Thanks For wathching. Sub by Newonlinh

(Episode 111)

My legs.

What happened to my legs?

My legs...

My legs...

I can walk again.

I can walk!

Min Kyung-chae.

Just you wait and see.

I will never let you get me.

Never!

What are we going to do, Hee-soo?

Those men are ruthless!

Let's go.

Tell them we'll come back for our things.

But where? Do we have any place to go to?

I said let's just go!

What?

Hold on! We need to take something.

We have to take at least this.

Wait for me!

You won't be able to return to your house.

I think the new owner has moved in.

Really?

Then what about Hee-soo and mother?

They were getting kicked out.

I saw them by chance.

So that's why she called.

Do you know where they went to?

The police are keeping watch. They'll call me soon.

I requested that they keep watch just in case she tries to run again.

We may think that she won't try to run away in her condition.

But she has always proven us wrong.

Stop it. I don't want to hear it.

Goodness.

Why are we here when we have our palace there?

I didn't even bring any change of clothes.

Why bring them out when we'll be moving back in soon?

Come back to your senses!

How much longer are you going to live in your fantasy?

We got kicked out because we couldn't pay back the loan.

You never think about me a bit!

Once you are sent back to prison, I'll be left all alone.

How and where will I live by myself?

Who says I'll be sent back?

Didn't you see?

The police were tailing us.

Don't worry.

I'm going to find a way out through Attorney Jang.

If that doesn't work out, I'll get my money back.

I won't be sent back.

We can lose the police by saying we're going to the doctor.

What are we doing to do?

How are we going to survive?

Should I work at the bar again?

I told you never to say that again!

If you hadn't worked at a bar or met a man like Eun Ki-man,

none of this would have happened.

This is all your fault! Are you aware of that?

You have always blamed Kyung-chae. Now you're blaming me.

I'm sure there's a way out. Just watch.

Actually, I'm half way there.

Oh my!

Are you okay now?

Your legs are working now?

I'm no longer paralysed.

If nothing else works, I can just run away.

Don't worry about it.

Oh my.

I couldn't get a hold of you before.

You call back only now?

I heard.

Where are you?

Why do you care?

You ignored me when I needed you.

Why do you care where we are?

I had my reasons.

You can stay at my studio.

No one is staying there now.

I won't ask for your help.

Even if I have to live on the streets, I won't ask for your help!

What's wrong with you?

We need to have a stable place in order to find a way out!

What do you plan to do in this motel room?

Stop it!

Don't tell anyone my legs are working.

Not even Ji-sub.

You have to keep this a secret till the end.

That will keep me from being sent back to prison.

Do you get it?

I know that you have important documents that belong to our hotel.

I know who gave them to you.

Eun Hee-soo took important documents with her when she was fired.

She made a copy of them and gave them to you.

Have we taken any of your ideas from those documents?

Right now, we need to fold all of our current and future projects.

Otherwise, it will mean the destruction of both hotels.

Please return the documents...

and avoid starting the same projects as us.

Why should I?

I never asked Eun Hee-soo to do any of this.

She did it on her own.

This doesn't help your hotel.

You may get to the top by exploiting your competing hotel.

But you won't last long.

Such success and profit will only work to trap you.

Ms Min Kyung-chae,

we have met before, right?

Yes, we have.

I met you when my father was the CEO and when I was the vice president.

You have changed a lot since then.

You were just a shy girl hiding behind your father.

I didn't know anything back then.

The value of protecting what belongs to me.

And how hard it is to do that.

That's why I'm here.

I'm here to prevent you from losing what belongs to you.

Your conscience.

Prevent me from losing my conscience?

You're a human being before you're a CEO.

It's more important to be a human being than to make your hotel grow.

I packed everything that could make money.

I'm so sorry to leave this place.

I got so attached.

I'm so frustrated that we have to leave this palace!

I wonder who the new owner is.

How rich can they be to just win the bidding in cash?

Who's that?

Then that old lady is...

Do you still have business here?

Did you buy this house?

Are you the new owner?

Yes, I am.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't be?

I did hear you were filthy rich.

But you have got a place already.

Why would you buy this house?

Perhaps it's because I'm filthy rich.

I heard that your grandson and that wench Kyung-chae...

were dating.

You're not giving this house to that wench Kyung-chae, are you?

It's good to return what belongs to her.

Says who?

Hee-soo has suffered so much because of her!

If Kyung-chae hadn't stirred up so much trouble,

we wouldn't be where we are now.

I get it now.

You got this all planned out.

Kyung-chae is stirring things up in the front and you're in the back...

Watch what you're saying!

How dare you talk that way?

How dare you talk about Kyung-chae with your filthy lips!

Goodness.

It's because of Kyung-chae's kindness that...

you and Hee-soo are still alive after all that you've done!

If it were up to others, things would have been over for you!

You lived like beasts!

If you're done with your business, get out of my house!

Now!

Oh my.

This old lady...

How dare she.

I need to find a way before I get sent back to prison.

Hee-soo. Hee-soo!

That old lady!

That Mrs Na or whoever.

She bought our house.

Mrs Na?

I think so.

I was on my way out after gathering my things.

She walked in as the new owner.

She said I was a beast.

I think she's giving that house to Kyung-chae.

What nonsense!

If Kyung-chae gets that house, she'll rub it in our faces!

So Kyung-chae will get that house again?

My house!

My house that I exchanged with my life!

It would be great if Grace Hotel accepts your offer.

But if not, we have to change all of our projects.

I know.

We can't blame them...

since we neglected to protect our business plans.

This is a big problem.

I've never met their CEO.

It's awkward to talk about this with him out of the blue.

Where's your father?

He said he had an urgent matter.

There he is!

Where were you?

Please sit down.

I had dinner with the chairman of the board of Grace Hotel.

It was dinner but we both had our agendas on the table.

You met the chairman?

How can I just watch you guys suffer?

I have to do what I can.

I'm not really close with the chairman.

But we have a long history of competition...

since the beginning of both of our hotels.

I'm sure he'll consider my proposition.

So will you take care of this?

I'm just doing what I can.

So don't try to handle this on your own.

Let's do it together.

I'm sure I can help out somewhat.

Of course!

You're our greatest help!

You have spent so many years as the CEO of our hotel.

I'm sure you still got it in you!

Thank you, Dad.

I heard you'll be sent back to prison soon.

Did Min Kyung-chae tell you that?

That will never happen.

My lawyer is looking into this.

You're a little too much for us to embrace.

Even if you avoid going back to prison,

I have heard so many things...

What do you mean?

I don't know what you heard.

But they're all lies.

You know how competent people are often attacked out of jealousy.

Ms Min told me that you fired employees without proper reasons.

I had my reasons.

This is a false accusation.

You just don't know how wicked Min Kyung-chae is.

She has no conscience.

She's a shameless person who will do anything to take what's not hers.

Really?

I think it's the opposite.

Why did I get myself cornered by setting the resort on fire?

You promised me the vice president position at this hotel!

You can't do this to me now!

Let me mull over this.

It's not something I can decide right now.

Be responsible!

You take care of this!

Who gave you the important documents that contain...

the Mona Lisa's business plans?

You're dumping me now?

How dare you!

You make this happen!

What's wrong with you?

Don't smile like that.

You disgust me.

This is all your fault.

If you hadn't threatened me with your evidence,

none of this would have happened to us.

I wouldn't have to ride in this horrible thing and deceive people!

This is all your fault!

It's all your fault!

What are you doing?

Are you out of your mind?

How dare you come here?

This is nothing compared to what you did to me!

Would that silly picture protect you?

What did you tell the Grace Hotel's chairman?

Do you still have hope?

Just accept the reality now.

What did you tell him for him to have a change of heart?

I told him not to let you trick him.

I told him to keep his conscience.

Not to give up on his humanity like you did!

Are you satisfied?

You...

What are you going to do if I stand up right now?

If I do, I can easily take you on!

You can never do anything to me.

My mum will protect me.

My mum will make sure you don't ever hurt me!

Your mum?

That great mum of yours?

She couldn't even save herself from that fire!

She could be full of pride, but she was just a crippled alcoholic!

I did what your mum couldn't.

You'll be shocked soon.

Just wait.

It may seem like you have me.

But you can never get me!

Your time is running out.

Don't cause any trouble when you are sent back this time.

Who knows?

Maybe you can get out sooner on good behaviour.

(Manager Han Pil-sub)

Manager Han Pil-sub.

This is cool.

The suit looks so good on me.

I should have been a model.

Are you okay, Eun-chae?

Are you hurt?

I'm really grateful but you don't have to do this.

My staff will take care of this.

You sit right here.

My mum and dad will be here too.

What a sight!

Why is she here?

Long time no see, Eun-chae.

Nice to see you.

Why did you tell us to come?

I'm so upset about Ji-sub's situation.

You seem to get dumber with time.

Why would you vent your frustrations on her?

Just sit anywhere.

I have to get ready for a group reservation.

Wait for me, Eun-chae.

Welcome.

Just sit down.

Welcome.

Let me help you.

How can that dummy help him?

She'll only get in the way.

Gosh, that Pil-sub...

Why did he pick her?

She's pretty good.

They really look good together.

Now that Pil-sub is a manager, he can support himself.

I think it'll be good to let them get married.

Forget it!

How can you say that?

Do you want to see me lose my mind?

Why don't you accept that Pil-sub is not that great either?

Are you okay?

Are you hurt?

I'm sorry. I'm really sorry.

He'll have to take care of her for the rest of his life!

What a life!

This won't do.

If I let my sons run their own lives,

they'll come to their ruin in no time!

Where does Kyung-chae live?

Was it where you went before?

Why are you asking?

You wouldn't...

Where are you going?

Honey!

Ki Chan-sook!

That woman is like a ticking time bomb!

I just can't live with her!

I don't know when she'll explode!

Ki Chan-sook!

Gosh.

I told them to wait.

I'm going to be straight with you.

I don't intend to accept Eun-chae as my daughter-in-law.

Who would accept her?

How can you say that?

I'm sorry, Mr Min.

I agree with you on that matter.

You can't just say that.

You need to stop Eun-chae from hanging around Pil-sub.

She dares to ruin Pil-sub's life!

We'll never become related to Eun Hee-soo.

Even if Ji-sub gets a divorce, we still won't accept her.

She's not in the right condition.

You don't have to worry about that.

Leave now.

Goodness, Mr Min!

Stop this.

You're so rude.

I'm sorry, Mr Min.

We'll leave now.

Mr my foot!

He got kicked out!

Listen to me carefully.

I'm not saying this because Eun-chae acts like a child.

She easily gets lost.

She talks like a little kid...

Stop it!

If Pil-sub is precious to you, Eun-chae is precious to me.

Now I see that it's not Eun-chae who is not worthy.

It's you who is unworthy.

You are unworthy to be Eun-chae's mother-in-law.

Are you saying I'm not worthy?

I'm not worthy compared to that slow girl?

Don't ever!

Don't ever call her that again!

I won't stand for it!

Leave now!

How could he?

Now he's showing his true self!

You act all cool but you're not!

Are you stupid?

How can you just watch him attack me like this?

You're stupid!

Stop it!

Why would you do this when you won't gain anything from it?

What he said is right!

- Gosh. - You're stupid! Stupid!

Stop it! You're hitting the same spot!

You have become so vicious!

Mrs Yeo will protect you?

But she's dead.

Min Kyung-chae.

You got it wrong.

You don't scare me.

Hee-soo.

Look at this.

I sold all my jewellery.

Those pieces of jewellery don't suit us now.

They're of no use when we're broke and starving.

It's a good thing I bought them when we had the money.

I was paid well for them.

We don't have to worry about money for now.

Are you happy?

Are you happy we don't have to worry about money?

Why do you talk like that?

I get so nervous when you talk like that.

What else could I do?

We have to live.

I'm on the verge of being sent back to that hellish place.

What good is this money?

Do you love it that much?

I'm about to die here!

Are you so happy?

Does this money mean that much to you?

Who says I'm happy?

I'm frustrated too!

But we need money for food!

What did this money do wrong?

Why are you...

Is that for approval?

Yes.

What happened?

Where is Jin Soo-hyuk?

He's in a meeting.

I'm just here to help out for a few days.

Don't misunderstand.

Are you aware that Eun Hee-soo gave vital documents to our competition?

She did?

She took important documents when she was fired.

She gave them to the Grace Hotel.

All of our business plans have been exposed.

I'm sure you know what this means.

How could she?

Don't you know that she can't be trusted?

I know that marriage is based on trust.

But just watch.

She'll soon stab you in the back.

Don't regret it then.

Come back to your senses!

You're stepping over the line.

I must trust her.

Even if she stabs me in the back, I must trust my wife.

She gave away the documents?

How could she do that? She even set the resort on fire.

How much can I trust her?

Now you pick up my call.

Why didn't you answer my calls?

Never mind.

Let's meet.

I'll come over...

No, I have to go to court for a trial now.

You can't do this, Attorney Jang.

There's nothing more urgent than my case.

I'll be sent back to prison in a few days.

Then I'll be tried.

I need to find a way out before then.

I still have to do my work.

What about the money I gave you?

I postponed your return to prison.

That's it?

Postponing isn't everything.

We have to find a way out!

Don't you know what will happen if I am sent back to prison?

I would rather die than to be sent back.

You have to find a way out for me.

I can give you more money if you want.

You'll do anything for money.

Hello?

Hello!

I won't take this from you!

It's me that won't take this from you!

Let's meet.

How does it feel to be here?

I missed this place.

I want to return to work.

You will return to work soon.

We have submitted a grievance for your illegitimate termination.

The hotel has also accepted it.

Thank you, Ms vice president.

I'm not the vice president.

In my heart, you'll always be my vice president.

I'm sure other employees feel the same way.

If I had done a better job as the vice president,

none of this would have happened.

I regret all of this.

Then you can be the vice president now and do what you couldn't.

Do you think I can?

What happened to your legs?

I heard you were in an accident.

It's a temporary condition. Don't worry about it.

We're not worried about you.

Even if you are crippled in other places, you have nothing to say.

You're only being punished.

Why did you ask to see me?

I'm busy.

You're not the only busy person.

I'm busy too. I'm as busy as the president.

I'm so busy looking out for my sons' future that...

the soles of my shoes are worn.

I heard you're going back to prison.

Don't say that.

You stay quiet.

Don't stop me.

What are you going to do about Ji-sub?

You need to divorce him so that he can remarry.

He doesn't want that.

What?

So it's okay for Ji-sub to spend the rest of his life...

taking care of you in prison?

I would have waited for Ji-sub if he were in my shoes.

Oh my.

Listen to her talk.

I'm just saying that's what I would do.

If you feel anything for me, you can't call me out and do this.

If you have any idea what I'm going through...

Why should I care what you're going through?

If you had lived a better life, none of this would have happened.

How dare you ask for our understanding...

when you made all the wrong choices!

Are you making a fist?

Are you going to hit me?

Try it!

Hit me!

What's wrong with you?

Who reinstated your son after he was fired?

Who paid off your debts?

Who let you live in such a palace?

You can't forget about all that I did for you.

It's inhuman to be so ungrateful.

What did you say?

Inhuman?

How dare you!

You're so wicked!

You're getting punished!

You're being paid back for all the evil you did to Kyung-chae.

Go back to prison and live there for 10 or 20 years.

My Ji-sub will remarry and have a happy life!

Gosh.

We meet again.

Get out of my way.

You used to just fire people.

Look where you ended up.

Get out of my way.

Do you know what people used to say?

They said you'll be punished one day...

for taking everything away from Ms Min.

What did you say?

Ms Min took it because she was nice,

but we knew you would get your just deserts.

Everyone cheered for Ms Min. Did you know about it?

Cut it out and get out of my way.

How dare you say that!

Please move aside.

Yes, Vice president.

Vice president?

You may go now.

Don't forget to come to the trial.

Of course I'll be there.

I will do more than testify if it's for you.

Goodbye.

You're acting like the vice president?

You bribe people to falsely accuse me.

And you act like the vice president?

You remember your date to return to prison, right?

You don't have too much time.

Don't waste your time on this.

Think about your life after you're sent back.

Don't worry.

Who knows?

Perhaps I'll stand and walk right now.

What brings you here?

Your mum called me here.

She gave me some news.

She said you'll soon remarry.

She asked me to divorce you.

Don't mind her.

Help me not to mind her.

Your mum has always been unbearable.

She's too stubborn!

She threw water in my face.

What did I do so wrong to take this?

Especially at this hotel!

I was mocked in front of all the employees!

I'm sorry. I'll apologise on her behalf.

I wanted to see you. I'm glad you're here.

Here, take this.

What is this?

You'll need money wherever you are.

You must have left with nothing.

I told you I won't accept your help.

Please just take it.

I don't need it.

Why do you make me look cheap?

Why do you make me miserable with this chump change?

Let me go.

Let go of me! Let me go.

How dare you throw my food!

How dare you!

Hey, who do you think you are?

I can't go back.

I can't go back even if I have to die.

I won't go!

I don't want to go!

Hee-soo.

What's wrong with you?

Mum.

I don't want to go back.

I can't go back.

I don't want to go back.

I can't go back.

Do something!

Help me!

My child.

My poor child.

It's okay.

It's okay, Hee-soo

Mrs Yeo.

Do you know why I'm here?

This could be the last time.

I think we really need to end this now.

The police are not here.

They think I'm here to repent.

They all went away.

Just watch what happens to your daughter.

A person with nothing to lose has no fear.

I told you I won't go down by myself!

Yes, Detective.

To my mum?

I got it.

Why did she go there?

Mum.

We're almost there.

I'm sorry for making you wait so long.

Once Eun Hee-soo is imprisoned,

we'll reveal the truth about your death.

Everyone will find out about your untimely death.

We're almost there.

Let's meet.

I have something to say.

I may be locked up for good in a few days.

We don't have time.

I'll see you there.

Min Kyung-chae.

If it's over for me, then it's over for you too.

I can't end it myself.

It's better to die together than to end this by myself!

I'll get going now.

I'll be back with dad and Eun-chae.

I'm busy preparing for the trial.

Don't get lonely.

Kyung-chae!

Kyung-chae!

Don't go, Kyung-chae!

Don't go there!

Mum!

Skin Care Tips ❤ Is Sesame Oil Good For Acne? - Duration: 3:43.

Skin Care Tips ? Is Sesame Oil Good For Acne?

How do you feel when you wake up one Sunday morning and find acne appearing on your face?

Quite annoying, right?

But that wouldnt be the case anymore, as you are about to learn about one wonderful

remedy for acne!

It is sesame oil we are talking about!

Wondering how it can treat your acne and give you healthy skin?

Then this post is a must-read for you!

Acne A Brief:

Acne cannot exactly be called a disease, but a skin condition that can be pestering and

inconvenient.

For most women and men, it is a part of stepping into adulthood, but people in their late 20s

and 30s also suffer from acne breakouts..

While people with oily skin are more prone to acne, it does not spare those with other

skin types as well.

Nuances Of Acne And Ways To Treat It:

Acne occurs mostly when the sebaceous gland in the human body becomes overactive at the

onset of puberty .. Owing to enhanced hormone secretion in adolescence, the skin pores get

clogged with sebum and dirt, and result in the accumulation of bacteria.

Sebum secretion, however, can also be caused by certain medications, environmental factors,

and heredity.

As the hair follicles become laden with dead skin cells and sebum acne sets in, blackheads,

cystic acne or pimples start appearing.

You will find lots of acne treatment products in the market.

These are mostly available in the form of a gel, spray or balm.

While you can opt for such ready-made acne solutions, the results can vary.

Some products may bring temporary relief while others may not give the expected results.

Moreover, such chemical laden products can actually aggravate your skin condition.

Using these products often makes the skin overly dry and your body starts generating

more oil, which makes things complicated.

It is better to use natural acne solutions that have a low risk of side effects.

One such solution is sesame oil.

Why Use Sesame Oil For Acne Relief?

Sesame oil, which is extracted from sesame seeds, is used extensively in the skin care

industry.

It has also been used for treating skin conditions since the ancient days, and its culinary uses

are not unheard of either..

This oil contains a good amount of protein along with an antioxidant compound called

sesamol.

Massaging your skin with sesame oil helps increase blood circulation and eventually

aids in clearing the debris clogging the skin pores.

The oil is gentle on the skin and benefits the skin in more ways than just eliminating

acne.

It contains vitamins A and E and polyunsaturated fats that help improve skin texture and reduce

signs of aging.

Ways To Use Sesame Oil To Cope With Acne:

You may use sesame oil in various ways to get relief from acne.

You may take sesame oil and soak cotton balls in it.

Then apply those oil soaked balls gently on the acne affected regions on your skin.

Let the skin soak the oil for 20 minutes or so.

Wash off with a medicated mild soap or cleanser.

Of course, you may prefer leaving the oil on your body overnight and have a bath in

the morning.

You may also apply sesame oil on the acne spots and sit beside a bathtub filled with

hot water.

The steam will unclog the skin pores and let sesame oil seep in better.

You may use sesame oil for cooking foods to augment its effect on your skin.

Its high smoking point ensures you get most of the benefits .

Kim Jong-nam's body to be repatriated to Macau: reports - Duration: 2:48.

Media outlets in Malaysia are reporting that the authorities will repatriate the body of

Kim Jong-nam, the recently assassinated half brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

However, depending on which report you believe... his body could be sent to his family in Macau

or to North Korea.

With more on this and other news from around the world... we turn to Ro Aram.

Aram... ever since Kim was murdered we've been trying to piece together conflicting

pieces of information,... and these latest reports just add to the overall sense of confusion...

Yes Mark, as you said there are a number of media reports suggesting that Kim's body is

ready to be sent somewhere, but some are suggesting Macau, where his family is, and others are

saying North Korea.

But there is another report that has just come out, suggesting his body won't go anywhere

after a deal between Malaysia and the North fell through.

Let's take a closer look.

Reporters said Monday that they spotted a hearse escorted by police arriving at the

morgue, where Kim Jong-nam's body was kept, on Sunday afternoon.

The vehicle was then said to have left after a couple of hours later with Kim's body on

board to be taken to an unknown location for what was believed to be religious rites.

It was unclear if the body was then cremated, buried or returned to the mortuary at Kuala

Lumpur Hospital.

But reports have emerged that it was being prepared for repatriation, although there

are differing reports on where it will be sent.

Some outlets are saying Kim's body will be returned to his family in Macau, but others

suggest North Korea.

The removal of the body is said to have come after Malaysian police were seen entering

the North Korean embassy, presumably to talk with officials.

The officers are also said to have questioned three North Korean suspects linked to Kim's

assassination, who were reportedly seeking asylum in the embassy.

After the unconfirmed talks, Kuala Lumpur is thought to be cooperating with the return

of Kim's body and the release of the suspects.

The investigation into the murder of the North Korean leader's half brother has sparked a

diplomatic row between Kuala Lumpur and Pyongyang, with the two countries exchanging tit-for-tat

travel bans on each other's nationals.

The latest reports of Kim's repatriation suggest that Malaysia is seeking the release of nine

of its nationals who are banned from leaving North Korea.

However, a report by the Asahi Shimbun has just come out, saying that such a deal was

called off on Monday night because it hadn't been authorized by regime leader Kim Jong-un.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, was expected to speak on Monday

regarding the alleged deal, but no announcement has yet been made.

Exploring Korea-Japan relations, from Seoul to Tokyo - Duration: 6:59.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has taken aim at Korea,... saying Seoul does not understand

Tokyo's sentiments on a statue that was recently installed outside the Japanese consulate in

the southern Korean city of Busan.

The statue, representing a former victim of Japan's wartime sexual slavery,... sparked

anger in Tokyo,... leading it to withdraw its ambassador and another top-level diplomat.

It's been over two months and counting but there's still no news of their return.

To delve deeper into where this rocky relationship is headed, Oh Soo-young filed this report

from Tokyo.

Diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan remain in deadlock,... after Japan pulled

out its ambassador to Korea and consul-general in Busan in early January.

The temporary withdrawal was ordered by Tokyo after civic activists erected a statue outside

the Japanese consulate in Busan -- Korea's second largest city.

"The installation of the 'comfort woman' statue in front of the Busan consulate is deeply

regrettable."

"The Korean government finds the decision made by the Japanese cabinet deeply regrettable."

Tokyo claims the statue -- a girl that represents the victims of Japan's wartime sex slavery

program -- violates the landmark agreement it reached with Seoul in December 2015,...

with which the two governments promised the so-called "comfort women" issue would be finally

and irreversibly resolved.

Korea is also crying foul.

Japanese politicians continue to make provocative remarks,... and last week, Japanese high school

textbooks were found to have omitted historical facts about the issue,... in addition to marking

the Korean islets of Dokdo as their own.

This has further incensed civic groups, which believed the agreement failed to reflect the

wishes of the victims themselves.

It's almost been three months since the Japanese envoys were recalled.

Will Korea and Japan break out of this predicament and get their relationship back on track?

Without an ambassador to consult at the Japanese embassy,...

I headed to Tokyo to get some answers.

The first call I made was to the Japanese foreign ministry.

I'm calling to enquire about when the Japanese ambassador to South Korea will return to his

position.

Please ask or call to Korean embassy….

But it's a very simple question.

Can't I just get an answer?

Can I have your...

Or can I call you back?

Thank you."

"I've contacted Japan's foreign ministry several times but they've refused to give me an interview...

or a date when the Japanese ambassador will return to Korea.

It simply said it is reviewing the decision."

Given that, it seems Tokyo is in no hurry to restore its diplomatic channel to Korea.

I turned to some experts for their views.

"Japan is very concerned.

It's unsure of what to do right now before Korea appoints a new president.

It seems there's nothing it can do, because any negotiation that's undertaken now may

be of no use at all with the incoming administration."

"So we are probably not wanting any kind of revision, while we are afraid that the Korean

domestic political situation is going the other way.

You will have presidential election and most of the main candidates that they will abolish

the agreement.

But experts worry that keeping the ambassador's seat vacant for too long could worsen relations

even further.

"The presidential term begins immediately after the election, without a transition,...,

so if there's no ambassador to consult with and they can't build a relationship with the

winning candidate, bilateral relations could suffer."

Experts say Korea and Japan must move forward together, against all odds, as strategic partners.

The key element is building trust,... something that was lacking over the past year.

"Following pressure from Korea and America,... Abe had no choice but to accept Japan's responsibility

for the sex slavery issue and open the door for negotiations.

So his actions -- the fact that he hadn't apologized himself, for instance -- have failed

to convince Korea that Japan is genuinely contrite in the spirit of the agreement."

"Had the leaders of both governments been more genuine and engaged with the public,

we might not be where are today.

If the next Korean president reassures Japan that he or she will actively persuade the

public to back the agreement,...

I believe relations can be rebuilt on new trust."

Meanwhile, the Japanese public seems tired of the diplomatic tensions.

In fact, some people I spoke to were unaware of recent events.

"I haven't heard anything."

"It's hard to say."

While those aware of contentious issues may hold differences in opinion, they believe

solutions lie above politicizing of relations.

"I am against the installation of the statue, so I think we need to find solutions through

deeper diplomatic talks.

We are neighbors, so it's vital we get along.

For the younger generation, they get along well -- it's just the politics that cause

problems."

"I wasn't taught about Japan's wartime sex slavery at school.

I don't think that's right.

I think we Japanese and the Koreans should learn about each others' histories and find

solutions."

Tourism between the two countries has continued to hit new highs.

Some 2.3 million Japanese tourists visited Korea in 2016-- an increase of 23 percent

from the year before.

The number continued to grow in January by 13 percent,... and 28 percent in February.

The number of Koreans traveling to Japan has also increased more than 20 percent in January.

"We have to have psychological bindings, mutual trust, mutual existence, and I think in order

to create this kind of atmosphere, culture is the best way and the economic exchanges."

"While diplomatic ties may have sunk to new lows, interpersonal relationships between

Korea and Japan, it seems, are livelier than ever.

Perhaps the time is ripe for hard diplomacy to move past the politics -- and catch up

with the times -- in order to find workable solutions to long-standing issues of the past.

Oh Sooyoung, Arirang News, Tokyo."

Yes, Your Appliances Can Spy On You - Politics - Duration: 6:51.

Yes, Your Appliances Can Spy On You

Smart technology represents less of a breakthrough in power distribution and more of a revolution

in complete, constant, panopticon-like surveillance of everyone.

As these smart technologies begin to invade our homes, we are becoming mere nodes in a

giant network that we yet but dimly comprehend.

Just when you thought the fake news establishment media had hit rock bottom, along comes #kellyannemicrowave.

For those fortunate souls who have escaped the gravitational pull of the black hole of

societal discourse that is Twitter, that's a hash tag that refers to Kellyanne Conway's

endlessly parodied remarks about microwave spying.

And for the few people in the English-speaking word who haven't heard about it yet, North

Jersey Record columnist Mike Kelly asked Conway (Trump's Senior Counselor) about the President's

claims that he was wiretapped by then-President Obama during the transition period last fall.

She responded by alluding to a much wider definition of surveillance than the word "wiretapping"

might suggest: "What I can say is there are many ways to

surveil each other.

You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets any

number of ways."

Conway went on to say that the monitoring could be done with "microwaves that turn into

cameras," adding: "We know this is a fact of modern life."

Cue a seeming infinitude of late-night parodies, Twitter hashtags, snide comments around the

water cooler and general mockery from people who still think we are living in the olden

days where we can safely snicker at those crazy conspiracy theorists:

"Oh, that Kellyanne, she needs to adjust her tinfoil hat!"

Except, for the millionth time, the real story is being deliberately obscured behind the

mockery.

The real story here is that so-called smart devices (i.e. spying devices) now make up

a greater and greater percentage of the consumer marketplace.

These devices, including thermostats, dishwashers, TVs, and, yes, microwaves, are on the market

today, and they are capable of sending large amounts of data about you and your household

to [corporations].

Smart technology represents less of a breakthrough in power distribution and more of a revolution

in complete, constant, panopticon-like surveillance of everyone.

As these smart technologies begin to invade our homes, we are becoming mere nodes in a

giant network that we yet but dimly comprehend.

Called the Internet of Things, the plan is to create a network that will eventually

include every single object on the planet.

And as the public is finally becoming aware, such networks provide golden opportunities

for corporations and governments alike to collect data and spy on the population.

This is not mere conjecture.

Before becoming enmeshed in an affair that ultimately derailed his career, former CIA

director David Petraeus bragged openly about how these smart technologies would allow intelligence

agencies to spy on everyone in their own homes, using their own appliances.

Speaking at a summit for In-Q-Tel, the CIAs venture capital firm, Petraeus noted:

Items of interest will be located, identified, monitored, and remotely controlled through

technologies such as radio-frequency identification, sensor networks, tiny embedded servers, and

energy harvesters.[] In practice, these technologies could lead to rapid integration

of data from closed societies and provide near-continuous, persistent monitoring of

virtually anywhere we choose. Whether Petraeus own downfall as a result

of FBI eavesdropping on private emails is part of a plan to warn future would-be whistleblowers,

poetic justice, or mere irony, it is nonetheless instructive.

When everything that anyone does is tracked, traced and databased at all times, from our

dishwasher usage to our television viewing to our toilet flushes, no one will be able

to avoid the gaze of the state, regardless of whether or not they have something to

hide.

As ITWorlds Kevin Fogarty observed, if J. Edgar Hoover were alive he would die of

jealousy at the technologies available to the would-be Big Brothers of today.

As nightmarish as this seems, the possibilities for tyrannical misappropriation of this technology

are even worse.

Given that networked appliances allow for remote access, smart technology actually raises

the specter that governments and corporations will be able to control the items in your

own home.

Here again, as much as this sounds like Buck Rogers fantasy or Orwellian nightmare, it

is in fact mundane reality.

As far back as 2008, California lawmakers were already tabling legislation that would

mandate the installation of smart technologies and allow governmental bodies to automatically

adjust homeowners thermostats up or down to conserve energy at peak usage times.

The stark truth is that any appliance can be turned on or off, adjusted, or otherwise

manipulated by anyone with access to the network remotely, including your own car.

WikiLeaks: CIA Can Hack Cars To Carry Out 'Undetectable Assassinations' Just Like

Michael Hastings

Most worrying of all, whether or not we want to use these technologies, the average person

is being left with little choice.

More and more of the appliances and household goods we use have these technologies embedded

by default, and now, thanks to the so-called smart meters that are increasingly being

installed in peoples homes without their knowledge or consent, that choice is being

removed entirely.

The head-scratching part of all of this is that they are now attempting to mock Kellyanne

Conway for bringing up the subject of smart surveillance (albeit in a clumsy way) just

days after discovering that, yes, the CIA can spy on you through your smart TV.

Vault 7 Bombshell: The CIA Can Spy Through TVs, iPhones, Smart Phones and Windows PCs

Head-scratching, that is, if you believe the media is there to report facts about the world,

rather than politically expedient agendas.

Back to School with Amy Shark - Duration: 8:47.

Hi, I'm Amy Shark and I'm going Back to School with Student Edge.

Tell us, what were you like as a teenager?

Oh, teenager.

I was like...

I definitely went through some pretty crappy years.

I think I was a pretty good kid in general, but I think everyone, I mean, maybe not everyone,

but I definitely had a stage where I was hanging around probably the wrong people, like a lot

of us tend to do.

Which is always by accident.

So yeah, I had a great, great high school experience.

I always had amazing friends around me, and heaps of friends.

So many experiences and so many memories.

Like, I have friends now that are like, "I hated school, I hated that time of my life.

I don't want to talk about it."

Whereas, as much as there were so many things to digest that happened when I was a teenager,

and a young teenager, with, like, my parents... my parents were already divorced.

There were so many other things that I probably won't dive into, but I still look back on

it and think, it was the best years ever.

I don't know why, but I had a really great sort-of teenage life.

Well, that's really great to hear.

That you still sort-of look back on it fondly, even though, as with everyone, teenage years

can be pretty tumultuous.

When did you get into music, for instance?

Was that something you discovered at a fairly young age?

Yeah, definitely.

I had a pretty awesome library to work from home.

My parents were into some pretty cool music, like The Police.

My dad was a big Silverchair fan.

Led Zeppelin.

So there was a really great start for me to hear some great music at a very young age.

I think I knew "Sweet Child O' Mine" before "Incy Wincy Spider".

Anyway, I probably started...

I always was really into music and I was always drawn to really sad music for

some reason.

Like I would always go straight to the ballads, sad stuff, especially throughout school.

I don't know.

I went through a real gothic... not goth... oh, maybe a little bit goth .That was in.

That was the thing.

Sure.

Oh man, if you weren't dying your hair black, it was like, you're just not in.

So it was all a lot of punk and a lot of really angry music.

And that's what I started writing.

I was in a couple of bands but I never used to sing at school.

Because when I was at school, if you didn't sound like Mariah Carey, you wouldn't sing.

It's like, "Oh, you're not gifted.

You weren't given a voice."

So it's okay, I thought, "Maybe I could play guitar," I still love music.

I used to have a real addiction with writing.

I remember, I'd go to bed... like, I used to live in my room.

My parents used to call it the Batcave.

And I would be in the Batcave, like, playing guitar, listening to music, for hours.

They'd come in to check that I was breathing.

I used to have such an addiction with writing just words and poems, I guess.

Because they weren't actually songs, just yet.

But yeah, I used to write all the time at night.

And then, got better and better at guitar, because that's all I did.

As soon as I got home, I'd play.

And try and learn songs that I liked and whatever.

Then we started a band, and I still was all up in my head like, "I'm not a singer.

I don't sing."

I was writing a lot for the band.

One day I was trying to explain the melody to one of the girls in the band, and she was

like... and I ended up singing it.

She was like, "Hey you don't suck.

You should do it more."'

What a compliment.

Yeah.

"You don't completely suck at singing."

So, yeah, as bad as I was - I listened to some old stuff and wow, it's hard to listen

to that sort of stuff, you know?

When you get a bit older and you mature.

It did take me a while to learn that it's okay to not sound amazing, and you can actually

have your own voice.

Well look, before we move on, I do want to touch on one thing quickly which was said at the

top of that.

Which you did have a goth stage.

So, I just want to get some specifics.

What does that mean?

Dyed hair.

Okay.

Obviously.

So, it was like, Manson.

Marilyn Manson was a big deal when I was going through my stage.

"My stage."

That's also a very extreme level of goth as well.

That's not just the pin-piercing.

That's hectic, I know.

I know.

I went through all these phases and when I look at...

I can tell because of my dress sense in the photo album, I'm like.

Yep, still got the dyed black hair.

I actually was with a guy as well and it didn't work out and I was just so shattered for a long

time, so there's many photos of me just looking ghostly pale, just from being heartbroken.

Like, that's just one of the things that happens in your life.

And then you can see through photos.

You can see, "Oh yeah, coming out of it.

Getting a bit more of a tan again."

Getting into the punk stage.

Always at the beach with friends.

And then I sort-of started getting into a lot more sort-of indie stuff, like the Death

Cabs and Tegan and Sara.

You know, Bright Eyes.

Bands and artists that are really lyric-heavy, because that's just what I loved.

Lyrics were my thing.

I'd just listen and be like, "That's like me.

Yeah, that's cool.

That's hit me right here."

So, even at that age, were you able to go like, "Oh, this is what I want to do.

This is actually what I want to do as a career or for the rest of my life"?

Or was it still a little bit abstract?

I think everyone wanted to be a musician or an actor or an actress, or whatever.

And when you're that age, it's like you've got all this life and it's like, "Yeah, I

can do that."

But it didn't really...

I never went total gung-ho at it and I don't think I ever believed it would ever

happen.

That I'd do this for a living.

Ever, really.

I was always quite smart about it really.

I wanted to make sure that I had things.

That I wasn't going to fall on my ass.

I got really interested in film, so I taught myself... well, I did Film & TV at school,

and then went on and kept editing and just kept that passion and loved it, and still

do.

Like, I do my music videos even today.

Yeah, like I wasn't...

I didn't go out busking and I didn't...

I was...

I don't want to say lucky, because I still worked my ass off, but I guess in a way, I

had come to terms with the fact that, "Oh, I'm happy with my life, I like my

job.

I like cutting videos and putting visuals to music."

And whatever I was doing.

It's almost like the universe was like, "You're actually just meant to be a song-writer,"

because I didn't do "Adore" to get anywhere.

Like, I didn't write that song and I didn't continue this to...

I'd already shut down.

So, it was pretty cool how everything's happened and now I'm a full-time musician.

Do you have any regrets?

I know you obviously said there are some things you didn't necessarily like about it but

you look back mostly with a fond memory, but do you wish

there was anything you could undo from that time?

Umm, I don't think so because even like the really s***** guys that I dated, I still wouldn't

be who I am today without these people that taught me to be as strong as I am.

If I had any advice, you've just got to go through the crap and you'll be a good person

and you'll get somewhere special.

Fantastic.

Amy, thanks so much for your time today.

No worries.

Thanks for having me.

Prosecutors request arrest warrant for Park Geun-hye, warrant hearing on to be held Thursday - Duration: 2:09.

Korean prosecutors are seeking an arrest warrant for ousted president Park Geun-hye over the

corruption scandal that has enveloped the nation over the past several months.

Park, who was kicked out of office earlier this month,... is suspected of involvement

in 13 cases of bribery, coercion and abuse of power.

We'll know whether the court will sign off on the warrant later this week.

Hwang Hojun reports.

After days of will they or won't they, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office

announced the bombshell news Monday morning that they will seek an arrest warrant for

the disgraced former President Park Geun-hye.

And in the afternoon, the Seoul Central District Court announced it will hold the warrant hearing

on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. Park was interrogated by prosecutors last

Tuesday, but has so far not been detained.

If she appears at her warrant hearing, she will be questioned in the presence of her

lawyer, but whether she will is still unclear.

Prosecutors said they requested the warrant for Park based on the severity of the charges

against her... and because there is a risk she could destroy evidence.

Park faces 13 charges -- eight of them filed by the prosecution and five by an independent

counsel.

They include bribery, abuse of authority and leaking state secrets.

Park has denied all the charges against her, even though many of her alleged accomplices

have either been arrested or jailed for their suspected involvement in the scandal that

led to her impeachment.

If the Seoul Central District Court issues a warrant, Park will become the country's

third former president to be arrested for criminal allegations following Roh Tae-woo

and Chun Doo-hwan.

She could face more than 10 years in jail if convicted of receiving bribes from conglomerates,

including Samsung.

As for when we'll know, in February, the court ruled on a warrant for Samsung Electronics

vice chairman Lee Jae-yong...

19 hours after his hearing.

So if the same holds true for Park's warrant hearing, we could expect the court to rule

by early Friday morning.

And if Park is arrested, the prosecutors will have up to 20 days to continue their investigation

and file formal charges against her.

Your first sound

For me, this is mine

That's why, right now, I'm so happy

What was your first word?

Your first word

I can't speak words

That's why I sing, like this

As days pass, and years pass

Should the world's color fade

As long as I have the light you give me

I'll keep on singing

The color of the sky, the smell of the breeze

The depth of the sea, and your voice

These things I'll never know, but a song...

I sing my song, I raise my voice

And if any of that reaches you

I'll sing again, and no matter how many times I sing

It'll never change, it'll always stay the same

As that first sound...

The color of the sky, the smell of the breeze

The depth of the sea, and my song

It'll never change, it'll always stay the same

As that first sound...

Have I become your first sound?

Your very first sound...

No matter where I am in the world, I will sing

Our first sounds...
