The Chainsmokers - The One (Cover + Lyrics) - Duration: 1:55.

You know, I'm sorry I won't make it to your party

Got caught up in my own selfishness It won't let me be a part of this

And I know I've started Drifting off every second

I can't wait to leave as soon as I arrive I count the seconds

Down and down we go We'll torch this place we know

Before one of us takes a chance And breaks this, I won't be the one

No, I won't be the one

I know it's pathetic

Screw it, yeah, I said it Tried to tell it like it is

There's a chance that I'll regret it, so let's go, let's end this

I delete before I send it And we can play pretend

Like we haven't reached the end yet Down and down we go

And we'll torch this place we know Before one of us takes a chance

And breaks this, I won't be the one No, I won't be the one

Sara & Michael's Past Love | Season 5 | PRISON BREAK - Duration: 0:52.

I think Michael and Sara, they will be drawn towards one

another kind of no matter what.

Ultimately these are two people who would

do anything for each other.

The question is, is he still the man that she remembers?

Is he deserving of her love?

Is he deserving of a happy ending?

Your brother's dead, Lincoln.

Where is he dead?

Where is the body?

Sara's got these two kind of competing reactions.

One is if he's alive, I have to find him.

And the other one is, if he's alive,

he better duck the next time he sees

me, because I've been doing this alone and it's been so hard.

If he's been out there for all these years,

why did he abandon his own son?

Stocks - Duration: 1:07.

Let's go over the closing market figures from the U.S and Europe now...

Stocks on Wall Street closed mostly lower on Monday... with investors turning more skeptical

over the prospects of President Trump's key proposals, including... tax reforms.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down about zero-point-two percent,... posting its

eighth consecutive session on the slide.

The S&P 500 edged down zero-point-one percent to end at 2-thousand-341.

But, the Nasdaq bucked the trend, closing zero-point-two percent higher.

European markets also closed lower, with major indices like FTSE and Germany's DAX slipping

over half a percent.

The Trump administration suffered a blow last Friday after a Republican bill to replace

Obamacare faced opposition from Democrats as well as conservatives... and was scrapped

when it was clear it wouldn't be able to secure enough votes to pass the House floor.

In Korea, the benchmark KOSPI closed zero-point-six percent lower on Monday to 2,155.

The Power Of Music To Reduce Stress - Health - Duration: 5:49.

The Power Of Music To Reduce Stress

the soothing power of music is well-established.

It has a unique link to our emotions, so can be an extremely effective stress management

tool.

Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially

slow, quiet classical music.

This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the

pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.

As music can absorb our attention, it acts as a distraction at the same time it helps

to explore emotions.

This means it can be a great aid to meditation, helping to prevent the mind wandering.

Musical preference varies widely between individuals, so only you can decide what you like and what

is suitable for each mood.

But even if you dont usually listen to classical music it may be worth giving it

a try when selecting the most calming music.

When people are very stressed, there is a tendency to avoid actively listening to music.

Perhaps it feels like a waste of time, not helping to achieve anything.

But as we know, productivity increases when stress is reduced, so this is another area

where you can gain vast rewards.

It just takes a small effort to begin with.

To incorporate music into a busy life, try playing CDs in the car, or put the radio on

when in the bath or shower.

Take portable music with you when walking the dog, or put the stereo on instead of the

TV.

Singing (or shouting) along can also be a great release of tension, and karaoke is very

enjoyable for some extroverts!

Calming music before bedtime promotes peace and relaxation and helps to induce sleep.

Research on Music

Music has been used for hundreds of years to treat illnesses and restore harmony between

mind and body.

But recently, scientific studies have attempted to measure the potential benefits of music.

They have found:

Musics form and structure can bring order and security to disabled and distressed children.

It encourages coordination and communication, so improves their quality of life.

Listening to music on headphones reduces stress and anxiety in hospital patients before and

after surgery.

Music can help reduce both the sensation and distress of both chronic pain and postoperative

pain.

Listening to music can relieve depression and increase self-esteem ratings in elderly

people.

Making music can reduce burnout and improve mood among nursing students.

Music therapy significantly reduces emotional distress and boosts quality of life among

adult cancer patients.

Meditation

Certain music is appropriate for meditation as it can help the mind slow down and initiate

the relaxation response.

However, not all peaceful or New Age music works for everyone.

Music with no structure can be irritating or even unsettling.

Gentle music with a familiar melody more often is comforting.

But search around to find what produces a sense of calm, familiarity, and centeredness

for you as an individual.

The sounds of nature often are incorporated into CDs made specifically for relaxation.

For example, the sound of water can be soothing for some people.

It can help conjure up calming images such as lying beside a mountain stream on a warm

spring day.

Birdsong may also be of use as an aid to help your mind slow down and release stressful

thoughts.

Music Therapy

Because music has the potential to influence us both psychologically and physiologically,

it is an important area of therapy for stress management.

Music therapy can make use of biofeedback, guided imagery, and other established techniques

to play an important role in the treatment of people with stress-related disorders.

But due to the dramatic effects music can have, a trained and knowledgeable music therapist

always is required.

When used in combination with biofeedback techniques, music can reduce tension and facilitate

the relaxation response.

It may be more compatible with relaxation than verbal stimuli, which may be distracting

music is processed mainly in nonverbal areas of the brain.

Music may help people to identify and express the feelings associated with their stress.

In a music therapy session, the client can express these emotions, providing an important

cathartic release.

Producing music in an improvisational way, and discussing pieces of music and lyrics

in a group, can also help us become more aware of our emotional reactions and share them

constructively with the group.

Thinking More Clearly

Finally, listening to music can help the brain by improving learning and memory skills, always

useful when were under stress.

This has come to be known as The Mozart Effect. Experiments carried out by scientists

at the University of California at Irvine found that students test scores improved

after listening to a recording of Mozart, compared with either a relaxation tape or

silence.

This may be because the processing of music shares some of the same pathways in the brain

as memory.

Why The Healthcare Reform Bill Went Down In Flames - Politics - Duration: 6:25.

Why The Healthcare Reform Bill Went Down In Flames

Here are a few of our thoughts on why the Trump/Ryan healthcare bill to repeal and replace

Obamacare went down and some economics behind it.

1) Most important, the bill had no support throughout the country.

The latest poll released Thursday afternoon showed that only 17 percent of the country

supported the plan.

The Quinnipiac University poll, released Thursday afternoon, shows fewer than one-in-five voters,

17 percent, approve of the Republican plan to replace Obamacare.

The majority, 56 percent, disapprove, with slightly more than a quarter, 26 percent,

undecided on the proposal.- Politico 2) Ceteris Paribus (all other things equal)

doesnt hold in negotiations.

Almost every concession Trump/Ryan made to the hard-right Freedom Caucus resulted in

a loss of moderate Republicans, such as the Tuesday Group.

The last straw seemed to be the gutting of the services provided by a typical insurance

policy.

House Republicans leaders promised hard-right conservatives yet another concession on the

health care bill on Wednesday, but it has already lost key support from House moderates

and may seriously endanger their chances of getting the bill through the Senate.

Ahead of the vote on Thursday, GOP leaders said the Senate would gut Obamacares Essential

Health Benefits rule after the House passes the American Health Care Act.

That rule requires insurance plans to cover a basic minimum of health care services.

These benefits include maternity and newborn care, pediatric care, emergency services,

substance abuse treatment, and prescription drugs.

Organizations representing 400,000 doctors wrote a letter to Congressional leaders earlier

this year asking them to keep these requirements in a replacement of Obamacare.

Think Progress.

3) The legislation was a corner solution. That is, it only had the support of Republicans

and was not a nonpartisan bill.

President Trump sounds like he has learned through this process that the country wants

affordable health care for all and will reach out to Democrats on the next iteration.

This should neuter the Freedom Caucus in blocking the next bill.

4) Bad numbers.

The CBOs estimate that 24 million would be kicked off health care and 14 million next

year, in an election year, was devastating.

CBO and JCT estimate that, in 2018, 14 million more people would be uninsured under the legislation

than under current law.

Most of that increase would stem from repealing the penalties associated with the individual

mandate.

Some of those people would choose not to have insurance because they chose to be covered

by insurance under current law only to avoid paying the penalties, and some people would

forgo insurance in response to higher premiums.

CBO

5) Conservatives complained health care premiums did not come down enough.

Bingo!

There are many other reasons health insurance premiums are rising rather than just Obamacare.

Premiums were skyrocketing before Obamacare.

We know firsthand.

Second, the simple demographic dynamics of the U.S. of an aging population are a fundamental

reason why insurance costs are rising.

The pool of insured is getting older and hence the higher costs.

This is the whole philosophical basis behind Medicare older folks are priced out the insurance

market and need government subsidies.

6) Bad economics.

The health care act would have had a deleterious economic impact.

The Achilles heel of the economy is the disparity in the distribution of income and wealth,

probably at its worst in the nations history.

If you provide relief to the higher income groups, who have much lower marginal propensities

to consume and tax the lower income groups through higher healthcare costs, who have

higher marginal propensities to consume, economic activity is depressed.

the American Health Care Act, and the results are not pretty.

An $883 billion tax cut, $274 billion of it going to the richest 2%.

$880 billion stripped from Medicaid.

And 24 million fewer insured individuals over the next ten years.

Forbes That is is kind of mean, no?

7) The bill was rushed.

It should have been debated and tweaked through the normal committee process and will in the

next iteration, which will need 60 votes in the Senate.

Therefore a bipartisan bill.

8) The Upshot.

Aside from the Freedom Caucus, we believe the American government, Republicans, in particular,

have learned from this political disaster, the large majority of the country wants universal

affordable health care and the next bill will be one to repair Obamacare.

This marks a philosophical win for President Obama.

How will the loss affect President Trumps agenda going forward?

Not positive, but hard to assess its lasting impact.

He is definitely weakened politically, however.

Will the Freedom Caucus now feel more emboldened to block tax reform if it adds to the budget

deficit?

This keeps the disastrous Border Tax Adjustment (BAT) in play, which is tantamount to the

government playing Dr. Frankenstien with the U.S. economy.

We did warn last month of policy overreach by a president who lost the majority of the

vote 25K people rallies, aside.

What worries us most is the government is misinterpreting the November victory as a

big mandate, which leads to policy overreach and massive pushback by the population resulting

in social instability.

Cover of "Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell - Corinne Crimson - Duration: 2:56.

Hey my name's Corinne Crimson I'm coming to you from Hermosa Beach, California

This song is by Joni Mitchell, and it's called Both Sides Now

Rows and flows of angel hair And ice cream castles in the air

And feather canyons everywhere I've looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun They rain and snow on everyone

So many things I would have done But clouds got in my way

I've looked at clouds from both sides now From up and down and still somehow

It's cloud's illusions I recall I really don't know clouds at all

Moons and Junes and ferries wheels The dizzy dancing way you feel

As every fairy tale comes real I've looked at love that way

But now it's just another show You leave 'em laughing when you go

And if you care, don't let them know Don't give yourself away

I've looked at love from both sides now From give and take and still somehow

It's love's illusions I recall I really don't know love at all

Tears and fears and feeling proud, To say "I love you" right out loud

Dreams and schemes and circus crowds I've looked at life that way

But now old friends they're acting strange They shake their heads, they say I've changed

Well something's lost, but something's gained In living every day.

I've looked at life from both sides now From win and lose and still somehow

It's life's illusions I recall I really don't know life at all

How To Lose Weight Fast ❤ Does Exercise Help You Lose Weight? The Surprising Truth - Duration: 6:51.

How To Lose Weight Fast ? Does Exercise Help You Lose Weight?

The Surprising Truth

To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume.

Exercise can help you achieve this by burning off some extra calories.

However, some people claim that exercise isnt effective for weight loss on its own.

This may be because exercise increases hunger in some people, making them eat more calories

than they burned during the workout.

Is exercise really helpful for weight loss?

This article takes a look at the evidence.

1

Exercise Has Powerful Health Benefits

Exercise is really great for your health.

It can lower your risk of many diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis

and some cancers.

In fact, people who work out on a regular basis are thought to have up to a 50% lower

risk of dying from many of these illnesses .

Exercise is also incredibly good for your mental health, and it can help you manage

stress and unwind.

Keep this in mind when you consider the effects of exercise.

Even if it isnt effective for weight loss, it still has other benefits that are just

as importan.

2

Think Fat Loss, Not Weight Loss

Exercise is often advised for weight loss, but people should really aim for fat loss.

If you simply reduce your calorie intake to lose weight, without exercising, you will

probably lose muscle as well as fat .

In fact, its been estimated that when people lose weight, about a quarter of the weight

they lose is muscle .

When you cut back on calories, your body is forced to find other sources of fuel.

Unfortunately, this means burning muscle protein along with your fat stores .

Including an exercise plan alongside your diet can reduce the amount of muscle you lose

. This is also important because muscle is more

metabolically active than fat.

Preventing muscle loss can help counter the drop in metabolic rate that occurs when you

lose weight, which makes it harder to lose weight and keep it off .

Additionally, most of the benefits of exercise seem to come from improvements in body composition,

overall fitness and metabolic health, not just weight loss.

Even if you dont lose weight, you may still be losing fat and building muscle

instead.

For this reason, it can be helpful to measure your waist size and body fat percentage from

time to time.

The scale doesnt tell the whole story.

3

Cardio Helps You Burn Calories and Body Fat

One of the most popular types of exercise for weight loss is aerobic exercise, also

known as cardio.

Examples include walking, running, cycling and swimming.

Aerobic exercise doesnt have a major effect on your muscle mass, at least not compared

to weight lifting.

However, it is very effective at burning calories.

A recent 10-month study examined how cardio affected 141 obese or overweight people.

They were split into three groups and not told to reduce calorie intake.

Group 1: Burn 400 calories doing cardio, 5 days a week.

Group 2: Burn 600 calories doing cardio, 5 days a week.

Group 3: No exercise.

Group 1 participants lost 4.3% of their body weight, while those in group 2 lost a little

more at 5.7%.

The control group, which didnt exercise, actually gained 0.5%.

Other studies also show cardio can help you burn fat, especially the dangerous belly fat

that increases your risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease .

Therefore, adding cardio to your lifestyle is likely to help you manage your weight and

improve your metabolic health.

Just dont compensate for the exercise by eating more calories instead.

4

Lifting Weights Helps You Burn More Calories Around The Clock

All physical activity can help you burn calories.

However, resistance training such as weight lifting has benefits that go beyond that.

Resistance training helps increase the strength, tone and amount of muscle you have.

This is important for long-term health, since inactive adults lose between 38% of their

muscle mass per decade.

Higher amounts of muscle also increase your metabolism, helping you burn more calories

around the clock even at rest .

This also helps prevent the drop in metabolism that can occur alongside weight loss.

One study of 48 overweight women on a very-low-calorie diet found that those who followed a weight

lifting program maintained their muscle mass, metabolic rate and strength, even though they

lost weight .

Women who didnt lift weights lost weight too, but they also lost more muscle mass and

experienced a drop in metabolism .

Because of this, doing some form of resistance training is really a crucial addition to an

effective long-term weight loss plan.

It makes it easier to keep the weight off, which is actually much harder than losing

it in the first place.

5

People Who Exercise Sometimes Eat More

One of the main problems with exercise and weight loss is that exercise doesnt just

affect the calories out side of the energy balance equation.

It can also affect appetite and hunger levels, which may cause you to eat more calories.

Exercise May Increase Hunger Levels

One of the main complaints about exercise is that it can make you hungry and cause you

to eat more.

Its also been suggested that exercise may make you overestimate the number of calories

youve burned and reward yourself with food.

This can prevent weight loss and even lead to weight gain .

Although it doesnt apply to everyone, studies show that some people do eat more after working

out, which can prevent them from losing weight.

Exercise May Affect Appetite-Regulating Hormones

Physical activity may influence the hormone ghrelin.

Ghrelin is also known as the hunger hormone because of the way it drives your appetite.

Interestingly, studies show that appetite is suppressed after intense exercise.

This is known as exercise anorexia and seems tied to a decrease in ghrelin.

However, ghrelin levels go back to normal after around half an hour.

So although there is a link between appetite and ghrelin, it doesnt seem to influence

how much you actually eat .

Effects on Appetite May Vary By Individual

Studies on calorie intake after exercise are mixed.

Its now recognized that both appetite and food intake after exercise can vary between

people.

For example, women have been shown to be hungrier after working out than men, and leaner people

may become less hungry than obese people .
