Vlog 43: Tattooed, Shot and nearly died 2 times! (TILmySchool) - Duration: 18:09.All: Yo guys!
Dennis: How's it going?
Dennis: Welcome to diary week 43
Dennis: The most exciting week of all time
Dennis: This is gonna get crazy!
Eniz: Austria!
Week 43
Dennis: Yo yo yo how's it going?
Dennis: And welcome to the new vlog
Dennis: We're still in Austria and...
Dennis: Start the new vlog, the new week, on Saturday
Dennis: Because we're now driving into the alps
Dennis: We go to Werfenweng
Dennis: Where our next flat is, our next station
Dennis: We'll go into the alps
Dennis: And got some pretty nice stuff waiting for you this week
Eniz: What do we have?
Dennis: I don't know, but we'll come up with something
Dennis: This is gonna be a great week
Dennis: Have fun with the vlog
Dennis: And see you in the alps
Eniz: Seems like we'll be there soon
Eniz: We have a pool and a sauna
Eniz: But it's really cheap
Eniz: Because it's summer season
Eniz: In winter season it's pretty expensive here
Eniz: But in summer, no one's here
Eniz: But 3 idiots in a van who play at schools here
Eniz: That's it
Eniz: Ta-da!
Dennis: Look, they made some snacks for us
Eniz: What did they make?
Dennis: Snacks
Eniz: Oh awesome!
Eniz: Dumbass
Dennis: We braught forward the May day
Dennis: Because we're at such a beautiful place
Dennis: And go hiking in the alps
Dennis: I don't know about the others, but for me...
Dennis: I planned... Watch out!
Dennis: There's a way uphill
Dennis: Right?
Dennis: I'll summit one of these mountains
Dennis: We also have a huge swimming pool
Dennis: In our house
Dennis: When we're done here
Dennis: We'll probably meet again in the swimming pool
Dennis: Unfortunately, the way uphill is closed
Dennis: Because there's a targeted detonation
Dennis: I have to find another way to climb that awesome mountain
Dennis: If this won't get in the vlog, he's crying
Dennis: Eniz bowed out and is on his way back home
Dennis: Kinda exhausting to go uphill
Dennis: And it's steeping more and more
Dennis: It's really steep
Dennis: I think this is the end of the way
Dennis: Should we go up there or what?
Dennis: That's a little bit too steep, isn't it?
Dennis: But we have to push through somewhere
Dennis: Watch out
Dennis: It's reaaally steep now
Jona: Ok
Dennis: I'll just stay here filming you with the zoom
Jona: Mountaineers!
Jona: Why are we climbing up this way?
Jona: And not just walking the normal way?
Dennis: It's funnier
Jona: Yeah, right
Dennis: Wicked shit ey
Jona: Shit
Jona: Check this out! I gotta turn around
Jona: It's ultra exhausting
Jona: We left the normal way
Jona: And hike on a f*****g shit way
Jona: But check out this view
Jona: Now we're moving on through this
Jona: I don't know if we'll make it up there
Jona: Because that's extremely bold
Jona: And even here it's ultra steep
Jona: You can't see HOW steep it is
Dennis: Sorry mum if you see this
Dennis: But it's nearly impossibel to go back down here
Dennis: So we hope the way continues up there
Dennis: And then we can go back down on the side
Dennis: Can you get through somewhere?
Jona: I don't know, it's soo...
Dennis: On the right side?
Jona: No kidding, I'm scared
Jona: If one stone breaks away, you're done
Jona: I just try to hold on to something
Jona: But it's not even straight-up, but overhead
Jona: So if we slip off, we're done
Dennis: Should I try to push you up?
Jona: No joke right now
Jona: Shit I have to put the camera inside my bag
Jona: I can't stay like this
Dennis: What?
Jona: I can't film here, put it inside my bag
Jona: Look, I'm laying here
Jona: What are we doing here?
Jona: We can get through there
Dennis: Should I put it in your bag?
Jona: Yes take it
(We couldn't film from here on)
(We reached the steepest part of the mountain and hang in a cliff, nearly vertical)
(One wrong move could have made us slip-off and fall down)
(We were extremely lucky)
(Please don't ever do this! It was a big mistake!)
Jona: We tried...
Jona: Looking back, one of the most stupid ideas ever
Jona: We just thought, it was beastly steep
Jona: We thought for a moment we're going to die
Jona: We couldn't move forward OR backward
Jona: And we thought about... It sounds so stupid
Jona: Writing our parents that we love them
Jona: Writing to the people we love
Jona: We thought, okay...
Jona: Were both going to die alone here in the middle of the alps
Jona: I literally cried up there
Jona: I really did
Jona: I really thought I was going to die
Dennis: Why we didn't film up there?
Dennis: Because we couldn't
Jona: For real, I just a found a place to pause for a minute
Jona: You see how Dennis hangs in there
Dennis: We had to...
Dennis: Slide down somehow
Jona: And it's still ultra steep
Dennis: there was no stabilty
Dennis: We had nothing to hold on to
Dennis: Here's no one else far and wide
Jona: That was just stupid juvenility
Jona: And whoever has such a bad idea
Jona: Just don't do it!
Jona: That really was, I'm not kidding
Jona: It was so close
Jona: That we would have died
Dennis: I'm never gonna do anything like this ever again
Jona: Just got some more wounds
Jona: On the last piece
Jona: How could we think that we can get up there?
Jona: Guys I am soo happy right now
Jona: We survived that shit
Jona: F**k
Jona: We survived
Dennis: I'm just glad i can go back home now
Dennis: And lay in my bed
Dennis: I think the stabilizer isn't working
Dennis: It's shaking
Jona: Is it?
Dennis: And
Jona: F**k, don't say it's broken
Jona: Due to the jars
Jona: F**k it's broken
Jona: Such a little decision, which way we go
Dennis: We primarily wanted to go that way
Dennis: But then thought
Jona: This one's steeper
Dennis: That this way would be faster to the summit
Dennis: Eniz is gonna kill us
Jona: Yes
(Note form Eniz)
(I did)
Dennis: If he sees this
Jona: I think so, too
Jona: But Eniz is the reasonable one for real!
Jona: Eniz wouldn't have done this
Dennis: Eniz would have stopped us from doing this
Jona: If Eniz would have been with us
Jona: He would have said it a few times
Jona: And I would have thought he's a killjoy
Dennis: You see this yellow stripe?
Dennis: There we were, not able to move forward or backward
Dennis: Right in this spot
Dennis: Pardon?
Did you read the "swimming guidelines"?
Dennis: What do you mean?
No jumping in
Dennis: Ah okay
Eniz: As you can see, we have
Eniz: In our AirBnb flat thing
Eniz: A pool
Eniz: A Pooli
Eniz: The water is enjoyable
Eniz: After...
Eniz: 10 days of touring a shower is awesome
Eniz: You really did break it
Jona: We did?
Eniz: Yes
Eniz: Why does he take his mobile into the water?
Eniz: Until Tomorrow
Eniz: Ey dennis catch it
Eniz: We're now leaving our Alp-flat
Eniz: And...
Eniz: I keep...
Eniz: We have a day off, it's Monday, but we don't play at a school today
Eniz: And we go to Salzburg again
Eniz: And in the evening, we sleep in a creepy hut
Eniz: Without Wlan or a shower
Eniz: Whyever
Eniz: But don't mind
Eniz: It's gonna be interesting, funny, cool
Eniz: So ehhm...
Eniz: Til yesterday we were in that cool flat
Eniz: In the mountains
Eniz: Dennis is our tour guide
Eniz: And booked a 23€ mountain hut
Eniz: "With charme"
Eniz: You all know these horror movie huts
Eniz: If that isn't THIS hut
Eniz: Then I don't know
Jona: Why should one sleep here?
Dennis: F**k
Eniz: Til tomorrow
(A night in the horror hut)
Dennis: So we slept in the horror hut tonight
Dennis: And there was no water at all
Dennis: Nothing, no shower, no water
Dennis: Nothing at all, so we
Dennis: So we couldn't brush our teeth
Dennis: Coudn't wash ourselves
Dennis: Couldn't do anything
Dennis: That's why we brush our teeth here in the van
Dennis: But...

BEST OF APRIL! Inspiration & highlights ǀ Justine Leconte - Duration: 9:30.This episode is supported by Skillshare.
Hi everyone, it's Justine.
Welcome to this channel if you're new.
This is a video I now do once a month.
I share what inspired me and what I've been doing, and then you can share your own highlights
in the comments.
It's like a forum, but better.
Let's start, and you'll see.
I went to Matera.
It's a little town in the south of Italy where the houses are caves carved into the
rock.
Before I tell you more about this, here is a short video to give you an impression of
what the town looks like.
Matera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which will become the European Capital of Culture
this year.
It's a labyrinth, where the first human settlements date back to prehistory.
The churches especially struck me there.
They are completely unfinished; just partially carved in to the mountain.
They look like caverns, very primitive and unstable, where you can see the moss growing
and the roots coming out through the stone.
The religious paintings are done directly on the rock and moss is literally growing
over them as if nature is trying to win back the caves.
Fascinating.
Then I heard of the concept of Wabi-sabi.
It's a word that defines the aesthetic of things in traditional Japanese culture.
I found this book, which is called very practically "Wabi-sabi for Artists, Designers, Poets
and Philosophers" by Leonard Koren.
So it's exactly what I needed.
It explains extremely clearly what Wabi-sabi means, which is that everything in this world
is in fact incomplete, imperfect and non-permanent, so in the Japanese aesthetic, beauty can be
found in the very simple things, discrete things, not bling-bling.
For instance, the moss that grows on an old piece of wood in the shade somewhere in a
forest.
And that vision of things made me think of the churches in Matera again and suddenly
it all made sense.
You know in Western cultures, we're influenced by the wish for "perfect beauty" that
we learned from Ancient Greece, from their perfect aesthetic, symmetrical statues. The
Japanese see it completely differently.
So this book will give you a new perspective.
This month, I found a great audiobook about fostering the creativity in you.
It's called "The Artist's Way at Work".
There was a theory book called "The Artist's Way", the first one, which is a best-seller.
And then they added this one, which is the method to really unleash your creativity in
practice.
So everyone has unique skills; you just need to let the child in you come out and play.
And they give very concrete tools to achieve that, for instance "time-outs".
They call that "weekly moments of deliberate frivolity", where you simply go and explore
things that you're curious about.
Not for self-improvement, but for fun.
Cool, huh?
They also talk about writing morning pages to learn to dump the negativity and to acknowledge
your negative thoughts.
They give tips and tricks like that, very easy to apply.
I found this audiobook incredibly helpful.
Then two weeks ago, ESMOD, one of the famous fashion schools in Berlin, was having a sale.
They were getting rid of equipment, sewing machines, dress forms, etc. so on a Saturday
in April, I went dress form shopping.
It was fun.
There was a room for each thing, so one room full of dress forms, one room full of body
parts.
So people will walk out with a leg in size 12 or an arm in size 8 under their arms.
In another room there were fabrics… rolls, endless…
There were ironing boards, sewing machines in another room.
I got a great rack to put in my office, with wheels, to hang up clothes.
It's very easy to move around, a total bargain, I was super happy I found it.
And I also got an old Pfaff sewing machine in excellent condition.
Really, it's fast, it can do so many different stitches, it has the number 15 on it.
What I didn't know at the beginning was that the school wasn't simply replacing
their equipment.
They were closing down.
Forever.
So that sales day was actually a sad day for the people working there and for the students.
And it's also bad for Berlin as a fashion city, to lose a school like that.
But to whoever used to sew on the Pfaff number 15, please know that it's in good hands
and that I will take good care of it.
Now it's time for the highlights that you wrote under last month's video.
Fantastic suggestions in there.
You might know Ludovico Einaudi; he's a composer and a pianist.
His album, Taranta Project, is a wonderful, unlikely, captivating, unique mix of cultural
genres.
It's a hybrid thing in terms of music, which I've been listening to on repeat the whole
month, while performing tasks that don't require my brain, so I can focus on the music
instead.
It's not background music; it's something that you really listen to and enjoy actively.
It's available on Spotify.
If you have it, you will find it there.
Then, Erin Meyer's book, "The Culture Map" explains the differences between each
culture in the world.
It explains basically why, if you put a Japanese person, a French person and an American person
together on one team, you will probably have misunderstandings.
If you've been working abroad, or in multicultural teams, you probably know what I'm talking
about.
The movie "Shape of Water", which you probably heard about, is a fantasy drama,
a beautiful movie, which ended up winning several prizes this year.
It's very poetic.
It's beautiful.
It went straight to my heart.
There were so many more great tips that it's a pity to end the list here, really.
I will put a link to the previous video here and in the description below.
I recommend that you go through the comments.
It's really a wealth of ideas.
More than enough for a full month of inspiration.
Last but not least, I'd like to introduce a website where you can learn new skills.
It's called Skillshare.
They have over 20,000 classes sorted by topic.
For instance, let's say you want to learn photography, which is my goal for this year.
You can do food photography, blogger photography, portraits, improve your composition, etc.
I like that each class is short and specific.
I prefer that than having a huge "learn photography from A to Z" block.
You can bookmark the classes you're interested in and build your own learning list.
Skillshare works on a monthly fee basis.
Once you're a premium member you have unlimited access to all classes: creative classes, tech,
business classes, whatever you want to learn.
Now why are they sponsoring this video?
What's in it for you?
They're giving away two months of membership for free to the first 500 people who sign up.
I will put a special link for that in the description below.
It's first come, first serve so I hope that everyone who is interested will get the deal.
This is all I have for you today.
Thumbs up if you enjoyed this video.
Thank you very much.
If you wish to share your own creative highlights with everyone here and with me, please do so.
Comment below using the hashtag #creativehighlights.
That helps me find it in all the comments.
Thanks again for all your great inspiring tips last month.
The video is linked down below and here in the corner.
See you in the next one.
Have a great day.
Don't forget to subscribe to this channel if you haven't done so already, and take care.
Bye!

About 1,300 LEGO parts from Bricklink, unboxed 📦 #227 - Duration: 9:53.hey there everyone I has a box and to open this box I has a knife I'll be
using this one again I believe it was my first what I consider to be high-end
knife what many considered to be well technically it's called a mid-tech it's
a medium and medium range knife base expensive as it was I think it deserves
to be considered high-end I actually have a knife safety tip today I haven't
had one of those in a little while but I wanted to share this because it's
important and relevant based on an experience that I had recently that's
just somewhat related this is an order from brick link I got this order by
going to brick link and placing an order you know brick link com knife safety tip
for this one folding knives like this always have a locking mechanism and you
can just hear it lock right now click is that nice click if it's a good even a
decent quality knife it's gonna have a good lock that is perfectly designed to
create safe safety to prevent the knife from folding in on your fingers while
you're using it however never trust that too much never use a folding knife with
force in the direction that would cause it to fold in on you because you never
know sometimes those things can fail sometimes you might do something funny
with with your hand accidentally you might slip in some other way and
accidentally unlock that this is called a frame lock but some have a liner lock
so I'm gonna have a back lock just just don't stab into something and then do
upwards forces use prying force from the back or the spine of the of the knife in
the direction that would make it fold in on you even though that is gonna prevent
anything bad from happening most likely it's most likely its what it's designed
to do but be extra safe be extra careful don't test your luck
so I have some gray stuff here let me see if there's any invoice or anything
in here let's see any paperwork you don't see
anything so let me just start dumping some of this out oh I see the reason
that I initiated this order there's always there's always a specific reason
for almost always sometimes it's just to get a bunch of stuff that's kind of
queued up in my want list I see the specific reason and that reason is in
this bag I got a bundle of these yes yes whole bundle of these new silver colored
cable pieces from that Jurassic world on kingdom set forget which one it was what
I think was the Dilophosaurus one I think anyway it was used in fencing and
I think this is just great stuff I want to get a bunch more of these because
Lego has never had anything quite like this it's flexible it's thin
thinner than a bar even and just continuous and straight you know no no
ribbing on there no design or anything it's just really useful for making all
kinds of shapes and creating pipes and wires and lines and things and it
attaches simply enough so I have a an email alert I think for that when a
seller shows up with a fair amount of those I might buy them depending upon
the price lots of great stuff because I still need more gray stuff because I've
used up a lot of gray stuff I still need more to continue working on my mountain
you just start bringing the edges in now I need bricks I've you stepped 1-by
plates in dark grey all around my my rail line around the yard I need a lot
more I have just a you know those those big tubs
that I use drawers the drawer system that I use to hold parts I don't even
have a single flat layer in my 1 by x plate drawer for dark gray and that's
that's bad that's really bad some other stuff while I was there while I was at
this stool it it had a bunch of these goodies I got some other things off my
want list including new parts like the tan color for these classic Lego seats
yellow color for these new two by two modified towels with only two studs on
top white for the modified 1 by 2 plate rounded with hollow studs got some tan
and yellow quarter round corner tiles I've got a couple of these white corner
2 by 2 tiles and some white oculars or macro macro binoculars electril
binoculars and that is a printed piece I believe that was from a junior set I
don't remember what it's from but you know it's showing oh make it whatever
you want it to be could be fabric could be cake your imagination
just a cool looking print and then I saw some other stuff in one of these didn't
quite fit the mold oh yeah so this is a number of things in here at first glance
just a moment just a bunch more grey stuff but you see these Technic parts
that are three mod long three modulus I think the length of three with two axial
ends and then the pin hole through the middle and then some corner tiles to a
twos and then just the notched two by two plates in dark grey also in this bag
are some of these kind of squared off vendors in gray I
think I just got one set of them there and then the rest of the interesting
stuff is in here so here I have more quarter round tiles and half round tiles
got some green got some orange got a bunch of brown regular reddish-brown
lime green color for these kind of sprout pieces foliage pieces silver
short pistols Star Wars style some gray regular male hair pieces and then this
is a little potpourri bag here with green fenders light gray four by four
round plates with a 2x2 hole in the middle you see these cuz I don't need to
describe everything fully that voice you can pretty much see what is here light
grey brown orange red squared off fenders one set and that's that cool I
can move on and add these to my once again increasing pile of stuff to sort
because that last haul that I showed you I haven't sorted those I actually moved
those pieces out of the way just before starting this video to be able to do
this without a pile of parts behind it as a matter of fact here's the container
right here I actually thought about just opening the box on top of this just to
kind of highlight the lunacy of it all and then I still have two hauls before
that mm-hmm make that three holes before that two
came in on the same day I didn't even require just relatively small things but
yeah so I really need to sort stuff I really need time I really need a time
machine if anybody has a time machine hit me up in the comments I'll talk to
you in soon wait I missed this one it looks great
from distance from the angle I was looking at but this actually has black
pieces in it cool more jumper 1 by 3s relatively new and black 1 by 2 rounded
plate hollow studs and corner tiles in black normal ones and these little guys
modified 1 by 1 stud with open stud and bar coming out the side very good stuff
very valuable me squared off fenders in black and those corner tiles and these
mod tiles 2 studs on top - I - yeah in black and I think there's one other type
of item in here maybe not not there wasn't that maybe it yeah that looks
like that's it ok I'm done bye

Health Benefits of Eating Goat Meat - Duration: 3:23.The new case for eating goat meat
you probably eat goat cheese already and know people who drink goat milk and hey maybe you do to but goat meat of well get
ready for it because it may just be the biggest new trend in animal protein
while goat is a staple in Middle Eastern north African and Caribbean cultures here in the U.S.
the protein pact lean red meat has flown way under the radar
now that's all changing thanks in part to growing immigrant populations that have
helped the import of goat meat shoot up Ninefold over the past two decades
during the same time goat production here in the states has soared by 350%
so what's all the fuss about
mainly goat has a cake as nutritional profile
with a taste that's just as hearty as beef and lamb
of 3 ounce serving of roasted goat has just 122 calories and 23 g of protein
the same size portion of ground beef has the same amount of protein
but for 235 calories in fact despite being a red meat
goat has six fewer calories per serving than boneless skinless chicken
not a huge difference but a big deal
considering chickens reputation as the leanest meet you can eat
goat meets flavor isn't as gamy as you'd expect either
with a flavor that smiled and approachable
says Erin Fairbanks assistant director of sales at specialty butcher heritage foods USA
other sources describe it as sweet herbaceous delicate and grassy here are six reasons you should switch to goat cheese
true it's still a bit tricky to find
but it is out there the best places to find goat are your local specialty butcher farmers market and ethnic markets
says Fairbanks the make sure you ask for it to even if are retailer doesn't sell goat he or she may be able to find you someone who dies
online retailers like heritage foods USA also sell ground goat
ribs chops legs shoulders
and more since goats are similar in size and shape to lambs most whole cuts can be
cooked just like lamb goat is also best cooked it low temperatures
since its low in fat it can dry out more quickly than richer cuts like marbled stake for this reason
the meat is best used in dishes that cook low and slow
like curry's studios and chiles here are a couple recipes to get you started
the not only is goat good for your health
it's also good for the planet goat ranchers aren't allowed to use hormones per the USTA
and most animals are raised humanely and responsibly on small scale farms
still look for pasture raised on labels to make sure you're getting the best cut possible

Painting Tutorial | How To Paint a Mountain Scene | Alaska Painting - Duration: 8:49.hey there it's Ashley here welcome to create full art you know you haven't
heard from me for awhile and that is because I was moving we have moved from
Alaska to an RV and we're going to be traveling to all US states and I'm going
to be painting what inspires me in all those states I'm going to be sharing my
journey with you in my videos I hope you enjoy it
for those who want postcards you can become a createful Art member and there is
a link in the description below there are a lot of benefits to becoming a
member and so I hope you join us today we are traveling to Alaska to paint a
mountain scene so I decided to paint pioneer peak because I got to see it on
my drives in Wasilla and I really enjoyed the beauty that those mountains
portrayed we call it the Matanuska Valley and it's just gorgeous because of
all these farms that are right below this mountain and there's a glacier up
ahead and so there's this glacier River that flows right below the mountain this
is what inspired me to paint this picture because it's one of the things
that I loved about living in Alaska today I'm giving you this tutorial to
inspire your creativity don't worry about using my exact colors brushes
brush strokes use the steps to help you create your very own mountain scene so
the first step is choosing your colors and I'm going to use this plate as a
palette I give myself a great big clump of white in the middle so I don't lay
out all of my colors right away because my colors will dry on here and I don't
want that to happen so I'm going to do one color at a time and then bring in
all the colors
so the second step is sketching your painting okay so what I'm going to do
right now is take this blue make a very light color right here
and I'm going to draw the outline of the mountain as it is notice that I'm using
a flat brush to do this as most mountains are a jagged and I'm not
going to get so precise that I have to make everything perfect okay but I am
gonna look at my mountains and where I want them to lay and try to get my
composition correct I did this all freehand now if that's uncomfortable for
you you can always blow up your mountain and trace it or whatever you feel like
doing but I just like a free style of painting and so this is the way I do it
and I'm just kind of copying my mountains and you just do the same thing
find those shapes within your mountain okay so I sketched out the main ideas so
I've got where the trees are where I'm going to have a certain road where the
eye is going to lead up to my mountains okay and now that I have this sketch
done I'm going to go ahead and paint my background and with my skies I never
make them completely smooth for my own personal style you know it's really
personal how you want your sky but the reason why I want the sun to be coming
from this side is because on these little edges right here that sun is
going to come off of those edges okay and highlight them otherwise they really
don't get highlighted they end up just being really dark and the mountains dark
okay so go ahead and start building up your sky next thing you can do is come
down to these mountains it's a different colors to make these jagged okay see how
I bring in the warm and the cool and I grab another color and I bring it in
okay and I'm just looking at my photo reference and I'm seeing what colors are
bouncing off of these mountains and then I'm coming in and making them
bounce off the mountains right here okay so I have my purple here
and I just come over here and I add that contrast okay I'm just basically
covering the canvas and then adding you know some of the details as I go and I
kind of just work on this section for a little bit then I go to the next section
and I will be layering a lot okay that's what I'm just doing right now is
laying the undertone the basics of what's going on here and basically
what's separating these two is white this is where the snow melts it comes in
here I'm gonna kind of show you where some of the ridges are at and see once I
start putting in that contrast it starts forming the mountain like really quickly
so I basically find the main color and move it across that's I mean that's the
gist of it so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to step away from my
mountain for a minute and come down here and basically put down the main colors
okay feel the green ahhh...feels good I'm going to bring some of that purple down because you
should always bring in some of the color that's up here down here and over on
this side over here because the Sun is mostly through here hitting those and
then this has got a lot of shadow going on ah yes yes okay and this is just the
undercoating remember okay and see how this is just cut off like that that's
why I'm going to bring this up through here make it more of a curved going on
right here not in my reference photo and bring this
across so it doesn't break off so crazy right there
then really the river does go right here anyway you just can't see it that well
in the reference photo okay see how that works right are you ready for the next
step
alright so for this step so you're gonna focus more on the mountain and because
this is going to be my focal point I really want to focus on it so what I
want to do is I'm actually gonna come in and look at my reference photo and
really focus on the details so I come in here and I'm just adding what it's
supposed to be with large brush strokes you can do it however you wish for your
mountains so once you have your mountains to a place that you like them
okay then it's on to the foreground and this
is the next step so the foreground you don't want to have a lot going on
because this is your main focus right basically what I do when you come into
the foreground I always like to start back here this comes in right here with
some trees so I want my trees to point to the mountains okay this this is a
little forest right here Oh looking more like a forest okay
so then right through here there is a lines going this direction cuz it's a
field so I'm just gonna find the lines a little bit more then there's some other
stuff going on over here I don't know it doesn't better da da da just make it
look like something all the time I'm looking back seeing okay what do I want
to do is that what I want to do okay I'm gonna lighten this right
through here just so the eye goes there a little bit better so this step you're
just gonna add in more details but don't get too detailed
I hope you enjoyed painting these Alaska mountains with me and you learned a lot
about how to paint mountains if you enjoyed this video go ahead and

Cherry blossom cake/Motivtorte/ Kirschblütentorte/ Bánh hoa anh đào - Duration: 20:11.Hello, it's nice that you tuned into thuskochtour again.
Today I have a cake for you, this beautiful cherry blossom cake.
This cake consists of a peach cream and a cherry cream on the inside.
In this video I won't show you how I made the cake, but how to put the cake together and how to decorate it.
Of course you can find all the ingredients on my blog and the recipe to read through
And now we start with the decorations and therefore we need:
For the blossoms: Dark pink gum paste
light pink gum paste
white gum paste
yellow gum paste
small blossom punch big blossom punch
First I will roll out the gum paste very thinly.
Flour your working surface with some baking starch and roll out the gum paste thinly.
This way the paste won't stick to the surface.
Then stamp out blossoms in different sizes and colours.
Afterwards put the blossoms on a foam pad and roll out the petals with a balltool.
Press a small hollow into the middle of the blossom with a small balltool to create a natural shape.
Now colour the middle of the blossom with powder or paste colouring.
For the flower pistils take yellow gum paste and form little balls.
Stick them into the middle of the blossom with some sugar glue.
Let all the blossoms dry.
Now we will put the cake together.
I already prepared everything and will now show you what you need:
2 sponge cake bases with a diameter of 22cm and 16cm
Peach cream
cherry cream
ganache
peach jam
cherry jam
You can find all of the ingredients on my blog.
First I will cut the cake bases two times horizontally.
Now coat some ganache on a kappa plate and put the first cake base on top.
Put some peach cream on it, smoothen it out and add the peach jam on top.
Then again add some peach cream and smoothen it out.
Put the second cake base on top.
Repeat the process until all of the cake bases and jams are used.
Now put the cake into the fridge for approx. 2hours.
In the meantime I put the small cake base with some ganache onto the kappa plate and will coat the base with cherry cream.
Add the cherry cream on top and smoothen it out
Put the jam on top
Then add another layer of the cherry cream and smoothen it out again.
Then put the second cake base on top.
Repeat the process until all of the cake bases are used.
Now also put this cake into the fridge for approx. 2hours.
After the cakes are cooled down, coat them with ganache.
Now put the cake into the fridge for another 2 hours.
When everything is prepared, I will cover the cakes with white fondant.
When the two cakes are covered with fondant, colour them with paste colouring.
To create an ombre effect start with the darkest colour and get lighter the higher you go up.
Therefore I used purple paste colouring, then red-pink paste colouring and light pink powder colouring.
I will continuesly mix it with some water.
When I'm ready with the first cake, I will put the second cake on top of the first one
Put some cakepop sticks into the cake to stabilize the first cake!
Now colour the upper cake in an ombre effect.
Next I will model the tree trunk and branches and therefore we need:
Brown modelling clay
Form the tree trunk and branches and let them dry for a bit.
When the tree trunk and branches dried for a while, glue them onto the cake with sugar glue.
Now decorate the cake with the small and bigger blossoms.
And now you have a beautiful cherry blossom cake.
I hope you enjoyed this video and until next time!

🔴How to handle stress at work - Part 1 - Duration: 9:18.Tom, don't let anybody kid you.
It's all personal, every bit of business.
Every piece of shit every man has to eat every day of his life is personal.
They call it business.
OK.
But it's personal as hell.
You guessed it right... these lines are from Mario Puzo's iconic novel "The Godfather".
Love the novel and love the movie.
In case you are wondering... what?? … did I read the topic correctly??
I thought it was on How to handle stress at work??
Yes, you thought correctly, this video is on how to handle stress at work.
I will share the connection with the dialogue in a minute.
Hi, I am Ruchi Singh from RuchiSinghTalks.
Master the mindset and become the master of your life.
Please subscribe if you haven't already.
Let's jump into it.
A lot of people asked me especially because of my more than a decade of HR experience
to make a video on "How to handle stress at work".
So, here it is.
Stress at work is such a prevalent issue that to do justice to it, I have broken it down
into three parts.
In this video, I will share the top three characteristics of stress and why it is critical
to understand it before we can move on to handling/managing stress.
In my next video I will share Top 7 reasons of stress at work and share tips and techniques
to handle these specific situations.
In my third video, I will share Tips and technique which help in handling overall stress.
Because, no one in the world can give techniques which can prepare us for every single challenge
which comes our way.
That's why it is important that we make ourselves mentally strong enough to handle
any challenges in future…
Also, I will share a bonus free gift in my third video.
So, what is stress?
Stress is our inability to manage our body, mind, and emotions.
I will repeat…
Stress is our inability to manage our body, mind, and emotions.
If we feel that there is a situation which is not in our control but it impacts us, we
feel stressed.
First thing, I want to say based on my own personal experience as a working woman, also
as an HR professional with years of handling teams and interaction with other employees…
It is always personal in the mind of the person and that's why it's stressful.
That's the reason why I began with the Godfather quote…
It's always personal.
We only get stressed if we identify with a situation, when we feel it impacts us.
Take a moment and think about it.
If you pick up the newspaper ... it's filled with terrible things happening all over the
world…do we get stressed about everything?
50 people killed in bombing in some part of the world... massive landslid somewhere…
we do feel bad but just for a moment . But if there is a negative article about our favourite
team or movie star or political party, boy oh boy..what happens... we get angry (It's
like..Seriously, what is this journalist talking about, I am sure it has been planted by the
rivals, you really can't trust these newspapers anymore).
Why does this happen?
Because we take it personally.
Let's be honest… how many of us unless we are CEO of a company get really stressed
about the bottom line of our company, geopolitical uncertainty and its impact on the company.
Infact, If you said something like "I am having sleepless nights about the erosion
of the market value of our company."
Chances are the other person will be thinking...cuckoo.
He will be like "dude are you alright, why don't you take a break" Why don't we get
stressed about these issues??
Because it doesn't really impact us personally.
But, but if there is a colleague who is suddenly spending more time with the boss… then we
are stressed…
We are filled with all sorts of insecurity… hmmm what's happening, what is he or she
upto... suddenly we find a lot of reasons why from the very beginning we had not liked
that person.
"you know what, I always felt that Mr X is a sneaky slimy guy."
Other team mates will be also like...You are right…
I thought so too.
We decide, even though we are not aware of it, but we decide which situation, which person,
which factor will stress us.
And being aware of this is critical in handling, managing stress.
These are our trigger points.
I have personally seen a friend have a melt down of sorts over a chipped nail.
I have also seen being an army officer's daughter, situations where the army officers
have calmly gone to situations where threat to their life is real, very very real.
Why am I spending time on this particular point?
Human beings are unpredictable, sometimes even we don't know how we will respond in
a given situation.
So, even if I cover say 10 top reasons of stress at work… there is no guarantee that
in future we will face the same set of challenges or other people will react in the same way
as the people who currently are causing us stress do.
So, what do we do??
We first understand the nature of stress.
I will repeat the top three characteristics of stress and I want you to see if you can
spot one thing common in all the three points?
Stress is our (emphasis on our) inability (perceived or real) to manage our body, mind,
and emotions.
We get stressed only when we personally identify with a situation, issue, person
We decide, even though we may not be aware of it, but we decide which situation, which
person, which factor will stress us.
What is stressful to one person may not be stressful at all for someone else.
Could you spot the common factor??
The common factor is we..
You, I . We decide even if its unknowingly, that a particular situation is stressful.
stress is what we do to ourselves... it's not external.
And it is a good thing because that means we are not helpless.
It gives us the power to decide, power to choose our response to a situation or a person.
If there is one thing in our power, it's our control over ourselves.
I would have been worried if it was dependent on external factors or other people because
then its beyond our control.
Changing our own mindset is a massive task.
Can you imagine we had to try and change someone else's mind set.
A situation can be difficult, tough, challenging but we decide whether to turn that to stress
or a massive learning opportunity.
we can create massive changes in our mindset which in turn impacts our responses.
So, the good news is that we have the power to decide what stresses us and what doesn't.
How do we do that?
We train our mind.
We train like a top sports person does.
They do long, tough hours of practice persistently day after day, month after month so that when
they are actually playing, it seems effortless and they can handle anything which comes their
way.
"I start early and I stay late, day after day, year after year, it took me 17 years
and 114 days to become an overnight success."

Why Kids Act Out "On Purpose" (And What You Can Do About It!) | Parenting A to Z - Duration: 13:38.Hey hey, my friend! Welcome to Parenting A to Z! I'm Kelly Bourne and this week we're
diving right into revenge. And revenge, I know it's kind of a crazy sounding word,
it sounds really heavy and sort of ominous, but what I'm talking about
is those situations where you feel like your kids are acting out, they're saying
things and doing things on purpose. They're trying to stick it to you!
If you know what I mean?! I feel like every parent in the world will know what
I mean! So if you find yourself dealing with that kind of behaviour, stick with me,
we're gonna talk about why they can act out on purpose in those ways, and then
I've got some really practical tools on how you can deal and how you can turn
that whole deal right around! Comin' right up!
So what is revenge?
What are these revenge "misbehaviours" that I'm talking about?
I am talking about when you send your kids to their room and they trash it on
purpose. Or when they purposely break a plate, or when they purposely pull
flowers out of the garden, or they -- anytime you feel like they're doing
something on purpose to stick it to you. Like they're trying to
send you a message. That's what I'm talking about. So it could be
noticing escalating behaviour, it could be damaging property, it could be hurting
others, it really could show up in a whole different different variety
of ways, depending on your child your relationship, and just and just how
things are, and how they're seeing things. Because that's really what
it comes down to. And I'll touch on that briefly in a little bit, but first I want
to talk about how you can tell if you're dealing with this kind of behaviour. So if
you find yourself being really shocked, or disgusted, or really disturbed, or
really hurt, like if you're finding yourselves feeling really hurt like, how
could they do that?! That's a really good indication that you
could be dealing with revenge type of misbehaviours. The other way to tell,
this is probably for me, personally at least, the best way that I
can tell if I'm falling into this revenge cycle,
is in how I respond to my kids. So if I find myself being tempted
to respond with retaliation, to kind of up the ante, like oh you're gonna do that?!
Well I'm gonna show you who's boss! That is an excellent excellent
trigger for me, red alarm bells, like okay, hold it! Pump the brakes, Kelly!
This is what we're dealing with here. So anytime I'm thinking about
retaliation, or I'm gonna like, up the punishments, or I'm gonna
lecture them, or nag them into next week and show them who's boss, that is a
really good indication that I'm dealing with a revenge type of behaviour. And the
thing, I know revenge it's such a, I even feel weird saying it, it's such a crazy
harsh sounding word, but really what it really just means is that they're trying
to get back. They're trying to get back at us. And underlying so much of
that is a feeling of hurt. And that's the other big thing, when it comes to revenge
behaviours, is I feel like we can get really distracted by the outward display.
Whether it is them mouthing off, or being sassy, or damaging property, or being mean
to their brother, we can get so focused on that, that we can forget that the
underlying reason of why they're doing that is because they're feeling hurt or
they're feeling left out. So it's so important not to get distracted with the
outward behaviour and start to look at the underlying reasons as to why they're
doing this. Why are they acting out in this way, and why now? And really getting
curious about that. And that is the secret sauce right there, to turning things
around. Because it is never about pulling up the flowers, and it is never about
smashing the plate on purpose. It's always hitting at that underlying reason
why. That's where you'll start to see the behaviour change. And of course, you know
me! I'm so big on the "why" and when it comes to revenge-type behaviours, those
" I'm gonna stick it to mom and dad" kind of behaviours, "I'm gonna get back at
them," there's three really big reasons why our kids do that. Of course,
I don't want to paint with too wide of a brush, but just to give you
an idea, and to kind of start thinking and reframing this behaviour so you can
see what's really going on and what is actually really bothering your kids.
So the first really big reason our kids can act in this way is punishment. If our
kids have been punished and punished and punished and punished and punished and
punished into next week, any time they make a mistake or act out, it starts to
feed that cycle. They start to get the message that we're trying to make them
pay. And lots of times, heck! - let's be
honest! When we punish our kids that's what we're trying to do! We're
trying to make them pay for what they did. It's like somehow we think that if
we make them feel worse they'll somehow act better. And the big
reason why punishment is so ineffective and why punishment, whether it's threats,
or nagging, or bribing, or removing privileges, or all of the ways that we
can punish our kids when they act out, the reason it's so ineffective,
especially when it comes to these revenge-type behaviours is that it just
reinforces the message that "they're out to get me."
Because what do our kids do? Of course, we as parents, we think that, okay we're
gonna punish our kids and then they're gonna get it, and they're never gonna do
that again. But what happens from our kids' perspective? Instead of
them thinking about what they did, or what they could do differently next time,
or where they maybe could improve things, they're not thinking about any of that!
They're just thinking about how mean you are! So it's just like this
never-ending cycle. So punishment is right up there, one of the number one
reasons why our kids can act out in revenge. And then there's two other
reasons - one is constantly losing power struggles. If our kids feel like they're
always losing power struggles and we're always coming out on top as far as
those times we're locking heads, again, it could be with our younger kids
putting on boots, putting on coats, all those day-to-day struggles.
With our older kids, it could be us always putting our foot down, or never
allowing them to see their friends, or it could be anything! But from their
perspective, always losing power struggles, it gets really
defeating. You can just kind of feel like, "Oh man!
Well, if I'm not gonna win at this, I'm gonna win at THIS! I'm gonna
show them!" And that's where the revenge behaviours can come in. Third one is
sibling favouritism. So of course, we wouldn't do it intentionally, but
sometimes our kids can feel like one of their siblings is favoured and that can
be really hurtful, and that can be a really big source of these
types of behaviors that we see. So I say that not to like, guilt anyone, cuz
like, guys! I'm in the same boat with you! I am in the same boat with you.
But I feel like having an awareness of knowing that punishment, and our kids
losing power struggles, and our kids feeling like other siblings are favoured,
those are the root reasons for some of these misbehaviours
that we're seeing. So if we can have this awareness, it can cause us to kind of
step back before it gets to that point of their behaviours escalating. Those are
the three big reasons why they do it. I think it's important to to look at how
we can deal practically when we're faced with these situations. Right at the top
of the list, is acknowledging their hurt feelings. And trust me guys! I know this
can be like the absolute last thing you feel like doing when you feel like your
kids are breaking stuff, or being rude, or acting out on purpose. It's like the
absolute last thing you feel like doing, but it is the only way to start building
that connection and building that sense of trust back up, is to acknowledge where
they're at and that they might be hurting. Saying like, I'll say it
to my kids sometimes - "You must be really upset with me to talk to me like
that." or "did I do something to upset you? Because that's
not like you." Just recognizing and kind of throwing them a bone that I know this
isn't who they are. And asking what's bothering them, asking them what's up.
Just recognizing that something's going on. And coupled right closely
with that, is avoiding the punishment and the retaliation. Because like I said
earlier, that's only feeding the cycle. I know we think we're showing them who's
boss, but if we keep upping the ante they're gonna keep upping the ante. It's
up to us as the parents, as the adults, to break that cycle. To recognize what's
going on, and to take the hard step. I know it's funny how sometimes asking
for a hug can be taking the hard step when we feel like we need to be the ones
laying down the law, but recognizing that they're hurt, dealing with the hurt,
avoiding the punishment, and retaliation, that's how you will change
things. And you'll start to see a slow down tick in these behaviours. And I'm
also not sitting here, pretending that you do this, you start recognizing their
feelings, and avoid punishment and retaliation, that you're
gonna have a magical moment and your child will never act out in revenge
ever again. It's a process. It's absolutely a process for you and for
them. Changing how you communicate with each other. Not taking the bait of these
alarming behaviours. Because when you're
shocked, when you're feeling shocked at what your kids are doing, that's a really
good sign that you're you're in this revenge type cycle. So stopping that
cycle, reaching out for the hug, reaching out for connection, recognizing that your
kids are hurting, and then going from there. And another thing too, this one's
hard, this is a tough topic, so if you find yourself listening
in right now, and joining me right now and you're having a lot of conflicting
feelings, know that it's totally normal. It's really hard, because I
know for a lot of us, it's like we're trying these new strategies and these
new ways of relating with our kids that we actually have no experience with
ourselves. Because this isn't how a lot of us were raised. A lot of us
were raised that you do what you're told, when you're told, and that's kind of the
end of the story. So giving yourself permission to reach out to your
kids and connect with your kids and recognize that they're hurting and not
getting distracted by their outward "misbehaviours," it can be
hard. It can bring up a big internal struggle. So I'm right there
with you. I'm right there with you, if you find yourself having a hard time. And
especially with this next piece I want to touch on, is the importance of making
amends. And that means us apologizing for our part in the hurt. It's hard, it's hard
admitting it. It's really hard admitting it if we've said something or we've done
something, because we can react out of anger. We can retaliate out
of anger, we can we can act out because we're feeling stressed about something
that's going on at work, or something where we feel like we're
short in another area of our lives and then our kids are suddenly taking the
brunt of our impatience. When we can be strong enough to make those amends,
that sends a huge message to our kids that we're on the same side. We don't
ever mean to hurt them, and that we are willing to do what it takes to build
that bridge of connection again. And then it also shows them a
powerful example that when they mess up, when they make mistakes, when they maybe
act out of stress or anxiety, doing and saying things that they don't mean, that
they can apologize. That they can reach out and mom and dad are only ever
a hug away. And that we're not gonna build up that wall, that
we're gonna bring them in towards us. So making amends is also a huge huge piece
of this. So really, at the end of the day, like I said, I'm not trying to pretend
that watching this video is gonna be a cure-all for all your defiant
disobedient behaviours that you're dealing with, but I hope that it sets off
a mindset shift, that instead of being distracted by your kids' outward behaviour
as being something that you need to control, or you need to fix, see it
instead as your child is hurting. Your child is trying to reach out. Your child
is stressed. Your child is anxious. And this behaviour is their way of showing
you that they need you, and that they need help. They just don't have the words
to tell you rationally. Heck, just think of in your own life when
you're feeling really upset, really stressed, really anxious, really hurt, if
you're conducting yourself with your full rational mind. Being very calm
in all your interactions. I know for me, heck no! The answer is no! That's when I
have a really short fuse and I can do and say things that I don't mean. And
it's no different for our kids. So I hope this sparks a
mindset shift for you, to just kind of dig a little bit deeper, to chase the why --
why are they behaving in this way? And why now? What's going on? How are they
hurting? Instead of being distracted by the
outward behaviour. Of course, if you have any
questions or comments, leave them below. I know it can be tricky. It's an ongoing
process, dealing with these types of behaviours, so if you want more in-depth
resources and support, make sure to check us out in the Parent 'Hood. I also host
weekly office hours where you can hop on and talk to me directly
one-on-one about your issue and give you some specific strategies for what you're
dealing with. So I really hope that helps guys! I wish you so much luck as you're
dealing with these tricky behaviours. I hope that mindset shift changes things,
changes your perspective on your kids' behaviour
and opens that door to finding some solutions and finding the root of what's
causing that misbehaviour. So best of luck! I'll see you in the next vid and
let me know how it goes!
