Greetings to everyone from the AXE forum and YouTube channel!

My name is Dule, otherwise known as aNiman on the forums.

But that's something that you're already familiar with.

What you probably don't know is what is AXE-R.

Okay, we've filmed the "Introduction" episode, though I would go by "teaser",

where I wanted to explain the state of our country

and what was I trying to make, but I haven't told you much, haven't I?

So let's not waste any time, I'll reveal what the AXE-R project is all about.

All in all, it's going to be outrageous, and I mean that in the positive way.

First off, what is the AXE-R project?

The AXE-R project is basically the whole

"corner", to be precise, a setup

whatever you want to call it. I like referring to it

in my own language as "corner", a nook, maybe it's better if we put it that way.

But the point is that there'll be an entire setup made.

So, the AXE-R itself ain't just the chassis,

it's basically the return of that high-end PC

that I have always wanted to keep going with.

Simply put, I stopped, I betrayed you.

But, I haven't forgotten about it.

I've been listening to what all of you have been writing,

that is, been noticing what you all have been writing.

Because of that, I decided that we needed to bring back this series so we can remind you what is PCAXE.

For those of you who don't know, once again...

Power Computing Advanced eXtreme Enthusiasm.

Project AXE-R will cover all of these points,

and I have already explained what AXE-R itself is.

So, unofficially, and, as of now, officially -

the return of the high-end PC.

Point number two.

Finally, a time has come for me to upgrade my own computer,

but not going by the system of installing some new components.

Instead, I'm going to change the entire platform.

For those of you that don't know me all too well, regarding my philosophy about the PCs,

I am always trying to buy a fantastic computer, and not worry for five years.

That went well for the previous platform, and it's still great,

but now it's time for it to be changed.

Also, there's a plan sometime this year to start publishing 4K video reviews.

Whether that will occur or not, I don't know,

but I'm in need of another computer in the studio for rendering

with the slightly higher performance.

Right now, we already have an X79 computer with 32 GB RAM, and GTX 1060 graphics card.

And that's serving us pretty well.

However, the new AXE-R computer

will truly be something special and high-end by all worldwide standards.

Point number three.

Okay, what I want you to understand at the very start

is, when somebody is making a computer such as this one, or anything else you can think of,

or when modding, what you end up seeing finished on Instagram,

Facebook, the forums, the website, YouTube at the very end,

is just the glamorous side.

You see that it's all going all too swell, that it was all wacky,

But what you don't see, or many of you don't get

is the effort that has been put into something like this.

Also, something that you don't see or feel is the drama.

And I'm not referring to the YouTube drama, when some YouTubers are calling out each other online,

it's awful, burned myself once, and I told myself - never again!

I don't care, I just want quality on this channel.

And I want to showcase you the "actual" drama. What is the true drama?

It's where you see how much hard was it to make something.

I'm going to document it all through the video format, through some Instagram posts,

Facebook posts, forum posts, website posts, wherever.

Simply put, I want you to see how hard it is to do something like this.

With that in mind,

I've smartened up in three years, and this time,

we're not going to fail with this thing, for sure.

I swear on my children.

Why have I sworn on my children?

In the meantime, during those three years, I became a dad for the second time.

My daughter - Viktorija.

I'll become a dad for the third time, my wife is currently pregnant.

So, that Dule from three years ago can never be the same as

this Dule from the present.

Simply put, I need to play it a whole lot smarter.

And for the AXE-R to work,

since it's one of the biggest projects,

I have decided to engage another person in this story.

And that's where we reach point four.

Point four is simply called neSSa.

For those of you unfamiliar, neSSa is the most serious modder in these areas,

or the Western Balkans, and an excellent modder in the worldwide circles.

However, by the time I'm recording this video material, even though my Nesha,

I said my Nesha, okay, in fact I've said it well.

Even though Nesha is my very good friend, I still haven't asked him.

I still haven't asked him whether or not can he help me out with this project.

All in all, so I wouldn't bore you,

We'll ask Nesha.

We'll ask him together, I'll bring the camera, hide it, head over to him.

I mean, we are household friends, but the point of the story is that

Nesha might not oblige to the request.

Now, here's the thing. About a year or so, when I went to Nesha and told him that

it would be cool to make something like that,

Nesha showed me a paper.

And on it, a hexagonal chassis was drawn,

and he was thinking about the same subject.

Because of that, I decided for the two us to

join forces and create something epic.

Why is that important?

I mean, if I had thought of something like that, and he already had that thing scribbled,

that just means that we're on the same wavelength,

and I think that this is an unique opportunity for all of us.

Point number five.

The thing that's interesting regarding this whole story is that I will, through video materials,

sort everything out chronologically.

The thing that's interesting around these video mat-bleh.

Point number five.

What's important is...augh.

I'm trying to get over it quickly, so we can end it sooner, and I get stuck.

What's up with me, it's like I'm recording for 1st time.

This explains a lot, how much this really means to me.

Point number five.

The one thing that you need to understand at the start is that I will

sort out the video materials chronologically.

Or, how did it all occur at once

However, on Instagram, Facebook,

the forums, and in the description, there is a forum thread, as well as Instagram and Facebook,

so follow us there.

Simply put, you will receive feedback a bit differently from there,

since you will probably find out what happened much quicker on Facebook, Instagram,

and the forums, rather than with me filming the video material.

However, you will get some, can I say, narrow information.

"This thing came in." "This one granted it." "This one denied it."

With that in mind, get right in the action,

And let's not waste any time, let's get over to point six.

Okay, until we make it to this part, we will probably

have three or four episodes,

that will be presented with the "back-to-basics" approach, that even my grandma can watch it.

What does it mean?

That means that someone who doesn't at all understand the hardware and software,

or anything else related can easily catch up on the things that are happening.

And when the entire AXE-R project is completed,

these folks will understand, no matter who that might be, what age they're in,

the story like it's a documentary of sorts.

I'm going to make sure it all looks like that.

However, what's important for point six that should be explained

is that we will be using high-end components.

With that in mind, we've already contacted ADATA.

And they were such professionals,

I wrote such a detailed email,

and in one of the episodes I'll explain to you

how to write an email to a company.

Simply put, email is basically your face. It's who you are.

If you sound bad in your email,

nobody is going to take you seriously.

PCAXE has the credibility,

so that means this isn't the first time that we're working with ADATA.

PCAXE has been active for a long time.

Those are, of course, some preconditions that work in your favor.

However, that doesn't mean that, when you send a mail,

and you ask for 8x8 GB SPECTRIX D40 memory,

that you will also get it.

Exactly, 64GB DDR4 memory

RGB type, an insane memory will be

featured in this project.

As far as this RAM memory goes, there isn't all that much to dwell on.

Simply put, this RAM memory, if you ask me,

and if you ask anyone who understands hardware,

and who loves the good hardware, is the work of an art.

16.7 million colors, the ability to change

all the lights effects you choose via software of your motherboard.

To adjust them with ease, and with that

we slowly unravel the AXE-R story,

so AXE-R shall be RGB.

And you all know how much I love RGB.

ADATA did not only provide the

64 GB SPECTRIX DDR4 memory,

lovely memory, again, I just love this memory so much, I can't wait, can't wait.

But they also provided SX8000 NVME 1.2 SSD

that we've already discussed about.

In the description, you have a link to the detailed video review.

Simply, it's the superbly quick SSD.

So, when we're talking about the memory,

we've covered it all, of course, there will be some HDDs and whatnot,

but let's not let the cat out of the bag just yet.

The thing is that I wanted to, throughout all of these six points that I have brought up,

explain the "hexagonal" story of PCAXE.

Get it, six points, and then there's six sides,

and it's cool because of that, get it?

A-axe in middle...

Haters.

Ok, that's PCAXE.

So, why so...seriously?

Nah, that's just Joker from the Batman, but

the point is that you shouldn't take life too seriously.

You should simply keep trying, working, getting yourselves out there,

and everything else will come on its own, and that's the focal point of the AXE-R project.

That's the AXE in the middle.

You have to be sharp when it's needed.

The axe also has a blunt side, and that means,

when you strike, it has to make a blow.

That's the AXE. And you're too.

I want to, throughout this entire series,

simply explain how did it all go,

to showcase you the whole drama,

to give you an insight of the struggle, so to speak, the obstacles.

But at the end of the day, we're gonna make something epic.

And what I can say right away is that, when we're all done with the computer,

we're making a huge giveaway

so that is kind of weird but I do like to jumping part we got a snake basically

you got to stay out of the way of the guys that are charging toward you

together is what coins is possible okay I mean I guess it's not right it's

a little short but I like to jump in part

to pay my yearly premiums for my insurance, so that I could save in my monthly budget?

But you guys, all you have to do, go to irs.gov, click on FREE FILE, and when you see the little button under the place where it says,

"if you make $66,000 a year or less, click here", you click there.

You answer a few questions about your family situation, and then you will get a list of all the companies that are going to do your federal taxes for free.

Some of them you have to pay for the state option but it's not a whole lot of money.

I personally chose the TurboTax option since I have been using TurboTax for a while

I used the free TurboTax option and I was able to actually file my state return for free as well.

Getting Texture with Solid Stamp Images - Duration: 3:11.

Hey everybody!

In today's video, I'm going to show you some fun ways to get a textured look on solid stamps.

I'm working with the February My Monthly Hero card kit, and I love this - it's so much fun.

And I have three fun ways for you to get texture on a solid stamp.

Now I'm using my Therm-O-Web mini dot runner just to temporarily adhere my card to the

paper in my MISTI.

And I'm using Jennifer McGuire's swipe stamping technique for the first card.

You just swipe your inkpad down the stamps, it sort of creates motion in a solid image

and it's just a fun, different way to use a silhouette stamp.

So I'll pull that off of there, and you can see the lines that the swiping motion created

on the birds.

So much fun - I could seriously do this all day.

So I will remove this, and there's still a little bit of adhesive left on my paper, so

I'll line this cardstock up again.

The reason I'm adhering it, is because I wanted the birds to go off the edge of the card,

and this way I don't have to have my paper in the corner.

So once again I'll use the Indigo Bold Ink from Hero Arts, and I'll ink these birds up

really well, not using the swipe technique, just solid inking.

And then the Sunburst background stamp that I showed you just a second ago - that's one

of the add-ons this month - I love it.

I'm just going to take the dry stamp, and do the "kissing" technique, just lift a little

bit of ink from the birds and transfer that dot pattern, and you can see I still have

bird shapes on my stamp and we'll use those in a second.

So I'll press these down, really well, and then you'll see this gorgeous round sunburst

pattern on these birds - they are so amazing.

Love that.

But - we don't want to waste the birds that are on the background stamp, that ink is still

wet, and so I can use this as basically a monoprinting plate, with a piece of white

cardstock, and I'm just going to put that down on the stamp and then rub that around.

I get a little bit of ink on the back in the process, but that's okay - nobody's going

to see the back.

I just want to make sure that I've pressed every area with a little bird on it to transfer

it to my card.

So this one I will add outlines and googlie eyes for these quirky little dotty birds.

This one I just added a "what's the word" sentiment to - the "bird" is implied. and

the first one is the swipe stamping.

Ghost Stamped Birds with Hero Arts February My Monthly Hero - Duration: 3:17.

Hey everybody! In today's video, which is very quick, I'm

just going to show you some ghost stamped birds.

These are from the February My Monthly Hero kit, and they are so fun. They have

solid silhouette images and there are 10 birds, and I have them all set up on my

MISTI, and they also have a little grunge element around the outside of each bird!

But I haven't done ghost stamping in a while and since these were such great

solid images I thought this would be a fun way to treat these little birdies.

So I use the Therm O Web mini dot runner to temporarily tack a piece of Crumb

Cake cardstock down onto the grid paper in my MISTI and you can see I have

it down from the top about a sixteenth of an inch and that's because I want the

white ink to show up sort of as a highlight on the tops of the birds so

when I move it up and overstamp it, the darker part will be down just a little

bit, like you would normally have highlights and lowlights. Now I am

drying this with my heat gun - it does need to be completely dry before you put

dye ink over it and be careful not to heat your magnets if you're heating over

your MISTI. Rare earth magnets are already brittle but they can become even

more brittle with heat.

So I'm cleaning my birds off with my Absorber. If you're using pigment ink

with your Absorber you will need to clean it a little bit more often - because that

can transfer. The Absorber sort of absorbs dye ink and doesn't transfer it

from one to another unless it's really dirty, but that pigment ink you do need

to go ahead and get that off of there, so go rinse that out. Now my birds are clean

and now I will put the cardstock up against the top ruler of the MISTI and

you can see I've customized my MISTI with the turquoise tapes that she offers.

I love those, and you can see I had the magnet a little bit too close to that

bottom bird and so he's missing his tail, but it doesn't matter because when I

overstamp it with the dye ink you're not going to notice that anyway.

I'm going to load it up with magnets here, I'm using the Hero Arts bold ink

in Indigo which is my favorite blue. I love it - I used it on another video

recently and you can see what it looks like just on plain white cardstock it's

a very crisp ink in a really pretty ultramarine blue. You can see I'm

opening that lid really slowly and that's just to make sure that my cardstock

is in place since I'm not using the corner of the MISTI, and you can see

the little texture that you get when you put a dye ink on top of the pigment ink -

almost like that dendritic printing video that I showed you, and I think that

adds a lot. Thanks so much for watching!

No-Line Watercolor birds From Hero Arts My Monthly Hero + Giveaway - Duration: 11:07.

Hey everybody! I am back with another no-line watercolor today. I am using the

new February My Monthly Hero kit which is all about birds, as well as all the

add-ons. I have just a bunch of my watercolor mixing dishes here that have

leftover paint in them and that's what I'm using - just a random collection of

paint today in an effort not to waste any of my watercolor.

I had the birds set up on the MISTI - already I actually have two other videos

for you today, and I use this setup of the birds the

exact same way in all three videos. For these, I stamped them in Antique

Linen Distress Ink - that's kind of a good neutral,

and I didn't worry about whether or not the ink was perfect,

you know distress ink isn't really a stamping ink and so it's not perfectly

smooth, but it doesn't matter because it's all going to be colored.

For each bird I started with sort of an idea of the color, but again I'm

limiting my palette to what's in the dishes on my desk and so it's pretty

random, but I started each bird by adding mostly water to the bird, just a little

bit of color so that I could drop in color like I'm doing here and have it

bleed and feather out and just mix more smoothly with the base color of the bird.

So in this case I'm sort of going for a little ruby-throated hummingbird,

but again I'm not doing realistic birds here, I'm doing birds out of the dishes

on my desk, but he was clearly a hummingbird, and so I went with sort of a

classical color scheme. By adding a lot of water first and then dropping in

other colors, you get this smooth, soft combination of colors directly on the

paper, and I like to work went into wet. I haven't mastered it yet, I will say that -

and sometimes I started here on the birds and the paper was a little bit too

dry and so I got some dark spots, but that's just part of you learning how to

watercolor, and me learning how to watercolor.

In my opinion, people are intimidated by watercolor but to me it's

one of the most forgiving mediums. I'm not good with opaque paint mediums - the

transparent ones I feel like just give me a lot more freedom. Now each one of

these birds does have a little open eye - meaning - that part is not the part that

picks up ink, and so I'm trying to be careful to paint around those. I will

come back at the end with a very finely detailed pen and I'll add those eye

details but what I find with no-line watercolor is that you can make some

really freaky animals and birds if you're not careful to make sure the eye

is the right size, the eye is in the right place so I am honoring the

original placement of the eye by being careful to paint around those.

Now this little bird is using a little bit of Prussian blue and then some

gamboge. I have a combination of Daniel Smith watercolor and Brusho in these

dishes, just from the last few blog posts,

mixing those two mediums, which is completely fine - they're both watercolor.

I'm just sort of alternating the color schemes, just kind of trying to

keep each little bird so that he's contrasting with a bird nearby him.

Here you can see the last bird I did, I'm kind of doing the opposite on this bird,

since they're imaginary birds it doesn't matter. Up at the top left of your screen

I have the Old Holland watercolors that you will see in an upcoming video these

are beautiful watercolors and sort of new to me. I

read about them in an art forum that I'm in, and I really love them - they are very

nice. I wonder if there will ever come a day when I'm out of new watercolors to try?

My bank account would probably like that, but until then I'm just going to keep

trying watercolor because I love it all, and it's all different.

This little bird - I gave him a little red cheek, I thought that was cute and I'll

come back and do the feet later those are very tiny little feet. I'm using my

Escoda Versatil travel brushes. I absolutely love these brushes - they hold

a point so well, so I can do these small details on these birds and not have my

brush be flopping around and getting in the way of a good sharp edge on a beak

or on their feet.

With this red bird I am going to add some shadows with this deep blue,

because he's kind of a larger bird and he needed a little bit more detail than

just to be red, so I wanted to make that back wing look like it was really in the

back.

And it doesn't matter what color their feet and their beaks are it's not like

you have to make them like cartoons and all the beaks are orange and all the

feet are orange, I'm just sort of making them neutral and somewhat matchy-matchy

to the bird. Now after a bird has dried, you can also

come back with just a little bit of pigment and add shading like I did on

that bird and then feather the edge out with just clear water.

On this bird I'll start with only water just to show you the difference of how

smoothly that watercolor will blend into the water that's on top of the ink.

That makes for a nice fun little plummy bird. I custom mixed that plum

and I'm custom mixing kind of a more yellow-green to make an olive companion

to the plum - just sticking with complimentary colors pretty much.

And I'll give this little guy a shadow. I'm a fiddler when it comes to

watercolor. I like to go back and adjust and adjust and adjust after an image is

somewhat dry. Now this one looks like -

the top of his wings make him almost look like he's an owl but then he looks

like a regular bird on the bottom, but I love this dramatic wing it's really nice.

I'm going to make him blue. If he is an owl he's going to be a blue owl

with sort of robin coloring. But see how nicely those all just blend

and give you your own texture that you can leave - you don't have to force it.

Then I'll have a little Delft blue bird down here at the bottom we used to have

the most beautiful blue birds in upstate New York where I went to college - in

Rochester. It was so dramatic in the spring when

they would come down - we don't have the same kind of birds down here. Those

indigo buntings were one that I remember just loving I was always so startled to

see them - they're such a bright color and then there is a bluebird up there that

we don't have that's also a really vivid blue.

While I'm not a birder, I do run into birders on my walks and those are very

serious people about birds. I love seeing them in nature and I love them

even more when they're on a stamp! I like how they change throughout the

year. Since we're in such a warm climate we get your birds from everywhere else

they come down here for a little winter vacation and so I get to see those

passing through as I do my walks throughout the year. I just love how

it changes with every season, and I also love the sounds. There are nice little bird

sounds outside my window right now as a matter of fact I don't know if you can

hear them. Now this last little bird he has a tuft

on top of his head sort of like some of my little finches in my backyard.

I'm mixing it more of kind of a plummy color here.

He's just so cute - they look so sassy with that little crest on top of their

heads. They look like they're the birds in the group with kind of an attitude -

I'm not gonna lie. Now I'm putting mostly water down on him, he has a very skinny

little tail almost like a roadrunner tail and so I have to be really careful

to keep the brush kind of light off the paper to make sure that I can keep that

point going. I'll make

him sort of the opposite bird from the other bird there. That plum that I get

with those two colors is so nice, it's such a natural looking

color, I really like it. So he'll be the opposite of the little bird next to him

of green on top and that plum on bottom and I'm adding a lot of the Gamboge to

the green just to lighten it up tiny bit.

These shapes are pretty easy to do no-line watercolor with, they're nice solid

images,

they do a great job with no-line watercolor.

So I need to add feet - you don't want to forget their feet!

And like I said I will come back and add details to this with a pen as you can

see here. Makes all the difference in the world.
