NEW Technique for HAIRS | 2018 - Duration: 12:04.
hey artists & Art lovers Welcome back in another episode I hope you are fine and
doing well so today's your lucky day because today I'm going to reveal a
secret and most sought after technique of my art career you may have seen a lot
of pictures and stories on my Instagram about sharp white hairs and stuff like
that actually my goal was to share the
technique after achieving a milestone of approximately 10k subscribers but I was
unable to record the video due to some technical and personal reasons
so today I've recorded the complete tutorial along with different uses of this
technique, do's and don'ts and much more
so fasten your seat-belts and let's get started
so basically I was unaware of this technique because you know I'm a
self-taught artist
but once upon a time
I was erasing some pencil marks using a
mono zero eraser
and I was rubbing it too hard against the paper while using my phone
the metal portion of the eraser started sketching the paper
i didn't noticed it at first but when I started shading the area with a darker pencil I
noticed some sharp white lines on the paper and I was surprised to see these
lines clearly visible even from a larger distance
I started playing with the
technique so many ideas popped in my head about the use of this technique but
the first one was drawing some white hairs
I grabbed a thin printing paper
and started indenting it
wait, WHAT ??
there are no white lines here
I can't see a single line here
oh I got it you can't use it on a thin paper you need a
hard and smooth paper for this technique and I was using this hard white chart
then those lines appear for the first time which means it can only be applied
on a hard white chart, cartridge paper or any other hard sheet available in the market
so after trying again on a hard paper the first thing I notice is you
can't move this eraser in forward or backward direction because of its round
and cylindrical shape
so I tried using a knife instead of mono zero eraser and
deserts were even better but I was not satisfied with it
so after surfing the internet for an hour or two I found the name of this
technique and it's called pencil indenting technique and the tool used
for this technique was called indenting stylus
and as you know I am a DIY type
of person so I tried making this indenting stylus on my own
and this is what I end with with!
and my next tutorial will definitely will be on this DIY
stylus so keep an eye on that
anyways as you can see here it has two types of
pointy ends for different purposes like this round and pointy and can be used
for textures highlights and etc and this cylindrical edgy end
can be used for individual hairs braids and things like that but don't worry
about the stylist if you don't have this indenting stylist yet you can use an
empty pen or a knife as an alternative
if you are a nerdy student you should
have an empty pen in your bag or else you can grab an extra pen pump out the ink
and start writing the names of your dislikers and haters

okay let's test this out on a hard sheet

can see here I drew all these hyper realistic white hairs in the mustache
and eyebrows using the same pencil indenting technique and now I'm going to
show you the complete process of how I drew these individual white hairs in a
simple and two-step method
first of all you have to draw a rough outline or
reference lines for white hairs
now take your indenting stylus or an empty pen
and start indenting these white lines using this random hatching technique
you can just follow the reference photo of your choice
now take your 9b pencil or whatever darkest shade you have and start shading
the area
you will notice the lines appearing in a magical way
and now you just have to blend the starting and ending points of the hairs
to make them look more realistic just increase the pressure on the pencil and
start shading the hairs
and here you go
so I hope you got the idea of how I drew these white hairs in
this record winning artwork I used the same technique for mustache so you can
try it yourself
okay the second most important use of this technique is in braids, buns and head
hairs so basically I recorded these short clips just to show you different
uses of the pencil indenting technique and I will soon upload a complete
tutorial and how I draw hyper-realistic hairs breads using this same pencil
indenting technique so don't worry about that
just enjoy the awesomeness of this technique right now
I'm gonna indent
this one with this cylindrical side and I will surely explain the reason in the tutorial
video so keep an eye on that
and here you go your hyper-realistic braid is ready
now the third minor but
most important use of this technique is that you can add any type of fabric
texture in your sketches just like I'm adding this thread or stitches texture
on a jeans pant
you can even blend the ends of each stitch thread or whatever this is to
make it look more realistic
okay now the fourth one is my personal favorite because I've used it in so many
artworks and custom orders
you can indent your logo or signature in the corner of
the paper to preserve your copyrights and stuff
yeah looks cool right!!!
now the fifth one is adding some sharp and tiny white dots in your sketches
I've used this technique in the chin portion of this old man's portrait and
more importantly this is really an easy and effective way to add white dots even
in comparison with the tombow mono whitener or a white gel pen

Today's video is November's Worth it or Not Review!
I want to thank you guys for loving this review and I promise to review more products in the future.
A lot of products unique in design and function have been released in November.
Before starting, I have 21 warm tone skin, and my skin is combination & sensitive type.
This review includes personal opinion and I do not represent any brands.
Now, let's get started!
The first product of November is Bbia's Last Lip Mousse 3.
It's sold at 10,000 won ($10).
It has received a lot of attention for the shades' unique names.
All 5 shades have retro-like color and are yellowish.
It has velvet-like texture but it does make your lips look flaky.
The product kind of gets lumpy but if you smoothly blend out the product, it's okay.
As you can see, the colors are quite yellowish so cool tone skin will find it hard to use this product.
Some shade resembles soy bean paste and another shade resembles bean paste.
#15 stands out the most because it has a calm red tone so I think it fits well any kind of makeup.
I liked #15 the most.
The color was not too bright for me and gave a calm, but luxurious look.
Unlike other velvet lip tint collections, it does not tint the lip.
Even though I applied the product several times, it kept on blotting out.
So you have to apply the product several times a day or after you have eaten something.
I also used #15 today and a lot of people told me that the color fit well with fall and winter.
I'll give a CAN DO BETTER for this product.
I received a lot of review requests for this next product and it is still receiving a lot of attention on the Internet.
It's ESPOIR's Taping Concealer Foundation and Skin Glow Water.
The foundation is 29,000 won ($29) and the skin glow water is 20,000 won ($20).
I expected high coverage for the foundation.
The fact that Skin Glow Water was released implied that this product is fit for customizing your own base makeup.
ESPOIR actually recommends using the two products together.
The foundation itself is quite matte and has a rich texture.
I recommend using a soaked blender because the foundation got lumpy when I used a dry blender to apply it.
But still, it was dry for me and the product didn't show adhesiveness and only got stuck on my pores.
I applied combination of the skin glow water and foundation on the other side of my face.
It showed much smoother and better application than applying the foundation alone.
However, it still applied thickly so I could feel oil rather than moisture on my face.
Also, my skin didn't feel hydrated after about 30 minutes.
Whenever I moved my face muscles, I could see the stuck foundation on my pores.
I checked the consistency without using powder after 6 hours.
Because it was dry for me, although my face didn't crack, I could see sebum coming out from my pores.
The sebum on my nose especially stood out.
This product sticks to your face very well and has high coverage when you apply it.
It's important for matte foundation to prevent oily skin, but this product makes your skin dry but oily at the same time.
So I found it hard to recommend this product even to oily skin type.
Most importantly, my skin didn't feel comfortable when I used this product.
My skin felt heavy as if I was wearing a mask.
I couldn't find myself wanting to use these products.
I'll give a NOT WORTHY to these two products.
The next two products are two different cushion foundation of similar design.
So I decided to compare them with each other.
The first cushion foundation is JUNG SAEM MOOL's Cushion-Cealer Foundation and the second one is ESTEE LAUDER's Futurist Aqua Brilliance Custom Radiance Cushion.
It really has a long name..
As you can see, the product consists of moisturizing cushion and concealer with quite high coverage.
The cushion first feels hydrating, but it naturally has a semi-matte finish.
The cushion had much coverage than I had expected so be careful or it may be applied thickly.
I recommend using the concealer first then the cushion foundation as it increased the adhesiveness of the makeup.
I used ESTEE LAUDER's cushion on the other side of my face.
I used the color #Cool Porcelaine and it had lower coverage than JUNG SAEM MOOL's cushion.
But it has a matte finish and is applied lightly when compared to JUNG SAEM MOOL's product.
The primer balm increases the adhesiveness and coverage of the foundation.
Apply the balm on certain areas of your face and you'll be able to experience its effect.
The interesting fact is JUNG SAEM MOOL's cushion makes your skin glow because it's moisturizing while it seems like ESTEE LAUDER's product itself creates the glow.
Please keep in mind that they show different glow when applied to the face.
I checked their consistency without using powder after 6 hours.
JUNG SAEM MOOL's cushion maintained its moisturizing texture, but showed great consistency.
However, I could experience darkening.
The color I used which was #Pink Light was for 19-21 tone skin, but I though it would have been better if I purchased 1 tone brighter product.
ESTEE LAUDER's cushion also showed good consistency.
However, it made my pores stand out than JUNG SAEM MOOL's cushion.
Because it was more matte, it showed lower adhesiveness than JUNG SAEM MOOL's cushion.
It was as if powder highlighter got stuck in my pores.
I think both products were made well.
ESTEE LAUDER's cushion had a lot of advantages, but the price is quite expensive as it is 85,000 won ($85).
Also, it's quite dry when you apply it.
So keep in mind that it's quite different from the Futurist Foundation.
I'll give a WORTHY to JUNG SAEM MOOL's cushion and a CAN DO BETTER to ESTEE LAUDER's cushion.
The last product of November is LUSH's foundation.
It has no packaging as LUSH promotes plastic-free.
This foundation is plastic-free, does not contain any animal related ingredients, and has not undergone animal testing.
The product is advertised as containing 40% coconut oil.
After seeing this ad, a friend of mine said if applied, coconut oil might run down one's face.
I could notice that LUSH was not accustomed to beauty marketing and it was so cute and funny!
I first used foundation brush which increased the adhesiveness, but showed low coverage and just showed the unevenness of my skin.
As it minimized the ingredients to prevent irritating the face, it showed rugged texture.
Next, I applied the foundation on a soaked blender and then used it on my face.
The product was not that dry and gave a semi-matte finish.
The product did not crack and smoothly adhered to my face.
I was so surprised by the great adhesiveness and the smooth texture.
I checked the consistency without using powder after 6 hours.
Can you see the great consistency?
The texture is not dry, but also not oily.
My skin did not turn oily.
Because I have combination skin type, the foundation first felt powdery, but after 6 hours, it gave a natural glow to my face and I liked it!
This product also does not contain any harmful ingredients.
The only packaging of this product is this paper box so it's quite hard to carry it around.
But I think this inconvenience is nothing when compared to all the benefits this product has.
I definitely believe foundation like this should be more released to the foundation market, where a lot of foundation producers are producing foundation with almost no difference in ingredients.
I'll give a WORTHY to LUSH's Slap Stick Foundation!

Actually, teddy bear coats were the trend from last winter
If the jumper style teddy bear outers were the trend last year
Coats are hot this year
I chose this sample, because I wanted to wear it LOL
The details were so cute!

I really think importantly about hoods on outers
Because of the behind silhouette
The hood has to be bigger for a prettier fit
And don't you wear hoods often when it's cold?
That's why hood shapes are really important
After wearing this myself, I really liked it
The closure is like a rope!
This kind of detail can be seen often on duffle coats, and this makes this coat look cuter!
And the details on the sleeves are really sensitive
This can be opened
And since there are two buttons, you can adjust the width
Also, the color isn't one that gets easily dirty
There are pros on cons, though
The fur isn't inside the coat
So while it's comfortable to wear, it isn't that warm
But, since it's really wide inside
You can get layered warmly inside!
It's hard to tell even if you wear three or four layers of knits inside, since it's an overfit!
And this closure detail also has pros and cons
The pros are that it's cute and comfortable!
The cons are because of the rough rope
It can easily get loose, naturally
You have to consider these points (Just for when you get tugged! It doesn't get loose easily in normal life)
The length is just the long coat length that I like
It'll be cute for even tall people
That's why I highly recommend this item
Brand teddy bear coats are really expensive
But, since this is cheaper then them, it'll be an easy choice

Two types of dishes you could enjoy with wine
Two types of menu you could make easily
Chorizo dip and bagel chip
Bagel could be sliced into 0.5cm.
baked in an air fryer or toaster for 4-5 minutes in 180 degrees
Dice chorizo
and put cream cheese into diced chorizo
Put diced onion and Italian parsley
Mix with pepper, salt, and olive oil
and take out baked bagel chip and put it into a plate
Do plating with chorizo dip
Baked brie cheese
Put hole into pork and brie cheese.
Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes in the pre-heated oven
Spread baked nuts into a baked cheese.
Pour maple syrup
Put fruits you like
and eat them with white wine!
