Liverpool warned it will cost over £50m to sign the 'Lionel Messi of goalkeepers' ● News Now ● #LFC - Duration: 2:11.

JURGEN KLOPP is expected to buy a new goalkeeper for Liverpool this summer.

Current stoppers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have failed to convince the German

boss that they are worthy of being his No 1.

Having spent £75m recruiting Virgil van Dijk from Southampton, the next logical move for

Klopp is to bring in a world-class goalkeeper.

One such player linked with a move to the Reds is Roma sensation Alisson.

The Brazilian has kept 10 clean sheets in 23 Serie A games this season.

Alisson, 25, would reportedly cost Liverpool a significant chunk of the £142m they made

by selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

Ex-Roma goalkeeping coach Negrisolo told Il Romanista on the South American star: "Is

Alisson worth £50m?

Don't be silly, he's worth far more than that.

"I don't think many people have realised who Alisson is.

This guy is a phenomenon.

He is the number one of number ones.

"He is the Messi of goalkeepers, because he has the same mentality as Messi.

He is a goalkeeper who can mark an era.

"There is absolutely no comparison with Gianluigi Donnarumma, because Alisson is extraordinary.

"The first time I saw him play, he wasn't yet on the Roma books.

I watched him play for Brazil and he made an enormous impression on me.

"The way he behaves in the goal, he reminds me of Dino Zoff.

"I told Alisson when I met him at Roma's Trigoria ground that he was born for this."

Liverpool face Southampton at St Mary's on Sunday

Market Up: Heil Trump! Market Down: Thanks Obama! - Duration: 5:08.

DONALD TRUMP TRIED TO TAKE CREDIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR

THE STOCK MARKET INCREASES, BREAKING RECORDS HE SAID, AND HE

SAID IT'S UP BY 1000 POINTS IN ONE YEAR, IT'S THE FASTEST RISE

EVER, THE ECONOMY IS BOOMING BECAUSE OF ME.

SEAN HANNITY AND

HIS BUDDIES ON FOX NEWS BACKED IT UP AND BRAGGED ABOUT IT TO NO

END, AND THEN THE STOCK MARKET CRASHED.

AS IT ALMOST ALWAYS

DOES UNDER REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS, BECAUSE THEY OVER

INFLATE WHAT THE TOP 1% GETS AND IT CREATES A BUBBLE.

THEY LOST

1175 POINTS IN THE DOW ON MONDAY ALONE, TODAY IT HAS BOUNCED UP A

LITTLE BIT, ABOUT 579 POINTS BY THE TIME IT CLOSED, SO GETTING

ALMOST FRIDAY'S LOSSES BACK, WHICH WAS 660 POINTS, BUT STILL

OVER A 1000 POINT LOSS ON MONDAY UNACCOUNTED FOR, OVERALL ABOUT A

1200 POINT DROP, WHICH IS MORE THAN WHAT TRUMP HAD BRAGGED

ABOUT IN ITS INCREASE OVER A YEAR.

SO, HOW IS SEAN HANNITY

GOING TO HANDLE THIS UNCOMFORTABLE, UNFORTUNATE NEWS?

HE'S GOT A GREAT IDEA, IT TURNS OUT IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT.

YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHO, LET'S WATCH.

BECAUSE THE OBAMA ECONOMY WAS SO WEAK ALL OF THESE YEARS WE

HAD ARTIFICIALLY CHEAP MONEY.

NOW, WHAT'S CHEAP MONEY?

CHEAP

MONEY IS WHEN YOU CAN BORROW AT RIDICULOUSLY LOW RATES.

THE ERA

OF CHEAP MONEY AT SOME POINT HAS TO COME TO AN END, AND THE FED

HAS ARTIFICIALLY KEPT THE PRICE OF MONEY DOWN, AND THE PRICE OF

BORROWING DOWN, AND NOW THAT'S GOING TO COME TO AN END AND IN

MANY WAYS IT REPRESENTS -- IT'S A SIGN OF THE STRENGTH OF THE

ECONOMY MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

I'LL GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE OF

THIS.

IT LOOKS LIKE WALL STREET HIT THEIR BUMP TODAY, BUT WE

COULD BE ON THE VERGE OF A LONG EXPECTED CORRECTION, 10% IS

NORMAL, SO I THINK THE UNDERPINNINGS OF THE ECONOMY ARE

SO STRONG NOW THAT THE ADJUSTMENT IS COMING, AND I

THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE UNDERSTAND, CHEAP MONEY IS

NO LONGER GOING TO BE AVAILABLE.

I LIKE TO DECIPHER THESE THINGS FOR YOU SO I'LL

TRANSLATE.

THAT EQUATES TO -- [CRAZY NOISES].

SO LET'S GET

THIS RIGHT, THE STOCK MARKET CRASHES UNDER PRESIDENT BUSH, IT

DOES NOTHING BUT RISE UNDER OBAMA, SOMEHOW THAT IS WEAK

NUMBERS, WHEN THE STOCK MARKET RISES UNDER OBAMA THAT SHOWS A

WEAK ECONOMY?

IN HIS FIRST YEAR IN OFFICE THE STOCK MARKET

CONTINUES TO RISE UNDER TRUMP, THAT'S GOOD ACCORDING TO

HANNITY, THEN IT CRASHES, AND IT CRASHES BECAUSE OF OBAMA?

WHY?

I

DON'T KNOW.

WELL, THEY HAD ARTIFICIALLY CHEAP MONEY.

OKAY,

THAT'S FAIR ENOUGH, AND I THINK OBAMA AND GEITHNER AND SUMMERS

AND ALL THOSE GUYS WERE PRINTING WAY TOO MUCH MONEY AT THE FED,

BUT SO DID TRUMP.

HE DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING AT THE FED, THEY

CONTINUE THOSE POLICIES AND THEY PUMPED THAT MARKET UP UNTIL IT

WAS A BUBBLE.

I'M NOT PARTISAN IN THAT SENSE, I BLAMED OBAMA

FOR A NUMBER OF THINGS HE DID THAT I THOUGHT WERE NOT THE

RIGHT ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES, INCLUDING BAILING OUT THE BANKS,

WHICH THE REPUBLICANS AGREED TO, I THINK THE FED, BY DOING

QUANTITATIVE EASING OVER AND OVER, KEEPING INTEREST RATES TOO

LOW, WAS PROBLEMATIC, I THOUGHT IT WOULD CREATE A BUBBLE.

BUT

YOU CAN'T SAY THAT TRUMP DIDN'T DO THE SAME THINGS.

HE DID THEM

AND THEN ADDED A GIANT TAX CUT FOR THE RICH AND FOR

CORPORATIONS, WHICH THEY USED TO DO STOCK BUYBACKS WHICH

OVERINFLATED THE MARKET EVEN MORE.

HOW IS THAT CRASH THEN

ONLY OBAMA'S BUT NOT TRUMP'S FAULT?

BUT IF THAT TWIST IN

LOGIC ISN'T CRAZY ENOUGH, HE THEN ADDS THAT THE CRASH IS

ACTUALLY A SIGN OF HOW WELL THE ECONOMY IS DOING NOW.

WHAT IN

THE WORLD?

OKAY, I CAN'T EVEN FIGURE OUT HOW YOU JUMP FROM

THAT POINT A TO POINT B ON THAT ONE.

SO SOMEHOW THE MARKET

RISING UNDER TRUMP IS GREAT, RISING UNDER OBAMA IS BAD,

CRASHING UNDER TRUMP IS OBAMA'S FAULT, BUT IS ACTUALLY A

GOOD THING FOR TRUMP.

WHAT?

I FEEL LIKE ALL FOX NEWS SEGMENTS

SHOULD BE FOLLOWED BY SOMEONE GOING, WHAT?

I HAVE A GOOD

CANDIDATE FOR THAT MIGHT BE.

I'VE GOT TO TAKE ANOTHER BREAK.

WHEN WE COME BACK, I TOLD

YOU THE PROSPECTIVE PREACHER IS SPREADING DISEASE, I WILL SHOW

YOU THAT -- WE'VE GOT SO MUCH MORE NEWS.

COME RIGHT BACK, YOU

WILL LOVE THE SHOW.

GO, GO, GO.

BACK ON THE YOUNG TURKS, WOKE POPPY SAYS I TRIED TO BUY A

TICKET FOR THE TYT PARTY BUT IT WAS SOLD OUT, HELP.

SORRY, THERE

IS NO HELP COMING.

I WASN'T OVERHYPING IT, I SAID THEY WOULD

SELL OUT AND IT DID.

ON THE OTHER HAND, YOU CAN WATCH IF YOU

ARE A MEMBER.

NO MORE TICKETS FOR LIVE APPEARANCES -- EXCEPT

IF YOU ARE A MEMBER, EITHER NOW -- IF YOU BOUGHT A TICKET AND

YOU ALL ARE ALREADY A MEMBER OR BECOME A MEMBER, BY MONDAY WE

WILL DO A LOTTERY FOR UPGRADES AND YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO BRING A

FRIEND.

EITHER WAY, TYTNETWORK.COM/JOIN TO BECOME A

MEMBER TO WATCH ANYWHERE.

VOLTRAMAX SAYS IF OBAMA'S

ECONOMY HADN'T BEEN SO DAMN STABLE FOR ALL THOSE YEARS WE

WOULDN'T HAVE PANICKED THIS WEEK AND JUMPED INTO THE WORLD'S JUST

A GAME OF CHICKEN.

HENCE IT'S OBVIOUSLY OBAMA'S FAULT.

I CAN'T

READ THE REST OF THE TWEETS BUT I FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE LAST

SEGMENT, AND THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME, IF YOU FOLLOW

HANNITY'S LINE OF LOGIC IT'S OBAMA'S FAULT THAT THE MARKET

CRASHED, BUT AFTER THE CRASH WE WILL BE STRONGER, THEN SHOULDN'T

HE BE THANKING OBAMA?

BECAUSE IT WAS OBAMA WHO MADE IT CRASH,

WHICH MAKES IT STRONGER.

THEY ARE SUCH CLOWNS AT FOX NEWS.

it's not like I want to nap... I just wanna avoid doing work... you know?

zoom out

zoom OUT

tell me when you're zoomed out

you may say I'm taking a procrastinap

I was up kind of late last night,

was good at this time I just undid a bunch of work I did yesterday I worked

attempting to do more illustrator, but it was good this time, I just undid a bunch of work I did yesterday

and I ended up starting over today because of idea changes

but I have everything set to go to print things out tonight

but I'm getting up for a church

*youtube video playing in the back*

this printing only is open from 2:00 to 5:00, with a monitor on Sunday so I'm

rushing over to get this done, and afterwards we're gonna go grocery

shopping and it's gonna be really fun. for the rest of the day I'm just kind of

stressed out because I've never used this printer before, but we'll see how it

turns out. so I just did my drinking and it took a while and there are so many

so I just did my printing,

and it took a while, and there were so many

people waiting for me because my design has four colors and overlapping them

correctly took a long time, and even so I ended up just telling her it's okay that

it's a little bit crooked. I just let anyone else who needs to go, print.

sizzling copper.

-sizzling.

-you did it

oh that's nice

I just wanted to chitchat and get ready with you this morning, because I haven't

been updating for the last week it seems like... but it's just been a very mellow

you know going to class, getting assignments done, and going to the gym

occasionally, so it's been really great that I can get all my routines back on

track. so I wanted to show you the past assignment that I just worked on last

week, and we only have one more assignment until this class ends... so I'm

working on that currently, and I'll talk more about that process later. for this

assignment, it is a mini book. it's all printed on one sheet, and you can cut

this slit in the middle. so essentially these little books are all folded down

from 11 by 17 sheets, and in addition to that, the graphics that we came up with

had to be inspired by an artist so mine was Karel Martens, he is a Dutch

freelance graphic designer. it doesn't really quite matter where the

book starts, and there isn't a particular order because it's just an ongoing cycle

but, I personally thought that it would start here. and it's just says falling

apart, with these circular motifs. this spread, is based on the five stages of

grief, as you see the overlapping letters because I believe that we all experience

this from one time or another, or we are in one state or another stage for

different things. it progresses to this spread that says, "and in time you will

see, things are part of a much bigger whole"

I apply this to the thinking of, you know, "why do you bad things happen" or "why does

this have to happen?"- kind of focusing on more negative thoughts... for me, this

phrase is steps to to moving towards acceptance... to realizing that, these

things happen but it's a part of a much bigger and better whole that you can

make for yourself, like a happy life even though bad things happen in it.

and then that leads to this page, and it's very very busy, and you can see that

there are little words in there that says "looking back without bitterness" where

you can look back, and accept the paths that were taken, but not have the same

kind of pain or bitterness. and once you travel back to this spread, you can come

to see that over here, it says "falling apart, or together?" so... I think for this

whole project I was just coming up with the idea of that we experienced things

we experienced bad things and we can choose to see it like that, or we can

just choose to see it as circumstances that... change, that occur, and one thing

falls apart but... does it lead you to something else

where good things fall together... and, you know, inevitably we have to travel

through these cycles over and over again until we can gain acceptance without

bitterness, and realize, are things following apart or are they falling

together? that's kind of just my take for this little book, and, I really enjoyed

making this because like- you know I suck at digital art but I've gotten so much

better in this one week, and I'm working digitally for the next project as well

and I will show you the process for that later, when I get to working on it

*singing mulan*

-I'm your reflection

*singing frozen*

"I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face"

-oh I think I will

theres- you ate the foil!

-if I can remember the timing

*sings too early*

*lol*

*impersonating gaston*

Wow. printing took so long... it took... almost three hours, and I was supposed to eat

lunch but I thought "okay you know, I'll just print and I can go eat lunch

afterwards", but it's dinner time so... dinner time~! it's fine because I have a

ramen, and some barbecue meat waiting for me when I get home, so I'm so excited!

it's dark outside

oh no, I forgot my glove

I forgot my gloves!

*tyler hitting them high notes*

*frank sinatra song*

let's go let's go

to the left

omg

-so good.

so I just got back from Boston, and I didn't really get a chance to explain, but Tyler

was so sweet, and surprised me with tickets to a murder-mystery cafe, and

it was my first one. I first heard of it because I was watching Bob's Burgers, and

it's basically normally a setting where you dine or you're in a restaurant or

cafe, and they do a live-action kind of play or a skit where somebody is

murdered, and you have to interact with the cast, to kind of solve the mystery

and Tyler said this is different from the couple of ones that he's experienced

because this one is comedy themed, and it was really funny, and I'm going to link

it below, for anyone interested in the New England and Boston area because

that's where they're located. and I had a lot of fun- you can't vlog or even

photograph the set, and I wanted to respect that so I didn't get any photos

but I really loved it- for one my outfit was coordinated for the theme. it's kind

of like this barbershop 50's-60's, very colorful, groovy, place. they had checkered

floors, yellow wallpaper- a lot, like very busy

wallpaper. and yellows leather barber seats. so you can imagine... I just- it was

eye candy for me. well I'm gonna wrap up this night and I'll see you, I'm probably

going to start editing the vlog this weekend but, I will finish that once I

wrap up the project

goodnight!

Why doves aren't in Olympic ceremonies anymore - NerdFAQs 05 - Duration: 2:56.

Releasing doves used to be a regular occurrence for Olympic opening ceremonies.

After all, the Games are meant to be an example of how countries

can put aside their differences and come together peaceably in the name of sport.

But this is no longer a hallmark of the Olympics,

and it is not necessarily because peace is dead.

It is because during the Summer Games in Seoul,

this tradition turned into an accidental barbecue, broadcast around the world.

The year was 1988.

South Korea was changing fast.

It was experiencing an economic miracle.

After spending decades after the Korean War in poverty,

it was quickly becoming one of the richest countries in the world.

It was also transitioning to a democratic government,

after years of military rule.

And a few years before the Games, Seoul completed the 63 Building,

which was the tallest tower outside of North America.

In 1988, it prepared to host the Summer Olympics –

the first for an Asian country outside of Japan.

Obviously, things were looking good.

Doves had been a part of most Olympic opening ceremonies since 1920,

after the end of the First World War.

It was a reminder for everyone that the Olympics

were a time to come together, as peaceful competitors.

Seoul wanted to continue the tradition of releasing doves.

However, they did something that other host cities did not do –

they released the doves early.

This was a problem.

Doves are birds.

Birds like to perch on things.

Mostly on things that look like pillars.

Things like… the Olympic cauldron.

As you can guess, they were resting comfortably on the cauldron at Seoul's Olympic Stadium

when torchbearers Chung Sun-man, Kim Won-tak, and Sohn Kee-chung

accidentally started the barbecue broadcast around the world.

After this incident, any releases of live doves

have been rare for Olympic opening ceremonies.

Often, makeshift or non-live substitutes were used.

Because while doves symbolize world peace,

doves on fire only symbolize a barbecue gone wrong.

Peace is a hot topic for Korea, with a minefield between North and South.

But how many ways can you cross between the two without being blown up?

Potential Dividers & Potentiometers - Duration: 5:58.

A potential divider is a simple but very useful circuit, which allows you to obtain a lower

voltage from a higher voltage source, by using just two or more resistors.

In this video, we explore the potential divider, and see just how easy it is to build a potential

divider circuit.

Let's start with just two resistors.

Connect two resistors of the same resistance in series, and connect them to a power source.

For me, I'm using a 5V power source.

Taking a voltmeter reading across the entire circuit gives me 5V, but taking a reading

at the midpoint between the two resistors gives me half the voltage - Or approximately

2.5V.

How do we arrive at that value?

Turns out, it is the ratio of resistances that create this effect.

I am currently using 220Ω resistors.

However, if we were to replace both resistors with 1kΩ resistors, the reading in the middle

is still exactly the same.

Again, this because the voltage generated is a ratio of the two resistances.

So now, let's change up the ratio.

Using a 220Ω resistor alongside a 1kΩ one, we create a reading of about 4.1V. How does

that work?

Turns out, the magic is still in the ratio, which can be calculated like this.

The numerator of the ratio comes from the resistance under the point tapped, while the

denominator is the total resistance between the positive and negative points.

This ratio gives you a number less than one.

Multiplying that by the total voltage across the circuit, we get the resultant voltage.

Applying this formula to the circuit we've just created, we can see how easy it is to

derive the final voltage.

By calculating the ratio and substituting our input voltage into the equation, we can

very easily get at the answer of 4.1V.

With this same logic, we can easily set up a potential divider using more resistors.

For example, here's one using four resistors.

By summing the resistances of the resistors below the point of contact, and across the

entire circuit, we can compute the ratio, and use that to find the resultant voltage.

A potentiometer is a simple component that allows you to easily build an adjustable potential

divider.

To understand why, we have to delve into its innards to see how it works.

A potentiometer consists of a length of resistive wire in a coil.

A rotating contact called a "wiper" makes contact with some part of the wire.

Rotating the knob on the potentiometer allows you to adjust this point of contact.

The resistance between the wiper and each end of the resistuve wire changes as the knob

is rotated - The further current has to flow across the wire, the more resistance it encounters.

What this means is, at its simplest, we can use just two terminals of the potentiometer,

causing it to act as a variable resistor.

Turning the knob lets you select a different level of resistance.

However, what's more interesting is how we can tweak this up for it to work as a potential

divider.

See it like this - You've got what is essentially two resistors of variable resistance within

the potentiometer.

The wiper will be your point of contact in the middle.

Supplying positive and negative to both ends of the wire completes the setup.

By twisting the knob, we can smoothly change up the resistances, and thus as a result,

the ratio between the two resistors.

This gives us a simple way to adjust the output voltage.

So in summary, a potential divider is a made up of two or more resistors between a voltage

source and ground.

A reduced voltage can be taken from the junction between two resistors.

The voltage there can be calculated based on the ratio of the resistances.

Here's a rule of thumb that could make things a little bit easier.

If you were to treat the resistances as distances, then you could simply say that the "closer"

you are to the "high" power source, the higher the output voltage is going to be.

Conversely the "closer" you are to ground, the lower the voltage would be.

Thinking this way makes it extremely easy to picture the output voltage of a normal

potential divider, and it also gives you a quick gauge on how to set up a potentiometer.

You see, the usual behavior for control knobs is that, for whatever quantity you're controlling,

the more clockwise you turn, the greater the value.

Assuming this is controlled by a voltage, what the rule of thumb will tell us is that

the positive terminal needs to be the rightmost terminal.

We know this since well, the further right the wiper goes, the higher the output voltage

needs to be.

So what this means is the wiper needs to get closer and closer to the positive terminal

as we turn to the right.

And that's why we set things up this way.

Inverting the positive and negative terminals will cause the range of outputs from the potentiometer

to be inverted.

And that's it on potential dividers!

I hope you've learnt something today but until next time, you're watching 0612 TV with Nerdfirst.net

When Rebuilding Is Smarter Than Renovating | Home Extensions Walkerville video 2 - Duration: 1:58.

Hi everyone Kym Dowling here from Dowling Homes. I'm at our Walkerville project, and I hope you've been following the story of this fantastic build.

It's a massive two-storey addition on the back of a beautiful old villa right in the heart of Walkerville.

Video one showed the existing property, and although it was a big two-story addition -

completely unworkable, accessed

by a spiral staircase -

very small rooms, and just didn't flow and,

like I said in the first video, rather than reinvent

what was there, it's more economical to actually take it down and start again, and this is what we've done.

Major demolition to the existing addition that was on

the back, plus some extra stone walls that had to come down as well because they weren't structurally sound

and we've now done the

footings and concrete slab so you can get a scope for the size of this build - its very big and this

concrete's going to be polished as well and

we've also got to a point where the structural

skeletal steel frame is in place and as you can see going up, up and up -

this is going to be one massive build. But not only will it be massive, it's going to be

designed properly and it's going to work extremely well for the owners.

Can't wait to show you some more footage which will be the wall frames. We've already got the timber in place ready to

start on those in the next few days so watch this space. There'll be plenty more footage of this beautiful

two-storey villa here in Walkerville.

I'm Kym Dowling from Dowling Homes. Bye for now.
