I suppose what inspired my piece was more of a culmination of everything very
well I have multiple pieces in my concert but it's more of a culmination of
things I've learned from writing all of the pieces that never felt quite right.
I feel like music, my music, especially in this concert is very much about specific
sounds and places that I just wanted to preserve
in that sort of composed infinite setting.
I think mine is similar in that it's
inspired by everything I've done but it's more overt, it's more deliberately
trying to take everything and mash into this one great big monster of a piece.
Personally I'm excited to conduct so much. Because I'm doing my own concert
but also conducting two other bits in other concerts so that's going to be a lot of
fun. I get to do something that isn't just writing.
What people can expect from the performances
of my pieces, I think there's gonna be a bit of nostalgia, I find my
own music a bit nostalgic, so maybe I would hope that people go away thinking
about their lives. There's a string quartet which is 15 minutes long that's
called 'When the sky is full of clouds and the ground is wet with rain' and then
there's a large ensemble piece called 'Still and Still Moving' which is a string
quartet on one side of the stage and a string quartet on the other side of the stage and then
percussion, saxophone, double bass, piano, harp, flute and then two flutes on either end,
sort of doing this big thing.
Connor's is very, you can relax and find yourself in
the music. My music will beat you up and steal your lunch money. It's very in your
face, full of, it's so much energy it could power the states of New York.
It's intense to say the least.

You will often notice those who have the loudest and most talkative voices.
In doing this, we will indirectly underestimate the calm power of the quiet one.
The problem is, that in our society today, we are most concerned about those who make
the most votes.
And this is a mistake.
By doing this, we lose great ideas and quiet insights in this situation.
You see, quiet people are people who are filled with great ideas and listen to everything
that happens around them.
Although there is nothing wrong with being an extrovert, there are some disadvantages.
Introverts or quiet people who like to stick to themselves are often misunderstood.
In this video, you will find a list of reasons why you should not mess with a quiet person.
While you may see them as easy targets to bully or persecute them not as they seem.
If you make a quiet person, you may be in a wounded world.
#1 - Tranquility does not equate with weakness - so do not mess with them
A quiet person will speak out against any error, or injustice.

Quiet people are often slow to defend themselves, but once they are pushed too far, they can
react with amazing power.
They also quickly support the more vulnerable group members.

In their unobtrusive ways, they develop close relationships built on trust and mutual respect.
And when they are with the company they enjoy, they can become the soul and body of the place.
#4 - The quietest person listens to many things and probably knows more than anyone else suspected.
The reason for silent people is because they listen.
They listen carefully and think deeply so you can be sure that when they finally speak,
they have something extraordinary to say.
Louder people should not assume that quiet people lack knowledge or intelligence than
they do.
#5 - The quiet people observe and capture more than others.
It's very difficult to fool a quiet person.
They listen and watch all that goes with care.
They also capture more than spoken words.
They are people who calmly focus on behavior and body language as well.
This means they can easily see unauthentic behavior and lies and fraud.

They will not tolerate anything which is unjust.
#7 - Quiet people are not weaker just because they are not hard.
Just because someone is not obnoxious and loud, does not mean they will fall off when
you push them.
A quiet person can be strong when they need to.
You would be foolish to think otherwise.
#8 - A quiet person will not tolerate being treated badly.
Just because someone does not talk much, does not mean they will let you walk on them.
They will only take a lot before the fight.
In addition, if you treat someone bad simply because they are different, then there is
something wrong with you.
#9 - Quiet people are quiet.
Quiet people can get through life without being noticed.
They can do without you realizing they are even there.
If you really think about it, messing with a quiet person is a terrible idea.
#10 - They are more focused than extroverts:
They have a strong purpose but instead of talking about their dreams and wasting their
time, they are busy trying to achieve it.
They will start their own projects, sharing them with only a few people asked to complete
them.
Once done, the whole world knows about it.
This is a big surprise and their work is also unique.
#11 - Silence is a strength, not a weakness:
The quiet is the strongest in the group.
Since they do not reveal much about themselves, it becomes difficult to know their strengths
and weaknesses.
They are smart enough to hide their secrets and be the strongest.

every move on the day of the inter-Korean summit.

talks.
Our Kim Mok-yeon provides a closer look into at what could be observed at the Unification
Bridge.
It was a brief moment, but it left a lasting impression.
Numerous media outlets from South Korea and around the world flocked to the Unification
Bridge to capture the symbolic moment when the President of South Korea crossed the bridge
on his way to Panmunjom to meet his North Korean counterpart for the inter-Korean summit.
The Unification Bridge is the official land route that has connected the two Koreas for
the past two decades.
Many preparations have been made with the hope that the bridge can once again help re-connect
the divided peninsula, just as its name implies.
Even from a few days ahead of the summit, the bridge has been under high security, with
a total of some 2,500 security officials being deployed to guard the area.
Along the 900 meter bridge, a long line of South Korean flags dotted the side of the
road, and more than 1,500 unification flags have been installed along 3 kilometers of
the road at the southern end of the bridge.
"Now that official discussions have ended, most areas near the border are expected to
return to calm.
Although the route connecting the two Koreas remains closed for now, many hope that today's
talks between the two leaders can open the gateway for a brighter future together on

Hello Chess Friends, I am Jeetendra Advani.

Today's chess trick revolves around the Ruy Lopez opening.
So let's get straight into it.
The Ruy Lopez is a very popular opening and it starts with E4, E5.
Then Knight f3, knight c6 and then bishop b5.
White's main idea here is to capture the Knight and then take the e5 pawn.
After this, we continue with knight f6 to attack the e4 pawn.
This is called the Berlin Defense.
Now a very common move you will see from white would be to castle on the king's side.
Many of you might be wondering why would white castle.
He should instead save his pawn on e4.
But the point is that even if we capture, white can play rook to e1 to attack the knight
& once the knight goes back, white can easily go ahead and regain the pawn to equalise the
position.
That's the logic behind castling.
So let's go back.
Now after white castles, you will not capture on e4.
Instead you will play knight to G4.
A typical reaction from white would be to kick off this knight by playing pawn to h3.
But we are not going anywhere.
We are going to play pawn h5.
This is how we are setting up our trap.
If white tries to be greedy & captures the Knight, then he is in big trouble.
Let's see how.
So white captures and then we take the pawn.
By doing this, we are not only threatening this knight but we have also opened up this
beautiful line for our rook to attack the king.
Now if this knight runs away to either e1 or h2, then we can finish off this game in
4 moves.
We start with queen h4 threatening checkmate by playing queen to h2 or h1.
White is left with no option.
He will try to free up the f2 square so that he can run away when he gets a check.
So his most natural move would be pawn to f3 or f4.
But to his surprise, we have this amazing move, pawn to g3 which cuts away all his options
to escape.
And now, the only way to delay the checkmate is to sacrifice the queen but after queen
captures, White is left with no option and on the next move, queen h1 is checkmate.
Now let me go back & show you another cool variation.
From here, quite often you might see white playing rook to e1.
The intention is to support this undefended central pawn.
But you have an amazing trap here as well.
First, you bring out your bishop to c5, double attacking this pawn on f2 with your knight
and bishop.
Now a very common response from white would be to block off this diagonal with his pawn.
But after the following continuation, white will be in serious trouble.
So knight takes pawn.
Knight takes knight.
Now you can't take this knight with your bishop because then queen can take this knight and
you are down a piece.
So the trick here is to play this amazing move queen to h4.
As you can see, the queen & knight are attacking both f2 & h2.
Not to forget, this knight is also being attacked by both pawn & bishop.
So in this situation, a very common reply you will see from black would be knight f3,
saving the Knight and atleast defending the h2 square.
From here, we continue with queen f2 check.
Then king h1, that's the only move white can play.
And now, we play this stunning move - queen g1 check, sacrificing the queen.
Doesn't matter if white takes the queen with the rook or the knight because we have this
absolutely amazing move, knight to f2 and it's a beautiful smothered checkmate.

this is the predator's zone
all windows and doors must be tightly shut

where its elevated on a hill 1800 meters above sea level
the temperature is 15 to 24 degree's celsius
and surrounded area is similar
to pandas habitat back in China
before I see the cute pandas
I go through the educational center
and mini theater
this park has many shows that you can see
I choose one show today due to shortage of time

Welcome to 2 minute neuroscience, where I explain neuroscience topics in 2 minutes or
less.
In this installment I will discuss dopamine.
Dopamine is a monoamine neurotransmitter, a term that refers to its chemical structure
and the fact that it is derived from an amino acid.
Dopamine is also a catecholamine, a term that also refers to its chemical structure and
the fact that it contains a catechol nucleus.
To synthesize dopamine, the amino acid tyrosine is converted to L-dopa.
Then L-DOPA is decarboxylated to form dopamine.
There are several areas of the brain where dopamine neurons are concentrated.
The largest are the substantia nigra and ventral tegmental area in the midbrain.
Other areas include the hypothalamus, olfactory bulb, and retina.
There are several major dopamine pathways that carry dopamine from these areas of concentration
to other parts of the brain.
Some of the largest are the mesostriatal or nigrostriatal pathway, which stretches from
the substantia nigra to the striatum, the mesolimbic pathway, which stretches from the
ventral tegmental area to the nucleus accumbens and other limbic structures, and the mesocortical
pathway, which stretches from the ventral tegmental area throughout the cerebral cortex.
Dopamine acts at G-protein coupled receptors and there are at least 5 subtypes of the dopamine
receptor.
Dopamine is removed from the synaptic cleft by a transporter protein called the dopamine
transporter.
Like any neurotransmitter, the functions of dopamine are complex, and can't be fully
explained with just a short summary.
Dopamine is linked to movement due to disorders like Parkinson's disease that involve dopamine
deficiencies.
It is also often associated with the processing of rewarding experiences.
However, dopamine also plays a role in many other functions.

5 Freestyle drills to help you swim smooth - Duration: 2:17.
Even if you are an elite swimmer, you can always benefit from doing drills, that is
because your stroke will never be perfect.
Having said that, there are some common mistakes that most of us do during our freestyle technique.
So we will go over some drills to fix them.
Finger tip drag
This drill will help you keep a high elbow when you recover the arm.
This will also help you feel the water and give you immediate feedback as to where your
hand is entering the water.
You should also keep a relaxed wrist and fingers to save up energy.
This high elbow recovery is the most effective way to carry your arm back in front.
3 strokes and glide
Gliding is an important part of the stroke, specially in distances over a 100.
Doing 3 strokes and gliding for about 6 kicks will help you improve your gliding position.
Notice the position of your hands and head and adjust if they causing frontal drag.
Glide rotate glide
Some of us don't rotate enough.
This goes hand in hand with the gliding.
You need a good rotation in order to glide and to grab more water with each stroke.
So practice gliding and rotating your shoulders, then come back and rotate again before taking
your next stroke.
Underwater recovery
This will help you feel the frontal drag.
It will help your body understand the importance of the pull.
Try to optimize your pull by grabbing all the water you can while reducing the frontal
drag of your other arm by positioning your hand to be always pointing to the front.
Sculling High elbow
To pull water backwards from the beginning of your stroke, you must have a high elbow
on the first part of the stroke.
So try sculling three times and not moving your elbow.
Just use your forearm and hands.
Then do a normal stroke to change arms.

The talk show host continued to slam Yeezy, admitting that she believes he has mental
health issues after his latest Twitter rants endorsing President Donald Trump.
Before Kanye, Wendy had made Kylie Jenner the center of her roasts during the Hot Topics
segment of her daytime talk show, which is why Kris has had it.
Just recently, Wendy claimed Kylie's too young to be a mother, on top of her constant
comments that Travis Scott is going to leave her and their child, Stormi Webster.
Wow, this whole thing is a mess guys.
One thing I know for sure is that if you come for the Kardashians, they will drag your name
through the mud.
