Recently the developer of Outlast 2 issued a statement in which they confirm that there
will be only one version of the game available worldwide.
This left us with the question of whether Red Barrels had censored all versions of the
game.
Speaking to Kotaku Australia, the Australian classification board explained that they had
received a modified version of the game for it to recive it's R18 rating.
As we have previously covered, the title was originally refused a rating in Australia due
to scenes involving "sexual violence", hence the confusion.
Well, in a statement to IGN, Red Barrels have attempted to clarify the confusion.
They write that, "The original submission of Outlast 2 sent to the Australian Classification
Branch contained the final game code and a video file for reference taken from an Alpha
version of the game.
This video file should not have been sent along with the game code, as its content was
not representative of the final game.
In the second submission, the same game code was submitted with a video file reflecting
the final game content.
The game was then approved for release with an R18+ rating."
So this gameplay video from the alpha version of the game seems to be what got the game
banned in Australia in the first place.
In a previous video, Censored Gaming had read a detailed description of the scene that was
the main contribution to its ban.
The scene contained implied sexual assault, which is deemed not suitable for the R18+
rating by the Australian classification board.
So has this scene been completely removed from the final game or has it been altered
in some way?
There are many possibilities here and Censored Gaming can only speculate until further information
is either provided by Red Barrels or until the game finally releases April 25th.
At any rate, Red Barrels stresses again that "there will be only one version of Outlast
2 available worldwide".

Korean cosmetics companies branch out beyond China - Duration: 4:33.
Korea's cosmetics companies knew they were in for a dry spell as Beijing continues its
economic retaliaton against Seoul.
Some in the industry are already adapting well... by finding ways to diversify their
product lines and moving further into the global market.
Lee Unshin shows how some of these companies created opportunities when faced with daunting
odds.
The shopping district of Myeong-dong is one of the most famous tourist spots in Seoul
and not so long ago... it was almost always packed.
These days, though, the streets aren't as crowded.
"With all these cosmetic shops here, the area was especially popular with Chinese tourists...
and store clerks standing outside would say hi or introduce their products in Chinese,
no matter who was passing by.
But that's no longer the case either."
The number of Chinese visitors in the nation has dropped sharply over the past few months,
following Beijing's unofficial economic retaliatory measures against Seoul for its deployment
of the THAAD missile defense system.
And because China is the primary importer of Korean beauty items...the industry is concerned,
that other potential retaliatory measures from Beijing could have a serious impact on
cosmetic exports in the long run.
"Korea has long been dependent on China for exports.
But with the recent events, we don't know how long we can maintain the China sales figures.
That's why instead of depending solely on just one market, it's important for Korea
to broaden and explore its overseas market potential."
One Korean cosmetics company has already made inroads into markets overseas.
Meet the early bird -a cosmetics firm that makes beauty products specifically targeting
clients in the Middle East.
Their makeup line was given halal certification, meaning it only uses ingredients that are
permissible under Islamic law.
"I built this line after realizing there was a lack of makeup products that meet the high
standards according to Islamic law.
It requires that goods be free of animal products, certain chemicals or dyes.
But when we developed the products, the result was cosmetics with no unwholesome ingredients
or chemicals, so now, our products are in demand globally."
But he isn't the only pioneer.
This cosmetics distributor also saw market potential outside China... ahead of its competitors.
The company has over 130 Korean cosmetic brands going out to more than 40 countries in regions
like Southeast Asia, Europe and the U.S.
And because different products are popular in different regions, the distributor says
that with the right marketing strategies... there's practically no limit to the Korean
cosmetics industry's growth.
"Skincare products are in high demand in Southeast Asia.
Makeup in vibrant colors is popular in Japan."
It was the company's keen eye for market trends that led it to broaden its horizons beyond
China.
They recognized Korean cosmetics hadn't yet peaked in China... and decided to start marketing
their products around the world before it happened.
"We have a branch in the U.S. and we have individual partnerships with each country
in the Southeast Asian region to localize our marketing strategy.
For global marketing, our main focus lies in utilizing mobile advertising, social media
and Google's search platform."
Industry experts agree the Chinese market is still valuable, but with the potential
for robust sales all over the world, they ask: 'why not explore all markets?'
"Korean cosmetics makers used to import their base ingredients, but now they're producing
makeup with homegrown ingredients and unique designs.
Demand for these original Korean cosmetics is now very high, especially in populous countries
like Japan, the U.S. and India."
To meet the soaring demand, the experts suggest that quality improvements and exceptional
marketing tactics are crucial ingredients for global success.
As some of the first comers in the field have proven, diversifying your market options is
the only way to be successful in the global business arena.
Companies seeking to follow with made-in-Korea products that go beyond beauty... may just
want to take note.

Hi, my name is Cyree Jarelle Johnson,
and I am one of the poetry editors
for Deaf Poets Society.
And this is my
crip futurism pep talk.
So, I'm not big on space—
I have always felt more terrestrial—
so I can't say a lot about going to space
But what I can say is that
as someone with lupus
I have been on chemotherapy
and drugs for years
and what I want to think is that
maybe, if a nuclear bomb drops
I would be like immune
or something
because of all the unique chemicals
running through my bloodstream.
It's an untested theory,
but that's sort of where I'm at with that.
As far as being in space,
I have to hope that
with an autism spectrum disorder
I would be better able to communicate with aliens
having always felt like an alien
on Earth.
Um, I don't know about physical differences,
because I spend a lot of time hoping that
there isn't some sort of eugenicist arc.
"Let's send all the people like us to space,"
and then leaves us [disabled people] there [on Earth].
But, um,
yeah,
that's—those are my thoughts.

William Keenan before a market update event
He is just going to talk about a couple of the stocks and changes you have made to the core portfolio.
In your core portfolio, Brambles is an interesting stock that has come off somewhat in the medium term.
What are your thoughts there?
Brambles has been affected by a bit of a slowdown in the US - which was a bit of a surprise to us.
There is also management transition going on at the moment with CEO's transitioning.
Stocks are quality stocks and it's got a very strong position globally in Europe and the US and in Asia
There is nothing really wrong with the stock in terms of its positioning in other countries and its balance sheet is just as strong.
So, really they just got to sort out the US situation,
The stock that has come down a fair way - over 20% in the last few months
I think its basically too cheap now, it's trading on about 8.5 x EBITDA which is pretty cheap for a global leader like Brambles.
Our fair value is around $10.33 and we think it will come back up to the $10 level
We'll probably reduce the weight a little from 7.5% to 5% but likely to hold it from there.
We've done a lot of work with the new CEO, we think he's the real deal.
We're looking for the next update from the CEO in terms of strategy and outlook
to get a bit more confidence around the stock
but we do think it's a good opportunity to pick up a good quality stock
Telstra is another topical stock that you've moved from the core portfolio.
What are your thoughts behind that?
Telstra, unfortunately, despite the strong yield, core earnings are in decline.
The NBN payments being received from the Government are propping up the earnings and keeping them flat.
By 2022, those NBN payments will cease.
The company's EBITDA, which is currently around $10 billion, will fall by $2-$3 billion.
It's a fair gap.
Telstra basically have 5-6 years to fill that gap.
They're running flat out just trying to get their earnings flat
It's not the ideal growth stock and we've taken it out of our growth portfolio.
In terms of the income portfolio, we are also thinking of taking out there.
The income is very good, no doubt
but without a growth rate, the valuation is really hurt.
Our valuation falls to $4.33 and it does seem to be drifting down to that level.
It will probably hold at that level.
But it's capital growth is at risk at the moment
and competition is likely to increase.
Competitors such as Optus, TPG and Focus have now all consolidated the market
and they're all looking to compete more in the mobile and cable territory
making it hard for Telstra to increase its prices.
We're a bit wary on the Telstra story
In fact, the whole telco sector is looking very competitive
and we don't have any exposures to any telcos anymore.

As mentioned, Park Geun-hye's hearing will begin in just over three hours from now.
She'll be making her way from her private residence in Samseong-dong in southern Seoul.
We are now going to connect live to our Kwon Jang-ho, who is there for us.
Jang ho, the area must be bustling with supporters of the former leader,... any activity so far?
Good morning Ji-hye.
The sun has just come up and the day is just starting but there's already been a lot of
hustle and bustle here.
Behind me is the front gate to Park Geun-hye's private home, where the former president has
been living since she was impeached earlier this month.
Now despite her removal from office, she still has a small but die-hard support base in country
and there are several hundred of them here now who are making their voices heard.
They have been here since last night to show their support, and a small group have actually
been here day-and-night since Monday, after state prosecutors requested the arrest warrant.
There are also a couple of hundred police officers here who have been keeping the very
passionate supporters at bay, especially from the press, who the supporters partly blame
for Park's downfall.
But it has mostly been orderly and we don't expect much trouble here.
For our viewers who have been following this story carefully, we saw very similar scenes
last week, on the day Park appeared before state prosecutors for questioning.
Tell us Jang-ho... have we spotted any activity from inside the house?
And what time are we expecting Park to emerge?
The court hearing is at 10:30 AM and so we expect her to come out and make her way to
the Seoul Central District Court around 15 minutes before that.
As you mentioned, we sort of know what to expect because it will be similar to what
we saw last week.
Last time her motorcade, flanked by security vehicles and police motorbikes,... took about
ten minutes to get to the prosecutors' office, and we expect a similar sequence of events
today as well.
Her lawyers will pick her up here of course,... she has been meeting with them almost every
day for the last couple of weeks.
If her arrest warrant is approved, it could be the last time she is home for a long time.
