Youtube daily report w Nov 20 2018

What are some of the best tips for new streamers on twitch in this video I got

you covered for anyone starting out their streaming adventure let's go!

Hey it's me it's wild coming at you from my stream support video where I bring you

the best tips and tricks and if this is your first time here you will learn how

to grow and improve your stream make sure you hit that big red subscribe

button and take that bell so you know in my videos go live for you if you're a

brand-new streamer on Twitch you kind of feel a little overwhelmed when you start

you're not sure what you should do what shortcuts you can take to become a

better streamer you're kind of lost without any direction out there but not

to worry I'm coming to your rescue I'm gonna give you some awesome tips 5

tips in fact they're gonna make you a better streamer if you're just starting

out your streaming adventure here on Twitch and in fact these tips will

pretty much work for all streaming platforms youtube mixer hitbox caffeine

TV they work for them all so let's get started on our list ok for our epic tip

number one if you're brand new streamer out there and switch is learn to be a

part of somebody else's community before you start forming your own community

whenever I'm doing stream coaching for a person on Twitch one of the biggest

problems they always tell me is they have an issue getting viewers or viewer

retention further stream and that's because they're actually streaming way

too much they're not taking enough time on Twitch's platform to watch others to

become a part of their community and learn about all of their regulars their

followers their subscribers and everything in between if you can become

a part of somebody else's community that's in the same kind of genre or game

as you they'll eventually start to know you and recognize you and you'll start

to form all these friendships and bonds so that way when you stream you already

have somewhat of a community because it's someone else's that's willing to

share to help you grow and this is a great way to get a huge boost if you're

starting out streaming on Twitch a lot of people when they start streaming they

start streaming at a big fat zero which really zaps your energy because

you feel depressed because nobody's watching you but if you're a part of

another community you're gonna have all these relationships that branch out from

just these few streamers that you know of when you stream you'll already have

followers because you'll be on their notification so when you hit that start

streaming button you will be surprised at how many people start flooding in so

make sure you get to know a lot of other communities out there before you hit

that start stream button okay okay before you hit that start stream button

you actually need to do something first and this is very important record tweak

stream tweak then you can actually go live and what I mean by this is record

yourself actually just to your harddrive record and see how the lighting works

see how the gameplay actually looks see how you sound see how the lights come

across you is everything aesthetically pleasing can people actually hear you

does your voice sound clear does the gameplay come through make your tweaks

for this and then broadcast to a second account I call this a smurf account that

nobody's ever gonna know about just do it on some random lowing game and put under a

name that you share with nobody then broadcast the reason you do this is

because there's gonna be latency issues between what game you play or what kind

of hardware you have and this is where you get a tweak if your mouth is gonna

sync up with your words or what you're actually talking about is happening in

the gameplay or anything along those lines that you can make subtle tweaks

for and make sure you tweak this and then when you have all this done make

sure you save your settings and write them down on a piece of paper

there's cool programs out there like stream labs OBS that you can save to the

cloud but these can even fail at times so make sure you write down your

settings and save them to a Google Doc if you want some more information on how

to test your streams before going live or saving your past broadcast reams to

watch I'll put a link up here on the top of the YouTube card so that we can check

it out because it goes a little more in-depth on that for you tip number

three for new streamers out there is please please please learn to fill the

silence everybody thinks streaming is easy at least that's the interpretation

they have when the come and play games on twitch they're

like hey... I can do that I can play games I can be entertaining Oh guess

what when you first start streaming you're not you're not entertaining at

all and you know why it's because there is so much silence that people will come

in and leave so quickly and you have to learn how to create a flow that's gonna

break up that silence and there's a few little things you can do and I can do a

video on this in depth if you're really interested if you are make sure to leave

me a comment below and I'll see what I can do to help with this but learning to

fill your science by having an outer monologue and talking about the the

actions you do within the game or why you build a certain class of character

this way or why you chose to go left versus right or why you chose to do this

kind of attribute versus another attribute there's a lot of things you

can have on the outer monologue and if you're a brand-new streamer you kind of

forget a lot of these things that you do are just thoughts in your mind they

actually need to become thoughts out of your mouth and you need to speak them

that way your audience can engage with you and talk about it and if you have a

hard time talking don't be afraid to talk about you or your passions or

something that you know you naturally feel educated about that'll help the

chat flow because people will chime in and these passions can be anything books

movies comic books anything out there that you feel comfortable talking about

people will resonate with and engage in the conversation and if none of that

even works at all music music will save you from silence and to help keep things

flowing till your next thought process but like I said there's a bunch of

things that can help you out on this if you are interested on this subject link

or link make sure you leave me a comment in the description below tip number four

and this is kind of a pet peeve for me so make sure you do this one first and

it's easy to do and you don't even have to that search string button make sure

you fill out your channel page completely make sure you put in panels

and descriptions and descriptions of everything about you and your channel

the problem is is if nobody puts any information within their channel page

let's think about this if people come to your channel and they see blanks there

they just think this is a one and done and nobody's gonna come back and watch

you again so make sure you put a lot of information in there

put about you your rules links to your social medias like Twitter discord

Instagram put donation links in there places where they can find out more

information about you or the games you play there's tons and tons and tons of

things you can put down here in your panel and in fact if you need a little

more help with that I'll put a card on the top of the YouTube there you can go

check that out at the end of this video that'll help you actually customize your

channel if you can add a little bit of style and flair to your channel people

are gonna see that you're taking it professionally and they're gonna see

that you're standing out from the rest of the others which is really gonna help

you grow with viewer retention and even grab new viewers people overlook this

all the time take just an hour out of your day and refine and make your

channel better alrighty alrighty it's time for number five and this is a big

one for brand new streamers that are streaming on twitch YouTube or mixer

everybody wants to be an overnight success but overnight success takes

years it's gonna take you a long time before you actually become successful on

Twitch yes yes I know some people will have great amount of luck and be

overnight successes that's most likely not you and it's not me it takes a lot

of hard work and it takes a lot of trial and error it's become very good at

streaming and feel comfortable at it in fact I actually say your first hundred

streams are probably just gonna be really good eventual tests for what will

come eventually your first hundred aren't going to be good so don't expect

much from it they're just learning are there building blocks they're gonna help

you learn so overnight success takes years so don't feel bad don't feel sad

don't feel depressed if nobody really watches you at first use those as

building blocks to become better refine reevaluate and readjust so that way you

can have better streams like I've said in my past videos I streamed on Twitch

for four months to no one I had no idea what I was doing I didn't know how to

talk I was just sitting there looking like a total scrub but eventually you

find more confidence you feel you figure out how to talk to people and you get

conversations flowing and you become part of communities and then everything

becomes bigger and better and as this keeps going you will become

a better streamer so don't expect to explode right out of the gates it's

gonna take a little bit of time for all of you guys out there hopefully these

tips will help you all grow and become better streamers out there if you need

any more help make sure to check out all of my past videos there's a lot of great

tips and tricks in all of those playlists I'll even put it down in the

description below so make sure you check out the show notes if you guys want to

see more videos like this from me make sure you leave a comment below and

let me know what you need help with and if you want to keep up with me and

what's going on with my channel make sure you follow me on Twitter and

Instagram app while out for games and if you need a little more extra personal

help make sure you mosey on over to twitch.tv/wild4games where I do

stream coaching where you can sign up by using the panel that says stream

coaching on my page and hit that almighty subscribe button to help

support me so I can help support you thank you so much for those that already

have I will see you all in the next stream support video coming up real

quick take care all peace

Jak osiągnąć sukces? 💸 | Jacek Wiśniowski | sukces.pl - Duration: 4:13.

The question: Do you know what you want from life?

What do you really desire?

What makes you different from the president of e.g. Orlen, who probably earns 3 million a year?

How to learn languages quickly, to be able to communicate with people?

What's most important in life?

We live for memories.

We live for what you may have heard in the lyrics of a song:

"Because only the moments're beautiful in life".

Many people have some plans, dreams. Dreams, mainly dreams about what you would like to do,

what kind of a person you would like to be, but not necessarily these things come true because....

there's a prose of everyday life... because today is a match, because tomorrow is a party…

…and life slips through our fingers

…but it can be done differently.

You can set yourself a certain path and stick to this path.

It's possible to change your life from what you have now.

There's a chance for you to be rich, athletic

to make all your dreams and goals that you have so far come true.

There's also a difference between a dream and a dream...

... and, as for me, one should not limit oneself at all.

Turn your thinking this way.

I deserve a million. I deserve happiness. I deserve wealth. I deserve a wonderful relationship.

Everything that you have in life, everything that happens to you,

even where you're now, where you listen to this speech, and on what device you listen to it

all the thoughts that are in your head, all the beliefs...

...Truly everything that happens in your life depends on YOU.

When you assume that it's all up to you,

you will start paying attention to your acts and the way you think.

I repeat to you again....it's all up to you...

...all that has happened in your life, and what's happening

The only person who is responsible for it is 100% YOU.

And you realize that your life could be better…

If instead of spending this time in front of the screen, you could do something else...

...And you probably know what should you do to realize that THIS IS IT...

Think about it every day..honestly every day you should think:

How to increase my value..?

Many people're wondering: Where is the way to success?

How to achieve success? What should I do to make it happen?

My dear fellow..

If you want results in your life,

You must hustle your buns - exactly like that.

...and when you hear something....

then DO IT.

It's all about it...

I've published more than 200 videos and in each of them there's a "pearl".

So you just have to grab such a "pearl",

take it out of a shell and put it into practice.

You can even watch 5 videos back, which I've given you.

In each and every one there're some rules that lead to big achievements.

Even these last 5 videos will change your life.

I've been running this channel for 5 years now.

I start from the simple assumption that

I run this channel in order to motivate you to start doing something.

I have the opportunity to know what society thinks about, what people aspire to and what they achieve

If you like what I'm doing, please send this video to others.

Let them see, maybe someone will learn something.

If you think I've encouraged you to do something or I've inspired you – feel free to use it.

Everything is for people. I really mean that everything is for people...

..so think and act.

Look for solutions, really look for solutions because there's always a way out.

Thank you and see you soon. Bye.

the best tips and tricks and if this is your first time here you will learn how

to grow and improve your stream make sure you hit that big red subscribe

button and take that bell so you know in my videos go live for you if you're a

brand-new streamer on Twitch you kind of feel a little overwhelmed when you start

you're not sure what you should do what shortcuts you can take to become a

better streamer you're kind of lost without any direction out there but not

to worry I'm coming to your rescue I'm gonna give you some awesome tips 5

tips in fact they're gonna make you a better streamer if you're just starting

out your streaming adventure here on Twitch and in fact these tips will

pretty much work for all streaming platforms youtube mixer hitbox caffeine

Bye.

Oh, darling of mine

Where have you been

Where have you been

Where have you been

Where have you been

Oh, darling of mine

Tell me you know

Just tell me you feel this

Please don't let go

Oh, darling of mine

With you in my bed

I feel so alive

Where have you been

Oh, darling of mine

Baby, you can have it all

She's taking what she wants

As she closes the door

As she grabs me by the waist

Yeah, I just wanna taste

Not the type you can ignore

She gets bored of everything

It's that certain type of thing

That I've been here before

And then I start to think, As I lift her on the sink

Where have you been

Where have you been

Where have you been

Where have you been

Oh, darling of mine

Oh, darling of mine

Tell me you know

Just tell me you feel this

Please don't let go

Oh, darling of mine

With you in my bed

I feel so alive

Where have you been

Oh, darling of mine

This is my type of thing, yeah yeah

When she feels like the girl next door

It's that type of thing

Paranoid cutie with a dark past and

Red pill in my hand

I keep her real close 'cause she knows who I am

On a train through Japan

Oh, darling of mine

Oh, darling of mine

Tell me you know

Just tell me you feel this

Please don't let go

Oh, darling of mine

With you in my bed

I feel so alive

Where have you been

Oh, darling of mine

This is my type of thing, yeah yeah

As she pulls me on the bathroom floor

Then I start to think

Dark hair waving out the passengers' side

She's just my type

Listening to beach house, taking my time

Woke up on the west side

How to Break OUT of the Matrix and Go INTO the Rabbit Hole with Leeor Alexandra - Duration: 19:56.

this video we're gonna show you exactly how to break out of the matrix how to go

down the rabbit hole into your own consciousness and how to understand more

about yourself than ever before welcome back to another video my name is Erin

and I help people to expand their consciousness this is Lee or Alexandra

who will keep your vibrations way way way up and today we're gonna be talking

about that of more esoteric stuff the other day we were actually talking

because working at this place in Costa Rica called Lydia and here we do

something called plant medicine for three or four days in a row Dunes plant

medicine where we go deeper into our own consciousness do a lot of shadow work

where we become aware of our like unconscious beliefs and whatnot and we

had this conversation the other day and I remember after conversations like we

should have recorded that it was such a it was such a deep and so different than

the YouTube life-changing conversation for me for sure yeah really like I felt

like shit and it was different it's not something that I've ever talked about on

my channel not even close I'm sure they used something I touched

on it before but this will really be going into we're gonna go deep in this

video so so I guess the way we'll start it out that uh so Leo and I are here for

a whole week with me and Costa Rica mm-hmm and how's your experience been so

far I mean now it's over so now it's over

almost and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself I can't wait to come

back yeah I can't wait I didn't know we're gonna do it next year oh yeah

we're gonna do an x-ray next we're next week all week I kept saying I kept

thinking to myself like because Aaron was saying yeah the ORS coming back for

sure next year I was like ah I'm actually gonna come back and now it is

oh I wonder if I already said it yet I said I did I kind of felt like as if

Ellie was gonna come too you know yeah it's a yo-yo Julio is you should

and her youtube channel would be linked below but she's one of my best friend's

she's also an amazing youtuber and she has great content so check out her

channel you welcome I've never done anything like this anything like with

Nia at all I've never done any hallucinogens any drugs really yeah this

is this is plant mint no it's fine yeah just so you know I had a little bit of a

block about even sharing some of this video of talking about what rythme a--

is because it's a place where you come and you do plant medicine and plant

medicine is like there's different names for it I think ayahuasca would be the

most common name people would understand it as but you do that for three or four

nights while you're here and you go deep and you purge out things that don't

serve you you have these realizations it's very powerful

however it's a little bit more taboo in society and I was like what are people

gonna think of if I say this but now I'm realizing that this is it expands

consciousness you know both Lior and I we don't like you know do any other

drugs or anything like yeah we're not into that that's not how we spend our

time at all you you guys know what Erin does a lot of people know what I do we

just grow and empower people and just like live very healthy happy lives it's

not like we're searching out ways to like get a bit escaped or anything this

is right this is to go more within not to go out heal you know so for more ways

to heal even deeper yeah so that's why we came here and we came here this week

we're with three or four other youtubers which is really cool so as always

youtubers here and we had these experiences and Lior not have having I

know she's never really tried anything other than you have an alcohol every now

and then you know but not like you know didn't even mind altering stuff like

this you know so I didn't know how she was gonna respond but I felt like she

would get whatever she was looking for she'd have some type of transformation

so and I didn't know that I actually didn't come here 100% deciding them

going to do anything but it just felt right there was just add energy and like

everything was just everything is perfect the way things happen is perfect

yeah they're bad and then I feel about this week so yeah so the first day the

first day we come in we going to ceremony like 5:30 to 6:00 at night you

know and we all had our own experience you know and then just to kind of

summarize that so what was your experience like or

with that led to that conversation that we had over there you know what I mean

well that was the loop third night okay the loop yeah so there was kind of a

theme going on so the first night I got stuck in this loop where I was something

was coming to the surface the way that the plant medicine works is it brings

things to the surface so you have to feel them and then it makes what what's

coming is going this what exactly yeah it's coming to you if you're beat if

you're aware of it then it's leaving but I was really scared of this thing that's

coming I didn't know what it wasn't I kept pushing it away and I got stuck in

a loop and it just kept going and going and going and I got really really scared

and ultimately it was beautiful but this went on into the third night in the

third night this loop started again and I kind of remember asking I was like

give me the truth I want to see what the truth is and that's when I was shown

that a part of me that's doing this plant medicine at that time is stuck in

that moment forever a part of me mm-hmm and I was that part of me and I felt

stuck and I felt like like I had I just felt like a prisoner to this life and

then I kind of I mean I only saw one of the Matrix movies but that's what it was

and I was shown the truth and it looked like the matrix like we're hooked up to

machines mm-hmm and this is a simulation all of life is a simulation and I kept

saying this isn't real this everything here isn't real when the ceremony ended

and everybody was kind of waking up I was really angry at everybody everybody

was sharing Aaron we're sure I wasn't mad at you I know I know yeah when I

heard you I felt a little bit better but everyone was sharing and I was just like

why are they doing this what's the point what's the point to all of them right

none of this is real we're stuck here like this is a simulation where computer

files were drowned and dropped like I had just this realization that things

weren't the way that I always thought that they were and you know I'm always

always been a very happy and positive person I've never really felt that bad

and I felt so bad because it's as if my meaning

my reason to live was taken away from me right because it's like oh this isn't

real and I was so so sad I was sad I woke up the next day much better and I

was a spy oh stop until me and Aaron Aaron and I had this conversation and he

reframed it for me and we'll talk about that yeah but the way that that this

happened that I had this experience and then it was reframed was also perfect

it's exactly the way that I had to be because I was waiting for a resolution

while I was in the ceremony on the plant medicine and I didn't get it but I

wasn't ready for it I had to kind of feel the sadness that I haven't felt in

such my entire life I had to really really feel it and then we talked and

then it just made so much sense and I mean you can tell them why I felt so bad

for me because I didn't yeah yeah so they did a lot of a lot of we can feel

of a the emotion of how we feel when we look at certain ideas so I remembered

Lior came up to me one of the nights and she looked she had this sad look in her

face and like me I have this relationship

with Lee or to where like I I feel I don't know I

we couldn't even be beds close to each other because I'd be too worried about

her not worried like a worried parent but I wouldn't be able to have my own

experience without thinking of her because like I just kind of that protect

her you know what I mean that's kind of the the vibe that I get with her and and

when she came up to me she kind of looked at me and she goes we live in a

matrix and none of its real and she was kind of saying like a question like none

of its real right when it come for me she want confirmation for me and I

couldn't be inauthentic and say that it's not a simulation or it's not the

matrix because it is we're in the matrix in a certain way in the way that I'll

explain too in a way in a minute but so I was like kind of like yes and no you

know but I knew that I could explain it more than she'd understand it and I was

like I promise you that you know we if we go deep on this idea then you're

gonna see that it's not as scary as you think so what I did is we there's a

location over there that we were talking I was like let's get away because

there's so many people here it's like let's get some time do we just kind of

talk about it for a minute and we started going deep on the concept and

basically what I was sharing with her is that we do live in a forum

of matrix-like our senses that we experience through our sense perceptions

we're Vytas our interpreters of vibration so the thing is is unless

you're aware that you are in a matrix if you are at the effect of everything in

your life then you are at the effect of the matrix itself like everything is

controlled in a way because you're at the whims of everything else you're at

the whims of circumstance you're not aware of it and what the way that I

explained it to Lior is that you are an immortal spiritual being you are so much

more than that just as one physical structure that you have and because

you're so much more than that it's like you the part of you that's scared of

knowing that is the evil part that wants to really remain attached to the form

itself and what that was showing her that night is that she is actually so

much more than she could have imagined and the way that I explained it to her

is that we're immortal spiritual beings of Ana temporary human experience energy

exists and will always exist you cannot create nor destroy energy it just is we

are energy we are consciousness now what happens is from a soul perspective we

are unconditional love bliss joy peace enlightenment when we feel those

emotions it feels good because it's who we naturally are now what happens is

when we come into this life we start to become programmed by the matrix

programmed by society by our friends by our family by circumstances and it makes

us into this certain structure of the ego thinking we are the ego now the key

is knowing that that's just a certain perspective of us that's just certain

part of us but in actuality we have come from higher dimensional forms of

existence of this unconditional love and bliss and we have incarnated into this

matrix into the system it's just that we use for this system we use our body

which is the interpreters of vibration to have this current life experience and

if we feel something if we're focused on a perspective that feels like a lot of

negative emotion that negative emotion is telling us that that's not who we

really are so yeah and the moment that Leora was focused on this perspective I

was like that's what it's not that it's untrue that we live in a matrix it's

just that the way it's being interpreted isn't in alignment with the truth and

understanding that you are an immortal spiritual beam that exists in higher

states of consciousness that you've just temporarily

put your form here because this is like a school this is like a game this is a

dream we think it's so real this dream appears to be very real because it's so

continuous because we have these sense perceptions but in actuality it's

something that we're having for a certain experience but that we chose and

we chose to be here yeah so that's what I mean you feel so much better because

then you realize it's not like you were put here to nice because then you

realize that you weren't put here for that reason or you know you you realize

that there's no deeper meaning of life I chose to come here because there was

something that I needed to experience and wanted to experience here I'm not a

prisoner to this dream no I chose this dream and if anything

you chose this dream as well because right now I believe I mean it's kind of

a personal belief but you look around you'll see kind of evidence of it there

is a transformation happening on the planet where more and more people are

awakening to who they are and as people awaken to more of who they are it starts

to change the way that we relate to the dream itself and how we relate to this

whole experience and there's this transformation going right now so the

purpose of a lot of what we're experiencing in our life is because it's

all in alignment with what's happening this transformation just being aware

that we're in a matrix and that the matrix itself is something that's there

that once you're aware of you can then see how you navigate through it in a new

way and the truth of the matter is though the only thing that is remember I

kept telling you that day the only thing that is real is that you are loved that

is it everything else is not real it's it might seem real the negative emotions

will seem real but those are just those are just identification with thoughts

that we're having we may think thoughts but we are not our thoughts so it's like

the more we became aware and what Leora went through I think is it started that

experience that you had that was negative because I was like we live in a

matrix that was breaking apart her beliefs of reality in general because

when you believe that things are very solid they will be very solid when you

believe that reality is a certain way reality will always be that way because

you buy into it so much but what that did is it shook up her belief system and

said okay reality's not what you think it is reality is more flexible reality

is about alignment it's about love love is the only thing that is real and then

it kind of shifted you into a state to where you

like this is all that's real you know what is real well what does it matter

it's the experience that's real and that's what I kept a record telling me -

it's the experience that's real you know I feel like yeah I was so so attached to

my idea of what's real and now I'm not that's that's what had to happen

that was your miracle because they're very cushy and you can tell now cuz

there your energy is so free it's under honestly has been very free she's like

one of the most authentic people I know you know and she's always had this very

open energy but I can just feel it within her now that it shifted this

level of empowerment where you realize that you don't have to buy into the old

beliefs you know because our beliefs create our reality and when we're here

what we were learning is all these beliefs that we acquired a newer young

that we started to let go of and now that we've let go of them it's it

changes everything so yours was the ultimate because yours was your belief

about reality itself and I said this quote to her the other day that I don't

know who coined it or if I even coined it but I've never really heard it before

but the more you realize that life is a form of dream the more dreamlike your

life will become new mantra does it every day but yeah it's when you change

your when you when you realize that life is more than you priorly thought that

you are the immortal spiritual being that is that when you go to bed at night

you wake up to these higher states of consciousness but your brain doesn't

remember it I remember kind of explaining that as well like your brain

can only remember the things that it relates to so you gets it you get these

symbolic subconscious things of Oh last night in my dream I was in the 8th grade

and this happened and this well that's the way the brain interpreted it but

when you go to bed at night you wake up to these higher states of consciousness

that is not bound by time and space Harry Potter I know we're both huge

Harry Potter fans the reason I think we like Harry Potter is because Harry

Potter land is closer to reality than this reality so like when I read all the

Harry Potter's I got out of it like I would like to be a muggle it's not so

much fun you know there's is so much fun in the magic and life is really meant to

be magical book in this matrix right now there's a belief consensus of reality

where a lot of people believe that magic isn't real so there are beliefs about

reality that's what you get exactly know this agreement that we have the

subconscious agreement between everybody yeah our collective consciousness I

guess that that honestly makes sense because the whole Harry Potter thing

because whenever I like since I was a kid and I read the books whenever I'm

anxious and whenever I'm feeling low vibration I always reach for the book

and reread one of the books yeah so I feel like it makes sense because that

resonates more with my true soul with my true self mm-hmm

but the more the more you let life be magical the more magical life will

become is it what life is meant to be magic I remember yes you said this to me

like that our higher selves these cells out that sleep and have this dream we

don't we can't remember the dream because it's so much better yes that we

wouldn't want to be here exactly that - yeah because that shows me that we're

not hooked up to machines no and the movie the matrix uses a certain symbol

symbolic type form and it had action parts in it and it had this whole

storyline yeah but in actuality I said well you could look at the ego as a

machine the ego could be a machine but the thing is is it's worth organic

exactly but it's organic like our minds are still programmed from our

environment but when you start to see it more so as it goes beyond that it's it's

or organic it's this and that it's yes we might be somewhat we might have

programming in our mind of our past experience but we can reprogram it which

is powerful to know but also it's still organic so it's not like we live in a

computer that's cold and there's no emotion the only thing that's true in

life is that we are loved everything else is an illusion it's an

identification and it's not really actually true the experience of it will

feel real but it's a temporary blip that we eventually become aware of but it's

it's also not you know if you're watching this video right now you cannot

receive of that which you are not the vibration up so if you're watching this

video right now maybe some of these ideas are starting to open you up to who

you really are because the truth is is you are an immortal spiritual being you

exist in these higher dimensions right now you're dreaming this is who you are

and when you go to bed every night you wake up as that you but if you knew that

if you were playing a video game and you knew that it was a video game you

don't take it out serious but if you play a video game that you believe is

really real this is real you respond to it differently and then the power though

is you think that you have one life so you respond to it then you sponder

there's more meaning behind it and there's a purpose behind it but

eventually what happens is then you become aware that it is a game because

one of the purposes of the is of the game of life is that you become aware

that it is a game that it is a dream that it is this experience because when

you become aware of it then you can change the rules but if you're at the

effect of the whole entire dream then you'll just remain at the effect so it's

about that shift into that awareness of but you have to become aware of at first

so Lior is not just becoming aware of it she experienced it and that experience

that one experience shifted her whole beliefs about life and now her life will

continue to change so it'll be curious to see how your life changes from now

going forward because I can already see a difference in her but it's I think

yeah I think so I think you'll feel more free and even more empowered and knowing

that you are formulating and going in the direction that you want come back to

reveal cool so we share conversations like this

more often yeah I'm gonna one day come today I know you think that Lior succumb

to Vegas could you please comment below so that I could like screenshot in a

minute or so she'll eventually make it I go to LA sometimes but you brought you

your food a private jet to Vegas once okay sure I tried to see you that not

trick you did text me I did it was all yours the beginning to when we hardly

knew of each other but now we know each other a lot Morgan so anyways Lior

Alexander's channel will be right below he's awesome to my story guys thank you

for being here yeah we had a ton of fun we're lasting here we get ready to go

back home tomorrow so it's back to the real world the real world what is real

what is real I don't know we'll have to I have to make it another one of these

videos one day love is real and we have a video on your channel yes

as well that we just made that's yes check it out you'll see it in the link

in the description below Monday there we go

Logan Paul Comes Out Of The Flat Earth Closet - Duration: 5:06.

Logan Paul attended a huge flat earth conference, the second annual flat earth international

conference in Denver Colorado.

He didn't only attend the congerence, he gave a keynote speech and during it he proclaimed

that he was a flat earther.

But is that really whats going on here?

Probably not.

Welcome back to how not to stay relevant one oh one.

I mean, inform overload.

I'm charlotte dobre.

On this channel we tell you about the funniest, most interesting news stories we find on the

internet and we make them more entertaining.

If that sounds like something you're down for, smash the subscribe and turn on notifications,

and while you're at it, check us out on social media, our links are posted in the

description.

Logan Paul has been making headlines recently because he's really tired of everyone hating

him, and he's asked for a second chance.

His reputation is still tattered even a year after he posted the infamous suicide forest

video where he filmed a dead body.

So at the annual flat earth international conference, conspiracy theorists gather to

share their ideas, and also to discuss the quote true scientific inquiry of the created

earth.

Logan paul attended this conference, and the organizers let him give a keynote speech.

He talked about how we haven't been to the moon in 50 years, how the moon emits light,

and how globe heads cant explain gravity.

He then said, I'm not ashamed to say, my name is logan paul and I'm coming out of

the flat earth closet.

Hmm.

Alright logan.

When he did this, the audience erupted with laughter and applause.

Logan paul is not the first celebrity to do this.

Kyrie Irving and rapper BOB also came out as flat earthers, but the difference is, I

am like 99.999 percent sure that logan paul isn't being serious.

Listen, Logan Paul is clearly trolling everyone.

He had a cheeky smile on pretty much the whole time he was giving his speech and he had to

stop to giggle at one point.

And the person who took the video of him was clearly laughing behind the camera.

He said to a daily beast reporter 'don't you think if the earth was round our shoes

would have a curve in them?

Like I mean come on.

This is obviously an attempt for logan paul to get into the news, and maybe get more subscribers.

AT the time, logan paul was filming a vlog for his channel, which could explain why he

gave the speech in the first place.

Keemstar said that paul made the speech either to troll, or because his audience is waning,

and that he's quote, looking for more idiots to follow him.

Keemstars words, not mine.

But that doesn't change the fact that there were probably a few flat earthers at this

conference who believe logan paul.

Flat earthers get a lot of their information on youtube.

Theres a huge market for flat earth videos on this platform.

And the people who organized the flat earth convention most definitely believed that logan

paul was being sincere.

This conference is a place where flat earthers can speak freely about their notions.

The annual flat earth conference is where the community really started to get popular,

and the leaders got the ideas to start youtube channels where they share their flat earth

videos.

After the conference, the organizer, Robbie Davidson, said that logan paul could be the

key to making the flat earth movement more legitimate.

He said 'this is the first step, someone with a huge following putting their name on

the line and saying, you know what I'm almost there, theres a lot of compelling evidence.

Even though this little joke was pretty funny, the flat earth community are sensitive.

They are not going to like the fact that logan paul is making fun of them.

and believe me, I know a thing or two about what happens when you make fun of flat earthers.

I don't think logan paul needs people to hate him even more than they already do.

And by the way, even though he's not a flat earther, he's totally okay with taking their

money.

The flat earthers that do believe logan paul are probably going to start supporting him,

buying his merch, etcetera.

But a daily beast journalist interviewed paul and He said with confidence that logan paul

does not believe the earth is flat.

What do you think, is logan trolling everyone or is he a real flat earther.

Let me know in those comments.

For now im going to do some comment replies.

These were from our video, the dark truth about luxury pranks update.

Jack Shaw – I don't see why peope have to get so angry over an opinion.

10 reasons to cruise to the Mexican Riviera - Duration: 5:41.

Today's video is brought to you by CruiseLine.com and shipmate app did

you know you can research and both your excursions right in the shipmate app

click on Explorer choose your port and browse excursions by destination it's

super simple to read reviews from real cruisers and book your activities right

in the app hey cruisers it's no secret that the cruisetipstv crew loves

cruising out of our home state of California to the Mexican Riviera with

four ports within a five-hour radius of our home we're a little biased here but

I know we're not alone so today we're sharing our top ten reasons to book a

cruise to the Mexican Riviera number one the overall cruise price for most

Mexican Riviera cruises are quite competitive as compared to some other

destinations and there are more cruise lines sailing to Mexico than ever

as of now carnival princess Holland America and Norwegian all cruise to the

Mexican Riviera and we didn't even mention the premium and expedition lines

that venture to the Pacific coast and Sea of Cortez as well number two for

residents of the western US and even Canada cruising to the Mexican Riviera

can be very convenient and cost-effective instead of flying across

the country it can be much faster to either drive or quickly fly to

California to embark on a cruise from San Diego Long Beach

Los Angeles or even San Francisco yes there are four ports in California and

they all have pretty nice cruise terminals number three there's one

constant we love to share with travelers who are considering Mexico for a cruise

or land vacation you are sure to encounter friendly people and excellent

service in Mexico we always truly enjoy the kindness of the residents many of

whom speak English or will attempt to in order to help tourists number four in

addition to that service cruises to the Mexican Riviera offer a laid-back ultra

casual vibe when you're in Mexico it's easy to lose track of time and lose

yourself in a more leisurely way of that can be a little dangerous if you're

not careful to watch the clock when it's time to board the ship at the end of the

port day but hey that is a risk I'm willing to take number five

cruises to the Mexican Riviera generally offer plenty of sea days if the idea of

a port intensive cruise sounds more like a marathon than a vacation to you you

may be pleased to hear that the average 7-night cruise to the Mexican Riviera

has 3 to 4 sea days great for those who want to enjoy some downtime and explore

their ship without that rush feeling number 6 one fact that often surprises

people is that cruises to the Mexican Riviera are available year-round

Carnival Cruise Line currently has three ships sailing from California it's

important to note that two of those ships go to just Ensenada and Catalina

but Carnival Splendor is currently sailing year-round and starting in

December of 2019 Carnival panorama a brand new ship will replace splendour

making year-round five to seven night runs to Cabo Mazatlan and Puerto

Vallarta number seven while the ports may not be as tropical as the Caribbean

cabo san lucas Mazatlan and part of ir to have a ton to offer and what we love

is that they are all different from one another

situated at the tip of the Baja Peninsula Cabo San Lucas has a desert

meets the sea vibe while part of IATA has a more balmy jungle feel and

Mazatlan is somewhere between those two with miles of beaches and tons to

explore earlier we talked in general terms about the lower cruise prices to

Mexico but it should also be mentioned that excursions activities and food in

the Mexican Riviera are typically pretty reasonable as well there are also lots

of free and low-cost things to do for example you can take a water taxi to a

popular beach in Cabo for just a few dollars each way and for the cost of a

cab ride you can head to the boardwalk or a beautiful beach in part of a Arta

and spend as much or as little time and money as you'd like number nine the

shopping in Mexico is awesome from local vanilla to

pottering glassware there's so much fun shopping to be conquered in Mexico you

may actually need an extra suitcase it's also perfectly acceptable to bargain a

little with the vendors just be sure to pack plenty of cash especially small

bills because you may be more tempted than you think

number 10 lastly these cruises offer an excellent opportunity to extend your

vacation because a large amount of things to do in the embarkation ports

cruises to the Mexican Riviera can be a great addition to a visit to California

for example you could plan a trip to Disneyland before or after your cruise

or head to San Diego or Santa Barbara for a few nights of California fun well

thank you all so much for tuning in today we hope you'll share your Mexican

Riviera tips and tricks in the comments below and until next time we'll see you

on the high seas

Samsung Galaxy S10 - 6 CAMERAS! - Duration: 3:48.

So this is what you call going all in.

Samsung is releasing 3 Galaxy S10 models early next year and also a 4th separate limited

5G model and now a new report suggest this 5G Galaxy S10 will be a monster.

WallStreet Journal says that it will have a whopping six cameras -two in the front and

four in the back.

Not only that it'll also have a behemoth of a screen, 6.7" to be exact.

In comparison the regular Galaxy S10+ will have a 6.4" display.

The device is internally known as Beyond X and will be the most expensive Galaxy S10

smartphone for sure, but it'll also be one of the most technologically advanced handsets

ever launched by Samsung.

By the way, this report makes total sense!

A few weeks ago, Samsung's Vice Chairman Lee Jay Yong, personally visited a shop in Europe

where he compared Samsung phone's cameras to other phones and he wasn't very pleased,

not because of any defect with Samsung's camera technology, but lack of different camera features

such as the wide-angle function compared to rivals products.

And he ordered improvement in camera technology for the smartphones.

So the 5G Galaxy S10 with 6 cameras makes total sense.

That said, I'm wondering what the 4th lens at the back is going to be.

The first one is gonna be a regular lens, 2nd is wide angle, 3rd is telephoto and not

sure what the 4th could be...

But a new report from South Korea just came out which suggests the 4th lens is gonna be

TOF-based 3D sensing module.

You might ask, What could a 3D-sensing camera do at the back?

It can help with gesture navigation and create augmented reality experiences, like trying

on new clothes in the virtual domain, or even in placing virtual furniture around the house

in real time and much more.

Apple is also rumored to equip the 2019 iPhones with a 3D-sensing rear sensor for AR/VR purposes.

Interestingly, the report also says that Samsung plans to install this 3D module on the front

as well for 3D face unlock.

The 3D sensor that Apple introduced with the iPhone X is based on structural light but

this TOF based sensor is said to be more advanced than SL in terms of accuracy and distance

measurement.

Since it is the first time Samsung has applied TOF sensor to its smartphone, they're gonna

limit this to the Galaxy S10 5G model but it will also trickle down to the midrange

Galaxy A-series as well.

That being said, Quite an interesting turn of events, to say the least, let's see how

all of this pans out.

So a hands-on video of a device with infinity o display has been leaked.

This is not the Galaxy S10 by the way, it's some Chinese phone not sure which brand.

But this gives us a clear idea how big the front hole on the Galaxy S10 is going to be.

By the way, the S10 will have a hole in the left side corner and not at the middle.

That said, consider subscribing for all the latest Galaxy S10 updates and I'll see you

tomorrow...Peace out!

The Facebook Dilemma: Tessa Lyons - Duration: 33:26.

So if you could situate me back at the moment when this starts brewing for you in terms of having this task, is it in Switzerland or where are we?

What's going on?

So I started at Facebook a little over four years ago and when I joined I was working as the chief of staff for our COO, Sheryl [Sandberg].

And around the time of the [2014] midterm elections I was looking for my next opportunity, my next role.

And I saw the reaction to the midterm elections and the role that Facebook and misinformation had played.

I saw the way it was being talked about externally and I saw and felt the way that we were all dealing with it internally.

And a couple months later I was accompanying Sheryl to the World Economic Forum and we met with policymakers and publishers and other tech companies.

And what I was so struck by was the fact that everyone agreed that this was a huge problem.

But there was no real consensus on the solutions.

And when I say no consensus on the solutions, I don't mean on foreign interference or on fake accounts.

There's a lot of areas where there's lots of clear consensus and we just need to continue to do better to execute.

But I mean no clear consensus on the problem of what do you do if someone shares something on social media that isn't true.

And how do you reconcile what you do with a value of freedom of expression?

And what I was really struck with, coming back from the World Economic Forum, was how many incredibly smart people from around the world were worried about this and how much there was a need for getting clearer solutions and clearer strategies in place.

… What was the thinking inside of the company at that point about misinformation, and had there been any thinking about it?

There'd been a lot of thinking about types of abuse related to elections – about hacking, about malware.

Misinformation really wasn't on our radar the way that those other threats were before the 2016 elections, in the same way that I don't think they were on the radar of a lot of other companies, organizations, governments.

And so we were really shocked and struck by it and, frankly, a little shaken.

And you know, speaking personally, I joined Facebook because I care so much about the mission and because I believe so much in the good that can happen when people do come together.

And it was personally really hard to live through that period.

During the election, over the course of the 2016 election, there was a lot of news about misinformation.

I mean, there was famously: "The pope endorses Trump."

Do you remember that?

Absolutely.

I wasn't working on these issues at the time.

But absolutely, I do remember it.

So how is that not prompting more thinking even then?

It sounds like you're saying after the election happens you're thinking about misinformation all of a sudden.

But what about during the election?

Was there any kind of sense of like: Oh, my goodness, Facebook is getting polluted with misinformation.

Someone should do something about this.

There certainly was and there were people who were thinking about it.

You know, I wasn't yet in the role that I'm in now, so I wasn't the one directly thinking about it.

But in the lead-up to the election, as you're saying, there was increasingly the sense of some of these examples of hoaxes or of false information that was spreading.

What I don't think there was a real awareness of, internally or externally, was the scope of the problem and the right course of action.

And that's where I think we've made a lot of progress since in saying, you know: How do we understand what the problem here is?

How do we define the problem?

How do we actually tackle it in a responsible way?

And how, over time, do we actually measure success?

How will we know if we've been more effective with the upcoming elections than we were with the last elections?

I mean, I've got to say it's a little bit surprising to hear what a surprise it was, in part because I'm a journalist.

And it was well known that Facebook was becoming one of the main distributors of information that American voters or voters all around the world were depending on as an information source.

So how could it be surprising that if you're becoming the world's information source that there may be a problem with misinformation?

There was certainly awareness that there could be problems related to news or quality of news.

There were a few one-off examples of misinformation and I think what matters here is the period that you're talking about.

Right?

So in the months leading up there was certainly more of a conversation about misinformation.

A year ahead of time when we were thinking about what are the biggest threats going to be related to the elections, where do we need to be investing in order to ensure that we're doing all that we can?

I don't think that misinformation was one of the top three concerns.

You know, I think there was a lot of concern about hacking and there was a lot of work done there.

There was a lot of concern about other issues where we made progress and invested.

And I think on the misinformation concern, the concern increased as the election approached.

And I think we all recognized afterwards that of all of the threats that we were considering, whether at Facebook or across other companies or civil society, we focused a lot on threats that weren't misinformation and underinvested in this one.

I mean, at the time of the election was there a way for a Facebook user to be able to discern between what was coming from a credible news source and a noncredible news source?

There is always a way for them to see who the news source is.

Now how they determine which news sources they believe are credible or not, you know, is an ongoing challenge and a challenge because different people would say that different sources are credible.

So we've increased since then a lot of the work that we're doing around transparency to give people more information about the sources that they're seeing – whether that's the admins behind those pages or whether it's additional information about the domain or publisher that's actually behind the article that's being distributed.

But again, I guess if Facebook had been a main information source for people online of news and information, was it easily discernible for a user at that time to know what could've been a hoax or what could've been a fake news source and what was actually a legitimate news source?

I think that the real question is: How do people, when they're seeing information, whether it's on Facebook or off of Facebook, how do they determine the credibility of that information?

But why are they determining it?

Why wouldn't Facebook determine it?

Well, the way that people are mostly using Facebook is to share with their friends and family.

So say you and I were friends on Facebook and you posted an article.

If we're friends and I trust you, then I might be more likely to trust something that you've shared because I'm not thinking about my trust in that publisher.

I'm thinking about my trust in you and our friendship.

And so what you're sharing with me on Facebook, just like what you would tell me if we were sitting down having lunch together, might be more meaningful to me.

And what we have done since the midterm elections is invest more in making sure that people, before they share and then once they've shared and seen things in their News Feed, have more context around the actual sources behind that information.

What was your learning curve like in terms of what experience had you had as you came into this role dealing with a very significant problem?

What was your learning curve like at first?

I think the first real challenge, and to a certain extent it's still a challenge, is: What do we even mean when we're saying fake news or misinformation?

Because you're saying, you know, how can people tell if information is from a legitimate or not legitimate news source.

I bet if you were to make a list of sources that you think are legitimate and another person were to make a list of sources they think are legitimate there wouldn't be perfect overlap. Right?

Now there'd be some things that we'd all agree on.

If a source is, you know, a financially-motivated scammer, we'd all agree that that's a problem and that's, you know, something that we've made progress on.

If a source was actually, you know, foreign agents operating as if they were a publisher, obviously a problem, obviously something that we need to solve, obviously something we made progress on.

But if it's a news publisher, people are going to have different ideas about what they trust and not trust.

And for a given publisher what we see a lot of is some information is accurate, some information is sensationalized, and some information is in some cases fully fabricated or erroneous and false.

And so the lack of clear definitions around this problem is part of what makes it really, really hard to tackle.

And so I mean, what was the scramble like internally here?

Is it Sheryl just says: Here, Tessa, go handle this.

Like bring me in a little bit to what this moment was like for you personally and, you know, kind of what the tenor of the company was like at that point in time.

There'd been teams working on abuse for a long time, but for the most part the people who were focused on abuse were the teams themselves that were doing it.

And I think what really shifted was that we all recognized that this was a challenge that we had to face and solve together.

And so instead of it being a conversation that was happening among, you know, the teams that had been tasked with it, it became a conversation that we were all having and all wondering what role we as individuals had to play in the solutions.

And as teams were scaling up and new teams were either being created or growing, I talked to Sheryl and talked to other mentors about how I could get involved in helping to turn what was a problem we all agreed we had to tackle into clear solutions and strategies.

And I started by moving into the News Feed team to work as a product manager on the team specifically tasked with misinformation, which we define as information that's demonstrably false.

OK, and what did you learn there?

What happens there?

I mean, so they were already studying this problem?

When I joined, the team was already working on this problem.

And still, I mean, coming back to the challenge of definitions like, you know, we first had to figure out how are we going to define this broad problem space.

And so what we did is we thought about all the different teams at Facebook that were working on abuse and where we had gaps.

And we structured the different problems into three big categories.

So we talked about problematic actors like fake accounts, problematic behavior like coordinated, inauthentic activity, and problematic content like misinformation or content that's false.

And what we said was OK, most of the time these problems don't manifest in silos.

They normally happen with some combination of bad actors, bad behavior, bad content.

But how can we build up teams who are experts in these areas and then create the structures that they need to be able to collaborate effectively in order to solve these problems?

So what we started with on the misinformation side was measuring, you know, how much of the misinformation is coming from what types of tactics, what types of actors or behaviors.

And what we saw was that a lot of it was financially motivated.

And the way that that was working was financially-motivated scammers would create articles from websites that they would share on Facebook.

And their goal was to get people on Facebook to click on those links because once they clicked on those links, they would go to the websites where these spammers could monetize with ads.

And because we saw how much it was coming from financially-motivated scammers we said: OK, what is the full process by which that happens and how can we go after the actors and the behaviors and the tactics that they're using in order to reduce it?

And that's an area where we've made a lot of progress, but we also knew that there were a lot of other parts of the misinformation problem.

You know, there's misinformation that spreads in photos and videos that's not in links.

There's misinformation that we know is about politics, which have been a lot of the conversation.

But there's also misinformation about health and other topics.

And so while we continue to prioritize where we can have the most impact, we were also studying what the other challenges and areas were that we needed to be getting ahead of.

And I think what I've learned since then, you know, I came into this job asking myself: How long is it going to take us to solve this?

And the answer is this isn't a problem that you solve.

It's a problem that you contain, because there will always be people who are motivated to share misinformation, whether their motivations are financial or whether their motivations are political and ideological.

And misinformation's always existed before social media and it will exist well into the next generations of social media.

And what we have to do, what we have a responsibility to our community to do well, is to do everything we can to make it as hard as possible for that misinformation to thrive on Facebook, which it had been able to do in part because of the way that our platform worked.

In what respect?

I mean, that's interesting to me.

Like what were you discovering about how the platform worked that enabled misinformation to spread so easily?

Say you and I are friends and I share a link. Right?

And it's really, really sensational but you trust me and so you think: Look, if Tessa's sharing this then there's something here.

You might say, therefore, because it's so sensational that you definitely want to click on it and find out what happened.

Or you might say that you want to share it with your community because you're so shocked by it.

And if you click on it or if you share it, that was a signal to us that it was interesting and engaging.

And when people come to News Feed, we want them to connect with the information shared by their friends and family that's most meaningful and relevant to them.

And engaging.

And engaging because oftentimes engagement is correlated to what they find meaningful. Right?

If you read a full article it might be more meaningful to you than if you just scroll past it.

But if we look at those signals alone, those signals of how someone interacts with information in their News Feed, we could miss the fact that sometimes the fact that they were sharing it was because it was actually shocking and not true; or the reason they were clicking on it was because they were so surprised by what it was claiming to be.

And what we've learned is, you know, you look at how people actually behave and what they do on Facebook versus if you spend time asking them after the fact, you know, was this information actually meaningful to you.

If you look at clickbait for example, take one specific example.

People are really likely to click on clickbait headlines because clickbait headlines are designed to make people more likely to click on them.

But when we ask people what their main complaints were about News Feed, the number one complaint that we heard was clickbait.

So if we look at the engagement data alone, the algorithm on News Feed will prioritize information people are clicking on.

But once we understand that that's not actually creating a good experience for people and it's not what they want, we recognize that there was a discrepancy that we needed to correct.

And the same is true of misinformation and other problem areas.

… I've heard warnings about the problem with an engagement-driven algorithm going back to like 2011, about it incentivizing or basically rewarding misinformation on the platform – that rumors could go viral, that all sorts of really incendiary content or polarizing content could go viral.

Is this really the first time this is being studied internally – the fact that an engagement-driven algorithm is essentially spreading misinformation or rumors in some cases?

We had launches related to clickbait and other associated issues long before the election.

I was just using it as an example of where, if you look at people's engagement directly, there is a discrepancy which is, I think, really proving your point that we did look at that data.

And we did understand that looking at engagement alone wasn't sufficient to understand the true value and meaning that people were getting out of their feed experience.

Now at the same time …

But you were realizing this when?

The work on clickbait started well before the election.

I was – it's an easier anecdote because I don't want to use my analogy that I think you're likely to click on misinformation.

But it's easier to use my analogy that I think you're likely to click on clickbait.

Well, why wouldn't you say that?

About you.

About if you were talking with some like …

OK. Oh, I see. OK. All right.

But people are very likely to click on misinformation, right, because it's shocking or sensational.

And yet the information, the experience that they have when they read it and realize that it's not true is a bad experience and not the experience that they expect from Facebook, and not the experience that we want to provide.

But I think the bigger issue here is what we're doing now and how we're going to be able to tackle this.

And there's a tension that I think we have to acknowledge, which is we believe strongly in free expression.

And we believe strongly in the benefits of bringing people together.

But we also recognize the role that we have to play in ensuring that our platform isn't abused by people who are, frankly, trying to abuse those values – the value of free expression or the value of having people come together.

And that's really hard personally to reckon, to deal with, and had been hard for us to deal with.

And so we have to figure out how we can take steps to fight that abuse, to stay ahead of it, because we know that the tactics that are being used are constantly going to evolve, while also staying true to the values that we have.

… You know, I think the election was this milestone that, you know, a lot of people think about, right, because there was a period where a lot of the conversation was about misinformation, was about Facebook, was about how social media in general was being used [and] its relationship with democracy.

And I do acknowledge that that was a moment in time that was a wake-up for us, or for me at least.

I hadn't been working closely on these issues and so I hadn't heard the external conversation.

You know, it had started to increase maybe in the lead-up to the election.

But the actual conversation around that period was a really pivotal moment for me in coming to understand these issues and the responsibility that we had.

But because these issues are so complicated and because this company has been around now for more than a decade, it's not as if there was one moment where we started thinking about safety, security and abuse.

We've been thinking about those issues for a long time, but I think it's changed recently.

I think it's changed because we've seen that our influence has grown a lot from where it was, you know, a decade ago.

We've seen that the complexity of the challenges that we are now faced with have really increased.

And we've acknowledged that at first we were — and I was — too idealistic about our mission and too idealistic about the role that we were having in the world.

Now I still believe firmly in that mission and I still believe firmly that we have a positive role to play to bring people closer together.

But I am a lot more aware now than I was two years ago of how that mission has been abused and can be abused.

And it's scary, when you feel deeply committed to something, to see how things can go wrong and to hear from people who you love – from my family, from my friends – [that] the view that they had of Facebook three years ago is really different than the view that they have now.

And I recognize that and I hear in them their disappointment in us, their frustration and their confusion, of why some of these things we've been too slow to act on.

And that affects me.

But what it really does is it makes me aware of the problems that we have and it makes me feel a deep sense of resolve to try to address them.

And I don't think that we have it all figured out.

I think, first of all, that there's going to be challenges that maybe you'll say two years from now were obvious to you sitting here; that we might not have invested in enough.

And so we need to learn from the mistakes we've made in the past and make sure that we're staying ahead of those threats going forward.

And you know, I don't think that that means there's going to be some point in time, some magical meeting that we all sit in and say: We have to take this seriously.

It's an evolution of watching the threats evolve and waking up to our own responsibilities and trying to navigate them in a way that doesn't have unintended consequences.

Because I think the other thing that goes back to our concerns—what I said originally about recognizing that at first maybe we were too — recognizing that at first we were too idealistic about things.

We're a lot more aware now of the unintended consequences of our actions.

And in some cases that means being more aware of the unintended consequences of the actions that we're taking to try to fight these problems.

So what sorts of things in the fight against misinformation are you concerned that you could overstep?

Or what would it be that Facebook does that's overboard?

I think there's a real concern in misinformation, because of how broadly defined it is, that you start to limit speech.

And that people, you know, if you think about conversations that you have with your friends or even conversations that you have as a journalist, you'll often try to express [an] opinion or make points using different pieces of facts or different pieces of information that might be slightly taken out of context.

And there's really a large spectrum between that, which we all do, and just fabricating entirely false information.

And the challenge for us isn't in the totally fabricated misinformation that, you know, someone's dead or some event never happened.

But it is in the area of, you know: What do you do if someone takes a photo of a refugee and suggests that that photo is taking place today in order to mobilize people to care about refugees?

Now what they're doing is trying to motivate people around an important issue.

And in some ways, that's what's been done for years in how we communicate and share with each other.

But you also have to recognize that they're taking something out of context in a way that could be very misleading to people.

And so I think on some of these issues, we're aware of the fact that while we do everything we can to try to fight and reduce the amount of misinformation, we know that people who are using it as a tactic will get more and more sophisticated and bring it closer and closer to speech, or bring it into formats or smaller groups.

And we need to understand how we can stay ahead of this fight without limiting people's ability to connect and share in their communities.

What about this election coming up?

I mean what's your biggest concern when it comes to misinformation?

What's the biggest threat on Facebook at the moment when it comes to midterm elections?

You know, I think one of the threats that we have right now is that we've made a lot of progress on links, on misinformation that's spread in links.

And we did that because it was the most prevalent area and it was the area that was used for the financially-motivated scammers, so we wanted to disrupt it.

But misinformation isn't contained to links.

So the work that we've done, particularly the fact-checking work, but even other work that we've done to try to better understand, you know, things like clickbait and sensationalism, I think we're behind on really understanding that work in some of the areas of photos and videos.

And that's something that we've now been spending a lot of time on and that we need to make more progress on going into the elections.

So what is the work exactly on photos and videos that needs to be done?

Are you talking about actually combing through photos and videos on Facebook and trying to figure out what's misinformation?

Well, if the same claim, if the same false claim that so-and-so is dead or so-and-so did X, if that's spreading in a link, we're getting better now at being able to detect it, to reduce its distribution and, when fact-checkers read it, to provide more context around it.

But that same claim could also spread in a photo or in a video.

And right now our work with fact-checkers is focused on links.

And so if that were to spread in a photo, we wouldn't have the systems in place at the moment to detect it as potentially misinformation for them to review, to have them review and rate it and to reduce it and show more context around it.

But we've seen that as we've made progress on links, there's more and more misinformation that migrates to other formats.

And so we know that and we knew that at the time, and that's why we started the work on photos and videos.

But at any given moment, you're farther ahead in some areas than others.

And so at the moment, I think we're in pretty good shape on links and have more work to do on photos and videos.

And your boss, Sheryl, testified at Congress recently and was asked about "deepfakes," these videos that are completely fabricated – things that people actually didn't say but they've been made to say in fabricated videos.

Is that on your radar for this election coming up?

It's absolutely on our radar.

It's something that we are working on both in terms of technology and in terms of human review.

So on the technology side, being able to identify that a video is manipulated.

And on the human review side, making sure that we have the systems in place, whether it's our own community reviewers looking for community standards, violations, or the fact-checkers that we work with, being able to review videos.

We're working on all of that.

Now at the same time that we have to think about getting ahead of future threats, we also need to make sure that the conversations that we're having internally and the work that we're doing are about the actual issues that we're seeing and not necessarily just driven by the conversations happening externally.

So the degree to which deepfakes are a problem on Facebook today, versus just photos that are taken out of context or photos that are used with different text captions, I'm a lot more worried at the moment about those problems because they're more prevalent.

A deepfake is still pretty hard to create and we're not seeing them as much.

Now while we invest in getting ahead of them so that we don't find ourselves behind, we need to make sure that we're also focused on the things that we're seeing on the platform now.

And how do you even measure whether you're doing a good job or not?

This is one of the most challenging things because it goes back to how do you even define the problem.

And when I first took on this job, one of the first things I did was spend a lot of time with academics and experts who work on misinformation to try to get myself up to speed as quickly as possible.

And what I was struck by was just the lack of consensus on the definition of misinformation and the way to measure it.

And so what we've done is we've said that we're not going to solve this problem alone.

We're not going to solve the measurement and definition of this problem, let alone the actual way that we fight it.

And so on the measurement and definition, we have been working with a group of academics to make a lot more data available to them in a privacy-protective way.

So that they'll actually be able to get a data set of all of the links shared on Facebook since the beginning of 2017, including the links for which we have fact-checkers that have rated them false.

And we're working with them and asking them to help come up with some of the different ways to measure the volume and effects of misinformation.

Now we have tactics of doing this ourselves, but we want to make sure that we have measurements that are externally defensible and believed so that we can evaluate our progress over time and see: is there actually less misinformation on Facebook now than there was X number of months ago.

And if not, why not?

And if so, what were the steps that we took that effectively reduced that amount?

And part of what we have to understand too is, when we're measuring the amount, are we talking about the number of links, the number of people who clicked on the links, the number of people who saw the links, the number of unique individuals?

There's a whole conversation there.

We need to be much more robust about how we measure and evaluate the impact of misinformation.

… Do you think that at this point, we actually have an understanding of the role that misinformation played in the 2016 election?

I think at the moment there's a lot more work to be done to understand that impact.

Are you doing that work?

Absolutely, and other academics are as well.

But I think the challenge is, you know, there's a lot of variables that go into an election and it can be difficult to try to isolate them and to try to understand how much any one factor contributed.

And there's been a lot of progress in academic literature in the last couple of years.

But I think there's still a lot of work to do.

We're talking to a lot of academics about the importance of that work.

And we're also trying to make sure that we're learning as much as we can for the elections that are coming up, not just in the U.S. but around the world.

I was going to ask, how in the world do you police this, I mean, at scale?

You've got 2.2 billion people on this platform, billions of pieces of content shared every day.

How do you possibly police this platform for misinformation when you're dealing in so many languages all over the place, so many different people, and potentially so many different definitions for what actually is misinformation?

It is really challenging at the scale of having over 2 billion people.

What we do across all of the abuse problems that we're fighting, including misinformation, is use a combination of technology and human review.

So when it comes to misinformation, we can use technology to predict and prioritize things for human review by third-party fact-checkers.

But we can also use technology to understand the patterns and behaviors that lead to things being spread as misinformation – the tactics that are being used or the types of actors that are behind it.

And in order to really fight this at scale, we can't just be playing a game of Whac-A-Mole.

We can't just let a piece of misinformation pop up and spread and then catch it.

It's always going to be easier and faster to create fake information than to debunk in a thoughtful and evidence-based way why that information is inaccurate.

So we know the Whac-A-Mole strategy is not effective.

But what we can do and what we can scale is understand, by looking at individual examples of misinformation, the pages and the domains behind it, and start to understand the patterns behind those pages and domains repeatedly engaging in spreading that misinformation; and then dramatically reducing the distribution of those pages and domains, their ability to advertise, their ability to monetize, so that they can no longer be weaponized to spread misinformation at scale.

How many fact-checkers do you have?

We partner with 27 different organizations around the world.

And is that effective?

Fact-checking is just one part of the strategy for fighting misinformation.

I think it gets a lot of time, it takes up a lot of the conversation because it's working with external partners and it's visible within the product.

But when we think about the toolkit for fighting misinformation, it goes back to the actors, behaviors and content.

So on the actor side, fake accounts are one of the most valuable ways that we can go after misinformation because they're often involved in seeding and spreading it.

… One of the really hard calls is: Should we remove misinformation, not just reduce it, but actually remove it?

And here's how we think about that.

When we think about the abuse on our platform, there's really three actions that we can take.

We can remove things entirely.

We can reduce their distribution, which means showing them lower in News Feed so that fewer people see them but they still exist.

Or we can give people more information around them.

More context about who's behind it or other perspectives.

We've made the decision to not remove misinformation.

Now the reason that we made that decision is because we think there's a tension between the value of freedom of expression and the interest that we all have in ensuring that people see the accurate information that they want.

But we do remove a lot of the things that are associated with misinformation like fake accounts, the spammy behavior that goes into spreading it, pages that are violating our community standards.

And by removing those things, we make progress in reducing the overall amount of misinformation.

But if a real person who's their authentic self on Facebook shares something that is false, we don't believe that we should remove it because we believe that part of expression also means being able to say things that aren't true.

And we believe that no one company should decide everything that is or isn't true.

Not that's a real tension that we wrestle with.

And when you see some examples of misinformation you think, surely that one you should remove.

But when you think about the gray area that exists, that's where we've landed where we have.

And who's making the call about what's true or what's not true?

It's not you?

The decision about the veracity of a piece of content, which is one of the tactics that we're using, is made by independent, third-party fact-checkers.

What we do is prioritize things for them to review.

And we do that based on signals like feedback from the community.

If people say that — on any piece of information that you see in your News Feed, you can give us feedback that you think it's false.

And that's one piece of – that's one type of signal that we use to prioritize information for fact-checkers.

We have another decision to make, which is we could send very little to fact-checkers and have a higher amount of it actually end up being false, which might be a better use of their time.

But that means that we would leave out other things that we might not have had as accurate a prediction on, or might've only had an accurate prediction on it later once it had already [had] too many views.

So when we send things to fact-checkers we know that some of them are going to be true and some of them are going to be false based on those fact-checkers' judgments.

But that's another hard call that we have to make, of how much to send and how to prioritize.

Kobe Bryant to Channel Lil Wayne if Forced to Testify Over 'Black Mamba' Moniker | Heavy.com - Duration: 6:46.

Kobe Bryant to Channel Lil Wayne if Forced to Testify Over 'Black Mamba' Moniker | Heavy.com

After a 20-season, five-time championship career as a member of the most revered sports franchises in human history, Kobe Bryant has definitely earned the moniker 'Black Mamba'.

Even the most casual basketball fans know that Black Mamba has become a nickname of his for his death-blowing style of play.

Unfortunately, for him and his personal brand, a pharmaceutical company by the name of, Hi-Tech, doesn't know that.

Kobe Bryant vs.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals: Winner Takes 'Black Mamba'.

According to court documents attained by The Blast, Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals is currently in a trademark battle with Kobe Bryant over his notorious moniker, 'Black Mamba', and have filed for a motion to compel.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals is claiming that Kobe Bryant has documents in his possession that could possibly support them in their case.

The drug company reached out to Bryant's legal team stating that they plan to depose Kobe Bryant.

However, Bryant's attorney thoroughly rejected a meeting with the company and their legal advisors and offered hand-written answers to any of the questions they choose to ask the Lakers' legend.

According to The Blast, Kobe Bean's lawyer told the Hi-Tech representatives the following.

"Deposing Kobe Bryant would be like Lil Wayne's deposition … it would be just like that – he'd just be saying 'I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.

Kobe's ballsy attorney also added,.

"You can try, but it's never going to happen.

This is Kobe Bryant we are talking about – not some 'Mom and Pop' shop.

For those of you unaware of the classic Lil Wayne deposition video Kobe Bryant's lawyer was referring to, look no further.

Check out the full-clip provided by TMZ below.

Lil Wayne's Classic Deposition Video.

This leaked footage of Lil Wayne delivering his classic testimony back in June 2012, has become of the most notorious court documents of a celebrity made public in recent years.

In the clip, Tunechi can be seen giving prosecutors lackadaisical and nonchalant answers to their questions.

He cleaned his nails, pretended not to know who Willie Nelson is, he even told the prosecutor present that 'the judge can't save him in the real world' to which the prosecution appropriately took as a threat.

Lil Wayne is known as a New Orleans-bred blood gang representative while Kobe Bryant is known for collecting rings and getting buckets.

Wayne's deposition is expected with said lifestyle, so, with Kobe's attorney claiming he would channel his best Lil Wayne impression if forced to testify, it would make for quality court entertainment.

We have a feeling Kobe has it in him to be as dick-ish as Lil Wayne in a court of law.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Gets to Black Mamba First?.

Back in 2015, Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals filed to trademark the name 'Black Mamba HYPERRUSH' for a special brand of ephedra-based diet pills.

Kobe Bryant followed up on his 'Black Mamba' trademark license the next year in 2016.

Since then, Bryant's legal team and Hi-Tech have been battling each other for the trademark rights of the now-notorious moniker.

Bryant urged the courts to reject their licensing in fear it could confuse consumers and harm his personal brand.

The 15x All-NBA Team member also eluded to the fact that Nike occasionally utilizes the term 'Hyper' in conjunction with his 'Black Mamba' athletic apparel/sneakers and doesn't want to mislead consumers with his product and Hi-Tech's diet pill.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals is claiming that Kobe Bryant and his legal advisors are attempting to bully their organization and accusing the basketball legend of maliciously attempting to block their registration.

As of right now, there's word on whether or not a Kobe Bryant deposition will come to fruition in the near future. Stick with Heavy.

as details unfold.

then we've got a really cool graphic on the front two of the black t-rex Zord

from the movie actually from the TV show sorry I keep saying movie but I mean TV

show then here's the charger unlocks the battle mode and the funny thing is they

didn't change the picture they kept it the black t-rex picture

okay let's open this up have some fun and so this is what is included in the

package it's very similar to the other t-rex

Zords except for the fact that it has like the

firing pin and a top which is what the spinal Zord also has okay let's go ahead

and put this guy together and we're gonna also go ahead and listen to his

cartridge and scan it into the app okay guys this yellow limited edition t-rex

Zord looks totally awesome and we're gonna go ahead and take a look at all

his features I'm gonna morph him into a mega Zoid

we're gonna take a look at his cartridge we're gonna add it to the Power Ranger

ah Dino charge app and we're gonna listen to it on the Morpher so let's get

started that's a lot to do okay first Wow let's take a look first

of all we're gonna take a look at his action feature with the power off

cartridge so go ahead and open his mouth push it in there this one is pretty

simple it's like the other t-rex is absorbed basically this crown on his

head pops up when you close the mouth I mean that's the only action feature you

get from the cartridge let's take a look at the guy himself so I mean he does

look totally awesome I like the yellow color scheme here's

the better look at him

let me know which one of these three you like more because I think they're all

and before we move on here's a look at all the t-rex swords I have you have the

limited edition green one here the limited edition deluxe yellow one

and the regular red one there I'm gonna go ahead and morph all those into mega

Zoids later on in this episode and before we can before I do that let's go

ahead and take a look at the cartridge itself so it has three pictures if you

dude fast it's almost like it's almost like it's moving oh this is similar to

the regular Tyrannosaurus Rex one except it's not red it's a black cartridge okay

then next let's go ahead and add the cartridge to the app and scan the QR

code

see if it's any different it's probably going to be very similar to the t-rex

one okay so it is showing a block t-rex cartridge also which is cool

okay so it does say black Tyrannosaurus t-rex charge which is kind of weird

because it's yellow okay but the cool thing about the app is you have

everything in one location you have all your cartridges and you could click on

it to move between pictures just like you do if you're clicking on the

cartridge and like I said all your cartridges in one location so here you

can see I've got a lot of cartridges here so that that is an awesome app guys

if you don't have it off go to the App Store and search for a Dino super charge

it should be the first one that pops up and then I got a more four here let's go

ahead and pop the cartridge in and listen to it so it's it's the same

sounds as you get from any of the t-rex chargers okay then we're gonna go ahead

and morph the gay

okay and there he is morphed in mega Zoid form and he looks awesome

okay then let's start from the top top down basically he's in a regular t-rex

or Megas t-rex Zord it's pretty much the same form except it is the yellow

limited dish and here's a good look and a good look from the back okay then I'm

gonna go ahead and morph the green one and the red one

okay and then there is the green t-rex sword in his mega Zoid form let's take a

closer look at him I got a full review on this guy if you go to the end of the

video and check out my Power Rangers playlist I got all of the episodes in

there well then here's a good look at him from the back this is the t-rex Zord

limited edition and then here is the red t-rex mega Zoid and he looks totally

awesome too so we got him all transformed I also got a full review on

him and all the the ones that are attached to him at the end of this video

in a playlist so here we have all the t-rex Zord 'he's transformed into mega

Zoids and let me know in the comment section which one is your favor it's a

hard choice between the yellow and the green for me because I sort of like both

of those they look really cool very bright nice color schemes I really like

that they went with the yellow and the black on the deluxe one so that looks

really cool to me and then you could have some cool battles with these guys

too
