today I'm gonna be showing you guys some functions that might be familiar in
Photoshop but actually do cross over to a dear Billy straighter you might be
surprised to some of these functions if you don't already know them whilst
working in the illustrator
this video is not me comparing illustrator to Photoshop as such is to
showing you some functions that do crossover between the two programs
obviously the main difference is that illustrator will use vector functions
for vector designs which results in a crisp and clean design any scale sir
Photoshop I used layer blend modes a whole lot and I thought they're really
handy and you can find them here in the layers window however let's head back to
illustrator you might not know we might not use them that often for the blend
mode settings illustrator to exist you can locate and open them here in the
transparency window you're going to realize there are several blend mode
options here for you to use which I do use from time to time and you can have a
lot of fun with these settings for digital arts and so forth the second of
the five functions that cross between Photoshop and illustrator is a fact that
we have layers this may be obvious to most or some people and layers are
really important in Photoshop they're less important illustrator but there are
some instances where it's handy to know they exist
the blue icon here shows you which layer you're currently selected on you can
drag an arranged layer order which can be handy from time to time so in
Photoshop using the artistic filters is something very standard obvious to any
use of the software but you can actually use these very same options in Adobe
Illustrator onto vector designs
now the outcomes might be slightly different in Photoshop but I feel
sometimes a specific design work it might be worth experimenting with
these options illustrator and seeing what you can create and generate you
might be surprised at what kind of designs you can generate in seconds just
by applying one of these effects the upshot is of course that your final
design is going to be a vector which is one of the main reasons why I love add a
beauty straight to so much another staple of Photoshop workflow is using
layer masks which is essential for professional workflow in that program
you can find layer masks with the icon here in Illustrator you actually have
two different kind of masks at your disposal the first up which is a

then right-click or control-click the selection or locate the clipping mask in
the drop down menu the second mask is located in transparency window for this
you can apply textures and other elements to a design this isn't a
texture but just to show you quickly how the mask can work uncheck the clipping
option and then paste whatever you want to lay over the mask into the right
window here the gradient doesn't do this effect
justice is best to use texture layers to overlay the final function that you can
use in this trait is an interesting one we all know Photoshop uses pixels
instead of vectors but in the debut illustrator you can actually switch it
with a pixel view this will help you reviewing graphics ready for web use the
size of the design seems fine and it's not that pixelated zoomed in to 100% but
if I then make it smaller and zoom in to 100% you will see the change in quality
and the pixel graphics

So today tadaa do Y'all remember me saying I was goin on a diet?

From that day onwards I've been walking at least 30 minutes
30 minutes to an hour or so... and so today....
I've decided to try some lower calorie things to eat
I prepped six people's worth of salad It weighed roughly over 3 kg
They look so yummy and so colorful
These are from a rather popular shop in Tokyo called Crisp Salad Works
Y'all goona be shook when I tell you the price of this
The cheapest one is bout $15
And the most expensive one is bout $20
just for a salad.... a salad you guys!!!

But I got to say that I'm so thankful to be able to eat so much veg so easily like this
the pricing just can't be helped they look so yummy
itadakimasu to drink today is some san pellegrino limonada
I've been buyin' quite a lot of this I don't remember everything about this so I gotta read up on it
in italy they take fresh squeezed lemons and oranges add carbonation and sugar
a very simple drink called limonada and ?aranchatta?
This Is Made by San Pellegrino and since its lemon flavored its a limonada the orange one is probably the other one
Don't these sounds so...... healthy?
its very fresh and only contains natural ingredients And to top it all off it's so tasty and that's why I've
been all about these lately
just look at this... its got a lid like this
If you remove that It looks like this
The cans look sooo fancy
It's also got such a nice Aroma to it You can really smell of lemons
I can totally chug a bunch of these
and now the salad
Let's start off at a downtown Cobb its a large and this is the dressing
The dressing looks so amazing
And this is what it looks like
Packed full of veg
romain, ham, white cheddar, avocado, tomato boiled egg and a butter milk dressing
So much lettuce
The vegetables are so fresh Crispy And delish
avocado
Goes perfectly with the dressing Got a bit of a tang which is yummy
You can also taste the ham in it its so yummy
the ham is so T H I C C its not thinly sliced
They're so big packed full of umami and so yummy
This came with spoons Is it easier to eat with a spoon?
The lettuce is cut so nicely That it's easy to scoop up with a spoon
oh so boiled eggs mean .... ゆでたまご
I thought it was nice that they added eggs to this and it turned out that is what "boiled eggs" are
limonada = yum
The flavor of lemon is so refreshing And that carbonation really cuts through
Next up hipster
And for dressing its got basil onion dressing
Very vinegary It's got pepper in it
It's a very sour dressing and goes so nicely with the veggies
With the added apples in here it adds a dash of sweetness
the walnuts are so tasty
Its flavored with an onion and vinegar dressing
It's got cheese and some celery You can really taste the celery in it

these salads are tasty AF I'm so surprised
Using apples walnuts and celery There's all sorts of different textures making it so fun
There's so many different flavors in one single bite

next is cal mex I've been calling out all these names but none of
them make a lick of sense to me this is so tough to open...
This is the sauce it's a Mexican honey vinaigrette
Sounds like piglet
so vinegary
With the addition of honey in this dressing It's so nice and sweet
It's very vinegary and also has a bit of pepper
This also has an avocado on it
It has Grilled Chicken in it so very yummy
Also has croutons
These croutons are very crunchy
next up is classic chicken caesar
This one must be there best seller
this dressing looks so darn yummy this caesar looks so yummy
My fave type of dressing cuz' its so cheezy The Romaine is cut up so nicely that its very easy to eat
You can really taste the cheese in it It's a Caesar dressing but its sprinkled with parmesan cheese
Caesar dressing has such strong flavors and its so yummy you can totally taste the anchovy in it
I don't think there are any in it but what I'm saying is its flavored strongly
croutons so yummy
this is the spicy baimai
it comes with a creamy sriracha dressing I've had treats flavored with sriracha before
its got a spicy flavor to it
I had a treat flavored with sriracha that I ate before
The Sriracha dressing is so yummy This reminds me of a creamy chili sauce
It's got bits of carrots Which changes up the flavor profile
Since I'm eating only cold things today I'm starting to get a bit chilly
I was thinking that these are rather expensive But since there is so much veg packed into these bowls
its rather filling and well... not me that is...
It doesn't fill up my tummy that much but its really tiring out my jaw
Since you have to chew so much it makes you think you are fuller than you actually are
It's filled with quite a lot of things romain grilled chicken carrot spicy broccoli cilantro
Sunflower seed.... its got a bunch of things I've never heard of before... they sound like super foods

Wasn't all this stuff vegan already? oh....
oh wait a minute it did have meat in it as well oh thats right... thats right....
I thought that since I was eating salads I was being vegan already
Lemon tahini dressing It's got a very Sesame kind of uhh look to it
so ひまわり seeds are called sunflower seeds wait does sunflower mean ひまわり？
wait its the seeds of the sunflower plant? oh that's right.... that's right...
wow.... So in English they call those sunflowers
The dressing is very Sesame like And the lemon really brightens up the flavor
And sunflower seeds really go nicely with this
So up until now these came with chicken or ham So instead this one has roasted tofu
And this was so nicely with a dressing as well Sesame sauce goes so nicely with tofu
With the added Walnut it has such a fun balance of textures its also sweet and yummy
It's also got corn
Because it has a lid on it it's so nice and clean
I really enjoy their attention to detail like this
Last mouthful itadakimasu
gochisosamadeshita The three kilograms of salad was very yummy
I also feel a bit healthier now
I'm so shook to find out how adding all these Different things to salads make them so tasty
They also came with all sorts of different dressings Which were also very yummy
apples, ham chicken walnuts... croutons and tofu and avocado which I really liked

Planning for Children with Autism – Create an Autism Action Plan for Your Child or Client - Duration: 6:03.
Making a plan that will work at home and at school is the second most important step to
start turning autism around for your clients or child, so I'm diving into the topic of
planning today.
Hi.
I'm Dr. Mary Barbera, autism mom, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and best-selling author.
One of the biggest problems I see in the autism world are well-meaning parents and professionals
simply working on the wrong things.
This is caused by not assessing the whole situation and then not using that assessment
to make a plan for the child, both at home and school.
So let me tell you about Brentley.
Brentley's mom, Kelsey, was driving little Brentley, who was only two and a half years
old, an hour each way to an ABA clinic.
He was working on colors when he was at the ABA clinic but he shouldn't have been working
on colors because Brentley was banging his head on hard surfaces up to 60 times a day.
He was running into streets and into the water, requiring Kelsey to put a harness and a leash
on while Brentley was out in the community.
So there's an example where the ABA staff and Kelsey were working on the wrong things
and it wasn't helping Brentley.
I also have another example of a boy who was about 10 years old when I worked with him
briefly.
And the staff was trying to teach him prepositions and colors and intraverbal webbing and all
these more advanced language topics, and this 10-year-old couldn't even wash his hands independently.
He also insisted on sitting on a sofa during all meals, refusing to come to the table with
his parents.
So here's another example where we're not looking at the whole picture near enough and
not making a plan based on the child's strengths, needs, and age, and as well as family priorities.
So in all situations I recommend a thorough assessment, but it doesn't have to be super
thorough on day one.
In fact, I created a one-page assessment form several years ago, that can be completed in
about five or ten minutes.
So after the assessment is done, of the whole situation, then we want to look at creating
a plan.
That plan, like I said, needs to be based on the child's strengths and needs, and based
on the assessment that you just completed.
It also needs to take into account the child's age and family priorities.
It's common to have a lot of issues that you want to address.
So you might have a strength column on the planning form that's very short and the need
column is very long.
So in Brentley's situation, if potty training was a need, but he's only two and a half at
that point, or if he's three at that point, if he's banging his head on hard surfaces,
if he's running into the street, has no safety awareness, has no ability to come to a table
and to request things, then working on potty training, it's still a need but it's not a
need that we need to prioritize right this second.
So we can't tackle all the needs at the same time and this is where we have to really work
with the family and the professionals to come up with a plan that is right for the child.
If I were teaching you how to fly a plane or play a guitar, it would take months to
master even the most basic concepts.
So it's best to start at the point to work as a team and to start at ground zero, the
first note you would play on the guitar or the first main panel with just a few buttons.
So we need to almost go back to more basic, very simple tasks before we get to harder
tasks.
So you can update the assessment and planning forms every few months and this will allow
you to go back and see how much progress your child or client makes, and see how their strengths
and needs change over time.
