How to Treat a Sore Throat with 4 Natural Ingredients

Looking to treat as ore throat?

In addition to soothing the throat and relieving pain, honey creates a barrier to stop the

attack of microorganisms and to reduce inflammation.

Throat irritation is an annoying symptom that we have when we contract an infection in our

tonsils or respiratory tract.

It creates an uncomfortable burning sensation that, generally, is accompanied by inflammation

and the difficulty to swallow normally.

While it is not a serious problem, it is important to treat it as soon as possible to keep it

from causing other complication in the system.

Fortunately, there are hydrating and anti-inflammatory ingredients that, once ingested, help to soothe

the throat and stop the discomfort.

We want to take this occasion to share, in detail, the 4 best ingredients that you shouldnt

hesitate to try when you notice this problem.

Take note!

Natural Ingredients to Treat a Sore Throat 1.

Mint Mint has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory

properties that help to stop bacteria and viral growth in the case of a throat infection.

Taking it, preferably with tea, strengthens your immune health and relieves the congestion

in your respiratory tract.

Ingredients 1 cup of water (250 ml)

1 tablespoon of mint leaves (10 g) Preparation

Bring the water to a boil and, when it is heated, add the mint leaves

Let it sit for 10 minutes and then strain How to drink it

Drink it in sips, 2 or 3 times a day If you would like, add a little lemon juice

and gargle it 2.

Honey Honey is one of the most potent natural antibiotics

and, because of that, it is a great remedy for getting rid of throat irritation caused

by infections.

Its sugars and natural enzymes soothe the inflamed tissues and create a barrier against

attacks from microorganisms.

Ingredients 2 tablespoons of honey (50 g)

1 cup of water (250 ml) Preparation

Dilute the tablespoon of honey in warm water How to drink it

Drink it twice a day until the pain has been relieved

3.

Ginger Gingerol, the main active ingredient in ginger,

has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that help to treat conditions that cause pain

or irritation in the throat.

It creates a nice, warming sensation at the affected area.

This helps to control congestion and reduces excess mucous.

Ingredients 1 teaspoon of grated ginger (5 g)

1 cup of water (250 ml) Preparation

Add the grated ginger to a cup of boiling water and cover it

Let sit for 10 minutes, strain it, and then drink

How to drink it Drink before you experience the first symptom

of irritation Drink 2 or 3 times a day if you find it necessary

4.

Turmeric milk Turmeric milk is an ancient anti-inflammatory

remedy that, because of its high content of nutrients, helps to control conditions that

affect the respiratory tract and lungs.

Its main active ingredient, curcumin, relieves the itchy sensation and creates a protective

layer against germs and particular allergens.

Ingredients 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder (5 g)

A cup of milk (250 ml) 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g)

Preparation Dilute the turmeric powder in a cup of warm

milk and then sweeten with honey How to drink it

Drink it once a day until the pain is relieved

My Contour & Highlight Routine (Round Face) - Duration: 15:10.

hey guys so for today's video I have my contour and highlight routine I'm really

excited to share this with you guys cuz I've been getting so many questions

lately on like the products that I've been using coz I've been doing more

cream contouring lately I've kind of switched up my highlight contour routine

over the last couple months it's not really the same powder routine that it

used to be I've really been loving creams I've also found some brushes that

have been like my holy girls I've been getting a lot of questions from you guys

on the brushes that I've been loving so yeah this video is gonna be a full

in-depth highlight and contour routine on how I shape my face since I do have a

wider rounder face with chubby cheeks so I do like to kind of really define and

shape my face through my contour and highlight so if you are interested in

checking out my contour and highlight routine then definitely keep on watching

alright so let's get started with my contour and highlight routine I've been

getting a lot of questions from you guys recently on what I use to cream contour

so that's we're gonna do today I've been really loving cream contouring lately so

that's what I've been doing so that's what I'm going to show you guys today so

I always start off with concealer and lately it's just been the Tarte shaped

tape I'm like obsessed with this concealer this is the shade light/medium

so normally when I apply my concealer I really go in and I don't do a white

triangle I've mentioned this before on my channel and that reason being I want

to pretty much shadow the sides of my face since I do have a wide face if I

highlight these parts of my face I'm just gonna you know drag my face

outwards and make it look wider whereas I kind of want my face to look longer

and slimmer as opposed to wider and rounder so instead of bringing the

concealer all the way back here like you see a lot of people doing instead I stop

over here and you'll notice I bring it down because I really want to again

elongate and I love this concealer because it's so nice and matte that I

don't even set it sometimes and it looks good and it barely creases and if it

does crease the tiniest bit I kind of just tap it out with my finger and it

goes right away like this concealer is really good if you haven't tried it you

need to so I also normally will take some right down my nose and I'll bring

it up on my forehead and again I'm not gonna take this and do this because I

don't want to widen my face I'm gonna kind of keep it going up almost straight

Cupid's bow and the little bit on the chin I don't really like too much in

that area just a little bit so now I normally go in with my Beauty Blender

and I just start right at the center and I kind of let my concealer sit on my

under eye a little bit that does make it a little fuller coverage even though

this concealer is super full coverage that really helps and a lot of the times

I'll go in with whatever I use to apply my foundation today just happens to be

the huda beauty brush because I just did the first impression of the foundation

so I'm gonna take whatever I used to apply my foundation and go around the

perimeters just like on the outlines just to make everything blend in so now

is where I take my Sigma 3d HD sponge this sponges holy grail for the

under-eye it just blends beautifully and I just love the shape the shape is

really what gets me so what I do is I start in the outer corner and I just tap

tap tap and keep patting it so you don't want to blend it in so much to the point

where you're blending away all the pigment so I just blend it enough and

then I take it up the sides of my nose because that works almost like a reverse

contour bring your cone and I'll stop right there and you'll see there's still

like some blending that needs to be done so that it looks blended and there's no

like rigid lines but what I'll do is I'll take whatever I use for my

foundation or a Beauty Blender either/or and I'll go only on the outlines and

even on the nose I'll just go only on that outline and then I'll go back in

with this I just kind of go back and forth so now that the concealing is kind

of done is when I will go into some cream contouring I have been obsessed

with the scent a beauty matchsticks the matte match sticks so I really have been

using the shade latte and truffle together latte being a bronzer and

truffle being that deeper defining contour so I know it's pretty popular to

put the cream contour on your face but I have kind of really developed the method

of applying it on the brush first now the reason why I kind of started doing

that is because I always hated cream because I applied it on the face and it

just took so long to blend and then sometimes I would over blend and it

would get patchy so I always hated cream contour that's why you guys never saw me

do it before but then I thought to myself one day I was like well what if I

just skip the whole applying it on the face part cuz that was just it was not

like I don't know it just takes too long and sometimes I over blended it it was

very easy to over blend for me I feel like it's more of a beginners trick to

do it this way so I was like what if I apply it on a brush first so I kind of

just did that and I fell in love with it and bam from there I started loving

cream contour because it just looks really natural and skin like on the face

but I still feel super glam so I love applying it on a brush so my two

favorite brushes that I get a lot of questions from you guys on this is the

elf 103 brush I'm obsessed with this for a natural day when I just when I don't

want any contour but I still want some definitions and bronze I'm obsessed with

it for that and for a cream bronzer and then the morphe East 7 it has like the

perfect little angle as you can see but it's still dense and it's not too big

it's not too small take that perfect size for a contour so this provides that

extra really deep definition so I love these two they are bomb for cream

contour like I could not live without them I use them religiously so like I

said I apply the product straight to the brush so we're gonna take a latte from

fenty Beauty and I'm gonna apply it straight on to the brush and this is how

we're gonna put it on the face I love how this is angled too cuz it just works

really nicely with the shape of your face where you would normally contour

and bronze I normally start right at the top of my ear just kind of like angling

it downwards so I'll do that and I'll pounce it I'm not gonna rub I'm just

gonna pounce it on and what this is gonna do is it's gonna help not move my

foundation underneath that looks you guys but look how easy that was to like

I feel like when you apply it on a brush its applied and blended and done at the

same time like a one and done situation just a lot quicker and I'm also gonna

take it and this is where I do a lot of shading a lot of people don't contour or

broaden this area but I really do it helps to make my face look less wide and

makes my face look slimmer so I'm gonna take just a

it a bit more product on my brush and I'm really gonna go in this entire area

even on up to like my eyebrow here right here and just really shade this entire

area in take a little bit more product and I'm gonna bring it a little bit up

my forehead now typically if you have a round face and like a wider face you

wouldn't really want to contour this area cuz you're making it smushed and

again I want to elongate my face but I just love it like I personally love a

nice little bronzed forehead so I don't bring it down too much because it

doesn't really do much in terms of like shaping your face you technically don't

want to really put bronzer there unless you have a really big forehead but I

just I like how it looks you know so now if I'm having a super lazy glam day I

will literally just take whatever's leftover on this brush and apply it on

the nose like super messily and it just gives you a nice natural quick nose

contour but we're gonna actually do full-on like not full-on nose contour

because I never do like a full intense one but that's sometimes what I do feel

like a quick version anyways I'm gonna take a little bit more product not a lot

but just a little bit and now we're gonna shape and contour the jawline area

but I'll show you exactly what I do for this part so I always start on the chin

and what I do is I don't know if you guys notice but I have pretty like wide

I don't know if this is gonna change once I lose more weight cuz I know once

I lost weight my jaw really looks a lot more defined because I kind of lost a

lot of fat in that area I don't know if that's gonna change even more but I can

tell my face shape right now I have like this right here and it's pretty you know

so sometimes I like to just cut that off and make it look a little bit slimmer

and longer so what I do is I take the chin area and I contour this almost like

as if you're gonna hide it almost and this is where I do a lot of that and

underneath and then I'll take it and just kind of blend it down because you

don't want there to be like that stark line but I'll always take it and connect

it a little bit to what I did before and just apply a little bit on the ears

whatever is left over so now we're gonna go in with truffle and this has been

like my favorite part lately especially when I want a super glam contour so I'm

going to take truffle apply a little bit because it's super

pigmented so just a little bit on the e7 and contour and add that extra

definition

and look at how easy that is to just apply it and blend out and sometimes

I'll just take whatever is kind of left over and move it up so just stipple and

bounce it upwards just so that it's like seamless and I'll take whatever is left

over and just kind of applies not really much also lately I've been really taking

some and applying it under the lip it just gives you a lip that extra extra

pout and definition makes them look a little bit bigger so when it comes to

the nose contour you can use the Fenty beauty I just find it's pretty chubby

and I like to just apply it straight on the nose so I'm gonna use my NYX wonder

stick for this step I kind of alternate I really love the hard-candy contour

stick and medium for the nose I love the k'kaw beauty and medium for

the nose and I also love this one in the shade Universal for the nose so I kind

of just you know switch back and forth between those ones so I'm just gonna

take some I bring it kind of close to the brow and just bring it down and stop

it there I don't really do like a full-on intense nose contour I just kind

of like how it shapes my face when I have a little bit on so to blend out my

nose contour just keeping it real I've been using the k'kaw Beauty UM brush

just because it's small it just fits perfectly and I like it but it's

definitely not necessary I sometimes have done it with the e7 2 and just kind

of like how this one's a bit smaller and it just fits right there and it allows

me to be like a little bit messy with it I don't really need my nose contour to

be like perfectly chiseled and contour it I like it to look a little bit put a

bit more on the natural side and now what I always do is I will take my

Beauty Blender on the clean side and go over that just to make sure they all

blend in sometimes I'll take whatever is leftover on my sponge and reiterate that

highlight so I just remembered I didn't even set my under eye yet but that's

kind of what I was telling you is before you really do not need to set the Too

Faced under-eye but sometimes I still do I'm gonna take the Fenty Beauty

translucent Universal powder and I'm just going to set that under a little

bit with that so I'm actually also going to take the

Kat Von D shade in like contour palette I also use the wet and wild contour

palettes to I have them back there in my everyday makeup drawer I love them but I

just have this sitting on my vanity right now so I'm gonna use this one but

the wet and wild one is a total dupe and I use that one a lot like I've hit pan

on those ones so you can totally just buy that instead of the Kat Von D one

cuz it's cheaper but I'm just taking this yellow shade and setting and

brightening that under eye I don't really like to apply too much because I

don't really like to look too powdery and I will also take a little bit on the

top of the nose a little bit pretty much everywhere I use that Turk concealer so

I'm gonna set my nose contour a little bit with the hoola bronzer and I haven't

tried this brush before normally I just use a different brush but today I'm

gonna try this one this is the M 0 by morphe and I only am taking a little bit

like tiniest amount on the brush and I'm just slightly going over it not much

because again I like a really natural contour I don't like it to look like I

flew on contoured my nose on the bottom so now I'm going to set the cream bronze

in contour and I kind of you know change up what bronzers I'm using but today I

really want to use the Milani baked Soleil bronzer so I always get questions

on this brush this is the Sigma duo fiber f50 brush literally Holy Grail

bronzer brush the bristles that are on top here you see how they're kind of

like naked obviously the whole duo-fiber thing this top naked layer really

applies the bronzer smoothly and it doesn't move the prize underneath it

just applies it very airbrushed and then that layer underneath

makes sure that it kind of blends it out nicely it's just duo fiber brushes are

like balm so I kind of just let the top layer sit on top nicely I don't press

down too hard or just let it sit right on top and I do it in circular motions I

love this bronzer because it has a really nice

Lumosity to it but nothing too luminous and it just gives a nice medium

beautiful bronze you always want to bring it into the hairline too and of

course just take it on the job so sometimes I will apply blush and

sometimes it will apply a cream highlight but for today I just want to

go straight in with my Anastacio Nicole Guerrero glow kit in the shade and glow

getter my favorite like I just I loved this highlight so much I'm gonna take a

lot of it I really want to be beaming today because I'm gonna just do simple

makeup today so I just want my face to really speak for itself so I never take

my highlight and apply it on the sides cuz I've gone toward that area but I do

take it on the top of my cheek and just bring it down a little bit and I always

take it on the brow bone and bring it up here thank you and I always take some on

the nose and the Cupid's bow so that is pretty much it for my contour and

highlight routine I'm just gonna go ahead and finish up my brows my eyes my

lips and I'm gonna pop back on camera to finish up this video for you guys all

right you guys that completes my highlight and contour routine I really

hope you guys enjoyed it and I hope you got some helpful tips on how to make

your face look slimmer if you're like me and you do have like a wide face square

round or chubby cheeks anything like that this routine will definitely work

make sure you test it out let me know if you guys do end up testing it out and it

works for you anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this video thank you guys so

much for watching and of course I will see you guys in my next video bye guys

The Wolf at the Door: Ep. 23 | Assessing a Potential Trust Lawsuit - Duration: 2:13.

Hello, I'm Mike Hackard.

I'm the chair of Hackard Law, a law firm focusing on estate, trust and elder financial abuse

litigation in California's major urban areas.

I'm the author of The Wolf at The Door: Undue Influence and Elder Financial Abuse.

The book is now available for order on Amazon.

This is episode 23, where I discuss reviewing a potential case of elder financial abuse

or other wrongdoing over a trust or estate.

My process of intake is straightforward.

Once I've received a call or email from a prospective client or referral attorney,

I'll have my legal team gather the facts.

These include estate, trust, and probate documents, texts and email communications, and basic

timelines for an initial review.

If I decide to take the case, we will then focus on the wrongdoer and his actions.

My top priority is to prevent any further violations of beneficiary rights and protect

the client's interests.

If the wrongdoer doesn't have an attorney, my firm will contact him, explain our role

representing the plaintiff, and many times suggests a solution.

If he has representation, then I'll go over the same ground with his lawyer.

The courts prefer early mediation to litigation over a disputed estate or trust, but delay

is unacceptable – it's important to begin a process toward resolution as soon as possible.

The defendant's choice to delay comes with expensive consequences.

Civil lawsuits, if appropriate, are filed against the trust wrongdoer.

That generally means the right to a jury trial, assessment of attorney's fees, and the possible

awarding of punitive damages.

In these cases a wrongdoer's delay has not helped him or her.

We take our duty to protect clients and their trust beneficiary rights seriously, and we

act accordingly.

If you would like a free digital copy of the book when it comes out, email us at hackard@hackardlaw.com.

I'm happy to share this book on this very important topic.

Thank you.

Trump Just PULLED Out This Piece Of Paper And Pissed Off Every Terrorist In The World - Duration: 24:35.

Trump Just PULLED Out This Piece Of Paper And Pissed Off Every Terrorist In The World

President Donald J Trump has now beaten ISIS in Raqqa with the help of his incredible military

leadership.

Here is his statement on the issue:

Actually, hold up.

Before we get to Trump's statement.

Take a look at this pic.

This is a map of how much ISIS holdings have shrunk under just a year of Trump

"THE WHITE HOUSE Office of the Press Secretary FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 21, 2017

"Statement by President Donald J. Trump on the Defeat of ISIS in Raqqah

I am pleased to announce that the Syrian Democratic Forces, our partners in the fight against

ISIS in Syria, have successfully recaptured Raqqah – the terrorist group's self-proclaimed

capital city.

Together, our forces have liberated the entire city from ISIS control.

The defeat of ISIS in Raqqah represents a critical breakthrough in our worldwide campaign

to defeat ISIS and its wicked ideology.

With the liberation of ISIS's capital and the vast majority of its territory, the end

of the ISIS caliphate is in sight.

We will soon transition into a new phase in which we will support local security forces,

de-escalate violence across Syria, and advance the conditions for lasting peace, so that

the terrorists cannot return to threaten our collective security again.

Together, with our allies and partners, we will support diplomatic negotiations that

end the violence, allow refugees to return safely home, and yield a political transition

that honors the will of the Syrian people.

One of my core campaign promises to the American people was to defeat ISIS and to counter the

spread of hateful ideology.

That is why, in the first days of my Administration, I issued orders to give our commanders and

troops on the ground the full authorities to achieve this mission.

As a result, ISIS strongholds in Mosul and Raqqah have fallen.

We have made, alongside our coalition partners, more progress against these evil terrorists

in the past several months than in the past several years.

I commend all of our coalition partners for the sacrifices they have made in this noble

effort.

Therefore, as we recognize this military accomplishment, we also pause to honor our service men and

women and all they have given to protect us and all civilized people from these modern

day barbarians.

Today, we reaffirm that ISIS leaders, and anyone who supports them, must and will face

justice.

"

Share this if you are glad that Trump is at the helm.

He is fighting every day to make this country great again and to save the world from the

horror

of ISIS.

this project will be a crochet character cube you can make letters numbers or

shapes with this technique each letter or character is made with

the embroidery chain stitch we will make six individual sides for the cube and

then crochet them together with the single crochet this is the yarn I'm

using for this project and it's nice and soft I'm using a size G crochet hook and

a chain of sixteen seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen

sixteen now work one single crochet in each chain across for a total of fifteen

there's two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen

I'm finishing up my 17th row

I am going to use the embroidery chain stitch to make the letter on my cube

before I start my embroidery chain letter I'm going to put on a temporary

yarn guide and this is supposed to help me so I have something to follow and my

letter will be a little bit neater than if I were just winging it and what I'll

be doing is pulling this out as I progress with my letter or number or

shape you can do all three with those letters numbers and shapes characters

anything that you want to make

and I'm going to insert my needle from the bottom side up to the front like

this and leave a little tail here this will be on the inside I'm going to start

making my embroidery chain stitch and I insert my needle in the same hole where

I just came up and then up maybe about a quarter of an inch or so and then make

my chain just like that and I insert my needle and the hole where I just came up

and then put it up a little bit further just like that catching a little bit of

thread continue on up the side until you have the straight edge of your are

complete

I'm here at the training section so I'll just go ahead and turn in this direction

and pull out more of my guide I don't want to catch it in there and just

continue shaping my AR

you could also use some of the fancier fonts that can be found out on the

internet and use them on your block

now I'm to the rounded section of the R

now I'm here on the last leg of the are

and you can see the thread is my yarn is starting to kind of come apart but

that'll it'll still work even if it's coming apart like that

now I take and put my needle to the outside of my loop here and put it to

the back side and just make a knot and secure it in this part is going to be on

the inside since we are making a cube

you can take and tie it to the other side and make a knot just like that then

if you want you can cut off the excess tail we have our our and this will work

by itself if you want to dress it up a little you can use a contrasting color

or you can even use the same color which will make it look a little more bold and

then just start weaving it below the chain this is the rope effect

you

now we want to align the sides together like this and evenly single crochet

approximately 16 15 to 16 single crochet along the edge so we'll slip stitch them

together first and then start working single crochet through the edge

there's ten

12

14 and 15 and this is what we have

now we want to cut the yarn wrap the yarn over and pull it through

now I'm aligning the third side and I'll do the same thing

evenly work 15 single crochet along the edge joining the two together

I finished joining the third side I just want to cut the yarn and then pull the

tail through to secure it and we will do the same thing with our fourth side join

it here in the corner and then work approximately 15 single crochet you can

do 16 or 17 or 14 the number on the sides does not have to be perfect just

try to keep the same number for your cube if you're using 14 try to use 14 on

each side so the cube is even I'll continue working your single crochet

evenly across the edge now I've completed the four sides together now I

want to join the sides so they make a cube and this will be the same as

joining the other ones slip stitch to join and then evenly work the single

crochet I'm using 15

they're 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15

cut the yarn this is what we have at this point you may want to sew in some

of the tails because they do get in the way

take the fifth segment and I'll line it so it's evenly covering the edges join

the sites together with a slip stitch and evenly work the single crochet

across the edge I have completed the first side I will be evenly working the

single crochet around the next edge joining the sides together the remaining

edges will be done the same way

I'm to the next corner and I'm going to make sure that I catch a stitch through

the green which was made on the side here

then continue working around now I'm finishing up joining my section to the

cube

and when a slip stitch in my beginning single crochet to join and cut my yarn

I have five of my segments joined we will attach the top side the same way

working only three sides and then we want to fill it full of polyester

fiberfill

I've completed the three sides leaving an opening to fill it with polyester

fiberfill and this is what I'm using and then just fill it as full as you want it

to be I find that adding in smaller chunks of fiberfill works best for

shaping the square I've got mine filled I don't like to stuff it too full or it

starts to lose the cube shape and the sides will round out so I just don't

like to stuff it too full continue single crocheting to close the

two sides together on this last edge now cut the yarn and I'm sewing in the last

tail here

and the cube is complete

The story of Moses and Al-Khadir, By Sheikh Salih Al-Maghamsi - Duration: 46:46.

This is the story of Moses and Al-Khadir, as it is known in Qur'an and Seerah..

The most truthful, He said:

"And when Moses said to [Fatah], "

meaning is; "And [mention] when Moses said to [Fatah], "

Our Lord said: "And [mention] when Moses said to [Fatah], "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas.. "

First,

the connection between these verses and the verses before them..

And secondly,

Why did Moses say that?

So, about the first..

In the verse that came before this verse..

Allah said: "And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees.. "

Allah, Almighty, told us about his arrogance and his departure..

then in the next verses, Allah has mentioned the state of the disbelievers..

And then, He, Almighty, told us about people who follow their whims!

those who only listen to their desires..

and they misbehave, i.e. they disobey Allah..

Then Allah, Almighty has mentioned one of his servants..

who has obeyed the command of Allah.. and he was..

Moses!

He didn't have any of the arrogance.. that Iblees has..

as he refused to prostrate.

People of knowledge said that envy and arrogance has made Iblees cursed after he was in an established status

How did we know that he was cursed?

Allah said: "And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense.""

and how did we know that he was established there?

the evidence, is his presence with the Angels when Allah,Almighty, commanded them to prostrate to Adam!

So, In Hadith of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them, at Sahih Bukhari

he said, after the introduction..

i.e. Ibn Abbas said: 'Obai Ibn kaab told me..'

Who is Obai Ibn kaab?.. he is an honorable Sahabi from Al-Ansar

He is one of the persons, that people were directed to take Qur'an from them!

'Take Qur'an from 4 persons..' then he mentioned Obai Ibn kaab among them!

And Ibn Abbas was one of the young Sahaba..

He said: 'Obai Ibn kaab told me..

he said that Moses, peace be upon him, held a speech to Bani Israil

he made their hearts fearful and their eyes full of tears..

[Because, of his speech]

then a man came after him.. he said; O prophet of Allah, is there anyone who is more knowledgeable than you?

i.e. on Earth?

He said; No!

It was the will of Allah that Moses forgot to return the knowledge to Allah[ the answer..]

then his Lord admonished him..

He said to him; 'I have at the junction of the two seas a man who knows more than you.'

So, Moses said;

[As he wanted to learn more]..

he said: 'How can I reach him?'

So, Allah, Almighty, instructed him to..

to take with him a fish in a bucket..

and he told hem; wherever you lose the fish, is the man!

i.e. at that site.

So, Moses took a fish in a bucket, as his food supply..

and he took a boy [Fatan]with him to serve him..

Allah, Almighty, said: "And [mention] when Moses said to his servant[Fatah].."

That Fata..

Usually, in the format of the Qur'an..

putting the word; Fata, in such arrangements..

it means; he is a slave.

But, here, he was Yusha Bin Noon, and he is not a slave..

and he was mentioned as Fata for respect..

with Moses..

And it is known that important persons usually need someone to serve them..

and we find this in Qur'an and in Sunnah..

And this verse here is an example from Qur'an..

And in Sunnah, we know that the prophet, SAW, used to have, from his companions, who were serving him..

and we know that when he went to Al-Taief, he had zaid with him..

Zaid Ibn Haritha.

Otherwise, the word; Fata when added.. in the usual arrangement of Qur'an, it means; a slave

Allah, Almighty, said:

" And [mention] when Moses said to his servant," and he is known to be; Yusha Bin Noon.

""I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for [Huquba].""

meaning of that; I will continue walking..

until I reach the junction of the two seas to meet..

Al-Qhedir

or I will continue for [Huquba]..

people of knowledge say that one Heqba equals 80 years..

But, here, Moses didn't mean 80 years exactly..

But, he, peace be upon him, meant that he will continue walking..

no matter for how long..

until I reach my destination..

That was an indication of his persistence..

May Salat and Salam from Allah be upon him.

And in Hadith Sahih, Al-Khadir was called so because..

he sat on a leather with white fur[Farw]..

then it turned green..

so, he was called; Al-Khadir, and the Hadith is in Al-Bukhari.

Al-Qurtubi, may Allah put mercy upon him, he said that the meaning of the Hadith.. of the white fur.. it is; the earth..

and I think, this is not probable..

because, we all know what is the fur[Farw]..

But, I'm just telling you what Al-Qurtubi, may Allah put mercy upon him, said.

The point is..

Allah, Almighty, said:

""I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period.""

".. But when.."

".. they reached the junction between them,"

i.e. Moses and his servant reached the place..

their destination..

and people of knowledge have disagreement about where is that?

They said; it is at Tangier.. at Morocco.

And they said; it is between the Roman Sea and the Persian Sea.

and many other sites..

places that I see they are far..

and it shouldn't be very far from the land of Sinai.

because the event happened when Moses was at the land of Sinai

Allah, Almighty, said:

"But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish.."

i.e. Moses and his servant slept..

"and it took its course into the sea, [Saraba]"

We say [Masrab], and it means; a path to slip away..

So, the fish slipped from the bucket, into the sea..

Some of the people of knowledge said that; this happened at a spring of water..

that is called; The Spring of Life.

and sprinkles from its water have dropped on the fish..

so, it became alive, and went to the sea..

And for me, we have no proof for that, and it is not logical for the mind..

And if you read in the World Literature..

you notice that many of the Novels..

are based on this idea..

i.e. the presence of The Spring of Life!

The point is..

By the will of Allah, the fish was able to leave the bucket!

Yusha noticed that, but Moses didn't see it..

So, Yusha saw the fish coming out of the bucket to the sea!

and after Moses was awaken.. the servant forgot..

to tell Moses..

peace be upon them both.

and they continued their journey..

later, Moses became hungry..

definitely, as prophets are human beings too...

So, he was hungry..

and he asked the Fata to bring their food..

At that time, Yusha remembered the incident of the fish..

"He said, "Did you see when we retired.."

[Me and you]..

".. to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish.."

i.e. I forgot to keep it.. look after it..

".. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly"."

i.e. a strange thing to happen!

So, Moses realized that; that was the sign..

Allah said:

"[Moses] said, "That is.." i.e. that is the site!

".. what we were seeking." ".. i.e. our destination.

So, The wise person, after knowing that he had passed the target..

he must throw arrogance and stubbornness behind his back, for the purpose of accomplishing his goals..

he doesn't like to be seen great with rigidity..

Allah said about his Kaleem; "So they returned, following their footprints. [Qasasa]"..i.e. they returned back.

"So they returned, following their footprints." means that they returned along the same path they were walking..

avoiding to use another path, so as not to be lost on the way back, or to be late..

"So they returned, following their footprints."

then some of the details are not given here, to be brief..

"And they found a servant from among Our servants..' i.e. Moses and Yusha found Al-Khadir.

"to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge."

And this is a great appraisal, from Allah, of one of His honorable servants; Al-Khadir, peace be upon him.

Allah, Almighty, said:

"And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy.. "

Allah has mentioned mercy before knowledge..

Same as at Surat Ar-Rahman.. He said: "The Most Merciful.. Taught the Qur'an,"

And for a person to help people to benefit from his knowledge..

they need to feel that he has mercy for them.

this is for teachers.. and it does not conflict with respect and firmness..

and the person can be respectful and kind at the same time!

".. to whom we had given mercy from Us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge."

That was about Al-Khadir, and scholars had different views about him!

As.. is he a prophet or not?

and, is he still alive or dead?

and as I see it, he is a prophet who had died.

From Qur'an, we can detect that he is a prophet..

But we can't be positive!

Why we can't be certain, because, we don't have a clear text that states that!

And what is the difference.. having an indication from Qur'an and not having an explicit text?

If there is a straightforward statement that indicates he is a prophet..

then a person would say he is not a prophet.. then this person will be considered Kafir[disbeliever]

But, we do not have a proof.. a text..

so, we can't judge a person as being Kafir, because he said that he is not a prophet.

Though, we say, most probably he was a prophet, peace be upon him.

Allah, Almighty, said:

"[Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints."

"And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge."

"Moses said to him.. "

And as we know Moses is the Kaleem of Allah..

and the most prestigious position of this man, is being a prophet.

"Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?""

He accepted to be a follower of this man, though he is the Kaleem of Allah!

And by that, he is admitting his shortage of knowledge..

and he told that he doesn't want all the knowledge of Al-Khadir.. "from what you have been taught"

"Mema=Min Ma".. i.e. from what.. some!

"from what you have been taught of sound judgement"

i.e. a knowledge that is beneficial for me, at Dunya and Akhirah

So..

From these verses and from similar verses, Shara'a has stated that..

that man must travel for the sake of learning..

And Imam Bukhari, may Allah put mercy upon him, has told us that..

Jabir, may Allah put mercy on him, had traveled for a month to go to Abdullah Ibn Onays

to learn one Hadith..

and I've mentioned this before.

And it was narrated in Hadith from Abu-Hurairah, in the Sahih of Ibn Hibban, authenticated with good Sanad..

that Moses, peace be upon him..

Asked Allah about seven characters..

and he believed that 6 of them are his, specifically

and Moses didn't like the seventh.

How many?.. Seven.

He said: 'O Lord..

Who is the most conscious of You[Atqa], among Your servants?

He said, who says Dhkir and do not forget..'

[La Ilah Ila Allah]

Dhkir; says all that reminds him of Allah!

'Who is the most conscious of You[Atqa], among Your servants.?

He said, who says Dhkir and do not forget..

he said; who is the most guided among Your servants?

He said; who follows guidance..

he said; who is the best judge among Your servants?

He said; who judges for others, as he judges for himself ..

he said; who is the most knowledgeable among Your servants?

He said; who is never satisfied from knowledge..

He adds the knowledge of others to his knowledge..

he said; who is the most venerated[A'az] among Your servants?

He said who forgives when he can..

he said; who is the richest among Your servants?

He said: who accepts whatever is given to him..

How many are these?.. six!

still we have the seventh..

that Moses doesn't like!

he said: who is the poorest among Your servants?

He said: a companion who is Manqoos[deficient]!

this means..

i.e. he loves to have goodness for himself and he doesn't love it for others!

and this what Moses hated most..

And as we can see he was fair with his Fata, Yusha..

and when Yusha told him that he forgot the fish..

he didn't blame him!

because, traveling requires patience..

as we will see..

Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?

So Al-Khadir said to him: 'Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience.'

Then he said to him: 'And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?'.

This means that, when man knows the outcome, he will be able to be more tolerant!

But, when the situation is not clear for him..

he will be more incompetent..

and this is obvious.. from Qur'an!

"And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?""

Al-Khadir was astonished; how can man be patient and he doesn't understand what is going on?!

But, Moses has strengthened his will by saying:

'You will find me, if Allah wills..'

They said; he said that to have power and blessings..

and also said; to have support from Allah..

and also said; It was just a comment!

'You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order.'

Then, Al-Qhedir accepted, on one condition..

He said; Then if you follow me..

i.e. as I accepted that you follow me..

So, don't ask me about anything..

until I make to you about it mention.

i.e. don't be the one to open the subject.

If a person is seeking knowledge.. by attaching to a Sheikh..

He should not begin a dialogue with him..

He should wait till his Sheikh chose to teach him something..

don't take the initiative..

He is older than you..

and you are with him to learn from what he says..

He knows better, if he is qualified!

he knows that is good for you..

So, he is going to give it to you, gradually.

And the relation between the student and the teacher will be in jeopardy, if the student was hastening..

to know something that should be postponed..

and to open a subject that should be closed!

These positions and levels are not perceived by anyone.. may Allah teach us all how to deal with them!

A person might say..

what about the saying that; 'The answer for illiteracy is within asking!'

And Allah said: "So ask the people of the message if you do not know."

But, you must differentiate between the companionship and the casual meeting..

So, in a casual meeting you can ask the Sheikh anything..

if you want to know an answer for a personal matter, you may ask.

But, when having a relation of companionship..

and your intention is to have a scientific relationship with him..

in this case, it is inappropriate to be initiative with him!

This is a long topic, though, the matter is not absolutely definite in a certain way, and this is just a hint about the subject!

The most truthful, He said: "So they set out,.. " Both went together..

i.e. Moses wasn't with his Fata; servant!

This is possible, but, maybe he was with them and he is not mentioned because he has nothing to do with the story now..

Allah, Almighty said:

"So they set out.." and it was narrated in Sahih narration..

that Moses and Al-khadir..

went on a ship..

and the owners of the ship..

seeing Moses and Al-khadir. they recognized Al-khadir!

So, they allowed them on the ship without paying a fee..

as a respect for Al-khadir..

So, while they were on the ship..

a sparrow came..

then, it dipped its beak once or twice in the sea

Then Al-khadir said to Moses; Do you know what is this sparrow saying?

He said; No!

He said; He is saying that..

'Your knowledge[ i.e. of you.. Al-khadir].

and the knowledge of Moses in relation to the knowledge of Allah is as the amount that this bird has taken from the sea!'

And this..

doesn't need further explanation.

because, Allah Almighty has mercy and knowledge that encompass everything!

And, when Allah wants to give His servant goodness, He will teach him that is beneficial for his Akhira..

and He will teach him that is beneficial at his Dunya

However, the knowledge for Akhira is the best.

Because, Allah said about people of Dunya: "They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware."

Our Lord said: "So they set out.. "

"until when they had embarked on the ship, Al-khadir tore it open."

"[Moses] said, "Have you torn it open to drown its people? You have certainly done a grave thing.""

i.e. Al-khadir, peace be upon him, went to one of the planks of the boat..

and plucked it out..

[kharakaha].. then, he closed the hole.. with something..

We have two different words; [Khalq and Kharq]

The Khalq; is for the purpose of correction and fixing..

and the Kharq; is for the purpose of corruption.. damage..

And Allah, Almighty has coupled the two words in one verse..

Allah, Almighty, said:

"But they have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn, while He has created them[Khalaqahum] - and have fabricated[Kharaqo] for Him sons and daughters, without having knowledge. "

After, this action, done by Al-Khadir..

Moses didn't like it..

He said.. as in Qur'an

forgetting his agreement with Al-Khadir..

"[Moses] said, "Have you torn it open to drown its people? You have certainly done a grave thing.""

meaning is..

and it is in a form of question..

You did so to drown its people?

i.e. the human soul is counted great by Allah..

So, he didn't worry about drowning the ship itself!

and ruining the ship was not a concern of Moses!

But, if it is damaged it will sink.. and if it did, its owners will drown too.. will die!

This is to know that Islam is about protecting the human souls..

and these are the religions of the prophets.

And the decree[Shar'a] of previous nations is our decree, unless it is stated to be canceled.

or we learn that it is not for us.

For that, Moses said to Khadir; to drown[Li turiqa] its people..

And Linguistically, the letter [Lam].. is not[ For the reason]..

But, it is[For the outcome ].

" "Have you torn it open to drown its people? You have certainly done a grave thing.""

These people gave us a free lift..

but, you have broken their boat!

Then, Al-Khadir reminded him with their agreement..

"[Al-Khadir] said, "Did I not say that.."

he said that calmly..

" "Did I not say that with me you would never be able to have patience?""

This shows the importance to being frank when dealing with people!

especially in contracts, that must have pre-stated conditions and terms..

This clarity will make contracts smoothly handled..

"[Al-Khadir] said, "Did I not say that with me you would never be able to have patience?""

Then the Kaleem of Allah, peace be upon him, asked Al-Khadir to excuse him!

Allah, Almighty, said:

"[Moses] said, "Do not blame me for what I forgot and do not cover me in my matter with difficulty.""

So, the excuse of Moses was that he had forgotten..

as it was stated in Qur'an..

"[Moses] said, "Do not blame me for what I forgot and do not cover me in my matter with difficulty.""

i.e. don't rebuke me severely..

and don't expect, that is difficult, from me!

as I just forgot..

The most truthful said:

"So they set out.. " i.e. they've reached shore..

"until when they met a boy, he [Al-Khadir] killed him."

and it seems that, this boy was juvenile..

a young boy playing at the street with other boys..

So, Al-Khadir killed him!

Then, Moses, who couldn't be patient seeing the plucking out of a plank from the boat..

how could he be patient on seeing the breaking of a neck?!

"[Moses] said, "Have you killed a pure soul for other than [having killed] a soul? You have certainly done a deplorable thing[Nukra].""

and [Nukr] is a catastrophic matter.. a huge issue..

and it is not[Munkar]..

there is a difference between the meaning of the two words..

[Al-Munkar] is against the truth..

a matter that is abolished, by Shar'a

even if it was a trivial issue..

But[Al-Nukr] applies for right and wrong..

the point is to express the matter, as big and sever..

Allah, says:

".. and punished it with a terrible punishment[Nukra]."

i.e. with a sever.. hard punishment..

it doesn't mean that the punishment is [Munkr][ objectionable]

incorrect..

The punishment of Allah is right..

But, the word [Nukr] means that it is a severe matter.. something grave..

"You have certainly done a [Nukra]thing."

"[Al-Khadir] said, "Did I not tell you[Laka] that with me you would never be able to have patience?"".. here, he added more to his words.. [Laka]

first time he said; Did I not say that..

and here, to stress upon the matter, he said; Did I not tell [you] that..

".. with me you would never be able to have patience?""

The man, peace be upon him, is still holding to his original agreement!

" He said, "Did I not tell you that with me you would never be able to have patience?""

So, Moses wanted to force himself to be committed[ and this is Takhreeg, i.e. for explanation, not in the text]..

or Moses, peace be upon him, he wanted to cancel the agreement between both of them!

"[Moses] said, "If I should ask you.. " this was his condition..

""If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse.""

"You have obtained from me[Balagh ta] an excuse" the lettater Ta.. is a pronoun for Al-Khadir, not for Moses..[i.e you obtained.. not me]

""If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse.""

i.e. I don't have any excuse left!

Allah, Almighty, said: "So they set out,.. "

i.e. walking..

"until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food,"

i.e. they were like visitors..

But, the people of the village, didn't give them food..

even after they asked them for food!

"but they refused.." The people of the village refused..

"but they refused to offer them hospitality."

This means that the people of that village were very mean.. despicable..

because, Moses and Al-Khadir were strangers..

and they asked for food..

Though, they refuse to give them hospitality!

Then, Al-Khadir saw a wall that was about to fall down..

Allah, Almighty, said:

"And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so he [Al-Khadir] restored it. "

i.e. Al-Khadir set the wall up straight, so as nor to fall down..

So, Moses didn't approve his action, as they do not deserve to do them good

and they refused to give them a good welcoming.

Allah, Almighty said:

"but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so he[Al-Khadir] restored it.."

"[Moses] said, "If you [Al-Khadirr] wished, you could have taken for it a payment.""

If it is a must that you set up this wall, you could do that for payment, so we can get food!

and these people do not deserve favor..

The lesson here is..

that, man may encounter people who do not recognize his status..

Here, we have Kaleem Allah[Who talks with Allah] with a prophet from Allah or one of the righteous allies of Allah..

Both come to this village where the people refuse to feed them..

and, this doesn't ..

doesn't change the position of Moses.. or of anyone!

And you know that the people in the caravan, who found Yusuf in the well..

Allah said:

"And they sold him for a reduced price - a few Dirhams - and they were, concerning him, of those content with little."[him; is Yusuf]

i.e they didn't need to have him!

and he is a prophet from Allah and the son of a prophet from Allah, who is the son of a prophet from Allah, who is the son of Khalil Allah!

Allah, Almighty, said:

"but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so Al-Khadir restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment.""

Then, Al-Khadir said to him

that being said..

" "This is parting between me and you.. "

By Allah, From this, you can see that the personality of Al-Khadir is strong and fair..

And Al-Khadir knows that this man is Kaleem Allah..

Yet, he was straightforward with him..

"He said, "This is parting between me and you.. "

Actually, It is difficult for people extolling others very much, to accomplish achievements..

And sometimes.. to be frank and strict..

actually, it is not as being tough, but clear and fair..

implementing the right ..

applying the contract..

this is good, most of the time.

Then, Allah, Almighy, said :

"He said, "This is parting between me and you.. "

Imagine someone says to Kaleem of Allah; 'This is parting between me and you.'!!

Then..

And this is included in what Allah, Almighty, said at Surat Al-Baqarah; "And do not forget graciousness between you."

as he could have said; this is parting between me and you, then he leaves him..

without giving him an explanation..

But, he said:

".. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have[Tastate'e] patience."

Notice that the word[Tastate'e] is heavily stressed upon!

Because, the matter was not very clear to Moses yet!

Seeing a man opening a hole in the boat of people who allowed him to be on their boat free, without a fee..

And seeing a man killing an innocent boy..

And seeing a man fixing a wall that belongs to mean people!

All of that.. Moses couldn't understand, why did Al-Qhedir do that?!

and the events were accumulating in his mind without clarification..

"He said, "This is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience."

i.e. I will explain to you..

why I did these actions..

He said: "As for the ship, it belonged to poor people[Li Masakeen ] working at sea.. "i.e. The Lam letter indicates ownership.. they owned the ship.

And in Qur'an we find the words needy[Masakeen] and poor[Foqara'a]

And the scholars have different opinions about the difference between their meanings..

And in conclusion, it was found that [Al-Faqr] is severer than [Al-Maskanah]..

So, the Faqeer is more needy than the Miskeen..

The proof is that..

these people have owned a ship..

and they are taking fee from the passengers..

yet, Allah, Almighty, has described them as Masakeen!

He said: "As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea.." i.e. That was the only source of their income!

".. So I intended to cause defect in it.." So, he attributed the causing of defect, to himself, as courtesy with Allah..

".. So I intended to cause defect in it.. "

".. as there was after them.. ".. Now he is telling the reason for ruining it..

".. as there was [Wara'a]them a king who seized every [good] ship by force."

And by saying; he was a king.. he means that, this person who wants to take the ship, I can't prevent him from taking it!

i.e. if he was an ordinary person.. a common man..

a criminal man.. an offender who ambushes people..

I wouldn't have damaged the ship.. I would have helped them to get rid of him, or to release the ship from seizing..

But, he stressed upon that, he was a king..

a defined king, to show that I am not capable of facing him!

and it is better for me and for the passengers and for the owners of the ship to avoid escalating the matter to that level!

" as there was [Wara'a] them".. [Wara'a]is interpreted as; in front of them.. ahead of them..

and this is common in Qur'an.. to have the word; [Wara'a] behind.. meaning as; in front of!

Allah, Almighty, said:

"and behind[Wara'a] them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected."

and we know that the time of barrier[Barzakh] is ahead and not behind the person..

But,

though, the rule is that the verse should be interpreted as it is..

but, those who said that [Wara'a] means in front..

are saying that it is more logical to be so..

because, if the king was behind them..

then they have escaped from him..

but, when we say that the king is in front of them..

i.e. he is waiting for the ship to come across, in front of him!

And the case is flexible..

the point is that; this king was intimidating them!

And Al-Khadir wanted to do them a favor..

and now he is giving his excuse!

He said; "As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea.."

And, they were weak, by status and by capacity.. they can't fight back

".. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force."

He takes the ships, forcibly.. from its owners..

So, I wanted to make it defective, so that the king would not care to take it!

That solution was simple.. to make the ship defective.

to solve the problem!

That is why, all the people of principles and of intellect are knowing that it is impossible to find a pure Goodness[Khair] in Dunyah..

nor to find a pure wickedness in Dunyah!

all of them have impurities..

But,

A wise person would have an overview of the matter..

and if someone wanted to disapprove a decision..

to deprecate a matter..

that is made by his father.. his brother.. a scholar..

a ruler.. a merchant..

.. he would highlight the worst part of the decision..

but, if he has an overview of the matter..

it would be very clear to him!

But, to be fair is not easy..

and is not for everyone to be able to do..

And as we said before.. when Moses asked Allah; who is the best judge among Your servants?

He said; who judges for others, as he judges for himself..

and few people can do so!

And it was said that the bee produces..

what is said to be honey, if the person wanted to compliment it..

and that Allah has mentioned it in His Book, and said that it is a cure for people.

Others might say that it is the vomit of the Vespidae.

Others might say that it is the vomitus of the Vespidae.

it is rejected by the bee, and I came to eat it!!

So, everything is just as you view it..

But, as we've said..

What makes people unfair in judgment is sometimes due to.. lack of comprehending.. or due to bad intentions.. or both of them!

The point is that, Al-Khadir didn't mind to open a hole in the ship, knowing that damaging it is the best to do for its owners..

"As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force."

That was all about the first issue.

And Moses didn't comment at All..

this means that he was convinced..

"And as for the boy, "

You didn't approve killing him?!

"And as for the boy, his parents were.."

".. believers.."

".. and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief."

That was necessarily to happen.. he will be a disbeliever.. as in the knowledge of Allah..

So, if he would live..

and his parents, being fond of him..

he may make them deviate from Iman!

So, it is better for them to lose their son..

than to lose their Deen.

".. and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief."

"So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy."

And it was said..

the scholars said that..

they were given a daughter instead of the boy, and Allah knows the best.. this is unseen.

and we can't attribute this to logic.. but we just convey what was said.

there is nothing with it, and nothing against it.. as a proof

"And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief."

"So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy."

Again, Moses did not comment, as a sign of being convinced..

"And as for the wall.. "

"it belonged to two boys[Li Ghulamain].. " The Lam letter in the word [Li Ghulamain]..

is as the Lam letter of the word[Li Masakeen]..

that indicates ownership..

"And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city,.."

"and there was beneath it.. ".. Now he is giving more details about the case..

i.e. under the wall..

"a treasure for them,"

This means that its OK.. no problem..

that a man would collect a treasure for his boys and daughters after his death..

but, he must pay its Zakat regularly..

and by giving its Zakat, it is not disagreeable by any means..

but, if he didn't give its Zakat, then it is a vilified collection of treasure..

So, there is no problem after giving Zakat.

And as we know that having offspring is a means of power and advance, also, having money is a means of prosperity and benefits..

.. money is beauty and advantage..

and with it, man can protect himself from the transgression of the evil ones.

So. Allah described that father as being righteous.. though, he had a treasure, yet he is a righteous man..

"And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous."

Then Al-Khadir said that what made me..

restore the wall is that, there was a treasure beneath it..

and Allah made me be there, to fix the wall, because of the righteousness of the father..

Clear?!

What made me straighten up the wall not to fall down..

was the presence of the treasure.. to preserve it.

And what made me leave my home and wander on lands, to come to this site..

to these mean people.. to restore this wall.. to preserve this treasure..

What?!.. it was the righteousness of the father!

"and their father had been righteous."

And I believe, that smart people like you don't need mentioning that, the best thing you can leave for your children, after your death.. after doing all what it takes..

is to be virtuous in yourself.

"and their father had been righteous."

Then, Allah said that Al-Khadir said:

"So your Lord intended that.. "

".. they reach maturity.. "

Why did he say that?

Because, if it wasn't the will of Allah, that they reach maturity..

what is the use of restoring the wall.. if the owners of the wall are to die!.

So, he said; "your Lord intended that they reach maturity.. "

Here, Al-Khadir didn't attribute this thing to himself..

because, this is not within the ability of Al-Khadir

to make them reach maturity, impossible!

Here, the case was explained as it is.. simply and normally..

"your Lord intended that they reach maturity.. " i.e. the two boys..

" and extract their treasure,".. both of them..

Then, he said:

".. as a mercy from your Lord."

And when Allah wants to grant His servant, goodness, He will grant him His mercy!

And, By Allah, the best thing that you may ask for.. for yourself and for your children, males and females, is the Mercy of Allah.

He said:

"as a mercy from your Lord. " then he said..and this is the proof that Al-Khadir was a prophet..

is his saying: "And I did it not of my own accord."

and this is to prevent us from believing, as some Sufis of this time, and before this time..

that Awlia'a [allies] of Allah can do things.. things that only Allah can do!

this is an excessive transgression in the belief and an extrusion out of the right path..

and a true ignorance of knowledge, about Allah

He said:

"And I did it not of my own accord."

i.e. I did what I did by an inspiration from Allah

And this augments the opinion that Al-Khadir was a prophet..

"And I did it not of my own accord."

Then, after he explained all the matter.. from A to Z

He said: "That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have[Taste'a] patience.""

[Taste'a] is light this time..

"That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have[Taste'a] patience.""

And you couldn't be patient because you didn't understand the matter!

"That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have[Taste'a] patience.""

That was the story of Moses with Al-Khadir

peace be upon them..

as it was in the Book of Allah, Almighty, and we've told you about it in brief..

One point is left..

that I gave a hint about it before, and now, I will talk about it in details

That is; some scholars claim that Al-Khadir is still alive..

Some of our Imams said that..

they are figures in Deen.. and we don't doubt their high status..

But..

From that is viewed in Qur'an and Sunnah..

that; Al-Khadir is dead..

because, the rule is that everyone lives for a while then he dies!

and to exclude Al-Khadir from this rule, we need a proof..

And Allah, Almighty, said: "Every soul will taste death.. "

and he, SAW, said:

'All the souls that are here today, will not last more than a 100 years.'

And..

the scholars have brought some logical evidences..

They said that, at the Day of Badr, the prophet, SAW, was..

helped to have victory by the best men on Earth!

So, he said: 'Allahumma, if You will vanish this group, then, You may never be worshiped on Earth, .' [i.e. most probably, as he is the last messenger to people]

The scholars said: if Al-Khadir was alive that day..

He would be obliged to come to the prophet, SAW, to support him..

and not to despise being in the army, of the best among people, SAW

at the Day of Badr..

because, that was the most honorable army ever.

And as we know, among those who were in that army; As-Siddique, Al-Farooq..

Saad Ibn Muath..

Hamza and Ali.. all of the best men, from Muhajireen and Ansar and Al-Albayt.

and others, who were with the prophet, SAW, at that great day!

The point is..

That, by the will of Allah, it is the truth, that he had died.

and that, we do not have a proof that he is still alive till today.

Of course, the scholars who say that he is still alive, they count on visions of righteous people and others, who say that they have seen him!

But, even though, the visions of righteous people can't invalidate an established rule

and it doesn't provide a sound proof that we can count on!

Next, I have some general recommendations that is specific for students seeking knowledge..

others may also benefit from this..

If a scholar has allowed you to be with him..

and he is loving and looking after you..

taking care of you.. and giving you ..

from that he has learned from Allah..

How to behave with him?!

Scholars has categorized the etiquette with kings..

and the code of polite behavior in the presence of scholars..

and with others..

The point is, when a person knows that his being with someone is beneficial for him..

and, he is planning to stick with him..

so, he must try to make a place for himself in his heart..

and learns how to be polite with him..

I don't mean to be submissive..

because, submission is only for Allah!

But, there is a polite way for choosing expressions.. words.. and methods.

It was narrated that one of the Ameers of Momineen was kind to a man, he was respecting this man!

People envied the man, and they blamed the Ameer..

They said; you glorify this man.. He said; Because of his politeness!

They said; We didn't see that!

He said; I can show you..

So, when the man came..

and these people who envied him were sitting with the Ameer of Momineen..

Then the Ameer took out a Sewak[ a wood for cleaning teeth]

Meswak.

He said to the man; .. What is the plural of Mesewak?

the man said; O Ameer of Momineen, It is the word that is opposite to the word; Mahasinik [your merits].

Who would think like this?!

it needs writing down to understand the trick here..

because we know that the plural of Meswak is masaweek[a word that means also; your wickedness]

and if he just gave the plural of the word, then it was like saying to Ameer of Momeneen; your wickedness.. i.e. that you have wickedness!

So, he didn't say the word; Masaweek [your wickedness]..

he avoided saying the word.

and, on the spot!

He said; What is the plural of Meswak?

the man said; O Ameer of Momineen, It is the word that is opposite to the word; Mahasinik [your merits].

He said: This is the man you are blaming me about!

This is an example of politeness.

Another example is about a man who was with one of the Khalifas, he said; I want to know something but I glorify you to be questioned!

because, Muslim kings and Ameers were not to be questioned!

So, on meeting Khalifas.. The scholars and people of good manners used to..

they didn't use to greet them saying; How are you?

How are you doing?

because, then, he has to answer back!

So, they do not say it in the form of a question, but, they say: May Allah give complete health to Ameer of Momineen.

I ask Allah that Ameer of Momineen is good this morning.

And other forms of expressions in greeting, that doesn't require an answer!

And in knowledge also..

Once, Al-Layth Ibn Sa'd came to Al-Madinah..

And he was seen by.. I believe, if I didn't forget!.. Yahya Ibn Yahya..

Then, Yahya Ibn Yahya on seeing Al-Layth Ibn Sa'd, on a mule..

he grabbed the reins of the ride and led the mule..

He asked him; Who are you?

He said; Yahya Ibn Yahya..

Then Al-Layth made Dua'a for him..

He said; May knowledge serve you?

and Allah blessed that Duaa'..

Then Yahya Ibn Yahya became famous, he became one of the greatest men in Ummah in knowledge of Hadith

And when Al-Layth made that Dua'a for him, he was young!

Yet, on seeing the scholar, he showed him courtesy!

hopping that he might get..

a Dua'a.

And Al-Layth wasn't in need that Yahya Ibn Yahya to lead his ride..

But, the point is..

This kind of politeness..

when to speak.. when to keep silent..

when to begin.. when to finish!

this would help you to last, staying with whom you wish to stay!

But, if you are not looking to stay with a person..

So,

Don't disparage him..

But, as Allah said about women.. ".. or release [her] with good treatment... "

leave him, and he leaves you!

But, it you want to stay adherent.. with someone..

make him feels your good manners..

For example..

I'll say this in the last minutes..

When you are with a father, and his children.. his family.. are with him..

and the father is to carry a heavy load..

as a bag!

and his children are standing there.. around him..

The person who is driven by his emotions, rather than by his mind..

he would rush to carry the bag!

and the person who is controlled by his mind rather than by his emotions..

he will not touch the bag!.. Why?!

Because, if you carry his bag and his children are present..

It is like saying to him; your children do not care for helping you, So, I served you.

and that they do not appreciate your position, but, I do.

In such situations, a person must act as inattentive

And as I said before.. a beneficial story about Al-Mamoon.. He was searching for the inkwell

The inkwell was far from him..

and beside it, was one of the litterateurs..

Then the Ameer began to call;

O, servant.. O, boy..

he wanted the servant to bring the inkwell..

and that man was hearing his calling.. and he was seeing the inkwell!

but, he pretended as if he was not!

And ameer of Momineen is calling; O, boy.. O, servant..

and that man is still.. as if hearing nothing!

And Al-Mamoon is a highly knowledgeable and intellectual person..

Then, the servant came..

he said to him: Bring me the inkwell.. He gave it to him..

He said; O servant, write down..

50 thousand Dirham for this man..

because, he was polite.. How was that?!

Because, if he brought the inkwell himself..

it is like saying to Ameer of Momineen that ..

All your boys and your servants..

they do not obey you, and you are the Ameer of Momineen!!

and I had to bring it to you.

But, he pretended as if he was not hearing.. not seeing..

And at certain occasions..

the intelligent person must pretend as that..

as if he is not hearing nor seeing!!

And neither does he mention it later..

This advice is for the person who wants to enter these worlds..

And if not, then, Allah has spared him the need for this.

And All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Things DON'T Happen For a Reason - Duration: 4:32.

hello my friends of the internet and happy Monday I wanted to chat with you today about the

fact that not everything happens for a reason now this is a concept that I

heard over the weekend based on a set of very personal circumstances that I'm not

gonna go into but the fact remains that someone very close to me

was kind of upset was very upset for a very good reason and said nope forget it

I don't believe that everything happens for a reason in fact there are no

reasons that stuff happens the reality is is that in this lifetime

that's very true there is either stuff doesn't happen for a reason or we'll

just never know what it is I've got two things to say about that one of them is

this memory right here very close to my mom's passing she suddenly and I mean

like days before she passed away she suddenly got this glow about her and

this smile came across her face and I was just like mom what are you thinking

about like what's going on in your brain and she's just said I'll finally know

now I'll finally know and I said what do you mean she said now I'm finally gonna know

all of those things that happened in life that I had no clue why they were

happening she was confident that when she passed away and I believe goes you

know went to heaven that she was finally gonna understand all the shit that

happened in life that just she couldn't figure out you know it didn't make sense

while here on this earth that's my first reflection on this stuff doesn't happen

for a reason comment secondly whether or not it happens for a reason is almost

irrelevant because life good or bad happy or sad great or horrible life

happens to us all and it's all about choices it's all about the choices that

we make regarding our thoughts thereafter our actions our reactions

you know there are consequences to things that we do in this lifetime and

everything that we do everything that we think everything that comes out of our

mouth is a choice and I say that with a bit of a giggle because you know I often

say the dumbest things I say the dumbest things about myself I say the dumbest

things about life I say the dumbest things about circumstances that's often

my coping mechanism is to you know be funny or crack a joke or be silly about

it not that there's negative consequences to that all the time but in

general yeah there's consequences in this life there's consequences when we

make choices in our businesses there's consequences when we choose to not take

actions there's consequences... there's it's just life

but at the end of the day at the end of our lives do we choose happiness do we

choose joy yeah do we choose to get sick do we choose to go broke do we choose to

you know lose customers or clients or go out of business or have a fire or a

flood or any of those things no we don't choose that but we can choose how we

react when life is awful and we just don't know why there doesn't have to be

a reason but we have to choose that's what I wanted to share with you today my

wonderful friends of the internet I hope this resonates with you because it's

really really hitting home for me right now today this day if you've enjoyed

Eleni Kounalakis Visits Santa Rosa After Devastating Wildfires - Duration: 2:52.

You can help us not just with prayers and thoughts but with blood, sweat, and tears

and resources as we move forward in our recovery.

Tell us what you've seen here, and just a little bit about it.

Well, Supervisor Gore, it's unlike anything I've ever seen in my life.

And, I was up at the Wall Fire, I was out at the Mariposa Fire

but the number of homes and the density of the homes

We're standing in the middle of a neighborhood,

a neighborhood that was home to hundreds of people.

You said 700 families had to be evacuated and have lost their homes just in this little area where we are,

But I'm so impressed with the way you're describing the response to it,

and the fact that people are getting the care that they need,

they have a place to stay,

Families are opening up their homes to others who've lost everything

And you've got a plan - a plan to clean it up,

a plan to make sure that the state government is working with the local government,

And working with the federal government.

We passed some Army National Guardsmen on the way in

Everybody's working together to rebuild, to clean up,

to rebuild, and to move forward and it's inspiring.

Well I think the thing for me is, is that, what I appreciate is,

I invited you here. You didn't come here to try and be a politician,

And you're not running for office to be a politician

I know you, I know the people who are supporting you

You're running as a public servant leader,

And that's what I appreciate

You need to come here, you know, this is about people knowing and feeling what it is,

So that you can talk about this on the campaign trail,

So you can tell people what we're dealing with up here,

And use this as an example for building a resilient future for California,

So thank you for the opportunity to be here with you.

Well thank you so much,

I believe in California, I believe in the people of this state

So I'm not surprised to hear you say that everybody's coming together to move forward

And to turn this disaster into a moment of opportunity

To make sure that the rebuilding comes quickly

And also that there's housing.

Because there was a housing crisis before,

That crisis is now exacerbated by the loss of 7,000 homes

My background was, for almost 20 years,

working and delivering middle-class family housing in the Sacramento region

We have got to rebuild quickly and adequately,

and make sure that our working families up here in the Sonoma area

are able to get back in their homes and get that roof back over their families' heads

Okay, thank you so much for being here.

Thank you, thank you.

Once upon a time a boy, named Zach, was in his house.

Zach was tired, because he was street fighting.

But there was a problem! Crap! His mother also was in the house.

Mother, after seeing Zach, said, "today is school!"

Zach responded, "no, mother. I am sick today."

Mother, because she loved Zach, said, "awww, Zach, stay in the house today."

But Zach did not stay home. Zach went to Jupiter.

Zach was happy in Jupiter.

But there was a problem. Crap! His mother also went to Jupiter.

His mother, after entering Jupiter, saw Zach.

Was Zach in school? No! Mother was angry.

Mother said, "Zach, you are sick today. Why are you in Jupiter?"

Zach responded, "No mother. I am not sick today. I am tired."

Mother, because she was angry,

took Zach to school.

Zach was sad in school.
