Octo U app - Duration: 3:51.Hi!
My name is Antonio Smedile and today I'll tell you about my client Octo Telematics.
As you can see this is a very UN-professional video but working with NCA's we learn how
to get the best with the least…, you know right?
So, what's Octo: it's the worldwide leading company in Insurance telematics, working with
more than 150 car insurances and 3.7 million drivers.
Octo has the largest client and miles data base: they are a truly big data company and
an Internet of Things company also!
In fact, they collect more than 200.000 data points per minute, with their boxes installed
under cars hood.
Through the boxes they collect position, velocity and acceleration of the vehicle, transmitting
them to their data center.
With analytics they deliver insights to insurances: how to distinguish between real or fake crash
for fraud management, reliable or foolish drivers for policy charge, insurance claims
management, stolen vehicles recovery.
And to the drivers?
They provide emergency services, lower insurance charge, faster refunds and now?…
weather conditions too!
Octo's new strategy is to directly address the end-users, so what's best than mobile?
To match their strategy (end-users, better driver profiling, mobile) with our newest
solution portfolio (Insight as a Service) I've proposed Octo to include our Weather
data streams in their new app called OctoU.
In this way they get 3 results:
1) more precise driver profiling: driving at 40 kms per hour on an icy road or in a
foggy night can be more dangerous then driving at 70 in a sunny day and
2) they build a drivers database providing in turn FREE services like current weather
condition, forecast along the route and, in case, alternative suggested routes, emergency
alerts (thunderstorms, floods and so on).
3) They will be able to provide more fee-based services to insurances.
Their target is to get 100.000 OctoU downloads in the next couple of months.
As you know cars make you happy only twice: when you buy it... and when you sell it!
This app provides fun even in between!
Now let me send you a subliminal message you're eyes won't see but your brain will…
It's for free and you'll find out if you drive better or worse than your mates with
its gamification features.
It will provide you useful advices and, if you wish, even a cheaper insurance for your
car.
So why IBM…
1) IBM was the only one company able to provide, thanks to The Weather Company alliance, very
detailed and accurate historical, current and future weather conditions together with…
2) An incredible analytics portfolio (Netezza, Datastage, Streams to name a few)
3) Last but not least…
OctoU runs on Softlayer…
We did everything last August in a couple of weeks: we've closed the first weather
contract at Worldwide level and we've designed and deployed the Softlayer infrastructure
in time for the Silverstone moto GP in UK.
We've had the opportunity to work with client's LoB's: marketing, digital and sales and
I'm now arranging meetings between Octo's mktg managers and some other customers of
mine to build new partnerships.
So IBM is now perceived not only as a technology provider but also as a new-business generating
partner.
What's next:
1) Octo will present the new version of OctoU in Las Vegas at the Insight event, being the
only Italian client on stage at the so called "supersession"
2) We are proposing to Octo additional weather-data packages like weather visualizations, hails,
snow, pollution and so on…
3) We are working on new proposals with Netezza and Softlayer
Octo is an official reference so if you need to mention it, show videos, multimedia material
or even arrange a call, feel free to contact me.
Looking forward hearing from you…
Ciao!

Nữ Quyền 2.0 - Duration: 5:10.I want to talk to you about a new feminism for the 21st century.
There are three pillars to this new feminism: Dignity.
The word "no." And men. That's right, men.
But before I expound on these three ideas, you need to know something about me. I was
very involved in the feminist movement, including being on the board of directors of the National
Organization for Women. For this I feel much pride and some guilt. Pride because feminism
has pushed forward some very important and needed changes; and guilt because it also
has done a lot of damage. My work now is to reverse that damage.
In that spirit, let's talk about the first pillar of this new feminism: dignity.
Dignity is at the core of what feminism should always be about. Dignity means that a woman
should be able to freely choose her own path in life. That's what feminism once held.
But does it still? Ask almost any female college student today what she aspires to be and she'll
list any number of career choices. The one she won't list is wife and mother. In fact
any time someone has the temerity to suggest that a woman might want to look for a husband
while in college, as a very successful Princeton grad recently did in a letter to the school's
newspaper, feminists go nuts. A new feminism will value and respect all
responsible choices. And while we're talking about dignity, I can't
think of anything less dignified for women than the feminist belief that in the sexual
arena, women are like, and therefore ought to act like, men. Is this what the truly liberated
woman wants? To have casual sex and think nothing of it like men do? That's what feminism
aspires to? Sad to say the answer has too often been yes. So, let's add this up: Feminism
has downplayed the desire for women to have a family while at the same time hyping the
rewards of career and casual sex. Not exactly a recipe for success or happiness.
The second pillar of a new feminism is the word "no." It's very much tied in with the
first pillar. Throughout history women made great use of
the word "no." Of course many times women said "yes" when they should have said no,
and that's the basis of more than a few classic stories and novels. But this was the exception,
not the rule. There is great power in that word "no." And women, for the most part, knew
how to wield that power. But in the last few decades they've lost it. And the consequences
have been catastrophic. Women, who fought not to be treated as sex
objects, have become more objectified than ever. You see it everywhere: in music videos,
on billboards, in the hookup culture on campuses.
And now we have the tawdry spectacle of teenage girls sexually
pursuing teenage boys the way boys pursued girls. How did this happen? Because feminism
began to advocate that women should behave like men. Whatever men did and however they
did it, that's what women should do. Feminists were angry at men - but they wanted to be
like them at the same time. No wonder our society is so confused.
Women are robbing themselves of the ability to say no; the solution is to take that power
back. This is especially true for young women. Saying "no" means, I will not be defined by
anyone else - not by feminists, and not by men's sexual desires. That's female power.
This is a good segue to my third pillar of a new feminism - men. It is easy for feminists
to forget this, but it was men who gave up their monopoly on political power and gave
women the right to vote, men who invented birth control, the refrigerator, the washing
machine, and so many other devices that liberated women.
And men are different from women. Academics like to speculate that men and women are basically
the same, that they're only socialized differently, but as George Orwell famously noted: that's
an idea that only an intellectual would be foolish enough to believe. Moreover, the sexes
need each other. For example, women civilize men. It's what we are supposed to do.
But in order to accomplish this critical task, We must preserve our dignity,
Not be afraid to use the word no, And, see men as partners, not as competitors,
let alone oppressors. That's the way to a new feminism. And the
way to a better world for both sexes.

Ash Ketchum's Childhood EXPLAINED! - Duration: 10:35.Hey guys, HDvee here!
Now we all know about Ash Ketchum, he travels around with his trusty Pikachu, catches Pokemon,
wins gym badges, meets Legendary Pokemon, doesn't age at all, you know, those kinds
of things.
However, at one point in his life, Ash Ketchum did actually age and he was once a child.
With that being said, today's video takes a look at the life of Ash Ketchum before becoming
a Pokemon Trainer, looking at what he was like to a child, all the way up to his education.
How do we find out all of this information though?
Seeing as the anime barely goes into it at all, well, Takeshi Shudo, creator of the Pokémon
anime, published in 1997 and in 1999 two books in which he revealed some of the greatest
secrets of the Pokémon anime.
These secrets hide many details about the characters of the animated series and also
clarify several inconsistencies in the episodes.
Do note though that the informations that Shudo reported in these books are not another
version of the anime, but informations that, for various reasons, Shudo could not explain
in the episodes.
Unfortunately, them being old books and being available only in the Japanese language, it
is extremely difficult to find the full translations.
However, after a thorough search on the internet, there are comprehensive summaries of the most
important information.
Don't hesitate to drop a comment down below about the video and if you found it interesting
or not!
Don't forget to leave a like on this video too to show your support and I'll be sure
to bring out a new video very shortly.
Make sure to subscribe if you haven't already to keep up to date and without further ado
let's get into the video and I really hope that you enjoy!
Okay so starting things off, we have to go all the way back to the very beginning, before
Ash Ketchum was even born in fact, and that starts with Ash's parents.
Although Ash's life has always been very happy, his family situation doesn't exactly
look very good.
The reason for which Ash's parents are separated is that his father abandoned the family, leaving
a young 19-year old Delia alone.
As for Ash's grandparents, it is only known that Delia's father abandoned the family
to become a Pokémon trainer when she was little, while her mother died due to an illness
when Delia was pregnant with Ash.
In the whole story, the character who arises the most curiosity is the mysterious father
of Ash, but before talking about him, it's necessary to get to know Delia better.
Delia is Ash's mother.
The relationship between them is more like a relationship between brother and sister
than the one between a mother and child, because of the young age when Delia gave birth to
Ash.
She is an always-cheerful and full of energy woman.
Ash, indeed, inherited his naughty side from her.
She can also be very strict with her son, especially for what regards politeness.
Delia actually wanted to become a Pokémon trainer, but because of the inn and Ash's
birth she could never leave.
So she just studied Pokémon in Professor Oak's laboratory, where she met his friend
Spencer Hale as seen in the third movie.
As for Ash's father, he is a Pokémon Trainer currently traveling in a faraway land.
Delia knew him in her inn, when she was 18 and her mother was still alive.
He was a traveler and aspiring Pokémon Trainer.
The two fell in love and their relationship became rapidly stronger, so that within the
same year they got married.
When Ash was born, Delia was only 19 years old.
The man, however, left Pallet Town right after Ash's birth and never came back.
For this reason, Delia got very angry and promised herself to ignore Ash's father
even if he came back.
However, over the years, after her husband's disappearance, Delia received more than a
hundred proposals from other men but she refused them all, because she actually never wanted
to divorce from Ash's father.
When Ash was a child, he often asked about his father, he was always wondering what he
was doing and where he was, but Delia, obviously, wasn't able to answer to these questions,
so she just told Ash how exceptional his dad was as a trainer.
The writers of the Pokémon Anime promised to 4Kids that by the fifth season they would
introduce Ash's father, but as we all know, it's never happened.
So, that's pretty much everything to do with the birth of Ash Ketchum, now let's get
into his childhood.
Ash Ketchum was a very lively and naughty child, in fact, he loved playing around and
causing mischief.
Delia told him off when he caused too much trouble, but she never forced him to focus
on his studies.
Ash became rebellious for the first time around the age of three.
Ash attended maternal and primary school in Pallet Town, unlike Gary, who decided to attend
an elementary school in the nearby town.
Since he's a member of the Oak family, he didn't want to attend the small primary
school of Pallet Town.
Every day he had a two hour journey to get to and from school.
Ash could not stand Gary, but at the same time he didn't give too much weight to his
attitudes of superiority, because in a way he was sympathetic towards him.
On the other hand, with a father and grandfather who were complete failures, it's quite possible
that Gary thought that Ash was quite pitiable himself.
When bullies picked on Ash in maternal and elementary school, he'd get the teachers
or the bully's father to tell them off.
Or well, if the bully's father wouldn't tell them off, he'd make sure the teacher
did.
The problem of bullying was finally resolved by Delia, who talked to bullies' fathers
and urged them to solve their conjugal problems.
Having a happier family, bullies gradually stopped targeting Ash, who could devote himself
to his pranks again.
Ash always played alone while having fun with rather dangerous games like climbing trees
and descending from the hills on wooden boards.
He also loved fishing and hunting insects.
As for Professor Oak, Initially, Ash didn't know much about the man, he had only seen
him a few times, at night, while he used to go to the inn that his mother owned, in which
he went there just to eat pre-cooked meals while reading a book.
Ash didn't have chance to talk with the Professor just because in that moment, Ash
must have been sleeping.
As time passed he had the opportunity of knowing him better, because he's always been Delia's
close friend and Gary's grandfather.
The two families spent a lot of time together, also going to the Cinema.
Later on, Professor Oak organized a Pokémon Summer Camp, to which, obviously, Ash participated.
It is there where he meets Serena, a girl he meets again in the Kalos region.
Serena fell on the ground and hurt her knee, but then Ash intervened.
He tied a handkerchief and gently applied it to her knee and helped her to stand up,
accompanying her to the camp, from which she got lost.
The little girl was impressed by Ash's kindness and immediately had a crush on him, but unfortunately,
once the camp ended, she had no way of seeing him again.
Now that's all out of the way, let's get into what Ash Ketchum was like just before
heading out on his adventure.
In the Pokemon World, compulsory education ends at age 10.
After their 10th birthday, children are considered as adults.
The following April, after turning 10, Pokémon trainers can choose to continue with secondary
school or focus on something else, such as Pokémon training, starting a career or even
getting married!
Most of the males in the Pokémon World try to be a Pokemon trainer, and of course, most
of them utterly fail hard.
Then they just become incompetent adults.
This is why both Ash's father and grandfather left for a trip and is also why most of the
workers are female.
This is the book in which Takeshi Shudo revealed that Ash, on the day of his departure was
exactly 10 years, 10 months and 10 days old.
As mentioned before, Pokémon trainers left on April after their tenth birthday, so here
we see clearly the inconsistency in the first episode of the animated series in which it's
said that "Ash was leaving because he has just turned 10".
But at the same time, Gary and two other trainers also left.
Was it everyone's birthday, perhaps?
Obviously, the answer is no.
The writers have made a mistake.
But that's not all.
Since Ash's Journey started on April 1st, going 10 years, 10 months and 10 days back,
it is possible to determine the date of his birth: May 22nd.
So, on April 1st, Ash was almost 11.
During the 9th episode of the animated series it was made clear that two months have
passed since Ash's departure.
Here's the confirmation that he has been 10 years old only in the first 6-7 episodes
of the animated series.
The alarm clock shaped like a Voltorb that Ash uses as a Pokeball in the first episode
was actually donated to Ash by Delia for his tenth birthday.
Pokémon themed goods are always a best seller, so you can't get them in a small village
like Pallet Town.
Consequently to get that clock, Delia had to leave her busy schedule for three days
and go to a department store in the metropolis of Cerulean City, where she waited five hours
in line to buy it.
For Delia, that Voltorb clock held more significance than just a birthday present for her son:
it was an expression of motherly love for Ash to take on his journey.
His birthday was only a suitable opportunity to give it to him.
And there you have it, the history of Ash Ketchum.
As you can clearly see, this kid has been through a lot and hasn't exactly had the
easiest childhood, but his determination to become a great Pokemon trainer has always
been there.

Just let me...
reach for your hands and touch the ground...
and then just close your eyes...
and let the tears just shine away,
and light away your darkest days.
To whom it may concern:
I'll show you innermost weakness,
but that's a risk that...
I'm completely willing to take.
But if you don't mind,
please don't beg forgiveness...
for all those masks that you had to fake.
So I see you...
Sister, you take away that veil,
and then open your eyes and shout,
and just let them light the way.
Just let me...
reach for your arms and touch the sky...
and then just close your eyes...
and let the tears just shine away,
and light away your darkest...
Brother, you take away that thrill,
and then open your mouth and shout...
and just let the sound away.
(I wanted to be here to take your fears away.)
Just let me...
reach for your hands and touch the ground,
and then just close your eyes...
and let the tears just shine away,
(...open your arms and let yours...)
and light away your darkest days.

Maxine Waters Just Got WRECKED By a Vietnam Vet After She Said Trump Supporters 'Aren't True Patriot - Duration: 12:36.Maxine Waters Just Got WRECKED By a Vietnam Vet After She Said Trump-Supporters 'Aren't
True Patriots'
If there's one thing Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters is good at, it's running her
big fat mouth.
We continually see this moonbat at the helm spewing her anti-Trump rhetoric as she goes
on CNN leading the charge for his impeachment, even though she has zero evidence to support
her ridiculous nonsense.
But when she went to the House floor Monday night to play the race card and then viciously
attack Trump supporters by labeling them "un-patriotic," one Vietnam veteran heard the nonsense and
immediately opened up a huge can of whoop ass that Waters couldn't contain.
Waters began her 9-minute tirade flat-out telling Americans that she has "no respect"
for President Trump, announcing that her sole mission in life is not to support the will
of her constituents, but to "destroy Trump."
While we've all grown accustomed Waters' vitriol against the president at this point,
she then decided to go on the attack against Trump's supporters, blasting them for not
being as patriotic as she and Democrats are.
"When we fight against this president, and we point out how dangerous he is for this
society and for this country, we're fighting for the democracy.
We're fighting for America.
We're saying to those who say they're patriotic but they've turned a blind eye
to the destruction that he's about to cause this country, 'You're not nearly as patriotic
as we are.'"
"Mr. Speaker, my position against this president and his administration is clear.
I oppose this president.
I do not honor this president.
I do not respect this president."
Once she was done putting Trump supporters on blast, she then went onto round #2, where
she dropped her famous race card, saying that African-Americans have always "been there
for America" by fighting in wars, but that America has never had their back:
"African-Americans have struggled and fought historically, many African-Americans have
paid a huge price fighting for justice and equality in this country, have died for it.
"…Despite the fact that America has not always been there for us, we've always been
there for America.
We have fought in America's wars.
We have suffered discrimination, we have suffered isolation and undermining.
But we stand up for America, oftentimes when others who think they are more patriotic,
who say they are more patriotic, do not."
Waters doesn't speak for every African-American, much less for the countless veterans who have
fought, died, and bled for her right to stand in front of Congress and flap her ungrateful
and bigoted fat mouth.
And when one Vietnam veteran caught wind of the ridiculous nonsense that Waters was spewing,
he immediately unleashed a fiery tirade of his own, sending the race-baiting hag straight
to the cave that she crawled out of on Monday.
Here's what the Vietnam Veteran Dan Flynn had to say about Waters' speech, that will
make you proud as hell to be an American:
No, I don't just say I am patriotic, I am.
I was combat infantry in Vietnam, my dad served with Patton in WWII and my great great great
grandfather served on the side of the North in the Civil War.
His brother died in that war.
A lot of my family's blood has been spilled giving you the right to spout your crap.
In fact, a whole lot more white blood has served this country, much of it in the Civil
War.
No one has ever diminished the cost or sacrifice of African Americans.
DO NOT DIMINISH our contribution!
The Lord has taught me I shouldn't hate.
But, I can loathe and despise you and everything you stand for.
You are an ignorant, bureaucrat who has sucked off the public teat for so long it has deprived
what little brain you have of the oxygen to even make a coherent argument.
You talk of the black caucus.
What a joke!
How many members of the CBC have had ethics charges levied against them (including you)?
How many are currently under indictment, are currently incarcerated or have served jail
time?
The percentage is way above the Congress as a whole.
Stand proud Maxine, you are a moron's moron.
Couldn't have said it better myself!
While many of us continue to be completely unnerved by the fanatical nonsense that the
left continues to spew about our president, it's always so refreshing when our veterans
stand up and put these idiots on full blast.
How dare this woman blast Trump supporters and try to make the asinine claim that they
are "un-patriotic."
This woman has no freaking clue what it means to fight for America, much less speak on behalf
of the countless veterans who have made sacrifices over generations to give her the freedoms
here in America she is obviously so ungrateful for!Trump Just Rolled Out His New Air Force
One…Look How Different It Is!
The contract was up on Barack Obama's Air Force One with the expiration of his presidency.
While that was just a chance of timing, President Trump stepped in to not only renegotiate the
exorbitant cost of the aircraft, which came in millions higher than necessary but also
took advantage of the renegotiation to make some much-needed changes to the new design.
These proposed changes weren't revealed to the public until today and as soon as his
plans for the new Boeing rolled out in public view, everyone immediately noticed one thing
that has liberals losing their minds more than before.
Being the leader of the most powerful nation in the world comes at a great cost, some of
which is at the hands of your own citizens.
For that reason, the vehicles that transport our Commander-in-Chief need to be specially
equipped to do so safely, especially to protect against angry imbeciles who will stop at nothing
to get a "winning" round off as the martyr for the liberal movement.
Such is the plan for what's set to be completed a few years from now.
Leftist psychopaths have posed a threat that no liberal leader ever saw from conservatives.
While our president saved a substantial amount renegotiating the production cost of the new
Air Force One, he didn't scrimp on details that will benefit leaders for years to come
on this contract.
As part of the perks of being the president with golden taste and fierce negotiation skills
to support the luxe accommodations on a "dime," you get an Air Force One that resembles that
of the Trump Tower in Manhattan.
If Trump isn't elected in 2020, heaven forbid, his replacement will enjoy this new ride in
the sky no matter how much he/she hates their predecessor.
Looking more like a five-star hotel, here's a sneak peek into Trump's Air Force One,
compliments of GreenPoint, that liberals thought Barack Obama deserved but didn't necessarily
earn:
The accommodations are fit for a king or queen and Trump knew how to negotiate it in a way
that cost far less but resulted in much more.
That's the kind of leader America can benefit from and nobody can argue the luxurious accommodations
for how hard our new president works to fix the mess that Barack Obama left him.
Great deals are made in great spaces, and Obama didn't make those arrangements to
warrant such accommodations.
While the previous Air Force One had similar safety and luxury assets installed, Trump's
aircraft has at least twice the protection and comfort as others in the event of those
plotting to dispose of him actually get crazy enough to try it.
The next thing liberals will likely complain about is that Trump is using too much of America's
funds for his protection.
However, this wouldn't be the case if they hadn't created the problem and need for
it, but he creates the budget for the extras that Obama couldn't ever fathom.
Melania Just Received SICK 92,000-Piece Surprise From Pissed Off Liberals – This Needs To
STOP!
Looks like nearly 100k people have put their John Hancock on a petition that is calling
for Melania Trump to move into the White House or to pay the security bill for staying in
Trump Tower herself, and not use any other funds to cover the costs other than what she
pulls out of pocket.
Interesting yes?
There was no such petition making its' way around when Michelle Obama was taking 4 lavish
vacations a year, with security, helicopters, special airport trafficking, and of course…taking
her family and friends along with them.
Nothing about the visits to royalty all in the name of 'education for girls' but
not really…mostly just spend dining and treating herself and her daughters to being
princesses for a day, before moving on to the next kingdom to do it all over again.
The Trump family has already stated that vacations are not going to be a 'thing' with them
and if it is…well it's not going to be lavish, and as expensive as what Michelle's
standards were.
Plus…who are these people to sign such a petition against Melania Trump.
Her and her husband aren't even being paid the presidential paycheck.
Yet, Melania wants what is best for her son, and she feels it's raising him another year
in his childhood home at his school…and she gets the 3rd degree for needing protection
because of who they are?
Give me a freaking break.
The people signing this petition are surely miserable people who wouldn't know right
from wrong if it planted one right on the kisser.
Besides…it's just until SUMMER!
Do these people realize it's just a couple months away?
Yes of course they do, but their brains are such that they cannot be used to actually
think.
The petition states: "The US taxpayer is paying an exorbitant amount of money to protect
the First Lady in Trump Tower, located in New York City.
As to help relieve the national debt, this expense yields no positive results for the
nation and should be cut from being funded."
Before he was inaugurated, the cost of Donald Trump and his family's security protection
in New York was estimated to be around £1 million (£800,000) a day.
The NYPD later revised this amount, revealing last month that it had cost $24 million (£19
million) to pay for the security for Mr Trump and his family and guard Trump Tower over
the two-and-a-half month period between the election and Inauguration Day, the New York
Times reported.
The NYPD stated in a letter to members of the New York delegation to Congress that it
costs between $127,000 and $146,000 (£101,000 and £116,000) a day "to protect the First
Lady and her son while they reside in Trump Tower," the newspaper reports.
This cost is expected to rise to $308,000 (£245,000) a day when the President is in
New York, though he has not travelled to the city since his inauguration.
People who signed the petition have also left comments condemning the money spent on keeping
Trump Tower secure for the First Lady and her son.
Jodi Quesnell from Wyoming, wrote: "If she chooses to live apart from her husband, the
American taxpayer should not pick up the tab!
They can afford to pay for the extravagance of living apart.
The tax payers have provided a perfectly acceptable home which has met the needs of every other
previous president."
Another supporter from Rhode Island, Sheila Forsyth, wrote: "Living in the White House
is what you do when you are married to the president.
The tax money saved by eliminating these extra protection expenses can be used to feed junior
citizens.
Why is our tax money being spent on people who already have more than their fair share?"
Of course Lyn Siegel from New Jersey, a Democrat and total knob has said: "Every First Lady
has lived in teh White House.
We pay enough for Trump's golf trips."
Such nonsense…
Trump's golf trips?
So far, there have been none that were for naught.
Each and there are very few that have been for business purposes, and if he has swung
a golf club for some downtime…
WHO WHAT?
The lights to the oval office are on all hours late into the night, that's Trump working.
Unlike Obama…who did nothing but lead from behind, and wanted to be rewarded for every
little failed effort to 'work'…with a vacation.
It's disgusting that thi petition exists…but, not surprising.
They are liberal dummies after all.

Five Tricks and Tips to Stop Stressing [CC] - Duration: 5:47.Hey everyone so today I am going to be doing tricks and tips to getting rid of stress.
Because it is getting near finals week for me anyways.
And as a college student you are always you get stressed and feel like you shouldn't be
and you can't get rid of it and for someone who gets stressed out very easily due to anxiety
having these tips have greatly helped me.
Alrighty!!
Number one talk to someone close to you your mother, friend, your best friend.
And talk to them have that relationship with them and tell them what is the matter and
go through all the detail of everything that is wrong even if you don't really want to
say what is wrong.
It helps to ease some of that stress that is on you.
I do not know why it just does.
Another thing you can do which is going to be TIP number two if you are religious in
any way shape or form you need to talk to them.
Like if you have a youth pastor or there is someone who runs a church program at your
college or whoever they may be talk to them.
They will sit there and listen they are judge free and they are just great people to talk
to fi you are really stressed out.
And that is really my go to, to have someone like my youth pastor or a pastor I know.
Talking to them helps me because they put everything into perspective.
and they do not just talk about God.
They help bring everything into a certain point so if it was something that you really
should not be stressing out about and they give you reasons why you should not be stressed
about it.
So for me I have had a horrible dream which has really shook me and has been stressing
me out almost all day because it was such a horrible dream.
So I called my youth pastor and he spoke to me and it was not even a long conversation
be he spoke to me and just helped put things at ease.
Now number three is something that I do not do but it helps some people more than others.
This is breathing.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth so .. (Olivia breaths in through
her nose and out through her mouth) and do it a couple times and if that does not work
keep doing it because it literally it is realizing all that tension in your body and is getting
it out.
Something that I have done and doe snot helped when you are super stressed like a full on
anxiety attack mode breathing does not help as much but it is something that is helpful
for students who are stressing about finals, exams, and all that.
Alrighty now number 4 so this is something that I do not do as often as I should but
I take a moment and breath but not just breath like I did before but like think Okay is this
logical?
Is there a reason I am I need to be upset about this? so I my dream.
Was it logical to be worrying about my dream?
No.
It is not real and will never be real.
So it is not logical.
Is it reasonable?
NO!!
IT is a dream.
it is probably because as my youth pastor said I ate something wrong ( olivia's laughing
while saying this) Been working about or stressed out about finals and or exams.
Or stuff coming up.
There is like a cagillion reasons why it is not reasonable to think be worrying about
it.
So you go through all and you ahem to list them out because if you do not say them outloud
and list them your brain will not have time to process it.
And last number 5 is just taking your mind off it.
So for me you can listen to music and sing to the songs, watch a tv show, go on netflix,
Youtube like I am doing now.
Like there are so many like different things you can do to take your mind off it.
Like read a book if you are a reader.
Reading a book is a great way to take your mind off it it literally your book you have
to focus you have to read and you have to think about every little word that you are
saying so it turns into a story.
So now you are not foucisng on the thing that is scares you or is stressing out but you
are focusing on something else.
And I know for people who study for finals you do not really like that option but if
you are so stressed out . You don't want to be stressed out when you go to that final
or you don't want to be stressed out then you go to that exam.
OR if you write tat paper your paper is not going to be logical if you are stressed out
and this is something that I do have to tell myself.
STOP take a break!!
There are times where I studied for a exam like last semester I studied for me College
algebra exam for 14 hours straight.
And I am just like and I then had a friend tell me to take a break.
Olivia Take a break!! just watch a tv show listen to music, for 15 minutes do not think
about math.
And that does help.
If you don't think about it and you go back to your homework and something that did not
click before is now there it clicks. you understand ohhh I get it now.
So I really hope these tricks and tips help you and yes there are many more and I want
to hear your ways you de stress yourself.
So again these were my five ways to de-stress yourself.
And I really do hope they help. and if you liked this video do not forget to give it
a big thumbs up.

I love you all BYEEEEE!!

Travel Tips: Yoshino Cherryblossom | Nara, Japan - Duration: 9:54.Why hello there!
Today I'm back to talk about some travel tips for another one of my favourite places to
visit in Japan, and today we're talking about Yoshino.
So I'm going to format this video the usual way, and throughout the video I will be putting
up links up here somewhere to my videos that I took while I was in Yoshino.
For this one, I'm also going to be linking my photography from Yoshino in the description
down below, because, I mean, one of the main reasons that you go there is to get amazing
photos, and so if you want a better idea of what things might look like, please check
that link out.
Okay, let's get started.
So let's start with what Yoshino is and why it's on my favourite places list.
Yoshino is a mountain in Nara Prefecture, and it's pretty remote and pretty quiet most
of the year, except in spring it become wild.
Yoshino mountain is home to over thirty thousand cherry blossom trees, and people from all
over the world and all around Japan come every spring to see them blossom.
It's a really incredible sight, and I think the reason it's on my personal favourites
list is pretty self-explanatory.
It becomes a cherryblossom paradise, you can't beat it for cherryblossom viewing.
I also personally really love photography and videography, in case you hadn't noticed,
and so for me the chance to take pictures and translate this real life beauty into photos
and videos was too good to pass up, so that's another reason why I really loved it.
Basically it's just something that you can't really pass up, especially if you live in
Kansai like me, people will recommend it to you until they're blue in the face, so you
kind of have to go at least once, and I highly recommend that you do, it is well worth it.
Apart from that another great thing about Yoshino is that the cherryblossom trees will
bloom at different times, because there are five layers of cheryblossom up the mountain,
and so of course the ones that are higher up are colder and will bloom later, and the
ones lower down are in a warmer climate and they will bloom earlier.
This is fantastic because cherryblossom season in Japan is notoriously short, so if you want
to catch cherryblossoms a little earlier or a little later, or for whatever reason you
couldn't catch them in the main time, then Yoshino is a great place to go.
So that's what it is, and why I really liked it, next let's talk about how to get there.
As I mentioned before, Yoshino is quite remote, and so getting there can be a little complicated.
I'm gonna go through the basic outline of it, but please please please do check this
very carefully and make sure you know exactly how you're getting there.
So basically you're going to want to get on the Kintetsu line for Yoshinoguchi, and once
you're at Yoshinoguchi you can get the line to Yoshino directly.
It's quite a long ride, but it is another very beautiful ride, and also in spring the
Yoshinoguchi to Yoshino line has a couple of special sakura themed trains, which is
quite cool.
Once you're at Yoshino itself you can choose how you want to start your journey up the
mountain.
The start of the mountain is quite steep, and so a lot of people choose to take the
ropeway up instead of walking.
It's your choice, but I recommend the ropeway, not only to conserve energy, but actually
mainly because the ropeway has amazing views itself.
So if you want some extra sakura views (not that you're going to be lacking!), um, do
take the ropeway up the first part of the mountain.
If not, you can walk and that's absolutely fine, it's definitely possible to walk, it's
just that a lot of people choose to save that first bit of energy and use the rest of their
energy to get up the actual rest of the mountain!
Once you get to the top of the ropeway, you can again choose how you want to proceed.
You'll be at the start of the main walking path of the mountain, and this path is pretty
easy, especially if you have a long time, like a full day, I really do recommend walking
the rest of the mountain, because there are a lot of places that you will miss if you
go by bus.
However there are buses that go to each part of the mountain.
So each of the five layers of cherryblossom trees, there's a bus that goes up the entire
mountain that can take you the whole way.
I recommend walking, but of course it's up to you, the buses are fine and they make it
much more accessible, so that's fantastic.
So that's how you get to and around Yoshino.
Getting there is a little complicated, as I say, so please remember to check your way
thoroughly and make sure that you have it all in your head.
One more thing really quickly about transportation: Getting back.
So I found that when I climbed all the way up to Kami-Senbon, the top layer of the, uh,
cherryblossom trees, my feet were really sore and I just kinda wanted to get the bus back
down, so that's what I did.
But one thing that you need to be aware of if you want to do this, is that the buses
do end very early.
I went on a weekday because weekends are a nightmare in terms of busyness, but the buses
ended before 6PM when I went.
The way that you can handle this is when you see a bus stop just make sure you check that
timetable and check the last bus, uh, 'cause sometimes they will end earlier than you might
expect.
So, something to keep in mind.
Next let's talk about some things you might like to do while you're in Yoshino, and some
of the things that I really loved.
For this particular place I feel like the recommendations are pretty self-explanatory,
because everyone's pretty much just going there to see the beautiful sakura.
Uh, yeah.
That's what I recommend first and foremost, of course.
Apart from that, there are a few other things that I will mention.
Number one is that there is a lantern or light-up festival during spring and you can check the
dates for this online.
So if you want to see that make sure you stay until after dark so that you get to see that.
I believe it has priests walking lanterns up the mountain, so if you're interested in
that that's something that you could do.
Another thing is sakura themed foods and drinks.
So almost every restaurant, as you can imagine, in Yoshino will have some sort of sakura themed
food or drink item, and that can be kind of fun and interesting to try if you want to.
They range from very high end kind of fancier traditional Japanese restaurants, to like
soft cream stands, where you can get sakura soft cream.
So pretty much whatever budget or whatever type of food suits you, you'll be able to
find.
There's also tons of festival food there, like little street food stalls and things
like that that you can try.
So yeah, make sure that you don't eat anything before you go, I would say, and plan to have
like either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner in Yoshino.
Apart from that, I do recommend one other thing which is try to take some of the offshoot
paths if you're walking up the mountain.
So there's the main path that goes up the mountain, and you can absolutely stick on
that the whole way up, but if you really want to see some amazing things or go to places
that other people might not be crowding so much, take some of the smaller paths and just
like follow them.
Make sure you don't get lost, but it's pretty hard to get lost to be honest, but try taking
them and just seeing where they lead you.
Some of them will lead to amazing views, or little shrines, or temples, anything is possible
really.
I followed a couple of them and it was really worth my time, I really loved kind of taking
that little adventurous approach to it.
So that's my recommendations for Yoshino.
Basically...sakura, sakura, and more sakura.
But I mean, what do you expect?
It's Yoshino!
And lastsly, let's just talk about some thing you might like to know before going to Yoshino.
So I touched on this a little bit before, but make sure that you're always checking
the last times for each form of transport.
All of the transport out of Yoshino does end quite early, so if you're not planning on
staying there for the night then you really need to make sure that you know your timetables.
So buses end early, the ropeway ends early, and the trains end early as well.
Especially on weekdays, and we'll get into that in a minute, but yeah, just make sure
that you either have the timetables in your head or you took a picture of them at the
station, or whatever it is, whatever way you do it, make sure that you're well aware of
when you need to be at each station.
My next piece of advice, as mentioned in the last piece of advice, is to go to Yoshino
on a weekday.
I mentioned at the start of this video that Yoshino gets a little wild around spring time
in terms of tourist activity, and weekends are doubly so.
Everyone is trying to go to Yoshino on weekends and in Golden Week, so if you can try to get
there - especially if this is just a vacation to Japan for you - try to get there on a weekday.
Not Friday either.
I would recommend like midweek.
Like Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday is ideal.
I only go to Yoshino on weekdays and I would recommend everyone else do the same.
If you're not super bothered by crowds, then by all means go on a weekend.
For me personally crowds aren't my thing, and so weekdays are best for me, and if you're
like me, weekdays are good for you too!
Last piece of advice: Around Yoshino mountain there are quite a few hiking trails, and if
you are looking into doing any of those I can't really tell you too much about them
'cause I haven't done them.
What I do know is that Yoshino is pretty far out in the inaka in Nara, and so be wary when
you're on these trails of wild pigs and other potentially dangerous animals, also monkeys.
Um, just be aware that they do exist, there's actually a gate in part of Yoshino that you
have to keep closed at all times so that wild boars don't get in.
So if you're planning on going a little off the beaten track, just make sure that you're
aware of what kinds of animals exist around this area 'cause it is pretty far out in the
wild, and make sure you know exactly how to handle those.
Okay, that's about it for my Yoshino travel tips.
I hope you have an amazing time if you go there, and get some incredible photos.
If you have any other questions, please leave them in the comments down below and I will
do my best to answer them, and apart from that I will talk to you later.
Bye!

Trying to conceive baby number one - Duration: 9:37.Hi guys in todays video I'm going to talk to you about my journey of trying to conceive
my baby number one
When I really wanted to have a baby and become a mum we didn't really know what to do so
we were actually in Sydney at the time and this was before I actually got married
but we were looking at all avenues and different places to go to before we actually tried to
get pregnant and we obviously weren't getting pregnant and I wasn't getting my cycles and
I didn't know what was wrong
like even growing up I had cycles all over the place and I had heavy periods every now
and then light periods and it was very annoying
so when we were in Sydney we went off and we saw a doctor and he was just blaming my
husband I hate that it's not always the husbands fault and it's definitely not his fault he
has got me pregnant 5 times so it's not his fault.
It's not even my fault that I can't get pregnant it's my body and my ovaries and stuff
after that we moved from Sydney to a town called Bathurst and we went to a gynecologist
there who was helping us as we thought he was but all he wanted to do was kind of get
money because every time we went he would just do the same thing for him just give me
a script he would want me to come in and that's when we found out I actually had PCOS as well
from all the blood tests and ultrasounds he asked me to go do
Once we did all that he put me on clomid and that's all he did he put me on clomid
a couple of cycles so I wasn't getting pregnant and by that time we were actually living in
Orange and we thought we might as well look at doctors around here to see if there could be someone
who could help us closer rather than us having to drive 30 min away 30 to 40 min away
So we ended up finding this doctor and we ended up finding the best IVF specialist in
Australia living in this town so we were lucky about that
His waiting list was actually for first time parents well first time people trying to conceive
was like 6-8 months waiting list and we kind of didn't want to wait
but because we had been trying for so long before and we had seen another gynecologist
and everything we went to a hospital we have here not our main one we have another small hospital here
and at the time that's where he was
his receptionist wrote down our details and he found out about us and he said book them
in so we got in quite quickly which was really good
then he did his tests on me and it was all the same, the same info that we had been told
then he put me on clomid and instead of just giving me clomid like my other gynecologist
did and then said if you don't get pregnant just come back he gave me the clomid and he
also tells me to go have a blood test at the beginning of my cycle like day 2 and then
at day 21 I have to go and have an ultrasound and another blood test and that just shows
if my body has changed at all and if it is not then I think you go off to the IVF route
Lucky for us it was working I was ovulating and so I didn't get pregnant that first month
which was obviously devastating at the time but the next month after that I ended up getting
pregnant so I was quite happy and pleased that it didn't actually take that long.
I just needed a doctor that really cared about his patients to actually help
So I ended up getting pregnant and we were over the moon very very happy and I can remember
at the time we found out because we really wanted to know my doctor rang my husband up
and we were both at his work at time and that was it he had to go home he was to excited
he couldn't do anything else that was it.
A couple of weeks after that we had our first ultrasound with him he has his own little
ultrasound thing in his office and that was good.
We could see the heart beat and everything the baby looked great and then we went through
and had a perfectly great healthy pregnancy until I had to have my glucose tolerance test
and with that I found out I had Gestational diabetes and I was quite devistated because
I really didn't want to prick my finger every time I ate and you know woke up and have to
do it again it was quite annoying
I totally take my hate off to everyone who has diabetes type one or type two seriously
pricking my finger every time was something I really didn't want to do so I wanted to
change that I gave birth to a healthy baby and she was only 6 pounds 9 ounces which was
quite small and actually midwives that were working at the hospital because my mum works
at the hospital was talking to her and saying
'Oh normally when people have Gestational diabetes the baby most of the time is quite
big when they deliver and she wasn't she was quite small so they were quite shocked and
surprised
now I know well I think I know why I also had Gestational diabetes and it was because
I didn't exercise at all back then all I was thinking about back then was getting pregnant
and that's all I really wanted so I wasn't exercising at all I think I exersised a little
bit after I firstly got pregnant and then I stopped and I didn't go back until after
my daughter was born so I would actually get out of the house and do something rather than
just stay there and look after the baby
and ever since I started after she was born I kept going and going and going and I haven't
left and I'm still there and I've had two boys now and I didn't have Gestational diabetes
with them
and those stories are to come soon and you might know about Horatio's story because I've
done Trying to conceive videos on him but I will still do an update video to recap exactly
what I did and how we went through
this is basically the story of me trying to conceive my daughter Delinda our first baby
and she was born on 24th May 2009
That seems like a while ago because this year she is going to be eight ahhh I can not believe
that she was born like eight years ago that can't seem right.
anyway guys thank you so much for watching please give this video a thumbs up like this
video subscribe share and leave me a nice comment down bellow and until next time guys

Build a Sheet Goods Cutting System that is Safe, Cheap and Accurate - Duration: 6:56.If you're like most woodworkers, cutting plywood sheets is one of the most dreaded jobs.
Due to it's size it can be dangerous to cut on an average table saw.
There are specialized tools, such as panel saws or track saws that can be safely used,
but are often too expensive and are designed specifically for cutting sheet goods.
Many big box stores such as Home Depot or Lowe's will cut the sheet goods, but don't
count on the cuts being clean or accurate.
For many years, I have used the Festool tracksaw cutting system.
It works great but it's not an option for many woodworkers due to its cost.
Today I'm going to show you how to build a sheet goods cutting system that can be made
from plywood scraps and give you a similar quality and accuracy of a tracksaw.
The cutting system is built from 3/4 inch plywood, which is used for the fence and Edge
guide.
The fence is attached to the edge guide by six, 1 - 5/8 inch wood screws.
The edge guide is made from two glued pieces of 3/4 inch plywood.
A 1/4 inch piece of plywood is used as an zero clearance plate which will be mounted
to the circular saw's sole plate.
All of the parts can be made from plywood scraps.
The dimensions I used are shown, but they can be change to suit your needs.
To ensure the overall accuracy of the cutting system, I recommend that at least one edge
of the fence and edge guide remain the factory cut edge.
Mark these edges because we'll need to refer back to these when we begin to build the system.
Let's get started by making the edge guide.
The two pieces are cut to the same dimensions as previously shown.
Next we will glue the two pieces together.
It is important to note that when gluing the pieces together leave one of the factory cut
edges proud by approximately 1/16 of an inch..
This edge will be the referencing edge when it gets assembled to the fence.
Next let's make the zero clearance plate.
This plate will help eliminate cross grain chip out.
For this video I'll be making a zero clearance plate for the DeWalt 20 volt cordless circular
saw, but any circular saw can be used.
To get started, place the saw on top of the 1/4 inch plywood sheet and mark the outline
of the sole plate.
Next cut to or inside of the pencil marks.
The zero clearance plate should have a slightly smaller footprint when compared to the saw's
soulplate.
This will ensure that the soulplate, not the zero clearance plate, will ride against the
fence when making a cut.
Next the hole locations will be marked, which will allow the zero clearance plate to be
mounted to the saw's sole plate.
Sole plates will differ between manufacturers, but for my case, I was able to use one existing
hole location.
A second hole location had to be drilled on my saw's sole plate.
Two mounting hole locations should be enough for mounting the zero clearance plate.
With the holes marked, each hole location is drilled.
Each hole has a different diameter due to the different sized screws which are used
to secure the zero clearance plate to the saw's sole plate.
Both holes will need to be countersunk, which allows the head of the screw to be flush with
the bottom of the zero clearance plate.
With the plate installed it's time to cut the zero clearance slot into the plate.
For this step, I recommend clamping the sole plate to a sturdy surface.
This step will allow the blade to be safely plunged into the plate.
The last step is to lightly sand the edges and around the blade slot.
The plate is waxed with several coats of paste wax, which will give it a smooth surface.
The next step is to install the fence to the edge guide.
Since this step is critical to the accuracy of the cutting system, we first must ensure
that the fence is 90 degrees to the edge guide.
For this step, we will use an uncut sheet of plywood that must to be square on all corners.
This can be checked by first measuring the diagonal length from each corner and ensuring
each measurement is the same.
The second step is measuring the width of the sheet at each end and verifying each measurement
is equal.
With these quick steps, we know that the sheet can be used as an accurate reference.
In order to have the fence properly aligned, we will first measure and mark from the shortest
side on each edge of the board.
I use a measurement of 24 inches.
With both marks made, take the fence and place the factory cut edge to the pencils marks.
Take your time and make sure the board is right on the marks.
With the fence in place, clamp both sides so that it will stay in place.
Next take the edge guide and place the factory edge against the edge of the board.
Make sure it is snug and clamp it to the fence.
Drill the six hole locations for the 1 - 5/8 inch wood screws.
Install the wood screws and make sure they are countersunk to the fence.
With the assembly completed, we will cut the saw kerf groove into the edge guide.
Set the depth of cut so that one tooth of the the blade is below the cut.
Next, make the cut on a scrap piece of plywood, since we are only cutting to create a groove
in the edge guide.
Place the cutting system on the board being cut, so that the saw blade groove on the edge
guide lines up to the pencil mark.
To verify that the fence is align to both pencil marks, use a ruler to make sure that
the measurements from each side are the same.
If the measurements are different, then make sure that the edge guide is tight to the edge
of the board being cut.
Once the cutting system has been verified to be accurate, then you don't have to verify
your measurement for future cuts.
Place a clamp at each end of the fence to ensure that it doesn't move while making
the cut.
Now ready to make our first cut.
With the cut completed we will verify the accuracy of the cut.
Taking the measurements from both ends of the board, we see that they are equal.
This proves that the cutting system is cutting correctly.
Next let's compare the quality of the cut to the track saw.
For this comparison, I'll be using my Festool TS55 track saw.
The track is aligned to the pencil marks, clamped in place, and the cut is made.
Now let's compare the quality of both cuts.
First.
we'll look at the cut made by our cutting system.
There seems to be some chip out on the edges.
I believe that this is caused by two factors.
One, the plywood that was cut is a low cost, shop grade variety, which has a very thin
veneer.
Second, the blade on my saw has a very thin kerf, which is more prone to vibration when
compared to a wider kerf blade.
Now let's look at the cut quality of the track saw.
As you can see there appears to be some chip out as well.
In all fairness my track saw all has an older blade and the track's anti splinter guard
is a bit wore.
With a sharp blade and a new anti splinter guard, the quality of the cut would be improved.
In conclusion this cutting system cheap to make and cut quality is acceptable.
If you're on a tight budget, this cutting system may be the best solution to accurately and
safely cut sheet goods.

Accelerating CPFL's billing with IBM FlashSystem - Duration: 4:27.The CPFL energy group began in 1912 in the interior of São Paulo
Over these more than 100 years, CPFL created new companies and acquired some other
that already distributed energy, as well.
These companies were bringing billing systems different from each other
and during that process there was a need for consolidation
in a single billing system,
and the one chosen was SAP, with the CCS module,
where we placed 7 of the 8 distributors of the group -
- approximately 6 million customers.
One of the companies was missing, Rio Grande Energia, which is one of the companies
located in Rio Grande do Sul,
and has a total of 2 million consumers,
which would also be included in this billing system.
That was our big challenge: how to put another 2 million customers in an environment
that already shows performance issues?
We were already overtaking the 8-hour night processing period,
which was agreed with the business area.
We needed to do all this, without having to delay the project
or messing around in the application code.
CPFL shared with us the challenge they faced,
with this increase in the number of costumers.
IBM understood this need.
The challenge was great, and IBM set out to run an IBM FlashSystem 840 proof of concept.
The main feature of this equipment is a level 0 storage, which improves
storage IO performance.
The proof of concept was executed, the results were analyzed and, based on these results,
the implementation was put into production.
And it mirrored a portion of CPFL's billing database, improving the performance of the work
and achieving to return the investment made with the architecture.
That's when we saw that IBM's FlashSystem solution
would take care of us in a very quick and simple way,
where we would rent Flash in the current environment
and some of the more important system tables
would be moved there to speed up the billing process.
We did a proof of concept to see what the gain of the solution would be.
The results were very good, so we got the solution, put it on the production system
and had a gain of approximately 40% in speed
in the night processing of the accounts.
We were extrapolating our 8 hours period and we dropped it to an average of 5 hours a day,
with a very simple and fast implementation, without changing any line of code of the application,
, which would be a much more laborious, time consuming and costly implementation.
FlashSystem brought, besides accelerating the night processing, an improvement
to the services in our agencies and our call center.
As the results we had were very positive, over the 6 or 8 months,
we bought another FlashSystem module.
We've grown this environment to put more tables of the billing system itself,
and we've already tried using FlashSystem on other systems.
Both data warehouse systems and tax systems, where we have a very strong time pressure
pressure to deliver the results, whether for federal or state revenue agency.
The results were also excellent in these other systems, not only in billing
and we will not think twice about growing this technology even further within the
CPFL group.
The CPFL Group and IBM are centennial companies that have been in business for a long time,
and this partnership has brought us good results, and in the future, we are going to make this partnership
grow more and more.
