britain

were men's ice hockey gold medallists 1936.

Vegeta's Nipples! Episode 126 Animation Breakdown - Dragon Ball Super - Duration: 10:05.

Welcome back to another Animation Breakdown.

We are so close to the end of Super now, it's kind of hard to believe.

After a few shaky weeks as far as animation goes, last week brought us back around to

the good stuff, with fan-favourite Shuuichiro Manabe making a brief appearance to round

things off.

This week we're continuing the trend of well-animated episodes, and while the high

points aren't quite as high as what Manabe brought us last week, the overall average

is significantly higher thanks to a nice array of talented animators.

Not too surprising considering Yashima solo'd last week, but worth keeping in mind.

The first half comes to us supervised by Tsutomo Ono.

Who, despite being on the series since episode 60, has been a bit of a mystery, with the

two animators on his team that were familiar to me - Taiichiro Ohara and Shin Young-soon

– not taking part in this episode.

Thankfully that's not quite the end of the world as far as this video goes.

Miyako Tsuji, the chief animation supervisor, is all over this episode correcting huge chunks

of artwork, and I have to say I'm seriously impressed by her output here.

The edge to her drawings that seemed to be missing from previous episodes is back, and

it's doing wonders for Vegeta in this episode.

It's maybe not quite as good as some of my favourite Vegeta shots of hers from the

Future Trunks arc, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't all about what she's doing

this week.

A great showing from her that means I don't have to rack my brain trying to work out what

the other supervisor, Yasuhiro Namtame, looks like either.

On to the animation then, this first half is a little bit inconsistent.

It opens up with Toppo vs #17, which is reasonably well done – there's a great sequence of

17 running away from Toppo's blasts which I think might be my favourite cut in the episode.

It's got some absolutely gorgeous effects work, and I think what's sort of bittersweet

about it is that Toei's compositing team forgot to blur one plume of smoke, so the

lovely detailed effects are on full display for a split second.

Comparing it to the other shots that weren't quite so lucky to escape the blur, and I'm

sure you can see why I'm so vehemently against the practise.

It really destroys the detail, and you'll see this with one scene in the second half

especially.

While that scene was great in spite on that, I can't say the same for what follows.

There's a lengthy period of action here that's really poorly done.

Toppo firing his blasts is really just a still with some screenshake added, and when you

stabilise the shot, you can see it's a pretty big corner-cut.

I'd normally waive this away because it's pretty inconsequential on the whole, but it

really is pretty extensive – it carries right through to where Freeza chimes in with

the same thing.

When combined with the reused scenes and the digital effects work, it's an unfortunate

blemish in the middle of this quality sandwich.

And I call it that because right afterwards, the effects god Kenji Miuma's turn rolls

around, as he animates the tail end of this section, leading into Goku and Vegeta vs Jiren.

I really can't understate just how beautiful his smoke is.

Effects work often goes undervalued in anime, but interesting shapes and dynamic smoke behaviour

isn't easy to animate, but he does so effortlessly.

I love this section where the beam is whipping against the smoke.

It's not super complex, but it feels really premium thanks to those great shapes.

Moving on, Goku and Vegeta against Jiren is yet another example of what I spoke about

last week with Nikaido's contribution.

Looped or limited animation is not bad animation, it's entirely down to how it's executed,

and I think Miuma's done a wonderful job here.

Although it's looped and although it's not animated with many frames, you get this

feeling that the two characters are stylishly rotating around Jiren thanks to the way he

poses and moves the characters between each frame.

It's very effective conservative animation, and with little moments like Jiren throwing

his beam breaking up the loop, it comes together nicely without making the limited approach

stand out in any meaningful way.

Again, it's like I said with Nikaido last week, and again with Shida's work in 110

and 95.

It can be frustrating when good animators don't have the time to deliver scenes with

stacks of movement, but their abilities will always allow them to excel over others, regardless.

That might sound obvious – good animators are always better than mediocre animators

– but I've seen unfortunate trends of people devaluing strong limited work because

they know they're capable of doing better.

That might be the case, but a scene being limited does not make it bad, in the same

way a scene with lots of movement isn't always more competently executed than a limited

approach.

I think the anime Hand Shakers sure proved that one for us.

If you value your eyes, I'd suggest avoiding it.

Anyway, with that tangent out of the way, I wanna touch on the storyboarding in this

episode.

The first half's board comes to us from Yoshitaka Yashima.

If you've been watching my videos for a while now, you'll know I'm usually a big

fan of Yashima's storyboards.

They're typically filled with interesting angles, and do a nice job of showcasing scale.

Unfortunately, that's not quite the case with his board in this first half – it's

a little bit flat, and the action isn't framed in particularly interesting ways, either.

It feels really small and by the numbers, which is so unusual for him.

Although boards are done well in advance of episode animation, I can only imagine his

schedule was probably knocked a little out of whack by this coming so soon after his

own episode, especially considering just how many boards he's done lately.

The second half's board, however, is pretty damn fantastic, and it comes from Tadayoshi

Yamamuro.

I have to say, I'm really surprised and impressed by what he's come up with here.

We all know my thoughts on Resurrection F's very amateur and flat storyboarding, which

was of course his first foray into that field.

His board for the Future Trunks arc special was a significant improvement, but with it

being so heavily referenced from the manga, it was hard to really say whether he'd improved

in any meaningful way.

This definitely confirms it, though.

This is one dynamic board that bests Yashima's efforts in pretty much every way.

He's got some very creative angles going on here, and the scale is definitely realised

very nicely.

I do think there are areas where he falls back on flat compositions, but I'd be lying

if I said this wasn't a significant step up over anything he's shown us before.

I'm now quite curious to see how he evolves in this role in the future – was this a

bit of a luck or is he actively learning?

It'd be interesting to see him transition from an animation role to a directorial one

permanently.

Back to the animation, this second half kicks off with Vegeta vs Toppo, which I think may

come from Jin Inaba.

This guess is based entirely on process of elimination as you'll soon see.

It's several minutes long, Inaba's the top credited key animator on the episode,

and the rest of the scenes seem pretty easy to identify, so I can't imagine who else

this would be from if not him.

Just a guess, but there you go.

At the tail end of his scene, it looks like Tu Yong-ce takes over as Vegeta punches Toppo

into the rocks.

You can see Tu's smoke effects, which look pretty much identical to his scene in 122.

It's a great little cut, actually.

There's a good chunk of well executed movement, with some neat smears, and a nice bit of the

on-model character art we've come to expect from him.

There's a lot of on-model work scattered sporadically throughout this episode actually,

so I do think Yamamuro played a part in tidying things up, particularly since Namatame, the

supervisor of this half, hasn't demonstrated a particularly strong ability on his work

on the series so far.

Next up, as Vegeta starts up his suicide-but-not-suicide attack, Kenta Yokoya steps in.

Yokoya's a superstar freelance animator with great ties to Studio Bones.

We last saw him do a very tiny scene at the end of episode 116, thanks to Ken Otsuka,

and now he's back presumably of his own volition, doing a very similar scene.

It's pretty limited and effects based, but showcases his trademark debris and smoke.

Unfortunately, it's also the scene that suffers the most thanks to the overzealous

blurring I mentioned earlier.

Instead of us enjoying the lovely shapes that fans of his work are used to, we're left

with a bit of an incomprehensible smeary mess.

It still has the impact the scene needs, but as far as respecting the effort put into the

drawings, it's pretty depressing.

But that's about it as far as noteworthy animation goes.

This was a bit of strange episode for me.

It was written by Ayumu Hisao who's a pretty horrible Dragon Ball writer – he last handled

episode 119, which if you remember was the very disconnected one just after Universe

6 was erased.

I think this suffered similar issues, actually.

After Freeza hit the deck last week, having him pop back up again for a split second felt

very strange.

And again, with how few opponents are left, it's bizarre that this is being written

so episodically.

In spite of the animation this week being pretty satisfactory, I will say that I'm

still not 100% optimistic about the state of the production at the moment.

This episode was still filled with a good chunk of BANK animation.

From the recap after the recap at the start, to the Final Flash from last week, and of

course, the overly lengthy flashback of Vegeta's sacrifice.

These are all ways of saving time, and many of them are clearly not there by choice.

I do feel like we're on up part of the curve now, so I expect the episodes to get stronger

and stronger from here on out, but it's probably not going to be smooth sailing.

I just hope this all makes some sort of sense by the time Super ends.

But that's it from me for now.

Let me know down below how you felt about today's episode, and this time, I'd like

to hear about your thoughts in terms of story too.

I know this episode has been pretty divisive, so I'm curious to hear where you guys stand

on it.

As always, be sure to rate the video, subscribe if you're new, and I will see you next time.

7 Organs You Could Totally Live Without - Duration: 10:19.

[♪ INTRO]

The human body is an incredibly complex machine made up of systems of organs all working together

to keep things humming along smoothly.

So you'd think that taking anything out would make the whole thing break down.

But of course, lots of people live without some of their organs.

Like, you're better off without an appendix if it's giving you a problem, for example.

And you can afford to lose all kinds of more important organs, too, like a giant chunk

of your liver or even an entire lung.

Because yeah, your body is a finely tuned machine — if you don't mind me saying

so — but it also has a bunch of redundancies that allow it to adapt to some pretty extreme

changes.

So here are just a few of the bits you can live without.

Number one, the brain.

You didn't think we were gonna go there!

Of all of the organs in the human body to lose, even partially, you would think that

the brain would be a total dealbreaker.

I mean, it controls or coordinates basically everything else.

But it turns out that sometimes, it's better to live with just one hemisphere — half

a brain, in other words.

Like when people have a kind of epilepsy where seizures stem from one side of the brain.

This can happen with some developmental brain disorders, or with rare conditions like when

one brain hemisphere is abnormally large.

One-sided seizures are often difficult to treat, and they can be debilitating.

So sometimes doctors recommend a hemispherectomy: the removal of some or all of the half of

the brain that's affected.

It's a very rare, extreme operation, obviously, but when it's successful, it can result

in a relatively normal life.

After a hemispherectomy, between 50-90% of patients become completely seizure free.

They do experience some paralysis in the half of the body normally controlled by the missing

brain hemisphere, but most are still able to walk if they could before the procedure.

And the surgery doesn't usually result in cognitive deficits, either.

Younger patients tend to have fewer side effects because the remaining healthy hemisphere is

still developing, allowing it to compensate for what's missing.

Still, it's a difficult procedure with major risks, so doctors don't just chop out half

of somebody's brain without carefully weighing other options.

But the idea that you can lose half of your brain and still be alive at all is pretty

incredible.

You might even say it's … mind-blowing.

Breathing is another thing that's kind of essential for human life, so you would think

that losing a lung would cause a lot of problems.

But you can get by just fine with just one lung.

Lung diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancer, or tuberculosis can wreck

someone's lung tissues.

So in some cases, part of a lung or even the entire lung will be removed in a surgery called

a pneumonectomy.

When one lung is removed, the extra space allows other organs to shift a bit, giving

the remaining lung some more room to expand.

Studies have shown that in some animals like dogs and rats, the remaining lung can actually

grow new alveoli—the little sacs where gas exchange happens.

It's thought that children who get a pneumonectomy might also do this since their lungs are still

developing.

But in adults, it's more likely that the alveoli just stretch and expand a little to

move more air through.

Ultimately, one lung is able to do about 70-80% of what two lungs can, and that is usually

enough.

Depending on age and other health factors, it might be a bit more difficult to do strenuous

activities, but some people who have had this surgery go on to run marathons, which is more

than I can say for me.

Your stomach has to be tough enough to mush around your meals in gastric acid before passing

them along to the small intestine.

So it's fairly resilient.

But it can still become impaired or diseased to the point that the patient needs surgery

to redirect the digestive tract around their stomach or to remove part of it.

And in some cases, surgeons perform a total gastrectomy to take out the whole thing

and just connect the esophagus directly to the small intestine.

Oddly enough, this doesn't really affect the overall process of digestion since most

of it occurs in the small intestine anyway.

But since there is no stomach to store food in, patients often need to eat smaller, more

frequent meals.

Sometimes they also need additional vitamin supplements for things that aren't absorbed

well by the small intestine, like vitamin B12 or vitamin D.

And some patients might develop a side effect called dumping syndrome, which, no, does not

refer to the 'dumping' that you may be thinking of right now.

Sugars and starches are usually digested in the stomach, but after a gastrectomy, they

"dump" straight into the small intestine.

Since the intestine isn't used to that, it recruits water to help break those things

down, and a lot of that water comes from your blood, causing a drop in blood pressure.

With dumping syndrome, that can cause all kinds of unpleasant symptoms after a meal:

cramping and bloating, nausea, weakness, dizziness, and low blood pressure.

But generally, dietary changes are enough to overcome these issues, and people without

a stomach get enough calories to go back to their lives.

The spleen, which sits to the left of the stomach, is also a pretty useful organ.

It's involved in filtering blood, including removing and breaking down old red blood cells,

and it's one of the places where infection-fighting white blood cells are produced.

But when bad things happen to someone's abdomen—like if they get shot or stabbed

or get in a motorcycle accident like my father-in-law, the spleen can rupture.

That's super dangerous because it can result in internal bleeding that could be fatal.

The spleen can also cause problems if it becomes enlarged from an infection, because the swelling

can trap and destroy healthy blood cells, leading to anemia.

In those cases, doctors will do a splenectomy, where they remove part or all of the spleen.

It's typically considered a safe procedure, but because of its role in the immune system,

people without a spleen are more prone to infections, especially from certain bacteria.

So for people without spleens, it's important for them to boost their immune system by taking

preventative antibiotics and staying vaccinated.

But the redundancy of the human body means the immune system isn't completely destroyed.

And the liver can pick up the slack when it comes to filtering blood.

Speaking of which…

Your liver does a lot—it processes nutrients, detoxifies your blood, and produces bile,

a fluid that helps digestion.

And yet, while you can't have your whole liver removed, you can donate more than half

of it to help someone whose liver is diseased.

What's really amazing, though, is that unlike your other organs, your liver will grow back.

Your liver is made of hepatocytes, specialized cells that don't actively replicate…that

is, until some are missing.

When a piece of liver is removed, hepatocytes reactivate and start replicating again, growing

new liver cells.

Liver regeneration is so efficient that you can lose up to 65% of your liver and it'll

grow back within a year.

Just a quarter of a liver can become a completely new liver in a transplant recipient.

Like any major surgery, there are risks and potential complications.

But if you're in good health and feeling altruistic, liver donation is a thing that

you can do and probably be totally fine afterwards.

Tucked underneath your liver is a small, pear-shaped organ: the gallbladder.

Its main job is to store the bile that the liver produces until it's needed for digestion.

But sometimes, the components of bile harden into small pebble-like stones, and if those

stones become a problem, doctors just yank out the whole thing.

Bile is mostly made up of cholesterol, bile salts, and a waste compound called bilirubin

that's responsible for the color of your poop.

In the small intestine, bile's job is to help digest fats and break down fat-soluble

vitamins like vitamin A and vitamin D.

But for reasons that actually aren't well-understood, the cholesterol and bilirubin in bile can

harden into gallstones, which can cause blockages in the bile duct, the tube that leads to the

small intestine.

Problematic gallstones are super painful, and without treatment, they can lead to infections

and inflammation and even be deadly.

Unlike kidney stones, which can often be peed out, gallstones don't exit willingly.

Sometimes they can be dissolved with medication, but usually they return after the meds are

stopped.

So in most cases, the treatment for gallstones is to remove the gallbladder entirely by performing

a cholecystectomy.

This surgery was first performed in 1882.

A German surgeon noted that other mammals don't have a gallbladder, so he figured

ours probably wasn't too important.

And he was kind of right.

The bile still gets to your small intestine without it — it just doesn't get temporarily

stored along the way.

If your gallbladder is removed and the surgery goes smoothly, usually all you have to show

for it is a tiny scar and maybe a little bit of extra indigestion.

Each of your kidneys is made up of more than a million filtering units called nephrons,

which remove waste and excess fluid from the blood.

If that doesn't seem too important to you, just imagine what would happen to your house

if you couldn't take out the trash for a couple months.

In your body, increased levels of waste can cause vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration...

The whole body can swell, increasing blood pressure and imparing breathing.

And chemical imbalances from improper fluid management can lead to serious issues like

bone and muscle loss.

Ultimately, kidney failure can be fatal.

Yet, you only really need one of your kidneys.

Each day, a pair of kidneys filters about 150 liters of blood to produce about a liter

and a half of urine.

But even one healthy kidney can do all that work on its own, which is why live kidney

donation is a thing.

When one kidney is removed, the other kidney's nephrons compensate by getting bigger so they

can each do more filtering.

It becomes just as effective as two kidneys would be.

And weirdly, leaving a bad kidney or even two inside of you isn't a problem, either.

Recipients don't always get their faulty kidneys removed, so they actually end up living

with a total of three kidneys, even though only one is doing all of the work.

Obviously, your body works best and is the healthiest when all of the parts are present

and functioning.

But it is definitely possible to live a healthy and relatively normal life without some organs,

because the human body is incredibly good at adapting to change.

Remove an organ or two, and it just takes it in stride, it's like, "I'm gonna

be one big lung now, I'm fine!"

I mean, it doesn't look that impressive, I don't think, but it is pretty wonderful,

thank you body!

How to Keep Yourself Motivated Towards Your Goals- Vegan Vlog Episode 15 - Duration: 6:16.

hey guys Kevin Kreider I wanted to speak to you about winds and how to basically

trick yourself and to always doing the things that you don't want to do like

dieting and losing weight or going to the gym or let's just say it has to do

with business or your spouse and that is celebrating celebrating your wins and

what celebrating is is basically sending positive reinforcement like it's like

Pavlov's dog the rule of Pavlov's dog which is like you make a dog do

something you give it a treat afterwards and then when the dog sees this tree it

starts salivating because it knows the rewards about to happen and you're

basically doing that for yourself and what a lot of people will do when they

do Fitness's it's just something unfortunately it's something destructive

what to do is be like okay now I deserved this whole chocolate cake or I

deserve to drink this case of beer and then they do destructive things kind of

like when the Eagles want and got into the Super Bowl they celebrate it and you

saw the silliest things like going up the rocky steps or hitting a pole or

beating people up and that's the thing and then you see somebody like another

country like Vietnam it's chaotic it's chaos or sellable

crazy dad

but they're not harming anybody it's totally different there's a different

type of celebration celebration should be something that is good for you good

for other people and doesn't harm anybody else too and it feels good

that's what it has to do it has to feel good too if there's a negative feeling

to it it probably won't stick if you celebrate so for instance when my

clients actually lose like 3 to 4 pounds of body fat and one week the first week

I say you got to celebrate when you see that what is it are you gonna scream I

get vibe yes or are you gonna go out and get

yourself a pedicure manicure a massage or something do something good for

somebody else or go out and have a cup of coffee read

a book or go meditate a little bit extra take a yoga class that you never had

never done and wanted to try before do something every time you succeed in

something to celebrate because of what it tells your brain and body is that

there's a reward at the end of this and I'll make you keep doing more and more

of it at the same time and I just wanted to speak about the different types of

celebration because you know being a Philadelphian I'm proud of and the

Eagles going into the celebration of winning and getting into the Super Bowl

and facing the Patriots but the way they celebrated it's like you know could be

harmful other people its destructive and it's not helping out anything else on

it's like it's a little ridiculous to me I'm a little bit ashamed about being

American in that sense but the Vietnamese it was just like honking

celebrating waving their flag they were loving the life if they made the Asia

Cup for the first time in history I was here for history this will never happen

again in Vietnam that first time though ever when the the championship and be

able to go into the Asia World Cup it's never happened before and yet they

celebrated it was a time of joy and what that does

it allows them to just say hey we want to do this again cause reward at the end

of it and I'll going back to Philly I don't think there's really that much of

a reward from them it's like it's like destruction and chaos and it's just like

those harming other people I'm sure other people got hurt meantime it's just

like embarrassing you know but the thing is like you want to do so it's good for

you like for me I worked my ass off knowing I was gonna come to Asia for two

to three months and I was like you know and take this yoga retreat now I'm here

in Vietnam but I was like it's a little side trip but it was a reward knowing

that I'll work my ass off for nine months not taking any time off save

money and be here and I'm loving it so I might do that again where it's say I'll

take another nine months and then do the same thing it's just like just on it's

just like a good reward for me so you got to do something for yourself that'll

help you like celebrate your wins and not go into a tailspin of pain like so

for instance at a client to who would go on vacation she got the body of her

dreams and then she was just like well you know every time I come back from

vacation I never want to come come back to work and I feel drained and

de-energize and I was like well because you're using a vacation wrong using it

as a reward a destructive reward thinking that if you drink and eat

whatever you want that you're gonna reward yourself because you get your

fitness goals and you feel good but I'm like a vacation is a reward that's used

wrong use vacation to reward yourself and take care of yourself taking action

app go eat some extra food that you've never had before

maybe exotic foods and stuff and be able to say like hey you know what I'm ready

to go back to work a vacation should rejuvenate you most people need a

vacation from your vacation and that's why they're miserable at work but if you

use vacation right as a reward you will actually want to go back to work and

you'll be excited to go back to work whereas most people don't actually do

that which is the problem and use vacation to actually take care of

yourself and not destroy yourself more where you need a vacation from the

vacation that's a problem and you know you gotta use your words better for

yourself so I'm here Vietnam and I know that probably got off a

little bit of a tangent of more than just hitting your fitness goals but it

can do with real life and I just showed you an example for that and a client's

life and how I use it in my own life so I hope that gave you some value and if

it did please subscribe to my youtube channel share comments share this with

somebody who's who's come back from a vacation and need a vacation from a

vacation so anyway please subscribe I'll see you guys soon

Former CIA Official Threatens Trump: "You've Been Around for 13 Months We've Been Around

Since 1908.

We're Going to Win"

Former CIA counterterrorism official Phil Mudd threatened President Trump after the

release of the House Intelligence FISA memo.

This is the same guy who called him self a "proud sh*tholer" a couple weeks ago.

Phil Mudd: The workforce is going to look and this and say, this is an attack on our

ability to conduct an investigation with integrity…

The FBI people, I'm going to tell you, "are ticked" and they're going to be saying,

I guarantee you, "You think you can push this off this?"…

You better think again, Mr. President.

You've been around for 13 months.

We've been around since 1908.

I know how this game is going to be played.

We're going

to win.

It's not the first time this guy hurled threats at the President.

Their colleague, Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, also criticized the release

of the memo, echoing that it's "dangerous.

She tweeted, "DonaldTrump's decision to declassify the partisan memo, made in cooperation

w Congressional Republicans, is a dangerous attack on our justice system and the rule

of law."

Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley of Oregon called the memo "cherry-picked classified information"

in a statement.

"This puts us in extremely dangerous territory," he said.

"It upends the relationship between the intelligence community and Congress, threatening

the ability for different branches of government to work together to protect the American people's

safety."

Tim Kaine Tweeted:

"Law enforcement opposes this," tweeted Sen. Tim Kaine, a Virginia Democrat.

"The intelligence community opposes this.

Even many Republicans oppose this.

This is dangerous territory, it disrespects law enforcement, and it's an alarming partisan

attack on efforts to investigate hostile foreign interference in our democracy."

What do you think about this?

HOW TO MAKE BANANA BREAD - Perfect Dark Banana Bread - Duration: 6:04.

Hi a huge welcome to Steve's Kitchen Today I'm going to make that delicious

banana bread we made a couple of days ago on the live

show but I'm going to do it in a condensed version so it's nice and simple for you

to follow. Now I'm using about 2/3 of a cup of sugar, if you like a sweeter

banana bread then you can use a full cup of sugar

but if you like something a little bit healthier just follow along with this

recipe. Come on, let's get on and make this fantastic delicious banana bread.

Now a couple of days after the live show my bananas have got even softer and

squishy. Oh these are red tips Organic and they're so delicious, these are going

to be so sweet. You'll see the skins have become super thin and the bananas are so

so soft which is going to make them wonderful and sweet. Now I'm adding two

bananas into the bowl, the softer and sweeter these bananas are the better the

banana bread is going to be and it's also going to make them very easy to

mash. Now you want to get a fork in there and just mash the bananas up into a

paste, there's a strong smell of sweet bananas coming off of here. So it's

approximately a cup of bananas and into that we're just going to break in two

fresh eggs and when I use eggs I like to mask the flavor a little bit with a

teaspoon of vanilla. I'm using 2/3 of a cup of a soft brown sugar, which I've

compacted because I want that molasses flavor ,I'm going to scoop out a little

bit of that brown sugar and I'm replacing the volume with some thick

dark molasses and that's going to add to the richness and the darkness of my

banana bread. Next up by way of fat I'm adding in half a cup of coconut oil, you

could use butter or any fat really just to add some moisture and some extra

depth to this banana bread and now I'm going to get my hand whisk in there and

just whisk this up until we get a nice smooth batter. Now set the whisk aside,

I've got 200 grams that's about 7 ounces or a cup and a half of wholemeal flour,

I'm just going to add some powdered cinnamon about a teaspoon of powdered

cinnamon on top of the flour. We'll add that in with our batter, one teaspoon of

baking powder and about half a teaspoon of salt.

Often I don't like to use all wholemeal flour in baking but I find with a banana

bread it works really well. I'm also going to be using poppy seeds and sesame

seeds, now this is an optional ingredient. I think it really makes the banana bread

but if you're not a fan you could leave this out. So quarter of a cup of poppy

seeds and a quarter cup of sesame seeds and this will add a lovely nuttiness to

the bread. Now we're gently going to fold that in, we don't want to over fold the

batter and the last thing I've got some walnuts which I've roasted a little bit

in the oven, just to give them extra flavor. That's about a cup of walnuts and

I'm not going to dice them up I want to keep them whole, I want lots of texture

in the banana bread and gently fold those walnuts in. Now often I like to put

some dried fruit in with my banana bread, I'm not going to do that today but if

you want to add some apricots or some cranberries in there they go really well.

Now I've preheated my oven 170 degrees Celsius that's about 350 Fahrenheit.

We've got a 1 pound loaf tin which I've just greased the inside with a little

bit of butter. Next we want to take a little bit of flour and we just want to

coat the inside of the bread tin and let the excess flour drop into the mix, a

little tap and that'll just help our loaf release when it comes out of the

oven and just pour that banana loaf batter into the tray, I'll give that a

little tap. Now before I bake it, I like to sprinkle a

little bit of sugar over the top just to help caramelize the top of the loaf and

here I've got some more sesame and poppy seeds, just give them a little mix

through and I'm going to evenly sprinkle them over the top of my loaf. We're going

to pop that loaf into the oven and we're going to bake for about 50 to 60 minutes

until we got a lovely golden brown dark crust on top. The house smells of baked

banana bread, I'm just going to take that out of the oven. Now I'm going to leave it

for about 10 minutes to cool on a rack and then I'm going to tip it out and

you'll see how easily that drops out of there

and then we place it on a cooling rack and let it completely cool down.

It's a beautiful day so I've come outside to enjoy this banana bread it

still smells delicious. It's cooled down, just a little bit warm, I'm going to cut

myself off the end piece of the bread. Look at the way the walnuts are running

through that, it looks delicious, the colors are rich and dark which is what

I've got from that wholemeal flour and the dark sugars we put in there. The

walnuts are running right the way through.

How would you serve this? Somebody mentioned to me the other day, a bit of

cream cheese, I like just a little bit of salted butter. Sweet treacly smells

coming off there, this is delicious. I know I've had this banana bread so many

times before and I love all the little nutty seeds in there, you have to give

this a try, take some photographs, share them across with me on any social media.

Have some fun, I'm going to tuck in and give this a try.

Oh yeah the bananas were perfect, he's got a great balance of sweetness, there's

that rich caramel flavor in there as well.

This is delicious, not too much sugar, if you want more sugar in of course you can

add it. If you decide to make this, send me some pictures across on any social

media and don't forget join me for another episode of Steve's kitchen for

some fun very shortly, be good and I'll see you there.

You Won't Believe How Many Pills Were Shipped To ONE Rural Town - Duration: 6:52.

THE OPIOID CRISIS CONTINUES TO DESTROY LIVES AND FAMILIES

THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND NEW DATA INDICATES THAT THERE

ARE CERTAIN COMPANIES THAT ARE GUILTY OF SPREADING OPIOIDS AND

SPECIFIC PARTS OF THE COUNTRY WHERE ADDICTION HAS BEEN

THE WORST, SO WEST VIRGINIA IS AN EXAMPLE OF THAT AND HERE

IS THE DATA THAT WE JUST LEARNED FROM A REPORTER FROM THE

CHARLESTON GAZETTE MAIL.

HIS NAME IS ERIC ERIE AND HE FINDS:

NO, THOSE DRUG COMPANIES PROBABLY THOUGHT THOSE 2900

PEOPLE ARE IN A LOT OF PAIN AND THEY ARE REALLY GOING TO NEED

THIS SO THE REASON WHY THAT IS A GREAT PIECE OF REPORTING BY THE

CHARLESTON GAZETTE MAIL AND IT GIVES YOU CONTEXT INTO HOW

MUCH THE COMPANY'S NEW.

THEY KNEW THAT IT WASN'T GOING FOR THIS 2900 PEOPLE.

THEY KNEW THEY WERE RUNNING PILL MILLS AND THEY KNEW IT WAS

FOR ILLEGAL DISTRIBUTION OF THOSE DRUGS.

THEY ALSO KNOW THAT IT IS A GATEWAY DRUG.

NOT MARIJUANA, THAT WAS A LIE ALL ALONG.

THIS IS ACTUAL GATEWAY DRUG.

THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENT PLAYERS IN THE OPIOID CRISIS.

A COURSE OR ARE THERE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES

THAT ENCOURAGE LOVER PRESCRIPTION OF THESE

OPIOIDS, BUT THEN THERE ARE THE DRUG WHOLESALERS THAT

ESSENTIALLY SHIP OUT THESE PAINKILLERS TO VARIOUS

PHARMACIES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY.

THE WHOLESALERS THAT WERE GUILTY OF SENDING OR SHIPPING THE

SUPERFLUOUS AMOUNTS OF DRUGS TO WEST VIRGINIA WERE MIAMI

LUKEN AND H.D.

SMITH.

IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A LOOK AT HOW MUCH OF AN IMPACT THIS IS

HAVE, IF YOU LOOK AT WEST VIRGINIA AS A WHOLE, FOR

EXAMPLE:

YOU SEE THE DISPARITY THERE.

RELATIVELY SMALL POPULATION, A HUGE FLOW OF DRUGS

INTO THE STATE.

TO JUXTAPOSE THAT AGAINST DEATH BY A CAR ACCIDENT, THEY WERE

15 PER 1000 PEOPLE.

I WANT TO DIVE INTO THAT.

HOMICIDE FOR 5.9.

IF YOU PUT HOMICIDES IN CAR ACCIDENTS TOGETHER" YOU'RE

NOWHERE NEAR THE PEOPLE DYING FROM OPIOID OVERDOSE.

THEY PICK WEST VIRGINIA TO FUNNEL THESE DRUGS IN.

THEY KNOW THE PEOPLE IN WEST VIRGINIA ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE

780 MILLION PILLS, THEY DO THAT BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT IS A

DISTRIBUTION CENTER FOR ILLEGAL PEDDLING OF THOSE DRUGS.

THERE IS NO WAY THOSE DRUG COMPANIES, LOOK AT THEIR

INTERNAL NUMBERS AGO THAT MAKE SENSE AND I BET THE PEOPLE

OF WEST VIRGINIA DO MAY NEED THAT MANY PAINKILLERS.

THEY KNOW EXACT WHAT IS GOING ON AND SINCE WEST VIRGINIA IS

A HUB OF THAT, IF YOU ARE THE HUB IT HITS YOU THE

HARDEST BECAUSE IT IS EVERYWHERE.

THOSE ARE STUNNING NUMBERS.

TO GET BEYOND CAR CRASHES FOR CAUSE OF DEATH IS MASSIVE

AND NOW THEY ARE ABOUT THREE TIMES THE SIZE OF CAR

CRASHES IS OPIOID DEATHS IN WEST VIRGINIA.

EXACTLY.

BY THE WAY, THOSE WITH THE NUMBERS FOR 2016.

THE NUMBERS FOR 2017 ARE NOT LOOKING GOOD.

IT'S NOT JUST WEST VIRGINIA, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE

COUNTRY AS A WHOLE.

IT'S NOT JUST WEST VIRGINIA THAT IS SUFFERING, THERE ARE OTHER

AREAS OF THE COUNTRY THAT ARE SUFFERING FROM OPIOID ADDICTION

WHICH BY THE WAY, LATER, BECAUSE OF STRICTER REGULATIONS TURNS

INTO HEROIN ADDICTION BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SO BADLY ADDICTED

THAT THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO HELP WITH THAT ADDICTION.

WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS THE WITHDRAWS ARE DEVASTATING.

I WANT TO BE CLEAR ABOUT THE LAST COUPLE OF THINGS HERE.

THE BASIS FOR OPIOID MEDICINE, IT SOUNDS LIKE OPIOID IS

PERSPECTIVES IN PAINKILLERS LEGAL, IT MUST BE OKAY.

NO, THE BASIS IS OPIUM, THE SAME THING THAT GOES INTO HEROIN AND

OPIUM.

JUST AS DANGEROUS AS THOUGH ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE THESE DRUGS,

WE JUST MET MADE THEM LEGAL UNLIKE CORPORATIONS MAKE A

GAZILLION DOLLARS A PROFIT OFF OF THEM AND THEN INSTEAD OF DRUG

DEALERS, THEY DRESS UP IN TIES AND SUITS AND THEY PEDAL ALL OF

THIS BUT IS DRUG DEALING AND IT DOES GET PEOPLE ADDICTED AND WAY

MORE ADDICTED THAN MARIJUANA, NOT EVEN CLOSE AND NUMBER

OF DEATHS FROM MARIJUANA AND THAT SAME TIME PERIOD,

2017 WAS THE ROAD.

NUMBER OF DEATHS FROM OPIOIDS IS 67,000.

THERE ARE SO MANY DEATHS FROM OPIOIDS IN THE COUNTRY THAT FOR

THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE 1960S OUR LIFE EXPECTANCY OVERALL FOR

THE WHOLE COUNTRY HAS GONE DOWN THE LAST TWO YEARS ON THAT

ALONE.

THAT IS AMAZING.

BUT LUCKILY, WE HAVE AN ATTORNEY GENERAL THAT IS

HYPER FOCUSED ON PAINKILLERS AND GOING AFTER THESE

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES AS OPPOSED TO YOU KNOW, STATES

THAT OF LEGALIZED MARIJUANA FOR RECREATIONAL USE.

ALL RIGHT, WE DO NOT HAVE THAT.

WE HAVE AN ASS CLOWN.

JEFF SESSIONS IS GOING AFTER MARIJUANA BUT WORSE THAN

THAT, DONALD TRUMP DECLARED INNOCENT NATIONAL EMERGENCY

AND THEN PROCEEDED TO NOT ONLY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT, BUT

HAS NOW GUTTED AN EXECUTIVE BRANCH PROGRAM DESIGNED TO

COMBAT OPIOID ABUSE, CUT FUNDING FOR BY 95%.

THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU.

WEST VIRGINIA VOTED FOR TRUMP MORE THAN I BELIEVE ANY

OTHER STATE IN THE COUNTRY AND NOW, HE IS JUST LAUGHING AT YOU.

Non Diet Approach to Eating and Weight Loss - Duration: 2:23.

There is a new approach to weight loss that actually doesn't involve fad diets.

Here is what the non-diet approach entails: 1.

The focus isn't so much on losing weight but on being healthy in general.

The idea is that if you have a healthy lifestyle, it will be inevitable

2.

There is a big focus on having a healthy relationship with food instead of fearing food or seeing

it as the enemy.

3.

Unlike diets, the non-diet approach doesn't have a timeframe.

Instead, it's a lifestyle change that is constantly changing and adapting with you.

Because of this, it becomes something that is sustainable.

4.

You don't count calories.

Instead, you focus on being more in tune with how your body feels so that you are able to

give it what it needs.

5.

You don't diet.

That means that you don't restrict or deprive yourself.

Instead you are able to enjoy certain foods such as starches in lesser portions from time

to time.

Even dessert is acceptable from time to time.

6.

The focus is on eating quality foods as opposed to the quantity.

7.

Protein and fiber are included in meals and snacks because they help quell hunger and

ensure that you feel satisfied.

8.

You accept your body as is as opposed to obsessing about being thinner.

9.

You start trusting in yourself to take care of your body the way you need to, regardless

of the past.

10.

You have a high self-esteem no matter what.

The idea behind the non-diet approach is that by having positive and healthy attitudes towards

food and your body, you are able to be healthy.

While weight loss can be a by-product it isn't the end all for this approach.

That's because the idea is that weight loss isn't necessary for happiness.

After all, true happiness can only com from within.

I'll soon be launching my Mindfulness for weight release program that consists of these

same mindsets.

If you haven't done so, be sure to subscribe to my newsletter and select your interests

by going to Sashacarrion.com so the moment it's ready I can let you know.

Whatever Happened To The Women Of Flavor Of Love - Duration: 5:38.

The ladies of VH1's Flavor of Love provided some of the wildest moments to ever grace

the reality screen scene.

And even a decade after Flavor Flav's TV time clock ran out, we still can't forget the women

who made his shows, and the spin-offs, so unforgettable.

So, what have the women of Flavor of Love been up to lately?

Let's take a look at what became of the rapper's former flames.

Tiffany "New York" Pollard

After getting dumped not once but twice by Flavor Flav on his shows, Tiffany "New York"

Pollard became the star of her own series of reality programs where she'd be the one

breaking all the hearts.

"You KNOW you love New York."

After appearing in a few series for the network, though, Pollard's relationship with VH1 cooled

off for a spell.

In recent years, however, New York has begun making a comeback with appearances on reality

shows like Famously Single and Celebrity Big Brother: U.K.

And in 2017, she even landed her own TV short series for VH1 called Brunch with Tiffany.

Brooke "Pumkin" Thompson

Flavor of Love wasn't Brooke "Pumkin" Thompson's last stint on the reality scene, either.

She went on to star in Charm School and I Love Money, and even appeared on a Playboy

channel special before returning to her hometown of Bakersfield, California.

In 2016, she told VH1:

"I have a real job now.

I work for an accounting firm.

Booooring!"

However, Thompson also revealed that her time away from the spotlight hasn't necessarily

been by choice.

She admitted:

"I would still be on reality TV if [someone was] still doing those types of shows.

Not to say that I would never do reality television again because I would totally do it again."

Some people never learn.

Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander

Although her relationship with Flavor Flav didn't last long, Season 1 winner Nicole "Hoopz"

Alexander soon found love with another famous man: basketball icon Shaquille O'Neal.

The couple started dating in 2010 and eventually got engaged before calling it quits in 2012.

She went on to date UFC fighter Ovince St. Preux, so clearly, her affinity for athletes

hasn't wavered.

On the professional side, Alexander began her own clothing boutique in Knoxville, Tennessee

and starred alongside her family in the Oxygen reality series It Takes a Sister.

London "Deelishis" Charles

Flavor Flav wasn't any better at making love last with Season 2 winner London "Deelishis"

Charles.

But Charles was able to eke out an entertainment career all her own after the showmance came

to an end.

She first dabbled in the recording business but settled into a spot as morning host of

a Detroit radio show.

She told VH1 of her vocal career:

"I am getting older … I want something in entertainment that's going to have longevity—and

radio's just that."

As for her personal relationships, Charles reportedly welcomed her second child with

then-husband Orlando Gordon in 2010 before the two divorced.

Charles has since been linked to rapper Wiz Khalifa and Stevie J, and she has implied

that she hooked up with Drake.

Larissa "Bootz" Hodge

Arguably best known for her feud with New York, Larissa "Bootz" Hodge returned to TV

on VH1's Charm School, alongside many of her fellow Flavor of Love alums, but her reality

show days are over now.

Hodge has since become a proud mother of two and lives in Las Vegas.

She told VH1 of her work status:

"I am collecting my checks, going to school to get a degree in business.

What people don't know is I was in a car accident two and and a half years ago so I have not

been able to continue my position as a reality [personality] because of injuries and legal

reasons."

In 2016, Hodge hinted that she might be able to make a comeback eventually and that she

was preparing by taking acting and voiceover classes just in case the limelight crosses

her path again.

Saaphyri Windsor

Although her stint on Flavor of Love didn't last long, Saaphyri Windsor's quickness to

fight was enough to make her popular with fans and earn her a spot on Charm School,

where she walked away with the winning prize of $50,000.

Windsor went on to launch a lip balm line but found herself in the slammer for identity

theft for a short stint before returning to reality TV for the E! series Botched.

Becky "Buckwild" Johnston

If anyone was going to spill the beans about Flavor Flav having a girlfriend during Flavor

of Love Season 2, it was Becky "Buckwild" Johnston.

Even so, she was able to make some hay of the situation by earning a spot on both Charm

School and I Love Money and has been spending her subsequent time working at Toys R Us and

sharing updates with her fans online.

Schatar "Hottie" Sapphira

Of all the Flavor of Love success stories, Schatar "Hottie" Sapphira's perhaps the busiest.

After Charm School, she married Maxie Collier, a filmmaker and publisher, and together they

founded New Vista Studios, co-authored a red carpet survival book, and produced a musical

film.

Under the pen name Star Sugarman, Sapphira also released the first novel in her Kinky

Perfect trilogy in 2017, so clearly, she's not given up trying to make it to the big

time.

Shay "Buckeey" Johnson

After appearing on Charm School, Shay "Buckeey" Johnson returned to VH1 in 2012 with a stint

on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

She then launched her own line of luxury hair extensions called Shay J Bliss, and eventually

found her way back to VH1 again in 2018 when she joined the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Miami.

She's also undergone something of a body transformation, having lost 35-40 pounds.

She revealed:

"I decided to get my mind right first, get into fitness and health—I transitioned my

life to what it is now."

Of all the Flavor of Love stars, who'd have guessed it'd be Buckeey who could make her

15 minutes of fame last the longest.

Ted Cruz Confronts Democrats, Drops Truth Bomb On Murderous Leftists- BreakingNews24 - Duration: 27:02.

Ted Cruz Confronts Democrats, Drops Truth Bomb On Murderous Leftists

Senator Ted Cruz is a staunch conservative from Texas, who doesn't mince words.

After a recent vote in the Senate, he spoke out against the Democrats.

He condemned their vile stance over one issue and made a startling accusation, confronting

the murderous left on their radical stance.

Ted Cruz confronted Democrats over their radical stance.

(Photo Credit: Gage Skidmore/Flickr, NNWO/Flickr) Most patriots will never understand how Democrats

can support certain issues.

Liberals turn a blind eye to real problems.

They sometimes even allow terrible things to happen from letting drug cartels into the

country to allowing crime to spike in major cities.

Democrats will even defend their terrible stances with empty slogans.

We were reminded of this reality all too recently.

Senate Democrats voted against a vital bill.

In doing so, they voted against science, human decency, and the American family.

Senator Ted Cruz confronted Democrats over their colossal failure.

In rejecting the 20-week abortion ban, he accused Democrats of becoming too radical

to care.

Earlier this week, Senate Democrats cast a tragic vote.

Before them was a piece of reasonable legislation, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

It sought to do one thing: to prevent late-term abortions that result in pain and suffering

for the unborn child…

The radicalization of the Democratic Party on abortion in recent years, …means that

most cannot countenance even the slightest restriction; or the slightest acknowledgement

that "abortion on demand, without apology" has its downsides.

Instead, virtually every Democrat filibustered this commonsense legislation.

[Source: Fox News]

Abortion was once considered an "equal rights" issue.

Advocates decades ago claimed abortion was something a woman had the right to do — because

it was her body.

Most Americans, even ones in support of abortion, regarded it as objectionable, but perhaps

necessary in some cases.

Even though, throughout the decades, polls have proven most Americans hate it.

But today, something has changed among Democrats.

They no longer consider abortion an ugly, but sometimes needed practice.

They actually celebrate it.

Liberals get on stage at conventions and are applauded for murdering unborn children.

They consider it some kind of liberal rite of passage.

Even some liberal celebrities regretted not getting abortions when they were younger.

Imagine that.

Leftists have become so radical over the murdering of children, they refuse to even acknowledge

what we know through medical science.

Medical research and science has shown that children in the womb develop remarkably fast.

By the time the five-month mark passes, the unborn child's fingers, toes, eyelids, eyebrows,

nails, and even eyelashes have all formed.

The child can suck its thumb and yawn.

It has a heartbeat.

And it can very much feel pain…

Senate Democrats remain blind as to any and all harm inflicted by abortion, even when

that harm is directed at the woman.

For example, according to a 2003 report published in the Medical Science Monitor, women whose

first pregnancy ended in abortion were significantly more at risk for clinical depression than

women whose first pregnancies resulted in birth.

Subsequent studies echoed these findings, identifying an increased suicide risk as well

as symptoms that mimic post-traumatic stress.

[Source: Fox News]

Other studies have found that 74% of women were pressured into having abortions.

That debunks the notion they had a "right to choose."

Instead, outside forces caused them to abort their children.

Ted Cruz put the focus on the harm Democrats have caused to American families.

Their mad obsession over abortion has decimated millions of American families.

How many families would be whole had a radicalized Democratic Party approached abortion with

a bit more skepticism rather than reducing all moral questions to a collection of misguided

slogans?

[Source: Fox News]

The science is clear.

Abortion is a barbaric and outdated practice.

It brutally ends the life of an unborn person.

Democrats can throw around as many empty talking points as they like, it won't change that

reality.

As more evidence mounts, proving how evil abortion is, they will only become more extreme

over the cause.

Much like in everything else, they will ignore reality to push their toxic agenda.

The only question is, are we going to let them get away

with it?
