What's going on family? I'm Shaun.
And y'know what? Today, I decided to do something a little bit different.
I decided to actually go into Seoul and look for some people that I could talk to.
But, y'see, here's the thing, though.
Usually when I do video interviews like this
It is very difficult to find, y'know, Koreans that I can speak with.
Because a lot of Koreans are shy as hell.
And they don't like to speak.
But I was able to find three people to talk to and ask them certain questions.
About things in Korea… about how they feel about certain things.
I hope you guys enjoy this video.
And stick around towards the end of it because I got more for you after this.
Maybe culture.
Culture between the old people and the young people.
There's a culture between old and young.
It is really important to [know how to] deal with people in a polite way.
They have to understand our shy personality
So many Koreans actually know how to speak in English but they're too shy
to, y'know, speak it?
That's why they don't approach you guys (foreigners) or don't answer you guys.
'It doesn't mean they're mean,
they're just too shy.
They don't want to [show that] their English is not good.
That's it.
Well, you can have fun.
Like, the whole night.
If you want to.
Because a lot of restaurants or pubs [are open] 24/7
It's good to have a lot of cash with you.
Different culture.
I can practice English and [be more] open minded
They're very straight forward.
Not like Koreans doing a lot of tug of war.
Like chatting psychology things.
I don't know how to put that.
Of course different culture.
I think communication manner is important.
It means language problems [gives] me trouble.
So I think communication is really important with couples.
Too open minded.
They don't take things serious.
For example, I don't know We take time, y'know?
Like kissing and things.
But they don't take time.
They were very straight forward about sexual activity.
One day I didn't want to do you know…
My ex...my ex...
Uhh... foreign girlfriend
was kind of...
On fire
kinda every weekend
Pizza
Shrimp (toppings)
Sushi
and indian curry
Quesadilla!
Quesadilla with cheap sour cream!
I love it.
I love Korea because we have delicious food.
Organized, clean, safe.
It's very convenient to live.
You don't have to pay much money for, like, transportation or
buying some food.
Maybe the participation of the people in politics.
We can change the society any way we want.
Changing interior too often.
Each food place or each...
even the house hold.
They're buying new things too often.
They don't use furniture for a long time.
They get a new one every five years or something.
That's wasteful.
They don't... they don't have cash.
They (unintelligible) too much.
They really need to care
about welfare.
There are
There are a lot of gaps between
high status person
economically
I think they need to care about that.
-Marriage -(why)
I want to have my own family
Shaun: How many kids do you want?
-How many years? -How many kids?
At least two.
To have a baby boy
My dream is..
This is kind of religious…
People in the world
believe in God.
-Sure -Why?
Even [though] i'm a man
I think it's unfair between male and female
Shaun: in Korea?
Yeah
Shaun: What's one example?
In the office, the work place
The promotion
In terms of promotions
Most of the guys have opportunity to get an advance
Yes. -Why is it necessary?
Because we have major discrimination
When it comes to wage
The income they're earning
I read an article that said
There's a 64% wage difference
That's a huge deal
Even though we work as hard.
Even though we're taking the responsibility
We are getting less money
That's pretty sad
Maybe some parts
But I think feminism in Korea is kind of
Getting too much, I think
Especially like two years ago
There was a
murder/accident thing that happened.
A man just stabbed a girl [from the back] without any reason
And because of that
I mean since then
girls and men hate each other
There have been a lot of haters in that field
Because of too much feminism in Korea right now
I think it needs to be calmed down a bit
Men and women should love each other
All right family, thank you so very much for watching this
I hope you enjoyed watching this
If you liked (or hated) what they had to say, leave a comment down below
If there's any questions you ever want to ask Koreans
What I want you to do is ask them right below in the comments section
If it's a good question and I can find anybody that I can talk to and ask about it
I'm going to go up there and do it
Just for you guys, all right?
If you liked this, like subscribe and comment
Y'know, do the whole thing
Take care of yourself, peace & love and i'll see y'all next time
