Youtube daily report Aug 22 2017

Subtitles by Carlos Álvarez V. for MayaTubers ^_^

Welcome MayaTubers to another tutorial with me! I´m Carlos Álvarez Velázquez

and today's tutorial is about How Rendering and Lighting a 3D Architectural Mockup

but this visual style is not only useful for mockups, but also...

for animation of Logos, postproduction or.. for Video Games *^_^*

what your imagination wants !! but...

Today I will explain it focused on the 3D mockups

I post all the public comments that have asked me for this tutorial

I have more comments and messages but all are privately, if you want to leave in the video do it publicly in comments

Well, at first I have a different visual style but not long ago I saw a tutorial of:

I put it down here and it's from TutoRKit3D

and I liked his visual style for mockups, but he does it with 3DsMax and I do it with Autodesk Maya

It's a big difference hehe =D

So I will do it this way that is very good, I'll remove the comments from here!

and I put here the final result :D

this is very cool *^_^*

This you are seeing will be the final result of the tutorial

Important: Let's work in a strict linear with a Linear Workflow way until post production

because the post production you don´t with VRay Frame Buffer but yes you do will it with Photoshop

with a plugins of the Randol Control for Tone Mapping

for be able to treat and edit 32-bit images

Then we will pass the images to 16 bits and we can treat them in a nomal way with Photoshop

I remove it !!

and remember that is very important the tutorial of today! Where you will learn new techniques for your renders! :D

I see you in the tutorial goodbye!!

Welcome back MayaTubers to a new tutorial that promises a lot for the world of Architecture

or the mockups or video games !! I recommend you to be attentive to the tutorial

before beginning I put you examples of real mockups that we are going to imitate with the virtual mockup

Open Maya

the tutorial is divided into two parts, 1st Maya + VRay and the 2nd Post Porduction with Photoshop

the second part if it was a video would be same but with After Effects ok?and the image we will do with Photoshop

...

the first steps I skip them because they are already explained in other tutorials in my channel but

I will go putting in the upper right corner links of the necessary tutorials

I recommend you stop the video and copy the info what you do not know how to do

in the tutorial I basically use 2 Basic VRay Materials like Base and Crystal

in this case all the materials are dielectrics

Copy the material Base in VRay of the whole mockup, the background or Cyclogram would be equal but darker in the color

and the Crystal for the Windows ! Copy it as it is and also copies the Refraction

and...

I show you the configuration of the Camera that is very simple

remember that with the camera selected go to in Attributes > VRay > Physical Camera

scroll down and where you see Extra VRay Attributes, deployment and activate it

Copy or modify for your scene the F-Number, Shutter Speed and ISO to play with the lighting

I recommend that this step do it together with the main lights that are explained later

There you change the parameters of the physical camera of Vray better, okay?

and lastly I show you fast is the configuration of the render setting of VRay

Copy everything exactly the same *^_^*

Copy everything exactly the same and remember that in VRay 3.10 = Adaptative and in VRay +3.30 = Buckets

Color Mapping is one of the most important parts of the tutorial to work with a 32-bit linear flow

Select and copy exactly the same as the Linear Multiply

and finally activate the box of Linear workflow

Copy it all the same to make sure we get images with 32 bits per channel as per pixel

and we will get images with a lot more information similar to the HDR Images

Copy all the same in the GI = Global Illumination - Brute Force under with 64 subs because I'm going to use Denoiser

If you fancy you can activate and play with the A. Occlusion and please copy the same info for the Light Cache

In the section of memory limit you uses the configuration of your computer I recommend the limit to 0

and then at the end of the first part we went deeper into rendering elements that it will see it with more time

START the Tutorial at 5:40 mins of the video, Let's create the most important, the Main Lights Ok?

for this we leave the RenderCam and go to Perspective

...

I have prepared the positions of the lights to save time in the length of the video that is already long

we deactivate visualization of the polygons

these lights are off and then I'll explain later about that :D

but to create the main lights I have some Nulls that I need to activate them. I go to the channel box

we create a rectangular light of Vray

we scaled the lights from the Vray attributes and not with the scalar tool

we could move the light ... but ... if we press T = Target

we have the option to be able to orient it with 2 points, activate the magnet to the vertex

and oriented with the two nulls as in the video to get a perfect position for my mockup

for your mockup will be another orientation, advice to align the lights: always in angles and multiples of 45º

This is going to be the Main Light = Luz Principal

this is the Fill Light = Luz de Relleno

and this the Light Top or

Front we can call it even if it is not in front but we will call it Front Light = Luz Frontal

The size of the Main Light put U = 100 and in V = 75 because my mockup is very giant

...

the Sampler we leave it in 32, if it does not let edit you return to the section of the configuration of the GI in DCM Sampler

repeat the Operation exactly the same as the Fill Light

ahh I forgot to change the names the Lights but is not mandatory

and the size of the Fill Light at U = 100 and at V = 30

Better with rectangular shape so that less reflected light

we repeat the same with a new light, The Front light but without the Target just we move it

i forget to give it 32 subdivisions in the Fill Light to eliminate a bit more noise in the render

and in the front light also 32 subs

the size of the front light will be square in U and V = 100

and with J + Rotate we rotate it 90º downwards to point at the mockup

very good !! Now let's config each light one by one we go to the RenderCam

before we will turn on visualization of polygons to see everything correctly

now yes i go to RenderCam

and we are going to launch a series of renders

we will leave it in Light Cache which is preview fairly good and fast

This is a decent render for a mockup if you're new to this, it's a very good result

but we will improve it as we advance in the tutorial hehe

It's true... that... for see it.. if it let me remove this .. that...

this would be the current end result that we will get in 32 bits

well this would be the image obtained with the linear workflow

and if we activate the curves we change it so that it is not linear

then if we activate the post-production of the VRay Frame Buffer, (VFB), and activate everything like in the video

we generate a small preview of what I want to get at the end of this tutorial

but this is not going to be the actual final result

but that we will do later in post production with photoshop but with VFB so we have a preview

this time we are not going to stay with the direct post production of the VRay frame buffer hehe

and so we enter fully into a linear workflow with VRay

we will continue to advance in the tutorial

we open the editor of lights of VRay and we are going to turn off all the lights and we just click on the Main Light

We launch a single Render in just Light Cache

You can observe the Main Light = LuzPrincipal

It's a very interesting light and I like it

but this one has a lot of intensity

generating very dark shadows and intense whites creating a lot of contrasts

then we are going to lower the intensity to 16

we make a render again to see the differences

much better looks the same but with less contrast

Perfect is already finished

now turn off the main light and turn on the front panel to set it

Has to have very little contribution of light will have to lower its intensity

Uff yes it comes out very burnt you have to lower much the intensity

I lowed the intensity to 3.5 and threw another render

much better gives a perfect contribution from up

...

Good!! Now is the turn to Fill Light

but first a tip: you can set the 3 lights at the same time by changing the color of each one

but opposite colors or with bright colors as yellow, green and blue and you can see its range of influence

I make a render again

I love this kind of lighting! You have to lower the intensity enough but this is already to personal taste

with this light would look good do not need others lights, but let's do it of the type studio photography lights

I leave a tutorial on the basic principles of photography studio lighting in Maya and VRay

we changed the intensity to Fill Light to 5

Mmm yes with 5 its okay

Ohh, I like it !! Is a fill light as such !! We already have a main light

Perfects

Now let's do the render but with the 3 lights together

I like the rest of the lights! Remember that you can play to your taste does not have to be the same

...

Continued with the tutorial hehe

I´m Working in the subtitles in 24 hours are finally finish - Thanks - SUBSCRIBE ^_^

Thiago and Martinez back in team training - Duration: 1:41.

The next step must be to develop top players

from our youth teams who can one day keep up with

the first team players of Bayern Munich.

Yesterday the FC Bayern Campus was officially inaugurated in close proximity to the Allianz Arena.

This is where Bayern Munich is determined to develop more youth talents

into professional top football players than in the past years.

The campus is our way of hopefully laying a foundation so that

we don't have to do what others are doing

on the transfer market at the moment.

That would be the ideal scenario.

The FC Bayern Campus is all about the future of Germany's biggest and most successful football club.

Munich's Säbener Street is still all about the present and today there was very good news

to report from Bayern's training facilities as several recently injured players were able to

return to team training.

Manuel Neuer, for instance was able to participate

in the full team training session today

and the same goes for Javier Martinez and Thiago who not only proved to be fit

and capable but also showed impressive training performances.

Both Spaniards merely left out the final full-contact training match towards the end of the session.

While a few players like Jerome Boateng who worked individually again today,

still can't fully train with Carlo Ancelotti's team,

most players are slowly but surely able to return to regular professional team training

and that is very good news for the present of FC Bayern Munich.

clear example of them are the pichiciegos being one of these animals along with many

greater effort to let people know this mammal and start taking in

the pichiciegos are endemic only in the central region of Argentina, in thickets

Climbing and Zip Lining at Go Ape Delaware - Outdoor Adventure with Robbie Backpacking - Duration: 3:24.

(exhales loudly) Okay...

(zipline)

Yeah babyyyyy!

Woooooo!

(zipline)

Ahhh man, that was awesome haha.

Woo!

Alright I'm going to get out of here.

(exhales) I didn't think I was going to land that one haha.

Hey YouTube, I'm Robbie Frank and today I'm getting my Tarzan on here at Go Ape in Delaware.

If you don't know Go Ape is a outdoor obstacle course where you use all sorts of carabiners

to do some ziplining, and today is going to be a lot of fun. So stay tuned.

Kathee: Hehe.

I made him go the harder route.

He could have gone the easier route but I forced him to go on the hard route.

Because it's more fun.

Robbie: So I just finished stage 3 of Go Ape here in Delaware.

I'm working up a little bit of a sweat, I took the advanced course on stage 3.

You have the option of going either on an easier course or a harder course, so I took the harder one.

Safety is a big concern.

We have these different colored carabiners, so these are always going to be clipped in.

We have blue which matches up with our blue zip line here.

Red which is our safety.

Broady: Ready to go.

I start, I'm going, I'm going, and I suddenly realize that I'm petrified, so terrified of heights.

Well, everything is going to be okay. What you're not going to want to do is look down.

That has never helped anybody in the history of fear heights.

What you can do is focus on that next platform, or some of the folks you're with will help you out a lot.

If you guys need to take a break when you're in the tree today or you loose your footing,

this is all you got to do: you're going to be sitting in your harness.

It's going to be really nice, you can give those arms a little break, shake them out a little bit.

And also you can pull yourself up from that next crossing using whatever you need to.

So once you're attached to that crossing, anything goes as far as getting to that next platform.

Robbie: And for the Tarzan swing there's even a green hook that you use to swing.

You get to go over the lake and it's been a lot of fun.

(Adventure music plays)

Okay.

Okay guys, see you on the other side.

(ziplining)

(clapping)

I hope you enjoyed my video on Go Ape Delaware.

If you did, you can do me a huge favor and click the LIKE and SUBSCRIBE buttons.

Also, if you click the bell you can stay up to date on all my new content.

#VLOG 07 - CANOEING AMONGST GIANTS - Duration: 9:17.

So we are in a canoe in the middle of Algonquin Park.

And we just saw a moose, eating, at the sunrise.

It was amazing.

And quite impressive because a moose is pretty big.

Here we are doing a 3 days canoe-camping trip

with another family and a guide.

So it's really nice.

And right before we stopped by a small city called Gravenhurst

where there is the oldest steamboat in North America

still in activity.

So it was also wonderful there.

A really nice place, very peaceful.

But I'll let you discover it in pictures.

So we really liked Gravenhurst.

And here we are really impressed too!

Because canoeing and wild camping

is a really nice way to explore the park.

Which is gorgeous.

So we are going to keep discovering the park.

And I am trying not to speak too loudly

so we might see other mooses. We'll see.

So we just got back from our canoe trip.

And Sam and I had an amazing time.

It was awesome.

Our guide and the family were super nice!

And the family lives in Oregon so it would be nice to see them again

because it will be on our way. So we'll see.

And what really amazed us during this trip

is that we were alone for three days

while it's high season.

And Algonquin Park is a very touristic place.

Actually there is one road that crosses the Park in the south.

And the entrances to the lakes are very crowded there.

But we decided to go up north and to do this with Voyageur Quest.

It was a guided trip so it allowed us to be alone.

It was so nice.

And also we were lucky with the weather

because we had sunny days all the time.

For that matter we can see big clouds coming

so it might start to rain.

So it was a perfect trip. Nothing to improve.

For what's coming up we'll head West.

Towards Superior Lake.

More lakes again but we'll have to get used to it because it's Canda!

So vanlife is not about sunset

and sun everyday to enjoy nature and outdoors.

Sometimes it rains all day long.

Like today. It's a good example.

So we wanted to show the inside of our van. The today setup.

So we unfold the bed.

Like that.

We set up a nice home cinema with a nice speaker

to watch a movie. I don't know which one yet.

But I know I'll prepare pop-corns.

And we'll bother Sam to know which movie we are going to watch.

But first what are you reading Sam?

- Sorry?

What are you reading?

- I'm reading an article about wolves reintroduction in the Yellow Stone Park.

Interesting! And what magazine is that?

- It's the BESIDE magazine.

- It's a Canadian magazine and it's really interesting.

- And I would like everybody to think about this sentence.

This sentence ?

Waiting for the focus ...

Which is not coming.

Aha.

Ah there we go.

Ok! Let's meditate about that.

And what will we be watching?

- What movie?

- I wanted to watch "Easy Rider". Sounds good?

Yes, what is it about?

- It's about two guys who are doing a road trip.

- Across the USA.

- And by bikes.

Ok cool that sounds good!

I'll get the popcorns ready. Let's go!

So we just picked up our first hitchhiker on the road!

Her name is Ary, she is 22.

And she's been traveling for a year now across Canada

with her dog named Skully who seems really nice.

So it's quite sensitive to take the camera out

when you first meet someone.

And here we can feel that she doesn't really like to be filmed

so we won't bother her with that.

She went for a walk with her dog.

But right behind me there is her tent. All set up.

Here is the place we'll stay the night.

She is hitchhiking and she sleeps every night in her tent.

So it's a different way of living and traveling than us.

But she seems really nice.

So we are excited to get to know her more.

Besides that it has been a long day of driving for us.

We drove from this morning until now.

Sam must be exhausted.

Let's take a look.

Indeed he's sleeping.

So we'll sleep here tonight and hit the road tomorrow

still towards Western Canada.

Apparently there are still a lot to see.

Like canyons and trails.

So it would be nice if we can go part of the way with Ary.

So here we are at the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.

"Sleeping Giant" because we are standing on a mountain

with the shape of a sleeping giant.

And we are hiking a 25 km trail

which is really beautiful.

We just hit the summit.

We have a really nice view of the Superior Lake

with the very steep cliffs.

So better not to be dizzy.

It's really nice because we are still with Ary and her dog Skully

and it's nice to hike with other people.

It makes us want a dog later.

Maybe one day.

We are at the very western point in Ontario.

And after that we'll cross the center of Canada.

So we don't really know what's out there.

But we'll see.

See you in the next Vlog!

How Lighting Architectonic Mockup in Maya and VRay Render Elements y PostProduction MayaTubers - Duration: 36:01.

I´m Working in the subtitles in 24 hours are finally finish - Thanks - SUBSCRIBE ^_^

certain animals often overlooked, this lack of dissemination of

clear example of them are the pichiciegos being one of these animals along with many

others include a long list in the field of unfamiliar animals, but

greater effort to let people know this mammal and start taking in

the pichiciegos are endemic only in the central region of Argentina, in thickets

I CRASHED MY MOTORCYCLE - SUZUKI GIXXER DOWN - Duration: 1:35.

Read this before you comment something negative. I agree this was my error / mistake completely. I was a bit tired due to riding in the rain and wasn't being careful as I should have been, realized the bikes slowed down when it was too late. Got minor bruises which was expected with the choice of my shoes but my hands etc are fine. The shock of crashing was worst and I thank my friends and fellow bikers who stopped and helped me calm down. Post crash I rode over 85 km back home as we couldn't find any mechanic or garage it being a national holiday that day. Lesson learnt. Please share this video with your friends. Wet road, Panic braking and absence of ABS in my Suzuki Gixxer was a major contributing factor.

Custom Specialized S-Works Demo - Bike Check Fabio Wibmer 2017 - Duration: 7:44.

Hello guys

it's me Fabio and today you'll see the ultimative bike check

of my new custom painted Specialized S-Works demo

A lot of you guys have already seen it! Also in the lates Sick series episode in Saalbach

It was finally time to reveal it

and to show you the parts which I'm riding etc.

I don't want to talk any longer! Go!

Here is the beautiful thing

Specialized S-Works Demo

custom painted

The design was made by Specialized in cooperation with Riesel Design

I think it looks awesome! Also with the magura yellow which fits perfectly to the brakes

and I just really like it

Escpecially the purple is something very special

At this point I'd say let's just start

Frame is the Specialized S-Works Demo made of carbon

I'm riding the Demo now for a long time and I have to say that the geometry and everything is amazing

Let's start with the parts

Wheels are from hopetech

The are build up with Hope Pro Evo 4 hubs

and 27,5" hoptech rim

Tires are the Continental 27,5" "Baron" tires

and I'm riding with Contintental tubes

pretty good grip. I'm riding them in most of the races and during all the other things which I do on this bike

most of the time I'm riding this tire or the "Der Kaiser" tire

currently the Baron

Suspension

In the rear I'm riding the FOX DHX2 damper with a 500 spring

I weigh around 75-80kg with protection and the spring is pretty good for that.

It's slightly stiffer

but I personally really like it to ride the suspension stiffer

I just feel the bike better

And that's why I'm riding the rebound pretty fast

So the bike has a fast rebound and it can handle all the bumps

Compression is more closed

So this makes it also stiffer

Just because I feel the bike better when it's stiffer

It's probably because I'm used to my trials bike

I have no suspension on the trials bike and it's super stiff

and that's why it feels more comfortable when it's stiff

In general a pretty tough setup

In the front I'm riding the Fox 40

Looks super awesome

it also has a kashima coat

just works perfectly

then, what's next

cranks are from hopetech

the have a length of 170mm, the sprocket is also from hope

in purple colour to match the bike

bottom bracket is from Sram

Cranbrothers Stamp pedals in Large

you have a nice big pedal to stand on

I really love flats and I don't ride klicks and that's why I really like these "big" pedals

you can screw the pins out to get even more grip and to not slide out on them

Chain guide is from BPP

I think it looks sick

Especially with the camouflage on it

the details which I really like

Brakes are as always the Magura MT7 Raceline brakes in lovely yellow

Super sick brakes. I'm riding the HC3 lever

they are doing an amazing job

Storm HC discs 203mm

Brake pads are the Performance pads

the "race" are slightly to aggressive and the "comfort" are slightly to less aggressive

and that's why I really like these

FSA headset

Stem is from Specialized

This is the Specialized Downhill Carbon handlebar with a rise of 38mm and a width of 780mm

really cool for downhill riding

so the front end is slightly higher which feels very comfortable for me and a little bit like a trials bike

Grips are the Specialized Sip grips

I think these are the girls grips because they are thinner

I don't really like thick grips and that's why I really like these grips

Shifting system is from Sram, 7speed

with a Hope cassette

looks nice

the small sprockets are also from Hope

waht else

Seat post is from Thomson

Seat is from Specialized

and hopetech seat clamp

in lovely purple

I'm riding a tire pressure around 2,2 bar - 2,3 bar

sometimes more, it depends on the track

Yeah, I think we're pretty much done

and i think I said everything which you should know

it's more like my photo and video bike

the setup is also more for jumps and for having fun rather than for racing

Flips work very well on this bike as you've seen in Saalbach

feels very awesome and i think it looks so sick

Big thanks to Specialized who made this for me and suprised me

The definitely did a very very good job

Guys

I think that's it from the bike check

I hope you liked it

By the way this t-shirt is now available in the online shop

Thanks for watching

Stay sick and until next time! Ciao!

The Benefits of Kundalini Meditation: 10 Minutes to Peace, Clarity, and Focus - Duration: 6:21.

The Benefits of Kundalini Meditation: 10 Minutes to Peace, Clarity, and Focus

Do you feel overwhelmed at times?

Or slightly lost?

Do you struggle with anger, anxiety, or low self-esteem?

Are you left with a mind that doesn't seem to want to slow down?

If the answer is yes, rest assured that you are not the only one.

There are many who feel the same way.

Overwhelming, worrisome thoughts and feelings would arise, and you wouldn't know what

to do with them.

You may be very critical of you at this time.

You feel frustrated, stressed, and often, very low, with fear constantly knocking at

the door.

You start wondering, "Am I the only one feeling like this?

Why do I feel this way?

What's going on?"

Society had taught us that once you achieved what you wanted, you would be eternally happy.

But you meet people who had achieved their goals and amassed great wealth, and were still

hugely stressed and unhappy.

How could this be?

Books don't help you.

You need to take a step back and stop being busy.

Put your priorities straight.

Feeling sorry for yourself isn't the right path; that happiness is actually closer than

you may have thought.

Being your journey of consciousness...

An Inner Win to a Greater Outer Win

You can overcome your negative thoughts and feelings and deal with all of your challenges

with a greater understanding and a sense of ease.

The secret is that first we must feel centered within (our thoughts, feelings, and emotions),

and then we can move to what our outer purpose is.

This enables us to deal with challenges from a place of inner calm.

If the mind and body are working together, we have a much greater chance of knowing what

we want and how to face it, rather than constantly trying to fill the void within with external

gratification.

You deserve to live an amazing life.

You deserve to be inspired.

You deserve to be free and to live a life on your terms.

And you can do all these things.

Transformation starts with ourselves, so in order for us to move into a happier state

of being, we first need to be kind to ourselves, and to have a little bit of discipline and

the willingness to awaken our greatest selves.

Now what if I told you that you don't even have to go into the angry thought?

You can simply watch it and let it play, like you would at the cinema or the theater.

You simply see it, with little judgment, and let it pass.

The seeing of the thought is the beginning of liberation.

This is one of the first major steps toward a healthier, happier mind.

By simply seeing the thought, we begin to disassociate with it, leaving space for it

to pass while we continue with our day.

Simplified Kundalini Meditation helps in the day-to-day seeing of the mind, called "awareness".

It increases your mindfulness, we see our thoughts and let them come and go like scenes

in a show.

By simply seeing the thought, we are then left with a choice: to let it go or hold onto

it.

We then need to ask ourselves, do I want to react angrily, or do I want to let it go and

deal with the situation constructively?

Meditation is training for situations like these.

This can simply be a ten-minute space in your day where you may sit, or a part of the day

where your attention is focused entirely on what you are doing.

Your brain easily moves into the Alpha level of calm state with SKY meditation.

SKY Meditation can add significant value to your life.

SKY Meditation can help to

Analyse your thoughts Develop positive thinking

Eliminate negativity

Moralise desires Achieve harmless dreams

Fulfill useful ambition

Neutralize anger Avoid anger

Prevent anger

Eradicate Worries Get rid of stress

Overcome fears

Realize Self Who am I?

SKY Meditation helps in many ways:

1.

It lowers your stress level and improves your focus and attention.

2.

It reduces worry, anxiety, and impulsivity.

3.

It increases empathy and helps you develop positive relationships.

4.

It can improve your information processing and decision-making skills.

5.

It increases positive emotions.

Dara Corrigan, U.S. FDA, on International Regulatory Convergence - Duration: 12:46.

Thank you for the invitation to be here today.

I am honored to represent the United States Food and Drug Administration and our new commissioner,

Dr. Scott Gottlieb.

As many of you may know, our new Commissioner arrived at the agency just five weeks ago

and we're learning about his vision and how we can help execute that vision.

It is also my pleasure to be on an international panel here and to talk about and reemphasize

our commitment to international collaboration.

I'll talk about that in a bit, but what I'd like to do now is set the stage

and describe to you what it has been like at FDA for the past five weeks and what we

can learn about the Commissioner's priorities.

Then, I'll briefly outline one of the successes that we have achieved since the new Administration

arrived at FDA.

That success is the finalization of the Mutual Recognition Agreement between the EU and U.S.

FDA with respect to GMP inspections for drug facilities.

Let me start by explaining what it has been like for the past five weeks.

I can tell you we have an active and innovative new Commissioner.

With the arrival of Commissioner Gottlieb has come fresh thinking and the possibility

of new and different types of collaborations that will lead us toward enhanced scientific

development and the use of the law.

If both converge, it will allow us to regulate more efficiently.

Commissioner Gottlieb's has laid out his domestic agenda and number one on that list

is to do everything the FDA can do to stem the opioid abuse epidemic in the United States.

I would add that we welcome the opportunity to speak to other regulators about a problem

that has been plaguing the United States for many years.

The Commissioner has already taken a step in his first five weeks to creatively

address the problem.

He recommended that a manufacturer take a particular opioid product off the market given

the high risk of abuse.

Based upon scientific evidence, he made this recommendation because the risk benefit analysis

for this particular drug has changed and the abuse potential has increased.

It's this type of new thinking and harnessing all of FDA's scientific and legal authorities

that, I believe, is a sign of things to come.

He has also set up a commission to think of new ways to confront opioid abuse.

The other example I will give from Commissioner Gottlieb's brief tenure is his emphasis

on drug pricing, which I know is an issue that affects all the regulators here and all

countries around the world.

Traditionally, FDA has not been seen as an active participant in the debate over drug

pricing.

However, Commissioner Gottlieb very early on, in testimony to the U.S. Congress and

in written notes to FDA staff, has stated that he wants the FDA to intervene because

he - and the Administration – views drug pricing as a high priority issue.

What he has talked about in the drug-pricing arena is the need for a certain number of

generics to be on the market so that competitive forces will result in a reduction of prices

to American consumers.

In addition, he is working to focus even more effectively on reducing the generic approval

backlog at the agency.

Moreover, he has said, on the innovator side, that it is critical to get better therapies

for the most serious diseases.

When we have innovative therapies, the overall cost of healthcare may be reduced.

I believe this high-energy approach to new and old problems will also be seen in his

approach to new technology.

Dr. Gottlieb has a background as a doctor, as a patient, and as a participant in both

public and private industry.

As such, he brings a vantage point to new technology that will hopefully be collaborative

with all of our partners to ensure an even more efficient and effective public health

future.

He has already developed guidance documents on how the FDA is going to begin thinking

about and regulating new technology – such as health apps and new combination products

- and we can expect him to take carefully considered actions after consulting with a

wide range of experts across the FDA and around the world.

I will also note that he is a very approachable Commissioner; you can see him on the FDA campus

having lunch in the cafeteria with employees, and he values input from a wide range of people.

Dr. Gottlieb has also spent time concentrating on strategies to reduce the number of counterfeit

drugs entering the US market, particularly those that are coming spiked with fentanyl,

which contributes to the opioid abuse epidemic.

He has talked to many people across the agency about how we can we deal with counterfeit

drugs, which is one that has plagued many countries around the world.

Now, while it is difficult to ascertain all of the future endeavours of Commissioner Gottlieb,

I know he is very focused on making regulatory work innovative.

Those of us involved in public health hear all the time about how inefficient we are

and how we stifle innovation.

Every FDA Commissioner tries very hard to battle that stereotype and Commissioner Gottlieb

will continue that battle.

However, I know that he expects our regulatory agencies to work hard in this area, and one

way of being innovative is to have an understanding of evolving technology.

What is needed at FDA and all of our regulatory agencies - and Commissioner Gottlieb has already

testified twice to the U.S. Congress about this regarding his 2018 budget plan - are

employees who are bright, creative, forward thinking, and intellectually honest.

These kinds of individuals will help the agency move into the future and as Dr. Gottlieb noted,

critical to that goal is maintaining an FDA budget that will ensure those types of people

remain in, and join, the agency.

As well in his Congressional testimony, Commissioner Gottlieb emphasized his innovation agenda.

In fact, just yesterday, he committed to reducing the orphan drug backlog in the next 90 days.

This is a significant commitment to innovation and to treating diseases that have not previously

had any treatment, and it underscores that we can expect this type of inspired action

going forward.

As I was walking around the DIA seminars yesterday, I was struck by the number of sessions that

focus on different ways to approach clinical data usage and clinical trial design, as well

as the use of real world data and real world evidence.

That is now a legal requirement in the United States that we begin to use and really harness

the power in real world evidence and in new and innovative clinical trial designs.

We will be doing that under our new legal authorities.

We now have a new legal mandate to engage with patients even more than we have in the

past.

We've followed very closely the efforts of other regulators to wade in and embrace

the idea of using patients to assist in driving scientific development and innovations.

I can assure you that FDA will remain committed to developing international standards that

benefit all of us globally.

We need to engage on issues like the ethical design of clinical trials and the protection

of human subjects.

We need to engage on obtaining high quality safety data and we need to continue our work

on quality manufacturing and GMPs.

As I have noted, during the last five weeks, Commissioner Gottlieb has begun to define

his domestic agenda and I think we can expect, in the weeks to come, more definition of his

international agenda.

He has emphasized to me twice his desire to expand his reach into international areas

in ways that complement his domestic goals.

As all of us on this panel and in the audience know, we all rise together through partnerships,

both scientifically and legally.

One of the best examples of this in recent months is the conclusion of negotiations for

the U.S. / European Union Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) that covers drug GMP inspections.

The MRA is a very significant achievement.

Indeed, the FDA has never implemented an agreement like this before.

The FDA and EU officials spent the last three years negotiating this agreement.

It is complex because there are 28 countries and 28 separate inspectorates in the European

Union.

Each needs to be independently assessed by the FDA.

We worked very diligently to create an assessment process that makes sense and that is efficient

- and one that will be easily defended at the end of the process.

We at FDA benefited from this sometimes painstaking but always valuable assessment process.

As I said yesterday to our Japanese colleagues: It really makes a difference to actually go

and spend time in other countries.

On that note, I had the benefit of leading the FDA Europe office for almost three years

and I can personally confirm that there isn't any better to truly understand a foreign culture

than by immersing yourself in it.

As part of the exercise of evaluating countries in the EU, officials from across the FDA have

visited - and will visit - every country in the EU.

Many of our people have never been to those countries before.

These visits are truly a way to breakdown stereotypes, to build partnerships, and to

understand how different regulatory systems work.

This is the central vision of the U.S. FDA: Bring together science, law, and regulations

- and harness those for the benefit of overall public health.

I know I speak for Commissioner Gottlieb when I say that we look forward to new collaborations,

strengthening old collaborations and moving forward into a new era at the U.S Food and

Drug Administration.

Thank you.

Arsenal fans urge Arsene Wenger to sign Mo Farah after Olympic hero shows off his impressive football skills

ARSENAL fans have hilariously urged Arsene Wenger to sign Mo Farah up after the Olympic hero showed off his impressive football skills.

The British running legend, 34, recently ran his final track race in the UK, but could he be tempted into a sensational career switch?. Mo Farah took part in Dugouts Touch Challenge on Tuesday morning.

The British Olympic hero put in an impressive performance in the test. Farah, who is a huge Gunners fan, took part in Dugouts Touch Challenge where balls are fired skywards at speeds of around 88mph.

The main aim for the four-time Olympic gold medallist was to control the ball as well as possible – and its fair to say he put on an impressive performance.

However, when asked whether he fancied teaming up with Premier League boys Arsenal, he quipped: No, Ill stick to running mate!.

Farah is now expected to swap track events for road running, targeting the New York, Boston, Berlin and London Marathons in the near future.

In an interview, Farah claimed: "In my mind, I want to forget about Mo. I want to go start fresh.. But heres what Twitter had to say on a potential switch to football….

Arsenal fans take to Twitter after seeing Mo Farah in action with a football.

Mo Farah attracted quite a following for his footballing prowess.

Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman & Designer - Duration: 2:05.

For me, it's a dream come true to do this exhibition.

The attempt is to widen the conversation about Michelangelo.

It's an extraordinary opportunity to see many works from 53 different museums and collections

that are never seen together, to see Michelangelo in many guises as he uses drawing as a language,

from his very quick sketches to the finished drawings

that come from the Royal Collection in Windsor.

Drawing is the first thing he uses to create a painting, to create a sculpture,

to create architecture.

It's what unifies his career.

Michelangelo is a very forceful draftsman.

When he draws he brings a sculptor's understanding and eye.

There is a roughness sometimes, because he wants to block out ideas.

This is a sculptor who left the majority of his sculptures unfinished.

We have three marble sculptures by Michelangelo in the exhibition.

We can see him thinking, almost having a conversation on the sheet of paper.

We see him inventing or just having fun—so, doodling.

There's a sense of intimacy, of immediacy, it's like

glimpsing over the shoulder of this genius.

The 500 years that separate us from Michelangelo melt away.

For the 3 months that the exhibition is up, we will all have the privilege of entering

his world and being so close to this absolute genius of the history of art.

Pink fairy armadillo | The mysterious of Argentina | (Animals of the World) | Special countries | - Duration: 6:31.

certain animals often overlooked, this lack of dissemination of

and the dangers they have in their risk of disappearing population and a

clear example of them are the pichiciegos being one of these animals along with many

others include a long list in the field of unfamiliar animals, but

encompass great virtues and special aparaciencia, so it is necessary

greater effort to let people know this mammal and start taking in

account along with other animals like the panda, tigers or blue whale.

the pichiciegos are endemic only in the central region of Argentina, in thickets

and deserts, in regions where rainfall is not as abundant in areas of good

aires, San Luis, La Pampa and San Juan in neotropical regions of this country to a

altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. although its appearance is very similar

the armadillo, this is because both are in the same family, cingulados,

Placental mammals that inhabit the American continent characterized by

submit one or more bony plates on the back to protect the skin.

the pichiciego is the smallest species of armadillo planet, reaching measure

9 to 13 cm long and weighing 120 grams, being small enough to fit

in the palm of an adult, where his most characteristic and its best weapon are

a front claws of enormous size, with small eyes and a breastplate that

How Lighting Architectonic Mockup in Maya and VRay Render Elements y PostProduction MayaTubers - Duration: 36:01.
