had to go to the London Make Up School, I had to accompany my girlfriend, the appointment
was at 11.30, but I accidentally placed the address in Google Maps incorrectly and we arrived
at the end of the line instead of the appointment.

political games they waited until the last minute they've made this a huge
public circus and frankly hurt two different families lives that they'll
never be able to be the same because of the way that they have operated this
process and I think it's disgusting that they've exploited these individuals and
their families for their own political purposes what was your take on Martha's
interview last night and what went into the decision to do that interview
because this whole process been unique that was a very tough decision I imagine
from communications I think it we've been very clear from the beginning judge
Kavanagh has wanted to come out and tell his story I'm telling you as far as I
mean he said it in every letter every exchange every statement that he is
willing and ready to come and answer questions hard questions uncomfortable
questions because he's been very consistent from day one and unequivocal
in his denial that anything ever took place
and so I I find it to be a good platform that he was able to come out and to
share his side of the story because as far as I can tell and as far as I
remember in America you're so innocent until proven guilty but the Democrats
have been calling him guilty from day one before they ever even talked to the
him oh he died they set through hours of hearing never brought it up never talked
to him in private meetings and waited until the last
minute to start throwing out some outrageous allegations that have no
corroboration which is I find really terrible you know a lot of people find
the time in curious we do want our viewers to be able to hear what judge
Cavanaugh had to say denying the accusations talking to Martha McCallum
on the story in America we have fairness we hear from both sides a fair process
at a minimum and a bare minimum requires hearing from both sides before rushing
to judgment people might have had too many beers on occasion and people
generally in high school I think all of us have probably done things we look
back on in high school and regret or cringe a bit but I that's not what we're
talking about we're talking about an allegation of sexual assault I've never
sexually assaulted anyone I've always treated women with dignity and respect
listen to the people who've known me best through my whole life the women
who've known me since high school the 65 who overnight signed a letter from high
school saying I always treated them with dignity and respect Washington Post says
that the president called mr. Cavanaugh yesterday to wish him good luck on that
Washington Post also says that the president has been frustrated with the
pace at which this has been progressing in the Senate on the Republican side and
he says that Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell according the Washington Post
had been too accommodating said the Republicans have been too
easily manipulated by the Democrats and he's sick of Ford's attorneys getting
their way and does not believe that the accusations are credible well you know I
like to not use the Washington Post as my source but but look the president
wants this process to come to a vote because that's what's supposed to happen
in every single one of these instances where someone is nominated they go
before they have a hearing and then the senators vote on it that's what's
supposed to happen and that's what the president expects to happen he's
nominated somebody senators had ample time to question him he's been willing
to come back and answer these new allegations that have been brought
forward and he wants a chance to be able to do that so that the
Senate can make a decision I do think it's unfair to continue to drag the
process out and continue to put good people through the wringer for the sake
of political games that the Democrats want to play White House press secretary
Sanders in the middle of all of this she joins us now here on GMA thank you for

what the Democrats have done and the way that they've turned this into a complete
political process except multiple lives have been ruined both both families have
been drug through the mud when they didn't have to be because Dianne
Feinstein's wanted to do should have could have done this in a much more
structured process and instead waited until the 11th hour and is playing
politically political games with people's lives
and I find that to be disgraceful and discussing and she certainly needs to
shoulder a lot of the blame for what's going on right you have both MS Ramirez
and dr. Flores saying there should be an FBI investigation if they thought they
weren't telling the truth they wouldn't be inviting an FBI investigation why is
it wrong to have an FBI investigation for something as important as a Supreme
Court nominee because we have a process in place they
have a Senate process and we think it should be done through that no one is
trying to hide from this in fact Brett Kavanaugh has been leaning in he's
been begging to come and tell his story and be able to do that whether it's
publicly or privately he's asked for that opportunity and he's been perfectly
open for others to have the opportunity to serve their side as well but let's be
clear from the very beginning he has been strong and unequivocal in his
denial that anything like this happened he also has a lifetime of a record of
empowering and respecting women and you've seen hundreds of women that know
know him well come out and say exactly that as some of them recant that as well
though but from the president from the very beginning has been questioning the
story of dr. Ford including that tweet last week saying that if she were
telling the truth she would have reported it to the authorities at the
time that drew a sharp response from senator Susan Collins I was appalled by
the president's tweet I thought that the president's tweet was completely
inappropriate and wrong what's your response
look the president once again has said on a number of occasions that he thinks
everybody's voices should be heard and let's let this process play out it's the
Democrats who have been halting it from the beginning and not allowing this to
go through the process because they want this to be a political game and I think
that the way that they have operated in this is absolutely appalling if anything
has been appalling it's the way that they have gone after and used these
people's stories in their lives it exploited them for political gain these
women have come forward and agreed to agree to go public in a private manner
and could have done so had Senator Dianne Feinstein allowed that to happen
and she didn't well actually she was respecting the confidentiality but I
you've said that everybody's voices should be heard so does the president
one mizramirez to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee as well
certainly we would be open to that and that process could take place on
Thursday again the president's been clear let them speak but let's also let
Brett Kavanaugh speak and let's let him tell his side of the story before we
allow allegations to determine his entire future it does seem though that
the president has already reached a judgment about their stories and there
does seem to be a pattern here when Roy Moore is accused from Bill O'Reilly is
accused when Roger Ailes is accused when Rob Porter is accused and now when Brett
Kavanaugh is accused the president consistently every single time takes the
side of the man you know it's interesting that you say that it's a lot
of Democrats that like to ignore keith ellison and cory booker they love to
fight and champion women until they disagree with them al franken lost his
job in the Senate and a number of other Democrats should have the same type of
scrutiny look the president is looking at you to my question every single time
the president has taken the side the man against women accusers that's
not true and in this case the president knows Brett Kavanaugh he's heard his
story there hasn't been a shred of evidence to corroborate the other
individual stories and there has been a lot of individuals that have come
forward and talked about the Brett Kavanaugh that they know and they're
confident that these things didn't happen final question what does the
president hope to achieve at the UN today I think that his speech this
morning is going to be a great moment for the president we've had a tremendous
amount of success particularly when it comes to the foreign policy front over
the last year since he gave his last speech if you'll remember the rhetoric
last year was extremely tough with North Korea I think you'll see certainly a
different tone and a lot of progress has been made on that front in large part

Today is the last day in Barcelona
I have to leave early tomorrow morning,
Before going back to South Korea,
I am currently heading to Barceloneta Beach!
Since
yesterday I did
a swimsuit HAUL
Out of those swimsuits, I chose 1,
and was going go put it on at the beach.
So I am wearing it right now,

We are on our way to the beach,
We're passing by Sagrada Familia, I visited this place not so long ago.

As any other day, this place is packed with tourists!

Today I want to talk about what happened recently
in Japan, as saying the huge
typhoon, another one!!
And my experience with the group
X-Japan
How... How can I explain it?
It has been truly paranormal, everything
from when the day started to when it ended.
I thought that I wasn't believing what I was seeing
because I never had such an experience and
I don't know if I have to be happy, sad or frightened.
Some days ago my c-

Holy *quack*!
Some days ago my agency asked me to
work as a assissent and presenter for
Yoshiki Channel, which is
one of Nico Nico Douga's Channels, about
the most famous japanese rock band,
X Japan!
AHHH
And this was my hype at the beginning, but when we arrived
althought already knoew the typhoon was coming
we didn't know when it would have come,
if the trains worked and also if they
would have canceled the event or not.
We arrived as usual and.. bimb-bam-boom,
We saw people going back home, and so I thought:
"Oh no, they're gonna cancel the concert! Because
this huge thyphoon is coming and
it isn't a joke at all.
Actually, panicking behind the scenes,
we didn't know nothing, they introduced me to
all Yoshiki channel's members, they're awesome people.
All this with calm and tranquillity and I was
a bit anxious because , honestly, I
I tell you, I knew x Japan
but I didn't follow them, I knew two songs
I listened to two song and that was all that I needed.
And I only had two friends that told me about them a lot
I heard so much stories that I said:
"Ok, I know life and times about them
they're not one of the groups I listen to most of the times
but I respect them, I can't say:
"They suck"
*everybody would beat me*
But they could be liked or not!
I informed myself about them, I also begged my friends
"You have to teach me!"
"It'll take you more than two days to get aknowleged!"
"Sh*t!"
This band is
really historic, it's background is so
huge that explaining it in a single video
wouldn't...
It really...
Is impossible.
So, what did I do and
What I adovice you to do, since I had two days
to prepare myself to this experience:
I downloaded the albums
from iTunes and I watched the documentary:
"We are X"
I don't know if I have to say "x" in english or in italian-
It has been a really moving documentary, and If I say so,
someone who doesn't follow the band
I thought that it wouldn't move me, but I was shocked.
It was like...
And tears continued dropping and I asked myself why was I crying,
it wasn't talking about the death of one of my favourite groups' members
I didn't know him at all, it was Hide!
but yet it broke my heart!
Oh my god!
This is a band which is quite
unique and with a really interesting music...
Even thought I would say that
I prefer the remasters, because I never listened to them,
but they're fantastic anyway.
By the way,
I said it a billion times-
When I arrived I was a bit anxious, "I'll really meet
really important people, but over all,
we still don't know what we have to do!!
Are they cancelling it or not?"
And there was a lot of noise, because Yoshiki,
which is the drummer, but also
the producer of X Japan,
we can say, the icon, I mean...
after Hide there's alwais him!
In every scene, there's him.
and he's also the chief of Yoshiki channel.
I was a bit worried, but I saw that behind the scenes,
as I could understand, because I was there like a statue,
everyone understood what was happening exept me-
"I'm sorry"
And they call me because, you don't have to be a fan
to do this job, let's talk clear, you can hate me
but you have to understand that
tomorrow I could have a job with Madonna and
maybe you like Madonna a lot and I don't, as I worked
for FLCL, which is one of my favourite animes,
and it has been a really huge emotion.
However for the majority of people it's:
"It's not that big deal"
Well, they're two different things
that gave me different emotions.
But I saw everything from a different perspective
as a person who didn't know them, so
she arrived there and she foud herself-
*BOOOOOOM*
Not only the typhoon, but also
all those feeling, he who absolutely wanted to
do that concert, but the Makuhari Messe didn't
allow them to do that, because suddently JR said:
"We'll cancel all trains at 6 p.m."
The concert had to start at 5 p.m., what could they do?
And since a lot of people-
*Oh my got it's so hot here-*
There were also people who I "know"
who were at the concert and sadly had to go home.
So, it was total panic, because he absolutely wanted to do that,
bt nor the Makuhari Messe and JR permitted that
for safety issues.
I have to say that after seeing the situation on the road
I can understan why thet acted like that, even though
It would have been beautiful to party all together,
I would surely have had fun but,
it wouldn't have been possible for
very important security issues, it wasn't a joke!
There was no wind until 6 p.m.
But suddently it tore down whole houses.
So, the show too was like...
I had to do some things and I had specific comments...
I all vanished.
And I was in a situation in which sadly, since I was an outsider,
I didn't feel at ease to
comment, or anything, I was a bit quiet
because I did't feel in the right position to
say something, only "I'm sorry"
because I saw that band
destroying itself, crying, a lot of times!
And it was the first time I saw them, but more of all,
I saw, luckily, because everyone was
blocked there, they made some people go out and
then they blocked every exit.
I- I... Wanted to go back home...
I saw that behind me
in the backstage, the concert of X Japan,
with no one in front of them.
There were 50.000 seats more or less, or maybe 10..
I don't remember, but the Makuhari Messe
is huge, it surely contains at least 10.000 people,
and it was empty.
And this band...
With such a power...
They were like a...
Bomb!
In front of nothing.
For me, it was...
I was so sorry, holy crap,
and at a certain point
when the live started, I swear, I heard the voices!!
For a moment it seemed like
I heard
fans' voices!
It was like "Oh my god!!"
"You heard that too? Yes."
The audience, from the other side of the screen
was hailing to them!
Because, what happened?
They didn't do a live for an empty stadium, they
had the permission to do that concert in livestream!
And they performed for all those people who could
watch the livestream and had Yoshiki channel or Ouwo,
sadly who didn't have it, ad a lot of foreigners...
Don't hate me...
Please.
The point is that by listening to them live...
It a whole different thing, and then
see them, in situation like that which was...
really heartbraking, painful, you could
touch their sufferance and...
their sadness and disappointment.
Even so they have been amazing
I heard the sounds inside me
in a powerful way, I had fun, even if I wasn't into them.
So, I won't became their fan or
go to their concerts, no.
It takes me a lot more.
But they're surely one of the groups that now
I'd advice you to listen to.
There was also a moment when Mr Yoshiki
seemed at the point of destroying his drumset.
There were only tears-
It was like:
"I don't know you but I feel so sorry for you!"
Immediately after this, Yoshiki came to the show
There were me, the presenter, Yoshiki, Kyoji
which is, I didn't understand perfectly if he was like
a friend of him and a member of another big band,
and the other presenter.
As he came in there was like...
A deep situation...
"We are really sorry..."
"It was amazing, but we're sorry"
And...
He talked about what he was thinking, his feelings,
and it ended like that, I was really happy because
even though I hadn't much space for me to talk,
for everything that actually I had to do, so
I really felt like a burden just beigh there.
Despite everything Mr. Yoshiki came to talk to me
and he said "Is the first time thaht we meet?"
"Where are you from?"
the routine questions, and he said:
"I hope to see you soon, because today it was really difficult."
Ok, thank you!
I'm really happy to hear that!
What happened after?
And we get to the huge typhoon.
Fact is that, when the live ended,
it was the most dangerous hour.
Sadly we couldn't stay at the Makuhari Messe, so it was like...
"You have to go away!"
So the staff began to dismantle everything and
they took me back home by car.
If somebody saw my Instagram, you saw
the videos, because the car...
"There is a huge typhoon? Let's go in the car!"
Holy *quack*
The trains are canceled
*Quack!*
At a certain point I'd have asked "Take me to an hotel, please!"
but I didn't want to be an egoist so I said
"I have to risk my life as everyone does!"
It was like a Tokyo Drift.
It took us four hours to arrive at my home, four.
Normally it take maximum one hour
Four.
It was really heavy, but I am really happy because
I managed to talk a little bit with the staff
I blocked a little bit, but they were all kind people.
They maybe weren't fans of rock music or
X Japan, there was this gruop of all these
strange people, but it was really cool.
The typhoon, when I showed to you last time, there was a lot of water
This time too, but
the wind literally eradicated trees
You could see trees do like
And while we were in the car, it moved a lot
and you could see thing that flew,
the cones, I don't remember what's their name,
which kept getting under the car so,
It was a really dangerous situation,
I got home and it was...
dark.
Freacking dark.
Totally dark.
And electricity didn't work, also in the conbini
in front of the house, it was all shutted down.
So I was so much frightened, it was 4 a.m., I said
"Well, How can I get in my house?"
The elevetor doesn't work and I don't have the emergency
steps keys, even if I asked them to give me a copy.
Fortunately a lady came off and
opened the door for me.
I got into my house and
it seemed like an horror house, I was scared that
a zombie could spawn behind a window
I know, it sounds childish but
I'm really scared from zombies.
I got inside and it was completely dark, and
this is what happened.
I thought they were enormous bugs but
it's worse,
they're holes.
I found out that the floor was wet and
probably it's because over here there is my neighbour's terrace.
So they came to see it, I called the owner
who said:"But there's nothing in the terrace"
I understand but maybe the water dried.
Look at the Sun out there!
There is the Sun, there are 30 and over degrees,
but yesterday it seemed like the apocalypse,
like the end of the World.
It has been awful.
I think that God
the Universe
the mystic potato
is really mad at Japan lately.
Because there are arriving so much typhoons.
and it has to come another one too!

So basically, today, we're talking about
the implementation of metal detectors as well as X-ray scanners when you go into the MRT.
LTA is experimenting with a 6-month trial of these X-ray scanners, plus the metal detectors all around the island in different stations.
But they don't want to tell people in advance where they're gonna be.
Because of security reasons ah.
So, what do you guys think about this move?
Luckily, I take bus ah.
When I read this piece of news right, first thing that came to my mind was that
"Okay, I think this is fantastic when it comes to security.
Right.
Nothing beats this and then like people want to carry weapons and stuff like that, now, we know who they are.
You know?
But like on the other hand, I believe the biggest qualm that I think Singaporeans would have right,
is efficiency because somehow, we must always rush and be fast, right.
Confirm they complain about peak hour one.
Yes!
Like in the morning, in the rush hour when you going to work.
Oh, then they'll be like
"Oh, prices of my EZ-Link already so high. Why you install metal detector?
Oh, Singaporean!

People are also mentioning things like
why the taxpayer money is going to certain things like this ah.
Like they don't really see what's the grey in between.
Like why there is a purpose to this, you know what I mean?
Damn waste time lah!

First of all, where are you going to find the manpower?
How are you going to find the resources to do it?
Right.
And it's like, it's just not going to work ah.
Interesting.
Okay, let's say if you traveled at a fairly empty period right,
so you just need to add on maybe like 5 minutes to your travel time but
the thing is, if you go during peak hour right, that 5 minutes compounds a lot real quick.
Maybe some companies may make an exemption for this, you know.
So people would be like,
"Okay, since we have this new implementation, you can come to work a little bit later because of all of this."
But the problem is that when you're going home, and you just want to go home,
then you need to spend one hour queuing because everybody wants to go home.
Then to me, it doesn't make sense.
Of course, there's some sort of purpose to it to prevent kind of the terrorist attacks or any suspicious characters.
So, in the larger point of view, it is obviously for the greater good of people lah.
But of course, it will add some sort of inconvenience to people.
But the thing is right, these things have actually been implemented in other countries, you know.
When I went to China right and this was something, I was damn shocked, you know.
Because I like "Eh, China, I didn't expect to have these high security things at their station."
But they will check. you know. Your water, all that.
They would even make you throw out the liquid from the bottle.
Fau Fau, do you know how many stations China MRT has?
They have so many stations.
Like you in, beep, the queue's only like 5 people.
Right.
But I've seen it before. It's really not long.
But for us, we only have one gantry and that's it.
Most of the time when these kind of things are implemented right,

there has to be a reason why LTA and the government decided to make this move in the first place,
knowing full well that Singaporeans only know how to complain.
There must have been something that triggered this action
and this something may not be publicised to the public.
Or may not be made mainstream knowledge.
You know?
There may have been some threats that may have not surfaced yet but intelligence with the government is aware.
So, this is something that I discovered when I was in NS because like
sometimes, this knowledge makes to the Arm Forces and intelligence but the normal public does not know.
And would I trade convenience versus safety, you know. I would never do that.
yeah, absolutely true, I think.
I agree with where John is coming from.
it's a 6-month trial lah.
It's generally going to get feedback from everybody,
whether it's the commuters, public transportation providers and then, we'll see how it goes ah.
But I think overall, we're moving in a direction where security is becoming more important for us to consider lah, even in our day-to-day lives.
As Singaporeans right, we are very comfortable.
And this is what I mean by like people always miss the big picture.
Why is it that all these are being implemented maybe in phases?
It's gonna sound like a conspiracy theory or whatever.
But why SG Secure app first and then after that, comes to these metal detector things.
The reason is the illuminati.
Maybe they know got some attack coming right, and then they
already plan for the government and the Istana bulletproof everything already.
Then now, they're like "Let's make all the trains bulletproof also."
And then, all Singaporeans do is,
"Oh my God, need to travel longer!"
Ultimately, the best point is when it's like as efficient as it is safe.
But hopefully, the government can achieve that lorh.
I think everybody would be pretty happy if that's thew case.
Overall right, I want to give one suggestion to LTA out there.
Why don't you integrate the tapping with the machine?
Right?
That's a great idea.
But if you think about it, if it's applied island wide,
then your boss also cannot blame you for being late, right?
Everybody also same and then eventually, all your work timing sekali evolve and then become shorter.
Think about it.
It will affect kind of our day-today lives.
Om the other hand, there are some benefits in the future, maybe long-term.

The main point here is we were talking about the scalpers, right?
And then of course, $12,888 is way too much money to be spending on a ticket.

I don't think $12,000 but if you sell a ticket for like above $1000,
I can guarantee you.
That is crazy.
Other than the scalpers right, a lot of people were complaining that there was an issue with the ticketing system.
Apparently, after they made a purchase of the tickets,
these people can actually go online again and buy the tickets without reentering the digital -

So, they don't have to enter the waiting room again.
So basically, they could have purchased the ticket easily after they purchased one.
So, there's a lot of tickets they can buy lah.

So, that's one of things that they say was the problem with the ticketing system.
The people who are buying the tickets are the people who don't even enjoy the concert and like just want to make money off it.
That's a very selfish motive lah.
I mean I'm sorry for all those people who didn't get tickets lah.
I feel so bad leh because like this is the first ever Kpop group that has ever sold out a National Stadium.

Singapore Indoor Stadium got people sell out before.
Singapore Indoor Stadium has 5,000 seats.

I think the only defense that sometimes, some of these scalpers will say is that they're trying to be a little enterprising.
And like I think it's difficult for people like us who don't experience this kind of mega fandom. to understand, right.
But to my small little understanding, I still feel for the people who cannot get the tickets.
And frankly speaking, ticket sellers and organisers are also out to make money.
But the good thing is, the Singapore Police Force, they always do this.
I must say, kudos to the SPF social media team, they came up with something real quick about ticket scalping.
I love how they use all the song titles.
They're very smart.
They kind of created like a campaign, this little image, with all the song titles from BTS
to remind people to guy and buy tickets from authorised sellers lah.
I totally agree with what the SPF is doing when they try to
deter some of these fans who are currently making very ill-informed emotional decisions lah when they see the marked-up tickets.
Yeah
So, don't buy unauthorised tickets from unauthorised sellers.
Maybe later on, before the concert like one week or something, do your best to research and check on Carousell.
Maybe they sell or some people might be selling it cheaper.
Even if you're on Carousell, be very wary of online transactions.
Always meet the buyer.
Always pay cash.
On the spot.
And always check the tickets immediately.
This feels like he's coming from experience like he got scammed before.

I never knew that for poly students to get into local universities, they will check your O-levels.
Okay, so basically, what they're saying is that now,
NUS & NTU, two of Singapore's largest universities,
are removing the need for O-level certificates to be assessed when entering...
Or when poly students are applying for university.
So, honestly, when we come from JC right,
A-levels is the only thing they look at.
I think O-levels, you kind of submit but they don't really care.
And it does not like affect your application.
Were you aware?
No leh.
First of all, I didn't go into a local university.
I went to private university.
But then even, when I first read it, I was like "Need meh?"
I totally don't know eh.
So currently, 20% of polytechnic students are university admissions score, which is a score that help them get to university,
comprises of the O-level results.
So, 20% eh.
So, that's actually quite a chunk eh.
Alright, so what do you guys think of this change where they're completely just removing this O-level thing?
I think it's a great move because I think at that age, they didn't know what they didn't know,
and they just followed what their parents say.
So, they may not pay so much attention onto their academics.
By the time they are ready to get into university right, something like this shouldn't come back and bite them in the butt.
Whether you did well or not for your O-levels, which was when you were 16 right,
should not affect how you get into university which is close to 20 (years old).
I think especially for ADM (Art, Design, Media) lah,
you know you should actually look at your poly grades because it's more hands-on.
Right.
It doesn't make sense to deny talent just because you're a research university that focuses on your grades.
University application right, don't they save a very small percentage for poly students? Something like that.
Yes and no.
Increasingly, there are more poly students and it's actually easier for poly students to get in.
So, they actually lower the cut off (point).
But it's also not good because it's like...
Are you just saying that poly students should get in just because we need to fill up this amount of space?
From what I see, all the people getting into university from poly right, they're all like 3.5 GPA and above.
You should recognise people's works, also not just based on their grades to get into university
especially when it's course-specific like you said ADM.
Only 30% of the education population get into (local) uni.
They already that if you get into JC, you're already the top 25 percentile of that age.
And then, further up into your university, even less.
So, it's actually a very small minority that actually go to (local) university.
They will still use O-level certs for certain subjects especially when the course requires certain knowledge of certain subjects.
I'm all for all these policies to create opportunities for people who get better as they go.

And then, I realised that sometimes, people don't know what they want until they are of a certain age and
sometimes, going through it helps you experience it.
Universities are academic institutions.
They have no choice but to look at some kind of academic introduction way to assess whether you'l be a valuable student in the institution.
We really shouldn't be looking at just academics nowadays.
We are all very talented in very different ways.
You might be interested in photography, for example.
I might be interested in Theatre, for example.
And I think that is a very crucial kind of thing to look at because these are the people who are eventually going to do well.
People who are actually genuinely interested in the subject, right?
As opposed to getting someone who just enters because they have got the As.
But they're not interested just because they want to do it, just want to get a degree, you know what I mean?
I really don't think that these people are stealing JC students spots or whatever people claim they're doing,
because it's like dude, just let them open up more spots for university lah.
My God, like the institution is so big.
There's so many classes, so many modules.
Why is it such an Elitist thing? You know what I mean?
Hopefully, if this protocol helps more poly students get into university, I'm all for it.
I firmly believe that our education system should always aim to uplift people and not try to put people into boxes.
And say that someone is better than the other, just purely because of your pre-university education lah.

You shouldn't shortchange people like that because for all you know,

is one I think the process that the Democrats have played has been
absolutely appalling and disgusting even in the accusers letter yesterday to
Senator Grassley she said she wanted to do this privately and she reached out
for that purpose but because the Democrats wanted to play eleventh-hour
political games they waited until the last minute they've made this a huge
public circus and frankly hurt two different families lives that they'll
never be able to be the same because of the way that they have operated this
process and I think it's disgusting that they've exploited these individuals and
their families for their own political purposes what was your take on Martha's
interview last night and what went into the decision to do that interview
because this whole process been unique that was a very tough decision I imagine
from communications I think it we've been very clear from the beginning judge
Kavanagh has wanted to come out and tell his story I'm telling you as far as I
mean he said it in every letter every exchange every statement that he is
willing and ready to come and answer questions hard questions uncomfortable
questions because he's been very consistent from day one and unequivocal
in his denial that anything ever took place
and so I I find it to be a good platform that he was able to come out and to
share his side of the story because as far as I can tell and as far as I
remember in America you're so innocent until proven guilty but the Democrats
have been calling him guilty from day one before they ever even talked to the
him oh he died they set through hours of hearing never brought it up never talked
to him in private meetings and waited until the last
minute to start throwing out some outrageous allegations that have no
corroboration which is I find really terrible you know a lot of people find
the time in curious we do want our viewers to be able to hear what judge
Cavanaugh had to say denying the accusations talking to Martha McCallum
on the story in America we have fairness we hear from both sides a fair process
at a minimum and a bare minimum requires hearing from both sides before rushing
to judgment people might have had too many beers on occasion and people
generally in high school I think all of us have probably done things we look
back on in high school and regret or cringe a bit but I that's not what we're
talking about we're talking about an allegation of sexual assault I've never
sexually assaulted anyone I've always treated women with dignity and respect
listen to the people who've known me best through my whole life the women
who've known me since high school the 65 who overnight signed a letter from high
school saying I always treated them with dignity and respect Washington Post says
that the president called mr. Cavanaugh yesterday to wish him good luck on that
Washington Post also says that the president has been frustrated with the
pace at which this has been progressing in the Senate on the Republican side and
he says that Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell according the Washington Post
had been too accommodating said the Republicans have been too
easily manipulated by the Democrats and he's sick of Ford's attorneys getting
their way and does not believe that the accusations are credible well you know I
like to not use the Washington Post as my source but but look the president
wants this process to come to a vote because that's what's supposed to happen
in every single one of these instances where someone is nominated they go
before they have a hearing and then the senators vote on it that's what's
supposed to happen and that's what the president expects to happen he's
nominated somebody senators had ample time to question him he's been willing
to come back and answer these new allegations that have been brought
forward and he wants a chance to be able to do that so that the
Senate can make a decision I do think it's unfair to continue to drag the
process out and continue to put good people through the wringer for the sake
of political games that the Democrats want to play White House press secretary
Sanders in the middle of all of this she joins us now here on GMA thank you for
coming in doesn't have that tweet last night rain against false accusations
against mr. Cavanaugh why does he think that mizramirez in dr. Ford are lying
certainly the president has said a number of times that these individuals
should be heard and great accusations Wallace already before they're hurt but
Cavanaugh has been unequivocal in his denial of this he knows Brett Kavanaugh
he's spent a great deal of time with him and he trusts him and Brett Kavanagh has
asked for his voice to be heard in this process too as last I can remember we're
still a country where you're innocent until proven guilty
except when you're a conservative Republican it is absolutely shameful
what the Democrats have done and the way that they've turned this into a complete
political process except multiple lives have been ruined both both families have
been drug through the mud when they didn't have to be because Dianne
Feinstein's wanted to do should have could have done this in a much more
structured process and instead waited until the 11th hour and is playing
politically political games with people's lives
and I find that to be disgraceful and discussing and she certainly needs to
shoulder a lot of the blame for what's going on right you have both MS Ramirez
and dr. Flores saying there should be an FBI investigation if they thought they
weren't telling the truth they wouldn't be inviting an FBI investigation why is
it wrong to have an FBI investigation for something as important as a Supreme
Court nominee because we have a process in place they
have a Senate process and we think it should be done through that no one is
trying to hide from this in fact Brett Kavanaugh has been leaning in he's
been begging to come and tell his story and be able to do that whether it's
publicly or privately he's asked for that opportunity and he's been perfectly
open for others to have the opportunity to serve their side as well but let's be
clear from the very beginning he has been strong and unequivocal in his
denial that anything like this happened he also has a lifetime of a record of
empowering and respecting women and you've seen hundreds of women that know
know him well come out and say exactly that as some of them recant that as well
though but from the president from the very beginning has been questioning the
story of dr. Ford including that tweet last week saying that if she were
telling the truth she would have reported it to the authorities at the

us and so today I am bringing the craft tutorials back with a mushroom crown
tutorial and the format's gonna be a little bit different. There's gonna be a

So it is a gorgeous autumn day in Berlin and I'm gonna start this video out by taking you guys with
me while I go and get the supplies that I need for this mushroom crown- at least
the supplies that I do not already have lying around at home. And speaking of
home and Berlin I want to point out that I would not live here- I would not be
here making new videos about LARP in Europe without my patrons. Ao this is a

to Berlin because the cost of living is a lot cheaper and it's so central in

Now we go home and make things. And I got kind of fancy with
this for reasons that will become clear to you later, but you can just go and get
plants from the dollar store. They're perfectly good plants. Generally. so now
So no that I've got all my stuff and I'm walking home, I'm just thinking about all the things
that I've been able to do because of people who miraculously choose to
support me on patreon. I'm using equipment I never dreamed I'd be using
I'm doing things I never dreamed I'd be doing and I'm so close to so many
lifelong personal and creative goals and on top of that they've been the most
wonderful supportive and patient group of people and at times I have tested
that need for patience. because I do have not only a chronic illness, but a mental
illness and a developmental disorder. Really a really wonderful trifecta there
and so I can't live life the way many people do- and sometimes simple things
take a lot out of me and I have to figure out workarounds and I have to
kind of go through a trial by fire as to figuring out what works and what doesn't
what I'm able to do. So while it does afford me certain freedoms to do work
that I really believe in, like working towards purging the community of abusers
and toxic practices, I also wouldn't really make it doing things
another way. A nine-to-five situation would just... I just wouldn't make, it you
know? I have never really been this independent before and it seems to only
be getting better and I'm taking control of my own life because of patreon and
the patrons who support me through there so ...I'm not gonna cry on YouTube yet haa
I'm not ready for that but thank you. And now because your patronage has allowed
me to put in an order for some real Workshop furniture hopefully I am coming
at you from the floor for the last time. Let's make a flower-less flower crown. So
getting started we're gonna need pliers, a hot glue gun, a cord, plants, and floral
wire. I'm setting up my little workspace on the floor here and getting out all of
the elements that I want to use. I'm taking a length of the floral wire and
using that to measure around my head where I want the crown to sit and once I
have that length I'm doubling it up, creating a loop at one end and then
wrapping one length of wire around the other so I am essentially creating a
thicker wire.
So once I've wrapped the whole length of wire two or three times I have a loop on
the starting end and I'm going to create a loop on the opposite finishing end.
Once I finished my loops on either end of the wire, I'm gonna use hot glue to
cover up any sharp pokey wiry ends. I do this every time I wrap a new piece of
wire onto the crown. I really really hate being stabbed in
the head. Once you got both ends hot glued I've put a white surface town so
you can see what I'm doing it's time to start with the vines. so I'm taking a
length of this vine and measuring it to the crown length and cutting it there.
Then I'm taking the wiry vine, and I'm not gonna measure it and cut it just yet,
but I'm gonna attach both ends to the start of the crown by wrapping the wirey
vine around the other vine and hot gluing the whole mess. I usually have a
cup of water handy so I can dip my fingers in it and handle hot glue safely
but I just decided to be a monster today. So once I have all the ends glued
together I'm using the wiry vine to wrap around the other vine and the base of
the crown holding it all together that way. And just going around the whole
length trying not to let the wiry vine trap any of the cool little tendrils of
the other vine, so I'm just untucking those as I go and then finishing it off
by wrapping the wiry vine around the normal vine at the other end and hot
gluing the crap out of that as well.
So now I've got the base of my crown all ready to go and the next step is to add
the decorations which means (singing) mushrooms. I have always been able to find mushrooms
like these at hobby shops with little wires at the end which makes them really
easy to just thread through your wire work on the crown and wrap it up
really well, and then hot glue all of that together again, remembering to cover
up any sharp pointy ends of any wire. And then I add on little details, tinier
plants, to cover up any wire or hot glue mess. And this is where I really like to
use ferns. It's all just detail work from that point on. So now I've shown you how
to attach the mushrooms, I am taking stock of how many mushrooms I have and
what sizes they are because I want to plan this out a little bit.
So I put a big mushroom in the center and then worked out from there, and I
decided that rather than adding two mushrooms to the very back to make it a
sort of perfect circle I wanted to add two to either side of the center front
mushroom to make it actually look like a crown design. Then I am liberally hot
gluing the base of all these mushrooms and starting to add all the little
details. This is this is my favorite part. I didn't expect these mushrooms to be
made out of pressed styrofoam so I am gently hot gluing the back of all of
them to make them a little stronger.
Waiting on that to dry before I continue because I don't want to accidentally break
any of them. Although this styrofoam did seem to take hot glue pretty well so if
they did break I could just hot glue them back together and it probably
actually be stronger than before they broke. Now I'm starting to trim up the
white roots that I got at the store. They were very tough. They also look antler-like,
a little bone like which is very much the the aesthetic. And at this point
I'm not wrapping any more wire on anything, I'm just hot gluing a lot to
make sure it stays, and honestly that should be plenty as far as making it
sturdy. And it's all detail work at this point. I'm just adding white root pieces
and ferns and those little white bud things just to make it look like it was
designed, but also like you could have picked it up off the forest floor. That
is... that's my aesthetic, is looking like I just rolled out of the forest. And now
for the part that actually makes this adjustable, I'm taking that cord that I
had lying around, cutting off the tassel, and threading it through the loops on
either end of the back of the crown. And that is what will make it adjustable. You
can loosen it if you want to wear it over a wig or a hat or anything, you can
also use ribbon for this. I just used this cord because it's what I had lying
around. And I'm tying off the end so that braid doesn't come undone all the way.
And that's it! Once I had my materials this whole thing took me less than an
hour to make. I'm not proud of my hair but I'm proud of the crown. So that's how I make my forest
crowns. And now for the special announcement that I promised. As a thank
