is that it's so vital for a company to keep the business rolling,
and that's how our contribution has a deep effect.
When you get to talk to someone with business responsibility,
you level with someone who is actually interested in how the sales are going.

but I feel that Columbia Road's impact on our clients is pretty big.
And my impact on Columbia Road, it feels huge as well.
It's like our work actually matters.
I feel like we're on to something new here. We look at things from a different perspective
than anywhere else before or anything I've done before.
We don't just replicate the same project for everyone.
We don't work only on technology or design,

Papaianni Group: efficienza energetica per il settore florovivaistico - English Subt - Duration: 3:37.
We are an agricultural holding specialized in
the production of cut flowers and potted plants.
We spread over around 32 hectares of air conditioned
greenhouses and use electricity for both air
conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter.
The choice of installing a cogeneration system was made
essentially because this system is the best solution
to meet the energy requirements of our business,
in terms of both thermal and electrical energy.
This is what took us in this direction.
We have installed three one-megawatt units
with 1.4 megawatt of thermal power output.
We consume 70% of the electricity and 100% of
the thermal energy produced by the installation.
Therefore, we are absolutely taking full
advantage of our cogeneration system.
Additionally, we use the CO2 produced from fume reduction
system of the cogenerator for growing our plants.
We use two sources of energy, the electrical energy is used for
automation, lighting and cooling the installations, whereas the
heat is used to heat the greenhouses during the winter.
We have two types of systems, one overhead and one underground, used
to bring the temperature to around 23-24 degrees during the winter.
The financial advantage of using a cogeneration system of this
type, in addition to exploiting the electrical and thermal energy
that it produces, is also linked to obtaining 'green certificates';
in fact, for this type of installation for High Yield Cogeneration,
the government awards the so-called green certificates.
Therefore, the benefit is both operational - by utilising
the energy produced, and financial - by obtaining these incentives.
Today, due to the cost of the energy in our country, it has almost
become indispensable to have a system of this type to produce energy.
As we all know, the cost of electrical energy and
gas rise year on year, and the rise of energy costs
over the last five years has been around 40-50%.
Therefore, in order to carry out an activity like
ours, taking advantage of the energy resources in
the best way possible is almost essential.

Umu: She's from a girl group called Girl's Generation
Shimon: Oh I've- Oh
*looks at Naoki*
Shimon: Yeah
Naoki: What Shimon: It's a it's a-
Naoki: You're looking at me like I know. This is my first
*play fight*
*Rossini's Semiramide Overture plays*
Umu: Ready?
So this is another female artist except this-
Lindsey: This is the one who's in Shake that Brass
Umu: mmm YES Davis: Yeah
Davis: I remember that too. Didn't we talk about that this weekend Umu: Niiceeee
Umu: So this is Taeyeon
She also splits off to do her own solo works
Umu: And this is her most recent- Lindsey: And Shake that Brass
Umu: Yes and Shake that Brass
Collabs
Shimon: Yeah th- th- their popular in Japan. I've heard of them
*Says GG in Japanese* (I'm an English captioner so don't expect translations lol)
Naoki: What's that
Shimon: *Girl in Japanese* Naoki: Oh Girl
Naoki: Yeah
Shimon: *Continued Generation in Japanese* Naoki: What's jidai, something question?
Shimon: Generation
Naoki: Oh ok
Oh wait that's their Japanese name
Shimon: Yeah exactly Naoki: Oh they have a separate Korean and Japanese name is what you're saying
Shimon: Yeah yeah yeah yeah Naokie: Oh
Emiel: I Got Love
Umu: So this is her most recent one that also came out a few days ago and I was just like this is different (Note: this is old footage)
Like I mean it's a little bit more American pop-y but still I just really enjoyed listening to it and it would be cool if you guys explained what you liked about it too
Kevin: Dabaga go
*Click*
Gwen: Oh f*** me up first of all those boots Hugo: F***ing glitter
Kevin: Tch that's pretty Yunyi: Spark-
Henry: Wow! Fiona: Oohhh
Kevin: Acoustic drum
Hugo: Oh f*** Gwen: Yeah
Kevin: Oh yeah
Yunyi: Oh it's like modern cabaret
Lindsey: Immediately oh woah
Kevin: Oh filters
Henry: Wwwwow
This is pretty intense
Naoki: I mean the voice is completely different
Hugo: Damn!
Ungh
Yunyi: That bass is overwhelming but in the best way
Henry: Is she like lowkey running a very very lucrative yet very very illegal diamond- Emiel: this is like the most diamonds
Emiel: -I've ever seen in my entire life
Henry: Trade or something Fiona: She's beautiful
Hugo: Music wise, holy sh*t! Gwen: Teehahah
Kevin: Suspensions overload
Gwen: You know those songs that when you're wearing six inch heels
Gwen: You put on and you're just- Hugo: Yeah, f*** yeah!
Fiona: Yes Henry: So much gliteeerrrr
Gwen: And you like- you walk and it's just like, murder
Emiel: Wow
Kevin: Of the kpop songs we've heard this one borders on American pop a little more than the others Yunyi: It does
Kevin: Yeah
Fiona: Oooh Henry: Oooh I see
Yunyi: OOohhhh Woah! Kevin: *flips out* that's-
Lindsey: I like how it seemed like there should be a drop but then it just went ptttptp
Gwen: And it's like- Hugo: I love this minimalism here
Naoki: There's guitar with like a modulator thing
Kevin: It's a very filtered Umu: Saxophone
Kevin: Saxophone Yunyi: It sounded almost like a flute
Kevin: Yeah
Naoki: Does it sound like a wind- It doesn't sound winded like a wind instrument Shimon: No it was definitely plugged
Emiel: This song definitely has an acquired taste to it Henry: Yeah
Henry: I don't know if I have the taste Emiel: If you don't have the taste for this, you definitely don't enjoy it
Emiel: as much as you should if you had the taste for it
Henry: Do you have the taste for this kind of music Fiona: I think I kinda like it Emiel: See I'm kinda half way which is why I'm not really gettin the full of it
Lindsey: Oh there's no beat anymore now
Umu: Is her voice good?
Yunyi: I love those fourths Kevin: Blown by the instrumentals
Yunyi: I love those fourths
Kevin: Yeah it's pretty well done
Gwen: It's- it's good for the style
Hugo: It's lower
Hugo: It's lower than most kpop artists we've listened to Gwen: yeah it's- she's- she's hella alto
Kevin: Duuuuut
Hugo: She knows how to use her range though
Kevin: I like how the- the note's a little sharp
Yunyi: Yeah yeah yeah
Again, microtonal composition
Kevin: It's almost a half step sharper
Umu: *yawns something* Yunyi: Almost Kevin: Yeah
Yunyi: It's like a little past a quarter tone Kevin: Uh huh
Henry: Ta- there was just drums for no reason
Ooh
Hey now
Kevin: You're right, harmonically it's as simple as it gets
But it totally captures the vibe
Lindsey: It- it like- It just like slightly scoops up a little it's like BWAAH BWaah Bwooh bwuuh
Naoki: It's almost jazzy with that kind of range
Like that kind of sound as well when she's down lower
Henry: I love the diamond imagery of like all- like
You know like the multiple frames, like the sort of kaleidoscopey sort of thing
And then there's the ff- the shot where she's like in the mirror
Hugo: Ooh that was good that was really f***ing good!
That vocal line had just the right amount of resonance to it
It was like, it wasn't belty but it wasn't screaming
Lindsey: You- It like-
When you're just listening to the backgrounds you almost don't really feel a strong
Naoki: Is it plugged I can' tell
Lindsey: Key or like
Whatever but I mean there definitely is one
Emiel: Sharp four
It's like sharp four to five on the top line. It's kinda uhggmh
Gwen: Hell yeah
Hugo: It was
Different but I liked it. It was definitely different than anything we've watched so far
Umu: Ok but yeah what did you think overall of that song?
Naoki: Yeah that was cool
Shimon: Very different Naoki: I'd like another listen to it I think
Hugo: This is empowerment Gwen: This is like a woman who's like rich husband that didn't really love her died
Gwen: 4 months ago and she's not sad about it
His massive champagne collection she's just like bathing in it and she's just like soooooo- Hugo: What the f*** are you talkin' about! (Same)
Gwen: Cool Hugo: What the f*** are you talking about Umu: I can see it, I could see it!
Gwen: She's a badass woman
Hugo: I d- no that I do not argue with I'm just like how did you get to that storyline
Fiona: She's fabulous she's like *sassy snap* I'm in charge
Henry: That definitely was like- Emiel: Took control of the stage Fiona: Girl you got it
Hugo: It was a really cool song, it was kind of- Gwen: I liked it!
*Hugo so done*
Gwen: That was on- Hugo: Yeah
Gwen: That was on purpose Hugo: Yeah yeah
Hugo: Ok you know what else is on purpose *Pretend punch*
Umu: HAHAHAHHAHA Gwen: :000
Umu: But she's never done this type of video. She usually does like very nature, natural
Lindsey: Oh then this is an awesome contrast to that Davis: Oh ok Umu: So this is new
Davis: Then this is incredible Lindsey: Then this is like- this is like I am woman
Lindsey: Hear me roar
Lindsey: Awwrrrrrrr hehehe Davis: Yeah that's where I'm getting all the beyonce from
Umu: Ok LIndsey: That's- that's what I'm getting from her Davis: Very female empowering
Emiel: Bass was good, the mids and the highs were eennnnggg a bit questionable
Emiel: But it was good
It was kinda- it wasn't as enjoyable as it could've been if I had like the taste for it
Umu: Mhm Henry: They used a synthesizer that kinda sounded like a very distorted guitar but it was so like
I thought that was Fender Rhodes that was really really distorted
Umu: Oh Emiel: It could've been too Henry: The Eeeng eenng unng unnnngg
Umu: It sounded like backwards saxophone to me Emiel: Honestly you can make any-
Henry: Fender Rhodes
Umu: But honestly like just what you said, you didn't get tired of it
Umu: Because I was listening and I'm like this is repetitive but *Whispers* I like it Kevin: Exactly yeah Yunyi: Yeah
Umu: *Whispers* What the f***
Yunyi: Cuz it's so funky that you just want more of it each time Umu: And like the video was so cool
Kevin: Yeah, I like how it uses video effects more than just like glamorous background
Like sometimes you know there's the little *noise* the little mosaic that kind of appears for a little bit
Kevin: It's- yeah, nice for retro Yunyi: It was so- It was just so classy
Kevin: Mhm I agree
Umu: Let's do, let's do Taeyeon I
So this is her original style. She's more of like a natural, naturey type of person *Reaction filmed a few weeks later, hence the change of clothes lol*
Umu: and this is very more acoustic and- Shimon: nature
Umu: Wait, first introduce yourself while you're feeling Gwen's hair
*WOOOO ANOTHER PERSON*
Jeremy: Hi I'm Jeremy, I am subbing for Hugo right now
I am a freshman vocalist and I have participated in the vocalists react *Ep 2 coming soon*
before but you have not seen that yet so stay tuned
Umu: Hugo is super busy (dead jk) for the next few weeks with opera
Gwen: Sooo we kicked him out Jeremy: Even though I'm in the opera too
Gwen: Yeah basically subtweet Hugo
Gwen: Get your life together Jeremy: Like @Hugo come here (That's not his handle btw)
Gwen: Hey at least he won't
Hate me
Umu: You've seen I Got Love Jeremy: I have
Umu: What were your first thoughts
Jeremy: Uh well the video was like
A little
Jeremy: Odd but Umu: Hyaahahahaha
Jeremy: Not out of line of what a lot of people are doing with American pop music as well
And the music I liked a lot except for like there was this one part of the chorus that just like
Was a little freaky
Jeremy: I don't know Umu: Freaky, is that the part where she stops singing and then it was like the weird synth part
Gwen: Nyewww
Jeremy: Yeah it's like a weird sound I don't know what it was
Umu: Yes I know what you're talking about Jeremy: Yeah it was a little freaky
Umu: Let's go
*Misses click*
*Click*
Umu: Tah XD
Henry: Look at all that ocean
Gwen: One, Taeyeon (Gwen she just told you it's I)
Kevin: Portland?
Henry: Are they in Portland?
Kevin: Oh my gosh
Henry: I love Portland, Oregon. Its- tha- that was the state of Washington (Henry you just said it's in Oregon)
Gwen: Grass
Hnenry: Aw Emiel: Got some nice photoshoots here
Henry: Oh it wasn't the state of Washington. It was Portland... Oregon
Shimon: Oh I remember her last intro too Naoki: Wait is she speaking English
*Swooned*
Henry: Wow Fiona: Is this country haha Emiel: Good voice
Henry: Is this country XDXD
Jeremy: She sounds a lot more natural here
Naoki: Man this is pretty cool
That bass, I'm liking that bass
Emiel: Yeah her voice is really good
Yunyi: Oh Kevin: Oh no what
Henry: Sevenths unnng that's beautiful
Shimon: I like that
Gwen: Also
This guy's
cool
Emiel: Some good rapping
Shimon: White people (Omg lol)
Yunyi: I just kinda wanna listen Kevin: My chem- I'm getting My Chemical Romance
Yunyi: How? Kevin: Vibe
Yunyi: Oh the duh diguduhduh Kevin: Yeah, yeah yeah yeah
Gwen: Oh don't yell at her she's really cute
Henry: What's the deal with him Fiona: You jerk
Naoki: What's that, I don't remember Shimon: SHEEP!
Naoki: SHEEP IT MUST BE FILMED IN NEW ZEALAND Shimon: SHEEP SHEEP SHEEP
Gwen: She- yeah she has an actual like
Resonance in this style
Davis: Wow I don't know how to describe this music right now
Davis: You know what I mean. What are- it sounds like
Lindsey: The whole thing's like over a tonic pedal
Lindsey: You hear like NNnnngngngnng
Jeremy: This style of music is much more suited for her voice. I'm not saying the other song wasn't it's just that they're such different extremes
Kevin: The melody is still very kpop though
Dun duh dun duh dun dun dun dun
Naoki: OH WAIT WAIT GO BACK I HAVE TO STOP IT Shimon: No no no no we can't
Naoki: Yes we have to go and see that city Shimon: We can't go back no no we're already recording
Naoki: Ok we're checking after Shimon: We can go back after we're done
Kevin: Like you don't hear that in American
Kevin: It's like so based on a pentatonic scale, I mean there are a couple of other notes but there's like a pentatonic skeleton Yunyi: You're right
Kevin: I like pentatonic skeletons
Davis: This is like straight up Caucasian, just American pop music right now
Yunyi: What is even happening harmonically
Yunyi: Has it- I feel like it just- Kevin: I think it's intriguing
Yunyi: Bit on one and moved
Kevin: Yeah Yunyi: From ch- like third relations
Emiel: There's nothing that pops out like it usually does you know there's always something weird that sticks out like right off the bat
Kevin: My life is so beauti-.... ful
Ful? *looks to umu for reassurance*
Umu: Are you liking the instrumentals and the melodic lines
Jeremy: Yeah, I liked it more so in the beginning Umu: Mhm
Jeremy: But I still really like it Gwen: Well I really like- I like the kind of strummed electric guitar in the background a lot
Henry: Is she just about to quit
Henry: Do it, Do it! Fiona: Quit your job. She's quitting her job Emiel: Oh
Fiona: She was inspired by the magic butterfly I told you
Henry: I'm out
Henry: Adios b*tch Emiel: Butterfly changed her life Fiona: Screw you
Fiona: I'm stealing your car Henry: I'm ta- hah I'm steal Emiel: Hahahaha
Henry: *gibberish*
Fiona: *Gibberish*
Davis: Yeah it's pretty vanilla I think they something to spicen it up here
Umu: Mhm
Lindsey: Do you he- There is seriously a tonic pedal going on in the entire thing Davis: Oh yeah, yeah
Naoki: That looks like a New Zealand pay machine. Like it actually does Shimon: MMMMMMmmmmmmmmm
Kevin: Oh my gosh Yunyi: Right
Yunyi: Beauty standards
Yunyi: Out the roof right now Kevin: Yup
Yunyi: Sev, one, five, three
Fiiivee, threeee
Yunyi: Seeevvveeennn Kevin: It's interesting how-
Kevin: Unlike other pop songs this one substitutes a five chord with a five like-
Naoki: She's gonna eat the flower hah Shimon: Hah I thought she had butterflies
Naoki: Oh haha
Kevin: Six four chord, one six four chord. So the bass is still five but it's like
Shimon: It's squirming inside her mouth Umu: *is eating salad and dies* Oh my god HAHahahah Naoki: Waaaiiit that acutally looks really fa- familiar
I feel like that's in Paihia (I looked that up guys I'm proud)
Gwen: Wait it has very rock vibes, like very soft rock vibes but then there's the electronic beats and
stuff like that under it with some synth
Yunyi: yeah this ch- this ch- Kevin: Product placement XD
Gwen: If she was a waitress how does she afford a BMW (She stole her boss' car remember)
Umu: Heh
Jeremy: Rich daddy (That word causes me physical pain but lol)
Yunyi: This song is like, exploiting
how the major seventh chord on one utilizes like both tonic and dominant functions (This honestly sounds like math)
Umu: It was shot in New Zealand
Naoki: I told you
Gwen: It's just so powerful
It's like overwhelming in a good way
Kevin: I guess so Yunyi: It's kinda cool cuz if you just play within the major seven chord and add in like, add in a nine
You get like scale degrees one, two, three, five and seven. And then so you can build dominant and tonic- SO IT CAN BE DOMINANT AND TOMIC!
Yunyi: Dominant- Umu: YOU DID IT AGAIN!!
Yunyi: Dominant and tonic!
Shimon: WOooooaaaaaahhh Naoki: Wait what
Yunyi: At the same time
Naoki: What
Fiona: -a minute, wait there's two of them!
Kevin: Woah
Henry: What Fiona: Did you just see that
Kevin: Oh double the beauty standards
Gwen: I'm confused she's lookin at herself
Yunyi: Woah
Gwen: She's lookin at herself
Naoki: Wait are the- they representative of two different styles or something
Lindsey: Oh she's living two different liiiveess because that's the one in New Zealand and the one in f***in Portland, Oregan Davis: But she's saying, I
Kevin: Wumppumpumpumpumpumpum (Yes I counted the pums)
Kevin: It's just me myself and I (Oh my gosh)
Fiona: AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
Jeremy: Yeah there were two different storylines
Fiona: So she was missing her inner self, she just met her inner self on the beach because
She- she lost herself by going and taking that crappy job, by putting up with stuff she had to change herself as a person to make others happy
And she quit everything, she came to that beach and found her- her real self in the wild with sheep
Emiel: Wow
Shimon: You wanna check the city scape
Naoki: Yeah yeah let's do that
It looked like the Auckland city scape just putting it out there now that I know it's in New Zealand
OH!
Hang on
*Click*
Naoki: That's the sky tower, that's the ANZ building (I had to look the 2nd one up too lol)
That's the ver- That's the toilet seat building! (Vero Centre, it does kinda look like one)
So that means she's probably filming ooonnn the north shore like at Devonport
Umu: I wonder if they did film in two places, No when I looked it up it just said New Zealand (It was a bar in New Zealand called The Portland Public House)
Umu: But it could be like- it could be like Lindsey: Well it said Portland cafe and everyone was super American so (Her older brother was in the cafe apparently)
Umu: What did you think of this song musically, her voice
Gwen: Oh it was pretty, it was just really pretty
Jeremy: Yeah I think her voice is really nice
I- I mean I would want to hear something acoustic
Of her
Jeremy: She sounds really good Gwen: Well this, was comparatively pretty acoustic but Umu: Right
Umu: We're definitely gonna be hearing more of her Um I'm just running a few things by Kevin and to make- to double check like to make sure like hey is this musically interesting enough for us to react to
Davis: Oh you can hear it going where it's gonna go Lindsey: Oh I agree, the whole thing seems very Americanized
Davis: I don't know there's just like a depth that isn't really there it was just a little underseasoned
Umu: Did you at least like her voice
Davis: Yeah she had a good voice Lindsey: Oh yeah no she's great but it's just the song itself, like the overall song was just meh
Lindsey: I didn't- it's not that I didn't like it
I just
Didn't like it
Kevin: I don't think it's that American Umu: Ok
Kevin: It's definitely that pop rock area like maybe a little towards the Coldplay side
Fiona: I like that the chorus is really catchy, *Sings chorus*
Which got kinda old
Henry: That was some pretty aggressive seventh motion happening Fiona: It was- it was so powerful
Emiel: Her voice is just really good too Henry: Her voice was really good
Umu: Can say like why out of first listen someone might think this sounds American-y
Kevin: The chord progressions for sure Yunyi: Yeah dude it was just kind of on one chord the whole time
Yunyi: But then, the major seventh chord Kevin: It kind of- yeah the thing is
Kevin: Dominant is the chord that wants to go to tonic
But in this- Ugh I'm gonna, i'm gonna come on do the thing do the thing
The chorus goes like
The bass notes are
just very very
Simple
And most artists would do
So we hear this chord we think it goes either to here or here because...
That's the dominant chord, it likes to go places
But in this song
She substitutes it for
It's like a six four chord
And it doesn't want to go anywhere, it- just the whole song just feels like you know it feels more mellow, it feels more vanilla and it feels like
Not directionless because of the rhythm still leads it but like it's just
Harmonically not as driven
Dude I didn't even hear chord changes in that song, I- I heard everything- Kevin: Really it's because you see the seventh
yunyi: yeah I heard everything
yeah I heard everything as suspensions or appoggiaturas of the major seventh chord
yunyi: cuz like the....root was like hammered in like the
whole song umu: *sings* root root root
umu: rooooot is this rooot yunyi: yeah that's root
kevin: root is one, but the chorus actually doesn't have the root...you see the chorus just goes umu: still singing root
umu pls
yunyi: in the instrumentals it wasn't there
kevin: because there's no dominant, everything feels like one
yunyi orr- like but the things is it's not like totally placid

Gwen: This one Jeremy: Uhh yeah this one
Naoki: Oh this one is way better, it's way more authentic. Like I'm not biased at all Shimon: Hahahahaha
Shimon: Hahahaha Naoki: It could be filmed in Australia and I'd still say the same thing
Umu: But only music-wise
Naoki: No I actually really liked it, it like
Shimon: Was peaceful
Naoki: Yeah it conveyed this kind of like natural kind of atmosphere
Shimon: I like this one better, it was laid back and you know we needed the variety of intense music and peaceful music, it's a nice balance
Umu: Ok so right after that you guys already like I Got Love better?
Davis: Oh yeah Lindsey: Oh yeah yeah yeah
Fiona: I like this one more
Umu: Ok so both of you I Got Love better?
Kevin: Yes Umu: Even though it was like a style that isn't her usual

Kevin: You got love for I Got Love Yunyi: W- I can not talk today
Kevin: I got love for love XD Yunyi: I think I'm having a Hugo and Gwen 3 hours of sleep moment

There was this channel - Big Thrill - it used to air some time back.
We watched it and it peaked our interest.
They showed thrills of different kinds, the kinds of risks people are taking.
Actually, we have this…
People on this show - they would climb poles: We used to watch 'Don't Look Down'.
From that we got into the hobby of B-boying… then cycling on the pole.
We fell down quite a few times. We did it again…till we got it.
Chhota Bheem was something we enjoyed as kids; now we're into Dragon Ball Z.
We drew a lot.
After sketching, we moved to tattoos. We used to draw tattoos on our arms.
Experimenting with spray art, we started watching a lot of videos on YouTube.
We observed and then tried out few things ourselves.
Once while we were doing graffiti, a policeman showed up.
Yeah, we told uncle we were working on some production. After that, he didn't object much.
We didn't leave it half-finished - it was half-done - but we completed it.
Now, we finish what we start.
A few days later, we ran into him.
Uncle said you do this well, this and that. He said he saw it. He saw the whole thing.
B-boying, dance, what else?
Tattoo… art… we don't believe in following anyone.
We do what comes to our hearts.

After 500 DC Kids Go Missing in 2017, Police Advise Kids to "Stay Home" - politics - Duration: 7:03.
After 500 DC Kids Go Missing in 2017, Police Advise Kids to Stay Home to Avoid Sex
Trafficking
Washington, D.C.
After over 500 juveniles were reported missing in D.C. since the beginning of 2017,
and a letter signed by several congressional officials requested federal assistance from
the Justice Department in investigating the matter, a DC police commander, when asked,
What preventative measures can young people take, specifically so they dont become
a victim of human trafficking? responded that the best advice for young people was
to Stay home, its as simple as that. It was during an interview last Wednesday
with Chanel Dickerson, the new commander of the D.C.
Police Youth and Family Services Division, on the Joe Clair Morning Show, when she was
asked about the reasons for the seemingly large increase in missing teens a sentiment
she pushed back against and what families can do to mitigate the issue when she gave
the controversial response.
Joe Clair: What preventative measures can young people take, specifically so they dont
become a victim of human trafficking?
Dickerson: Stay home, its as simple as that.
If they stay home, it reduces the risk.
Im not saying thats the fix-all but thats where we have to start.
We have to start small, this is a problem and itll take a community effort, but we
have to start small.
Community members and celebrities alike displayed disdain towards Dickersons advice to stay
home to avoid the dangers of being a victim of human trafficking.
Rapper Wale took to twitter to give the D.C. police some advice, suggesting that perhaps
rather than telling people to stay home they should come up with a plan.
Although DC police have claimed there was no uptick in the total of missing girls, and
blamed the increased awareness of the missing teens on a broader social media campaign,
community members still felt inclined to draw more attention to the issue starting their
own search committees, according to CBS report.
Weve just been posting them on social media more often, said Metropolitan Police
spokeswoman Rachel Reid.
A quick look at the Twitter profile for the DC police department reveals it to be quite
literally riddled with images of missing young black and latino girls.
In spite of the officials concern and the posts on Twitter, police are assuring the
public that there is nothing out of the ordinary.
Yet, despite DC police working to calm public uproar over the growing number of missing
girls, and attesting to the seriousness of the missing youth issue, a letter obtained
by the Associated Press, and signed by Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Cedric Richmond (D-La)
and Del.
Eleanor Holmes Norton, who represents D.C. in Congress, asked FBI Director James Comey
and Attorney General Jeff Sessions to devote the resources necessary to determine whether
these developments are an anomaly or whether they are indicative of an underlying trend
that must be addressed. Ten children of color went missing in our
nations capital in a period of two weeks and at first garnered very little media attention.
Thats deeply disturbing, Richmonds letter said.
As the AP reports, the District of Columbia logged 501 cases of missing juveniles, many
of them black or Latino, in the first three months of this year, according to the Metropolitan
Police Department, the citys police force.
Twenty-two were unsolved as of March 22, police said.
Although Dickerson attempts to dispel talk of these girls being kidnapped and sold into
slavery by human traffickers, notice how she denotes in large numbers as a qualifier,
meaning she didnt rule out the fact that there are human traffickers in the area preying
on young girls.
We have no indication to believe that young girls in the District are being preyed upon
by human traffickers in large numbers, said police commander Chanel Dickerson, leader
of the Youth and Family Services division, according to NBC News 4.
Whether these recent disappearances are an anomaly or signals of underlying trends,
it is essential that the Department of Justice and the FBI use all of the tools at their
disposal to help local officials investigate these events, and return these children to
their parents as soon as possible, Congressman Richmond said.
As the Free Thought Project pointed out on several occasions, some of these traffickers
have already been caught in D.C. and some of them have been cops.
Linwood Barnhill Jr., a veteran of the D.C.
Police Department, was exposed by the Free Thought Project for running a child sex ring
out of his house.
In 2014, in an early morning search warrant issued for his Southeast D.C. apartment found
a 15-year-old girl who had previously been reported missing by her parents.
When police rescued the girl she told officers that she had met six other girls inside the
Southeast D.C. apartment who told her they were also being prostituted, including with
ads posted on backpage.com.
Barnhill also took naked photos of the girls, purportedly for use in advertisements for
sex.
Marijuana, condoms and a large mirror were also seized from the apartment; law enforcement
officials say that the seized mirror had the names of other females who were being trafficked
written on it.
Around that same time, another cop in the area was also exposed and arrested for trafficking
teens.
Lamin Manneh, 32, of Baltimore, pleaded guilty to traveling across state lines and using
a telephone and internet to operate a prostitution business using two teens he prostituted out
over 300 times.
Some, such as former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, suggest the implications of digging
into human trafficking go far deeper than a few DC cops, and will hit at the core of
both the Democrats and Republican political parties.
After President Trump held a press conference last month, in which he detailed his plans
to go after the victims of the human trafficking epidemic, former U.S. Congresswoman Cynthia
McKinney weighed in on the subject, noting that going after child predators will lead
to the downfall of both Republicans and Democrats in the United States as this problem goes
all the way to the top.
Please share this story in hope that this increased public pressure will force police
to reprioritize their efforts away from victimless crimes, and toward the stopping the exploitation
of the most vulnerable among us.

Best Earphones Under ₹1500/$20? (Review : Mi In Ear Headphones Pro ) - Duration: 6:09.
Hi Everybody Welcome to BestUnder.in and Today we bring you a Detailed Review of the Mi In-Ear
Headphone Pro priced at Rs. 1,399 in India.
Xiaomi is known primarily for making premium smartphones.
But they found themselves on the radar of audio lovers everywhere with the launch of
Xiaomi Piston 2.0 in-ears.
Fast forward a little, and these Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro came out with a brand new design
and slightly different sound.
It has a similar design to the Piston III's, but a new sound which we will unveil soon.
This review unit has been sent to us, as a free gift by GearBest.com.
Internationally these are known as Xiaomi Mi IV Hybrid Dual Drivers Earphones And if
you wanna buy these earphones, then Best Buy links for them have been provided in the description
below.
Be sure to check them out!
So Let's start with the unboxing.
The earphones comes in two colors gold/white and silver/black.
We have the gold/white variant with us which looks very good.
The box contains A set of Mi In-Ear headphones pro and 3 sets of ear buds, each with a different
size(XS/S/L).
Coming to the design of the earphones.
Build-wise, the Mi In-Ear Pro headphones are neatly constructed, with metal bodies fused
tightly with plastic bases.
Xiaomi has kept an angled design that shoots sound into your ear.
This angled design of earbuds help the Mi In-Ear Pro headphones to fit into the ear,
although the size does pose an obstacle.
Frankly speaking, These in ears are slightly larger than others in the same price segment.
Although this does not overbear on ears, it is still noticeable, and keeps you aware of
its presence.
The cable is made with "break-resistant" Kevlar fibers that are supposed to increase
durability.
Though we won't do any stress tests on it but the headphone did survive being tossed
around and stuffed in pockets without a problem.
One thing we did notice was that it still gets tangled a little too easily for something
that's supposed to be tangle resistant.
The in-line control and mic are placed well, to make sure that audio reception by the microphone
does not face any problem.
This gives it a nice feel and thankfully doesn't weigh the earbuds down.
They're still as light as ever.
We have three buttons on the controller.
Pressing The middle button once will pause/play music, twice will take it to next song and
thrice will take you back to the previous track.
You can also access Google Now by long pressing the middle button.
The top and bottom buttons control volume as usual.
Now coming on to the set of 3 extra pairs of ear tips of different sizes, many users
are complaining about none of them fitting into the ears comfortably enough and continuously
felling out.
Fortunately for us this was not a problem but you can always buy a comfortable set of
earbuds accordingly.
Now talking about Compatibility Xiaomi manufactures Android phones, so the
3-button mic and remote is completely compatible with Android Phones.
But according to user reviews, if you're an iOS user, you may have to just ignore the
buttons.
Only the microphone works well.
Calls made on both Android and iOS came through loud and clear with no complaints from people
on the other side, though as we said with iOS you may not be able to answer the call
by pressing the middle button.
Finally coming on to the Sound The Mi In-ear Headphones Pro have two sets
of drivers in each earbud to get the most out of the sound.
The hybrid dynamic driver inside the body, handles the mids and low end i.e. bass and
the balanced armature drivers towards the tip of the headphones, handles the highs i.e
treble.
The combination of these two almost works, except for the slightly biased trebles.
Xiaomi has even displayed a demo of this technology on it's web page for Mi In ear Headphone pro.
According to us The low end in these is deep and solid, with just the right amount of pump.
The Consistent bass sounds great and nothing in the low end ever gets out of control.
The Mids had a nice full sound to them but still miss out on finer details, despite the
rated frequency response rating of 20Hz to 20kHz.
Ample mids also lead to excellent in-call audio, and good mic reception means that the
Mi In-Ear Pro is a perfect companion for conference calls on the go.
Also, These in-ears handled the high end nicely, except when the volume is maxed out.
Luckily, these get plenty loud.
It is at reduced audio levels that the Mi In-Ear Pro sounds best.
The 70% volume is the sweet spot that delivers the best balance of bass, mids and highs,
and there is no sense of distortion here.
Everything had a good amount of detail.
If you're using Android you won't have an issue with the control module, but for
iOS users we are not really sure, they should be ready for a few hiccups.
The availability is the main problem as Xiaomi Products are always out of stock.
As we mentioned that Xiaomi Products in India are always out of stock and this product is
exclusively available on only Mi's Official website and Amazon.
At both places it is currently priced at Rs. 1400.
But we at BestUnder.in Bring you the best Deals.
And Fortunately you can buy these headphones from Gearbest.com where it is available anywhere
from $15 to $17 that will be around Rs. 1100.
Moreover the shipping is also free
So summing up all together you will have to pay somewhere around Rs. 1200 which is a far
better deal than WHAT YOU GET ON Mi official or Amazon India.
So after this review if you want to buy this earphone then head on to GearBest.com.
The Links are given in the description below.
Concluding, These are the best sounding in-ears Xiaomi has built but they do have their issues.
It may miss out on the perfect balance, but the balance is not too far off from the enjoyable
spot.
Solid build quality and great sound are what you look for in a pair of in-ears and these
deliver.
At only $16 i.e Rs. 1100 the pros easily outweigh the cons.
In fact For under Rs. 1500/$20 these are without a doubt one of the best in-ears you can get.

How to make Pineapple Water and What are the Benefits of Drinking It on an Empty Stomach - Duration: 3:17.
How to make Pineapple Water and What are the Benefits of Drinking It on an Empty Stomach?
You've heard of the super fruits, like blueberries, pomegranates and acia, and how they are amazingly
healthy for you.
However, did you know that there is another super food on the scene that can provide you
with tons and tons of benefits – and you probably don't even know it; it's pineapple!
This amazingly delicious, sweet, juicy and succulent fruit has been a beloved fruit for
centuries.
It received the name 'pineapple' because its prickly exterior resembles the shape of
a pinecone.
however, this meaty tropical fruit provides way more vitamins and nutrients for you than
a pinecone ever could.
Loaded with enzymes, such as promelain, as well as antioxidants and vitamin C, pineapples
are amazingly good for your health.
Eating pineapple is definitely good for you, but adding it to your water is also exceptionally
good for you.
How to Make Pineapple Water!
Making pineapple water is actually pretty simple.
All you have to do is cut up the fruit, remove the skin and toss a few pieces into a glass
of chilled water.
It's really just as easy as that.
Drink down the water, which has an amazing taste, and you'll immediately start to soak
up the benefits.
It's highly recommended that you drink this fruit infused water first thing in the morning,
before you eat a meal, so that you can fully absorb all of the vitamins, minerals and nutrients
that it provides.
Why is Pineapple Water Good for You?
There are dozens of reasons why this tropical fruit infused water is good for you.
Here's a look at just a small handful of the reasons why you should add at least one
glass of it to your daily routine.
It Combats Inflammation:
Pineapple is highly regarded for its ability to fight inflammation.
That's thanks to the enzyme bromelain, of which the tropical fruit contains a high amount
of.
This powerful enzyme has the ability to flush out the toxins in the body, and thus reduces
inflammation and its impact on the tissues and organs of the body.
People who suffer from arthritis and sports-related injuries should will particularly benefit
from the consumption of this water, as it can significantly reduce inflammation.
Aids in Weight Loss:
Another great reason to drink pineapple water on a daily basis is because of its ability
to help with weight loss.
Pineapple is high in fiber, which means that it takes a longer time for your digestive
system to break it down.
As a result, you'll feel fuller longer when you drink pineapple water.
When you drink it on an empty stomach, you'll experience less cravings for sugars and fats.
Flushes the Liver and Intestines:
As previously mentioned, pineapples contain bromelain, an enzyme that helps to flush out
toxins.
When you drink pineapple water, you will flush out the liver and the intestines, thus you'll
feel less bloated.

Will Ferrell's Best Sports Moments - Duration: 1:54.
Well Dick here's the deal, I'm the best there is
plain and simple I mean when I wake up I p*ss excellence
Will Ferrell's love affair with sports has been well documented.
From his ridiculous satires to his participation in professional athletics,
here are Will Ferrell's best sports moments.
The comedian is a proud alum of the University of Southern California and has portrayed the
Trojan mascot, appeared in promos for the school,
and played fake football coach Chuck Berry for the NFL Network
Are you trying not to get drafted?
Cause that's exactly how you not get drafted
One of Will Ferrell's most famous characters, Ron Burgundy, took a stab at anchoring SportsCenter
in this hilarious fake audition
Around the clock sports all the time?
That's the concept of the news
That's never gonna work!
That's ridiculous
Ferrell's turn as an obsessive youth soccer coach wasn't a hit with audiences or critics,
despite an extended cameo by NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka.
Why don't you grab me a juice box!
I'm no juice box boy I'll tell you that!
To raise money for charity the Cancer for College, Will took to the field, playing all
nine positions in five Major League Baseball exhibition games.
Me
Cup
Before the fame and glory, Will and fellow SNL castmate
Cheri Oteri dazzled as the Spartan Cheerleaders
Who's that spartan in my teepee?
It's me!
It's me!
and who's that spartan in my teepee?
It's me!
It's me!
The actor took his 6'3" frame to the hardwood, playing Jackie Moon, embattled player-owner
for the Flint Tropics.
Right back to you!
Ok!
Give it back again!
You got it!
No right back
No
Yeah
Disgraced figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy's epic team-up for gold
medal glory is the stuff of sports legend.
No one knows what it means but it's provocative
Will Ferrell's satirization of NASCAR racing culture is by far his best within
the "sports comedy" genre -- if that's a thing.
I got a message for all of them, ready?
Shake and bake.
What does that do?
Does that blow your mind?
That just happened!

Dasha Fuentes Talks WWE, UCF & Orlando - Duration: 2:30.
My name is Dasha Fuentes. I graduated
from UCF with a bachelors of science
in Health Sciences in 2012.
I always wanted to have a profession
where, um, I could help people out
and I love being physically fit and active
and that kind of helped tie into
everything that I do with WWE
and wrestling
On scene: We are here in Glasgow, Scotland
where Smackdown Live is about to kick off.
Dasha: I always wanted to be a positive
role model and find a job where
I could be intelligent, I could speak
in front of people. I wanted to work
for a company where they're
philanthropists and they are constantly involved in the community, promoting
education, and physical fitness and
well being.
[music]
So, Wrestlemania in Orlando is a huge
deal to me because it's the second time
that Wrestlemania is coming to Orlando
and I just can't wait for the world
because we get so many different fans
from all over the world to come
over to Orlando and they can see
everything that we have to offer.
Announcer 1: Nice block.
Announcer 2: And a belly to belly.
Just like that.
[music]
Dasha: I actually grew up right off of
University Boulevard
and it was pretty cool because there was
absolutley nothing there so growing up my
my parents didn't really graduate college
so I always saw UCF right down the road
at the end of University and I always
told myself that I wanted to go there.
I had my eyes set on going to UCF
and so when I finally got accepted,
that was like,
the most amazing thing ever.
My mom, she..
said the one thing you have to do is
get your education.
It's your ticket out. I mean,
we didn't have a lot of money
growing up so she always just
always emphasized education was key.
The community of UCF and the community of
Orlando is, is something that is a bond
that can't be explained and
to be a Knight, is..
to be there forever, it's to be valiant,
it's to be able to charge on, to charge
forward, to give back to your community
and that's something that I truly love.
Every time I go back to UCF, there's
always something new, there's always
a new technology, the people are always
excited to be there and that's..
I grew up with my family being very
strong and I feel like the community of
UCF is very strong and getting stronger as the years go on so, for me, that's
what makes me proud to be a Knight.

2017 Mazda CX-5 Review | Australian Launch - Duration: 3:04.
The Mazda CX-5 needs no introduction.
It accounts for a quarter of all Mazda sales globally and has been Australia's top-selling
SUV since 2013.
Chances are you know someone that owns one of these things.
Now comes the second generation with an all-new body which looks a lot like the bigger CX-9,
a 50% new platform, revised engines, new interior, more technology, more safety across the board.
Only time will tell whether that's enough to keep it ahead of the pack, but for now,
let's see how it drives.
So, look beyond the mini CX-9 styling and what you'll find is a dramatically improved
CX-5 on the inside.
It's vastly more quiet than before.
Engine, tire noise, wind noise… they were really the only issues with the previous CX-5
and this one improves that in every area, but quietness isn't the only improvement
here.
CX-5 has always been about the right size, good luggage space, good headroom, good legroom…
what has changed is the fit and finish and the quality.
This might be the top-spec Akira [? 00:01:17] here, but the attention to detail, the quality
of finish… it really is outstanding.
The design, the materials… everything is soft to touch.
The infotainment system is completely intuitive.
Dynamically as well the CX-5 was always at the top of its class.
This car is based on a second-generation SkyActiv platform, so it's not only quieter and stiffer.
The suspension is better resolved.
It rides and handles better than before, which is saying quite something because the old
CX-5 steered well.
The engines are pretty much carryover in this car, but that's no bad thing.
Plenty of torque from down low, revs freely to 5,000 revs… the six-speed automatic transmission
is not geared too heavily toward economy as it was before.
So, the second-generation CX-5 is not all new, but it does address the only complaints
we had with the original CX-5.
It's vastly quieter and it has got more technology, but it still is fun to drive.
It has got a bigger boot, more safety across the range, but it's still amongst the most
efficient.
Aussies love their SUVs and with this many bases covered they're going to love the
new CX-5.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke Border wall might have to be in Mexico
By JOEL GEHRKE
President Trump's long-promised southwest border wall shouldn't be built on the American
side of the line, according to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.
"The border is complicated, as far as building a physical wall," Zinke told the Public Lands
Council, according to E&E News.
"The Rio Grande, what side of the river are you going to put the wall?
We're not going to put it on our side and cede the river to Mexico.
And we're probably not going to put it in the middle of the river."
Zinke's comments highlight one of the practical difficulties that deterred construction of
the border fence that Congress authorized in 2006, particularly the problem of leaving
land owned by U.S. citizens on the far side of the wall.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wasted no time in highlighting his comments to buttress
their case against the wall.
"These guys ... now the wall is going to be IN Mexico," Schumer spokesman Matt House tweeted.
Executive Director of American Oversight Austin Evers said that building a wall on Mexican
land "raises a host of legal, procurement and long-term issues," adding that Zinke had
made a compelling argument against building it at all.
"Even if Secretary Zinke is incorrect, he does raise a very serious point: Does President
Trump plan to cede the Rio Grande River a vital source of water for residents and the
agriculture industry to Mexico?"
Evers said in a statement.
"As the president discovered with health reform, this issue also is 'complicated.'
Americans need clear answers to these difficult problems before billions of our tax dollars
are spent."
