iMac Screen Problem: Flickering, Weird Colors, Glitches & Bars/Lines (27-Inch late 2013) - Duration: 3:52.
My iMac got a display problem,
showing weird lines, colors
and glitches on the screen.
Would it be a GPU problem?
A display defect?
Or both?
And, more important,
would Apple fix it for free?

This is me and my iMac 27" from 2013.
I love this Mac:
the best computer I ever had!
It is not a toy:
I use it to edit all my YouTube videos,
and also where I created
the design of the MaxiCalc App,
and a lot of web development.
It has been working flawlessly
during 3 and a half years
I don't even turn it off!
Then, on February 2017, I logged in and
OMG!
What is happening with my Mac?!
I turned it off and on again…
but it was still there:
crazy image shaking, some horizontal
and vertical lines on the display…
The problem was mostly at the bottom half of the screen.
In the beginning, the glitches were more discrete…
but after just one hour the problem got much worse.
I'll put a lot of it for you to
watch in the end of this video.
I turned the iMac off and
next morning I took it to the Apple Store.
The super big screen is very nice on your table
not so nice to carry around.
It is a heavy box and
we don't have a car here in Madrid.
The Genius guy was very kind and
immediately began to perform tests:
he connected an external monitor
and the image there looked fine.
So, our first impression was that
the graphics board was fine
only the display would be bad.
Then he ran a series of diagnostic tools
that Apple does not allow you to film…
and surprise: the GPU tests FAILED…
so, which was the problem?
The Graphics card alone?
Or the GPU AND the Display?
It could be both!
I immediately asked:
is this something that Apple would cover,
like those replacement programs
for known factory problems??
And the answer was
NO. It was not covered.
Even worst:
if the defect was both on the Display and GPU,
replacing both parts would cost me
more than half of what I paid in my iMac!
Ouch!
10 days later my Mac was fixed and I was
desperate to know exactly which was the problem:
it turns out only the Display was replaced
But… what about that GPU failed test?
After Apple removed the bad display
and tested a new one, then GPU tests passed!
So, bad parts can affect good parts
and here is a lesson for everyone:
when something is Bad on your computer, tablet or phone, stop using it!
Like I did, turn it off immediately and
fix the problem before more stuff start going bad.
My second advice is:
if you buy an iMac, NEVER throw away the box
or the styrofoam protection pieces.

As many are feeling the impact of what is happening in their daily lives, very few know
the source.
It is like the world has gone mad yet the world has always been mad.
People are now becoming more aware of it.
The rabbit hole is a place few dare to venture, and the deeper one goes they have two choices:
total denial and stay with the status quo or brutal honesty; which also means they have
been willing participants in a very sick and twisted world, some knowingly, some unknowingly.
Almost everything the societal engineers and programmers have told you is wrong.
Your history you have been taught is wrong.
Your religions have failed miserably to bring inner and world peace as well as a closer
connection to God.
This includes many new age philosophies � which have also been usurped and compromised.
Your politicians have become self serving and failed to protect your basic human rights,
help the planet evolve and live in harmony with each other and the Earth.
The schools have failed to educate the children concerning their divine heritage, moral values,
higher ideals, cooperation verses competition, and critical innovative thinking.
The science in most schools is for the better part barbaric; some teaching Darwinism � random
mutation totally unsupported in the fossil record.
Others are teaching a singular God with a beard created the heavens and the Earth in
6 days.
�Of course the Earth is 6000 years old�, rather than the 7.5 billion with extremely
advanced civilizations going back more the 600 million years.
We have not evolved much beyond the be lie f it is flat.
By the way, I have flown around the Earth, never saw an edge?
�The chain of succession� mainstream archaeologists and scientists would like us to swallow is
there has been a progressive evolution from Apes to modern man.
This is despite the fact that ancient builder races built stone monuments that cannot be
duplicated to this day by modern methods.
They are built upon leylines; which in many cases have even older ruins beneath them.
Let�s not mention the star gates and wormholes left behind � that�s �conspiracy stuff�
certain agencies don�t want us talking about.
Most doctors have become businessmen and drug pushers: ignoring many of the cures for most
diseases, altogether ignoring preventative measures and dietary options.
Food should be your medicine and what has happened to the food industry?
This is all by design.
It is all interconnected and governed by an ancient force that has suppressed, �genocided�,
and enslaved humanity even longer than your recorded history.
When you climb the ladder of power, position and wealth in �every� institution it gets
darker and more corrupt � leading into unseen negative entities, energies and forces most
would find unimaginable.
There is a Great War, transdimensional in nature, occurring as we speak.
Most are just seeing the physical, social and economic aspects of it.
When you understand the vibrational continuum, you will understand the participants in this
Great War.
Everything begins in consciousness then lowered into light, followed by energy and eventually
becoming mass.
There are different dimensions and each dimension holds a frequency.
THE HIGHEST FREQUENCIES ARE PURE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, JOY AND BLISS.
Characteristics like service to others, practicing kindness and love, operating in alignment
with Universal Law; which basically are adhering to principles necessary for a healthy civilization
and environment.
Principles like Universal Peace, Brother/Sisterly Love, individual Freedom and Prosperity for
All are all within Universal Law.
These higher planes of existence that adhere to Universal Law are pressing hard upon the
Earth.
Everything of a lower frequency must rise and heal, be released or implode, transform
or collapse.
This is the simplistic view of what is unfolding yet it is much more complicated.
Until this point, the Earth has been governed by the controllers, some call enslavers.
They have created a grid partially with technology and also with societal programming what many
call social consciousness.
If you are not part of social consciousness you will be punished, ostracized or even killed
in extreme cases.
Societal programming is done by the media and religious, political and business institutions.
They are governed at the highest level by unseen negative influences often referred
to as �the controllers�.
The controllers can be demonic, degenerate aliens and fallen ones obsessed with power
over others.
In the lower levels it is those who lust for power, wealth, fame some of whom have sold
their souls to get it.
This falls into the Satan worshiping, blood sacrifice rituals, pedophiles etc.; which
are now being exposed and finally dealt with.
This consciousness is not frequency specific to the awakening and healing process now underway.
Thus their days are numbered which is creating much of the chaos the planet is now experiencing.
The swamp will be drained � yet do not be so na�ve to think there is just one level
other than the physical to deal with.
We are all living in the swamp to one degree or another and with brutal honesty we have
to look at how deeply we are submerged.
Most resist change and fear the unknown.
This is something we are all going to have to let go of.
We need to make the unknown known and learn to flow with the changes.
Now considering the fact that almost all institutions have failed miserably why continue with them?
? The religions have failed miserably to bring Universal Peace and a closer connection to
God.
In fact they have in most cases been used to demonize others and promote war.
? The defense industry in truth should be named the �offence industry� having been
used in the past by the corporate elite as their brute squad.
? The �Just us� system, The EPA, the FDA other alphabet agencies are all operating
in opposition to their mandate.
How does any of this serve humanity and the Earth?
There is a corporate elite who�s lust for power and wealth is insatiable � making
windfall profits at the expense of humanity and the Earth.
They are the puppets of unseen negative entities that care nothing for humanity and the Earth
� in fact many feed off the pain and misery.
Inhuman acts are done by non humans or humans in most cases programmed by or under the influence
of non humans.
These nonhumans and their puppets are the source for all the pain, suffering, and destruction
of Earth.
They are at war with the Creator and all Creation.
The Creator is omnipresent within all Creation.
So the 60 million dollar question is � are you human?
Are you walking your talk with impeccable integrity?
How deeply entrenched in the swamp are you?
How much of the societal programming have you accepted to be your reality?
Do you even know there is a swamp?
Does a fish know its in water if that is all it has known?
Does it ever get thirsty?
If the fish was in kool-aide how much of the kool-aide can it drink before it becomes deadly?
How do you feel about those living above the swamp?
How do you feel about the boat rockers, the swamp drainers?
How about the pioneers, free thinkers, whistle blowers those that rock your boat and your
comfort zones?
Those that know a higher path � one that is sustainable unlike the course we are presently
on?
Did you know there are those on high that view the Earth as a failed experiment and
want to wipe the slate clean and start over as has happened in the past?
THERE ARE ALSO THOSE WHO ARE TRYING ARDUOUSLY TO DEFEND THIS CIVILIZATION; WHICH IS ALMOST
INDEFENSIBLE.
ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO ADHERING TO UNIVERSAL LAW.
The puppet masters and the elite have been given an ultimatum: Either shift the power
back to the people, stop the enslavement through dependency, the gross uneven dispersal of
wealth, the wars and destruction of the environment or a reset will occur.
You will loose everything and there will be no place to hide.
The ultimatum included their underground bases, going into space and colonies on other planets.
Now that ultimatum is being enforced.
The psychopaths even at their own demise refused.
Most of their underground bases have been destroyed.
Their ships were also sent back limping to the planet.
Their allies, the negative ETs have also been for the most part eliminated.
Their grid � draconian in nature and supported by technology and social programming � is
being dismantled.
Not all at once: most people could not handle the shock.
This is the chaos now and the chaos to come.
The individual and collective impact will be directly related to the choices and actions
taken individually and collectively.
The 5th dimension is here, all that which does not resonate with it and is not frequency
specific will not continue on the Earth because the Earth has chosen to ascend.
You cannot pass the barrier into the 5th dimension unless you have an open mind, loving heart
and pure intent.
This is also the prerequisite for contact with the Spiritually and Technologically advanced
Off Worlders, Ascended Masters and those advanced beings within the Inner Earth.
The intellect is a drop in the sea of consciousness.
The emotional body and spiritual bodies are far superior.
Those trapped in the intellect will not far well in this transition.
Nature does not care about your be lie fs.
Will they feed you, clothe you, keep you warm?
Love is not in the intellect.
Neither will one find God through the intellect or happiness.
Material objects do not possess emotions.
If you attach your emotions to material objects what happens when they fade or leave as they
always eventually do.
What happens when that shinny new car you attached your self worth to gets smashed or
stolen?
What happens when the people you attached your love joy and happiness to leave you?
What if through the heart you could make your own personal connection with God, Great Spirit,
Creator?
What if you become love, joy, find total acceptance and appreciation within?
What would happen to seeking, leaking your energy like a battery, how self empowering
would that be � to go within and find yourself?
The true self � not the social programmed self.
You would be free, you will look around you and ask do I really need all this stuff?
Do I want to surround myself with what now feel to be zombies?
Do I really want to be part of this herd and is this herd sustainable?
Am I frequency specific to my surroundings or do I need to make a change?
Am I being supported and fed spiritually?
Then, sadly, most will wake up in the morning, go to their cubicles and fall right back into
the herd of zombie consumers.

Nexus One Throwback: The First Nexus - Duration: 4:21.
Hey there, Alex here.
I am pretty sure that the Nexus series of Android devices has a special place in many
Android fans' heart.
For me it was always about that pure Android experience directly from Google.
But with the series going away, I thought it'll be fun to revisit the HTC Nexus One.
The very first Nexus device.
The Nexus One is just over 7 years old now, and yeah, it feels and looks pretty much like
a phone from 7 years ago.
The most telling sign other than the very HTC looking design back then, is the tiny
3.7-inch WVGA display, which I'm sure looked stunning 7 years ago.
An interesting thing about the display is that there are actually 2 versions.
It launched with an AMOLED screen, but eventually switched to SLCD due to supply shortages.
Sadly the one I have is the LCD variant which means it doesn't have that inky blacks I
love from AMOLED screens.
The phone launched with Android 2.1, which actually brought some useful features like,
voice search, speech to text on the keyboard, and turn by turn navigation.
Well, and also some not so useful features like live wallpapers, 5 home screens instead
of 3, a more 3D looking gallery app, and more 3D looking transitions.
This is still early days for the Android ecosystem of course, so baby steps.
The phone was eventually updated to Android 2.3.6 which is the version I'm running now,
which mostly brings under the hood enhancements and slight UI changes.
Of course being an older version, some newer Android apps doesn't work anymore, but the
ones that do are still mostly usable on the phone with a little bit of patience.
The phone uses the Snapdragon S1 processor with a whopping 1Ghz single core CPU, and
512MB of RAM, which was one of the best chipset available at that time.
Another interesting little snippet is that the Nexus One is the only Nexus device that
supports a MicroSD card.
Granted, it was kind of necessary since the internal storage is only 512MB, which is actually
the hardest part about using the phone today.
Out of the box, I pretty much have only 170MB or so for installing apps, and after updating
Google Play Services, only 50MB.
Yeah.
It's barely enough for any additional apps.
The phone uses four capacitive buttons for navigation; back, menu, home, and search.
Which were pretty standard for android phones back then.
One thing I don't like about these buttons is that the touch targets are a little higher
than where the icons actually say they are, which is kind of annoying when you're using it.
Just below the buttons, you'll find a little trackball for navigating around the interface
like some older BlackBerry devices.
It's not something I use that frequently, but look at this.
The trackball actually lights up when i get a new notification, which is kind of cool.
The Nexus One is also one of the few Nexus devices with a removable battery as well.
It's only 1,400mAh, which doesn't sound like much today, but was pretty much the norm
back then.
The phone has a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash.
No front facing camera here.
In daylight, the images looks decent for its time, but really nothing to shout about.
In low light conditions...
Yeah...
it's really not that great.
Let's just compare it to what I can capture on the Google Pixel so you can see how far
we've come in 7 years.
Looking back at the Nexus One, it's really fun to see how far Android smartphones have
come since then.
For a really long time, the Nexus series have been the platform for Google to showcase their
latest software.
The latest and greatest that Android has to offer.
Some were priced higher, some more affordable, but they always signified the progress of Android.
Now that the Pixel brand is taking over the Nexus brand, I'm actually really excited
to see what the next Pixel has to offer.
If you haven't seen my review on the Google Pixel yet, you totally should.
It's pretty much one of the best Android smartphones today.
Which makes me really excited to see what the next Pixel will bring, and what Google's
vision of Android will be in the future, and it all started with this, the Nexus One.

Greece will cease taking back refugees under the controversial Dublin Regulation, as the
country�s limited capacities to host people are already on the brink of collapse, the
Greek migration minister announced in an interview.
RT reports that as the European Commission pressures Athens to re-implement the Dublin
Regulation � stipulating that refugees can be returned to the first EU state they arrived
in � the Greek migration minister told Spiegel his country is not in a position to do so.
The agreement was put on hold for Greece back in 2011 over problems in the country�s asylum
system.
�Greece is already shouldering a heavy burden,� Ioannis Mouzalas, the migration minister,
said.
�We accommodate 60,000 refugees... and it would be a mistake to make Greece�s burden
heavier by the revival of the Dublin agreement,� he said, also adding that Germany, the primary
destination for most refugees, �wants countries where refugees arrive first to bear a large
portion of the burden.�
Asked if Athens is ruling out implementation of the Dublin Regulation, Mouzalas answered
in the affirmative, adding, �I want the Germans to understand that this is not because
of political or ideological reasons, or failure to appreciate Germany�s assistance.�
�Greece simply has no capacities to cope with additional arrival of refugees,� he
said.
�We�ve just pulled ourselves together, so please, don�t make us falter again.�
At this stage, Mouzalas said, Greece is ready to accommodate only a small number of refugees

Plutonium in a Star? An alien nuclear waste dump? Przybylski's Star Update 03/28/17 - Duration: 9:34.
I often give updates on strange stars on this channel that have no ready explanation, such
as Boyajian's star and the possibility that it might indicate alien activity.
But there is another star that also may be an indicator of an alien civilization that's
currently making the rounds on several science blogs, links in the description below.
And it may even be a better candidate for being a potential detection of alien life
than Boyajian's star.
The difference between the two is that while KIC 8462852's strange dimming events could
indicate alien megastructures blocking light from the star, that's probably not the case,
see the other videos dedicated to that star on this channel.
Its much more likely that what we're actually seeing an incredibly rare natural event, such
as the star recently having ingested a planet.
But, while the explanation for Boyajian's star is going to be interesting whatever it
might be, it's probably going to be a variant of something we've seen before or expected
to be going on in the universe and won't require a rethink of a whole area of science.
This circumstances of this other star, however, are very different.
Now, I tend to try to get the naming of the celestial objects I talk about on this channel
as correct as I can get them, or I simply default to the official catalog numbers if
there is ambiguity surrounding it.
After all, KIC 8462852 is also known as the WTF star, Tabby's Star, Boyajian's star, the
alien megastructure star and so on, though it seems to be settling on Boyajian's star
as a matter of giving proper scientific naming credit to the lead investigator.
But with this star I fall completely short, this star does have an accepted name and I
apologize to any Polish speakers in the audience in advance.
The pronunciation for this star is all over the place on the internet, and the best I
could do was ask a person I know that speaks a bit of Polish.
I'm told that something close to the proper pronunciation for this star is Przybylski's
Star.
I'm sure I got that wrong, Polish words are about as tough to pronounce as it gets for
native English speakers, but at least I didn't chicken out and tried.
But, for the sake of clarity, I will run and hide for the rest of the video and use the
catalog name for the star, which is HD 101065.
But we could also call this star the Plutonium Star because it apparently contains it, along
with a bunch of other ultra heavy elements that are both highly unstable, and very short-lived.
Those should not be there and can mean one of three things: elements exist that we did
not really expect to see in nature, the detection of the ultra-heavy elements is a mistake,
or aliens made them artificially and dumped them into this star.
Now, these elements are at the very end of the periodic table, a mysterious place where
we know comparatively little about the chemistry of the transuranic elements and some of them
have only relatively recently been synthesized artificially in the lab.
Outside the lab, we see these elements, so far, nowhere in the universe other than in
this type of weird star.
In fact, these heavy elements are so far up the table that some physicists and chemists
are skeptical that they can exist in nature and can only be artificially synthesized.
Given that they seem present in this star it means that we either need to rethink the
mechanisms for which heavy elements can be produced in nature, or we must consider the
possibility that aliens put them there.
HD 101065 is chemically weird in many ways.
First studied in 1961 by the aforementioned Polish-Australian scientist whose name is
in the title of the video, apologies to him and his original paper is also listed in the
description, the star features very low iron and nickel but comparatively high amounts
of heavy elements like thorium and uranium.
Now, these do occur in nature, so it's really the ratios that are strange.
But it also seems to contain actinide elements heavier than uranium that don't make a whole
lot of sense for being there.
These include, reportedly, in ascending order, americium, curium, berkelium (only about one
gram of that element has ever been created on earth), californium and einsteinium.
There is some ambiguity as to whether those are really there, only more study will clear
that up, but also present are the lighter but still radioactive elements technetium,
which has no stable isotopes and is extremely rare in nature, but may be related to the
presence of the uranium, and promethium which also has only radioactive isotopes.
Plus, lots of other rare elements that you don't hear much about.
Yet, HD 101065 has them in comparative abundance, apparently impossibly so.
In fact, as Jason Wright of Pennsylvania state university notes in his blog, this star has
more praseodymium -- how often do you hear about that element -- than iron.
This could be somewhat illusory however.
Dr. Wright details how those elements might get concentrated in the star's atmosphere
in layers due to the very strong, somewhat mysteriously so, magnetic fields of this type
of peculiar star.
I highly recommend those wishing to dig deeper into this story check out his blog and the
other related materials which I have included links and citations for in the description
below.
So how do all of these strange elements end up in a star's upper atmosphere?
A 2008 paper by Vera Gopka and colleagues, link below, details that they might be produced
by a nearby neutron star.
Trouble is, HD 101065 does not appear to have a nearby neutron star.
Strike that explanation.
The next explanation has to do with the periodic table.
Now here is where we get into scientific rethink territory.
The heavy actinide elements do not like to exist.
The nuclei of these atoms are truly huge and essentially fall apart or decay into more
stable atoms releasing energy along the way.
This allows you to do interesting things, such as easily split atoms of uranium, this
yields nuclear energy, but also unfortunately allows for the creation of nuclear weaponry.
But above the unstable actinides there is hypothesized to be what is called "the island
of stability" where there could be more stable, but really heavy atoms.
We've never seen any of these yet, but the nuclear physicists do keep synthesizing heavier
and heavier elements and seem set to eventually explore this area of the periodic table and
confirm the properties of these atoms.
But a paper from March 13 by V.A.
Dzuba and colleagues proposes that such elements might be produced in a certain type of supernova
and that the weirdness of HD 101065 might be the result of the decay of more stable,
but still radioactive, elements located in the island of stability leading to all these
short-lived unstable actinides and rare elements.
If this is the case, it would be revolutionary for both nuclear physics and chemistry that
such elements could exist in nature.
But, I suspect this one will be contentious because conventional thinking has been that
these elements are not likely to be present in nature.
And a further question would be that if a supernova was responsible, where is all the
iron that is normally associated with supernovas?
So to explain this star, we must rely on hypothetical elements decaying after being created by a
hypothetical mechanism that counter intuitively didn't produce much iron, or that iron is
somehow obscured in this star's makeup.
Messy indeed.
And that leads us into alien origin territory.
In 1980 Daniel Whitmore and David Wright, again citations below, advanced a rather extraordinary
proposition.
They suggested that a civilization using nuclear energy might dump the waste into their star.
The problem with this though is that it seems unlikely that a civilization with the ability
to dump that waste into their star would still be using nuclear fission but instead would
have moved onto fusion.
After all, we're getting close to that ourselves and within 100 years fission as an energy
source seems likely to go obsolete.
That takes us to another possibility.
In 1966 Sagan and Shklovskii suggested that one way to announce your presence to the universe
is to dump a bunch of artificial elements into your star.
They might rightly assume that other civilizations in varying stages of advancement would be
doing astronomy and actively looking at the spectra of stars.
So rather than blast out huge, energy consuming radio signals it might be simpler to use the
heavy elements to inform others that they are not alone.
That doesn't really convey much information, unfortunately but if it turns out that island
of stability elements cannot be naturally created then this will be one of the biggest
stories in the history of science.
In the end, however, it's always safest to assume that a natural explanation will eventually
be found and aliens are a very broad explanation and always the least likely.
If you have to bet, bet on nature.
But out of all the weird potential alien-related material that I cover on this channel, this
is the weirdest I have yet seen.
